💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

We transfer money over €4 billion every month. We enable individual and business accounts to save 4 million Euros on bank transfer fees. Want to send free money abroad or transfer money abroad for free? Free international money transfer!

Best thing since sliced bread...almost!!. If you are concerned about security, identity theft or protecting your password protected accounts and data, this is a MUST-have!! Having unique and complex passwords for EVERY account you have is imperative to protect yourself and to minimize the risk if one of your accounts is breached! Until Dashlane came along, the possibility of having a different and complex password for every account was IMPOSSIBLE - there was no way to remember them all or to store them securely. Dashlane has solved the problem ! I thought this was just another gimmicky app that wasn't really going to meet the expectations or claims. I was SO wrong! After seeing Dashlane recommended by some top internet security guys who had just appeared before Congress, talking about internet security, I figured I'd give it a shot. All I can say is, "WOW!" Dashlane provides me with security and the ability to have different passwords for EVERYTHING I do online and check out of online stores with just a click or two. Getting automatically logged into every site you have an account with is SO nice! This app saves time and gives you as much piece of mind as you can possibly get. Don't hesitate to "Go Premium" - the price is well worth it!

it’s good. I’ve used its Premium plan for years. I’ve used other password managers that are pretty good, too, but lack all of the best qualities of dashlane: excellent syncing among devices and better recognition of login fields on websites, though with so many millions of websites with logins, perfection with that is impossible. Bitwarden and 1Password are also good, but Bitwarden’s recognition of login fields on websites paled in comparison with Dashlane’s. 1Password existed years before Dashlane but had horrible syncing among devices then improved that pretty well but overall is still clunkier. If Bitwarden had great (not just better) website login field recognition, I’d reconsider it. Dashlane’s development team seems to have hit its stride after its scary transition from a desktop apps to browser apps. I was skeptical and disliked the browser app’s reduced features until Dashlane restored them. They’ve continued to improve and expand features. Dashlane’s family and business plans are good, and so is its sharing feature among individual Premium users. I help my own clients set up Dashlane Premium, Family and Business subscriptions but mostly and daily have experience with Premium. Dashlane has pulled away from the pack.

It works well in comparison to other services out there. I’ve used most pw managers out there. Each one has its idiosyncrasies. Dashlane is definitely among the best I’ve used (I use two different pw managers for work and Dashlane for personal). It takes some time to configure settings properly and the auto fill controls could use some work. Ultimately though, it works exactly how I want 98% of the time which is definitely not the case for other services (cough cough 1Password). Dashlane strikes a balance between usability, design, and obviously digital security. Long story short, if you’re new to pw managers, I’d take the promotion/free trial and compare with 1 or 2 other options (I recommend trying BitWarden for low cost, ease of use, and top tier security). You really just have to see which design makes sense given your circumstances. Auto generated pws, auto saving email/username for new sign ups, pw sharing between secure contacts, sensitive info storage aka address, emails, payment info etc all work very well if you take the time to configure how you’d like the software to run. Best of luck and stay secure!

Don’t trust your data with them. I’ve have Dashlane for the last two years and suddenly without any notice, I lose several of my passwords. Afterwards, I start experiencing syncing issues between devices. I tried performing a few troubleshooting steps like logging off and login back in just to find out that I can’t log in any device other than the website. I then had to deal with customer support for close to two weeks with absolutely no useful help. I told them the steps I took, and all I got in response was basically to repeat them. After all the wasted time, I tried backup my remaining information and switching to another service only to find out that the manner in which they format their CSV file isn’t comparable with any other service, and to do so would require format manipulation of all my passwords. Honestly, I am not going to waste time on such a tedious task. Then I requested a refund just to get told they can’t offer me my money back due to the method In which I paid. Other than that, the software works great when there are no issues, but when there is, it sure shows you all the glaring flaws the company has. If you like customer support, or any useful support concerning this service or its app, just talk to a brick wall, it might provide you with more useful information.

Free Version Worthwhile, Paid is Stellar. As a Dashlane user for over three years, I couldn’t recommend this app highly enough! As long as you can remember one “master” password, Dashlane allows you to use that, or biometrics, to have a digital library of unlimited, unguessable, wildly random passwords. I use the password generator almost exclusively. You can accept the one given, have it make another until your happy, and/or change it any way you want before saving. Dashlane can generate passwords of various lengths, so maxing out the possibilities for each website is easy. You can also customize or limit which characters are used for those sticky websites that won’t accept your favorite weird one. One small quirk to be aware of is some websites will not accept straight cut and paste. My easy fix is to enter a blank character at the end of the password, then backspace over it. That forces most forms to accept it. Dashlane provides confidence in having extremely secure, unguessable passwords. Changing passwords often is a good online security technique. Dashlane makes it easy and fast. Dashlane is by far one of my most utilized and practical apps. Definitely earns a rating of 5 stars for such a well made and useful utility.

Intelligent and works. After years using ROboForm, the desktop version of RF is good, but got tired of waiting for them to improve IOS app. After significant research I came down to RF or Dashlane. My upmost requirement was security, intelligence, simplicity, and most importantly the encryption key was not to be stored on any servers to attract hackers, insiders, or NSA. If the service offers password recovery, then they are storing your encryption key and so eliminated. LassPass and most others were eliminated, RoboForm and DashLane survived the cut. But once I tried out Dashlane I was quickly impressed. The user interface is excellent, intelligent, and fast. There are options to really lock your data down. These include secondary password via texting, the ability to require a password even when logged on for very sensitive accounts so even if a foe was to get on your computer while not locking, to your still safe. I especially like the password evaluation dashboard which can automatically change weak passwords for you on many common accounts. Password generator and genre red password log should you lose it. The app even downloads icons for the sites to make it easy for you to find the password your looking for. Yea, I like this app, the iPhone and desktop versions.

1Password Switcher. I used 1Password for YEARS without any issues, until I recently was using Windows often enough that I considered needing to get it on the Windows side as well, and realized how high their prices had become. I wanted something that works seamlessly between both Mac and Windows, and Dashlane does all of it. It even has a separate password generator window, unlike 1P, where it’s a pop up, and can go away accidentally if you click the wrong part of the screen. Finally, as much as I liked 1P, it didn’t always save passwords properly (it did *most* of the time), but haven’t had the same issue with Dashlane. May 2020 update - I’m coming up on 2 years of using Dashlane, and I love it. It’s even more "set it and forget it" than any other password manager I’ve used. Since it's online, it’s super easy to log into the website from any computer I’m using to gain access to my passwords. This does mean that you need a very strong, but memorable password, but it also means you can make all your other passwords extremely strong, so you don’t NEED to remember them.

I simply love it.... I’m an IT Professional and I have been using LastPass for the past three years. It started to act up on me and when I tried to contact their customer service I couldn’t even get a phone number to call! I followed all of their online support articles but my issues remained unsolved. I decided to give Dashlane a try and after 3 days I basically fell in love with it :) it’s a well designed overall app, and the UI on the iOS app is nice and easy to use, as well as the UI for the macOS app. I was able to export all off my data (passwords & secure notes) from LastPass and import them to Dashlane during the initial setup process, which was a breeze by the way and they walk you through every step of the way. You really don’t need to be an IT person to use this service, it’s certainly designed for the average user who is trying to have a simple and easy way to manage their passwords and have them all secure and available on all of their devices. Highly recommend the premium subscription, it’s definitely worth the money.

This app has saved me countless hours and heart ach. I rarely do reviews but this app has saved me on a couple of key occasions that I wouldn’t know what I would have done without it. I use to save all of my passwords in what seemed like 100 plus accounts (bank accounts, apps, etc) on an excel spreadsheet. Most of my passwords were very similar with only a few variations so that I knew them from memory. Then my email got hacked 2 months ago and they opened up that excel sheet and had access to everything including my Apple ID. They attempted wiring money out of my account plus many other things before I knew what happened. Through Dashlane I was able to change all 100 plus accounts passwords within a few hours and they are all now very complex passwords that are saved safely in this app. Peace of mind and the ability to cut and paste these complex passwords from my iPhone make this app a no brainer.

But even a good one doesn’t make you safe. I trust Dashlane, have found it easy to use. Wish at the get-go I had input MORE info and added spouse’s too. Still, since wholesale thefts of databases continue, both my husband and myself are recent victims of identity theft and I am now spending hours reporting, changing passwords, adding alerts, etc. It is my new Pandemic Part-Time job. 1. Get a good password manager like Dashlane. 2. Input everything ya’ got. Use it faithfully. 3. Read anything they send you. Pay attention to flags or alerts. 4. Scrutinize your credit reports annually, like changing the batteries in your smoke detector ... it’s the same thing! 5. Weekly, glance at your bank balances and major credit card totals, make sure nothing hugely off. 6. And nonetheless, if you receive a Potential Fraud notice from anybody, drop what you’re doing and start building your file. Good luck. I’m pouring a drink now.

Overall Happy experience. I got really into making my online presence secure a couple years ago. Did some research and it seemed like Dashlane was the best password manager app. Better than LastPass. They were both rated as the best but unlike LastPass, Dashlane has never been penetrated from the outside. I like the easy operation, the password generator and the fact I have some crazy complex passwords that are auto-filled for me and all I need to do is remember the main password for the app and enter it in every 2 weeks or so. That’s it. It’s really easy. The auto fill is nice when I go to a website. I also like for the computer version of the app they changed it from a stand alone program to a google plugin type thing that shown in the top right of my webpage next to the address bar. Since they changed this, the auto fill and auto sign on feature for computer works every single time now. Overall great app.

I am screwed because of this. Beware that if you misplace your password for the app, that you will be unable to ever get any help in unlocking or resetting the app. Unfortunately I signed up for the premium service where I am paying a significant amount of money each month and somehow shortly after signing up for the app and setting up the premium service, I lost the password (which is kind of the whole point to even having a password manager, right?) and despite numerous attempts to contact Dashlane to seek some kind of help, I have never heard back from them. The credit card I used to sign up for the service will expire next month and hopefully I only lost about 5 months worth of ‘service’ and after it expires I can maybe try and get my life back in order again. I would recommend that if you are going to sign up for this app or service that you note down the password somewhere that you can get to, because of you do lose it you will not under any circumstances get any help from Dashlane, no matter how much you paid. I sent them at least 4 emails about this problem and got zero response. Please beware of this!

So helpful, if you’re tech savvy!. I’ll say this app has helped me with productivity and peace of mind more times than I can count. Possibly my favorite app and money well spent for the subscription. The only downside is when it doesn’t work due to potential compatibility issues with the browser or if multiple passwords are saved for one login. These issues can usually be overcome by going directly to the app and literally copying the password to paste into the login screen. If you’re not the most tech savvy person, these could be hurdles that bring more frustration than peace of mind. I have endorsed the app to a few of my work colleagues and the less tech savvy of them tend to forget to open the app before attempting to login to websites or are unaware that there is a copy/paste feature. Personally, I’ll continue to use the app as it has improved my work life substantially. I’m excited to see how the app evolves and finds answers to some of these understandable issues.

Great to be organized and secure. With Dashlane I have organized my login credentials, generated strong passwords, and my password manager operates across programs and platforms. When I first installed it I took the opportunity to review the dozens of website logins I had amassed in my Mac Keychain. I logged into each and created new passwords. With some I immediately wrote to the website and asked to close the account; with others I kept the account and put the login info Dashlane. I now have unique, strong passwords for all my logins. I am also very pleased to be untethered from Safari, as Dashlane works with all browsers on my computer as well as on my iPhone, where Mac Keychain is limited to Safari. Further, I have installed the dark web monitoring which alerts me to change passwords when a site has a data breach. Lastly, I upgraded to the paid version so I have VPN access when I am at a coffee shop or hotel. I feel good about having such well organized login credentials, secure passwords, interoperability across programs and platforms, and general safety.

Dashlane makes life easier and safer.. I like Dashlane a lot it has made doing things on the internet much safer and less frustrating. I no longer have to write down all of my passwords which are wrong a good portion of the time. That is because there are lots of sites I seldom go to and I go to them from different devices so I change them on the fly and forget to update the list. Since I got Dashlane a couple of years ago don’t have to look for that list anymore because I have Dashlane on all my devices and it keeps all of my passwords synced on all my devices. Now I don’t have to reuse the same Password on multiple sites because I don’t have to Rembrandt then anymore. Finally I believe the security is great especially for online banking and shopping sites and that is why I got it in the beginning. Now I put all sites I need to go in dashlane because it is so easy and I don’t need to remember any passwords.

Dashlane doesn't work on multiple iPads at the same time.. I've been working for a long, frustrating time with Dashlane Support trying to figure out why I can only keep one iPad connected to my Dashlane account at a time. Everytime I connect one iPad the other two iPads I own are bounced off with the app crashing and then requiring the process of "adding a new device". It's a frustrating cycle, especially when you're trying to quickly access a password and no one at Dashlane seems to have an answer. UPDATE... I'm raising my rating to acknowledge that a solution was finally found after a week of back and forth and also to recognize that Dashlane is responsive and sticks with a support case. Here was their solution that finally fixed things..."It seems its all related to ID's that are assigned in the background to devices for "advertising" purposes.". If two (or more) devices have the same advertising "identifier" Dashlane will only allow one device active access to the account.

Makes me feel safer. It’s not ideal to have random 10 character passwords, unique to each app or site, but after having two identity theft situations, I feel a lot safer. If there is a breach (like experian), the app tells you and which accounts were affected so you can immediately change your passwords. There’s also a feature that will update them all, but I don’t use that. Yes, google can save all your stuff, but I feel like google knows enough about me already. You make one safe password (don’t forget it, it’s possible to retrieve it but difficult, that’s the point) and that gives you access to all the others. You can log in to sites and apps via dashlane. On my computer, if the app is open it will auto fill. I also store credit card numbers, ss# of my parents, stuff like that. I’ve never used another password manager and for sure it is simpler to just save passwords on your phone or through a browser but this is an extra layer of protection. Everything is in one place and if you lose your phone or computer you can access everything through the web site. It even has an emergency contact so that if you get hit by a bus someone has access to all your stuff to pay your bills. Worth it to me. It’s $69/yr for premium and I use all the features but you can try it for free.

Free version, lost EVERYTHING. Dashlane worked like a dream for me for over a year. It was the perfect solution to organizing all of my extremely important data and have it readily available at my fingertips. It really was too good to be true. Until one day, Apple (I have an iPhone), offloaded the Dashlane app to save storage on my phone. When I reinstalled it, Dashlane viewed this as me trying to register a second device (I use the free version) and poof, my data was gone. Everything. Over 100 passwords and pieces of invaluable information. Upon contacting Dashlane for assistance, they said sorry you are out of luck, you should have paid for the premium version to use multiple devices. But I was just trying to use the same one device all along. In other words, there is absolutely no backup of your data if you use the free version. If your phone gets lost, damaged, stolen, or you accidentally uninstall the app (or if Apple does this for you) then you are totally screwed. This was not made clear to me as a user, or I obviously would have arranged for some kind of backup of my data elsewhere. I trusted Dashlane with my most important personal information, and they failed me. I would recommend trying another app but NOT Dashlane!!!!

Easy to use. I am a long time user of password management software, going back many years -Roboform, LastPass and now DashLane. My favorite now is DashLane because it is a good meld of super easy to use Roboform and LastPass’s modern tight securit. I don’t doubt that Roboform is quite secure, but it fell behind slightly. DashLane convinced me to move from LastPass because of such a simple idea... I use a very secure master password, so it can be hard to type correctly. LastPass hides what you type for the master password, so it’s a real test of careful typing and multiple tries to get it right. DashLane also hides the master password as you type for public security but it lets you reveal your typing if you choose, so I get it right quickly. And DashLane is near seem less compared to LastPass. The only thing I miss from LastPass is the good grouping of site passwords in its storage view. With DashLane it seems just a scramble, so I must rely on searching to find a sight’s password. Also, LastPass categorizes things like secure notes, credit cards and identification info much better than DashLane. I hope DashLane is reading this & improving that aspect.

You need this even if you don’t know it. I can not tell you how much I love Dashlane, I’ve never had a issue, never had a complaint and never want to go without. I have so many accounts it’s impossible for me to keep a secure (not reused) password for them all, until I started using Dashlane. All these years later... I’m still with them 100%. Nothing makes me more happy then having crazy password that even the NSA couldn’t crack. The security of knowing that if any one account gets hacked or compromised, they will not effect any of my other accounts. Looking back I can’t image a life without a password service. Yes it cost money but the stress relief of not worrying and not remembering, makes it so worth it. You literally only need to remember 1 password, the one to sign into Dashlane. You get to have your cake and eat it too. *Update* It has been a while since I first reviewed this app and I know most see a update as they “finally failed” or they fixed serious issues. Honestly, I still use Dashlane daily, I still tell everyone about Dashlane, I’m a very happy customer and I don’t plan to leave anytime soon. All of that being said, I liked the PC application but it has been phased out, it’s in the browser only now. It hasn’t really changed anything, nothing is particularly harder or easier to do but I miss the app because I didn’t have to open the browser.

Never have to remember anything!. I love that I don’t have to ever remember anything ever again! Well that’s not completely true. I do have to remember my Dashlane password LOL. I love that I don’t have to use brain cells to come up with a creative, different, encoded, unique, ambiguous, ridiculously cryptic password everytime I create an account for something - which let’s face it is almost daily now. Dashlane does that all. It can keep track of info across your different devices too. Although Dashlane can log you into your accounts and sites automatically I’m not super excited about that feature. I don’t exactly remember why since it’s been a minute since I turned that off on my phone. Had something to do with it disabling keychain and reconfiguring the way things were logging me in. Wasn’t any more or less secure than keychain it was just more about me relearning how to do things and I wasn’t about it at the time so I turned the feature off and poof I was back on keychain.

iOs Password Generation and Syncing Broken. While there are many positive things to say about Dashlane, using it on an iPhone has become increasingly frustrating. Whenever I try to generate a new password for a site or an app, Dashlane shows it as saved and listed with the other passwords in the password menu - complete with app or website info. However, the website or app immediately disappears from the Dashlane app when you next try to pull it up to fill in the password for the new site- it simply no longer listed in the password menu. While it may - or may not - show up hours later, that does not help when you are trying to sign into a new app or had to change a password that you need NOW. In addition, it takes FOREVER for a password that is newly saved on a pc using the web extensions (now the only supported way of using Dashlane on a computer) to show up on the iOS app. And yes, I sync the pc web app immediately after saving the password. Where is the sync function on the iOS app (there is none…)? I try the recommended logging out of the app and logging back in, but this still does not work. Passwords need to be immediately available on a device once they are saved on that device, and need to be immediately available on all devices once they are synced.

Early Adopter, Still Love It!. I’ve been using Dashlane for years. My husband and I both use it for everything from saving private medical notes, credit cards, IDs, passports, IP addresses (for printers and devices), usernames, logins, and addresses. I use it either via the app or on my PC AT LEAST 50x a day - for personal and work things. It’s helped me to get away from using the same password and I like their password generator. It also alerts me when accounts or passwords are compromised, but, unfortunately only some of those accounts allow Dashlane access to “auto” change the password. That’s not on Dashlane, I just wish that worked far more often than it does for me. It’s well worth the premium membership. I’ve recommended it to my family, boss, and friends. They’re responsible to inquiries when I need help, and I LOVE that it in includes a free and unlimited VPN (via a partnership with HotspotShield at this time… it used to be built in, but I like using HotspotShield.) Definitely recommended for personal and professional use.

Excellent App. Used Roboform for years, probably at least a decade, before getting fed up with it. Each “improvement” created a more bloated & complicated program that started getting bundled w/other bloated software. Anyway, I began using Brave when it first came out and Dashlane was the pw manager that worked with baby Brave. Tried it, liked it. Simple to use. Best when used on a lap or desktop (do desktops still exist?). Bit if a pain when used w/iPad - don’t believe I’ve used it on my iPhone, so can’t speak to that. When using it on a mobile device, it does require you to input your master password or, it fairly recently offered, a pin - every time you need to enter a pw. Now that is a pain but it is a safety feature for a device that can be more easily accessed by strangers. It does sync along devices quite nicely. Only complaint I have, and this is not unique to Dashlane, is it’s a pain trying to remember what part of the program you go to in order to update what info. Oh, and it will interfere with using the autosaving of pw info that mobile iOS offers. I don’t tend to use that feature, so that’s not an issue for me.

Features complicate beauty of this tool. UPDATE of RATING: I have removed another 2 stars as it seems this app is now totally worthless on the iPhone or iPad...even the supposed “open it in Dashlane” function does nothing but open the login webpage without inserting the login information. Also, many sites on the PC have login windows that Dashlane does not recognize and thus does not populate...banking sites in particular. The fact that I have to remember what sites work and which don’t on the PC makes it a real bother. I am almost ready to abandon it. Also it tells you that your account is compromised hundreds of times even though you have changed your password. So how are you supposed to know if it was compromised since the last password change? Original Review: I have this on PC a Send iPhone. I find on the PC it works fairly well when you go to enter a password or something you see the icons giving you a choice from the selection list if there are multiple possible entries. I hate the fact keeps asking me for receipts but you can turn that off. On iPhone it's another matter I found it totally useless. There seems to be no integration between Safari and this application. Then if you go to the application and login you never get the thread that you were pursuing from an email that required logging in Safari. Am I missing something?

Intuitive, Organized Data, Indispensable. The vault has been tremendously helpful especially while on the go. Accessing secure password storage is the primary function for me closely followed by automatic webpage login, payment storage and receipt documentation from Web purchases. The delta are the following (1) very slow startup when booting the computer - I turned this off and start Dashlane manually (2) slow or non-existent sync across devices, the main menu sync now button rarely works and have to go into open sync preferences option to sync the data (3) serious login competition between browser password storage and Dashlane despite selecting Dashlane as main login extension which actually makes login very difficult (4) when at a webpage and seeking to generate a password, the automatic password generation dialogue box creates a password that Dashlane later says is good or unsafe but if I use the “manual” extension password generator, I get a much more complex and very safe password that is generally far more acceptable to websites such as medical or financial institutions.

Can’t Live Without It!. I got this recommended by a CS professor and I paid for the full version within a month of usage. It is so convenient and I’m able to share passwords with my spouse for important accounts. I don’t have to research or write them in my notes on my iPhone anymore. I love that it randomizes and I like the new VPN they added. I will say regarding the VPN though, there might be companies that do a better job of dedicated VPN service. I am however discontinuing my additional paid subscription to PIA as they got bought out by a notorious malware company. One con is that in the past I’ve had issues with it identifying all of the password spaces or recognizing that it needed to auto fill. There are some autonomous features that have a glitch here and there but overall it’s not the worst. Overall it’s an amazing app and I truly can’t live without it now. I feel more secure and I don’t think twice about accessing my accounts anymore.

Going to look for a new password app.. Dashlane is honestly only useful for storing your passwords in a way that can only be accessed with your fingerprint. It’s no better than writing them down physically and locking them in a safe. The automatic account upload of known accounts and passwords on your phone is a mess. I have multiple username/email and password combinations for one site uploaded by Dashlane and I have to guess which one is the right combination because the app automatically uploads the wrong info. The auto-login is horrible as well. Dashlane uploaded what it thought was my account log in for a federal financial aid website (it was incorrect, unbeknownst to me). When I hit login from Dashlane the app filled in the wrong login and each time the website attempted to tell me it was the wrong info, Dashlane just automatically enters the wrong info again. It sends you on a loop of wrong login to an error message over and over again until I’m locked out of my account for too many incorrect attempts. You can’t stop the app from auto logging into because it refreshes the page within a millisecond. This app is a mess. I’m trying to organize all of my accounts and this app has only made things worse.

The Best Hands Down Password Manager. Yes, this is a great application, with plugins for your browser. It keeps track of your online userid's and passwords. It makes using hard to crack passwords possible to use and not loose; your mind. The app is free, this is true. It does have a fee though for those of us with multiple, impossible to count (or two) Mac's and/or PC's if the case might be, or boot camp where I run both OS applications on my MacBook Pro. The ability to sync across apps is worth the cost. Remembering passwords and not needing to remember them or use 1,2 perhaps 5 different ones, impossible these days without a great manager like this. You can even export your data to a spreadsheet and put it under your mattress if that's your thing. This is a five as it keeps me sane. It might have even helped me quit smoking and not killing anyone. Seriously an application for everyone, free version, but seriously worth the cost of an upgraded sync across device price.

Time to give Dashlane the rating it deserves!. I’ve been using Dashlane now for nearly 5 years. Over that period of time I’ve accumulated hundreds of passwords and an impressive collection of sensitive information that I never seem to have when I want it (like my passport number or car registration numbers). At first, integration with browsers was a bit sketchy but no matter what I could always go to Dashlane and copy my username/password and paste it into a browser. It’s always there, on all my devices (Mac, PC, iPad, iPHones) and has never let me down. I’ve helped over a dozen folks get started with Dashlane and its been simply life changing for those still keeping their data on cheat sheets. Of late, the improvements seems to be coming along regularly. Most recently with iOS 12, integration with FaceID has been a game changer! Now it all just works without me even entering my Master Password on the keyboard. I also see VPN has been added for the Premium subscriber as well. So hats off to the Dashlane team for a great product that sees regular updates at a very reasonable price!!! 5 stars for sure!!!

Passwords have been disappearing. I really like this app and service. Currently, I have over 300+ passwords saved. However, I’ve been beginning to notice more recently and frequently that passwords are disappearing from Dashlane. Using the web extension, a password and account will be randomly missing. This could be a password to an account I use everyday- poof! Randomly gone. The account and password are not findable, but if I log into the mobile app, it will be there. This is super inconvenient and disappointing. In addition to this, if I create a username/password for a website on the web extension, it does not register on my mobile device until I physically open the app. Outside of these issues, I do have other smaller occasional issues but they are not as inhibiting as the ones mentioned above. I really like using Dashlane and have for the last 3-4 years, but these issues are a big problem for me. For the price, because Dashlane charges nearly $30 more a year than other comparable services, I wouldn’t expect to have these particular issues mentioned above. Will definitely continue using Dashlane for a few more months to judge if this bug/glitch is resolved, if not, I will need to consider a different option as being locked out of any of my accounts is far from ideal and could potentially prevent me from working.

Really good app..... This app is really a benefit in todays world. It’s getting way to hard to keep all the information under control w/o a little help & this app definitely helps. Having said that there is a pretty steep learning curve with all these password manager apps, but this one is the best at helping a noob along the way. I tried 3 others before I found Dashlane & it is miles ahead of the others in terms of “user friendliness”, if you will. The PC aspect of this manager is a breeze once you get it set up & have a little time to get your head wrapped around what is going on. The mobile side of it is a real battle though, at least on IOS devices. As much difficulty as I seem to have, though pales in comparison to the other apps I tried, they were impossible to get past the mobile setup part, didn’t even get to really use them because of set up issues. The biggest thing reason for getting a manager was PC and phone communicating & keeping each other current. Dashlane has managed to do this for me w/o any need for help from support, which after the first three experiences I didn’t think would ever happen. So if you an old newbie like me, then you can’t go wrong with this app.

I Would be LOST without this App!!. This app is fantastic...have been using it for years and it only keeps getting better. I would be absolutely LOST without it. All recent breaches in security online and in stores did not matter to me for 2 reasons...1. My passwords were never saved on those sites and Dashlane has not been compromised (by the way - nice job, Dashlane!!) and 2. When I have needed to quickly change my passwords, I have used Dashlane's password generator and change my passwords quickly, efficiently and securely. I love that Dashlane can populate for me if I choose, but also can now store other types of sensitive information such as ID's you don't want to carry, payment methods and secure notes you need to make. Overall - again, I could not live without this app. One suggestion I would love to see in a future update...would be for accounts you no longer want to use...maybe the ability to use Dashlane to deactivate your account and help remove your data to unsubscribe from a site you are no longer interested in having an account with, so that sensitive information does not need to float about on the interweb :) Overall - GREAT job Dashlane!! I have already renewed my premium for 5 years...because this app and my online security are of utmost importance to me!! Thank you!!

Secure, Easy to Use, Modern Method.. I never bother creating, storing, memorizing, or recalling my passwords myself anymore. Instead, I let Dashlane handle these mundane tasks. The iPhone app is so easy to use. Using Dashlane, my passwords it generates are far more secure than any I would come up with because they can be far longer, can contain special characters, and are not reused for the multiple websites I log in to. To create a new password, I just hit the Plus sign in the Dashlane app, type the name of the website where I'll use the password, select both the number and types of characters for the password, generate the password, copy it, and paste it into the Password field on the Web page where I need that password. To retrieve a password, I just take a look at the Web sites I have saved, select the one I'm visiting, copy the hidden password, and paste it into the Password field. It's actually a good feeling not knowing any password other than my master Dashlane password. I've used Dashlane for years and it frees you to focus on more important things. I recommend this app!

Excellent. This app is a life saver to remember my endless list of passwords and important information. I use this app on my iPad, iPhone, Windows Laptop, and Windows Desktop. It works very well and has been really excellent. I did experience some issues with the Dashlane app not being update on one device, meaning the password for a specific website. Example: If I update a password on my iPhone, the dashlane app will update the password. When I switch to the iPad, if the Dashlane app has not synced and I try to use the password it has the old password. So I just need to remember to update the dashlane app on my device before I use it. I know it caused some frustration where my wife went to use Dashlane, and I had changed a password and since she didn’t refresh or update the app first, dashlane was using an outdated password. So word to the wise - make sure you update the app when switching devices often, like our family does. I think its definitely worth the money and worth keeping your passwords safe. I now use much more complex passwords since I don’t have to memorize it.

Has lost its luster. About 4 years ago based on a positive NYT review, this was my go to app to manage more than 1,000 work and personal passwords. I am very pleased with the security and sharing abilities. However as the number of devices I own has increased, and the multiplication of the security efforts I have to manage as a data analyst for a UC medical center - the burdens of repetitive logins needed on devices using Face ID influenced me to switch to RememBear. In contrast to Dashlane, the look and feel of RememBear actually lightens the onerous tasks involving passwords and provides just the right amount of animation and other confidence building measures. Dashlane suffers from Microsoft type bloat - adding progressive features in a way that now makes simple tasks many layered and cumbersome. The proverbial last straw for Dashlane was its inability to export a csv file with database column headers - an omission that almost seems designed to frustrate a user’s attempt to migrate their own data. Unfortunately I have to live in both a Windows (very reluctantly) and OS x iOS world - but RememBear looks pleasing and functions seamlessly across the spectrum. Inexplicably RememBear is not available on the Apple App Store - but don’t overlook it as a viable and perhaps preferred password management option.

No longer a happy customer. This used to be a good app run by smart people. Can’t say that is the case anymore. Customer support will take you in circles. While they claim they want to help, they are mostly clueless. They want you to do all the testing and trouble shooting for them. Their website is useless, just takes you in circles. I DON’T RECOMMEND, you will eventually end up as I did with a failed password reset and inaccessible account. The only way to prevent this is to turn on biometrics not only for use with the app but there is a hidden switch you have to know about to set that so you can get in after you logout permanently and have ‘forgotten’ (or they failed to take) your new password. But as it stands now, I will never have access to all my secure notes again, painstakingly built up over the last 7 years or so. Not everyone has the option to share their data with someone else. I knew something was wrong ever since they were bought by another outfit and changed their logo. I will not be recommending this product to anyone and I will be warning them about the terrible fake customer support.

Wouldn’t be without it. Very easy to use. I remember when you used the same login name and password repetedly and I thoght “all is well”. In this version you find that dashlane will let you know to change repeted passwords or login names. They tell you if your password has been involved in a breach and take you to the website to change it right away. Now the smartest thing to do is to have separate login id’s and passwords. There is no possible way for me to remember them, so Dashlane to the rescue. It can automatically log me in or I can look up my creditentials by going to the store/company/institution name in my search and it shows me both my login and password. I like to add things in notes about other things besides my password, such as the date my subscription will auto-renew so I can cancel on-time or when my special offer for the sattelite service expires so I don’t have a surprise bill, if the customer service representative gave me any additional information I have it recorded there. I can also share my passwords with my husband, so if I’m not around he doesn’t have to panic to pay bills. I guess my only issue is I used to be able to have 3years for the price one year is now and they don’t offer a family deal if your family is two people, where it would be more economic if you had a larger family. I feel I should have been grandfathered in since I was with them at the start and have been loyal to their product.

Great program!. You MUST use a password program so that each place you use a password has a different one! Trying to keep up with hundreds of passwords any other way is a terrible idea in terms of security & convenience. Since you must use a program, I highly recommend Dashlane! It makes it so easy. It integrates with your computer, phone & tablet and ensures you always have easy access to all those passwords but keeps them out of the hands of the bad guys. It generates passwords for you (you specify the parameters), and tells you when they need to be changed. It can even change a lot of them at one time for you with a click. I hope they stay in business forever, cause I plan to use it forever. PS - I swear that this is an unpaid unsolicited review, though they can pay me if they want, LOL. Oh, I was even able to get my husband to use it! He likes it too. He'd use one password for everything without Dashlane!

Great password manager. UPDATE: thank you for adding the large text display on tap feature! First of all, if you’re not using a password manager, you should be. Dashlane is easily my favorite - the password storage features and supporting inline tools (like password generator) are powerful yet easy to use. Integration with iOS is well done (occasionally Dashlane can’t automatically find credentials for certain apps - looking at you Citibank - but I think this is on the app developer, not Dashlane). Another great feature is payment storage and autofill (although there’s no mobile web implementation on iOS, which is a nuisance). Also get a lot of use out of the secure note and ID vault features. Great for things like storing vital info on your kids that you often need but don’t remember, like SSNs and blood type. I use OnePassword for work and hate it - it’s unintuitive and clunky - although it has enterprise level features that Dashlane lacks, like a shared vault.

Dashlane NOT User Friendly. I used the free version for a few months and could not get autofill or password changer to work. Now about 6 months into premium subscription and seriously thinking about bailing. Using iPhone XR with 12.3 of course. Before XR I had iPhone 6 also with version 12. Every time I seek Dashlane support for instructions, help, etc. the only thing available is email and chat. No phone support. How can I get support when I’m not sure what questions to ask. Just a couple of days ago and on chat I had problems communicating my problems and they went unanswered. Try reading App Store reviews but instead of their settings change to most critical reviews. There are page after page of 1 star reviews. People having troubles with password generator, losing all passwords when downloading Dashlane, all kinds of problems. Dashlane response is please send a support complaint so that we may assist you with that. After reading over a dozen of those please send a support complaint from Dashlane I was wishing that Dashlane would just answer support questions online so I could get their assistance fixing my problems.

Deleting entire databases randomly? Why?. Cue the “This is the first time I’ve ever written a review for an app”. I have been using Dashlane on both my phone and computer since 2013 and was very happy with it up until this year, It’s conflicting that after using the platform for so long that I would find myself staring at an empty database after being prompted to log in. Lost every single one of my passwords, backup codes, 2FA keys and notes. It’s beyond disheartening as someone who is very computer literate and understanding that there are always bugs with software, but for something this destructive to be put out for public use does not sit well with me. I kept testing this for months and it still hasn’t been fixed, I guess updating the interface was more important than that? Also be aware if you want to move to another platform like 1Password or Keepass the file you export is going to be broken and you’ll have to fix it manually. I researched how long that had been an issue and apparently it’s been going on for months as well with no transparency on Dashlane’s part. At the very least I’d want clarity on what this issue is since my phones data was also wiped. Yes, I hear you. People should make backups (please for the love of god make backups, people) which I have, it does not excuse the failure on the company’s part for making sure something like this doesn’t happen to their customers.

Dashlane is Password Manager available — currently. I check periodically, and I continue to find Dashlane is the number one or number two password manager in different comparisons. But, when I consider the functions and features, the kind of rapid customer support I receive, and the cost—I use the Premium Family plan, giving me up to six licensed users—there is simply no comparison. Given the number of major hacks annually, and how often those user credentials end up for sale on the Dark Web, the days of keeping your passwords manageable—easily managed, all the same across web sites, have them easy to remember, and/or writing them on sticky notes or a notebook “hidden” near your computer—should be long behind you. Dashlane makes it so easy to keep you passwords unique for every site, and meeting all complexity requirements. They can be sync’d across all devices, logged in using biometrics, and randomly generated using Dashlane. In many websites, they can be automatically entered by the app/extension, without little or no interaction on your part. Especially on the iPhones using FaceID, I don’t have to do anything but look at my phone—amazing!! And sharing them with friends and family couldn’t be easier. I can recommend them highly enough. Best product available for several years now—nothing would make be changed.

It’s a good app, does a lot of things well.. The basic task of generating and storing passwords works perfectly. But the app itself needs a little bit of handholding. It remembers the website url all the way to the end, which usually doesn’t work out well in the long run. Webpage providers keep their domain name pretty constant, but the details of lower level pages change frequently and when this happens Dashlane can’t login. So you have to edit the stored website in Dashlane back to the upper level domain where you’re always guaranteed to get a login screen. The other thing that’s happening recently is that more modern websites are blocking apps that try to auto fill, so you have to copy and paste the password in or in some cases you have to actually type it; you cannot paste. In these cases the huge complex passwords that are auto generated are counterproductive because you can never remember them. Still I’m glad I have the app I use it every day.

Great app, with some room for improvement. Terrific app. Terrific interface and very intuitive. Works extremely well on the Mac, although I seem to have more success with Google Chrome than Safari. It would be great if more app developers would integrate Dashlane into their apps, so that you wouldn't have to open an app, then open Dashlane, then copy a password, and paste a password into the app.. A few years ago, I used 1Password but found Dashlane to be less buggy and more intuitive with a superior user experience! One of the few issues occurs when generating a new password. Websites or apps frequently require a password to have a combination of numbers, letters, and certain symbols (e.g., @*$(),;”), but Dashlane doesn’t offer any way to limit the allowable symbols. So unfortunately, I often have to go in and manually adjust the generated password to ensure compliance with a site’s/app’s requirements, and/or I have to generate passwords multiple times in order to get one that is acceptable. This defeats the purpose of quickly creating a unique, random password. The free VPN and Vault (for storing credit card and other personal information) are also very nice features.

Dashlane...yes and no. There are times when I think it's great and then not so great. Times it will not login to a sight that previously it was working fine. Something changes and I cannot figure it out. I'll be able to login from the browser but not through Dashlane. Times like that cause to want to cancel or certainly not sign on another year. Frustrating, to put it in a word. Part 2 of this review. Once again this product (Dashlane) on my iPad,really angers me. I cannot encourage anyone to load this application. Trying to make a payment online to my Sam's club account just will not work through dashlane. When checking the login information, I find it all is correct. However I can only accomplish a successful login going out to a browser, safari, Firefox, you name it only then can login occur as it should in (Dashlane) which is where all passwords are to be stored and easily accessible by me with a private password intended to get into (Dashlane). This is just one example of many. If this is not intended to work on a tablet iPad etc. then say so and quit wasting my time and at the same time raising my BP. You never know when it will work, from one account to another. Just not worth it....

Best decision I ever made. Been a premium user since 2015 and I cannot understate how much this service has helped me in terms of time savings, security, and peace of mind. Being able to have my passwords secure, complicated, and easy to access is really allowed me too keep pace with security demands without having to remember hundreds of complex passwords. The auto fill feature is also a huge timesaver. It is a major asset at work, not having to keep track of passwords for thousands of web portals, or not having to remember login information for a website I last used 5 years ago. The only thing I wish they would change (and this is a major nitpick) is that I wish I could blacklist the auto fill on certain websites instead of having to either have it on all the time or whitelist all the websites I want it used on. There are literally one or two website I don’t want it used on, and turning the service off and on again during use is kinda annoying.

a good app if you are willing to work around its shortcomings.. in the passwords vault, you only have the option to use one of the websites that dashline suggests. you can just choose one and then go on the the edit screen and change the title to whatever you want. but then the only fields you are able to attach is the title, the website url, the password, and an email... as if that is the only information i will ever need to enter into a password manager. other PMs i have tried have had custom fields you can add in to a password. There is also a notes section for each password so you can bunch any additional stuff you need down there i suppose. i didnt think there was any folders or categories until i saved the entry and went back to edit it. you can choose from a few suggested categories, or make your own. you can then group your passwords by the category names. a folder system would be much better in my opinion but at least there is some kind of way to organize things. for me this app didnt have any of the specific features i wanted but there was workarounds for each one so its not all bad.

Platform Inconsistency. The problem isn’t so much the app itself, but inconsistency across the platform. The iOS app does not offer the same features as the Mac app, which itself does not offer the same features as the web app. For example, you can only setup two factor authenticated logins on the iOS app. The feature is not available on the Mac or web. What this means is that your logins appear differently depending on the platform you are using, and if you have any two factor authentication logins you cannot use the auto-login feature, plus you would need to access two platforms, Mac and iOS, just to login! Because of this kind of inconsistency, it is not worth the hassle just to get auto password changing feature. Also, you can’t just arbitrarily set anything you want as the master password. You have to formulate a password based on Dashlane’s pre-established criteria. The passwords I use (Diceware) are stronger than their requirements, but since they are not compatible I cannot use them. Because of this, I’m sticking with 1Password, which feels like a much more mature program.

On Year 2+ and still is still 🔥. After going through 3 other pass apps, I would say Dashlane is by far the most feature rich packed app that continues to improve and enhance based on real genuine end user feedback! Their support and timely responses are six stars! There’s just no comparison… Dashlane is leading the charge IMHO! I upgraded to the family plan last year just to switch my 72 year old mother over, so she would stop handwriting them in her “book” 😀 Stability is fantastic! Security is solid and seems they’ve continued to keep it as first priority to them, as it should be! The UI is super easy to use! It hasn’t always been this good, but like I say they just continue releasing fantastic features and enhancements. Now I can only speak on Apple based devices, but the IOS, IPadOS, and the native MacOS Apps are all phenomenal, including the new integrated 2FA and Autofill. This is the reason they have a 72k 4.8 star rating as of the time of this review! Great product with great support!

Perfect Solution. I’ve been a happy paying customer for three years now. Dashlane works reliably across all my devices, it’s omnipresent but not annoyingly ‘in the way’ of browsing, and I can always depend on it. I have to say, though; I’m not excited about the move to the web app. I liked having a desktop app. However, I’ll probably get used to it.

Can’t live without Dashlane!. Seriously don’t know why it took me so long to set up a password manager. These days with scams and data hacking at every corner it just makes sense. Dashlane was super easy to set up and makes life so much easier. I have over 150 unique and strong passwords that I never have to remember. Feels great! The only improvement needed would be that sometimes Dashlane doesn’t recognise a password field, but that’s not enough for me to even take off 1 star. Do it, what are you waiting for?!

Is a perfect solution to password management.. The ability to use on multiple devices with differing OS makes it possible to utilise a different strong password for every website. I was very surprised by the number of logins I use after gathering them into this app. I feel very comfortable with the security system described. This is easy to use, more productive, no longer trying to remember login details, and more secure.

Used to love it. Got locked out for reasons Unknown. Don’t like the function that I require a Master password every 2 weeks, even though I have very secure anti virus software. I have face recognition activated on my iPhone yet it still required a master password. I stuffed that up. I am no locked out. They have my email and mobile details. So t understand why I have to reset whole database to reset master password. Even banks are not that hard/ secure. I now have to re-input all Passwords. It took me more than a full day to Input them all the first time. If I have to do that would prefer a different APP.

Gone downhill. Used to be a solid five stars. Now I am being generous giving it three stars. I have used Dashlane premium for many years and used to be extremely happy with them. Even though they were on the expensive side, I didn’t mind paying. But now I’m not happy. They have taken away the desktop app but not all the features are available in the web version if for example I want to add an attachment from my laptop, this is an a longer possible. Plus now if there is no Internet you no longer have access to your account. I store my passport details as well as many other things in Dashlane that I may want access to even if I do not need the Internet. Also they’ve instituted a “character limit” on secure notes, which is which is minor but annoying. It is now messy and annoying to find whether features are no longer available or only available in the app or what. When I have contacted support over the last several months, they say “we are working on it” I feel that they should have “worked on it” and made sure everything transferred over BEFORE forcing the desktop app to stop working. I am sad about it but I am now looking for an alternative password manager.

Excellent Password Manager. I’ve used Dashlane for about a year now to manage my passwords, it’s an extremely well made and useful app. I use it on my computer, iPhone and iPad and it works seamlessly. I also share it with my partner and we can easily share passwords with each other and create groups where we both have access to the passwords. If you need a password manager, Dashlane is an excellent choice.

I have a different and very strong password for everything. We can no longer rely upon websites to let us know that a website that has our private data has been hacked. Only unique passwords can reduce the impact of such a security breach. I never did this because I could not remember them. But now I can and I do this on my desktop, laptop, tablet and phone with ease. AND THEY SYNCHRONISE! ** sign of relief **

A must have for us older citizens. I used to be able to remember up to 100 passwords but online security now requires changing passwords regularly. Not so easy to remember now. Dashlane does everything I need it to do and resides on all my devices. Now I only need to remember 1 password. The latest version is great. Still good in 2023 and always trying to improve security.

Peace of mind. It took me a while to bite the bullet and get Dashlane even though I knew password protection was really important I bumbled along with my makeshift password system. My friends all used Dashlane and kept nagging me and so I got it and set it up - it was so easy I don’t know why I didn’t do it sooner! Then one of the banking providers I use got hacked by credential stuffing and I was so glad I had Dashlane - I didn’t have the same password for anything and want hacked. Do yourself a favour and give it a try - there will come a day you’ll be glad you did

10/10 app for keeping passwords. Been using Dashlane for years now. Started with the free version and had it for a while but ended up using it so much that I was actually happy to buy the premium version (to have passwords on more devices). Genuinely great app and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have their passwords easy to access, secure and able to be accessed on multiple devices. Big life saver

One Password to Rile them All.. Why haven’t I acquired a Pass Word Manager until now!! Endless list of accounts and subscriptions and services all requiring a password. If you took a modicum of care they’re all different and have some complexity. Too many to remember. So stored in some ancillary device. With likely sloppy or loose security. Never available at the right time on the right portal or machine. Problem solved. Dashlane works a treat for me, anywhere anytime, always up to date.

Irritating flaw. When trying to scan my email account - to sign in I have to open my google app to complete the 2 step verification, this app cycles back to the email sign in and I have to do the two step again - so it keeps going round and round and I cannot sign in - because every time click my notification to open google app to complete verification this app goes back to the start - so it keeps going round and round and I cannot sign in because I open the two step and this app goes back to the start - round and round and round. Small oversight - very irritating.

Life. Saver.. Nowadays we have heaps of things that need passwords and I have found this app to be my hero. I use it across my phone and laptop, with the auto fill it is seamless and easy to log into anything and with the ease of having a remember my log in for the app for 14 days I don’t have to worry about accidentally leaving my passwords open. I don’t think I will ever have to hit “forgot my password” ever again because I will be using this app forever! Another great addition is the ability to use generated passwords that you can tailor suit whatever the password needs to have, oh and face ID unlocking for iPhone! Honesty give it a try and see if this works for you! Great work Dashlane

Premium isn’t premium. Have used Dashlane for 12 months now. I paid $US40 for a years access and only this week did I discover that part of what I paid for was password synchronisation across my devices. This feature has NEVER worked. Passwords I enter on my computer rarely sync between my devices. An account I open on my computer is rarely available on my phone unless I enter the details manually. It is such an issue I hadn’t even realised passwords were sposed to be available on different devices. Not worth the hassle at this price without a fix.

nearly perfect. great app. have been a subscriber for 2+ years. things to improve: 1. no automatic pop-up on mobile app when copying password from password generator (to prompt user to immediately save the password in the Vault) 2. changing of master email is disallowed, and process to do so is inconvenient and (in my opinion) unnecessary 3. no ability to pause autofill on sub-domains on a website (for certain pages on a website domain, for example) 4. no ability to deactivate automatic autofill on mobile app (sometimes i've been stuck with dashlane autofilling on mobile and kept looping when i wanted to manually enter) things i like: 1. seamless integration into digital life, and across platforms and devices 2. cheap yearly subscription (~55 AUD) 3. excellent random passwords, with thorough customisation in length and what characters to omit/include (although the limit on length should be increased to 64) 4. secure notes are an excellent additional functionality

Great app but needs a bit of work. I love using Dashlane, it is a great way to store my passwords since I have so many. The only things I would recommend to fix is updating the website images in Dashlane since some of the logos have been updated on the original websites. I would also like if we could type notes in each password tab and I wish the app could save your passwords on the websites automatically instead of having to reset them and change them ourselves. :)

I’m in Heaven!. I’ve had Dashlane for about 4 years now - and I LOVE it! Life is more simple, I can change passwords simply and frequently for safety. And can view them at anytime. Also storing important ID info is simple and secure. I love the ability to grant someone else access after a period of time should that be necessary and that there is a password history available too. Just made life a little more simple in a crazy world. Autofil has been tremendously helpful too. I can’t help but laugh when friends get frustrated forgetting their passwords after I’ve told them SO many times to get into Dashlane. Oh well - no helping some people, I guess. Heed the suggestions - and get it for yourself (not sponsored, promise).

Great password manager. Excellent password manager. Premium is pricey compared to the competition, but I prefer the interface and way of doing business to the alternatives (and I’ve tried most). Still doesn’t deal with websites that use a password and then want PIN numbers or one-time codes as two-factor authentication - Dashlane will keep asking if you want to replace the password with the pin/code, but that’s about the only whinge I have with the current app.

Great App. This app is great, as it goes beyond just password management, it takes control of passwords keeping them safe, and automatically logging you into secure sites without having to type usernames or passwords! It’s functions are getting better and better with each update. I have noticed some initial password setup issues, but once you get past the initial setup and lock ur password in, you set to go. Great app well worth the cost!

Dashlane iPad log in issues sorted 😊. Managed to sort out master password issue. Always have a backup of your old master password and should you need to change it use the web app. Don’t think the iOS/iPad apps nowadays like the “show 👁️password” in field box enabled when logging in and maybe that was what was causing the problem all along not “recognising” master password?

Secure!. This app makes having secure passwords so easy. You only need remember one password: to get into Dashlane. Then every other password can be as secure as you want. Easy to set up, easy to change passwords, links across all your devices. Also allows you to store personal information (IDs etc) so you can rest easy that you have done your best effort to keep yourself safe. Not tied to an operating system or browser like apple passwords, or google. Thorough recommend

A Great and very necessary Service. Dashlane has really changed the game for me - as someone who manages the online content for various companies social media and websites, it has been necessary to find a solutions to manage the hundreds of passwords in a secure fashion. The ability to share passwords with my colleagues with compromising the security of the account has been the my favourite feature of Dashlane, but I also really appreciate being able so house my VPN service, Password saving and store cards across numerous devices with out having multiple apps to juggle. I also really appreciate how simple Dashlane is to use for many of my less technology literate employees. In short Dashlane has made my work life easier, and I highly recommend this service for anyone who works online

Ease of use.. So I work in IT and public facing and I always after the year or so of use I have got out of the app, recommend this to customer. password management done manually is like licking a live electrical socket it seems like a good idea then you have to remember 20 thousand passwords. And your life is upside down. This is easy and and I can log in anywhere. Thank you for make life easy.

Awesome program. With over 100 accounts I'd never be able to remember all the passwords. Dashlane even lets me store other relevant information such as PIN numbers, backup codes, notations or explanations. Works across all my devices. A bit of a pain to use with Edge & Firefox but Chrome, and iOS work fine. Firefox did work but stopped when Firefox updated. This product is working well for me.

Good but not perfect. Good but at this price point I would have hoped for better. For example if you are storing card details you can’t take a picture of the card. In some cases there are insufficient fields to enter all the data. If you unlock the app with face Id it will then prompt further id every time you unmask passwords which seems unnecessary & clunky On the plus side it syncs well with multiple devices. I’m hoping at some stage the apple watch app will gain more functionality

Best Password Manager App. I was the kind of person that would either have the same password for everything or have different passwords for different accounts but would have to reset my password every time I went to log cause I couldn’t remember my the password I had made truely aggravating but every since I found Dashlane all that has changed remembering my login details is one stressful thing I don’t. Need to worry about anymore

The best app. I have been using this app for more than 5 years now, and it has been amazing in managing all my passwords secure Notes bank details and many more. This app doesn’t only securely manage all my logins, secure notes, payment details across devices but also helps me tap into reused passwords, old passwords and help me change them whenever required. This is the best app ever and I have used many other apps in the past and none of them offered all-round functionality like Dashlane. I will highly recommend this app.

Needs an iPad client. a good password manager once you sort out the details, it can be confusing when you converge all the existing saved vesions in various browsers (conflict on which version of your password is actually saved - sometimes you end up multiple version for the same site). It needs an iPad ap to make it complete.

Good, but... A solid password management app. I subscribed to Dashlane after migrating away from Lastpass, and because I really wanted it to be great. But sadly, my general experience has been mixed. Dashlane does what it says on the box; it’s a solid password manager and will fulfil all the basic requires a password manager should. What has really put me off however, has been the negative interface experience on iOS, and also with the Edge plugin for PC. Copy/pasting passwords is harder than it should be. There is no right click contextual options from Edge as can be found in Lastpass. On iOS, a number of interface complications also occur (too complex to explain). Nothing fatal, but for an app who’s goal is to make quality of life improvements, these annoyances are a big negative. All in all, I’ve decided to return to Lastpass as its simply the ‘less annoying’ of two less then perfect products.

Moved from LastPass and very happy. I’ve been a paying LastPass user for nearly ten years but recently, last 6 months, there has been ongoing log in and access issues that led me to seek an alternative and backup password manager. Am very happy with Dashlane on iPhone iPad, Mac and Windows. Is now my primary daily driver password manager on these platforms. Importing my info from LastPass was easy using the Dashlane tool. Have now switched to recommending Dashlane to friends family colleagues as the password manager of choice.

Helpful but frustrating. I have a love-frustrated relationship with this app. Used it fir years and recommended it a lot… but some clunky and not well thought aspects (eg- need to log in twice to use now… once online and then in app; the “this website” button should auto fill the website, but does not unless (again) you also log into the app; the sharing centre does not work seamlessly for either sharing large numbers if passwords or finding them) Overall I question why they shifted to become an online service (used to be app only) as product is now less useful and is always harder to use. (Only assumption is that it’s economically better for Dashlane rather than the user experience)

Extremely Helpful. For the past 2 years I have been using Dashlane and all I have to say is it is insanely helpful. It is by far the best password manager out there and I’ve tried them all. Totally worth every cent! It is very automated and once you have all your passwords saved on Dashlane you do not have to every worry about your forgotten passwords again. Very secure and highly recommended! Never had a compromise on any of my accounts and it has generated very secure passwords for every account which I never have to actually remember as it does it all for me. - A very, very happy customer!

Keeping your secrets secure. Dashlane lives up to its promise, including both passwords and hiding behind the VPN. Two things though: - categories are great, but should be richer (as in banking, shares, work, etc), and it would be useful to be able to filter by them. - the VPN was tricky to set up: some countries don’t allow connection to certain websites, so you have to connect to US regardless of where you are. Would love to see a mechanism to suggest new features.

Super Product. I have been using this product for approximately 9 months now and have only good things to say about it. It provides seamless access and the management tools to keep my 200+ site access details up to date and allows me to work online by requiring only one UserID and password to access all of these sites. Also, Dashlane provides excellent value for a small monthly payment. I highly recommend this software.

Dashlane v Lastpass. I have been using Lastpass for a number of years but have been put off by their history of being hacked. I am now trialling Dashlane (Advanced) and like it a lot. The one thing I like is when you open a webpage DL gives you options based on the Name of the password and not just the User ID like LP does. With a number of logins for one site this makes DL a big winner for me. On the negative side DL does not have the depth of LP login info eg where there may be multiple layers to log-in eg U/N, P/W and surname. I also found that DL requires just the bare details of Passport info. LP allows you to add attachments (eg photo of Passport) to back-up your Passport info. It appears you can only add attachments when completing a Secure Note. It would be great to be able to add an attachment for Personal ID options as well (eg driver’s licence and passport). Overall I am tending toward keeping DL and unsubscribing from LP for the security alone.

Very useful: one extra feature needed. I particularly like the features of password health and alerts from compromised data from the dark web. But. I’m writing this on my iPad having opened up Dashlane for the purpose of generating a new account with a unique password for a forum that I want to join. The process is completely manual: I have to 1. create a new account in Dashlane, 2. generate a password, 3. copy it to the clipboard, 4. navigate back to the new account screen in the forum, 5. paste the password into the initial and verify password boxes This is what I would *like* to happen for this fairly frequent use case. 1. A Dashlane icon appears in the new password box. 2. I tap on the icon, tap on a generate password option 3. Dashlane offers to save this new account when I log in

Fantastic App but.... This app solved a very big problem for me with my passwords. I used to have seperate passwords for certain categories of websites but there were still a lot of repeated passwords. Dashlane makes strong passwords easier than remembering passwords outright. However, one bug that I have ran into for awhile now is there seems to be a desync between the Dashlane app and the “Password Selection” screen when you use the “Password” button on your keyboard when entering your credentials. I will use the “Password button” to select the website credentials to be be presented with a “invalid credentials” error. But if I directly navigate to the app and copy the password manually from the app onto the website, the credentials work fine. Not sure what the issue is there but it’s super annoying.

Great software. Once set up is a breeze I found setting up on the pc was a great start. I generally use a desktop for purchasers and with password me already saved on the desktop Dashlane found them easily. I as able to spend the time to change my passwords and once set up it’s easy to log back in. Much safer than relying on a web browser or having the same passwords waiting to be cracked. Internet banking is still cluncky however the banks have three way password protection anyway.

Master Password. The lack of reminders to warn you when changing a master password to write it down and keep it safe somewhere, at least for the first month is a problem. I learnt the hard way, forgot it and had to rebuild my whole list of passwords from scratch. Thanks to things like Touch and Face ID, you don’t realise the danger till that fortnight is up and Dashlane asks you to re-enter master password. This is the “Oh no!” moment.

Concordently Vis a Vis. It appears I have two lives. One where I forget my passwords, others know them, inconvenience and I help my landlady take out her gar-bage. The other I have purchased the full version of dashlane, am free and no longer trapped in a digital password prison. A prison...for your mind. One of these lives has a future. The other does not. My colleagues think I am wasting my time writing this review, but I believe you want to do the right thing. Open your mind. The Dashlane is real.

Mr. Vinh Tran. Best password protection software I have ever come across. Never have to worry about remembering too many passwords ever again! Not only that! There are other features that allows you to safe-guard your important details that you fear if written down some where you risk exposing this critical information and if you don’t write it down you fear that you will forget! With this software you can save this note and have peace of mind. Magical!!! Thank you.

Simplifying and improving my online security. I started using a number of free trials and Dashlane was the simplest to use that seemed to be secure. The paid subscription has made everything available to sync across my devices. But getting all passwords into one location hasn’t been without its issues. Some others were seemingly more secure and offered great family functionality but were a nightmare to use, having to enter passwords every time you looked or touched something. Dashlane seems to be a nice balance.

0 stars. Dashlane is a terrible program. It continually mixes my passwords with the wrong websites. I have gone back to the manual way of writing them down. The program doesn’t work on my iPad or iPhone despite paying for the premium product. I have not once seen my passwords synced to my iPad or iPhone which is probably a good thing given that they would be the wrong passwords anyway. I was patient with this app thinking that it may be my lack of knowledge with it that created these problems. The more I used the app the more problems I found with it. After contacting customer service they told me I was just a few days outside of the 30 day money back period and they would not give me a refund. Biggest waste of money .

A ‘must-have’ tool. I’ve been using Dashlane on my PC since it was first released. It can manage logins for the same site (say, Google or Dropbox), making it easy to choose which login you want. It can also sync passwords so they are available across multiple devices. Changing or updating passwords is a snack, making it easier to create stronger passwords. It’s convenient and very easy to use. It does help increase the standard of your passwords and, hence, security. I could NOT do without it.

Great password manager. I use this for all my passwords now, and payment cards. It’s so easy to create new accounts with strong passwords, and I am slowly going back and changing all my existing passwords to loooong random be super secure. Also the alerts when my details are found on the dark web is really handy so I know which passwords to change when a website is compromised. I totally rate this app!

What did I do before Dashlane?. What a great tool for removing the stress of passwords from my life. Making sure you come up with sophisticated enough password and then remembering it. Donate some time to configuring Dashlane and then the nightmare, which is passwords and online security, fades into the background of your life. All your passwords, credit cards, bank accounts and other personal information is securely at your fingertips. Love it!

Categories - What happened?!?. We need categories and ability to delete old categories back in the Dashlane app and website service. I originally used categories because some are for personal, work, home, business, etc. But now I can’t sort and filter by category anymore because it’s not accurate if I can’t add/remove categories. I can’t tell which ones are for business or home etc, so I can keep my accounts in check and remove/cancel old ones with those websites.

Almost great. I moved from Lastpass to Dashlane about 6 months ago and overall pleased with that decision though DL is pricey in comparison. Dashlane is generally better at URL recognition/auto sign in though it could be better if it allowed wildcards and field customisation. Also creating sites is sometimes buggy as it will often just duplicate a similar existing entry. The biggest let down I find is the sync option. When using multiple devices I often find it painful using a recently changed password because it hasn’t synced properly or perhaps in the wrong direction and overwriting any changes and then needing to change passwords again. Maybe just a nose ahead of Lastpass IMO, but still frustrating enough to wonder if its worth that premium.

Perfect if you're only using 1 device. Free version for a single device is amazing. I tried Lastpass, Encryptyr, The Mozilla Firefox one, a few other reputable ones, and they were all slow, clunky, awkward, missing basic features like manually entering passwords inside the app.. and just generally a poor experience. Dashlane is great across the board. But I will be going elsewhere if the "upgrade to premium" banner that takes up almost 25% of the screen isn't removed or changed. It's ridiculous. Edit: It's gone, and they gave more password storage and other stuff to free tier users. GOATed for sure!

Incredibly simple to use, phenomenally well equipped with tools. I have been using this for twelve months. This truly has made a great difference to both my methods of password selection and my attitudes towards personal data security all round. I am very happy that I paid for the premium product as I feel the features it provides and the level of security afforded are indispensable to me. I am also very grateful for the emails They send, advising of current security threats that exist in the wider world and steps I can take to avoid them.

Dashlane works great. Works great

I love Dashlane. It’s so easy to use. I highly recommend it!

Love it. Love it. Solve my problem

Satisfait. Ok ça va très bien

Great tool to save password. This app is especially useful if you use several devices that need access to your passwords. The premium version auto updates your passwords on your other devises. Works on Mac and Windoze

Used to love it… until now!. It’s been years that I’m using this app (iOS and OS) and always found it wonderful, until recently when they decided to cancel the computer desk app to go on the web app. Not that bad you’ll say, but if you can’t install Big Sur on your computer… you just can’t use it. Extremely annoying… I don’t see the point in keeping my subscription anymore…

Excellent service and program. I have been using Dashlane to keep track of my passwords for years now and I am never going back to not using it. Its auto fill feature usually works great. Once in a while, the overlay window it creates can block a field but that’s relatively rare. One great feature are the secure note options. For edge-cases that Dashlane may not support, it’s nice to be able to just have a text file with the username and password written down, but still have that secured. The ability to save credit card information is also very nice.

Very happy with Dashlane. If the subject line doesn't say it will my comments convince you, it works fast and accurately.

Dashlane. Super application

Getting nervous. I am growing uncertain as to whether the cost is worth the use of Dashlane? I am getting multiple options on any given log in page I go to and find it confusing to know which one to chose? As there is a back registry of “previous “ passwords, why do I not get the latest, with options to check back if unable to log in with this “ lastest “ password?

I’m happy with it its a great app. Its not that complicated I like it

makes life easier. no stress remembering !

Excellent!!!. Very secure. I have been using the app for 5 years now with no issues. Easy to use and keeps my passwords strong and easily accessible. Thank you Dashland!!

Good. Sometimes have trouble with dashlane passwords that it generates.

Impressionnant.

Works but not as good as it was before. The app has been changed, and not for the better, in my opinion. We have many issues and when I bring them to their attention they just tell me this is a new app and there should be no problems anymore. I have over 150 passwords each with 12 characters and the work to change move them to another software is very time consuming. Some day I will just cut and paste into excel and start with another software tool, but until then this is what I am stuck with. Think about which software you select because it’s lots of work to change. Note: in the software they allow you to save a 5 star review or list a complaint, they don’t allow 4 or lower star reviews to be posted. Apple should review this practice.

Dashlane. Works great.

Changing login name. I love this app. Finally I have all my login credentials under one ”roof” and they are secure. I can access them anywhere and everywhere. One downsize though, I change my surname and the and I am able to change my login id. Regardless, I do recommend this app to anyone who is struggling with the organizing or remembering all the login ids and passwords.

Best password saver. Simple and easy to use, I recommend this to everybody

Très pratique. Je l’utilise tous les jours sur mes différents appareils

Très satisfait. Bravo

Good. -er

Awesome. Having a secure place to keep my PW’s is great. I’ve seen some YouTube videos on phone’s getting stolen and the bad guys learning all about you and going to notes and find all your passwords. This is great.

Love this app. Very very helpful

Très bien. J’aime beaucoup, dispendieux

Fantastic product. This was the first password manager I used and its initial use (years ago) was not always plausible and easy. BUT what a great tool, I wouldn’t go without it now. With this tool I now manage some 200 complex passwords and manage a range of secure notes and personal documents. I use Dashlane on PCs, Smartphones and a Tablet - works flawless as so does the superbe “auto fill” functionality for passwords and personal information. Well worth the investment and the initial effort to get used to the application.

Very cool !. Just love it !! Just one thing , how can i change my email login ?

Great App!. Safe way to create and manage passwords

facile utilisation. application facile utilisation et je le recommande sans hésitation pour la gestion mots passes

Reliables and trusty. We used Dashlane for all the family over the last 5years and no other system matched the security and stability of this company

More trouble than its worth!. I purchased Dashlane premium from the Apple App Store and after a few days of trying to get it to work with my IPad and going back and forth by email with Dashlane so-called support I just gave up. Their support consists of referring you to the online instructions I had already read and tried. There is no telephone support available. It takes forever to add or change passwords and I can’t even get it to download on my iPhone 6, so what is the point? Requested a refund of the $55 plus tax I paid from Apple and was refused with no reason given other than a link to their terms etc. Very unhappy with the whole process, the app and Apple for refusing to refund my money!

Sync and Google PW Manager Issues. Dashlane does not always work predictably with Sync and Google Manager. I have it installed on multiple devices and occasionally one or more will interfere and use a previous password. This forces me to either update the password again, hoping re-synchronizing works. Can be very frustrating at times.

Formidable application.

Good. Worth every penny

Works very well - very pleased with - product & service. Saves me login time in FireFox Chrome & my iPhone ;)

Very Useful!. This app helps me a lot!

Excellent app!. Dashlane makes managing passwords soooo easy. Thank you.

Dashlane. It always works well for me. Cathy Reed

Simply the Best. Easy to use

Update blocked my password. After the recent update, the app doesn’t recognize my password anymore. I use Face ID and it won’t accept that either. Called customer support and they said they’ll escalate but they haven’t returned my call since last week. What good is this service if they can’t ensure the password feature on their app works! Very frustrating!

Very happy!. Everything you could ask for.

Love Dashlane. Depend on Dashlane on all my devices

Super. Super

Best on the market. Been using Dashlane for years now with my wife and other family members also in the platform. It’s been a game changer and I’m no longer needing to communicate shared passwords when asked for things like streaming services etc. Storing payment details is awesome if you shop online or forget a wallet at home. Great app. Highly recommend!

Godsend. I am terrible at remembering passwords so thank you for helping me stay organized!

Passwords. Great job, keeps my passwords safe! Thank you!

Be CAREFUL!!. Update: One of the most frustrating, terrible, and even horrifying experiences. My work requires multiple passwords. My work email’s password changed and I don’t yet have it memorized. I eventually was able to solve the glitch myself. WARNING: Dashlane may not let you access your passwords on an Apple computer running El Capitan! It will not even acknowledge your login email! If you can’t access your email, then you can’t even verify yourself because that , itself, requires your email. Which you can no longer access. This went on for a whole week before I solved it myself. Their customer service? Please don’t expect anything outside frustrating automation. Seriously, don’t expect any actual help. If you can’t figure it out by yourself, be prepared to lose every single password you’ve saved, because that’s the only way you’ll be able to reactivate your account, albeit an empty one. And when your livelihood relies on this, that can be horrifying. Good luck. Original post: Be careful! My password suddenly stopped working within 40min of using it for no reason at all. I have reached out and been told I can reset my password, but that ALL of my info will be lost. ALL OF IT. I have spent days trying to resolve this issue. If by some miracle it does, I will update here. Please be careful. This is your personal info, and if lost it can absolutely disrupt your life. For example, ALL of my business accounts are no longer accessible because of this.

LOVE IT, but…. I really do love this app. I, like many people I know, was guilty of reusing the same passwords or some variations of them. Now I use the Password Generator to create killer passwords that I DON’T HAVE TO MEMORIZE. Now here’s the “but”. The last year or two have brought many changes to Dashlane. I’ll be the first to admit that I haven’t spent a lot of time studying and learning about those new features. It seems like the times when I need that information are those times when my dance card is just too full to do the learning. It used to be pretty intuitive, and even an old guy like me could figure it out. Not so much any more. The answer? I’ll budget some time towards that goal. Really … It’ll be well worth it. I’m a pretty brand-loyal guy, and even through the occasional frustrations, I’ll continue to highly recommend this brilliant piece of software.

Game changer. Thought I had a good password system to track and manage… truthfully, it was archaic and pretty dangerous. Lol. This is where i think most of us are when it comes to passwords, especially as the complexity requirements are changing to keep our data more secure. I was put onto Dashlane by my C.O.O.; a masterful wizard of data and operations. He swore by this app and said it literally changed his life. I’ve been in love since the first day i started using it. Honestly, i was hesitant on the password generator. But, as i experienced the program, across multiple devices (iPhones, iPads, iMac, AND multiple PCs), i realized the password generator was much more efficient and safe than my silly revamped versions of the passwords that were probably easily hacked by a 9 year old hacker. If you are looking for a password manager/generator. This is the best there is. Give it a go and I’m willing to bet you’ll be a big fan too.

Could not live without it. I’ve been using Dashlane Premium for going on 3 years and it has been like having my own personal safe with me at all times. Every login and password I need (and even those I don’t) are secure and at my fingertips. No more writing things down and worrying someone will find them. It can create passwords that even I don’t know and store and save them to use for logging in to any site I visit. I have never had a breach or alert or the slightest issue with security with, or since using, Dashlane. I pay for the premium version and it’s worth every penny but the free version is equally secure. I highly recommend Dashlane if you have many passwords, shop or bank online, have trouble memorizing, or just change your logins and passwords often for added security. It is truly a lifesaver.

GREAT APP. I have used a few other password document programs, and none of them had the various abilities that this program has. I will also sign up for the top-level protection, as it includes checks in the "dark web"! My other programs that saved my passwords were not very great in keeping the current password in front. The other programs would offer 2-3 different password options. It kept old passwords when I changed my passwords. Dashlane provides the current password to each program and opens the program is opened up immediately. This is a great program and I cannot recommend it strongly enough. PS - I want to guarantee that I have not been compensated in any way including a free copy of the program to write this review, I just want others to use the best password protection program available!

Edited: Good But Not 5 Stars. The fact that it is so expensive and yet you cannot select the country of your vpn is infuriating. After a year I am going down to 3 stars. I realize they are primarily a security company, and that I bought premium before I knew it had a vpn... but it would be so easy for them to let us select the country!! Am keeping the service and you should get it but 3 stars is my small insignificant way of sending a message. Old Review: I purchased Dashlane as a recommendation from podcaster CGPGrey. I came into the service thinking it would provide more security than my old passwords based on a number and service titles/urls. However, I discovered a service that offered so much more. You can read the description to cover the basics, but the things I like are: 1. Fingerprint reader to replace master password on iphone/macbook 2. Two factor authentication optionally set to none, when using new device, or every login 3. VPN service (though it defaults to the nearest country which they need to change!) good on phone or computer 4. Great customer service by email (just had bad experience with another email service so I was impressed) 5. Browser extension that is good for most sites but is occasionally glitchy. Intuitive on computer, but need to press bottom button on iphone/ipad 6. Search through website security breaches to see if your emails/passwords were leaked

Five Stars Except For Price. Until I got started entering in some of my passwords, I didn’t realize just how many I actually had. After entering 45 or so, I then realized over half of them were the same password. It was the best method for remembering but the worst regarding security. I’m still entering the remaining 30 or 40 but I’ve slowed down a bit to discover some of the other features Dashlane has. I’ve now started letting Dashlane generate a few of the less important passwords just to give it a try. This feature is awesome. The passwords it generates are amazing. The down side is I won’t be able to remember them, I would have to write them all down and they are all different. I am enjoying my new found security. This has been an issue for me for years. There are to many great features for me to include in this review. Dashlane, lower the monthly subscription costs. That’s the only reason for 4 stars and not 5.

No Firefox Support. Please add support for Firefox! You support Safari and Chrome. I'll be using 1Password for now. Edit: the developer response says that it isn't possible to support Firefox at the moment, but other password management apps don't have an issue with it. I can use both 1Password and Bitwarden in Firefox without any problems. The developers are either disabling something on their end or they are just not willing enough to fix the issue. I'm an iOS developer as well, and while I haven't worked with Safari extensions, Firefox (and Chrome) are just wrappers around Safari (WebKit). I would imagine that support for web extensions is built in to WebKit since other extensions work without issue. So seems like Dashlane is doing something weird on their end to disable it. (or it's just a bug) Actually, if you Google "firefox ios webextensions" the first result you get back has an Addons section that states, "Firefox for iOS supports the native iOS extension ecosystem right now". So just laziness on Daslane's part to even research the issue? Easier to just throw a generic response my way?

Far better than 1 Password. I LOVE it! What a brilliant idea for a password manager to have the added feature of storing receipts (and it does so automatically when you shop online!) The browser extension works seamlessly. The interface is wonderfully simple & clean, but not so simple that important features are missing. I definitely stayed with 1 Password for too long. I bought 1 password premium for a 1 time fee when they were first getting started and didn’t have monthly memberships so my 1P app is actually free for me to use for life. But I haven’t seen an update that made any significant improvements in years, so I started shopping for a new pm. No, I don’t like $60 a year for Dashlane considering that my old PM app is free for me, but $60 a year is WAY worth it to avoid password headaches and password protection peace of mind. No complaints, this is the best PM by far!

Life saver for my mind!. This has been a lifesaver for me! I have been using this for years now. I don’t even know how many to be exact. Also, I had a stroke in 2018 then I had Covid for 42 days this year(2023). I quit breathing three times. Upon healing, I lost lots of memory hearing my smell is still not 100%. It threw my body into a worse frenzy than my stroke ever did and that’s no exaggeration!! Because of both these things and my constant busy, crazy, stressful life… You would think at retirement it wouldn’t be, but it sure is… I have had a hard time remembering passwords because I do pretty much everything online just like most other people. For me, it’s well worth it every time I go to use it for something!!!!! STILL USING IT!!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 2024 and still LOVING IT and thankful for it!!!🎉

Fantastic tool. I’ve been very satisfied customer of Dashlane for close to four years now, and I can’t imagine running my business without it at this point. Even though we’re a small enterprise, our staff is located both in the US as well as a few other countries abroad. This was the first (and likely only with how good this tool is) password mgmt platform we’ve used, and it allows us to operate with max efficiency and security while keeping our clients happy. Now the above is all well and good, however I was recently very impressed with the fact that their product development team reached out to me and scheduled a zoom meeting. They wanted to learn our thoughts on the product, and what we felt can make it better. That was what sealed the deal for me. I love this tool, but even more so I love companies that care about their customers. I highly recommend this tool!

Lots of Issues… But Still Worth It?. This app is easy to use (most of the time) and incredibly convenient (except when it turns against you). I have had many issues with updating info on the DashLane phone app, only to find that desktop DashLane app overwrote the data I put into the phone app and erased what I entered. This problem has not been resolved. DashLane suggested a very long list of convoluted steps to attempt to rectify this issue, including uninstalling, reinstalling, relinking accounts, etc. After that failed to remedy the problem I learned not to use the phone app for entering info. Many other nuances plague this app that occasionally require the phone app to be deleted and reinstalled. Use the app and you will find out. The DashLane desktop app was far superior in usability, clarity, and stability to either the phone app or browser app… as of late 2021 DashLane is terminating the desktop app. *facepalm*

Are use this multiple times a day… But still one problem they have not fixed. Update: they prompt you to rate them 5 stars on their app. If you want to rate anything lower, they direct you instead of writing a review to emailing them. So take that into account when you see all these gushing 5/5 star reviews… they are straight up asking for 5 star reviews, which is against FTC regulations. _________ Developer: PLEASE REMOVE THE “WIPE” TRANSITIONS. It slows down the UI. ————— I love the continual updates and stability, however there is still one aggravating issue the developers have not fixed: Whenever you unlock the app, a split screen transition occurs. It looks very fancy, but the transition takes a second. This completely unnecessary pause is rather annoying when you have to access the app 30-40 times per day. In the industry this is what we term “wasted movement,” and it adds up a lot Dear developers: please have the app load without any transitions. Thank you and keep up the wonderful app!

Amazing App!. I got this app a few months back thinking it would help with my online security a little, I was wrong Dashlane not only helped me make all of my passwords extremely secure and easy to manage it also made me feel a whole lot more secure about my online safety and take my cyber security more seriously. I was easily able to connect the app on my phone to my pc through the website and now all my passwords are automatically typed in on not only my phone but also my pc. Dashlane gave me a security score and when I first got the app it was extremely low, I used the same password for everything and the one password I was using was extremely easy to crack, now if you look at my score it’s the best it’s ever been and that’s thanks to Dashlane. If you take your online privacy or security seriously at all you should get Dashlane right now, I mean it’s free why not!

AWFUL!!!. The free version used to just OK. You could use it on more than one device, but you couldn't sync them....so you had to add each password on each device. THEN they all of a sudden, without warning, they decided you could ONLY use it on one device at a time....meaning you had to LOG OUT on one device to open it on another....AND there was a limit on the number of passwords you could have. I think it was 50 or some ridiculous low number. This was their way of trying to FORCE people to pay for premium...figuring we wouldn't have time to deal with all the sudden BS and just pay it. Ummm.....NO!! Using a different password manager now...one that lets you sync on as many devices as you want for FREE.....and there is no limit on entries. No need to hand over $60 to dashlane. After going through customer service with dashlane, they DID give me an extra 2 months of premium for free. That gave me time to shop around for another password manager. Too little, too late. I don't like their tactics....trying to force someone into paying. Buh-bye!

Dashlane gets it. Constantly updating, love it. Been user for awhile. Love Dashlane. Best PWM in my opinion. Simple interface, finally fixed the desktop and phone issues by going cloud based. Great encryption, great bundle of packages. Honestly, they not only listen to their consumers, you see the improvements and it seems they are always on top of breaches. As far as consumer grade protection for devices, Dashlane is great. I’m glad they have bundled a VPN as well finally. All that’s left is to partner with a great malware protection Company or spend the capital and build the best one out there. Take the market share! Wish list: I’d really like to see something where they are able to scan devices for vulnerabilities for malware. Like the NSO stuff. Something to just Notify if your device is compromised. but I’m sure that’s a few years in the works ;)

Couldn’t live without it. I highly recommend Dashlane. Basically your own personal data base of all of your passwords that works and syncs on all of your devices and integrates with Apple’s facial recognition to auto fill. Also helps you auto generate secure, long, crazy passwords. It’s pretty much become an important tool for my own functionality because security steps aren’t really an inconvenience anymore, so I can log into anything without reservation. Security/hackabikity is definitely a major concern people have with things like this, but what I heard from a supposed cybersecurity expert at a work event is that Dashlane is one of two password manager apps that are safe for reasons having to do with how the data is stored. I don’t know anything on the topic myself, but this app is definitely one of those things I couldn’t live without now that I’ve tried it.

Saved my professional life. Dash line has saved me numerous times. I need to keep several Apps and software products for various activities and I can't mentally keep tract of the strong passwords for all of the items up to date. I know that keeping a written record isn't an effective method, plus it looks complicated taking out your wallet to enter a password. DL keeps all of my passwords on the computer however, I’m not happy with the slow response of customer service when you only have email responses to issues, that never get resolved when you can’t access the computer to address the problem and as long as I keep them synced I don't have any problems no matter which computer I'm using at the time. I have six personal computers that I use daily, DL is my password 2nd brain, but frustration is the key to the relationship?

No More. I’ve used another password manager actually many others previously and I’ve had – line for over a year. I am thrilled with the features, the ease-of-use, and it’s integration between devices and browsers. No more little book with a written passwords. It saves it across devices. Only one password to remember which is the master password. The beauty of dash line is it will create complex passwords for websites and even prop to you when you’re signing into a website for the first time to create them and save password for that site. So many good things to say including the alerts when another company has a breach I’ve gotten notices from Dashlane before the company that had the breach. Tremendous value great app can’t say enough good things. HIGHLY recommend – line. Breathe easy. it’s remembered.

Almost Pretty Good. INTERFACE. The interface is awkward, but becomes reasonably easier to use once you’ve gotten used to it. LOGIN & PASSWORD. It’s fairly easy to “teach” Dashlane the login and password for each website you visit, and once you’ve done that, the software allows a great many nifty features. For example, it will count the number of times that you have used the exact same password for different websites. It will then alert you to the risks of using the same password for different websites, and will make it easy for you to change passwords on those websites so that they aren’t used on any more than one website at a time. Also, it has a good password generator, and if you go to a new website, it will offer to generate a good password for you to use at that website whenever you return to it, and then it will offer to save that password for you for the next time you go to that website.

I love Dashlane! A desktop app would be awesome. I was skeptical at first to using a password manager as like most others i got it because i can’t remember my passwords deposited using the same one I’ve had since i can remember. For its price it beats out its competitors I’ve looked at by far and i use the mobile and website versions of it. It has auto fill and works essentially flawlessly. One thing I’m hoping the devs are working on or are even considering would be a desktop application. Of course I’m not sure exactly how possible that is but i would love to open up an application on fresh install and sign into it using the Dashlane universal desktop app. For instance hotspot shield vpn is included with Dashlane premium for free. So having the desktop app ask to sign in with Dashlane would be amazing to see. Anyways i love the app and this is also the first review I’ve ever left on an app!

Save time with passwords great features. IMPRESSED. Dashlane is great. Have been using it for a little over a three years. Got the premium subscription. Home computer, iPhones and iPad all have the app installed. Sync between all devices is spot on. I love the "dashboard" feature that gives you a over all score of your passwords, history, over used passwords, and not so secure passwords. Then with dashlane you can change the weak ones and increase your protection and overall score. It a great feature. I also use the password generator feature for when ever I need to create, or change a password at work or for home. AND the secure/unsecured notes are also helpful to put important reminders, notes and such in- and then syncs with the other devices and you can add more notes when they come to mind. I am impressed.

Heavy, long-time user - here’s a bug to fix. I rely on this app heavily, have actually touted that there’s no way anyone can ever get a password from me, I simply don’t know them - any of them, ever. It’s awesome. However I have noticed a bug that needs repairing related to iOS integration. For most apps and browsers there are zero problems having Dashlane pop-up when necessary. There IS a problem related to TV apps, such as Fox, and others when authenticating the TV (in this case DirecTV) provider. The authentication page will show up, however there is no “Passwords” pop-up button. Like the olden-days, I have to exit the TV app, open and login to Dashlane, access and copy the password, then go back and login to the DirecTV authenticator. Other than that, I love it. Keep crushing these little things, your product is legit!

Beware of This Subscription!. Never pay the 1-year subscription via the Apple App Store. You give up all power to dispute anything. My journey began with downloading the app then paying the subscription through the App Store, $60 for a year. Big mistake. I mistakenly though my wife could use the same subscription but that is not the case. She would need to pay another $60. Seeing this, I cancelled the subscription through the App Store within a week of buying it and got another password manager. But this subscription is nearly impossible to end. I got confirmation of the subscription being cancelled. BUT my next monthly Apple bill still showed the charge. By this time, Dashlane’s 30 day refund period had expired. Here’s the crux of the problem. Apple will not stand up for you against a merchant unlike a credit card company. Repeated attempts to get this resolved were quickly rebuffed by Apple. In contrast, a credit card company would take your side. So, I’m out $60. Moral of the story: do not subscribe via the App Store as you give up virtually all dispute power.

I used it for free for two years before signing up for an annual plan. The app has had my back for a number of years from device to device and through multiple rounds of having to change EVERY password. When they decreased the number of passwords after a period of giving everyone free premium for a number of months, I realized HOW much I used it and HOW much it’s worth. $37 or so is not much compared to never having to forget a password. Dashlane makes it easy. Remember your Dashlane password. That’s about it. “But what if Dashlane gets hack?” As far as I know, they store absolutely NOTHING that could be used maliciously on their end. Everything is encrypted on encrypted. “Do I need the VPN? Every content creator I watch is always talking about VPNs.” Not gonna lie to you, unless you’re doing slightly shady stuff, like using unprotected (possibly car-downloadly) sites, you should be cool. VPNs are more to protect yourself from outside interference on the whole. Your workplace internet or home WiFi will snitch on you, yes. They’re able to tell what websites you visit. Unless you’re acting illicitly, you should be cool. (Tor is also a thing🤘) That said, please do your own research. People who know what they are talking about generally do not leave app reviews to get lost in the void, just to tell you.

SOOOO Happy to have this app!!!!. Love Dashlane. Even when I forget my (even the just changed) passwords, Dashlane comes through for me time and again. I had everything in there, I was having trouble with my iPhone 8. The guy at the store suggested I set it up “as a new phone”, but failed to mention/and I didn’t think about it, that I’d lose everything I had in there. Including the passwords. NOT DASHLANES PROBLEM!!!!! But....once everything was up and running, I could go back to Dashlane, enter what I remembered....and change the rest, and it was, is, and has always been there for me and it’s saved MUCH frustration!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! Hard to believe you get such success and worth from a free app!!!! THANK YOU DASHLANE PEOPLE!! 😊 ONLY wish the “advanced version” was free too. But understand…they’re here to make money.(been put on total disability, cut my income to 1/5th what it was, having to watch my pennies!!) M

Having problems. I have used this app for years and have always loved it. I use it constantly, and don’t mind paying the fees each year for my peace of mind. However, I recently discovered that I cannot add a new password on my iPad app. Every time I click on add a password the screen pops up but doesn’t allow me to type in the name of the new webpage. I contacted the help desk and was told to make sure I had enough memory, to delete the app entirely, turn off the iPad, then restart it, and re-install the app. I did all of the above and it still doesn’t work. I have a weird feeling that it has something to do with the update on the iPad? I can add new passwords on my phone and laptop. I replied to the help desk saying it still isn’t working, but have received no reply. Please help, as my iPad is what I use everyday.

Amazing app, been using for years.. I have been using dashlane since before they did monthly subscriptions, when it was just a flat one price for a year. They have saved me with their secure notes, the password management has made it to where I can use strong passwords because I never have to worry about not being able to remember. The UI & UX are amazing, the auto login feature is such an awesome feature too!! I love the dark theme, i only trust Dashlane when it comes to my password security and being able to remember them all. Also, the ability to use strong passwords makes me feel safer. Their other features are just the cherry on top. Everyone should use or at least try, Dashlane because it’s always been an amazing password manager for the years I’ve been using it.

Dashlane is a life & time saver!. If you haven't tried this app yet...what's stopping you?!? This app synchs across all your devices and is amazing. I love the security, the ability to automatically log you into accounts and site, etc. In this day and age you have to have so many passwords (not to mention those sites that makes you change them often) that it can be difficult to remember them or get logged in to sites or accounts efficiently. I love that I only need to remember one password and that the app can update one or all of my password with a couple of clicks! The auto logins on the web are amazing and quick. Great way to beat out any chance of a keylogger catching your info! So, again, what are you waiting for! Try it! You won't be disappointed!

Very frustrating. I downloaded the app and activated Touch ID. I somehow missed the part where I would need my master password in order to access my account ever again. I had this thing to help me with my problem with remembering passwords, and now, typically, I couldn’t remember my password for the app. Turns out you can’t reset your password without losing access to all of the Dashlane created passwords you already have; you have to start over from scratch. I would be OK with that, but now I don’t know most of my passwords. I 100% regret using Dashlane in the first place. I can’t access my passwords, I get an incredibly annoying amount of pop-up messages from Dashlane, and I get more annoyed that I downloaded it every day. It would have been nice if there had been something in the set up process that made a huge deal of the fact that if I did not know my master password I would not be able to login ever again; then I would have been certain to write it down. HATE THIS APP.

Just Get It and Make Your Life Easier. You have made it by without this app so you’re not convinced you need it. You ABSOLUTELY need it. It will help with your passwords, yes, but you don’t actually realize how much of your life is spent hassling with remembering, resetting, and looking up passwords until you get (and use) this app. From shopping online to banking and ordering takeout, to your kids’ extracurricular logins and that old email you rarely check but need to keep, this app will do all the password-remembering and logging-in for you. And I haven’t even touched on how it actually helps make your online presence more secure. Skip the annoying 60-second ongoing routine of resetting passwords that you don’t remember. Get Dashlane and use it. You will wonder how you ever got by without.

I struggled before I got this app. I had a very hard time keeping track of passwords I made, despite writing them down or creating and editing spreadsheets to help me. I always managed to miss something or forget to update them somewhere and I never thought my passwords were random or secure enough. I purchased this app over a year ago, hopeful that it would assist me in creating better passwords, updating/editing old or repeated passwords, and storing the most recent changes, securely. This app exceeded all of my expectations and then some almost immediately. It has helped me stay organized - a struggle I have faced throughout my life. To the creators of this app, you have absolutely no idea how incredibly helpful this has been, and continues to be, for me. I just want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my ADHD heart.

Do Not pay for Premium version. It’s a rip-off.. The paid Premium version of Dashlane is completely worthless. Don’t waste your money. They advertise that if you pay for the Premium version all of your saved passwords and Login user IDs will seamlessly sync to all your devices. What a joke. It does not work. Also their advertising is dishonest and fraudulent. They should make clear in big print when you pay $59 per year —- every year—- for the rest of your life—-that they do not offer telephone support like all normal companies do for paying customers. You only find out about that colossal Dashlane failure after you pay the money. Their customer support agents are completely useless, they cannot answer the simplest question. You email them, wait 1 to 2 days, and then they answer a different question or ask moronic questions that are unnecessary to answer the question the customer asked. It is clear that they are trying to make people give up so that they do not contact Dashlane customer support in the future. Their alleged customer support is in reality no support at all. What a rip off.

Good not perfect. With the ever increasing threats to hacking we face, Dashlane provides a resource that not only helps secure our passwords, but also has a password generator that makes complicated passwords that is hard to crack. The only thing I could recommend for Dashlane is to provide a notes field within their app. Companies have made access to their accounts more and more complicated with two factor authentication using another device, or app like OKTA to authenticate the ID. Other companies require answers to personal questions to reset their passwords and at times they ask for the most irrelevant questions that don’t apply to you. In circumstances like this, simple notes for these answers would be helpful. This especially if you need to share access with fellow employees.

Great app. This is the first app that provides a free trial and once the free trial ends, they don’t automatically charge you they keep you on as a free account unless you select otherwise. I think that is such a great and refreshing way of business. Another good thing is it works together with my Google passwords so I can have both if I want to. And it’s universal so it doesn’t matter if I’m on my phone and type in a new password or my computer, this saves so much time. The pricing is fair, especially for the service they provide. I would definitely recommend this app to anyone dealing with fraudulent activity on any accounts it generates a hard to guess and unique removes the headache from you having to remember the password, and no matter what device you’re on, you know it’ll be saved and you don’t have to create a new password when you’re on a different device!!

Best Free Password App. I have tried out several password apps and this one is by far the best one out there. First of all, I just want to say that the app design is wonderful! It is very clear how and where all your information is stored and it even pulls logos from the sites you keep passwords for so that you can easily locate which password you want to access. Also, I don't know about you but I can't see paying a monthly fee for an app that holds my passwords. With this app, you can store up to 50 passwords for free. Plus there is a secure note function for things like account numbers. On top of all that, you can also store personal information like addresses, social security numbers, and also card information like drivers license numbers. I would recommend this this highly to anyone looking to get the most out of a free service.

Overall Great VPN, Not Quite 5 Stars. Dashlane is a fantastic service; not only do you get VPN connectivity, you also get a very convenient password manager and generator, as well as auto fill capability as well. The password services are fantastic, though once in a while Dashlane doesn’t recognize a login window. If this happens, you will have to copy/paste your login info. if you don’t know it off the top of your head—this is a very minor inconvenience so it doesn’t really bother me since it works 95% of the time. The VPN is solid. I really like the option to choose different servers/countries. However, the VPN disconnects once in a while which can be a bit frustrating. For me, the VPN stays connected for an average browsing session 90% of the time or so. Would I recommend to a friend? Of course! The service is very affordable, maybe $40/yr or around there. You get a good bang for your buck. I use Dashlane every day—phone, laptop, and tablet. I will be sticking with this service for a long time.

Strongly recommend (with caveat). Great service. Nice apps. Still buggy on some sites. For ex: some websites don't seem to be perfectly compatible with dashlane's system of creating and storing new passwords. I have often found out that dashlane has created a new password and then not stored it correctly, leaving me with a problem. To combat this I now am sure to copy all passwords after dashlane creates them but before I submit them on the website. Then I paste them into notes just to be safe (I do this twice because sometime the command-C prompt doesn't always work the first time). Then i check to see if the new password took by having dashlane log me in to the site and I have the password in notes if I need it. Also when your computer sleeps and comes back on, Dashlane often stops working and must be signed into again. Minor issues i hope they’ll continue to work out. Would recommend.

Wife loves it too. Honestly, although I knew we had to have a password vault and management app, I was hesitant because to be effective, my wife would need to embrace it as well. I can’t tell you how many times she has said “I love Dashlane!” She has not only embraced it, but now even changes her passwords regularly with 25 characters or more. Best of all, she only needs to remember the master password. This app has greatly relieved the dark apprehension that we would be hacked because of old password management habits. Do yourself a favor... go through the time consuming process of implementing this app to safeguard your peace of mind. It is a small investment in feeling a sense of satisfaction that you have made it nearly impossible to hack your accounts. Don’t forget your master password. It is the only key you have and only you have it.

A security must have but expensive. I’ve been using Dashlane for several years now and it only gets better. They are constantly improving the technology making it easier to auto fill user ID and password on various platforms. For those not supported, my credentials are just a few clicks away. It is by and far the best way to not use the same password on multiple accounts and to keep your passwords strong and secure. The 2 factor integration is great and I’m sure it’s usability will improve like the password auto fill has over time. The one gripe I have is the subscription price. Their current deal is a discount for multiple users with their family plan. But for those of us who only need one or two users this isn’t a deal and the cost is making me consider switching to a competitor when my subscription expires.

Improving over time. Useful tool.. Dashlane has been working well for us for many months now. As with any app it has had its ups and downs with updates. I like the ability to share passwords securely with coworkers and colleagues. Auto-fill in iOS is still a mystery to me. Does that really work and in a browser on an iPhone or iPad? Really? Still Dashlane is convenient enough to find the password you need to copy and paste. On the desktop auto-fill works quite well. I also use 1Pass. I find that the two apps complement each other. 1Pass is very good for membership cards, credit cards and other photographs items. Dashlane is superior for banking, bill paying, managing multiple email accounts, etc. :-:-:-: Previous reviews below:-:-:-: It worked then it didn't then they fixed it and it worked and now the update BROKE IT AGAIN. da fuque? Today I am offloading my pwds to a spreadsheet and removing my payment items. Time to test a different app. My sincerest apologies to everyone to whom I recommended this crap app. I will contact you about replacement options. :-:-:-: Previous review below:-:-:-: Dash lane get one or fewer stars from this premium user until they FIX the app. Yup I paid. I also was happy to start using iOS 8 and a new iPhone 6 - but I'm boned without my pwds. No stars for Dashlane til it works again.

A Remote Memory. I have been using Dashlane for a while now and I really love it. I only have to remember 1 password which is the master password for Dashlane. All of my other passwords are stored in this app for easy access. No more writing passwords down only to loose the paper when you tried to hide it from prying eyes. I have the app on all my mobile devices so all my passwords go with me when I am not at home with my computer. Another great feature is when you add a password on one device, it automatically updates all my devices with that password so I do not have to add them myself. This way, all my devices are up to date on all my passwords that I enter into the app. It has been so great not having to try and remember the countless passwords that are required nowadays. To me it was a life saver!

Generally easy to use. Dashlane in general has been easy and convenient. I like that it syncs automatically across my different devices. It still has a few shortcomings. They can be worked around but it makes usage awkward. One is that if you access websites through the Dashlane App some website features do not work. The radio or dialog buttons do not work. I think the app for security is not allowing pop ups. As a consequence the user has to back out of the Dashlane link to the website and access through their web browser. Two. This same problem can occur with websites accessed through their browsers when changing user names or passwords. The Dashlane “generate password” feature does not work. The user needs to use the password creator in the dropdown menu and do a copy and paste. They then need to paste that password into the edit field for that account. Overall happy with Dashlane. Feel much more secure having different passwords for all my accounts.

The VPN Is Terrible. I’m a longtime 1Password user and wanted to give Dashlane a try, not because I’m unhappy with my current password manager, but because of the added free VPN service Dashlane offers. I’m walking away VERY disappointed, if only because the VPN is horrendous. It never stays connected on my phone. After about 10–20 min it just drops. The longest continuous connection I’ve enjoyed using it has been a whopping 45-min before it just abruptly disconnects — and with no warning to boot, leaving you exposed. I tried working with their tech support but it was evident to me that they didn’t really know why it was doing this and didn’t seem to place too much emphasis in helping me to get it to work and maintain a stable connection, almost as if the VPN feature is just a gimmick to get you to buy their password management product (which in fairness is their core business). I didn’t feel the need to continue and test out the rest of the app’s ‘bread and butter’ functions if the feature that is truly of interest to me doesn’t work.

Support is inadequate.. SEETHE END OF MY REVIEW WHERE I EXPLAIN THEIR FRAUDULENT AND DISHONEST RATINGS. Works well but if you can’t figure out how to do something there is no one to call. Since they have all of my critical information it is CRITICAL that I be able to call them for help. I assume they have a chat feature or email but I have had the service for several years and can’t find any contact information. If they had phone support I would sign up for VPN but I need to be able to talk to someone if I have problems. I am giving Dashlane 1 star because they are using a FRAUDULENT trick so that most of their reviews get 5 stars!!!🤥🤥🤥🤥 This is how they do it? They ask you if you like Dashlane. Then you are given 3 choices: 1) Rate it 5 stars 2)Report a problem 3)No response. You aren’t given the choice of rating it less than 5 stars. I circumvented their fraud by choosing to rate it 5 stars. Then at the next screen I chose to rate it a 1 to try to offset all of the fraudulent 5 stars. I use Dashlane and like it but after seeing that they are blatantly dishonest I question whether I can trust them.

My favorite password app! Some small tweaks i would make. Works really well in almost every scenario! Love it so far, even across my apple and desktop devices. Two changes I would fix: (1) The “auto-fill” in my browsers are finicky at best. Doesn’t always input payment info, etc. I have to click sometimes many times in order for the button to work (2) Sometimes the auto-fill is too aggressive and pops up when I’m just trying to fill something out (not using the auto-fill). And you literally can’t get rid of it. So if you are trying to fill out a standard form with a drop down, you can’t select the drop down items because this auto fill box blocks it. These two changes are frustrating, but honestly small things when compared the overall performance of everything else! Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Works with Kwerks. Dashlane is in transition from App to Web based which hopefully will eliminate many qwerks that annoy me. Generally I like Dashlane. It helps me build better defensive passwords, save them for immediate use and provides a means of passing them to wife & family if/as needed. The sync feature is useful but does not always work across several platforms. The mobile app doesn’t provide password generation in new webpages and there is a constant battle on my Apple products between Keychain and Dashlane. Somehow I end up with multiple entries for one website and it’s time consuming to find the current version and delete the old, wrong entries. Dashlane is very handy by auto filling purchase orders, etc. but has a mind of its own on the mobile app when at times it simply won’t work. All in all it’s a labor saving device and I recommend it.

Phenomenal tool. As an IT professional for over 25 years, I struggled to remember over 100 passwords in my account arsenal. After years of deliberations around whether I could trust a password safe with which I could also share a personal password with my wife on occasion, I found Dashlane. It was highly rated on a couple of tech sites, so I decided to take the leap with the free version. By about minute 17, I reached the limit on free password rentention and I upgraded to the premium version. I haven’t been more impressed. I can store all passwords, credit cards and secure notes, which I can also share with my wife. Now, I only need to remember my master password for Dashlane. I use the Chrome extension and the utility does the hard work for me. It’s been one of the biggest game changers for me. I even bought a membership for my wife.

Feel Much More Secure. This is a wonderful app, especially when working on your laptop, Mac, or PC. The auto log-in feature, means that you can use more complex and, more importantly, different passwords for different accounts, without the stress of trying to keep them all straight. You only have to remember one master password to rule them all. The app easily integrates with Firefox and other browsers. The iPhone version of the app also has a secure password generator, which is very useful. The app also keeps the passwords in a database that you can reference across your apple devices. One thing that bugs me is that the auto log-in feature doesn't work on your IOS browser and on IOS apps, so what is a very useful app on my PC and Mac, is a bit less functional on my iPad or iPhone. Still, this app has allowed me to really create a more secure computing environment.

I’d be lost without. Makes my life 1,000% easier. I can toss in passwords, notes, credit card info, and a few other categories. Auto fills for both websites & mobile apps. Syncs passwords instantly between devices, no lag whatsoever. As someone who has worked for over a decade in the Information Security field I can professionally vouch for the security of the methodology & technical implementation of their software. The fact they encrypt initially with AES256, do not retain the “Master Key” required to break through the government level encryption, utilize random password token generation between each point of connection, and the method of synchronization between devices, make this a very secure solution. As standard practice, for password safes retained in the cloud, I was not a big fan. I’m happy to say that, at least for Dashlane it truly is a secure solution. Professionally & personally I highly recommend!!
