One of the OG Here! 👋🏻. I recently looked back at my old credit card statements and on average was spending $2,000 per month on this game. Made some great friends though, and even married someone I met in our clan! Of course once we realized we couldn’t spend as much as we once did, my spouse quit the game (but I kept playing). I went down to $500 a month though. Because I couldn’t keep up with the bigger spenders, it began causing issues at home; I would take it out on my spouse, I would keep the kids home from school because I would be up all night at Wonder Battles, and eventually, kicked my spouse out of the house for not being more understanding. We have since split up, and now I am paying $20,000 per month in alimony. All because of a mobile phone app. Don’t be stupid kids… run, do not walk, run away from this game. Don’t download it. Thank me later.

Ideas. Low the price idea & update ideas A lot of people would play even more if this game updates to a whole new level. Like new music more action packed and have more details. Let’s say you lost a battle when someone attacked you, it would be playing some different instense music. With fire ashes going across your screen. And when you win you get victory you got victory music And when you attack someone I want to be able to hear them attacking A lot of people have been talking about outrider skins They want a profile picture of a outrider permanently and a skin of a outrider in there own city People in alliances have been wanting to have that for years They want some type of hero that looks like an outrider in the battle reports And also people want to see there hero when they click it have an animation when they are idol Animation is what this game really needs more of And now to the prices Mz should really lower the prices on Demi god and most importantly dragon dimension People want the packs to be cut in half like 100$ to 50. You will be making far more money if you lower the price because a lot of people are not going to spend 100 on a pack but would much rather pay 50. I guarantee you will make more since people can actually afford it I hope you read this and look at the ideas and let me know what you think so I can tell people in the kingdom afterwards

Best strategy game ever, yet.... I really loved GOW because of its versatility, being able to do multiple things at one time like building, crafting and researching, gather resources plus training. Was the best of all strategy games for that fact & I recommended this game to anyone who wanted the best strategy game ever. 5 stars all day until it changed to the Demigod level, then it went downhill from there. Packs are ridiculously high, rarely on sale like they used to, can’t use some of my items I bought before the change (have to break most of them if they can be) crazy upgrading times and impossible to get some of the things if you want to upgrade any farm, Up your VIP and Stronghold. My alliance was very active in this game, participating in all KVK’s plus the Wonders, now the crickets have taken over. Why can’t we still get 30 day shields without paying a fortune? I’d love to get back playing this game like I used to in its hay day of popularity. I could not wait to get on here and play, now I just check to see if anything has changed and if anyone sent a message. You can get this game back to what it once was without charging crazy prices for packs and masking it difficult to upgrade. I bet the players will come back in droves who quit and make this game awesome again. 3 stars for the time being until things change. ☮️

I would give negative stars if I could!. Don’t get me wrong game was fun but now with the greed and I mean GREED of machine zone I don’t recommend anyone even bother to start playing this game. It’s a shame that MZ has managed to ruin this game in 2 different dimensions in the game. Another thing about the greed of Mz is that they could care less about smaller or mid range players. They take the advice of the big players cause all they want is money and I get it, it’s a business but even if they didn’t make all the upgrades as often as they do people would still buy. Instead smaller and mid range players quit and all that’s left are the big spenders with no one to hit! One day Mz will wake up and realize what idiots they are and how they ruined a great game...twice!✌️

Omg so much fun then it went downhill. I started in 2013. Played this game and had a blast as a trap. Was very well Known and everyone worked together to make each other better. Then demigod hit and it went downhill. The constant upgrades, researches, research, vip, gems, buildings upgrades would be happening sometimes twice a day. Packs are not cheap but You have to spend to stay competitive. And then it got worse with Dragon dimension. A portal to the same game but with dragons. Started out slow so everyone went over because it was old school. Then everything started fast again with the upgrades, researches, gems, dragons then saw duster monsters etc. I played for ten years and finally quit 2023. I would love to come back but it has to change first.

Once upon a time. This game was hands down the most enjoyable mobile game at one time. I keep checking back in hoping for a change that would make it fun again. I am disappointed everytime. There are very few active players and what was once a vast kingdom has all but disappeared. I don’t know how a new player would have any idea what to do they’ve made this game so complicated. I can’t even figure it out and I played for a couple of years lol. They’re basically keeping the game around for the few whales who have invested big $$$$$$ because the game is all but dead. If a change is ever made to make it more community driven and way less $$ driven I’d go all in. Before it became so complicated and driven by greed we had a great community of players. Make the $$ cosmetic focused and take the $$ out of the strategy and this game could be #1 again. Pay to win will always lose in the end. So sad to see something so great be ruined by greed.

Fun to play. Addicting. I've been playing this game for a while now and it's very fun. There are always new features being unlocked in the game which helps keep things fresh and keeps it from being boring. Another cool feature is being able to chat with people from all over the world. One thing I do wish I could change though is to pick and choose which alliance I would join. I wanted to jump into a friend's alliance but couldn't figure out how.

Miss the old GOW. This was my first ever role playing game. It was very addicting, lots of fun. It has probably been close to 5 years now since I played this game. I quit because it became way to expensive. Something always new coming out every couple of days. I spent thousands of dollars on this game…. And for nothing. Nothing to show for it. I even had a coplayer that shared my account and we built it together… but again… even with two people spending we could not keep up. I can only imagine what it is like now. I’ve been tempted to check it out again …. But my wallet and credit card won’t let me. I will stick with Guns of Glory… which was my second game ever played… and I’m still playing with a fraction of the money spent. GOW needs to get back to its roots ..back to the way it was…. Us former addicts miss how things use to be.

Sad. When I started, about 5ish years ago, this game was everything to me. It was fun with real people who cared about you when you were part of their pack like you were family. There was a sense of pride in not attacking the little guys so they could grow and everything was so fun and amazing. Then, MZ became greedy. Updates every single day that made you spend money or else someone was going to destroy you and what you spent building for years in a matter of minutes. People spent thousands of DOLLARS to keep up and not let their hard work go in vain but it was impossible to keep up and not do in debt. I don’t know about you but a game that requires at least $500 a week to keep up isn’t a game that’s worth playing. It breaks my heart to see this app go to crap because I have so many fond memories but I know that I can’t afford to play it anymore because I can’t spend money. Moral of the story, if you don’t have a couple hundreds laying around that you would potentially light up and burn, this game isn’t for you.

Money Pit. I played this game when it first came out until 2018 when I quit. This game was the best most awesome game to play until MZ got so greedy and ruined it. Everything was amazing until MZ started throwing update after update week after week and unless you spent thousands to upgrade you had no chance of competing. Then players, myself included revolted and boycotted the game for a while and MZ slowed down only to start getting greedy AGAIN! When they started losing a large player and spending base they introduce the portal thing. The portal thing did bring some fun back into the game until MZ morons…not learning their lesson the first time ended up ruining the game yet again…at that point my boyfriend and I quit playing. If I could get ALL my money back I would! Even Ctesse quit playing…yeah someone who threw about 2 mill into the game quit….I remember those days. Im writing this review now because I am shocked that this game is still being offered in any online game store and it is almost criminal that it is still being offered. The only reason I am giving this game a star at all is not for the game…I give this star to the wonderful people I met in the game and still in contact with them this very day. If you have never played this game…don’t start.. .its a money pit…there are much better games out there.

It got ruined. This game was awesome back in the day. Been playing for 10 years now. But the last 4 years was just on and off. Basically, farming and upgrading. Trying to catch up. Even with the catch up items. It truly hard to compete. So, many new buildings are hard to understand what it can do for game. Demigod theme really ruined the game. The high level castle also ruined the game. They should left it, the way it was before. Castle level should had top off at either 30 or 50. IDK, I think hey cater to the high level customers who spends thousands of money. They both ruined the game. I think they are many more averages players like who spends little money. They should make another Dimensions/Kingdoms. Wish developer can gives us a free teleport to transfer back to lower level castle of 21 and slowly level up at that new kingdom. It would be more fun again. Revert our old level 21 castle kingdoms of the old days

Karol, this ones for you. Save your money abd aggravation, don’t download load this game. I’ve played it off and on for several years. One constant is the players are awesome and a lot of intelligent, interesting, and witty people are in the game. But that’s offset by just as awful customer service and developers so greedy they have driven most players out of what’s been a popular war strategy game. Amazingly this company only makes positive corrections after huge numbers of players exit and quit. Karol (example) just wrote me an entire explanation of why MZ will not address my concern based on an imaginary scenario that is completely contrary to my request for help. In her explanation she made up an entire sequence of events that did not occur to justify not righting a wrong. She wins! I lose! Because I have no power. But I do have the power not to play or spend more. Is it a draw? Well it’s a loss to their bottom line when my experience is echoed by thousands.

Play Kingdoms mobile instead. I started playing GOW when it first came out, back when you had to train troops to kill monsters and it was more simple. The game held an interest because I felt at least back then that I didn’t have to spend money to play and be competitive... just patient. Instead I say the game turn sour as packs/gold/ and purchase determines ones ability to stay competitive and not just become a farm from larger players who simply had $$$$ of dollars to spend on the game. This greed turned the game down a path that it would never recover from. I held 4 accounts, spends $250 per account, average. This is nothing to the thousands spent by others. I wish this game would do a complete overhaul and return to the simplicities that made it great, and learn from its mistakes that the companies greed takes advantage of its players.

Way to EXPENSIVE. Although this is a free to play game it is not worth playing unless you spend tons of money on it. I play alongside people who have spent 100 plus dollars on the game and they still have trouble keeping up with most players. The game also tries to take advantage of players who are new to the game and don’t know everything about it by making them spend money on stuff that’s not even worth a dollar and that I’d give away to any new player in a heartbeat. Like right now there is a 50 and a hundred dollar pack on sell both of which give early game resources and items in very low quantities. It’s stuff that you get free when you first log in. There are also other packs that do the same. It’s not just those two. All in all you have to spend a lot of money if you want to have any fun with this game because after a week or two you will run out of things to do without spending money.

Was a good game a long time ago.. I rarely write reviews, but let me give a warning to NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME. Years ago when this game was in its early stage it was fun and did not require much money to play, maybe a few dollars here and there if you wanted a few nicer things like speed ups or just a bit more gold. You could compete with others skillfully and raise a powerful empire with time and dedication. But now in the modern day, you’ll have to pay ridiculous amounts of money just to stand a chance against others. This game evolved from requiring players to use skill and strategy to forcing them to pay huge amounts of money to get troops, speed ups, gold, etc. if they wanted to even start competing. A veteran player is now considered weak no matter how much skill they have, the only chance of them being able to fight on is if they pay the same money as a new player would. Overall this game is just a cash grab at this point and there is no fun in it anymore, MZ has gotten way too greedy, I regret spending my time and money on this game.

Used to be a great game... I loved this game.. loved... when it first came out, I devoted a lot of time into it, and about 6 months in, decided to spend a little.. within weeks I was an elite player, maxed on everything with the best gear and an awesome alliance that helped me become one of the best players in the world. However, 4 years later (and about $80k) I finally decided to give up.. the devs are way too greedy and the updates are ridiculous. I hope someday I will find a game that I can enjoy as much as I enjoyed this one in the early days.. at this point, it would be pointless to play unless you are prepared to spend a lot of money and devote nearly all of your time into account development, since the game now has so much depth, it’s impossible to understand or get ahead of the curve.

Nothing good about this game. The game is impossible to play anymore. I’ve been playing for 1909 days straight. I can honestly say it’s gone down hill. It’s quite apparent that the game has turned in to a money grab. Time to build anything is impossible. I’ve been building a set of traps for a year now because I refuse to spend any money on this game anymore. Peace shield use to cost gold, about 30k for 30 days. Then things changed to loyalty points, okay it was 30m loyalty for 30 days. Now it’s just ridiculous, it now costs 300 million points for a 30 day shield. I stayed playing for the people I met but most have now quit in droves. Kingdom chats are dead. Save yourself some time, don’t play this game or any game by them. Mobile Strike is just as bad. I will be calling Apple to complain.

Bad alliance and toxic communities. Every alliance I join is toxic and bad and when I get in a good alliance I get kicked by my friend for giving resources to another higher level player in are alliance like why is that a problem if I can’t shield and they can why should it matter to them it’s free resources like why just give the resources back after I have been zeroed also why dos everyone make such a fuss about being active most of the people on this game are bots so that is why I am giving this one star because of the toxic community and how close cut the game is I would have rated 3 stars if it was fun but it’s just addicting and boring after 10 levels and if you buy the packs they go from 5$ to 20$ to 100$ and then stay at 100 $ also there is no trading mechanism like for hero’s and it’s never anything new it like ohh you want a good pvp game that requires strategy guess what no thay just made this game so that people or bot can say inappropriate stuff like game has a few words band but like this just needs to be looked into further

This game ruined my life.. Seriously if you have credit cards easily available don't play this. If you have an addictive personality definitely don't play this. I became extremely addicted to this game and spent money without even thinking about it. I'm now in debt up to my eyeballs and can barely afford to pay my credit card bills and provide for my family. This game has caused a rift in my life and while I treasure the friends I've made playing it, I'm embarrassed by the state I've put my family in because of my addiction. I'm now seeing a therapist for depression because of how this game has affected my life. There is no way to truly be successful or take place in any of their "events" without spending money or convincing others to spend money for you. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Terrible Customer Service. My family has played this game for years, and spent more money than we should’ve. But when I went to I quit playing, just recently I started playing again, but I got put in a new starter kingdom that I couldn’t teleport out of to play with my family. I started up a chat with customer service and they never once seriously addressed the issue, they simply said “teleporting is not allowed in you kingdom currently”, they would not talk to me. Instead they sent me generic responses and refused to tell me how to move where I could play with my family and friends I always played with in the past. They actually cut off the communication and told me to start up another chat if I had a DIFFERENT concern.

Horrible and they don’t care $$$. Oddly I still play and wondering why been playing on and off for 8 years or so I think. Never seen a game that want so much money to play. And constantly selling packs because the select 5% continues to buy them. No sooner then I unlocked the highest last troop they came out with new ones always tome, research , vip, hero, hero gear, dragons, war machines it doesn’t stop it’s ridiculous. I feel foolish for spending a 150 to 200 in 8 years some do that in a night for that reason this game will not change. There laughing all the way to the bank. I seen all the latest comments from other people and it’s truly sad how bad the ratings are but there not lying a one start is being kind.

Used to be good...Not anymore. This game used to be a great game to play until MZ got greedy and was putting out updates almost everyday which then in return you would have to spend even more money to keep up. Back about 5 yrs so it was great playing it with awesome people from around the world. I quit well over a year ago because I refused to drop another dime on this game. My city is still shielded lol. It’s a shame MZ what you did to a once good popular game. So many players left and went to other games that are much better and aren’t dropping updates like crazy. Game of War kingdoms are all dead. Such a shame! smh....Now you see what greed got you! Bad reviews and a dead game! I will never play a MZ game again! If I could give zero stars I would!

To beginners. This game is addicting but keep in mind starting is soo confusing. When I first started I was clueless for about 5 months lol. I had people in the game and teach me. I have been playing for 1.5Years now. There is still stuff I don't know. What makes the game fun is the alliance you are. The people that are there. There where times I didn't care about the game, but the friends I made in the game where fun so I played jus to chat and still grew. Also to grow you to basically have to spend money. I have spent $120 and I am at 58 million power but i stayed SH18 for a long time because after that it is expensive but I have an alliance to help me. R.I.P Serrai #100

Still the sad imbalance. Just don’t 😖 I reinstalled the ap when MZ was going to delete old unused castles (I spent a lot on that so no deleting me, let it rot) and what the heck let’s see what’s changed… all pre-demigod items are useless but still there (have fun button mashing to get rid of that). If you don’t spend you can get the useless Athena gifts and feel like you’re building, but without buying you will not have enough rss to succeed nor can you gather these rss. A full player (spender) can 1 troop your castle and kill any pathetic troop you train and take billions of rss… no typo, 1 troop you. There is no play for free here like in similar war games where you can build for free, you won’t be as strong but you can still play, GOW there is no play for free, just free button mashing.

I Used to love this game.....but. This game at one time was so fun, challenging and I played every single day. At times I would buy packs because they were reasonably priced. Then things changed....now the packs are ridiculously priced, items that were at one time purchased in packs aren’t usable anymore so that was a waste of my money. Shields are unattainable due to their cost. It’s literally no fun. I recently updated my email address on my account, followed all the steps and lost the account I’ve played on for years. I’ve reached out several times for assistance and haven’t gotten anywhere. All my time and money down the drain. I would love to be able to get my account back.

Not what is was. I started playing this games bout 2 months after it was released. Put it this way my kingdom number was 14, I’m not sure what they’re up to at this point. I REALLY enjoyed this game. It was very fun to play especially with an active alliance. I played in many kingdoms, had a strong alliance that would play in 4 kingdoms over almost 2 years. It was very fun and there was many strategies to be used from attacking, building multiple accounts and making them farm accounts to feed your main account, working as a team to grow each other to the all mighty lvl 21 kingdom with T4 troops... but over the years it became less fun and more about the money. Unless you’re spending $100’s of dollars a week you aren’t able to be competitive. I really wish it was like it was. I would play again and even be willing to spend money like I did before if it was like the beginning.

Downhill. I played this game when it first came out and it was really fun and it was a great idea. However it all changed in just a couple years MZ got greedy and started doing updates every couple of days and the max castle level went from 21 to 100 in no time and then when I thought that was the worst of it they released another update so in order to catch up with the big players you’d have to spend thousands of dollars and then when they release another update all the money you just spent in the previous one is completely wasted. I am learning programming and some other things and getting a team together to make a similar game that isn’t as pay to play as most games like this one and hopefully without copying their whole idea I can make something just as fun. For now though I play war and order. It’s still pay to win but the biggest spender on my server spends 300 every two weeks so it’s not bad at all.

Fun but Costly. I’ve played over a year and have bought the $5 packs but can’t keep up with the 26.6 billion power players. I play a lot for fun but can’t grow in game without having to being burned and losing my hero or having no speed ups for events to get loyalty to be able to grow. I also think y’all should help the smaller players who don’t want to buy with package deals that are free and if y’all see a account with power not buying give them a pack for free and a thank you for playing gift. Most people struggle with hero’s and being able to level them up so put more time with smaller growing people instead of helping big players who don’t need half of what they need. You all also need to make it where gifting can also be items in your inventory and more updates need to be done about every week to other week so something new or something to help small accounts. I personally think if there under sh80 and under 1 billion power give them a catch up item to sh100 and 10 billion power with troops shield and everything(hero level ups, shields, Max research, and speed ups to train/heal troops).

Needs more. I used to play a few years ago and it was amazing and then they added all the ads that were basically shoved in our faces and you couldn’t really get ahead of the people who paid to grow so fast. I have an honest suggestion I think people would like if done but how about letting people purchase a private server or world where they and their friends could play together themselves without having the high up people who pay tons just for people below them to quit. If you rent a server monthly for a fair price or sell it for a certain amount and allow people to invite who they want to a world I would totally come back and do that because I have friends who love these games but don’t like spending or massive grinding to keep up and eventually get overpowered anyway. Please think about my suggestion!

GOW is a rip off. Don’t play this game. You’ll need to spend thousands of dollars to be competitive. Then you’ll lose all your supplies and builds and need to spend all over again. Packs are ridiculously expensive and you’ll need them just to survive. It is obvious there are certain players who seem to have infinite resources. These players are planted in the game and there is no way they spend $10,000 a month to obtain the amount of resources and upgrades they have. They must be players endorsed by the developer to make sure no one can build up with a “free” account much less paying hundreds or even thousands per month. Stay away from this game as it is a total money pit.

Was a good game. This was a good game, but when it progressed to Demi-God the Game became a useless mess. MZ introduced “Dragon Realm” a sort of reboot. This was interesting at first, but now MZ has headed down the same track that destroyed the original Game. One problem is there are no attack level restrictions , that is any player, the largest most powerful player can attack and instantly destroy the smallest players. Many do, rather than attack at their own level. This is part of MZ strategy of course to get players to spend money to play. There really is no Free play on this game, if you actually want to do anything. At one time there were no loaders for this game, however there are now. MZ doesn’t seem to care. If you haven’t started this game, my advice is don’t, find another, unless of course you are willing to spend tens of thousands of real money to play.

Why. I’ve been playing this game for along time, before the new demigod levels started. This game was fun to play. Now it’s very hard to get building levels and vip levels to a higher play level without spending a small fortune. Wish they would make there sale packs more often with instant building levels and vip levels like they use to have. They have lost a lot of players because of this reason and they’ll lose more if they don’t go back to the way things were! These packs are full of junk now and you multiply on things you really don’t need, rss are harder to get and there gear leveling is way harder! What happened to this game?!

Bad game. It’s literally a bad game They update new gear new buildings levels new training every other day. They make it where you can’t keep up unless you buy then and only then will you maybe stay up until one day someone hits you and zeros you so bad that you can’t rebuild not heal your men. They change recently the heros where you have more different heros new buildings excessively upgrades. They don’t give you any way of understanding of they game of how it works. If you ask MZ about what this new building does or how it applies to They tell you sorry we can’t say anything about that to ask an alliance member or someone from your kingdom but they don’t know either. Yes I am mad because it used to be a good game not anymore unless you have money to blow. This game is crazy unfair; the cost of research is crazy for resources are outstanding out of reach to complete any I reached out to one of the players they sent me some and even with there help it was impossible; they told me the only way to catch up to all the stuff was to buy a pack and even then I wouldn’t have all of the stuff to catch up because of how far I am behind; ive never ever have played an such of a game that was so unfair in the gameplay is crazy so I will leave my little comments and leave this

NOT free- you will pay hundreds of $!! No joke.. This game isn't about strategy, it's all about who has the biggest wallet. You cannot advance without buying their expensive $100 packs that do not have enough stuff to complete anything so you need to buy 5, not exaggerating. Every week there is a new release so you never get to enjoy the last release before needing to buy again because you will be outdated and killed with the following weeks release. If you like to waste hundreds or thousands as some have in this game it won't take long. Customer service is an automated email reply and an absolute joke when you do get a person. No matter what happens, just accept that it’s always going to be your fault and there is never any resolution. Even when the game glitches and takes half of what you just paid for, that’s your fault too. You'll not get it back. If you don't like to spend money, be prepared to be attacked and everything you built will be taken from you so now you start all over. Sounds fun huh? Don't be another sucker!

I remember....... I started playing this game when it first came out, now at that time it was the best game I have EVER played! I still remember getting sooo excited like no game ever. We fought the World Boss, this was one of my favorite activities in the game. New gear for killing monsters, strategy for winning the Wonder, wow really takes me back and have not played a game like it since and I have tried them all. You could create a “Trap Account” for less than $100 and that was a blast, destroying players that attacked you after spending $20,000 and you could beat them, took a lot of research to pull this off but was possible and not sure there was much that was more exciting to play the TRAP. THEN it alllll changed, World Boss was deleted, updates were every couple of weeks so that if you spent $2k you would lose to a guy that spent $200 because he got everything you did plus something new. There are very few things that make you madder than that! It became where a $100 pack was nothing, you needed 10 of those packs to get what you needed. I will always have those memories of playing the greatest on line game ever created and how it was ruined in less than 2 years. Stay away from this game. If I had the ability I would re-create what we had and keep it that way.

Plz Devs Read This And Respond. Please! I beg of you to not give these greedy people any more money with in-app purchases. And devs, PLEASE get rid of these in-app purchases. There should be no in-app purchases in this game except for Gold purchases. I’m telling you, you will see the number of players rise tremendously if you revert back to this type of minimal player purchasing. It will allow people to play a free-to-play game and be able to unlock all of the items available because the way it’s set up at the moment is that we as players MUST play money or else we will forever be at a disadvantage to the players who pay hundreds of dollars a week on this game. This marketing scheme is just plain disgusting. This game should be marketed as freemium rather than free-to-play. And if it’s really that important that you rake in exuberant loads of money, make it $1.99 to download instead. Please do this for my sanity, the sanity of the rest of your player community, and the overall longevity of your game.

EdwardPrince91. I guess it’s time for you guys to wake up smell the coffee. 2013 this game was the best of the best! The only thing they needed to add was those “Ancient Advanced Teleport” to travel to kingdom. A lot of people are gonna be moving around the other kingdoms. Mz, I told you many times. Once a player teleport to a kingdom you have to wait 6 months. You shouldn’t even be teleporting all over the place. The Demi gods is sick! You took away the souls of hearts! The players! I understand you want money. It’s important to return to the old days when this game was just original. Your customer service was great before it all had to crash. I understand that your company had no choice to let you go! Maybe in the future you can reconsider bringing back the old days.

Game is Just About How Much You Spend. Several years ago, the game was quite enjoyable and strategically challenging, with opportunities for non paying players to engage and play the game. Over time the makers have changed the game and constants upon the players (how to shield a city) so that only players that pay actual money to buy upgrades can survive for any period of time. Unless you are looking for an online game you can sink major funds into playing the game, recommend you move on to another app.

Pay to play. I decided to test this game out and see what would happen if I spent 500. I’ll tell you what happened I level up really quick then told I needed to buy another pack. This game you would literally need to pay at least like 1k every week to even grow. This game use to be fun. They should make the packs at most five dollars. Cheapest pack is 20 and it doesn’t do anything except level up your buildings. You have to buy probably like ten different research packs three building packs a level up for your hero pack then a pack for your special troops then your wilding troops. This game really needs major changes on its pricing to be even fun for everyone. You won’t have fun unless you spend bands

Used to be fun.....😪😪. I started playing this game when it first came out. I was an R5 in one of the top alliances in the top kingdom (386). We couldn't wait for new updates and the price to pay was cheap. It was all about strategy and getting to know your kingdom. Then all of a sudden you had to spend $ to play,,, lots of money. Then even more money. I remember a time years ago I would stay up all night to rally people. We had a great time. Then it became ridiculous with new updates. I saw people that were maxed out, zeroed within hours of a new update. It was no longer about strategy. Cores used to be customizable for defense and attackers. Now it's all about the gear you buy. Hero level 550. Is crazy. I miss when SH were only level 21. That was when the game was actually fun. Don't download this game. You will lose your house and your wife/husband after the money you spend just to keep up. MZ took a fun game and ruined it. Clash Royale is much more fun and inexpensive.

Buyer Beware!!. This game could be fun if it wasn’t so costly! Very fast paced doesn’t take much to get zeroed so you have to stay on your toes. The packs for US PLAYERS are $99 pre tax. Cost more for other countries, everything you need to build and progress you have to pay for initially i thought the packs were filled with a lot of stuff but really it’s not because the keep selling stuff you have already and can no longer use. Very rare do the sell catch up packs that include majority of items you have already. Don’t waste your time or your money the developers are very greedy and truly feel your hard earned money grows on trees! They refuse to sell things needed at a cheaper cost that is reasonable!!! Smh

Don’t waste your time. This game is not worth playing. This game is for people who have a lot of money. It used to be a great game but MZ is making it into a money only game. They allow the bigger players who spend money to attack smaller players. You’re a level 1 player and you get attacked by a level 90 making it very hard and difficult for you to get any chance to grow and compete. So don’t waste your time playing this game. They don’t believe in fair play they are only interested in how much money they can make from you and the moment you have any type of problem. You get treated so badly they make you feel like it’s your fault and forget about getting any compensation for something that went wrong with the game itself. So if you have a lot of money then I say play the game. If you want to play and grow and you don’t have a lot of money . DO NOT !!! Play this game .

Not really a game. You can only play if you buy their packs. But the packs don’t contain enough of what is need to stay competitive. Only big spenders ( I mean thousands of dollars per month) are competitive. If you want to play just for fun, this isn’t the game for you. The company doesn’t listen to players, so hardly anyone is buying, and there are literally hundreds of abandoned accounts throughout the different kingdoms. Prizes for events also fall way short, so there is barely any participation. Battles are almost nonexistent, instead players just exchange kills. Disappointing game...too bad. The company is only interested in collecting money, not interested in making the game fun and exciting again. There loss. Please don’t download or play this game, you’ll only be disappointed.

MZ has taken away the strategy. **Updated 9/17** They've really taken the strategy out of "Real Time STRATEGY" It takes years.. literally years to compete with the powerful guys if you don't spend any money. Even if you buy the cheap gold sales in the beginning, it'll still take years to compete. If you want to build your power up quickly, spend the money. I paid for a few gold sales & built my city up pretty good, but I still can't compete w/ the 'billion'-powered guys. I spent just enough where it didn't get out of hand, and I'm able to compete w/ the 'million'-powered guys. Until you guys makes it where us smaller players can compete separately away from the people who spend thousands of dollars, I’ll no longer be playing

Don’t play this game. I started playing this game when it recently came out and everything was good. The updates weren’t as often. You didn’t have to spend so much money to have a decent strong hold. And as soon as MZ got greedy you had to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to put up a fight. I even spend $500 in one day to re build everything and get most of the updated stuff. And I literally lost it to someone using Tier 1 troops and traps. I jus can’t believe that after I made the updates and have higher tier traps would make me stronger, the answer is “no” you will loose money to someone in level 8 and your probably much higher than that and loose everything. I highly don’t recommend this game unless you have serious money to put into this game.

Overpriced. The game is way overpriced fun anymore and nobody plays it because It is overpriced unless you plan on paying $400 a month you can’t compete in this game! That’s why this kingdom is pretty much dead you made it over complicated the last time anybody was on the line and commented on anything was 9 years ago!And you guys don’t even read your reviews if you would read them you would see that you would have a problem with this game everybody’s complaints are the same but you guys change nothing except you start taking things away from players we need right with negative reviews!And if you write something bad about them they start taking things away like secret Gifts!!! Game of War... (2014 days vs. 2019). Fire Age was the best game of 2014, no doubt. It was always number. Everyone was playing it, hell even LINE groups were created for this game. It was big... fast forward to its gigantic fall late 2016... this game is no more. I played again this year because I missed and I got to tell you, it’s fixed. It is fixed, but players do not trust the system anymore. Alliances? Empty. The eerie feelings of you taking a nap and waking up to your city burning? Vanished. There are just not a lot of players in it anymore, and the ones in it do not even bother. I love this game. I miss this game.

Frustrating game. Update - MZ has made it so it’s either update or you can’t play. Well my phone won’t update. Tried to email MZ but the link is not working. Guess that’s it for this game. Fun but the server goes down often. This is fine for non war type games. But in this game, if your shield drops and you cannot log on to replace your shield before you have to go to work or sleep - your city gets attacked and your resources and hero get taken!... And MZ the game's developers will only respond to your complaints with a generic "we'll look into it" response....Unless it affects them monetarily. Which means enough accounts win big actual money spenders need to complain and boycott their in-game money purchases. My advice if you haven't already invested your time, STAY away from the game

Great game. Super addicting. Time based construction, research, troop training building and more. Build your empire and prove yourself, take part in large scale intra kingdom conflicts as well as world conflicts. Do you have what it takes to become the emperor of all the lands? You can play for free but don’t expect to be able to compete. You can still fill your time monster hunting, collecting resources participating in events for amazing rewards and even attacking people in your range. If you plan to pay be prepared to spend heavily if you want to contest and compete at the highest level. The game offers a variety of hero talent trees. Specialize in warfare or resource, construction, upkeep reduction etc. dragons offer another talent selection as well. Upgrade and specialize it. Further augmenting kingdom strength further. Defense, attack, rss construction etc. craft gear, construction banners and fight your way to glory. Try it out, you may just like be it.

Ruined my mobile gaming experience. I started playing game of war when I was only 12 years old. That was 5 years ago. I was never able to spend a ton so I would constantly bargain and deal with the spenders to build up power. Eventually I lost control of my addiction and spent a lot more than I should have. I’m talking about thousands and thousands on a video game. And the sad thing was no matter how much I spent it wasn’t enough to keep up with the new content every day and rising price to play the game. I remember when they even tried out 300$ packs. Anyways this game got me into a ton of trouble with my parents and school. If you are thinking about playing DON’T! You will regret it. I used to be one of the best trap accounts in the game. Spent 6+hrs a day learning the game and best troop setups. Only to eventually quit due to the cost. Summary is pretty much don’t play this game!

What a shame. I played this game from the beginning. It was a nice game at the start until the developers decided to get greedy. Expecting players to pay thousands of dollars trying to keep up with the game or you fall behind. On top introducing more and more upgrades in troops, buildings just to name a few. The list goes on. I could go on and write a huge list how weird this game became. What a disappointment. I can only warn people, do not start this game and spend your hard earned money on it, it’s not worth it! Do not start this game.

Stolen Accounts and MZ do nothing. When you spend $10,000 on a game to have a hacker/ thieve steal it and a company do NOTHING about it you have to question wether you continue on or not. It seriously surprises me that MZs lack of support and help in stolen accounts isn't investigated further, basically promoting it all. "Yes, your account was stolen, No we won't help recover it" Not to mention the lack of customer support, generic emails isn't customer support. They may have won game of the year, however I guarantee most customers/players review against buying or even downloading a game from a company that promotes the use of stolen properties. And before the privacy statements are used, the account has since been sold, which is in direct violation of the policy also yet MZ still won't do anything. Seems they only will if it effects their income. Useless company! Won't be buying any more and don't recommend the game to anyone else....

So slow to open and other problems. Every time after I close the app by pressing home button, it costs a lot of time to reload again, even just leave for a few seconds. Many other mobile games don't require to have long time reload after exit for a fee seconds, and the players can back to game easily. In the game, every player can find a union to join in. But some players join the union in other kingdoms and this causes that they couldn't attend some of the union activities, they cannot apply for union's help when they face the problem in another kingdom. Why do the players have access right to the unions in other kingdoms? I think the union searching or joining range should be limited in one kingdom. There are a lot of benefits from purchasing different packages. But like hundreds of chests, we cannot open them in a short time, those look very good but if we cannot use it as we want, those chests are just like rubbish that takes the room and useless. Better to add something that can let us open all that sort if chests at a time, or not giving those rubbish in the pack. The only one star is given to the CG effect and design. At least it's not so disgusting like some parts in this game. What I said above is not the only bad stuff in this game. Thank you for bring me that sort of joy from the game before I cannot suffer those. Now I decide to remove this game from my iPhone.😇hope other players will enjoy it.

Hopeless. Need to spend hundreds of dollars to make it worth playing if not thousands to really have fun. Constantly having performance issues. Even if you do spend money on the game you don’t always get what you paid for and support staff is powerless and useless. Will send you a message saying they care about your concern and will forward the problem on but never happens, then they also always say they are limited to what items they can put into your account and with no way of getting reimbursed you spend money and you pretty much get robbed. This also happens with items in your inventory going missing or not receiving prizes from events. Say they are limited with their abilities so can’t put items back in inventory or give you correct rewards. All up with missing items and such this game owes me around $500 worth of items. And when talking to support staff you never talk to the same person twice. One person answers your email then you reply to them and you get another person answering you back so trying to talk to them is pointless and if you do have a problem with the game don’t expect it to be fixed. Accept the fact they are useless and you’ve been ripped off and move on. In saying that, I do still play at the moment but am getting close to giving up on it. Only thing that’s keeping me playing is that I’ve spent money on building my account and don’t want to waste it not because I think MZ are good at their jobs or it’s a great game.

Was great. Was a really great game in year 1-2 but after that constant updates left my friends in the dust and zeroed and quit with a bad developer who doesn’t listen to there fan base why would you want to install this? I spent close to 20k on this that’s how addictive it is don’t be a fool like me 😒

I do not see any kind of fair in this game anymore ,, group of people who can afford any buy offers by money who are controlling servers ,, I understand that it is war game but me and my friends we are thinking seriously to quit playing this game because there is no fair at all from group of people who destroy our joy and cities while we spend lot of time to play and all because they can buy and grow up quicker then came and fight to destroy as it is personal war ! I hope consider that,, we like this game to play it but if things still as it is then we do not have another choose except for quitting it because it is really sad thing to happen ,, we keep getting warning message from these people to be slave to them or quit this game even if it is not killing event ,, we haven't even bother them or do anything to them ,, we play this game for fun and enjoying our time, it is great game but it is really shame what happen because these people

Faceless money casino. I rate this as low as possible in an attempt to provide a realistic indicator of game quality. It should be a three. Don't be foolish thinking you will ever be competitive for less than $50 a week. In fact it will cost that just to shield yourself from supposed players who spend a lot more. Although it is well designed it is unashamedly designed primarily as a money making software. Don't kid yourself, play a round, but it is a crappy conclusion. The in game support is reminiscent of Microsoft "thankyou for your ticket, your feedback has been sent to developers for a review. Clearly a money grab. This game has nothing on true game console experience. It has a casino that runs all the time and is rigged to always pick the lowest prize. Don't say you weren't told. This game is not a game for children, it's for stupid adults designed to take as much of your money as it can. Yes!

Cheated and robbed with terrible tech support!. I downloaded the most recent update and like so many others I'm locked out of my account ever since. I use iPhone 6 to play this game and since the update I can only load 20% to open the app therefore I can't play the game anymore ... My months of hard work and $ building my city uptil now is out the window as my city sheild would have expired 2 days ago. The tech support is terrible they are trying to blame my ISP for the problem even though every other game on my phone works perfectly. Time to start being honest with the people and just acknowledge that it's your crappy update that is the problem.... I feel really upset about this and I want it fixed ASAP as well as everything I would have lost by now due to my sheild expiring. Without a doubt my city would have been destroyed by now and I expect to be reimbursed for everything or I will never play this game again! Your tech support is delayed they didn't get back to for over 12 hrs

Downgrading daily. I find that the developers of this game have no consideration for players of this game. Lately there has been constant faults, within the game as they try to rush out a ridiculous amount of upgrades in the name of profit above all other considerations. Not only are these upgrades over the top in price cost they also have major fault issues costing players 100s of dollars. They then refuse to compensate players for losses they suffer within the game. Lived the game and rated it higher but recent changes and the lack of adequate customer service have made it nearly impossible to enjoy my gameplay. This game costs an average of 3 to 4 hundred at least a week to keep moderately up to date. I also believe that the rating in here have been put in falsely. I have seen so many leave the game recently that I believe these ratings are being padded out to look better.

Too expensive. Do not download this game. It is highly addictive and to progress thru this game you need to be rich. It used to be fun being able to interact with other people however mz have been so greedy lately and have released an update at least once every two weeks when it used to be one update every three months. They don't care about their customers they have terrible customer service. All mz care about is money and they are going to continue releasing pointless Updates. Maybe if they listen to their customers they would try and fix the lag that always happens when kingdom vs kingdom events take place, or maybe making the packs a bit more affordable... But that will never happen because they don't care. Avoid this game at all costs, there are other games around that are like this and much cheaper. And to mz, you ruined a perfectly good game and I hope everyone stops playing it.

Adddddictive and costly. It is almost like Age of Empires. Great game and very addictive. Be prepared to spend, and I mean $1000s. Team work is the key and if you play smart you can win substantial amounts of in game gold amongst other things. Honestly I don't recommend this for kids or people not willing to spend as you are wasting your time and the time of serious players. If you want to truly reach decent power, make sure you put aside $1500 as a minimum once you get to Level 20, as that is truly the only way to get to T4 troop ability unless you are willing to wait years for you to win enough items and be able to research your highest Level troops. We have players in my team that have spent over $5000 in 18 months of game play. Most other games end up costing the same, but not as much fun with as much thinking, politics and strategy as this one. If you loved playing Age of Empires, Civilizations, War Craft then you will love this game. Don't forget to search game play tips.

Don't play unless you want to spend. When I first started playing, the game had challenges and monsters that were at different levels so you could grow and level up without spending lots of money. But the game has now become only pay to play. Literally. There is nothing interesting to do unless you are willing to spend $20-$200 every other week. No low level anything. I am at level 1000 and can't fight or do anything aside interactive because I don't want to buy the necessary packs to gain the ability to fight at the level needed. Seriously. This game is not fun. The only reason I still play is out of stubbornness because I actually caved a made a few purchases. I regret it now. I should have just quit. Oh, and the customer support is awful. They give standard responses that have nothing to do with your requests. That's if you get a reply.

Great game... ..but be prepared to be patient. With the introduction of events and coliseum, non-spending players had a very good way to catch up to pay players or at the very least get to a power level where you are not constantly scared of getting destroyed. You WILL need to spend money if you want to play this game. To put it into perspective Ive played 7months and only now am i comfortable about not getting attacked by a huge player. But the catch is that i was still only able to get where i am because of the new events and coliseums. Having said that, MZ have changed all the events recently (2 weeks now) and its no longer possible to do what i did. Good luck.

Not bad but could be better. I like the game how it is in one way but i would've liked if the treasury could've been opened when the players were at a low level like when the stronghold was at level one and for the expansions i think there more options on how to get the the masters hammer, sickle or shovel besides using the gold shop you could use the alliance shop or the players shop but outside of that it's a great game and maybe the players should have the right to have their city in more than one kingdom besides the kingdom that they started at but keep up the great work

Mr. The game is great one of the best multi player games I have ever played. The problem I have is that on Friday the 4th of September my iPad and iPhone automatically updated with the most recent patch released by MZ. And since then I have not had any access. I have sent many emails to customer service from their website to no avail. Not even a return email. The least you can do is release an efficient statement letting the thousands of players k ow what is happening. Some have invested time and money into this game. These people now helpless while their creations get destroyed because we can not defend them.

Very Expensive & Terrible Support. BEWARE!!! Any new players thinking about downloading this app. Initially it will start of fun as you start to build your empire but long term you will need to spend hundreds just to be somewhat competitive and thousands to compete to “win”. The game also glitches often so you risk losing everything you invested due to MZ incompetence. And when you ask Mz support for compensation you can MZ will give you some generic response pretending like they care... but they don’t!!!

Buyer beware. A year I have given this game, it was a little glitchy meh most games are, I thought I'd never get as big as the 100billion "bigs" in my brand new kingdom yet here I am a year later sitting at 3.54 trillion, you might think wow big, but with the ever increasing cost for packs and the new research, gear and building releases every other week I'm just as tiny as I was a year ago!! Wth was the point?? It's still glitchy.. I mean cmon now can't we fix that before we add new research trees???i just got halfway through finally finishing all research trees and good morning bend over here's another! Only this one will cost you something like 3mt that's 3 million trillion folks of each resource that's between 9 and 15 mt dependant on if all are used or just 3 types, this is for 1 level of one type of research! NOT the entire tree folks! Sooooo if you have reallly deep pockets like maybe your famous or an oil sheik then this is the game for you! Otherwise move along and pretend you weren't excited for a moment! I'm going to go cry now 👍 for the game that once was so much fun 👋

My opinion. I love this game a lot, I have friends and enemies in it and I love loosing and winning, it has helped me in thinking strategically and has helped me realise my capability. Ok I read people say this game is for spenders and I agree but I only agree to half of it. U see, spenders in this game have plenty of power but they lack knowledge and strategy which make them easy targets, for example a spender doesn't know how to counter attack in this game only professionals do. Now others say that this game's add is barbaric and I agree but that's media, game creators would do anything to get people to play their games. So the point of this is game is to claim the fire kingdom throne and to claim ur kingdoms throne and that's not easy, it will take time but it's the journey u should look forward to not the destination. People also say that the research take a long time, and that is so true, I think they need to shorten the amount of time for research and building but on the other hand they can't make it a short time other wise it would be easy. What I hate about this game is that you can't change location of ur alliance city and that u can't trade with other members. On the other hand it's a pretty fun game and addicting.

Absolutely ridiculous.. This game has potential to be fantastic unfortunately the amount of real money needed to play this game and get to a decent level is absurd. The game has many chat bugs and constantly crashes and often has to be deleted and redownloaded frequently. Mz are horrible at answering any complaints and proceed to ignore the glitches that occur and don't refund you anything if something not your fault has occurred. The quests have become so ridiculous to complete on a regular basis and the prizes are getting worse and worse. They often are not worth your time effort and money to complete. I have been playing this game for a year now in two different kingdoms and I only stick around for the social aspect of the game. Although there are many problems there too. It's very hard to have conversations with people as the translator will correct things to the most ridiculous phrases that are utterly incorrect.

Really great. I really like this game! It's easy enough to get into and pretty intuitive. Basically, most times if you think you want to do something they've mostly already thought about it and it's possible. The times to build, research and upgrade get longer and longer the higher in the game you go (even up to over a month to upgrade), but this is counteracted by your Hero points and can cut the required time into thirds. The purchasing from the gold store with real money is alluring, however once you have spent $6 dollars the next price jumps up to $24 and then astronomically to $64! You get similar things for the three very different price points and no option to buy at any other price point. I've spent over $400 on other games in 2 years by purchasing $12 and $13 dollar packs. It's much easier to afford. This is a big drawback for me, and I won't be spending anymore. The next price point is $130! No way!

Little to no player support. Very expensive game to play. Game crashes constantly which results in lose of items you either won in game or bought in packs. You email support constantly due to crashes and loss of gear on to receive lip service from their support. DO NOT START PLAYING THIS GAME

New players not welcome. No matter how many thousands you spend on your account.. you will NEVER be able to have what a maxed account has .. because those things are no longer available. you could buy the instant building sh 90 or sh100 etc.. but they do not include the research, that’s no longer available or the boosts the maxed accounts have bought over the time they had that account .. those boosts also .. no longer available. I downloaded 2 accounts .. one had blackmarket and the other didn’t . I msg them & they told me that their dealers were busy. And when I asked what they meant by dealers .. my account was blocked by them. So the only way into the game is by buying an account from someone. Which is risky . Now your invested .. and to keep your investment, you are forced to log in every hour at least 18 times a day to be at least relatable.. and some of these events consist of hitting a quest button 150 times .. i don’t know what it has to do with war .. it’s turned into a very expensive FarmVille where the same boring battle occurs every week and be expected to participate in these 24hr events or you’ll fall behind.. and be a liability.. and be prepared not to go to work Wednesday either as another 24 hour event is on those days .. and expect you life partner to give you ultimatums such as it’s either me or the game 😆 and expect to spend everything you have .. thousands and thousands.. and never achieve anything 😆 Yeah run away .. run fast 💨 run far 😆 before you either die alone and broke

Good game when played right. A lot of similar games, they just change the theme and a few game play rules to make them different but that said not all of them play well. So far this is a good one. If you like these games then its highly additive. For the first few days of starting you need to be on it as much as possible to get the best start for yourself, the slower guys will usually get picked on for resources. The next key thing is join the best alliance you can as soon as you can. You get these right and it'll work out well for you in the long run otherwise you'll be left behind and may find yourself stuck in a corner at this point it may be worth you taking what you've learnt if the game so far and starting again on a new kingdom.

Thank god I quit this game years ago. GEARED FOR THE BIG SPENDER...NOT FREE AND NOT WORTH THE AMOUNT NEEDED TO ACTUALLY ENJOY THE GAME... SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PERHAPS GET YOURSELF A NEW CAR WITH WHAT YOU SAVE FROM PLAYING THE GAME It is absolute insanity the way that MZ have run the game into the ground out of greed. So many updates needing to be purchased just so you can get a little ahead. Apparently all at the request of the 'players' smh. And don't talk to me about the massive increase in attack % stats without touching defense stats.. making trapping redundant.. We have all continuously made contact with Machine Zone (MZ) to only receive copy and paste replies with no guidance or real tether to what they respond with. It should also be noted that as soon as you do make a purchase, MZ go ahead and update within a few days, making said purchase pointless.. We feel our spending on this application has become fruitless at this point and totally not worth it.

Stay away. When you start this, you're kind of impressed. Great people to chat with, graphics reasonable, working your way up to head off to war. A great concept.... As it progresses it all goes downhill. For a game of war, you spend maybe 6 hours a fortnight in Kingdom vs Kingdom fights, and that's assuming you're in the right Timezone and don't get endlessly kicked by their servers. The rest of the time if you want to fight, you build, train research, then do it all over and over and over again. While it moved at a reasonable pace initially, now there's daily updates requiring big expenditure if you don't want to get killed in one hit. Add in that current new releases are so glitchy that nothing works like it's supposed to, and here you are. A game that takes forever to log in to, boots you out again in less than 5 min, and a support team that assures you nothing is wrong and everyone wants costly new releases every day...

Auto collect. Plz plz plz make a thing where you can press a button and it will auto collect the rewards from the empire quests because I just used a thing to make everything level 50 and I don’t wanna sit there for an hour

Don't bother. Money , money , money.. That's what you need to play the game successfully , not $100 but thousands of $'s . This game has potential, however the developers continually send generic emails to any user that has issues, and there are hundreds of them in the game, designed to do nothing but keep you from getting a real answer or solution of which they never deliver. They also on sell your email address and all game data to a "unlinked" website that charges you for any details you would like to know. Shame on them. To play the game you need to have access to 1000 of dollars, anything less and you will be disappointed. This is a big boys game. Also there own developers play the game and guess what, they kill anyone that gets close to being good or complains, or forms bands that don't buy continually. So the game is not fair in it's game play, and the developers wipe people out so they have to quit the game( and lots do) or pay more money to get back up,to there previous level.

Updates Needed....!. The premise of the game is built around you having to log in often to make the most of things. Hence when a software glitch occurs & you cannot load the game to play, it’s a real problem for the player. It can take months & often money to build up your troops to get you to a level where you can compete. Hence if you cannot load the game, you can lose all of that hard work. I have been working on gathering resources (30M silver) for my next big lot of research & there is a good chance I will have lost it all. This said most people can be quite understanding but when Machine Zone don’t let people know what is happening they are bound to get upset. A simple email out letting people know where it’s at would go a long way, but it’s been days & not a thing. People are understandably upset & have no idea if TZ is even working on the problem. I had an email back from them about the loading issue addressing resolution….what was that about, it’s nothing to do with what I had emailed them about. Since then, no reapplies to my emails…!

Game of war. Great game ,played for 4 months so far with out having to invest money I am at level 15 strong hold , Wen i first started I found it hard to get anywhere in this game till I learnt how to play takes a couple of days to understand how every thing works. Main tip I have is find a good alliance with a good leader and with players that want to play as a team I am with T4d great alliance .everyone helps each other grow stronger wen you don't have resources to build or train troops you ask your alliance members to help works very well as what go's around comes around , any way great game Lots of fun , like I said you don't have to spend money to play this game if you play the right way so don't believe the hype some things look hard but there really not Tim cs

Great game. For all those people saying you have to spend $1000 to be safe and if you don't log on in time for your shield you'll loose everything, you don't know what your talking about. I'm 14 years old and have spent $300 on the game. I play a trap style and I plan on not spending anymore money for the year. The gold from the kvk ke (third prize) is 40k and should last you a long time. Another way to earn easy gold is to get other people in your alliance to kill big monsters which tiles have gold. In my opinion you only really need to spend $200 to get kicked off and start fighting the bigger players. This game is amazing, love it, but plz mz make wall traps actually do something.

Expensive addictive nil support. Trust all the bad reviews. They are the truely honest ones. Anyone that gives this 5stars obviously aren't active reg players. It's very addictive but u can't do nothing without spending. Either spend big or take ages doing the long way collecting gold so consumed ur time a lot. No support from MZ what so ever. They only give u compensation for little things that suit them like there was a glitch they gave me back the 1 troop but when I lost 250k troops from glitch they said it's not their fault. Make sure u save the game register email otherwise they don't care u will never get ur money back or access again they want u to recreate account n spend more money they don't care about regular players MZ rather spend big on ads propaganda to entice new players that will spend heaps for getting wrapped up in new game. Rich players game. If you are not prepared to spend a minimum of $100 a week ($160 if you're Australian.. go Aussies!) to keep almost relevant.. then this game is not for you. People have spent thousands and thousands on this game but it is never enough. The game gets outdated at a ridiculous rate. The worry is that it's becoming less and less about. Tactic and skill and more about how much money you spend.. if you haven't spent thousands yet to be relevant.. then you'll get burnt They have taken away every chance of people to play if they don't have that $100 a week minimum.. can't gather.. barely any events.. you're resources production levels are laughable even at sh1135 .. it's no longer about skill. And with this new dimension they opened.. has killed the main game.. all kc are dead cause. Also you can't buy shields with gold so everyone's shields are disappearing and all you see on kc now is the few remaining players killing these dead accounts.. no conversations whatsoever.. sad how mz is killing this game that once used to be so much fun

Enjoyable pastime. So, I don't write reviews... Honestly. That being said, I saw the add for this app on Foxtel and decided that I had to give it a go. Still early days for me to give a solid account of gameplay etc, but what's will sayid that there is quite a lot of advertising in the app for selling in game gold etc. you don't have to buy it, so everyone whining about it... Don't... Just don't buy the gold and items etc. the other thing I noticed is that the game seems a bit choppy, like the phone is struggling with it. I am enjoying the game currently and look forward to spending some time levelling up. This is as good a game/time waster as many others spread out across the App Store. Give it a try and I'm sure you will enjoy it!

Don't wast your time. I wouldn't wast your time downloading this game as it is a money pit. my kids are sick of eating 2 minute noodles and potatoes so I can try (I do say try as mz release new content every other day) to play a game and have fun. I have come to terms with my spending on the game and have decided to stop playing. It was my kids who bought it to my attention as they were sick of wearing the potato sacks as shirts because the other kids would pick on them at school. And when I bought a bottle of tomato sauce to make their potatoes taste better their faces lit up like they just got the best present in their life. it was at that moment I thought to my self well Christmas presents are going to be easy this year. Honestly though avoid what once was a good game save yourself the effort time and money and buy a loaf of bread and some baked beans your kids will thank you for it and if they don't than download the game and let them see how good they had it.

Cash grab by developers -SHAMELESS. I used to love playing this game, but the developers have engaged in an obvious grab for player cash without giving anything in return. The game lags hideously when multiple players are online (when you're not kicked off, that is) and the developers rush to put out buggy updates which they charge through the nose for. If you want to be successful or even be competitive enough to enjoy the game, you'll need deep pockets that you'll be forced to put your hand into on an almost daily basis. I'd give it no stars if it were possible, purely and simply for how poorly the develop are treating players - we are customers, and we ask for nothing more than respect and value for money. There are plenty of other games to play out there, my advice to anyone considering this game is to go to them. Don't waste your time or hard-earned money here.

Too addicting. Been playing this game for 9.5 months. Started off nicely since boyfriend play this game before me & guide me through the beginning till now. Lots of changes which I'm really disapointed at. I'm quite lucky to start playing this game quite early since all the items are cheap, there is no coliseum, there is gift mode, things are $52 max and monster are just on occasional. What I hate now is the fact that there is no more gift mode which is a really really big loss for players who have feeders and play in more than 2kingdoms and if you are not patience, you need to embrace the fact that you have to spend grands of dollars to be one of the most powerful players since the cheapest gold bundle is $53 now and most are $110. Don't even try to play this game if you don't have the strong mental of being zeroed or patience if you want to be frugal. I only spent $50 in this game. It was more than half year ago which is imposible to do it now to get the bundles. Its a game that needs a constant checking on your phone and really takes lots of your time. I sort of regret download this game as its too far for me to stop and its a big distraction for your real life

Not happy. This is the second time you have updated the game beyond a lot of people’s game machines do you also have shares with iPhone,iPad so you can also get more money out of people to upgrade what they have the game was working fine till today and you put an update now I can’t get on the game

Pathetic Game. This game is extremely expensive. Unless you are willing to spend thousands of dollars do not bother playing. There are constant system glitches and errors made by the games developer MZ. When concerns are raised to developers all you receive is templated responses that do not address issues raised.

Pointless goals. Not sure why it's rated so high??!! There is no actual goal to this game unless you like FarmVille play style. And it can take forever to get nowhere. It can cost u $$$$. You can never bring down a high powered player even if u rally them with your allies (even if u have 1billion power). Game mechanics doesn't work that way. So why call it game of war when High powered player/alliance can own you or make u struggle to grow. The research will take forever if u don't have decent equipment plus speed ups which cost $$$. They have nerfed prizes u get and the events they provide can just be achieved if u have decent power. Ignore the advertising they made cuz u certainly can't build fast and your city will burn forever once u think u are getting somewhere. If I knew the above before playing I would never have started. Game of war is a quite unique game, I am a Stronghold 22 and I have had moments were there are nothing to do in the game if you don't buy anything because when you reach Stronghold 22 it gets extremely hard and the only way you can reach Stronghold 200 is by buying packs. Some people don't like that but I have always had hope and Game of War has aided me such as when I was Stronghold 11 I didn't know what to do and many other people felt the same way. Game of war responded by releasing the milestone research which boosted me and a majority of players power in my kingdom. Another time is the events when completing the milestone research you would gain a lot of points in the biggest events and you could do it around 5-10 times. I just want to say although it seems this game wants money of you, they actually give lower players a chance to catch up.

Have to spend $$ to get anywhere. Have been playing for a while it a fun game but you'll have to spend money to grow. The bigger players can be bully's which can make it very very hard to play and take a lot of the fun out of playing this game which it has done for me. with not spending money on gold to shield up and grow quick enough to protect your self makes it annoying to play at times.

I have uninstalled this game long ago because of how much this game relies on money to be able to get any sort of advancement. Money Grab. I used to love this game until it got to the point where you would need to spend thousands of dollars to advance. The developers kept adding new content which would normally be great but the big catch is that the items you needed to upgrade were only available in packs that you had to purchase at around $100 per pack. Which means for anyone that doesn’t want to spend to play it’s impossible to access the new upgrades that are constantly being added. So unless you have a healthy bank account you are willing to throw away in this game It is not worth wasting your time!

I can’t update. The game won’t start. I am screwed!. My iPad is stuck at IOS 12.5. So now my players are getting slaughtered. What do I do? Quit..... Everyone has quit playing. Terrible customer service. Absolutely the worse customer service and game support in the app world . After spending much money on this game over the years , they did a forced kingdom merge and sent my Alliance City into a different kingdom . As a result my alliance members can not access it. After contacting their so called customer crappy support , an acknowledgment said they would take care of it . 3 weeks later , absolutely nothing has been done and they keep giving me emails like they hope I go away . This was there mistake and a big one and they have not acknowledged it or even owned up to it . Terrible customer service. It’s a disgrace !! Do not download or spend a cent on this awful game . Total let down after so many years . Returned after years.. I had an account in 2015 an spent a few hundred dollars to upgrade building and research. After losing my tablet I had to go years without fire age. I returned recently and was awestruck at how broken the economy is, and how dead my kingdom was. A huge graveyard of hundreds of dead accounts. It’s sad to see the decline, the social aspect was one of the better things in the game. May be one of the best examples for years of what happens when profit is given more attention than the in game economy, player power gap and game updates. How much is MTTTT anyway? At least an in game chart would give players some kind of idea.

Used to be great. Back in the beginning this game used to be fun. My clan used to look forward to coming on every day and hanging out and doing a little battle with the other clan neighbors. Then everything changed and only big money players could get into the biggest fights in the kingdom of fire and day by day more people left. We all long for the days it was like it was in the beginning when it was one of the greatest war games out there. Sadly that game is gone.

Turned downhill really fast. I used to love this game and playing the strategy, it was my favorite, but it looks very cliché now especially compared to how awesome it looked before. The hero’s had a completely different look to them. The packs are so ridiculously expensive and I can’t imagine many people paying that much. As well as some of the new changes to pricing and gameplay. I understand updates need to happen, but I have to say it’s not the same anymore, and I would not play until they brought back some of the old game of war. It was my favorite game.

Not worth it anymore. I use to play this game when it first came out. I loved it then, you’d be able to buy packs here and there for 5 bucks. Now all of there packs are 100 and the packs are not even worth the money. All my stuff is 1100. And yet my hero is still at 138,775 power! I can’t even train any troops or do anything in the game unless I buy packs and that’s simply not fair! Bring back the 5$ and 20$ packs and make this game more fun for people trying to build there kingdom. A lot of the packs that are for sale are worthless they don’t ever have anything that you actually need. Like I said not worth 100..

This game used to be so fun. Played this game, and spent a very large amount of money and was ripped off multiple times, but I was hooked so I kept on with it using a trap account, I could trick the strongest players into attacking me and would still win because I have the perfect defense gear. Then one day I went from trapping easy hero’s, a release came out, and my account was zeroed in my best defense gear in one solid hit. The players had a revolt there was talk of a lawsuit, most of the major players left the game, it really sucked because it was a good game when updates were monthly, then they came every few days and no one could keep up with them unless they spent $300 every month.

Overpriced Used to be good. I started playing 3 months after the release. Loved every minute of it. That was back when if someone was 100mil power that they were HUGE! Most of the players back then didn’t spend a ton of money because the gold packs didn’t have a whole lot in them. It was a dedication game that all it took was time and effort to build and become powerful. Then they came out with gold packs with massive amounts of power ups and bonuses and people went nuts. The past 6 months the game has increased the amount of updates and upgrades that come with a hefty price tag if you want to conquer any super Wonder or mega wonder. Be Aware! BLATANT FRAUD and consumer scamming. I CAREFULLY reviewed and bought a specific game pack that had items I needed for my next upgrade for $99+tax. The pack that was sent to my account was DIFFERENT than what I selected, not useful and DID NOT contain the items I needed for the next upgrade. I contacted MZ support TWICE with the issue of not receiving the correct items. They REFUSE to help in any such way. They would not, credit, switch, reverse, or offer any compensation. They claim the purchase was successfully delivered to my game account and they can not alter it. They support requires me to spend another $99 to get the pack I originally selected in the first place and be stuck with the last pack for a total of over $200 w/ tax. This company is very dishonest and preys on its customers by sending them wrong items, then requiring them to repurchase again to get the items they wanted.

Don’t get me wrong, I understand the developers have to make money but, dang. The sheer amount of weird stuff they’ve put into the game just to get people to continuously spend money. Don’t bother unless you’re prepared to spend LITERALLY THOUSANDS to be competitive. Bought one pack to see what I could do. What a mistake. I’m still in disbelief people spend that kind of money on an iPhone game. What a world we live in.

GREED RUINED THIS ONE TIME GOOD GAME!. You will never ever ever catch up unless you spend hundreds of dollars. I was one of the top players at one time. I refused to keep funneling hundreds of dollars to them. And now it would take me over $600 if I even wanted to get anywhere near caught up. Ridiculous. And yes, I mean REAL money. Unless you're buying the $99 packs every week, you're screwed..you'll never catch up. You'll just have a bunch of buildings, research, and troops sitting around that you can't unlock. A majority of the games functions have to be bought. And you're lucky if they have a sale for $49. Just. Don't. Waste. Your. Time.

Mz account deleted. So i played for almost a year and then quit some friends talked me into giving yall another shot so i did redownloaded game and logged in to what was supposed to be my account and wouldnt you know yall deleted it a linked account that i put real money into all gone sorry but game isnt worth starting all over again and i wont be time to delete it all over again honestly yoi are still based on how much money someone can spend i spent well over what i should have and when i login now there is nothing to show for it so much for securing your account by making an mz account

Big hearts to the OG GOW. I was an early player and fell in love with this game, it was addicting no doubt. Sure I threw a few bucks at it but with some smarts, creativity, and a good alliance you could get and ahead and participate, just don’t go up against the big spenders, lol. Eventually the in-game economy became out of control with inflation so much that you had to pay to get anywhere, and the updates bloated the play and where impossible understand, eventually friends and kingdoms disappeared and the new ones didn’t have the spark. I wish GOW would do a massive game reset and remake, or maybe life goes on and we all have fond memories of the good old days…

Reviews are all ligit. I quit playing this after i got suckec in twice. Yeah we had fun when the game was healthy and alive. But at what cost? Thousands of dollars spent. I played with guys whod drop 5 grand in one shot and still not get a completed core gear set. It only got worse by making every cent spent irrelevant with every new drop. Twice a week. I saw people ruin their lives. Divorces when wives found credit card statements. Accidents cuz people couldnt put addiction down in the car. And financial ruin by opening and maxing new cards every month. The reviews are all ligit. Dont do it. Games community is dead now anyway

Dragon dimension. I played GoW fire age until It became to fast and glitchy. It was constant new drops and upgrades. Hi not catering to the big spenders(platinum players). When MZ came out with GoW dragon dimension lots of us started playing there because it was like the old GoW. The gameplay was more slow like the original GoW that everyone loved. But now it’s all about the platinum players and constant new drops. Game full of glitches and lag is crazy bad during events. MZ is losing players by the thousands daily. We have tried communicating with them but they don’t seem to care. I won’t be playing much longer if MZ doesn’t try to fix all the problems with gameplay. 😡

Hmmmmmm?. So I started at level 50. I’m rating 5 stars because that’s pretty dope, however, I would like to start from level 1. I have no idea what is going on in the game. I started out in an alliance, and it’s a pretty good one, but again, I have no idea what is going on. No one would help me. Some alliance. Please start me back at level one. Cool game, 5/5 stars.

This game got worse and worse. Not recommended unless you have a lot of money to spend. Even when you spend some money you're zeroed very fast by a player that's just a little over your level. After you spend weeks to build your troops and resources in one attack you're back to zero. No army no resources. In order to rebuild, you need double the time and money to get back at your previous level. Healing your troops it takes a lot of resources that triple or quadruple your time and money spent. My advice: stay away from this game. It's not a game anymore. It's a way to force you to spend money!

If you have money you win 💰💰. What I found is if you spend money for packs then you can advance. It doesn’t matter what you do in this game to move forward with events participation you cannot win unless you were a big spender and willing to spend at least $100 a week. sometimes it takes almost $500 to get one level of troops about $100 to get advancement on your hero. creators are doing the same as they did, and their last kingdom they’re pushing people away because they advanced to quick quickly with new equipment, heroes and troops. This game is definitely costly 💰💰

War. I love game of war I’ve been playing for years very addictive and the people that was in my alliance cracked me up I miss it I’m about to download it again only because I miss it when mz decided to take everyone’s power back down to 0 and redid everything broke my heart after all the time and money I put into it but like I said I love the game hopefully I can find my alliance

Fond memories before disaster. What was once a genius game has been ruined by the greed of machine zone unfortunately. When i started in 2017, this was one of the most open structure and fulfilling games. The game was making millions, and machine zone's eyes continued to widen like the grinch. They decided you cannot compete unless you spend $1000s(and understand, there will be enemies who have spent $20k on this game). The game began to completely favor and require you to spend a minimum of $200-$1000 to advance nearing the end. If you"buy" this free game--beware what you're getting into. 1 star

ADS are horrendous and P2W. Thanks for reading, it’s only my 2 cents. I played this game when it first came out. Yeah, there were some ads but it wasn’t that bad and you could handle it. I played for a few years and then got bored and deleted it I just downloaded the game again, March 31st 2020, and ads are everywhere. Literally everywhere. You barely can touch the screen without accidentally hitting an ad. You ever watch Ready Player One, and the villain is saying “we can put ads on 80% of the screen before they start having seizures” it’s literally that but this game. It’s horrible and I don’t recommend it at all

Mz read the reviews.. I loved this game for years. I started 1 month after the game was created, it was so much fun. The fun past about 2-3 years then it all changed. It was always about making money for MZ but it became to much too fast. And then demigod was introduced at it was all over. Mz please read all the reviews, I’m sure a lot of players would come back if game of war came back. I want to go back to hiding 100 dollars from my wife so I could buy a pack that would last 2 months with the upgrades. Or bring back my nerf calculator.

Players. I used to play this game for 1yr, cost me thousands of thousands $ to keep up all the update in order not to get burn and lost everything. They keep getting update and update and update and get more cost and cost. Unless your are very very very rich to play this game. Worthless for me and quit the game. Good luck for you

Unscrupulous game play. So now what we buy if not used by a certain period it will be taken away???? Not only do you all block some players from earning rewards. Most rewards from quests , Casino and events aren’t even relevant to current game play. So now you will disappear what we do get that might be relevant? This months so far in order to be able to play it requieres about $300 a day . And that is not even sufficient . The game cheats and steals from us. Too bad because the people who play the game many are great and why we want to play. There is nothing fair about MZ I have been robbed by the game from purchased items way too many times. Mz refused to give back ultimate bonus club , lifetime bugs and anything that’s good for the game , mz will steal from you if you don’t play everyday and spend over $1000 a week

What you Get:. The game is nice looking, until you get to the battle-grounds, where demons, or ugly creatures abound... I’ve played it twice, to about Level 15, which is where it starts to get nasty. If it didn’t reflect itself as a bad curse, continuing into the Real World, it might actually be a fantasy world, that was just for fun. But alas, it isn’t.

Lost all progress and had to start over. I haven’t played this game in a few years after I spent over $700 in one night while trying to compete and beat the Chinese millionaires with my alliance. Well I just updated it to where I can play again and it literally completely reset all of my stuff and I’m starting over again from the very beginning tutorial... not very happy about this and am not sure if I will be putting money back in to this one again. I spent a good amount of money while playing this game for it all to be reset. Don’t know how much in total but this is ridiculous.

Good but…. The devs seemingly don’t care about our input. As you can see basically no one has a developer response. This game is expensive to play well. I have trouble keeping up, and am constantly low power. I am a trap account that does well even without spending much, but if you can’t buy at least once a month you shouldn’t bother starting.

So much money. It takes so much cash to enjoy this game, if you can’t afford to spend you’re hard earned check on each week on just this game, then sadly it’s not the game for you. I last played 2 years ago and the updates/being required to spend tons of cash was crazy. I sunk probably 5grand into my account and one update later I logged on to find I was up in flames. Be warned. Once you spend any money on this game it turns into an addiction and you don’t want to stop. It will leave that bank account dry. I’d compare it with a drug addiction 🤷‍♂️ just turn away now. Mz is very greedy!

Was the best. In its heyday this game had one of the most loyal following of players. It’s said at 1 time there was around 6 million accounts on their game platform that were active. But like all things greed takes over on the part of the developers and now there might be around 10 thousand active accounts. I’ll say this at one time I was a top player but I’m not willing to spend the thousands of dollars it now takes to be competitive. And if you think you’ll be a really competitive player just remember the developers also play this game and they don’t pay for their purchases. So you are already on the losing side of it to begin with.

I’d go no stars if I could. Played this it this game way back when it first started, decided since I was home and have lots of time that I’d download it and see if it was better or worse. Should have remembered why I left the first time. So there’s no actually way to contact MZ (big surprise 🙄) and I can’t upgrade anything past lvl 30 no idea why - but it takes my gold and shows it’s building and then it disappears, took my gold too, about 8.5M and since I can’t get in touch with MZ I’m thinking I’m pretty much s.o.l on getting it back. I remember why I left before, sad that it’s only gotten way worse.

Just Don’t!. If I could go lower than 1 star I would. This game was my first online game and I was naive to say the least. Thought I could play for $50, splurged and started spending $50 here, $50 there, then it required $100 here and $100 there, after thousands of dollars the game kept advancing requiring several hundred a week to keep up and I drew the line. This is a money pit from Hell! Don’t start, there are much better games out there for less and you can certainly spend your hard earned dollars on a house, car, retirement, college, etc.

Game is but performance and glitches are major issues. I have played for years. It’s true that it’s free to play, but requires you to buy packs to keep current. Every time something is added, glitches in the game follow. Lag during major events, glitches, no notifications, and cost are big negatives. Every time they add something new, requires buying many packs to achieve. Packs cost for packs is ridiculous at $99 each. Don’t recommend game to new players. Spend money on tangible objects!

Short and simple. Cash grab, money cow. All the 5 star reviews are fake or from the millionaires that still play. I spent over $10,000 on this game during my prime playing days. I played for over 4 years. If you don’t have this kind of money to continue to keep up with the constant updates then stay away. This game isn’t made to have fun and kill time. Don’t be an idiot thinking you can manage spending money on this game and stay relevant. Utter complete garbage.

Game Of Wwwhat’s your credit card info?. This game is the epitome of “pay to win” games. In fact this game goes so far with it that a more accurate title for the game would be Game of War - Fire Age - Give Me All Your Money Cause If You Don’t Spend More Than $500 A Month On This Game You Can’t Do ANYTHING!! When constructing things it will literally take millions of days. DAYS!!! You can’t build anything without using speed ups and it’s insanely difficult to find speed ups just naturally through playing. I highly recommend this game if you’re 17 and just sold your first business to Google for $700,000,000. Otherwise don’t bother with it.

Not worth it. There was a time when game of war was the game to play but because of how greedy the developers were they crash it ,with their every week updates new tiers of troops ,hundreds of heros, with literally centuries of real time research time not putting into account all the resources it takes to do a research,I played gow and like it but I got tired of its greedy developers and left, spend lots of money training and develop my castle just to have one (1) single troop kill all of mine trillions of trillions of troops plus (18,000,000,000,000) ,that was 2 years of work in my castle was gone in a couple of seconds that’s why I would not recommend this game

6 year veteran. As a player of game of war for 6 years I can say ive not seen everything but I’ve seen enough to say the game used to be good until MachineZone became money hungry there used to always be packs at all price ranges $20 or $100 since demigods came out I’ve rarely seen $20 packs mostly all $100 if you have money to blow Recommend you spend it on other stuff unless you really want to have a chance which having a chance at succeeding cost BIG $$$ like 10s of thousands if you just want to play for fun and not spend go ahead though plenty of alliances are willing to help

Wow. I can’t believe people are still playing it. You have to be crazy or just a plain loser to keep spending on a game that the creators of it doesn’t have the best interest of their customers. No matter how many times you complain to them they just keep coming out with more and if you don’t spend you will lose all the money you invested in it with just one attack. I remember when guys would build crazy traps with half a pack. This game is crazy!! If players will just come together and boycott until things change but that won’t happen

Poorly advertised products.. I recently made a purchase on this app, a habit I don’t recommend getting into. I was made to think that I would be receiving special rewards along with the specific items listed in the pack but I received no such thing in the game. I contacted mz to ask about a refund and am waiting now for a reply so my review may be subject to change. This is not my first purchase and might not be my last if it is handled accordingly. I do enjoy this game but if the developer thinks that it is appropriate to mislead it’s followers I will no longer be a part of GOW.

Don’t ever play this game. I was an avid player for five years. At the time, it was fun and addictive. However over time, the company became so money hungry to a point where you pay your life savings for a pack which is not even worth the money anymore like how it used to. The community is toxic, and most of the alliances won’t help you unless you have deep pockets. Over time, MZ has made it difficult for anyone to win and less enjoyable for everyone who has played the game including myself. Therefore if you want an enjoyable experience and be able to afford paying your next bill, don’t download and stay away from this game.

VIP. I recently returned to the game after not playing for about 5/6 years and I was able to access my previous account yeah me. However I am unable to increase my heroes vip because I need ultimate VIP points that aren’t offered in any available packs and I can’t use the points I already have because their for demigod. I would love to continue playing but if I can’t get this resolved then this will be my last attempt playing this game

Stayed playing this game when the highest sh was a 35 then it jumped up and we all had to pay to keep up then it jumped several more times and each time more and more of player I used to carry on with dropped out and when there is an issue MZ is quick to pass the buck or no response at all. I have invested to much $ and time to just totally delete the game but I rarely play any more I found another E)very V)iew. O)f N)ew Y)ears seems to be a better place to hang with friends from around the world

Trash game, entirely pay to win. I had a decently strong account with max level normal troops which itself cost a bit to create. After taking a break from the game and coming back I found that all my troops were removed, and all the purchases up till that point were essentially useless. The “new” demigod units were all that’s left to use and guess what? They require a 100$ dollar purchase to unlock. That is to say this game has always been pay to win and now you can lose items you earned in the game at any point when Machine Zone decides to replace them with a new more expensive alternative.

All about $$. I played the game for over a year and one thing became abundantly clear: The players who spend more money do better in the game. This game will eat you alive unless you spend thousands and thousands of dollars. Seriously. The upgrade packs are at least $100 each. And you’ll need hundreds of them just to catch up. You’ll need hundreds more to keep pace with other players. It’s a black hole for your money, that’s it. Impossible to be successful unless you pay big bucks.

Was good until.... Was one of my favorite apps ever made until before I had spent quite a few dollars then Machine Zone put a quit on the game and reset it and I lost my account and all that money was basically lost. Now I come to play again and I gotta start all over again with nothing reimbursed. Now they have all this new stuff and things are even more pricey then before. I’d like something from MZ after what they did and change it back to before..

Waste of Money. Everyone who gave this game a favorable rating is very likely an MZ employee or a millionaire who doesn’t mind spending thousands of dollars a month playing. I played this game couple of years back. I am a little ashamed to admit but I spent a lot of money. I did have fun while being top dog but eventually you realize that the game is Bs. Horrible costumer service. They cheat on packs. By the time they reply to your emails you will get old and have gray hair. I will say that the game had a lot of potential if MZ had managed it better. Now they got lots of money years back. But they won’t anymore.

Poor Customer Service. This game is a pay to play at its finest you must drop thousands of dollars to even stand a chance. Then if the game has a glitch and does something it’s not supposed to the customer service will talk down to you and treat you like your an idiot and will do nothing to fix the issue that their game caused. It’s a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself and do absolutely anything else with your time and money heck you can set your money on fire and it would work better than this horrible game.

The real game of war. I’ve have had an account for close to 10 years, when I first started playing it was a cool game. I started my own alliance and it got pretty big, it was fun. but it’s become a money trap, you don’t pay you don’t get very big. I recently got the alliance back and received some million-billion level 5 demigods who were killed by a million demigods without them losing 1 demigod. How you might ask because the other player had poison, and without paying for the anti-dote no luck. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME

Childhood. I have not played this game since 2016, I never spent a penny on this game, but I did have fun talking to people there, seeing the reviews of 1 stars, I will give 5 stars for this game being in my childhood, quote me if you want, hate me if you want, my opinion will not and I mean WILL NOT change, this was a part of my childhood and I had some pretty good friends, it’s a shame this game had to take a huge nosedive!

Some game. Not. After playing Game of War for a few weeks it becomes obvious that this is first and foremost a money generating scheme not a game. The add ons, time to produce items, point requirements all drive a player to buying more extremely over priced gold. Cost of items for anything vaguely useful is through the roof. If you choose to purchase gold from their "specials" more than likely you will get an iTunes connection error and not be able to purchase anything. Woe to the individual who gets sucked into this “game”.
