The planner is the closet thing to a paper planner I have used. I first used it on my phone via an app. I than went on my iPad and used it . At first I hated It on iPhone but than learned how to use it on ipad. I suggest anyone that wants to replace their paper planner try this on iPad first and than try the app.
Easy to use and manage. Would be great if it also integrated phone book/contacts and the ability to make notes on/about contacts.
Finally found the right one.
Like many of you I've tried the ALL but they were never quite right. I was a little skeptical of Planner Pro because it just looked cheap or something, can't explain it exactly but I tried it anyway. After about 2 weeks I realized it was a really great app and it did everything I needed it to with ease in a logical, no BS way.
So I paid the few dollars for it, which is well worth it and quite inexpensive in my opinion. It's easily a $10 app all day. Now I use it all day every day to organize my business (a very busy marketing firm in NYC) and my personal life and it handles it all seamlessly. I'd like to try the mac version but I'm just not sure if it's worth $25. I paid $50 for Fantastical last month and am already regretting that decision, but that's another matter.
I really recommend giving it a try, but when you do you really have to give it a chance and commit for a solid 2 weeks. You can't try it for a day and know if it's right for you. If you're as busy as I am and have a lot of moving parts to your day then this app will be a big help. And no, I don't work for them. My ridiculously glowing review is just because I'm very happy with how helpful it's been and all for under $5.
Also, one of the nicest features is the "Note" section. It allows you to write as much as you need to with no space restriction. Great for developing content or rough drafts of a story. Great app, nice work.

This app works beautifully for me and I a thankful I have it!! I definitely recommend it.
I never write reviews...
I never write reviews...but this APP deserves one. Works seamlessly with i-Cal, a really wonderful tool. I have been using it for about a year and don't have anything at all negative to say about it. Keeps me on track, syncs, notifies, does it all. I manage 3 different calendars though this APP and a ridiculously busy schedule and I on;t know what I would do without it.

The app is ok it would be nice if they could improve the font for the whole app make it bigger and darker the tasks I don't even use font small and light I can't see it please improve if you want me to renew my subscription next year which I was charged with out my knowledge it would also be helpful if the app could sync across all devices so we don't have to go back and forth to make sure we are on the same page!
Don't like the priority on the task
By MD'S lawn
Used to not have to put priority on task before update . I liked it like that for what I use the app for.
No Apple Pencil support but ok otherwise
It's surprising how hard it is to find a planner app. I'm not the only one who's been looking for a digital replacement to my Filofax (or Franklin Planner). Adding appointments and reminders to iCal and Reminders is easy but that's what you do AFTER you've planned. Brainstorming is another kind of brain tool. We need to look at the pages, the time slots and notes to GET the ideas. Planner Pro is the only Personal Organizer I can find but it doesn't allow handwriting :(. Apple Pencil is the perfect companion. I keep waiting/hoping it will be added. The other solution is to purchase or make your own digital planner pages and import them into GoodNotes, where you can use Apple Pencil.
Happy with the app.
Planner Pro has been everything I've needed and was looking for in a calendar app. I think the price for the subscription is fair as it's saving me having to purchase a new calendar/agenda every year (which usually costs me about $20).
One feature I would like to see added is the ability to set certain days of the week for recurring tasks. I have some tasks that I only need a reminder for 5 days out of the week instead of every single day.
*One bug that I'm having problems with is when I edit the details of an event, the app will immediately crash when I save. Hope to see a fix for it eventually!
Works great, keeps things in order
Lost all my stuff!
When the newest update came out, ALL of my events were gone. 😡
I like this app
I feel like this app helps me keep track of things very easily, it's clean and efficient.
My only complaint is that I can't color code the events in my days/weeks/months.
