Why charge the consumer for the most basic feature?. Quizlet helped me countless times when I was in high school. I’m now in college and have started a job as a cook in an upscale restaurant where I am required to memorize multiple recipes at once. I redownloaded quizlet in hopes that it would aid in this process. And it did. Until after the first test, that is. I don’t know about you, but I think it’s safe to say that tests are why people download this app in the first place so why charge for the most basic feature of the app? This app was meant to be of easy access to students/kids/etc in need, such as a full time college student and worker, living on their own and scraping by as is (me and countless others in the same shoes). Coming from a billion dollar corporation (Yes, billion), this just seems greedy and hurts customer relations. I understand there will be some people that pay, but I predict they will lose hundred of thousands, if not millions of customers. But I guess that is worth it to them since they prioritize money over customer loyalty. Especially since it seems that the developer is choosing to ignore these type of comments and reviews… very disappointing and sad.

Best study job ever!!!. I have been using this app since 2018. It haven’t let me down once. My science teacher required fifteen minutes a day on Quizlet and I never scored below 97% on a test. This app has helped me keep straight A’s in so many different ways. The first way is that it is a very easy app to navigate. This app keeps it very simple with only a few buttons. They also have a help button in their guide that can help you get unstuck if you’re stuck. You need minimal tech knowledge to operate this app. The second way is that you don’t need a subscription to study. Sure you need it for some features, such as, different fonts and font colors, adding pictures, scanning documents, and saving for offline use. But there are so many simple ways of getting around that. As you can tell, this is a must have app for all students of any age. Before I knew about Quizlet I never studied, because who does, right? Wrong. After hearing about Quizlet I love to study. So my advice to any parents who might be reading this is, if your kid(s) grades are dropping because they refuse to study, either have them create a set or create on yourself for them to study and have them practice fifteen minutes a day (except the weekends🙂).

Update Issues. I updated to iPad OS today and quizlet is glitching.. I’m bummed.. I love this app for the Flashcards but... I was trying to add more cards earlier and instead of being able to push tab to go to the next box I have to reach up and flip the card then once done putting the definition in I have to reach up and press done which takes me back to the list then to start another card i have to press the plus sign at the bottom of the screen.. It was way to easy to move through input sections with the tab key.. I’m baffled as to why you would change that to a much more complicated entry process.. AND once I’ve done all that and got my information in the way I would like it and get through anther card or two I look up to see that the program is duplicating my definition in the term box all on it’s own.. after having to go back and correct 5 or more of them I’m throwing up my hands.. i don’t have time to fiddle with a faulty complicated app.. I loved Quizlet until these changes were made and I pay for the subscription but I won’t be doing that anymore.. I hope you guys get these things lined out soon, but if the entry process will remain the same I’ll gladly take my money elsewhere...

Love it!! Great way to study!. I love quizlet because it allows me to study and create sets for all of my exams and tests in school. It’s perfect because I can label diagrams and create flash cards to help me remember certain terms. I like to use quizlet as a “study guide” whenever I’m putting terms into a set so that I can review everything I’ll need to know for a upcoming test. This is really ideal during finals week 😂😅📚, although I would only recommend one thing. I think that it would be even more helpful if there were a couple more ways to learn my terms. I was thinking that there could be a writing feature where you can use your finger to draw/write the answers out so that they can stick in your brain a bit more. Maybe you could also have the ability to draw (I know that you could upload a picture, but..) an image on the flash card to help you remember the term a bit more. Overall it really is a great app 👍🏻 to study 📖 with whether you are on the go or just at home.

Why?. I am infuriated. The marketing team on this app needs to be fired for their incompetence. This is absolutely ridiculous. How is it that the human body has over a trillion cells and yet not one member of this team seems to have a single functioning brain cell? This is a study app, and last I checked most students aren’t rich. In fact about half of the school population cannot even afford school lunch, (percentages may vary depending on location). It is these students that truly rely on school to better their lives and making them pay for an app that has quite frankly been assisting them succeed in school is absolutely ridiculous. If they cannot afford school lunch I’m truly confounded on how you expect them to be able to pay for this app. And don’t tell me there is a free version. Not only can you only take the practice test once you can only learn for 5 rounds. Honestly I hope you go bankrupt for this lack of intelligence. If you would like to still remain a good app I suggest you revert to your old ways, as soon as possible. Stop obsessing over profits, it’s evident in your actions and is quite frankly embarrassing, you're a study app. Anyhow, (while the marketing teams collectively shares 1/132th of a brain cell to read and comprehend this review, and perhaps try to implement some changes), does anyone have recommendations for something that’s, I don’t know, broke-people friendly.

Quizlet went to crap. So many students relied on quizlet. You want money? Run ads. Don’t make a tool that has been available to students for years unavailable. No one should have to pay for this crap. It has been free to use for so long. I got through high school with this. Couldn’t have passed Spanish without it. I can’t imagine how difficult you’ve made teachers lives who have relied on this for years. This was the one good source of studying, and now it’s gone. No student can afford to pay for this. All you people had to do was run ads. Instead you turned money hungry and don’t care that people need to learn. Education shouldn’t cost students in high school anything. I wanted to study to become a CNA. Seems like I’ll be doing it the old fashioned way. I can’t believe how many people who have turned away from this site and app. And the lack of creator responses on anyone discussing the need to pay in order to study more than just flash cards is ridiculous. Avoiding the biggest issue. I was a long time user of Quizlet, used it since middle school. It’s very disappointing where this company took its business. Right to where everyone else does. Asking for money. Just run ADS.

Sad :(. hello. i loved quizlet. notice how i said loved. for many people exams are coming up and i like many others have exams. as i’m studying for my class i start with the learn game. that helps me out the most and i like it. when i got done with my 5 rounds (mind u i had 6 terms that i hadn’t studied) AND IT WOULDNT LET ME CONTINUE TO LEARN THEM BC I HAD TO PAY. 😡😤😡😤 after raging for like a min i was like ok i’ll do test bc i usually do thay when i’m done learning all the terms and wouldn’t u know it i did bad bc i didn’t learn all of the terms. After being sad i was like it’s fine i’ll do it again but i was incorrect bc ITS MAKING ME PAY FOR ANOTHER TEST. and i was like ok let me do flash cards but the problem is i hate flash cards bc i just flip the card over every time bc idc the answer but i would know the answer but UR MAKING ME PAY TO LEARN MY WORDS. 😩😩😤😡😞😡😤😤 anyway i understand needing to make money i’m all for that rich life but how i’m i going to get a rich life when i fail ap gov bc idk the terms. so please idc if u show me like 5 ads just let me learn all of my words so i can pass my exam. if u do i’ll rate u 5 stars instead of 2 and i’ll use u forever!🙏🏻🙏🏻

THOUGHT I WAS CHEATING. I was called down to the office of my high school and accused of violating academic integrity. This was all because Quizlet doesn’t automatically make all sets ONLY VISIBLE TO ME when they are made. Instead they are listed as VISIBLE TO EVERYONE, and this allows everybody to see your sets. In my freshman year I created Quizlets of each chapter’s tests in my Financial Literacy course. These were made EXCLUSIVELY for me to study for my end of course exam. Unfortunately, because Quizlet makes all sets originally visible to EVERYBODY, others in my school found them the next year. In my sophomore year I was accused of “cheating,” for what I thought was simply being a good student, and finding a way to study. Then, they accused ALL of my Quizlets as being made of answers taken from returned tests, when almost all were made off in class notes. I had to delete all of my Quizlets from my account at today. I don’t know if this is the whole punishment or if there will be something else. I’ll see where this goes, maybe they’ll ban Quizlet on school devices, but I can’t see myself being suspended or expelled. I’m a good student. Why did this happen to me?! I think quizlet is partially at fault for this. They need to make all sets originally ONLY VISIBLE TO ME and if the student wants it changed to VISIBLE TO EVERYONE they should have to do so MANUALLY.

The update ruined everything. Please fix the app. I have relied on quizlet through nursing school. It is my everything when it comes to studying. The new update, which happened a couple of days ago, has made quizlet unreliable and defective. I’m so upset. Now, when I go to add to a set, and click add notecard, it doesn’t jump to the end and continue the set. Instead, it inserts it as like, card 3. Right at the beginning. I have to scroll through 200+ notecards to get to the end. It’s way too easy to accidentally DELETE a note card! Never to know what it was again. ALSO.. if I try to delete that random blank one that was inserted in the beginning, it shuffles the order of my notecards. The order they are in is very important in what I’m studying. Then I go to “set to original order” and it doesn’t change it back. They’re stuck. It’s touchy, finicky. ANOTHER EX- If I go to add a new notecard, I type whatever question I want into the front, click the “flip”, type the answer in the back, and if I flip it back to the front to add something, what I typed has disappeared. I now have to retype it all out. It’s like I have to save each and every notecard in fear they’ll delete or the text will go away. Please... I’m BEGGING you to save my college career by bringing the original Quizlet back. Thank you

Simply the BEST flashcard app.. I tried out several flash card apps, and it's almost ridiculous how much better this one was than the others. It's very easy to keep the cards organized and edited. I love the fact that I can log into the website to create and modify the cards, and then access and edit them from anywhere with the app. The program even detected the languages that I was typing in on each side of the card for me, and offers the special symbols for each language to easily insert as I type! The cards can be randomized and it's easy to switch to testing from one side of the card to the other. You can even generate quizzes and games based upon your card sets! This is just a wonderful, easy-to-use study aid that I highly recommend if you're looking for a good mobile flashcard app. Update: I’ve recently upgraded to Quizlet Plus, and I wish I’d done so a long time ago! So many useful features, especially long term learning!

Great app, not loving the ads and the layout.... Regardless of the things I’m about to suggest, this app is a literal life-saver. I don’t know anyone in my school who doesn’t use Quizlet, and the Match game is so fun to play with my friends. There are a few things that would make it more convenient, though, First of all, I know adding advertisements “makes learning free” and stuff, but please don’t put an ad each time I finish a section in Learn Mode. Sometimes when I get one question wrong it’ll put that question in its own section and will keep repeating the same section a couple of times, and after I answer the question, it shows me an ad. You can skip the ads almost immediately, however, so it’s not really a huge problem...it’s just a minor annoyance. I also wish you could view your folders in a grid view rather than a list. I don’t really like how the home screen is set up... it shows your recent sets at the top, folders on the second row (which are not listed by most recent), and classes at the bottom. Could everything just be in one big grid view, like in Dropbox or PDF Expert? Anyway, keep doing what you do! It really helps make learning a bit more interesting!

Quizlet. Quizlet has many cool features about it! I downloaded the app and put in my Spanish flash cards. Quizlet offers a Learn (to learn the flash cards), Test, Quiz as well as other flash cards. You also get to choice what you want on the test. Ex: True or false, Written and or multiple choice. You can play around with these. Quizlet also tracks your score and progress which is amazing. One last thing is that you can share flash cards with anybody through links! This is very helpful if you want to switch devices. Oh, I forgot to mention if you put in something similar to the answer in learn you have choose to choose if it’s correct or not. All of these are very helpful! If I had to say any new features I may have want is an email and or text message if you have questions when using a teachers flash cards. Also zoom trivia with friends would be nice. Like, if you partners with zoom or FaceTime or something and they’ll be flash cards each person has to do. I think it would be a cool way to study but quizlet is already amazing, just to go over the top, you know.

Quizlet Makes Studying Easier and More Effective. Quizlet is part of the reason I am able to maintain a 4.0 college gpa! I find that simply the act of creating my flash card sets familiarizes me with the material enough that I will only have to review it a few times before the test. Flash card sets are a great way to organize the information that is actually important for the test and by having it on an app, you can look over flash cards anytime you have five minutes! I love that I can add photos to note cards! The only thing I wish is that I could put the photo on the “term”side instead of the “definition” side so that when I am studying my flash cards by term, I am shown the photo and prompted to give the indicated answer. I also wish you could have more than one diagram per study set and that there was a way to study multiple sets combined together or to bulk-edit the notecards, such as splitting one set into two separate sets by simply checking the cards you wanted to “transfer” to a new set.

Crappy Updates. With each major update, this app becomes worse. I am now unable to view all the words written on my cards, rendering this app completely useless. They just cut off, with no way to see what else was written. The new “add multiple answers” feature is clunky and annoying, and should be an option that you can turn on or off. I am an avid quizlet user, and am already frustrated with having to hit tab 2x instead of one when creating large decks. I find it hard to believe the majority of users are needing that for most of the cards they are making. Additionally, why are we not able to use our key pad arrows to move through the cards yet?? Adding this feature would increase the ease of use immensely, as we can currently use the space bar to flip the card, but then still have to swipe to get to the next one. Overall, instead of making the app easier to use, they continue to add useless features while making the old perfectly good features not work. Extremely disappointed, and going into finals, extremely frustrating to not be able to see what my cards say. Please fix.

Suggestions. First of all, there should be a place to leave suggestions on the website or in the app. I like Quizlet but if there is not a place for its customers to leave suggestions, then maybe making customers happy isn’t there main goal. Especially since most features on Quizlet are pay-to-use now. Like I said before, I enjoy using Quizlet, specifically the flash card feature. However, I do have some suggestions. There should be a way to edit a card as you are studying it. For example, if I have made a typo on the back of a card, I have to stop the study session and find that specific card within the set in order to correct the mistake. Seems like it would be an obvious idea to edit cards as you need to. Also, it takes some time for the app to update. Once I use my laptop to add a set to my account, that set doesn’t show up in the iPadOS app for several minutes. Not the biggest issue in the world but certainly something to note. Gave 3 stars because I enjoy using the app, but it is far from perfect.

Good app but two suggestions. Quizlet is a great app to study with. Its super helpful, and even without quizlet plus is awesome for vocab practice. I have used it frequently for English quizzes and tests, and am even using it right now for my SSAT upper level vocab section. I just have two suggestions. Im using someone else’s study set with 2000 words, and I made a copy so I could edit some words I thought had a different meaning, or were incorrect. I also copied it so I could remove the images, since for some reason I find it harder to study with them. I think I would absolutely love this app if only there was an option to remove all the images, since its tedious having to manually remove every single image. My second suggestion is that it would be super helpful if there was a feature to sort of command f, and find a specific word instead of having to manually look through every word in an attempt to change its definition. Or even just have an alphabetical order option for when I am editing the words would be super helpful. Apart from these two things, its an absolutely wonderful app and totally deserves its 4.8 rating.

Amazing to Awful. I don’t use this app like every single day since not all my classes have it. But when I do after like 5 to 10 minutes of studying I’m guaranteed atleast a A- because it’s so helpful. The fact that you need to purchase some features don’t really bother me and the ads are rarely ever a problem. I do find it a bit annoying that it constantly ask you to sign up and enter your email but whatever. So yeah I guess it was worth the download! - A couple years later and look where we are. I’m trying to study for a science quiz and I get to do the test option ONE time. That feature CARRIED me and 6th grade because I could do it over and over until I got 100% now I’m in 8th grade and expected to pay your goofy subscription. I don’t like flash cards or matching, they don’t help me learn. Which is why I liked that this app because there were many features you could work with. I could deal with the ads, I can’t do anything about this. Good app if you’re willing to empty your pocket for it. Horrible if you’re a younger kid just trying to pass the semester with anything higher than a C. I guess it wasn’t worth the download.

Absolutely not worth the money. In lieu of giving some long and tedious description of all the issues this app has, here just a bullet list of negative highlights: - often very laggy, even on the newest iPhones - after the most recent update, as was the case already sometimes in the past, it nonstop crashes (for instance on an iPhone 12 pro) - no spaced repetition system, which is ludicrous for a index card learning app - poor text to voice bot - poor user interface In sum, it feels as if a random bunch of college students is tasked with developing and servicing this app. Update: so today came out another ‘bugfix’. Technically it fixed a bug, and introduced another. Now, when you study your words with the premium functions and have to choose ‘got it’ or ‘study again’, you have to redo it instantly after, no matter of your choice. So yes, each card now must be answered twice in a row - which also means no card ends up in the repeatable subfolder, since you always answer twice correctly. :) This quality coding is going on since I made the mistake of making myself huge sets of words to learn ( I am a polyglot). It’s really pathetic at this point. Update: next update everything worked fine afaik

Best Study App. I don’t usually write reviews, but this app has changed my life. I currently self study Japanese with Genki, and for each lesson there is a list of vocabulary. I used to write flash cards by hand, but that wasted paper and was very time consuming. Then I discovered Quizlet. The actual review: I love how you can make flash card decks for free, and you can change the language. I also enjoy learning with learn and the other methods. It makes studying so much more fun. Mostly, the app is free but you have the option to buy the no ads, and the study offline, add pictures and more all in one subscription but I haven’t done that because it already has all I need without it. My only request would be to have all the features that are on computers on mobile as well. Other then that, this is the best study app you can get for flash cards and I definitely recommend it for anyone who needs to use flash cards and learn vocabulary.

Fallen apart: Moving basic functionality behind a paywall. I’ve used quizlet since high school and they have really gotten wild. I am totally fine with them having the premium service, good on them! However, making the basic ORIGINAL functions of the app under premium now. Ridiculous. I can’t use the quiz function to quiz myself on my notes? Yeah I’ll go to the way I quiz when I’m off WiFi / cell. Without that SINGLE function, I have literally no use for this application or website. Hope other students are able to find or create the resources to do the same and move on from quizlet. I know I can no longer recommend the site to my fellow students and I will instead be sending my class notes and study guides through other means. I always tried to support by using the site, watching ads and recommending it to others. But I cannot support through direct financial resources. I am a community college student trying to work through school, my job, and my family struggles, money is tight. EDIT: You guys also took away the learn function????? Literally a pointless app now. Glad that I wasted 7+ years supporting this company for it to turn around like this

Overall Great App with Room for Improvement. Quizlet gets the job done of a flash card app and goes beyond with intelligent, cool study features. One simple, big win improvement you could make is to allow sorting alphabetically when editing a flash card set. I have some sets with 200 terms that have no pre-planned order. I just add words as I discover them. If I want to make an addition or update, I have to scroll through a randomly-ordered list, searching for the right one to edit. I’ve also experienced a bug where, during editing, a term I’ve newly added will disappear and I’ll have to re-add it. This often happens when switching to other apps before saving by tapping “Done” while the app remains open in the background. I usually switch back and forth from Safari to reference my sources and check that I’m filling out my terms correctly. The app remains open and it’s usually just a few seconds of switching so the data should persist during that process and not drop any terms.

Learned it banner covers up the bottom of the flash card. Don’t use this app if there are any long scientific words or definitions that you need to memorize. When studying the flash cards the bottom of the card will always say learned it with a little hand pointing right, or study again with a hand pointing left. Embarrassingly for quizlet, this covers up the bottom of the flash card you are trying to study. So if you have a long enough definition, (which is super common for anyone in the STEM field, and most likely true for those outside of it) you won’t actually be able to use the whole flash card. If there was an option to change the font size of the flash card this would be easily resolved. I have no idea how they haven’t noticed or resolved this years ago considering how long quizlet has been around. Pictures also cannot be added to both sides of a flash card which really would not be that hard to program. And if you are going to pay extra money to be able to add pictures you would think the advantage would be visually memorizing things, I.e. matching a complex equation with a plot. The picture also can’t be alone on the back of a flash card. If text is not added the app will glitch and not even show the picture. In conclusion don’t use this app if you are studying STEM or anything with a long definitions. Also don’t pay to add pictures to the flash cards unless you only plan on adding a picture to one side.

Amazing study app. I bought the premium for $12 for a year because I knew how many Flashcards I used. I love flashcards. Buying the premium included so many other things that I really enjoy. You should really get this app if you make a lot of flashcards to study. The service also turns your cards into different varieties of questions that are very helpful to test your knowledge like multiple choice and fill in the blank. The premium also has a night setting which is great too. I have two complaints which are very frustrating. The syncing of the app between devices. I have added flash cards, appropriately exited and saved the flash cards, and exited the app on my iPad. The next day I tried reviewing the flash cards on my iPhone Quizlet app and half of the terms disappeared. Now I have to re-read 20 pages to find the terms I put down. Be mindful of this potential issue! My second complaint is editing the flash cards on my iPhone. Whenever I try editing a sentence it only lets me edit one word before it send me to the very end of the sentence. So I have to go back and forth by adding one letter and space at a time when editing words in a sentence. It is so annoying and very frustrating!

Lack of Intuitive Options. Paying member here who switched to Quizlet after having tried nearly every other flash card app on the market. I use it to help me remember a number of things for my job, or when prepping for meetings or even interviews. I've felt increasingly disappointed by Quizlet's lack of intuitive personal options. It blows my mind that there is no FAVORITES button or option that takes you directly to the flashcard sets you want to practice. Instead you have to navigate all the way back to the home page and go digging through your account. This is a huge issue on mobile which is where most people spend an enormous amount of time. To exacerbate issues further, Quizlet encourages you to add as many flashcard sets as you'd like. This is ideal, but it's COMPLETELY CANCELLED out by the inability to get to the specific different sets you need most, especially if they live in different folders (for example, by category or type). It would also be helpful if the Smart Scoring could ask you ahead of time what keywords to look for when you TYPE in the answer. Instead, it judges based on how exact of a text-match it is to the answer (despite their claim that it's not supposed to do that). BEWARE OF WHAT YOU'RE BUYING WHEN YOU GET QUIZLET.

Do better.. I LOVED Quizlet. But when you risk the education of others just to make more money?? I personally paid for a quiz plus a few years ago, but when I heard from my classmates and fellow students that they had to PAY for QUIZLET and could no longer continue studying how they are expected to study for school. How is it fair that using resources like Quizlet should be at cost to struggling families and students. My fellow classmates and I use Quizlet almost every day in our classes as a part of our education. Even though there are still features on Quizlet that are free, the most vital features on Quizlet are now at cost for our own education. Now they can no longer exceed expectations that school requires for studying , with having to pay for test mode and more learning rounds— which helps millions of students study every single day?! Thousands and thousands of teachers use Quizlet to help teach their classes and help their students have a higher education. We beg of you PLEASE QUIZLET, I’m speaking on behalf of the thousands and thousands of students, teachers, & schools that use Quizlet on a daily basis. Not everyone is capable of paying in order to succeed in school. This is absolutely incredibly unacceptable and disgusting. When I first heard the news, I thought it was a joke. Please Quizlet, bring back the old you. Bring back the Quizlet we all knew and loved. Make Quizlet amazing again. Thank you. #standwiththefight #wewanttheoldquizlet #bringbackOURquizlet

Quizlet is the best!. I’ve been using quizlet for three years now and I have always been able to count on it to study for my tests and quizzes. You can even make your own study sets if there isn’t a set already made for you to study. I sometimes go one quiz let for fun, and I look up random quizzes to test my iq and it’s just really fun and reliable to use. You can make your own account and make quizzes for others to use to, not just for you. There is quizlet go and premium quizlet that you can pay for to get extra fun things to do on quizlet! I love using quizlet sooooooooooooooo much and I would definitely recommend you to use it because it’s just super helpful and makes studying for tests and quizzes REALLY fun!!!!!!@!@!! Love y’all and thanks for reading this. Whoever is reading this is a really beautiful person and you deserve to be loved and cared for. You are special in your own unique way and you should love yourself for that. Sending love to those who read this and hope that you get and enjoy using quizlet! Love you beautiful people!!! 🤪🥰😘

I LOVE this app, it’s so amazing!. I’ve had Quizlet for my whole entire school career, and it has saved my grades on sooo many occasions. Especially in anatomy, Spanish and medical terminology. Having Quizlet allowed me to study efficiently and effectively. And also for having it for so long, allowed me to see the app grow. It’s enhanced algorithm allowed me to barely type a medical term and it would automatically show up in suggestions, then when I selected the definition, it too automatically had three variations of the definition without me barley even having to type a thing. This perk allowed me to build multiple sets in a breeze, and left me more time to study. There’s just so much more but I don’t want this review to go on forever. So I would highly suggest this app for anyone who needs to study a lot and to do it efficiently, even if you pay for the premium feature, it’s so helpful for when you’d need a picture or any other effect, the very few bucks you’d spend are 100% worth it!

A new helpful feature for language learners: Word search bar in sets. Quizlet has been a great help as I progress throughout my studies but as the number of flash cards rise in my set, it becomes so much harder to find and edit one. Say that I want to clarify a written meaning, or add a secondary meaning to a word on a flash card. Among currently 1093 and rising flash cards, it’s very hard to find that singular one and edit it. It’s also very time consuming and draining if I even manage to find it. And when you reach such a high amount of flash cards in a set, you inevitably have duplicates of words you thought you didn’t know yet but you indeed did, which could be rooted out by having a search bar feature to root out any potential duplicates if I’m feeling deja vu about a word or sentence ending. Having an encyclopedia of all the words you know in a language and being able to study them can help reinforce language learning, so having a search bar feature for definitions and terms would be a great help.

Great app until its not!!!!. I have had quizlet for years. I loved it and recommend to several people. I pay for the upgraded version which will gives you extra features, awesome right?! Well all of a sudden my account says nope you are using the free version, no upgraded features for you! Excuse me!?! My receipt and my monthly payment begs a differ sir! So I do what any sensible person does. I delete the app, reload the app, login back in, make sure the app is updated, make sure my iPad Pro 2nd generation is updated. Check, check, and check! Then I go to the web version because maybe it’s the app that’s just glitching. Nope, apparently it’s my account. I put three tickets in to try to get a actual human being to help me instead of automated answers form a service bot. Their response is your account is glitching p but we have fixed it, your good to go. But am I??. The answer is No! Still the same problem. It’s like pulling teeth to get someone to actually fix my account so I can actually get what I paid for. If you want an app that great until it’s not then this is the app for you! Cross your fingers and say a prayer that in the middle of preparing for your exam your account all of a sudden doesn’t work. Please provide actual help and fix your glitches!

Please reconsider the paywall; accessibility matters. I’ve used Quizlet for years. It was my number 1 study tool in high school. My family didn’t have much money when I was in school so I of course had to use inexpensive/free methods of studying. I used Quizlet at school to study during my free moments because I didn’t have internet at home, therefore school was the only place I could study. My purpose for listing this information is: there are SO many students out there who deserve access to an effective study tool without having to spend money they don’t have. Additionally, Quizlet’s main user base is HIGH SCHOOL and COLLEGE STUDENTS, who, 9 times out of 10, do not have that much money to spare. They are likely using Quizlet to study towards getting a diploma or degree, which will ultimately lead to better career opportunities. Quizlet is an amazing and incredibly effective service for studying that worked for so long without the need for a paywall, and adding that is making this service unavailable to SO MANY loyal users, because they can’t afford it. Not to mention, costs for basic necessities are increasing like crazy, and a study tool is one of the last things anyone would consider spending money on. Truthfully, this paywall addition is likely going to destroy Quizlet, which is not what anyone wants. Please remember who uses Quizlet the most, and think of how they will be affected first and foremost when making changes to your service.

So disappointed, I don’t even have words.. I don’t even want to give one star I am so upset. I used to love Quizlet and used it through middle school, high school, and the beginning of college. Until they added a ridiculous pay wall. Quizlet do you even know who your users are? Students. We are students. Teachers even used to use Quizlet to help their classes who now can’t access the material since you blocked it behind a paywall. Your app is no better than any other flashcard app or making them by hand. I’m in college, as are many others of your users and I assume many of you yourselves who work at Quizlet used to be. Do you know and remember how expensive college is? On top of rising inflation, gas prices, housing costs, etc? Bring back the ads. We don’t mind those. But now that you have a pay wall people like myself and others will no longer be able to use what once was a great app because we simply can’t afford it. I understand the “if you value it enough you’ll pay for it” but it’s so hard when we also have so many other expensive things to pay for to try and make it through college. Please bring back the old Quizlet.

Terrible Update Issues- please change it back!!!. I am so upset. I have used quizlet for years since starting in medical school and have hundreds of flashcard sets. In the past few months, it has been glitchy but the recent update in the past month really destroyed it. My cards keep getting shuffled without me using the shuffle feature and it is wasting huge amounts of time to place them back in order, especially since there is no easy way to do this. Sometimes, cards are also not saved somehow. Again, I have been using this app for years so I know it has not always been this way. Also, the phone update made it so that you cannot turn your phone sideways to see the cards which makes cards with a lot of text on them difficult to read. You also used to be able to enlarge pictures and zoom in very well on your phone, but now you can’t do either. You also can’t go through the cards on your phone as easily as before by simply swiping left or right. The new system is much more complicated and annoying to use. The appearance of the cards also do not look as clean as they did before, by trying to make them look more like a stack of paper flashcards. I have relied on quizlet for a long time and recommended it to many people. Please please please change it back to how it was before!!!!!

4 stars Quizlet is great!. Let’s just say that quizlet has made me a great student. It helps the most in subjects that you have to memorize things for a test a.k.a science and history. The match feature is great because it’s super quick and you can compete against classmates. Another feature that is great is the learn feature because it determines what things you need to study and what you don’t. The best thing on quizlet is how simple it is to make a “set.” You can literally search any topic at all and it will come up. Then you just press copy and your done! You can also make your own sets! The things that I don’t like about quizlet is when your using the test feature spelling counts so if you get the answer right but spell it wrong you get it wrong. They should add a spelling doesn’t count setting because I rarely use it for spelling/grammar tests. Overall this app is great because you can share your sets, use all your sets for finals, make a set in a minute and it is super easy to make an account! I will bow down to the quizlet gods.

Disappointing Service. Don’t get me wrong—I’m one of those kids who got by because of this app in high school and college. I got through with it because of the USERS who created study decks and helpful vocab lists for subjects I was struggling in. The best part was that it was free and accessible when other learning tools had insanely expensive subscriptions. And now, quizlet has joined them. Rather than continuing to focus on the wonderful app they had, they decided to rip this resource away from those who really need it (and those who used it the most). What’s even more bizarre is that quizlet is literally just a website essentially. They don’t produce content; they don’t create the study decks. They’re profiting from the work of students and educators who have worked harder on their decks than the corporate office of quizlet (who no doubt made this decision selfishly) ever will. Disappointing and absolutely not worth it. The horrible joke is that the app isn’t even worth spending money on!! There is no feature that is special enough to need to spend money on, especially with some of the recent changes which are just hot dumpster fires of ideas anyway. Avoid at all cost.

NO PAYWALL. I started using Quizlet when I was 11 years old. This year I will be a junior in high school. I have used it every year, extensively, without fail. Without sounding way over dramatic, this app was everything to me. The learn feature, its most useful tool, was the one thing I truly used. It learned the material for you! My high school has a thriving quizlet group we use all the time. I add to it. Making quizlets for my classes is like a nice little gift from me to them. And now you are taking all of that away. Struggling students cannot afford a MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION. By giving in to the apparently all-consuming urge to soak up as much profit as you can, you are taking a resource previously enjoyed by all and donating only to students who can afford it. Only to students rich enough to spend money on a subscription to an external educational app. I wish I could say I’m surprised. I am one of the people privileged enough to be able to afford the subscription you now demand to use the best features. I’m not complaining because I want the app for free. I’m complaining because of the advantage you’re stripping away from those who cannot. Quizlet corporate, I know you don’t care whatsoever, but I hope the people in charge feel at least a tiny bit bad for succumbing to corporate greed in the face of profit. This was the wrong move.

I loveeeeeee. When I tell y’all you can find the answer to anything on quizlet even those courses and subjects that aren’t even common. Dmv Answers and all that. I started My Freshman year the year the pandemic hit and i already go to an online school but the teachers barely be helping and with the work overload I was struggling keeping up and actually learning so my tenth grade year i thought i was for sure done for and i wasn’t gonna pass but i decided to keep using quizlet to get me through the year and it really is god sent!! Especially those who put the sets and classes and answers on quizlet are god sent!! I can find so many answers on quizlet and i can work ahead instead of falling behind. My Junior Now (Aug 2022) and I’m gonna keep using quizlet and studying and working ahead even when i get a job, i’m gonna be working way ahead so i won’t have to think about my school work. Just can’t wait till I graduate in a year and a half lol.

Amazing study methods, helped so much. Before I had used Quizlet, I had a really hard time remembering content and just generally studying. After I got introduced to it by a teacher of mine, I started using it for my language class in order to remember vocabulary and grammar structures. It really helped! With the help of Quizlet and spaced repetition, I scored 100% on two of my language tests. After a while I also used it for studying for a science assessment that was a huge weight on my grade (it was also 50 questions). I procrastinated until the evening before the test, and quickly made flash cards using Quizlet. I studied them for a few hours, and the next day during the test, I got 100%. What I really love about Quizlet is their ‘Learn’ feature. It is structured in an efficient way and is an absolute asset when it comes to studying for wide-range content tests. Not to mention, they’ve also got other fun ways to review your flash cards! If you use their ‘Learn’ method along with spaces repetition, I can guarantee that you will score much higher on your tests! I would most definitely recommend this app.

This app is a lifesaver. Quizlet rocks! I use it to study for all my exams, and the best part is that you don’t have to lug around a bunch of flashcards everywhere. You can make your own study sets, look at other people that are studying the same thing, and you can invite people you know to join your class. You can share your flashcards and study them together. My friends and I have been doing that—we have a class, and we divide up the flashcard-making and then share them so we don’t have to make a gazillion flashcards. Also, if you’re really competitive (which I definitely am) they have some really fun and cool games to help you practice, and you can try to beat your friends’ score. The “Learn” setting is really effective; it focuses on the things you need to practice and also introduces newer cards. This app is basically everything you need to ace your exams and tests all in one place. No more taking binders, folders, backpacks, and index card boxes to the library for me!😂

Great app, but….. I love this app and it has changed the trajectory of my studying. The one and only issue I have is that it is extremely cumbersome to find cards and edit them. I have one set with most of the words/vocabulary I have ever learned. It currently has 865 cards and I go through a quarter of the set every day to keep fresh. BUT if I find a typo, it is insanely difficult to find the card in the edit section and fix it. Additionally, I have accidentally created cards multiple times because I don’t see them while editing due to the random/crazy order. There is seemingly no key word search (let me know if I am wrong) and the cards are in the original order of entry. Sometimes I just don’t have the energy to enter everything related to a single term at once. So the result is random order. I have thought about upgrading and re-entering the set by re-sorting it in Excel, but there is no way (again that I can tell) to get the sets into a format and into a program that could sort even with copy/paste or some other draconian methodology. So I am not upgrading. Something as simple as a key word search or a way to edit or flag an erroneous card when one sees it while studying. Please help!! If anyone has solved this issue, please let me know.

Amazing App!. WOW! This app helped me so much to study and helps me retain it! First of all the notifications always helped me get on tracks and remind me not to get distracted. Second of all, the starring option helped me so much in helping me memorize it. Even though it’s a little tedious, but in the end you’ll always get the hang of it. And third of all, I absolutely love how it gives you short chunks of questions for the learn option and how it gives you positive messages. Even though it was great and my rating remains as a 5 star, I highly do suggest that you might want to put some positive messages if you’re doing really bad in a question segment. Second of all, I really like the meteorite game on the Web version but I am disappointed it’s not here. Lastly, I really want to see that you can copy and paste a document and it automatically creates a set, like in the Web Version. Anyways, I really like the app and I hope you follow through on my suggestions!

My take on this app.. Quizlet is a great app for studying especially for school. Though, it does have some cons to it as-well. Cons- I love quizlet a lot. But i don’t wanna take a test once because i don’t have premium, i want to take it multiple times but i can’t since i don’t have premium. As well as when i try to underline a word, it will ask me to get premium. The same with the “Learn” option. I just wish quizlet didn’t make it so after i do it once i can’t do it again unless i have premium (this is only with underlining words, the learn and test option). But in conclusion, i love this app a lot and it comes in handy when i have a test coming up. It’s flashcards on the go and i’m all here for that. They even have a option where you can listen to it, so let’s say you were doing something and couldn’t look at the phone, you could press “ Auto” and it would read and flip through the cards by itself. I definitely recommend this app and give it 5 stars.

Developers plz read. I’ve used Quizlet since 2019 and it’s pretty much never failed. I could study for exams w/ 100 or 200+ terms w/ no problem but now i feel quizlets getting a bit stingy. Now you can only use learn for four rounds. After the four rounds are finished you have to upgrade to premium. Premium is about 8.00 dollars a month. That’s just absurd. It’s so ridiculous expensive. And I understand that you have to make money some how but 8 dollars a month?? (Yes I am aware of the 35 dollars a ur which id say is equally expensive) I understand the ads. I was totally fine w/ the ads for money reasons that made sense but now I can’t really study using Quizlet unless I want to pay 8 dollars a month or 35 a year. I would even b fine if it was 8 dollars a final purchase for premium. And on a side note I received a notification about the write section being transferred to a new location, the learn section. It’s not in the learn section it was simply taken away. And not to be rude or brash in my comments, but I’m just utterly disappointed with the way Quizlet has come to be. originally it was a rlly good app but now I see things have changed. Thankyou

Love this app! Just a few recommendations.... This app is so helpful with studying and I 100% recommend to anyone who has classes with lots of vocabulary and/or study guides and tests. I have multiple devices that I use to study (iPad, iPhone, Mac, etc.) and I have noticed that you can only move the terms up/down on the computer. I would prefer to be able to do this on all devices, especially when I’m on the go. When moving terms, you have to do it manually... I advice the programmers to add a feature where you can have a drop down page where you can move it to a specific place immediately, rather than having the ability to only move it manually. When you have two of the same term, quizlet let’s you know. I think it would be much more productive to shoes in setting if you want to be notified if you have two of the same terms, definitions, or completely duplicated information. I have mistaken the alert notifying me of duplicate terms for alerting me for multiple of the same exact thing. Of course, like I said before, I love this app, and besides these tiny mishaps I recommend it to all looking for a productive study.

Amazing Great for Studying!!!. First of all this app is amazing! So what I did was an experiment with the app. Well for starters I am a Sophomore in High-school, and I have been using the app since 8th grade. So, for the experiment, every other test I used the app and the others I didn’t. I noticed that when I used my normal notes I did ok on the test, but I knew I could surely do better. On tests I did not use the app to study for, I would make around a high “C” or low “B”. While when I studied using the app I would make a high “B” to an “A”. I know that some of you are thinking why would a 10th grader take this risk for their grade in classes, but at my school you can retake every test you take once. You can only retake if you have lower than a 89% and that is the highest “B” possible. So it wasn’t a big risk because the day I would get my grades back, the same night I would go home a study again but using Quiz-let. And I would more than likely get an “A”. So I really recommend this app. Every since I started using the app, I became an all “A” student and that occasional one “B”.

No Longer a Good Study Tool. Until today, I would have given Quizlet a five star rating without hesitation. I have been a loyal Quizlet user for at least the last five years, and have always bragged about what an amazing study tool it is. It made it so easy for me to memorize material, create study sets, and feel truly prepared for tests. But, with the most recent update, every single feature I love and value has been moved to premium use only - and my favorite feature of all has been completely done away with. No longer can you use learn mode to review content over and over, create tests to see how you are doing, or (my favorite that is completely gone) use the “write” feature to type things again and again and again until you’ve pounded them into your own head. And worst of all, the hours I have spent creating study sets for upcoming tests are pointless, as I can no longer use the features. Unless you want to pay for premium, Quizlet is just a basic flash card platform now. Everything that made it stand apart is gone. There are plenty of other flash card apps if you are looking for that. I no longer have any reason to recommend this one over other options.

Flashcards from Notes Unusable for learning Languages. I have had a very frustrating morning trying to take pictures of typed vocabulary to create flashcards. Trying to create flashcards from pictures was very unwieldy because the picture was small and I had to try to select each individual tiny word. If you have a language that goes from right to left, forget about it. So then I just tried to create a list from notes just focusing on the English. I thought I could add the translation afterwards one by one. In the preview, the correct words were extracted. However, the problem happened when the AI tried to create flashcards. It was trying to provide English definitions for each term and I didn’t ask for that. When it became overwhelmed with the definitions, it threw out the scanned words and provided a completely random set of flashcards that had nothing to do with what I had scanned. It was a complete waste of time and money to get the subscription. And worse, I can’t find a way to provide feedback except through the App Store. If you’re studying a foreign language, don’t expect the scan feature to help you create flashcards. Lastly, there’s no way to quickly delete a flashcard. You can only hold down the backspace until you erase each line and then save it - it takes up time. Quizlet should offer a way to provide feedback to improve their product.

Unethical for.... Quizlet makes it difficult to cancel a subscription, and the company minimizes visibility in finding how to cancel. I haven't owned a subscription service that is so difficult to cancel. I will say at least an email reminder is sent that my subscription will auto-renew. (Maybe that’s mandated?) That is where making it intuitive ends. There’s no link to manage your subscription nor go to quizlet in the email. Ok, I’ll let that go to the possibility that the makers of the email aren’t great at their job. So i perform the next step to open my quizlet app on my phone and enter into my account settings. I click on the very small fine print (nice play) at the bottom to cancel my subscription service. But wait, I’m not able to cancel my subscription. The message is hyperlinked, however, it brings me to the quizlet help center. I type in cancel subscription, but then it says I need to go to where I paid for the app. (I.e. google play, apple, or quizlet). The journey to cancel doesn’t end there, but my time writing this review does. Shrewd play quizlet. Very shrewd indeed...

Great app for studying. This app has been great in helping me study for my State Board test. It helps me to save time and money from having to write it out on index cards which is good for the planet as well. Win win! Also, because it’s on my phone, I have the convenience of studying from anywhere even if it’s just for a few mins. I absolutely love this app so far. The only thing I would ask the developers to change would be to add an “edit option button” while the users are going through the flash cards mode. Just in case we spelled something wrong or didn’t word things probably, it will give the user the option to correct that card versus going back out to the study set screen and then and then that will give you the option to edit and then searching for the card that you want to correct. It’s not easy searching through a study set that has over 50+ terms. It would just be more convenient for the user. Other than that, it’s an awesome app!

Great with one glaring, obnoxious (and easily fixed) flaw. Quizlet is a life-saver for studying, especially when in a crunch and you need to get terms down really fast. The app is simple and works really quickly and well. Quizlet Plus appears to be well worth the money, although I haven’t tried it so I don’t know. I like how it’s an option but the company doesn’t shove it down your throat all the time *coughGooglecough* But it has own glaring and super annoying flaw: the “I made a typo!” in Learn mode button is tiny!! It’s so easy to miss, and if you do miss it, there’s no going back — the algorithm thinks you don’t know that card for the rest of that Learn cycle. I really hate this, because it’s a huge waste of my time to go over a card that I know but just typed wrong. And it’d be a really easy fix; just use the same button as the “Check it” button and size it down a bit. The old Learn didn’t have this problem, just saying. And quick suggestion: it’d be really nice if we could follow other users to know when they made a new set.

It's meh.. Firstly: If you use a screen reader, you likely already know Quizlet has never been accessible on any platform whatsoever. But if you don't know, don't use the app. Use the web browser version if you have to and can, but if you somewhat use vision, you can use the app for class. The interface is awful on both, with or without a screen reader, but slightly less awful on browser if you use a screen reader. I'd go into detail, but if you use one you can find out without wasting my time. –– OTHER THAN THAT, if you have iPad, use that instead of the iPhone. Text size is a pretty wacky thing on Quizlet, so if you have medium-long words/phrases in your study set, you'll want a bugger screen because bigger text doesn't work out on the app or the web version. And now, unrelated to most of you reading: Since Quizlet's younger days. It became another feature downgraded cash grab. If it's worth it to you, no judgement there, but it won't stop me from criticizing an app that has you pay for a randomized study quiz and a badge by your name, compared to many other apps with similar subscription rates and more variety of useful features. This one is just one of few known studying apps, which is why it's worth it to people, whether they are happy about it or not. The app (Quizlet in general) is just limited in features, especially compared to what it used to be. But hey, maybe that's just because I'm blind and all this app ever says to me is "Button."

Review from a first year medical student. Quizlet is a great resource to use to study. I use it to rote learn, e.g. for things such as anatomy and physiology, basic facts and processes. It could be a bit better by allowing more flexibility with creating flash cards, instead of just having the term/definition format, but all in all it is very helpful and allows you to connect to other peoples’ flash cards on the same topics as yours.

Good for study especially if you write cards yourself. Love this app, especially the read aloud feature. Would be perfect with a feature where you could flag a card during study/flashcard mode to go back and fix after. Sometimes there is a mistake or misspelling or the card is in the wrong set and then I can’t find the card after !

Just really good. I used this to ace my Indonesian test. Since its so customisable, its a lot better than other teaching methods like OneNote and education perfect. You can use it for any amount of time. I highly recommend getting them first paid version so you can use it online. Overall really helpful when you need to study and memorise certain words quickly.

Top apps for learning languages. As title said. One little improvement is the ability to edit the flashcard straight from the Learn / Quiz section: sometimes I notice a mistake in the words/descriptions when doing a quiz/long term learning but it is so hard to track down the specific flashcard to fix.

Great for learning languages!. This is a really good app for language study because you can choose your language and it automatically gives you pronunciation. Would like to add pictures though - but I know that the company needs to earn money.

Great but.... I really like how the free features are really good but if you made the pro a one-time purchase I’d definitely get it however I’m going to stick with free if you keep it charging $2.50 a month. Even if you don’t want to do that, letting the free mode add pictures to flash cards adds several subjects I can’t use words to describe for the flash cards,

Money Grab, turned to the dark side. Apps great for learning in terms of strategies but it’s a complete money grab like what happened to helping students do well for free?! I now cannot - do more than 1 practice test on a set - do more than three rounds of learn So that now when I feel like a I have the hang of it I can’t learn it anymore and can only do flashcards. I spend more time getting mad at quizlet then learning terms because it’s virtually impossible with all the ads and *premium* features that I have to unlock to LEARN AND HAVE AN EDUCATION

Removed Only Good Mode. Quizlet was the sole reason I managed to learn and become fluent in Spanish thanks to it’s ‘write’ and ‘meteor’ modes. As they were so good I bought premium so that I could use my own images etc. For whatever reason they just removed them both with no explanation. Their ‘learn’ mode is useless as it has multiple choice questions and flash cards are worse still (for serious study). Will be seeking a competitor with the modes that they removed.

Used to love it. The app is a really really good study tool, especially for learning vocabulary for different languages. At school we put all the words we need for the unit and study them until they stick, but lately this has become much harder due to the new updates. In Learn, they only have one multiple choice and one spelling question before they deem that you master it. If you have recently had the question or fluke it, you can’t revise the same word before you finish the whole set. This means that students often forget the words without enough repetition. I have resorted to repeating Learn twice, or three times before I ‘actually’ learn the vocabulary. Because of that, I’m taking a star off.

Awesome but needs small improvements. Love this app. Few things though, ‘scan document’ button should be able to be accessed at any point when making a new study set. Sometimes my study sets are 100+ terms long and I have to scroll all the way to the top every time I want to add a new term from the document I scanned! Also wish I could see how many hours per day & week I spend studying, instead of just how many days in a row I’ve studied. Added aesthetic customisation would also be nice, the app colours are a bit dull. Regardless love the app enough to pay money for it but could do with some tweaks :)

Good App Until You Had To Pay For Features. Loved Quizlet and recommended it to everyone I knew until it started adding limitations in accessing some of Quizlet’s best modes. Particularly ‘Learn Mode’ and ‘Test’. Honestly, thinking of the audience their projecting this app towards, forcing students to pay a monthly fee could backfire upon them. Don’t mind the ads but blocking certain modes of learning (other than Flashcards) was a disappointing move. Will definitely be considering alternatives or even just sticking to paper and pen

Very useful study tool. Use flash cards all the time, bought pro for the image feature don’t need it however to utilise the app well. My only suggestion is subscript and superscript on the online editor.

Great just needs some refining. Always use this app and it has helped me tremendously! Some modifications that I think could help this app become 5 stars: - When editing flash card list, add an option to manually search for the term you want to edit. Presently very difficult to refine existing terms if you have a lengthy flash card list. - Be able to manually arrange flash card lists in a folder. If you have multiple units for a subject and a list for each, you are unable to organise them into chronological order within the folder which creates disorganisation - Be able to manually select multiple flashcards lists to revise together. Would help a lot with consolidation of linked topics.

Great but data entry is an issue.. For anything with complex definitions or answers this is a nightmare because you have to add them all in via the iPad rather than computer. Having it available on Mac would make it a lot easier to input large banks of questions I.e. my current need is for around 25 sets with at least 75 questions in each.

Was good, changed for the worse. I’ve loved quizlet and even been a plus member but recently they made changes to the learning mode that make it hard to track your progress and repetition of the terms weaker. Wish they would bring back where you could see how many cards you have left whilst studying and the old learning algorithm that showed you terms more before saying you’ve completed the set

Best app for students!. Being a full-time student, this app is perfect for me to study on the go! I can simply whip out my phone a run through a set or two whenever I have a moment to waste, and I love using it mid-commute to school. Cannot recommend this enough to anyone who needs an easy and efficient way to study.

Great for people who hate studying. I never studied, but when I got introduced to quizlet from my Japanese class, I started too. The quizlet app is amazing for learning languages, but I also use for my other subjects like science. I love that you can generate a test. But I don’t like how there are some many adds for quizlet pro. You don’t need it. Quizlet is fine with out it.

Money Hungry & Unethical. Quizlet has fallen so far from grace and so fast that it isn’t even funny. This app and website used to be the best way to study languages, memorise quotes and learn new skills for classes such as math. However, the introduction of disgusting and unacceptable pay walls has ultimately forced many to leave the app, myself includes. Even after creating your own set, YOUR OWN, you can only do one test and one run through of learn before you are FORCED to upgrade to premium in order to continue. These modes are essential and vital to learning and memorising curriculum and without them, the process becomes mundane and uninteresting. Quizlet needs to revert these changes before it is too late.

Cannot give it enough praise. Honestly I always use this app to study with when I need to remember my French or the definition of a science term. The ‘learn’ feature helps me the most. I also use the tests after I finish the learn feature although when I do my tests I tend to get rid of all the features except writing, and I also make it instant evaluation. Sorry if I’m rambling. I honestly didn’t think it was that good at the start but it’s really effective if you do the learn and test feature.

Best study tool for languages. Using it on the train on my way to school and using it to study for my Mandarin test later today I within like 40 minutes was able to memorise around 25 terms definitely a must have app

Brilliant. This has made absorbing terminology in particular much easier. Not only using exisiting study sets but creating my own has enabled me to digest information even more permanently. The tests and the match game has been particularly useful. Highly recommended to anyone studying!

Easy to make. This app is very good as I can just tap on it instead of searching it up on the internet. I can create folders to put all of my flash cards in there so it is easy and accessible and I can make as many as I want! Highly recommend 👍🏼

Everything is locked behind a paywall!!!!. Do not bother using Quizlet anymore. I used to love Quizlet. It was absolutely perfect for studying languages, and I recommended it to everyone I knew. Now they’ve locked away every single feature, except for flash cards, behind a paywall. Everything that used to be great about Quizlet is now completely inaccessible unless you’re willing to pay a monthly subscription. Which I can’t imagine most students have the budget to pay for! I used to recommend this app to everyone. Now I’m uninstalling it and won’t be using it again since it’s now become a glorified flash cards app. There are better (free) study options out there, and I can make my own flash cards.

Date of birth selection during signup is buggy. Was trying to signup and it told me to select my date of birth, but gave me nothing to select it, I had to retry four times for the tool to appear. Besides that it’s a great app but I can see people dropping it and trying something else if they’re impatient. Pls fix 💔

Works well but too many nags for payware. The free version constantly hassles you to upgrade to a payware version. The "study streaks" thing is puerile and stupid, please allow us to turn it off. Auto capitalisation of first character of input also v annoying! Apart from that the ability to create study sets and save them online is excellent and this is a very useful app. I use it for Indonesian.

A great app! Needs a little fix. I love this app, I use it for most of my studying and it helps me feel confident with the content I’m learning. However at the moment there’s a bug, when I’m in flash card mode and I flip the card, the other side is blank. I don’t know why this is, please fix this!

Best app ever!!. App helps me revise or learn my Japanese. I have very few minutes during the week due to sport to study. Quizlet helps me learn sentence structures and Japanese words in a matter of minutes. Best function of this app is learn and match. Learn helps you get on top of the structures or words. Match is a fun way to learn and you can vs your friends. Overall best app for learning a language or studying for any other subjects.

Really great! - but can be improved. I love how I can find my class, and the sets have already been created. It would be great to see an option where you could be tested on more than one set, as it is easy to recall the answers for a given set, but would be much more effective if tested on multiple at a given time.

Fix this. This is terrible me and my friend wanted to download this and we did while signing in it asked for my email and notifications it’s seems fine now but wait till you hear this someone hacked the app and ask questions about age and other irrelevant questions of her personal information (my friends information) I know right we new this wasn’t Quizlet because after it then started to ask her the real questions after we found out we deleted the app immediately

Great Useful App!. This app is incredibly easy to use because you can create study sets for anything you want plus it gives you an automatic definition! I got this app because I was studying for a math exam and haven’t looked back, I’ve been telling all my friends about it and it’s been helping all of us. Great app and I would recommend it to everyone 😁

Great app but could be even better. Adding the ability to easily share a card between multiple sets or to be able to copy and paste cards between sets would be amazing... e.g. learning a word/phrase for a language that you want to organise both by the lesson in the textbook as well as it’s usage in the language. “KITCHEN” could exist in the Lesson 5 set as well as a set for Places.

mostly great :D. as a high school student, i really enjoy using quizlet to revise and study for tests and such. it’s portable and fun to use, and the game modes (gravity, match) are great as an extra push. the app’s very battery draining on my phone, however. perhaps it’s because i’m using an older model (iphone 6s+) but it’s very frustrating, and i can’t revise terms on the go.

Very good. Do recommend for flash cards, simple and convenient. I use all the time’s of exams. Good interface. However, there’s an issue on my iPad Air 4. When I click options, I am unable to make the card orientation front, the ‘term’. The button does not work and is stuck on ‘definition’ which is very annoying. I have deleted the app, redownloaded it, logged out, restarted flash cards, restarted iPad but no fix. Please fix this issue. Much appreciated.

Quick and Easy Study. At school I found that if I am revising for a test, quizlet is my first choice. With quizlet, I can make my own study set, and revise it with numerous techniques. It really helps the information stick. If you are lazy and can’t make your own study set, there are tons of free to use sets on the internet. You can verse you friends, set up a class and more. The possibilities are endless with quizlet.

Best Study App. This app has really helped me study for tests. Even though I only got it a couple of days ago, I studied for my Science Test and I was having a hard time memorising stuff before I got this app. There are mini practice tests and I get 100% when I do them now! Highly recommended this for students who want to study effectively. Only con is that some features cost money but I’ve been doing fine without them.

Amazing app, has helped me with my studies os much!. This is an awesome app and has helped me passed all my high school tests. It has so many mode that you can choose to customise your learning. You can follow other people and do the quizzes or you can make your own. Has everything from flashcards to practise tests.

Good, but.... Quizlet is a very helpful flash cards app and I’ve used it for tests, exams and personal use. The design is clean and it runs smoothly for the most part. You can use other people’s card decks or create your own, and you can edit your profile. Even without premium, it’s easy and useful to use. It also has dark mode, which is great. My only wish is that you could use your own decks offline. It’s pretty annoying that I can’t access the decks I spent 10+ minutes creating to study without WiFi, especially when I have a test or exam coming up. Other than that, though, I definitely recommend Quizlet for school or personal use. There are some interesting decks made by other people, maybe you’ll learn something new.

FIX YOUR BAD BUGS. I’ve been using Quizlet for 4 years with no problems. 2 months ago I started getting random terms that I’d never inputted to my flash cards. After many emails I was told the problem was complicated and they had no idea when they would be able to fix it. I’ve spoken to other students not studying the same subjects and they are having the same issues, so it’s global. We all payed for the full version. Really not good enough and I would avoid getting this app until they fix the issues. It’s pretty useless as a study aid if you can’t trust the answers when you do Tests with this app.

Quizlet honest review: High schooler perspective. It is so great that’s if free So helpful with all the different study methods for different learning styles There are little ads (maybe 1 or 2 per 1/2 hour) It is really easy to create your own study set since if you write in the word it gives you suggestions on the definition which can save a lot of time Bottom line: highly recommend this app to all students from high school to college!

Why did you remove Write mode?. I love using Quizlet for my studies - I am currently studying Spanish and Indonesian using the Quizlet app. However, the main component of my practice was often the Written mode, where you would have to type out each translation correctly twice in a row to finish each individual word. This really helps for when I’d like to regularly practice vocabulary that I’m just trying to brush up on. Making it a subset of Learn mode was a terrible idea, and makes me choose between structured palm-card-to-writing learning OR the writing practice that helps me commit words I studied a few weeks or days ago to memory. I don’t want to have to make this choice, and nor should I have to. I really hope you reverse this change as soon as possible, as it makes my learning much harder.

Quizlet. I'm very pleased with what you guys have produced and the final product due to it has helped me in the past. But I would like to request one thing that should be added to this app. Where I can match the same synonyms or pictures. Overall, Quizlet is my number one study app and I wish to continue to use this in the future. ~ Jasmine Thanh Thuc Nguyen.

Not letting me change the "front" of the flashcard. Great app and useful for studying, but (on the iPad at least) for some reason I'm not able to change the orientation of my flashcard. The option appears when I'm in flashcard mode and click on options, but when I try and actually change it nothing happens. This is quite frustrating as it makes a large number of my flashcards unusable.

Great. Overall, Quizlet has really helped me to study things over the years. It is much simpler and way more satisfying to create digital flash cards to revise with. The match feature inspires you to learn the definitions while having fun and competing with friends. Absolutely the best study app out there. 100/5 stars rating.

Great study tool. Very affordable, love that you can download sets as I live in an area where internet/service is sparse. Good improvements over time. The only thing I would like changed at the moment is to set the term/definition permanently. I can set it for the set currently in use but it reverts to default once the set is done or the app is closed.

Great app but could use one major improvement (audio insert). This app is great as it has many amazing features but for language learners listening to a word using audio files is extremely important. Unfortunately this feature is only available for Quizlet on a computer which is a shame for those who do not have access. This would improve learning efficiently as it is a vital skill to have for learning languages and other topics.

Student perspective. I love this app, wished I would’ve used it sooner for my studies. Obviously you can write out your own flash cards etc but the convenience of having it on the go is just too efficient. I use quizlet to not forget what I learn in my subjects. If you don’t know active recall and spaced learning is the greatest way to study, I legit have been doing it 4 weeks out from externals and yea shoulda done it earlier. But quizlet allows me to practice active recall and space it out. 100% recommend any student or person that wants an aid in learning, and the best part about it is that it’s 100% free, apart from the bonus features... Though where I can see improvements for the platform would be: 1) better arrangement of the sets you create BASED upon an active recall and spaced learning system. Atomi does this well, but it’s like when you complete a set, you get notifications for when you haven’t done it in a while etc and basic methods of daily reminder, to weekly and so on... would take more algorithms and heavy coding I imagine but aye that’s ultimate value I see it this

Used to be great. I used to love this app. It was different from all the other flashcard apps with its spelling and writing modes, but now those are locked behind an expensive premium subscription that many students just can’t afford. What’s the difference now between this app and any other flashcards app? I hope this is changed soon.

Extraordinarily Easy to use, highly customisable.. Creating your own sets, especially if cutting and pasting from source material, takes seconds. Combined with a variety of learning methods and excellent voice content makes this an outstanding language tool for creating what YOU want to learn, not just relying on generic material.

Need more formatting options. Quizlet is good, I don’t mind spending $70 for a yearly subscription but there are 2 things that are holding me back: 1/ Most of the time I would like my cards to be more colourful, learning will be much easier this way, not just plain black text with a few highlight colours, looks boring to me. 2/ Images, I want to add more than one images to my cards, since ea card only allow one. To save time. I have a habit of taking screenshots of the questions and definitions so it would be extremely useful if Quizlet let me add images to both the front and back of the card.

Student’s view. this app is so efficient and amazing, I could go on all day about how good it is! It’s saved me so many times from failing tests and it’s so easy to use. First of all, it’s free! There are so many expensive paid student apps that are useless but this app is free and it’s amazing!!! Anytime I get notified that I have a test coming up on a certain subject then I can go onto quizlet and take quick quizzes on the subject or make my own custom one, it’s so good because the app keeps on pushing you to get 100% accuracy and thats what a love about this app! it should also be said that this app will not make you yawn! its not boring, there's so many different platforms within this one app to suit different people, for example, flash cards, writing, multiple choice, etc. Also....this app works for all students and especially high school & college students! please just trust me, take my advice and give it your best.

Money. This was my favourite study app because it was free and I couldn’t find anything else that was free. Now you’re charging $45/year for it? We’re students, we don’t have enough money to waste almost $50 per year on an app like this.

Disappointed. I used to really love this app, and though I still use it, I miss the diverse options that we had as methods of studying. They made it fun and was able to be tested in fun and diverse ways, challenging you to think better. Now, all I can access are flash cards for free, which is massively disappointing. I don’t understand why an app that was initially free, I imagine to benefit and help people who were studying, suddenly made it to having to pay to do most things the moment that this app starting gathering more people. I know that money is important and very helpful, but it just sucks because it feels like the mindset is no longer, “let’s make studying easier and more accessible to everybody” to “people are using my app! You imagine all the money I could make?” It’s just disappointing I guess.

Unrealistic learning options. Only 5 free rounds/set of learning. No point of having an account without a subscription which is extremely overpriced.

Expensive. This app used to be so amazing and helpful because it was free and now it doesn’t let me do anything anymore unless I get premium. Such a shame!

Add space repetition. Please spaced repetition in the option it will be great!

Was a great app but…. I completely understand Quizlet trying to monetize everything, however it has gotten to the point where the app is useless for the everyday user. Over time, they have taken away features that used to be completely free and made them a “premium feature.” I can understand this to a certain extent, but not when almost every single feature on this app is monetized. After 4+ years of using Quizlet as a main study source and raving about it, I’m sad to say I’ll be finding other studying platforms.

Why. I loved quizlet and used it often for school, but now even the simple "learn" feature has been hidden behind a paywall. so annoyed by this

Amazing app for learning and studying. As someone who struggles with ADD, I personally think that this app is great for learning a topic and studying for tests and exams. As an added bonus, not much is locked behind Quizlet Plus, making it much easier to get everything done. Creating study sets is also very easy. Would highly recommend to anyone in grade school to high school.

APP IS NOT FUN ENOUGH. this app is boring but also good! Good is cause it helps me learn fast. Bad cause no fun games

Premium ruined Quizlet. This has EA levels of greed. Like I’m trying to study for a vocab test and I can only take one test and use the learn option for about 5 rounds. This is some bull

Would not recommend.. I spent around an hour making multiple sets and then when I finished them then one would delete and would say error, object cannot be found, whenever I did anything (tried to access a folder, make flash cards, open flash cards, use flash cards, do quizzes, etc) I am only giving this five stars so that it appears at the top of the reviews, scroll way back into the reviews and most of them are negative, I am still going to try and use it for the night because I have a test tomorrow but I’m deleting it right after, it is very glitchy. This is just my experience though so it might be compatible on your phone or iPad but for my iPad it is trash.

Glitch. Supper glitchy, DO NOT RECOMMEND. The app itself is great if you’re willing to spend 45$ but if not don’t bother, would have continued using if not for the glitches throwing me out every two seconds. Please get this fixed.

My whole program is in flash cards now!!. This app has revolutionized my studying habits! Me and my roommates all take turns converting the days lecture power points into flash cards. We now have 3 full semesters of cards for every class, and they are all accessible no matter where we are! I believe that the process of making questions out of lecture content and reviewing the cards is one of the most effective ways to study. I would also recommend upgrading to the plus version solely for the ability to add your own pictures from lectures/classes

Issue with flash cards. Flash cards with photos have distorted text

No free tests. Quizlet used to be so good and help me so much but now they got rid of free tests and learn so all I can use is flashcards which is useless for me. I do not want to pay $45 to use quizlet.

BRING BACK FREE TESTS. I used to love this app but paying to study is getting ridiculous

Deleted my old quizlets 😞. I’ve had this app for 3+ years now, and I go to check it today and all of my past study sets that I’ve made (and still use) have been deleted.

Learn mode is no longer free. Learn mode, the reason that most people use Quizlet for is now locked behind a paywall. Highly recommend giving them a 1* rating for that 👎

App is crashing. I spent the $50 for the year for the app and it was worth it, this app has absolutely saved my life when it has come to test, however using the app again today to study for finals, the app is crashing every 2 minutes. Making difficult and a little bit frustrating when using the app, if this problem could be looked at this would be appreciated, Note this is the first time this has happened. January 18, 2024.

$50 for a year???. pls i just want to study for my nursing midterm why am i paying money for access to this app FOR A YEAR. i’m not even in school for an entire year. and i need it for the rest of the semester so i dont want to waste bucks on just one month either. #bringbackfreequizlet

Good for memorizing. Probably one of the fastest ways to memorize information, flash cards and practice tests are great but wish there was no limit. You have to pay for more than one test :(

It used to be so nice 🫤. Where is the diagram feature gone?It was the most useful tool!!!

Pointless unless you pay. Was my favourite app for studying when I have a ton of definitions, but now you have to pay to use features that used to be free. The learn feature was the best and actually helped me but now you only get 5 rounds before they lock the feature and tell you to upgrade. Feels like such a scam now and it’s really disappointing.

Sex. I’m am very horny while I study

Does not run on an IPod 5 iOS 9.3.5. I love using quizlet online but when I downloaded it on my iPod 5, it will not open. It stays on the opening page and then seems to crash and sends me back to my homescreen. Had to delete it. (I am running iOS 9.3.5 which is supposed to be compatible with the app)

Greedy. we have to pay to learn now😭

EVERY TIME I MAKE A NEW FLASH CARD THE CONTENTS OF THE PREVIOUS ONE DELETES. THERES A GLITCH OR SOMETHING AND EVERY TIME I MAKE A NEW CARD BY CLICKING TAB, THE PREVIOUS CARD’S CONTENTS ERASES? ALSO SOMETIMES WHEN I LEAVE A SET AND COME BACK SOME OF MY CARDS ARE MISSING CONTENT. PLS FIX I HIGHLY DEPEND ON THIS APP FOR STUDYING

Bring back free Quizlet. Loved this app when it was free. Absolutely not worth a $50 subscription.

Money. This was a great app because it was free and easy to use. I am very disappointed with the new update cause I no longer have an app like this that is free.

Good. It’s great, I like the online flash cards, but it still needs a few adjustments. Some learning games maybe? Those help loads of people study.

50 bucks is a scam. This isn’t fair to us students. We don’t have a lot of money and we already have bills to pay.

Content. More content more questions

800 cue cards ….. gone. I signed in one day to see that over 800 cue cards had disappeared. The support team was no help either. Used Google documents instead

?????!!!!!. This new update it’s screwing everything up? I hate how the entire page gets filled up to put your definitions/terms. And on top of that sometimes the terms appear in the definitions and the definitions appear in the terms ?????? What the actual heck man?????? FIX ASAP i have 2 midterms I’m prepping for for next week, i need this fixed. I’m so stressed, and this app screwing up is the last thing i need rn

Paying for the app. This app used to be amazing. I would study worry free not having to pay a dime and knowing i have a reliable source to covert to, to not worry about stressing over my tests. But ever since Quizlet decided to have people pay to use this app. People would have to resort to find another study method but it doesn’t work efficiently like what Quizlet had done for us in the past. Some people don’t have jobs to pay for this and others don’t have parents to pay for things like this which puts the person needing to study in a difficult situation. Especially junior high and high school students.

Hate whatever they did with this update. I haven’t gone on it since spring , but they’re update is annoying and keeps messing up my notes. It is now an inconvenience

Blocking most of the studying features behind a paywall.. This move is useless and quite frankly self destructive by the developers. You already have ads up for most of the app. Restricting students trying to learn with a paywall has lost you a lot of users, as not everyone has the money to spare on a subscription. Especially not students. For the people reading reviews, use Anki instead.

Great!!. Great to study

Add a search filter to find words in a study set. Pls

Quizlet Falls into Greed. Quizlet used to be an amazing app that would help students study for free. Now, all the useful features are locked behind a paywall. What a tragic end to such a useful app. Do not give this greedy company your money.

App is crashing. Usually this app is really good, but now when I’m making flashcards the app crashes and deletes the definition of the term that I’m working on at the time of the crash. It doesn’t delete previous terms, thankfully, but it’s frustrating to have to continuously retype definitions due to an app malfunction.

Disappointed. I do not understand why the acces to the learning and testing is only granted to those who have the payed version. This app used to my highly recommended app and I loved it. Now I am no so much in agreement. Disappointed.

Great app. I’m just chilling with my dad black but I think he is going crazy right away so he can come over but he doesn’t hurt him but I like you can do you have aids do that mean you can get it done with him if he doesn’t hurt him and I feel lonely and I feel love him but I’m not going to be a part of the story is that the government is a good idea to have a good day and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the best out of the office and I am not sure if I can get a chance to get the

Buggy. I spent 3 hours making over 100 flash cards that ended up erasing themselves after I checked back. I thought I wouldn’t have to worry about my work disappearing but boy was I wrong. Sucks that I have a test tomorrow and I relied on this to help me review my notes. Should’ve just did them on microsoft word...

Review. I wish I could take more tests and more learning things without having to get quizlet. Plus. Otherwise pretty good

PLEASE READ. this is a great app BUT I have a lot of flash cards and I want to search for my flash card that I have. Please add a search bar

Newest IOS Update Breaks The Text!. So, I just updated my iPhone and iPad with IOS 17 and now the text and pictures on my Quizlet flashcards are 1) not showing or 2) cut off or 3) really small. Could you guys please fix this ASAP? Exams are coming up and this glitch is not helping. :’) Thanks!

Pay 4 everything. This used to be great but they changed n now u gotta get a subscription to even use the app properly

Learn mode is not functioning as it used to (3 months ago). 3 months ago (aka fall semester) when I was quizlet, everything was fine, but now the learn mode is not functioning as it used to. Before the learn mode would make me go through the entire deck or the star questions I had selected, even if they were mastered. It would give me a few questions each round, make me redo the ones I got wrong, and have those wrong questions pop up in the next round. Then at the end of the round, it would tell me I have x completed questions / x total questions. It was perfect. I could review the questions I wanted, even if they were mastered, still learning, or not studied. But now, it changed. I’m not sure if it’s a bug or just a really bad update, but now it won’t let me learn (or I guess, relearn) the questions I have already mastered so it will keep popping up the same few questions, and end the whole thing WITHOUT making me go through the entire set or selected star set no more. So, I can’t review my already “mastered” cards, and resetting the progress isn’t a fix for me either since I have a system where I learn 5 cards till 20, then review all the 20. It wasn’t like this 3 months ago, so I’m not sure what’s really going on. I would love an explanation or some feedback on if this issue will be resolved or if it’s just an update that I have to get used to. If so, I’m not sure what i’ll do since I love quizlet and use it for every test I have.

Quizlet & “Magic Notes”. This review is specific to “Magic Notes” - I have been using Quizlet for 2 years now and am pleased however I was thrilled to see the addition of “Magic Notes” & the ability to create quizzes & tests for you. I have downloaded several medical summaries (I am a nursing student) as I had hoped that “Magic Notes” would be more succinct than I am - while it is, it is not “picking up” some of the most important points (& yes, I asked for a more thorough summation) - while I think it’s a good starting point you should not depend upon them to incorporate essential information - also of note, “Magic Notes” seems to have problems with “reading” numbers - sadly, it incorrectly noted numbers on a question that was included in my summation and it also did not ask the question as it appeared in the text and left a major portion out - It’s a good start but don’t rely on it to summarize anything for you & double check numbers.

Thankyou

Please fix.

So disappointed in this app now. I used to LOVE this app and recommend it to EVERYONE! As of March 1, 2020, the long term learning feature (which is still advertised on the website) has been removed. What an incredibly terrible move on the developer. That was the BEST thing about this app. I pay for the subscription and now it’s just an entire WASTE of money. I am INCREDIBLY disappointed that you have removed the long term learning feature. I used to recommend this app to all of my coworkers and COA friends and colleagues. I will no longer do that. I have created close to 60 sets in this app and have relied heavily on the long term learning feature to help me pass my COA exam. Taking that feature away has made me incredibly disappointed and I am seeking a new app to use instead. The fact that my subscription has been renewed is just another blow to my already disappointed feelings.

Read this review if you want to know if this app is worth it!. If your looking to download an app to help you study, then this is for you.. but just know there are some things that are bugging a lot of people. For instance, if you have FREE Quizlet then you CAN NOT take more than one practice test , you also have limited chats with your ai, and so on. But if you have QUIZLET PLUS ( you need to pay for this btw) then you can access more things such as more chats with your ai, more practice tests, etc. I think the only reason people are annoyed with this app is because it ISNT free. Quizlet over all in my opinion would be better if it was completely free for all the extra stuff but other wise this is a great app for studying. But if you are willing to pay for extra stuff, then this app is phenomenal. I hope this review clears it up for you guys!

Quit pushing quizlet plus down our throats. I used to LOVE quizlet. It was easy to use, even fun. But then they started pushing quizlet plus. Okay I get it, you want to make extra money. And that’s fine. But don’t limit certain things and risk people’s education just for more cash. Everything used to be free. Then they added the ads. Which personally, I don’t MIND the ads. Then they added the personalization for quizlet plus. Which I don’t mind that either. If people want extra help, they should get it. But quizlet plus is expensive. I don’t have the money to pay for that. And I prefer using the regular version of quizlet anyway. But now you’re not even letting people study just so y’all can make extra bucks. What’s the saying? You catch more flies with honey. Let people use your stuff for free then offer better stuff for quizlet plus. Some people will love it so much that they’ll pay for it. Eventually if you limit too much, people are just going to quit using quizlet all together. Then that’s money that you’ve lost. Do better. Quit forcing people to pay

Thank Goodness for Quizlet. This app has helped me so much. I used it for Spanish, Chem, Bio... Basically everything. It’s easy to use, and the free version offers everything you need. This app isn’t magic, you still have to work hard to memorize things. However, it does offer some magical resources. It’ll read your cards out loud so you practice hearing the word (which is better than just reading it, from a language learning perspective). The little games and quizzes that this app creates using the content of your flashcards are fun. Also, you can browse other people’s flash card sets to save time. Sometimes simple topics such as “colors in Spanish” or “strong acids” are already well built by other quizlet users, if they choose to share them. I recommend this app to all students or anyone learning something new. I am also grateful that the folks at quizlet offer such an incredible resource for free. They are a cool organization.

This helps a lot!. I started using this app ever since one of my teachers showed us the website. This app does help me a lot, it has helped me study and actually pass a whole lot of my tests. This is the only time I actually ever took the time and studied. I never studied up until now. I hate having to look through my notes and trying to make myself memorize things and having this app makes things a whole lot easier and a bit more fun. I love the fact that after you study it gives you a practice test to see how well you improved from the beginning. Also how it has different types of answering methods as in, typing, true or false, and clicking on the right answer. Overall, I am most likely going to use this all through high school :) if you think you want to use this app, please do! If you’re like me and hate studying and just like copying stuff instead, just get this app. It helps a lot and is super worth the time :)

Quizlet was the best studying tool now…. I have been using Quizlet for about 5 years now throughout my school career. Quizlet *WAS* amazing… but now, You basically need Quizlet Plus to do everything. You only get 5 rounds of the learn mode per study set (this is only 20 terms) and 1 practice test. For me, I can’t even finish **HALF** a study set. So how am I supposed to study??? I didn’t care when Quizlet added ads but now not being able to study, now that’s way to far. So now I cannot even use this app to study. Your marketing team must’ve had zero functioning brain cells to think it was a good idea to block almost every single student with a unnecessary paywall. Instead of making what made Quizlet the best studying tool requiring a subscription how bout you make the premium features better instead of blocking out almost all of your users. 👏👏Well done Quizlet you ruined your whole app over wanting more money. I hope your happy when you lose a lot of your users over being greedy. I’m never using this app again.

Best flashcard service. I have used Quizlet for many years and it has been the key to my success in learning German, SerboCroatian, Albanina, and now Spanish. It is an amazing resource and I would highly recommend it. That being said, I wish it was easier to switch the direction of cards and move cards from set to set. When I have a long list of vocab words to learn, I like to split them into sets of 15 cards because I find it easiest to study no more than 15 new words at a time. Sometimes I end up with 30 words in a set and I would like to split them into two new sets, but there is no way to divide a set on Quizlet. Sometimes I also mix up the term and definition when entering new words and I wish there was an easy way to switch them. Other than those two issues, quizlet is a wonderful app with a great website that I would highly recommend to every learner.

It’s alright.. I used to absolutely love this app I would give it 5 stars until the update. The fact I have to pay to study which I don’t understand because if I wanna keep learning terms I can’t because I have to pay to use more than 5 rounds. I’m not seeing the point of the app anymore since they limit your studying abilities. This is a great app but it’s even greater when you pay for it and actually can study what you need. Saying that it’s a studying app is kind of unbelievable to me as someone who gets tested on 10-20+ terms normally I can’t study all of them because I would have to pay to go through them all in the learning stage. Personally I want it to go back to normal where there were adds occasionally that kept it free for students like me. That way I could study to my full ability. I’m still using this app because it does help but I do have to put in some extra effort in trying to fit them all in. Wish things would go back to how it was but for now it’s a 3/5 for me.

Stop advertising features that I’ll never see again. I’ve paid for quizlet plus for 5 years now. All of my years of college thus far are stored here, so I plan to finish my next 2 years of grad school with it. However, I feel like it has become an incredibly gimmicky cash grab in the last several years. I’m continuously being shown new features that I get super excited about, only to never see them again after that. I saw that they had a new spaced repetition feature that I was pumped to use, never saw it again, can’t find any info about it anywhere. I was also shown a new “brain beats” AI generated song feature that was really cool, but when I went back to play the song from my card set, there was no song, and nothing about this feature in the help articles or on Google. If you’re going to advertise a new feature when I open the app/website, at least make sure they work or are accessible. I’ve given quizlet a lot of money over the years and it’s disappointing to see that the money hasn’t gone to good use.

Decent but I wish it had more features. I've always used the free version of the app and never had many problems. The ads aren't too annoying and it has the basic features to get the job done. I have it on all my devices but primarily use it on my iPad. One criticism I have however, is that I wish there was a way to reorganize folders, sets in a folder, and individual terms in each set (for mobile at least.) I like to keep things orderly and found that this was a problem. Whenever I would add a new set to a folder and it wasn't in the "specific order" I wanted I would either have to 1. create a new folder and re-add all the sets, or 2. remove / add sets until it was re-organized. The same for the folders too. If they added this feature it would save a lot of time, other than that I think it works fine. I've used it for Mandarin, Spanish, vocabulary terms, grammar rules, you name it.

plus not working..?. I’ve had the plus version for the last 2 years, but when I logged on a few weeks ago to start studying again, I no longer had plus. I went to the settings and it said my subscription was set to renew sept 4, but it is not oct 7 and it has not renewed. I have also tried clicking the button to keep my features but that leads nowhere. After looking at the info pages I think the price changed and maybe that’s why it doesn’t work? That being said, I loved having plus as I used quizlet often to study plant identification and uploading my own photos was very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone who uses quizlet regularly who would like more features and is able to pay for it. However, I don’t appreciate that every option except for flash cards and match have been put behind the paywall. The flash cards feature is useless for me personally when studying almost everything, and the match feature is only reasonable to use for a small study set imo.

Too Expensive. I don’t understand why most features on Quizlet are now locked behind a paywall. This app should have free features since most students do not have the money to pay for extra features. I have used this app for years and it’s helped me so much to pass all of my exams. As an older student, I have even had the money to pay for the subscription (about a year ago) back when the features locked behind a paywall we’re not necessary for studying, like removing ads or being able to put custom pictures on your sets. Now all the features that people NEED to study have to be paid for like Learn mode and Test mode. I’m going to move to another service because I can’t support a company that is so unfair towards students. When a service is key to making education better for everyone, I believe it is unfair to charge money for that service. I suggest that Quizlet goes back to the way it was before: with the basic features being free and everything that is “extra” being a paid feature.

Super helpful. I use Quizlet every day, and it’s been very helpful in learning my material. However, here are a few notes: - I wish there was a way to default the question types and how you answer (Term or definition) for each set of flash cards; it’s just another task to do to set up before each round of Learning a new set - I would find it helpful to be able to edit a flashcard while you’re studying it, so if I find a typo or realize a fact is incorrect, I can correct it right then and there instead of exiting the Learn, then scrolling to find that specific card - It’s nice when you get the answer wrong and it pauses for you to read which was correct and which was wrong. However, when you get it right, there is no pause, and it’d be helpful if there was one so when I guess for an answer and by chance it’s right, I can reason it out at least by looking at what I chose instead of it automatically moving on without me having a second to think about it - I have to verify this, but sometimes when I’m first making a set on my laptop and leave it without clicking ‘Create Set,’ if I go on my commute and review on my phone, the set is unable to be studied. At least keep it in my drafts to access or something, even if it’s a first time making it (I’m not sure if this always happens, but if it does, please fix). It’s a small mistake to not click ‘Create Set’ then for a whole hour and a half commute to be wasted, for my case Overall a very helpful app.

“Write” learning method now gone. A subscriber here devastated by the recent update. The developer just removed the “write” feature which was by far the most effective and favored method of learning in the app for lots of students preparing exams in certain industries. I always began with “learn” feature and then moved on to “write” to really nail down my memory before topping off with “test.” Yet, the most substantial feature was “write.” That’s the bread and butter of the app. Do the developers know how many users are using their app? I dont know. The “Write” feature of Quizlet was a differentiator, a unique offering only found in Quizlet. It was a well designed feature. Why did they remove it? I think Quizlet’s usefulness just plummeted for many students in some fields, as well as its competitive edge by removing such well thought out feature.

Pretty good, but not exceptional. For the core engine of crafting flash cards and then studying then this app is straight-forward and very effective. As part of new language study I have using it effectively for 8 months. The gamified learning modes feel crude and quickly become boring. And the gamified modes won’t stop nagging me to play collaboratively with others. That is never an option for me, and the nagging is annoying. They send learning reminders which are broken for some people. After contacting support, the developer said the issue related to their system being designed assume English language means I am North American time zone. (I am in Central Europe time zone.) They said there was no way to recognize or set a time zone preference. It is annoying because for instance today I got an email congratulating me on a 31 day study streak, and then too hours later an email saying my 31-day study streak was in danger if I didn’t study. Uhm. They also have some other rough edges. Don’t edit a large (2000) card deck in a web browser. The performance is nearly unusable. And glitches have occasionally dropped photos on a card because I changed something else in the set. I neglected to mention the collaboration allowed me to easily find sets written by others. They usually need editing, but it has greatly accelerated my learning by leveraging the work of others.

iOS 13.1 Issues and a Note On How Quickly It Was Fixed. I just updated my phone today and when I want on Quizlet to make a set I found that when I typed in the term and definition and then saved the set that it would replace my term with my definition and the definition would still be in the definition spot. For clarification it looked as if I had typed the definition in both the term place and the definition place. I have never had this problem in the 2 years I have used Quizlet until I updated my phone to to iOS 13.1. I love this app and hope this can be fixed. (EDIT: I emailed Quizlet, received a quick response, and in a matter of days my problem was fixed! I have always told people about this app, but now I recommend it more than ever for the clear dedication that the people of Quizlet show to their mission and customers!)

Update ideas- a message to the app creators. I love quizlet so much and I use it on the regular for my graduate pharmacy program. It has reshaped how I “learn” my exam material. Quotations on the learn because the learn feature of quizlet is so incredible. Last year I took the leap and became a quizlet plus member. So worth it! I appreciated the updates recently that provided the highlight feature with the three shades of colors. I have always struggled with the fact that quizlet is not bullet friendly. I really think that a future update should provide users the ability to add bullets to the definition box, so that terms with multiple definitions can be adequately added to the flash card. It would be great if this option allowed for numbers and bullets. Many times I am memorizing terms with 4 distinct definitions and I am forced to manually add them in as 1), 2) 3). It is very frustrating to me so any additional bullet option, however minimal, would be much appreciated. Another thing that I really have always wanted was more color options. In real life I like to use colorful flash cards because it helps me better my ability to categorize the information. The addition of the three colors has been so impactful to me for that reason. What I wish for the future of quizlet is more customizable features. I would love to be able to change the color of the font and the color of the actual card. Thanks for a great app!!!

A paywall? Seriously? Talk about foul play.. I've been using Quizlet all through high school and college, and it helped me SO MUCH! The Learn feature was amazing, and it really helped me to internalize my vocabulary! And now to find that I can only do five rounds for free? Come on, people. That's absolutely ridiculous. Quizlet's primary user base is made up of high school and college students. STUDENTS. Students don't always have much money to spare on a subscription, and even if they do, they would probably rather save it towards tuition and general living expenses. Quizlet is an amazing study tool that's really helped me, but locking everything that makes it great behind a (monthly) paywall defeats the purpose of all that, making it less accessible to struggling students (and honestly just students in general). And the thing is, these features like Learn used to be completely free. It's not fair to struggling students to--more than limit--TAKE AWAY their accessibility to common educational tools, especially when they could have access to it before. Seriously. This decision is going to backfire dramatically. Please reconsider.

It was great to use and they respect your money. So I have to say I downloaded it ti study for work training. It was perfect because you can build your own study cards but also you can find some that people already created on the topic or even for the same job or bar exam. Very easy to use and effective. Anyway I forgot to cancel when done and when I was (several months later) deleting the app it offered me to cancel subscription! Like it prompted me to! While obviously yi can’t get my money back and I forgot I had it… it’s nice that this happened instead of them still taking my money long after me deleting the app. I truly respect that. Especially because a lot of subscription services just take you money as long as they can. It’s an honest service and I think that’s rare and amazing nowadays. Highly recommend

New Features are Terrible. I only use quizlet because I have yet to find a better application, but when I do find that application, I will make sure to use it the same way I remember using quizlet. I am currently in college and saw quizlet as a great way to study my material and excel in my courses. This has all come to a halt since it seems you all care more about making money than providing a service. The fact I cannot learn or test myself on my flash cards as much as I need for a test without paying out of pocket is so frustrating because I’m already a student and have to pay for my classes and materials for them, so I am already less inclined to buy additional services not required by them. This new update has effectively killed this application and has led to me and other students who saw quizlet as a helpful extension to their studies, to find an application that is not only effective academically but also financially. Make this app free to use again and stop putting up additional paywalls that only damages your user base, NOT help them.

Used to be better.. I can’t tell you how many times Quizlet has helped me ace tests, quizzes etc. ITS AMAZING. Well, used to be. Quizlet is still awesome, however, it’s not free anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I completely understand, the company has to make money. Although, I can’t even fully access material my teacher has posted on her classroom, on Quizlet, because I only can use the flash cards. This is frustrating. A lot of schools use Quizlet as a main resource for their teachers to post class material, but it’s not as accessible anymore, considering Quizlet is no longer free. I can’t even make flash cards like I used to. Again, totally get Quizlet needs to make money, but can’t there be another way without charging the students who are simply trying to get through school? Quizlet would usually deserve a five star, but right now, it is pretty much a three or four. We miss the old quizlet!!

Amazing!. I heard of Quizlet from one of my teachers freshman year in high school. She would make some for our tests and quizzes and it was a lifesaver let me tell you! I am the type of person who needs brain stimulation and game-like systems to be able to study most efficiently (I can’t just look at a sheet of paper hours on end to be able to memorize things.) I love how the free version offers so many different options and ways to study. There is one that does flash cards, practice tests, multiple choice, written answers, etc. I also love the fact that you can star the ones you need more help on and it’ll save it for later to study individually. Also, it has an option to verbally read aloud the questions and answers for those who need verbal repetition to learn. 5 stars for Quizlet - make sure to check it out because it’s totally worth it. It has saved me so many grades and I make sure to make some for every test or quiz.

Gem of an app but needs some features. Really hope devs pay attention to my comment. First, thanks a lot, I mean A LOT for this gem of an app. Studying Korean now and it helps tremendously. I went through almost all of AppStore and found just two word apps that work for me (Quizlet being one of those). Second, I’d be very happy if you could implement three more features, it would improve my user experience a lot. 1) moving words btw lists/sets. Currently you can only delete the word in one set and re-enter it again, which is very time-consuming and annoying 2) star/ unstar words on the go when swiping through cards. Starring helps a lot, but often I don’t need a word starred anymore, so I have to go back to the list, find that word and unstar.. argh! Also, would be nice to have an option (somewhere in the settings) to make all the new words starred. E.g. I star all the words I have problem remembering (and new ones) and unstar those when im done learning. 3) edit words on the go when swiping through cards. Sometimes I find out that I entered the word incorrectly and want to correct it but again I have to exit card mode, go find that one list, then find the word in this looooong list and edit it. Then go back to card mode. Very annoying:) I’d be very happy if you considered these requests. Thanks a lot!

One of the Best, If not the Best, Study Help/Flashcard App. I’ve tried many different types of apps on the computer, on a smart phone, and on a tablet. By far, Quizlet is far and above the majority out there. I’m learning Korean. I’m able to assign the term I need to learn to Korean and the “definition” to English. Not only is the app intuitive enough it’s able to “suggest” possible word(s) that are in Korean, for the “definition” it is able to correctly suggest the translation in English. Then when I’m studying the flash card set, it correctly pronounces the words in Korean. I use Duolingo and Drops as aides to help me learn Korean. Both of these apps, which are way to learn different language, have errors with pronunciation in Korean. I’ve yet to hear a Korean word incorrectly pronounced. Quizlet is by far at the top of it’s class and I’d recommend anyone to use it.

I love Quizlet, but having no autocorrect is definitely a con to this amazing app. Quizlet is amazing, but I have a problem with the test function. When I finish studying and go to take a practice test, if I have one typo in the answer, then it counts it wrong. For instance, say I’m studying for a math test, and the definition of dimensional analysis comes up, but I accidentally leave out one letter and spell it “dimensionl analysis”. I knew what the answer was, but I still got it wrong because I left out the “a”. I don’t know if there is a way to fix this, but it’s a pain to go back and make sure that I spelled everything right before I submit the answer. I still love the app, but for me, I can’t stand that spelling counts on the test because I wouldn’t be able to type anything without autocorrect. The autocorrect function is disabled when you are studying and taking a test, and you could know the answer but get it wrong because you misspelled it.

Would Recomend. Quizlet is such a great app! Before I used Quizlet studying would be something where I would repeat the review over and over again but with Quizlet they have different studying techniques that keep learning things more interesting. The learn category helps me a lot too because it takes all of your definitions and makes you learn it in different ways. If you mess up the app comes back to repeat it so you memorize it. At the end of each studying session it tells you how much you’ve improved and then it asks when your test in so it can build a Learning curriculum almost to help you learn it in time. Another thing is that you can have Quizlet on any Device so you can study anywhere! Even without the paying subscription it helps you out! I love this and would get a paying subscription if I could afford it.

Please look into thee issues. The app has a lot of potential to be just as good (or even better) than the desktop site. Unfortunately, it continues to fall short because: - Every time you open a study set, even accidentally or for a split second, a pop up will appear to inform you that you earned an achievement for opening and studying “X Amount” of sets that day or week. A lot of your time gets wasted because there isn’t an option to “x out” of the alert that is blocking your screen, all because Quizlet decided it was important to remind you that you just opened another study set. - Soon after viewing the search results page, the app ALWAYS times out and kicks you off of the page that is open at that time. You are forced to back out of the app, reopen it, and restart your search from the beginning all over again. The app will time out numerous times afterwards, especially when using the search function and viewing the page of search results. - The app is SO slow and crashes A LOT. While actively in use, the app freezes and eventually shuts down (or you have to reset your phone just to get it unfrozen). This happens at least once every time you are using the app. - Even worse, your phone will get incredibly HOT shortly after opening and using the app. I had to power off my phone and remove the case to get it to cool down because of how hot it became while using the Quizlet app today. The heat changes happen every time the app is used.

Quizlet all the way🤩. I feel like quizlet saved my life on so many tests it’s unbelievable. It’s a must download. You literally just take your study guide for your test and put the info into a test format just like if you were taking a test. It saved me when I did not study all week for an upcoming science quiz. My friend helped me make one and I quizzed my self for literally 15 mins and I felt confident that I would pass and I did. I am currently doing a Latin quizlet and I am confident I will pass. The only reason I didn’t give this app a five star rating is because I wish we didn’t have to pay to get plus. You should not have to pay to study right. Also I wish they would give us the option to take photos from our photo library and put it as our profile pic. You may be able to do that with plus but I don’t think sooo. If you make that possible I have a fluffcorn pic waiting to be used in my photo library

Was so good until….. OMG, I’m so disappointed at how the feature of copying the correct answer after answering incorrectly suddenly disappeared!!! What’s even worse is that it happened right before some of the most important exams in my life. I can’t take this anymore. I feel like dying, ugh, my head hurts. I paid for this app because of how good that feature was when using the “Learn” option. It played a significant role in helping me memorize lots of information. If quizlet removes the feature that I’m referring to, can they at least have smart grading for write mode cuz write mode’s grading style is soooooooo annoying. Also, the way it gives hints of the correct answer just makes it even more annoying since its so hard to read and it really doesn’t help me remember any information!!! It literally makes me break down into tears. Or can’t they give us the option to turn off/on the feature of copying the correct answer after answering incorrectly????!!! Quizlet was perfect then. I’m begging you quizlet please bring back the feature that I’m talking about. I BEG YOU WITH ALL MY HEART, MIND, AND SOUL!!!! PLEASE!!!! 😫😫

Pay to use. Quizlet claims that their services are “free” because you still have the option to make flash cards. I’ve been using quizlet since 2018 to study for literally everything. Now I’m in college as a stem major and came back to my trusty study tool only to find out that I now have to pay an expensive subscription just so I can utilize something that I’ve been using for years. The learn and test modes are by far the best ways to study and learn material but now you have to pay to use it even though it’s been free for years?? Quizlet y’all are extremely greedy at this point. Like be for real. Y’all took away something that high school and college students use to study because we don’t have a lot of money just so y’all could make even more money?? And on top of that y’all didn’t even add anything to the flash cards to make it worth the subscription price. From the bottom of my heart I hope y’all crash and burn. It’s so inconsiderate of the people who can’t afford it and now everyone hates y’all. I hope y’all end up losing even more money.

8 bucks a month, are you kidding me?. Why on earth does a quizzing/flashcard app need $8 a month? This app got me through middle school, high school, and then some. The learn feature was great, I didn’t have to do flash cards but I also didn’t have to test and repeat. Several years ago they even had this meteor game that was really fun! I’m in college now, I came back to study for a midterm I have coming up. Figured I’d rely on the learn feature to get me through the door… nope, you get like five rounds before you have to pay. Ok, fair enough they’ve somehow upgraded their AI or something I’ll just take a test… you get one, one test a set before you have to pay. From what I can tell, not much has changed besides the paywall. I don’t understand how this is advantageous for y’all. This app was hugely popular when I was in middle and high school, do you honestly expect that age range to shell out for a flashcard subscription? And I promise you that college students will not pay for this either, we are too busy trying to pay off the other price gouging entities in our lives. So long for now Quizlet, guess I’ll figure something else out.

You’ve come a long way baby!. I used to use Quizlet many years ago and it was useful but very, very doggy. It had a lot of promise, but may the functions didn’t work right and it didn’t do a good job at handling graphics. Now it’s very highly refined and works great. Generally it’s a refined product I’m happy to pay for the premium for to reinforce memorization, except for the AI features that are undergoing development. It has one annoying glitch that I hope the developers will consider. After editing an existing deck there needs to be a button saying SAVE. The way it works now is sometimes it saves the deck and sometimes it creates a duplicate second deck, and I can’t figure out what’s going to happen when. If a duplicate deck is created, I’ve got to figure out which one to delete. Editing and saving a deck must provide a reliable and consistent result. Once this gets addressed it’ll be a five star application. Make it so!

quizlet WAS great.. I am extremely disappointed about needing to write a review like this for an app that has helped me greatly. For a while there has been Quizlet+, a paid version that included more features, similar to what a lot of apps offer. This was okay because the free version still gave you the learn and test features. I cannot stress how AMAZING those features are for studying. I could quickly make study sets, share them with others, and use them to study for free. Now all of that is gone. If Quizlet was more than just a host of user-generated study sets, I could see why you might have to subscribe, but that’s not the case. They are monetizing study sets than you, your friends, your peers, your teachers, and I created. They are making you pay to study sets that you created yourself and offering them to others for money without you benefiting. That is not fair. What can you do about it? Remove all of your sets and delete your account. Without us and our content, Quizlet is nothing, and it seems they need a reminder of that.

Love this app, but just one thing.. I have been using Quizlet since 6th grade to study for quizzes and tests, and now as a sophomore in high school, it still holds true in higher level classes and AP material. It is an ESSENTIAL tool for anyone needing to memorize and learn material. That being said, I’ve noticed that now you must purchase premium to continue more than five rounds of the Learn feature. I understand it takes money to make a great app, and it’s fair. However, I feel this takes away a little from the app. The learn feature was the best part of it, the best perfect study tool, which is why it makes since to make you pay for it, but this does make things a more difficult and the app slightly less useful. There is nothing to me than can top Quizlet, but I’m still looking forward to see how the team improves this app in the time to come.

New update prices out students. I just wanted to let quizlet know why I will be pulling my sets from the service and discontinuing use. I have used quizlet for a long time now when I needed to memorize things for school. Today I log on for the first time this semester to start memorizing for a test in two weeks. I upload my set and find that I can no longer access the learn and test feature without paying? This company put the only useful parts of their website behind a paywall too high for students! Between housing, food, books, tuition, I can't afford to pay extra money for a service no matter how badly I might need it! I have found several other services that offer the same exact features, but free. The websites might not be as pretty and easy to use but at least it's free. I simply cannot afford any subscriptions. I literally live paycheck to paycheck, even then I have to take out loans to make do. Quizlet is clearly misunderstanding their userbase. I am beyond appalled that they would choose this move. Too many sites offer the same service for free, I'm sorry I didn’t leave Quizlet sooner

Write mode. I love Quizlet. But the write mode stinks on my computer! I am studying and a question comes up that I don’t know the answer to. I select “Don’t know” and it gives me a very short time I have to type in the response I missed before it moves to the next question. I wish it would only move on after you press “Enter” or “Next” and not when you stop typing. I stop typing for a brief second and it will move on. Very annoying! Furthermore, when accessing Quizlet from my phone, I will go into Write Mode. But when I select “Don’t know” it gives a little pop-up telling the answer. It doesn’t actually give you a chance to write it down to build your memory. It just allows you to read it and then move on to the next question. I wish it would make you write it, and if you didn’t want to write it you could skip it like in Learn mode. I hope a change can be made. Thank you.

Surprised. I used quizlet years ago when I was still in high school back then it was just a website that allowed you to make flash cards or look up existing ones. Now it has flash card, matching, tests etc. it will actually read the questions and answers to you which is super helpful to me because I’m a auditory learner. My favorite feature it had was the learn feature. It asks you questions, from the set you are leading from, in a multiple choice format. When you answer it correctly it become familiar then it will ask you the question again later on in a fill in the blank or flash card format to make sure you actually remember it. I couldn’t be more happy with that feature because it reiterates the knowledge you have learned before to make sure it sticks! I am very happy I downloaded this app for my final I’m sure I’ll pass with flying colors using this.

Disappointing Decision. I would give it 0 stars if I could. I cannot express how disappointed I am to whoever at Quizlet thought money was more important than the education of the future generation. Thinking about using “Learn” mode? Think again. Arguably, the most useful mode now has a maximum of 5 rounds. So good luck with those 50+ terms you have to study. Oh, you didn’t want ads that distract you? HAH! You’re hilarious! There’s three just on the home page. Rethink what you’re doing Quizlet team. There is no way you are doing that bad on money right now. It’s just not possible. Have you forgotten about your users who do not have the money for your subscription? I’m sorry to say, but, they’re more worried about whether or not they’ll get a meal at supper or a school lunch. Frankly, none of your users are going to care about your super cars and mansions Quizlet. Stop being money hungry, it’s just going to hurt your app and your users are already suffering under your wants. But hey, its your app, if you want to kill it, you can kill it. I’ve seen it happen before.

A great app, but.... As a quizlet user for over a year, I have used the website for all of my studying. I have just got the app and loved it. It has helped me receive many 💯’s and A’s on my tests and quizzes. The studying tools are perfect. I wish there was a group-chat/groups feature. My friends and I have made some group-chat sets that people can edit with a password. The problem is people can delete other people’s messages (terms.) I also wish for some admin powers on the group-chat system so that people can delete ugly and overall annoying messages. This would probably include a feature called “Request-a-Delete” or “Request a mod.” The feature would need to give the mods a notification. It would also help if a notification was sent to the person that requested the action, and (if action was taken) a notification that whatever happened to the message happened. Same with a ban or a discipline system.

This app is a life saver. Everything about quizlet is amazing. The amount of features you get for free is incredible. You can tailor the app to the way you learn best. For example I always use the write setting to study for Spanish tests. I can choose to be given a word in English and then I will type it in Spanish. It makes sure I add accents and spell everything correct and helps me memorize the words. It even does translating for me so if I choose the term to be English and the definition to be Spanish it will automatically put in the word. If you get a certain term wrong quizlet identifies that and helps you practice that word more than the others. I recently upgraded for just one buck a month so I can study without WiFi but honestly you’d be fine without needing to upgrade. This app has NEVER glitched or acted weird for me. Without it I swear I’d be failing all my classes

Good, but please fix this!!. I’ve used quizlet since middle school, and I love the desktop version. However, the match needs some work, in app and on computer. On my laptop, the match game starts and has an around .8 second head start before the full page loads, and I know it doesn’t sound like a ton, but when you’re competing down to the .0 seconds, it’s a big delay. So, naturally I downloaded the app, my hands are much faster than a mouse, and my phone has amazing speed. When I downloaded the app and opened the match game though, I can’t see the pictures well at all! It shows the title on top of the picture, making it super hard to see! I’d prefer if it were the same set up as the desktop version, but I understand it needs to be compact. It’s just hard as I need to stare for a while before I know what the actual picture is. I know this is a super specific request, but I’d really appreciate an update for the match game. Something easier to see? Fantastic app otherwise IMO.
