What happened!!!!. I’ve been using this app for about 6-7 years. I’ve noticed within the last 6 mos approx I don’t get notifications anymore of my faves racing. Today, it told me to log in which I haven’t had to do before. It didn’t recognize my email as a user. It’s the same email I’ve been using!!!! I did forgot password, no user profile. I had to sign back up as if I’ve never been here. I’ve lost ALL the horses I’ve been following!!! I’m not a happy person at the moment!!!!!!! Yes, I used the same email address to sign back up!

Mostly good - hangs occasionally. Well designed product by a very good trainer. Its got some very nice screens & tracking features for your favorite horses & jockeys. The company is responsive when there are technical problems. It loads a little slowly if you are tracking many trainers & horse, etc as it updates. The downside: is probably due to Equibase. The app hangs occasionally, but so does the Equibase app itself. That is a serious source of frustration. I love this for information & replays at those tracks which allow replays (not all do) or for live feed. I’m guessing you need to subscribe to the “Premium Program” at Eq for it to work better. I simply won’t subscribe to Eq, because their feed is possibly whats causing the crashes. The ads are annoying. I’m just not going to call that hot chick that keeps popping up, thanks anyway. As for the review which gives it 1 star & makes spurious accusations - those are nonsense & have to be user error. Calvin Borel & Pletcher shows up fine on my jockeys list!

Please Fix! Not picking up some entries and results. I would give 5 stars but there is an issue and I can’t find a way to contact the developer 1st issue -not picking up some entries and workouts. I’m following a horse named Jokes on Blue that clearly won a race at Ellis Park. Yet if you’re following the horse he has no entries, no results and no workouts. Another I follow Clovertowne is working out in Indiana - yet no workouts are shown. Please fix the app! Second - the amount of adds is overwhelming! I’d rather pay for the app to get away from all the adds Otherwise it’s a great app!

Quick way to get your results on a race. Best way to get your results in seconds Love this app. I highly recommend it to everyone looking for results on a race .

Adds. The only problem is too many adds I m on tha app maybe 2 or 3 times a day for 20 straight minutes and every time I go to a new race an add pops.

FANTASTIC!!!. I have hundreds of apps and have NEVER written a review. This app is more than worthy of my time to do so! This is a great app and I will literally use it over 100 times a day! Every track should sign on to allow replays and live video through this app! It's so handy and easy to use, and remarkably fast with great video quality! Can't praise you all enough! And can't wait to view even more tracks live with it in the future! This is #1 in my book!!!

Trainer We needed something like this for a very long time. Kennys’ done a great job with it. Can't live with out it, indispensable. 5 stars.

Cool app, friendly people!. Pros: Wider date range of entries/results than eqb. app & doesn't crash as much as that one does. You can search entries by your fave trainers, horses, jockeys. I don't need to use the live vids much b/c I have a betting account, but videos for the few tracks I looked up so far in this app DID work. (They can't get vids from all tracks b/c all tracks won't give permission yet). Just remember not all tracks are currently racing so don't complain about no video if you try to watch a track that is over for the season! They have great customer service & respond right away to questions. Only con: I still use the eqb app when I want to quickly look up a horse's win history/earnings/breeding. You can get that info from this app too, it just takes more steps to get there.

New version is horrible!. This latest update is absolutely awful. I have to close out the app to go from race to race because it freezes constantly. There is an add literally after every button you push and now you want 10 dollars a month to not have these ads. There are other cheaper easier less frustrating ways to see a program. It also no longer sends me notifications. I tried to reset everything and that didn’t work. When they do come through I’ll get entry notifications on race day 10 minutes before post, or I will get 4 15 min to post notifications in a row for the same horse and so on and so forth. I have used this app for YEARS and YEARS while working in the racing industry and I used to recommend it to others. Now I tell them they should not under any circumstances download it as it’s a waste of time. I stuck around after you stopped streaming live, I got TwinSpires to watch minutes to post if I needed to. Now I’m done. No more for me. Not wasting my money. Give us back the old format. Ads are one thing but this is excessive! Everyone I know in the industry boycott it within 24 hours of the new update!

Review. Have loved using HRN as a whole, it’s a great idea, and great service, I just have a couple of issues. One, I understand ads are necessary in order to provide the service, especially for folks like me, who are not currently paying for an ad free experience, but having these ads pop up in between about every move you make has been annoying to say the least. Second, for some reason I no longer get the alerts or reminders I’ve requested, and I’ve noticed several occasions where a horse I’m following will not have the red bell next to its name in the entries for race it’s entered in, so I’ve had to set up my own reminders in calendar on my phone in order not to miss specific races I’d like to view live. Other than that, it’s great, and I also like, and respect Kenny McPeek, even though I haven’t yet had the honor of meeting him in person, so I like to feel I’m supporting him somehow. He’s a great trainer, seems so down to earth, and a couple years ago when I reached out to express my sympathies for the loss of one of his better known horses, I was stunned when I received a gracious reply from him. It meant a lot, because I know how busy these trainers are, and it clearly meant a lot to him to have a total stranger show they cared, and it showed me type of person he is, just a class move in my opinion. :)

Down hill fast. This app is becoming so over run by ads to make money that the app doesn’t even work anymore.

Up to Date Racing Information. Just signed up for this great site to follow horse racing and my favorite horses, jockeys and trainers. I haven’t missed a minute of what is happening around the Country. Highly recommend this site!

Add problem. There is one ad that you cannot X out. You have to go out of app and go back in another add will come up that you can X out to get to what you want. And I’m not willing to pay for the no add thing

Horse Racing Now. Good app to get entries and results very quick. Easy set up to navigate. Could improve on Alerts for favorite horses-provide more work out videos ….I can’t imagine not having this Ap I get info quick

Really awesome, I use it everyday.. I absolutely love this app. It's made following horses so much easier because their workouts, entries, results, and charts are all in one place! It's kind of a bummer because the replay function doesn't work anymore for any of the tracks, but still is a good app. Like a lot of people have said, there are technical issues, but nothing that warrants the app less than 5 stars. It takes a while to load (sometimes longer than others) and it sometimes spontaneously closes. It occasionally loses connection to the internet, but if you close and reopen it, the problem is solved. Also, my the notifications stopped working about 3 months after I got it, but I'm almost positive that's an issue with my phone and not with the app. The information still is there, but I do not get automatically notified like I used to. You can adjust your notification settings to see exactly what you want whether that be entries, workouts, calls to post, results, and more. Overall, awesome and app and I think any level of horse racing fan will appreciate it.

Not worth it. Ok so for the past several months we’ve been able to deal with the annoying ads for what info we needed. However now they taken away horses/trainers/jockeys followed and only giving entries and results. Forcing you to pay more than what the app is even worth. Will be deleting the app entirely today.

Great Horse racing App. Overall this is a must have app. No worry about betting and getting bad intel. This is a straight forward app to give you all you need to know about what’s going on at the track past, present and future. Get it !

Suggestions. I’d like to get notifications on when the horses in my stables are running only and not the trainers and all the xtra info. Whenever I turn on alerts I get way too much and my phone goes crazy. And I wish you had race replays

Coolest horse racing app ever!. Excellent app, love the live race feed, results info and the fact that the entries info goes out as far as they are loaded at the track, not just a day or two. I love everything else about it too. The fact that you can pick favorites and also that replays are also done per horse so they are easier to keep track of. Just wish all tracks were involved, especially the Churchill Downs tracks. Keep it up, I really enjoy using it, thanks!

Too many ads!!!!. Used to be good with much fewer ads

Went downhill fast.... When I first got this app I would have given it 5 stars. I’m an exercise rider at two raving farms, so watching the live racing and replays of horses I ride and work around was incredibly rewarding. Now I’m back to getting on the computer if I happen to be home. The real kicker within the last month is that I no longer get notifications for call to post or 15 min! I checked my settings and flipped them off and on and still nothing. I deleted app and reinstalled so we’ll see if that did anything 🤷🏼‍♀️ Unfortunately this app is not super useful without that feature, but I’m sticking it out in the hopes these bugs get fixed and that maybe, just MAYBE they’ll get live racing video back? Fingers crossed!

App. Excellent application for the horse players with smart phones. This is a tremendous application. But, it was so much better before all of the interrupting, annoying ads. Thanks.

Used to be great. I understand the need for revenue. I understand you need to grow. But now we are overwhelmed with ads. Long ads. Way way too much. I get 15 minutes to post notifications after race runs. This was a simple and easy way to follow your horses and trainers. Never had a problem . Now it takes minutes cause you have to sit thru long ad and another and another. I can’t figure out what you are paying for with the premium. 9.99 to keep up is way too much for what it offers.I’m gonna get pps from drf. I’m gonna bet on TwinSpires and watch all the replays I want. It was a good run. I’ll keep checking back. If I can start checking on a horse without extra intrusive ads I’ll stay around. Y’all need to feature horse racing with some ads not ads with some horse racing. You’re killing your product

Exciting. I don’t bet on the races but I love Horse Racing ! I wanted to know more about what was happening in the racing world and Horses now let’s me do this.

Horse owner/ Race Player. I am addicted to this app. I don't miss races while out shopping, etc. I get alerts, & can look up entries & post times super easily, without having to log into my wagering account or search all over the web. It's like having a personal horseplayer's secretary at my disposal. Thank you for making my passion much easier to organize & enjoy! Please keep working on getting more tracks on board with live feed video agreements. That is fabulous to have!

Reliable and Convenient. While I probably don’t use the app to its fullest extent, its my first stop to review cards from different tracks to layout my simulcast strategy for the day and week.

Much Better. Once we were allowed to add Owners to favorites, that was huge.

Horse Racing Fan. Absolutely love this! I can watch races at Penn National live, which is great as I'm in a partnership on several horses based at Penn and I'm in Texas. It's not always possible to make it to one of the few areas with a simulcast facility to watch. Now I have it on my iPad. Also can see and track what other horses/trainers I might be interested in are doing. This is the best racing app as it's not just limited to stakes races. Most horse races aren't stakes and it's nice to be able to see them.

Updated App. I’ve used HRN for years - mainly for following trainers & jockeys. The updated app isn’t much different but I don’t know why you are listing trainers and jockeys by first names now instead of their last names. You add them in using the last name - if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. The ads don’t bother me much I just click thru them. Question: Equibase just updated their app too. Was this done in conjunction with them or just a coincidence. I know you’re both based in Lexington so was wondering.

Replays. The replays no longer work! Black screen! What’s up with that?

Too many ads. Ad pops up every time you click on something. Price also way to high to remove them. Easier to use equibase, app is annoying and barely useful anymore because of the ads

Horse Races Now. Great app. I like that I can follow my favourite horses, jocks and trainers. It sometimes loses server connection but always comes back on line quickly. Easy, quick info at your finger tips. I would waste a lot of time if I didn't have this app.

Unreasonable advertisement pop ups.... Have used this app for many years. I understood the need to introduce the advertisement pop ups in order to generate funds to keep profitable. However to program a pop up add after EVERY SINGLE click is unreasonable and a way to turn off all your customers and lose your subscribers completely. Be reasonable to your customers.

Update Sucks. Ten bucks to get rid of Ads? Really? The app doesn’t work at the best of times, the charts are slow to be posted and the results come in about a half hour after a race. The best part is if lots of people are using this app the dam thing won’t work so am I going to pay you ten bucks for ads? Hell NO! Your app isn’t worth it!

Terrible. This app was so good before. Used it quite a bit now can’t even scroll down without seeing two ads. Crashes all the time and has so many hiccups

What happened?!?!?!. This app use to be a huge help in keeping track of pretty much everything horse racing. Now the notifications rarely work, if at all. I understand it’s a free app. There has to be advertisements. I’m cool with adds. Why not let them be across the bottom of the screen like every other website in America. If I get another political/presidential , join my campaign add I’m gonna go crazy. Every single click today led to a joe Biden add. I literally saw the same add 6 times within 3 minutes. That’s excessive... If your gonna have an add on every click at least fix that notification issues.

Great for novices. As a novice horse wagerer, I love this app. I find it to be fast and reliable. I mostly use it to check results on my bets if I'm not in front of the TV. I've also used it to check on a favorite jockey or two. I dont watch live races or replays on this app. I know the app makers are trying to expand this app and I wish them the best!

Great race app. Great job, well written with blazing response. I love the fact of being on the go. Using this app properly and knowing its limits really saves time and the stress of getting beat at the windows. Only drawback is the transition to your online betting account . You have to exit out of your account (drf bets) when going back and forth. If this were not the case it is all of a 5 star app.

Ads... improve them. I understand the need for ads in order to keep the app running. But change the format. Scroll them across the bottom as other apps do, like my radar, weather, and navigator app. There’s other ways... brainstorm! You’ve gone from a 5 star to a 1 star with one update.

Great app for handicappers. I love the quick access to race entries, results, scratches, track conditions, etc. I think you can even track your favorite jockeys, trainers & horses. There's just so much info at your fingertips! I'm still finding cool stuff everyday. Love, love, love the app!

What happened?. This was an app I really enjoyed and used often. Then an update dropped the link to my particular wagering platform, which was no big deal. The latest update adds ads, which I understand. However, now with the latest update nothing works! I tried going to entries and when I scrolled down to the race I was interested in it locked up. Repeated failures before being able to open the 1st race, then scroll down, it jumps back up, scroll down a few more times, then you can open the 2nd. Repeat until the 8th (which was my goal) and licks up again. This used to be a go to app, but unless bugs are fixed, will be deleted.

The best app. I have !. It's a joke Churchill downs and the rest don't realize the better the experience the better it is for them ! Their racing is getting worse every year ! Your making the racing experience for fans and bettors !

Latest update ruined the app. Latest update added ads everywhere - the app is unusable now unless you pay $9.99 a month. Not worth it even at half that price. I’m deleting the app and not looking back. I own racehorses and used this app quite a bit previously; I’ll miss the original version. Developer responds to all complaints with “we’ve spoiled you”. Sounds to me like they know the new release is a mistake. I deleted the app, will not be back.

Pros vs cons. I enjoy getting the alerts and having a super easy way to keep up with everything as it’s been super handy. The unfortunate part is it doesn’t take into account horses in a lot of other countries, we no longer get replays or live feed, and now my biggest issue of it all is almost no one I know is getting proper alerts (no more 15min or post time alerts and hardly any chart alerts as well)

The track Guy. Love this app would like to be able to put horse name in and check where it will be running in the near future. I believe this is possibles .The app has great potential so stay with it guys. Good luck. The best site in racing . This is the Kentucky Derby of apps. I have the old version they send me to the App Store and they said I need 1300 phone my phone font old version dnd know I can’t even get into my old version ???

Pleasantly perfect!. Great app. Thought it would be lame but quality is very high, better than any of the wagering platforms. All it needs is a partnership with one of the ADWs so we can bet from it. I'm sure the platform would be superior to what's out there based on what I've seen so far.

Best horse racing app. This really is the best horse racing app and trust me I tried them all.. It's so easy to find out what your looking for upcoming races, favorite jockey Trainer and horses upcoming races, and also can see the chart of how the race went and also some tracks you can watch or even stream live.. It's a great app!!!!!!!

Come on Kenny!!. Former 5 star app. Now the most frustrating app on a horseman’s iPhone. I understand the app is profit based, but why do I have to watch a topless man for 15 seconds if I want to check a non-chart result? The app has greedily become focused on excessive profit. The ad free version is too expensive monthly for the average horseman. Surely there is now a niche for an alternative app to follow horses & trainers with less frustrating ads. PS: Mr. Mcpeek, if you make us watch topless women instead of obese guys for 15 seconds while we wait on the result, I will change the review to 4.5 stars.

Best Horse Racing app Hands Down. Great setup and content. The live videos and replays are my favorite-on a lot of other apps and sites you have to pay for them! Hopefully all the tracks not offering video will realize they need to team up with these guys. Thank you so much for your work-great job

A Must Have Handicapping tool!. With this App I have and continue to create an unbelievably useful handicapping database. I use it everyday following my favorite tracks, trainers, horses and jockeys. I can't believe how much more accurate I've been since I've been using it......thank you Mr. And Mrs. Mcpeek!

Old version much better. The first app before it was re-written was a much more user-friendly app. The new version is very glitchy. Doesn’t give you the actual workout times until much later. Will give you the workout distance but not the time. I’m sure they will get it figured out and It will be back to the standard that they started with.

Love it. I love this app! I was so disappointed when my favorite horse racing websites started to not include video anymore, I don't have access to HRTV, or TVG in my area. So I was so excited when I found this! Just wish that it was possible to see replays from all tracks.

Lifetime racing fan. I love this app. I only wish all the tracks would step up and allow video access. It seems that the majority of races I'm interested in seeing are at tracks that don't allow video access.

Must have for any race enthusiast!!. This app is great!! The quality is pretty good when watching races considering that it's live and on an iPod. I spent all day watching races once and it was so exciting! I didn't really know much about the horses or tracks before but by the end of that day I had made favorite horses. Get this app!!!

Bring back live racing and replays. Was not a better app to watch older races and live racing but since this feature has been taken away I use very little but still a great place to get the odds and check out the competition

Server Connection Issues. I have been trying to check how my horses are doing but when I load the app it says can not connect to the server. I gave it a four star rating because I love the app but try to fix the server connection issue. Thank You

Great app!. If you like to bet the ponies this is the best app that does not require you to check your results etc. on the gambling website. I like to be surprised if I bet and didn't actually watch the race. If I check on the gambling website I see my account balance which usually ruins the surprise.

Horse Owner. I love the new version. It is crisp, clear, concise and the information in touch format is much better than the old swiping. I also do not mind the adds although I purchased the premium version. Completely understand that it takes millions to develop such an app. Thanks for all you guys are doing to bring the horses and races to the fans. This is a much needed app. I will keep recommending it!

A Good App That Is Going To Get Better. The new version is easier to use and most of the bugs are 99% gone. The ads are now less intrusive on the free version than when first released. There is a long list of additional functions in the wings that are planned if enough subscribers can be added. Long time user, Grove City, OH

Awesome. Great app. Use it everyday. Only complaint, and its not a big one. Wish you can turn on alerts for horses only or trainer only. It just gets crazy when you have some favorite tracks and it alerts you for all the entries for the tracks when all I really want to know is when a certain horse gets entered. Excellent!. I use this app daily. Find it to be quick, easy and offer compete listings of entries and results in a user friendly format. The alerts of favorite horses, jockeys and trainers is super! Also use handicapping tools and video replays (when available). Everything at my fingertips. Love it!

Must Have App!. If you are even a minimal horse racing fan, Horse Races Now is a "must have" App. The opportunity to have a list of your favorite trainers, horses and jockeys with fully customizable alerts for each is invaluable. Obviously, the live video is great, and the race replays provide a wonderful way to see a favorite horse run, or to dig deeper when handicapping an upcoming race. The only thing keeping HRN from 5 stars is the limited access to some racetracks, which is an issue that is out of their hands.

Best evre. Love the time and effort they put into getting this up and running, wish all the tracks would buy into streaming live racing on this app, it only helps the overall product in the long run. Keep up the good work.

100% Useful. This app is a horseman's dream. I can make it my own by adding trainers, horses and tracks that I need. No more waiting for Equibase or DRF to load. Results are posted quickly. I wish all the tracks would jump on board and realize how useful and effective this is.

A Must. If you play the horses this is a great tool to check results, create your own custom list of horses, jockeys and trainers to follow. Just absolutely have nothing negative to say about this app. Use it nearly everyday, check on potential carryovers etc. Covers most every tack, has features I have yet to even tap into. A winner!

Great Addition to the Sports of Kings!. I use daily- advance entries to target potential handicapping opportunities - fast results post official announcements. Easy to track your favorite horses, jockeys, and trainers. Don't use the alerts much myself but they are a nice added feature. This is well done and thanks to Mr McPeek and the developers.

Great App. Gives you updates ad allows you to follow horses, trainers, and different tracks. Best horse racing app out there. Only thing missing is a tab linking directly to the racing forms and blogs so you can stay updated to what is going on at each one.

Great APP !!!!!!!. This app is great for the accomplished player and rookies. The guy that gave bad review needs a new phone. The live feed works awesome and I love being able to track trainers and jockeys. Keep up the good work and keep bothering the guys at Churchill so we can get their tracks. Wow!. I love the new update. Easy to sign up. I love that I don't need to provide my social security number to join! The notification sounds are intuitive and customizable. I'm so busy, but I can keep track of my favorites and not miss any of the action. I hope more race tracks climb on board this app. Way to go!!!!

Include other country and harness. I love this app don't get me wrong but I own harness horse and I would love to be able to go to one place to find them instead of search thru every race to find them. I would also love for it to work when the horses are overseas or you have horse that only race over there

So Frustrated. I’m a horse owner who used to love this app and use it every day. They recently updated the app and when I updated my iOS I lost all access to my account. I have requested the automated email account reset multiple time and get nothing in response. I’ve also sent numerous emails to the “support” address provided. Got one reply saying the issue was being sent to the developer for followup, and haven’t heard anything more, despite several follow ups. So frustrating.

Ken you made my handicapping easier. The race replays amazing, just type in horses name and there it is. Alerts, live video. I don't need TVG or HRTV anymore.. Just wish you had Gulfstream but I realize the management won't participate. Keep up the amazing work, hopefully it's like a wine, gets better with age.

Great App - Another HOME RUN by the McPeeks. This is a GREAT app for the Horse Racing Fan(s). You don't need to be a "techie" to use it and the information available is fantastic. The Race Replays are an especially good feature - wish more tracks (e.g. Churchill Downs) would participate. The McPeeks have definitely hit another HOME RUN with this App and deserve all of the Kudos for making it happen.

Horse races now. Great app to quickly check for entries and results, ability to wager and watch replays or live races when track allows. Can see full charts on races and watch favorite horses trainers etc. also notifications are great. I use this app several times a day

My #1 go to horse racing app. It's perfect! All the results including the charts. Video is back (not the developers fault, contractural problems). News. Entries for upcoming cards. You couldn't ask for a better app. I love it and use it almost everyday.

Coltnfilly. Awesome app. When I try to go out on the Internet to watch a live race everything requires an account and I don't live in a state where I can get an account legally. Would love to see more tracks added but I'll take what I can get for now. Thank you , Thank you, Thank you.

Best iPhone app I have. Easy to use.. Updates at timely .. Best app on my phone for sure.. Every track should allow there info on this app.. Exposure exposure exposure.. I remember a time the race results came every 30 minutes on radio stations.. Somewhere along the way they quit doing it.. Racing really does have fans who are interested..!!

Great app. This is the only app iv seen like it. I work at a thoroughbred race horse farm and it is very important to watch races and I can't always see them but with this app I can watch the other horses in different races and I can also watch jockeys that I like and really study there riding styles. This app is great I would like to see the results last longer and allot more information about trainers, horses and jockys

Barely useful to absolutely useless. This app had become a pain to use, an ad between every notification, sometimes even two, and constant crashes. I’ve missed many a result because of glitches in the app in the last several months. Just updated the app, thinking some issues would be resolved, and I now get taken straight to the main screen (and another lovely ad) whenever I try to see a result or entry. Definitely uninstalling! Even after having this app for years. I’ve screen shotted my ‘Followed’ and I’m over this app!

Great Site!. Great Site! A few tweaks are needed? When reviewing the activity section of one of the favorite sections it is difficult to go from one activity to the next. A next button which would close one review and open the next or back to the last review would make it a lot easier to peruse the information whether it be results or entries!
