Excellent. This has helped me a lot in my trip planning. I hadn’t been on public transportation in years. I am liking this app a lot. Keep it up!

Upgrade. I didn’t know where I was doing on this stupid app I hit upgrade I deleted it now while it’s going to let me do is in the App Store download a app that I have to pay for why do I have to pay for it that’s stupid

Doesnt work. I wish the app that is supposed to tell you the time the buses come to a stop, actually told you what time the buses come to a stop. I can guess the time more accurately than this app. App needs more work. For instance, when you type in a stop number it should give you the next stop time. But it seems to prioritize times 5 hours later.

Ads, did I say this has ads?. Way too many ads and prompts to remove the ads, oh look another full page ad, I really couldn’t try out the functionality, oh look another ad, since there was no way to really, oh look another ad to remove the ads, check it out due to all the, oh look another ad.

New feature: paying for ride planning. This app used to be free but now they make you purchase tokens to plan a trip so all you can do is see the times, about as useful as paper bus routes so get the metro transit app instead where it’s free and you can pay your fair via phone

Horrible. This app is awful. CONSTANTLY shows an error message when trying to use the trip planner. “Over Query Limit”... have tried to contact developers to no avail. AVOID!

Transit Tracker. This app is good showing departure times. But sometimes, they’re not on time. Most of them either comes late or before the exact time. Thanks.

Less useful than just looking at the bus schedule. Spent 45 minutes and 3 inaccurately predicted buses trying to get into work, until I just looked at the .pdf bus schedule from the internet, all without the convoluted menus and ads.

Bus 🚌 schedule not in *NSYNC with bus arrival time. Bus shows up late ⏰ or earlier or not at all! But I depend on the bus 🚌 to get me to work and back home! Just ok 👌

☹️. Purchase tokens like getting on the bus. Thanks for making space on my phone after I delete your very useful app.

Easy To Use. As long as there is clear weather, bus service has been on time.

Gabrielle. Times are never on schedule with the bus . I have been standing in the cold waiting on the bus that said it ran every 15 mins when indeed it was coming every 30 mins

Too many pay features. What should be a basic feature, route planning is a pay feature

Love this app. I’ve been using this app for years and it has been my savior! I was sad when it stopped working and ended up reaching out to the developer who explained to me what happened.(thanks google 🙄)I downloaded the new version, purchased tokens & I’m back in business. It’s stinks it’s no longer free, but in my mind I’m not using it everyday and it’s not like it’s a crazy amount of money. I’ll happily help support the app that’s how much I appreciate it.

Wrong info constantly. This app is worthless. Said the route started at 9:10am, ran to my bus stop only for it to change to saying the route begins at 9:15am. So glad I ran to the stop. (No it wasn’t late). Not user friendly at all either. I’ll continue to use one stop away.

Keeps insisting an update is needed but no update loads. This was a great app but, I need to use it today and it is not displaying any information and telling me it needs an update but it just keeps taking to the App Store. Frustrated and I am not sure I can trust this once useful app.

Doesn’t work for Amtrak. I’m in Charlotte and the map shows Atlanta. Tried to search by train number, it says. I thing found. I’m on the train, I think I found it.

Pay to Route. I’ve been using that app for over a year now. I only had the free version and the ads were fine for the most part. There were bugs and times the app would just freeze. Or tell my there were no routes available despite this route being a place I go to daily. I’m giving it a one star review because it’s Bad Business to make people pay “tokens” to just find a route. Regardless of weather I’m taking the bus or not. There’s plenty of apps and even Goggle now offers this service. Nobody’s charging people to find routes because it’s ridiculous. I’m downloading another app and deleting this one. A free app.

Never works!!!!!!!!!!. It will always say not working then I have to redownload it a bunch of times just to keep an eye on the schedual then will ask for purchase. Hate this app

Not working. What’s up with the app it hasn’t been working the last two days really depends on this on daily basis. Fix now!!!

Author got greedy. I bought the pro and been using it for a year or two. Now the last update you are required to purchase tokens for each search. The app is relatively useless without spending extra money. Don’t support this developer.

Pro upgrade not useful. I thought this app was cool so I bought the full version but the app constantly tells me to buy it again and won’t restore the purchase. When I try to buy it again it says it cannot connect to iTunes. I finally gave up after getting a new phone and resetting everything because even that doesn’t work.

Not cool. I am not understanding why I have to pay for an ad free app but then on top of that pay for tokens. That’s just stupid if you are paying for an ad free app it should come with how ever many times you want to look a route up. It’s a complete rip off when you have to keep paying for something that should already come with it.

Paid for full version - still have ads. The information seems to be up to date but I paid for the full version and it won’t get ride of the ads! Can the developers help please???

Does not report nearby departures.. This app does not show the next scheduled departure times. Something is wrong with it.

Great option to MetroTransit app and others. I paid for the full version (no adds) and couldn’t be happier. The options for saving regular routes, locations, or recognizing your location are easy to use and accurate (as can be with MetroTransit GPS). It’s very fast and reliable.

Upgrade gone. I upgraded for ad free, but since the new update, my upgrade is gone. I don’t want to buy the upgrade again, but I need to save my stops

Nope. Not going to pay for tokens. Wow. I honestly can’t believe that I have to buy tokens to search a route. That’s utterly ridiculous. I will find another way to search for routes. I wish I could give it 0 stars because this app is utterly useless.

Useful but buggy. This is the best bus tracker available in my area. However, around 1/4 of the ads featured on it have no way to exit out of them (no “X” to click; “close” button does nothing; ad doesn’t disappear no matter how long you wait) which often means you can’t get to the information you want.

App Doesn’t Work for Me. I used to use this app quite often and had no problems. But now (for example) it tells me that it would take over 12 hours to take light rail from the Federal Center to Union Station at 10am on a weekday. That doesn’t help me.

Useless. App only shows you next day times. I need to know what is coming now. Stupid. It used to be awesome and helpful having what train is coming near you, now it’s completely useless

Keeps freezing. I have relied on this app for over a year and love it except that starting two days ago when I click Trip Planner it freezes up every time. I have deleted and re-downloaded it and it’s still happening. Please get this fixed ASAP.

Great except when I have to restore purchase. Why do I have to restore purchase at least once a month. Very annoying to check for a schedule and find out it has reset to Minneapolis and wants to show and add before I can check my schedule. When it works it’s great.

Only shows Portland, OR. I was hoping this would have Salem (almost 200k people & the State Capital), but all I can see is Portland.

The App’s Gone Wonky Again. The was working fine yesterday, but today (Wednesday) it said that the next bus wasn’t scheduled to arrive until Saturday. (Please note that bus service was NOT actually cut.) This has happened before about 3 months ago and I had thought the issue had been resolved. Nope. I respectfully request that you fix the issue if not for those who aren’t familiar with the Minneapolis transit system.

Ads dont work. When i have to open and close and ad 4 or 5 times before it shows a bus time. I usually just give up. If youre going to make EVERY bus have an ad, at least make the ads work

old relic. This app used to be consistent and great. Now it constantly freezes and says “route over limit” or “query” or “route not found.” Never works consistently and is very frustrating.

Maps, with micro transactions!. I paid for the full version of this app for my area, the latest update has added a ‘tokens’ system which requiems additional payments for route planning. Don’t install this parasite on transit systems.

Not accurate. I download this app because I need the information of the bus stop to avoid freezing in the snow! And is not accurate at all!!! My bus route is having a detour and now one update the information!!! So mad

It’s not the best. It doesn’t give the right information

Since the pandemic. This app went downhill and very inaccurate!! I can’t work the other apps so I guess I’m screwed!!

Very Buggy. Has wiped out my saved stops more than once. Frequently doesn’t show soonest upcoming departure times. This used to be a very good app. Sad. Looking for a better one.

Does not perform basic function. We are in a period of contagion; routes and schedules have changed but this app continues to use the boilerplate schedules from two years ago. I relied on the app and it caused me great pain as I was waiting for conveyances that never showed as they were not on SEPTA’s COVID altered schedule. I have reached out to the developers twice; they have never responded or more importantly correct this flaw. They have the nerve to change for this app. The developers should be ashamed. This is outrageous. UPDATE THE SCHEDULES.!

Transit Information. I love this apt. It helps me get me to where I want to Go!

Useless. I upgraded from the old app, since it kept showing times at 4 am. No improvement at all. Useless bus system. Useless phone app.

Frustrating and useless. I am trying to find routes that service a specific location and then want to look at those routes to determine options of where I would like to start my trip. Trip planner is useless for this since I don’t have specific times and I only have an end point. I would spend $1,000,000 and untold hours trying every option from every long term hotel to the project location I need to basically commute to. But this app is entirely useless for this. It is easier to buy a car and use it for the 9-18 months I will be in this particular city and deal with the hassle of doing all that than it is trying to use public transportation in central Ohio. What a waste. I would happily pay for something to help me with this type of conundrum. But alas...I guess I will be planning to Uber from the airport to a used car lot instead. There really is something wrong when buying a car to use for a year is easier than using public transportation.

Very easy to use!. I love using transit tracker for the soul reason that I can never miss a bus stop. Very easy to use and always on point.

Deceptions. This does not give where Amtrak is currently on route. You have to buy tokens to see where train is . Don’t buy waste of your time

Ads over tokens. The app would be better if the developers hadn’t demanding you to pay tokens every time you use the Trip Planner. Luckily, I found an app that does the exact same thing as this one does, except that it is much more polished, and costs absolutely nothing

App navigation is very frustrating. App navigation is very frustrating

FIX THIS PROBLEM. Thought this was the Minneapolis/st Paul transit tracker, now it says Atlanta and won’t change. Please fix this.

Very good.. Essential for the committed commuter and/or transportation activist.

Fairly good. I love this app. Except it freezes mostly every time I try to switch back from other app to this. I use this everyday but it needs to get an update. Freezes almost every time I use it. Please come with an update !!🙏🏻

The updates are making this App worse. Impossible to search for routes, previous versions were a lot easier to search. Only works if your standing right at your bus stop, and I don't like scrolling through dozens of bus stops to find my route. I feel like past versions were more accurate as well, times seem off.

WORTHLESS. The ads are so invasive and impossible to exit out of that it makes this app completely worthless.

The future is bright. Pretty good app. Nice interface. Easy to navigate. Bus times are usually unreliable though. Here are some of my wishes for future updates. -choose final destination on map rather than trying to type in a perfect address. -view real-time location of bus. Times given are sometimes incorrect or will say "one minute" and after that minute refresh to say "two minutes". If I could see where the bus was, I could make a pretty good educated guess on when it will arrive. This would probably be a strain to view all bus locations in the metro but to somehow single out only a particular bus might be easier. -save locations to use as destination points in the future. It would be nice to save a current location without typing in any specific address that could be accessed when planning a trip later on. That's all. I think this app is a very good step in the right direction. Hopefully in the future buses can speak to the app more frequently to give more accurate arrival estimates.

It works!. Not an amazing app as it keeps trying to ask me to upgrade to the paid version. That being said the app is easy to use and for the most part the times are accurate.

Best I've Found. I moved from Evanston IL, which has much better public transit & apps. This is the least frustrating app I've found do far. Addition of a trip planner feature would be great. Google's trip planner is not always accurate.

Worse app. Outdated layout. Ads come on and don’t give you an option to exit. Lags. Worse app ever created.

Good... Could be better. Overall the app is great and so far accurate. Which the bus times were in order of when they are due- there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason- not by time or bus number... A miss for sure.

Trip Planner!. The Trip Planner alone is worth the buck. It not only shows the bus stops, but gives directions to the first stop from my location and - even better - directions to my destination after the last stop (including times, which are optimistic in the snow). I don't care when the next bus is coming - I want to know how I can get downtown by 9:00 tomorrow morning. Now I know.

Worth paying for. Best metro transit app ever. All the features one could need and the timing is accurate. I don't always know where I should catch the bus home, but this app tells me. Love!

Twin Cities commuters deserve better. Not a completely useless app, it did offer fairly accurate times for Blue & Green Lines. Not so accurate with MVTA routes. I would double check the app against the website if you can - and go with what the web offers. Hopefully a better option will come from Metro Transit in the near future.

Better than other apps. Quick and easy to use, but the timing is usually off by more than a few minutes. But otherwise it's an incredible app. The trip planner is the best I've used

Finally the government stopped tracking us. Finally they added turn on location services only when app is opened instead of tracking all the citizens who have this app all the time whether you are using this app or not.

Fix bug. I know yall lying this app keep frozen up on me, every time I open it up

Pretty good but will kill your battery. I like this app. But it runs GPS constantly which means you will find your battery dead quickly additionally often the ads will crash the app or make it so that when checking times you can't see them in a timely manner.

Late arrivals. Needs to improve the time on showing for stops, always behind by 3-5mins🤦🏿‍♂️

Somewhat helpful. This app is pretty good but fairly difficult to search for a specific route number when it has a letter in it. For example when I search for the 74s I can only see the 74 & have to open multiple 74's to find the one that I want. I also can't search for a specific bus. :-/

Adds block the content. If you're in a hurry, having an ad block the entire app for several seconds without being able to close it is very frustrating. Free version NOT recommended if you ever end up in a situation where you need to access information quickly. App is otherwise nice, but not worth the $6 upgrade just in case you're in a hurry.

Best Transit App for the Twin Cities. It does everything as advertised and operates quickly and smoothly. I love that it's designed with a local focus unlike other apps which are made to operate in multiple cities and can be somewhat complex to use.

Let somebody else drive.. I have been using the bus and light rail quite a bit this summer for going to Target field, U of MN, and recently the state fair 2017. I live in East St. Paul. The light rail is a beautiful thing, very impressed.

Used to work great, what happened???. I was using this app almost every day, especially to get to work. Now when I plug in my cute t location and where I'm going, it pops up "no routes." Very frustrating. I've tried deleting and re downloading and making sure my settings are correct but nothing seems to help. Someone get on this asap please!

Live features do not work. This app gives you a general idea when buses should be arriving but Ive almost never had the correct line of the bus match up with the app. Texting gives you a better idea of what bus is coming next and when.

Pro upgrade a rip-off. I bought the pro upgrade to be able use the widget to view upcoming departures at my saved stops from my lock screen. It turns out, however, that the widget only displays scheduled departures. You have to unlock the device and open the app to be able to view real-time info.

Trip planet cost money now. Not free, trip planner cost money now.

Great Convenience for Frequent Bus-Riders!. Make sure your location services are on ! : ) Most of the time it automatically gives real-time info on expected bus arrivals, even notes if a bus is running late. If the app isn't sensing where you are correctly, or doesn't show your route, it's super easy to enter manually (whether you're standing at the stop or just planning ahead). And, all the info you refer to most can be bookmarked for easy access later. Makes bussing much more convenient!!

Unusable. Their original crappy ad suggested this app. It’s totally unusable for anyone in Utah. You cant select that area.

Doesn't work with update. I attempted to use transit tracker yesterday, only for it to tell me that I needed to update the app in order to continuer to use it. So, I updated it... And now it doesn't work. I tap the icon on my home screen, it opens for a couple of seconds, and then closes itself and brings me back to home screen. I don't know if this is a ubiquitous problem or specific to me, but it's extremely annoying.

Very usable and helpful!. Very usable. I am an infrequent MetroTransit bus rider, so when I use the bus or rail system it's always a different route, and always a situation like "How do I get home from my current (GPS) location?" or, if I am planning ahead, "What is my nearest bus stop to home and which bus line and pickup time at my local bus stop do I need to use in order to arrive at a certain downtown location by ?" Oh, and what's the name and location of the stop where I get off the bus in downtown? This app, compared to others, makes it easy to look up answers to those types of questions. I would compare it favorably in terms of ease-of-use to using Uber's app. I am finding, just for myself, I am using this app more often and Uber less because it makes mass transit almost as convenient to use as Uber, and of course mass transit is significantly less expensive. To the devs: nice job focusing on making the app easy to use for common use cases people need to perform!

This is a piece of doo-doo!. This app doesn’t do anything that Miami-Dade ‘s app can do. Whatever happened to the Where’s the bus feature?

Nano seconds. I'm about a minute from the bus stop and have literally walked up and the bus is rounding the corner. Real-time and will also let you know if the bus is running late.

Awesome. Magnificent

Worse tracker ever. Inputs data from bus schedules only. Doesn’t really track the current status.

Longtime User. I loved using this app until now. They charge you to use the Trip Planner and that is all I use. Very disappointed.

Sad sad. Sadly this app directs to escort services. Happily my bank caught this and stopped payment. Beware!

Completely inaccurate. I can't even tell if my train was 4 minutes earlier than it should've been or if the trains are running behind by 7 minutes. The ads are awful and they want you to pay for premium for no ads, I spend enough money on metro transit only to get to work late. I don't need this waste of space on my phone.

Awesome app! Great support!. My go to for transit. Frequently updated and fixed. Spot on with times and amazing support. It doesn't get any better than this. Only one suggestion, add real times for the light rail like you already do with the buses.

Needs improvements. Crashes, shows wrong area for where I am, doesn't seem to know address that I am trying to travel to.

Waste of my money!. I can’t get the app to work on my Series 3 Apple Watch. How about fixing the issue.

Tracking. This is not a good app for tracking. Very herd to understand

Not as useful as metro website. On first use I noticed: App does not allow "arrive by" choice. This means you have to guess what time you might leave to get to your destination. I wanted a trip plan for Monday (bought Thursday) but was only allowed to plan ahead to Saturday. Sorry I paid for this app. One positive: App has location tracking so that is easy to choose as departing point.

Not too useful. With some work you can find a station and its schedule but the trains are usually off by ten plus minutes so the time countdown it shows is way off. Tonight it said I had 11minutes to next train, but tested it by going out to the stop outside my building ( 1 minutes walk) and there were 2 minutes left. Also the location it shows for your location and the closest station are usually far off so you have to find the station yourself.

Worth the $. This app has helped me catch the bus right on time consistently. Just yesterday, when we had a high of like 5 degrees, I had to wait at the stop for at most one minute, saving me some chilly toes. Only issue is that some of the lesser-used express buses aren't accurate yet. Solid app.

Obnoxious ads. You don't have to buy the non ad version but the ads they've put in constantly pop up full view and the small ones get hit accidentally often. Unfortunate for a public transportation app. Functionally decent app.

Broken. I've used this app for awhile and it used to be great! I could follow my progress and I loved that it showed you which side of the street to catch the bus. For the past month or so, however, the app has become pretty much unusable. It crashes all the time, often not even letting me open it. When it does open it moves incredibly slow. This app used to be so much more reliable than Metro Transit so I'm really upset that it's gone so far downhill

Good app. Everything is great. Except there's one major flaw which hinders the whole functionality. When searching for a bus route # such as the 9, the results ask you to chose a specific letter (9a, 9b, 9c, etc...) instead of searching for all of the incoming 9 buses. Having to manually search for the letters individually can be very time costly. And risky if you aren't sure which route letter is going to your destination. The fact that you can track you bus is extremely practical but when searching a bus number route things get complicated. Please fix so that search bar processes route numbers and shows results of all route letters chronologically. Thanks!

Awesome app. This is an excellent app. It finds where you are and tells you what metro transit lines are nearby. You can plan a route or look up specific lines to see where they stop. Best of all for me, a visually impaired user, the app works well with voice over. Keep up the good work. With my iPhone and your app, I feel like I can go anywhere.

Useful information in the palm of my hand!. I love this! We just had a big snow storm and the busses were running late. How late? If I know, I can decide to rent a car2go and get a jump on my 2 bus commute to the suburbs. With this, I can see where the next bus on my route is, and decide for myself if it is worth waiting for. The bus position isn't updated in real time, but maybe every few minutes. The Metro Transit Next Trip site uses this data, but they do some funky calculations to estimate when the bus is going to be there. This lets us see where the bus was last reported at, which is better. I've only used this once, so we'll see how it handles my expectations from here. Update: I've used this for a few days now and I still really like it. The thing I like best is that it answers questions like "Did I miss the bus?" and "How much longer before the bus arrives?" I just got done watching a late bus arrive with a 10 minute countdown. It arrived 15 seconds earlier than the countdown estimated. Update (a few weeks later): this replaced all of the Metro Transit Next trip sites I had bookmarked. This app makes me prescient, plus or minus one minute. At least as far as busses are concerned.

Bud. 👍
