Had it for years, used to be better.... In short -It's a nice idea and is kinda fun to have. BUT I wouldn't recommend use as a main alarm (or main health tracking device if you need reliable data). Lots of updates. But the app can get pretty glitchy with not allowing alarm time to adjust, which obviously is important if you want to wake up on time. The sleep tracker isn't super accurate, but it's decent if you want to know just how many hours you were out...which is legitimately the only reason I've kept it this long. The heart rate monitor has never shown mine accurately. The app also has a lot of extra health content that you don't have access to unless you buy premium or another of their developer's app. Takes up quite a bit of space especially once you start logging some days of sleep.

Almost there. I am using the free version. I love the app and it's integration with the Argus app. The three features I would like to see (unless I just can't find them or they are a part of a premium version) are: ability to edit hours (the app thinks I'm sleeping when it's just me laying in bed for 2 hours after my kid woke up screaming - I did not get 8:54 hours of good, quality sleep), a sleep quality rating (even if the app says my sleep was of good quality, how rested do I feel?), and recording of audio (am I snoring, talking in my sleep, etc. - anything that might indicate truly restless sleep).

The worst!. I absolutely HATE this app. My work has a Virgin Pulse program where e can earn money for tracking things like exercise and sleep. This is the only sleep app that is compatible with the program. If you have the free version, it’s a pain in the neck to set every night. I have to go through 2 or 3 ads and it’s not easy to bypass them, so I end up accidentally visiting the ads website because the way to exit out is a tiny, tiny x in all different places. Then, many times it just just stops tracking your sleep, so there is no alarm and no credit for points. I am also a night shift person and I don’t slept well during the day. So, if I am not in what the app determines is deep sleep or light sleep it will not give you credit for being in bed for 7 hours or more. Same thing if my husband is having a restless night. His movement in the bed will be enough to have the app say I’m not sleeping and I don’t get my points. Then, I though well maybe the paid version is better. But... then I saw how much it is and for a sleep app it’s expensive and I HATE the free version so much, that I can’t bring my self to pay for it. Virgin Pulse needs to have a better sleep tracking app than this and I have already told them as much.

Huge Banner Ads. I downloaded this app looking forward to testing it out. Unfortunately I was greeted by a huge banner add seemingly across some of the controls, or at leas it appeared so. When I tried to x out of them I got the upgrade page where I discovered the high price of 30 bucks a year - a price I’d be happy to pay, by the way, if the product were sufficiently impressive. Because of the aggressive, in-your-face approach, I never gave it a chance to wow me. The developer should reconsider this approach and maybe let people test drive the app before hitting them over the head. Btw, this is my very first negative app review. Congrats

Forced to use. Like another reviewer, I’m forces to use this app as part of a Virgin Pulse program through employer. For weeks, my phone’s volume has been going to max level and I couldn’t figure out why. I even contacted Apple support to see if it was some weird bug after update. Finally dawned on me that it didn’t happen if I wasn’t using this app. Did a little test and sure enough my volume went straight up! I have to manually reset phone volume each morning after using this app. I only use this app to track sleep time and have the soundscapes and alarm volume in app set to off or zero. I sent a bug report via app so we’ll see....anyone else have this issue???

Poor Choices from Developer. Let’s start with the “free” app costing $1.99. That’s not free. They push their subscription a bit too hard, making it challenging to just use the app. The ad screens are hard to close! Also, as you go to bed and set the alarm, an ad for a mobile game pops up. I’m trying to go to sleep! That’s just careless on the developers part. It’s evidence that they don’t actually care about your health if they want to encourage you to play games unless you pay them. Finally, the app is unreliable. Several times I’ve gone to bed and the alarm never goes off. The app crashed! Twice, I’ve received a phone call after I went to bed, which I declined from my watch, which then resulted in the app crashing. All of these factors don’t make me want to pay you a crazy $9.99 per month. The only reason I use the app at all is it is the only app that works with my company health program for sleep tracking. Otherwise, I’d delete it immediately.

The adds SHOULD HAVE SOUND. When i click the alarm 1. I don't want to be startled by a ridiculously loud ad and 2. Don't want to wake up everyone else in the room with it. That is totally not okay. I understand having ads. But a SLEEPING app should not have adds with sound that plays when your phone is on silent. And if you lock the phone, don't worry. The sound will continue to go for another 2 seconds! Seriously. FIX THIS NOW. This has happened now for over a year. NOT ACCEPTABLE.

Very good sleep app (Apple Watch support needed). Thank you for such a fascinating sleeping app with the great methodology of tracking sleep quality! There is one more amazing improvement can be done: please creat an app for Apple Watch to be able to place the charging phone at night far away from the head because any charging phone creates strong electro-magnetic field. And it’s better to avoid being in the center of the electro-magnetic field while sleeping. Avoidance of the field will bring an ultimate sleeping quality and will place azumio above serious competitors of Sleeping Analysis Systems.

Not helpful. I have been using this app for more then two years now because for some reason this app is supported by virgin pulse but I very rarely find correct sleep time it always shows less time than I actually sleep and difference is not just minutes but it is in hours. I have sent requests to the app for this issue but I never received any reply or tips so I will not recommend this app when your reason to have an app is to monitor your sleep time go with something better like a watch or some better app but not sleep time as sleep time is complete disappointment.

Beware Ads with Loud Sounds- might be finding a new app. I’ve been happily using this app for over a year and just recently there has been the addition of ads with loud sounds. I love using the app, but if this doesn’t change soon, I will be finding a new alarm app. I have woken up my family twice trying to set the alarm because ads with sound now pop up. It doesn’t seem to make any sense to have ads with sound for an app that is supposed to help you get a good nights rest. Especially since you have to set the alarm right as you are settling in for the night.

PLEASE UPDATE. ~ I cannot check my heart rate after I wake up because the camera strobes a couple times and then cuts off. ~ I can't control the volume. I liked that I was able to control how loud the white noise is when the pre-alarm goes off. Now it just blares at full volume no matter what. Sometimes the white noise doesn’t work at all and I use a different app for that now, but this apps volume still makes the volume of the phone blare when the pre-alarm goes off so, same problem. I’m not complaining, I love this app. I’ve had it for years and I love Argus and all you do for health monitoring, but just a friendly reminder from a loyal customer to please make sure all your apps are up to date.

Ok app but loud adverts have got to go. Been using this app for a couple of years. Mostly works well, occasionally not very accurate (During bouts of insomnia shows me in a deep sleep, for example). But that's not the problem. The problem is that now they have these audio adverts that come on when you set the timer, even if you have your phone on silent, and if your partner is sleeping next to you they get a nasty wake up surprise while you are desperately trying to figure out how to silence it. These need to go away ASAP or I will have the app go away from my phone.

Looks shiny. I'm sure this app is a godsend to anyone looking to improve their quality of sleep, to find what works, or to even promote a healthier lifestyle through exercise and sleep. I just can't get on the right track. The last two nights have been an easy 7-7.5 hours of sleep, only to have my back-up alarm (thank god) wake me up, feeling like a train hit me in my sleep. Not only that, but the app makes me think I have a secret nightlife that I'm not aware of, with several "awake" moments I don't recall. Thankfully, the premium is $10. I wished I would have burned the $10 for premium instead of purchasing this. But, if you like shiny apps, and have $10 just burning a hole in your pocket, and think just maybe this app will work out, get it. If you're craving some decent Arby's and have a friend, do that instead.

Used it for over a year now. I really love this app. I have the free version, but I don't really miss the pro features. I still set a backup alarm, but I've always done that no matter what primary alarm I used. It automatically turns the volume on your phone all the way up, and even if your phone is on silent, it will go off at full volume in the morning. This is great, because there have been times with other apps when I'll accidentally leave my phone on vibrate so the alarm won't go off in the morning. It also doesn't use that much battery, so I don't have to plug it in at night. If I charge to at least 70% before I go to bed, the battery life lasts me all night and through the next day. I cannot speak for the accuracy of the program, I just like that it monitors how often I sleep and wakes me up more gently. I really like it, and would recommend it!

Very disappointed. I use this app to track sleep for an employer program. I gain points which convert to money in my pocket. This is the only app the program recognizes because I use an Apple Watch for my activity tracker. This app fails me 50% of the time. I’ve missed out on thousands of points! Some mornings there’s no data like it hasn’t been set the night before. Just blank for the night. It’s so FRUSTRATING! I will continue to use it as I have no other options. I have complained to the support people and they don’t seem to be concerned. 👎🏼

Been Using This App For Years. I’ve been using this app for years and have found it to be the best by far. I love the sleep sounds and the multiple choices for the alarm in the morning (pro tip- change it up every so often so you don’t get used to it). Only complaint is that it can be difficult to set it to a precise time/number of hours (does a few extra minutes really matter though?), but it is free and the subscriptions is not necessary by any means.

My most useful app until adds came. Do you know the last thing you want to see when you're exhausted and trying to stumble in to bed at the end of a long day, and make sure you responsibly wake up on time? An ad right where you're trying to set your alarm clock. Absurd. I've almost rage-deleted this app a dozen times in frustration. The app blinking to dark mode while setting it is also nearly unusable, and now it crashes every time I tap "Insights." Used to be the app that increased my productivity the most. Now I'm taking time out of my brief morning minutes to warn you to look elsewhere. I don't expect fixes from these cash grabbers any time soon, though I'm happy to update my review if they do.

Disrupted iPhone. I tested the free version for about a week. It initially seemed great, but then one day a game ad starting taking over the screen, after starting sleep recording. There was no “x” button to close it and I was afraid to click on the game (seemed like potential malware). After closing and re-opening the app and tinkering with it, I could eventually get rid of the ad and view the app features. My other phone apps would sometimes spontaneously drop, when I was in the middle of using them. I saw white screen once or twice and my phone started running hotter than usually. I quit using this the day my phone blacked out in the middle of my commute, connected to my car - all I could see was a black screen (I was trying to see something outside of the CarPlay app).

Worked great until it didn’t. I love the app when it works. The customer support when it stopped 6 weeks ago has been nonexistent. I’ve tried all the channels available to reach them for support. I have a premium subscription that renewed in mid Feb. I updated my phone soon after and now I’m in an endless loop of trying to access premium features and the app saying you already have a subscription. Great, let me in!!! So I guess I just made a donation for the year. I get things can go awry, but no response for support is just sad. Here’s to hoping this reaches someone at Azumio that solve issues or cares to.

I like the idea of it but.... So I wanted to get an app like this to see or make sure I wasn’t waking up in the middle of my rim cycle so I can actually wake up feeling ready for my day. I tested it out when I took a nap one day and I didn’t see any issues with it. BUT, I do not like how you need to put it your pillow in order for it to work. I do move a lot in my sleep so I would probably knock it off one night BUT the main reason is our phones have so much radiation! I put my phone on airplane mode and leave it in on the other side of my room when I go to bed. Sleeping with your phone near your head, or anything with radiation is SO BAD FOR YOU! This app is asking me to do exactly what I hate lol. I wish you could somehow set your sleep timer and have it ask you how long it usually takes to fall asleep so it could make an estimated guess to know when I fell asleep? But that doesn’t sound likely or accurate lol. The app works and is neat but I will not put a radiation device by my head while I sleep all night lol. No thank you

Wake in a great mood now & Intuitive to use. When I wake using this app that times with my sleep cycles, I am not nearly as mad at the morning or groggy compared to using a time based alarm. This app is easy to use and adjust to your needs. I appreciate that it's free, because it is SO much better than another free sleep cycle alarm app I tried!! I usually leave my phone on the charger when using this app and slide under a corner of my pillow. Previously I was concerned it would detect my spouse's movement, but have never had an issue.

Great App. I think it usually can determine when I am asleep and it is great for logging what issues I had, especially before bed. I'm sure I'll up-grade to the pro version soon. The only thing is that sometimes, it thinks you're asleep when you have gotten up out of the bed. I don't know if there is a way to let the app know there was a sleep interruption.

Setting alarm time is incorrect. When I first started using this app, I would always set my alarm for 5am so that I could continuously snooze until I got up for 5:30. In the last week or two, I’ve been noticing that that now when I set my alarm for 5, it goes off at 4:30 each time instead of going off at 5 so I can get up for 5:30 and that totally messes with my schedule. I tried setting my alarm for 5:30 thinking that my alarm would go off at 5, but it actually goes off at 5:30 leaving me no time to wake up gradually. What is going on???

Useful!. This is a fantastic app that very reliably lets you set an alarm while giving you a real time indicator of how much sleep you’ll be getting. The log, when consistently used, gives you a good indicator of how much sleep you get over a certain period. While it’s a nice idea to sleep with it in your bed because of the accelerometer keeping track of your tossing and turning, I find it to be kind of restricting when I charge it while I sleep, as well as being a temptation to browse the Internet instead of sleeping. If you’re like me, and knowing the ins and outs of your REM cycle aren’t a big deal to you, when on a side table the alarm works just fine. The song gently raises in volume, isn’t jarring, and isn’t a ring tone that will ruin your day if someone’s phone randomly rings with the same chirp. (Is that just a me thing? Because I’ve definitely had that happen in years past.) My only qualm is that it can be a bit annoying to have to circle via touch a time clock to get to the time you’d like, down to the minute. I’d love a manual function that lets me just input a time, but that’s just a nitpick. I have a slight hand tremor, and yes, while it seems a bit whiny, sometimes I’d like to wake up at 8:15 and not 8:12, thank you very much. Three minutes makes a difference! Other than that amazing app.

I have been using this app since April 2014. When I first started using this app, it was amazing. It actually recorded when I would sleep and listen to the deep/light sleep periods. Something happened one day when it updated and it never worked the same. If I remember correctly, it was related to the iOS restrictions to curb apps monitoring you all the time. So I believe they were forced to change the algorithm to checking in periodically rather than constantly. This led to a less desirable tracking. While although that was great at the time, what I love is the alarm. You set your window, mine is 30 minutes. And if I set my alarm at 7, it could wake me up anywhere between 630 and 730. It tries to listen more during that time and if I stir, it’ll play the gradual melody to wake me up. What gets people is the snooze. Shake the thing and it’ll snooze. There’s another parameter you can set to lower the snooze time and the amount of times you can snooze. If you say 10 mins, but say you can snooze 3 times, that’s 30 mins. My alarm would then max wake me up at 8 by my example. So on average if I want to wake up around 7, I would set my alarm at around 6:10. If you want a “hard wake up” like a normal alarm clock. This app is not for you.

Doesn't go off frequently. As many people have stated, this alarm 'used to be' so great! I definitely agree! It WAS so great. But recently, like many others, my alarm has not been going off. Or sometimes, it'll go off a few times and then stop. When I set my alarm, I lock my phone and turn the "do not disturb" option on. I'm not sure if it's because I lock my phone before I go to bed (so that I don't get woken up by notifications) or what, but whenever I receive notifications during the alarm sequence, it automatically shuts the alarm and the vibrations off. I've been REALLY late to school, because if I Receive any notifications the alarm stops going off, and then I end up waking up on my own to realize it's already almost noon!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX IT! I love this app so much!! But this is really causing a big problem for my daily routine!!

App crashes when trying to view history. I’ve been using this app for years, but suddenly it now crashes every time I tap on “Insights” to view my sleep history. I was just looking at other reviews and this same problem was mentioned by other reviewers. Seems it started happening with the latest update a few days ago. The other problem, which has existed for years, is that the app cranks up the volume to maximum whenever the alarm goes off. I have to remember to manually turn it back down each day before using the phone. This problem does not happen if I stop off the tracker before the alarm rings. Please fix these two problems!

No longer works-no developer updates in a year. I have been using this app a while; paid for the yearly subscription to obtain all programs after a successful period of use in the free app. As of the newest ISO update, 13.1.2 this app no longer works... the app crashes every time I try to open. I have tried re-downloading it and everything else I searched to no avail. I find this very disappointing as I truly benefited from the offered incites. So, I am looking for the app to be updated to function on the IOS platform or a prorated refund of my yearly subscription price. Developers, please feel free to contact me directly to provide feedback and a resolution

Great App, Deceptive practices. I have had this app for a number of years. I used it initially for the white noise - and even paid for it. Now, I am getting requests to upgrade. I already paid. I like the tracking feature - shows me the quality if my sleep, even if it’s not really correct (shows me lightly asleep when I know I was awake.). I like the calm wake up alarm. I don’t like that it hits me with a bright light request to upgrade when I am trying to turn it off ... and I already paid... I can’t even find the original features that I purchased (the static brown noise). Guess I may have to find a new app.

Great Alarm Clock and Sleep Analyzer. I only use this app for those two things. It is definitely good for these, but the other apps tend to be more annoying, and some apps tend to block it from functioning. Just remember to use airplane mode before using this app under your pillow. I do this, and this ends up making the ads blocking the alarm clock more difficult to remove. Please try to limit the amount of ads for the clock segment.

Great app but buggy.. I've used this app for 8 nights and I love it but on the fourth night it has asked me both times if I like the app (yes) and rate it, the first time I said no, the app the proceeded to prevent me from changing the alarm. Then tonight it asked me it again (yes, and yes I would rate it). I tried changing the clock after my first review and it still wouldn't let me. The only solution was to uninstall it and reinstall it which loses all the saved data. Please fix this bug and it would be 5 stars (maybe 4.5 because the ads playing insanely loud at 1am is not fun.)

Amazing App. Been using it for years, and it’s always worked amazing, never crashes... data seems really accurate, although my only complaint about an otherwise awesome app is that the sleep analysis starts counting your hours of sleep from when you set the alarm, so in the morning, (especially if you were tossing and turning and didn’t fall asleep right away) the amount of hours it says you slept won’t be so accurate. However, it does show how much of that time you were in deep and light sleep, so I just add those two to calculate my actual hours of sleep. All in all, it’s a great app, with a lot more than just sleep analysis. Love that it can check your heart rate, that you can listen to your music, and has many more features as well!

Continuing to downgrade due to ad nonsense. 2017: Compelled to update bc this has gotten worse due to the bait and switch ad tactics. Good luck getting to the main screen to set this. If you are willing to launch and app, click through 2-3 screens AND then figure out how to extract yourself from the never ending ad campaign with no escape good luck. Good app function if you can get to it. Incredibly poor user interaction snd monetization. Go find something, anything else. The shenanigans are not worth it. Your standard alarm on your phone is enough to wake you up. Any other sleep app that 'measures' sleep stages has the be less of a hassle than this. Too bad they can't figure it out. 2016: The functions of this app are good but the last update has made it ridiculous to set. I was considering purchasing the premium version for the storage but not after the last update. Now they want you to log in or buy the premium version. If you can locate the button to skip this process among the clutter them you get served up a completely irrelevant ad. You then have to wait for the ad to finish (which it sometimes never does) to click out of it. If you can't click out and attempt to close the app and reopen it it usually crashes at least once before you can attempt the whole process again. I've been using the app for a year but am looking for a new one because of the nonsense. There are other sleep app options with less in your face unrelated advertising and no ridiculous logins.

Love it, but...,. I was an early adopter. I loved sleep time. Then I started getting ads. Then I started getting 'upgrade and pay for it or we'll make your life miserable "every time I open. I started getting rate us. I started getting a lot of other crap besides the basic program. And they changed the way the sleep program looked. I've gotten used to that but I don't like it as well as I like the original. I really love this program. I think it's a great program. But I don't like being blackmailed into buying something I don't want. If you said to me give us five bucks for the rest of your life and we'll give you the basic program you had in the beginning I would buy it in a minute and then you would leave me alone but as it is I get frustrated every time I use this program especially when you keep asking me to rate it so now I have--leave me alone!!!

Need option to disable the morning ringtone - I'm Deaf, but others in my house can hear it. Love the app, I've had it for many years. However, I'm Deaf and other people in my home are hearing and are frustrated with hearing my alarm in the mornings, because I don't have the option to disable the morning ringtones that automatically play as soon as my alarm goes off. This app needs to be accessible and consider those who do not rely on their hearing to wake up, but appreciate the other features it has to offer.

Rethink the ads you allow now!. I like so many parts about this app. The wake up features are really good. I use the free version because I don’t use this beyond an alarm. The ads you choose to use should not blare sound just by turning it on the alarm. I’m really tired of being startled by ads because my phone volume went from muted to full sound. This app shouldn’t be allowed to turn my phone volume to full sound until the alarm is going to go off. I have been starting to look for other alarms because I do not like either of these issues that have gotten to be major problems.

Works good but.... i have used this app every day for all of high school. so about 4 years now. always loved it, always trustworthy.. however, this year i have noticed it hasn’t been going off a lot. I was SUPER late to school one day because it didn’t go off. last night i set my alarm and it didn’t go off.. not sure why this is happening, but please fix. i don’t want to have to stop using this app.

Overall I like the app, only negative- LOUD ads. Picture this, you fall asleep on the couch while watching the nightly news. You wake up at midnight, the whole house is silent, and you head into your bedroom as quietly as possible so you don’t wake your significant other. You successfully change and lay down without bothering anyone and open this app to set your alarm, you pick the time and start your sleep session, all is well! Then a video advertisement for some bubble pop game is blaring with music and background noises and there isn’t even an x on the screen to close out of it, your just pressing both corners praying it will close and shut the eff up. Now not only are you terrified because it scared the 💩 out of you, now your significant other wants to strangle you because you woke them up with a terrifyingly loud noise. I 100% understand that apps need to advertise to keep their products affordable, and I’m ok with that. However, if you think of how and when this app is being used can you set it up so that all videos are defaulted to mute? Or the ads are soothing and want to help you fall asleep instead of dramatically spike your heart rate? Your app is great and I’ve used it for years but I’m sick of the heart attack inducing promotions when I’m trying to fall asleep!

It’s fairly good. This app is a slightly better way to wake up than abrupt, exactly-timed alarms on your phone or clock. It’s marginally obnoxious when it comes to the sheer amount of ads, but they don’t interfere with the functionality of the app so its easy to ignore. This is helpful if you sleep in a room with others and your alarm continually wakes them up too. It’s starts very quiet and gradually gets louder, so it should wake up the other person less often. It helped when i was in a dormitory back in college. But tbh, if you have really bad battery life already, the benefit from the app prolly isn’t worth it. Otherwise i totally recommend this app.

From 5 to 2. I have loved this ap and used it as my primary alarm for more than a year. Since the upgrade three times in one week the alarm portion was turned off accidentally causing me to not wake up on time. I will now have to go back to using a different program which is sad. I love the new look, and the questions to help me track and the overall awareness of my sleep wellness has increased significantly. When you get to see how long you slept and. What the efficiency of your sleep is it helps me prioritize getting the sleep I need to be healthy I'll miss this ap. but can't worry about if it is running or not.

Not perfect. I really want to love this app, but it’s got some serious issues. First off, I’m also rather annoyed that a sleep app has a blue background, as blue triggers your brain to wake up (because sky, etc), not something you want as you’re setting your alarm and going to bed. If you’re going to make a sleep app, at least learn the basics. And then there’s my eardrums. If you have the habit of listening to podcasts or music before bed and you forget and let your alarm before stopping it, suddenly the audio go to max and blasts out your ear drums. I get that the app needs to be at max volume, but can you not work in a warning or awareness of audio playing? All around I don’t use this app nearly as much as I would if it weren’t for the above issues.

Love the new look. I hadn't used the app in a while but I love the new look. The last few days have been fantastic and waking up feeling refreshed is a big reason for that. I would like it if the close or [x] buttons for the ads were a little bigger as I accidentally click the ads themselves a lot. It seems a little dishonest to phish for clicks like that but don't get me wrong I don't mind the ads, just the size of the closing button. I feel like I'm being tricked into clicking them.

Good luck.. Maybe this is a great app but you’ll never know bc it’s impossible to figure out how to use it. There is lots of flashy “concept” content if you dig around but nothing that actually tells you how to use the bleeping thing. I downloaded it and it immediately decided I was trying to sleep... at 10 am. Now it’s 11:41 and it’s telling me my alarm is set for 6am. I don’t want to get up at 6 am. I can understand waking me up +/- 30 minutes from a time I set. Or after it’s done some machine learning of my sleep patterns. But it has literally only “known” for a few waking hours so why is it trying to force me awake with only six hours of sleep and one and a half hours before I normally get up!?!?

FREE VERSION FAILS TO WORK. In an attempt to get to know this product before purchase I tried the free version. After three days of too much time trying to operate the software I’m done with this app. All or almost all buttons you press bring up ads / interruptions. Then when I attempt to record the sleep wake up time the software doesn’t record the time and thus generate the report. What a waste of hours of set up and looking in to the incorporation of this tracking tool. You don’t want to be ending your day or starting your day with this kind of stress. This is not the kind of daily companion programmers you want to be associated with.

From amazing to awful!. I used to frequently recommend Sleep Time because it worked. Waking up refreshed was such a pleasant change to traditional alarms. But lately the free version has been blasting full volume, techno-based ads as I’m setting my nightly alarm. So. Loud. Seriously, if you’re half-asleep and trying to set an early alarm, these ads might give you a heart attack because they’re unpredictable and, frankly, panic inducing considering you’re trying to wind down and go to sleep in 10 minutes. Maybe it’s a “shame on me” for not paying for the full app, but after this BS I’m out and will spend money on a different app out of spite.

Was the best. Up until this last update I would recommend this app to every one I knew. I absolutely loved it. However, after this last update all of a sudden it doesn't work like before. I can set the alarm and listen to my sounds before bed (it acts completely normal) but when I wake up in the morning it's not on anymore. Just my lock screen which I shouldn't see. Thank goodness I woke up on my own 2 of the days and the 3rd was a day off. Only late to work by 15 minutes because of it. If they can fix whatever bug is causing the app to crash in the middle of the night I will definitely up my review.

Tracking & Awareness = Great Tools for Changes. Forget the other apps and go straight to ARGUS! I've tried them all & this app has changed my life and given me the tools to create a personal sleep hygiene. I've been dealing with chronic illnesses for several years now, prescription meds make it difficult to rest and antibiotics have terrible side effects. I've tried several sleep tracking apps & I love ARGUS because it integrates with other apps I use. I like the layout & the feedback. I set it immediately when I get in bed and like to know WHEN I get in bed, and I love the tags I can customize before each night's rest. Because of this app I've realized I have a "sweet spot" for sleep and it's 6 1/2 hours. I also have figured out that this only applies to my quality sleep when I go to bed before 11pm. If I sleep longer I'm not necessarily more rested - it's usually a flag for an infection. I have a chronic illness so this is incredibly useful data to me so I use it pretty religiously. I love that it integrates with my other ARGUS programs, and prompting me to take my heart rate upon rising is a wonderful bonus tracker.

Use it every night. It's a great app, but I suppose the best review I can give is to say that this app slowly but surely has replaced my bedside radio alarm. Now I don't even use the other. This is as much a part of my nightly routine as brushing my teeth. I sometimes get a little annoyed at the multiple ad screens that come up, but then again it is a free app. 😊 I tried to replace it once with another app. Two nights later I re-loaded this one and deleted the other.

Good but room for improvement. This app is good, but the phone is suppose to rest on the bed while you’re sleeping, therefore it ends up on the floor quite easily. There are times I am awake & it doesn’t record that I am indeed awake. For instance: I awake and actually use my phone for a few minutes to check msgs & such, go back to the sleep app place it face down again. When the alarm goes off, the data shows that I was sleeping during the time I was actually using my phone. Not too accurate. The free app only allows you to store 5 days of data and then the older stuff falls off. Not enough to understand why I’d want to pay $9.99 a month. What possible features would be worth a price tag that high? Regardless, it does do a fairly good job if it stays on your bed without sliding off or getting hit off.

Long time user. I’ve been using this app for about 4 years now. I like being able to see the quality of my sleep and to set my alarm this way. Obviously I like the app, having used it for so long. However, I have a couple of issues that have been recurring and are annoying enough to cause me to write a review. First, when trying to set the alarm at night sometimes (about once per week) the app will freeze or my screen will go black and I have to adjust the angle of my phone to get it so that I can tap start. It sometimes takes 5 or 6 “adjustments” before it works. The second issue happens less frequently but is equally disruptive when trying to go to sleep. An ad will play with full volume even though my phone is turned to silent. It’s startling and not a feeling I would think an app developer for sleep would want to leave their users with as they settle down to sleep. It would be great if these two issues (assuming others also encounter them) could be fixed.

Free version is awful. Way too much advertising, not very user friendly to set up, no option to switch off alarm.

Great app. Very easy to use, free version works just fine but will definitely consider going premium to unlock more features. Love the alarm sounds.

Skeptical of its accuracy, yet probably works as a placebo. I primarily use this for the idea of its a ability to wake me up during light sleep cycle. Like some other users' comment I noticed sometimes it did not record me being awake, thus might not be accurate. However whenever I use this I wake up without being grumpy. Either it might be still effective to some point or simply because of placebo effect, I'm pretty contempt with its function as alarm clock. Hope to see it upgrade with more sleep pattern analyses supported by research.

Spot on. The ads are annoying

Uses motion sensor. Unlike other apps, this uses a motion sensor to determine if you are awake, non-R.E.M. Or R.E.M. and I prefer it than others (use voice detection or a special device etc). In the morning it checks your heart rate with iSight camera which I find it very interesting. Plus you don't need to register to use this app. Overall it's a pretty good app and does what it claims to do.

Not accurate. Interesting app. Gives you an idea of your sleep pattern, but if you analyse the way it works, it's not accurate. Most results are guesses. You'll feel amazed because it's the unknown, but not when you realise it's based on movement mostly. If you wake up and lay still then the app will record a deep sleep. Don't pay for something that doesn't work. Additionally; Upon turning off the alarm the app plays a loud obnoxious video randomly. Third time it happened I deleted the app. Sorry no more of this!

Highs and lows of sleep time.. I think this is a great app. I have tested it for over a week now and will definitely continue using it. However I am a very deep sleeper and rarely wake in the night. Sleep time tells me that I wake almost every night for a small portion of time an I wonder about its accuracy. It is also disappointing that to save more than a weeks worth of data you have to pay for the premium package.

Not that great. Maybe it is not for couples! First night my husband got up it recorded me as being awake. Last night I was up with my toddler for 15 min then I was awake for 2hours after this, the app recorded a light sleep, and deep sleep with no wake time. App also recorded I was in a deep sleep for thirty mins before the alarm, but I'm quite sure I was awake (since my kids were yelling in the next room) and I was staring at the ceiling! Certainly not in a deep sleep. Love the idea of this app, but really didn't work! Set up as specified in instruction.

Delivers as promised.. I downloaded this to check my young daughters' sleep apnea. It seemed to work so well I started using it myself and it's used every night. A bit slow to start up, when I am setting my alarm I am usually desperate to get to sleep and the launch screen seems to take forever. Perhaps that is just because of my blend of insomnia and narcolepsy. Of course, a borderline sleep disorder is why I found this app so interesting in the first place. Delivers as promised.

Great app!. This is a fantastic app that I use every night.

Does what it says. Good app

Great app. Really great app to have! Only issue is that if you are listening to music via headphones then start sleep cycle the volume is automatically turned all the way up and that's not too enjoyable on your ears...

Love it. This app is amazing! I tried it out, thinking, ok it will just be some random thing and won't actually be able to measure my sleep. But after one night of trial I am amazed!!! I woke up quickly, feeling refreshed (rare for me) and was able to easily see how I slept! It was so interesting and easy to use, I am definitely using this again!! THANK YOU

Love it. The only thing I’d ever change about this app is the set “tags”. It’s great to be able to add my own but I’d like to delete the ones that don’t apply to me such as smoking & alcohol.

Great. Sleeping better from day 1

Alarm no longer going off - disaster!. I have used this app before and found it incredibly useful! I used it again after changing phones and reinstalling the app, and the alarm is simply, consistently not working- ie it doesn’t go off in the morning. No idea how to fix it, and have completely lost trust in the app after the first time this happened

Very insightful. Been using it on and off for a number of years now and useful to learn my own sleep patterns. The visuals are easy to read and the graphs are quite detailed, accurate and insightful. The heart rate sensor took some time to get used to, to get proper readings, but got there in the end.

woke me during REM!. Alarm went off 25 minutes before setting, while I was dreaming. Worst wakeup ever!

Awesome alarm app!. Works a treat, and I love looking at the graphs to see how I slept! I haven't had any of the problems that the other reviews have mentioned :) yes, since the update adds do appear but I don't get the sound at all. It's merely an inconvenience, but hey! The app is free so I'm not complaining. I've tried a few and this one is by far the best!!

Works Wonders!. Perfect for beginners, calm tones and effective methods help you wake up gracefully and efficiently

I rate it Glorious!. I've been waking up in one three different ways. 1. Lulled gently out of sleep, it feels natural, and as if the alarm is coincidently going off. 2. With the feeling like I've woken up moments before the alarm goes off. 3. Pulled out of a deeper sleep, but only because it was go time, and I hadn't started stirring yet. All in all, this is an amazing alarm, it's doubtful I'll ever go back to a conventional alarm clock.

Can’t tell when you’re awake during the night. The app doesn’t recognise when you are awake during the night and records it as light sleep. I have gotten out of bed and been awake for an hour, tossing and turning and moving my phone so that it registers that I’m awake and I’ve woken up only to see that the app has recorded it as light sleep. So I guess it’s inaccurate in tracking sleep which was the reason why I got it.

Got me to a better sleeping habit.. This app helped me get back up a normal sleeping time it makes me think more about when and how much I sleep. It is really easy to use and has some really good features. The alarm is particularly helpful and it really does wake you at a good time.

Didn't work at all. Concept sounds great but it is not very user friendly. There is nothing to tell you that it has started analyzing your sleep patterns - probably because you think it's working and it's not - like I said, it's not very user friendly. Went to analyse my sleep this morning and it says to come back after sleep but nothing happens when you touch the screen. Disappointing. For me, if apps aren't easy to use straight away, they are deleted. I didn't upgrade as I didn't like the app enough to warrant money being spent.

Very Good. I like the graphs. I would considering buying the full app to get access to different sounds to fall asleep to. I wish I could upload my own soundscapes.

This app was my favourite but it’s dead. I used this app every night to sleep but now it crashes every time I try to start it. I paid for this version but now if I want to use it all I can get to work is the free version which doesn’t have the sleep sounds that I use. Completely ripped off!

Works for me. I'm wanting to change some bad habits around my bedtime. Reduce screen exposure, have an earlier bedtime, and eliminate my morning routine of hitting "snooze". I'm using this app mostly just to chart my progress. I think it is reading my movement quite well overnight (I get woken by my child regularly during the night- and it appears to capture this). It's good to see I'm slowly getting to bed earlier over the week and hitting snooze less and less. I'll upgrade to keep tracking my progress.

Crappy - annoying ads. There are constant annoying ads. I deleted it.

Love it. Really good app

I FEEL GOOD AFTER SLEEPING!. This app is one if the best yet, the soundscape is actually helping me sleep, last night I got the best sleep I have had in ages because of this app. It's fantastic, it's data was nearly completely right, though it said I was awake at times I wasn't. But that isn't such a big deal if it does it's job! I didn't wake up feeling horrible this morning. I love this app, I'm going to use this from now in instead of my normal alarm!

Great app!. I'm loving this app! It is so easy to use and I just love looking at my sleep patterns in the morning when I wake up. Also the efficiency rating is very accurate (I can definitely feel when I haven't had enough sleep!) the slow wake up at the optimum time has really helped me get up easier in the mornings. Would definitely recommend this app!

It's ok. It measures things differently to other sLeep aps, All give different data. What I'm finding with this one, is that if I sleep through the alarm (.often) all of the data for the night disappears.

Best app. Out of all the apps that i have on my phone, this app is one of the best

Quality app. As a concept this app is great - help wake you up at the right time. I've used this app for a couple weeks and I've had improved sleep as a consequence. On top of that its interesting just to see the stats. Aside from that its a really well built app - a lot of effort has gone into its development. The soundscapes are great too, I can't sleep now without a sound playing. Apple should make their clocks like this, it's really fun to set!

Amazing. Just amazing.. This is amazing. I used to get those mornings where you had to wake up for work at 6am, and I felt so groggy I just wanted to cry. This app is amazing because you can track your sleep cycle, and it will wake you up at the perfect moment. Apparently you sleep in 90minute cycles -between light and REM sleep - so you just need to set the alarm roughly within the end of a cycle, and it'll just figure out the rest.

Ingenious. Has definitely encouraged a better sleep behaviour. Heart rate monitor is very cool

Happy enough. Similar to Sleep Cycle except this app doesn't crash when the alarm goes off!

Annoying ads sound after updated. I've been using this app every night for years until recent update. It still works beautifully, HOWEVER, those super annoying ads pop up with very loud sound while turn the alarm on, even when my phone is on mute. Please note we as user turn it on before we go to bed. It's quiet, peaceful and relaxing time. How disturbing those unpleasant noisy ads sounds are. Who cares the karaoke app before bed!! Not to mention the ad is forced on for 5 sec!!!! I understand the need for having ads, but the sounds? Whoever's idea. Genius! Hope you never get to wake up anyone in your room!

A good idea of this app. I will be continuously using it and see how it improves my sleep quality.. A good idea of this app. I will be continuously using it and see how it improves my sleep quality.

Don’t Bother With the Free Version. This is your typical ‘lite version’ app that promises great features but then only allows you to access those features by paying to upgrade to the premium package. It’s basically an alarm clock unless you buy the premium version.

Forced sign in, broken app.. Like so many greedy developers they’re forcing you to sign in and hand over more info, although the sign up screen is broken, you can’t enter the first password field. This app must be owned by the same lazy company that make another app with the same bug! Avoid like the plague, there’s plenty of free apps out there that don’t require you to own a Facebook account.

Sleeptime app. Was recommended by a friend, who started the recommendation saying I don't usually recommend apps but...... Excellent app!! Works brilliantly, even without the updated version. I was well impressed, if you want to wake in the best time of your sleep cycle to have the best day you can get this app. It's awesome

Love this App!. Fascinating to see the differences per night. I think I'm waking before the alarm so that bit isn't working for me yet. Should pay for the full feature app and rate again. As much as the water sound when nodding off is slightly irritating I think it actually works. Paid app has more options so will try it.

No support and annoying ads. I have emailed support 3 times over the last few months and only 1 reply which was generic and didn't answer my concerns. The ads come up every time you turn it on. Once the alarm goes off you can only snooze and even then you don't get to change how long is the snooze. If you have do not disturb turned on it does not work if sleep time is turned on. That's only to name the biggest issues with the app. It does integrate well with health app and that's the only positive.

Bad ads. The other morning they played some ad that blasted dub step music without warning and you had to wait 5 seconds to skip it. Guys I have housemates and They were all woken up. I deleted the app after that. Pick your ad revenue more wisely, this is a sleep app. Apart from that it's ok at tracking your movements/ wake periods but so are others and they don't blast music at you at 5:30am

Great app. Fantastic app. I like seeing my sleeping pattern. Seems accurate as days recorded with more 'light sleep' and 'awake' seems to coincide with the days I don't feel rested. Down side is of course app movement effected by my partner also in the bed, but that's to be expected. For a free app on my phone it's pretty darn good. Love the waves to go to sleep and my partner even likes the alarm sound.

In good enough. I like tracking how I slept - I find data interesting! My data is remarkably consistent so I've learnt a bit about how I sleep which is good because I'm not the most settled sleeper. The wake up is gentle, can be set to work in a short window so you don't have to be woken half an hour early. It won't make you sleep better overnight but I did find it a useful tool to help me sleep better generally.

Loud Ads. For some reason the latest round of ‘ads’ on this app involve blasting music full volume immediately after turning on. After being startled out of my sleepy haze one too many times I am deleting this app that I have previously used for years. Very disappointed with the lack of thought.

Keeps crashing. Keeps crashing when i am trying to view my recorded sleep

Great App!. Love the sound of the crashing waves as I fall asleep each night. The monitoring of heart rate, sleep pattern, etc is fantastic too! Morning alarm sounds are a lot softer than the iPhone default sounds. Overall very impressed :)

Great sleep tool. Love the tracking. Love the gentle waking mode. Addicted after three nights...

Great!. Love it so far. Good insight

Glitches. Alarm doesn't go off and app keeps crashing in morning before data can be recorded rendering it unfortunately pretty useless.

The perfect app for grogginess. I have not once woke up with a hint of grogginess since I have begun using this app.. I've already recommended to my friends but I thought I'd let you guys know. This is legit the first review I've done. Very great app, does exactly as it advertises!

Works well. Nice app

Super. Les réveils sont maintenant plus faciles.

Completely inaccurate. Tracking told me I had been in "deep sleep" all night, when in fact I got up in the middle of the night. If the app can't tell the difference between awake and asleep, it's useless. Also, the ads that do not have an option to close it are incredibly annoying. Would never recommend this to anyone

Love. Great app

Works well, but has problems with media volume. I tried this and its functionality seems okay. However every time after I woke up the media volume was reset to the highest level. I usually make it at 3 and also set a low volume in the app. But the volume got reset to maximum every day. That's basically annoying. Furthermore the latest version seems to be one year ago and I really doubt whether it is still maintained by its developer. Um.

Getting tired of..... Trying to clear the in app purchases that pop up and won’t let you press the X! Screen goes black even before you touch the screen! Used this app for years, now time to find a new one.

Love!!. What a great app. Love how you can see your sleep patterns. And has a great way more gradual way of waking you up. Haven't used an alarm clock ever since I downloaded this app. Couldn't live without it.

Good feedback mechanism. Once I figured out how this app works, I got to really liking it for the feedback it gives me. I’m never sure if I had a good night’s sleep when I wake up in the morning, but Sleeptime confirms if that’s so or if I was fitful during the night. It’s kind of like a blood pressure machine but for sleep rather than blood pressure. The gentle alarm is nice too.

What’s going on?. Used the free version for years and it stopped working. Upgraded to the paid version thinking that would solve the problem. Crashes immediately on every device I own, even after a reinstall. Not sure what the fix is but I’m really disappointed, not to mention mad about being out of pocket for a now worthless app.

Good app. It is handy and I enjoy falling asleep to waves and waking up to gentle music.

Not the app it used to be.. You just had to screw with the app and force me to pay for things I was enjoying for free when all I wanted was a simple app to wake me up. This WAS the best when I wasn’t forced to buy into simple wake up sounds. I am also forced to give a star when this app no longer deserves one.

What is this. So I got the app. Then it said to verify your email or phone, so I did my email. I told my mom to get the app so she could try it out to. We set the same sleep schedule and at about 2am mine blasted with app noises and woke up the whole house! Then my moms went off later with a add at about 3:30am! It woke everyone up again! I have exams coming up so I need good rest so like you didn’t let me think straight the next day!! 🤬🤬🤬!!! Unless you want to wake up your whole household, do not I repeat do not get this app!!!!

So much change. I used this app for months a few years ago and really enjoyed it. Recently re-installed it and now you can’t do anything without paying for it. Really disappointing.

Nice app. Used yesterday looks to be impressive. Lot of active information for free

Great app. Love it

Sleep well, my friend!. Great app, and helping me track my sleep patterns.

Adds are brutal. The stalling adds that are hard to remove are brutal. Who ever came up with that concept is completely out of touch. Just makes the user frustrated….One month to make those go away please so I don’t have to remove this app. Thank you

Can’t reset time from 12. I set the wake up time to 12 and now it won’t move again. No matter what I do, how long I hold it. I even tried zooming in on the display and it just won’t move. I literally had to uninstall and reinstall it to get the wake up time to change. This only happens when I set it between 11 and 1.

Very good. It works good and it's cool to see my graph

Sleep in Peace. I'm a numbers person and I love the data I get from this app. Seeing how much I sleep makes me feel even more rested!

Still unreliable. Gave this app a second try on a brand new phone, only works half the times it is set. If I hadn't set a backup alarm, I would have missed a flight! Cannot recommend.

Failed to use app because of ads. Unfortunately, the app tries to push us to buy in-app purchases. I had a full screen ad with no "Dismiss" or "Close" button or link. Deleted the app after 30 seconds. Sorry, I know building apps is hard work.

Finally waking up early !. This app has helped me start a routine of waking up at 6am everyday ! I feel refreshed in the mornings and motivated to start my days, this app has been a huge piece to getting me to where I want to be and I have developed a very healthy relationship with sleep :)))

Doesn’t work. It may seem cool to have an alarm app that wakes you but I paid premium for this and it doesn’t work. All it does is play music while I sleep which is the last thing I want to hear noise when I’m trying to sleep. I want an alarm you know like loud noise when I wake up not absolute silence. I was very upset when I woke up at 10 to check what happened to the alarm I set for 8? Tried it along with my apple clock and at least that works and makes a noise this doesn’t do anything. Maybe if u pay loads of money every year it will actually make a noise at the time you ask it to too. I wish I could give it a lower review than 1 star.

Crashes. This app crashes almost every night. When it does work it is great.

Great app. Really tracks sleep well

Fabulous. One of the best apps in terms of accuracy.. i use it almost every night

Oh. Amazing program

No. It must be free

Why does it need my e-mail address?. I was hoping for a stand alone app but it asks me to log in via Facebook or create an account where it needs my e-mail address. Ummmmm no. Deleted it within 30 seconds of downloading it.

Sleep time. This app is a little difficult to understand, but I’m sure with time I’ll figure out how everything works.

Great App!. Addicting to watch your sleep patterns every day!

Great. I currently have Argus premium and everything works great. Something that I would suggest to change is instead of using the media volume for the alarm, use the actual alarm. I don't like to start playing music and getting a heart attack because the volume is maxed out.

This is the best app ever totally recommend it. I would resist out of a scale of One to Ten and I would definitely pick TEN

Horrible. I downloaded this app after all the good reviews, but this app didn't even do what it was supposed to do. My alarm didn't even go off and it let me sleep past it after it automatically snoozed and I was late for work. I followed the instructions, did what I was supposed too, but it didn't work. Don't recommend downloading.

Update broke app. Most recent update has broken the app. It no longer plays any sound for the wake up. I slept right through on Sunday morning and only realized it had gone off by seeing 5 notifications. And I suppose since I didn’t “Hold To Stop” it eventually closes itself without saving any sleep data. It also doesn’t check heart rate after waking up despite my having that turned on. I’ve fiddled with many settings, changing the sound, turning in vibrations, turning off and on the heart rate option and nothing is helping. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been using this app with very few interruptions for years.

Sleep app. It does a great job tracking your sleep. I like how it reports how I sleep each night.

Love it. I very much like this app. The only down side is it tracking only 5 days... Otherwise I'm using it almost every night!

WTH IS WRONG WITH YOU?. Users start the app when going to bed. You must be absolutely crazy if you think it’s appropriate to blast advertisement music when the app starts! I wish I could give you a zero and blast this racket in your ears as you try to sleep. Stupid!

Sleep tight with no money in your pockets should be their new logo.. Sucks now, too many ads and annoying pop ups. Barely even tracks sleep now without paying. HIGHLY UNRECOMMEND! Unless they go back to the old version I will never install this or recommend this again. Sleep tight with no money in your pockets should be their new logo.

Tries too hard to push sales. The last thing I want to see before I go to bed is an ad stopping me from starting my sleep alarm. The hilarious thing is that their “paid” version is an ongoing monthly fee. LOL. Sorry, there are $3 apps that do everything this app does, why would I pay $80 a year?

👍🏻. Super app!!

Video ads 😡. These video ads are awful. The app turns up my volume and blasts these video ads when I'm trying to sleep. Had this app for a while but uninstalling now 😡😡

Favourite app of the bunch. I've tried all the different sleep tracker apps and this one is my favourite. It works seamlessly and you can add individual tags to customize your sleep each night. Only thing I wish it offered was more sound selection to listen to for free users.

Great. I wake up with more energy now

5 stars. Great app, works as described

Sick of being late to work. I've used this app for years, and it used to be great. I loved waking up gradually, I loved that I didn't accidentally turn it off when snoozing it, and I loved that it capped how many times I could snooze it. In the past several months, however, I've experienced several glitches in the app where I'll set my alarm and it never goes off. Unfortunately, if I can't count on an alarm app to wake me up every time, it's not good enough. I'm hoping to find something just like this app that doesn't experience glitches, because when it does work, it's great.

Used To Be Great. I had this app for a long time & told everyone about; then they "updated" it & now it's buggy & the best features that used to be free I can't use anymore unless I update to the PAID version. That won't happen. I don't need another fitness app. I have a watch for that so I will be deleting this app promptly. Tried contacting tech support & it kept telling me I had no internet connection which I do since I'm writing this review. Very disappointing. 😡

Interface not intuitive. The red x on the ads does not remove the ads, it launches the ads! Please remove the red x if the ad is not allowed to be removed. That is just mean! The screens are also very unintuitive, I would never buy premium with such a bad design.

Really helps!. This app really helps me to wake up as gently as possible in order to achieve maximum rest -and this is someone who typically likes to hit the snooze button 3-4 times before actually getting up. When sleep time wakes me up I feel like I can get up immediately without succumbing to another snooze button press.

Loud Ads are Unacceptable. I like it in the mornings, but the loud video ads that play after you set the alarm are intolerable, and are why I'm moving on to another app. Tonight, once again, I was sleepy and winding down for bed. After I set the alarm, a very loud ad came on and scared the crap out of me. My heart rate is still coming back down. Loud noises and startling people at bedtime is not nice. You shouldn't have to mute your phone for an alarm app's ads either. It's too bad, because the actual alarm is great and does help me wake more gently and more alert.

Love this app. My boss actually turned me on to this app and I really love it. I do use a backup alarm because occasionally my phone has fallen off the bed and turned the sleep time off. But it is fun to watch and help with sleep healthiness. As for premium I like the free just as well but I am not using the exercise portion. I do recommend it.

Max Volume Ads Not Helping Sleep. I used to really like this app - I thought it was a neat idea that it had flexible wake up times based on sleep cycles and tracking. Lately though, even if my phone is silenced I will see the volume automatically change to max, and I may (depending on the ad, if it has sound) panic as I try to silence the stupid thing....right before I try to go to sleep. Yeah, not great for sleep. I'm looking for a new app, and won't recommend this to anyone I know. The quality has decreased tremendously.

Alarm sound removed from free version.. I have been using the same song to efficiently wake up and it was removed and forced under a premium subscription. I will NEVER under any circumstance buy “subscription only” apps on my phone. I would have payed $50 just to have the alarm that has helped me wake up but I guess I am going to have to find another app. One time payments are fair, subscriptions are predatory if you aren’t going to use the service to its full potential.

Fantastic app. Great way to wake up! The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 was that I can't figure out how to use it without turning my iphone sounds off completely. I usually use "do not disturb" mode when I sleep so I'll still get emergency calls, but because this app is more active, my phone wasn't going into sleep mode, so I heard all my notifications. If there is a way around this, let me know and I'll update to 5!

Pretty good, just a few bugs. I really like this app! It always wakes me up at the right time with an alarm that is neither frightening nor annoying. The only real problem is that occasionally it won't let me change the time when I want to wake up.

Great Sleep Tracking App. This app is amazing. It keeps track of how long I sleep and even takes my heartbeat when I wake up which is amazing. The one thing it could be is a free app so I can use all the features. It would also be nice if it had the Apple Watch Feature. I also like how I connects with Argus. I love this app alot

Great for waking up to alarm for me. I found myself deep sleeping through my alarm way too often. While this app's map of my sleep pattern probably isnt 100% accurate it wakes me up within a 30 minute window of my alarm when my sleep is the lightest so i not only wake up to my alarm but feel better. I wouldn't buy the premium version yet but really love it as an alarm

Don’t love anymore. I really don’t care to track how I sleep. I already know I sleep like a rock. I loved this alarm because it was the only one I ever found that could actually wake me up. Since the iOS update there are video game ads I need to clear before I can set my alarm and I find it annoying. I’d be happy to pay for the alarm to get rid of ads but to pay for a subscription to track sleep when I don’t need to track sleep is a waste.

Used to be great until ad for Final Fantasy. The Final Fantasy ad used to be just annoying with sometimes having a location changing small x to close the ad. Now the ad is persistent and seemingly will not let the Sleep Time app function, I assume without downloading and installing the Final Fantasy game. Not only do I not now or ever want that game, I have no idea whether it is virus free since it appears (haven’t loaded it - just quit the Sleep Time app) to bypass the Apple App Store and be a direct download. Does this have other imbedded garbage, spyware, or just clutter. Sleep Time is now unusable.

App crashes when trying to view insights. I really enjoy this app and use it daily. Within the last week though, the app crashes when I click on the Insights option. I am able to access all other functions. Will you please look into this? Thank you.

The app delivers - love it. Been using for the last month. It few days to get used to the time the Alarm starts as it can start 15min or even earlier then the time requested. But you know what it doesn't matter as you awake refreshed ready for action.

Helpful. I like that you can choose from different sounds to help you drift off to sleep, also can choose one of your songs from your playlist if you choose. I use the sounds already available. The other thing I like about it is that it doesn’t startle you awake. The sleep accuracy is a tad off because there were times I’d lay still laying awake and it said I was in a deep sleep?!

Great. I love this app. It gives you detailed instructions and is very easy to understand. Since I've been using this I've been less groggy when i wake up, hit snooze less, and became more motivated to get out of bed. I definitely recommend this.

Baffled, no instructions, too much emphasis on buying Pro.. I need to use an app, evaluate its worth, then, I'm happy to pay. I believe developers should be paid for their efforts. Hard to trust an app that's difficult to use the free version. I get the feeling that the marketing strategy may be that if I buy, then, I'll get instructions and be able to understand and use it. Tip: I need to use an app, evaluate its worth, then purchase, not the other way around. I'm going to find a developer whose aim is customer satisfaction first.

Black screen. Only real complaint is when I set the alarm the screen goes black over and over while I try to close all the ads that pop up (also one of the ads was porn which is weird because this is apple).

At peace!. Started using this app for a class I was taking and have continued since. It has helped me understand my sleep better through the use of the graphs and its recorded my movements and heart rate and let me know how much sleep I was getting. It’s accurate and I would recommend anyone to use it for a better nights sleep and getting a peace of mind.

Love it!. I use it simply for the alarm. I love how it gently wakes you up. I also love the option of sounds-- I use them when I can't sleep or if I have a bad dream or wakeup and can't fall back asleep. I've also found the tags to be beneficial due to the fact that I can see how my habits affect my sleep! Love it!!

So many ads. Barely usable.. Terrible experience. Was bombarded with ads before I Could even use the product. One of them I could not dismiss. Had to force quit app and restart it. I get that you want me to upgrade to premium. At least let me try the product first before so I can confirm whether or not it has any value to me before trying to up sell me. I couldn't even use it once before wanting to completely uninstall it and try a competitor. I don't know who is giving this app such high ratings but I'll try my luck with another app.

Helpful. I've noticed I have an easier time getting up in the morning while using this app. I'm not much of morning person, so it has been very helpful. The only problem I have with it is after a certain percentage of my battery is low, I have to charge my phone to use the app. Otherwise, the alarm doesn't seem to go off. I've been late to work a few times because of it.

Stopped working and horrible ads. I had been using this app for years. The info was okay and the alarm was decent. Twice in the last week the app reset in the middle of the night so the alarm didn't go off. Also, intermittently as i am setting it, an ad comes on at maximum volume. As it is late and everyone in my house, including my spouse, is asleep this is just terrible. It has woken my husband up too many times. Why in the world would an ad come on at full volume on an app that will always be set late at night? Truly ridiculous. Don't download. Deleting from my phone.

SUER LOUD ADDS!!!😡. I've had this app for over 2 years now and I used to love it prior to the last two updates. Since last two updates, the adds progression has gone from bad to worse to the point of using full screen adds that simply pop up...very LOUD AND ANNOYING WITH NO OPTION TO TURN OFF IMMEDIATELY. I understand one or even two adds in moderate screen size, but SUPER LOUD UNEXPECTED adds?? Cmon!! FKND WOKE UP MY WIFE 3X already 😡

Useful and easy to use but not perfect. I practically use this app every night. Helps me have a more relaxing wake up while still waking up on time. Highly recommend for anyone. For issues I have: sometimes the dial to set the alarm won’t move, I wish there was a setting to turn off the heart beat monitor, and I wish there was an option to track my sleep without the alarm

Crashes all the time. I have to use this app for Virgin Pulse employee health points. It is just ok. It is not very accurate as it will log times I am asleep as awake. I think it picks up my dogs movement. Recently started crashing every time I try to open it so now I can’t use it to gain employee health points. If it were not for my employer points, I would not sue this app. There are so many other ones that I can sync with my Apple Watch and would be more accurate.

Makes sounds while in silent mode. While I love this app and have multiple years of data with it, the free version started to add random sounds about 6 months ago. To be clear, there are sounds WHILE MY PHONE IS ON SILENT. This is so obnoxious that I’m considering deleting it despite the lost data. Definitely not the right way to convince me to upgrade. Tldr; don’t get this app if you don’t want to wake up your partner or scare yourself half to death with random shouting noises in the morning.

Not working when Do Not Disturb is on. This is my go-to for alarms, even though I don’t use it as a sleep cycle. I love how hard it is to turn off, and how easy it is to use. However, with iOS 12, Do Not Disturb silences the alarm, which is a tad counter-productive. I have several night-owl friends who forget that I get up early. I need to have DND running, or the group texts will help me up all night. I hope this is fixed in an update soon.

Love it!. I have only been using this since last week and I like it a lot. Knowing how well I sleep and the alarm wakes me up at the right times I need to feel great. Before I would feel drained and not wanting to get out of bed. Now I can get up for school/work easier.

Great app until OS 13 broke it. I really liked this app mostly because I could see how well my sleep was and it synced up to my companies like wellness program without having to purchase weird sleep devices that I had to wear. Unfortunately, as of the OS 13 software release for apple, the app no longer opens at all, even after a reinstall. I’m not sure if the developers will ever get around to fixing this and I can’t find a ticket submission form to inform them.

Basic version not good enough. The basic version is not usable and I feel like I’m being annoyed to death into upgrading. The pop ups are numerous and pervasive. Secondly, not being able to adjust the wake up window is not helpful- 30 minutes is too wide and impractical. It means I sacrifice getting enough sleep just to make it easier to wake. I want to wake by 5:15 but waking while it’s still 4 am is crazy Town!

Amazing App. This app works beautifully. I have never had the first problem with it. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for an alarm clock app for their phone because it's so much more than just an alarm clock and it does so many different things.

Space hog and used to be better. I've had this app for quite awhile. It used to be better. Now it doesn't consistently go off (an important thing for an alarm), the light never goes off on your screen when you flip it over like it used to and it is a huge space hog - over half a gig! I had to get rid of it 😔 and lastly - The number of ads and clicks you have to go through just to set the alarm has become painful.

IOS update killed the app. After an iOS update last night, the app stopped working. It failed to track activity last night, now does not work after being deleted and reinstalled. It seems like this has been an ongoing issue(didn’t read the initial reviews) and I could not identify how to contact the company. If you are using this for your company health incentive, find another option as this is too buggy and inconsistent to track reliably.

Sleep Time. Works just as advertised. I like waking up gently inside of an alarm that makes you jump out of bed. It makes a difference in my energy for the day. Recently, another app advertised called Argus with a red flag with a "+" over it, since then it has blocked the sound control. I even downloaded it to get rid of the flag, but is still there, annoying flag in the way. Too many ads wanting you to buy

Didn't like it. So much superficial crap shoved in my face about looks and making others jealous, and the interface is a jumbled, unclear mess of what is/isn't free/premium. I'd rather know and try beforehand, than not have it be clear. And as for all that superficial crap, studies show that people who concentrate on that stuff are more miserable than others who don't. Great way to "feel better" about yourself...

Enjoyable App. This app is simple to use as you place your phone face down your bed and tracks your sleep. Then, it wakes you up at your lightest sleep phase around the time you placed as your alarm clock. The app will send you notifications to wake up or a sound (I forgot xD) Overall, I love this app!

I love this app but REALLY?. Listen, this app is fantastic for sleeping well and tracking your sleep cycles and whatnot. However, recently with the free version after I turn off the alarm a commercial pops up. This really wouldn't bother me but my volume has a tendency to be all the way up and when a video plays there seems to be no immediate way to stop it. I've woken up my entire house several times. I shouldn't have to remember to turn down my volume every night. Fix this please it's such a great app.

Totally disappointing!. I tried the free version of this app and bought the premium price version. It has been a total disappointment and I plan to delete it. It simply does not work. I do exactly what it says to do every night and when I look for data in the morning there is nothing. Don't waste your time and money with this. I'm going to look for a sleep tracker app that actually works. This is nothing but a rip off! I wish I could give it no stars at all, it is that bad.

Very Helpful For Bad Morning People. I am known for not getting up and the morning and going slow, and this app really, and I mean substantially helps we wake up and get ready for school. I've used it for over two years, and I would recommend it to anybody.

Good App but bad advertising tactics. The app works well and the features are great but the way they advertise and how difficult it is to turn off or avoid clicking the advertising is ridiculous. Screens pop up and the closing location is so small that you easily end up clicking on the ad and opening up new windows. I wouldn't mind paying a little to have less ads but this company pushes for monthly subscriptions. Very disappointed with this tactic and the experience.

Updates are slowly making this a one star app. Can we PLEASE get back the ability to type in a wake up time?!? The dial is beyond frustrating to set when your sleepy and half awake, and tends to jump around as you’re trying to release it. I end up settling for a “close enough” alarm clock half of the time. Do better. This is an easy fix.

Sad sad sad. I used and loved this app for over a year because it was simple to use and it woke me in the morning with bird sounds. I did not need or want all the frills like the heart monitor and the exercise stuff but they did not interfere with the alarm clock so I ignored them. Then I made the mistake or updating. Now I can't use the morning birds without paying them. I can't set the clock without watching ads. And I can't use it to track my sleep without giving them personal information that can be used to identify me in a future health database. AlI I wanted was an alarm clock, not Big Brother. Sad, sad, sad.

Do not rely on this app! Alarm does not go off!!!!. I have used his app for a year or so and recently the alarm just does no go off. I woke up three hours late (!) today because it didn’t make a sound or vibrate. When I picked my phone up and looked at the app, only then did it start ringing. And it’s not that I just slept through it or hit snooze; it literally just stopped tracking at 7am (my alarm time) and said that I hit snooze 0 times. Horrible! I missed an important work meeting after staying up all night to get the work done! This app could get you fired from your job!

Crashes with latest iOS 13 update. App won’t open after latest update. Also, unless you buy the fancy version, you will have to put up with stupid ads every time you go to sleep that have non-functioning or hard to press “x” buttons. The last thing I want before trying to go to sleep is an app for a game. Regardless, it did track sleep reasonably well and I hope a patch is made available soon.

Only one problem. I love this app and would give it 5 stars, except for one thing. When I’m turning off the alarm and an ad pops up that is much louder than the alarm, it wakes my husband up. He has sleep issues, so it took a long time to desensitize him to my alarms in the first place. I can live with ads, but please make them silent ones.

I love this app. I love keeping track of how many hours of sleep I get, but best of all, I love that it gently wakes you up when you're about to wake up. I have no idea how it senses that, but I'm so grateful for it. Whereas before I would have been jolted awake by the apple alarm. Honestly, nowadays I physically cringe when I hear the apple alarm clock go off in movies or tv shows.

Great except for loud ads when you wake up. I’ve been using the free version for over a year. I understand the purpose of ads and had no problem with them in this app until recently. On several occasions, a video ad plays at full volume immediately after the alarm is turned off. This is a deal breaker for me and seems totally backwards for an app like this. The last thing you want at 6am is a full volume ad for a toothbrush that wakes up your partner as well.
