Almost being perfect but.... I was about to give this app 5 stars but the annoyances that i got when i tried to de-attach my email from my old account made me settle down with 4 stars. I had an old account that i attached my email to it long time ago then i started a new account but i tried to remove my email from the old account either by deactivating it by sending an email to Anghami or going through the costumer service on their website, but i was never able to remove my email and deactivate my old account so that i can reuse my email in the new account... i hope than anghami can come up with an option to remove your email from an account.

5.4 issue. After introducing 5.4.0 version the app became so laggy and keeps being unresponsive for awhile whenever i open it or when i switch between applications. Tried it on both wifi and LTE the same thing happened knowing that I’m using the last version of ios and iphone 12 pro with plenty of storage space. Thank you for creating this amazing music app +

Best app ever. I have tried many other applications I highly recommend this app wherever you are around the globe. This app shows all types of music that get you through your days. Whatever language you search for you can actually find. With best plans that you don’t really need to worry about and whenever you have any issues the team are so friendly and prompt in action.

I’m definitely going to delete the app. This is just a devastating thing to say but the developers just decided to ruin the app by giving you a choice between either going through a very disappointing experience or updating to plus which is just a sadistic thing to do for the users who always used the app so i decided to delete the app because i found that listening to songs online is more efficient and less humiliating.

Love it, but.... I love this app, but recently I stopped using it because the application is not letting me do what I want and it’s forcing me to go with anghami plus which i can’t do, but I accepted it because I actually like that you have the original song version and not someone’s cover of the song or an unnecessary mix like some other apps. But also recently at the couple of updates you not limit my options, but you also force shuffle on me to listen to some music that aren’t really in my song selection, which is really frustrating so i hope you do something for this.

ATTENTION!!. This is a comment from one of the old anghami plus members. Anghami hs been the best music app ever where i rarely experience something out of order or annoying, thank you Anghami Team and i hope u always give the same results. I recommend any user to download this music app and subscribe to Anghami plus, I guarantee a wonderful experience and you’ll get disappointed. Last but not least, last update was written in a way that made me laugh by heart, Thank you Anghami.

Used to love it - now it’s useless. This app used to provide so many features for FREE and allow its users plenty of freedom in playing songs and listening to the radio. You could download music, listen to as many songs as you want, scrub, skip, etc. There were ads but it didn’t get in the way of enjoying the app. And now all of that is gone because they want to force everyone to pay for the same features we used to enjoy for FREE. Apparently constant ads is not enough — you need everyone to be an Anghami Plus subscriber to even be able to play a song. I’m not opposed to paying for music streaming services, but Anghami is simply not developed enough to be worth a monthly fee. There are much better music apps out there with wider selection and more flexibility and better functioning. Also, the condescending manner in which the developers reply to some of the reviews in the App Store is unprofessional at best. Don’t bother with this app. Waste of time and money.

Best free music app.. This is app gives you great collection of music both old and new and exclusive. The free version has ads and some limitations, but still you won’t find anything better or remotely close. To get rid of adds and limitations and to get extra features, you pay monthly subscription which is reasonable. I always do monthly subscription when I’m out of town coz it becomes my perfect companion. In closing, I’ve been using this app for several years I lost count and I’m a very satisfied with it and highly recommend it.

It WAS cool. I'm using Anghami plus since the last year!! It was so cool and easy to use! But in about the last three months, it got sooo stupid ! First when i go online and play a downloaded song, The app redownloads the song and this issue is so annoying, sometimes when i have weak internet I have to wait more than 3 minutes to play a song I already downloaded. Second almost 90% of the lyrics are wrong and doesn't match in time and downloaded songs loses their lyrics for no reason, so I have to go online again to redownload the lyrics! One last thing, I think you should have discounts for customers that have been using Anghami plus for a long time! Thanks for understanding!

Incredible repertoire of songs. 1- the Music library is not just great but amazing 2-the user interface is great and easy to use 3-the option of keeping songs for offline play is just great 4-the curated playlists and albums are fantastic 5-the offers and the prices for premium users are incredible 6-you can join useful podcasts7-you can keep track of your friends favorites 8-they cover wide range of cultures Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh Anghami you have just made my days and I’m happy to keep on and on

Please fix this issue the app is almost perfect except for this. I want to be able to add music more easily from my downloads on a playlist as I have to add every song separately if there’s a selecting option so I can add bunch of songs together will be so much better, also I want when I search my downloads I want the music to play as they’re arranged in search results for example I want to lsn to all Lana Del rays songs that I have in my downloads so I search using Lana Del Rey and I have all the songs in the result yet when I play a song the next one is not Lana Del Rey as the songs are played by their original order in my downloads list. And this is very very very frustrating really and annoying it’s a very big flaw please fix it as soon as possible, I mean in that case when I want to only lsn to Lana Del Rey’s songs that are in my downloads I have to create a new list and add EACH AND EVERY SONG SEPARATELY as we don’t have the select option in our downloads list .

ANGHAMI IS PERFECT UNLESS YOU ARENT PLUS. Anghami is great and all when it comes to listening to a large variety of music including international music like arabic songs, but seriously the limited options for non-plus users is too little, 2 or 3 years ago it was alot easier and better to use but the changes that were made are upsetting, I can’t play my playlist without it going to some random song outside of the playlist?! Yeah plus is cheap and I’ve had it before but I wish the non-plus didn’t have too little limited options..

Adding songs to playlist.. It would be great if you could add the option of selecting many songs from our likes, downloads... to then add them to a playlist. Because selecting each song individually to add to a playlist is very slow. And the option we have to add songs to our playlist by selecting songs from our likes, previous plays... don’t show everything. Only a couple of songs.

Back on Top: Best songs app in the App Store. I’ve been a long time Anghami supporting since way back when I had a Nokia phone. Loved it since, they have added so many upgrades and features such as Lyrics, Song identifiers, and a huge plethora of songs from all over the world. And they even have the personal annual playlist review (it’s better than their biggest competitors). For the cost, it’s fair and affordable. Not sure about the added subscription for Audiobooks… will try that in the near future.

Used to be good but shuffle play ruined everything!. This used to be my favorite music app and I would’ve recommended it to any one but not any, despite the annoying ads which pop up every second and are 15sec minimum but I could bare through cause it’s free right but then they took away the replay button and made it for premium users only and they added shuffle play which literally made the up so annoying and almost unusable it’s like they’re forcing you to pay to just use the app!!!

Revise the latest update. This is really disappointing, and I believe if you dont take an action quickly, you might lose most of your loyal clients. Adding to the previous comments, I even cant pause the song when the mobile is locked!!! I have two suggestions for you guys: 1. You need to revert back to the previous version settings for the free version 2. You need to consider adjusting your monthly subscriptions for the Plus version. I guess $1 per month is a reasonable subscription fee, and it’s your call. Thanks

The app is a joke now. Don't use it these days. You can't rewind. You can't skip. You have a limited amount of times you can play a song each day. You can't add a song to your current queue. And now they add random songs to your playlists and queues. It is all exclusive to Plus. It is a shame really because the app itself is great and they have good library but the monetization is literal trash it is all forced, this is really unacceptable. On top of that it is the only way to listen to music properly in MENA. And god forbid you try to complain to them on social media because they get all sassy thinking they're funny and start saying things like "unlimited music" and "haha sorry we provide you music" and cringy things like that. Pure shame because this app was good but now it is unusable

I prefer the old version.... Hey, I love this app and all but it’s just that I preferred the old version were we could : see how much is the time of all the playlist (playing in shuffle or normal), and how the playlist were next to each other,... it’s great and all now but for me it was better before... I suggest you mix the 2 version and let the peoples choose how they want it because they are many that prefer that one and other (like me) that prefer the old one Anyway thank you guys so much it’s a great app and I recommend it

The best music app (atleast in the middle east). With Apple and most US based music services offering limited libraries in the Middle East region, Anghami has risen to the challenge and filled in a gaping void. I've been using the Anghami Plus service for over a year and I've been nothing short of impressed. Their library of songs is impressive and diverse, while still being affordable. They also have regularly updated custom albums, for all genres, which is a nice touch if you're like me and don't have the patience to make one yourself 😬. The only place I'd suggest making an improvement is, your subscription page within the app, could use a revamp to easily manage Anghami Plus subscriptions. Keep up the good work guys!

Nice but needs extra steps. If we’re talking about music streaming service, this app provides an excellent service to the end users. But the small things also matter for users: 1. Not all production companies available to listen, as many artists dont have their albums on the app 2. Extremely rigid interface, which i believe will cause the users to slip to other competitors. This is critical for the app in my view. 3. The community is useless in the app, as i said the interface available is really bad that as a user you cannot make much of value in things other than streaming

It’s good but not great. I mean I’m okay with the ads that pop every 3 seconds but I just find it ridiculous that I can’t play the previous song that I just listened to or just fast forward to the middle of any song without paying. I payed once for anghami plus and the app (took more money) from me than it was supposed to so I unsubscribed. Also to add there’s one flaw that really bugs me whenever an artist releases a new album and I would want to hear it I tap play and just when the first song ends it starts to play random music unrelated to the album which is so annoying. But other than that I like the app and would never delete it. :))))

Deleted, last ever review.. I’ve been using anghami ever since the iphone 4 came out on the same account. It used to give you the feeling of freedom that you won’t get anywhere else as a free user, it stayed like that for years. Until suddenly they started forcing you with every “little “ update that they just describe as bug fixes without actually telling you what you’re updating to. So now, there is no rewind, there is no scrub, there is a limit to listening to a preferred artist and when you reach it they start playing shuffle music of random songs you never heard, and the last shot that got to me and made me delete the app after so many years of having it is they force you to play your liked songs on shuffle, so you have to pick every song you wanna listen to even if they are after each other on the list. Last thing is don’t think all of this i did was just for me not to pay, but this app and the people behind it will turn their back on you even if you’re an old user who always supported them. And yes, I subscribed to apple music right before deleting this app, just to download the music i had. Thanks for an amazing journey with you guys. And thanks for the horrible ending of that journey. Motion. I gave it a fours stars , just because , the motion in the app is slow like when you’re listening to a song and then you’re sliding down to browse through , you have to like legit drag all the way down instead of just slide through, i think you need to work on that , to make the motions more smooth, the smoother the more practical, the app is actually really good , also for the artworks and the lyrics , the artworks can be blurry and not in good quality and the lyrics can be wrong or misspelled

My Constant Companion. I ❤️ Anghami. It’s my favorite music app ever. I listen to it all day and now even more so after starting my subscription. I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate! One request though would make my, and I’m sure many others’ experience all that greater is having more live versions of songs in addition to the radio ones. I wish I could look up and find live concerts as well, especially for older bands such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin whose live songs are sometimes actually better than the radio ones, not to exclude current bands as well. WOW! That would be great! Thanx!

Disappointed!!. I’ve been using the app for quite a while now and it was really good until the stupid new update, i got why you guys have to have commercials and adds but i just don’t understand why would make the rewind button and replay button as an extra option for subscribers its not even a thing to make as an extra plus the you’ve played this artist enough for today!!!, also its lagging and doesn’t want to load a full song too since the update, i mean I would love to subscribe but why would i pay for sth in used to get free and you only made one network available and im not on it so what am I supposed to do to get it back to normal???!

Just a Few Tweaks. I really love Anghami. I can listen to any song that comes to mind at any time. But I have a couple of problems, and the first one are ... the constant ads. I don’t mind the ones that come up between songs so that Anghami can pay the artists, but I hate the ones constantly asking me to buy a membership. I mean, I just want to listen to some good music for free. My next problem is that I can’t rewind, replay or choose a point in the song to listen to. And every time I try to rewind a song to the beginning, it won’t let me and will put up an add for me to buy the membership so that I CAN rewind, replay and high speed scrub. Every. Single. Time. Also, what’s weird is that I could do al, those things before and now I can’t and I’m constantly being shown adds for the membership offers. In addition to that, every time I use Anghami, it glitches my keyboard. And my iPad is new, plus, no OTHER apps do that. So those are my few tweaks/ complaints... but other than that, I enjoy Anghami quite a lot and I am able to listen to so many songs. Also, I have been able to find artists that I thought could only be found on certain apps (as they aren’t too well known). I do recommend Anghami. Thanks Anghami, you’re really great, but if you could just change these few things my rating would go from a 4 to a 5.

We don’t need non-stop music!. Update: I already know that. It’s inconvenient. I just want my ‘liked music’ playlist to actually be played.. as a PLAYLIST. I don’t want to keep selecting music to play. How am I supposed to drive & listen to music this way? You keep taking features away from free Anghami users, which is really unfair. Aren’t ads enough profit-generators for you? Original comment: All I want is to be able to play my liked songs without having to select each one to play next! I hate how when a song ends, a random song plays! What’s the use of the “play more like this” button? Driving is impossible when this app is on. I understand that many features are now exclusive for Plus accounts, but come on! This is the only feature we need!

Outrageous update. I personally used to love Anghami, until they forced update without any notification and disabled the rewind button, as well as restricted the amount of times we could listen to an artist. This completely contradicts its images and app description, because we do not get unlimited free music anymore. Anghami is now no different to its competitors. We might as well use a different app that has the same options that Anghami used to have. It's restricted in the amount of times we listen to an artist (I've been listening to this one artist all afternoon, then when it came to playing another song later on, it disabled my choice of preference). The only reason I chose Anghami was because of its wonderful amount of freedom it gave to me, as well as everyone. Now, I am completely astonished by the lengths that this company took. Terrible.

Bring back the essential features!. Ever since I started Anghami, it was the best online streaming service I use. But day after day the service started deteriorating and the providers thought only financially and turned their backs to customer satisfaction! I honestly miss the ability to scroll backwards and replay songs without the need to search for it, play it again, since they’re asking for me to “upgrade” to the PLUS subscription! I also miss the replay, the unlimited skips, they even limit the amount of times I can actually listen to my favorite artists! The developers are trying to force me to pay for some of the basic things any service should have! I ask for these features to not be held back from the public and allow us our rights to listen to music the way it’s supposed to happen. Many thanks in advance.

Great app, small suggestion. It is the best music app out there in terms of content and value for money. Definitely deserves 5 stars. But I would like to make a small suggestion, new songs added to playlists should appear ON TOP and not down the bottom. Most people organize their songs from the trendiest and favorites to least, from TOP to bottom. Everytime time I add a new song I have to drag it all the way up. No one starts their playlist playing the last song at the bottom

Great app but.... I’ve been using this app ever since the very first version, and it was usually up to the high expectations. A while ago , I subscribed to Anghami Plus to get rid of the apps, and those extra features. I would have rated 5 stars but the recent campaign with WAVO is so annoying, so many pop ups to subscribe which is making me wonder why am I paying for the Plus membership so! Please remain true to your customers, as you’ve always been, for the sake of this good app, especially now that the competitors are officially in the region.

What kind of update is this!!. I use to love the Anghami app! And I always used to give it a 5-star rating in-app. But now you just forcing on everyone to update to the plus by not allowing users to rewind and limiting the amount of songs being played by the same artist not to mention disabling the scrub!!! You didn't even notify anyone for this update beforehand and you kept urging users to update to the new version in the previous one! This is not acceptable at all. We use to look up to Anghami for providing the best services and we use to upgrade to the plus plans often every now and then and we never mind because we like what Anghami provided. But now with this force treatment, it feels like we've been ripped off before we even payed to the Anghami plus subscription! Not cool Anghami. Very disappointed! And I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one. And I realized people have been writing reviews but you only seem to reply to the positive ones and ignore the bad reviews. You are only losing respect by doing so if not users.

I love it but there’s something wrong. So I first of all created an account in anghami with my number and then I added my email and then I wanted to add a password but guess what I had to have an old password I mean I don’t how or when but I never used a password in anghami as I said I sign in with my number so please try to fix it + whenever I try to change my playlist cover it won’t change and some of them don’t have a cover even tho I added a cover so?? either then that I love this app I’m actually thinking about going plus so yeah.

Good , but can be better. It’s a good app in general but each update makes it worse and worse , like when they took the previous song button or when it doesn’t allow you to listen to a full album in chronological order, or with the latest update if you listen to a song many times it blocks you from listening to it again , it’s up to me if I want to listen to a song 1000 times on repeat , the app shouldn’t stop me . If the updates keep making my experience worse rather than better I might switch to another app .

Worst customer service!. I have been paying for subscriptions for years now, and I got an offer months ago to add family members to my plan, I have added only 1 account out of 5, a month later I received an email saying you’ve added all your 5 family members! I thought my account got hacked or something, contacted Anghami care on Twitter and they had no clue on whats going on, they finally said they will look into the issue and thats it, been receiving the same email every single month, so i decided to add another family member since its offering that in the email I get every month, tried adding but no luck! Contacted Anghami care again and again they had no clue why I’m getting those emails! And instead of correcting things they went and looked to the family member account i’ve added months ago and deleted that from my account without any consent! This is just stupid and ridicules support team! I hope that management reads this to know how their team are dealing with loyal customers! Canceled my subscription though.

This is awesome. This app is amazing and definitely deserve every single penny i paid for! But i use it a lot on my apple watch so i would like that the developers add a place where i can turn the volume. And for the phone, i would like a favorite icon where i can instantly switch from one music equalizer to another. And fir the music itself, there are some songs that only come in “radio edit” versions, so i really wish you could put the original versions to! Thank you!!

Unfortunately. i have heard many great things about this app, but unfortunately when i downloaded it i tried to sign up and it said i needed to activate my account. okay, cool! so i go to my email to activate my account, but i see no email. i press resend email multiple times, but still no email. after a day, i go back to the app. “we’re sorry for the issues you encountered” (or something along those lines. nice, lets get listening to music! oh? pick your favorite artists? why are all these artists arabic? i dont speak arabic, and neither am i arabic. weird. so i skip that entire thing, and i get to the home screen. okay cool, ill just search up my favorite artist, lyn lapid. yay, it popped up! what? i cant see this artist because of my country? does the app think im in an arabic speaking country? im not! so yeah. this app, ruined. im in the usa, not an arabic speaking country.

Songs. Alright let me get this straight this app is amazing and really I love it so much just just a bit of things I want to tell you guys because it doesn’t really work for me The fact that getting Anghami plus makes you download songs and that’s unfair I would want to download some songs with no Anghami plus even if I am gonna get it soon and also sometimes it tells me here is a few songs that are the same to this song but really and truly all I wanna listen to at this point is Positions by Ariana Grande so....thanks ☺️

Technical issue and landscap mode. The app has some technical issue for long time now Firstly, when I open my friend's music activity and move from one friend to another, usually the last track from my previous friend stuck on loop and keeps playing. The only way to stop this loop is by close the music activity area. Secondly, If I left the status "Music Activities", there's no way to go back and open it without close the entire application and open it again. So if I would like to listen to my friend's last played songs. A track can stuck on loop. if I exit the status/Music Activities, I can’t go back "It's just not open" the only way to open it again is by restart the entire application. It's very annoying and what makes it worse is these issues here for a long time now. Also, there's no way to open the application on the landscape mode. I can understand the reason why there is no landscape mode on iPhone "All users usually use their iPhone on portarit mode except for games and watching videos" but not on the iPad. I and many users prefer iPad on landscape mode but because of your lack of support, I can’t use Angami on iPad.

Angami plus. I am really disappointed in you i just updated since there were bug fixes so i thought it would make the app better, but no it made it worse. You have disabled scrubbing and going to the previous song. I have also read other reviews saying that you limited the amount of songs you can play from one artists. I really used to admire you and was really happy since i love listening to songs, but no you are just pressuring and forcing us to buy Anghami plus. I would really love for you to fix this.

It's really a good app. I don't know why people complain about it.. Anghami is great. It lets you play all your favorite music and download them with Anghami Plus. The old features were cool, but since they removed them, really nothing much changed. You can still play your music like you used to when the old features were there. Everyone maybe have bugs or what not on their phone, because here, the app is working perfectly like any other app. Continue your good work and effort!

Bring it back. Hey there! I have been using this app since day 1 it started & it’s nice to see how far it came. But now there is a feature that i can’t seem to find that was extremely convenient. Adding all now playing songs to a playlist on their own at once, so I was able to go back to them & decide whether i want to download them or not. If you can bring it back, that will be awesome. Other than that, keep the good work & new updates & features coming!

Like the older version better. I really liked the app before the latest update. I don’t like this new layout of downloads. I used to have 1100 downloaded songs, now I have 665 songs + 7 albums and 10 playlists, and when I hit shuffle on my downloads, they only play those 665 and not the whole 1100 songs that I actually have. And when I’m searching for a song that I have already downloaded I can’t find it in my downloads, I have to go look for it in the specific playlist that it’s in??? That’s annoying to be honest, If I remembered the playlist of every song then I wouldn’t be searching for it. Anyway, I’d give the older version 5 stars but not this one.

Account issues. I’m living in the United states, when I upgraded my phone, my Anghami account in united states disappeared, when I open Anghami it does login me with my very old account that I used to have in Lebanon, I was trying to login but couldn’t still have the same problem, and am trying to make a new subscription but its giving me only options to subscribe with Lebanese, how can I fix it.

Ruined. No rewind, too much ads, can't repeat or skip parts of the song. I used to love this app and recommended it to everyone, but now I just keep on hating it more and more. Usually I would buy a 25$ iTunes card and let the subscription go for a couple of months till my acc runs out of money and so I recharge after a day or two but this time after my subscription ended I saw that they removed the rewind button, removed the repeat button and u have to listen to the whole song and can't skip parts of it AND THEY BOMBARD YOU WITH LONG ADS. It's like they're trying to force you into subscribing. So do u know what? I'll never subscribe again and I'll never recommend this app again and I'll ask everyone I know to stop using this money hungry app. Such a worthless cash grab that ruined a perfectly good app.

It’s getting worst every day!. I have been using this app for more than 4 years not its all about Pay Pay Pay and even if it’s free they make you hate your music a lot of ads!! First they started to prevent us from going back to the previous song , they play shuffled songs that is not even in my playlist?? a lot a lot of ads between every single song , and now what? I only can skip 6 songs an hour seriously? I have more than 400 songs in my playlist so basically they want me to listen to what they? I won’t pay 3$/ month because they already make money from ads so you guys stop doing stuff like that .. you guys have to stop controlling us from what should we do I don’t care about the ads but I do care about controlling me!

Disabling free features without notifying users, bad move!. I used to love this app, had it on all my devices and been using it on daily basis and paid for the premium version a few times and was going to do it again as soon as I recharge my credit, was also recommending it to everyone I know.. but then I saw ur latest update, disabling the rewind button and the repeat button in the free version, seriously?? This act just implies u’re so money hungry, u r eliminating the free features and without even having the decency to notify the old users! I would have gladly paid for it, had it been that way from the beginning, but taking away ‘free’ features just to FORCE people to buy it! No, thanks! There are plenty of other, more convenient ways to listen to music!

The Anghami BLOCKADE on abroad. Even born in Brazil and living in this country, Anghami has provided me a connection with the Arab world. I love Arabic song and Anghami was a tool to listen to my favorite singers because it is difficult to enjoy khaleej, Lebanese, Egyptian, Saudi, and other songs in my country. Unfortunately, Anghami now requires a subscription to continue to listen Arabic song just because I am not at the MENA region. It’s so unfair to be excluded for this reason. I do agree to pay for some sources in an app, e.g., create a playlist and listen offline, but I consider unreasonable to deny access to those who enjoy the app and the culture that it represents. Further, I consider it unfavorable to the artists because their songs cannot be exported to other countries and continents.

Major Disappointment in the New Update. I want to revert back to the older Anghami version, this app is crappy. I preview songs before actually playing them, and it shows on my feed that I’ve played them... this is very very disappointing! I expect to have the same old lovely look Anghami had. I got a new device, and forgot to turn off the automatic updates so the app got updated before I even said so... Anghami used to be the app everyone looked up to, I myself let go of the music app in my iPhone just to have the music all in one place, regardless of some exclusive and unreleased material of my favorite artists that I keep in the Music app this way to save space. I advise you to please bring back the old sleek look this app had, or at least not let songs you just preview a second or 10 of only show unlike before, when you actually play a song and it shows on the recently played. All users must not update at all!! This is very disappointing. I gave it two stars when it deserves a measly one and even half a star now, two just for the music updates. But hence IT ONLY JUST DESERVES HALF A STAR. BRING BACK THE OLD ANGHAMI ASAP AND STOP SHOWING PREVIEWED SONGS ON THE FEED AND RECENTLY PLAYED WTH!!

Not really smartphone independent !. The last update claims that the apple watch app is now smartphone independent, however once the smartphone is disconnected from the Apple Watch, the app freezes and nothing can be streamed !

Won’t allow me to stream music for free. I had Anghami for about a year and it worked very well until a few days ago, whenever I try to play music it doesn’t allow me to play unless I start paying as it won’t ‘stream in my region’ which I don’t understand why because it was working perfectly fine before. I had Anghami for few years now , you can find most of Arabic songs you want , but their top songs lists are outdated and I feel they don’t change it, they keep it for so long then add few top songs and that’s it .. I feel there no effort in this app , I have it for creating my own lists which is not very handy specially when am paying annual account fees

Great app. Only thing is lately my weekly mix tape needs an improvement, but the main issue is the radar is not working anymore. I thought after the update the issue will be resolved but it hasn’t. Country. Whenever I try to search up a song in English for example rolling in the deep it always brings me Arabic songs I think the app thinks I’m in Egypt. I’m in Canada. But this started ever since i changed phones. I don’t know what to do bc my mum got the family premium and it’s not working for me it’s a complete wast of money and I don’t know what to do.

Shittiest app ever. Every time you search for a song (all well knows songs for well known artists) you cant find it! They keep pushing you to subscribe and pay so you can have BASIC features, like skip and replay!! Garbage. Ok, I’m going to address the issues that EVERYONE has with this app. If you are cheap like me and can’t get Anghami plus, you can’t even re-listen to a song you want. I don’t mind the internet connection idea where you have to have a stable internet connection to listen to music but this is disputed by the fact that now you can’t even listen to your favourites in shuffle. This app used to be really good before the creators became greedy and decided they wanted more profit because Spotify is a better music app.

Lost my playlist. All of the sudden one day when I opened the app it asked me to login and when I tried it was a new profile and I lost my playlist and my favourite songs and when I looked for them I got a message that says “not available in my region” very very disappointing!!!! I will be looking for a new app and canceled my anghami plus because it’s not worth it now at all when I can’t get my favourite songs.

Needs serious improvements. I subscribed to premium then canceled my subscription, the app logarithms needs to be improved, the app keeps suggesting songs way out of my listening zone even after 3 months of using. The car mode is not very « drive safely » friendly. I hope to see more improvement in future, but meanwhile Spotify makes much better job for me even being arab mood listener.

Favorite streaming app. I have been using Anghami for over 5 years and it has never disappointed. The algorithm for similar music always recommending great songs.

No free music available - must PAY to PLAY. In the earlier days of this app the interface was simple and the music was free to listen to. Now I’m reminded of paying for a Plus account, creating a profile, and navigating numerous popups to enable push notifications and by the way NO FREE music outside of MENA. The app doesn’t work with Apple TV either. So with nothing working... What’s the point? You just lost another user.

Fix the casting. FIX connect to a device!!! Its unbelievable how low quality is the app. I cant play anything to any of my devices! TV, google home, Chromecast FIX THAT!

Offline mixtape shouldn’t be a paid service. I used to enjoy the offline mixtape option in the subway where there’s no network coverage. As someone who uses the public transportation and wouldn’t want to pay extra to enjoy some music, Anghami is now an app I will no longe use.

Annoying adds. I absolutely loved the app until I had to listen to adds every other song or sometimes after every song. You are providing people with convenience for free. Don’t force them to pay for it by bombarding them with adds. I understand that you need them, so we can enjoy the app for free. However, at least provide a skip option. It won’t be difficult to switch back to an app that Caches songs now.

Deleted. I’m deleting the app because it became super annoying, where I can’t repeat the song or listen to the top ones unless they shuffle. Also I won’t pay for features that already should be provided in every music application. It is very inappropriate to try to force people to pay for music application. 30 second update!?. Anghami was absolutely amazing up until the update on May 1st. Even if you are subscribed, most if not 99% of your music is cut down to 30 second previews, even if the song is downloaded, it makes no difference. That's very unfair!! I understand there's an economic crisis in Lebanon, but it completely destroyed the app. How can you call yourself a music app if you only provide 1% of the experience? I would've understood if it was for unsubscribed users, but to apply the update to all, despite the subscription? That's outrageous. Fix your app!!

My downloads.... So ive been subscribed to anghami for a few months and i had around 98 downloads or something and for the moment being i didnt pay for the subscription, but by day im losing downloads? Everyday the number decreases and its says something around this line (Renew to get your 97 downloads- then another day 95 then today 92..) excuse me what? How and why are my downloads disappearing... this is not acceptable. I paid money and you just take away my downloads? I am not willing to pay for another month until i know for sure this is fixed or ill just switch to another app.

Tried many music apps, stuck around with Anghami. I might seem a little biased given Ive worked there for a while, but I actually had a Deezer premium account for years before that. I quit Deezer for Anghami plus when I saw that all the features I loved were available along with more cool features like live lyric highlighting, lyric sharing, custom on-demand mixes, and other social features.

Disappointed!!. I’ve been using the app for quite a while now and it was really good until the stupid new update, i got why you guys have to have commercials and adds but i just don’t understand why would make the rewind button and replay button as an extra option for subscribers its not even a thing to make as an extra plus the you’ve played this artist enough for today!!!, also its lagging and doesn’t want to load a full song too since the update, i mean I would love to subscribe but why would i pay for sth in used to get free and you only made one network available and im not on it so what am I supposed to do to get it back to normal???!

Too expensive -Not recommended. I can’t play Some songs I like where I live , I live in US and can’t play American songs , very ridiculous.I subscribed for 3 months for $0,99 and now they forcing me to subscribe again for $4.99 to continue playing songs . Great, but doesn’t work on PS4. I love Anghami. I always use it to listen to Amr Diab’s exclusive songs and other Arabic and International songs with my screen off. But, the app literally doesn’t work on PS4; the song albums are literally blank and every time I press a song it doesn’t play. Please fix this glitch because I love listening to songs while gaming. Everything other than that is great.

The best music app you can ask for!. Being an anghami member for a couple of years now, I can say with full confidence I have never been let down. All the features this app has including the suggested music, the playlists, the mix tapes, and I could go on and on. I do not recommend using other than this app for the best music experience!

Apple CarPlay bugs. The app is awesome!! I'm still giving it 5* despite having some issues with the apple carplay When I move between personal dj and ither tabs the screen goes blank and I need to keep on clicking on the personal dj or whatever tab it is several times until it loads the content back However, it works flawlessly on the iOS app

Shuffle ?. I downloaded this app a long long time ago (2013) and i still use it everyday... but only recently i have been having troubles with the shuffle, whenever i shuffle it start with the first song and then some song i haven't downloaded starts playing. Its been like this for 4 days now and its really annoying.

A horrible app. I subscribed for an annual family plan and after 3 months as I changed my phone 1-!t’s telling me it expired 😡😡😡😡. 2- sound quality is very low. 3 - All the downloaded songs cant be played after your subscription expires. I’ve been emailing them back and forth for the past 4-5 days and they have done nothing to fix the problem. I’d like a refund 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣

Disappointed. Im using the free version of Angami, but lately basic features from the free version is disabled, i know that u want to make people subscribe but that should be by attracting them to subscribe not by forcing them, im one of the guys whi will stop even stop using Anghami specially if this strategy is continued to enforce ppl to subscribe specially that there is other application with most of the features, keeping in mind that there is alot of advertising now between the songs which already its paid to anghami, for now i will rate anghami on app store with the minimum until issue ls are fixed as before,

“Oh yeah” app. I have other platforms for music but since I started to jam on Anghami,I was surprised how it brings everything together your music and friends like live radios that feature is outstanding to kick back with friends on a same beat,never had any issues with it only issue is when I run out of my “Plus” subscription,get this fire app!!

It’s so annoying. Anghami is kind of annoying because I want to listen to my songs then after I’m done listening through all of them there are these requested songs at the bottom. Then when I try and play another song, it pauses and played a random song from the requested thing. This gets SUPER annoying fast. An example is I want to listen to a song called airplane part 2 by BTS. But when I click on it it pauses and playes some other Korean song that I don’t know. But other than that I like Anghami

I used to love Anghami but the latest update is the worst ...Can’t go to previous songs,can’t repeat the same song until you move on to another song then you can get back , you even can’t skip to the part you want in the same song until you finish the song completely, Please fix it .

Unprofessional. I’ve been a subscriber on anghami plus for longtime ago. I renewed my subscription last week and i paid the full amout but i didn’t get my PLUS. The help center blamed the bank and the bank said that the amount was deducted from my account. This is unprofessional application. I will switch to another one.

Great app. I love this app. They had every single song I looked for. I listen to Arabic, English, French, Mexican, Romanian, Turkish and Greek songs. I also use it with CarPlay. The only complaint is that sometimes some old downloaded songs come up to the top of my downloads list. I hope this can be fixed soon because I like to have my recently downloaded songs on top of the list. Thank you!

Play next, playing songs out of the playlist!. In the new updates, why did you remove the “play next”? It is an essential feature! This is outrageous! Also, whenever I go to the popular songs of an artist and play a song, the next song is played from a completely different artist rather than the next song in the “popular songs” of this artist! Please fix these two issues!

Disappointed. I’m very very disappointed in this app, it used to be one of my favorites and i would defend it against anyone saying otherwise. However, with this latest update, it gives the you less freedom to even play your playlists in the order you want. I’m very sorry to say but you seem like you’re turning into your rivals. I didn’t want to delete this app because of all my playlists and all the songs and memories they hold, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to after I find a better alternative. Very incredibly disappointed in the path this app is starting to take, shame.

5.4 issue. After introducing 5.4.0 version the app became so laggy and keeps being unresponsive for awhile whenever i open it or when i switch between applications. Tried it on both wifi and LTE the same thing happened knowing that I’m using the last version of ios and iphone 12 pro with plenty of storage space. Thank you for creating this amazing music app +

Fixed Repeat button. The app is Amazing and I’ve using Anghami For Years BUT…. The ONLY THING I’m missing is the option to maintain the repeat button EVEN if i skipped to the next song ( that option was there but at some point they removed it) . I’ve contacted the support many times over the years regarding it but obviously nothing happened. Other than that Anghami is absolutely the best Music app.

Why Anghami?!. Im an iPhone X user and every time i try to play a song from my Downloads the app keeps saying “sorry, we had to download this song again” every single time! I ask my friends if they have the same problem but it looks like I'm the only one of them, please consider my problem for a fix in your upcoming updates. Worst update ever. You guys took everything and now you took the one thing ! The only right that someone had in this app was to make a playlist and listen to it !!! The best music service. The database is great but there's a problem with the User-Interface(iphone 6) Sometimes in the lyrics' section, some words in some sentences are replaced with three dots... instead of the actual lyrics(only when the sentence is being played, i.e white big font). The app definitely deserves 5 stars when this is fixed and we get the lyrics we paid for ❤️

Exactly What I Was Looking for. I love all music but I got into Arabic music lately and was trying to find an app to use for specifically Arabic music and the like. Then I was playing one of my game apps and got an Anghami ad and got it and loved it ever since. It has all the artists I like and easy to maneuver around with the search features. There are no complaints whatsoever with this app. It's perfect.

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!! PLEASE BRING BACK THE SHUFFLE BUTTON. I love love love loveeeee anghami. I literally use it every single day. I just went to one of my playlists like always then played it. I then went to where the shuffle button usually is to find out that ITS NOT THERE ANYMORE!!! Whyyyy oh whyyy did you remove itttttt!!??? It was sooo convenient!!! I really reallyyy hope this is a glitch and that the button somehow appears again because I honestly don’t know how I’ll be able to manage with out it.

Amaziiinnggg. i really enjoy using this app especially with the shared friends playlist but one little thing im subscribed to the plus feature by paying weekly from my zain sim card and now no music is downloading plus when i go to renew my subscription its says that im already subscribed i might have to try new ways to get it back great app though with amazing music ;)

All downloads gone after updating. After updating the app, All my downloaded songs magically uninstalled themselves. Now I had more than 1000 songs downloaded. Now only the ones in the “Likes” playlist are downloading, while the rest have just been lost forever. Bravo really 👍🏼 Uodate: Issue has been resolved within a few hours thanks to the great help center.

Subscription fees is all what you care about!كل مره تطلعون لنا بطريقه عشان تجبروننا نشترك!!. I admit you have the right galary. However, I am really upset of the ways that you are forcing us to pay fees to have the full features. It maybe understandable to not have the feature to download music or listen offline. We can understand that we have to listen to ads. But disabling the rewind/ listen to previous music and canceling the feature that we can listen to our own playlist is like killing the enjoyment of using your app!!! Shuffling music and getting me out of my own playlist is a big mistake. Thats too much. I think I’m going old school. Downloading music directly to my phone will be much better that using your app. ——————————— كنت من المحبين لإستخدام تطبيق انغامي، ممكن نتفهم ان يجب الاشتراك للاستمتاع في حال الاوف لاين، او عدم السماع للاعلانات. ولكن الغاء خاصيه الرجوع للأغاني السابقه او اعاده الاغاني كانت مزعجه، والحين، مانقدر نسوي قائمه اغاني خاصه فيننا. فعلاً اصبح الطابع العام مادّي في التطبيق.

Almost there!. Hi, developers! Really loving the app. I just wish there were one more tweak, then it would be the perfect streaming app. Now, you can group the songs in your Likes by genre, “Forgotten”, etc.., but I’d really like to listen to them all! Problem is, when the first song finishes, it plays the song after it according to the original song list, not the current one with the genre filter on it. I really hope you fix it soon🙏🏻

New Update Nothing Works Anymore.. The app used to work just fine but after the new update I can’t listen to my liked playlist because I keep pressing on it and nothing happens. This issue is also with more than one option because nothing happens if I press on another playlist to play it! I hope those bugs gets fixed.

Unpleasant experience. The app WAS great, but now the new "oh you can't rewind" "subscribe and say goodbye to ads" is actually making me so annoyed while using the app, I sometimes subscribe but I don't think I'll be doing that anymore, annoying users like that will only make them feel the app is not worthy of their money, you have to be nice to me for me to pay for the subscription, not annoy me and bombard me with ads and not allowing to comfortably listen to my music. Using anghami has become a totally unpleasant experience, I kind of feel disrespected and fooled by the way the app functions without subscription!!!!

Crashes. I’ve been using the app for about 6 month now and everything is great... until today At least... I couldn’t enter the app and did everything to try and get it to work back. Now i have to delete it and download it back which will make me lose all of my songs... and can you keep some cussing words too plz?? Like the sound effects are terrible and i am sure a lot of people would love to listen to the Bad words. Thx

Desperately trying to get you to pay. The old anghami was way better than the new one. I understand that they need to pay the artist, but they already have ads on there. They disabled the rewind button just because they want us to update to plus. I didn’t have a problem with it until they started playing my music on shuffle which means that I cannot choose which song to play next, and they literally say that we will stop doing that when you get anghami plus. What kind of joke is this? Some people cannot afford getting it or just cannot, stop pushing it down our throats 😡

Anghami plus subscribtion problem. I used to love anghami and make it my first app for listening music and tell my friends about this app but when i subscribed to anghami plus they took the money and after one day of the subscription they unsubscribe me from anghami plus and asked me to pay another month to get anghami plus again ..... I don’t know how that happened .... really i am so disappointed from anghami .... i really changed my mind about anghami and I can’t trust them anymore ..... very disappointing ...... i really want to give five stars for this app because i really love this app but after what they done i gave this app only one star

Once you go plus, you never go back!. Great great app, every playlist is names perfectly for each mood. nothing is missing. if i were to request one thing to be fixed or modified it would be my weekly playlist, its not bad but i would like some more diversity specially since i stopped listening to the genre im getting for some time. other than that i love anghami!

A smoother user experience at last. The problem with Anghami has always been about how buggy the app is with navigation and downloaded music to the degree where I wondered if the subscription fee is worth paying, just updated the app to what it was promised to be smoother and somehow it is Anghami is still trying to be everything at once and that caused all the pain focus guys there is nothing wrong with being a good music app at first.

Better than Apple Music. Problem is that Apple Watch does not work well at all.. the interface in the watch is always a black screen, does not work, on the newest devices... Please fix!! Great app - Has everything Apple Music has plus great mixtapes and customised music for each person. Also more Arabic/Regional selection. Great work Anghami team..

select tool. the app is perfect. It’s only missing one thing: an advanced select tool where you can select a huge number of songs at the same time from downloads and NOT from recently played; this is mostly an issue for people who organize all their music to playlists, like myself. Please do something about this. Great job on everything else.

Most convenient. As a bilingual, this is the best music app so far. It has the biggest collection of English & Arabic music and the monthly subscription is the least compared to biggest competitors who don’t even have similar collection. I like that it doesn’t use much data and you can download your collection and listen whenever you don’t have network or wifi

Great app, but sad controls. the app is great and I would’ve given it full 5 stars if not for the recent things happening, I can’t play the same song until 20 minutes later?! what?! I have to pay to play a song more than once? It just doesn’t make sense. Plus, when we weren’t able to scrub, we were ok and brushed it off, but I can’t play the song more than 1 time? Doesn’t seem very fair, but that’s my opinion. Please look into the situation.

Amazing free music. This app is literally amazing. You can listen to any music you want for free and if your like me and don’t have data they give you a playlist of the music you like in an offline playlist. Plus when it your birthday they give you 15 days free of the advanced option which is Anghami plus! Thank you Anghami team for making an amazing app

Paid Subscription Not working. I spent days trying to login to my paid account but there is no way to access it. When I login with my email address “ sane apple ID” I see the free version and ask for free trial. I am unable to access my downloads and saved music. Tried to restore it nothing work, submitted couple requests for support with no response. Very disappointed! Terrible App

Top app but... (the latest update). Amazing app for music and especially middle easterners and people who listen to arab music. SADDLY the last update kind of ruined it. It’s less practical and even though it might seem easier to use, it’s actually much more complicated. But that doesn’t mean I’ll change my music app or anything, they’ll soon get another update that’ll fix this “issue”.

Terrible updates!. I used to love Anghami and support it so much and I always told people about it but now I hate how with every update they keep adding the restrictions to people without subscriptions (paying people). It used to be only listening and seeing ads which was acceptable because that covers the costs but now you cannot even rewind and playback which is absolutely ridiculous and unsatisfactory!

Great app but missing country personal dj. Hi anghami , Im an avid anghami user and subscriber. I like how you incorporated new and local based upcoming artists. And over the past few months noticed a big improvement in the app overall. Now to the constructive feedback part. 1) country and folk music genre personal dj: Country is not a subgenre for it not to have its own standing, understandably there are country playlists but to have a cooking personal dj and not a country personal dj is a bit ridiculous 2) i find the algorithm for autoplay of radio of similar songs can be off by a lot of really unrelated songs , or a repetition of songs , sometimes one artist is played 4 times in a row Thank you for working on this app , best of luck with everything u guys are getting into, please add country personal dj 😩

iPad App. I like the flexibility of taking Anghami Plus subscription with me no matter which device I’m using. However, the iPad app is unusable with a lot of key features missing. The absence of the landscape orientation is a bummer, especially that the early Anghami versions on iPad came with horizontal interface. Finally, I’d like to see Anghami using the slide over multitasking interface. The iPad now allows you to have multiple apps open on the screen at the same time, and it makes much sense that I’d want to control my music while working in another app.

Excellent value for money. I really like the layout and search feature. My only request (not a complaint, mind you) is that you feature more old Khaliji songs/artists; it baffles me that your library has SOME Mostafa Ahmed but not any of Shady Al-Khalij! I'm really into old Khaliji songs (nostalgia due to my growing up in the 70s and 80 in Kuwait) Can you extend your Arabic songs library to include these old classics from the Gulf like your Egyptian and Lebanese songs? Thank you

Okay. So the app needs serious improvement. For example editing big playlists is very hard. My playlist has 350 songs in it. Each time I want to delete a song I should scroll through the whole list to find it. You cannot search for it. You can search but that will be only to play the song. Other feature I’d like to see in the app is to see the release date of each song. Another feature is a list of the most played songs in Anghami of all time.
