Great App!. I love this App! Read midi files like karaoke files! And slow the tempo! Perfect! In combination with AnvilMusicStudio on PC to add lyrics to midi files and upload them to Dropbox this app will download from Dropbox and Bam portable karaoke player with tempo functions and midi controls. The only bad thing about this app is the price! 16 is too much for this app I will wait for a sale or till Christmas which ever comes first. I would say 5 is worth it for an iPhone app. The only time I consider more is for something like music studio which would have tons more functionality except no lyrics yet, but you can do that on PC so, that's how I see it.

Easiest to dnload & manipulate midi tracks. Bern using this app for over 5 years now. Produced excellent tracks on this app. Still going strong ! Most friendly and versatile midi app for my iPad and iPhone. I appreciate the trial version before I bought it! (Apps should all be trial versions before purchase!). Developer did good! I downloaded all my midi files from windows pc too. Also, app can now transport my creations to other midi apps and emails for others to enjoy.

The most consistent midi player. From Compaq portable Ipaq to the windows desktop, to the IPad. Sweetmidi just simply works. It’s timeless. Great job by Roni. Just as great as OSX version!. Perfect tool for practice or even "live" backup. Allows real-time modification p of MIDI performance parameters - useful for increasing BPM to improve playing skills. Works pretty much the way you would like it to work. One question, one request: how do we purchase pro version? And, can we get Line 6 MIDI Mobilzer support?

Need help. I love this app on my iPad but I can’t figure out how to upgrade to the paid version on my iPhone. Can anyone help me?

Works great!. Works great for my live show! Does what I want, which is to play my own files as backing for my live performance. Files are easily imported, Dropbox integration is great, playlists easily created and sorted/edited, app works in background behind my other apps, remote control of transport and other features is easily setup and customizable with my own commands and MIDI controllers, developer answers questions and feature requests promptly, I could go on and on. This is the best most truly useable MIDI player app I have found. Worth the price and I would buy again, recommend to anyone needing a player for professional purposes

Plays Midi Files well! Woo Hoo!. I hunted high & low on the app store for a simple app that can play midi files & allow me to change the voices for each track and adjust volume for each. After trying 4 of them (including Garage Band), I found Sweet Midi. This is the ONLY app that reliably opens standard midi files and plays them back...and let's you adjust the volume of each track & assign new voices easily. If you need to do this, search no more. Pretty Good but.... Love it for playback and editing, but the instruments just barely sounds better than the Windows and Quick Play sound font.

Doesn’t work on iPhone. A friend told me about the app so I downloaded it to my phone and tried repeatedly to upgrade to the pay version so I could play my entire midi files but could not find a way to get it done. I finally tried it on my iPad and found out the problem was that the settings button does not display on my phone. I paid for the full version and downloaded all my files. I went back to my phone hoping everything would be there because my iPad and phone are on the same account. But nothing was there and my phone still had the free version. I opened and closed the app and even redownloaded it so it would reset and transferred all my files but had to do them manually. I finally got a link to upgrade to the paid version but was expected to pay a second time so I declined.

Excellent solid performer. First - this has never crashed on my iphone 5. Its solid. I have the full version. Excellent layout and accessibility of controls and file selection and offers just enough customization in the settings screen. Would be great to have an added delay effect per track - but existing chorus and reverb are nice enough. Also would love to be able to transpose per track instead of globally. Other than that - great solid performer and does what it is advertised to do.

Question. How do I play midis with sf2 files? Edit: I can’t find settings :(

Dave K. I first put this on my iPhone and couldn’t figure out how to purchase the full version to play MIDI all the way. I got on my iPad and found there are 2 more buttons at the bottom - help and set. In set I could make the purchase, but it didn’t upgrade on my iPhone. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing it still doesn’t play the last 1/4 of the song. I was just informed that on the iPhone you have to rotate your phone 90 degree to get the extra buttons. I updated my review to 5 stars

It cannot be restored.. I was very satisfied with this app until I uninstalled it by accident. I reinstalled and it was not possible to restore the app after many tries. I purchased it a few years ago. But the problem was I purchased it using a different Apple ID. I've tried another apps. This is the best.

Amazing App. I do have to say that with my large collection of MIDI files, it can handle them very well! I have over 250 files and several playlists. The mixer is great for just either messing around with, or changing the instruments to make your own masterpiece. Lyrics really only work if they're embedded, which most of mine aren't but that's ok. The chord display is accurate, and useful for playing alongside. I also love that custom .dls and .sf2 soundfonts can be imported using "open in…". It's also nice that every screen layout can be scaled and colored to suit your screen. The default soundfont is ok, personally I prefer to use my own. The synth will drop some notes here and there, but really only when the song is hardcore, or it's in the background and I'm doing something else. Comparing other MIDI players to this, this is the best.

Great midi app. This is a great little app for down loading midi files from my ipad and being able to do a quick edit including key change tempo, track mixing track muting and voice change with pretty dam good results . Being a solo musician this app had great valve to me for increasing my backing track capabilities . After I'm happy with my final mix down I record them in real time to my wave recorder and then take then into my computer and store them in iTunes where I can then load into another great app called on song. Want to thank the sweet midi team for this app. For the price I strongly recommend it..

Same problem!. I didn’t know that it would not play the entire ONE FILE that I require for a project. Therefore, I tried to see how much the app would cost and there’s no way of seeing and I have an iPhone 8+! PLEASE HELP. Or I could just find a different app...farewell, UN-sweet midi...

I love this app!. This app is the best! I can listen to all my midis, change keys, change instruments, change tempo, and sing along withe the embedded words! That's not all! I can change lyric size, background colors, drive my piano keyboard, and or hook right into a sounds system. That means that I can sing and let others sing along no matter where we are. I.e. Long bus trips! The only thing is missing is a loop marker, so we can sing the chorus over and over, if we want to. My iSing worship app has a loop feature, and I really miss this feature in Sweet Midi; since I have way more midis that purchased songs for iSing.

Family sharing?. When my husband bought this, it said it supported family sharing. I am not able to get the full version on my iPad - but as a test, my son was able to get it in his iPhone. What do I need to do?

This app is good but.... This app is good but you should add the option to choose what audio file type you want to export a midi in. Edit 12/20: Yes mp3 export would be great. Can you explain to me why the mp3 file format is dead?

Nice .mid file player. I was looking for something simple to play .mid files on my iPhone and this one works great. Went to purchase the full version, and like other comments, couldn’t find a link or button. Upon further investigation, I found you just need to turn the phone sideways and the screen widens to expose a help button and settings button. Problem solved.

So good but. Soundfonts sound terrible and I’m trying to remaster a games sound track and I have the sound font but it sounds way off on some songs

IOS 14.2 Bluetooth Problems. App used to work great, but the IOS 14.2 update has problems with Bluetooth MIDI. It will crash both the app and device. Hoping for an update to fix this soon.

Excellent!. This product is perfect for what it's asked to do. It has just the right features for the pro player who uses MIDI files for backing tracks (me). Tech support is very good and the creators seem to be coming up with helpful updates pretty often. The player is rock solid stable and easy to use. Great value for a modest price!

Simple, the best for live back tracks. I have used this app on my Ipad for several years. I have my own sound bank. Lyrics can be displayed when starting a midi file as default. I have a start stop pedal connected and all works like a charm. Highly recommended for back tracks in live performance.

Restoring purchases problem resolved!. Absolutely a wonderful app, with continued support for so many years! Thank you to the developer, keep up the good work! So to everyone with the complaint that their phone isn’t restoring the purchase because they can’t find the settings button, I had the same problem. Here’s the solution, just flip your phone to landscape mode and two more buttons appear, “help” and “settings”. In the settings there is a a lot more functions that can be tweaked, one of them is restoring your purchase.

Just what I needed!. Hooray! I am a singer who just needed a quick way to transpose midi files to my own range, for rehearsal purposes. This is easy and perfect! I’d be happy to buy you a coffee.

Great player. No problems playback on my midi keyboard. Have an outdated alesis QSR sound module, had to add an open measure at the start. Otherwise, incorrect instrumentation. Used the irig midi connector but the connection to ipad does not seat properly causing the midi files to freeze. This is not the fault of the app. Found hub extension, camera interface with USB UNO works better. More secure fit. Keep up the good work and found this to be the best midi player so far.

Only a demo of the pro version. Looks like a very good app if you're interested in the pro version, which can edit MIDI files and sequence lyrics. However, if you're looking for a simple free MIDI player this isn't it because it only plays 3/4 of the song. Also, you get periodic reminders to upgrade to the pro version which can be difficult to dismiss (once I had to get out of the app and close it from the multitasking bar).

Sweet midi. This program will not work with installed standard synth modules like Korg iM1 and Korg Module LE. Seems to be not compatible with Core MIDI in iOS 12.

Perfect app!!. I finally found a seamless, easy-to-use app to get midi files off my PC onto an iPad and then play them via digital midi output from the iPad (using the camera connection kit and a usb cable) to my Casio WK-7500 workstation. Interface is excellent, and you can do playlists, not just individual files like all the other cheap apps out there. This is the best thing out there and worth the price. I paid less for other apps but they are junk. This is the real deal.

A mistake to buy this app.. I have a lot of problems synchronizing with internal sound module , all the instruments sound like piano, I do not recommend, this app, I’ve been working with midi files for many years but this is terrible,

Best iPad app on the apps market. Okay folks... been using this app for months. I finally discarded the ole' Anvil DOS midi software after realizing this app is impressively simple yet amazingly competent to do all my background sounds. The built-in synth handles fresh modern sounds and delivers them in realtime events. The only addition needed to this app is the sequencer that i hope the developers present with the same ease of use as this app. Great Job! This is a professionally styled app too!

Ive waited so long. Ive literally waited decades for this software. It allows me to scale the tempo without removing the natural human nuance of my midi files. And the velocity scaling saves the ears from over zealous keyboard velocity curves. This app is a game changer. Just like the amazing slow downer was so long ago. Thanks

Good app for musicians. Not bad, the only app i could find which i can use for playing my piano with a midi orchestra (where the piano part is muted). Great for slowing down the orchestra for the difficult parts when practicing. It would be great if the midi synth sounds would be more authentic. The orchestra sounds artificial. Sad that it only plays 3/4 of the piece and $15 isn't really cheap for an app.

Review. I have been using this App with my arranger keyboards and sound modules and it has performed very well. I use it with I-Rig with no problems. I highly recommend this App to anybody who uses midi files. I would like to be able to delete all files with a bulk delete.

Just as good as the Windows version.. I've used this app since before it was an app on Windows XP. This is just as good, and better since it's mobile. What I like: - Play any song at any speed based on bps or percentage. VERY wide range of speed. This is good for picking out individual notes very slowly to learn on piano. - Mixer. You can turn on or off any combination of instruments and/or reassign each instrument to whatever instrument you like. Turning on only one instrument at a time with slow speed allows for learning songs as well. - You can make playlist, change font size/type, change color scheme, change playback settings to almost anything imaginable, metronome, change output to midi or synth wave, keep it playing in background despite other apps/music if so desired, midi input options which I don't understand, option to save edited midi files, lyrics text, download midis straight from the web to this program, transpose the pitch of the midi file. Powerful stuff. Now I'm just trying to convince Roni to add a virtual piano that will light up the keys corresponding to the notes that are being played. This would mean the world to me. Until then, still an invaluable program, even if for just archiving midi files for listening enjoyment.

Get this app. I've been using the computer software version if Sweet Midi Player for mac for years, so I was really happy to see a mobile app version available at last. The app contains most of the functionality of the original: volume control of individual channels, solo & mute buttons, tempo control by bpm or %+/-. Too bad there's no looping function by measure number and no measure number indicator. Overall excellent. Unfortunately, when I transfer files into the app from iTunes the file loses its name, i.e. every file gets named "No sequence name". It makes it difficult to find the specific track since everything has the same name. This app is great for choral singers. I hope they work out the track name bug.

Love the software but need it to work on my new iPad. To developer: You can easily use this software with a MIDI Bluetooth device. I use PianoDisc. I have recently purchased a new iPad that is being used explicitly with the PianoDisc system and a Yamaha MIDI piano. I am having trouble transferring the software purchase from my old iPad to my new one. My initial try was to use family sharing to restore my purchase. I cannot get this to work. Please indicate how I can transfer the software purchase of pro over to my new iPad. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Rock solid piece of software. If you are looking for a midi file player with a ton of features, look no further. Sweet midi player does it all. Midi file player, mixer, displays lyrics, setlist management, tempo and transposition, external midi support, custom sound font support, configurability, file management, 3rd part support for dropbox, blue board foot controller support… and the list goes on. Developer is quick to respond to emails. Continued support and development. As a musician using midi tracks for 25+ years, it gets the job done, reliably and efficiently. No superfluous features. Well thought out, and designed with the performing musician in mind. This is professional grade software. I highly recommend this App!

User. In the last three years I have tried many apps for sequencing and paid some dollars for them and most wore useless. When I found this one I was impressed clean display and does all I need it to do. What I am most impressed it is very easy to use. The sounds that comes out from the iPad are thin so I prefer use my sound modules like Roland xv5050.

Good enough. I love the whole idea of it! Love the fact that you can change the tempo, tones..etc. what I really wish they'd update is the length of the song. I'm not much of a sheet music geek so I download midi files of sheet music to learn from. If only it played the last quarter!! Other than that, it's good enough.

If only it would save settings. I love the features on this app, but I don’t love the default instrument settings. When I change them to a different instrument, as soon as I switch to a different song it returns the instrument settings back to the default! Also I cannot find the app in my list of apps in the iPhone Settings. Is this a bug?

Value for money. I bought this app to play midi files on my iPad with lyrics being displayed for live gigs. Works like a dream. Terrific support from the developer as well.

Bad patch. Will only play 75% of the song unless you pay the $15 for full version.

About the best Midi Sequencer app going. If you are after a MIDI app that plays, stores and even allwos Playlists for live gigs, this is the one, and bit of the costly side, but worth double the price!! When you need a great live tool for simply playing your backing tracks this is the app to get. Can use coreMidi, Network midi, and works really well with MidiBridge. Highly recommended....Developer support is excellent! Well deserved 5 star rating.

Great for auditioning. A perfect app to try out midi files... I search using Safari and "Open In" Sweet Midi... So quick and easy to solo/mute tracks and see if its the right thing to download to your normal Midi sequencer/editor. I think the price for the full version is a bit out of touch tho... A bit like the author's other great app (SlowDowner) it's 3 times more than I would pay.

Great app and it keeps getting better. I’ve been using this app to play along with lyrics and chord prompts and it’s just brilliant. I have noticed now you can also use this app as a sound module for playing the midi instruments with a midi keyboard making this a really flexible. Using your own sound fonts is also a breeze.

Very, very simple MIDI player. This is about as basic as you can get with MIDI. There's no note editing, although if you're really desperate, you can fiddle with some control messages. File handling is so rudimentary, you don't actually need the keyboard - for anything. File import and export is done via iTunes only. It even has that wonderful tacky synthesised MIDI sound! Great if you want to stuff around with MIDI and you don't know what MIDI is for, and extremely simple to use. But don't even THINK about using it for anything serious.

Great app- but…. This is a fantastic midi player, truly easy to use and really very simply and technically correct in its design and operation; So for the uninitiated midi enthusiast though do the research on how it works cause the support I have sought and experienced is variable, abrupt and sometimes slow. Well worth it- even so.

Great facility and great interface. Works a treat, and has been rock solid. The settings page shows how thoroughly developed it is. That's probably the reason it appears so often in searches for "midi player". I'd just recently purchased Roland's sound canvas app but sweet midi has better Dropbox integration and easily configures to use sound canvas for sounds or an external midi/Bluetooth source. The free version seems to have every feature enabled but will cut songs short until you purchase the full thing so you can try it all out before buying. It's more expensive than the other 'midi players' but really delivers. I'm going to use it at the keyboard for backing ...

Awesome app for live gigging!. I have used this app for a couple of years and love it! I do live gigs and use professional midi files created by reputable midi sites like songservice.com / midi-hits / song galaxy etc… .and I play guitar and sing. Professional well written quality midi files is a must here! ( don’t use that free garbage midi files you can download for free all over the internet!), I use Roland sound canvas in coremidi mode and the sounds of real instruments is incredible, it really feels like a live band is backing me up! I can see the lyrics and chords as I perform my sets! My only issue is it would be nice if the developer would add a couple of features like being able to move the position of the chords to the top of the screen instead of always being at the bottom of the screen and it would be nice to see the key of the song when we transpose the key instead of just numbers like 0 or -1, -2 or +1, +2 etc…. Seeing the key when transposing would be really nice! Thank you Roni music awesome app!!!!

Great app if you want to pay $14.99. Don't pay attention to the word "free" - it should be called "trial". The free version is not really usable as it constantly puts a message on your screen saying you should upgrade and then that freezes the app so you can't access any controls. Looks like it could be a good app for someone who is serious about working with midi files but it's not good if you just need to listen to the occasional midi off the Internet.

Truncated the song. For some reason it seems to truncate full midi song to two minutes only, therefore it is not raelly usable to me, otherwise it could be good player.

Teaser app. App doesn't play the last quarter of midi file, then prompts you to upgrade for a fee.

Sweet Midi Player perfect for one of my setups. Sweet Midi Player has turned out to be perfect solution for one of my MIDI setups from streaming midi files via Bluetooth to my Disklavier piano. Grateful to have this app. I’ve been using other products from Roni Music for a long time and this was a great addition that met / exceeded my expectations.

Poor introduction. The free app should be headed trial only. The full app is not listed on iTunes and not available from the free trial. It might be a good app but I could not find out. Roni's other app (Amazing Slow Downer) is great. Please, fix this!

A powerhouse under its modest looking hood. The developer really knows his SMFs unlike so many designing music apps today. Many apps choke on opening an SMF O but Sweet Midi just offers to convert an O to a 1 — problem solved !!! An essential app......

Very useful. Would love to see playback loop function added, for practice purposes. Perhaps the ability to create segment loops from a midi file.

Sweet Midi?. I find it very annoying that the "free" apps don't tell you the restrictions before you load them. This player appears to work pretty well and supports Dropbox but only plays 3/4 of the file in the free version. $14.99 seems to be a lot for what it does, so I won't be giving it space on my iPad. Too bad as it looks pretty good.

Deceitful "free" app. Agree with the other reviews. Doesn't tell you right away that it only plays 3/4 of the file on the free version. Paid version costs $15. Uninstalled right away

This is forced selling. I HATE being forced to buy something. For what it does, forcing us to pay 15$ is something that makes me pass. Good luck !

Constant Pop-Ups. The free version only plays 3/4 of the music. There are constant pop-ups to tell me this and also a constant second pop-up to suggest that I upgrade to the full version for $16.99. After an hour of this, I’ve deleted it off my device. What a way to annoy potential customers...

Truly amazing functionality on an iPad!. I pastor a mission work and we do not yet have an accomplished church musician for services. After years of desperate work-a rounds and cumbersome solutions which were not easy, I decided to "pay the big bucks" on this upgraded app just in case it would offer something better! Wow! Do I ever wish that I had known about this before paying out for an expensive electric piano that could play midi files! Now each person who leads music can customize the midi file with key changes, tempo, a whole assortment of instruments, and customized effects and output levels for each track! I am VERY thankful for this app, and our music service is much better for it during these interim years!

Family sharing ne fonctionne pas. Acheté l'appli sur mon iphone et tout est ok. Par contre sur le iPad de ma blonde certaines fonctions sont non-fonctionnelles. Sûrement un bug dans le partage familiale. Vraiment déçu. Encore un 20$ dans la poubelle.

Still can't gig with app. This app seems to work but I don't like the soundfont used. But that is not the fault of the app developer. My midifiles sound very musical through a Roland Sound Canvas, or even other virtual sounds such as with Windows or Mac OS. but with these sound fonts, they sound cheesy. The drums do not recognise program changes for brushes. Also, the drums have not assigned samples to some notes I use for my click. Unfortunately, I cannot gig with this app.

Nice midi player. This app was a beautiful free player of midi files before version 1.2.0 crippled playback to 3/4 of the length of each file. I wish I'd backed up before updating. I guess I'll pay to upgrade. The future of music is here, and it is midi!

Finally!. At last, the exact app I was looking for. Supports my UR44 audio and midi interface, does exactly what I need it to do--set lists, mixer, patch changes, perfect!

Great app but.... You should be able to put custom sound pack files with the .sf2 extension.

Just ok. It's fun to choosenwhich trackmyou want to play or mute, but pay information windows are very frustrating.

Performs as Advertised. Free version cuts off the end of midi files and the built in midi samples are not that great but... After purchasing the app and importing Quicktime instruments .dls file from my Mac and I am happy with this app. No brainer to use and does exactly what it says it will. I run it out to my Bose L1 and it sounds awesome.

Only plays 3/4 of the track!!!!. WHY would I only need to hear the first 3/4 of a track?! I need to hear midi files to PRACTICE and do score study... the fact that all my pieces were truncated unless I paid $13 to upgrade is SHAMELESS!!!!!! SCREW YOU, devs.

rip off. Nothing in the description of this app tells you that it costs $$$ to be usable. I don't mind "lite" apps that are honest about it, but apps that list as "free" and don't tell you they are crippled are outrageous.

Works but.... App constantly pops up a box to upgrade to the pro version with no cancel button. Seems kind of sleazy.

AMichels24. Outrageous. "In app purchases available" what they mean is you can play snippets of an Midi file, but if you want to play the whole thing, better pony up $15. This is a simple request - create an app that simply plays midi files on the iPhone. Something Apple should do already, but somehow can't swing that or any other band aid app that doesn't cost you an outrageous amount. Despicable marketing.

Total garbage. It's free! But don't waste your time. This program is total crap. Move on, find one that works.

I could see this app as useful .... If getting any actual use from it wasn't prohibitively expensive ... anything potentially good about the program's features is overshadowed by a price tag constantly being waved in your face. That being said, it will play back a midi sequence. Most of it.

Not free. Found that "free version does not play the last quarter of a file." and very tinny piano sound. keep looking.

Awesome App!!. Just what I was looking for and more. Going to be using this for drum practice to play some MIDI files converted from tabs with Tabtrax.

I love this ap!. I use my iPad as a mini rhythm section for my gigs on acoustic piano. I love this ap because it allows you to use the gm dls files from your Windows or Mac systems. Because of it's ease of use and compatibility with my thousands of midi files, I use this more than the OTHER midi player app. Thank you! keep improving.

Misleading!. Deceptive! Don't get this app as it will not play your whole file. Rather you get toward the end and up flashes a message that you have to buy the full version!

Just as great as OSX version!. Perfect tool for practice or even "live" backup. Allows real-time modification p of MIDI performance parameters - useful for increasing BPM to improve playing skills. Works pretty much the way you would like it to work. One question, one request: how do we purchase pro version? And, can we get Line 6 MIDI Mobilzer support?

I can't even play the whole file.. If you can't play the entirety of a file in the free version, and have to pay for that, then people of this company, your app is beyond useless unless jailbroken.

Powerful app. Awesome just found what was looking since iPhones came out that can't play midi files. Thanx to developers. Very powerful app. Has all we need to learn a new midi song. Can mute or solo any instrument and much more....... Live it. :)

Not working. Where is the paid version? It hangs in a loop where it tells you you need the paid version, but there is no way to get out!

I don't want to pay. Core Midi support would be cool for sending midi out to a real 8bit sound module etc.

Limited. Seems to work well enough but not really useable because it plays only the first 3/4 of a tune. To hear the full tune you have to pay $15 for the paid version. This is not a "lite" version of the full version but rather just a demo.

Awesome. Exactly what I was looking for for practice. Would like the "Pro" version with a "Save As" feature so I don't "mess up" the original as I play with changes. Excellent App !!

This is amazing. But every time you change midi files it asks you to upgrade. 🎧🎶 Might upgrade if it had a midi creator and showed the piano keys.

Not good.. Shoddy design, and tries to trick you into spending $15 every time you tap anywhere. $15 would be overpriced even if it was a good app, which it isn't. Deleted. Do not recommend.

Great player!. Folks with neg. reviews don't understand it's use. This is for live playback/performance. I don't have to drag around sound modules Because I use the dls files for that. This app is great for solo,duo's playing Live events. I downloaded dls sounds and It's great! Dare I say,if you ***break it, You can add lyrics with a karaoke writer And display lyrics. That's what I do. Changed the way I work and now I can change mix,tempo and key On the fly! Yes it's a demo version but, worth the upgrade!

Seems capable, sounds good, but really pricey. I have used their ASD software and they do it well, as with this midi app, but not so well that it justifies a premium price. I could do without the bells and whistles, for now, at a reasonable price, but $15 doesn't work. Looking for something else.

Demo only. This "free"app is really only a demo...you cannot even play a whole midi unless you buy their $15 app...why bother to call it free...

Works 4 my needs. I just want 2 download midi files, play them 2 c if it's a good file, & bring them 2 my computer when I connect 2 iTunes. This does that. I'm good.

Cuts of last quarter of song. Unless you pay 15 dollars. Seems a bit pricy to me.

BAD update. I downloaded this a while ago when it was a 'really free' app and liked it although its features are still limited. After the recent update, ALL song plays are cut off 1/4 at the end unless you purchase the $15 version. I should not have updated it. it is no good. Deleted.

Great Product. I tried a couple midi player apps and found this to be the most robust, reliable and bug free. I am using to control a yamaha disklavier piano and it works flawlessly. For $15 does same as $1600 yamaha control unit. Wish list would include sheet music conversion.

Misleading. Sorry folks. You call this a free player and yet play only 75% of the song. This is misleading and a waste of my time.

Very promising. Needs to allow "open in" from other programs to be useful. Would be interested in see what a "pro" version may offer in the future. Keep up the good work!

Super!. At last the first free midi player! And really first rate also! Many thanks to the programmers. Has editing capabilities and above all plays midis from safari with the "open in" function. Until now I didn't find any critical limitations in the free version... Very impressed!

Greatest MIDI player ever but.... After I installed about 8 SF2 (Soundfont) files, the app got really buggy to the point where I can't even start it up anymore. Please fix this

no "Open In...". I download some midi files using the iPad, but can transfer them to this app only through iTunes? iOS 5 is all about NOT needing a computer anymore... anyway "Open In..." should be a basic function, easy to change still, please update!

Audiobus Support. Please include AUDIOBUS support on your next update..This will enable us to record our song with other apps while singing..

Not Free or not any good. When it played my first file it trailed off and said, "the free version will not play the last quarter of a file." They don't say that in the Description.

Exactly what I needed. Plays midi files perfectly. No unwanted features or clutter. It just works.
