Beyond spectacular! - This app is so fantastic- as with many other reviewers, I've tried other budgeting apps like Mint. But this is the only app that actually works. It incentives me to spend less money on some days, have extra to spend on the weekends. Thank you for not adding too many bells and whistles!

Life Changing - I am the WORST with finances and I've tried other apps, including Mint, which I used for a week and quit. But this app?? It's amazing. I can't speak highly enough of how much this app is getting my life together. I'm aggressively saving, paying off all of my bills and I know exactly what I get to spend a day. I will never NOT use this. I hope it's here forever.

Helps you be Accountable - This app turns my financial life into a game that I feel I can win. Daily Budget really works and it's core design sets it apart from other apps.

THE REAL DEAL. This app is amazing. I've tried SO many different apps for budgeting and none of them even come close to comparing to this app. This app is so well organized and so detailed. I love all of the categories and that I'm able to keep things separate that I want to keep separate. It even has a feature that helps you save up for big expenses you know are coming up (like Christmas, or summer camp payments, or tuition)! It figures in how much you need to save in a certain amount of time and adjusts your daily budget for you. I spent the money to have the full version of this app and it is absolutely worth it. I'm a college student who needs a simple budget that tells me exactly how much I'm allotted to spend each day in order to save a certain amount of money. This app is top. Get it. You won't regret it.

Finally getting my budget together. This app is exactly what I need in my life to get the budget I truly need. There’s a few features I would love to see in the app though just to make it that much better. First of all some sort of refund feature so you don’t have to put something as extra income when you get the money back for it. Also perhaps a way to input a range of what your next projected paycheck will be and edit it to the exact number once you get it. Most people are not payed the exact same amount every week and we could have a few hours of overtime or a few hours less than projected. I know we could just go back and edit it, but having an idea of the range and being able to plan accordingly for it would take the guess work out of our budget that creates gaps we didn’t plan for.

Very helpful and easy to use.. I have only been using this app for about a week, but I already feel a great sense of security and pleasure knowing how much money I have to spend on myself, how much I am saving, and how much goes to bills. This app is very easy to use. I have already spoken with the developers about this, and their response makes sense to me. I asked them if there was a way to budget for groceries or gasoline, common items that I will guaranteed be purchasing every month but will have a different price every month. I wanted to budget myself an amount of money to use that month, then subtract from that fund every time I made a purchase in that category, allowing me to see how much I spend in that area, and better planning for the next month, AND potentially saving the extra budgeted money. The developers let me know this would make the app just. Bit to complicated, and they did not want to see it in their app. I completely understand them. I will continue to use this app, and I am so glad I finally started caring about this aspect of my life.

Simple and Effective. I’ve tried so many budget apps, but none have ever worked as well for me as Daily Budget. After getting lost in the bells and whistles of so many others, what I need boils down to tracking how much money I have left over after accounting for my monthly expenses—which is exactly what this is. I don’t need a panicked notification when I spend $5 more on utilities this month or go into the red when my “dining envelope” is tapped out. For me, budgeting needs to be simple in order to be sustainable. This is a straight forward picture of what I can spend, and it’s flexible. You can add in extra income or split the cost of future big purchases out of your daily budget. You can edit any budget at anytime without ruining the whole thing. I’m glad I finally found this app.

Awesome budget app. I’m typically pretty good about setting a budget in terms of knowing my monthly bills, but I always had trouble trying to budget for any extra costs, such as eating out or buying something extra. This app is great in that it allows you to set your monthly income and expenses, and then tells you how much extra you have each day based on those factors. It is also very simple to use and has a nice, clean interface. I personally am a very visual person, and being able to have my main page on blue (indicating I didn’t overspend my allowance for that day) gives me a sense of accomplishment at the end of each day. You do have to manually input any extra spending that you do outside of what you pre-set, but again, the simple design of the app makes this very quick and easy to do. The main features of the app are also free, with the option to purchase extras such as graphs and extra icons which show details of where your money is going. This allows you to see if you are maybe spending to much on, say, fast food each month. I would highly recommend this to anyone, especially college students like myself who are on a tight budget.

I like the app but.... There are a couple things I wish could be changed. One of those things is I’d like to change the breakdown of my recurring expenses into weeks rather than days as I’m not paid daily and it would help me more if I could see how much I need to save every week to pay something like rent. Another key feature I’d love to see implemented is the ability to do savings in both dollar and percentage amounts (for instance if I wanted to put away $500 into savings rather than 25% exactly). I’d also like to have the ability to have multiple portions of my income that I can save the same as my primary savings. Other than that I love this app. I bought premium features an hour into using it. The UI is a little buggy (but I’m using an iPhone 6 so what app isn’t) but it’s simple to use and overall it’s a very pleasant experience. Adding expenses and extra incomes (I’m a carpenter so I take side jobs all the time and this comes in handy to have) is a breeze. Id give it a 5/5 if the few features up above were changed/added. Overall very nicely done.

Love it so far. Really enjoy using this app a couple weeks in. Was searching for a budgeting app to help me reach some goals and maintain my accounts. My favorite part was that it doesn’t connect to my actual bank account, so that gave me peace of mind! I just put in my income, my expenses, and what my saving goal is for each week or month! Then it totals it up. Love that I can add extra income since my wife’s job income is always changing and it gives me realistically how much I can spend and still maintain my goal. Also love that the funds roll over, so I can save up for the weekend of I can distribute funds over a week for groceries so it doesn’t just drain 1 day. Great app! Only thing I wish I could add was my salary over the year, instead of inputting it over a week or month. But that isn’t even close to enough of a thing to make me leave the app! Just download it, it will help you out big time!

...Then I tried this app. I have tried quite a few of these types of apps - looking for something to show me how I am saving for a particular goal, and what it looks like in the future if I save more/less. I have used other apps for a couple months, but then I subsequently delete each one, because it is hard to use, or it doesn’t track month to month, or it just isn’t what I was really looking for. Then I tried this app! It’s designed SO great. I love how it shows my daily spending for each of my bills, even my monthly bills. I love that when I enter in my expenses for today, it shows me how that affects tomorrow and next week. I am just so happy with this app. I want to show it to everyone. Thanks, people!

Simple and Helpful!. This app is incredibly helpful and designed very cleanly (which I appreciate a lot!). I'm graduating from college next year and I wanted a budget app that I knew I would actually use once I start making "real world" money lol, and this app is definitely it. It's genuinely so easy to use which motivates me to use it more. The Big Spending feature is also really nice (for example, planning for birthdays or Xmas) I only wish that you could set the end date into the next year - as of right now, the farthest end date you can choose is December 31st of the current year. Other than that, this is a wonderful app. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get serious about budgeting/saving money!

Life & Marriage Saving. This app has been a game-changer for my wife and I. We were never great about tracking our spending or sticking to a budget, but I knew we needed to be more intentional about how we spent and saved money. There are a ton of other apps out there that sync to your bank and investment accounts but I didn’t want that. I wanted something that was more akin to keeping a food journal; something that was more intentional, transparent and something I could share with my wife. The beauty of this app is it’s simplicity yet it’s also super effective at changing behavior, which has been the biggest surprise. Each of us thinks twice now before spending money on something because we know when we do we not only have to log it in the app but share it with each other. My wife and I now have more fruitful conversations about money since each of us sees how it’s being spent each and every day. No more finger pointing or random accusations - it’s all right there (so long as we’re being honest). I recommend this app to all my friends and am so happy I stumbled upon it.

Great app - just know how to use it best!. TIP: Be sure to set your cycle for the month to the first day you get paid that month, then set expenses to “cycle” so that they align with one month of your paychecks. As a financial analyst, I like how this app is more manual. This app is great for me since I split expenses with my roommates - and when our expenses to each other balance out, we don’t have to pay each other. So, apps like Mint and others show I’m spending all my money on groceries, when that same $150 may be for other things. It may seem like effort, but it’s the best app for making you conscious of your actual spending, and to help you see what you should set as budgets for different spending categories.

The Most Practical Way to Budget AFAIK. It was unusually difficult to find an budgeting method that didn’t require an online account or - at the other end of the spectrum - required me to basically be my own accountant in the worst way. This is the best mix of detail, privacy, and accessibility that I’ve ever seen in a budget tracking or data utility app in general. I spend very little time thinking about money now, while I’ve saved and invested more than ever since using this app. It gives me the information I need about my spending and gets out of my way otherwise. There is actually a lot of room to budget in different and dare I say creative ways here. In my case, I’m meticulous but lazy. I track every novel purchase, rounded up to the nearest dollar, but I’ve added regular costs that fluctuate as fixed monthly costs based on their average e.g. a tank of gas every two weeks. That makes my cost of living more or less built in to the budget, so my balance is 100% for food and leisure barring emergencies and other surprises. Psychologically this does wonders; knowing that your needs are financially accounted for makes you feel almost like a kid saving up 10s and 20s for the thing you want. Even if it’s what you would consider pocket change after the bills are paid, you have a clear idea of what you can spend freely. Granted, this is an aspect of household budgeting when done right anyway, here it is achieved with very little effort.

I love and hate this app. I have used this app for over a year and it has been a love and hate relationship. On one hand, I absolutely love the minimal layout. It makes the cumbersome process of managing your finances easy. This app makes me actually want to track my spending, observe trends, and stay within budget. No other app or program has done that. This app would be perfect but it does have one issue I have consistently run across: bugs! It is so frustrating to spend hours inputting every transactions only to find out that it all got erased when the budgeting cycles miraculously disappear or change their start and end times. I wish there was a way to back up your data and restore the apps data when these bugs occur. I will keep using it just because I have spend so much time plugging all my data and because I do love it for its simplicity and design. However I do wish it was more stable.

Stellar app. The thing I LOVE about this app is that the paid version is a ONE-TIME purchase and not a subscription. Thank you thank you thank you to the creators for doing this. So many other apps out there just take so much money. There’s a place for that, but I’m so glad that you haven’t jumped on that bandwagon. I really like how simple the app is. It only takes a few minutes to set up. In my opinion, a sign of a good app is not having to spend time on it. I know many KPIs center around how much time the user spends and they thing if it’s higher the better. But I would disagree. This app does its job so well that I don’t have to spend a ton of time on it. I open it up and within a few seconds I’ve updated my budget. Very frictionless. And a clear interface. If you are debating whether or not to try this app, here is something to note. The app is only as accurate as the information you give it. It does not link to your bank accounts. So if you want a penny-perfect app, then this might not be the app for you. I personally like that it doesn’t connect. And my finances are relatively simple. So for me it’s perfect. But again it’s up to you on what you are looking for in a budgeting app.

Best "Budgeting" app there. Well I downloaded mostly the free apps out there and all I can say is that - this is the best. It is easy to use but really gets the job done. Really good if you want to budget your money and save. Bought the Categories in app purchase to support the developer but YOU DON'T REALLY NEED TO SPEND WITH THIS APP. I used it with the Spending app (you can also download it here in appstore for free). I used it mainly to keep track how much money I still have on my ATM. I hope this app incorporates that function. I mean this app can budget your money for the month, but in reality of course - your money is in your ATM, you don't have your whole salary with you physically, so I need to keep track the money I have there every time I withdraw. If I'm earning $300, and decided to withdraw $100 for this week, I have to log it in some other app that I withdraw $100 and still have $200 for the month, that is what I'm saying. So 4stars for now. 😊😊😊😊😊

Fantastic, gives peace of mind!. I’ve been using Daily Budget for two years and I love it! Best budget app I’ve come across. You don’t have to link your bank account. You just put in all your regular income and expenses and how much you want to be saving, and it calculates a budget for what you can spend each day. Then you add in your day to day purchases as you go. If you’re thrifty, it gives you more to spend the next day, and if you overspend it puts you in the negative. Before this app, I used to feel guilty about every single purchase because I had no sense of how much I could spend before I was putting myself in a bad place. This app gives me total peace of mind, to very clearly know where I stand financially and what I can or can’t afford to buy on a daily basis

A budgeting app that blew my mind. I’ve been using Mint for the past year, but I came to find that being as automated as it is, I largely forgot all my budgeting aspirations in my day to day life. This app is brilliant in its simplicity. I plug in my income, how much I want to save, then all my predicable expenses (rent, insurance, car payment etc). Daily Budget then spits out a figure of how much I can spend for the day. It isn’t boxed into any specific category, which I love. And I find it so much easier working to a daily budget. If I don’t spend anything today, that rolls into tomorrow’s budget and I can plan for larger expenses that way. If I spend too much, I see the deficit and know I need to ease up for the next few days to recover. It takes all the complexity of balancing family finances and reduces it to a single number. Thank you for making my financial goals so much more attainable!

So far so good!. I’ve been searching for an app like this for MONTHS! I happen to stumble across this and decided to give it a shot. For the start, it is extremely easy to use. You put in your monthly income and reoccurring expenses, as well as any thing you want to save for. It calculates what your daily budget should be! The only suggestions I have would be to have a way to add the initial starting amount of what you have in savings and checking already. And possibly a widget or home screen thing to have a constant reminder of your budget and how far you have gotten on your savings right there on your phone. Highly recommend for anyone who just wants a simple way to track and save your money.

Awesome, even for students!. I’ve only been using this app for a few days to help with keeping track of my expenses (trying to save for a large goal by next summer) and I’ve loved it so far! I’m a high school student and most of the other apps I’ve tried before were complicated and felt more like a chore that I was likely to forget about than a simple way to make my life easier. What really sets this app apart for me is how simple it is. Having a daily budget set based on my paycheck, and seeing how my spending affects tomorrow’s budget really helps me to stay mindful. And the graphics within the app itself are amazing too! Would definitely recommend to any friends who are trying to start budgeting.

It works - for real.. Update after using for 6 weeks: it's even better than I expected. You never know how apps will pan out over the long term, but this is, by a very long way, the best budgeting app I've ever used. I love how I put my fixed costs in and the minimum I want to save and then that's it. Those costs are not relevant to me when they come in (because they are already "paid for" with this budget tool), so I only need to focus on the variable expenses. I don't have any fixed costs in for food because it's so much in my control (e.g., do I really need to buy groceries, or can I eat what's here? Do I have money to go out to eat?). Over Mother's Day weekend expenses got high because I took my mom out for dinner & drinks and bought her a gift. But even with that, this app I helped tremendously. I was "in the orange" for about 5 days, so I just was really-really careful about not spending during that time. Anyway, I could go on...if you don't think budgeting can work for you, try this app. It will surprise you. Previous review: I've just started with it, but wow. Very enlightening. I know it'll work. I, too, like that it doesn't automatically load in expenses. I have plenty of apps that do that, and it doesn't help keep my budget going. This has.

ONE SUGGESTION!. Fantastic app I absolutely love it. I would only make one suggestion to improve it, and that is to have two options to view your money remaining for the month. Of course you have the current way of showing how much left for the current day which assumes you spend your daily average every day for the remainder of the month, but there is another metric that might also be useful: a revised daily average for the rest of the month based on the total spending money you have remaining, divided by the total days in the month. I believe that would be cool to see it go up or down and aim to increase that fluctuating daily average. Once again, thanks for a great app and thanks for reading!

Developers are very helpful. This app is absolutely fantastic! As a person who never ever writes reviews I hope this emphasizes how awesome this app is. It really helped me keep track of where my money is going and it’s fun to make adjustments, break down my spending into category’s and reevaluate my spending. The app had some minor bugs so I made a suggestion about the analytics and graphs and the developers made it better! The developers are very fast to respond and fixed my issue quickly! Not only is the app great so are the developers as they are genuinely helpful. I was invited to try the beta which unfortunately did not work out as my device was not compatible. But I think it’s so cool I was invited to try it out. Oh and by the way the issues I had were not even glitches by the app it’s was my own understanding that was incorrect. still the developers were courteous about my problem and sent me simple easy to fallow steps. The app is detailed and complex but simple in all the right ways! WELL DONE!

Best.. I’ve tried so many other budget tools for iOS an this app is far and away my favorite for expense tracking. There are other tool like mint or personal capital (I still use the latter) that are great for looking at all your finances as once, but they do not make for good budgeting tools. This app is perfect precisely because it is not a passive tool. You must use it, not just leave it in the background, and this makes you actually think about your budget, and how that factors into your daily spending. It is simply a joy to use and in my opinion the best budget app period. P.S. I would love an Apple Watch app with a very simple complication of a rounded dollar amount hat you have allocated up to that day.

Great app! Only wish it had one more feature.... This app is great for someone like me, who has a TON of bills and very little money reserved for general spending purposes, essentially living paycheck to paycheck with the exception of putting money in savings for a rainy day/emergency fund. In addition to using this app, I created a personal monthly budget to show me where I would stand during different times of the month since my bills/paychecks don’t always line up the same way so I could see a more accurate depiction of the amount of money I could spend before my next paycheck. It would be great if you could enter a beginning balance on this app, and have it take into consideration your current balance and the date your bills are projected to come out when calculating your true daily budget availability. Otherwise, no complaints. Thanks for creating this awesome, free tool!

Best budget app out there. I've tried countless ways to manage my money and in the end I always abandon it because of things becoming tedious. This app solves that problem and actually makes saving money fun! Update: I created a spreadsheet in Excel to mimic this app so I could understand exactly how it works and let me tell you it works perfect! Tip: After you have everything setup... goto Analysis, Overview and look at "Budget Left". This is the amount you have to spend for the rest of the month in order to successfully meet your saving goals. At first I got hung up when seeing negative numbers on the main page. But as long as "Budget Left" is positive, your spending will eventually catch up. Also "Big Spending" is treated as an actual transaction (the amount is just spread out). So once that future date occurs, you don't enter the amount again. These are just two tips I wish I had read in the beginning saving me the need to create the spreadsheet. This app is for life!

Fantastic app. The only thing I wish is if this connected to a bank account! But I do understand that manually entering transactions keeps you more mindful about your spending. Also, maybe I’m not using it right, but it doesn’t seem like you can enter transactions or income dated before the current date. I wanted to make the budget as accurate as possible with more data and input prior transactions for the month (since I just downloaded the app) but I don’t know if I’m thinking about it the right way. Should I be entering those past transactions dated for today and just distributing them to the end of the month? Anyway, great resource! I’m using it constantly. Clean, easy to navigate interface. Still learning the method and getting out of the “what’s left in my checking account” habit of spending. Bought it for myself and my wife, we have it set up on a single Dropbox account and it works great. Takes a minute to refresh but works perfectly.

The simplest-to-use budgeting app. So simple to use! You put in your monthly income and expenses, and the app tells you how much money you have to spend on variable expenses. This is so much clearer than most budgeting apps, which divide up spending and income into lots of categories so it is harder to see the big picture. You see how much money you can spend each day, and it accumulates so that it is okay to have days when you spend more or less than that number. I have used this app to keep track of vacation spending as well as everyday spending, and I think it is the best budgeting app that exists. My one (minor) complaint is that you can reset the app, but it deletes all of your data - I wish there were a way to reset spending totals without losing all of the data that I had previously recorded.

THE BEST BUDGETING APP. I am a perfectionist and have tried pretty much every budget app that exists. I ended up hating every one because they never actually helped me or lessened my stress around budgeting. This app however was the answer to my prayers. I LOVE the method of seeing your money grow each day and that each day is a new day to start fresh. It is SO motivating and actually makes me want to save and it feels like a game to see how high I can get my daily balance. I also love that you can enter a big expense to distribute over a set amount of days. The only thing I would love to see eventually is a way to connect to your bank, just because sometimes I’m afraid I will miss a transaction when I enter it manually. If you have tried and tried to find a budgeting app that works, look no further.

Literally the best budget app I’ve found!!. This app keeps my family in the black with both my wife and I being able to spend money from a shared account and stay up to date with each other’s spending. The new update has corrected a syncing issue that has given us some trouble for years and also looks very sharp. The addition of letting us spread out a large purchase over the entire month’s budget is life-changing. It is super easy to use and you don’t have to feed it all of your banking passwords like other apps. If I had any request it would be to allow me to check off items in my account history when I’m verifying purchases on my bank statement. This is a daily app for me. I hope it’s around forever.

This app transformed the way we spend money. My husband and I have been married for close to a decade and money has always been a stressor. Most budget apps set goals by month by how do you know what you’ll need at the end of each month? The Daily Budget uses the same idea as a service like Mint but it revolutionized our spending and communication to have a DAILY amount we can spend. You roll over unspent money to the next day, you can spread big purchases over a long period of time, it syncs the data between phones, and it’s easy to set the daily amount so you’re saving each month. We’d struggled to save before but over the last year have saved nearly $10k by changing nothing except using this app to keep us on track with our spending. And the best thing is, there’s no guilt about spending the money you have each day - it’ll be replenished tomorrow. It has helped us to have honest communication without the anxiety of possibly running out of money at the end of the month. Get the app. It’s well worth the money to sync it with another phone and the app has worked flawlessly for us.

Best budgeting app. This app is the best budgeting app if you want to actually save money and stick to your budget and the free version is fully functional. While other apps are good for tracking your expenses and telling you how much you’ve spent, none of them actually give you an accurate view of whether you’re over or under budget at any given time. We’d even struggle to figure out where all the money went and even if we did, the money was already gone. This app is really simple and that’s what makes it so functional. You enter your income, fixed expenses, and how much you want to save per month. Taking that into account, it gives you a spending budget per day which carries over into the next day if you don’t use all of it. You manually enter your expenses which keeps you accountable with every purchase. The pro features are great and work well. I contacted their customer service and got a very helpful response back the same day on a Sunday. Super excited about this app and all the money I’m going to save!

Just what I needed. I downloaded and deleted about 7 other apps before I stumbled upon this one. I was looking for an app that didn’t force me to link any of my accounts (stay away from my money, Russian hackers!) but still kept me honest with regard to my spending. This app allows me to manually enter my monthy income, expenses, and desired amt to save each month and then doles out a daily spending allowance, which ticks downward with every expense you enter. If I’m a good girl and spend less than my daily allotment, the remainer rolls over to the next day, so that at the end of each week I can see if I have remaining money to spend on some kind of “extra” without blowing my predetermined budget. Ok, so it’s basically an excel spreadsheet in the form of a dummy-proof app, but turns out it’s just what I needed! Fancier folks who aren’t afraid of Russian/Chinese hackers may prefer the likes of Mint or Wally, etc.

The app I never knew I needed. This is the budgeting app I never knew I needed! I’m only two weeks in but I’m already impressed. I’m still skeptical because I’ve tried many apps that eventually don’t work out, which is why I’m cautiously giving it a 4 star for now. For some reason, these other apps are overly difficult to keep track of a budget. It just never made sense to me. A budgeting app should make your life easier, not more difficult. With Daily Budget, I like that I can input fixed income, costs, and savings. I also like the ability to see my daily budget and add any (+) or (-) costs. It has a reminder option that I turn on for 9pm that way I can input my costs at the end of the day, if my day was chaotic and busy. I was sick of over-spending and not having a clue of where my money was going. Life is a variable though and this app allows the flexibility to spend money every day, if needed, but spend it more consciously (as you’ll have a set daily budget determined by your fixed incomes, costs, and savings). It’s exactly what I needed. I love that the basic functions are FREE. I also like that you can individually purchase any other functions you might need. I bought the no ads, more categories, and graphs add-ons and I don’t regret one bit. I’ll be back in a few months to update my review and re-rate it.

Simple. Visual. Straightforward.. Are you tired of budgeting apps that come with a million frills, landing pages, and features you’ll never use? Do you find yourself dreading going into your budgeting app because it’s just too much work? Do you feel struggle to visualize how much you should be spending every day? Then this is the app for you! I’ve tried every budgeting app known to man and THIS is the one that has stuck. It has exactly what I want in a budgeting app: guidelines, some - not excessive - detailed analysis of my spending, and such an easy interface that I don’t mind entering in purchases immediately after making them. Thank you to the people who have worked on this app! It’s a great product and I hope I always have it at my fingertips.

Exactly as advertised. I wanted an app that broke down my budget into “how much can I spend each day”, and this app does that very well. I’ve tried the envelope budgeting and other budgeting apps, and they’re always too complicated. I can never just open those apps and immediately see if I can afford something I want to buy. With this app, that’s easy. It also gives you a lot more features, but the core of the app works perfectly for me. I spent the full amount for all the features even though I only want a few of them because I want to encourage the developers. I also use the Dropbox synchronization (the one paid feature I use) and it works well. The UI for setting it up is a bit clunky, but once it’s set up all the people in my household can just open the app and add their transactions no problem. I appreciate that there’s no data being stored outside of my control.

A simple app to get your budget on track.. I used Daily Budget a long time ago, and they’ve made lots of improvements since I last used it while keeping the core idea the same. This app is great for people who work better with short-term goals and who find their accounts running a little low before payday. I find a daily budget much easier to wrap my head around than a monthly or weekly budget. The app is still flexible enough that you can adjust for large purchases coming up or extra income. You can spread your income and expenses out over different periods of time. This app doesn’t allow you to connect to your accounts to automatically import transactions, so it takes a little more effort if you have a lot of non-recurring expenses, but with the benefit of keeping your accounts and personal information more private than with other apps. I’m happy to put in a little extra effort for better privacy and the great interface, so this app is perfect for my needs.

Makes Budgeting So Simple. Update: The latest update includes the ability to search past transactions! Thanks to the developers! I’ve tried out various budgeting apps over the years, and this one is by far my favorite. It really takes the hassle out of figuring out what you can spend out of your expendable income without accidentally spending more than you’ve earned. Recent updates have also made it even sleeker and easier to use. My only suggestion is that I’d really like to be able to search in my transactions list. Sometimes I like to go back and see when the last time was that I made a certain type of purchase and a search feature would take away the hassle of scrolling the whole list.

Actually works. I've tried unsuccessfully to use Mint for a while to stick to a budget, and it's been a mess. I just started using this app and I'm already much more on track. I thought that manually entering expenses would be a pain, but I find that it keeps me much more mindful of what I'm spending my money on and what I have available. The simplicity of this approach is preferable to the automation of Mint. I particularly love being able to enter all of my fixed expenses, plan for big expenses, and let the app tell me how much I can spend safely on a daily basis while still saving what I want and factoring everything in for me. Really well done model for saving. Plus, look at the reviews. The developer is super responsive. That's worth a lot.

Great and simple. Beautifully designed. A+. I’ve been trying to arrive at a simple budgeting solution - I downloaded several budgeting apps, which I ended up deleting within a few minutes. Most apps are not streamlined or this simple to set up. This app is fast to set up and seems to me the smartest way to keep to a budget and always know your disposable income. Basically you set up monthly envelopes devoted to every expense. The app then divides your remaining income per month into a per diem amount. If you spend less than the diem it adds the remaining money to your next day’s tab. Likewise, it subtracts from the next days diem if you spend too much. Basically it’s a running tally of your disposable income per day. Not only is the app very efficient, it has great flow and design. Highly recommend!

My Unorthodox Use Case. So I’m actually in college with a semester-based stipend for food bought on campus. The way the university deals with this “meal plan” is quite clunky, so I decided to get my own budgeting app and work out the budget myself. I mainly care about portioning out a bit of the meal plan each day for big events and such, but the app is also quite functional in that I can transfer all of the collected finance data into a CSV spreadsheet! Returning to the meal plan, the way the app tries to set up my budget as more income-based than allowance-based is probably useful for most use cases of this app. However, my meal plan is essentially just a gift card that I swipe on campus, with a fixed amount at the start of each semester. In order to get around the “income” problem for this app, I essentially just have the pay period (a setting in the income options) to the duration of the semester. From there, the app calculates how much you get every day, and just gives you that fixed income for as long as you wish. I’ve found that basically for August and January, when I’m not spending meal plan for half of those months, I just subtract all of the accrued savings and continue on with the semester! Overall, love the app. Easy to use. Also has a good Internet forum on reddit.

Great Tool. I love this app! I have used several other budgeting apps. Most of them need to be linked to your bank account and this was frustrating for me because it would never know when money was being taken out for bills, paying credit cards off, etc. With this app you put in your monthly income, monthly expenses, and a monthly savings goal, and then it divides what you have left to give you a daily budget. It’s extremely simple and has been the first app to actually help me be careful about what I’m spending. I also love that if you don’t use all of the money in your daily budget it carries over to the next day. I definitely recommend (and I only have the free basic features...I imagine it’s even better if you spend the $6.99 to unlock all of the features!)

Awesome app but.... Edit: If that is the case, can you add a button below “delete” that says “end recurring expense” or “end” that just put ends the expense so that users don’t have to set the end date to previous month (that’s the more annoying part). Also, if you want to make magic happen, if I change something about the recurring expense, ask the user if it wants it to apply to all cycles or just this one. Then if user selects just this one you behind the scenes ends the expense in the previous cycle, clone the expense with new start and end dates and boom, problem solved. The last suggestions is better than the first one. Hope you can implement that. Thanks. I use this app everyday. It’s how I manage my money. I just want to ask for a minor change that it was introduced recently. Please, please, let me change and tweak my regular income and recurring expenses per cycle like it was before. Now if I change something, it will affect all my cycles because now the app uses date ranges for everything. I just want to tweak my current cycle. I do not want to need to change the end date so that I can “finish” the recurring expense and create another one with the same name with my new number. It’s just annoying. Let us modify our daily budget per cycle without modifying the before ones. Thanks. Used to love the app but that little change is making everything hard for me.

It works. For real.. My MVP app. It’s the only app I’ve ever bothered to write a review for on the App Store. There’s a lot of budget apps out there but this one is unique, simple, and intuitive and designed with real life in mind. It really works to help me understand where money is going, and makes calculations for me to spread my larger expenses across days and see what that costs me per day. This app calculates a daily allowance based on what you tell it. It’s blue if you’re ahead of the game, and orange if you’re behind. Other apps tend to rely on predictable income and expenses. They rely on category-based spending limits that i have to (somehow) estimate and set, and failing to properly categorize each transaction into the appropriate bucket makes the whole system break. This one doesn’t! Expenses, income, and savings can be entered daily, monthly, or over whatever time period is predictable and feels most intuitive, so it could work for all kinds of livelihoods and incomes, whether you’re a single-income salaried earner or a inconsistent /multiple income/tips earner. Categories don’t matter unless you want them to. 10/10 would do it again.

Simple and effective. I tried other budget apps because their UI was attractive but after using them for a while, I noticed that it really wasn’t as close simple as I wanted it. I really wanted a “daily budget”, I didn’t want to have to define a “budget” for everything. After that I returned back to Daily Budget and the reason is, because it does exactly what I wanted. A very simple way by just asking, Income, Expenses and Savings.... done. I have the daily cash I can spend. I didn’t need the paid version, but I use it so much that in support to the developer I went and bought all features. Bottom line, if you are looking for a simple way to track your Daily available cash... give this app a try.

I love this app. No more excel!. I love this app. Once I finally got the hang of it l, it was like budgeting for dummies. I bought the pro version so I can see all the information. I recommend it. My only critique that I think the developers should update is...when entering a big expense to be set in the FUTURE that is not dispersed, but set to occur on a specific day....it disappears. The expense is accounted for in the charts but there is no way to return to that expense and delete it or edit it UNTIL the said specific date arrives and it is official added to transactions. If a mistake is made, without being able to delete these transactions, it messes up the charts with future assumptions that shouldn’t be there.

Best Budgeting App. Updated: They have now fixed it so you can keep category selection or skip it and the auto populate feature works once again so I’m returning my rating to 5-stars. I have tried several different personal finance apps and this one works the best for me, by far. I also appreciate how responsive the developers are to fixing problems and continually improving the app. I love this app, but have had problems since the update. The entry defaults to General instead of letting me choose a category so it adds a step to entering a transaction. Plus the cursor doesn’t automatically go to the ‘amount’ field so I have to click on it which adds another step. It was much faster and more fluid before the update. Also the auto-populate fields seem to have been lost.

Helpful. I really enjoy the simplicity of this app. I’m hoping the new version comes out soon because my analysis graphs show me losing money like crazy even though I’m in the positive. It gave me a heart attack for a second! Now there is one thing about the app that’s a bit frustrating for me... under the extra incomes section, I am attempting to enter one time payments for future dates (I have a second job that’s a contract position and the dates have already been set for the rest of the year) but whenever I select to add/save it, nothing seems to happen. I can’t tell if it’s a defect but, it would be super helpful if it listed all of the future extra-income payments in that section. If they could also show up under the graphs, budget, and balance sections, then you will be my hero.

6 months in: Effective and easy!. Like many others, I've used a ton of budgeting apps but this is the one I've really been able to stick with. I've been using it consistently for six months and while there are a few quirks with the Cycles feature, I haven't experienced any of the other bugs in previous reviews. I love that it's so fast to enter spending. I thought I preferred auto linking apps like Mint, but I struggle with the delay of pending transactions and it was easy to "forget" I spent the money when it just came through automatically. Entering transactions literally takes less than ten seconds but I think it encourages building good budgeting habits because it makes me "feel" my purchases a bit more. If I forget to enter an expense, I can always add it later. I LOVE setting cycles. I do most my spending on the weekend so I start my cycle on Monday and try to build up as much spending as possible by Saturday. Seeing that number grow is encouraging throughout the week and then I can enjoy my weekends, knowing exactly how much I have available. Feature request: Id like a playback of the amount I went over/under for each cycle. If I forget to check Sunday night, I have to add up every by hand. Instead, I would love a report of my aggregate results each cycle, so I can track my progress Thanks for making a great app!

Simple, effective, and somehow fun!. I’ve been nervous to start budgeting for a while now. I’ve never had to worry about it since I’ve always been conscious about saving as much as possible, however, since I’ve been having to pay back my loans I’ve been having a hard time! I’ve been trying to pour a lot of my funds into my loans (because I hate being in debt) but since I’m not being smart about it and turning a blind eye I’ve noticed my funds dwindling. Not an easy thing since I’m trying to afford going to grad school! The idea of finding out that I can’t afford all of my expenses seemed daunting, but this app has made my new budget experience painless and very interesting! I feel like I can breathe again a little bit knowing that I’m just barely making it haha :) I could be paying less towards my loans I guess but I would rather not, interest suuuuucks.

Was the best app for me. Let me start out by saying I thought this was the best budget app ever created. I would argue against anybody that would say otherwise. However, I’ve run into the same issue over and over again. Every once in awhile the amount on my daily budget would jump tremendously to a negative amount or to some insane positive amount. I’ve contacted customer support for this many times. And they say it’s because of the cloud syncing and that I need to make sure my cycles are all there. I’ve got use to fixing it even though I wasn’t too happy about it, but now when it just changes for no reason even though all my cycles are there, I just don’t want to deal with it anymore. I hope this doesn’t happen to your app, and maybe my phone is just malfunctioning. I’ve paid for the full version of this app and I’m sad to let it go. I’ll be trying other apps in the meantime until there are improvements or when I get a newer iPhone (currently using iPhone 7). I appreciate the services that I’ve received up to this point. Thanks.

Game changer (and icon changer!). Takes a couple of minutes to get the hang of but after that you’re up and away! Loved the distribute option as it makes you budget for big ticket items over whatever period of time you choose. Huge extra bonus points for having an option to change icon colour!!!!

Easy and effective. We have found this app super easy to use and save money quickly. My only improvement would be able to access the data on all my devices and/or sync with my husband's app so it would update when either of us enter an expense/income saving time each evening updating what the other person spent to ensure the app is accurate.

Simple budgeting. I appreciate that this app allows you to set apart money for your set bills and various savings, and then shows you what you have left to spend each day. This makes it really clear to me how my finances are going, and is less fiddly than other apps that require setting every single category that you might be spending in. I’m still new to this app and will see how it goes over the coming months. I’ve found there is also a helpful reddit community that gives tips on how other people use and adapt the app for their needs.

Great app!. This is such a simple and intuitive app for budget tracking. I love how I can see how much I can spend a day and it’s a good motivation not to when I can see how much it adds up over a few days! I do have one suggestion: under “savings” could you add options for savings per week/fortnight/month etc. instead of just per day or a percentage? I’d prefer to set up my savings to coincide on my fortnightly pay days, just like the regular expenses and income. Thanks for such a good app and keep up the good work!

Simplicity is king. I use this whenever I spend and find its user interface so easy it’s hard not to be aware where your money is going. Every time I think of something I’d like add or I wished it would do, I realise that the simplicity is what makes me come back. It clears the picture for me by removing what is being budgeted for, and leaving me only to track the areas I have control over. Result? Automatic savings and limits on my spending. Well done guys!

Takes a bit of trying to get right, but we’ll worth it. You need to make sure your cycle settings match your pay cycle and play around with a few other setting to get it just right, but once you do it is fantastic. Super easy to use on the go, keeps track of things really well, and is very usable in the free version. I did pay for the extra features (such as more categories for types of spending), but that was more as a way to support this amazing app than for function. Although the extra categories are nice to have. Highly recommend

Best budget app I’ve ever used. This is by far the best budget app I’ve ever used and I’ve definitely tried a few. It’s straightforward and simple and I don’t end up getting “lost” in the app and because of that I’m able to stick to it. It’s definitely helping me stay on track on my budget. Two thumbs up!

Really simple and useful. This is a great app for basic budgeting as it's simple, easy, and shows the most important data on the front screen. The one suggestion that I'd make is that it would be great to be able to swipe the front screen's 'budget available' days left and right to see past and projected available spend amounts.

Halloweendee. Easiest app for budgeting. Love the analysis so you can see how much you save (reinforcing) and also the categories you are spending (motivating). Most of all a daily interaction of about 20 seconds if you just want to input spendings. Too easy yet has all the added extras if you want to go into further analysis.

Exactly what I needed.. Just wanted a break down of what my expenses were per day (bills, rent, insurance, etc). Nothing fancy. I input any money I spend and what I spend it on. Then at the end of the week I see how much I have left that can go towards savings. It’s really helped. Having to write down what you spend also deters you from spending unnecessary money or money you don’t have.

Simple to use and love the layout. The app is really easy to use and is very straight forward. It is nice to know your daily budget and how to save toward your goal. I wish it had a feature that allows you to enter existing savings so I can enter big spending that may exceed my daily budget.

The easiest budget app ever. Budgeting made as easy as possible. I can put all of my recurring expenses and savings goals vs my income and it spits out an easy to follow daily budget and keeps me on track. The analysis of my spending habits is super helpful too, and I appreciate how it rolls over my budget so I can chip away at it when it’s dropped. A great way to stay accountable after the month has ended.

Simple and intuitive. A great basic budgeting app that anyone can use. I paid for the pro upgrade and I think it is worth it. The interface is very clean, input is very easy, especially after a few uses because custom notes data entered is added to a dropdown list so you don't need to type regular details in full each time. Too early to report on the 'insights' features but these seem comprehensive.

Just started. It’s a new year so it’s time to take control. Like the easy to use interface, and how clear everything is. Will be good to see what the graphs look like in a few months. If you want simple no fuss easy to understand then this is the budget app for you.

Love this app! But does have issues. I absolutely love this app and have been using this religiously! However I think there might be an issue with the app automatically deleting cycles. It’s been a few times now where the app automatically reset the cycle. I had to go back to setting and manually change the cycle start dates. On 2 occasions, a month of data got erased automatically and can not be retrieved

Extremely helpful. I’ve always had trouble with saving and spending because I’ve never really known my limits. Now I am more conscious of my spending because I’m aware of my budget for the day and I know that if I want something it’s better to wait and allow my budget to accumulate as oppose to just spending spending spending.

Please add time sheets to the app. I would be happy to pay for the ability to add time sheets to this app, so that I can enter in the hours I have worked on a project and the hourly rate I charge and then the app works it out for me. Please also add the ability to have regular set aside amounts. E.g. tithing, savings, charity, investing. You already have 10% but it doesn’t work it out for extra, irregular income. Only regular pay checks. For those of us in small business without a regular pay check, this function would make budgeting a lot easier.

Simple concept that works!. I have tried so many budget apps and despair as they are so complicated. This world because you spend a few hours entering fixed expenses, what you want to save then whatever is left is discretionary expenses such as groceries, books, night our takeaway. It’s the discretionary expenses where I fritter money away. Now each day I know what I have to spend. Already I can feel my spending curbing as I consider entering a negative. Simple concept, love it.

Exactly what I need. I cannot recommend this app enough if you want to stop living pay cheque to pay cheque. The best way is to set a daily budget and pay attention to where that money is going each day. My favourite feature is the ability to distribute a large payment over days, weeks or months such as a monthly subscription or a one-a-week spend. You can even factor in how much you want to save and it will calculate that into your daily spend limit. The widget makes it super easy to keep track of your limit and how much you are saving. The developer has thought of every feature that you would need to make a daily budget work.

Easiest budgeting app out these!. This app is the absolute easiest to use. So simple to set up and make adjustments. You can input regular expenses with different timeframes so that it calculates it on a monthly basis (or whatever cycle you choose). Natalia (support) is amazing, efficient and ever so helpful! I’m looking forward to all the new updates they have in the works. I recommend paying for the extras. You won’t regret it!

$$$$. I’m the type of person that will spill money on literally anything that is presented to me and so I’ve been struggling to save. This app is absolutely perfect if you’re the type of person that needs to have strict rules or limits to avoid impulse spending, I’m now confident that I can both pay all my regular payments and save 80% of what’s left over. I’m saving literally hundreds. Highly recommend!

Best things in life are simple and this app is so simple. Its so simple. Doesn’t complicate things at all, unlike other budget apps. Great for starting to develop a “live within your means” mindset. It also gives you hope as you can see your performance over today, tomorrow and the day after. So if you have a deficit today... you can aim to turn it around. I only have two suggestions: 1) I would love to be able to have the ability to multiple budgets. 2) Also would be great if it can allow couples to have shared budgets which each can add to on their own phones

Easy to set up and use!. I use this app daily, it’s easy to use, and helps me keep track of my spending. I love that it shows what my balance will be 2days from now, that helps me hold out on purchases until I have the cash

Simple, yet effective. This app is perfect for me! It breaks down your income and expenses to a daily amount, showing you what you can spend each day. If you're looking for a budget app with lots of features it's probably not the best choice, but since I started using it I've made better decisions about how I'm spending my money.

Extremely approachable budgeting app. Other apps may have more heavy-duty features, but this one was so fast to set up (being able to put in expenses at different time scales is great) and easy to understand. I also like how unplanned spending can be distributed over time without having to create a new expense category for it. I think using this app needs a different mindset from others. In apps like Goodbudget or YNAB, you place every dollar into an envelope yourself, and you can have envelopes that store only $300, for example, and then you can’t put anything into them anymore. When you spend money you remove it from those envelopes, so you can always see how much money remains in each spending category. With this app, though, the idea is that you set up your expenses and then never think about them again; you pay them as they come, and whether you spent more or less than the budgeted amount for each expense is not tracked. This basically means that you need to set generous expense margins and take the leftover money as a pleasant surprise.

Great but latest version has an annoying bug. I love this app but since the latest version when I edit my spending categories I keep having issues of two of them disappearing and I have to keep recreating them every time I have that type of expense except it appears that it also deletes any previous transactions related to it. Seems to always happen to my ‘Food/Takeout’ category which I use the muffin icon for.

Great App. This app has pretty much got it just right for me. I find it amazingly helpful to keep track of my expenses and curb my spending habits. The only thing I would love to see is the ability to keep a tally on multiple bank accounts within the app rather than just my overall pay for the week. More so because I have an account where my Bill money goes and then two other accounts for saving purposes. Other than that a fantastic app, keep up the good work!

Mrs PD. My 26 year old daughter and I have been using this app since Jan 2015 and we think it's the best app for tracking and helping us achieve our savings goals. Since we started using it we have cut back a lot on our discretionary spending.

Simple and awesome!. Great app! Easy to use. Breaks it all down for you. Best budget tracking app I’ve found so far. Only thing I would change is being able to see what you’re current spending is at per week, not just a day. That’s my only complaint!

Great App but would like more if possible. This seems like a great app however I’d love it there were options to also do more budgets as well as my own, so for instance my partners budget or my business. If these were also doable under my one account that would make this app perfect! Also setting up possible bill reminders would be fabulous!

Simple & So Very Useful. I've scoured the app store for an app that will help me manage my day-to-day budget, and this is by far the best I've found. No silly business with wallets/envelopes/etc, no need to link it to your bank accounts, nothing complicated or confusing about it. All this app does is what I need it to do - tells me how much money I can spend per day to make my monthly paycheck last the entire month. My savings are on track, I always have enough money to pay my bills, and now that I'm more conscious of my daily spending I'm finding that I often have money left over to treat myself at the end of the month!

This actually works!. I had the free version for I think 2 days and upgraded to Pro because I wanted the extra features but you could easily get a lot out of using the free version. It’s so motivating to reach a little mini goal each day and if you spend more it takes no time to get back on track. One tip from me: put in only the expenses you know exactly how much will come out and I added an allowance for health care. Things like groceries and petrol I add as I go. It’s super easy and quick to do. I’m definitely spending less on things I don’t really need or waiting until I do.

Super budget tracking app. It has all the features what you need to keep an eye on your spending. I have purchased a little bit of extras including the analysis charts and it is very good to see how we are tracking. I like that it is not linked to the card, I lodge all transactions immediately when they happen. Very easy to use and see, where your spending is, what you can and cannot influence. Only I wish it can do even long term projections (1 year, 3years and 5years) charts. Also as a suggestion: some of the spending labels I no longer use and I am not sure how to delete them within the category. It always comes as a suggested label, however there is no function to get rid off it :) not a big deal. Overall - love it!!! Customer since 2017!!!

Great app. I’ve payed for the pro version through the free app and have loved it since. An awesome improvement would be allowing multiple budgets. For instance one for my home expenses and one for my business expenses. The only way around this is to purchase your other pro app. But I’d prefer not to pay for the same app again. I’d definitely give 5/5 stars for multiple budgets though. Will this happen anytime soon?

Really good app. tracks exactly what i want and i love all the features especially being able to show how much i can spend each day whilst saving my desired amount and being able to enter in how much i’ve spent of any extra money i’ve earned Awesome app to help save maximum money

Amazing budget tracker app. Absolutely love this app and all its features, really helps keep me on track, very easy to use. I love the distribute function for larger expenses. Tip for the developer: when you distribute an amount it always had the starting date from The first of the month instead of “today”, which is frustrating to change every time as I would like to enter that payment from today’s date. It used to be like this when it was under the “big expenses” option. I like that it’s been integrated into the main budget page, but can it be changed back to today’s date instead?

Very simple and clever budgeting tool. I love this idea, it takes such little time to set up and it’s free to use the most essential features (no category limits etc) in comparison to other apps. You can even change the appearance of the app icon on your home screen! I need something a little more sophisticated, i.e. to set budget limits on non-fixed expenses, but for a quick overview I still keep this in my arsenal. It takes pride of place on the first page of my home screen.

One of the better apps. Took a little while to work how it could work for me but now I have a good idea of what I can spend at a given time. It makes saving up for the bigger items like car maintenance and etc easier.

This app actually has me happy about budgeting. I’ve tried plenty of budgeting apps over the years. Plenty of them had me reconciling back to my bank account, which was time consuming so I stopped using them. This app is surprisingly feature-rich, which is not immediately obvious given the clean and simple layout. I work to a monthly cycle and after setting my income, expenses and savings I’ve now got a daily spending balance I trust. I love the distribution feature. This app has changed my world - it does the heavy lifting of budgeting. Takes no time to add spending transactions - love adding them via my Apple Watch. Takes a bit to get your head around it and so, could do with better explanatory and “get started” videos. Having an always available in-app tutorial explaining each screen would be magic. That said, it’s worth the effort to set it up. Explore all the navigation options - you’ll be surprised what’s there.

My favourite app ever. So helpful at managing budget and helps me think more consciously about spending as I get paid monthly and looking at my bank balance is just misleading. Great to separate items into categories and helps me manage my full time income as well as my ceramic business sales easily. Love it!

What is happening?. I have used this app for years but suddenly something strange is happening. I was adjusting some of my regular payments and as soon as i hit the safe button the item disappeared, and my total of money i had suddenly got reduced by a huge amount. I tried it a few times and it always happened. In the end there were no total costs left and i lost all my records. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I could add some regular costs as long as i did not adjust the payment period. But if i tried to make it a fortnightly payment and safe that it disappeared. Such a shame. I used to love this app

Fab!. It would be 100% if you could edit your daily spend specifically for that day, so then it could accumulate money which hadn't been spent that day and pop it onto the next day. That way, if you wanted to save your excess money for some wine on the weekend you would know how much you had accumulated though the week! But love it!

The app I’ve been looking for. So simple but so well designed. I love managing my money each day now - who would have thought?? Great to know if something big comes up it won’t ruin my budget allocation for the day because I can spread the cost over a period. I upgraded to full version immediately because I know it’s one I’ll use heaps.

Great. Seems very good. Haven't used it extensively yet but it seems like one of the great apps I wouldn't mind paying for! Simple and clean UI is absolutely fantastic and makes everything simple, yet when I look at the paid features it seems like you can do complicated stuff and play with your data for an in depth analysis. I love it!

Very handy, lovely UI. This app is very handy at giving you an accurate indication as to how much you should be spending each day at a maximum, and allows for easy saving and planning for the future, while simultaneously giving you a day to day indication of your spending and savings. Also, it’s just a very beautiful app, using it is very lovely.

Ive had this for years. great for ur money. I have the full access version of this app and i think it is great. Full of graphs. Able to see what i need to put away as a whole collective amount for expenses and saving and daily amt for random expenses. Also exporting and breakdown of all expenses. Adaptable and convenient and goal setting app. This is an app u can use daily or when you like to adjust ur budget for different reasons. Set dates in the future for what u want to save for and it will work out how much you should be putting away until that date. Love it.

Love this app. I love budgeting and have tried almost all apps available. I have been an avid user of YNAB and loved it but found that I didn’t leave money for myself to spend, this app allows that whilst achieving all my financial goals. The simplicity is amazing and makes it more fun and less overwhelming to use. I highly recommend to anyone for all ages. Thank you for an amazing app please don’t ever get rid of this app.

Simple and good. Does what it says, great across several users to manage a family budget. Nice!!!! Sadly the syncing had been failing for several months now and they can’t find a solution. I’ll come back when it’s fixed but it’s broken it down for me unfortunately. Aside from that it changed my life. Seriously. The next version will have the sync problems all sorted so I’m back on as a five star! I left the comments above because it’s important to note that they worked so hard to resolve the issues and stayed in contact the whole time. Amazing customer service!

Great but. Helps you save but when you just want to use it as a budget app and let you know how much total you have to spend don’t add your regular expenses add them yourself basically have everything set as 0 and add everything yourself. I’ll update this if the balance doesn’t roll over if I have excess money left

Better than many paid options!. In 10 years I don’t think I’ve ever left an App Store review - this app is that good! I’ve been looking for a budgeting app that doesn’t require bank details or account linking. I’ve also been searching for a solution that doesn’t require spreadsheets. This app is SO easy to use - I set it up in less than 5 minutes. It makes saving fun! It’s really helpful to see things broken down into daily amounts because looking at $___/day brings budgeting into digestible pieces instead of seeing a large $___/month and having to do the math yourself. Adding expenses, income, and goals is so easy and the customizable expense / saving intervals is great. 10/10!

The math is wrong. If i put a a reoccurring income and click the next month, the number goes up and down at weird intervals (with no expenses enterer) and doesnt even change some months.. the math is literally wrong, which is the whole point of this app.

Good. Good

Great interface. Simple and efficient! I can’t ask for any improvement even.

Presque parfait....

So far so good. The app is really good. The best I found for the price 14$ and no contracts.

Simple and effective!. This app helps me keep track of how much I need to save for larger, future expenses. Most of all, I love how much it tells me I can spend per day based on my income and monthly expenses (it’s really satisfying to watch the number grow the less I spend). Thank you for your help!

I love this app. Managing money on a daily basis make you realize everything that’s wrong about your budget.

Like it!. Helped the unnecessary spending low!

Nice. Simple app that does what it needs to do!

Super. J’adore cette application! Merci de la garder aussi conviviale.

Seems to be working for me.. I can’t seem to get the original changed over to the current app but it’s probably user error and lack of technical skills. I’m definitely more conscious of what I’m spending. Working for now.

Wow. Excellente appli!

Very simple and clean look. I love how easy and simple the concept is.

Amazingly Unique Budgeting App. What I wanted out of a budget app is to see all costs and incomes as a *daily* amount. No other app I’ve used does this, except Daily Budget. It actually lets you compare things on equal terms, and makes saving straightforward. It’s also blazing fast (even on several years’ worth of data), has intuitive controls, and offers great analytics.

Not Anymore. I used to love this app. But they changed the extra income distribution options. At the end of 2020. Making it unusable for my pay structure. Adding 5 extra steps to do something that was automatic before. I sent in a request to fix it. I stopped using the app and waiting for the fix. It’s April 2022 and still not fixed. Just checked it again. I really loved this app. But I have learned to live without it. Update to response: I requested the ability to customize the options on distributing extra income. You picked 3 arbitrary timeframes to distribute extra income when it used to automatically distributed to the current cycle. Cycles are customizable, the three distribution presets are not. Selecting the start and end dates is very cumbersome because instead of a calendar you use a scroll wheel. So I have to leave the app just to look at a real calendar. I understand I’m not in the majority so I guess who cares about me then. I paid for the app early on. It’s a hard lesson to learn for paying for an app I believed in, only to find out that the developers only believe in the majority. Lesson learned.

Simple to use. Great for logging purchases throughout the day. Then I look at everything I’ve logged and put it in my budgeting spreadsheet. I like the spending amount it gives each day

Annoyed. Can find NO WAY of viewing Past expenses That along makes it unusable

Intéressant. Jusqu’à présent je suis très satisfait. Simple et efficace

Great, but not free. It’s really great, but costs $$$.

Cool. Appli très intéressant

Très utile. Belle appli, très pratique pour suivre ses dépenses.

Super. J’adore! Facile d’utilisation!! Merci

Love this app. Love it.

Great product. Awesome! Works great, simple and straightforward. Carryover from month to month sometimes bugs.

Daily budget. Très bonne application facile à utiliser.

Super mais j’en veux plus!!!. J’adore votre application!!!! Mais j’aimerais savoir s’il serai possible d’avoir plus de catégorie dans l’onglet surplus

Excellent. Simple but does what I need it to do! Makes it very simple to track your spending.

Would have given 5 stars if...... This a beautifully designed app. Simple and intuitive. The only issue is that it has limited icons. Apart from that its perfect. P.s: if the developer could add sub categories, then it would be great too! 👍❤️

Really good to organize your budget. I liked how accurate and acceptable it was to change in the plan.

Simple. Easy to use. No compromises.. This app is super simple and down to earth. The developers constantly update it and the calculations work great.

Excellent. Excellent so far! :) I love how you can see how much money is available per day.

Simple, yet effective??. Honestly just started with the app and it's been doing it's purpose... I'd say for sure my favourite feature would be the ability to add a sudden income and distribute it throughout a week or so... Very nice :)

Get things done. Keep good track of daily spendings. Simple and intuitive.

Excellent !!. This app is an absolute breeze to use and it's perfect for anyone looking for a straightforward solution!

Second look. Looking at this app again after the launch of the new one, I’ve really come to appreciate more what this version has to offer. I’d like to see ‘‘balance’ renamed to wallet or pocket money or something and ‘daily budget’ renamed to categories, but those are just quibbles. It’s a highly functional and reliable forecasting budget tool, one of the best available.

25 ans de services financiers. Vraiment bien comme outils, pour avoir longtemps travaillé dans les services financiers je crois que cette application est un plus pour tout ceux qui ne figurent pas ou va leur argent. Permet de bien évaluer la pertinence des dépenses. Bravo ! Belle application simple !

Super. Super simple super efficace !

Simple!. If you already know what your budget is for daily spending and you just want to keep track of whether you’re overspending, this is the one!! Simple. Clean.

USEFUL!. It helps a lot!

An elegant, simple app!. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

VERY EASY TO USE!. Really easy to use!

Great way to budget & save. Simple and easy to use-keeps me on track of saving vs spending

Good app. I like

Stef. Super en plus en français et très simple et pas d’impliquer à remplir

Easy on the eyes and simple to use. Everything im looking for in a budgeting app. I also love how convenient the widget is.

Great software. Awesome app

Simple and perfect. Great little app.

Great. Great app. Simple to use

Rapide. Efficace, ça permet de vraiment faire des économies sans y toucher. Même de petites.

Great app.. will help you save a lot of money. It’s a really good app that lets you get a handle on your expenses and meet your savings target. It’s really simple and not complicated to use like some of the other ones. I wish it could like to apple wallet so it can populate some of the expenses for you though. Either way, you get used to putting in the expenses and won’t forget. Great job!!

Best budgeting app on the market!!. Simple and strait forward. I’ve tired so many budgeting apps, and none of them made sense but this one is perfect. You don’t give any bank information and it gives you a daily budget catered to your earnings, monthly payments, and whatever you want to save. Plus they make everything make perfect sense by making the app so easy to understand. Just download it trust me. There are upgrades available for extra money but some of them honestly sound like they would be worth the one time payment of $3-$10. Hands down the best budgeting app on the market!

Simple. Quick. Helpful.. I’ve tried loads of budget apps in the past but so far this one is my favorite. It is so easy and simple to set up and understand. Adding items and checking balances is very fast. It’s also great to know how much money you have left for the day to spend. When my wife asks me if she can buy something that we don’t exactly need, in a few seconds I can check the app and say with confidence whether or not it’s financially a good idea or not! Loving the app so far, my only improvement that I’d look for is when exporting the .cvs it’d be nice to have it in the same analysis format that the app shows.

Easy to use and VERY helpful. Super easy to use and keep track of your money! It would be nice to have a function to link the app to your bank account so any transactions are automatically taken into account and could maybe ask you what the purchase or deposit was for (for organization purposes) of instead of having to input them manually. Just a neat suggestion from a typical user. Aside from that it’s been GREAT! The pro pack is worth the purchase and makes the app even easier to use. Highly recommend this app if you want to keep track of your money and especially to create a budget to meet your end goals!

How to make this great app better. Please keep this app simple! The only feature I would like added is being able to delete budget categories so it is quicker to find the category I want. There are categories I don’t use so it just becomes clutter. I find the more granular the categorizing the less accountable I become. The reason I love this app is being able to customize each budget category. So maybe a wider variety of icons you could choose from? Or being able to choose a picture for the icon circle would be fun. I.e a picture of my dog for pet budget.

Helps me stick to my budget!. I’m pretty terrible with budgeting. Give me a chunk of money for the month or even the week and I convince myself to waste it all immediately. Going day by day, gaining money to work with each day, is a big help to get me in the right direction with money management. I like being able to see the accumulation for the next two days, too. The setup is really simple and easy, too. Love being able to distribute money across the week/month when I get extra. It would be super cool to be able to take a further look into the future but it’s not exactly a difficult calculation to do myself.

So far, so good. I'm a new user, but have played around with the app a bit. I like the clean and simple look of the app. I like the daily budget tool, and even though I didn't set out looking for that feature, I think it's exactly what I needed. What I thought I wanted was a budget tool that broke down my spending allowance by category. For example, I would allocate $15 a pay check for hair cuts for the family, $10 for birthday gifts, etc. This app doesn't allow that, but I think the idea behind having a daily allowance is very nice. The feature to save up is also not something I was looking for, but I'm excited to see how it works out for us as we save up for car tags. This app breaks recurring expenditures down by how much we spend on that item each day. It is so interesting to think about it that way. If the app tells me that to save 20% of my income, I'll need to set aside $1.25 a day, then it doesn't seem so daunting to do it. All in all, the daily breakdown is a fun way to look at budgeting.

Totally effective and beautiful. This is exactly what I want in a budget tracker. It doesn't try to get ambitious by connecting directly to accounts. Program it with your monthly expenses, and what percentage of your income you want to save, and it does all the work for you. The big expenditures section is my favorite part. Input the amount you plan to spend on what date, and it takes a proportional amount out of your daily budget on each day between now and then. Totally simple and totally effective. It's an absolute steal at $5 and is probably worth $20 or more.

This app has revolutionized my life.. Is there a better way to keep track of your finances? No. I have tried them all, and this method just clicks with how my brain works. Download it, learn it, and never turn back. Why four stars? Would love to see some more functionality in the reporting. Specifically, would love to click a category and see the expenses in that category. Secondly, would love to be able to keep track of budgets. For example, I know what my daily budget is, but what about my monthly grocery goals? An overarching way to set goals for specific categories and track their progress is all that is missing. Add these two things, and it’s five stars all the way.

Really great! Finally a good one!. I am on the line between organized and not, and even without purchasing features, this app has already helped me realize a few things: what I spend money on frequently, and how much I really could save with spending money. I am considering buying the complete app since it’s only $10...AND it would fit into my daily budget ;) if you struggle to keep a daily or weekly budget, this is the app for you. It even incorporates your average monthly income, gives you ability to calculate how much you need to save for a big spend, and the percent of your monthly income you’d like to save!

I have tried a lot of budget apps. This one just works. I have always been terrible with money.. like real bad I did the classic go to college get my first credit card and then maxed it out. I got my first post college real big boy job and decided that I needed to get on top of my finances. This app is so simple to use you don’t to connect it to your card or bank or anything you just put in your expenses and it’s that simple. I have been able to pay down debts and save money. If you also struggle with money you should give it a try!

Exactly What I Was Looking For. This app is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted something that could tell me how much money I should be spending each day to meet my finance goals. This does exactly that taking into account how much you make and what frequency you receive your paychecks. Other apps kept trying to link with my bank account, which was pointless to me because my bank has an app and I don’t need to have all of my information displayed that way. This was very simple and I am enjoying it so far, I’ve had it for three days.

Simple, but not very helpful. I really liked this app when I started inputting my monthly income and monthly bills. I liked being able to see exactly how much money I have each day. But my issue is one time purchases. The app gives you the option to add non-reoccurring purchases (such as groceries). What I don’t like, is how it subtracts it. Let’s say, for example, your daily budget is $10 and you spend $20 on groceries one day. The app will say that your budget for that day and tomorrow is at $0 instead of it subtracting the $20 from your monthly budget. Some days you just have to make purchases that are larger than the daily. I wish there was an option to subtract one-time purchases from the monthly total budget. Until that options becomes available, this app doesn’t have much use to me.

Been using everyday since 2017. Once i entered college and been living by myself, i had to start to pay bills like phone, gas and other necessities. At the same time it was tempting for me as a 17 year old to waste that money on other stuff. For the first 2 months i was literally BROKE every last 2 weeks of the month. That’s when i decided that i must plan on how much money i should keep for myself and how much to put aside for bills etc... I definitely recommend this app for anyone who has difficulties on how to manage his money. Once you know how to use the app, you will never worry about bills or if you have enough money or not.

Would love a never repeating option. I really enjoy this app, I began using it probably 3 or months ago and it really makes me stay on top of how much I’m actually spending. I immediately enter any purchases I make into the app. My only issue with the app is the regular income. I am paid on a two week basis however the income amount changes each pay period and thus when I have to select a repeat it screws it up, despite having selected a specific end date. I wish there was a “never” option of repeat so I could simply put in my amount for my two week period and then once that one is up, put in my next one and so on and so forth.

Great app, but any way to account for changes in income?. Love this app and definitely helps me save so much money. One issue though is is there a way to account for changes in income? In my case I get paid every two weeks but my paychecks vary between a certain amount, but definitely changes a lot when I take unpaid time off. I’ve circumvented it by subtracting the difference between my paycheck and what I usually should be getting, altho that route really puts me in the red, that or I have a bunch of random “expenses” I’ve labeled as “income adjustment”. Please I hope you have a better solution to this. Otherwise it’s a great app

It’s okay. The only reason why I say it’s okay is because I was hoping for something that I could enter what I currently have saved up but I didn’t really get that. The tutorial had me entering money in for things I don’t do like groceries. I’m only 16 and can’t even drive so some of the stuff doesn’t make sense to me. This was recommended to me by my therapist who uses it for her younger daughter. I don’t really see why she recommended it or why she uses it for her daughter who wouldn’t be doing any of this stuff except saving up. I’m just kind of disappointed that there isn’t an option for putting in what you already have, especially as a teenager who basically spends her money on food at the convenience store every now and then.

Simple. Makes tracking spending easy. Paid for the ad-free version. It’s worth it to be rid of the ads, I don’t use the extra icons. Program can be as simple or as detailed as you like. I know what my discretionary spending is a month, so I go for simple. The daily budget principle doesn’t really work for me for over all since I my spending comes more on a weekly or monthly basis. Bottom line: highly recommended. Edited: The developer contacted me following my review and informed me that in the analysis menu, there is a overview that includes the monthly budget left. Elegant, simple...now comprehensive and good service!

I never thought I could keep a budget.. After, (once again), spending all my money before payday I decided to take action. I looked for an app that could help me stay on track because I plan to move out of my mother's house in the next 2 years. What I love about this app is its transparency. You enter in your fixed expenses and what you would like to save and BAM! You get a daily budget. It's so easy and the app is so simple. Exactly how it should be. I tried using Mint, but it frustrated me too much. With this app I don't overspend. I am incentivized to underspend! I can't thank the web developers enough. This app has given me hope that I can be in control financially!

This is the budgeting app you've been looking for.. So simple. So easy. Saving money has never been more convenient. To start, you enter how much you earn. Daily Budget then breaks this down to how much you'll save daily. After this, your expenses. You get to see how much of your money goes to fixed versus variable expenses on a monthly basis. And finally, your savings goal. You decide the percentage of your income you want to save, and daily budget removes this from your discretionary spending at the beginning of every day! Out of sight, out of mind! Finally, watch your savings pile up. It's incredible just by being aware of how much you can spend daily will save you money. I highly highly highly recommend purchasing the full version of this app. You can even add the one-time $5 to your budget to make you feel better! The charts are incredible. It makes it so easy to track every transaction. Final rating, five dollar signs "$$$$$".

Only Budget App that Ever Worked. Seriously, after years of downloading apps, letting them sign into all my accounts and then tell me an even more complex version of what I already know from looking at those accounts in their native environment, this FINALLY WORKED. I like it so much and it has changed my thinking about money so much that I’m including it in a Medium article that I’m writing right now. The most important thing here is that it tells you DISCRETIONARY INCOME. It doesn’t matter what you’re spending on food, gas, and entertainment if you don’t know how much you’re allowed to spend in the first place. It only what you have left over after everything else is paid for and what your goals are. By showing you the effect of each bill and but if spending and changes to your income on our budget, your thinking immediately shifts to both a strange, simultaneous short and long term thinking regarding money. It’s pure genius and the kind of thing I’ve been looking for for nearly a decade.

Great app! Needs ONE more thing!. This app is one of the best budgeting apps out. It’s very easy to use, simplified, and doesn’t require much from the user. You enter the information, and the app does all the math! You can set reminders that will keep you on track. ONE THING NEEDED: Your budget (daily balances) will be off when entering bimonthly, quarterly, or yearly recurring expenses. Idk why but you have to enter these bills as “Big Expenses” and disperse them over the month for the calculations to be accurate. If this could be fixed, it would be great! (You can’t enter a date for savings, but it’s still functional.) 4 stars until the ONE THING is added!

Inexplicably deletes cycles and transactions.. I love the concept, and I loved the simplicity of this app. However, twice now I've lost two weeks of transactions in two separate situations. For no reason the app changes the cycle on me and transactions disappear. I then edit the cycle to fix what should have never been changed then magically the transactions come back. Then I go back in and they're all gone again as if the app refreshed effective the day you login. It's incredibly frustrating and I won't be using the app anymore. Sad because the concept is great. Also the need to dramatically improve family sharing. What's the point of the app if you're spouse/partner can't add transactions. It just doesn't function well for sharing.

I love it.. UNTIL IT DELETES (FIXED READ). UPDATE: Thank you for your speedy response! And that is the solution to my issue THANKS FOR THIS AWESOME APP! Apologies for my griping but I understand how it works now. 5 stars! This pisses me off so bad! I love this app but it just erased ALL MY DATA for a SECOND TIME! I’m done! The backup/restore method is absolute crap.. you HAVE to use a Mac and I couldn’t even get THAT to work. The instructions are for an OLD version of Mac OS. Not cool guys. What’s even the point of iCloud sync? There’s no previous data to restore from via iCloud?! Would be 5 stars but it just kills me. I entered SO MUCH DATA meticulously and it just wipes it out.

Absolutely love it. One of the first things I like about the app is that it is very easy to use. Managing your daily expenses should not be this easy! The second thing I like about it is that for such an easy to use app it does provide a ton of feature. One such feature was being able to distribute the new income. I was very impressed by it. Third thing I like about it is that its smart in a way. When you add new tags to expenses it remembers them. You can choose when your cycles start. It uses very simple transitions/guy to make the most important facts stand out.

This is exactly what I was looking for. For those who have tried Mint and are still looking for something to fix their budget and spending - I say give this a try. It gives you such an immediate clear breakdown of where your money is going on the scale that’s easiest to understand. One day. How much is that $300 car payment costing you per day? If you wanted to set aside $200 a month how much is that. Per day. But best of all it gives you your daily allowance. If your boss gave you your paycheck piecemeal with a little bit each day (and paid for all your bills equally throughout the month) this is what your money would look like. So say you make $350 a week, after any monthly normal subtractions. That would be $50 a Day. If you spend $10 on McDonald’s and nothing else you have $40 left for Sunday. But what’s amazing is it’ll show you that Monday you’ll have $90. And Tuesday $140. It’s so powerful to see exactly what you’re doing to your future balance right in the moment.

Beyond spectacular!. This app is so fantastic- as with many other reviewers, I've tried other budgeting apps like Mint. But this is the only app that actually works- when you manually enter your own expenses you have a far better idea of what's going on. It's also sort of like a fun game- it incentivizes me to spend less money on some days, have extra to spend on the weekends, and if I'm still under budget I have extra savings! EXACTLY what I need so I know whether I can afford to go out to eat or to buy a new printer or whatever. A really well thought out app! Thank you for not adding too many bells and whistles! Thanks for such a wonderful app!!

Awesome budgeting app!. This app is fantastic! It has operates in a way that I can understand. I like that we basically get a daily allowance after we have calculated our income minus our expenses. We used it for a few years and then got off because we were having issues with syncing it through Dropbox. We recently rejoined because we had missed it. It looks like they have improved the app a ton and fixed a lot of the bugs and syncing issues that we were having before. I highly recommend this app!

Very good and simple app. I have looked but haven’t been able to figure out if or how I can add extra money into savings. For example: if I don’t spend my whole grocery budget if I could add what I did not use for groceries to my savings. Very good app for budgeting! I started using it in December of 2017. It’s helped me save and budget a whole lot better. I find it very helpful to see each day how much I’ve saved and it motivates me to save More and spend less. Tip: To those who enjoy eating out every day. It gets expensive! Taking a grocery trip every week or bi weekly and putting a little extra time into meals has saved me about $15 a day. Eating out for lunch and dinner gets expensive!

So close to being amazing. I absolutely loved this app the first few days I downloaded it. I even purchased the entire add-on package it was so good. The a GUI was gorgeous, the app was intuitive, and, most importantly, it really kept me on budget. Unfortunately, it's three stars bc it's just too buggy. (1) Sometimes transactions will disappear only to reappear the next day. (2) Often times all transactions will shift and show that they occurred a day later, causing me to have to manually change all transactions to accurately reflect the date of the transaction. (3) There's something wrong with syncing that's causing the transaction shift problem I think. Oh well, maybe an update will come out fixing these issues.

Liking it so far. I've been looking for a budgeting app with a simple but ultimately useful interface and so far this app looks like it's going to be that for me. It was a bit of schlep to set up as there is no current balance setting that I can see. And I would love to have that be something that I can turn on to be displayed on the main page. That way I am able to see if the current balance that is being calculated with in the app matches that of the balance in my actual account. If that gets added, this app will easily be five stars. Oh, also better support for the iPhone XR. Some stuff is hidden behind the notch or crammed into the rounded corners.

The best way to budget. Really. The layout is very intuitive and easy to understand. The UI is simple but gorgeous. I especially like the feature of “Big Expenses” where you can plan to pay for a future big expense or make up for a big expense by distributing the cost over the next time period that you decide. You could technically do everything on this app by yourself on an excel spreadsheet but I like having the convenience and the simplicity of the UI telling me exactly how much I can spend each day in order to stay within budget.

Used to be better. I loved this app for the first year I used it. Then an update came along, and I don’t know when it happened. What did this update do? Well, I have six monthly bills that fluctuate in cost. Up until some point, I could simply enter the new month’s amount and viola! That month would change, previous months would stay at the amount I left them Same with my changing income. But now I notice that every time I do this, ALL of the previous months change. All of them. On top of that, when I realized it and made a change on this month’s income, it deleted ALL of my income records for every month I have used this app. Nearly two years. Now my backup data won’t even load. All of my budget data. Poof! It’s gone. And I paid for the full version of this app.

One of the most useful apps ever!. I downloaded and tried a few different budget apps to track our household expenses. This is the best one, hands-down. The initial setup is a little daunting but after that it's really easy to use as sources of income and regular expenses come, go, or change. Totally worth paying to unlock all the features too. The only improvement I could suggest? I would like to have multiple budgets within the app, one for household expenses and one for personal expenses. I actually divide my money into different buckets this way and it would be helpful if the app could reflect that so I don't have to use a different (worse) one for my personal stuff.

Could be better:). This is a great app, especially because it’s not asking for your personal information which makes it easier for me to trust it and it’s also so easy to use. I wish they could give you an option to manually enter your your income with exact date you get paid since not everyone is on a fixed pay. Also I wish it would ask for your total debt and loans and their due dates and would kinda give you an estimates and suggestions about when and how you will pay them off, rather than just count them as your fixed cost. If it could also include the due dates for bills and set a reminder it would be amazing.

Almost Perfect!. I love how this app lets you track what you make and what you need so effortlessly and cleanly, and that it doesn’t HAVE to be attached to a bank. Its so simple to add in extra income and expenses! I recently have been using the “big spending” to help save for an impending move. I enjoy how everything is broken down in the app, but heres where I have a few suggestions. I was confused when I said I wanted to save 100% that my daily savings didnt increase. I realized that saving 100% of extra income was going to “savings” and not being accredited to the “big spending”. Or maybe Im still confused but Im pretty sure I figured it out! It would be nice if that was an option. I could save x % of my extra income to big spending! The only other thing is I wish you could directly add any extra income (as a server my money fluctuates) to the savings. Or something like that. Ive still figured it out and have moving expenses more or less under control, which I am so grateful for. Thanks for an awesome app, helping me keep track of myself(:

One of a kind. I’ve tried multiple budgeting apps in the past which often left me unsatisfied. Most apps are over complicated and laid out poorly that I would maybe use them for a week and delete them. But as soon as I set up this app I loved it. It is extremely simple to set up and is very basic and minimal. Another perk is how it allows you to easily visualize how much money you can spend daily and still keep your head above water plus be able to save on the side. It is a perfect app for anybody or struggles with money but needs to be able to easily input and transactions and new expenses.

Great Tool for Budgeting. First thing I notice, because you have to input your spending and income manually and daily, I actually use this app everyday. I have Mint but I hardly login to look at it because it’s automated. Which is awesome but it doesn’t prevent me from overspending. With Daily Budget, your daily spending allowance is all calculated so you know if you’re in the negative or positive at a glance. I’ve only used it for 3 days and already can see how much I’m over spending. But I also know what to do to get back in balance again. It’s a great app if your serious about taking control of your finances.

Exactly what I was looking for. I’ve spent about 30 minutes looking for exactly this: an app where you manually track your money. Every other app requires you to log in, most require you to connect your bank account and give your location. This app is so simple, all you need to do it open it and you’re ready to use it. There no hassle, no ads (as far as I’ve seen), and it’s made for ease of use. I’m a 16 year old, so I don’t even have access to my bank account as I do not have a license yet. The fact that this does not require a bank account, or even an account AT ALL, makes it the perfect app for me

Feature request!. This app has changed my financial life from “I’ve shut a Tasmanian devil in the spare room and he’s contained but I don’t want to open the door” to a blissful and productive “Welcome to my home - meet my pet Tasmanian devil named Petunia” I would be so very satisfied though to be able to sort the Recurring Expenses page by daily cost! I don’t really understand the use of how it’s sorted at present, but it’s not a big deal! Thank you for giving an alternative to the way everyone else does budgeting — the details always overwhelmed me and I was lost until this app!!!

Amazing but one small request. This is the first financial app I’ve purchased that I’ve really felt to have a real effect on the way I spend my money. The daily budgets are a genius idea, and it truly feels like a game everyday to try to maintain a positive number. It is really helping me save money. I only wish there were a way to click on each item on the expenses graph to see each individual purchase under the expense categories. It’s helpful to see a total number for the month, but I’d also like an easy way to see when and where I actually spent the money.

My Banking App of Choice. I have been using this app for the past few months and can honestly say that it has been a big help in organizing my funds and realizing the money I have to play with and the money I need to be saving in my reserves. I can save money in my savings account, create a “savings” section that dictates how much needs to be saved per day, and it gives me all information in a graph/chart for my view. With this app, I can visualize what all I should be saving and if I can afford it without going over my budget for the month, while having enough money for my bills. On top of that, it connects with iCloud so I can use it on my iPad and iPhone seamlessly.

Great App but one problem..... I love this app and didn’t realize how much I needed it! It really helps me visualize my spending & saving trends. I like how it can show you how saving will give you more money in the future. One thing I am frustrated with is that it seems like I can’t get my “big expenses” to be taken out of my daily budget on the balance screen. I’m pretty new at this, so maybe I missed something... but the big expenses seem to only appear in the transaction section. Unfortunately, this is a pretty major setback as it affects my budget and savings, ultimately showing me that I have more money to spend than I actually do.

Love this app! I use it daily!. I really love the UI on this app, but some parts confuse me on how it works and even with set up help, I have some pretty complex questions. I just don’t understand how some things work (for example, for my savings do I have to pull out that amount at the end of the year? Or put into savings each month on my own??), but this app has helped me be better about budgeting and keeping track of finances without being super complicated and intense like Mint or other ones. I treat it as a mostly accurate guideline, and I’ve been happy with it! I do wish there were more features but I understand how that could complicate things!

This app is a lifesaver!!. I love this app! The simplicity of it is what grabbed my attention and it’s really helping me save. It has never been so easy until now! I love knowing how much I can spend per day. I just want to give some suggestions. It would be great to be able to input your exact bills along with due dates and get reminders. Also add a function to manually enter the amount paid every paycheck. For example, on the first paycheck of the month I get paid $778. My second paycheck I get paid $1,500, and then the app can help you budget biweekly as well. Thanks!!

So useful!. This app is helping me get on track with strict budgeting. I like that it gives me a daily spending “allowance”. It’s so easy to just swipe a credit card, but when you look at what you have in your virtual wallet, it feels like there’s more accountability in not spending beyond your means. One suggestion I have is that if I go into the negative in my spending for the day, that it deducts the difference from my allowance the next day. Like if I have 10 dollars but I spend 12, then the next day, the balance is 8. Not sure if there’s already an option for this but I couldn’t seem to figure it out if there was. Thanks for a great app!

Helps you be Accountable. This app turns my financial life into a game that I feel I can win. The apps core design helps curb temptation and rewards you for being frugal. It forces you to type out every recurring bill and one time purchases big and small, and allows you to put a percentage of whatever income you have into your savings. Every dollar you get is immediately assigned so you have no temptation to use money that you have no business touching. Whatever is left over from savings and bills, is what I like to call 'fun money'. It feels really good to watch this fun money grow as if I was playing a clicker game. Daily Budget really works and it's core design sets it apart from other apps.

App that puts money in ur pocket. This app is the real deal. I only wish I downloaded it sooner. I went from constantly being in overdraft in my bank accounts to having thousands and thousands of dollars in my savings. It does all the math for you so all you have to do is stop buying stuff when the app tells you to and watch the money grow!!! It's a simple and effective app that has literally saved my "financial" life. I tell everyone i can about it because it's the best app I've ever purchased. I even had a question for the developers and they responded right away. Thank you to the creators of this.

Dark Mode could use an adjustment. Big fan of the app, not so big on the new dark mode update. I usually use dark mode for everything, but don’t like the way they updated it here. Dark mode is nice when it’s made up of darker toned colors, not a complete blackout. 1. There should be a way to revert back to the original style. The app seems to just pull whatever your iPhone settings are set as and using that. I can’t find an option to revert in any of the settings. 2. I like the orange and blue default screens. An ideal dark mode would be just changing the white transaction detail screens to a gray. Maybe have multiple options available in the settings in the future?

Take control of your budget. I use this app everyday! It's empowered me to manage my budget and track personal expenses. I like the fact it doesn't sync with my bank account; it forces me to log my expenses one by one, building discipline. Because the app has such a beautiful UI, the job of keeping track of expenses is more pleasurable than painful. The few times I've emailed questions, I've received immediate responses despite the company being located across the pond. Try it out! Be warned: half the work is up to you; the other half is taken care of!

LOVE IT. So being a millennial who thought college was a good option and then didn't want to get that Liberal Arts degree, things are tight in the budget. And with every bank having its own app where it's so easy to transfer money, I wanted something else to look at what I spend my money on. The app is so simple. It makes it easy to see how much you can spend each day without worrying about what's in your bank account. I've been using it for a little over a month and it's made my life much easier. I've managed to put money in savings and leave it there!
