Nancy Skeen. I love my One Bible daily reading app. It keeps the Word with me where ever I am. It’s my own personally conviction, but I won’t allow myself to look at social media until I have done my Bible reading. It is helpful and comforting. I OFTEN send a portion or a chapter to my friends and loved ones I feel would profit from it for that day. I always get a positive response back. I thank God that I was raised in a family that believed that loving and serving God was important and necessary. My father was blinded in WW2 and always listened to the Bible on his cassette tapes back then. He tried to lead his family that way as well! I’m very thankfu❤️

Losing patience!. I started using this app a couple of years ago and really loved it. Paid for the upgrade to block adds over a year ago. Then the latest upgrade came along and it started freezing up and slowing down and my daily plan would start over every day and would have to manually scroll to the day I left off from. So I deleted the app and reloaded it. It was working great other than it would not let me buy the upgrade to remove adds. Every time I tap the feature to remove adds, the app closed. Now the app has become very unresponsive, freezes up, won’t let me tap a verse and copy and is very slow when trying to scroll. I have become very frustrated and can’t seem to get any response from tech support.

Not happy with the new version of this app. I have enjoyed this app for years but I was FORCED to this new version and I absolutely HATE IT! I despise it. I loved having my screen split into one half being able to manage my daily readings and the other half free to go to any book I wanted to read. Now I cannot do that, I have one HUGE screen and it lost ALL of the marked books that I had already AND I paid $1.99 to skip the ads and I and STILL getting ads! I am NOT a happy camper. I do not recommend this app any more. My mama always said “if it isn’t broke, don’t fix it” they did and they ruined it! PLUS because I only gave one star, it won’t let me send, won’t accept any of my screen names and I KNOW they aren’t all taken……come on!

Love having immediate access to so many translations!. I have the iPad app with phone access. It's wonderful to have The Word beside me all the time. I am in a weekly Bible Study and this app is a wonderful tool for study. I love being able to access so many different translations while studying, some of which I don't own in bound book form. I highly recommend this app!

Excellent. I have the "lite" version and I love it. NIV version of the Bible makes it so simple to ingest the Word of God. I have it on my tablet and my iPhone and I love it. I am in a weekly bible group and having this app helps me stay connected to the group readings while I am at work, in line at the grocery store without feeling defeated that I do not have my paper Bible with me. Amazing app for a new Christian looking to have the convenience or even a "seasoned" believer. Could not say any more great things about his app. User friendly, no glitches for me

Still Waiting. I have sent an email to the app support address and not received any help or useful information. Before the update, there was a symbol next to the verse where I had written a note regarding the content of the verse. Now there is no symbol. When I go to my notes, when anything at all happens, a huge volume of my notes appear, but without reference to the verse where I left the note. In fact, the only way the notes are “organized” is by a date—and every single note shows the same date. Sometimes I am able to search my notes by a word, but I do not remember what words I used in any particular note—that’s why I wrote myself notes. Now, when I try to go to my notes, the app shuts down and I cannot access them at all. Is it possible for someone in your tech crew to email me a document containing all of my notes so that I go over them and figure out where they were located in my Bible? I trusted you with my observations, reflexions, and insights. Now I’ve lost them. Or, that is, you lost them. chuck smith, jr.

My resource search. I use this NVI as an evening spiritual recovery from the day that has exhausted all my energies while trying to reach out to HIM. In the middle of reading these scripture texts, all of a sudden the biblical printed word locks up: wants a rating, then knowing in doing so, it will lead me away from HIS advice which I am seeking by having to write a review. Don't get me wrong, it's format is just what I need.

App crashing. I am not sure what’s going on now but this app has been crashing every time I open it up today it has crashed four times while in my study. I have an 11 promax iPhone it has been updated to the recent versions of the iOS so I am not sure why this keeps crashing. Please look into this I would really appreciate it because if I have to delete it and try to reinstall it again I’m afraid I’ll lose all of my notes and messages that i have in the app

Offline where’s the library?. I need to be able to read my Bible offline. The app says I need to go to the library to download, except WHERE IS THAT? Also, When the new update happened awhile ago, all my highlights, personalized comments, etc where gone. So not thrilled about that! This has been my Bible of choice, would like that to remain. So help me figure this out. Thank you.

I love it!!. I have completely switched over to using this Bible application on my iPad Pro! I love it very much for daily readings. I wish there were better tools for studying, I wish that you could set up daily reading programs, or I wish that the back button would take you back to your previous page that you were on rather than just back one chapter. But those are minor irritations the greater delight is ease of looking up other verses and jumping quickly around through the Scriptures! I use it daily!

No Support. Update: The “support team” responded to my review and said my email may be going to spam and gave me an email address to use. The email address they have provided is the email address I’ve been using. I sent now a fourth email a week ago and still no reply. I don’t believe there really is a support team or at least one that answers all support emails. If my email is going to spam, why didn’t they look for it and then answer it? I still get ads and the syncing of books that have been read do not sync across other devices. I’ll now reduce from 3 stars to 2 stars until I get some support. I’ve been using this app now for about 2 months. The app has worked well for the most part. In the beginning I paid to be free of ads. Then they forced me to start using a newer app. Since using the new app the ads are always there even though I’m still paying. I’m logged in and I’ve hit restore many times and I still have the ads. I’ve sent an email to support with the email the app provides three times over the 2 months and I’ve never received a reply. I don’t believe they have interest in providing help. Mark

Horrible Update. This as many recent posts said was once a great app…you could mark off chapters as you finished to easily track progress. You could highlight verses and it saved them. It was simple and easy to use…no longer the new update removes all of that; loses all you history, does not allow you to mark of what you’ve read and worst of all it is highly unstable….you want to scroll down a verse and it’s so sensitive your 3 chapters from where you were. Time for a new app…these folks clearly aren’t interested in a functional app or they’d roll back to the previous version until. The fox the horribly botched update.

Ads. I have been using this app for a few years and loved it. I especially like the fact I can track my reading by chapter. However, in one of the latest updates advertisements were added. It was a bit embarrassing when I first opened the latest update during church and the audio from a video started blaring. That coupled with the fact that every time my phone or iPad goes to sleep with the app already open, and I awake it, the app acts like it’s being reopened and the same add pops up. This is way too distracting and annoying, especially if I am praying in between reading passages. I decided to download a different app, and am dumping this one.

Criminal. Have had this app for years. Purchased two off line versions. PaId to remove ads. Now, I have to remember to turn off WiFi and cellular service before opening or have to endure ads. And it’s embarrassing to open the app in church and have an ad start yapping. Something’s happened recently where my purchased Bibles will not work UNLESS Wi-Fi or cellular service is engaged which brings me back to ads. And having to make sure my volume is down so they don’t play in church. I paid for things that have been taken away. To aggravate the situation I have sent emails with NO responses. I am sending this review today as well as another email to the help-less help desk to hopefully get this resolved if not I am deleting the app and going back to the old fashioned physical Bible. Not happy with you guys at all. It’s one thing to have a loved app go wrong like a game and another when it is so important to my life. I do wish there was someone to call. This anonymous stuff is bad.

Beware - Inappropriate ads!. This app used to be ok. I used it at church services when I forgot to bring my Bible or just to look up a quick verse when on the go. Recently (last month or so) I find that I need to watch a video ad each time I use the app. That is bad enough, but some of the ads are very inappropriate (woman stroking a man’s bare torso, etc.). Unfortunately my kids have witnessed these ads several times during evening devotions. I’ll pass! I am now deleting this app and looking for something better suited for Christians - which is the point after all.

I was once a lost soul now I’m found. It’s a continued joinery discovering the mysteries of Gods word this bible app has been more than just help to me it helps me to understand the language of the Bible to relate from a easier perspective . I thank you guys so mush for creating an app of this sort now I’m more understanding of the stories that I read and it makes me more aware of the person that god has created me to be thanks again .

Ads in a bible app doesn't sit well with me. I'm having a hard time giving a bible app only 2 stars. But the fact that they make a user watch ads right when they open the Holy Bible doesn't sit right with me. What if someone on the fence about Jesus happened to use this app? I worry if it was their first time trying to read the Bible something silly like that could turn them off to the whole idea. I have no problem with you guys putting in a tithe/offering section somewhere in the app. For now I'll be sticking with the YouVersion for my Bible app. I really hope you guys will take this into consideration. Matthew 10: 8-9

Excellent Bible app. A very user-friendly Bible app. I especially like the book-chapter-verse selection button rather than the scroll wheel option some other Bible apps offer. It is much easier and faster to simply select from the grid. I also like the option of simply selecting the chapter. It cuts out yet another step in finding the passage you want. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs a quick, easy to use Bible app.

Fine app. This app works well. I especially like the buttons used to select the chapter and verse as opposed to the more common scroll device. It's faster and easier to tap only twice for the 20th chapter and the 30th verse rather than scrolling from one in each case. One small annoyance: when the app asked me to write a review I was actually in a Bible class at church so I selected "remind me later." Then the reminder came up EVERY time I wanted to look up another passage. That's a little needy and overly persistent if you ask me. Additionally, I frequently want search for a specific word or phrase and that is either difficult or I haven't figured it out yet. RLDVM

My most important ap. I love being able to read it any time or anywhere I am. I used to carry a New Testament but I wore it out and pages were lost. This is in my phone and I always know where I left off reading. I JUST DISCOVERED THAT I CAN HIGH LIGHT A PASSAGE AND FORWARD IT TO ONE IN NEED! If I could ask for one thing to improve it would be that some names I can’t pronounce. I would love to highlight it and hear how it is supposed to be heard!

June 8th Update (4.0.3) Still NOT Working!. The latest update issued on June 8, 2022, app version 4.0.3 still has not fixed the notes/highlights/bookmarks bug, which has left this app unusable for anything other than basic reading. Notes, highlights, and bookmarks STILL cannot be edited, do not save properly, and show incorrect dates. The app is also still not synchronizing properly with the server which shows 79 notes, but only 4 appear on the app. After years of using and paying for advanced features, I guess it’s time to move on to another app since I’ve already lost years worth of data saved to my account and now I’ve lost faith in the developers ability to fix their issues and not lose my data again.

Bible App.. Just recently got this 1Bible app and am well pleased with it. Now I can choose my preferred Bible translation (NASB) and daily reading is much easier. I can adjust the print size, the color of the background for the print, mark the Book and chapter as read, switch from Old Testament to New Testament in a matter of seconds, and still have the words of Christ in traditional red letters for easy recognition. I have the Bible in my Kindle library, but this app makes reading on a daily basis much easier. Many thanks to the creators of this app. For me, it is a Godsend. I still have my print versions of His Word in my book shelf at the head of my bed to use anytime I choose, but for my daily reading, this app is wonderful.

Long time user very disappointed. Like most of the other commenters here in 2012, I have been very disappointed with the changes and “upgrades” made this year. I have used this app for years with few issues and have been very satisfied. I made in-app purchases so as to help the developers. During the last year, however, changes were made that have rendered the app unusable. The two biggest issues have been that my reading history is gone. And that leads to the second issue. We’re told to log in and sync our data. It appears that the data is being synced, however, my reading history has never been restored and I am forced to sign in every single time. I can’t believe that you folks haven’t just rolled back the updates. These issues have been known for months. I gave up trying two months ago, but logged back in today to see if anything has changed. Sadly, the answer is no.

Would like a refund, please.. I have been enjoying this Bible App. I like the daily reading option. I thought I’d purchase a audio NLT version for $5.97 I think. Somewhere around $6. I found out afterwards you have to be a subscriber to unlock the audio. Right now you can only get a 30 second sample. To be a subscriber you need to pay a weekly subscription. I have no plans of doing that. So, I am out the money I spent. I tried to contact the support on the app but haven’t gotten past the options for choosing a mail server. Very disappointing.

Fast and smooth but I need commentaries. Coming from anther Bible App, I thought I would give this a run. I find this app missing a few features. I love the Audible feature. However the library is missing some needed tools. For example I prefer the Life Application NIV & the KJV WITH Strong’s built in. My current app Olivetree has an extensive library and each book has links which take you to notes, comments and Strong’s dictionary. However the books and bibles are also twice as expensive. After some us I’ve decided to stay with Olivetree app. If you’re a casual Sunday attender. This app is great for you.

Disappointed. I’ve been using this app for some time now. I’ve dealt with some of the glitches in the past, and it’s been doing well for a long time now. This morning I got up, and the app had been updated. I even subscribed to a monthly donation, and paid for ad free. Now it won’t even open anymore. I have deleted it and reinstalled several times, and I still can’t get it to load. I ended the subscription until I am able to use it again.

Reviewing the Bible App. I use the app everyday along with my Bible study books. I love how I can mark the books I’ve read. The app has been changed since I started using it. For instance I don’t much care for the ads. Perhaps you need them to help sponsor the app. At times tapping on the book or chapter to change to another book or chapter is non-responsive and when I swipe to go to the next page it appears to move but it will show a new chapter title however it’s the previous chapter text I hope all this makes sense. I’m using an iPad. Please let me know if this happens to others. My iPad seems to work properly with everything else but one never knows. Overall I really do like this very much. Janie

Frozen. I have been using this app for a few years now and it has been great their have been no problems until now, I can’t figure this out I went to change to another scripture reading and the page froze on me, I’ve tried to go to another book but it won’t move, I have turned it off and on again tried opening different places in the app but it’s still stuck on the same page.

Loved It B4 Upgrade. This was one of my favorite apps until it upgraded. Now, each time I pull up the app, it pulls up an ad 1st. No problem when WiFi is available, but the majority of the time, I’m out & about with no WiFi & it takes eternity for the ad to try to load & it completely blocks your ability to see the Scriptures until the ad fullly loads & displays. It’s becoming increasingly difficult & made me now need another Bible app as back up when this one won’t load. They want u to pay to remove the ads, but I ALREADY paid for the different bible versions I wanted. It really stinks for those of us that were already here b4 the upgrade to OneBible. We should’ve been grandfathered in or something. Ijs.

Don’t know what is going on. I have been using One Bible app for several years. It worked great and I paid for several versions to be downloaded so that I could read them “off line” (no internet connection required). Today I tried to open it in Bible class and the interface looked entirely different and it wanted me to “login”. It also informed me that I had no internet connection. Tried it at home where I know that it was indeed connected to internet, same thing happened. NOTE: Previously it was working perfectly WITHOUT an internet connection.

It just stops!. I’ve written this review before! I enjoy this app very much but as I read and at the end of the page, and at times before I reach the end of the page, everything stops! I cannot scroll down to the end of the page or it will not allow me to turn the page. This is the only app I’ve ever had this problem with. Others have not had this problem or have fixed it. Why can’t you? Otherwise I would give you 5 stars. Next time I will give you only 1 star.

Truly loving this awesome app. I have been installing several bible apps for almost two hours and bought some of them to remove ads but they were not worthy at all and finally I found this awesome app.... this has several versions in it and it was completely free and there is no ad popping up.... blessed are the developers of this app.... my father in heaven give you everything you need from the richest in Christ... amen

No longer easy to use. I’ve had his app for about 4 years and loved it, but finally gave up and deleted it. Every time you open it there’s an add and they just seem to keep getting longer, it’s faster to just Google whatever passage I’m looking for at this point. There isn’t even an option to pay more for no adds. Especially if I’m bringing something up to read in a prayer time or Bible study, it’s incredibly disruptive to wait for an add to finish before reading and just reminds me of how commercialized religion can be.

Misquoted scripture. I had this app for a couple of months before I noticed they had a mistake. Under the reading plans for "Breathe Life Day 24" section they have 1 Samuel 12:14 listed like this "But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for the Lord, the son born to you will die." I didn't remember the Bible verse that way so I looked it up online in six different versions and I looked it up in my bible. Here is what it should say. "Now if you fear and worship the Lord and listen to His voice, and if you do not rebel against the Lord's commands, then both you and your king will show that you recognize the Lord as your God." This was a good lesson for me on the importance of knowing God's word and checking it. Be wise and careful. God bless.

Bad attempt to make it better. Latest update really screwed this up. It has many flaws before, but was better than it is now. There are tons of words missing. It is so bad that I cannot even tell what is being said in certain verses. Ridiculous. Then there are areas where a single word in the text is extremely huge. The text is completely messed up now. It’s really difficult to get the meaning of many verses when there are so many words that are now missing. This is a tragedy of scripture.

EDIT (again): crashes. This app was awesome, almost perfect, until the most recent update ruined it. Adds constantly, much less user friendly, a real shame. This was a 5 star app four days ago. EDIT: The most recent update fixed the aforementioned issues! Thank you! 2nd EDIT: All of a sudden, my app wouldn’t open yesterday. Crashed on startup every time. So I deleted and redownloaded (losing all of my progress), and it was working for a while this morning, but now it’s crashing again. Help!

Was great. Now frustrating. Don’t buy this app.. I’ve had this app for many years (10 maybe) when a while ago an “update” undid all I liked (and paid for) about it. Originally, I paid $25 because this app had the 1984 version of the NIV and there were no ads. After the update (maybe 2 years ago) it started making me watch an ad before getting to the Bible which has been super inconvenient when sitting in church trying to flip to various verses, plus I paid for ad free! So I emailed the apps contact. No response. Emailed again. Still no response. Is there anyone there? Despite this, the NIV84, which is specifically what I paid the $25 for was still accessible on their app so I stuck with it. But as of recently, the NIV84 has disappeared. I couldn’t feel more taken advantage of. I emailed one more time this morning. Hopefully I’ll hear back. Don’t put yourself through the frustration of this experience. This app is no longer worth it. They just want your money but aren’t there for you and don’t stand behind their product.

Paid for no ads, they display anyway. One Bible continually updates the app to a version that shows ads even though I paid extra not to have ads. Sometimes, ads with sound cause a big noisy disruption during a Bible Study class. It is always an unwelcome delay and set of extra keystrokes to get the ads closed. Even when I go through the App Store hassles of getting credit for my no-ads version, again and again, One Bible seems to think it is okay to annoy me by promoting their own products.

Good Job. Except for the problems with our applications crashing over and over the last couple weeks after the upgrade, we have greatly enjoyed this app. It’s simple and easy to use. Now that the crashing problem is gone, we’re back to enjoying the Word every day at our fingertips in our phone.

The NIV app is a blessing. This bible app is a blessing because bibles are a little heavy and bulky to carry and with the app you easily find the discipleship you want to read you don’t have to flip pages to find your chapter all I do is type in the discipleship and chapter and the scriptures come up on my phone screen it also encourages me to read more because it’s always with me. Thank you God for modern technology

Wisdom at My Fingertips. I have very few apps. As a writer, I write books and blog posts by hand. I also advocate not being too connected to technology. During my morning meditations and reading, I like the app because I don’t have to boot up my computer. I can still be in a quiet peaceful state and look up any verses that I need. I also like the various Bible versions to compare. My preference is still to pick up any book, especially the Bible, however, this app is a good complement. Thank you for this resource.

Ok but…. I’ve used this app for couple years. Liked it alot mostly cuz I can use different translations AND can track my reading. But I’m going to uninstall it and cancel my subscription due to really just one thing: over and over now every time there’s an update I lose all my reading progress. This is SOOO frustrating. I have no option to accept the new update. I just get up of a morning, open the app and all my progress to date is gone. I’m beyond frustrated - sorry but I’m done

Each update creates another problem. Was 5 star before the last 2 updates.. The last update created ads that you have to close before you can view the content. The newest update caused more problems. As soon as I open the app and close the ad, the app shuts down. It takes at least 2 tries before it will stay open. I hate to lose this app because it has some really helpful features. I am writing this review so the developers will be aware of the issues and can fix them.

Been using for 10 years. Not a good app.. I originally purchased the NASB app ($30) almost 10 years ago. I have thousands of highlights and notes. I was basically forced into using the new app (OneBible) a while back. I’ve had issues with both apps since the beginning. I’ve contacted support multiple times and it isn’t good. The sync feature doesn’t work right for multiple devices, the dictionary lookup doesn’t work anymore, I bookmarked a page and couldn’t clear it and kept pressing the bookmark only to see a dozen bookmarks for each time I tried to clear, I now have to pay to remove adds that blare out when I’m trying to be quiet, and I could go on. It seems every time something is fixed, another issue arises. I have been a software developer for over 30 years and I know how software development and quality control should work and it isn’t like this. I’m so many years and so far into this app that I hate to change now, but I’m almost done! There are other options and I would definitely recommend you search for something different.

No page flipping and always have the Bible with me. I like having the Bible on my phone so I can read it anywhere and don’t have to be flipping pages of a big book. I can get to another chapter and verse so fast. I like being able to switch to other version if something is not clear. The only thing I don’t like is not being able to write in the margins.

Terrible. I’ve used this app for about five years, at that time I paid for the premium version and it was great. Since that time updates have slowly made it worse and now it’s awful. My offline bibles all cost $6 and the whole app is less user friendly. Find something else. -Update So I gave this app another chance since the developer said they were still working out some bugs for the recent update and not only are same bugs still there over a month later (the offline bible I already paid for and ad removal I already paid for needs to be paid for again), there is now multiple instances on words missing from verses, as well as words being in the wrong place. They have completely ruined this app since not only is it less user friendly, it’s now not accurate

Diminishing return. I have been using this app for years. Each time I have read through the NKJV there have been subtle grammatical errors in the text and I have notified them. They have gotten much more intrusive with the ads and continue to prompt the free subscribers to pay. This week there was apparently an “upgrade”. When I returned to where I had left off, there were words repeated, verses started and not finished, and words missing in the text. When this happened numerous times in the same chapter (Luke 19 in this case) I decided I cannot trust this app. I am forced to delete it. You cannot serve two masters. Don’t offer a free version at all if you are so wanting money and tend to your product or you will lose subscribers. I have daily enjoyed this app until now. Very sad

Blessing from God!. I love this app!!!!! I like how there are different colors of highlighters and underlines. I like the little extra things in this app such as the daily bible verses and lists of each chapter in a specific book. This app is very helpful. If you want to write a note you can do that in this app too. It’s all in one place very organized and neat. Only thing I don’t love is the new update. I don’t like that whenever I get on the app after already being on it it has to reload which is irritating, however it doesn’t take very long to do so. I hope you get this app!! I recommend it 110%!!

Upgrades in last six months are horrible. This app was great until a few months ago. I’ve used it for at least six years. I purchased several offline Bible versions and paid to remove ads. But the last few upgrades have been horrible. Every time I open the Bible, I have to restore my purchases. It’s lost all my read/unread data from the past six years. They are requiring you to register (so they can send you spam emails) to remember your purchases and reading history. I wish I could get my money back because it’s horrible now.

The Bible app. I really like this Bible because I love to read the Bible. When you can’t find your actual Bible you can hop right on to this app. Well what if you lost your spot? Good for you there is a book bark. You can also klick a button down at the bottom of the page and it says something about you already read the page. You can klick that just in case. I’m only 11 years old and I love this app.

No longer my favourite app. I preferred this App before the more recent update. This new version presents me with several obstacles ( questions to respond to) before I can access the texts I’m seeking. This is a general nuisance and particularly not appreciated when using this version during a study. No longer my favourite app.

The NIV bible app.. I find the ads at the beginning of the app unnecessary and inappropriate.

Disappointing. God’s word is good. This app isn’t. I get adverts every time I open it, even if I’m only switching between apps. If I turn my data off, I can’t open the app. Also, sometimes scrolling through chapters doesn’t work - it says ‘Genesis 2’ at the top, but is still displaying the words from Genesis 1.

Was great - now disappointing- killed by ads. Have been using this app for many years and loved it. Sadly recently it appears they have changed their business model. Many features are now behind a subscription. But the worst aspect is the ads. Ads on startup and pop ups at other times. Makes the app unusable in church or you could be embarrassed by some video add playing music while the church quietly listens to the bible reading. Not to mention the longer startup time for the app as it also loads the ads. The bible reading in church is nearly completed before you are allowed to look it up. Over the years i have purchased a number of bible versions through this app, have 100’s of highlights and notes but sadly I’m nearly at the point of giving up with this app. Please fix it, please.....

Everyday Reader. Very easy to understand and fun to read

Glitchy!!. Previously I loved this Bible app. This app has become very frustrating with frequent drop outs. Basically unusable now.

Gods very own book to us. If only we could get everyone everywhere to read this book, your ap allows the great journey throughout the bible, thank you GOD OUR HEAVENLY FATHER LORD PRECIOUS PRECIOUS JESUS CHRIST AND THE HOLY PURE SPIRIT come alive and change us all STRAIGHT THROUGH THE HEART

User friendly. The NIV App is so easy to use, I use it everyday, it always amazes me theres a message I need everyday, if there is a word I am unsure of I just tap it and once its highlighted tap define. From there I can find the meaning. I can read from the Bible anywhere anytime, which is pretty cool

amazing. God bless this app

Dishonest. I have enjoyed more than three years of reading this in NIV on my iPad . Now it has been invited with ads with music and videos and one time I sat in church opened it up and music started playing I was totally shocked and offended makes this NIV on my iPad total garbage get it off please or I’ll delete it and I will share this on Facebook

App was upgrade. App has apparently been upgraded recently. I have lost all data. Have not been able to work out how to recover anything. Can any one help?

Great features. Easy to look up chapters and verses. Great for looking up parts of passages

Good at the start and downhill recently. I’ve had this app for almost a year now and I paid for the weekly subscription to be able to unlock the audio. Recently it has been bombarded with ads upon ads and I downloaded the KJV Bible audio but ever since the new update it, I can no longer access it. Please restore to the previous state.

Jo. Excellent great

Very handy. Good app, works well, can recommend.

Review. Very easy to use

Easy to Read. Find the NIV easy to read. Love reading God's word.

Great!. Enjoying it!

Bible review. Bought it with no ads now every time I use it has ads on it disappointing

Once great. Now dysfunctional. Every time I open it I have to reinstall the new upgrade.

This is one terrible Bible App!. This App constantly crashes so you can barely use it. There are unrelated ads that you have to get through every time you open the App and I paid for this. The old version of the App was fine until they gave you no choice but to download the new one because the old one was crashing too. What a bad experience. I have had this for years and had no problem till now.

NIV review. I find I very easy to use

Great stuff. I think this is one of the better bible apps.

Fantastic bible tool. This is a fabulous product. When I'm teaching, I can have several passages highlighted in advance ready for either myself or the children I'm teaching to read from. Kids love to read the bile from an iPad. I can write notes from my studies of a passage or from a sermon. This product is transportable, versatile and totally useful. I recommend it highly. Nena

Add pop up. Too many add pop ups, very distracting.

Excellent and handy.. Some times I can’t access it. Other wise, its very handy. Praise God.

Mr. Great App and easy to read, love it!

Commercials are the way of the world. Stop the commercials. This has drifted you into the way of the world. Gods economy is different to mans economy. Turn from your fallen ways.

Excellent app. Easy to use. Can look up books and verses really easily.

Me. Disappointed with the ads, they have no place in a Bible.

Good mobile Bible. Always good to be able to access this Bible easily and verses quickly. Find need to understand the tools better so it can be even better utilised. Problem in bus for quiet times, that the smallest bump highlights a verse then another - too sensitive? My fingers could be too big as well. Scriptures good to read, even if hard to understand sometimes.

Functional Bible App. Have been using this app for a while now and whilst I am not tech savvy I can even use it successfully, so this is a user friendly app for sure 🙂

Ex user .... Ads at startup - no way. Can’t press delete quick enough

Disappointing. I paid for this app and have used it every day for years. Recently I have been getting advertisements. The last one was for a Game of Thrones audiobook and it had loud audio to it! Really handy if you’re sitting in church or tonight when I was rocking my baby to sleep. This is not what I paid for and completely inappropriate for a Bible app.

New to the Bible?. I decided to read the Bible properly and try and understand everything in context. First I thought it was jumping around a lot when Using the day by day section, But overtime I realised there is logic to it. And my own faith has become much stronger. So if you’re wanting to explore the Bible I strongly suggest you start here. Thank you for creating this software.

Stuff up. You completely ruined this Bible app with the latest up-date. Fix it please.

Annoying ads. I really enjoyed using this app until ads start to pop up and doesn’t allow me to close it until it finishes. Quite annoying and disappointing!

No good. What a piece of junk. Always crashes. Worst bible app. All it does is highlight the need of the fruit of the Spirit. Patience.

Excellent. Excellent - very user friendly. Easy to read and to navigate.

One Bible app. I would like to cancel my purchase

Elizabeth. I love this app. It is easier use and to turn pages than other versions of the bible. The devotion is really good as well. I love having it on my phone, no iweight to carry around and with me all the time. I use it for my daily devotions and can encourage others reading the word to them. Much appreciated, thank you.

Ads. I can’t believe there is now unavoidable ads every time I open the app. Even if my phone goes into standby while I’m reading, I have to endure another ad to get back to it. And if I turn my data off, the app won’t load. Really? On a bible app?

Terrific bible app. Great bible app - 5 stars excellent

Driven to distraction by ads. After much searching I chose this Bible app for it’s simple interface and lack of distracting “features”. Recently however it has started distracting me with full-screen ads... Every. Time. I. Open. Or. Switch. Back. To. The. App. Argh!!! I know it’s hard to make enough money to support an app in the App Store but this is not the answer for a Bible app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent, very handy app. I am using this app for my day reading. Very handy and best app -Sam

Awesome simply awesome. I love reading the NIV on my phone every day but the search engine for books is awesome Cheers and of course God bless

Excellent commentary. Very quick and easy to use-thank you.

All Good. Very descriptive in a sound mind.

Latest Update Won’t Restore Bibles Purchased Years Ago. I can’t restore Bible purchased using older versions of the app. Please fix. It will only restore the Remove Adds purchase.

Been destroyed by ads. Been using this app for years and it was great. Sadly it has been totally destroyed in the latest update by the inclusion of ads. Opened it in church the other day and up springs a very LOUD gambling ad! That’s it ..... I’m not using it anymore. Plenty of other Bible apps out there.

Nice app. Very good app!! The only thing that bugs me is you can’t read the variety of bibles they have offline. It’s strictly an online app. It probably doesn’t take much data anyway but I’d like it to go offline too. Other than that it’s an excellent app.

Bible. Easy to read and understand!

Praise god. Great work

Looking for another app. This update is embarrassing. Can I give it negative stars? Lost my subscription Doesn’t recognize my credentials Ads are annoying If I was the developer I would be ashamed to publish this. It is truly a shame that this replaces an awesome app.

Impressive!. It is very exciting to be able to choose from a wide variety of versions. I also like the ability to highlight and make notes. Excellent app.

Wonderful app. Wonderful app.

The down-loadable NIV Bible. I was trying to read a chapter of the Bible a day and then spend some time in prayer. Reading the NIV down-loadable Bible is much more profitable. The daily readings have so much more in them: verse of the day, word of the day, verses that have the word of the day in them, a chapter to read, and a devotional. I get much more out of my daily time with the Bible using the NIV down-loadable Bible. Thank-you for putting the NIV Bible on line!

ADDS in app. Deleted app due to adds

Good app. It is easy to explore and love the topic section where you can find related bible verses by each topic. Love it!

Excellent. Plusieurs fonctions facilitant la lecture, marque pages et excellente traduction

Amazing 😉. This app is great, provides you with everything you need, and gives you easy access to your favourite verses!!!!!! It’s a great app 😃😄😁😆😂😃😀👍🏽

Easy & Convenient. These app have given my brain easy & convenient way, just a touch on the book name, the chapter, & the verse it’s ready to read. So many help menus to further my reading or research. I highly recommend

Advertising. I really like the bible but the fact that there’s constant advertisements is very annoying.

Disappointing after serving me well for years. The latest upgrade keeps crashing on both my iPhone 8 and IPad Pro. I cannot use it. The adverts and the constant syncing are so annoying and it doesn’t remember my details or bibles I’ve purchase. Please please please remove the ads for paid bibles and set a time frequency for syncing, not every time I move between the app and my notes or other apps. It’s now unusable and I’ll be looking for something else unless it improves. 😟

Choose a different Bible app. Awful update. So many ads and the app keeps crashing. More difficult to use than the app is replacing. Very disappointed

Ads?!. I bought my pervious version so I could avoid this. If you want ads in a free version fine, but if we paid money for it there shouldn’t be an ad whenever the app is opened. If there’s a way to turn it off for a paid version that I missed, please let me know. Thanks.

Too many ads. It was a great bible app until all the ads started... I’ll have to let this one go

Mr. Alex. It’s a great app. Maybe it’s me but when I use the search, and install a phrase, I haven’t been able to get anything at all. Makes it frustrating when I know part of a verse but can’t get any results. All else is great! Recommend to everyone.

My subscription. I read my One Bible every morning for my wife’s & my devotions. I love God’s word & your app brings that to us daily. The only issue I have is that, every 4th day or so when I open it, I am asked to purchase it again & I have to click on the restore purchase again. Could you please tell me how I can stop this. It is frustrating. Thank you.

Latest update ruins user experience!!. It was a great app until this latest update. Now, there is an pop up ad every single time I switch to the app. If I did not hit exactly at the ‘x’ to close it, it would take me to the web link ... which is not what I want. So I have to switch back to the app. Then another ad!!! Annoying!!! If this keeps up, I’ll have to get another app for this purpose.

A Bible with pop up ads? Shame on you. A Bible with pop up ads? Shame on you

International bible. To whom it might concern. I would like be able to use audible reading of the bible.

Ads. I want to open God’s word, not ads for preachers...talk about putting a focus on man rather than the Almighty. Sad day this update came out. I also had the ad lock up the app. Nice green page with a number 1 that morning rather than life changing red letters. Again sad day. Reconsider please.

Great version. This NIV version is linked to the 1984 version which is the best version I think and is on par for the best NIV version ever!

Inconsistent. I really liked this app, but now it is unstable. If often crashes upon opening and it also has glitches going from chapter to chapter. Sometimes when scrolling from one chapter of a book, it will have the same chapter repeated but labelled as the next chapter.

Good app! Actually very good app!. I get to read many different versions of The Bible on one app! That’s really good! Plus you can sign up to receive daily scripture readings and you can also use the reading plan to read the whole Bible!

So many ads. Every time you exit the app for even a second you are faced with another ad. I get why ads are important but it gets old really fast.

Great on the go!. I appreciated the app especially as we travelled last year. I like how it has options of categories of study that one can organize reading by. I also used the daily scripture reading along with the interpretive/inspirational paragraph and felt ready and connected with God for each day. It became my "church" when there was no English speaking service nearby me. Thank you!

Plans. Every morning I get up around 5 am to spend quiet time with God, study the Word and read the Word and have found many “Plans” provoke thought and have taught me about God’s Word and how I can apply it to my life. It has been a complete blessing.

Adapt to features - difficult for me. Maybe that entering of the 8th decade, I do net find digitalized to be part of my breathing;I would, however, loved to have had a ‘mentoring’-guide to introduce to me a stepwise teaching.

Awesome!. The NIV version is easy to read and this app is fabulous for keeping notes on different readings as I study God's word. It's great to have on my phone wherever I am during the day.

Low score because of the ads. No option to get rid of ads. The ads are video, loud and not related to the bible at all. Very disappointing. 15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables. 16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!” John 2 15-16.

Review. This app is not free it gives you a whole bunch of bible versions that are not free.

Unusable in church. Paid for several versions and now unusable because of adding noisy videos that I have to watch every time I open. Totally unethical to do this to customers.

NIV Bible. NIV Bible is handy and awesome

Not good anymore. Paid for the previous version only to be forced to upgrade to this version due to the other one crashing. After upgrade I found that this new app is full of ads. Tried to restore purchase and the button doesn’t even work. The button to pay and remove the ads does work (how convenient). I’m not going to pay again for the same app I already paid for to remove the annoying ads. I can’t use the previous app either because every time I open it it crashes. Ripoff!! Time to find a new app. Way to ruin it guys.

NIV app and treatment of customers is bad. Very disappointed to not be able to access the NIV84. Like so many others, I’m now looking at other translations.

Ads.... Have to let this one go. The ads are too much.

heiresses thanks. Just checking to make

Review. Littered with advertisements, otherwise excellent

NIV?. I have changed the NIV to the NLT because that is what I was using for several years before it disappeared a few weeks ago. I enjoy the way Just 1 Word was laid out and organized and happily used it for several years. Then the ads started and requests to sign up for things. It was disappointing to someone who just wanted to enjoy the Bible. I paid the $ to stop the ads and paid more $ to purchase a second copy of Just 1 Word to see if that would help. I kept using in first copy as it had all my underling and highlighting. Then about 10 days or maybe 2 weeks ago my first copy of Just 1 Word disappeared. I’ve tried, and my kids have tried, to help me recover my first copy of the Bible, but to no avail. I contacted ‘Kyle’ in costumer service and he could not help me. All I’ve been able to do is download yet another copy of Just 1 Word that continues to be titled NIV Bible even though I’ve changed it to NLT. Clearly something isn’t working. I suppose I’ll eventually have to find a more user friendly Bible, but I’m sad because for years I really enjoyed the use of Just 1 Word. Thank you for caring about your users satisfaction level. Nola Renfrew

NIV. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

NIV bible. Great read. I read as often as I can every day.

Ads are unbearable. Loved this bible app at first but then the ads became longer, louder and more often, to the point of being unbearable. I’ve now deleted this app off my phone.

Good concept. I’m happy with this and appreciative.. learning lots of good

App not connecting. Please readjust or fix, it keeps blacking out/ crashing. Too much advertising, very distracting when trying to focus on the Word.

NIV Bible. I really like the new quick guide for moving between chapters and verses. If I didn't lose my wireless Bible every time there is an update I wouldn't have any complaints.

One Bible. This app has been closed down for days now for maintenance? What is taking so long? Is it ever coming back up? I have been doing my Bible studies everyday with this app and it keeps me on track. If it doesn’t come back up then I have no record of where I am and what I have completed. I really miss my readings. Are you updating and will you be back?

Keeps Crashing. It takes me at least 5 times to open the app because it constantly crashes once I open it, even before I scroll or do anything

too many ads. I paid for bible tp be able to read a bible, not look at the many ads that pop up. This app used to be good but now there are just way too many ads considering it is the same price as the paper copy. Don’t buy this app unless you want to look at the many ads!

Why's you change. Ihad this app for years. Paid the subscription every week. But they just changed it, messed up the subscription. I lost all my saved info and book marks and then it kept closing out, and I can't open it anymore. Pile of garbage now. Got greedy

Used to work. For the last week or so I cant advance after being in the app for a few seconds. It seems like it locks up my Ipad. It slows to a crawl then to a stop. Can’ advance to the bottom of the chapter or to the next one. I also have it on an IPhone and it works better there but the progress I’ve made doesn’t accurately sync over.

Easy to find books of the Bible. I really like the features of this app. I enjoy being able to mark off the chapters or books that you have read. That makes it easy to check off books to read the whole Bible at your own pace and in the order that make sense to you.

Good but can be frustrating. I like the different translations and the ability to switch easily. The frustration comes when chapters don’t change. The number does, but not the content. ... The advertising; what can I say, I don’t like it especially when I have to search for where the “x” is. These are little things but they have at time frustrated and changing apps.

LOVE!!Because it works, for me🙏. I love this app because It challenges me to Read my daily devotional, the verse and the chapter. Some days I read more than one or 2 chapters. I know I would read it, but not at the same time, with the same dedication. It's easy to maneuver from one Book to another, chapters and verses, I use it as my only devotional.

Ad turn off. I really loved using the app until the ads were added. I was hoping this would be different with the new upgrade. However, this was not the case. I take my reading time seriously and I don't want this time interrupted by ads. In search of an ad free Bible app.

Very easy to keep up with the teaching.. I love how easy it is to go back and forth through the scriptures or versions while the pastor is preaching. I was actually at church not having my bible on my and downloaded it very quickly to be able to use. Now I use it all the time!

Ad. Please have the ads start muted instead with the sound turned on; other apps start that way. I know I can hit the speaker icon to turn it off; but I would rather hit the icon to turn it on. I do like the app but when trying to read when close to someone who is sleeping, it is annoying. Could there be a startup option to start with it off.

Annoying ads. I understand the need for advertising to support your business; however, it is extremely annoying when studying the Bible and cross referencing through a search engine to have to remove the ad from the field to get to the scripture. Many have abandoned your app. Could one pay to have ad free access?

Not happy. I’ve had this app on my phone for years and always enjoyed it. However in the last year or so they have started with pop up ads before you can get at the Bible. Today was especially annoying in church. I was trying to access my Bible an ad popped up and I couldn’t get out of it. So I have now remove the app from my home screen. Debating about whether or not to reinstall.

Love the Word, BUT..... maybe it is something I inadvertently did, but maybe not. This app has begun alerting me every morning at 10 that it is time for devotions. Very annoying, but the worst is I have no idea how to turn that notification off. My husband and I do our own Bible devotions, and earlier than 10 am. This alert is a pain. Otherwise the app is good & I like having the Word of God on my phone for quick references to Scripture and for impromptu Bible study.

Downgrade after Update. I use to LOVE this app, but since the last update, it was a nightmare, wouldn’t open for days upon days and when it finally did, all my personalizations were gone, had to start my “30 day challenge” from scratch, “Howard’s Thoughts” from scratch.. and forget about all the highlights and bookmarks I had saved, now I just don’t get it anymore, I can’t personalize “Todays Reading” .. everything I LOVED about this app is gone ☹️.. this blows

Great app. I like having the Bible with me on my iPhone wherever I go. Even better, I have multiple versions for cross reference (no pun intended) and they are linked among platforms so the notes or highlights that I make on my phone also show up on my iPad as well as across all versions. I recommend it.

Available anytime. During this year of not knowing what to expect next it is comforting to have Bible verses available on my phone that is with me at all times. I don’t have an excuse to not read the Bible especially in these turbulent and divisive times but to know that God is with us good times and bad.

Great resource #LOVE IT😍😍😍!!!. Just 1 Word is really helping me to have better understanding of the word which is helping my relationship with JESUS to develop and grow. The more I read and meditate on the word the more I understand it and this helps me grow, thrive and prosper on a day to day basis!! This app is truly a blessing to me and my life right now and I think GOD for whom or whoever created it . THANK YOU

Wonderful!. This app is part of my daily routine and I love it. I use the Today's Reading part of the app reading the verse and associated chapter. The only negative thing I can say is that it seems to repeat the chapters quite frequently but who can complain about reading the word too many times. Right?

Disappointed.. This is been my go to Bible app for several years. I paid to have multiple versions of the Bible available off-line. Now those are no longer available to me off-line, and every time I open a Bible to read, I get a pop-up ad. And if I go back and forth between a Bible and a study guide, every time I go back to the Bible I get another pop up ad, sometimes with loud music. This is a dealbreaker for me. I will know by longer be using this app. I am tremendously disappointed.

Bible app. I have had this app for about five years now and I really enjoy using it. The app is so user friendly and has everything I need beyond the scripture text. I can very easily highlight and bookmark text to make it stand out and easy to find when I need it. I love this app!

No Read Complete Option. The recent update to the One Bible app does not include an option to check completed chapters when books are read. Why was this option not included from previous version? Otherwise, it is a great app for Christian growth.

Great App But .... Love the APP and how easy it is to use. However, I highlight a lot and once you highlight something - if you want to clear the highlight, you can’t. Hope the APP developer can fix that. Also, highlights I’ve made in the past have all of a sudden shifted to different words on the same line. How that can be fixed too.

Ads. I have been supporting this app with a fee monthly and lately I started getting adds popping up. Why is that? I started with the free app and I really do like this app but I think I would prefer to find a bible app that I pay for one time like most apps on my phone with no disrupting ads. So I will be looking around.

Great app and easy to navigate. I have used this app for 3 years now. It is easy to use and keeping up with the scripture you am have already read. I reminder setting would be more effective and that would take it to the next level.

Ads are pretty intense. This is a great app cuz of the variety of versions to read from and more functions. It was ad free for a while then they introduced ads which is ok cuz they work hard and the app is free. But throwing an ad in the middle of reading seems inappropriate for a Bible app. I’m getting into a revolution of some sort I flip the page and out comes some random offer for jewelry. Any other moment would be ok. But at the flip of a page is kind of a turn off

Frustrated. I’ve been using this app for some time now and have been pleased with it until just recently. I’m used to ads popping up and I’ve been able to just x them and they go away. But recently sometimes I’ll get a screen wanting me to download the Grammarly app. When it comes up, I can’t x out of it and have to reboot my phone. This shouldn’t be happening.

Pretty good. I love having this Bible with me 24/7, and my pastor has kidded that I can find verses faster than anyone else! I do wish that like other apps, you guys would offer the option of a fee to prevent pop-up ads. This would especially be helpful during services. 😁But overall, it is handy & user -friendly!

Bugs. Since the last two updates, I continue to have trouble with this app. It used to be my favorite, but it has some issues. 1. I can no longer swipe to turn the page. If I do, the next chapter shows in the heading, but all the text is from the previous chapter. 2. Sometimes this happens even when I return to the top to click on the next chapter, instead of swiping. 3. At other times, when I click on a chapter, no text will appear, only the copyright information. I then have to close the app, make sure I close it completely, and reopen. 4. The copyright information at the bottom of each page is very distracting. You HAD such a wonderful product, but someone has really messed it up..... Thank you.....

Don’t update. Before I updated I paid to remove the ads, after the update I’m being asked again to pay to remove ads. Also I love seeing the progress I made throughout the year as this was the first time where I took reading the Bible daily seriously. Unfortunately with the update I lost all the progress I’ve made and all my highlights. This is so frustrating. Moral of the story don’t update until you are ready to restart your journey.

Love the app with exceptions.. Love the app in many ways. Has had periods of time where it would shut down. Meaning I would swipe to another page and it would close. Wouldn’t store data properly. Tried emailing customer support. Figured I was probably doing something wrong. I emailed a dozen times and never got a response. A lack of integrity with a company selling a Bible app doesn’t sit well.

To NIV developer. I used to love (5 stars) this app. The ease of sharing verses to my email was a breeze prior your latest update; however, now it fails to transfer what I’ve copied. Is it me or a glitch within the app? I agree with another review that it takes longer to load (and reload) now with ads you have to delete and if you’re a church goer and the Pastor is waiting for everyone to get to the chapter and verse, it’s annoying.

Rita in Alabama. I love that I can mark what I’ve read to keep up with my bible readings through it chronologically! I also like that I can copy and post on fb verses that speak to me in each days life. I can also highlight ones I want to find easily for later lookup! I thank the Lord for His living word!

Search function won’t work!. I super love this Bible app - easy navigation from one book to another, from one chapter to another, from one version to another! Very handy! However, why is it that I can’t get the search function to work??? I am so bummed! I’ve tried numerous times but to no avail.

Reliable companion. One Bible has made it easy for me to read the Bible on my bed, on my chair and even in my bathroom. I have my Bible with me everywhere I go. I know I can read it anytime I want. The only problem with One Bible, a minor one, it doesn’t let you highlight section of a verse without highlighting the r entire verse.

Went bad. This was a great app but now that they added ads every time the screen goes to sleep an ad pops up. If you’re taking notes when it when to sleep and didn’t save yet, you lose your notes. Very frustrating as I take sermon notes and have lost them many times since they started doing this despite trying to save more often

Mrs lane. I like the ability to do word search and scripture. I love the Word if God. I chose this Bible KJV. I do not like the Nook of Mormons poping up. I know the truth but some who do not like teens or grandchildren or those not born again will each for that and be in Error. I had recommend One bible to grandchildren but don’t want them in error. Please assure that the Book of Mormons dies not appear when opening my bible here.

Ads freeze this app. I used to really enjoy this app , but recently the “Grammerly” ad freezes and there is no way to cancel out of the app. So disappointed. Also, when using in church I have to remember to turn the sound down as some ads come on come on with disrupting music or audio.

Excellent Bible App. This App has helped me so much because I'm able to understand because the English used is very simple and clear. I can also increase the font for easy reading. I also like the highlighting part of it. I highly recommend this App for someone who needs to understand the Bible better

Me or app?. App looks good but I can not get it to work. I would pay for a bible. I would pay for no adds. I would pay for subscription if I could try it first. I was really excited to find red letter edition bible. But the app will not let me make notes or highlight. Is a subscription required to use these features? No where does the app say subscription required to try app. There is no tutorial. I won’t pay for any app that won’t let me trial first

Annoyed with the ads!. I paid for this app years ago. I do not understand why there are so many ads upon opening it. This is quite annoying during service because I can not get to my bible verses in time. In addition, the ads are sooo loud! How disrespectful. I never had this issue prior to this year and so really would appreciate that it gets fixed.

Missing/Incorrect words. I use the NASB and whatever update was done this past week had either incorrect words, or some just missing. I’ve deleted the app (or I’d give specific examples). I found it in Matthew and then also in 1 Samuel. The passage just read so strangely, so I compared to my hard copy. I know it wasn’t intentional, but that needs to be fixed! I liked the app until the update.

Liked it but problems. Have had this app for a few years and really enjoyed it. Especially the ability to mark what you have read. Helps when reading through the Bible in a year. But been having trouble with it not opening the past few months. Finally had to delete it and am going to try reloading it. Very frustrating

One Bible. I have used this app for many years with no problems or hiccups. But today I am not happy. Everything I have marked since the beginning of 2022 is gone - including my purchases. Clicking on ‘restore my purchases’ did not alleviate the problem. I am not happy with the update at this point. For the next update work on a ‘restore my marked passages’ and ‘restore my already “read the Bible in a year” marked scripture.’ Or better yet, do your updates on January 1 so nothing is lost!

Great navigation to find things. I have had this app for years, and now all of a sudden it isn’t working. I open it to read daily verse and read the book I’m studying and it says”sync in progress” and shuts down. I’ve tried deleting and Re-downloading and all that did was lose all my progress. It is easy to find the book and chapter I want, and it keeps track of what I’ve read, that was a big selling point for me. Very disappointed that it now isn’t working properly.

Very disappointed. I used to love this app to be able to bookmark where I am reading and highlight certain verses. Now all my past info is gone and the words are all messed up with extra letters added in-between words. And I agree with others that the adds are very annoying to have pop up with sound when you are trying to read your bible in quiet. I really hope this is fixed soon or I will be finding a new bible app.

Excellent App. I was born and raised in the church: I'm from an extremely religious family. Growing up we consumed the King James & New King James versions. As a child I often found difficulty understanding the verbiage, and so, I felt an extreme disconnect between what I was reading and what I actually consumed. Today, as an adult. I am returning to my spiritual roots and re-discovery my relationship with God: my father. Now that I'm older, I LOVE reading Dakes Annotated Reference Bible - very much the style of the NKJ version. However, my mother turned me on to this app and I'm in love. Won't change anything about it. It's excellent and event has an offline version for when you're on the go. GET IT!!!

It freezes. I had really enjoyed this app. Yet, since they added the Grammarly add to the commercials shown, it started freezing and won’t allow me to access my readings. I tried uninstalling it, knowing that I was going to lose all my notes, but was willing to do it because I really liked the app. It was to no avail. It worked once before the Grammarly add appeared again freezing everything. I wrote to them but haven’t heard back. It’s a pity, because it’s a really good app. I wish they would fix this bug.

Very disappointed in your mission. I bought the version of the Bible I wanted quite some time ago, and paid good money for it - one of the most expensive apps I ever bought. Now being forced to deal with an intrusive ad, which is very difficult to clear by the way, is cheap. Can you imagine having to watch an ad every time you opened a physical book? That would be ridiculous. Now I’m forced into this “upgrade” just for the benefit of a bunch of publications I do not want.

App crashes. This App will work fine for a few weeks then it won’t open. It’s the only app I have that does this. In the last 3 months this I have had to uninstall and reinstall it. Sad since I really like the Bible in a Year option and daily verses.

Issues. App. Is not stable, keeps going back to the top of the verse without touching the screen. Also no feature to keep my iPhone from going to sleep while using app. Update. Appears they have fixed the issue of going back to the top of the verse. Next needs to keep it from going to sleep. Hen it will be all good I think. Thanks

App update. I have had this app for several months and it was great to start out with a devotional or verse each morning. Then I started reading the Bible and it was great because once you completed a chapter, you could mark completed which was great because then you know where you left off at. After the update, I no longer see that option.

Very helpful. I’m disabled and books are difficult to use. I can go to any part of the Bible with ease. It has many different versions, daily reading plans and more. I told a friend about this app and she like it too. I would highly recommend this app for everyone who is looking for a great Bible app.
