No IPad App. Just see half a screen. No tech support. Hebrew App is not for IPad. Only see half a screen even in enlarge mode. Wrote for tech support three times woth no answer after two months.

Every time I update the app I need to. Log in again AND agree to get all the spam from you. Why do I pay money for this service if the service is poor??

Best newspaper app, anywhere. I live in the U.S. and read several major newspapers like the Wall Street Journal and Boston Globe through their apps. Haaretz's app works smoother, the user interface is clearer and information is most up to date. Excellent job.

Keeps logging me out. I'm a paid user and I have to sign in every time I launch the app. Too many pop ups and advertisement for a paid service.

The shamelessness of the Schockens. The marketing of Haaretz has become shameless theft. People who steal are prone to lie. Better to rely on the right wingers who have organized new media and use our own judgement to sift out what is true than to depend on a family that disgraced the memory of their righteous ancestors.

Unstable app. Crashes many times in my updated iPhone. They say they fixed bugs but it is all the same. Too many features make the app heavy and too much refreshing occurs when you enter an article.

Why no App for iPads?. Terrible to read on my iPad

Top notch content, but poor use of ads. To be clear, this is not a review of haaretz the newspaper, which is excellent, but rather, a review of their app. It makes sense to put ads before articles that would open. It does not make sense to put a five second ad before an article which you are blocked from seeing anyway. Very frustrating...

לא לעדכן. Dark mode! Yeah!

Poor use of notifications. Needs more granular control over notifications. I'm tired of getting "opinion column" notifications! Who would need to be alerted for these?? Let me turn off for some categories, or just don't send these...

Stop forcing me to update. Not every update is a must. I’m sure.

Good app, great newspaper. The app is very smooth to use and I’m enjoying it. As a student I can’t afford having the subscription on a regular basis so I’ve been canceling and resubscribing multiple times and I got to say it’s very easy. Today I got a gift from Haaretz, three free audio books and that was awesome!!! Thanks for treating your subscribers so well :)

Garett review. Articles are ok but very slanted towards editorial philosophy. Very annoying ads for paid subscribers. Should have an option to block them. Thinking of stopping the subscription due to the ads policy.

Why do I see ads as a paying customer??. This is annoying, please remove the ad strip in the home page.

Subscriptions stopped working for US numbers. I had an App Store subscription for Haaretz, I’m in the US and have a US number. The app or the website stopped honoring that subscription, and did not send the text (SMS) to the US number on my account, so, basically, I wasted the subscription money as the content is not accessible.

Unbiased newspaper. The paper is the only one in Israel to reflect the true news. It supports human rights.

The app needs help. A lot of ads and pop ups. Also, doesn’t always open all the articles, and unclear if the Marker is also available.

Slow, crashing and overall way below the standard. If Haaretz paid enough attention to the app standards as it does to its content we could have had a decent app. The app is slow , crashes all the time UI is cumbersome at best and there was no effort on rethinking the content display. It looks like someone took the print content and put it on a phone. So many good news apps out there. The standards are much higher than this app. I'll read only Haaretz so the content is not the issue

Expensive !!!. Why is this application so expensive? You loosing many readers around the world because of this. 109$ per year are you kidding?? I pay Netflix TV shows and movies monthly 8$. Reduce this cost!

Very slow. Very slow to open articles and app

The app that keeps getting worse. The latest is a movie trailer that pops up in full screen randomly while reading articles (!!!) for paid subscribers. Maybe if enough people give this app a bad rating and stop paying haaretz altogether they’ll finally understand it’s not ok to do this... but then again, probably not.

Analyst. While I enjoy Haaretz Hebrew edition (computer), I also tried my best to enjoy, with my limited Hebrew, the mobile version. While I still get pushes of headlines, lately it has failed to open the site.

Newspaper is excellent, app ads are bad. Haaretz is a world class reliable source of news. The banner ad upon opening the app is extremely annoying. There is sometimes no way of closing it so prevents displaying the news.

App doesn't work - main site is worse. The main web site flickers and is unresponsive. Their new app doesn't even open. They charge my credit card every month, but their technology is so bad it's impossible to read their newspaper. Most appalling of all of they obviously don't care that their product doesn't work. If you buy this app you will be very disappointed.

Too many disgusting ads. That cannot be blocked

Do use it, very poor. The app always uses a cell connection over wifi one, you will need to block it from using the cell option but in return it will kill your battery when a wifi connection does not exists. So unless you have unlimited data option and a charger near by do use it.

Best source of news in Israel. Trustworthy news made interesting and entertaining. Friday wouldn't be the same without the Haaretz weekend edition

Major app flaw makes it unusable. The content is good, this review is on the app, not its content. The app is not compatible with the iPhone’s native Spoken Content feature. Every time I select using it to listen to an article within the app, it navigates to another article rather than reading the one I was on, and speaks the “content” of only the three buttons and then stops (🤯). To me, this is a go-no-go feature, as not having it working well makes the content completely not accessible to me. BTW, I opted to use it on the web version, and i find that it consistently makes my phone freeze and requires a hard restart to make it functional again. For the record, I use this feature constantly, and it never happens. (iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16.2). Ultimately, Haaretz may have great content, but I can’t consume it, so, unfortunately, I’ll have to cancel my subscription.

Show us how much you love us. The app has a huge banner that read that. I didn’t like the shameless self promotion. The biggest problem with the app is a huge 1 pager banner ad when you open it with surprisingly located close/dismiss buttons. From a technical standpoint the is actually fine.

Negative impact on usability. Blocking adds and the introduction of two columns have a serious negative impact on usability. Add to that the continuous reduction of free content and the result is that I rarely open Haaretz and mainly view Ynet now even though the content is better in Haaretz.

Haaretz, you really need to build a proper tablet app. This is just ridiculous, to have the smartphone app be used as a tablet app. And especially given that we are paying subscribers. This „update“ is ridiculous !

Font sizes don't fit iPhone 6 Plus. On iPhone 6 Plus the font size of this app is either too large or too small, nothing in between. This makes reading articles tough. Reported this but no response.

Very biased. I like differing opinions from all sides, but this even colors the news stories with subjective remarks as to motive of IDF shooter in one article and other subjective innuendos throughout. This is strictly a hit piece against Netanyahu and the new government. Additionally it is very difficult to cancel a subscription. I’ve been trying without success. Beware automatic renewal!

The most important newspaper in Israel deserves a better app.. The app crashes and doesn’t deliver notifications. Going back to the plain website. Update: app does deliver “notifications” (after I log out), but instead of delivering timely news about actual events, it notifies me of random stories that Haaretz posted hours ago. Haaretz deserves a better app.

אפליקציה איומה. למרות תשלומי המנוי, לפני פתיחת כתבות, קיימות פרסומות לפעמים ללא אפשרות סגירה מיידית. האפליקציה לא זוכרת את פרטי המנוי,ולעיתים קרובות לפני פתיחה מבקשת הרשמה וסיסמה למרות שאני פותח באותם מכשירים באופן קבוע. באייפד אי אפשר, לפחות בשלי לפתוח את האפליקציה במצב אנכי. בוז למפתח!

Great app that crashes occasionally. Best news site in Israel. Crashes occasionally but less now than in the past. An ad free version either for subscribers or as a paid add-on would be awesome.

Excellent app but crashes all the time. Normally I would give you 5/5. But in the past few weeks the app crashes every 2 seconds. Please fix it! It's unbearable! Other than that, keep up the good work!!

אפליקציה טובה, פרסומות מעצבנות. סה״כ זוהי אפליקציה נוחה לשימוש, עיצוב טוב, ופיצ׳רים טובים. הדבר היחיד שמפריע לי זה שגם למנויים (קרי: אנשים שמשלמים) עדיין מופיעות פרסומות ואני גם צריך לסגור אותן אקטיבית.

איטי מאוד. וגם צריך לשלם

קורסת כל רגע. כמעט כל לחיצה על כפתור ׳חזור׳ גורמת לאפליקציה לקרוס, כמו כן קורסת באופן ספונטני בזמן הצגת כתבות. חוויית קריאה מתסכלת!

גורם למכשיר להתחמם. כתבתי בעבר שהאפליקציה גורמת למכשיר שלי להתחמם. אז הייתי עם איייפון SE ישן. מאז עברתי לאייפון 12 מיני. יצא מהקופסא לפני שבוע. ונחשו מה? המכשיר מתחמם לאחר 15-20 דקות שימוש. לא קורה באף אפליקציה אחרת.

אפליקציית הארץ. האפליקציה כבדה מאד ועל כן לעיתים איטית מאד. בהשוואה לדוגמה לאפליקציית N12 . ניתן לקרוא את העיתון באפליקציה רק אנכית ולא במאוזן. אפשרות קריאת המאמרים לפי דרוג ונושאים מתאימה ונוחה.

פירסומות מגעילות. פירסומות לאתרי הכרות מפוקפקים וקצת פורנו. איכס. Totally inappropriate!!

אפליקציה כושלת כמו כל דבר דיגיטלי שהארץ עושים.. אני אוהב את עיתון הארץ, באמת. זה, לטעמי, העיתון הישראלי היחיד שעוד קריא. אבל האתר והאפליקציה של הארץ הם חרפה ומצג מונומנטלי של שלומיאליות. אין לי את הכח או הסבלנות לפרט את המוני הכשלים באפליקציה, אסתפק בלציין שלמרות שהייתי רוצה לתמוך בהארץ, ולו רק ע״מ לשמר את הקול השפוי הכמעט אחרון בעיתונות העיברית, כל עוד נמשך הזלזול המשווע הזה בקוראים אין מצב שהעיתון יראה ממני ולו פרוטה יחידה ובגלל שאין אופציות בעיברית אני עובר יותר ויותר לחלופות באנגלית כמו הבי בי סי, הגארדיאן והניו יורק טיימס.

כל הכבוד. שידרוג עצום לעומת הגירסה הקודמת, גם מבחינת נוחות וגם מבחינת יציבות.

אוּף הפוֹנט של כפתורי הבחירה. בראש הדף קטנוּ (והתעבוּ) לפחות ב1/3 וזה מקשה מאוד ללא סיבה. בבקשה שפרוּ מבלי לפגוע בבהירוּת הזיהוּי. באיזה מכשיר אני משתמש? iPhone 13pro Max

עובד די טוב, רק אל תספימו עם נוטיפיקציות.. רוצה נוטיפיקציות רק כשיש אירוע חשוב..

שדרוג מבורך. סופסוף אפליקציה מעולה.

עובד הרבה יותר טוב מהקודמת אבל.... מה שהשתפר בגרסה הזאת היא שגודל הגופן נשאר בגודל שהמשתמש בוחר בו, שלא כמו בגרסה הקודמת. מה שלא אהבתי זה שאי אפשר לעשות לייק או דיסלייק לתגובה

Inefficient app. Love the content. But 1.1GM memory is about 10x more than any comparable app.

Bad version. Recent update simply bad - app crashes constantly, logging in takes forever, and then the app won't keep you logged in - it kicks you out every time.

צריך לסדר את זה. אפליקציית הארץ היא אפליקציה טובה התוכן כמובן מעולה אבל הייתי מצפה שמישהו שמשלם תשלום קבוע למנוי לא יצטרך להיתקל באפליקציות כל הזמן. אבל ממש כל הזמן זה כבר מוגזם.

אין תמיכה לאייפון 5!!. אני חושב שחיכיתי מספיק זמן. בנוסף לכך, התמונות לא מופיעות כמו שצריך.

מה לגבי גרסה סבירה לטאבלטים?. ההגדלה של גרסת האייפון נראית רע מאוד

Why no native iPad version?. Most of the great newspaper apps take advantage of the iPad's real estate, and while there is an excellent app for the weekly Musaf, this paper's app is a joke.

מתי כבר תתקנו???. את נושא גודל הכתב שיאפשר לאנשים שהם לא צעירים להשתמש באפליקציה? זה פשוט מדהים איך דבר כזה קטן ל עובד.

צבי ארצי. האפליקציה של הארץ לא ראוייה לתואר ׳אפליקציה׳... אשמח להעניק 5 כוכבים כשהיא תהיה כמו העיתון ידיעות אחרונות (לא YNet).

I love it.. Very easy to navigate. Very handy. נהדר.

זווועה. לפחות במכשיר iPad העיצוב נראה מזעזע. הדף הראשי מעוצב בפונט ענק שגורם לדף להראות רק באופן חלקי. גם לא אסתטי וגם מאד לא נוח.

מצויין חוץ מעניין אחד. אני מנוי לעוד עיתונים שאני צורך באפליקציה ואף לא באחד מהם יש באנר מגעיל ומכוער עם כפתורי ביטול נסתרים בכל פעם ש האפליקציה נפתחת. זה לא לרמה של העיתון הזה ולא לרמה של הקוראים שלו. זה מחייב תיקון. מעבר לזה, העיתון עצמו, הכותבים, הפודקאסטים, הכל מעולה. אבל בחייאת, תעיפו את הבאנר/פרסומת המזעזע/ת הזה כשפותחים את האפליקציה. תעשו מנוי לוושינגטון פוסט, לניו יורק טיימס, לגארדיאן, ככה נפתחות האפליקציות שלהם?

לא נורא בכלל. קודם כל אומר שאני מנוי - ולכן לא יודע מהי חווית המשתמש של אילו שאינם מנויים נראה לי במבט חפוז שרבות מהתגובות השליליות נובעות מאכזבתם של משתמשים חינמיים מהגבלת התכנים למנויים. אז לזה אני לא אתייחס. לעצם השימוש באפליקציה, החוויה סבירה בהחלט. כן יש פס פרסומת - לי הוא לא מפריע אני לא משתמש באיי פד אז לא יודע מה הסיפור שם. הנקודה הבעייתית היחידה - מדי פעם אפליקציה מתקרשת - את זה צריך לתקן - אבל ראיתי הרבה יותר גרוע.

קול לא עובד. אלגוריתם להצגת מאמרים יבש. אני לא מצליח לנגן שום דבר באפליקציה. זו האפליקציה היחידה שזה קורה לי. תמיכה טכנית לא הצליחו לעזור ואז נעלמו. עוד דבר, האלגוריתם שמציג מאמרים בסוף כך מאמר לא משתנה, כך שאתה רואה שוב ושוב את אותם מאמרים (באותו יום) במקום לתת קישורים שונים. יותר מזה, האלגוריתם לא יודע להחסיר מאמרים שנקראו. בעמודים הראשונים הם מסומנים באפור, אבל מה זה נותן לי? במקום זה, תנו לי דרך לבקמרק את המאמרים שאהבתי שאוכל לשוב אליהם ואל תראו לי אותם יותר. חוץ מזה אפליקציה בסדר. פונט ועיצוב יפה ונוח.

The worst. How bad can be an app? Apparently Haaretz was able to develop the worst app ever. Annoying, confusing, unfriendly. Disgrace.

Stay away from this app. Full of ads, articles full of lies, app using BIG % of phone memory. Stay away from this crap

Insane paywall. The ratio between paid (translated mostly) and publicly available is outrageous. Nickel and dime journalism. It's off my iPhone I regret to say, it used to be a really deep paper. For shame.

מנוי משולב - הארץ + דה מרקר. חווית הקניה של מנוי משולב דרך האפ סטור היה ממש גרועה . הארץ הוא אולי העיתון הכי יקר בארץ , חבל שחלק מדמי המנוי לא מושקעים בחווית קניה וניהול מנוי .

האפליקציה נתקעת באופן תדיר. הרבה מהאפשרויות לא עובדות באופן מוצלח. קשה לשנות את גודל הפונט. אין על האייפון שלי אפליקציה שגורמת ליותר בעיות. ממש תמוהה.

יש עתון אחר?. אפליקציה טוה מאד וחיונית מאד מההיבט התכני. לא יכולה בלעדיו.

העיתון הכי טוב בארץ, אם לא בעולם!. המשיכו ככה!

Excellent paper. ההערה הנכונה להארת היא הסיסמא שקדמה ל עולם הזה: ״בלי מורא ובלי משוא פנים״. אכן עמוס שוקן הולך בדרכו הברוכה של אביו בניהול חכם, אמיץ, וישר של העיתון

מהיר יותר מהאתר, אבל הפרסומת בפתיחת האפליקציה מציקה. אין ספק שנוח ומהיר יותר להתעדכן בחדשות באמצעות האפליקציה. אבל זה ממש מציק לראות פרסומת בכל פעם שאני פותח את האפליקציה.

אין עיתון בארץ כמו ״הארץ״!!!. אלף אחוז מומלץ!

אם אתם אוהבים פרסומות קופצות. עיתון הארץ הוא עיתון מעולה. אפליקציית הארץ, לעמותו, מקפיצה מדי כמה דקות פרסומות רעשניות שחוסמות את המסך ומפריעות לקריאת הכתבות. ועבור זה אתם נדרשים לשלם דמי מנוי - כדי לקרוא כתבות בין ים הפרסומות. בזיון.

אין וורסיה לאייפד?. זה ממש מגוחך להשתמש האפליקציה של הטלפון באייפד.

העדכון החדש. העדכון אינו תואם לעדכון של IOS13 , כל הכתבות אינן קריאות משום שכל תחילת משפט נשמט בגלל מסגרת לבנה.

האפליקציה לא נפתחת. זה כבר מעל לשבוע שהאפליקציה לא נפתחת. למה אנשי הארץ לא מתקנים את הבאגים? אני ממשיכה לשלם עבור המנוי אבל את השירות אני לא מקבלת!

Crap. Terrible type face and annoying advertisements.
