Educational Fun (gasp!). I did not know it was possible for an educational app to be fun! In this app you can create up or 5 adorable characters, and you can create inventions, complete levels, and go through a basic unit. The levels range from do almost nothing easy, to super strategic hard. This is one of the best apps I have ever used

Space audio keeps playing. I was in space and when I closed the project the music kept playing.

Another awesome app by these makers. These apps are simple enough for kids to use by themselves, and learn a ton, but also challenging enough to keep an adults attention. I had fun playing this, and I haven't even shown my kids yet. It is always worth the money to buy this app makers apps! W love them!

Monster physics is fun. I like monster physics because you can build your own inventions and not just the missions. You can learn how things work with different inventions. I wish that we could team up with other players.

Super fun. Super smart.. Both my kids (girl, 8 years old, and boy, 11 years old) love this app. And, they really like sharing their creations with each other. It is really well constructed, and easy to use. It is as simple or complex as you want into be, and has a huge range of play (learning).

It's a good game. The changes should be bigger space to play on and should be able to put more than just 50 parts it should be endless parts

DRP Rocks!. When I saw the name of the developer I didn't even think twice about buying this app. All of his apps are big hits with my family. Kids aged 5-13, Dad and Mom. He hits all the subjects that are weak spots in a regular public school education. I can't get my husband off this app. I played for a couple of hours without realizing how fast time when by. 3 out of 4 idevices in our house have been playing this app since I bought it. It teaches the physics in a way that just makes it intuitive. And I swear the monster looks apprehensive when you make questionable structures. Not sure how he knows he's about to get creamed, but he does. Yeah Dan! Can you do Chemistry next?

We need more build limits!. I use this game a lot but it has its problems. The build limit is way too low, I get it might lag if it had more then 50 limit but we can’t build complex things freely

Physics Made Fun!!. My 8 yr old twins love this app, they have had it for several years and are still very much engaged.

So I just solved the mystery of perpetual motion…. I’ve been playing since I was 8 or 9, and 8 years later, I accidentally made a perpetual motion machine. I tried making a manually combusting single cylinder engine with a motorized start that would disconnect from the cylinder after starting. The start sequence was a little too overpowering, so I had to triple-hinge the cylinder, and because the hinges are placed ever so slightly off from each other, the elastic torques cause the cylinder to perpetually power itself until the piston breaks off, and the wheel it was connected to accelerates to around 1000rpm and never stops until I end the simulation. Pretty sure the solution is to decrease the power of the start system so I don’t have to triple-hinge the cylinder, but I think what I have now is much more interesting that intended. And this is still one of my favorite educational games I have ever played.

A awesome game!. I am seven and I love this game. I like figuring out what to do in different situations. Some levels you need to complete by putting away the stuff the monster doesn't like and giving him the stuff he does like. He likes fruit and vegetables but not metal, rubber bands and buttons.

Exceptional. Have a 9yr old with severe ADHD/Aspergers and he thoroughly enjoys this game. Asks to "play" it as soon as he wakes up in the morning and before he has to go to bed in the evening. We homeschool and this has been a wonderful addition to our curriculum. Definitely has also improved his self esteem, has he can't wait to show off his inventions/missions to friends/family. Thank you!

Great beginning physics game. My 3 year old loves this game. He needs some help with the reading but other than that he can play it. So I can recommend this as a teaching tool for parents who will be able to play with their young kids.

Higher part limit!!!. Make the part limit like 125 or something!!! Please

Great creative fun!. I think I would really like this app myself, if only I could get the iPad away from the kids for more than two seconds. Ever since I got this app a few weeks ago the kids can't get enough of it. Whenever I try to build something with it, I can only get so far before it gets ripped away from me so they can make some "improvements" to the design.

It's fun!. It's fun to make inventions and contraptions on the build button. Some of the missions are fun and if you find one to be hard just keep trying and you'll figure out a way to do it.

Awesome. I can't believe my son who just turned 4 two weeks ago is talking about motor joints and loose joints! He loves this app and looks for real world applications all day long. Our whole family loves it. I wish he couldn't solve so many challenges with cannons.

We need more build items. The game is fun but we need more build items.

Can you add landing legs?. So I had trouble making legs for my rocket so I could land.. I could really do it. Could you add landing legs? How it works: Add it at the bottom of a rocket and if pressed it will extend acting like landing legs for a rocket

Bad. Can’t even create what I wanted with 50 pieces. AND ITS A GAME FIR 3 YEAR OLDS, PEOPLES.

Great fun. The challenge area provided by the game could have more levels, but my kids and I have more fun building our own challenges and solutions or simply building machines that fly, drive, rocket, or hover. Some of the results are purely hilarious. Our next move is to build machines to challenge or fight each other on the page. I would love to see the ability to work on a larger area of movement and ability to interact with a friend over wifi.

Eh.... I’m currently 13 and have played this since I was In about 1st grade. It was always fun to an extent but the 2 dimensional physics limit me from making about 60% of my ideas. Now I play games that are 3 dimensional and have the ability to actually measure the pieces to replicate the same pieces. The welding physics are annoying too.

Neat idea, Faulty execution. Neat idea but the mechanics of connecting the parts is buggy to put it mildly and the physics are flawed.

Why is this mission Broken?. So, why is Obstacle Course Broken? So when i tried to place 1 Block, it was fine. But When i tried to place the second block, It only let me place one. Either this was a mistake from me, or you just had some problems coding this. but if you do fix this, It would help a lot!

Fantastic. Even though the graphics seem to be centered around the tastes of kids, this is a first rate physics toy. Interface is perfect, behaviors are excellent. The author should implement an infinite "space region" and a wrap-around horizontal work space so that the user never goes off screen. Airplane simulations are near pointless without such a feature.

Great physics tool, need content creation!. This a very fun and occasionally challenging app even for adults! As a science teacher, I could see this as a great way to introduce physics concepts and let the students experiment and discover the laws of physics on their own. If there was a level-builder so I could make challenges (bonus assignments) for the kids, I'd buy this app for all my kids! Well done!

I love this game!. They had it on the school iPads when I was in elementary school, and that's where I first discovered it. It's a super fun edutainment game that brings back tons of nostalgia and has aged pretty well over the years!

Steep learning curve. And I do mean steep. The tutorials are not sufficient, be prepared for quite a bit of frustration from your child. That spilled over to the adults in this house, too. I tried to help my boy create a simple two wheeled self-propelled vehicle, which came across as a 2-step, 2-second endeavor in the tutorial. 10 minutes of floundering, and we managed to get one wheel to spin. Once. But it wasn’t attached to the chassis, though the tutorial implied it should have been. Skip this.

Super game!. Surprised this game hasn't had more reviews. If you like to build, enjoy physics based games, and solve puzzles this is the game for you! My boys have been playing none stop! 10 stars from me. Keep up the great work!

Awesome. I love this game some times it gets annoying because it’s not very capable of very advanced but that doesn’t stop me I have three characters all maxed out at the 99 creations mostly full of weird physics testing and experimenting for future creations and the rest are very well working planes and my awesome collections of working helicopter and you can’t forget the working suspension systems I’ve made that work on heavy planes and light cars

Great teaching app!. Can build things as fast as they can be imagined. Great for budding engineers! Only wish it had an undo button because sometimes I move things accidentally. Also would be nice to share inventions with friends.

Amazing app - hours of complete fun and learning!. Like all of Dan's other amazing iPad apps, Monster Physics creates an immersive and fun environment for exploring a topic. My 4 year old love this app and has already started mastering some fundamental physics concepts that I didn't learn until late in my high school career. Definitely get this app (and Dan's other apps if you haven't already done so).

Great thinking app. Everyone in my family plays this and is very challenging, but very rewarding. I had 2 years of physics and am 38 but still get stuck on some.

Good just missing a few things. The game is awesome but i would like to have a function that made things go up and down and have a button that can control multiple things simultaneously. Lastly, I would like there to be the ability to listen to music while building

Nailed it!!!. Honestly, an app as great as this, I would've paid $20 for! After my years-long and exhaustive search for a decent physics simulator, I can now consider the proverbial nail to have been hit squarely on the head! I eagerly look forward to what MP will evolve into in the future! Keep your eye on kids that are in love with this app, future engineers, all, is my bet!

Best game ever!! Please read to the end. Yes, I know this game is for younger people then me, but this game is AWESOME! One suggestion I want to make, is an expansion to the world, maybe even planets you can fly to. You should add pistons that can push and pull objects for blast doors, ramps, and so much more. Another thing is a suction cup, that can hold on to things, but releases at a certain amount of pull, and the release amount can be toggled. Another thing is better stabilizers, sometimes the stabilizers just aren't good enough for the weight and movement speed of my creation. Please consider these suggestions😀

LOVE Dan Pinson!!!. I will buy anything this man does. My 4-year old loves everything he's put out. He FAR surpasses my knowledge of USA states and countries of the world. He actually had an argument with his 43 year old aunt who insisted that Saudi Arabia was in Africa. Not so, says my boy. Actually it's in Asia. Face the cold hard fact that you're wrong, says Auntie. But thanks to Daniel Pinson, my son knew enough to correct his usually very clever Auntie. I have nothing but RAVE reviews for this guy. Buy his stuff YESTERDAY.

Great!!!. One of the best kids apps we've found. My kids (6 & 9) can't get enough of this. After completing all the missions I thought they might tire of it, but they LOVE creating their own inventions and saving & naming them all. I like that it challenges them to think spatially, consider cause & effect,etc. My 6-yr-old has one suggestion for your next update: add a spring to the building supplies.

My 9 year old ASKED me to rate this.. My 5 year old and 9 year old ADORE this app!!!! As one of those geeky, you need to be learning from your play mothers I love that this app is teaching lessons that we can build on later. Hands down my favorite app designer. All his stuff rocks. Buy this app and your kids will be entertained and educated for hours.

Really really fun. Most fun I've had in a long time. I've been searching for 2 years for this kind of app. Needs some hints for missions, and you could make some cash of of selling them. Definitely the best dollar I've spent since plants vs zombies!!

Buy ANYTHING by this developer!!. I have 6 kids, ages 3- 11. My kids love this app! It keeps them occupied for hours (if I let them stay on it that long)! And they're actually learning the whole time. We also bought Stack the States, Stack the Countries, and Presidents Vs. Aliens... LOVE THEM ALL! I turned my kids teachers on to his apps and they love them too! Can't say enough good things, just waiting on the next genius one he comes out with.

Bad ending. I LOVE the app, although if you name a invention a bad word, it does not # or * so plz make it do that.

Terrific app... 6 yo kids love it.. I saw the title and it looked like a winner. We have 6 yo kids and they have done all kids of crazy contraptions with it. I have made some pretty cool ones to experiment. Very easy for the kids to learn. They build simple ones and are ow putting rockets and motors and go into space. Pretty cool and would say buy it to anyone with a kid who likes to imagine and build.

Brilliant game. I don't spend much time rating apps, but this game is truly fantastic. My six year old loves to build with Legos, Magnaformers, Tinker Toys, etc and this app basically captures the essence of all of the building toys we used while growing up and takes them to a whole new level. It allows imaginations to run wild and requires some thought in the process. Brilliant game!

Awesome!. I’ve been getting advanced and making working shotguns, RPGs, tanks that fire bombs, morters, and even a nuke that launches from space! The skies the limit for sure! Except for the fact that you can only have 50 parts in an invention.

Best game on my ipad. This game is totally awesome. It is equally fun for adults as it is for kids. There is room however for improvement, such as a copy feature, rotating objects 90 degrees and a reset button for the missions, in case you want to scrap an idea. Still, the awesomeness of the game merits 5 stars. Missions can be redone in an attempt to find another solution to solve the problem/puzzle. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes games that sparks your creativity.

Amazing Little Game!. I used to play this a ton when I was little! It's fun, it mixes in a bit of learning, and most importantly, it makes use of the creative part of your mind, unlike some other addicting games. It's impressive that it has somewhat realistic yet lag-free physics on really old devices! I love this game, and I think it's totally worth the $6.

Complete waste of time and money. Have to create a monster before you can do anything. Unfortunately, on my iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air, and iPad 2, all running iOS 8.3, any buttons on he right half of the screen are completely nonfunctional, including the "Save" button. What this means is that my son got all excited at the prospect of enjoying this app, but was very frustrated to begin with as a result of this problem, and then disappointed. He got over it pretty quickly though, so there is value in this app in that teaches a life lesson about not everything in this world going perfectly according to plan. However, I could have used one of the tons of crappy free apps to achieve teaching the same life lesson to my child. I don't need to spend money for that, like I did for this app. Dev: You should be more proactive with fixing your app, or re-list as free. Absolutely shameful.

The claw. It’s good but when you try to colour the claw the colour is only on the top part not the bottom

Just maybe add a couple new things to play with and invent with because I've had this game for a year and never had a update for it, just wondering if you guy could add some more stuff to make it more fun and interesting. Highly recommend all apps from this dev. We started with the lite version and it held my kids attention for many months. They leave it and come back to it over and over and have learned a lot and very easily. No problems with it on iPod 3 or iPad 2

Awesome!. This is a very cool game geared to kids for learning simple physics. My 4 year old loves it! The only suggestion I have is adding voice overs for the instructions for those too young yet to read. Otherwise totally awesome!!!

Good for the whole family. My husband, myself and my sons, age 7 and 6, really like this app. It's fun to see everyone come up with a different solution to the same challenge. My youngest, 3, likes to change her monster all the time and just add random parts.

Great play and learning tool. I downloaded this app for my son who is 7, it is very tough to find apps for his age. I find they are either to childish or to advanced for him. This is no exception, it is a little advanced but he can play it with a little help and he loves it. The concepts are simple enough for him to understand what to don but complex enough to challenge an adult to think about how to solve the problem. I'd like to see more puzzles and maybe even an option for there to be more explanations and guidelines about what to do so he would learn a little more instead of just launching a rocket to solve it. Overall, great app for kids of all ages and really starts a love for physics early. I look forward to more apps like this one.

So much fun to learn with Monster Physics. Even my six year old has been consumed by this app. She is loving this and does extra chores to earn iPad minutes so can play longer.

Grate app. This is a grate app but it would be so much better with a better user-interface such as different layers, better "fingering motions", and AN OPTION to make an average Looking player

Really good. I love this game. It is still hard for my 4 year old. But we get a kick playing together and he can do a few simple things himself.

Excellent Learning App. My kids aged 7 and 4 love this app. My 4 year old though outside the box and used a cannon instead of a magnet for one challenge. What a fun toy and educational tool. Bravo!

Another amazing Dan game. My sons couldn't put it down to go to bed, and I stayed up until 1am finishing missions. The physics of the game pieces are incredibly well done.

Great learning fun!. My 5 year old loves it, and it gives me a chance to introduce many new science vocabulary words. But the real kicker is I'm addicted too.

Ok. I'm a lot older than the game says for and a top student in physics so I got the game just to see what it was. I got it and got through most of it but I am stuck at one of the parts because Most of the things don't have anything to do with physics what so ever. But I do love the adorable monsters:)

Glitches. Can't play since last update. This game worked fine before we did the recent update. Now we can't move past the "build monster screen". I hope that either this gets fixed, or they will refund my money. Otherwise they stole my money.

Good start and a lot of fun. But needs an update and more puzzles and content.

Needs fixing. I just started toying with this app 10 minutes ago. At the moment the screen is 3/4 black; the object I was building the other 1/4 of the screen. It won't budge. The 10 minutes were engaging enough before I had to leave but for the now frozen and useless screen I give this app 1 star.

Monster Physics Fans. This is an excellent educational app. My 8 year old son (and his dad) love it. It really makes him think about how to make his inventions work. Great app!

My 5 and 10 year olds love it!. They create and do nearly anything they can think of. They are amazed, entertained, engaged and I think even educated! Now if Dan would make a CHEMISTRY game... That'd be awesome!
