Great App!. Wasn’t aware i was snoring til someone pointed it out. This app records the sounds during one’s sleep and i was shocked to discover that i snored loudly 1/4 of the time I’m asleep! I tried different modalities of treatment and this app helped me find out which ones work for me. Think subscribing to unlock all features is fairly priced, though you’d get the necessary functions with the free version. Sure it records any noise as snoring (frankly it’s asking too much for the app to differentiate snoring from other noises) but you can easily edit it to get the correct snoring score. I’d recommend this app to anyone who aren’t sure if they’re snoring or not.

Very useful and getting better. I rarely spend money on apps, but after using the free version occasionally, I decided $10 was not much to invest in trying to improve my sleep. The recordings are very useful in experimenting with different snoring solutions or factors that play into snoring (eating, alcohol etc). The developers are constantly enhancing the app. I’m even using the nature sounds to fall asleep to (my snoring scores seem reduce when I do). One thing I discovered is that my wife snores also, but it’s fairly easy to distinguish between the two of us in the recordings. One suggestion would be to add that to the factors selection (spouse/partner in bed).

Great app, but my dog spoiled it. So the app works great, as long as your room is quiet all night. It listens for sound, so this makes perfect sense. However, my husband has a sound machine (crickets is his favorite sound), and it picked that up as “light snoring”. Also, my outside dog barks sometimes (especially at the full moon - she isn’t a werewolf, though, I promise.). It picked that up as “epic snoring”. So my scores weren’t accurate and I had to listen to each recording to figure out what was me and what was other loud stuff. Idk if it’s possible to technologically mute out certain sounds, like, tell the app “This sound is my dog - ignore it”, but that would be great. But for a free app, it works fine and is easy to use if you sleep in a really quiet environment!

Excellent. Really great app to understand how to minimize snoring. After 30 days with different remedies, I could really see what reduces snoring and what doesn’t. I found, from least to most effective, were: (no treatment), Smart Nora, sleeping on my side, and CPAP. For loud snoring, CPAP led to less than 1/2 as much as Smart Nora. None of the example graphs on this App site show it, but you can do graphs comparing the effectiveness of different remedies, which is very helpful. Snore Lab needs improvement in distinguishing snoring sounds from background noise such as sheets rustling, partner walking to bathroom, street noise, etc, all of which is logged as loud or “epic” snoring, and even the fan on CPAP, which is logged as “light” snoring. Those sounds seem so distinct, surely a bit more acoustic processing can distinguish them from snoring, which would give more accurate results.

Very helpful app. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea over 10 years ago and could not understand how that was possible when I didn’t sleep the entire night. The room was very cold and the bed quite uncomfortable. I got this app and noticed that I was in the range between one and three every night. But 2x it jumped up to 11 when once I was watching Netflix in bed and something within the dialogue of the show I was watching caused the recording part of this app to mark it as an Epic snore. The other time my husband was downstairs and was coughing and this time the app recorded it as a Loud snore. Both times I was already awake and realize that from now on I need to turn the recording part off whenever I get out of bed or am still in bed but reading or watching something on my iPad. Otherwise I’ve very helpful and informative app!

Really? A “Tape Recorder”?. Most “noise canceling” headphones have algorithms that attenuate background noise. You’d think an app designed to isolate and analyze snoring would have similar algorithms to filter out air conditioner and other spurious noise. If this app has any such capability, it must be well hidden. After one night of use, I can definitely say I recorded hours of air conditioner humming, tons off coughs, rustling blankets, cough drop wrappers, and an excursion to the bathroom. Oh, and also my wife snoring while I lay awake taking notice! Now, I can cut the developers some slack in not differentiating two different snoring patterns (a little AI can help); but not even being capable to extract simple background noise? All the window dressing on this app doesn’t make up for missing the basic requirement of isolating snoring from other sounds. In any other forum would be referred to as “lipstick on a pig”. I guess the silver lining is you can also use this app as a dictation machine, or to record client meetings. It makes for a great general purpose tape recorder. Now what about an app that REALLY isolates snoring, instead of making you do all the work?

Epic!!!. This app is really amazing and these are not just empty words! It is easy to use and the results are clear and simple, giving an excellent indication of your snore score for the night but also graphs on your pattern over the days and weeks. It has given me the opportunity to test out some nose sprays, throats sprays, steaming etc., to see if any of these helped and I now have a better idea of what method is most effective. I tried another to compare but it just didn’t match up. After using the free option for 2 months now and between my husband and I having benefited greatly at no cost to ourselves, I have decided to buy the upgrade as this app truly deserves the accolades and support! Thank you to the developers for an excellent app!

Worth it. Highly recommend. The best part is that you can track remedies as you try them to see what is working. I was getting scores in the 25-30 range and now scores are consistently 5-10 — and more importantly, I’m sleeping much better. Everyone is different but what works for me (58 yo woman): breathe easy strip on my nose, a device to keep me off my back and on my side all night, a firmer pillow for side sleepers, gargling with salt water at night ( allergies), and doing the yoga pose legs up wall for 8-10 min before bed. Really grateful to have feedback to figure this out, to solve the problem at its root, and avoid an uncomfortable device.

Mad and frustrated. I want to apologize for my resent rant against SnoreLab and Apple for making me pay for something I cannot use. I read the developers response and have chosen to believe they don’t have the ability to give a refund whereas I believe if they would have gone to Apple on my behalf regarding a refund for my subscription, it may have made a difference. But most importantly, I would not want to persuade someone to not use app especially with the risk of obstructive and central sleep apnea. Finding out as early as possible that you have it can keep you from developing serious disease or from dying much younger then you have to. Developer, I am sorry if I have kept someone from getting your app. However, I do feel that you do have the ability to help a customer whom your app is not working because they have central sleep apnea, you could. I edited my app solely because I would not to harm anyone by keeping them from using your app to discover they may have sleep apnea.

Excellent App. I have a problem with sleep apnea as well as severe dry mouth at night, and Snore Lab has been invaluable in helping me to understand which sleep aids work best and what I’m really doing during sleep. I couldn’t believe how loud it was until I got this app! It’s controls are intuitive and well-designed. This is one of the few IOS apps I can give an unqualified 5 stars! I almost didn’t renew it annually after getting one those huge $2500 mouth dental devices, but after finding I couldn’t sleep with it no matter how much they ground it down, I’m really glad I renewed Snore Guard, because I needed to keep all my previous data. ($4 rolls of mouth tape are helping a lot!) I believe I’m getting better from using their companion exercise app Snore Gym too. I hope this is helpful.

No more snoring!. OMG! I looked at my results this morning of my app to find that I didn’t snore once last night! This app is the best tool to determine if you snore and how to figure out what method or devise or application works to eliminate snoring. I have been trying to determine what causes my snoring for 6 months. Each evening I’d try a different device or a different method and check my results in the morning. Last night I tried using just nasal strips and this morning I looked at my results and saw that I didn’t snore once through the night! My recommendation is to try just one possible solution, be it a device or whatever to slowing eliminate that one if your morning results are poor. Keep changing one after another each night and you will finally determine what’s best for you. The app offers many options, including their new: mouth exercises to help your fund the perfect solution. Just keep trying until you find the perfect combination to end your snoring.

Thanks SnoreLab! Got my life back.. Five years ago using SnoreLab, I discovered that I snore like a pig. I got a sleep study for sleep apnea, and discovered I had borderline severe sleep apnea and needed a CPAP. After adjusting to the CPAP, I no longer woke up with brain busting headaches and no longer suffered through days of fatigue and exhaustion which had been going on for years. And also no longer going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out what on earth was wrong with me l, with not one of them suggesting a sleep study. Sleep apnea doesn’t just affect your heart. It damages all your organs from lack of oxygen including your brain. This also explained my cognitive difficulties. The good news is the brain will usually recover after about a year on CPAP. This app led to me getting my life back and probably saved my life. I still use it every night. Thanks SnoreLab!

Not just for snoring. I have regular, very intense nightmares. Almost nightly. I’ve been told I talk in my sleep and I have woken up crying multiple times. after my daughter came into my room and heard me talking in my sleep, she told me I said “don’t hit her, she’s a 75 year old lady!” I knew then that I had to hear what I was saying for myself. I found this app and I was sold. I use it every night and every morning I hear myself say something. I love that I can save clips, and it is fascinating knowing what I say. My only recommendation would be to make it allow users to download and send those clips to their doctors (or anyone they want). Thank you for solving a problem I didn’t think there was a solution for!

Interesting. Before a professionally made dental appliance, I rated as high as 70. Now, I'm under 10 most nights. As a review the recordings in the morning, I see many of the highs are actually breathing, coughing, or movement. It would be nice to clearly denote these spikes as non-snoring events and then recalculate the Snore Score. I sometimes wake in the middle of the night, can't return to sleep for hours -- so I stop the recording vs pausing. Pausing seemed to obscure my actual time asleep. I do then restart a new sleep session when I eventually go back to sleep. Therefore, some nights I may have 2-3 recording sessions. Whilst having bought a yearly subscription, I can't imagine recording, monitoring, and reviewing every day. It was good to see pre and post dental appliance and how various factors change your Snore Score. However, once you have these baselines, I can imagine using the app maybe only on a monthly basis. Finally, not really app related, I'm always exhausted in the morning regardless of a high or low score. Granted I do feel better if I don't awake, get 6-8 hours of sleep, and a low score. However, I haven't found the magical solution yet to my exhaustion: too much caffeine, not enough exercise, or hidden sleep apnea (which maybe isn't identified in Snore Scores or recordings).

I regret my upgrade to 1 year after free beer. Premium version has a few extras but the sound/ recording quality of my samples is terrible. The app picks up any background noise and seems to use that as a baseline. So I still get maybe a little handful of samples but a car driving by or airplane flying overhead, doors closing elsewhere in the house and even my cat using the litter box in the adjacent bathroom come in loud and clear. I had to stop using my air purifier at night if I wanted to get any snore samples at all. Even on the lowest setting way across the room this app will pick up white noise and entirely miss every any human noise. I slept with my phone next to my head and the white noise and outside sounds were still dominating my recordings. Wasted my money on full year subscription based on great reviews and added features, which aren’t worth the price. I want a refund or partial refund please.

Surprised. I’ve been snoring for years. To the point that I have cracked a few teeth. I never realized my dental issues were due to mouth breathing while sleeping. This app along with its sister app snore gym litterally stopped my snoring in DAYS. Like 3 days to be exact. The first night I basically just went to bed and listened.. it was embarrassing how much I snored. Basically from the second I fell asleep to when I woke up and I’m talking LOUD snores where you hear the Huck noise. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 8 years and never shared a room because of this. The app gives you remedies which I HIGHLY suggest you look into. Some of which seem really silly.. like mouth tape. Well mouth tape, a breathe right strip and the snore gym exercises got mg snoring down to 4 minutes of light nose snores a night. I am shocked! And very much looking forward to fixing my dental issues for good. Could not be more grateful and absolutely had to give a review after seeing such amazing progress (and all during a free trial!)

Good app. I had a sleep study done and the recommendation was a Cpap or dental appliance. I chose the dental appliance because I didn’t want hoses and tubes bothering me while I slept. The DDS recommended SnoreLab to see how well the appliance worked. I downloaded the app and really liked the data. I didn’t realize after the trial you couldn’t record on consecutive nights. Liking the data so much I didn’t hesitate to buy the app. I would highly recommend this app to anyone that wants to track their sleep patterns. Very helpful in making sleep corrections and seeing the results. Only drawback I have to say is the Bluetooth not being able to be used once a session is started. A few times I have forgotten about this and have not gotten a night of recording. I really like waking up in the morning to look at my score to see how I slept.

Objective data for better sleep. I’ve snored for many years, but I never realized the impact it had on sleep quality. After learning that sleep apnea and snoring cause behavioral disturbances such as irritability, I wanted to know if I was impacted. I talked to a pulmonary specialist who does sleep studies, and he recommended SnoreLab. My snore scores were significantly elevated between 50 and 75. I looked up remedies and tried a chin strap, which didn’t help. Then I asked my dentist to make me an oral retainer that advances my mandible. This had a huge impact, causing my scores to drop dramatically down to below five. I feel much better rested each morning. I highly recommend this app to anyone who snores.

Great Tool. This is a great tool to use, it gives you an idea if you also have sleep apnea in my opinion when you hear yourself gasping for air. I would then highly suggest going on keto or a low carb, lifestyle. For someone being skinny, dropping 10 lbs made a huge difference, not just on loud I snore, but also how much energy I have, and how clear my mind is throughout the whole day. Also highly highly suggest cutting out one meal as well, either breakfast or dinner!! That’s IF or intermittent fasting. Google or you tube it, as sadly we over consume when it comes to a lot of things in life!!! Good luck..

Excellent, useful app!. What a GREAT app. My wife and I both use oral applicances to deal with mild cases of sleep apnea and the SnoreLab app has been great to help us understand how things are going. It would be great if we could each have it running on our own side of the bed, but we are sleeping apart enough (travel!) that we typically can tell where the noise is coming from!!! Without SnoreLab we'd still be clueless. We use it every night. Second big benefit is how it prevents incoming email/text/etc notifications from alerting us while it is running. No need to silence alarms or shut off the phone. Peace and quiet all night long (except for my wife's snoring!). Thank you SnoreLab!

Review. Love seeing how much snoring I have with and without CPAP. I was getting an oral device to try in place of CPAP. I didn’t care much for the oral piece, I continued to snore but less than without CPAP. I didn’t like how in the morning my jaw was shifted to the right. You do need to realign your front teeth to be sure your back teeth Touch. It can also cause permanent change to your teeth. (It’s in the information the sleep apnea dentist gives you. Should’ve talked to my orthodontist first. She said she’s seen multiple jaw and mouth adjustments and all sorts of conditions. After $3000 for an oral airway I continued to snore. With just the CPAP no snoring. I agree it’s a great app. Just do your research before investing in oral airways vs CPAP. In fact I was told I may need to use both. App is great.

Very functional. I paid up for the premium version and am glad I did. It is a straightforward "works exactly as it should" app. The microphone is extremely sensitive, so a sneeze in the kitchen may well show up as an "epic" event. But you can tell the app that wasn't snoring. I use a mechanical wind-noise generator to smooth out any sharp, sudden noises, and the app faithfully records that, and the ticking of the ceiling fan, and the birds at dawn, and the toilet flushing.... all marked 'not snoring". So when it does catch snoring, I feel like I should pat it on the head for being so patient with my sound environment. Highly recommend for those curious as to what they get up to while asleep.

Easy to use, nice interface, not very accurate. I started using this app because I wanted to optimize my sleep and see if I was having any difficulty breathing in my sleep (in the past I have been someone who snores, but that was many years ago, and I do not have apnea nor require cpap). It's a useful app in that it very effectively records the entire night (however creepy that might sound). However its reporting of snoring is not very accurate. I live in an urban area, and it identifies noises that aren't even very loud, like a car driving down my street, as snoring. Presumably because it is louder than the sound of my breathing (one of the useful features of this app is that it is sensitive enough to notice regular breathing rhythms, so I've been grateful to learn that I am actually breathing well). So it's useful for examining your breathing, but it's not very accurate at detecting snoring in an environment that has random ambient sounds.

Not helpful if you don’t sleep alone in a quiet room. I wish I’d read the critical reviews and their response before paying for a premium trial. I also sleep with a partner and don’t have a really quiet room. A fan, traffic, dogs, my partner’s snoring all get picked up and make my “snore score” pretty useless. All their responses to reviews say it works best in quiet rooms, but some people just don’t or can’t have quiet rooms to sleep. I have it 1’ from my head, so I’m not sure why the sensitivity can’t be decreased to eliminate the sounds that are further away. I also thought that if I went through the recordings every night I could mark the ones that weren’t snoring in order to eliminate them from my score and get better data, but it doesn’t work that way. I can mark them as not snoring but that doesn’t seem to accomplish anything. I’m also really frustrated that I can’t seem to delete excerpts that include us talking in the middle of the night or before we fall asleep.

Snooze function is not working since iOS 11.2. The snooze function is not working since the iOS update to 11.2. I have overslept twice since only the initial alarm goes off and then nothing follows sound wise. I see on the screen that the snooze is going off but it allows no sound from either the iPhone alarm or the snooze from within the app. Before this I thought this was a 5 star app, but now I can barely say it is worth one if using it causes me to be late for work. The program is almost unusable if it prohibits snooze from the iPhone alarm or from the app alarm clock. I almost want a refund because of this issue. Actually I think I have had the app for less than 30 days. If I can’t trust my phone to wake me up while using this app, I can’t use it.

Interesting but strange data collected. Hi, so I love using the white noise to fall asleep but I have questions about how it decides what to record and what not to accord. I talk in my sleep and it collects some of that but not where I woke up screaming from a nightmare? It also can’t distinguish between my partner and my snoring. How does it know what to skip and not record? There are moments when my partner says I snore loudly a sf he’ll look at the clock to mark the time but when we listen for the playback and inevitably it won’t have recorded that time stamp. Plus randomly it’ll record someone closing a cabinet or dropping a fork in the kitchen sink down the hall behind closed doors. I like using it but I don’t like the random of what’s recorded in the “samples” playback. Am I doing something wrong?

What’s that sound. I was told that I snore by my husband. As soon as he told me this I called my doctor and he got me referred to a clinic for a sleep study and my journey began. I have mild apnea so I was prescribed a CPAP machine at first I was having a lot of trouble adjusting to the machine. My face hurt, I had pressure in my chest, I was having dry mouth and my nostrils where dry and painful. Then I started having eye pain which I did realize at the time but later would be cluster headaches. Then the last thing that happened that made me say no more was I woke up and the CPAP hose was around my neck so much that I did know how to get myself unraveled. One day I was driving in town and saw a sign outside a dentist office. The sign said CPAP not working for you. I said YES , but didn't call right away but when I did call to find out what it was about what they offered. I was so pleased that there where options out there and I had stumbled upon mine. Well the dentist recommended me to do a trail of sleep lab and once I did it for several days I was hooked. So that was that the app is great for tracking how long I sleeping to how long I was snoring to how loud my snoring was. Sometimes it’s hard to listen to my self snoring but the mouth device is working and I don’t have to be restricted with the CPAP. I recommend to a friend that snores.

For the Stubborn Snorer. I’ve been telling my husband for years he snores. It has gotten so bad in recent years that we sleep many nights apart. I always felt this impaired our relationship. Enter SnoreLab and SnoreGym. He finally agreed to do some exercises with SnoreGym, the companion app. I bought it and once money was involved, he agreed to do the “silly exercises”. I then urged him to try SnoreLab so he could see if the exercises made any difference. His first night of use he scored in the high 200s and was blown away. He went back and listened, surprised to hear how epic his own snoring is. I was exonerated from “crazy sensitive sleeper” status as he realized he is actually quite loud. A few weeks later with SnoreGym, his snore score is down to the 50s. We are able to sleep in the same room again! This is the fulfillment of the promise of technology improving our lives. An added bonus: after buying pro, he realized that he is not getting as much sleep as he thought (it tracks your hours) and put that together with how drained he feels throughout the day. This has led to him making a real effort to get to bed earlier and truly wind down. All of this with minimal prompting from me because he can finally see on his phone how poorly he was sleeping. Amazing apps, worth every penny.

Help me diagnose my sleep apnea. My wife kept telling me that I have sleep apnea. I didn’t believe her. I thought I just snored. I found this app and discovered that I quit breathing up to 30 seconds multiple times per night. I bought an oximeter which helped verify that my oxygen levels were plummeting during these moments of not breathing. That got me to the doctor and got me the help I need. I later found out that my sleep apnea had probably been responsible for a cardiac failure a few years before. Now, with a CPAP, I feel much more confident about my health. What a great little app. It adds good information without having to go to a sleep lab.

Great App. I use this app every night when I go to sleep. I have been for many years. I have it set up to record the whole night, rather than just the snoring events just to gauge the noise while I am sleeping. It works great, I know when I wake up and I am still very tired, I look at the results and typically there are a lot of snore events and my snore score is higher. I say typically because some nights we just don’t sleep well even if there aren’t any snore events. I definitely would purchase this app again and I do recommend it to anyone looking to track your sleep.

White noise makes this app a hassle. The first time I used this app it was fine, it picked up and marked my snores accurately and gave me a low snore score. That first time I used it with a small desk fan siting right next to my phone on my nightstand but it didn’t mark that sound as snoring. The second night I moved my phone to sitting on the right side of my bed, thinking maybe it would pick up more without the fan right next to it. This time, somehow, it picked up the fan noise and marked the entire night as light snoring because of it. I had to go through 9 hours of recordings in 30 second increments and mark 95 percent of them ‘not snoring’ to get an accurate count. So if you have an air purifier, fan, or other white noise beware the app may not be very in accurate for you.

They listen all the time and sell your info. I downloaded this app to try it out. It seems to work well for the snoring part. Then I started to get all sorts of ads for stuff I was talking about during the day pop up on my computer. Went to my privacy settings and snore lab was the only thing with mic access. It tells me that they are listening all the time and selling the stuff to advertising companies. ***Update. They sent me a message that they don’t track unless a session is active and then an article on digital advertising. While the article was an interesting read, and they were blaming either someone I work with and somehow another app knew they were talking to me or I googled something….I will say that it was not a random coincidence that 4 different random things that have to do with work popped up on my browser. Never googled the stuff we were talking about because we have warehouse stock the guys can grab stuff from. Coincidentally once I deleted the app, it all stopped. Maybe it was someone else or crazy digital advertising. All I can speak to is what I saw and experienced. My mic didn’t have any other permissions and it all coincided with this app.

I Don’t Snore. That’s what I kept telling my family - but they insisted I kept them awake at night from my “epic” snoring which unfortunately this app not only confirmed but recorded as well. “Epic” is what the app labeled it and no one in my family disagreed. I had consistent snore scores in the upper 100s and even a few low 200s. Needless to say sleep test confirmed severe apnea. Used my new CPAP machine last evening for the first time and went from a snore score of 209 to 12 yes a 12. The only noise the app recorded was my breathing. This app really gives you a clear picture of your level of sleep and how snoring can effect you.

Doesn’t work. I snore and have sleep apnea. I’m working with my doctor to see what works for my apnea by using this app. The problem is that this app doesn’t work effectively. It picks up either every other noise in the room (fans on the other side of the room, me tossing and turning, a motorcycle driving by the house) or it picks up nothing. It almost never picks up my actual snoring even though my partner affirms I am snoring. I have tried this in different areas of my bedroom: sometimes on the table next to me and sometimes on the bed right near my pillow. No difference. Then, I did a mini experiment and slept without the mouth guard one night. I KNOW I have apnea and snore. Nothing. It picked up nothing on a night I chose not to treat my apnea. Inaccurate is putting it mild. This app is probably only good to use if you want to record other things happening in your bedroom at night that are unrelated to snoring. Hard pass on this app.

I’m not mad, just disappointed.... This rating isn’t for the product, but for the marketing. I understand everyone needs to make a living, and although I don’t agree with the price for the full features, it is not a problem to charge money for your remarkable work on this program. Where I take issue is with the way it is presented as a “free” or “lite” version, until it is locked out of regular use, presumably to frag the daily results so as not to circumvent the unpaid version’s locked graphing data. I may have failed to read fully the app description, or I’ve missed the fine print, but this appears to be a trial version in disguise as a “lite” version. Again, I have no problem with either approach, but this app seems to want its cake while eating it by running as a mixture of both types. Of course, I can’t tell you how to market this app, but if a free trial download, unlimited use for 5-7 days would be nice, as well as a clear and upfront disclaimer. If a lite version, then leaving specific features locked while allowing otherwise unhindered use is ideal. But personally, I don’t know if I’m the target demographic to purchase this app at the current price, since I’m pretty cheap, albeit a fair reflection of the work you’ve put in.

I Don’t Snore!. When a potential roommate asked if I snored, I said I didn’t know. The assumption was if no one ever told me then I probably didn’t. That’s when I decided to find out and selected this app. I was shocked when I woke up the next morning and saw that I do snore. I would have never known had I not used this app. The app offers suggestions to help with the reduction/elimination of your snoring. I’ve tried a few remedies and have seen a reduction on certain nights. I’d like to invest in this “egg” contraption, but the price is too steep for now. I did upgrade and paid $9 bucks to remove ads and increase storage space. I think the app is extremely helpful. The data is accumulative and can be presented to medical professionals. Good app!

Game changer. I have used this app for 2 years now and it has been a game changer. I was able to figure out what helped reduce my snoring and what didn’t. My snore scores went from in the hundreds to single digits. I keep monitoring it just to ensure it stays low. Everyone who snores could benefit from this app — best app I have ever purchased. Without this app I would never have known that propping my head & shoulders up at night (a bit higher than a wedge pillow) AND...having a fan blow on me (yes!) would be all I needed to virtually stop snoring. I discovered the fan helped quite by accident and because of this app. And, no, it’s not the white noise (altho that might be part of it) but the actual movement of the air. No idea why this works. Also, the noise of the fan is NOT drowning out the sound of my snoring. That is not why my score is so low now. It is low because I am virtually no longer snoring and I owe it all to this app.

No longer able to curate audio events. The latest update doesn’t allow you to set an audio event as “not snoring” from the main waveform overview. Instead, you have to go thru a list of 374 recorded audio events on a separate screen, one by one, which is painstaking and entirely impractical. Now I can’t remove false positives, for instance when I move around in bed or get up at night. Without the curation, my snore score is no longer accurate. Thanks for degrading the functionality of your #1 tool. It was working fine before the latest update. Also, now when I press stop on the audio from the main page, it closes the audio view and I lose my place in the 8 hour waveform. In order to return to where I was, I have to hunt and peck in the waveform to find out where I was. This is frustrating and impractical. The app was working fine, why was it changed to make it unusable?

Frustrated snorer finally finds relief!. I’m a petite female side-sleeper who doesn’t smoke and rarely drinks alcohol, yet my highest snore score was 92(16% epic, 19% loud!). I had a sleep study about a decade ago and they just told me I did in fact snore—no sleep apnea though. With this app I was able to quantify my snoring and quickly narrow down the causes. My lowest scores (2 & 3) were nights I inadvertently skipped dinner! That 92? I ate a greasy burger and fries that day. I’ve been adjusting my diet and sleeping on a mattress elevator—now my snore score is consistently under a 10 rather than over 60-90. I also appreciate that I have data to show my doctor. Thanks so much for this helpful app.

Definitely the best snoring app out right now. So, I decided to try this app because my daughters both said I snore very loudly. Unbeknownst to me. I didn’t know that I snored at all. I decided to look into different apps for snoring and this was the first one that I tried. After the first night I realized I snore, pretty loud and quite often while I sleep After the first three days the app locks, and you have to skip a night before it will unlock and record again. So, I decided to download a different snore app and use that on the in between days Those apps did record my snoring, but they weren’t as good as SnoreLab. I tried other apps for about a week, and then gave up and decided it was better to have every other day usage, then using other apps and receiving hundreds of pop-ups asking me to buy their app. It was quite annoying. Sticking with SnoreLab I learned that sleeping on my back is what causes most of my snoring and I need to get a mouthguard. Snore lab gives a lot of great advice and articles about snoring, constructive ways to solve or at least lessen the snoring. I downloaded SnoreGym and do the exercises pretty consistently, and I truly believe they help. I highly recommend SnoreLab and SnoreGym!

Nearly Perfect. I always thought I didn’t snore. I would usually drag around when I got up, but I thought I just wasn’t a morning person. I read about the dangers of sleep apnea, so I got this app to prove to myself how well I was sleeping. It was a shock to listen to the recording from that first night! It wasn’t so much about snoring as it was how my breathing would squeak like I had a partial airway obstruction. I bought a wedge pillow and no longer sleep on my back. The change was dramatic. My sleep is now quiet and uninterrupted. I also now feel much more rested in the mornings. I was lucky that simple changes made such a big difference, but it wouldn’t have happened without SnoreLab. Highly recommended!

Works well!. I decided to take a scientific approach to my lifelong snoring. I’m 44F, and downloaded the app after deciding to try a septum clip to see if I could low key improve the snoring. The data is really cool, and it will let me easily track and evaluate myself as I slowly change variables, such as the nose clip, new pillow, allergy meds etc. THE ONLY problem I have, and it’s a big one, is that my alarm app will not function and activate my alarm when this app is running. That’s kind of a big deal. I have a third party alarm app because the iPhone stock clock app does not do what I need for an alarm. And unfortunately the SnoreLab app supersedes my Alarmy app which is…. Really frustrating. I’m trying to find a workaround but so far nothing has worked to let me run snore lab at night AND have a functioning morning alarm on my phone at the same time.

Amazing technology!. This app is amazing! Whoever invented this is a genius! My snoring caused problems in my marriage and on overnight girl’s trips. In the past I had tried a regular mouthpiece, snore extinguisher spray, sleeping on my side, etc. But when you are asleep, you don’t hear your snoring! This app allowed me to record and listen to my snoring and helped me adjust accordingly by monitoring the different results with remedies. I found that the Snore RX mouthpiece is far and above any other! It adjusts and holds your jaw in place while others give too much slack and lose their usefulness. Paired with a wedge pillow, I got my snore score from a whopping 109 down to an 11. Thank you for this amazing technology! I can now sleep sound knowing I am not annoying anyone else and I sleep better. 😃

Snore No Mo. I’m 67 and didn't know that i snore until someone told me. I bought this app and it has changed my life. My first score was a whopping 80! I was appalled when i listened to my “epic” snoring. I realized then why I was waking up so many times during the night and why I was always so tired. I’ve been using the app for just 13 days and my scores have fallen to an average of 20, with 2 days under 10! It does also pick up my husband’s snoring but I can tell the difference in sound. You should try to sleep alone until you get yourself straightened out, if possible. It’s well worth it to buy the premium. The suggested solutions that worked for me were breathe Right nasal strips and mouth tape. Now i sleep through the night, my husband’s Apple Watch comments on how well he is sleeping now, and we both feel so much better. Life changing!

Mini sleep lab at home. I have recommended this app so many times. Anyone who snores should at least try this app out. It’s basically a miniature sleep study you can do every night in the comfort of your home. Then check back to see if you catch any instances where there’s more than 10 seconds between snores. That’s an apnea event that you can take to your doctor and get into the sleep clinic ASAP. Note that this is NOT sufficient for a diagnosis, but it’ll get your dr’s attention. Or your loved one’s. I’ve used it for years, ever since I was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I monitor my CPAP use with it, as there are still rare times I take off my mask without realizing it. Extremely good app! I hope they continue to improve it, including with machine learning from individual user feedback to teach the app when the recordings are actually snoring vs. when it’s just a loud noise. I can tell at a glance if the recording is snoring or not, but the app just flags it all.

Awareness is Epic. The first step in changing an action is to recognize it. Using this App subconsciously tells your body that something is not quite right when you are sleeping. Within the first 5 nights of use my score dropped from an 82 down to a 29! Since then it has bounced a little bit and now I am focusing on my diet, actions, and habits before going to sleep. I am inherently a very active person and sometimes go from full throttle to zero mph! This has proven to have a negative effect on my quality of sleep. Pillows and bed clutter are other things one must consider before diving into apparatuses that may treat the symptom and not necessarily attack the causes. Thank you Snore Lab !!

Scary accuracy. Well, first let me start by saying the only reason I even got the SnoreLab app was I was told by a friend that I snore and I told my friend they were crazy. I haven’t snored a day in my life. Another friend told me about this app and I decided to try it out & yep I snore. Not only do I snore but I have a snoring pattern every night that I now chart & understand why I don’t rest well. I’m not a epic snoozer. I’m usually on the scale of 1 to 4. which is pretty soft in comparison I guess to what it could register. I keep it right on my nightstand & it literally picks up if I roll over in bed and there’s an very distinct difference between the snore and rolling over or moving around. It’s actually help me understand also why I don’t sleep well. I wake up on the hour every single hour because I gasp for air and I never knew I did that. So I probably should go in for a sleep study. Who knew, but I also found out I talk in my sleep. I wake up each morning and I find it comical and shocking to listen to my sleep recordings throughout the night. I highly recommend this app if you are trying to figure out your sleeping patterns or maybe why you’re not getting good rest or just a chart how loud you actually do snore. I promise you your wife isn’t lying to you!!! Lol or vice versa. Good luck and happy snores!!!

Great until I realize my score is combined w husband. Hi I raved about this app since I discovered it . I even showed it to my dentist who made me my custom mouthguard and he was impressed I can see the improvement of my snore and also see my score when I don’t wear my mouthguard . One day I did mouthguard , and snore pillow and added nose clip or breath rite so I was expected my score to go down even further . Instead it shoot up. I was suspicious so I asked my husband to show me his SnoreLab coz I convinced him to also use it . To my surprise we have identical graphs ha ha . We compared the last 3 days and indeed we have the same results but the numbers are slightly different . I was suspicious coz I woke up and yet my graph is still snoring . So it was working when my husbands snore was not so loud. It is still useful when the numbers are low but when the numbers are high it could mean both of us combined. Is there a way to distinguish between the two ? I thought it knows how do detect only the sound closest to the phone . If there’s a way to adjust or configure or set it up so only the closest sound is picked up pls inform. Perhaps we can teach the app on what to ignore . Otherwise this is not very helpful .

Works well in a quiet environment. SnoreLab helped me to discover and monitor my snoring, and also to learn how much tossing and turning I am doing in the night. It has worked well for me, but I think the price is high for an app, so I want to find a cheaper alternative. It works well at my home where the furnace is off for most of the night. It is almost useless when traveling and staying in a place where the furnace is noisy and runs frequently. I like it, but if my home was noisier, I would not use it. If it could somehow filter out furnace noises, that would be technically impressive and would make it useful in situations where it is now pointless.

Really did help me sleep better. After a few nights, I bought the $10 upgrade to this app. It’s both the most expensive app I’ve ever bought, and some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I have been experimenting with different types of anti-snore devices to see what works best and is most comfortable for me, and this app helped me quickly and objectively rate how effective they are at preventing me from snoring. The interface is easy, and it supports every feature I wanted. After spending literally thousands of dollars on sleep medicine doctors, I’m now sleeping better after using this app to help me choose between a few, comparatively inexpensive, over-the-counter remedies. This ended up far more effective than I had imagined (specifically for me, the tongue-retention class of device), and this app helped me do it in a couple of weeks (and I knew what was and was not working after each night!)

There is no option to cancel the subscription. I haven’t used snorelab very much and went to cancel my sub. Unfortunately in the subscription part of ios there is no option to cancel my sub. I have gone through the app on my phone as well as apple, but there is no option. I don’t want to be caught up in endless sun renewals I have tried to cancel from

Full version. Upgraded to the full version a week ago. This gives you a much more detailed insight into your sleep habits.

Quantifying snore problem!. Found this app recently and have found it very helpful to work out the nature and scale of our snoring with the added benefit that it offers a range of possible ways to address the problem -including allowing the efficacy of any solutions to be logged along with details of variations in individual behavior patterns. Definitely worthwhile and provides a valuable record to show our ENT physician

wrong pillows and blocked nose. it’s really great and my wife is really happy. I have identified that the things that cause me storing is that my head isn’t elevated enough, so using two pillows on angle has reduced it remarkably. on top of that I also put a little Vicks vapour rub my nose each evening and storing is down to less than 10%. she’s really happy.

Confronting but empowering. I’ve been using this app for 2+ years, ever since snoring very suddenly became an issue for me. My mum has terrible sleep apnea so I was really worried and wanted to find a solution quickly. I’ve done multiple sleep studies and tried using a variety of CPAP machines, but nothing gave me as much useful feedback as just consistently tracking a number of lifestyle factors and snoring scores in this app. I’ve discovered that a woman’s hormonal and menstrual cycle has a huge impact on snoring patterns - this has been verified by the small amount of research my doctor and I have been able to find (half the population... but hardly any studies!). Weight loss/gain, alcohol and time of sleep also make big differences. I really recommend consistent tracking to help you figure out what works best for you - and also love the rain soundtrack option for falling asleep!

App won’t load. This all worked fine for the first week or so and was really useful but then after about 10 days it stopped loading and I can’t use it. I upgraded to premium and so now am paying for something that doesn’t work.

Easy to use. My hubby said I snored and I didn’t believe him. Well this app proved hubby right and me wrong! Who would have thought! It’s great if you need to seek further medical advice as you can show the doctors and they can hear for them selves. Highly recommended.

Not long enough.. My sleep clinic needs 10 days of using this app before an in hospital sleep study fitted with a mandibular splint. I was told I would have a month free, and I’m only in the 4th day and have been locked out. Very disappointing since I need the stats.

Much better nights sleep if not snoring. I live alone and I’m a mouth breather who was born with 60 % lung function. By using the app I have been able my identify triggers. And by reducing them (sugar, wheat and dairy) I have taken my score score from 54 (average 26) to between 1 and 5. If my sleep is a better quality my day is too. Thank you for this valuable app and happy that it works unplugged or plugged as I travel a lot and electricity outlets are often scarce.

Don’t bother. I installed yesterday. It won’t work if the phone is locked! My phone locks automatically. That explains why you have to leave it on charge all night and face down! Hard to believe in this day and age the developers couldn’t get around that one. This means I can’t listen to a podcast through earphones while falling asleep as is my routine. Unsubscribing right now.

This is the worst app ever. This app will not record your sleep if you have the white noise option on and will not record if you turn off your phone or if it turns off automatically like mine does. I have tried this for the past week and it has not recorded a single thing. Worst app I have ever tried. Don’t recommend it.

PEACE. Have been using the app for over a year now and during that period have made some lifestyle changes that’s effects can be easily seen and monitored via the app. I now have my snore score less than half of what it was when I started . It gives me peace of mind to be able to track my health and submit the results to my doctor.

Top Snoring App!. Love this app, can closely monitor how my application of snoring preventions (MAS, spray & nose strips) is reducing the amount of snoring. One feature I’d love to see is for it to be able to link to Heart Rate Monitors and Smart Watches to add that data to the picture. I’d love to know what my heart rate is doing when the snoring is at its worst.

Ripoff.. I Purchased the full version of this app over a year ago. With no in app purchases. The app used to Work well. I was disappointed when making the recent update. Having to find out the app now asked for in app purchases and now my full version app now is a basic one full of adds and limited usage. Oh and not to mention i lost all my recordings. I now have to pay for another new version with all the same offers I use to have. Total Rip off. 😡🤬

Great App. Chris Bunney from Home Sleep Studies Australia recommended I use this App and it helped me make my decision about being tested for sleep apnoea. I used it several times to monitor my sleep and snoring. The good news is I now sleep better because I do have issues with my breathing therefore it is a very important App as far as I’m concerned. Thanks for creating a great App. Silvana

Love SnoreLab. As background, I am 66, retired, reasonably healthy and have been fit and exercised most of my life. I have been using your premium app for some 8 weeks now. I was at my wits end and my wife was becoming chronically anxious due lack of sleep due to my often load snoring. My initial scores varied between 50 to 150. I had been trying various remedies over the years including nose vents, mouth devices, sprays, chin straps but to no lasting advantage. Your app changed all of that. I read your wonderful notes and advice and started trying remedies recording each night and learning what worked best me. My monthly average score has changed from 80 to 40 to 15 this month. I have learned that using a small back wedge pillow which I made together with a side sleeping memory foam pillow which I love, using some throat spray and a nasal saline wash at night plus loosing some 4 kg has changed my world and my wife’s. Thank you very much for this wonderful app and the positive change it can bring. The technology in this app is simply amazing.

2 years of recording. I have been using this app for 2 years. It’s been good the whole way through. It captures what I need. All you need to do it place it close by when you are sleeping.

Problem sleeping. This app has changed my life, not realising that I had apnea, seeing the results made me do a sleep study,I now use an apnea machine every night,it’s changed my whole life ,cheers Wayne

Life changing app. I have sleep apnoea. I have to use a CPAP machine to drive as it is on my licence. Thanks to SnoreLab I have discovered that when I walk for with moderate intensity for half an hour or more my snoring scores drop from 67 to 2 or 3 without using the dreaded CPAP. I’ll show these scores to my sleep specialist and hopefully get off the CPAP machine. It’s very detailed and flexible. The graphs give a very clear picture of any changes. Without this app I could have gone for the rest of my life without finding a cure. It’s empowered me to take control of my health. Many thanks to the developer!

Great diagnosis tool. This app firstly confirms you snore (although wife also provided strong testimony) but also let’s you mark what factors may make it worse or better, it then builds stats on what works and what doesn’t, I have cut my snoring in half just by trying different things and seeing the results, great value for money and very helpful.

Latest update loses one star. The latest update has gone backwards- no longer able to adjust the score to mark some noises as “not snoring” and no longer gives a progress score if checked during the night.

Brilliant app. I’ve been using this app for over two years, I initially got it to find what triggers a worse snoring night for me. (Milk, alcohol etc ) but eventually using this app and watching the results, I realised I needed a sleep study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I now use a cpap machine and sleep soundly for the first time in my life. Day one there was no snoring. I have possibly saved 10-15 years of my life, I still use the app everyday as my alarm clock, to track how long I sleep, when I pull my mask off and to fall asleep to the white noise. Thank you for developing it and keeping it free! It’s a life changer- literally!

Great diagnostic tool. The SnoreLab app proved what interventions work and how much of a difference they made. I went from 2+ hours of “epic” to pretty much zero. The app is a fantastic and easy to use diagnostic tool. My snoring has worsened as I age (52). I now have a mouth guard and these awesome “mutes” to ensure my nose airway remains clear and SnoreLab gives me the proof that things are on track.

Being informed is power!. Excellent. Probably the most useful app I have ever purchased. Makes monitoring severe SA a lot easier and you can identify any contributing and alleviating factors much more accurately. Thanks very much, greatly appreciated.

Not quite there. This app has plenty of positives, as others have mentioned. I think it’s better for the developers if I focus on a negative that I’ve experienced. This app randomly messes with the IOS alarm. Every so often, while using this app, the alarm doesn’t sound at all. And this morning while the alarm worked initially, using any of the side buttons (Power, volume up / down) which would normally ‘snooze’ the IOS alarm for 10 minutes, the alarm was cancelled and did not sound again.

Very helpful App. App works great in recording my snoring which was a reality check of : 1. How loud my snoring is,and 2. The duration and frequency. I was able to control my snoring with a SnoreGuard mouth piece which reduces my snore score from 100+ to about 10. Highly recommended App and worth the price. A+

Interesting. Well it is a little x fronting and often amusing to hear the noises made while sleeping. Being able to see the difference some of the remedies makes is fabulous

Snoring relief. I am embarrassed to say that I snore. Chris has told me that I do for many months now, but I never believed him. Well, the first step to fixing a problem is to find out as much as possible about the problem and SnoreLab is the tool to do that. I am impressed (but still embarrassed...). Jane

Great. What an eye opener! I realise now how bad my snoring is. I am now working on solutions to rectify my snoring problems. This app also gives me an indication why I’m always tired , my snoring problems. If u want to hear how bad your snoring is, get this app.

Surprisingly comprehensive. Apparently my wife is right, I do snore! And badly, and all through the night. No wonder I feel tired during the day. Motivated me to do an at home sleep study. It’s good to be able to see the trending and compare with similarly affected friends.

Excellent app. This app has been a revelation. Very well designed and picks up sound very well. The only drawback is that early in the morning it picks up the sound of the birds singing! I’m surprised really as those sounds are quite different tone/pitch to the sound of someone snoring or breathing heavily while asleep. But overall the app has been very useful.

Shocked.. I suffer from Sleep Apnea and was asked by my health professional if I snored. I said I didn’t know as I lived on my own. I jokingly said “l bet there’s an app for that”. To which she replied “yes there is and the best one is SnoreLab”. She downloaded it for me and so say I was shocked when I first used it is putting it mildly. I found I snored like a roaring train. I’m seeing her next week and look forward to her comments. I told friends about the app and they are using it. One whose husband swears he doesn’t snore now knows he does and had a sleep study done which found he has serious Sleep Apnea. I highly recommend SnoreLab app.

Amazing. This App is fantastic. For years I have been told I snored . When I actually heard how loud I snored and for how long I was shocked. This App gives you so much detail. I am only using the free App and I am amazed at the length of detail it offers to stop or alleviate the problem. Thanks to the developer 👍🏽

Absolutely love this app!. This app has helped me so much. I knew I was a snorer because I would wake up to my own snoring or my wife would complain about it but I didn’t realise how bad it was until I started using this app. I showed my doctor the recordings of my snoring and he referred me to get a sleep study which we found out that I had severe obstructive sleep apnea. I was put on a trial CPAP but unfortunately I just could not get use to it. I started to follow the suggestions on snore labs app like sleeping on my side as I would always sleep on my back, started using nose strips. My scores are now consistently low like 4-8 before it was 50-70. I so happy I cam across this app I also have much more energy through the day.

Extremely helpful. Great to get a good understanding of sleep pattern and coughing or snoring through the night. Excellent minimal features for free. You don’t have to pay to get a good idea. Easy to test and use for a while before knowing if you want more details etc.

Made by men. This app allows you to input things that may affect your snoring BUT not included on the list is the option to input phases of your menstrual cycle. Menstruation and ovulation can affect mucus levels and viscosity in the body therefore need to be on the list, as well as a an option to enter your own item

Very helpful app. I have found this app very useful in adjusting my anti snoring device (Somnomed). I was in denial that I was still snoring despite my partner assuring me I was! The app also indicated very clearly that factors such as alcohol had a negative impact on snoring I would highly recommend this app, also useful in sharing with your GP to see whether a sleep study indicated

Early days but loads of feed back. Knowing just how load and how much I snore has been a real eye opener. I love this app. I am also starting the snoring exercises and working through some of the solutions. Biofeedback is wonderful. One thing though, I am not sure whether it is me or my husband loudly snoring. If any of the developers has a hint for how to handle this I would be grateful.

Good App. I’ve have mild sleep apnea! …. I was keen to see if I was snoring with my cpap on. Unfortunately the app is so sensitive (which is a good thing) that it couldn’t differentiate between cpap “noise” and snoring!! This means it records the machine noise all night long!! If I can sound insulate the cpap then it might be more successful!! I would still recommend the app for “new” users.

Don’t keep your phone on charge all night. During a short hospital stay a nurse told me that I have slept apnea. I live alone so had no idea. This proved that I snore badly. Advice on the website says leave your phone on charge while using it. Not good for your battery. Unless your battery is very low don’t do this. The app really doesn’t take much battery power to use it all night. Mine went from 90% to 75%. Charge up your phone first. Then unplug to use.

Highly Recommend. This app has been the best. Been using the app for over 12 months. Was diagnosed with mild S/A 3 years ago, no CPap. Monitoring sleep patterns but just had major surgery which exasperated my respiratory issues. I am now on trial of CPap. I decided to use app to see how I was traveling and interested to find whilst I thought I was managing nasal mask, the app showed I was not. So now opting for a full face. Thank you. Been recommending this app to many.

So Officially I Do Snore. I was recently diagnosed with having sleep apnea, my type is moderate to severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea. I was told for years I snore, I couldn’t argue it as I never heard myself, now I totally agree an I was shocked when I heard myself, my first score was 149 on SnoreLab, now I’m down to between 61 - 70 using the suggestions. I really don’t want to use a CPAP machine and have noticed by using a device to help prevent me from sleeping in the supine position (on back) that made my OSA severe I’m sleeping better, waking better with more energy, I made a device using a elastic strap with Velcro, I cut a back roller in half and to a length of 40cm, I looped 2 elastic straps around it and stick it flat side against my back and Velcro the straps comfortably to keep it in place. I’m looking forward to seeing my sleep doctor next to give him the recordings and see what he says, it’s a shock listening to myself still but am happy I got this app, for basically $20 a year I’m happy as my sleep doctor can help improve my issue with a more detailed example of my sleep patterns over just a one night stay that costed $1090. By no means does this app diagnose sleep apnea or claim too, but it is a tool a professional sleep doctor can use. Thank you to the creators of this app sincerely.

Great analysis of sleep pattern. I was diagnosed with sleep apnoea and this app has helped me see what aspects of my sleep assist with sleep patterns. I can even notice that using a doona or just a cotton blanket will change the intensity of my snoring. I started using a CPAP machine and now have changed to an oral device and the app helped me see if exercise assists as well. I enjoy looking over the weekly and monthly analysis of my patterns. There have been a few days where my snore score is way into the double figures and I can’t work out why. This is the exception not the norm though. Overall the app is great.

SnoreLab review. I find that the microphone on my Apple phone is too sensitive and picks up all sorts of sounds . Once I got out of bed and left app running. It picked up my husband’s breathing and he was as nearly 3 metres from the phone and he was facing away from the phone.

Recent update. I used to be able to set this to start recording while I played music or a podcast. It would shut off the sound and start recording after the designated time period. Now the podcast just keeps playing all night which interferes with the recording so it’s not much use.

Easy to use great monitoring device. Very easy to use and see and compare the results. Using it when I try different factors and devices to try and reduce my snoring improving my sleep posture. Was able to export the results to my sleep position he was also impressed by the app.

Great Free App.. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, bought a $2000 CPAP air supply machine that I struggled with for ages and then bought a$30 mouth guard that projects my lower jaw and tongue forward so I don’t snore. But the only way I found out what was effective was by using this free app every week to check what worked. Now I sleep fine and wake up feeling great. And I’m not strapped to a CPAP machine for life. Thank you very much for that alone. For me this app is a life changer.

Comprehensive sleep analyser. A very revealing app. There’s no proof like statistics and recordings of what’s really going on while you are sleeping. Useful tools to integrate sleep aids and to monitor their effectiveness. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who is not sure how much they may be snoring and for anyone trying to do something about it.

Pain management program. I have chronic pain and I found this program part of the program is breathing the guy who is specialised recommended this app as I have mild sleep apnea and I snore since starting this app I have been able to track when I snore and when I don’t. I’d recommend this to everyone.

Must have for snorers and apnea sufferers. For anyone experiencing the debilitating effects of snoring or apnea, this app is a must have. It’s the low cost tool you need to monitor how you’re breathing in your unconscious hours. It will help you track the effectiveness of anti snoring measures and will leave you in no doubt when snoring has affected your night. Reliable and very well designed.

Eye opening (for when your eyes are shut!). No wonder I am in such a fog! Wow, I used to tease my husband but I fiercely compete with him. I do wish you could choose any moment if the night to review - for example, when I see a long epic snoring cycle and then it moves to light - I want to hear that transition - to explain why I stopped. Great app. I am doing the SnoreGym exercises too. On a mission to sleep better!

Great tool!. It’s a good tool to help self diagnose what causes the big snore! I’m collecting data and seeing some real results. I hope to be able to curb my snoring so my wife can sleep!

Doesn't work while the screen is locked. Big issue that needs to be resolved is having the app run if the screen is locked

Scam. Says you can hear all the recordings from the night once you upgrade. Sure enough, you upgrade and they pick and choose what you can listen to. Very disappointed.

Amazing. I’m in a work and progress in my snoring analysis thanks to this spectacular app. Thanks for developing it. Worth every penny spent!

Good but could be better. When I go through and mark things as not snoring it would be nice if the snore score would go down afterwards

It changed my life!. I downloaded this app as a curiosity at first because my husband kept telling me that I snored a lot. The first few nights of using this app made me realize how bad my snoring was for several hours. I made an appointment at a Sleep Clinic and was diagnosed with severe apnea. I am now using a Cpap machine every night and I wake up more rested in the morning without headaches like I used to. I am definitely recommending this app. You might be surprised to find out how much you are snoring without knowing!

Bruits ou ronflements. Je doute quelques fois que le pourcentage inscrit est réellement des ronflements ou les bruits faits par d’autres événements autour.

NOWHY. For some reason my mom doesn’t trust this app

Analyser pour comprendre et faire des changements. Bonne application pour en savoir plus sur soi-même et les différences suivant les changements apportés.

Sleep Apnea. I think the app is great! Since so many snorers have sleep apnea and don’t know it, I’d like to know how it relates to sleep apnea. For example, are apneas usually before or after a snore and can you hear or somehow recognize them?

Not enough available features. The app works well but it does not allow access to some information and features without a subscription. Only really records and gives an idea of how much you are snoring.

Great app. For only 15$ a year you get a good app that records samples of your night, measures variations and gives you a score. If you are serious about your health, it’s well done and will help collect the data.

Not worth the price. Would be worth $5 as a pay once app at most. They drastically overestimate the value of hearing yourself snore. I don’t care about improvements and feature bloat. Make a simple app right the first time. Once I see subscriptions on unimportant things I delete. Compare it to Netflix. No value.

Reliable monitor. This is a great app for tracking progress on snoring. Recently begun using a dental appliance so I can now reliably monitor my progress in a consistent way. My wife tends to fall asleep (not sure how) she can’t give me reliable feedback, but this App can! This App is a great addition to my new sleep regime.

Just one thing…. Love the app!! I use it every night and love how you can add remedies and factors that may play a role in altering your sleep. However, it would be extremely beneficial to have the app work while the device screen is off/locked.

Solid feedback App. This App in full subscription version works very well. It is not just about the data, it is about the feedback and what you do with that feedback. If you take the time to try all of the different suggestions, life changes, and remedies or combinations of remedies, you will definitely find what works or improves your situation over time. I was kicked out of the bed a long time ago and when I first set up the App I had plenty of Loud and Epic, and snore score in the 50’s and 60’s. Through trying various remedies then seeing the results through the App, I was able to pinpoint a certain mouth guard, throat spray combination that consistently put me in the 0 to 4 range! Now I am back in our bedroom and I would have never gotten to this point without the App and it’s feedback.

Cancelled my subscription. It was an interesting couple of years but a recent change to your service was confusing and on review of what benefits I was getting from the service I decided to cancel.

BEWARE OF THIS 3rd party Apple Application!!!. Be careful about starting a trial there is no option to cancel it and an automatic renewal charge. This is an Apple 3rd party application! I can’t cancel it in the Apple settings

$. I just don’t like how you have to pay for all these apps

Very insightful app. I’ve been able to get real insight into the extent of my snoring and started working on the snore lab exercises to help change my snoring.

闪退严重及卡顿. 闪退严重及卡顿。

Just plays random clips. When I get a clip, I wanna hear me sleep talk because I know I do every night but you can’t even play the sound that it says that it picked up and I paid for premium, so what the heck other than that it’s ok

Fabulous. I wanted to see if I snored or talked in my sleep This does everything it says it does. Very happy with this spp

Easy to Use. It’s great app! Very useful information was gained. Very detailed and VERY easy to use! Last year because of the app I discovered I snored like a freight train. I hadn’t believed my spouse. Because of that and a year later, I’ve seen my GP who sent for a sleep study. No Sleep Apnea but was referred to a dental specialist . I special mouth appliance was made for me costing ca LOT of money. Once or twice a week depending on your comfort level you adjust the mouthpiece until you’ve created a sufficient airway and the snoring stops. Well How Do I Know If It’s Stopped ? I decided to to download SnoreLab again to keep track of my progress. The very first night using my new appliance & SnoreLab my snore level went from previous levels of 30’s 40’ 50’s to ZERO. I had this information because of SnoreLab. Spoke to my dentist and decided not to do any adjustments on the appliance. I told her all about SnoreLab and she is going to check it out and believes it could be a very valuable tool for her patients. Is it always necessary to automatically do the uncomfortable adjustments for 8 weeks? Obviously not! I’m proof of that thanks to SnoreLab!

excellent. i use it every night and its funny listening to my snores 😂😂😵

Paying for something that should be free. Ok so, the app is called snore labs yet you can’t even hear snoring! you can’t even get that many recordings before it forces you to upgrade forcing us to pay for something that should be free. 1 star

Life-Changing App. In a month, I have gone from a snore-score of over 40, to 4!!!! Playing with my factors and remedies and modifying nightly, has been incredible. It turns out, the snore solution for me is having a small fan running (a stream of air across the room apparently acts as an O2 machine for me!!), and Saje ‘Snore No More’ essential oil under my nose, and on my pillow. I wish I had found this app sooner. I’ve turned down overnight trips with friends and family because of my snoring. Thank you so much.

Life Changing. I downloaded last night for something to do. Now I need to re-evaluate my entire life. I can’t believe I actually snore that loud for 35% of the night. Turns out my husband hasn’t been lying and that’s a whole other pill I need to swallow. Can’t believe the accuracy, timing and ability to listen to a play by play of my most giant insecurity. Would rate 5/5 for bringing me down a peg or two. Downloading Snore gym, I’ve got nothing else to lose at this point.

Payment after 3 nights - shame on you.. After three nights you have to upgrade and pay for the app. That’s when it is deleted.

Good app. I didn’t know how badly I was snoring until I downloaded the app. This helped me hear and see when my bad nights were. Apparently my snoring was epic. I’m recording every night until I see the sleep centre to give me a proper diagnosis.

WORKS. My Dentist wanted to gather real data on my snoring and how my appliance helped. This program did that in spades. I find the subscription expensive, but compared to the cost of the dental appliance it’s actually a deal. Probably not worth it if your just curious about your snoring BUT if you want to compare different techniques and devices to improve your sleep habits (and your health) then it’s really priceless.

Ma aider à trouver le sommeil. J'ai toujours cru que je ne dormais pas. Mais à voir mes cycle de sommeil j'ai compris que je dormais bien!!!! 😴😴😴

Improvement required. The number resulting your snoring is false. You have to listen and judge by yourself cause otherwise it doesn’t make any sense. Sometimes I almost don’t snore and results are high and when I snore it is the same. They need to improve it (premium user)

confirmed my suspicions.. used this app to confirm i had a major problem, sleep apnea at a young age.

Bizarre. Je ne m’attendais pas à avoir de petits ronflements mais l’application est bien.

Amazing. I love this app-I am learning so much about myself and my snoring and sleep. Very accurate. I have premium version.

Snore score. This app is very helpful in understanding my snoring and how bad it can get

App not working. Putting my phone face downnad told and won't even record...

Fantastic app. This app was recommended to me by my family doctor as a tool to measure the degree of my snoring prior to a sleep apnea test. It not only provided clear recordings of my snoring, but more importantly it provided insightful reports and tools to understand why I might be snoring more some nights than others. It’s also been a great motivational tool as I watch my scores drop and sleep improve from week to week. Highly recommend this app.

Great so far…. I’ve been happy with the app so far. I’m struggling with snoring and would like to get to the bottom of it. I’m tracking my sleeps to see if there is a correlation with certain factors. I also have a sleep consultation soon, and like that I can show some data to the doctor.

This app deserves. The app is rock solid and very useful for all the people who suffer from snoring. The companion app also will help you to exercise your tongue muscles to reduce snoring. The design and quality of the app is the best in its segment and it you can use it effectively even with the free tier. To have better deeper analysis you can have a one time payment, or if you'd like to store your snores on the cloud (who would do that 🤣) then you shortly pay a C$6.99 annual subscription.

Informative. Love this, I never knew I snored til lately and I wouldn’t believe my husband, and I’m thinking of upgrading so I can hear my snoring even tho it’s not epic. 😁

Nice tool but records all noises as snoring. I like that you can analyze the data by factor or remedy. screen it by snoring time or snoring volume. This helps in finding out what works or not for you for reducing your snoring. NEED TO IMPROVE : I wish the app was smart enough to disregard surrounding noise (white noise, outside noise, sneezing, coughing, blowing your nose, getting up to go the bathroom etc…) because every morning I have to spend 20 minutes listening to the previous night’s recordings and remove all audio clips that were recorded as snoring but that are not (coughing, sneezing, moving in your bed etc…) If other iPhone apps are able to use face and voice recognition surely this could be done

Overrated. Picks up all the noises and gives a snore score. Too expensive

Unless you want to pay, don’t bother. App is misleading. Not a bad app but after four days of using you can’t do anything unless you upgrade. Why don’t they just charge you for the app upfront rather than scamming you

Useful if you upgrade. I don’t want to pay for yet another app so I’m using the free version and it’s uses are very limited. Basically anything important falls under the paid version. That’s fine but it would be nice if a few of the basic functions like seeing your trends fell under the free option. One issue I have is the app doesn’t differentiate between other noises and snoring and either discard the non snoring noises when measuring your score or letting users delete those noises that are not them. 9/10 times if I see epic snoring and listen to the recording it’s my dog barking. There is no way that I can see to make adjustments and get a more accurate score.

Does as promised. I find the app (I pay for the subscription) to be a useful window, in gaining insight to the nights during which I snore more vs the nights I snore less. It’s more or less a metric. I can reflect on the nights where I’ve hit a score of 60, and alter my behaviour to try and lower the score. I’ve had moderate success with this approach. Turns out a nasal steroid to open up the passages is somewhat effective for me. Along with minimizing dairy as well as no snacking after dinner.

Good for a recorder. It records your snores and gives you tips for reducing snoring in one app so you don’t have to look online. Seeing that it’s primary purpose is to track snoring it’s a bit unusual it doesn’t track irregular snoring seeing sleep apnea is a major concern for many snorers.

Great app. Great

My wife credits this app for stopping me snoring!. I am told I was an Olympic snorer and was driving my wife slowly mad. She used to hit the pillow and yell at me because she couldn’t sleep. I have been using this app for about six months and in that time my snore score has gone from the 70-80 to 3-8. The difference is huge but the only thing I changed was using the app. I go to sleep conscious that I’m been monitored and it seems to have worked. Maybe it’s just some weird coincidence but we don’t care, things have improved massively since I started using the app.

Great but Needs a Few Functions. I love this app; it’s been very helpful with my PTSD nightmares but it’s be great if there was an audio scrubbing feature and Fast-Forward X2. Also, it’s frustrating if I’m listening to the recording and something happens like replying to a text and I completely lose my place so a Pause button would be very convenient. Being able to sort that night’s recordings by sound levels would be helpful too. Lastly, the highlight button looks like a location services icon, maybe change it to a simple circle design? Otherwise, I enjoy using this app!

Good, but also not…. Paid version works well, my subscription ended, I forgot to renew and that’s when the issues began. It said can only use it every second day, then when I didn’t use it it then said it was blocked from use because it had been used for 5 consecutive days (which it has not been) then it shifted to asking me to watch an advert to use it. I get it, you don’t like people not renewing but set the standard, make the app work to the standard and don’t be shady. I would have renewed but now this erratic and underhand behavior means I will not renew, you lost a satisfied customer.

Pretty good but needs auto features. I have been using this app for a while. It’s a huge disappointment when you go to the effort to activate the app, select Start and put the iPad screen down, only to find the it was stuck on the “help” screen. The help screen should NOT be a screen that needs a response before the app starts working. Often I get into bed after a long day and I am usually wiped out. When I press start, the app should start! Another improvement would be to not require the iPad be face down. Why does it need to be face down? If it didn’t require it to be face down then I would have seen the app hadn’t started.

Works well.... ...if you are the only person in the room. Otherwise it tends to average both sleepers. Still, I took my score from 30+ to near 0 in a few months of single-person use and feel much more rested every morning. You might not need a CPAP (or the fancy mouth device they sell) to benefit from this app. I'm not sure that I trust it's statistics about what factors correlate with better sleep. With just a few samples, they claim high spreads of cause. And they don't report on the confidence in these, just a mean. They also assume that I'm asleep the entire night, which is definitely not true of me.

Worth paying for. This app is outstanding and an example of getting what you pay for. Really hesitant to buy, and would have felt better with a more typical one time fee rather than subscription, but I am very happy with it. Great features, easy user interface. It was really something to hear what others have been complaining about all these years. I have worked my score down with the basics of limiting food and alcohol before bed, and trending lower using the linked snore gym app (wish that were included in the price, but it is a small one time adder).

Great app. Very enlightening.. The free version is all I’ve used- and I think the features are really great. This app has many features built into one. My favorite is the sounds before you fall asleep. I usually pick the thunderstorm and time it to go off after 20 minutes. It records samples of your snoring and is extremely insightful. I don’t use it every night. But it has definitely enlightened me to my sleeping habits. Additionally you can select “factors” such as having caffeine, alcohol, not being in your own bed, being sick, working out, late dinner, etc. to help you pinpoint possible correlations between your snoring habits.

Gives good insight. I have Obstructive Sleep Apnea. As I’ve worked with healthcare professionals to tune my treatment, I periodically undergo sleep studies using special equipment to track progress. But I can only do that infrequently, and the SnoreLab app allows me to monitor snoring daily. While snoring and OSA are not the same thing, there is some correlation. The app provides a graphic representation of my snoring, but even more insightful I can hear actual audio recordings. I gave the app only 4 stars only because I have to scrub the data daily to eliminate events that are rhythmic breathing and not actual snoring.

Truly amazing. I had no idea. Absolutely no idea how bad I was sleeping. I’ve found some useful apps before but this one has had the most profound impact on my overall health/ energy levels. I even showed my doc some of the data, he was impressed too lol You really find out a lot about your bad habits and how they effect your sleep. I don’t buy many apps, I’m cheap that way, but I bought this one. If you Dev’s made this compatible with my Apple Watch (data on watch, not health app in phone) it would be a 110% app!

Great App. I am really impressed with the app. It not only has great sound quality the format it presents the information to you is very user friendly. It has allowed me to try different snore aids and see what is truly helping make a difference. The wedge or side sleeping actually made it worse but the plugs your insert in your nose reduced about 75%. I will continue searching for a better solution but the app definitely helps pin point what works. I purchased the upgrade when I first downloaded so I can’t compare the free vs upgraded version.

Bugs came back. A regression with the latest updates. 1. When you slide to stop recordings, the ratings appear and when I touch “don’t ask again” the results for the previous session is shown, not the current one. I touch the back arrow then forward to get last night’s results. 2. The ratings message comes back every day even though I press don’t ask again. 3. The contact button on the support page does nothing, at least on this iPad.

Find out the truth!. So, some friends said I snored. My mother said I didn’t, my boyfriend wasn’t bothered … we joked about setting up a recorder of some kind while I slept, then somehow listening to a whole night—not very practical. Along came SnoreLab! It’s amazing! Records everything shows severity of each snore, even let’s you listen to any piece of a night that strikes your fancy. Very, very informative and helpful! I’ve Ben experimenting with snoring remedies, and I actually have an idea of which are helpful and which aren’t.

SnoreLab is so helpful!. I was changing from a CPAP to a Mandibular Adjustment Device (MAD) to treat my high end of mild Sleep Apnea when I came across the SnoreLab App. It is so easy to use & has allowed me to assess the effectiveness of my new mouthpiece. Scanning the previous night’s recording, I can hear train whistles, my cat scratching in her cat box, me turning, but hurray, I am not snoring with the new mouthpiece. If you want to know if you are snoring or even how much you toss & turn in the night SnoreLab will give you your answers.

Super helpful. I had a sleep study done and was rated a 28 (eek!) - no wonder I never felt rested and blood pressure up, etc. But, a couple days before the sleep study, I had done the SnoreLab and when I looked back, it had given me the exact same score! Bad, yes, but great that it was likely pretty trustworthy. So now, after doing a couple things so far(night guard, nasal spray, sleeping on side), I’m down to 5-7! Hoping to get that to a zero soon, but so pleased in the reduction and with SnoreLab confirming it!

This is interesting. It gives a detailed graph of my snoring level. One suggestion would be a “notes” option to record things like times awake or that I removed my dental appliance at a certain time. Like one morning I took it out early and went back to sleep and experienced a huge long spike of epoch ness but there was no way to explain that. Also in the how do you feel emogi, it needs a neutral option or ability to type in a word or two.

Not Accurate. I was advised to use this APP for my TMJ Disorder. My score is generally low. Those times when it increases is when I’m under a lot of stress. But, got to wondering how the APP works. So, what it does is record ambient noise in the room. This means that is you pass gas, the APP will record it as a snore. How do I know this. I woke up an hour before I turned off the APP. I just laid in bed because I was not ready to get out. The APP had me actively snoring when the sound was the results of the chili I had for dinner. No snoring there. I also googled this phenomenon and sure enough, others reported the same issue. In fact, on guy said his flatulence was a better drummer than Phil Collins.

Eye opener. This app has helped me identify the factors that cause me to snore — lack of sleep and allergies. The better rested I am, the less I snore. The more allergens I experience, the more I snore. I went on a trip recently and stayed with my daughter who has cats. Snore score was in the 60s! Returned home to my space where I’ve removed allergens — snore score 2! This app has helped me identify which allergens affect me most. Got rid of synthetic fragrances and worked on getting more sleep and what a difference it’s made!!!

From denial to determined. Me snore, since when?! Apparently snoring can start just after 46 and like most others accused of snoring, I too was in denial until I heard it for myself (although I’m still not sure how I feel about that), what I do like is the ability to learn more about the condition. This App explains some of the reasons why it happens in the insights section and suggests ways to reduce it, or when you may wanna see a doctor. I love that it also has an area with simple remedy icons you can tap so you can monitor what actually works for you to help reduce it. I’m obsessed.

I have loved this app. Had it for over a year and renewed subscription. Would like to know why my alarm hasn’t worked on it for the past two nights though. No FAQ about that feature. Please help with that. I sent an email. The alarm sounds are one of the reasons I renewed! You could even add some new ones. I like the gentler sounds to wake up. Thanks! Also, it’s be nice to have an easier way to delete old audio in bulk by clicking all while looking at the dates and audios in memory. Please work on that.

Makes me feel so much better. I had heard that I snored so many times over the years and as a woman I was pretty embarrassed by it. When asked to have sleepovers I wouldn’t do it for fear that people would hear me snore other than my husband. But after snore lab it shows me that I snore very little and much lighter than I thought. Also when I hear myself snore on snore lab I’m still a little embarrassed, but at least I know my rate is extremely low and my snoring is in the quiet range. Thank you snore lab

I’m having a problem. I’ve been using SnoreLab for years and a while ago it began reporting 0 snore score even though it was clear that there was periods of pretty heavy snoring. I’m not sure what changed. I’ve tried the app on two different iOS devices and have the same results on both. I deleted the app and reinstalled it also with no change in behavior. While it does record the sounds, not having them scored makes the app less useful. I discontinued using it and periodically would retry to see if it had been restored to its original state which was very useful.

Love but...sound is sometimes muted if app running. I love this app and have used it religiously but a big bug is causing me to have to stop .. it causes my alarm to not sound off sometimes. My phone will SHOW that the alarm is sounding as a message, but when this app is running the sound will be muted. Same with text messages or phone alerts... when I turn the app off I get pelted with all my messages and alerts. Weird thing is... this “sound bug” isn’t consistent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. This morning it didn’t. Please fix this bug and I’ll give you 5 stars!

SnoreLab literally saved my life!. I used a CPAP for years and assumed I was doing okay until a friend was outside of my hotel door heard me snoring from the hallway. How?? I use a CPAP. After a sleep study, I found out my CPAP was old and needed the air pressure set upped. I got new machine and was doing much better but occasionally still got too high a SnoreLab score (13). After experimentation, I found out I was improperly wearing my mask. Once I fixed that I get 1's and 2's SnoreLab scores. This app showed I needed a new machine and I was wearing my mask incorrectly. SnoreLab quite literally saved my life.

Thank you!. This app is great! My boyfriend was sleeping on the couch because my snoring was keeping him awake, and something had to be done. I downloaded this app, and while browsing through its list of potential remedies, I came across a wedge pillow, which I had never heard of before. That sounded way more pleasant than sticking things up my nose to open my airways, so I ordered one, and bam! Snoring solved! I might upgrade to the paid version just as a thank you, but the recordings and information provided by the free version were all I needed to get me from a Snore Score of 34 down to a 0.

No exaggeration the best app I ever downloaded. I’ve snored for years. I could lose a few pounds but am not overweight, and I couldn’t get the snoring to stop. I don’t drink or do drugs, either. I’ve been in sleep studies and I’ve had surgery to correct snoring, nothing helps. It’s not apnea it’s snoring, so I’ve been told a CPAP wouldn’t work. I had just given up. I sleep on the couch after kissing my wife and daughter goodnight and that was apparently all there was to it. Then I got SnoreLab. It let me track my snoring by variables. What pillow, what bedtime, what angle I was lying at, all of it was interesting but I still couldn’t correct the snoring. Until I read the remedies section and tried one. I’m sleeping next to my wife for the first time in over a year, and for the first time in many years I don’t immediately plan my nap as soon as I wake up. Get this app!

Picks up EVERYTHING…to a fault. I was curious to see if I snore so I gave this thing a chance. It can record the whole night so you can play it back later. The snore detection thing seems a little overzealous though. I checked the graph and saw that it indicated that I snore loudly throughout the night, but upon listening, there was maybe two minutes of soft snoring at most. The ‘loud snoring’ that the app was picking up was actually my tower fan on the lowest setting on the other side of my room, lol.

No score. I’ve just tried this app for about a week, I have three complaints on it. 1, no where can I find what the score means. All it says is the average score for new users. What does that tell you? Is that just an arbitrary? 2, I have the app both on my iPhone and my iPad. I lay them right next to each other, next to my bed, and their scores will differ by 30 points. Why? And again, what do the scores even mean. 3, Two of the times I used this app, I went to slide it to the right to stop and it said it needs to run for more than 30 minutes. It ran all night and no data was recorded. I think a person would just as well served to use a voice memo app and just record yourself sleeping all night.

Picks up other sounds. I use the free version of this app sporadically out of curiosity. I like to see if I’m snoring when I have a stuffy nose, I’ve been drinking or am just exhausted. My snore score is always low (between 2-6), however I find that the app picks up a ton of random noises and marks them as snoring. Examples include but are not limited to: changing positions in bed, airplanes flying outside, garbage collection, noisy neighbors. I always listen to the recordings and mark these things as “not snoring”, however my score remains the same. I’ll continue to use the free version of this app as I don’t find the results very accurate.

I think this app may have saved my life. I’ve alway known I have snored. My wife has taken to sleeping on the couch most nights. After a vacation, where she was stuck in a hotel room with no escape from my snoring she said I need to see my dr as soon as we got back. Before my appointment, I downloaded SnoreLab and recorded a few nights sleep. It shocked me to hear how I was gasping for air most of the night. I played it for my doctor and he was impressed with the app. He said those are definitely apnea episodes . I’m currently waiting for a sleep study to confirm and get CPAP treatment.

Now love to go to sleep. I have never paid any many for an app before this... totally worth it... finally found a mouth guard that minimizes my snoring and allows me to sleep much more soundly.... I have one suggestion.... if the developers could create a sleep app within this app that allows me to analyze the QUALITY of my sleep( sleep cycle and how long in REM sleep) , this would by far be the best app on the market...: willing to bet this would be a huge winner.... looking forward to that development....

Not very accurate. This app is easy to us and has lots of capabilities, such as letting you record factors that might contribute to your snoring and things you did to prevent it. The biggest problem I’ve had is that it the air conditioner, turning over in bed, and other noises trigger a recording. Then I have to go through a ton of recordings and either pin them as snoring or press the x to indicate non-snoring. But I can’t delete the non-snoring events, and it appears to still count those in the snore score. Also, twice now it has stopped recording in the middle of the night. It recorded a bunch of events, but none of them were snoring. I flagged them as non- snoring events. My score should have been zero, but it stayed at 3.

Great App. I have sleep apnea and just bought the mouthpiece to control snoring. Your App and the mouthpiece both work great. I have had scores as low as 1 while laying on my side all night and as high as 28 sleeping on my back. What is considered an acceptable score? Only issue is when I use the app I must sleep in a separate bed room as it picks up my wife’s snoring and I can’t get an accurate single person score. I like the fact that you provide this for free and if I continue to like it and use it I can upgrade. This is my third night, so far so good.

The Truth Recorded Live. For years my family told me I snored and I only took it half seriously. After the first night I used SnoreLabs, I heard the ugly truth. The app recorded hours of snoring capped off by 23 minutes of what it termed “Epic” snoring. I need my own wing of the house. The recordings and graphic charts are interesting. You are quickly able to hear and see periods of relatively quiet sleep and periods of snoring. I have already started making adjustments to my sleep routine which are resulting in lower snore scores. I have got a long way to go, but SnoreLab will be indispensable in monitoring my progress.

I don’t think i’d look good wearing a mask to bed. My wife got my attention when she said she had to nudge me during snoring sessions at night. Especially when i’d go quiet. So, there were other concerns. I went on a diet and looked for an app to see if my loosing weight had an impact. My snore score & readings were tangible proof that i was on the right track, A real eye opener! Great app. Not knocking mask, but if i could do something to improve, ai’d rather that than a mask! Thanks.

It just works. I knew I snored. Thank God my wife is a sound sleeper, but I never knew how much or how loud I was. Turns out, it can be a lot and loudly. The tracking of this app is scary good. I learned that alcohol definitely increases my snore score, that the ZQuiet actually works (at least for me) and it was all because of the tracking with this app. Without some way to record your snoring reliably, you can only guess at the extent of your snoring, and the extent of changes you make on that. SnoreLab makes this super easy. Definitely recommended.

Cpap recall. I needed to find an alternative to my cpap machine as it was recalled! In researching I stumbled onto the SnoreLab app. After my free trial ended I was hooked and paid the full premium. It picks up every sound in the room. Even picks up a far off train whistle several blocks from my home. It’s been amazing to learn what remedies are helping me the most! I started in the 50s wearing a mouth guard. When I added a nasal dilator my scores are now in the single digits! As low as a one! It makes a difference if I work out and shower before bed. Great way to track your sleep nightly! I highly recommend this app!

It was dairy! 😞. My husband complained about my snoring and often times would sleep on the couch because I was so loud. I had a hard time believing him that it was that bad. Well, Snore Lab helped me hear for myself. Once I believed him, I started researching ways to make it stop. I tried different things and used Snore Lab to check the results. I no longer snore! It was dairy all along! I clearly snore on days I eat dairy and for a couple of days after. Then back to no snoring again. I miss dairy. But I’m glad to have my husband back!

I love the extras!. I’ve been struggling with mild to moderate sleep apnea for a couple years now. I’ve tried other apps, but wasn’t very impressed. Some are good, some are ok and some are down right worthless! But, SnoreLab is excellent! I can link it with my Apple Watch and not only track my snoring but, my heart rate and O2 sat as well! And, in addition to that, I can link it to my apple health app and keep track of how my daily activity affects my sleep! and then, with a press of a button, I can send all that information straight to my pulmonologist! this app is a game changer!

Subscription is a bad value.. The app used to be a one-time fee for premium and is now 3x more expensive yearly for the privilege of looking at the data already on your phone. Frankly, the features offered for premium besides the blatant paywall disabling local features is nowhere near worth 30/y and reeks of “subscription model greed.” Update: developer replies with a copy-paste response that they pride themselves on what the free app offers and their competitive pricing blah blah blah, but still limit use of the app to only 2 consecutive days before locking you out. Most features behind the paywall don’t require cloud services or are basic enough to be included in a one time payment. The subscription model is pure greed on their part.

Snooze doesn't work. The snooze function does not work correctly on the latest version of this app. It appears unable to wake my phone to sound the snooze alarm. Once I manually wake my phone, then the alarm sounds. This used to work properly in previous versions. Snooze is kind of useless if it doesn't work properly. When you fix this, it would be nice if you could add a configuration parameter to allow users to adjust length of snooze. Otherwise, the app is great and I have been using it for years. Thanks.

Unbelievable. So I’ve never rated anything before on the App Store. Got this app and have been monitoring my sleep apnea for some time and it has been wonderful, added a oximeter and Heart rate monitor and it becomes totally a beast of an app to monitor how each type of sleep apnea therapy is working. Since there is little too no teaching in the medical world on sleep apnea you have to take these matters into your own hands, thanks to this app all things are possible!!!!

Game changer. I went from 120 and now down to avg 10 with low of 3. My epic is now 0% and loud is 4%. I now sleep and only wake once to pee. I did many of the suggestions and also started chewing gum 1x day and blowing bubbles to strengthen those muscles. Tilted the bed 4 inches, take hot shower, use eucalyptus essential oil, scrap my tongue, and sometimes I’ll use a nose strip. Also change the sheets every couple days and pillowcases daily. This app makes aware of what you are doing to help and hurt your sleeping. Good luck

Keeps shutting off. I really liked the app the first few times I used it so I bought the membership. Ever since then it shuts off during the night so I’ve not been able to get any useful recordings. The first couple times I thought maybe I forgot to start it but I now know it’s not me. I start the session and without turning off my phone I place it upside down as instructed, my phone is plugged in so it’s not the battery, it’s connected to wifi. I use the sleep sounds within the app set for 20 min to fall asleep which works fine so I don’t know why when I wake up in the morning the session is no longer running. Last night it said I was in bed for an hour and recorded that but stopped at 11:50 pm

Amazing!!!. An amazing, incredibly useful app for those of us who are told that we snore. Of course, we never believe what others say and we think they must be exaggerating. Now, for the first time, hear everything your bed partner hears in a beautifully designed and extremely functional and easy-to-use app. I was recently diagnosed with moderate sleep apnea; listening to my SnoreLab results makes it all clear as can be. The difference when I wear my CPAP mask is incredible, and I no longer wake up in the middle of the night with neck pain and disabling migraine.

Not a diagnosis. When I saw my score was in the 30-45 range and most of my snoring was light (with the aid of nasal strips), I nearly concluded that I didn't have a problem with sleep apnea... especially when I listened to the recordings and heard steady rhythmic snoring with no gasping or choking sounds. But then my doctor set me up with a home sleep study and it turns out I stop breathing 39 times an hour on average—which is considered severe sleep apnea. The app is fascinating, but do NOT try to rule out apnea on your own with it. Get a sleep study.

Great app, but…. After my sons both brought my attention to the fact that I’m a very loud snorer, I tried this app. I did the 7 day trial, which showed me that I do snore very loudly. I’m currently trying out various ways to cut it down. My problem with the app is that it’s not completely useful to me because it is very sensitive and also tracks my husband’s snoring, adding his sounds to my data. One night our elderly dog stayed in our room, and it also picked up HIS snoring (and other noises🤣) I can’t really tell if any of my attempts (side sleeping, nasal strips, shower before bed) are helping or not. It also picks up trips to the bathroom, sheet rustling, mumbling, street noise, as snoring.

I may have ghosts. Turns out, I am a symphony of sounds. Blowing, snoring, talking. This thing is so precise, I don’t know who is the dog and who is me snoring. This thing is picking up static in my house, which I am pretty sure are ghosts. I also need an exorcise whichever demons are speaking through me in Latin, because I have no idea what I am saying. I have been sleeping alone for the past 10 years, other than the dogs and ghosts, and I guess I better get used to it. Or I better learn some new tricks to get anyone to lat down next to me for 6-8 hours.

Wonderful easy to use app. I was skeptical of this initially, but since it had a 7 day free trial, I thought I’d try it. I’m glad that I did. It was very easy to setup and it helped confirm that I have a serous snoring problem. It’s helpful that the app lets you hear samples of your snoring throughout the night. I’m going to try some of the snoring exercises recommended in this app as well as some lifestyle choices. Hopefully my situation will improve, which I can monitor with the app. If it doesn’t, I seriously need to consider a sleep study.

Didn’t work. I have laid awake countless nights listening to my husband snore continuously for hours, so I was hopeful this was going to work. After two nights of this picking up only quiet snoring for a couple minutes and giving him scores of 1 and 0, I’m canceling the free trial. He snores CONSTANTLY and in every sleeping position. He will roll over and immediately start snoring again. I’ve recorded him on my own phone sawing massive logs so many times. There’s ZERO chance he only snores lightly for a couple minutes a night. We did the trouble shooting and made sure the room was quiet, no fan, I slept in the other room so he wouldn’t be disturbed…not sure how this gets rave reviews…back to the drawing board. I just want to sleep.

Well worth it!. I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea 7+ years ago and couldn’t tolerate the bi-pap that was prescribed. I got fitted with a mandibular advancement splint (MAS), but never stopped looking for ways to improve my quality of sleep. Recently came across nasal breathing vs. mouth breathing info, which has been a game changer. Started using this app one month ago have been able to determine which combination of remedies works best. I would not have been able to do that on my own before. Love that I can export the data, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with my doctor(s). Thank you!
