Current Format - Databar:
● Savings - Description of savings. For example “Buy 2 Items Get $1.00 Off”.
● Manufacture ID - 5 to 12 digit value.
● Family Code - 3 digit value.
● Offer Code - 6 digit value.
● Expiration - Expiration date of the coupon, when available.
● Doubling Allowed - Shows whether doubling/tripling of the savings is allowed.
● Alternate Eligible Product - Other qualifying product, when available.
● Other Purchase Requirement - Additional purchase requirement, when available.
Original Format - UPC-A / EAN-13:
● Savings - Description of savings. For example “Buy 2 Items Get $1.00 Off”.
● Manufacture ID - 5 digit value.
● Family Code - 3 digit value.
● Doubling Allowed - Shows whether doubling/tripling of the savings is allowed.
Extended Format - UPC-A + GS1-128:

Having Problem Scanning?

2. Make sure you have a device with auto-focus camera. See disclosure #1 below.
3. Select the right barcode type from the scan tab. There are both sample picture and verbal description on which barcode type to select.
4. Make sure there are sufficient lighting.
5. Place camera about 3 or 4 inches away from the coupon.
6. Stop and wait for the camera to focus. If the camera still does not focus (i.e. picture still looks "fuzzy"), shake the iPhone/iPad to force focus.
7. If you are still having problem, please contact support@idearidge.com We can't help you if you don't contact us!

Works fine.. Works fine on my iPhone 5.
Disappointed. App doesn’t work correctly. It doesn’t show what else the coupon is eligible for as it shows in App Store description.
Useless. Nothings scans. No instructions. Sits there. Don't waste your time.
What's the point. How is this information helpful? What is it that we are supposed to learn from the information on the bar codes

Confused. I was wondering how accurate this app is? I scanned a coupon that says COUPON MAY NOT BE DOUBLED, but the scanner says it may be doubled. Would like to know more benefits of app?
Ms. I tried to use this app on several coupons with all 3 types of barcodes. IT DOESNT WORK on my Iphone 4. Dont waste your time spend the $1.99
Crashes continually. This app provides me the type of scanning I need to do with my business. As a Coupon creator, it is important for me to know that the barcodes are coded accurately with the details that I provide. However, the app may scan 10 coupons in succession and then crash on the 11th. Another uncertainty that I have with regard to this app has to do with the fact that your app is not searchable in the App Store. I actually have to scroll down numerous unneeded coupon apps to finally find yours.. there is no information on this and no way for me to contact app support for you to let me know how to handle this. Your last update is at least six years old and there have been many technological advances in iPhones and androids since that time. Please bring your app up to date

Cool idea but doesn't work.. I wish this would work but it doesn't. We tried five different coupons and could not get a single one to scan, it never once took a picture. Just adding a button to push to take the picture would make this app (at least in theory) be really cool
Crap. Did not work
Simple to use & works great!. I wish there was a way to save the decoded coupons for review later otherwise it's perfect!! Only issue i noticed is the expiration date on printed coupons doesn't match the info given (the one given by app is always after exp. date on coupon). I think it might be because printed Qs always expire 30 days after printing. So it probably decodes based on last day the coupon will be available to print.
So dumb. This app is so lame. It doesn't even work. Don't get this app
