The Week Has Followed all Other Media Off s Cliff. The Week used to be a fantastic publication. It was actually well balanced. Ever since a certain election in 2016 though, the Week began a steep nose dive where they followed other news outlets on a hard bank to the left. Now it is literally just another talking head for the all woke, no joke media. Obviously, they are going to remind people of other publications since it is literally a synopsis of other publications. However, leftist sources are now quoted seemingly four times for every one moderate or conservative publication. Sadly, I just said goodbye to my subscription after twelve mostly good years as a reader (well probably only eight of those years were good). Maybe if they ever grow a pair and stop throwing up their hands to the woke digital lynch mob I will consider resubscribing. Unfortunately, the more likely outcome is that I will be called a bigot because I don’t want to read their propaganda anymore. Either way, I’m not subscribing to crap that claims to be balanced and instead rams a partisan line down my throat.

Long downhill slide has hit bottom. I have been reading The Week for at least 10 years now. It used to be a great magazine- introduce a topic, then present viewpoints from both political sides. Quote The NY Times, The Washington Post, then The Wall Street and National Review. Unfortunately , it’s gone the way of most of the US media, with a very strong left-leaning slant. Now quote 3 or 4 mainstream, left-wing news sources, then one token conservative one(if that). In addition, the material presented by the magazine itself has gone completely left-sided. It’s too bad. I always liked getting both sides of the story and then making my own decisions. Now The Week feel that it is simply there to tell me what to think. Probably won’t renew my subscription.

New app version is AWFUL!. A cardinal rule when updating software is NOT TO REMOVE FEATURES THAT ARE HELPFUL! With your recent update, you removed the text to speech option! THIS WAS MY FAVORITE FEATURE! I don’t have time to read The Week cover to cover but I do love listening to it when I work out. Now I can’t do this. I even participated in a focus group for The Week a few months ago when you were testing out the new daily content. One of the things I REPEATED AGAIN AND AGAIN was how much I like the text to speech. After 14+ years as a subscriber, you’ve lost me. I’ll be canceling my subscription. Slap the knuckleheaded kindergarteners who “redesigned” your app. It’s a glorified PDF and it is an inferior product.

Great news source, great app. I’ve been reading The Week for over 20 years now, first in print, and now online and print. The app is great and gives me everything the print issue does and more. I’m very happy I got the print plus digital subscription. I often switch between the two, depending on my mood. At heart, I’m a traditionalist and prefer print/paper. But The Week’s app is very well done and they make it easy and appealing to read their stuff online. I especially like the daily digests, which I read each morning to keep up with what’s going on in the world.

Actual Real & Balanced Coverage. I’ve been getting The Week for about 15 years. It’s a great supplement to news you get from other sources. Why? They have no sponsors to cow-tow to and they cover every issue using reportage from a full range of publications—from far left to far right. They cover both national and international news in a pithy yet complete way, making it an easy magazine to get through quickly and one that leaves you in the know. The digital version also keeps you up to date daily with its 10 Things To Know Today feature sent by email. Also—their editorials are all thought-provoking. It's a must read for me every week!

Love The Week, but disappointed. I look forward every week to the arrival of The Week. I find articles informative, interesting and concise. I have subscribed for many years. I am really disappointed in how very very expensive a subscription has become. My husband and I use to gift subscriptions to family and friends, but WAY out price range now. Having second thoughts about our yearly subscription too

Dissapointed. Have been reading this mag for years as it’s the best I’ve ever found for concise summation of competing perspectives of the news that mattered. Have subscribed for years and now print+digital, but it pains me to say the app for those digital subscribers is failing us. Unreliable, glitchy, limited control features to view/read the weekly issue on digital. I mean this week issue that should have been available midnight Friday still hasn’t loaded on this broken app. The picture of the cover of new issue is there but opens last weeks issue. We deserve a better app for the cost is all I’m sayin.

Changes to APP are Bad. After spending time with this APP I can now read one page per screen but it is not the same as the previous version. What happened to notifying customers about such changes before they are made? If the new upgrade coming soon does not make the APP better I like many others will cancel my subscription. How about more information on when this upgrade is coming?

10 Things page display error. On iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16.1 The last two lines on the daily 10 Things news list are blocked by a bottom-of-page ad border (or something). To get the page to fully display, must rotate display to landscape, scroll to the bottom (still blocked here), then re-rotate to portrait and re-scroll to bottom of page.

Sudoku?. I always read a soft-copy of The Week. I particularly enjoy Mr. Falk’s editorials. If you could figure out how to automate Sudoku and the crossword puzzle via an app, or coordinating with some other app vendors, I would gladly give you 5 stars and save the world of one more thrown-away mag every week. And maybe you give me a discount as well?

Excellent content, but some access issues. I have enjoyed print subscription for a few years, but I have had some difficulty with accessing the online Week. It does not say anywhere whether print includes online or not. The online site can’t give any details. Subscription offers also do not clarify this. Wonder why they can’t clarify this simple thing. Lately I have accessed the online magazine, though occasionally access log-in has been complicated and frustrating. As far as magazine’s content is concerned it is excellent. We look forward to every issue and do read it regularly. One other problem of note is that there are usually some delays in receiving the print issues. I think it is probably a fault of the magazine itself since I don’t have similar problem with other subscriptions. Maybe the Postal Service is partly to blame. That has been a little sore point of this subscription.

Please don’t change for the sake of change. This latest “update” removes the daily news briefing as well as makes the digital version much more clumsy than the previous one. Please bring back the daily news briefing, and revert to the previous version Also, having the page over the text just blocks it, please revert to the older version.

Editors edit thyself. I also read Time magazine each week. The stories are too long and are politically one-sided. I became so disenchanted that I cancelled my subscription, but they still send the the electronic edition each week (probably to satisfy their advertisers.) I like The Week for its conciseness and presenting all sides of an issue.

Great content, crappy app. I love the pro/con views provided on the issues. Unfortunately, the app decides after about the 3 or 4th time to not download anymore. I have to delete and reinstall to get it to work. A bit of a pain in the rear. The app is constantly breaking down.

I love the actual magazine, but not the digital one. I signed up for my favorite source of news. I thought I would be in heaven, but when I saw how there was no way to opt out from their security practices unless you live in California. I quickly cancelled my order. Listen up, they claim the right to sell all your information and they target ads at their discretion. Take it or leave it - I decided to leave it.

The magazine is great. The app is horrible.. I subscribe to the digital version of the magazine and the app is horrible. I have Mac iOS 15.7. Every single week it takes dozens of times to get to the current issue. I never know whether or not I will get to read it. So far this week I haven’t been able to open it. Sometimes the new issue will show up but I can’t turn the page. Usually I can’t get to the new issue at all. I prefer the digital edition but if I can’t read it it’s pointless. Every week I’ve been able to eventually read it but it’s a time consuming and stressful process to get to the point when I can. I haven’t been able to get in yet this week. it shouldn’t be this difficult or difficult at all.

New iPad app is a ZERO star. I love The Week, but I’m seriously considering cancelling my subscription due to the horrid new iPad app. They had a perfectly fine app, but some clever bunny in the Digital Dept. decided to inflict “change for change sake” and totally screwed it up. Now we have a PDF version of the print magazine, which is blurry and total CRAP!! It’s been several weeks since this debacle, and I’m really puzzled about why they didn’t just “turn back time” and go back to the prior version of the app. Time is ticking before I cancel my subscription.

Don’t waste your money. I was an avid reader of The Week for over 10 years. Have recently cancelled my subscription, however, due to the absolutely awful digital app. It is unreadable. Simply taking a pdf of your print magazine and throwing it up on your iPad or phone so one has to pinch and zoom to read an article is the definition of laziness. What bothers me the most is since I have cancelled I have been getting emails to renew and in these emails they boast “Try our newly enhanced digital subscription….” They had it right before their “upgrade”. Don’t waste your money.

Digital. I always enjoyed The Week but read the digital issues since I travel alot. Suddenly, I could no longer get the digital issues ....I tried to get help via customer support but there was no response.....so I let my subscription expire.

Terrible Customer service. I’ve subscribed to the Week US for years. I read it at night using night mode. Recently the app stopped supporting night mode - when I reached out to customer service about this they closed my ticket and told me to reach out to the Week UK support team even though I am US based with a US subscription. Clearly, this apps customer service just closes tickets with whatever reasons they can think of.

Great perspectives. I’ve read the WEEK since its inception. For a person with a busy career it give me a glimpse into all the pressing issues and the different views. I love the addition of TV, Move, Tech and many other sections. I also like the daily topics. Keep it up!

New app is horrible. I am frustrated, mad, and entirely disappointed in the new app from The Week. Every day I used to easily get to my daily 10, and then I would move on to reading articles in the magazine. Now, the app is completely inconsistent in taking me to the 10… Rather directing me to UK content, treating me like I am not a subscriber by not remembering that I’m logged in, and generally very hard to navigate whether using nav stack or app icons at bottom of page. In addition, all pages are covered with so many ads - you can barely read the content. So disappointing. Why am I paying for a digital subscription? I don’t know. I am likely to cancel.

To the point. I don’t have time to read long articles, even though they are likely well written. The Week does the heavy lifting and distills the salient points from several and opposing perspectives. We live in an ambiguous world. The Week doesn’t change that, but helps to fill in some missing pieces.

Best magazine ever!. This is the only news magazine, or magazine of any kind, I make the time to read from cover to cover. It’s interesting to read what columnists over the world are writing about. I especially like the mostly non-partisan slant The Week attempts, even though our president probably considers it Fake News as well. I can’t imagine not being a subscriber and I try to gift the free subscription to a different person every year - they all love reading it! Great job!

Digital changes awful. I have subscribed to The Week for years and have used the digital version for some time. Recently they “updated” the app. It basically is the paper magazine scanned. No matter how much I zoom and move it around, I can not read the material. I contacted customer service and was told they were working on it. I see no changes after 2 weeks. If this continues I will cancel my subscription. I will hate doing that because I really look forward to reading this each week

Recent update messed up the app. The recent update to the app has messed up the font size. It is not stable, and changes from page to page. Former app allowed one to select font size and keep the same through the read. The Week content is great, app needs work.

The Week. Really enjoy being able to get the latest issue no matter where I am. I like the print version too but the App really helps in many ways when I don't want to carry the extra weight. I really like the broad spectrum international focus. It is like the biological abstracts I use that allows a brief update and the info I need to go into detail on a topic if I would like too.

More Datelines, clearer navigation needed. While the content is good, the navigation needs attention. It’s never clear where you are when you click on an article to read it: You could be in the current issue or in a past issue - there are no datelines on anything to tell you when the content on your screen was written or in which issue it was published. It’s also difficult to figure out the navigation on the app since there, well, isn’t any. Click on an article an boop! There you are, great, but no indication how to get back nor forward. Really a disappointingly not-well-thought out app from an otherwise intelligent publication.

App glitches every several months and it’s so frustrating. On the one hand I thoroughly enjoy Reading the Week, and the improved App is pretty good and easy to use. ON THE OTHER HAND, despite having an ongoing paid one full subscription for years, every several months I can’t access my issues and it asks me to subscribe or pay. I AM subscribed and therefore don’t have to pay, so let me download my issues. It must be an upgrade glitch but it happens far too often.

Get the news from all sides. Find out how and why the other side, be they Republicans, Democrats or Independents, views the top issues in the news. Understanding the other side gets one a bit closer to dealing with it. Step out of your comfort zone and find out the ways the rest of the World is suffering. You will appreciate your Country more. Learn about interesting people who have recently passed away. Looking for a good book to read this week? Laugh over a genius political cartoon that says it all AND makes you think. Read a clever quote from someone you know or wish you knew more about. See descriptions and pictures of beautiful homes on the market that you will be glad you will never have to clean because they will be out of your price range. Take, THE WEEK, rolled up in your bag or briefcase or read it online from your computer, tablet or phone during breaks in a busy day. Stop being blind to the wonderful and not so wonderful things going on all over the place. Learn something and get interested in something outside of yourself just by reading, THE WEEK, every week.

New update ruins everything!. I love this magazine. At home or on the road I read it with my iPad. The new update displays the print articles instead of the easy to read digital article format. I just want to be able to read the articles in the previous format. And I want the feature of the top latest news that i read every morning to be restored. How did the manage to screw this up so throughly? This is very frustrating and I miss the old format. RA

The Week is great! The app is less so…. This is not a critique on the magazine at all. I love the magazine and was thrilled when I saw there was a mobile option. The problem, however, is that app is not the most user friendly. The app is really glitchy and crashes often. The app also doesn’t refresh by itself, so you have to constantly quit out of the app to get new daily articles. Finally, there are just a few other small glitches, like being unable to scroll sometimes, that get me a tad frustrated. I’d suggest investing a little bit into some UX/UI.

A satisfying voice. We have subscribed to The Week since, I believe, shortly after it began publication. It seems to present both sides of the story, with articles and opinions sharing our admittedly leftist views and also those from the other side. It probably is a magazine more attuned to us liberals, but consider it a counterbalance to the Fox Newsers, who probably don’t read much anyway.

The Week is the greatest! Service not as much.. I've been reading The Week in both print and digital form for years. I enjoy the mix of news and other features. When it first went to digital, it was a bit buggy and it would occasionally shut down and need a reboot. For a long time now, however, using an iPad, when opening the app to read the daily update, the current day isn’t available. You need to either shut down and reboot the device, or delete and reinstall the app (which deletes your customer info). This happens at least two or more times a week. It is completely unacceptable. It happens to no other app I’ve ever used. Yes, the magazine is one of the best for fairly balanced news reporting, but it needs to work all the time to be truly great.

Fair and Balanced. These days, when one of our national political parties brands any news it doesn’t like as “fake“, it is enlightening to see a magazine publish excerpts from news articles and opinion pieces from across the country taking into account myriad viewpoints. I may not agree with the editorial content of the National Review or the Wall Street Journal, but it’s at least nice to know what they’re saying and why. The Week is my irreplaceable “go to” source to catch up on the weekly news.

Love The Week - they ruined the app. What did you do? I love reading The Week for a balanced run down of the events. It has been my go to, avoiding cable news, for years. My iPad, a cup of coffee and its a great morning. By now only showing a pdf of the print version, it’s much harder to read with some blurry text articles, and having to zoom in and out. Is this to cut costs? Please go back to a tablet version, or give me a choice. The update is hard to read and makes The Week far less enjoyable.

Mobile App Needs Work. Love the magazine and get it in print, but the app needs to offer greater functionality for phones. I shouldn’t have to pinch, zoom and scroll to read an article. Read mode would be a good start! The magazine doesn’t fill the screen like a made-for-mobile app should. It feels like a desktop browser on my phone and that’s the worst kind of mobile app!!

Just the correct amount.. The Week has the perfect quantity of information to keep you well informed on a wide variety of issues. Its coverage is balanced and concise. You are encouraged to draw your own conclusions. And it does this efficiently.

Where’s my review. I wrote a review several days ago but have yet to see it posted. ? So I repeat— Agree with prior reviews that the PDF format is a step backwards. But my main complaint is with customer service. I changed to a digital only subscription last year after we had unreliable postal delivery. This new update logged me out and I had to fax proof of subscription receipts in order to get back on. Customer service twice directed me to zinio app support who longer contracts with the magazine. Not sure if I will renew. Update. There appears to be no progress in repairing this horrible update. While I like the magazine’s content, I cancelled my subscription today.

Can’t access current issue through app. The Week is great. What is the point of being a subscriber if I can’t view the current issue through the app? I’m signed into the app with my subscriber number and cannot see content and they’re asking me to purchase or subscribe. I’ve subscribed to The Week forever, probably 10 years. The app has always dropped my account info and made me go through hoops to reconnect.

Wonderful Content, Horrible App Upgrade. Latest version does not scale to screen size on iPhone, rendering the content essentially unreadable. Unless this issue is resolved by the developer, will need to discontinue my subscription. Update Ok, so I gave the app another try on my iPad and found by complete accident that if you click on the image of an individual article on a page it does expand to the screen size of the device, rendering it completely readable. Subsequent articles are then also expanded to that format. I can’t imagine that I am the only person who will be baffled by this curious UI choice. Why this is not the default setting for the app (as opposed to initially viewing an image of the paper magazine in layout view) is inexplicable and entirely unintuitive. You might consider implementing an app change to make expanded article view the default to eliminate confusion among your subscribers.

Great Magazine; problematic app. Ever since The Week changed developers the app has been troublesome. Swiping from page to page is a problem, the font is either tiny or enormous with no way to adjust to individual preferences. Navigating through the magazine used to be easy but not anymore since the only way is to swipe through screen after screen. Such a shame because it’s a wonderful magazine ruined by a cumbersome reading experience and unresponsive customer service.

Love the news in The Week. Hate The Weeks new App 9/23. The Week just updated their App in Sept 23. Now the app is buggy and not a all user friendly. Hard to navigation, no guidance on how to use the ‘new’ features. How to switch between PDF and Text. Well there’s a hidden (literally invisible) icon you have to find (they don’t tell you about it) to active the Text format. (You can see the icon to switch back to PDF format though … so that’s something).

An Excellent Magazine!. In my hands, or online, The Week Magazine gives a great look at both sides of major issues. Information from around the world provides a rare insight to what people from other countries see and feel about major topics that we all need to deal with. There’s also always some good laughs in special sections. For sure, one of my most favorite magazines, and websites, on the market!

Where are the 10 things I need to know?. Every change this app/site makes is terrible. It used to be straightforward now too much opinion and analysis from the staff. There are a million places to get that and few to just get news. I also hate the new way the magazine displays in app. There is always an annoying icon in the corner. I wish they would return to their roots.

This is a great magazine that everyone should know about. I have become such a huge fan of The Week magazine! In it you get news and opinion from around the world, from different writers and viewpoints and political perspectives. Learn the latest about music, things to stream on television, movies, art, theater and much more. I’ve learned about great new books and places to go on vacation, areas to look at for future travel and even potential places to live and retire. There is so much here weak in and week out. I love my subscriptions to the New Yorker and the New York Times and other magazines, but it’s to The Week I turn the most. Give The Week a try! You won’t be disappointed.

PDF-ish version is not mobile friendly. The developers’ decision to switch to what is effectively a pdf has made it difficult to scroll through. Mobile versions are primarily about convenience; controlled by the thumb of one hand (as opposed to computer versions, where you are already sitting and have a mouse and keyboard at your fingertips). The quality of the information is irrelevant if I can’t easily read it. Having to use one hand to hold the phone while I use the other to 2D scroll and pinch has been enough for me to cancel my subscription. If you change it back (all other things remaining equal), I will resubscribe. Thanks for reading and good luck.

App is Unreadable and Customer Service is Terribel. The previous app version was much more readable on my phone. (The app developer recently changed.) This new version appears just like the magazine has been scanned in. Also, the customer service is terrible. In the app it directs you The Week customer service (open the app, in Settings select Need Help? And go to Need support with the app?), but if you contact that they will direct you to the app developer, which will the direct you to The Week customer service. After years of using (and enjoying) the app, I stopped my subscription.

Unbalanced Digests. I’ve been searching for media outlets that digest unbiased general news coverage so I can stay up to date quickly without being subjected to indoctrination from any specific party. The Week is not that. While The Week does cover news from a variety of sources and compiles them in short, easy-access format (exactly what I want), the summaries they feature lean too far to the left. I will have to keep looking for an unbiased news source.

Everything in one magazine. I enjoy the tremendous variety of articles in each and every issue. With this amazing content THE WEEK is not a quick read but rather a compilation of news presented in a compelling and provocative way.

Brilliant. This is my favourite App. It is easy to navigate, store favourite stories and also.. stay informed. It is nicely set out like the magazine, but it seems to be available at irregular times, not necessarily on Friday..

Fantastic app. The Week is a fantastic app for gaining knowledge on a broad range of topics. It's easy to read and interesting. The layout is easy to read and navigate through. Highly recommended.

Misleading. Blurb says the app is free, and that, for a limited time, the latest issue can be downloaded free. However, once you've downloaded the app, any attempt to download the "free" latest issue is met with a message that no issues are available.

Love this app. I can finally access the magazine when it comes out instead of waiting 2 weeks for it to get on my local newsstands (Canada). I love the free trial issues, night reading function, navigation. Only wish I could archive issues as I'm done instead of keeping the latest 4.

The Week Magazine. Constant problems when trying to subscribe. It is not a user friendly process- especially for us ancient, technologically impaired seniors. The magazine itself is great. Unreliable download. App causes constant problems. I’ll get the hard copy next time I renew.

The week. The is a fantastic publication - but the app itself has been driving me crazy for 5 weeks - nothing but problems. However I keep enduring as I like the magazine

Liberal overview. Potential subscribers should realize they are buying the NYT/Wapo when they sign up. Pro union and globalist in its bias rendered perhaps a little more forgivable by its gorgeous front pages.

The Week Magazine US. This app does not work for me! I have a print subscription to this fantastic news magazine and want desperately to have access to it on my ipad. Forget it! Still trying to figure out with The Week Customer Service why the app won't show the issues.... I have not given up just yet! Wish me luck!

The Week = The Best. If I could only afford one "news" app --- (I would cancel The Times, The Guardian, even The Telegraph) --- & this is the ONE I would buy. Brilliant journalism.

Changed digital format. Actual images of paper publication are much less accessible on a tablet requiring enlargement and repositioning in order to read articles. While previous digital format lacked “the magazine look” each item fitted the screen.

App doesn’t work if you have an Apple paid subscription. on an iPhone. The developers are clearly uninterested in fixing this problem. The Restore from iTunes buttons, rebooting, and reinstalling does nothing. I’d buy a subscription from the Week website in the future if I do it at all; perhaps the support would improve with a login account.

Good magazine — TERRIBLE App. I have been a print subscriber for years and use the iPad digital version when I want to share a story or look more closely at a photo. I invariably need to log out and in as my library doesn’t sync. It tries to sell me a subscription when I force a sync. Navigation in the digital version is slow and unpredictable at best. Some photos will enlarge a great deal. Most are unresponsive. I hope no one is buying just a digital version of this very expensive magazine. If they are, you won’t keep them until you improve the absolute nonsense in your digital version.

Solid stuff. The week Contin is solid and consistent almost without exception. Is a reliable source of your information feed to respond to critical questions opinionsst or judgments what a pleasure in life

Failure to link to subscribed account. As a long time PAID subscriber, it is annoying every journey thru the app involves a lengthy & confusing search for a path to articles without having to “purchase” the current issue or “subscribe” (what, again.)

Unbiased news. This magazine provides timely information from many perspectives. It’s a “must” to keep me informed on a variety of national and international topics.

New app is horrible. I could not log in for a week, I do not like the new “magazine” format and expanding the page does not give me content down the side like before so I can skip to my favorite pages. Instead I have to scroll through the whole magazine. And where is the daily briefing? Poor job guys. Do better.

The new app for The Week is awful!!!😫😫😫. Terrible!! Not only does it not work but customer support is awful. I can’t get any answers or information from the producers or staff at The Week. Customer service sends me to an app developer who states they no longer contract with The Week. I hope this review gets some positive results, since I actually like subscribing to the old version of The Week.

Worthless ap. The ap dropped my subscription and the designated procedure to restore it doesn’t work. I have several other subscriptions through iTunes to magazines and newspapers, all of which work flawlessly. But my subscription to the Week is gone halfway through its paid term. I’ve had numerous other problems with his app, but this one is a deal killer. I will not renew. Too bad, because it’s a good magazine.

Easy. The Week in my mailbox weekly is excellent. What surprised me is that the online version is, too. It is easy to navigate, laid out just like the paper version. I like it almost as much as the paper copy.

Horrible website. About 10 days ago the easy digital access to 10 current things to know vanished. Help website wothless—downloaded but did not correct. Now my weekly issue is much smaller font and 2 pages per window. Used to be able to scroll single pages. This happened a couple of years ago. Longtime user but may not renew.

A weekly wonderful read for a current events magazine .. The news coverage always up to date, ,unbiased, accurate and written in a style that makes for easy reading . E Saltzman Palm City Fla

The app. Most times it’s difficult to get to the new magazine. Tap the account tap library pull the page and hope the wheel spins. This however can take several tries

Reliable read to counter era of disinformation. country and world and puts together a broad view of the news. s of the same story that’s why I like it it seems very unbiased and it is very deep

Never stop The Week!. Cannot see my life without The Week. I have been an avid reader since 2007. It’s essential at bed time for me.

Terrible app. I’ve been a subscriber to this magazine for years. It most recently has been getting worse glitches that do no recognize your login. I’ll go weeks without actually being able to read them. I finally broke thru a few days ago to download some issues. Of course while on an airplane the damm app didn’t recognize me again. Don’t use. Go back to hard copy

Yay!. Just LOVE The Week…. Great magazine… short and informative… APP easy to use… always there for a quick read, or a long flight. Highly recommend!

The Week is weak. If they want a decent review then fix their reviews. For months now every movie and play gets a 4 star (4 out of 4) review while the print edition has it correct. I have emailed them but they don’t seem to pay any attention to their customers, this one a customer for many years.

The Week. Love the magazine, paper and digital. Great to get early access in this version. ( especially pleased today as the paper version won’t be in the mail until Monday)

Patrick M. Very balanced, though, intelligent news source. I appreciate that it uses, in this day and age, competent, balanced editors to filter fact from the sensationalism that is what internet news is.

Love It. I love The Week magazine, and I love the fact that I can get it on my iPad. I also love that they give both sides, left and right, of an issue. I look forward each week to be enlightened.

Can’t delete back issues. Can’t delete back issues “Delete” is grayed out How to delete all those issues

bad update. whoever decided to float a thumbnail of the PDF over the text should be fired. don’t you test these things before you release them? also, you should restore users’ ability to chose white text on a black background because it’s easier (for some people at least) to read that way.

The new format is terrible on the iPhone. The change just made makes the iPhone app useless. The previous version made it easy to read the articles on a small screen. Now it requires lots of zooming and panning to read things. Please give us the old format as an option!

Dislike the new update. The new update on iOS is not very good at all. I miss the table of contents. The PDF looks blurry. I figured out how to enlarge it, but it still just feels unsatisfying compared to what it was before. There’s a small icon on the lower right that just gets in the way once the text is enlarged. can you bring it the old version back? PLEASE I love the articles and your content.

September 2023 update loses accessibility features. The September 2023 update no longer allows me to change the color scheme to light text on a dark background. This loss of functionality is a step back in accessibility. It also was harder for me to figure out how to increase the font size.

Left-leaning news curation. The Week has steadily drifted left over the years, probably driven by their Trump hatred. Don’t believe me? Look no further than their selection of political cartoons. 7 years of virtually nothing but Trump satire. Boring… Oh, did I mention you can’t adjust font size in the app. You have to strain your eyes to be bored by their tedious rants. Yeesh!

Go to News Read!. The Week as been my preferred source for news for many years. It’s concise coverage of the news and other subjects of interest to me has been great.

Jack TIBBETTS. App has too many glitches. Content has drifted way left and has destroyed some of your credibility- very dissatisfied there. Move back the center and report the news, not your editorial views, unless it is an editorial! Captain Jack

Best weekly magazine I've ever read. Of the 14 magazines I subscribe to across a range of topics (sports, news, health, etc), this is hands down the most enjoyable and informative. I'm surprised at how inexpensive it is.

My must read weekly. I fastidiously read the daily The Week postings and relish the weekly The Week. The news is factual, with ample inclusion of diverse points of view. I find the opinions spot on, and the cartoons are a marvelous way to experience the cut-and-slash of cartoonists.

The most unreliable app I use. This app is wholly unreliable, usually failing to load or freezing, and working especially terribly when I’m traveling and trying to use my phone’s hotspot connection. It’s gotten a lot worse over the years. When it does work, its functionality is not bad, but the navigation could be a bit more intuitive.

The Week. This is an exceptional magazine specifically because it covers all areas of the news and, in particular, it deals with facts and not rumors! Judith Herman

Getting used to the new format. Some good, some not so good "improvements." I like more things on a page, but it's not as friendly to the eye.

The Magazine for Current Events. This magazine informs me on the latest and best news. I look forward to my reading time every “week.”

New Week App. I am not impressed with the new app for the digital edition. What happened to the Daily Briefing, Ten Things You Need to Know? Where are my Bookmarks for all of my previous issues? I am open to changes and updates, but I think that those changes should be for the better, not the worse.

Lost features and content. From the new app I have lost the black background option the link to “10 things you need to know today”.

weekly news. I could not go a week without reading The Week to keep me up to date on so many world issues. A necessity for sure.

Easy to use. I have enjoyed The Week magazine for years and the app is so simple to use. Nice when traveling or stuck waiting anywhere to open it on the phone.

Update shows only pdf version. The Week is a great magazine but the newest update only allows you to read the magazine as a pdf version of the magazine. Gone is the ability to change the size of the text or to scroll easily from article to article. Please change it back!

The week review. The week is a necessary read for me every week. Has sufficient balance and interesting categories.

New app is horrible. Why did you change the app? Now it is just a PDF that is impossible to read on a device. If this doesn’t change I will be cancelling my subscription (which of course will take a while to do as that part of the user interface has never been user friendly.

Great magazine, crappy app. And the title says it all. I’ve been a subscriber and online app reader for maybe ten years. I have had to appeal to customer service to restore online access perhaps eight or ten times, most recently today. Why is this so difficult?

Both sides. The week reports stories in greater depth than the news. Both sides are reported. I always look forward to, The Last Word.

New website. The new website, as of last week, makes my web reading very difficult. It would be nice to be provided a path back to the previous website.

Updated app missing features. The updated app is missing the daily news and mobile reading features that the older version has. The new app makes reading the digital version of the magazine very difficult as its not setup for mobile viewing. Please revert back to the old version.

Love the content, FIX THE APP!. Been a print subscriber for years and love this magazine. But I would love to enjoy it on my iOS device. Seems like every month, suddenly, the app won’t recognize my device or me! Real pain. Why can’t they fix this buggy app?

Great magazine. This magazine keeps you up to date about US and the world news in concise and relavent articles. I highly recommend it.

Mr.S.Donald Friedman. Congratulations! I think you have created a wonderful magazine. Love it!. I read parts in hard copy, and some on my I Pad. Could not be more pleased; have sent gifts to several friends. Talk about "separating the wheat from the chaff" All the very best Don

Where did my magazines go???. I like to reference my old magazines for movie reviews and book recommendations. However, I no longer have access to any magazines older than Nov. 2022. Online, I have access up until 2021, but I have PURCHASED these up until 2018 and I would really appreciate my access to these articles to be reinstated. Thank you

Requires a $ubscription!. I did not see this mentioned anywhere in the description, but downloading the app only provides access to the subscription process, which appears to be $12. Not sure if that’s monthly or yearly. Seems a deceptive practice, which starts me off on the wrong foot. Deleting the app.
