Used to be good. The app used to be good before they completely overhauled it. It seems like they tried to make it more mobile friendly but it is now unusable. The update was made before it was reviewed by anyone at all. It glitches all of the time and the leaderboard section just doesn’t work. Half of the content is off screen and unable to be viewed. For example, if I try and view a single player’s scorecard hole #10 is off screen to the right and after I swipe to the back nine #10 if offscreen to the left. The new software simply does not work. It wasn’t broken before so don’t fix what isn’t broken.

New UI a big step backwards. UI needs revamp to optimize the screen real estate. The new look and user interface was a big step backwards from the prior UI. I’m not a UI expert but work with them on a daily basis and this app breaks basic UI design best practices all over the place. For instance, there is “white space” all over the screen. Fonts are inconsistent. Leaderboard is hard to find. TV coverage is WAY harder to find and understand than before. I would imagine the top feature is to see the leaderboard and now it’s hard to find and difficult to navigate. Just model after Yahoo Sports design.

Good, but is struggling.. I love this app. I’m an avid golfer, and I like to keep up with the PGA, and I use this app to do that. But lately I have been using the ESPN app because for me at least, the last week and a half it had said ERROR WOTH LOADING, SORRY WE ARE WORKING ON IT. BUT YALL HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO FIX IT. And what makes me more upset is that my sisters app works, and we live j. The same house. Not sure why, but the fantasy is the only thing working for me. Other then that, I love this app. Great articles, insight, updates, and more. That is, when it was working.

Frustrated😡. Wanted to look at leaderboards for past tournaments ... some direct me to the present WCG in Mex. instead. Even when it does, it takes forever!!! What is going on? Pls fix it. And now, All of a sudden, can't upgrade on my I-Pad ... app doesn't support it. I now have NOTHING! What is the problem? Why can't you people leave well enough alone? Also, why is this version not compatible anymore? I have IOS 10.3.3 Adding same comments again ... upgrade, open, must upgrade, Open, etc. etc. do you ever read the comments? My I-phone app is fine !!! NO STARS, can't even change them ...

Love Golf. Hey, I hope the creators of this app sees this review! I have used this app to follow my favorite sport for years, and now that is my favorite week of Golf being “Masters Week” there was an update to the app a few days ago and now it will not load. Please correct whatever you did wrong and get the app to work properly before the Masters actually starts. Thanks in advance, Love Golf

Clunky Flow. I just purchased an I phone 13. Updated the app. I am not fond of the opening in the app now. There are more video graphics that I care to see and what seems to be less information than I am looking for. When I searched for the upcoming schedule I feel that should be on the home page. Today I worked my way through the app to see what tournament is next week which is the ATT at Pebble Beach. When I select that tournament I am brought to that page of information. One problem going to that page is all the images are over sized as if I zoomed into the image and cannot zoom back out. I wanted to see who is in the field so far. The only way I can get out of that page is to totally close the app. I miss the old version. It seems everything this app is updated, the powers that be find more ways to bomb us with advertisements.

Where are they playing and what’s good about it?. It’s always left me wondering and searching other sources for such pertinent information. Another icon at the bottom for course info, maybe even an address, and time zone, perhaps even a little history of events played there and what caliber of players that have won there would enhance the experience and make this a true source of information. As of now, it’s a reasonable start but could use some serious improvement. Gary ie ggE151

App is an afterthought. Every major tournament has an app that updates quickly, rarely force quits, and contains meaningful content for golf fans. The most reliable elements of the PGA Tour app are that you can guarantee it will force quit, you can guarantee the leaderboard will be incredibly far behind, and you can guarantee the user experience will be clunky at best. With as much money as the tour pulls in it would be incredibly easy to improve this app to at least compete with the apps dedicated to the majors. Unfortunately, this app being an afterthought is just another indication (along with their avoidance of any hint of conflict, their unimaginative tournament formats, and their pricing the new media contract so high that Networks have to flood the broadcast with commercials to be able to afford it) that the tour couldn’t care less about the fan experience.

Not even close to live. When you open the app, it takes forever to load. Long enough you’ll close it most times before using it. Half the time the live updates are 10 min late. The shot tracker is glitchy and often doesn’t even work, always requiring you to click the player’s name on and off to update to the next shot. Kind of embarrassing how bad this app is considering how much money they have and it’s the only one in existence. Pretty useless if you ask me. Plenty of other sports apps can do what it does, but work way faster. I guess the PGA tour is spending all their time making sure the boiled hot dogs and disgusting sandwiches at their events stay crappy.

Please check what your customers are saying. Can you please go to the most recent reviews of the updated Pga tour app and then let me know when you will be reverting back to the old version? You are really making frustrated people out of your customers. Are you able to see any trends in the comments and ratings? Seems overwhelmingly clear to me what needs to be done. Cut your losses. Please let me know what you are doing about this issue. As a heavy PGA tour follower and a very concerned user of the app, i deserve a prompt response to this and a reasonable explanation as to what is being done to rectify this unmistakable failure. I appreciate the time.

Neglected app. I used to use this all the time. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is the tee times. It doesn’t adjust to your own time zone. I used to translate it from Eastern time. Now they’re just wrong, all the time. I’m too frustrated with the fact that I’ve tuned into watch golfers at the wrong time and missed their play. Come on software team. Can’t you do what every app does, adjust to the local time zone of the phone?!? That way when people are traveling abroad it will still work. Life’s amazing when you leverage software correctly!

Please Don’t get into politics. Trump golf courses are some of the best in the country. I don’t believe you should alienate -1/2 of the population with punishing the President. I don’t know how much it may hurt his bottom line. But you did this before the complete story is told. I don’t watch football anymore for there anti American antics. Bunch of spoiled rich players creating a scene. Please don’t get political in your presentations in the future. I bet the football teams lost a lot of viewers. You’ll lose me.

Too complicated to get right. I’ve been using this app for a year. I love the info they include like play by play, players, location, tee times, ball speed etc. My issue is that they try so hard to pack all this info and features in but then sometimes I’ll look at various scores that won’t update for 3-4 holes. Or it will say, the player hit 9 feet 3 inches to the hole when I’m watching live and it’s clearly 3-4 feet. Even the tv announcer said 3-4 feet! If your going to be so precise, you have to be right, update quickly/live, or just keep it more simple. Also I have really good fast internet and a new phone and “tour cast” is USELESS!!!! It hardly ever works. Scrap all that crap and put that person on updating the leaderboard. Not impressed. X is probably better if you really want to follow a specific player.

Not bad progress, but usability and leaderboard are not good. I get trying to make an app better, which this was is showing progress - the Shot Details are nice. Having your favorites scroll across the top on the Home Screen are nice. Some of the usability is not intuitive but the leaderboard screen needs help. The large “button”??? to select your favorite players takes up way too much real estate and the column headers don’t line up correctly with the table of scores.

Okay app when it does work. Currently, the app is unusable due to an “error while updating” message when trying to do anything in the app. When it does work, it uses a lot of battery and makes my devices quite hot, even newer ones. There also seem to be quite a few changes that don’t do much other than rearrange and cause confusion. Every once in a while there’s something offered in the app that I can’t get with ESPN, Sports Alerts, or other apps and that’s when it shines, but until it’s functional, I’ll be uninstalling.

Junk...lost a user. I keep saying there is an upgrade available, but when I click on the upgrade it just sends me to the App Store. When you get to the App Store it just let you open up the app, which then tells you there's an update available, and around and around we go. This has been a problem before but I'm all done. Take care, I hope you get it fixed

When it works, it’s great. It just never works. If you like closing and re-opening an app 3-4 times before it works properly, this is the app for you! In all seriousness, I don’t understand how poorly this app performs. It will often get stuck loading. When I switch between PGA and KFT leaderboards, the menu rarely works without having to click multiple times. Tourcast seems to constantly be down. When everything is working, I actually really like the app. It was designed well. Just poor performance :(

Great app when it works. Lots of information on the tournaments and players. Great app to use during tournament as you can see all the golfers and not just the four or five that TV always shows. The problem is that too many times I get an error message saying it couldn’t update the information and then you can’t see any information. Happens quite often.

Solid App Overall w/ a Few Minor Gripes. I’ve been using different iterations of this app for many years. It provides a lot of good information and the layout is pretty clean. I’m not a huge fan of the white background (I like when it used to be blue a few years back), but that’s more of a personal preference. There are quite a few rotating ads that appear on the Leadership page, which can make it a bit cumbersome to scroll through. Finally, when you click on a golfer’s profile, it takes you initially to the “Overview” section, where you can select overall performance stats (number of top 10s, events played, etc.) for prior years, but curiously, there is no way to see their FedEx Cup rating from those past years.

Fantasy League availability on new app. This new app is much more difficult to navigate than the previous app! Also, I don’t see how to access the fantasy league that we had set up on the previous app! I understand that an attempt is being made to improve the website and you are offering a plethora of golf stories and information. I would appreciate direction on how to access the fantasy league aspect if it is even any longer available?

Completely Butchered The Fantasy App. It saddens me to say this but I’ll officially be moving on from PGA Tour Fantasy. I made the move over to it after Yahoo Fantasy Golf ended and I enjoyed it for years, especially during the earlier stages that included the One-and-Done challenges for both the PGA and the PGA Champions Tour until they eventually got rid of those as well. The high scoring version with the red app was highly entertaining, then they completely altered the layout of it that included a watered down scoring system which made it far less desirable to me. I even enjoyed participating in the comment sections under various articles on the website. Rob Bolton was very interactive with the community of commenters and it added to the whole enjoyment of the fantasy experience but of course they had to end that, too. The truth of the matter is, the PGA is failing and they know it. It won’t be long until the LIV takeover commences and I will gladly be joining the ride!

Slow players / anchoring putters. Something has to be done with slow play, warnings mean nothing if some sort of penalty is added to the game, they will keep doing slow play. On another note there are players getting away with anchoring there putters, everyone should putt with the same average size putters. 51/2 hr. Rounds are not acceptable, anchoring putters to chest or arm on side , has to be stopped. I know nothing will change, it’s just what I am tired of seeing. Thank you !!!! Why couldn’t golf fans in the USA watch the Ryder Cup unless they got up at 2:00am in the morning, it’s a disgrace that you couldn’t have aired it around noon, so golf fans could watch and cheer on our country. Disgraceful!!!!

Newer version available, but no update.... I hate giving this app a 1 star because it used to be beautiful. When I open the app "a newer version available that requires an update" box pops up, but when I click on the box to agree with wanting to update the app it then takes me to the Apple App Store where everything appears to be up to date. In short, there is no update to download. So needless to say, this causes a vicious cycle of uselessness. I've read other reviews on this page that are referring to this very problem as well. This used to be a great app and probably still is if I could actually update it and use it again for all of my PGA scoring needs :-)

I hate this new app. PGA app was one of my favorites. I could quickly check the leaderboard to see if any of my favorites were in contention. It was clean and easy. This new app is confusing and too hard to use. I used to watch golf every weekend to see Tiger. There is no longer anyone who is must see tv. I would still check the app but now I am thinking about deleting it. New is not always better. Every time I try to use the app anywhere I get an error message saying something went wrong try again later. I have been trying for weeks.

Notifications still broken. There's been 4 updates since this "new" version was released and the Notifications are still broken. I left 2 prior reviews that were long, descriptive and, apparently, Apple has removed both of them. Was this at your request? Not sure why, it was all honest & respectful information. Notifications still do not work. You never get the iOS pop-up window allowing Notifications. I keep hoping that the next update will fix this, but it's still broken. This is an app-breaking feature & needs to be fixed finally. It's been 4 months since this latest "new" release. Please help us. Please fix the Notifications. Thank you.

How to fix the loading error. If the app won’t refresh or load any content, delete the app completely and download again. Worked for me. Had been broken for months. An app update will not work. Need to delete and re-download.

Fan of golf!. So sorry to see the Master’s director allowing shame on Gary Player over a sleeve of golf balls that was just being opened to get a ball for Gary to hit! This I feel hurts the Masters tournament more than you know! You honor Mr. Player for his dedication to the game of golf and display this kind of treatment on his son is astonishing. There must be more to this story that you don’t want any to see. I feel Mr. Player will have more to say in this matter!

Liv. Please do not let any of them play in any PGA th anymore those that left and wanted to get a lot of money from the saris should not get to put a golf club on any PGA tour I wish they could keep them from playing in the U.S. Open to because you asked me they’re not very patriotic and the PGA has always been very good about human rights wellSaudis are not they’re terrible so please stick to your guns and don’t let them do anything and that includes Phil he thinks he’s got a all Thank you very much

Great app, HOWEVER, why pay when fee on facebook watch?. Let me start off by saying that this app is great and the $5.99 a month service is also very good for live coverage, allowing you to watch featured groups and or featured holes. HOWEVER, why in the world do you not allow me to watch the same live feed that shows on Facebook live, for FREE? Some people do not use Facebook… Most people do not use Facebook live because it requires flash player which does not work on almost all iOS devices. PGA tour, please do your research and DONT Alienate the people that actually preferred to pay $5.99 a month for great coverage.

Seriously bad “upgrade”. This new app is horrible. It’s freakin Monday, and I have to dig for the leaderboard of yesterdays event and then even when I find it, I can’t see the 4th round outcomes… only the final results. But if I want to know the tee times for this coming Thursday, no problem! Unbelievable. Please get a clue about what serious golf fans want to know and quit trying to make this look like a video game! It’s like the players aren’t real… like avatars or something. Just tried again… there is no way to see the final round scoring on this app… at least I can’t find it. CBS it is!

If you love clicking add by accident, this is the app for you.. Shot tracker is cool, but there are two huge flaws. They removed “field” tab, meaning it’s now very hard to add and track favorite golfers. If you gamble or play DFS and don’t want to follow the same guys, it’s a bigger lift. Also, I swear 35% of the time I try to scroll I open up an ad due to its placement in the view port, or the way it slides in between players on a delay. And good luck if your player is even near an ad and you want to see his round.

Upgrade?. Opened the app and was informed that I need to upgrade to use the app. It gives me a connection stated "upgrade" which only takes me to the Apple Store which informs me I've already purchase the app. Where's the upgrade? Why doesn't it show up as an upgrade in the Apple Store? Very bad. Now it's Jan 5, 2019 and again there is a message to upgrade, but as a year ago where's the upgrade? And, again, why don't the upgrades show in the Apple Store? Noticed that the app "requires iOS 11.0 or later." My iPad is at 10.3.3 and it states it is up to date. What gives?

Initially Destroyed the app on iOS 10, But Now Fine!. EDIT—Developer promptly fixed the problem. 👍👍👍 Upgrade is no longer mandatory. There is a cancel option! Original review—Mandatory Upgrades are stupid when you destroy the app on older devices still running iOS 10.3. One is thrown into an endless loop of upgrade required, but it cannot be installed because it is not compatible with iOS 10.3, so install a prior version which is compatible, but the prior version now ISN'T compatible because of the mandatory update! 🙄

Not working any more. This used to be a great app for keeping up with the various tours. The last several times I have gone to it it won’t update leaders or any other information. It is pretty much bricked. I don’t know what the PGA is doing but this app is a mess. Don’t waste your time. EDIT: I have added two stars following a delete and reinstall of the app. That has worked so far but should not be required to enjoy the app. If this is a one time deal I will add stars but for now the amended 3 will have to do. I hope it is stable now because generally I like this app.

Crashes, in accurate tee times, but it has Sirius. Seems like every time I open this app and needs to crash at least once to restart. And then it doesn’t automatically update the leaderboard. When it does if there is a change in teetimes due to the late start that is not reflected either. Really don’t know how these glaring errors are happening on an app that seemingly has a lot of funding based in the advertisement. however I can listen to Sirius satellite radio wherever I want.

Notifications lacking. The PGA tour app Notifications have much to be desired. notifications state “X player has started and is even through 1”. how they did through 1 is less interesting. This could be a much improved notification by saying “player X has started round X, is (overall) XX under, and currently in X place”. Then I might log into your app to follow. But when most players start even, it’s not a notification that encourages me to open the app and follow the action. Could be so much more.

Can’t even sign up. The app usage isn’t horrible. The sign in and sign up does not even work in the slightest. If you go to sign in which I already have a pga account won’t let you sign in. Maybe I forgot my password. Reset password… never got an email. Tried logging in on the website easy no problem. Ok maybe let’s try to make a new account through the app, I use a brand new email… this email is not valid. Not sure how I’m supposed to login if I can’t log in to my account and I can’t create an account what am I supposed to do??? Thumbs down.

Shot tracker. Shot tracker used to be phenomenal. But this new update made it worse. Before you could click on your player on the leaderboard and it would show his previous shot. Now you click on the player and all it shows is his scorecard and you have to go into shot details to see his shot by shot. You need to go back to the old way. I’m part of a golf forum and everyone is complaining about this. The old way was a much easier way to view things

Unbelievably impossible to navigate. Just when you thought the PGA Tour app could not get worse after the last iteration, this abomination shows up. For starters, if I want to know the broadcast schedule, I have to scroll through a bunch of streaming feeds that I don’t care about. How about, I dunno, putting the daily broadcast schedules in a compact area that’s easy to find and make the streaming schedule separate. I mean I get that people are cutting the cord but, good grief, look up Byzantine on Wikipedia and this app shows up. Next, I want to know the tee times coming up are so I expect to see “Tee Times” somewhere. But no, where are they? Oh! There they are under the friggin’ leaderboard selection. Brilliant! So I’ve come up with a mnemonic to remember this: if you want to see the tee times, be sure to click “leaderboard”. Oh, that’s not a mnemonic you say? Of course it’s not, who the frig wants to try to come up with a way to remember how to get to something so fundamentally desired it requires a friggin mnemonic. I wish I could give zero stars, so I guess I’ll have to be satisfied with giving zero craps about this app.

Too tricked out. Really a bit annoying to navigate. When I’m choosing the players I want to follow and navigating between them to see their scores or locations on the course via TourCast I’m constantly accidentally deleting them from my list. 🙄🤦🏻‍♂️ I don’t really think I’m hitting the star every time, maybe I am. Maybe the radio button feature of that star is leaking out beyond the edges? Whatever it is, it’s really annoying because I keep losing my players 😤

Goo,Improvements, but needed to this app. Currently this app rarely provides active coverage of the play. I recommend the makers of this app look at the fantastic job the Masters App has done this year. There you can see all of the play of each golfer and is the Best app programming I have ever seen! Video coverage of every player’s day in addition to 1 to 4 panel live to near live videos of selectable videos and a favorites video selection. Wish the PGA Tour app hires these programmers.

iPhone app good, iPad bad. iPhone app is decent, but the iPad app is terrible. It’s the only app I use that only does Landscape orientation. The opening default view is of the holes. Huh? Tapping the leaderboard ( which is the first interest of most people, I think) slides out to only use a portion of the screen. Then, what takes the cake is when you tap a player. It shows the player’s last hole, with the player occupying a small corner of the screen. Why could this app not be like the iPhone app, which is actually useful?

New App Update. I’ve used this app for the last 5+ years to follow golf coverage on my phone. Are you kidding me with this recent update? You have made it more difficult to get to the shot tracker, adding another step to go to shot details. This is unbelievable and seems archaic. It was so easy to just click someone’s name and then the drop down would tell you the shot result without having to go to a new page. Now another level to click into making the user interface incredibly difficult to navigate. Deleting the app.

Great update - but where are the last tournament results?. Enjoying the new app and spending a lot of time with it following tournaments and my favorite players. The only feature that seems to be missing is a player’s tournament-by-tournament results. I had to go over to ESPN to see how Matt Fitzpatrick has fared week in and week out so far this year. Would seem to be a simple add?

AWFUL update. DONT DO IT.. I check this app religiously every single week (and day) so functionality and user friendliness is key. If I wanted all the details that are seen on the full website desktop version, I would use my desktop. But I don’t, that’s why I use the app, for the condensed version only showing me what I need to see. something Super easy to get around and understand. The black background is so difficult to see the scores for each hole easily. You aren’t directed to another page to see either your player or groups shots like before. All my favorites were gone and needed to be added again. And if I wanted to see pictures of all the players I would look at their bios, NOT ON THE TEE TIMES PAGE where all I want is a name and a time. Visually the tee times look cool I’ll give the update that, but efficiency is out the window. PLEAAE GO BACK TO THE UPDATE PRIOR TO THIS ONE. Because this one is horrible. Not user friendly. Too much info. 🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️

Website Scoring Doesn’t Keep Up With Live Play. The website is at least 2-3 holes behind the live play of the tournament. Every time I’m away from a tv or can’t watch on a mobile device and want to see how the players stand, I’ve realized the scoring updates on your website are 30 to 45 minutes behind live play. One other thing; you can’t find what the field is for upcoming tournaments until a day or so before it starts. The information is available by searching the website for the tournament, but what’s the big secret you’re trying to keep by not posting it when it becomes final?

Can’t keep on phone. Drains battery on iPhone and iPad. About 20% per 8 hours. I also wish you could just watch pga tour live right in the app. It’s the best way to follow the scoreboard but I’ve tried multiple times to download it hoping it has been fixed but it just kills my battery Confirmed again last night deleting it and my battery stayed at 100% overnight not plugged in in airplane mode. App significantly degrades battery

Never Works. The PGA Tour app is a frustrating experience for any golf fan. This is a major problem for an app that is designed to provide up-to-date information on one of the most popular sports in the world. Gone App. Please hire some competent tech people to look into why your app is not working. It supposedly should work on IOS 12 and later, but since your latest upgrade, it’s not. I’ve had to download your ridiculously slow website to get golf news. The ESPN website is a better alternative! Just bought an iPhone XR and brought back up my PGA Tour app as I’m now on IOS 13, however you should have notified followers with older phones that don’t support newer IOS updates or allowed them to download an older version of the app! Get with it you tech pros.

Needs work. Last year's app was way better. Easier to read. More intuitive than the current version. The new version's player statistics are not formatted properly. The left side is cut off. No longer shows player's % in top ten finishes among other stats. Cannot view in horizontal mode. Fonts are too large in player stats. Wish we had last year's version back.

Not real time enough. TV scores way ahead in speed...shows the leaderboard with a big display ad after 5 places every time. Just unnecessarily invasive when the same objective (marketing) could be achieved in a much better way

Useless app. Keeps crashing, never able to follow a full round on the app . Get your act into gear . Pathetic What a con . It should be illegal to sell an app where you can’t access LTD be feed they advertise . You cannot access feeds in Australia yet they sell the app with the “said” features. Surely this is illegal under trade practice law.

No longer works on iPads July 2021. The problem started at the time of the Open in July. Does not respond to various Apple recommendations. The usual close App restart the device, check for updates etc., Both my wife’s and my iPads are up to date with Software. Please fix the App. It works fine on iPhones we have.

Why don’t you show the European Tours?. I’m watching the Euro PGA tour on cable as we speak but you have not listed it in your app. Sorely disappointed as I would have thought you would have a search function to find this tournament so I could see the scorecard. Poor form from you guys

Overseas follower of Aussie golfers. As an overseas follower of Aussie golfers PGA Tour app is often the only way we can follow our favourite golfers when a “featured golfer” is ++ over and and Aussie is 7under!! love this app!

Slow to update leaderboard. It’s 30mins after the last group had finished their round and you still have them on the 17th. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Feedback. Hi team, The Masters golf app is superior in every way from UX to refresh to about 90% more content. Can you take a look a replicate as much as possible as it makes this 5/10 app look amateurish in comparison.

PGA tour App. Very good statistics and interactive leaderboard. Although to slow in updating scores. There is a big lag between live play and what the scores on the leaderboard are. Speed it up.

Tee times don’t correspond to your own time zone. There needs to be an option to display the tee times in your current time zone. It’s frustrating to have to work out a different time conversion every other weekend living in Australia. If they could make this happen, the app would be way more informative to international users. Slow. The app is sooooooo slow opening…. Either opening app is a spinning wheel until it opens (often minutes) or checking leaderboard is a spinning wheel, especially checking players scores. App is good when it works.

iPad 3. iPad 3 and other older devices cannot update to iOS 10 which the App now requires. Can allowance be made for this to allow continued use of the App?

Needs local tee times. Decent app, just needs to put tee times in local time to the user.

App disappears. I’ve had the App for a few years but when British Open began it disappeared- whenever I tried to open it, it went straight back to the screen. Tried to reload it via Apps Store and same thing happens.

Good but needs customisable tee times. Great app, but would love to be able to see tee times in my current timezone, not just local.

Very Slow to load. Very very slow to load and refresh pages. Doesn’t seem to cope with the traffic. Content is good otherwise.

Too many ads, all interrupting the app.. Ads keep interrupting the app, and video graphics keep changing what you are trying to do. Reading the leaderboard took 3 attempts because of interruptions sending it to the top. Also, if you want to watch a player shot, you have more advert than golf.

Leaderboard. Advertising in the middle of the leaderboard signifies that money is more important than the game itself. Shame on you. Never mind the logistical challenge for the poor viewer who might inadvertently touch something that takes me from the leaderboard; it’s the venal nature of those who allow this situation which leads me to conclude the game is up for sale anywhere, any time. This site is a disgrace. Fix it and make it a part of fan ‘experience’- not fan exploitation.

Still got bugs. Best tour in the world has a decent app however it falls short on occasions with video content often not working and slow to update leaderboard information.

Great App to follow the action. Many features to like including the ball tracking for each hole. One simple feature missing is the local time vs the my time, so I know when tee times start etc. it’s often on the Major golf tours apps, but PGA Tour haven’t caught on to this.

Crashes continually. So frustrating to have to deal with an app that crashes over and over again, in multiple screens 👎

Terrible update. Too many issues with refreshing incoming feeds and delays in getting updates to the leaderboard. It used to be fine but they have changed it not for the better

International users - my time. Good app but need a ‘my time’ for tee times so we know when our favourite players are teeing off.. doing the conversion from US time is annoying

Excellent.. This is a really good app, easy to use, well laid out and very informative. The only other thing I’d like to see is a current list of the world rankings - not bothered about points, just the top 100.

Great app. Only downfall is it doesn’t convert the tee times to Australian times. If it did I would probably see it a lot more.

Doesn’t work now. With latest version, this App won’t load. Of course it had been reported to the developer but of course nothing has been done about it. A good app stuffed up by lousy testing and uninterested developer

Stopped Working. I’ve used it for some years but stopped working at the beginning of the Open. Rating it highly on past performance.

Language bag. The App is loaded with ads but if you like to skip it goes to languages choice and stays on page while video is going - not good!!!! To me this App is struggling for some time update need to be tested before official release Round recap video is not playing. More and more turn to rubbish app. Shame.

PGA. Great to listen to radio and watch what they allowed to broadcast live. Be great if they put the current time at top near weather forecast

Good but could be better. Needs to work faster on updating scores and player notifications should be able to be handled as turn all off or on instead of having to manage each player individually.

Commentary. As a player and a little knowledge of the game, why, as a viewer of live TV, do I need to be told by so called experts, exactly what I am seeing, I am not blind or deaf. And if your “Commentators” are so expert, why are they behind a microphone and not out there demonstrating their expertise? Media madness and hysteria being demonstrated as usual. If you were genuine, you would credit the spectator with some intelligence and observation. 🤬👎

Simply won’t download. The app. worked well for a couple of years. I did despise, however, advertising within the leaderboard. But in 2023 my app. doesn’t work at all and the new app. will not download on my perfectly good i-phone. As a result it looks as if I’ll follow the European Tour more closely and the PGA Tour less closely in 2023. My European Tour app. works well:

Cannot even open the app !!!. I have tried downloading/updating the app and it keeps stating that it needs an upgrade and then when I do so, it goes back to the start saying I need to upgrade again .... I am operating ios10 so that's not the issue. So I cannot access the app apart from the a 'Review' section. Useless!!!!!

Never up to date on score. Always try to have a quick look at scores when they aren’t showing certain players on TV, this app can sometimes be behind for 5-6 holes or even longer.

Live video not available. Paid for the monthly subscription and was told can’t watch the live “Players round 3” because Australian region is not supported!! Seriously, why even offer the subscription when we can’t watch the live rounds!! Pathetic!!

Good features, horrible performance. There’s lots of good content, good features, although usability is medium. The performance in Australia is horrible. I often see content I like but it’s too slow, so I move on.

Favorite players?. Really frustrating that you have to reselect your favorite players every tournament. You should be able to select your favorite players on tour and they stay selected every tournament they play.... Just like the PGA Tour app and the LPGA Tour app.

Informative. Versatile app, with good articles and very user friendly. Live scores are a bit off.

Stopped working again. Had to reload several times because it stopped working. New app seems to be working better than the Open starts it goes down. Can’t re load. Very frustrating. I thought it was my I pad.

Tee times. Incorporate a setting where people from other countries can see the tee off time from their local time rather then the local time of the tournament

Upgrade ?. Went on today as I do every day and wanted to see Presidents Cup scoring, says I need an upgrade which I had done hours before. Reset the phone, still told I need an upgrade Unusable today. Normally a great app but this is very frustrating

App columns to narrow. The app no longer displays on my phone. The columns are now so narrow that I can only see the first initial of the persons name. Have a had to use my score app to see the pga scoring. Please fix

So Disappointed. I have been using the PGA Tour app for years to stay informed of tour info and leaderboards. This new version has rendered the app essentially useless to me. I don’t know what is on their minds. Certainly all of the recent reviews saying the same suggest I’m not alone in my view. Wish someone from PGA Tour would explain.

Slow to update. Scoring and stats are far to delayed. Sometimes it’s 2 holes behind. It needs to be updated in real time.

Video Not Closing. Whenever watching a video of a player on a current hole, the app works well. But when the video for that hole is over, the video returns to the beginning and there is no way to close the video, the “X” button doesn’t work. The only work around is to close the app.

PGA TOUR APP. When a change is made it should improve. The new PGA TOUR app has not. The pages don’t fit the screen. Everything is cut off. Very annoying.

Does not load. Can not open the app.

Good golf info, way too much betting info. I’m getting a bit sick of how much betting has influenced what is included on apps like these, and in ads across all sports. I understand that, to keep this app free, the money has to come from somewhere. But when the top 4 articles on “my tour” are all betting related, I don’t really want to sift through that stuff to get to the golf info. Love the TourCast feature. Hate all the betting articles and odds showing up EVERYWHERE.

Way too confusing. Deleting this app. Way too confusing to navigate and easily find what you’re looking for. Simple is better. Bye bye.

Pga tour app. Iphone 12 Used app on old iphone 6 for several years until new version with glitches in 2022. So deleted. Got iphone12, uploaded app, doesnt scale correctly and hate the interface. Deleting it now.

Leaderboard is useless on iPhone. Ex. Justin Thomas shows up as J….. That’s it?

Sour. I loved checking out stats and where players were in tournaments but somebody changed the app for the worst . I find it difficult to navigate it doesn’t fit on the screen properly . The scores don’t update, you look at a video clip and get stuck in an endless loop, and then there’s the ever helpful error message that the app didn’t load properly, so come back later … except the app never does load. The website doesn’t have all the app features, but it’s way more reliable.

Lots of potential. This app has some really innovative and cool ideas. The tik tok style video recaps are brilliant. Unfortunately, this app is painfully slow for video so it’s not worth trying to watch. Also, I’m watching this years masters and even the leaderboard is slow. Slow as in its minutes behind The Score app for updating current scores.

Awful. This new app looks awful and is terrible to use. Need an update very badly. 1 star. The old one was a lot more user friendly. Could have tweaked the old one to make it better rather than change the whole thing.

Pga. I can’t even look at the leaderboard it keeps jumping up and down. Adding more to the app doesn’t always make it better. Too much info can make it slow and have to look at. The old app was better at least I could check the scores.

This app is very very unstable. This app needs a lot of work. It is very unstable in that each page frequently fails to load properly or cycles the loading process over and over making it unusable. Fix it.

Atrocious. Incredible how, despite having to “upgrade” every time I open it, this app continues to be behind the curve of every major sporting league. Every major championship—where the app is useful for less than 7 days a year—has an app that is far superior. Beyond parody that this carries a rating of 4+ stars in the App Store when I’ve never met anyone who uses it regularly that doesn’t complain about its functionality. Tear it down and start over.

PGA tournaments. Every time I start to enjoy this app, you figure a way to tick me off. I tried 3 times to play the winner of the tournament contest. Could not get passed the registration process. Each time it would inform me that I had made a password or name mistake. Nope. Considering deleting the app. Looking for enjoyment not frustration.

Power drain. The past few days I have noticed that this app is draining an excessive amount of power. The only way to stop the drain is to delete the app. The battery page shows as backgrond activity and this continues even after I turned off the background app refresh and all notifications. This is not happening with my iPad. Please let me know if you fix it so I can readd the app.

Amazing. Everything you want to know about live tournaments,past tournaments,and future tournament. You can see the whole year schedule, check the scores when ever you want, and even check out the highlights!

Deleted New Updated App. I have had this app on all of my devices for several years now. It’s always lagged behind on live action but other than that I loved it. The most recent update July-August 2022 time frame was awful. It changed so many things. No more course layout. All my saved favorite golfers disappeared. Can’t get play by play on a specific hole from scorecard, and the list goes on. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I wanted to give it a chance but I just couldn’t any more. You lost a long time fan in me.😡

Missing fedex cup and winnings data. The fedex cup table should show how many points and $$$ players are getting with each event when you click on each name, meaning players profiles should include a tab with results, tournament by tournament, at least for the current season Good App overall. Re player withdrawal. Is there a way to link some reason or statement as to why a player withdraws or is disqualified? Once I see my favorite player has withdrawn on the leaderboard, I need go search out on the internet why or why he was DQ’d. If I could just touch his name and be provided with an explanation it would be a great improvement to the app. Thanks.

Always a hole or two behind. This is really the best/ only suitable app for golf. However, I don’t understand why every other sport has live updates but this app is at least 15 minutes behind. The developers should check to see what all the other sports apps use to make live updates, to be more consistent. It’s not even worth looking at the app for the leaderboard if you have it on tv because you will be confused.

Love the App - Real Time Shot Tracker Awesome to Follow Favorite Players. Enjoy being able to follow specific players while on the course and getting updated every shot they hit. Also, as a golf junkie and someone who works in the industry having the ability to follow multiple Professional Tours is a huge plus. Keep up the good work!

So much better than it was before. this app use to be a piece of garbage but what they have turned it into is fantastic. if you were ever frustrated with the previous iterations of this app it’s without a doubt worth redownloading or checking out again.

Last version was better. I hate the updated app. On my phone I could view everything with the old version now things are cutoff on the left side. The default landing page should be the leaderboard as that is what most people are interested in. Why change things to the worse. If anyone actually views these comments then pay attention please

Great app for iPhone. Not so great for iPad! Now that the Golf Channel app is gone, wish you guys would do something about your app for iPads. Take for instance the top of the home page the little segments are so large you can’t watch them. So anyway that’s why I give it a four star but five star on iPhone

iPhone 15 Overheats. Love the app think it is really good but as of late it has been cause my phone to overheat very quickly and slows the entire phone down. The app is rendered useless once my phone gets that hot because nothing loads. Additionally if I don’t force quit it in the background it will continue to slow down the entire phone. This just recently started happening. Hope it can be fixed because I do really love the app

Frustrated with the leaderboard changes. For some reason the leaderboard search function has been removed. Now I need to scroll through a list of players in the field to favorite a player and track him for the tournament. This method is so much more time consuming for me as I run my fantasy golf league, and I hope the app team will put the search function back in place.

Great App. Especially enjoy using this app live at the tournaments. Wish the TourCast was a button on the Home Screen instead of buried in the menu. Also wish the leaderboard showed which hole each group was on.

Love the App; Show Event/Season Earnings Please. I like the new look and features, and being able to track my favorite players. The only thing I find annoying is that I have to go to ESPN to find earnings for each event- Why can’t I find that and season earnings to date right here?? Thanks!!

Updates are too far behind. Over and over I get so tired of the scores being up to two holes behind the TV. When you are trying to keep up and get things accomplished around the house you cannot use to app to check on scores. I have found many times that I can get more updated scores on the CBS Sports app and other places. You are supposed to be to most up to date 🙄😳😡

Favorite players do not update across platforms. Every week I change the players I want to watch(favorite for the week) and they do not stay updated across all my devices. Also, scoring is generally lagging behind, nowhere near real time. Also, the platform is soo late to update the scores. Like right now the tournament is over and it hasn’t updated all the players that have finished and it has been over 10 minutes

Thanks For Responding To My Concern!. My original 1-Star rating and review below have been addressed by the PGA Tour App developer, Thank You! They have given us w/ iOS below 11.0 a door into the App so we're back in business! It's good to be listened to, but great to be heard. Your latest upgrade requires iOS 11.0. Neither my iPad or iPhone is capable of updating beyond the last 10.3 upgrade. So now I have no access. The least you could have done is left us access to an earlier version or an avenue into the new one w/o upgrading to iOS 11.0. Now we have nothing and you've lost countless consumers. As usual the LPGA's app is still functioning PERFECTLY!

Bulky and hard to read.. The new and improved version is anything close to improved. It is bulky and bloated feeling. It takes way more maneuvering to get to alI the things I want to see because only a few players even fit on the leader board or tee times. I find myself going to other apps not devoted totally to golf to now get that information. Rarely now using this app which used to be the go-to for golf.

Why at player name’s incomplete. I like a lot about The PGA Tour app but what’s the deal with the player's names being grossly incomplete? Some have only one letter of the name displayed. Maybe if Titleist name was eliminated it would leave more room for the players name. It was suggested I update the app. The problem got better but some players still have incomplete names

Could improve. The app is sometimes glitchy; it closes on its own at least once a day. I also think the ability to search for a player in a particular tournament would elevate the user experience.

What’s up for grabs at each tournament. I love the PGA TOUR app but I’m always asked “what’s up for grabs”. Suggestion: add an info link at the header page for leaders that details $purse for top 5 & an explanation for future exemptions ….the Dell is an example, it’s difficult to find this info & if provided on your site it would surely be appreciated by golf fans 🏄‍♀️

Slight change. The only thing that’s annoying me is that its not possible to get a message on what their scores are on the next holes. So for example if it said like Tiger Woods played Birdie on 7 and then next message Tony Finau played Par on 9. That way i don’t always have to check the app to get the scores. So if that could be introduced, that would be lovely, because then I’d enjoy this app even more.

Poor statistics. Try finding an individual players weekly tour earnings. You can’t! The individual player stats page only shows you year to date earnings and career earnings. It would be nice to see week by week earnings and points accumulation. Everything on your site is slow to load. I deleted the app and reinstall it with no change. Others with better phones have the same experience. Come on guys wake up!

Slow, incorrect, embarrasingly bad. I don’t know who programmed the updates for the 2022 season, but the app is embarrasingly terrible at this point. I don’t know how they can have a product out there with the PGA name on it that is worse than every major tournament app and also worse than the shot trackers out there on betting sites. If I had to guess it was probably coded by someone related to someone related to the PGA executives.

App won't work with iPad. I've used this app for 6 or 7 years from my iPad & iPhone and have liked it. Just the last month the iPad version isn't operating properly. When I click on it, a screen requires an upgrade and directs me to the App Store. Once at the App Store the PGA tour app pops up and no way to upgrade. I use the app while watching TV during a tourney to see how my golf team is doing any given week and prefer the large screen of the iPad to my iPhone. I hope this can be fixed soon.

Not getting notifications. I am not getting notifications for players tee times, round start or watch live alerts or any notifications for this app, I deleted PGA Tour app and reinstalled the app, but didn’t received any notifications. I like the new app, but fix notifications problem. I have added players as favorites and also pressed the notification bell on right side, but still doesn’t get any notifications of that players.

Awful site. Why doesn’t the Tour’s own website list the earnings per player each week as part of the leaderboard recap. Why does it force fans to other golf sites for this? And why can’t I see a players results for each event played in a season combined on one page? ESPN has it. The PGA is an elitist organization trying to hide or deemphasize the cash portion of the game, instead focusing on FedEx points. No one I know gives two cents for Fed Ex Cup standings until just prior to the start of the playoffs. The constant tournament updates of FedEx Cup standings is a huge turnoff in March.

Exceptional and easy to use. You get all of the updated information that is currently available. I love jumping on and looking where my favorites are, what the leaderboard is, the teetimes, what channel you can watch it on because it’s always ever-changing.

Loads super slow. I have very fast internet and a new iPhone so I think the issue is the app: Super Slow opening and it is never current - you always land where you were last time. Requires another tap to upload current information and then you wait…& wait. TBH it has always been this way: slow and delayed getting the latest scores. Unfortunately it’s the only game in town so we are boxed in with this. Do better PGA!!

App doesn’t respond. I have this APP on my iPhone and iPad. It works great on my phone but about a month ago it stopped opening on my iPad. I’ve tried deleting the app and downloading again and it still won’t open. My iPad is updated to most current version. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PGA tour Updated. I very much like the presidents cup presentation. Apparently the leader board issue was a temporary glitch. It’s back to an excellent app. What I said before no longer applies ‘ The current version of pga tour provides less information and much more complication. It has lost most of its utility. App Unusable on iPad - on iPhone Score Refresh Non Existent. There is no component which recognizes iPad versus the iPhone. iPhone display is concise. iPad is a mess. The live updating of scores is pitiful. It can be holes behind. There does not appear to be a refresh option. ESPN app is truly dynamic so I use that. The Leaderboard page not intuitive. There’s nothing to clue you use tapping of the header items to change order of display. Hard to believe with the $100’s of millions of dollars the app is still bad after 5 months of this major release.

This app stinks. There are many reasons for golf fans to watch other forms of golf, this is one of them. This app is 20 minutes behind what is actually happening, you can’t follow the biggest tournament of the year shot by shot and it provides no insight on what is currently happening (other than a leaderboard that isn’t in real time). It’s an absolute joke. Outside of a couple dozen big names the PGA Tour has very little to offer, The US Open is on and unless you’re there or on Peacock you have no idea what’s currently happening

Wasn’t Broken. In the ages old adage, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” you may have missed something. You fixed it, and now all I want to see is missing. I could navigate from the leaderboard to other areas, if I wanted. The previous versions of the app functioned fine without the need to search for everything, and select the tour you want to see. I may be one of a very few that looked at tours other than the PGA; however, it should default to that one automatically. I’m not sure if I will keep the app if I can’t find things easily.

Too Limited. I generously gave this a 3 star. It’s really 2.5 stars. The app functions fine but it’s far too limited. You might as well just list the player names on the tour and be done with it given the limited info available. It’s better to use a web browser like Safari or chrome on your smart phone and go to the PGA Tour site that way than to use this app because the info offered is so sparse. Just a disappointing app.

Slow Updates. This app works well for checking leaderboards, tee times and general tour information. However, it is not great at allowing you to follow the action on course. The updates are very slow throughout each tournament and it’s almost impossible to follow a player from shot to shot continuously. I really do hope this is improved in the future and I would also like to see an update for the iPhone X.

Love the app. I love the PGA tour app. I especially love the play by play feature. When you can’t be there in person the app is the next best thing. The only thing that would make this t better is if it told you what club they were using when. That would add even another level of excitement. Thank you for supporting PGA golf.

Superb App!. The PGA Tour app offers quite the submersible experience. From their easy to navigate interface, to their myriad of perspectives…the effort put forth to satisfy the customer is palpable. So whether you’re a novice to this sport, or a well seasoned veteran; there is an interaction awaiting you! Enjoy!

Give people the choice on what layout to use. Using this app for years, new layout can be learned but still doesn’t compare to the old one. The news & articles are clearly more of a focus in the new, however it’s barricaded the convenience when accessing leaderboards & prior rounds. Scrolling the schedule takes longer, everything in general is still there it just takes longer. Can you let people run the old layout if they wanted?

Great for tournament attendees. I attended the Players Championship and this app was extremely useful. Every time I wanted some specific information about the players or the course, it was easy to find it. It sometimes took a while to update, but cell phone coverage was not real good.

Great way to stay updated “on the go”!. Excellent app to keep me “in the know” on my phone especially while out and about. The play by play option is perfect when following my favorite player!

Fire the App Developer!. Awful update to an already lame app. At least with the previous version you could see the leaderboard and details. The new app is so cluttered and the graphics so out of proportion that you can’t even see the full name of the players. Whoever was in charge of this update should be fired and also the point person at the PGA who approved this stupid update. Awful. I am using my browser to access the data online which is a 100x better than the app.

App good, widget not working. I like the PGA tour app for up to date information on my favorite golfers. I haven’t had the crashing problems experienced by other people. However, the widget in the Today view on my iPad Pro hasn’t worked for months now. I see the current tournament, but no standings or favorites. I’ve reported a number of times with no response back and no fix.

Ways to improve the app and my opinion of the app. Actually give it 3 and a half because I miss all the stats u get from the scorecard part like u can’t get how many birdies or eagles compared to the rest of the field and u don’t get all the yardages on tourcast like u would use to get so it’s nicer but u can make improvements quite easily

Previously great like Phil. One of my favorite apps previously. The leaderboard is quite slow to update, different from previous versions. Also, one of my favorite things to do was click on player profiles across the PGA tour, Canadian tour, and Kirk Ferry. Unfortunately, the profiles often do not display or take several clicks and re-clicks for anything to pop up. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this app and feel that you may find information pertaining to golf better elsewhere.

Can’t sign in…. I have used the app for multiple years, and was always signed. The latest update, however, for some reason signed me out and now i can’t log in. Tried the reset password a few different times (different days) and did not receive the e-mail to reset. Tried to sign up with a different email, and it wont continue the sign up siting an unauthorized e-mail.

Nothing works - Zero Stars. If you are thinking about downloading this app, Just DON’T!!!! Nothing will load after the last several updates. All I get now is “Error loading data please try again.” I can’t see the leader board, the schedule, make changes to my settings, delete my profile, the list goes on and on. The only thing that does work is if you had alerts setup before the app update that crashed everything. Although they don’t play and audible tone or vibrate you do still get them. Which is the only reason I still have this app. With the current state of gold you would think that the PGA would want to keep fans engaged. But evidently not. You keep draining the cash cow though and pay no attention to how you got to where you are. Worthless app!!!

Too many updates.. It seems like every time I want to use the app, there is a mandatory update. If you don't update, then you can't use the app. Either reduce the frequency of updates, or make them optional. To me it's really quite annoying. Also, it takes too long to load. Really a poorly designed and executed app.
