User/newbie friendly with robust free features!. I really can’t say anything bad about this app. I’ve tried coming up with something, and I can’t. The interface is intuitive and easy to learn, the options you get as a free user are robust for quick and simple video editing, the app runs fast and stable, and ads/watermarks on the free version aren’t terribly intrusive or obnoxious. I originally downloaded Videoshop along with a bunch of other video editing apps just to make one short arts/crafts video tutorial/timelapse with subtitles without having to move my iPhone recordings to desktop AfterEffects. Videoshop’s free features gave me ALL the tools I needed and more; it made the job so easy that I’m motivated to do more! What can I say, it’s just the best free iPhone video editing app if you’re not doing anything super intensive. The extra Pro features ARE pretty great though, and I can definitely see myself getting a Pro subscription very soon, as I definitely plan on recording more now that Videoshop has shown me how easy editing on a phone can be. Many thanks to the devs for their hard work at making a great quality app that is convenient and accessible. Keep up the great work!

Pretty Good 👍🏻😁. This app is pretty good. For free, it gives you some choices of songs, sounds, stickers, colors and fonts of text, and of course the basic editing tools, trim, speed, voiceover, etc.. You can also upgrade to the premium version for what I consider a relatively high price. Premium does include many more perks such as Chroma Key and the ability to combine videos. The quality of the app is overall good, although when editing very long videos it does tend to lag and get off the app some. However I have not experienced this much when I’m editing videos under 30 minutes or so. I would very much appreciate it if Videoshop would add some more sounds to the app, as I find the collection a bit lacking. They did have some of the basic sounds but I would love to see some more. Specific ones I’d like to see added are; Cartoon tiptoeing, Cough, and Footsteps. Overall I think this app is very good and would suggest it above almost all of the others 👍🏻

Amazing app! 🔥💯👏💪. I have been a user of this app since late 2016 and I gotta say!! There has not been any other app like this one ☝️ the abilities and easy format makes my social video look like I did them on a program like Final Cut Pro! In fact they have been done through this app my little secret...! recently I had a issue I purchased a new phone I had to transfer all my old apps to my new phone and this one is one of my favorites I had a issue with my account and thought I lost my pro account I reached out to the admin by e-mail and boom!! I got a response quick and fast 💨 I could not believe how fast not only did they fixed my issue they also we’re easy to communicate! You don’t get this courtesy from developers! I’m very happy with app period!! User if you are looking to be creative and want to do a quick video with music and transition and upload to your other social media accounts this is your app! Trust me I tried others and this one is by far the best experience I had love it Thank you for making this awesome app!

Superior Editing Software. In my opinion, Videoshop is superior to other editing softwares. It provides a plentiful of features compared to competitors. I believe it has amazing potential, albeit there are a few concerns of mine. Firstly, it has been a large quantity of time since the store first began maintenance. Albeit I have acknowledged that the developers are had at work. My second concern is the price of the transactions. Luckily, I purchased the life-time license before the price was altered. I simply believe a price close to $100 is not applicable for a mobile editing software. Especially if it is not at its full potential. Despite those concerns I obviously have some positive input. Like I stated earlier, Videoshop has professional-like editing features such as distortion, lip syncing, and many fonts and transitions. Overall, it is a good editor. It is better than some of its competitors. But I don’t believe it’s price is justified, as it still needs to be updated.

UBER. Riquelme. I have been using this app since you posted in the store during the time you paid you parents mortgage. A very special video that was. I should be considered a grandfather by this time since I was one of your first supporter. They are frailties that I used to have that I no longer have unless I buy Pro. I don’t think that’s right. I think you should of stay real the way you were a great developer. The rest of this review bellow I wrote a while back. Please Riquelme make things right. VideoShop is loyal to longtime users!!. I purchased VideoShop back in 2015 and have used the app religiously as my only video editor (it’s way better than the current version of iMovie) throughout the years the app has grew into quite a remarkable resource and tool for me, every update adding something new, fixing bugs, and improving a already near perfect app for me. During the pandemic in 2020 I found myself using VideoShop A LOT to keep myself productive and creative. However after one particular update I found myself logged out and restoring my purchases wasn’t working. I quickly emailed VideoShop Support of my situation and they honored my original 2015 purchase (when the app was under $5) and have Grandfathered me into the Pro Features for life! I’m so happy with their understanding and quick actions to get back to editing my home videos! Best video editor on iPhone period! (Seriously though why is iMovie sooo underwhelming and bear bones?? VideoShop is a 3rd party company outshining Apple’s own video application!) 10/10!!

Why?. This is a great and easy app to use for any pro or new comer alike to edit your own videos. I been using it for years now and it’s my go to when I piece together my videos. It’s easy to add clips and pics. And easy accessibility to add your music from your device. Having said all that after all these years now the app is taking functions from inside which were always there and now making them pro/paid functions. Why now after all this time? It’s like buying a game and then years later they block multiplayer and you gotta buy it back to unlock it. Not only that but instead of a one time purchase they went the route of a monthly subscription. And to me the price is not worth it. Some might argue the little functions they now blocked under their paid subscription is nothing your gunna miss or need. However later down the road you will need it at some point like myself. Still a good app without paying but take in mind what you need to edit your videos before considering a pro subscription.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS APP!!!!. Ok so here’s a new update: for one: most features even basic are now for sale only and the price is not very competitive in comparison to other apps most of which are near free. It’s more confusing with new design. And finally: I just spent hours working on the video but just as I was about to save it - it got rearranged to half way edited... how????? Idk but I just know that I had to do all the work again! Seriously - do not recommend this app. At all. The app itself as ok level at its best. However even for simple functions that in other apps come for free - the will charge you a substantial amount of money while still making you wAtch ads right in the middle of editing process. Example: to zoom in in one shot you have to make a stand-alone purchase of the said functionality (ken burns tool) for $7’99 to use it this once! Or pay over $80 for a lifetime purchase... we are talking about just this one tool. Not the complete package. Not the entire app. Funny enough I had already purchased the app before and guess what ? Doesn’t count now. They demand more money and my purchase was simply rendered invalid. Looks a lot like a scam. NOT RECOMMENDING IT FOR PURCHASE. There are other editing apps with better functionality and reasonable prices.

Must Have Video Editor. Found an editor that has all the things I need and doesn’t change the size of your video (iMovie 😤). I can add videos and images together. More than trim and split, I can cut (which iMovie does too) too and it’s free. On other video apps you have to pay for this feature. They have a lot of free features available to use! You can use their sound effects or use your own playlist. You can adjust the length, volume and speed for the sound effects, music, videos and even photos! Their UI is incredibly easy and you don’t ever have to look up how to something. I’m seriously amazed! If you want to adjust something you added to the video without clicking on the music icon which prompts you to add, you can click on the green or purple respective icons above. I’m sooooo happy and it’s made editing so much easier. Before I’d have to switch across 5 or 6 different apps and now I can use 1. Thanks sooooo much!

Concerns About Music. This is my first time ever writing a review on an app but this app is just too good. The editing is not complicated, it’s actually very easy and fast. The app is also super easy to navigate through. Though this app has various desirable assets though, I do have a few concerns about what is given to you by the app. I understand that you can use music you have already purchased from iTunes and etc, but I would like a more wide range of free music. The big reason behind this is because when I looked to the music shop via the app, I tried buying music but because of no testing option to test it on my video instead of just simply hearing it, I was thrown off if it would be good or not for my format. I bought two songs and to my disappointment, I didn’t like them. Another reason why is because I know of many famous royalty free songs that I think should be offered, for example, let’s take a popular song played in many videos, Wii Music, it would be awesome to see that on the app. I understand why this could be complicated to initiate but I hope you take this into consideration. Thank you if you’re reading this!

Stunning app. Everyone on the planet must download.. This app is the single best video editing app on the entire app/playstore. I’ve been using it for nearly a year and two months now, and it’s amazing. I use it daily, and absolutely love it. I’m astonished at all the features you get while it’s still free too. I just decided to purchase the full version about ten minuets ago, and I guarantee it will have been the right decision. The only complaint is the video cropping feature, which is the main thing I use it for. I really wish that you could turn off how it snaps into place cuz sometimes it crops out part of the video. I would also like it is y’all would add more aspect ratio options and a custom aspect ratio option. Also more frame rate options would be good too like 24fps, 90 fps, 120fps and 240fps. Besides that, this app is totally flawless. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Used to be amazing... now I’m missing features and can’t get a response from the developer.. I’ve been using videoshop for several years now. I even paid for “coins” several years ago that allowed me to buy clips and sound effects. I was having issues with the app not importing my videos so I could edit them so I deleted the app and re-downloaded it. I lost all of the clips that I had paid for and can’t even access that area of the app anymore. It has said it’s “under construction” for more than a year. I have tried to reach out to the developer by email at least 4 times and have never received a response. This app is also glitchy. Several times my videos have failed to save to my camera roll saying there “isn’t enough space” when my ipad has more than half of its memory available. Additionally, it will often fail to import videos which is what led me to delete and re-install the app in the first place. For basic editing it’s fine, but they have severely increased the price in recent years. It would be nice if they would keep basic functionality for the app for those who have been loyal users for years... or at least respond to emails.

Fantastic App for Finishing Animations. There are many animation apps available, but free or paid, subscription or one time cost, new or old, I've yet to find one able to import more than one frame (picture) from photos at a time. So if you use a dedicated app to create each of your frames (a must for complex animation images, as all in-app drawing and editing tools for all animation apps fall far short) then you must import them one at a time. At 30 frames a second, that can mean thousands of imports...one by one. It's excruciating, and a huge waste of time. Videoshop, however, lets you import dozens, even hundreds of frames ALL AT ONCE. By reducing the play speed of all frames to a tenth of a second, exporting the video, reimporting it, then accelerating it to 3X...boom, it plays perfectly! Discovering this has already saved hours. Now if the devs would just publish the pixel size of each of the three available screen configurations, and add an option to reduce play rate down to 1/3 of a second, it would be awesome. But even as-is, this has been a huge help!

Great for new users and worth the price (updated reasoning). Well i have used this app for years i have videos from freshman year in my photos from when i originally bought the app i loved it its perfect for the smaller things i do on my phone i was here before ken burns and buying clips and even some of the older features and then one day an update came and i lost access to the features i used regularly i was almost unphased because i thought they wouldn’t make me repay the original price of 5$ i payed but of course this was not the case i hope to find another one and done payment for an app that does something similar to this app but i doubt it this app was great for sure and is great for those who don’t mind paying monthly Sincerely -One of the oldies Wow well came back from my little video escapade to find that the developer still has love for the people still around and downloading it back again and using all the features i have to say this is hands down something you should buy the premium version of 60$ a year that’s well worth what your getting love the app love the developer i wish i could recommend more then 5 stars

You have to pay!. I used to love this app a lot but then they changed like all of the features to be like for the pro and also they raised the price went from I don’t even know what it was before but it was pretty cheap my sister got it and then they changed the price which I did not like it like for the pro version they changed the price and I just think that’s really stupid because I feel like everybody loved it before also they used to have so much music that you could just like do you whatever you wanted like all of it most of it was free and then recently they changed it you have to like have the subscription in order to do the music and you could only do a clip of the music if you didn’t have a subscription but I think it’s really stupid so i’m right now looking for a new editing app because this is just like not I don’t like it anymore so please unless you were willing to pay for this app I wouldn’t suggest getting this also please fix this I know it’s not a glitch but just like don’t can you remove this feature please because it’s just kind of annoying and I loved it much better when it was when most of it was free I feel like you’re gonna keep losing people wanting to try your app because you have to pay $90 if you want a subscription for eternity which I think is very stupid it’s too much so yeah please.

Overall pretty good. I loved the app for a while I used it to make little documentaries and just little videos to watch over and over there were so many options for music and fonts. I used this so much the storage on the app was all used up. I almost bought the year long thing for more music and just more everything. One day I saw that they were gonna update the app and I got excited, I hoped they were gonna add more music, sounds, fonts, etc. When I went back on the app after the update I found that it was less affordable, not as much music, fonts, sounds, etc. To get all the good songs you had to pay or earn it by making more videos which I didn’t have the storage to do. I stopped using the app as much and stopped recommending it to people. I was very disappointed. I loved the app before, now I would say try it but it isn’t as great as it sounds.

Great Editing app. Just some recommendations for future updates.. I have tried to download many editing apps, but none of them suited me until I saw this one. I did not know how to use this at first, but it was an easy to learn process. I love how most of the tools and features are free. There are a couple little things about this app that bugs me. I find becoming a pro is a bit pricey. I for sure think that becoming a pro is worth it and helps make the experience a lot more interesting. When I was reading about the new update, I do not know what a text to text speech is but it sounds like it would be fun. If you could make it a little bit clearer on how to find it that would be awesome. I was not sure why right when I got this app it said that I did not have enough disk space. It eventually got better, but even after you make a few videos, it says that the space is low. My videos and photos have gotten so much better with this app, and I 100 percent recommend it to you all if you want to make boring photos and videos look cool. I have never seen an editing app this fun.

Add this in(Please Read)!!!!. I think this a great app, to edit videos on, but there are definitely more things that could be added, but I don’t mind. Except I do want one thing, and that should be added, I want an option to resize a clip, but not the video itself. I want this because I don’t want to go through the hassle to separate one clip from the others, just so I can resize it. Re-Edit(2019): I’ve noticed I can resize clips, by zooming in n’ out with the resize button(I don’t remember the app having the ability to do that before in 2017, but it is what it is) I find that quite useful! But what I really had in mind, was the ability to zoom in n’ out of the frame, IN MOTION(What I mean, is an animation that would zoom either in or out, I’d ALSO like this animation to slowly or quickly, zoom in n’ out, based on the preference of the user). Instead of a sudden transition of the size of the frame. It’d be a DELIGHTFUL feature to be added!

What happened to all the Font/type features. I love this app hands down, it’s been the best for quick video with decent quality editing. In April 2018 when I last made a video noticed that things hadn’t changed yet, I loved this app and the font, type, and effects feature. But when I updated, there’s no more options for effects for fonts. It just says “ Outline or Fade” when it use to have so many options! There’s fade transitions for the words appearing and disappearing, but I no longer can make the words have shadows, add gradients, different outline thickness, opacity for borders or shadows of the letters, different colors for shadows and boarders, time the fade ins/outs the amount when it comes to those effects- just really specific stuff I could do to the words I was typing into the video slides, and those options were awesome! Is there an update to bring that old feature back? It was the same for the longest time, I’ve been using this app for two-three years and I miss the options.

Forever and Always. This is surely, truly, the best if not the greatest app to edit or record videos. Love it and I'm sure others will too The message above was an old message I posted and that feeling hasn’t changed, although, much like one user had wrote, I too had the pro access before this upgrade. I understand ever since I downloaded the company has been without a doubt tremendously growing and that is without a surprise. With the amazing features and accessibility, and simple usage is remarkable, yet despite all that, paying for something I already had since day is something I will not do. If there’s anyway I can maintain full access to all features, I would very much appreciate that. Otherwise thank you guys at Videoshop for developing this amazing and enjoyable app for all editors. It has helped me accomplish a lot of videos throughout my school years and I am sure many more will have the same experience I’ve had with Videoshop. For those who are reading this, IT IS WORTH IT!!

Why does it keep deleting everything? Over storage?. I like this app but, I keeps deleting my progress and all my creations and won’t stop talking about storage and it’s about to delete my 1 to 2 hour project it like that long to make it and if I edit it will soon be deleted as long If I keep editing it, and I can’t make it again because “storage” so, I can duplicate entire projects why can’t I add one second videos? I literally can’t even speed things up even though it removes storage space I might as well just ignore it I like the app it just doesn’t make sense sometimes now please help and remove space limits and actually check how much more my iPad can inhale, please. also, this was written by the account owners son, so I am a kid and I wrote all of this well typed it, again please fix also I leave the 4 star rating because it would be impossible for me to really do anything on it ok um again please fix also I know it’s for like space but I don’t to go around on my iPad deleting everything for this one app, again please fix, um would it be better if I said please delete or reinstall space function um ok just do something that might help ok?

And the Oscar for best picture goes to me!. My friends family and especially my dog club they all think I’m some sort of social media genius after they watch my vids made with videoshop. I’m not real tech saveybut i have them fooled with my ability to make pretty great vids if i say so myself. The options of photos and or videos are endless. you can trim change speed and add some of the funniest snippets of movies or tv shows and even some famous catch ohrases like “i’ve fallen and i can’t get up! kits if filters and i just kearned the ken burns edit feature and now i’m a cinematographer too! I’ve tried about every editor out there and this is by far the most comprehensive understandable editor out there. if you’re new or not technical or a IT wizard this is a great app to start making the videos that will surprise and entertain all who watch them.

Amazing!. This app is great and I couldn’t imagine how I would edit videos without it! I don’t mind waiting about 2 minutes for a 4-5 minute video, it’s only a few minutes of your life. This app can do all sorts of things like: Trim video, add text, add music, change the color and more! If you are thinking about getting this app it is free and great. Thank you developers, this app is truly mind blowing. Sorry I don’t have much to say, like other reviews. But I am not false. People may dislike the app because they can’t save, click share scroll down and it will say “or save to camera roll” click that! Oh, more abilities cost money? You can work with all the splendid things you have. A long wait for videos? Do something else while waiting! Video doesn’t save when close the app while the video is loading? Don’t close the app when it’s loading! I truly love this app again, thank you.

Needs some simple updates and clearer instructions. After using the free version of the app for a while, I decided to purchase the monthly subscription. I was excited to be able to use the simple features like motion text. However, was disappointed to discover there seems to be no way to use the “effects” in text along with “motion” text. It’s an either or situation. At least, not that I’ve been able to figure out. Which brings me to my other point, maybe there is a way but there’s also no instructions or tutorials anywhere of how to use the features. Also, when adding a backdrop to a video, if I want to impose a video on top of the background...so you know the background is IN THE BACKGROUND, it defaults for me to choose it from my camera roll instead of letting me take a clip I’ve already edited and added text, stickers etc to and placing it on the background. I’m glad the first three days are free...will probably cancel before free trial ends because I’m not sure what my $4 a month is getting me. If I’m not doing something correctly, please someone enlighten me. I really want to like this app. It seems very user friendly; but it’s just falling short right now.

Love this app but a few things need to be fixed. I love this app but when I tried to pin a ImageYou cannot remove the pinned image and so you have to delete the video and then start all over with the editing that you have already done which is very annoying. I have been working for with this app for about a year now and this is by far the most annoying thing. This app is great except for the pinned option because not only you can’t remove a pinned image but the image also has to be in the frame the full video and even if half of the thing you were trying to pin an image on is half in it will not work if it goes out of frame just a little bit more and then you have to repaint it and it just gets very annoying because sometimes it doesn’t always go in the paint area it goes in different areas. This app is great if you are a new time editor but if you are getting more advanced this app is not the best app especially if you’re using the free version.

Disappointed. I have been trying to search for a good and easy to navigate video editing app for years. I have gone through countless apps and ended up deleting them after a few days. After stumbling upon videoshop, it looked promising and was not expensive for the full features so I got it. It became my absolute FAVORITE! I’ve used this app for probably over 4 years and it never disappoints. A year ago, I upgraded to a new phone. I was so excited to continue editing videos on a phone that doesn’t eat the battery and heat up. Upon opening the app, I discovered that a lot of the features were locked. I tried to restore purchases, but nothing happened. I looked around and saw that in order to receive all the “pro features,” I had to pay an additional $90 when I had the full version to begin with? I am so disappointed and upset. I emailed their support and was ignored. It has been about 8 months since my email and I have not gotten a response back. I sent another one, but since I was ignored for so long, I’m not sure this issue of mine will be resolved.

Amazing. It has good tools and almost everything is free which makes it affordable for everyone. It doesn’t take forever to upload or input. Maybe put more music options because I am finding it hard to pick one for my video also maybe adding some longer song options would be helpful. Still on the songs maybe being able to customize your own song would be incredible I know that’s a lot to ask for so I don’t expect it to be added, just an idea! I’ve looked through many apps for editing and this has been my favorite especially because the watermark is small but visible. People watching the video can still see it but it’s not in the way, some apps I have used have had humongous watermarks at the bottom of the screen and it’s so annoying to add text and other pictures. Trimming can be a little confusing because you can only really cut off the ends of something or the beginning I would like to be able to cut off in between things and if there’s a way to do that I still haven’t figured it out yet. One more thing about the music I like how you do the option to fade in and fade out it makes it sound like it flows and not all clumped and chunky if you will. I would definitely recommend this app to anybody who is it looking for an editing tool. Thank you so much to video shop for making this app free and easy to use I really appreciate it!

Sis. This DOES add up.. Hello! I payed to buy this app awhile ago for the fact it didn’t put watermarks on the videos I made and such and now with this new update I have to pay to remove it. I’m upset because the whole reason I bought the app was for its features but now it’s all taken away from me which is kind of upsetting because I didn’t pay 4-5$ to just get watermarks and only have access to a few things. It’s just annoying. And Apple doesn’t let you refund stuff so I guess I just put money into an app that turned into the opposite of what I wanted. Anyways all I’m asking is that people who have bought the app before should at least get a free month of the premium or just get the premium... (I don’t remember how much this app costs but it’s probably free now) -•- Update: just read other people’s comments about pro. So if we bought the app we DO get premium? -•- Update #2: omg god bless I did finally get pro. Thank you Videoshop team!

Long Time User. I don’t even remember how long I been using this app, but I gotta say it’s the best one I’ve ever tried. Once I got used to it an learned how to at least complete a video then it was just a matter of time before I stepped up my quality an now I’m making videos that even impress myself lol, and I still don’t know how to do everything. I wish there was a video that teaches you how to use every feature on this high quality app. But right now it’s the best one I’ve ever used and I knew that the day I got my free trial. You would think you couldn’t make that many videos and you wouldn’t use it that much but I use it ALL the time and like I said, I’m impressed every time! Thank You for such a great app! I wrote that almost 2 years ago give or take a year... it’s still the most user friendly out of all others out their and I’m still making before and after vids of my companies work, not to mention I’m working on a full length movie just to push myself into other things. This app is worth every bit of change it cost to own it... I can’t say enough good things. One thing an I’m sure it’s on me, I can’t seam to get in their little store/mall thing it has. Disappointed. I’ve had this app for about 4 years and never needed to upgrade to the pro version until last year I started editing more videos and needed the pro stuff so I decided to buy the pro life time version but I made a big mistake and bought the pro version for only one year however after I bought it there was nothing for me to do so I kept it thinking of upgrading to life time the next year which is next month, so I come to the App Store ready to buy the life time version and found out that the price went up 20 dollars which I think is fine the App is a great app is fine for new people downloading the App now, I just think it’s not fair for me to pay 90 dollars when I’ve been using this app for so long and after buying one year by accident I was really looking forward to pay 69 dollars which was the price when I bought it for one year by accident, is there anything the developers can do to help me out? I really don’t want to delete this app I love it

Absolutely Beautiful. This app has helped me so much in the past 3 years I’ve had it. I was in charge of creating a film recapping the success of my Cross Country team for every year. My latest one was such a huge success, the school officials told me “That was the best video I’ve ever seen.” I love how many features the app gave me to help finish every film. The impose tool itself saved me hours of editing. When I came back last summer for my next video, I was really upset to see the new micro transactions be put into place. The $90 price tag for the Permanent Bundle was a real slap to my face. I can at least understand that this app is made to be used professionally, and it really holds up to its rating. Once again, I love this app with all of my heart for being able to share my talent with others. The prices may only be a setback for me, but it won’t stop what I love to create.

Amazing, but... I love Videoshop. I’ve been using it for four years, give or take. I bought it back when it was five bucks and have never once been disappointed with it. Any bugs or crashes have always been fixed and the app just kept getting more and more advanced, which made me extremely happy. But.. recently I had a mishap with my Apple ID, it was a whole ordeal and I ended up losing that entire account and needing to reset my whole phone, therefore losing everything I had with this app. I’ve re-downloaded it only to discover I have to pay to get my feathers back. I’m a student who uses this app for just about everything, there’s nothing it can’t do for me. So, you could imagine my frustration. However, I still love this editor and could never find another one like it. Once I got used to the layout, I was obsessed, and started making projects out of random things on the daily. It’s a tad upsetting, and I’m very strongly thinking of reaching out to the wonderful developers to see what they can do for me. Other than my unfortunate mishap, you will NOT regret downloading this app.

Pro or no?. I have been using Videoshop since the very early days. It’s been at least 4 years, and I love this app. It has the easiest interface and it has so many possibilities in the creation of video projects. However, I have a few inquiries concerning the newest update. I was thrilled as I read through it’s description, but I’m failing to understand the “pro” aspect. I am most certainly an “Old user”, but I don’t see anything about the pro-status within the actual app. I was also unable to find a place where I could purchase the pro-status if I didn’t have it. I’m confused as to what I’m now able to access, and I also don’t understand whether or not my pro-status will stay forever, or if I will have to buy something, which is undesirable as I have been a loyal user for years and I paid the original price of five dollars in the early days. It seems as if another purchase won’t be necessary from me, according to the description, but I am still unsure. Thank you for your time, and please keep up the good work and helpful updates. I love this app and I will never stop using it.

Oldie :). I have been using this app for around 3.5 years. It offered so much at the time in terms of freedoms, super advanced. The cut and split options really blew my mind. During that time I never felt the need to use the community options and never made an account. (But I was grandfathered in with Pro with new updates.) Nevertheless I love Videoshop. I have to cheat on this app with a few other editing apps for things such as green screen masking, more text transitions, and some other small capabilities. But other than that this app is stupendous. It was worth every cent I paid so long ago (what I remember being < ~$5). However, seeing the drastic price change (really $80!?) makes me sad and a bit nervous. I’ve transferred phones before and worried about my main video editing app being changed. But all worked out, pro features were still available but if I delete the app will my privileges be revoked? If I make an account right now on Videoshop will I still be pro or...? I really hope I hear word back... Please keep up the good work!

Love the new update. The new update organizes everything well, and there’s new audio tracks which are always helpful too! I’ve used Videoshop since its very beginning, and it has always been my number one choice for video editing. I use Videoshop because it is VERY user friendly, and it has a lot of capabilities, which are two things that I have never been able to find together in other software. There are, however, certain limitations to this software that I would like to see change in the future. What I mean by this is mainly special effects. This app has a wide range of sound effects, but little to know special effects besides filters. I believe that Videoshop has the potential of becoming a software that is capable creating/adding in a wide range of muzzle flashes, lightsaber blades, explosions, etc! It would be nice if this could become a reality, as I currently have to use multiple apps to create an action short film. I also think that Videoshop could one day become an application for Macs/PCs. If this were to happen, I would be the first to use it, because I need quality and user friendly software that is capable of creating longer videos. Thanks! And keep up the good work.

Features taken away from. I PAID for this app in July of 2014 and have been using it for the past 5 years, it’s a real time passer and great for making memories, I have made so many viral videos and memes using this app exclusively because it was so user friendly compared to other apps, but after I got a new phone I re-downloaded it and went to make a video and realized some of the most important crucial features were missing, specifically a sound feature that kept me from finishing my video, when I checked into it I realized they wanted $90!! To get back most of the features I ALREADY paid for on a simple video editing app, I noticed i’m not the only one having this issue either, in conclusion some of us paid for an app with certain features and then had those features striped away for them to be offered back to us at 20x what We originally paid for them. It’s like buying a fully loaded car for and then the dealership took your car back and took all the features out and gave you back the car and then said hey if you want your sun roof and heated seats back you have to give us more money.

VideoMall crashing?. Update: My issues were fixed in the recent update. I don’t use the app often but my VideoMall sign-ins cause the app to crash. If I don’t sign in then functionality is reduced. I understand the developers need to earn revenue to support the continued maintenance of the app. I think it’s unreasonable for those who paid $5 a decade ago to expect it be free for life. That isn’t a sustainable business model and without one the app becomes abandonware. That said, I am one of the grandfathered people and would like some direction from the devs on what steps to take. Best practice would be to discontinue upgrades to the existing app and start a subscription model on a new version and give people the option to remain or upgrade. Again, there’s no free ride in life. At ones workplace when we update projects our employees don’t expect (nor would we) do the task without pay. I suspect the devs are trying to create a long-term biz model to make the app viable. Remember folks, when we purchased this app the devs only got 70% of every dollar. The rest goes to Apple.

Just got the app and so far so great!!. So I just got this app and when you open it up it starts getting fun. You can create a video or use one. I used one. Since I have no clue what I was doing, i decided to try somethings out. I learned how to copy a video. And that’s it. It was a little challenging. But I’m getting better each time. I love this app and so far this is the best app on my devise. There’s nothing I dislike about it!! I’m not being nice, I’m not being anything to make you happy. I’m serious! This is the best app I’ve ever played. And it’s good to here that from someone like me. The only thing that kinda disappoints me is how expensive the life time pro is! Who can afford that!! Disappointed. But then they fixed it!. I am incredibly let down. I loved this app for YEARS AND YEARS (coming up on 4 now) and have loved all of the editing tools that came with it. I was nervous to buy it at first because it was more than a dollar and therefore out of my 12-year-old comfort zone but was immediately so glad I made the decision to buy. I used it constantly for years onward. Flash forward to now, when I bought a new phone and lost a few apps. I redownloaded it and was immediately shocked by the fact that I had to pay $90 once in order to use all of my old favorites? I am so disappointed because this is the only software I have been able to use to create videos for school and for pleasure. Making videos is a passion and major stress-reliever for me, and God knows I needed it this year. I also had not made a Videomall account in the past because, as previously hinted at, I didn’t purchase much. However I just made one and am hoping I will be able to be “grandfathered” as the other lucky long-time users have. I can send you proof of how long I’ve been using the app if necessary. I hope you wonderful people at Videoshop won’t disappoint. UPDATE!!! The wonderful people at Videoshop have listened and given back all the wonderful things I previously had access to. Videoshop Review By Max. Videoshop is by far the best video editor app I’v ever used. I have but only a few minor flaws with the app. 1. I think they should add more music tracks like maybe cinematic music or movie trailer music because I’m really in to making those. 2. Make the store for videoshop bigger. There are a lot of memes that still haven’t been added there yet that we could use. 3. Maybe add some special effect into the app. Think about it. You can add explosions, aliens, monsters, lighting, power beams, anything that you can just put in there that can make your video or movie more exciting. We already have the sound affects now add the special. Maybe people that work for this app can possibly see this review and slip this suggested stuff into their amazing app to make it even better. Other than that I love everything else in videoshop the way it is. If your reading this review and you have iPhone the $1.99 is definitely worth it for this app. I have changed my review to 5 stars after thinking about how good videoshop is.

My go to app for videos. I’m willing to pay for apps that include excellent content, but video shop includes everything for free. I have a premium membership that allows me to download my videos in 4K, but you can download your videos in 1080 P for free. Using a lot of the other high rated apps is a bunch of baloney most of the time because they want to charge you for every little thing that video shop offers for free. You can do so much with it like easily cut, split, and change speed of video. Uploading and knitting together video is extremely easy, I like the video quality of the finished product because it doesn’t lose any of the quality. You can add stickers to your videos, do voice recordings, but my only wish is that the music and soundtrack menu would come out more quickly, and that there was more variety in the noises categories. You can also change the display settings of your videos like saturation, brightness, pretty much like you can with photos. I am very pleased with it and it’s the only video editing app I have used for many years so far.

No info or instruction on tools ANYWHERE. Why does it take so long to pin something on your video when it takes Instagram seconds! I sat my phone down for half an hour before hitting cancel. (iPhone 7plus) Is it trying to pin the gif to my entire 15min video? There isn’t any length setting like with just an overlay or text...speaking of gifs (not pinned), it’s impossible to edit where the gif starts and stops in its cycle in your video so it just ends up looking bad starting and stopping half way through a cycle (if that makes sense.) I’ve been a monthly subscriber for a long time and was excited about some new tools but this app is beginning to not be worth the monthly charge. Especially when there are so many others. How can an app get more complicated and buggy with every update? Why is there no instruction on each function anywhere? I don’t need my hand held but it would be nice to get some info if I’m stumped on how a function works or what it is doing that takes it SO long. I’ll give it until the end of this billing cycle and move on.

Will I have to pay for pro eventually?. I have had this app for about 4 years and I still use it extensively to this day. I absolutely love this app and it’s really easy to use and has an extent of simple and powerful features. It’s an absolute must have for people with a drive to create content on their more accessible devices without beefy computers. With the recent “pro” additions and the monthly payment options has me asking, will I eventually have to pay a sum to keep my pro membership? It would definitely be a inconvenience considering some of the features I personally use have been upgraded to pro status (such as the ken burns effect). It wouldn’t be too much of a hassle to pay a monthly fee but it would be excellent if “old” members get the features with no fees. Either way, I will most likely continue using this app no matter what and I thank you for your time.

Formerly Disappointed, BUT Support Team Recently Made Things Right 👍🏼. While looking through different apps to use as my main editing program a friend told me about Videoshop many years ago, and I took the chance of paying the premium price for the features. I’ve told many people about this app after many of my edits, but recently had my iPhone due on me and while restoring my phone to another, I was SHOCKED to find out I was asked to PAY FULL PRICE for another membership?!?! I was already locked into a lifetime membership and now I’m being forced to pay again?! It then asked me to sign in. Previously I never had to have an account to sign in. I am very disappointed and don’t believe it’s good business to require a customer to have to pay another lifetime membership $90 if I’ve already done so in the past. I think the functions of this app are great but I now have a great disrespect for a company that can’t honor a previous, loyal, referring customer. I resorted to pay for short term access because I need to continue editing a few projects, but please make this right!! UPDATE: They responded back same day when I emailed their “bug” department and restored my account. Even though I already paid for an additional year, it’s well worth supporting a company that makes things right when there’s an issue and stands by quality!! 👍🏼

Amazing! But one bug. Ok, I have used this app for at least a year now, and it is incredible! I haven’t used a single dollar and I still think it’s amazing! Although there is something I would like you too fix. I used this app to put together photos, and make a video, but when I put them together, I want them to go slower, but it won’t let me change the speed. So I have to save it, then put the saved video back in to change the speed. Then I realized I missed a few photos, so I put them in with the other phone video I made, and I realized that the first photo video had lost half its color! Yes, that’s what I said, it lost it’s color. I have done that several times and the first one is almost completely grey! It is driving me nuts! I would appreciate you to fix this bug, and possibly make it so you don’t have to save a video then put it back on just to champ game the speed. Thank you for reading the, have a good day!

Subscription. Honestly this app was great and i really enjoyed it, I paid $3 for an amazing full video editing software but then you guys go and add a subscription and things I could use before are now locked behind a paywall. Some were reasonable like certain themes and filters but the part that gets too far is the watermark. If I already paid $3 I shouldn't have a giant watermark plastered on my video. Please at least remove the watermarks or get rid of pro entirely and refund the people who already bought the pros or at the very least put a small fee to just remove watermarks like the original $2.99 should have been in the first place. UPDATE: After doing some research I found out that you could be “grandfathered” into the Pro for free if you had an account when it was 2.99. Luckily i actually remembered my account info as I hadn’t used it in so long. So I take back what I said, you guys did look out for old backers of this app so respect.

Update or glitch?. So, I haven’t had this for a year yet, but I bought the monthly subscription because it was an amazing app! So a few days ago I deleted this app for space. I downloaded it again. The pro was still there so I was very happy about that right? But, the main reason I bought it was for the moveable screens. When I went into the game I looked to make sure there were no updates or anything. And either there was an update, or a glitch. I don’t think that there would be a glitch as soon as I downloaded it. So I thought it was an update. I went out of my room crying because I was devastated that my mom wasted her money on something that would not last. My mom said if I liked it, I could buy the yearly one when the monthly one finished. I did really like it, but now,I don’t know anymore. Thank you for reading. Next part if for the Developer! Great everything you need to edit videos. I use this app all the time. You can make mini films with added sound effects with music or you can make your own sound with the sound recorder or choose your own music through iTunes. You can also just add multiple videos together if your not too big on editing. This app simplifies everything making your work flow easy, smooth and quick. I’ve been using this app for about 7 year only using the free addition at that. But every time I stop using it and go back to it, the app never disappoints. Import, export to your iPhone camera roll or sent it through text, mail or straight to your social media. If I had one complaint it would be the 5 second tag that Videoshop puts on the top corner of your video when it start. Of coarse there are loop holes to get around the tag if it really bothers you, if not you can just keep the tag on your video. Other then that amazing app. If your looking to make quick films and put multiple videos together on your iPhone don’t look any further everything you need is right here.

Stopped using after BLM infiltrated… BUT. If you’re an all lives matter opposed to Black Lives Matter crowd you may get annoyed with the targeted purposeful marketing. They should update it soon and add more and he apolitical, it’s the best for iPhone creators I think.

Great for splitting.. Because videos longer than 20 minutes on iPad cannot be “seen” on a PC (unless you use iTunes for transferring) this little app is great for trimming long videos into sections less than 20 minutes - then transferring them to PC. I use my PC video editor to link them again if necessary.

Transitions. It’s really cool I like the transitions but is it ok if the developers can put a little bit of the pro transitions?it would be better if you do and more people would use the app much often

Close to perfect. I am only using basic operations like rotating and merging videos, and this one is good except it's compressing the videos a little bit, although the difference is not obvious. If you can maintain the original quality of the video, I would be happy to subscribe.

Easy to use. I have been using the free version, and am finding it very easy to use. I have been able to use some of the features after watching a video - but most of the general editing doesn’t require you to watch a video. If I were to use this app regularly, I would subscribe to a payment. I’m just going to see how it goes, but so far so good.

Movie. I was doing a movie then my best friend Asanti told me about this to edit it. I made the COOLEST horror movie and it is all thanks to this app I only wish the music can stay the place you want not from there to the end of the clip, it still was good with music it gave the scary music affect

Video maker. This is a great App. I have used it to upload my videos from my iPhone and transferred to my videos on the computer. This then frees up space once you delete the old videos off your phone. This is a great app.

What’s going on guys?. I really love this app, so much so that I even pay for the subscription. However in the last month every time I use the app it just randomly closes, in the middle of editing, while I’m trying to export.. just very very frustrating for a paid service. I’m trying to edit a simple 30 second video and it will close 3-4 times in the space of five minutes. I never know if my work has saved or not. Previously everything worked super smoothly.. I’m not sure what’s going on.. if this could be fixed I’d give a 5 star rating. Leaving this in the reviews so it’s hopefully seen by the developers.

Great app but little support. I have used this app for years and really love it. I use it daily for my job. But if there’s ever a problem I get no response from the developers. I paid for this app and right now it won’t even open. I have multiple projects I need to access that will be lost if I can’t open the app. It’s costing me work and money right now but can’t get any response. When it works it’s fantastic and I would recommend it. But if there’s ever a problem you won’t get any help.

Great!. I’ve been using this app forever! It has been amazing and I love what it provides in such an easy way. PROBLEM! I upgraded my phone now this app doesn’t recognise my new phone and wants me to upgrade. I have a lifetime upgrade already.... I tried to upgrade once again because I see value in this app, though it will not let me. Go to App Store - it sends me to the app. I try and upgrade via the app, it’s sends me to the App Store. Neither the App Store or the app itself will let me upgrade?! So, someone help me with this issue or I put my money time and effort elsewhere...

Better than premier…. For fast edits with advanced features this editing software handles huge files way better than premier and I can edit faster and do more, easier. I’ve been using video shop for about 6 years now and I’ve been able to make hundreds of edits. Can’t express my love for this app with words, simply put its an enabler. The one and only thing, and I mean the only thing that the developers should add is to remove the permanency of a speed change. Because once I change the speed, to slow or speed up I can’t undo/ revert the action with a button like I can on the ken burns effect or any other affect for that matter. Because say if I slow down a clip then an hour later into the edit when I want to change the speed I can’t. Anywho thanks soooo much for making my life easy and allowing me to create as much magic as I’d like! Legends, big love ❤️

Love it. I am a real novice blogger on Utube. And I couldn’t do my videos if it wasn’t for Video Shop. I have tried more expensive apps. But at 68 yrs of age I just couldn’t get my head around them. Thank you Video Shop for making it simple enough to do my Utube channel🤗🤗👍🏻❤️

Good but the music???????. So I love videoshop and always use it but the music is really crappy compared to imovie-which is ALSO free! Aswell as that they have had a new change and updated it so now to add voiceover or a song you have to listen to the exact amoint you want to be able to use it, it's hard to explain but you will know what I mean if you have it! Brilliant app but could be even better. I love this video editor but giving paid users the opportunity to save their video projects audio to high quality AAC 320 kbps would be a wonderful addition. Please, please, please :) could you add the option to give at least the paid users the opportunity to change the audio quality to AAC 320 kbps.

Lots of new good stuff.. Wow I am impressed with all the new effects and other goodies. Haven’t used it in a while so I have a lot of catching up to do. Keep it up. I would like to see more controls when you double tap on some of the transitions.

Would be good but.... I purchased this app a while back back when it was still $6,00 it came with all the features and as a full version I didn’t need to buy any extra features, I’ve since then gotten a new device and decided to reinstall the app using the same Apple ID I bough it with, after using the app I realised you guys have made a new pro version, and have restricted access to all the features I PAID for, I couldn’t find anything to restore purchase and this has pretty much tricked me out of my money as the app I paid for is alos now free and practically a Lite version, I would like a solution to this or atleast if you guys could show me how to restore purchases please, when I had the full version it was a pretty good editing app and maybe one of the best and totally worth the $6,00-$7,00 i Paid for it, but with this new issue I don’t know how I could rate this well

“Pro user” - forced to subscription. Forced to pay even though I was a Pro User. VLLO has pretty good editing options and Pro upgrade is not $100+. —————————————————————————— Clearly do not care about their Loyal Customers who already paid for lifetime updates. I have to subscribe now. Not very happy about this. I guess I will try other apps out their since they do not care about their Loyal Customers. ——————————————————————- I recently got new device and reinstalled the app. Most of the tools are still free to use, but some tools that I could use before such as impose and key burns, I need to subscribe to use. The undo used to be able to undo more than one action. Now if you make a mistake twice you can only go back one action. So if you have bought this app and paid for the pro version, you will have now pay again as a subscription from now on. ————————————————————— They have listened and grandfathered me into the pro version. ------------------------------------ I was a pro user and I got downgraded to the basic version after updating. So I sent an email asking what I should do and got a reply pretty much immediately. I followed their instructions and it did NOT work . I sent another email and no reply. If they don't fix it I'll keep coming back here every update to warn everyone.

Best Editor ever. This Video editor i absolutely amazing! its super advance as theres 3 different trimming options and you can put pictures over videos, and you can move spunds from clips to other videos aswell as much more! the only main small problems are that you either have to have premium or watch an ad to get some features which isn't that bad and its a bit hard to undestand and see how to use all features but if you know how it's amazing for editing I have one suggestion which is to make something that allows you to make moving sticker so, pictures and videos to create motion over videos with pictures.

Remember Pro User!! If you change device, you are no long a pro user.. I have been using this app from many years (downloaded when they’re giving away pro version). However, during last few years I changed a lot of devices and didn’t use this app much bcz every time I install this app, all I see is pop up ads, force for subscription and watermarks everywhere. I have noticed other users complaining same, changing devices will void your pro version. This means every-time you buy new devices, they force you to buy new pro version.

This is Amazing!. Just a suggestion- When your on a iPad and doing the text feature, when you double tap the screen turns sideways so maybe you could make the screen not turn on its side. Thanks so much your app is amazing!

You CAN fall madly in love with an app. Videoshop and I werent attracted at first. There were some bugs that made me question our relationship. Those bugs have been fixed overtime, new features have been added... Videoshop has become all about improving itself and now I find my love has drastically increased. Head over heels to be honest. Love you! Keep up the brilliant work.

Easy to trim videos and put together. I love this app, though it has the free version which still allows you to edit and shorten your videos and put it together. Great app for fun easy editing.

What's the point in even trying. Like every app on the app store now this has gone subscription. After being a loyal user and paying early on it seems there is no longer any point in complaints. Dev won't actually listen and their rent seeing accountant will tell them they'll be richer this way hoarding their gold. I just cant fathom how everyone can keep on paying for all the app subscriptions especially at the costs they are demanding. I do know that in marketing land the advise about subscription is given that xxxxx amount of people will forget and continue paying month after month so it's money for jam. It is also so blatantly evident that subscription services are rigged to removes as much money as possible from us as fast as possible it's so in your face. Everywhere, the ludicrous amounts of $$$ even in toddlers games. The other problem is that once you do this to loyal customers especially if they already paid, you'll force them out to search out something else, and lose them, and then it's too late even if your subscription was reasonable. I've gone, moved over to inshot while it’s still subscription-based it's a much more reasonable yearly amount or lifetime purchase. Very disappointed, another loyal customer permanently lost.

The import button doesn’t work. Hi is my birthday today and I opened the app and press the import button and something is off it won’t opened the button so if you don’t fix it then you will get 2 stars or 1 star rating if your lucky already

Great app for quick edits only missing one thing. I use this app every week to edit videos for Instagram and I mostly use it to cut my videos into 15 second clips so I can upload to Instagram stories. What would make this app 5 stars: 1) Be able to choose a custom colour for text and background (there’s a limited number of colours which makes it hard to get your branding right 2) More text options Still an app I recommend to start up online business owners

So this is amazing cause l really wanted to make Gacha videos for my friends and stuff but l couldn’t make them so l searched on AppStore and l found video shop so l downloaded it and when l started l could anything this is such an amazing app 🙂l could do more things with this app and this is so cool that my friends are downloading this app

Amazing. I completely love this app. It’s easy to use, and when I’ve tried seeing if other apps are better then this one, they’ve never beaten it. If you wanna use a pro edit thingy, all you need to do is watch an ad, no cost, not anything. It’s amazing and I’m so glad I came across it. I recommend this to anyone. And the watermark doesn’t even last the whole video; it only stays for about 10 seconds and then it’s gone. Pleeaaaassseeee if your looking for a simple app to edit videos, try this one. It’ll be worth it.

Highly recommended feature, but make it free to use :). I highly recommend this new feature to put in the app. You should put in a controllable zoom in while the video is playing. You zoom it in. And if you need to move it you can. You can make it move like in other videos. I would recommend this. If this gets added in. I’m using this for the rest of my life. Thank you :)

Disappointed that it became free. I had paid for the original version and used for ages. Recently they made it free and due to an issue with my phone had to reload the app. Now I have lost all the controls I had brought this app for. Disappointed that old users could only use all the features until they got a new phone and now have to pay for Pro again.

Nice app, but some suggestions. I like editing videos on the app, but here are some suggestions: 1: Green-screen testing 2: More transitions 3: More background sounds 4: More filters/distortions (like blurring, VHS, etc.) 5: Widescreening 6: More stickers/GIFs (even rising up GIFs) 7: More fonts 8: More effects (dissolve, fade, etc.) 9: More text appearances 10: Fast zoom ins and zoom outs. 11: Impose more than 4 videos 12: Custom recordings (144p, 240p, 720p, HD (1080p), etc) 13: Audio changes 14: Add a toolbar that has a lock symbol to keep a GIF or image where it originally was and an unlock symbol to let the GIF/picture move along where it is. And 15: More ken burns. Other than that, good app.

I love this app because you don’t have to buy it and pay and the other editor apps u have to pay so that’s y I love this one way more but the only thing is I wish there were the songs u wanted that would make it a hole lot better bc I don’t have iTunes so if I could do any song on the actual app that would be amazing

It could’ve been the greatest app. This is the problem with the developers. They make a great editing app, has all the features you need and then some. However, you could be editing for hours and then just lose everything and have to start again not knowing if the same problem will happen. Why can’t you guys just make something that works??

Disappointed.... Used to be really good, until this “pro” business came in. I used to use it all the time, when a school project came up or just for fun. Deleted it a couple months ago and now it’s like them all, trying to make you go on a monthly spending fee or you’ll only be able to unlock some of the basic features. But if you are okay with that, the app is good and useful.

Going Separate Ways.... I’ve been using VideoShop for nearly 5 years now. I have created various school projects and home movies with this app, it’s the only IOS video editing app I know how to use. Now there’s a subscription service to features I could use before for free by following VideoShop on Instagram. I am now very limited on how I want to express my creativity, and I am yet again stuck with finding a good, non-confusing video editing app that I don’t have to pay for.

Great app!. Needed to make a short film for school and this app was perfect!! I love the way they made it so you can remove the watermark without premium, very handy, but I would make more ways it can be removed so you can do it more, like watch a video or pay $1 or something, idk.

Pro features ruin this app. At the time this is written this app is probably the most powerful video editing app you can get on your phone. I’ve been using this app for years (before the PRO update) yet I can’t help but feel a bit betrayed. This video editing software is, “cute,” to say the least, it’s not for practical use. Well I wouldn’t use it professionally. It doesn’t help the fact that it has a subscription service. If you want unlimited access to pro features you have to pay 100$. What the cuss! this is already a gimmicky tool. With that cost you might as well get Premiere Pro. I guarantee it will be worth way more that this app. Also what the cuss is up with this store menu? Am I playing a EA game?

AMAZING APP FOR EDITING ANY VIDEOS FOR OTHER PLATFORMS. The interface is very easy to use and if you’re looking to edit any videos- as long as they’re on your phone the possibilities are endless to make a flawless, great looking video. You have everything you need in the free version and of course you’ll get the better things if you pay but it’s not that expensive and worth it if you do or don’t. I was able to make short edits for tiktok all the way to 10 minute edits for YouTube within a couple hours. HIGHLY RECCOMEND

The best so far. I’ve been through several editing apps. I have an iPhone 8. So far this app is the best editing app I’ve used so far. After playing around with it I decided to purchase the sub and it’s worth it. Super satisfied, not one crash and that’s the best part! Will continue to use

5/5, BUT..... I’ve been using this app since it’s launch, and for years I’ve been using it’s amazing features that used to be included with the app as a whole. Only to find out that this new update would force me to pay for the features that used to be free and available to me when I started using the app. I’ve been a loyal consumer since this app was still a super buggy mess, and I fail to see why I don’t deserve to have features that I now have to pay for. I’d love to support the developers if I could afford it, but I really can’t. The app as a whole is still a 5/5 in my eyes, maybe even a 10/10, but I’d love to have everything that used to be included. All I’m asking is that I can be “grandfathered” as I’ve seen that other long time users have been granted full access to the app. That is all, nothing more, nothing less.

Non-Existent Customer Service. Their Customer service is really bad. What happened was I forgot to end my free trial. I was on a school budget, had used the app for a project and I hadn't used the app since the free trial. This has happened to me a handful of times before with other companies and what I do is I call and the company happily refunds me because the system was made to make money off of people forgetting to stop free trials and the other companies understand. What I did was I went online and looked up videoshop’s customer service. Their website only provided a mere e-mail box. Now you would think a company of this magnitude would at least have a phone number. I sent my issue and they didn’t reply. After 2 weeks, I sent them another email. There has been no response and its been about 3 additional weeks on top of those 2 weeks. Because of this, I went overbudget on my project. This is not okay and shouldn’t happen to anyone else. I hope they can resolve this.

Amazing app. I love videoshop so much. I use it literally every single day to make fun videos and cool edits. One problem videoshop has is that when you do lipsync think it is very off. Every time I use lipsync the song gets more off. For example, I used it earlier today and when I saw the footage, it was three seconds off. Whenever I clapped when the song had a clap in it for me it happens immediately and it doesn’t go off. But when I look at the footage after I record, the video is very off and the clap happens like so much earlier then I do it. So if u can fix that one issue, then I will be happy. thx! ❤️❤️ Other then that, I still give it 5 stars bc one little issue in my favorite app doesn’t make it go down a star. If u fix that, I will be very happy. Thx for reading!!!!1

Amazing Editing Software for Beginners. I’ve been using Videoshop for the last three years now, basically since I first got into video editing. I have a ton of really good things to say about this APP, so let me get my two complaints out of the way; The music is TERRIBLE. Actually this is one of the reasons why I’m upgrading. You can’t use the music unless a cheesy video is what you’re going for. Also, I converted to using GoPros as my primary cameras, and I noticed after you download the video to photos, it comes out a little pixilated. Not to bad, it’s just kind of annoying. But if you’re using any kind of iPhone, it comes out just fine. Okay, either than that it’s AMAZING. Five stars, hands down. If you’re a beginner wanting a little more than iMovie, but not yet ready to edit on a computer, this is the way to go. It’s stupidly simple to use, and once you get the hang of it, you can make some pretty professional-looking stuff. When I first started using it, the app was a little buggy and shut down often, but after the new update it works perfectly, and I can edit as fast as I want to now. If you’re a beginner, this is the ONLY route to go if you’re making content for social media. I would recommend this to anyone getting into this.

Fantastic. I used to use iMovie for my video edits, because it was free and had a lot of simple edits to use. It was user friendly, too. I edit all the time, so I’m picky about my video editors. One video I wanted to edit so it plays in reverse, and that wasn’t a function for iMovie. I searched for another video editing software, and within minutes I found this. At first I was skeptical, because though it was free, it had in app purchases, so I thought I was going to have to buy the pro version to edit my video to play in reverse. To my surprise, the reverse editing function, along with photoshop and other edits for videos that aren’t included in iMovie were included in the free version of this app. It’s very user friendly, and you can do so much more. I will certainly be using this for my future video edits.

The New Upgrade Made Things Worse.. Hello, I have been using this app for almost 2 years now. Never once had a problem because this app is that good. However, this latest update has MAJOR bugs! For one, whenever I import songs or split audio tracks from clips, they sounds no longer plays correctly. Some play just fine, but others don't play at all. It's not a volume error either. Also, this new update messed up audio from every single one of my previously saved In-App projects. I tried fixing them but like I said, certain, random audio clips aren't playing sound like they should be. Also, I noticed that you can no longer trim audio like before. Normally you could pull up the whole wave length and set the beginning of the trim at different parts of the audio clip. (Meaning you could start the audio at 10seconds into the clip or be able to go back 3seconds if you needed to for easy adjusting.) Now, I can no longer go backwards, only forwards, which is really inconvenient, because if I trim too much, I cannot simply go back a few seconds, I have to delete and start over. Please fix this. I hate to leave this message here because this App is so good. Thank you.

I love this app but. I paid the money for this app before it was free (multiple years ago) and now I have redownloaded it on my new phone and I don’t have the features I used to have. I feel disrespected because I paid the full money for this awesome editing app multiple years ago, which was like under 10 dollars, I think it was $5 or something like that, and now I have lost the features that I previously had because I have to pay a subscription. Why should I have to pay both? Please fix this. I am also using the same apple account and email that I used to buy this years ago. I don’t know if you guys have any way of seeing whether I bought it or not but you should and I hope you can because I paid a small price years ago that was worth it for this amazing video editing app to access all the features and now I don’t have access to them. Please fix this because there is no other video editing app like this and this will be an instant 5 stars when you fix this issue. Thank you.

wonderful. I love this app and all but if there was one thing I could change, I would change when every time you do something it has to load. I rather it just be done when you click what you want to do. I’m not talking about when it load for a second and be done. I mean like it will start loading with a percentage but most of the time it doesn’t take a long. Like for example if you were going to crop a lot of footage out it would take a moment to load. But, if you were to crop a little bit out it would be like in 2 seconds ( not literally) but it would be faster. Other than that this is a wonderful app! I really enjoy it, you can do so much on it such as voiceovers, trimming, cropping, gifs, stickers, and more! This is a wonderful app! I recommend you download it

This App is AMAZING!!!. I have been using Videoshop for almost three years now and I love it so much! There’s so many features and it really helps me take my videos to the next level and it allows me to be very creative! There’s lots of options even if you have the free version, but after just a few months of using it, I chose to upgrade to the pro and it’s so worth it! I love all of the fonts, transitions, tools, filters, stickers, effects, and literally everything about it! It’s also very user-friendly and it didn’t take me too long to figure out when I first got started using the app. Overall, I cannot recommend Videoshop more to anyone, it’s just so good and after creating hundreds of videos with it I still can’t believe how amazing they have all turned out using this app!

Best Video App Ever. This app has really shaped my childhood with my brother! When we were younger, we would just record things on my camera roll, making seperate videos for new scenes. We got annoyed with this, and with the fact that every video app I downloaded either cost money or had every feature PRO. But trust me when I say that this app isn't like that! We have been using it for three years now and I still love it! Yes there are PRO features, and it can get glitchy when you have a lot of seperate videos, but that's just an app for ya. It's honestly really helped us make our videos better and have a lot of fun. So if you are looking for an app to make music videos with, movies, or even just to combine your videos and add music, your search is over becuase this is the app

Just lost all of my pro features. I used to have all of the pro features, but now every time I try to use one, the app tells me I have to pay for them? Used to, there was a feature that if I had the app for over a year, I unlocked pro (kinda like a veterans discount), but now it says I have to pay 12 dollars! And the update log says nothing about getting rid of that feature. I have several clips in a video I’m working on where I used pro features like ken burns, and now I can’t add any more. Is this a glitch? If so, please fix this soon! I’ve used this app AND THIS APP ALONE for editing videos for years, and I’ve always used these features, and what’s the use if I can’t edit my videos to the fullest anymore? (without paying 12 whole bucks anyways)

Super cool video editor, needs more control. Okay so I've been using this app for a few years now ("old-user") and first things first, credit where it's due: this is legit the best video editor I could found on the App Store. That being said, it's not perfect. You still have no control over everything like you'd expect; For example: if I import audio into a project it's frustrating to try and edit it, because the audio edit menu (that is hidden inside the sound speech bubble kinda thing) doesn't work together with the audio and video playback. The only way to play the audio (individually) is to tap the little note icon at the top. There is no way to scrub while I play the video. No way to pause and resume either. How am I supposed to fit the audio to the video if I can't hear while I adjust the position freely? Guess? that's not an intuitive user experience. Also, can you add the swipe video to move back and forth from the trim menu to the main video editor window or give another more precise option? That'll be really useful. (At least put it under the settings if you don't want users to get confused so it's toggle-able, that can be off by default) In short, please give more love to the controls and make them more precise and easy to understand and use. It's so important.

PLEASE HELP DEVELOPERS!. There is something that I need to be added to this app, I have bought the full version while also having it on another device for many years. The new feature is related to the ken burns affect. I would like it if you made it where there is a starting box and finishing box so it shows where you want the frame size to be starting off and end up. In the custom ken burns you can only zoom in into different areas but having two boxes will fix the problem so I can have custom zoom outs too, this will help a ton with all of my videos (Which I do extremely frequently). I have recommended many friends to this app who have also paid and I would really enjoy this feature to be added. Thank you and please add it as soon as possible! The app is great aside from this.

Love but updates made some features clunky. Love the app--it's my favorite! However the last two-to-three updates made some features clunky. Namely, the speed slider. It used to slide back and forth the the precise number, but now it jumps past, sticks to numbers other than the target speed number, and freezes at the speed number I'm trying to change. Can you please add the "apply all" double checkmark for the speed feature, as well as the mute feature, and the crop feature. I import multiple small clips and have to manually change each clip to mute or the speed, or crop the first few seconds, and apply all is a really nice feature to be able to employ.

This app is stupid. Why is it literally taking me forever to save my video?! I try to save my video, and first it was that I didn’t have enough storage as this greedy storage hungry app would say, then I cleared up a lot of storage and then I went back to save it, and then it says that camera roll is not available and I have to close video apps that are using sources of data or whatever that stuff is. So I went to close to video apps that I had open, it still wouldn’t let me save and it told me I had to close video app. What kind of joke is this? i’m trying to save a video, and it’s not letting me! At this point I just want to delete this app, I literally hate it and I hate the way it’s programmed, if I could read it zero stars I would.

THIS APP IS AMAZING. My friend showed me this app one day and I’m sooo glad she did! I chose this instead of iMovie and I’m glad I made that decision! This app has a lot of possibilities and it’s really fun to create your own videos/movies! Only couple of down sides are: 1. You have to pay to use some of the cooler items. For example: to do a cool transitions and cool word transitions.2. Takes a wile to load: if your doing something with a lot of pictures or videos you can’t do them all at the same time or it takes forever to load. Last but not least 3. It’s glitchy: I was trying to film but when I was trying to film in the app it kept on taking videos even though it pressed stop. Overall I’m really glad I got this app and you should get it to!

Cool but the corner logo. I absolutely loooooooooove this app and it is like, my favorite app on my phone. I’ve been using it for only a couple months now, but I don’t plan on deleting it any time soon. I only have one problem with it that every time I download a video it has a little brand in the corner that says Videoshop. All of my friends know which app I use and I don’t really see the point in having that brand when I usually send videos to them. But if I want to edit a video for any Social Media, it is very frustrating because everyone knows I edited it myself and the logo is annoying because nobody cares. This is the second app that comes up if you search videoshopping apps, so no one will miss it. Other than that tho, I absolutely am in love with the app itself and the final product minus the logo. Maybe you could do something about that? Thanks! Again, this app is great!

Once was my favorite app. I’m so upset that I’ll have to force myself to find a new app to edit my videos. This was the first app I was able to learn how to use easily and quickly. I’ve made videos that have gone viral with this app but now that’s a done deal. For the past 3 months Every time I open the app I get a “low disk” warning. Over the last past 3 months I have erased all of my projects from this app hoping to free enough space to use the app without crashing and/or “not enough space” errors. But that didn’t work. Now with only 4 projects saved to the app I’m still experiencing crashes and saving issues.... I don’t want to have to learn a whole new app but these issues are becoming frustrating and time consuming.

Totally suggest!. This app is super easy to use and negotiate. I use this to edit all kinds of videos! Lots of nice features and it doesn't even charge you to use it. I mean, there is an option to pay for lots of extra features, but I use the free version and it is really nice. I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants to add text, stickers, or slow/fast speed to their videos, or even just wants to put 2 or more videos together. I used this to edit 22 video clips together for a Girl Scout project and added subtitles and it worked perfectly! This app has little to no ads, which is super nice. The only downside is it may take a while to upload long videos, but that is totally normal. Again, totally recommend and suggest because I love this app and use it very often! Cudos to the creator!

I miss the old Videoshop 😞😣. I’ve had this app for a a year and a half and personally I ❤️ the old one. Every thing is great 👍🏼 🙂😊 except the music. This app was my first video editor 🎥 only problem is that it when from Wonderful😊🤩!! To meh 😒😕. You used to be able to use real songs without paying or being a pro 😁🥳. Then you stopped the real music thing and gave us small albums that I had to use over and over again ☹️! I saw that u have an Apple Music option but lemme break it to u: not EVERYone has Apple Music 😑 oh and I also saw that when you have apple music there’s limited songs!! 😐 Now one day I started to make a video and now all the new cool songs are just for PROS!!! 😾 Thats it, im getting another app 😒. I am super disappointed ☹️ with the music 🎵. P.S. I don’t want a subscription i don’t like paying for apps or in app purchases or subscriptions.

Saved Video is nothing like the one Created.. I spent about an hour or two putting pictures and videos together. The process to make it is actually easy to understand. Once I was happy with what I made, I saw the video and liked it. Now I went to save it to my camera roll. First of all it kept telling me “cannot save”, I got frustrated because that is a pretty stupid message. So I decided to just text it to myself. I did and it was nothing like the video I had made, the whole timing I spent an hour making was all off, the sizes of the pictures were all off and music and everything was a mess. I am truly disappointed as I spent so much time making something, and it was good, but when saving it or sending it, the app butchers it into something which I had not made. Honestly am happy to delete the app. There are more video editing apps out there, many of which are better. Now I just have to find one.

Shocked and frustrated !!! But later they listened and helped 😊. This is a really amazing app for the video editor or film maker.. I have been using this app almost for four years... I was really happy buying that app.. and created lots of exciting videos.. but recently I bought and shifted to a new iPhone 11 and again downloaded the app from the same iCloud account.. but now I have to pay 90$ for all the features I was already using... !!!!!! 😥😥😥 why is that.. this is really frustrating.. Requesting necessary attention and support of the admin and the developer team, please give me my account back pls pls pls... Update: Great!!! I am really happy they have listened to my sadness and gave me back the pro version I used to have.. lots of love for the team.. they are really amazing & awesome 👏👏👏

Affordable & Diverse. Ive Been using Videoshop for about 6 months and i would say it will continue for a much linger period. The free version of it allows you to cut, edit and merge your clips. Also they give you a variety of free transitions effects to use. Gotta live free right!? But of course just as with everything else in the world their a stipulations. Limited to specfic features 😒 but that reason for the 5 star is their Plans are literally $5 a month for everything unlocked. All resizes, transitions, word effects , video effects etc are included.😱😱Im not one to throw money at apps but i use videoshop for my ad creations and it does exactly what i need it to. REMINDER!! It is an app on the a phone folks, don't expect it to have pc editing capabilities , that would be unfair to the developer - Anyways this app with the aide of two others have aided in my success for my business🤑. Lifesaver. I was using a different (more expensive) editing app to add music to my gaming compilations and when I finished the video I realized I would have to spend $30 to remove their watermark (YIKES) and that DIDNT include the “pro” elements. So I packed up all those clips and took it too this app! Because I can do the same thing with this app for a cheaper more reasonable price, I just bought the yearly subscription. $23? Count me in! The other apps “pro” subscription was $69 yearly and I’m telling you this app does the exact same things and some more because you also can add sound effects and transitions. Basically I’m saying if you’re looking for a video app, get this one. Even the free version is good, you don’t have to buy the subscription to use it and the watermark isn’t giant.

Best video editor app on the App Store.. I’ve been using this app for the past 4-5 years, it’s amazing. I use it probably more than 2 times a day editing my yoga and adventure videos. This is my favorite app to edit my videos its simple and easy to use i absolutely love it. I got the pro version right from the beginning and I never stopped using it! However, I had to get a new phone recently and in the midst of re-downloading it, it lost my old pro membership and I can’t afford the new subscriptions to continue using it for now. But it’s definitely worth it, someday I’ll be back, I've spent so much time trying to find a good video editor and this is the best by a long shot!! I love this app, someday I’ll cave and get it again when I’m not broke ✌🏻 keep it amazing

I LOVE this app—But.... This app enabled me to do what neither iMovie on the laptop nor iMovie on the phone would (without jumping through many hoops). I imported 56 stills and Videoshop turned them into a very nice animation. Lost one star (the “But”) because setting the duration of the slides needs serious improvement. I wanted (and FINALLY got ) 0:00:16 Every time I lifted my finger from the slider the duration would jump back to 0:00:10, or forward to a value I didn’t want. There’s got to be a better way! Fix it, and I’ll add a star. So after I wrote the above review I got a response that there would be a fix in two weeks. That was in August, 2018. Since then I have downloaded every update, only to be disappointed that the slide duration settings method remains unchanged. For that reason I am removing a star.

The BEST video editing app. I am an avid app user, and there’s nothing I love more than video editing. This is, hands down, the very BEST video editing app I’ve ever used! It’s the Final Cut Pro of video apps; there’s literally nothing it cannot do. I’ve been using this app for years, and every time new editing apps come to the App Store I test them but absolutely NOTHING beats this app! I’ve used this all throughout college, and I’ve made hundreds of projects. I cannot recommend this enough. The functions are so precise, giving you the most creative control over your projects. The effects are amazing, and the UI is so easy to navigate. If I had to keep only one single app on my phone this would be it! Thank you for creating this incredible editing tool!

Good things too offer. This app is great it had everything I needed,music,stickers,effects this app also includes cuts,splits,trims,and free music if you have an apple iPhone like me this is great cause you don’t have to pay this app also includes sound effects which makes it so much better. They have a wide variety of things to choose from and if you like to watch and make movies like me it’s great because this app has a lot to offer and reasonable offers and the best thing is they have a lot of transitions and some are pro which I would have too say is basically the only bad part you really should try this app especially if you’ve done a lot of digging to look for one that has all that you need and you don’t have too buy anything!!!

Brightness/contrast problem.. Love this app, been using it on my iphone x for years. Been having a problem recently where when i export and save a video to camera roll/photos, when i play it in photos its noticeably darker. So when i import the newly saved video into videoshop, its this darker version that shows up. I knows this because Ive done the process over and over again… where i export a video, import it, save again, import the new one, save that one, etc. Each saved version gets darker and darker/less brightness as a result. It be great if you can fix this if at all possible. Ive had to jack the brightness/contrast levels up for some videos because of this knowing that it would be darkened when playing back in camera roll. This problem started roughly 6-8 weeks ago I’d say. Hope all gets resolved. Love the app.

THE BEST (but still have a minor issue). I’m a professional photographer and videographer. I’ve been using this app for a very veryyyyyyyyy long time, even more than my adobe software on my laptop. It’s so perfect for on the go and the only app I’ve ever found that lets me layer pictures and videos with audio so perfectly! Ive been sending emails for a while to get some assistance with no luck. I recently got another new phone and ran into the same issue I’m seeing a lot of other people run into (they’ve mentioned in their reviews) of not being able to use their pro stuff anymore. I really hope I can be grandfathered in as well cause I can’t begin to think what I would do without this app. ❤️💕❤️💕

Unfortunate Shame. I’ve had this app for 6 years. I first bought it when I was in 6th grade for a video project that I had to do, and when I bought it, all the features were unlocked to me. Now I’m in in 12th grade and making videos for fun. I love using the app, it’s my favorite video app to use. However, a few months ago, I had to temporarily delete some apps to make more storage on my phone. Videoshop was one of them, and when I finally had more space, I re-downloaded the app but I was left to an upsetting surprise... I have to buy all the features that I already had, again. Unfortunately, because I bought this app 6 years ago (2014 to be exact), I never had to make an account so trying to “sign in” to restore my purchases won’t apply to me. Please help me, I want to continue using this app in the further future but I don’t want to rebuy my features again.

It’s good but.... If I could leave 0 stars I would. I’ve used this app for a long time and overall it’s all good, I even purchased the removal of the watermark, and that’s when the problem begins. I switched phones, logged in to my Videoshop account and guess what, it was asking me to buy the watermark again. I turned off my old phone and clicked on “transfer purchases” and guess what, nothing happened. I sent an email to the support thingy and they answered me within a few hours, but they only gave me a link to update the app, which I had updated, they also said that if that didn’t work, I needed to send some screenshots and video recordings which I did, 24 went by, no response, so I emailed them again, 2 days after that and nothing. I just sent them an email asking for a refund and hopefully they respond. I’ll keep this updated, if they fix my problem or give me my money back, I will consider changing the rating

Well Worth The Money. I haven't seen an editing app as amazing as this one! It blows my mind how smooth it is! It never crashes, never freezes, nothing. You can put as many videos as you want to combine them into one. See, the other apps make it to where you can only combine 5 videos or something like that, it's unlimited with this app! Lots of options for editing so you can come out with the perfect result you want. I HIGHLY recommend this, as it's the best out there. Its doing great for me, I don't know what the other people are talking about that put down like 1-4 stars, this deserves ALL five stars. Now I finally have a great way to edit the videos I have on my phone! We need more hard working developers like this one. That will make the App Store a better place haha. Definitely recommend this editing app.

Almost 5 stars. I’ve been using this app for 3 years. Even after I got a new phone it was one of the first apps I downloaded. It has gotten a lot better with updates and I’ll admit the app is super clean and efficient. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is a few issues. For some reason you can’t play 2 mp3 files on top of eachother so whenever I wanna have music playing and an audio file I downloaded at the same time it won’t work the music just automatically stops. Also the lack of “distort” and filters kinda blows. I usually have to use another app to add cool filters and then go back to Videoshop to edit it together. Other than just a few things that are minor inconveniences this app is pretty good and I recommend it to people.

Uhg. I’ve used this app for as long as I can remember to make videos on. It’s always been the easiest to use while still being able to make amazing high quality videos. When I originally downloaded it I paid for the app to use all of the effects. I got a new phone in March and the app had updated and now had a sign in option and required monthly fees which I paid for a years worth because the app really was worth it. I went to use the app and noticed I can’t impose videos anymore without paying a monthly fee and there is a watermark on my videos when I save them. I’m disappointed because I paid for the yearly subscription in March without making an account and now my access to the app is limited unless I pay the 90$ just disappointed in all the changes and it’s no longer the simple app I’ve loved to create on in the past

Frustrating. At first, it seemed easy to use and ideal for a simple birthday video. Importing video clips, trimming to shorten, choosing transitions and timings, etc was all straightforward. But eventually, it stopped allowing me to trim a video that was too long. Ok, so I just deleted that one video clip. But I discovered while reviewing my work that the video had not been altered. Even after closing everything out, when I went back to the project later, there was the long video. I eventually had to delete the entire project. Many unkind words came to mind. But ok, start over. I imported more video clips- being careful not to use the really long one. Guess what- there it was anyway. Couldn’t delete it, couldn’t edit it. So I eventually deleted the app all together. Closed everything, and restarted my phone. Reinstalled the app. Started over. I did this TWICE. There’s the same clip. I’ve got no explanation at all, and I’ve wasted hours working on something that should have taken a few minutes even with adding music and transitions. Don’t waste your time folks. Find another app that works.

I am a Grandfather. I started using this app in May 2014 when I turned 65 and retired and I have used it a lot in the past five years not as a time filler but as a creative and rewarding outlet for myself. I use it mostly to send Birthday, Christmas, and Anniversary music videos to grandchildren, friends and family. I have had some complications and I haven't used it as much as I would like. But it seems that I can't use some of the Pro features that I once could. Like some of the reviews I have read I would hope to be grandfathered in as well and be able to use many of the great pro features. I truly love the app and found that I never have to search for functions while creating. Also dread having to learn a new app when your app funtions are All that I need. Thanks for making this app.

It's good but about the pro-subscription fee for old users.... Now let me start off with a good note by saying that this app I would say is the BEST IOS editor out there in my opinion, and that I have no hate against the makers of this app or the app itself. Now with the complaint. I had deleted this app (for storage purposes) about 2 years ago, but had payed over 40$ for clips from this editor to use in my videos. I re-download the app to find that there is a "pro subscription" fee, if you would like to use extra features, such as rewind on the editor. Since I would like to consider myself as an "old user", I really would not like to use anymore of my money for this app, since I had already payed a lot of money for this application. Is there anyway "old users" on this app can not pay for this pro subscription fee?

I downloaded this app it was ok but you might have some competition. this app is really decent I can tell a lot of hardworking was put into it but there is another app called “IMovie” it is made by apple and it’s completely free you can do the same things on there here but you have to pay money. In some factors this is better than iMovie like the fact that you can change position of text and stuff. Whereas on iMovie you cannot do that. But in one case where iMovie is better is the GUI of the editing it’s really easy and doesn’t feel like a mess. The GUI for this app isn’t very good the video is Giant on the screen and it doesn’t feel very good to edit. Something you could change to make this app better is to completely change the layout and try to make it like IMovie’s layout but better (which shouldn’t be very hard to do) Once you do that. Your app should be the best editing software around.

Took out old favorite things :(. I’ve been using video shop for YEARRSSS, it used to be so good! Not to mention when I had to only pay once to use all my favorite tools/filters and etc. I stopped using video shop in 2016 or 17 I believe but I come back to it having to have subscriptions :( I wouldn’t mind it as much if I could only have one or two of my favorite things back... being able to use any song! Now with the copyright issues it’s basically useless to me because none of my favorite songs are useable from my library, or if you guys bring back the ability to fade out/in custom audio just like fading in or out the songs. That was one of my favorite tools but I can’t use it for my own custom audio! Please put it as an option for separate custom audio/original sound! I’d definitely want to get back to using this app if one or two of these things were fixed/added!!!

Unfairness. I have had this app for a year and downloaded it when the price was $1.99 and was able to use the “impose” function, now that this update comes along it takes this ability away from me and asks me to pay for a pro mode so I can use “impose” again but I already paid for the app and the ability to use this function in the first place. I believe that I shouldn’t pay for something I already bought and used this would be appreciated if fixed for I loved this app before it took away my ability to “impose” from my gallery and unfortunately will have to find another video editing service for my needs but i would love to be a part of the Video Shop family if I can have what I payed for back, Thank you for your service.

Lost it all🙁. A few years back, I got this app for 2 dollars on an iPad. It was such a great app with so many options and I loved it. Fast forward to now, and I get a new iPhone. The first app i download is Videoshop. I get on after downloading a few more apps, and I find that to use my favorite features you need to pay $90! Luckily I made an account, so all is saved right? WRONG! I logged into my account (SuppamoonJJ) and I still didn’t have what they now call, “pro”. I was so sad because this was my favorite thing to do at home when I was bored. It made my day! But now I could only do what an app like iMovie could do. Maybe worse. (You guys are better than that) but I decided to make the most of it. After trying to make some fun out of what used to be an amazing app, I realized you needed “pro”. I didn’t delete the app, because I thought it would be fixed, but now I don’t know what to do! Thank you for listening.

It tries but I still like it. I love this video editor and because of it I’m a YouTuber now but there are a little nitpicks I’d like to come across first off why do you need to pay for better editing tools if you want a good editing software without any subscription fees or anything just get iMovie also sometimes it doesn’t load right away like when I import a clip that’s like five minutes sometimes takes like five minutes also when you’re done and you have to save it to camera roll but if you have a lot of apps on your iPhone or iPad you have to delete some of those just to save your video like why the heck do you need to have storage just to save a video that honestly to me it’s kind of silly but I still like this app and I always will but time to time I will rage with this app because sometimes it doesn’t do what I want it to do Overall good app and keep up the good work

DISAPPOINTED. I have been trying to get ahold of support and the response I got was that due to high volume of emails, they can not respond to everyone. I have been using and loving Videoshop for years now. I upgraded to pro a while back. I had to get a new phone and the app will not show my previous status as pro or being up all the videos in my editing feed. I tried to see if I could register a login on the old phone in the app in hopes to be able to then use the login on my new phone to bring my account up. I do not see any options to create a login within the app unless it’s in the videomall which has been under construction a couple days now. I am really disappointed that I can’t get assistance with this especially since I purchased my pro status and it says I’m grandfathered in from the new options. I need to send the old phone back within a couple days so this is time sensitive! Could you please assist me with this so I can continue to enjoy and recommend the app as I have for the past couple years?

Previously I had seen the new update for Videoshop and I was so excited, only to find out I needed a subscription.. but thank you! I now have access to all the new features and I am BEYOND excited 😆 thank you all for exceeding my expectations by so much, I super appreciate being grandfathered into having pro for free :) For anyone reading this other than the developers: if you had previously paid $5 to get Videoshop before the major update, you should have Pro for free! If not, email Videoshop (email in app description) and they will fix it for you. Anyways, I just want to thank you all at Videoshop for changing the editing game in such an amazing way! You guys are not only smart business-wise, but just downright so amazing and helpful to your customers. I wish the best for you all! God bless 😇

They ask for it. I run my videos thru a few edit tools & apps. This is merely the last one before I upload my content. Anyhow: They like to leave a water mark (which is cool). Perhaps their app will get credit for actions I DID NOT carry-out with this editing tool and this is not cool. They refuse to give an option for the removal of said watermark unless you pay to remove it. But…. since they ask for reviews and! since they will hound you and solicit 5stars every time that this app is utilized. Here is the truth. It is a gd app, I use it, and nevertheless it-is-free. Let us NOT forget they must generate an income and monetize THEIR skills; not other editing tools skills. Yet they fail to see the importance in giving us an option when to remove their water mark - when it is necessary.

Good but needs some work.... Hi, I love this app and use it to make and edit my YT videos...but, I have a few problems. First, whenever I try to put transitions from slide to slide it puts it all in the back! I am heavily disappointed in this. Second of all, I think it would be nice if there were a few more things for free, also moving texts and an free intro maker would make a great edition to the app! I also have problems with adjusting speed and loading. With speed adjusting in some areas I would like it to be slow or faster, but then it makes the entire video that way. And the loading and saving takes about 10 minutes for me or even more! These bug and add ons would make the app great! I love it so much and it is the first video app that allows me to put photos together into a video! Btw I can't wait for future updates and bug fixes!😁😄❤️❤️

Love Videoshop but hugely disappointed by update. I have used this app with pleasure for years, but it has been rendered unuseable. You now cannot add a clip to a project you are working on. If you click Add it takes you to clips you already have used, or to just a blank page, but it Does Not go back to your camera roll. Every time you want to add a clip you have to download the project, and the re-upload it along with the clip you want to add. It is time- consuming and ridiculous when you have to add several clips as do the project. Another problem is you can be working on a 5GB project, but will get a dialogue box that your device is out of space. If you look at storage on your phone or IPad you find the app has jumped to 30 or 40GB. 👎 This used to be the best video/photography app in the App Store. You rarely get a response from their customer service either. I’ve recommended this app to several people through years, but no more if the developers do not correct these problems.

Confused?. Just a month ago, even, I would have gladly given this app 5 stars. Lately, however, it's been crashing a lot. I use this to make quite a few videos, onea ranging from 20 seconds to 20 minutes, though I usually edit the 20 minutes down to about 10, usually under 10. Lately, O've not even been able to open projects because the app would crash upon me trying to edit it. I've tried deleting some older projects I've finished, thinking maybe they were clearing up space, but nothing. I tried deleting and reinstalling, and it's still a problem, except now I've lost a lot of things I was working on. I can get around it if I import video clips slowly instead of all at once, but that can take awhile. I feel like I'm walking on eggshells with this app because I never know what's going to make it crash and when I'm no longer going to be able to edit a project. Please look into this. Other than that, it's a great app. Thanks
