Great app. This is the only app you need! A huge inventory and the fact users rate the sites makes it all worth while. Map itself is also more than adequate.

Great affordable camping guide to Australia!. What a great affordable camping guide to Australia! Camps Australia Wide has an app that I wanted to get but couldn't afford. This app has been perfect and cost was a fraction of the price.

5.0.82 Update Freezes Constantly. I wrote a negative review for the previous update. This update doesn’t do much to improve upon the performance issues, but what’s worse is the app constantly freezes now in the 5.0.82 update. Loved the app before the previous two updates. Hoping they get the issues fixed in a future update. Disappointing for a paid app that I would use daily.

Australia. We are traveling around Australia. This is the greatest camp reference site!! Unbelievable amount of information. You can even find where you are on the map if you don't have a cell connection, by just having your cell service turned on. It activates the GSP tracking. I love the comments and photos. We use them all the time to decide where to stay. Very interactive. Thanks!

Worth the money!. Very handy. Buy it if you're road tripping in Aus.

First time using.. It’s a super great resource especially the offline map. At times the info isn’t everything you need but it def helps as a guideline. It wouldn’t be an adventure if everything was laid out for you.

Super useful. Invaluable on our recent camping trips. Very accurate.

Killer App. Used it on my trip from Perth up the west coast to Darwin then down to Adelaide. Saved me heaps on caravan parks and many of the spots were probably better than most caravan parks. Only thing I suggest is reading the comments others have left. Great way to tell what you're in for.

Pin clustering. The map is now more difficult to use with the pin clusters. I'd like to see the previous icons returned.

App asks to update to new version, but i just downloaded the app. Infinite glitch where my newly purchased app asks me to update. And when it goes to the app store, it says open (meaning its up to date!!) need a refund for this even though everyone raves about the app

Australia's Premier Camping App. Excellent app for Android and IOS for finding free and paid camping sites all over Australia. Frankly, if you are driving in parts of or all around Australia this is a must have resource.

Our Go To for Camping and More. WikiCamps is our first stop for camping info. Easy to use, included HipCamps, Free camps, National Parks, stopovers, etc. Also water points and dump points, points of interest. It has it all including photos, costs and reviews. We rarely need to look elsewhere.

Highly recommended. On a 40 day motorhome trip through Australia and this app has provided great insight.

The best. The best app for campsites in Aus. Fantastic tool. Use it constantly.

Useful but needs some work. I used this app on a round Australia trip in 2018, and it was very helpful in finding good camp sites, but, some of the operations are pretty ordinary. Some of my complaints: 1. Trip planner is virtually unusable, the only way to plan a trip is to use route planner and jump between the two apps. 2. Distances appear to be “as the crow flys”, if you are silly enough to try and use the planner, the distance are way out. 3. When you find a site, and you zoom in to have a close up look at the map, you lose town names and other relevant details 4. Some of the details of camps are pretty inaccurate, particularly site marked as 4WD only, maybe this is for people with no knowledge of travelling outside of the big cities. I have more, but will continue to use the app and post as I find more issues. In summary, it’s a good app, but is not really user friendly particularly for some of the nomads out there who are not really computer literate

Wendynjeff. We have been privileged to have had 3 years permanently on the road traveling and seeing this beautiful country we live in with the help of word of mouth and this app WikiCamps it was the best thing we ever did in down loading the app. There are so many reasons it's easy to use great to show places of interest not only where you want to stop but along the way. I will have it open tracking our journey and will find those place to stop and investigate. Great for when you are getting to the end of the day and you just want to find somewhere to pull up for the night . Used it to tell me what shops are in the town ,fuel , water and always the cost of the caravan parks when we had to pull up for a day or two for the washing and supplies . Excellent and still use using it and we got it when it was free ........ long time . Thank you .

WikiCamps Must Have App for Aus Travellers. Having been introduced to WikiCamps some five years ago we have utilised it ever since especially in the last three and a half years while travelling around Australia. The choice of many and different van and camp sites has been more than helpful in our travels with oversight of fees, amenities, location, distance and must see locations within the area and on route. And what’s more it links to your preferred Maps App to make life easier still. If you wish you can track you travels on the App, love it!

My Aussie Travel Bible. I have been using WikiCamps app for years now. I call it my Aussie travel bible😂I love finding all the camps , getting lost when the maps takes you the wrong way (all part of the adventures) & all the quirky things Australia has to offer also all the reviews from other travellers in the comments are very helpful good & bad. I only have one disappointment with the app which was when I updated the app recently it has been very slow loading since but other than that no complaints from me Thanks 😊

Great App with Easy to Use Filters. So far we have found Wikicamps very useful for planning our trip to see all the camping options in one place. Being able to filter for pet friendly is a big plus. It would help if the fees section was a bit clearer when people are selecting powered, multiple nights, peak season or cabins etc but overall the app has been great and gives a sense of whether it is worth looking at the campground web page itself or not to bother.

Old favourite is very sick. I’ve used this app for years but since the big database update earlier this year it’s become very very slow, my iPhone runs hot in my hand, and if I’m not at home on wifi I can’t get most of the data to load even though I’ve downloaded the offline maps and spent days downloading all the data for every state. I keep sending emails with examples of what’s wrong but the replies seem to infer they are just doing the same thing and not really fixing the issues. It’s been months now and we are still waiting for a useable app with all the data that we love. Come on GDay. You bought this app and said you’d make it better. Currently it’s worse. Do your own staff use this app? Everyone of them should be using and testing it, then maybe they’d understand the problems and the frustrations we long term users are having with it. I don’t want to throw the app away as it contains all my old trip history which I need.

Happy WikiCampers. We have used WikiCamps for 7 years as we have travelled all over Australia. We use it for researching, trip planning, reviews of free camps, van parks, national parks etc. It’s helped numerous times with navigation as well as using photos to get an idea of places ahead. We have our trips recorded on the trip planner for looking back on later. We also use the satellite finder for setting up our sat tv. It’s better than the bought device we started with. Couldn’t be happier with this app and have recommended it to to many friends and other travellers along the way.

Family of 5 traveling Oz. Since BC (Before Children) we had Wiki Camps and was great as a young couple traveling. Now we have 3 kids under 6 and a rear fold camper. Thanks to this app we can find not only free camps but good caravan parks with great reviews that are up to date other Wiki Camp users. It has saved us staying at what sounds like some horrible experiences people have had. Also have personally stayed at some places that had no reviews and to then pass on our experience is a great feeling to help other users. The photos also help with seeing sites as sometimes it can be hard to fit with a camper as long as ours.

Easy to use camping tool. I have used WikiCamps for a number of years now, even downloading the UK version when we travelled over there and have found it to be a valuable tool in planning your journey be it with a caravan, camper, motor home or tent. I also use the trip planner and find it not too hard to use. If you read the reviews, do so with an open mind, what some think is a dump, others find it okay. I must say though that since the update recently, I have battled with losing my previous trips, to the slowness of the loading. It is gradually improving but utterly frustrating for the last few weeks.

WikiCamps. What a fantastic tool you’ve created. Totally invaluable for anyone wanting to get away. We only started caravaning 5 months ago and I’ve looked at a few camping apps but WikiCamps is right at the top by far. Not having this app would be like going caravaning without taking your car. However the only downside is the new update has created a lot of issues. It’s much slower now and on a couple of occasions we’ve lost all out data with significant research that we had to start all over again. So we have lost a little bit of faith (which I’m sure we will get back in time) when we plan a trip now we write it down on paper just in case we lose it again. Having said that at the end of the day it’s a great app.

We Can’t Hit The Road Without This App. We have been using WikiCamps for the last 7 years and have recommended it to many people over those years. We love that caravan parks are included and additional sites can be added anytime. The ability to read reviews and prices paid help do much in the decision making - whether it be for an overnight stay (or longer) or a break while travelling. The addition of Visitor Information Centres, public toilets, water, dump points, points of interest - everything is covered. No additional cost to update.

Actually perfect for planning our trip. Have to be honest, there are loads of useless apps out there but this one has managed to get us around Australia with minimal effort of finding a campsite. Even if one site is full we can easily see others In the area. Wish they were better at locating random showers (in the petrol station for example) so I didn’t have to use two apps but that is a very minor thing. Love the app and have been using it for about 4 - 5 years now

Offline maps are rubbish. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the map you see in the preview here is the actual offline map you will be downloading, it looks nothing like it. All of the town names are missing (regardless of zoom level) and most of the roads you see are not there when at the same zoom level as the preview. Contrary to the description it is next to impossible to preplan or navigate using the offline maps they are that bad. I should add that i have this app and maps on my ageing windows phone and the maps are excellent but here on my ipad pro they are absolute rubbish. I have posted to the forum but the developer just ignores the map grievances. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app with no improvement. You have been warned.

Frustrated. I’ve always loved this app and I’ve used it frequently over the years. There seems to be a problem with it at the moment. When I go to open, it’s saying it needs to be updated. When I click on link it takes me App Store and only option there is to open not update. I’m going back and forth unable to access my trip planner or any searches. I’ve still given 5 stars as I’m sure this problem will be resolved.

My “go to” app for trip planning. We travelled over from WA to Queensland last August via the top. Whilst here between visiting family and housesitting we have done a number of trips - one to the goldfields, one to Cape Tribulation, to the Gemfields via Bowen, and back to Brisbane -over 4,000 kms. WikiCamps made it so easy to plan these trips. I found breaking them down into stages made it more manageable. The information available on location, site details, photos, users comments (very helpful), what’s around made it so much easier to do and you can edit it as much as you like to plan your trip. The make public feature is great too as I can share my trip with my family overseas, and now I’ve found out how to print my trips I can keep a hard copy together with photos. A very useful app, highly recommended. Well done everyone.

Time 2 C. Great app. We are Grey Nomads on the road for next 6 months and basically self sufficient. It is our 3rd long duration trip. We don't want jumping castles and swimming pools where we stop - just a good sized level quiet site (ideally with water available). Neither can we afford to pay the "over the top caravan parks prices" every night for many months. We are now using this app first - before Camps 7 or a google search for reasonably priced caravan parks etc. Have met lots of nice fellow travellers at these Wiki camp sites and we will also give balanced updates if the info is not correct. If everybody gives honest updates the App will be even better than it already is!!

A must for travellers and explorers!. If you’re a regular self drive camper, caravanning tourer, or just someone who likes to explore; this app is well worth the price. We use it regularly for information when planning our holidays and deciding where to stay. Whilst it is not 100% comprehensive with regards to free camps and every landmark and point of interest, it’s every close. We use this in conjunction with Google Maps and Hema Maps and between all three apps are completely covered both online and offline.

A camping essential. The best $7.95 you will ever spend on camping equipment. A great site for all the information you need while on the road. Contrary to popular belief, it does work offline if you download the state maps. Great to save favourite spots you have heard about, good maps, free and paid campsites are all there in one app along with dump points, water taps, points of interest, popular bike trails etc….Up to date reviews, fees and photos, along with the ability to plan upcoming trips. Spelling has to be exact, which is a frustration sometimes. It would be useful if the information could be shared across different operating platforms. I would like further “favourite“ option to distinguish between sites we have already stayed at and liked, and sites we want to explore.

I couldn’t do without my WikiCamps. The best part about using WikiCamps is being able to choose the right place to stay that suits us based on the type of facilities, recent positive reviews (we generally ignore the negative ones), the photos and the fees. It makes travelling so much easier. When fellow travellers tell us about great places they have stayed I immediately search for it on WikiCamps and if it gels I Add to Favourites or Add to Trip Planner depending how close we are to it. We’ve appreciated all the filters to find things like dump points and water (although you do have to be sure water is a tap to fill up not just a toilet block). And it’s a great record of our trip round Oz including mileage $$, kms travelled, and places we’ve stayed. The FB support page is great to share stories or ask questions of the community - and WikiCamp staff are helpful and proactive with their responses. We certainly couldn’t do without WikiCamps.

travelling australia. my shock horror was when we were in the car somewhere n i noticed wiki had all changed i was in a panic. I had no idea how to get to my wiki gps location because the new site was on some other page that i didn’t know how to get to. I’m enjoying it now but it’s taken weeks to find my way around it. I think it’d be good if you gave 3 minute tutorials on the new site every couple of days. Different customers come onto the site all the time new n old (not meaning age)and there’s a lot on here we’re still learning. We finish this trip in Dec but i’ll rack my brain after not looking at it for 12 mths what i did n how to get back to understanding wiki again. Alison

Great app BUT………. This is a good app, but the jury is still out as to weather it will continue to be seeing that it has been sold. I have contacted Wiki camps about a LARGE number of free camping sites that are closed till March 23 and asked them to update, providing proof via a link to the respective official websites, to date this has been ignored, so this leads to the assumption that they just don’t care if sites are open or closed, or if you get fined or not and talking with other users, this appears to be a familiar and old problem. So to the user, use with caution and verify with offical sites if sites are open, closed and in some cases here with this app, some listed as open and free are actually forbidden to camp there at all, yet they refuse to update listings so USE WITH CAUTION and don’t take their information as gospel truth.

So useful!. We used WikiCamps to travel Oz in 2014. It was a fantastic way of keeping track of our trip and forward planning too. Part of the fun of the journey was meeting people and getting their tips on where to stay next. Marking recommendations with a love heart means I had that information at hand right across Oz. Fast forward to 2021 when we are looking at a small (within state!) holiday, I refer to this app to determine attractions and places to stay. I have continued to mark favourites over the years whenever I read of somewhere so now I have a great resource at hand to work out where to go and stay. Love this app. Money well spent :)

Suggested Improvements. Recent changes to improve offline content downloads has helped but team, still needs more work. Offsite content screen needs to remain open, which means if it closes, the process starts at NSW again, then runs through all states again. Even if a state has recently been updated, it’s take over 30mins to get to WA. This effectively means WA offline content is unlikely to ever get downloaded, perhaps even VIC etc. Unless you’re willing to wait and wait. Keep making improvements please. We need this app and the downloaded offline content to rival how it use to be prior to the platform upgrade. Thank you.

Great App but could have a couple more options. This is a great trip planning app and love how it has parks, free camps, water, dump points etc marked as you are planning. Love the reviews to read and photos uploaded by others. Would love an option to make other lists apart from your actually trip plan for future reference. You can add spots to your favourites but would love to be able to view this in a list. To be able to have caravan park favourites list, free camps favourites list etc that automatically subtitles them into regions or states for example. Other than that a great all round app and love using it.

Not Always Reliable. I used to like WikiCamps but on a trip earlier this year to the north of WA and to the NT, I became very disappointed with it. I ended up not using it or relying on it. My 2 main problems: 1) The inaccuracy of the details. Many sites weren’t anywhere near the location they were attached to. 2) There were many entries for obscure camping spots behind a rock or at the turning left when you see the black Tyre marks on the road. They were impossible to find. BUT they completely left out or ignored the legal 24 hr stopovers. I remember trying to find one secret little spot but had no luck so decided to pull over in a parking bay/rest stop as it was getting late as WikiCamps was of no help. In the morning, 30 kms down the road was a 24hr stopover which was not mentioned at all. I’ve also found it difficult to update site details because there was no Internet access and it wouldn’t allow me to update the site details at a later date. It seemed that you had to be at the site in order to update it. Have been looking around for a better app for my next road trip. Will try Free Range Camping.

Great app when used correctly. Once you navigate the app, it’s extremely easy to use. I find most of the information pretty accurate. It does rely heavily on user input, and lets face it, people are not always completely efficient. The general usage of the app provides the results you expect. I use it nearly every single day to plan our trip. I have also asked support from the developers and they usually reply within 24 hours. Very satisfied with their response and encouraged by their feedback. The more accuracy you provide, the better the app will be. Miles ahead of most other camping apps.

Best travel tool I’ve used. Have used wiki to work out our travel plans, where to go, stay and what to do. Plus the offline maps track and show you moving along the roads so I was able to use wiki in tandem with the Vic Roads to avoid all the road closures due to flooding (could not work off of the Vic Roads site alone as I had no phone reception while travelling). That was invaluable at that particular point. The reviews have helped us decide what caravan site to stay at and where to stay on the free camping sections. Honestly one of the best travel tools ever in my opinion.

The best app. Been using this app for nearly a year now ... we camp, hunt, abseil, my bike, this app makes it easy to explore any area you want to go into. It’s fantastic and we love it and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the outdoors. My only advice is to take some of the location star ratings with a grain of salt. We have been to some 5 start rated places which we found to be very ordinary and some 2 star places which we found to be some of the best we have seen and we have traveled extensively. Just remember location star rating are an individual preference. But this app is truely excellent I don’t think there is better on the market for the price.

A great travel tool. We have travelled around Australia several times, and found the app to be a “don’t leave home without” tool. Previous books etc are rarely if ever used. It’s main advantage is being able to find free or cheap camp sites which suit our caravan, and at a glance see what facilities or attributes are found there. Filters can be used to only locate a site with a specific feature, such as potable water or toilets. It has a trip planner as well as a satellite finder, and fuel locator too.

Helpful and accessible. I really value Wiki Camps as a easily accessible means to find camp sites and van parks while on the move. The information is generally accurate although is always coloured by people’s opinions and experience. For example what one person may describe as a rough and difficult road another might see as a reasonable gravel road. The ability to see where you are in relation to the actual place you are looking for is invaluable for bush camps where there are a number in close proximity. The reviews are useful if taken on balance, ie don’t just rely on one review but get the majority view by reading several.

Can’t fault this App.. We’ve just spent 10 weeks on the road (mostly outback) with Wikicamps our lifeline! It has everything you need and one of its best features is you don’t need internet to use it. Just download the maps before you head off! While my husband drove I was in charge of tracking our position and finding exactly where the next camp sit was. We referred to everyone else’s reviews all the time. It gives you a good understanding of whether a site will suit you or not. You can even report a site that is incorrect and it gets updated immediately. Well done to the developers.

Hundreds of Thousands of kilometres reliable and current. We have travelled around (including Tasmania), throughout the outback centre and several times a year, up and down the east coast. WikiCamps App, with its descriptive narratives and up to date comments and photographs from fellow travellers, has been a reliable source of information for free camping, accomodation, water supplies, amenities, toilet dumps and “must see/visit” attractions.. oh, and what to avoid.. I have shown and recommended the App to many friends and fellow travellers (the few who didn’t have WikiCamps already) and they have also downloaded and now use the App. Many thanks for such a reliable and helpful “guide/resource”....

Does Everything I Need.. Have been using this app for several years, in fact pretty much since it came out. Each improvement has value and additional functions to make it better or just to smooth things out some more. I find the route planner very helpful. If issues are encountered the black up from staff is always there, usually within 24 hours and always rectify any problem with a smile. Highly recommend this app.

*Wiki Camps*. As a full-time traveller WikiCamps is invaluable for planning my journeys around Australia. I really appreciate the real time reviews and photos that assist me to decide where to go and facilities on offer. I’ve been travelling for 3 years now, and from day 1 it has been my indispensable daily, go-to tool for getting the most out of every place I visit. Well done WikiCamps, you’ve helped us all transition from old school cumbersome maps to highly effective digital travel! Thank you Shrimpy2 The ManintheBlackVan

Top App and Outstanding Service. We have been using WikiCamps for 5 years and are very happy with it. Not surprisingly our main use is finding camping sites and the filter feature makes that very easy to locate what we are looking for and it is good to read other user’s reviews. We like to free camp when we can but we accept that is not always possible and WikiCamps lets us see the full gamut if available options. We also use Trip Planner and find it a great planning tool. I also like the ability to label sites as favourites. I do not find the crow’s flies distances an issue. After a recent phone update WikiCamps would not update. I contacted WikiCamps and had a total of 3 very quick replies to try to address the situation. Even though it may have been a phone fault they were able to resolve the situation. Amazing service. Thanks WikiCamps.

Happy campers!!. WikiCamps is indispensable if you’re an avid traveller who enjoys the discovery of campgrounds and sightseeing around Australia. The app is super user friendly and contains a ton of information on campgrounds, national parks, places of interest etc. Best of all it’s a community user based app where the information related to campgrounds inc. Fees and facilitates are constantly being updated by the users, with reviews and photos. Furthermore, the geotagging and map locations are spot on with integration with Google Maps, Apple Maps etc. Plus, the information can be saved for offline use. This is very important, considering that some of the most beautiful locations for camping are quite often off limits to mobile phone communication and internet access. Enjoy!!!

I must for any sort of road trip.. We have been using this app for years now and find it great. It’s the first thing we turn to when planning any road trip. Not only is it great for finding a camp site for the night but it also is very useful for finding points of interest in an area where you don’t know what is around. It’s also has many other great places in the map, like dump points and places you can fill up with water, that we have found very helpful since we have started living full time on the road. It also has real reviews by real users in sites which can make the difference when decide between a few places in the same town. Love the app. Highly recommend it.

Great Trip Planner. Used WikiCamps to plan recent 5000km road trip over three weeks, initially sketching out daily travel distances, stopovers & accomodation locations……and then modifying it almost daily as we locked in travel plans each day. Added hotels/motels where used, and relied heavily on the camp site details for camping destinations. Took the stress out of planning & allowed us to make last minute accommodation plans on the day in many cases. Will continue to use it….and enjoy going back and looking at where we stayed & how far we travelled!

Best app purchase EVER. Anyone who ever used this app can agree this is the best app purchase you can do. If you are a casual camper, going on a holiday with the family or full time on the road, this is the BEST thing you can get! The app is great, never had any bugs, helped us find amazing hidden gems and just have a great time travelling with two dogs and working from the car (so good internet required). You can add all sorts of filters and look at other users reviews of the spots, which is great! The offline maps are also great, which allows us to find the spots when there’s no internet.

Great app but a few little things to fix up. Such a good app for plannings trips with loads of spots and comments from people. There are a couple of little things that I’d love to see addressed for example - When planning a trip, once you add a stop and set the date, it would be great if the app remembered that date, then when adding the next stop it continues to the next day rather than reverting back to a random date years ago - An option to add up total fees for said caravan parks over a trip (like with fuel). Overall a great app and I’m hoping a few off these things will be looked into 😁

My WIKI love affair. I have been using WIKI for I think 12 years and each year travel around Australia I think approx 20,000 Kilometres plus, I have had I believe 3 upgrades. Each upgrades have been sensational and helpful. WIKI keep on doing what your doing it’s the best in Australia 🇦🇺. No where else can you get reviews, pictures, full descriptions of camps sites, including pet friendly, where you can get 💦 water goes on and on including Maps when driving to destination, showing Free Camping and National Parks, what other gives you all of this on Phone or iPad. Oh cost so cheap, to the whinging idiots get a life and stop complaining WIKI is my bible on the road. Keep improving I love having you on my journey thanks again.🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

Trip planner invaluable. We are on our big trip, and the trip planner has been awesome, I am planning about a fortnight ahead, I read reviews and make a selection on those recommendations, add it to the trip planner, then add a note with what facilities are available at site, if potable water etc. I find it has been great to add to those notes about when we need to ensure we fill up our water. We are mixing our stopovers between Caravan Parks and free camps, so that ability to plan ahead has been invaluable.

Bit disappointed with offline content.. After purchasing this app for a trip around Queensland , hoping to be able to read up on our next destination as we went. We were disappointed to find that when this app is offline without connection to internet, the data for each campsite was so old as to be useless. The most recent details and reviews were from 2018. Some sites had changed completely from their old reviews and data. But as soon as we reconnected to internet, the reviews and details were up to date… not ver helpful at all. Eventually resorted to not using WikiCamps and just ringing ahead or turning up to check out a site. Thanks wiki camps

Great Support. Great app. I love this app. We have been using it now for about two years and recently had a problem when it upgraded and I had to login back in and my password didn’t work because I had changed emails and I forgot my password. Thanks to Russell who was just fantastic helped me get the problem sorted. It took a couple of emails back and forth but I couldn’t fault the service He responded with in hours and was eve so great to all of my requests. Only have good things to say about this app and especially about the service I have received. Thanks WikiCamps.

Must have app for grey nomads. The app was recommended to us by friends when we bought our caravan. We would not leave home without it. It has helped us spend nights in beautiful, safe and quiet bush camps, find magic little gems of country caravan parks and avoid the extortionate rates of some major centre van parks. We can ignore the overly glowing reviews and the world’s worst whingers complaining about a spider in the showers and let the majority of happy campers guide us in our travels. Has saved us the cost of the app many, many times over.

Peer to Peer Reviews. Wikicamps is superb where one can read the reviews of various places. One can easily get a sense of a venue. If there is one negative comment amongst many positive comments, then the venue more than likely will be acceptable. You have the ability to agree with a comment or disagree with a comment. I love the co-ordinate system which seems to be more accurate than addresses with my particular GPS. And of course, it is a wiki, which means people can make edits to a site including the co-ordinates. I have modified the co-ordinates a couple of times as they were not quite correct and one venue has been closed by the local governmental authorities.

Minor improvements needed. Love the app for planning travels. One thing I would like is for the ratings and reviews sections to be combined as some people forget to rate and just review. Also a separate questions section would be good for those who are writing questions in the reviews section. Another thing that would be great is when zooming in on POI or sites the name/rating/photo could pop up, so you don't need to click on each one to find out whether or not you would like more info. I would also love if the POI could be categorised further, often I'm looking for attractions in a town and come across lots of them that are just services such as where parking is or a laundromat, public toilets etc. I don't see these as points of interest.

Must have for campers!!!. Have been using this app for many years now and it is absolutely indispensable during my campervan trips. It is also getting better all the time with new features added like offline map...etc etc. The comments and ratings given by other travellers are invaluable!! I have tried many other similar apps and nothing else even come close. It is even better than many well known travelling/camp guidebooks as it is constantly being updated by users. Just get it!!!

Great App. Fantastic app for finding whatever you needed camping wise. Filter is great to zone in on your requirements. Trip planner is great along with the ability to download maps offline. The ability to export and share your travels with family and friends is also a great feature. I also like the sorting pin option to get in idea the distance between places of interest that you might like to stop at. Great to also read the reviews (and leave a review for updated info for others) of camp sites and look at photos. Love this app. Very cheap considering we use it multiple times a day.

Awesome. This App is extremely helpful, now that we have worked out how to use it. We are very new to Caravaning, having just purchased our first van. We have had three short trips away (last one was cut short due to the Cyclonic weather hitting the East Coast of Australia). However we are currently planning a trip down though Victoria, South Australia & back along the Murray & we have used WikiCamps to plan our stop overs. Find the Comment section very helpful, but a lot of places have no comments added as yet. I do plan to make comments on all our stays. And hope to see more people using this tool.

Worth it!. This was an incredible resource. Would highly recommend anyone! Well organized and straightforward to use.

Awesome app!!!. Wasn't sure if the app would be worth the price...it IS!! We've been using it on our epic 7 week road trip & it has saved us $$ by having all rv parks listed. Calling ahead we compared prices & snagged some great deals! The mapping works well & the suggestions for scenic picture locations is great. Can't recommend it enough!

Would highly recommend. We travel and find sites with this app Much like camps 8 book. But with pics and reviews

Needs update. Not optimized for iPhone 6, some free apps has sites that are missing,... Non free apps need updates.

Thx wikicamps. Love this app. Tells me everything I need to know with little pictures. Thank you wikicamps

Well worth the purchase. So worth the buy. User-generated in-app comments are also very handy, especially in terms of finding those hidden, out-of-the-way gems. Lots of free camping about, we made back in one night of free camping for the purchase of the app. N'urries! As they say.

Great resource!. Use the app often. Wish the symbols could be a bit more descriptive (ie the “water pin” is for toilets, drinking water, showers, water fountains, etc. so when I’m looking for drinking water, I need to look at ALL water pins around to hopefully find one)

Well worth your $5!. Never buy apps, but this one is worth it, so easy to search for camping and amenities such as fresh water fillips and dump points. Highly recommend:)

Great app. Very complete. Well worth the investment. The user ratings and photos are imo what makes the app so great

Must have for travelers. If you are traveling Australia on the cheap, this is a must. It’s also great for finding hidden gems and other necessities. Good times!

Unreal. Travelled Tasmania for a few weeks and this app had every place to stay. Currently travelling WA and again so many options and detail. Great app!
