bait and Switch, it’s a filter app nothing else. This is not a contact manager, it has the exact same functions as iOS and nothing more except a confusing interface and the ability to back contacts. I bought it to try to cleanup my contacts manage groups.. I can create groups but cannot edit their membership and the help says you can but the help doesn’t match the app and I even paid the upgrade and it still only lets me add / delete groups but not membership. what irritates me even more several functions in the app take me to another app in the App Store even after making the purchase and they want you to buy them too. No thanks.. total bait and switch app in my opinion.

Best iPhone application on the web.. This product has so many useful options including: 1. Contacts without a group 2. Contacts with multiple groups 3. Contacts without e-mail 4. Contacts without a phone And many more. I a contact list approaching 8,000 in size this allows cloning contacts so common information doesn’t have to entered. Contact date of creation is available. Recent modified are available in order of most recent to least. Best product of its type. Great addition to your contacts app provided by Apple.

Groups!!. The ability to make groups that are then accessible in the native contacts app is the reason I downloaded this app years ago. It fits the job!!!

This app is perfect for what I need. I love my Apple devices, but I wanted to maintain all my contacts in Google Contacts and sync selected contacts to my iPhone. Then the iPhone could sync those contacts to iCloud and all my other devices (iPad, Mac, etc) could pick them up. I’m able to do this using ABC Groups and it’s sister app, Contacts Sync for Google Gmail. I use Contacts Sync to bring over contacts from selected Google Contacts groups. I use ABC Groups to manage contacts within those groups. Any changes I make are synced back to Google using Contacts Sync. When I create a contact on my iPhone, I use ABC Groups to assign it to a group and Contacts Sync will create it in Google Contacts. It blows my mind that iOS Contacts has a group feature, but no way to easily manage them. Without ABC Groups and Contacts Sync, I’d be a very unhappy camper.

What's goin' on?. I sent an email about a week ago and it did not arrive until hours later, 12 or more. I know because I am one of the recipients. Also, I did not get any replies to the email until after it arrived in my inbox. During a recent cross country trip, on which I send a daily email to fam and friends, I wrote 4 emails to a group of 40-45 people and only the first one was sent. These were on Oct 12, 13 and 14th. The last three told me they were sent successfully but none arrived to my inbox and I confirmed with another recipient that they only received the first one as well. They were sent using free wifi at restaurants, one at Red Lobster and two at McDonalds, but again I received the successfully sent message after each one. If I don't receive a response with an acceptable explanation in a week, I may have already deleted your app and found a better one. I like everything about your app for group mail except it's apparently unreliable. Danny Wilson

Build Contact Groups on an iPhone. This App picks up where Apple falls down on easily managing Groups on the iPhone. Easy to add or remove contacts to any Group. Fantastic for sending Group text messages. 5-Stars!

Go-To Contact Manager App. I especially like this one because of group management showing me to send emails/texts to multiple group members. Idon’t comprehend why Apple doesn’t offer this facility in the Contacts app but ...🤷‍♂️

Does what it says without loop holes. This is a great app. Simple to start and use. It organizes your contacts into groups which are affected in the main contacts app. No limits. Does have ads in the free version but not obtrusive. It won't find duplicates but I think they have another app that can do that with premium. You can call, text, email individuals and groups from this app.

Very helpful contacts app!. I mostly needed a contacts app that would show me photos and second lines (employers) in the list, not just the native app’s long list where everything blends together. This does great. So far I’m happy with the backup option which is included free. I do *not* use some of the more complex functions that other people have mentioned issues with - like group text, or the app selecting wrong numbers/contact points for people. I also don’t use this app’s list syncing functions (which it might actually try to make you buy in a different app); I just have the phone sync natively to my Gmail account and that suffices for me.

Does what Apple Contacts should do. I use my iPad more for work, especially the Contacts. Apple's app has such minimal functionality, especially for Apple. Tried several until I got this. Wonderful. Has every feature I wanted and needed to be able to maximize its use. Especially LOVE the groups feature. I did run into a few glitches until I got it imported and set up correctly, but customer support was very responsive and helpful. Quite a few good things that should be in the Help section, which I told them, but at least I knew I had a resource for getting answers. Made my life much easier--which is what our "toys" are all about, right?! UPDATE: well, it has been several years now that I have used this app (iPhone and iPad). Initially, I was anxious that it would eventually disappoint. However, it continues to have all the functionality I want and NEED for work and play. If you want a great Contacts app, this is the one.

Versatility. I like the way I can group contacts with the groups I need. I just wish it defaulted to mobile or work number.

Does Not Make It Easy. So I put 20 plus contacts into a group. Come to find out I cannot email all at once. Have to send the email individually. Cannot add new contacts to the group despite following directions. Only options are to delete the group or rename it. I am extremely frustrated.

Best Contact Suite Ever. This suite of contact apps is perfect. You can easily back up contacts, send group email, group text all from one app and it associated apps. Simple to use.

Bare Bones. Greatly restricted in usefulness by its 5 message limitation on the quantity of messages one can send at a time. Increase that to 15 and provide a way to save and organize messages until they are no longer needed for a 5 star rating.

Best group creation app. The developer is very responsive to feedback. As a VoiceOver user, I wrote him about the way the buttons are labeled and got a very nice reply that same day that he has addressed it in all his apps and the changes will be in the next update. That is true customer service.

ABC GROUPS. I use this every week since I have various groups and teams I have to communicate via mass text and email. It’s easy to use, it sinks to my contacts so it’s easy to add or subtract someone to the group and it allow me to have as many people to the communication that I need. Please keep doing a great job. I love this app

Most Helpful App. I needed something on my iPad to send group mail to my Sunday School class. This works pretty well. There are a few bugs I am trying to work out , but in the long run it is very helpful. I really like using this app. The more I learn how to use it, the better I like it..

Great step forward for iOS group mail. More needed.. This is a very helpful app for sending email to groups without setting up new group configurations (as with MailShot). The ease of Mail editing is somewhat limited for those who find the display font a bit minuscule.

Good deal!. App works great and is perfect for my group notifications! I’ve had A small sending issue. That I am able to work around I hope to get that resolved soon.

Very good!. Looked for iPhone group contacts manager for a while. Not much available. This one is a big improvement over Apple’s. Slight lag on back (to All) button after editing single contact. Mildly annoying, but head and shoulders above any similar app I’ve seen.

New user. I’m using the app to send 400 text every morning and it works fantastic. Very few issues easy to use, I love it :-)

Too many pop-ups for a “Free” app. OK, so I can’t really begrudge an app developer for making money an app they develop. But please don’t call it a “Free Version” when constantly barrage your user base with countless pop-up ads to purchase the “paid” version. Don’t try to wear me down - simply make the paid version more enticing to begin with.

Great App. I have been using this App a few years now and I love it. You are able to create groups with no problems and editing file are so easy. I would recommend this App for people who have several groups to maintain on their cell phone

Nothing better!. The suite from ABC is second to none. And the personal customer support is the greatest!

Better than Apple’s App for Editing Contacts & Groups. I seldom use it for group emailing, though it does that well, but do use it often to keep 2,500+ contacts in iOS organized. The native Apple app won’t edit the “group” field, but this inexpensive app does. In fact, you can edit any field in the contact record as well as the names of groups of contacts. Using it with “Contacts Sync for Google” from the same developer, it’s easy to edit contacts, manage them in groups, and sync them to Google Contacts. You can sync only selected groups to sync to Google if you have more confidence in Apple’s privacy than Google’s.

Restore solved what Apple restore had made worse. I had bought ABC to easily view and modify the multiple groups on my contacts. But a few days ago I made an error which lost a set of my contacts, and then used Restore on iCloud to put them back. To my horror and frustration, iCloud’s restore made things much worse, losing more of the contacts and losing the groups on others. I therefore used the restore on this app, which I fortunately remember I had saved just a week ago or so. That brought back all the contacts on my iPhone, complete with groups. Yay, I was so happy with the app and so relieved!

Learning. Just got this new iPhone and learning all the new stuff. I’m a bit older so it’s taking a little time. I do enjoy the new stuff. Need to use the new stuff more often so I don’t loose it!! Lol

Very helpful great program. This is a great little program! For making group email lists on an iPad. As you cannot create a group list in Contacts on the iPad. It took me a little while to figure out how to use this. It would be better if they had a video tutorial. But once you get the hang of it it works really well! Make sure you create a back up if he files. You house you could a race everything. But use it wisely you’ll be happy!

ABC Groups. Really like the app. I have over 900 contacts in my phone. Even though I am still learning what it will do, it is a great organizational tool which is appreciated very much.

Good program, but!!!. Good program for group texts. I use it all the time in my work with college students. My only problem is the limitation to 5 persons for my group texting - which means sending multiple texts in the group.

It works. App is ok. It gets messages out, but it just picks a phone number to use and so sometimes not all the people in my group gets my message. I have gone in and completely delete my contact to try to correct the phone number the app chooses and it still will choose the land line instead of the mobile number! Grrrr!!

Great App. I have looked for an App that would allow reliable grouping of contacts by category to replace one I have had since the early days of iPhones. The one I have used no longer worked and wasn’t maintained by the creator. Luckily I was able to find this App which excels in every function I need. It is a solid very useful tool. Thanks for the terrific app.

Just want I needed. When Word and Contacts quit working on my laptop, i began using my iPad. This app helps me keep my contacts current and is easy to use.

Recommended!. Simple, and great, and directly creates iCloud groups. I went ahead and paid the dollar or whatever it was to upgrade it. But it has the same functionality with it without the upgrade. I use this more and more 👌🏼

Great app. I can’t believe the iPhone won’t let you make your own groups and do not disturb for certain ones versus the others. This app does the trick!

Adding contacts to group text. I love this app until it is time to add a new contact. It says to hit the + button, but that adds to the phone book and not to the created group that I would be texting. I will probably look for another app just because of the difficulty of adding new contacts to my group

The Perfect App.. I just love this app. It merges perfectly with my iPhone contacts. I can send group texts, messages, you name it, and it's all beautifully organized. If you own an iPhone, get this app you will love it...!!!

Love it!. I was using a different app for my contacts. I got a new phone and tried to load the app which I really liked because it was user friendly and did what I wanted. Not perfect but few things are so I was disappointed when I found out that app was no longer available. So I tried 3-4 different ones and finally settled on this one. Now I am thrilled that the other one isn’t available because this one is so much better.

An Excellent App!. This is a well-designed application. It does exactly what it supposed to do. It facilitates the sending out of group text extremely well. I have used this app for a few years with no problems. I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly Powerful. This app solves an issue I’ve had with managing contact groups, which incredibly the default iPhone app STILL cannot do in 2021. It also has a ton of really nice configuration options that make it well worth a purchase.

Awesome app for groups. I use this app everyday and it works great I was looking for an app that would allow me to keep 700 contacts in custom groups and add new groups or add new people to existing groups and it does that PERFECTLY YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED

Doesn't do what I want. I'm looking for an app that searches within the contacts notes. I don't mean telling me which contact the keyword is located but actually taking me to the line in the notes where the key word is. I use my contacts notes as a database where I keep passwords, info etc.. Taking me just to the contact means I have to still search within that contact for the entry which can be difficult. Unfortunately this app does not take you to the keyword. It only shows you which contact the keyword is located in.

Let’s me set up and use group functionality. For some reason Apple doesn’t let me set up groups.

So easy even an old guy can do this!. I have multiple groups that I need to keep in touch with and this app makes it so easy! I simply select a group, add and delete group members as required, email, attach a document, it does everything I need. Great app!

Best Contacts App going around. I use this app for my consulting business. So easy to use. Managing contacts is no longer a nightmare. I wouldn't be without it.

Great App. I needed to send a bulk email to a group that I had already created in Apple Mail on my iMac. The mail group was there on my iPad but it gave me no easy way to send to the group in one go. This app made it easy. Copied my contacts list on opening, complete with groups and just got the job done. Well done.

Helpful to manage Community Group. I run a community choir which has members coming and going. This app (along with the sync app) helps me stay on top of contact details for current members.

Happy manager. Nice easy app. I manage a few different sporting sides and this app makes group texting very very easy. I have used 3 other apps and have now deleted them because they just couldn't do the job properly.

Not happy. When adding contacts to groups, the search facility doesn’t locate some existing contacts. For instance, I cannot add family members to a family group because it doesn’t find them under group contact search. So, what other names might it not find? Unreliable therefore. I won’t be using it even though I paid.

Worked first time ... perfectly. My first use of this app was to send a super-urgent COVID-19 message to over 50 people. (No time for a test!!) It worked first time. A really nice way to select contacts on your phone and create a group that is simple to maintain. It’s a snap to send an SMS to a group using your phone plan. Perfect if your plan has unlimited texts. Very happy.

Extremely helpful in Stressful situation. Presently in a stressful situation where communication with two separate groups required different levels of details. Also large numbers to be informed so this option for communication has been extremely helpful.

Excellent Grouping, editing contacts. Been using this app many years use it every few days. This is a excellent for group and moving contacts best app I found that works well worth every dollar. Works really well to organize you contacts by group or reorganize your group. This is the best one I tried many paid apps.

Sorting by date created or modified is great!! Can you add.... Being able to sort contacts by date is very useful feature of this app. Thank you! Could you possibly add the ability to also show the date any particular contact was created when viewing any contact? Or better yet, add a feature to add Create Date into the contact itself? Adding to the notes field would be fine, example add an entry to every or selected Contacts note field: “Date Created: 2018-05-10” This would be a GREAT enhancement worth paying for and 5 stars :)

Not user friendly. At first, I liked this App, but it has become very cumbersome to set up new groups that are usable by other Apps rather than ABC Groups. I am looking for a better APP for groups.

Addresses. Works well but not as well as Parson's address book. Wish it it reminders for birthdays and anniversaries. Should use it more often

Won’t work consistently. It locks up and I I have to restart my phone to get it to work. Used to send to all 20 in one of my groups, then I got the update and it’s only allowing batches of 5. Sent to the first batch of 5 then locked up and would not send to the second batch. I really want a group text that will work can you help?

Many Contacts are missing. As I’m trying to create groups, many numbers in my contacts are not appearing so I can’t add them in. Then when sending a group text it says ‘successfully sent’ but in my regular texts it shows an error msg

Was good but not anymore…. This app worked awesome and was the best thing a couple years ago. Now, and the developer knows it, the app can’t seem to comply with IOS and my phone 🤦‍♂️. I depended on this app and now I have to find another app 🤦‍♂️. I’m supper developer, but we’ve emailed back and forth and I just can’t seem to get on the same page with y’all and apparently y’all and Apple can’t seem to get on the same page either. I really am saddened by this 🤷‍♂️😢.

Lost my data. Not bad to use but recently I lost about half of the contacts I had saved. No warning. Can’t recommend this app for that reason.!
