Arrow keys, where did they go?. This used to be an awesome app. I played games remotely via my phone. I used the arrow key option...which no longer exists. I don’t mind paying, but, if this option doesn’t exist anymore, the app is no use to me. Thank you for your quick response! I am relieved and excited that this product continues to fill my needs!!

You’ll love it from Day One. Fast and easy. More functionality than TeamViewer and they don’t cut me off, even while multitasking on other apps. Better picture quality and you can adjust your resolution, bring up a scroll lever, and re-position interface buttons to where you prefer them to sit on the screen or disappear completely. My annual rate makes this superior service used by Stanford University and University of Pennsylvania (among other great organizations) almost free! The best!!

Great App. I’ve been using this app for so many years now I don’t even know how long it’s been. lol. I have a job where I have to be on call and I used this app to login to my work pc when I’m out and about without taking my laptop. In all the years I’ve used this app I have never had any issues or complaints. I’ve also tried other remote apps and always came back to this one. Highly recommended.

I’ve stumbled into a good app.. Splashtop is unlike any app I’ve ever seen! Most apps that allow you to turn your iPhone/iPad into your computer screen include paid subscriptions to use. Splashtop doesn’t include any paid subscription with exception of real time access anywhere. Its easy to install and doesn’t compute any viruses onto your computer. It isn’t glitchy and works %100 like the brand says. My only complaint is that it’s very hard to press some button as the screen is shown quite small on your phone or iPad. This makes it hard to press certain buttons and it’s adjustable. I also wish it had Bluetooth access to keyboards and controllers to make the experience a little more realistic. If it isn’t much to ask for both of this features would make this app dominate. 9/10 overall. It’s great to be honest.

Awesome App. Time and time again this app has been extremely useful. So many times I’ll be fixing my computer and something will go wrong with the display or my mouse will stop working, and this app is a godsent as it can help me type and use my computer without a display, keyboard, and mouse. My only issue is that I would like to be able to exit back to the pc select menu, but I have no idea how. I have to close and restart the app in order to do it. I would love a “back” feature or something for this. Also did you guys have some sort of setting control that you took out? I remember there being more options but I can no longer find it anymore. Great App. I have been using Splashtop for I think around 5 or 6 years to remote into my computers at home from my phone while I am out and about. I just use it to move files and do little things here and there these days but I used to do heavier computing with it. It has been a stable application and I have been very happy with it. Navigating the screen on an iPhone can be a little cumbersome at times, maybe because with the small screen and big fingers, its easy to close or move things you didn't intend to. But you can pinch the screen to resize what you are looking at. I recommend this app if you are looking for an easy and safe way to remotely connect to your computers.

Works well like always. This is one of the best apps to use for remote services, when if I forgot something at home on my desktop computer, I can always use this program to help pull up something real quick and then allow me to save it to my network drive. So far for me, it has not crashed, but I will update this review if something does happen. The yearly subscription to use the service from a remote location not on your Wi-Fi is priced at about $18 a year, but will be nice to get a better discount for yearly subscription or maybe if I buy a two to three years subscription. Overall I can recommend this app at this time.

Love it, but........ I bought the original Splashtop when it first came out and it was marvelous. It was an all in one package at one low cost. Now you have to pay for access anywhere which is a a shame. I feel like that is key feature to have for a Remote Desktop application without the need to pay a subscription for it.

Had to rebuy and buy again.. I’ve been using Splashtop for several years. I think it’s pretty sad that the previous version stopped working and I had to buy a new version to get the same features it already had. I could understand if they had added extra functionality, but that’s not even the case here.

No longer happy!. I use to love this app but I hadn’t needed to use it for a couple of years; I wanted to start using it again so I tried to sign in but to my surprise It tells me I’m not registered 🙄 whatever I create an account again and login to my iPad but now the issue is when I click on my computer I want to access it takes me to upgrade my personal use to another product with no way to exit this screen to get to my computer. So basically trying to force me to upgrade which won’t be happening

Perfect except for one flaw. I’ve been a user of this for many years and it’s very reliable. Lately I’ve found that my cursor can’t move to the right all the way. Like there’s an invisible barrier that prevents me a couple inches before the right edge. That makes it difficult to close programs, Access task bar programs, etc. you can work around it but hopefully a fix will solve this.

Phone touch screen not working. Three stars on the app for iPhone due to not being able to scroll or do similar single finger movements like on ipad. When two finger tapping from trackbar to touch, no touch features work except tap and hold. There seems to be no reason (at least to me) to ever want or need to move the entire screen around when I’ve already got it all focused and it snaps back anyways.

A bit upset... Update: I purchased two apps that allow me to access my Macs from anywhere without a subscription. ...... I was an early adoter. I bought the Spashtop Remote Desktop for iOS and Kindle Fire. On Kindle I bought the regular version and the HD version. I also bought the Mac app Splashtop 2. That said, I use to have access from anywhere via Gmail account. I received a message that I would keep my access if I switched to Splashtop Personal. I did, but never got the permanent upgrade. I sent a support request years ago, but it just went unanswered. I could see the ticket via the website. So, I sent a few follow up emails over ther years. I sent them screenshots of the offer and of my original support/ticket request that I made via the website that just stated pending/unanswered. Then I finally got a reply from someone and I am told that the offer has expired. I tried to get it when it was valid. I submitted a support request via the website. I sent a few follow up emails over the years. I sent screenshots of the Splashtop apps that I purchased. Nothing. I was given 3 months. I rarely used the app/service. I used the anywhere less than three times to show others. I only purchased it, because it seemed like something that would come in handy and it seemed cool.

It just works! And how!. I am impressed by Splashtop all around. Their software just works and it works better than competitors for free? Crazy. I originally started to use Splashtop because it was the only remote service I could find that was Mac to Win compatible with a high response rate AND high quality. (I just got done playing Doom 2016 off my iPhone 8 by streaming it from my PC! Relatively low frame rate, but looked good, and felt O so right.) I have yet to find a better service, free or not. That being said, I was skeptical about their app. Its just so common for apps to be a let down in these kind of uses. But NOT TODAY. Works great and has perfect flexibility and tools to meet all your specific and potentially obsessive nerdy needs.

Good but can use some improvements.. It works almost perfectly, but I have a few problems. When I connect to my laptop to play play a game on steam, it will kick me form my game and say that the game crashed. I will try to play Portal again, but will have to be careful. Also, I would like controller support for my games. The games themself have controller support, but this app doesn’t. If you guys can make it possible to use Bluetooth keyboards and controllers, Then many people will have a better experience. And please make it so Splashtop will support apps that require the entire screen to use. Thanks!

I love Splashtop, but I wish there were more features. Why change something that’s not broken? I have to agree with that statement as Splashtop has become my go-to for computer access anywhere. It works great, and has very little latency. It’s soo low I’ll sometimes use my phone as a screen to play PC games and comfortably play. I just wish they’d become more progressive with their features, for example -I mentioned gaming with splashtop. Imagine if you could use Splashtop to game with your phone using your PC to do all the work. Imagine having a controller button layout on your phone/splashtop that works with video games on your computer. A lot of games support controller layout, it wouldn’t be to hard of a task to do I imagine anyways.. I could be completely wrong. -Number pad. I wish splashtop had a number pad. That’s the only two things stopping me from giving splashtop a 5 star. It’s been in the same state for as long as I can remember with very little noticeable progression in updates. But again, why change something that’s not broken? So I get where they are coming from.

Amazing, Just Missing PC Volume And Music Control’s. I’ve been using this app with the Access Anywhere Pack for a few years now and LOVE IT!! Connection is literally beautiful if you have a good home internet. It just really needs to add some missing features like PC volume control and music controls to be perfect. Those two things alone would have all my family sign up to control all of our media stuff 😊 I would definitely pay for them as an add-on 💰

Great for PC/Mac/iPad, but not iPhone. I’ve had a great experience using Splashtop to access my computers regardless if it’s from a PC, Mac, or iPad Pro. On the iPhone, I’ve only gotten it to work once and that was when I was sitting next to the PC I was trying to access. Regardless if I’m on the same WiFi network or 4G, the iPhone version has never worked for my on my 8 Plus. The iPad has never had any issues, though.

By far the BEST screen mirror app!!. I have been searching for months and finally came across this app! Others want to charge you monthly and there is so much lag. Not this app! It's free and the framerate is phenomenal even playing my PC games! Thank you splashtop!!

4.975 out of 5 - Works Great! Using Mac/iOS to remote into a Desktop-Windows system. Works great on the fly. Only challenge I’ve had is right-clicking on a trackpad when using a MacBook Pro to remote into a Windows computer. The standard Command Key to CTRL key conversion to Windows doesn’t behave the same way when remotes in to a Windows operating system. No issue however when using Splashtop on an Apple iPhone or iPad as the phone/tablet versions of the app support and tap + hold gesture to make the “right-click” menu appear.

Reliable and just plain good. I have used both the free personal version and the business version of Splashtop for years and it has always been very reliable. As far as the computer you’re accessing remotely is turned on and online, you can count on being able to control it remotely. To me the interphase is very intuitive and it also adapts to your style as a trackpad or like a touch screen

Just what I've been looking for!. Thank you Splashtop Business Access! This is exactly what I'm looking for, now I can access my PC from anywhere, and if my game disconnects, I use this app to connect it right back! (The sign up trouble I had earlier was bc I included a symbol in my password of choice, so ignore that review).

Multi Screen issue. i love the idea of this application. it works great for the most part. the only big issue i’ve run into is that i can’t switch the monitor i’m viewing. i have a windows pc and i am using my phone to access it remotely. the app gives me the option to switch to my second monitor, but it is not allowing it for some reason. very upset at this because my second monitor is where most of my work gets done. if this gets fixed my review will be changed. I have tried moving the output from my computer to software/hardware instead of the default, and it is still not working.

Perfect Remote Desktop app. This is the best I’ve ever used. Location away from the original computer determines lag, but it’s still under 1 second from click on app to click on original. Wonderful app.

Amazing app. Can’t get over how great Splashtop is. Never have issues with it, and use it all the time to access my rig while at school. Very fast and efficient app. UI is great. Only thing is I could hide the cursor and completely hide the mouse buttons in trackpad mode.

Great app. Just downloaded it and I already love it. I’m in college and this help me keep my professors lecture videos a couple inches from my notes preventing me from constantly looking up and down. This saves me time and neck pain. Thank you for this!!

Brilliant App! I only want one option added... Loved how becoming “wireless” made it easy for me to share the screen on my iPhone/iPad, and I loved the speed of the app with no to minimal lag. I just want one option, I want to be sure that I’m using my iPhone/iPad screen to its full potential “retina”. Is there a way to add that option in the next update for the companion app for Mac or windows “Splashtop Streamer”? Thank you again for this awesome app!

CAVEAT EMPTOR. I was an early adopter of Splashtop in April 2014. Originally it worked well enough both locally and remotely. I only used it when I was away on vacation, every couple of years for a very few sessions. So, I used it maybe 4 hours total since 2014. I thought I’d test it on my new iMac getting ready for our next vacation. Evidently, they’ve made changes so it only works if you pay them every month, even if you don’t use it for years at a time? So, I contacted support from within the app, explaining my situation and requesting guidance ... twice now, since their was no reply the first time. They ignored both requests! I had considered paying their monthly extortion but add in no support and it’s buyer beware, time! Obviously, I won’t pay for something I won’t use and can’t even get support for. Caviar emptor

Exactly what I needed. Tried Chrome Remote Desktop, tried Microsoft RD, tried TeamViewer (who shadow-banned my IP for submitting a support ticket, but that’s another story) and none of them compare to Splashtop. I use it with Steam Link for giving admin access to Steam mainly, and it does that and more. And it’s free. Like free free. I was waiting for them to ask for some cash, and they should because it’s a great product, but they didn’t. Great app. Works perfectly.

I LOVE this app. I do SEO for local businesses and often need files from my PC, or to run a report on my PC. This is the easiest, smoothest screen sharing app I’ve ever used. I use it on my iPhone 6s and top of the line kindle Fire tablet. It’s great on both and makes my life easier, more productive and profitable. I love it and I recommend it highly!

I’m trying... 😩. I really like this app... as long as we’re on the same network 🤷🏾‍♂️. I’ve paid the $16 for anywhere access and all I get is a black screen. If I turn the monitor on it works, but anytime I turn the monitor off, I see a black screen on my phone app. I really want to give this 5 starts, but I’m not able to get what I’ve paid for. I’ve done what other forums have suggested, but to no avail. If any of the developers can help that would be so appreciated.

Well about 10 yrs ago I had a computer and a I pad so I was Looking for some cool apps for it so I ran across this one called Splashtop Personal well I read up on it it said can get to you’re computer remotely from phone iPad or computer so I said too my self now that be cool so they had it for half price So I got it i said man there No way this can work so I got User name and pass word and I click from network and it said connect was Sussful on my screen so. I went too my computer. There it was I moved the mouse and it moved it on the computer that was amazing I was big stuffed u know but I still got it and always will just wanted too share Barry Bp1216. I regret upgrading.. I used to LOVE this app. I used it for everything. I used with while streaming to switch scenes if I had to suddenly leave the room, controlling my pc from bed etc. AS SOON AS I UPGRADED TO THE ANYWHERE PACK IT BEGAN TO CLOSE ON ITS OWN, RANDOMLY DISCONNECT, AND HONESTLY ITS BARELY USABLE NOW. Update: Years later, same issues. I haven’t used the paid version in a while in hopes that they’d work out the kinks but it’s still as unable as before. Changing from 3 stars to 2 stars. I wish there were a way to downgrade the app to the unpaid version.

IT WORKS GREAT!!. I was trying to find a way to use my laptop as a windows tablet and I found this! My internet is terrible and it didn’t lag or anything! If you have a laptop and an iPad and you wish to have a windows 10 tablet then I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS! And plus, IT’S FREE!!

Fix the Mac Pro bug! Not macbook. I have had this issue with my Mac Pro for going on a year now. I worked with support and it’s still not working with the streamer app. **update to developer response** I have low confidence it will be fixed when your QA team isn’t checking Mac Pro on every release. This will be the 4th time I have contacted you in some way over this issue.

Early Adopter & Still Loving it!!!!!. I’ve got to hand it to these guys. They have made an amazing suite of apps and my favorite is this one. I used it ALL the time. It just works no setting up RDP sessions or remembering computer names. Just install the software on each computer and your phone, sign in and done! I want to thank these guys a ton for grandfathering me in to keep my unlimited access because I bought the app when it first came out almost 7 years ago. If your wondering if you should pay for the yearly access DO IT!

I can’t afford the subscriptions. So, when I got this app I connected it to my PC then all of a sudden I have to buy the subscription I don’t have that much money for this. Even other people can’t mostly afford it and I want to see if you can make a skip action so I can go through without paying, it made me mad and I won’t be able to do what I need to do on this app. I appreciate the app of course!

Great remote access app. This app has worked very well in my move from competing Remote Desktop services. My only complaint is I wish there was a way to customize resolutions rather than the 4 options that are currently available. (Specifically a 1080 option on 4K devices). Hope to see that feature in the future!

Okay app but there is one problem. So I downloaded the app because I saw it on The Original Ace’s channel and thought it would be really cool to play computer games on my phone and turn off my monitor and still see it on the phone (which is really cool by the way) but there was a problem when I stopped using it. My computer started being a square or a smaller version of its normal size. My screen used to take up 100% of my screen and after the app it takes up about 20% of my screen. If one of the developers can please help me with that problem It will be great.

Reliable. This app does everything it says. I’m most impressed with the small size. Apps nowadays are super bloated even basic ones. So I am always pleased when the developer actually knows what they are doing and aren’t super lazy I recommend this to all my colleagues.

Good, but with some connection issues. When I first got the app it worked flawlessly and could turn on the computer while it's in sleep mode, but one time I clicked shut down on my pc then the next time I tried Splashtop, it couldn't connect. I was pretty sure that it was just because it was shut down. When I bought the access anywhere subscription before my vacation, it just wouldn't connect and I left my pc on. I recommend this app to everyone and it works most of the time and the connection issues are few and far between.

Won’t connect. I’ve been using Spashtop for a while now but recently I’ve been getting a pop up asking me to purchase the subscription for access anywhere. The problem is that I am trying to use Splashtop while on the same network as my PC. I checked twice just to make sure and I still can’t seem to connect. Any advice?

WOW. What can I not say good about this program!! I have a slow internet connection at home, but fast at the office. It worked great! I was able to check on my pc at home and restart my programs without any problems! Way worth the yearly fee to use the software!! Thanks!!

Not working at all. I downloaded this and tried to connect to my laptop after creating an account and setting up the Splashtop streamer. I was never able to connect after repeated tries. Everytime I try on the app, I get redirected to the screen asking me to buy the anywhere access pack. I don’t want to buy anything. As promised in the app page, all I am trying to do is connect to my laptop on the same local network (which I double checked). I tried port forwarding, switching off the vpn etc etc. Nothing worked. What a waste of time. Deleting this now.

Most used app I have!!!. Use this app all the time. Keeps me in touch with multiple PCs and I always have them whenever I need them. Great app and will be a long term customer. Honestly have never had an issue while using the app. Thank You for such a great product.

Mouse continues to not work.. When everything is working this app is 5 stars. What happens most of the time for me is that the mouse functions do not work. It does me no good to log into my computer and then not be able to click on anything because the mouse doesn’t work. It use to happen maybe every other time I log on but for the past month it’s been every time.

Best App Ever!. I use this app everyday for work. I have been using the app for almost two years now and I would say that I have thoroughly battle tested it! I have a PC at home that maintains a VPN connection to work that is RDP'd into my desktop at work. I use Splashtop from both my iPhone and Macbook to my home PC to access my work PC. This way state is maintained if I lose connectivity from my phone or Mac. This is an awesome setup.

Not good on iPad. There are much better options out there. I can’t seem to full screen my desktop. The new trackpad feature on iPadOS doesn’t seem to work well, it doesn’t tack the curser, it waits for a click. Also, the FPS is awful. I am removing on the same network that is 5 feet from the access point. Other apps have much better FPS. I paid for a whole year and have not used it. I have been using Jump and am happier with that one so far.

Great app. Software is amazing for being free. I can control my computer as if I am sitting right there. Response time is quick. Did not experience any lag with any application I ran. I even ran Autodesk Inventor from my phone while eating dinner to finish a project. If you are looking for a great remote app, this is it.

"unfortunately out of our realm of expertise" Tech Supp. Haha never had a Tech Support Department tell me, "the network configuration of a phone would unfortunately be out of our realm of expertise... this would have to be self-researched... our only suggestion would be doing some more self research as to why" before lol App is almost a 10/10 when works, its like a 9.9/10 or 9.8/10 app. My 2013 iphone had no problems, 2021 iphone gave me problems until app became impossible to use.

Longtime customer. I have been using this app for years - has never skipped a beat for me. Use it to do remote IT help for the parents !!

Works well. Works well over my home wireless. In a pinch, I use it to watch a movie on my pc from the other room when the codec is tricky. Often use it to save work and switch off my pc from bed. Interface and keyboard setup arre easy to understand and nicely laid out. I have not tried to access my pc from outside my home network as that would need an in-app purchase to enable. Tempted to try though as the price is reasonable as a yearly subscription. It would be nice to test roaming access before subscribing though.

Brilliant!. It works very well, you can access your own computer easily and do lots of things, it doesn't feel limited and is very user-friendly.

Beautiful App / But It doesn’t work.. Splashtop is a beautiful app but I’m having quite a bit of trouble. When I try to connect to my PC, it never works it brings me to the anywhere pack or something. I’m connected to the same internet and I’m right there with it but doesn’t work. Cheers.

iPhone X support NOT. How can a subscribed app be so poorly implemented for iPhone X ... I will find alternative since answers from support department are equally unimpressive.

Brilliant app!!. Being using app for 3 years now. I now use it to control my computer stick running windows 10 via iphone and to access my laptop running windows 10 via my 1st gen ipad. I can use my iphone as a remote for my tv’s computer stick and use my ipad 1st gen as a full powered windows 10 pc. Very happy with the ease of connectivity. I give it 8 stars! Because i used to have 2 dusty 1st gen ipads that are now better than when new!

Not Another Account. Why do I need to create yet another account to use this on my loacal area network. The iPad version of this app allows to use it on a local area network without opening any account. However the iPhone version requires you to open a Splashtop account in order to use it on your local area network. Why? Why? Why? I am sick and tired of opening yet another account just to be able to use a piece of software, especially when there is absolutely no need for it. I am just as tired of companies using this account scam to collect, use and sell information. This is a real deal breaker for me and I will find another way to achieve a desktop connection without this app.

Long time user. Ok I should really give a review of this software. I use it all the time and it is flawless. I've used everything and this is the best. Highly highly recommend this. Thank you guys.

AWESOME. It is amazing it totally freaked my parents out when i showed em lol the only bad thing but is it is square and i would really love it to be wide screen as my computer screen is a rectangle not a square hope u can make this better in the next update.

Love this app. I love this app it changed my life. No more being huddled over my desk. I can just use my iPad mini and have the power of a full blown desktop in the palm of my hand at any time and anywhere. One thing that would be awesome if this app was supported on the Xbox one. Xbox one have now opened up their store to other 3rd party developers. Please make an Xbox one app!

Couldn't be better. I use this app to control movies and select shows while in bed. While the controls may take some getting used to, this app is far better than I was expecting. Using it on an iPhone is a little difficult, I might purchase a tablet just to use this app!

Works, but why is the UX lagging now?. Was a great experience before. Now I've noticed on iphone 5S in portrait mode that it lags when I move the mouse from side to side when the screen doesn't fit. Works fine in full screen landscape though.

Splashtop. It can find my computers but it won't connect because the anywhere access package page keeps blocking me. I had Splashtop 1 and it worked fine. PLZ GIVE ME ANSWERS!

First time use of app. Interface and connection seems easy and simple. Easy to use on home network. Its a shame we're forced to create account for home network use. Concerned about how customizable bandwidth is, to reduce 3G/cellular data usage.

Splashtop 2. Very happy, screen on iPhone 5 is a bit small to view standard monitor, but that's no fault of the app. Load time is a bit slow on 3G, and recently drops out more often, it's a great app and functional but the response time is not great

easy and good to use. I use this app for long time ago and I feel it's easy to use when you are outside or during meeting. u can still use 3G to connect to ur home PC or laptop doing any comment u want do.

Great app!. Wanted to check on a game That I had running on my pc while I am out of the house and this app pulls that off flawlessly. Can do anything I usually do on my pc but now I can do it from my phone :D Well worth the 99 cents

Used to be better. It's not a bad remote access app but the image is not as sharp as it used to be and the latest update's access bar is obtrusive and needs an option to be hidden. The trackpad mode also is a bit jerky where it was reasonably smooth before.

Want password saved for every login. I don't want to fill in passwords every time I login different PCs.

Brilliant. Best app I have ever downloaded. It connects to your wifi along with your computer and you can access your computer through your phone. Was scared when it asked me to sign up at the start but all it takes is your email address and a password. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you!!

A little expansive for remote. The app is sweet, works a gem and really not a lot of lag. I do find the premium a little expensive but until I need it that bad that's when I'll purchase it. Good app'

Splashtop 2. This is the best remote app i have ever used. I would not think it will be this fast! Its just like you are on the desktop yourself. Great Apps guys. Get it.

Best Remote Desktop I have used. Had the most intuitive controls I have seen and works faultlessly 90% of the time.

Good improvements. I've been using splashtop since its first release and have been impressed with improvements in the speed and stability of connection and the interface intuitiveness.

Is cool man. I usually don't write review for apps, but this is really cool. The only bad thing I can notice it that the sound comes out of my tablet and not my computer. There is probably some way to fix it, but overall, really cool! Great job.

It’s a great app. As the title of this review says except maybe it would be nice if there wasn’t a half a second delay on the audio

Excellent RDP on mobile data and wifi. Low cost access anywhere pack means I can access my own files, monitor my computer and its downloads, it also means i can assist friends who are having issues with their computers even if I'm not in the same country, or I don't even need my own computer to do so. The touchpad function is fully featured unlike similar programs and makes access easy. 5 (very compared and researched) stars!

Better than other similar tools. After using logmein and two other remote tools over the past three years, all with some level of frustration or difficulty. Splashtop has finally made the one stop logon from my iPhone a reality. In about 70 hours of use I estimate I have only had a handful of issues that were a problem, but they were sorted out momentarily, most often its was just a connection issue. In using other tools in the same amount of time I couldn't even begin to count the occurrences. It's worth the subscription price absolutely. For just a couple dollars a month you get a perfect remote.

Splashtop. Pretty amazing! From anywhere in the world to be able to control my home computer eg turn on the camera etc is a glimpse of the future. Works best with an LTE connection.

This app is great testing some games for it. This app is great still needs some improvements the quality goes poor when I play a game like Gmod and its needs a Game controller layout menu becuz I been testing this Gmod game and it works :D, just needs good quality speed plus a game controller layout to be able to play Gmod on iPod touch or IPads that would be great for other people who has this game or other games they have got to try test this layout stuff.

Great app.. Use it all the time to control videos on my Mac remotely. Great when you're in bed and don't want to get up to turn on your computer :-D Would recommend :-D

Love it!. I switched to this app after trying various others. To my pleasant surprise this app keeps getting better and better and more robust. It is currently fantastic and with the auto login options and ability to stay logged in when using other iPhone/iPad apps it is remarkable !!!!!

Brilliant Application. I have been using the application for many years now and it hasn’t let me down yet. If you want to be able to access your computer from anywhere, home, out and about or overseas. This is the application for you. I wouldn’t recommend any other application. Remarkable mobile app and software.. I downloaded this app years ago. At the time I was trying out a TON of remote apps and software looking for something that worked for what I needed. (Multiple devices and users on a network). I came across Splashtop then, maybe 2012 or late 2011 and I have never, not once, had problems that related to this software. It is now 2017. Since then, Splashtop has expanded and grown into the monster it is now. In terms of products that have become better with time, Splashtop has gone from great to astonishing. I now use their desktop and access anywhere packages and they outshine the mobile construction programs we use in my industry (that cost hundreds or thousands more), and require an annual (expensive) renewing fee. If nothing else, this app is exactly what you need for remote access and compatibility across platforms. I know, I sound like some kind of glossy eyed rainbow painter here, but it really is not that often someone designs something like this, and definitely not at this price. If you need remote access, you'd be making a mistake not trying this developers products Cheers.

Bad referral.. Website linked me to the iPhone version... When I'm using an iPad... Now I've spent my money and I can't get a refund....

Subscription Fee. There's a subscription fee for $25 a year or you can't use it. There's other free alternatives, no reason to use this app. Uninstalled.

So Amazing !. I really love this app so much !

Works well. App is very solid, easy to set up not much can go wrong. My only complaint is that when I’m watching Netflix from my computer to my iphone it’s laggy and freezes every few seconds. My home internet is 1gb/s download and 30mb/s upload and My phone is on a wifi of around 25mb/s. Other than that the app is fantastic can’t wait to play around and explore the possibilities

Very good app. It's much better than LogMeIn by far but please add a freaking keyboard or tell how to make it show up on screen because you said "play all the 3D games: World of Warcraft..." but I can't login to WoW since I don't have access to my keyboard. Anyways nice and useful app. A must have.

Great for bdo gaming as well. I used to use remotr for playing bdo while away from computer but could not find a good Remote Desktop app until now as it was discontinued. Could deff use a few extra timbits like a analog on left to move around for wasd instead of having to spam the keyboard but other than that it’s perfect for afk gaming stuff as well. Great purchase imo.

Been using it for 2 years now and love it!!. Probably the most reliable app out of the man I use! And it cuts out a lot of time you'd otherwise have to run to work yourself to fix

Bull Crap!. I bought the original Spashtop app on my blackberry play book last year, it was awesome, no this splashtop "Personal" forces you to subscribe to their service as a monthly fee to be able to access your computer that's not on the same network! So, you have to BUY the app and then also pay for a monthly service! If I was on the same network why wouldn't I just use my computer as it is???

Fake. This app should not be advertised as free. As soon as you install and set it up the only thing it does is show an add to upgrade to the paid version. Having that issue I’m ever sure I’d risk spending anything on this piece of junk. Remote mouse is by far 100x better.

Lifesaver. This app has been a lifesaver for me. It is invaluable in helping me address problems and issues that my aging parents experience frequently with their PC. What a fantastic tool.

Great App. Higher frame rate, better resolution, lower latency than Chrome Desktop and allows for remote wake up, which Chrome Desktop can’t do. Might be a bit harsh since Chrome Desktop is free, but I heard from others who used other paid competitors that Splashtop is still the cheapest and best simultaneously.

Major issues. Connects well. That’s about it. No ability to fit my iPad Pro screen no matter what resolution I set my monitor at. No ability to draw on apps from my computer. Making it worthless in graphics and photo editing. Needs a lot of work.

Crashes on ios11. Just crashes on ios11 I don't know for sure that this is ios11 related. I don't use it daily, but discovered it just after ios11 hit my phone (a 6s). The problem persisted after deleting and reinstalling. So far, it crashes after saying logging in, then refreshing 100% of the time that I try while I am on cellular data. I did note that while on wi-fi it did not crash, but I have not tested this extensively.

Outstanding App!!. This app is the best I have tried for remote access. It is intuitive to use and the interface is very functional. It works best on the iPad but I use it occasionally on my iPhone with no issues. No glitchy screens either. A must for every iPad owner who has a desktop at home.

Very useful! Would recommend!. I've had this for just over 4 years now, starting in university so I didn't have to lug everything around before "clouds" were a thing. I've installed this on every computer/laptop/phone I own. Easy to setup, good connectivity and reaction time, and user interface is easy to use! Only had the app kick me out once or twice when switching multiple monitors.

Used to be awesome. Until they nerfed the remote access (even if you don't upgrade). I already paid $20 for the previous version that had remote access and remote access doesn't have any financial requirements. It's purely a money grab. You should all hang your heads in disgrace.

Deceptive change to monthly fee. This 'Generation 2' version of the software (at the time of this review, the original first generation 'Splashtop Remote Desktop for iPhone & iPod' app is still fully available) appears to be nothing more than a change to a different money making model for the company, one that switches from the original app that gives full remote access from anywhere over any network or internet (including cell), to this app that only gives remote access at your location (local network) and you now have to pay a monthly fee for remote access to work from anywhere else (i.e. via the internet, including cell). I've looked at the features and website, and though there are suggestive statements that promote this 'next generation' app as something better, I can't find it. Everything, seems the same, performance, etc, and the only reason I can find for the monthly charges in this version of the app, according to the website, is: "We are maintaining a global relay server infrastructure to support Splashtop 2 users". Maybe this makes a difference if you are remotely accessing from the other side of the world, that I don't know, but aside from the initial setup of the original app (which, since they have over 8 million users, 8 million seem to have managed that just fine), this 'relay' system sounds more like just something extra put between your iDevice and your remotely accessed computer. All guessing aside, there is no practical benefit over the original app that I can find. The company also states on their website: "If you're a current iPad customer, you can UPGRADE FOR FREE simply by launching your Splashtop app! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain." I guess they don't consider now having to pay a monthly fee worth mentioning, or that 'nothing to lose' doesn't include your money (but to be fair, you only have to start paying a monthly fee if you want to remotely access your computer while away from your home/office (local network) - but isn't that really what most people got the app for in the first place?) I also tried to find a list of differences between the original and second generation of this same app. On their website I found "What's the difference between Splashtop 2 and Splashtop Remote Desktop?" (bet you can't find it though, it is extremely well buried), and of tons or related questions with answers that were available on their website, this was the only question I looked at that required you to sign-up and login to see the answer. Summary: The app (original and this 'generation 2' pricing version) is great. The primary difference with this 'generation 2' version is the way you pay, and it is substantially more and ongoing. What I find most disturbing is the way the company seems to be deceiving and pushing (free upgrade within existing app) people to this version for no practical benefit to anyone (other than them and their profits) - if they had just been more open and honest about it, rather than playing deceptive games and misleading people, I could totally respect that - this I don't think much of. Go for the original app (full access from everywhere and no monthly fees).

Easy to use program!. I have used several types of remote programs. This one has been very easy to use, so much so, I subscribe for a year to give it a good test. I help several couples who are not PC or Apple efficient. So I jump on from time to time to help and to make sure they have security programs up to date, etc This program is easier to use then the last one and much more reasonably priced. I will recommend this to others.

Very nice, wishing for the LAN one again.. Wish they'd bring back the LAN one to the fancy phones, I've got it on my old phones. This one is great for WAN when I'm out of the house but I don't want to constantly type in a pass phrase to connect to PCs and Macs in the house. The old one let you save the pass phrase for each PC.

Black screen. Installed the app on mi iPhone and worked great. However I installed the software on my PC and now all I can see is a black screen. This happened the minute I tried using the app on this particular PC and all I can see now is the Bios boot screen and then nothing. Please help.

3 stars need help!. I put my phone volume to ‘3’ so the phone can pick up my voice and the gameplay at the right range. But when I go to review the video the audio is on full blast and my voice isn’t to be heard. Please help

So great. In lieu of a mobile version of MtG’s Magic Arena, I realized I could use a Remote Desktop app to play the PC version on my phone. This app allows me to do that very efficiently and I am very grateful for it. Two things I wish it had: 1. Ability to add just a space bar to the screen 2. Ability to have a constant left click anytime you touch the screen, to make clicking and swiping gestures easier

Trash company with no morals.. They are like children who cannot take responsibility for their mistakes. They will screw you and then explain that they can’t help because they have policies blah blah blah. YOUR POLICIES SHOULD MAKE ALLOWANCES FOR EXCEPTIONS IN CASES WHERE YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROBLEM. Sure they do, you just don’t care to fix peoples problems. Not getting another dollar from me. Works great!. It works great and gives me quick, remote access on the go, for simple tasks like rebooting or checking progress of an encoding job.

Unable to cancel subscription. I’m very upset and disappointed with product. Do not purchase subscription because you will not be able to cancel it. I can’t cancel while I log in on my computer and I can’t cancel from my iTunes account. It only shows three different subscription options.

Works. Used to have problems using T-Mobile lte with the app last year but is fixed now. Love the app for all things remote.

what. So basically I was playing Minecraft and my screen was going crazy and I couldn’t drag my cursor because it would just move the entire screen on my phone

Subscription. The app is great, works like a charm on the iphone X. The only issue is that there should be a one time life time subscription of the “Anywhere pack”. charge it as you may like but you should give the people that lifetime option.

When it works. Sometimes it works. Other times both devices are connected to the same network and it tells me to purchase the access anywhere pack. This was supposed to be fixed in a updated version of the desktop app. Downloaded the version and it keeps happening. Lol.

Used to be great now ... not so much.. I can not believe the ridiculous response from the developer about my feedback. I have used forever. The update no longer works with the Linux streamer. Please fix. This has been in beta for more than 5 years. When will this properly be moved to general release? Hands down the best way to access windows and Macs, and Linux machines. I used all three because I am the desktop support guy in my family. Since the new update Linux has stopped working so I am forced to go back to real VNC. Makes me wonder why I subscribe any longer.

I love this app but…. I enjoy this app, it works very well other than a couple glitches every so often. I would enjoy this app more if I could use Bluetooth devices on my phone to my pc over wifi.

App is great until support becomes non-existent. I loved this app until it could no longer connect to the iTunes app store to verify my subscription. I have sent in request to get help on resolving the issue but never received any help. My support ticket is still sitting in the open status 1 year later. So much potential, but no support has pushed me away.

Great App. Must have app. Easy to work with and connects with the home network. App is very secure just ensure a strong password for the app that you create.

Don't trust it. Ok so I readed the reviews just in case it's legit and it is but once I downloaded for my self it asked me for an account, So I don't trust it and I'm guessing that the 5 star reviews are hacked by the dev by just logging in to it. (I don't trust it and I shouldn't want your account to be at risk so please don't download it and start signing up)

Used to be great, now constantly crashes. This app has been my go-to for years as far as remote software. Unfortunately, very recently it started to lag and then immediately crash. Then you have to wait a minute or two to load it up or it thinks a session is open.

Problems!! No support!!. It worked for a while . While it was working, I paid for the yearly subscription. Then they pushed updates that broke it. Now everytime I click something, my mouse flickers and changes and the click is inches off. It is unusable I contacted support but they did not reply. Do not waste your money!

Works really well both when I'm on the same network and remotely. Wish there were better options around resolution scaling but the performance is great

Worked great until I got an iPhone 10. Couple issues now with iPhone 10 -Landscape mode isn’t working, screen gets all scrambled up. -Screen isn’t centered. -Actual cursor clicks to the right of what Splashtop shows.

Update has broken everything. After the most recent update nothing works the way I want it to. Pre-update the app worked flawlessly. Only since the update it’s been nothing but headaches. I’ve been a customer of Splashtop for years, but there will not be another year. Highly disappointed. I don’t pay 17 dollars a year for this app to work the way it’s working now. There are better free alternatives.

Does not actually allow you to connect.. I’m not sure why the great review, but this app does not even allow you to connect without purchasing a premium subscription. Not even a chance to try. You will also have to jump through hoops “authenticating” devices. Can’t really comment on how well it works, as that’s not an option with this app apparently.

Good but. Sometimes when I try to connect to my computer it tells me to get the anywhere access pack when I’m on the same Wi-Fi as my computer

Love the app but.... When I connect to my computer (windows 10 home) I can’t see my screen. I think this is the update to iOS12 because I’ve NEVER had this problem until I updated my phone. The screen SOMETIMES shows up and then freezes.

App stopped working. Your app stopped letting me switch between displays suddenly. I tried to contact you through the “contact us” link, but that just takes me to a FAQ which is less than useless. So you get a 1⭐️ review until you fix both issues.

Great but…. The features of this app are phenomenal, it works. But they should say somewhere to NOT let anyone log into your computer as they can make your screen black or your keyboard and mouse inputs useless.

Subscription required?. I purchased the Personal Edition a few years ago, and when I was in an office it allowed me to connect to my home pc. Great. Now I just want to connect within my home lan (which at one point did not require a subscription). Now it seems to ☹️. What’s going on?

Not free anymore. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, on both my iphone and pc. I guess you have to pay for personal over the wifi now cause i tried everything and it keeps taking me to the purchase page. Sad. Really liked this app too. Had it for well over a year

Game pad support?. Wasn’t there game pad support on the iPhone version before? I remember being able to play my games on the go and wasn’t allowed to have a tablet.

Some really nice interface tweaks in this version. Selecting between multiple monitors by name, multiple functions for the icons, well done!

Broken Function Keys.. After the last update they removed the ability to repeatedly press the function key without the keys fading away. If the function key is programmed to brightness or volume for example you can no longer repeatedly tap the function key to lower the volume/brightness incrementally. Frustrating.

Wow what a piece of garbage this has become. Keeps freezing when rotating my phone on iOS 12.1 iPhone XS Max, this never happened before I’m running Mac OS Mojave with latest patches and running in 5k resolution. I have tried many combinations but I suspect it’s on Splashtops end. I no longer use this I VPN and then use VNC much more solid and first lock up my phone.

Been using it for years. Honored to have been an early adopter this app /program is the only one I use for remote access to my home Pc. Swift point mouse even works with it
