Best ER app out there!. I use this app on every shift. Also great to read during downtime. I especially like how they frequently add more information. A must buy!

Great Content, Okay Interface. Even though this app is about the core content, UI is everything for mobile applications. Please incorporate the standard iOS gestures, such as swiping from the left side to the right to go "back" a page.

Great POC resource!. Absolutely worth the money! As a Family Med doc in clinic, this is my one-stop shop for the occasional ED-type patient that somehow schedules an acute appt with me instead of going to an ED. It allows me to perform quick interventions while coordinating transfer. I’ve used it three times in the past month alone as a super quick bedside reference for calculating BSA for a burn patient, splinting a metacarpal fracture, and remembering the rules for clearing a C-spine collar. The info is very well organized and is limited to the pearls that we need to remember quickly in that moment. Shout out to Bret P. for recommending it.

Useful/helpful and best app so far. I have a lot of medical apps an none of them get used often, except for my drug guide. But this is the first one as a nice, neat quick refresher that is easy to use. The Broselow's tape alone makes it worth it. But there are a lot of other treats here as well. From the HEMS world to the hospital everyone can use this app.

Great App, please keep adding to it with updates!. The knowledge of how to treat snake bites may not apply to very many people, however it’s important to know. Please consider adding CroFab (Crotalidae polyvalent immune fab) to the antidote section.

My go to app. This has it all!! So much better than scrolling through up todate trying to find what you need.

PALM ER. I have never written a review for an app before, but this app deserved the effort. This app is well worth the money. The information is pertinent, accessible, logically laid out, and easily interpreted. It has already helped me save at least one life in the ER since I recently purchased it. I highly recommend it!

Good info & layout...wish I didn't have to pay twice!. Concise information on a variety of conditions seen in the ED. As an ED pharmacist I especially love the Pedi tape as my double check during peds codes. My only complaint is with a recent switch from Samsung to iPhone, I had to re-purchase the app even though I had only purchased it on my Samsung Galaxy a few months earlier. Paying for it twice stinks but is something I'll still do because I like to show my ED RN the drug I've pulled up next to my phone with the drug/dose for the specific weight of the child we're working on. This app is a little easier to read/follow than the Broslow tape.

A must have app. As an emergency medicine physician, I can confidently say that palmEM is an invaluable resource. It has helped me in many situations.

Clinical use review. This app is a fantastic resource for the experienced clinician as well as the new learner. One of the more complete and focused educational resources available in EM.

Excellent content and great price. I'm a former ED nurse now back in the dept. as an NP, and I was looking for a quick reference for my iPhone. This has a wealth of information and it seemed to me better than some of the other apps that cost a lot more. I like how the topics are laid out by category, meds by category, procedure checklists, and a virtual peds Braslow-type tape. It also has a separate heading for all the various "rules" (Ottowa, etc.). Good images as well. I already had 5MCC but in my opinion, that info is not as well-suited to working in the ED. Palm EM fills that need for me and is a great addition to my handheld reference material toolbox.

Latest update asking to subscribe even when previously owned. Downloaded (from my past purchases) after long to use it again. To my surprise, it asked for subscription at every stage after asking me to sign up first. Even if I try to restore purchases, it is still shows the same thing over and over again. This needs to be fixed. Update: Sent them an email and they fixed access. Updating review to 4 stars. Still keeping one star as this migration should have been automatic and there might still be affected users.

The Swiss Army Knife of Emergency Medicine. Well-written, easy to find information, nicely researched. Very useful fundamental information. Great for residency and medical school rotations. Inexpensive.

Only rental license available. I downloaded this app years ago for free. Now that I have an account it refuses to verify previous ownership. Instead, it wants a subscription. I have zero subscriptions with IOS because I don’t have money to throw away. This app is now worthless.

Great app. I’m seriously impressed with this app. It’s depth of info and ease of use make it perfect for the ED. I find myself using it all the time on shift.

Migration Failure. I’ve had the same problem with access others noted since the new subscription model rolled out. Contacted support who says their system shows I have full access but I still do not. Hoped this update would fix the problem but it did not. Too bad because this was a great app. EDIT: Problem resolved with current update. Rating revised to 5 stars.

Well worth the money. Do not need to pay for the PedEM with this app since it is included. Wish I knew that prior to purchasing both. It is a wealth of information on all things medical. Great app and well worth the money.

PlamEM. When trying to open content, it request subscription. It was mentioned that this App is free!!!. I subscribed to this App before many years, when it was working very well with iOS 9 till now, in my old iPhone. But in iOS 16 and New iPhone it request to subscribe to make open in my new iPhone with iOS 16.5. I wish that you reactivate my subscription to be able to open contents. Best regards.

Incredibly Versatile. I use this app daily. As a resident, it is a handy quick reference for treatment algorithms ranging from CAP abx coverage to the Pedi tape that has all your weight-based drugs. Best app in its category and allows you to quickly access the information needed. Well worth the purchase.

Detailed though complex*. It's useful but for me it is confusing. It seems more like a general overview rather than going in depth for each subject. There are categories, subcategories and details. For example: ABC's: Adult Quick Med List: Lidocane: mg/kg IV. Maybe it's because I'm not a doctor or nurse but I don't know what all the 'details' such as the Pulseless/Stable/May repeat VT/VF and such means. Seems like it would be a good resource for those in the medical field, however.

A must have. AWESOME!!! This app is well organized with a great user interface. As a med student, this is a great reference to review before presenting a patient

Not useful. I’m an EM doc, and after after having this app on my iPhone for a few years, have never once found what I’m looking for within the app. Unfortunately, I always end up finding my answers from other resources.

Useful on service. I am a second year resident and have found this to be very useful. Good algorithms, drug dosages, etc

Best EM app out there!. I have owned quite a few medical/EM apps a this is by far the best quick reference out there. Extremely comprehensive, easy to navigate and nice on the eyes.

Unfortunately useless. As a provider I cannot seem to get a single useful thing from this app. I was recommended this app from a podcast. I hate giving negative feedback but just a heads up for others out there. I’m disappointed I spent $20 on it. I wouldn’t recommend it even if it were free.

Best app ever!!!!!!. This the ultimate app for any new to EM physician or a seasoned provider looking for something that distills down some of the new decision rules coming from the currently literature. A must have app!!!!!!!!

Crashing since latest iOS update. I love this app, have had it for a long time, but now it won't load at all since the most recent iOS update.

Good overview. Great outline format for the most important topics. Awesome features like Broselow tape, note taking (that is searchable in the app).

Great, but getting out dated. I love this app. But, I cannot rely on the current edition due to out of date ACLS and PALS protocols, among other things. 5 stars in the past. 3 stars now. Please update this edition.

Excellent reference!. As an EM resident this app is one of the best I have come across. The information is pertinent, high yield, and easily accessible. No multiple clicks or complicated sub menus to navigate to information that is often needed to be found quickly. I look forward to the database of info expanding. Not that useful. Succinct is the key word in product description. Some entries are simply lists of Diff Dx or very basic info. The ACLS algorithms are so stripped down they are hardly recognizable. Some common emergencies aren't even listed.

FIXED: Update without warning… lost notes.. I cannot find the note section which the previous version had and it seems I have lost around 4 years of notes. No response from the contact provided for help/questions. Update 1/2023 They have reached out multiple times over email with helpful solutions and reasonings why this happened. They explained their previous inability to inform/update users regarding the planned update as well as the reasonings for the update and the reason for having to (currently, they may be back!) remove notes.

Best iPhone App. A must have for every EM resident/attending. It's quick and straight to the point.
