Great Magazine.. One of the best computer mags out there. Great thing is that they kept the digitL version just like the printed version. Month after month they have the best articles and how-to's. Worth every cent. Finally they also embed the links in the adverts. Makes for easy research when you are interested in something.

MaximumPC. Had this subscription for years, now being charged for new issues even though I have a subscription, happened twice. Just canceled subscription. Sad way to go out

Maximum Rip-off!. I have been an avid reader since the old days when this was called 'boot' magazine so I was more than happy to subscribe. But while I've had my print December for over a month and January is heading to newsstands now they are only offering the November issue on the iPad. It seems that they plan on publishing a month or more behind the current issue here, which is after they post the same content online for free. BOO!!!! So i pretty much have two subscriptions, one via mail and one for my iPad and yet the iPad subscription is pretty much useless. I really expected better from MaxPC.

Best PC Magazine!. I love having this magazine in digital form so that I can read on the go! There’s nothing like the physical copy, but having this option rocks!

Awful, wait until they've fixed it. I love Maximum PC so I was very excited to see this. However, as others have said, the issue is way behind the print version (the current version here is now freely available on their website, so it's a total waste.) To add insult to injury I'm now being charged for my "subscription" to nothing; the only thing it's currently good for is taking my money. I almost never write reviews, but it's just so bad that I felt I needed to; people should have ample warning.

Does its job!. People complaining about not receiving their magazine after subscribing aren't going through the troubleshoots that this app provides... All I had to do was shut the app down manually and viola! My magazine was ready for download. Don't listen to the bad reviews entirely.

Awesomeness. What more do you need, Digital copies of this magazine on your iPad is best thing you could have, no decaying mags lying around with bend pages and no more where is my magazine. whether your a noob in the technology scene or a guru, Maximum pc is the way to go, for the best reviews on today's top hardware and software.

Cannot Download Magazines. I paid for digital downloads, but I have no clue how to download them. I followed the instructions in the help section to no avail. :-(

No tab-out save state or app options. Being as this app is Maximum PC, I expected a top-notch app right from the start with standard reading features. This is unfortunately not the case. The app does save your current page when you tab out, however when you tab back in the app automatically returns you to the Store page and you must reopen the issue you were previously reading. To top it off, there are no options to turn this off or do anything reader-related. If these issues were fixed it would be a 5-star app, but as it is this is an annoying oversight, especially for a paying subscriber.

Was a one, now a four. Emailed tech support and got the following response. It worked! I now have access to all of the mags. Of course we shouldn't have to jump through these hoops to get this to work. Hope this helps anyone who is having issues; "If this still does not enable you to download the latest issue without purchasing, please get back to me and I will investigate further. The purpose of these instructions is to completely remove and reinstall the app from your device in case there is a software corruption issue, and to kill all other multitasking apps that may be having a conflict. In addition, only download magazine issues while connected to a WiFi internet connection, and do not swap to another app during the download process. 1. Kill the app (double tap the Home button on your device, tap and hold on the app until it begins to shake, then tap it again). 2. Uninstall the app completely from your device. 3. Power off your device by holding down the power button (a hard reset - wait for 'slide to power off message' and power off). Then turn it back on. (before proceeding, make sure the same iTunes account details are applied to the device, used to purchase the original subscription/issue) 4. Re-install it from Newsstand and launch the app. 5. To re-download the issues already purchased; within the magazine app click on the 'help' section and select 'restore purchases'. Kind regards, App support Future Publishing"

Just amazing. If your a geek this is for you. If you want to be a geek this is for you. There are a lot of great reads in this magazine. I get a copy each month for the last 5 years, I love reading each copy!

Unlikely to continue subscribing. Here's the problem. I think magazine companies need to have a way to irritate you or they fear the world will end. Since they can't have subscription cards fall all over the place when you open a digital mag, they've instead decided to have tons of stand alone issues in the download section (VERY annoying for subscribers to have to wade thru), and tons of annoying notifications. Just notify me when a new mag is out. Cut the crap or become even more obsolete than you already are.

Great magazine now on iPad. After subscribing for many years for a hard copy of MaximumPC, I was faced with a dilemma: How do I get my favorite magazine abroad? Have them ship the copies to my new location and pay an "arm and a leg"? The digital subscription on ipad is an answer! Now I love it even more!

Horrible. Won’t renew. Digital access and login is horrible.

Amazing. This publication is great. The app works just fine. The negative reviews on here are mostly from people who for some reason beyond me thought they would get the magazine for free when you have to buy it normally. Everyone I know thought that it was obvious the app was free but you would have to buy the magazine. Pretty much common sense. As for the moron who was swearing because it didn't give him an option to exit the current issue.... Try tapping the stupid screen. If you like Maximum PC, this is a great option! Btw the latest Feb issue was immediately available.

BEWARE. Just opening this app up to download a current issue on my device (subscribed), was charged for some additional issue costing almost the same amount as a yearly subscription. BAD & SLEAZY method to use by this app. Stay away from it. Also, Apple needs to allow for for a zero stars rating. This app would get that rating from me if it were possible.

Just subscribed and it’s not recognizing me. I’ve done what’s recommended by uninstalling the app and restoring my purchases with iTunes and it still doesn’t recognize me as a subscriber.

Doubled their rates..mags I paid for are now gone... Constantly re-downloading issues I have already paid for...crappy overall service.

Works fine. I'm also a long time MaxPC reader. Downloaded the app, bought a year's subscription, downloaded it, and it displays nicely. As I would expect from them. No problems of any sort.

App no longer works right. For some time now every time I try to get the latest issue, the system tries to charge me for a single issue - even though I have an annual subscription...( and indicates so at the top of my library) To get the latest issue, I have to uninstall and reinstall the app, then restore my purchases, then download the issue - EVERY time. Tried contacting the publisher (at several of their US offices) and have never received a response back or gotten someone on the phone. This mag/app should be pulled from the store until it’s fixed. This situation is totally unacceptable. iTunes Store support “can’t” help either, according to them.

Terrible App. Future Plc makes terrible magazine app. It is almost impossible to get a subscription from them that will work on more than one device (iPhone and iPad). They seem to make you purchase the magazines more than once if you want to read it on your iPhone and iPad. You are better off subscribing to their pdf format...at least with that you can read on a PC and multiple devices.

Getting nothing for my subscription. I have been subscribing to the iPad version of this for several months now, but haven't had a chance to read. When I went to read, there were no issues available. I clicked "restore purchases" and it found none. So I downloaded an issue, and was charged again. So what exactly in my subscription paying for? How can I download the last several months of purchases?

Keeps on asking to rate it. So one star for unrelenting headache of being asked to rate it

A must have. Been an avid reader for 15 yrs now and i love this magazine. With their help I’ve built over 12 rigs and loved them all. Just used their March issue to help my son build his first rig.

Annoying subscription reset. I love the mag, but this app wants me to cancel and carry around paper copies. Or cancel all together. It constantly resets my subscription and I have to download my issues all over again. I've been reading for almost 30 years, so I love the mag...but at this point I'd almost rather wait for it in the mail. Last "special issue" was articles from last 5 months...worthless. Update: Now it charges me when a new issue comes out even though I'm paying for a subscription. Congratulations...you got me to unsubscribe after 20+ years with this magazine.

Go-To for Do-It yourselfer's. This is the magazine I go to. For info on new PC tech and how-to's. By the first issue I bought I was inspired to build my own custom computer. I have built four personal computers since my first issue. And this magazine is recommended to anyone who wants performance comparisons in various hardware configurations. Jump into your first digital edition and do upgrade price comparisons, new build performance architectures, purchase a first-build do-it-yourself kit, and try out the suggested benchmarking apps or compare various OS features. Learn about anti-virus apps and more.

Love this magazine, but....... I don't care what the price of this magazine is. I love maximum pc. I did have higher expectations for it though when it came over to iOS devices. Download the edge magazine app on newsstand to see what I wanted for the maximum pc app. Edge magazine is a video game magazine, but it's not the content I'm talking about here. I want everyone to SEE how maximum pc should change their direction to something like what Edge is doing, but with a maximum pc spin.

Great....but. Great magazine. Been getting it for years. I did the subscription, but 1 problem though and why only four stars. The newest issue has been in stores and on regular magazine racks for awhile now. I know there might be a little delay but it's been almost a month since I have seen that issue. Why the lag? Why not a newer issue already?

Alright, as long as you never wipe your device. Everything was good. Got a few issues and read through them and everything was still fine. Then one day I did a reset on the device and redownloaded the magazine. I had nothing. The current issue showed I had to pay to get it. I tried restoring purchases. Multiple times. Still nothing. All that money wasted, and there wasn't even any way to back any of it up.

Used to be great until Future US got lazy with updates. What a great way to kill a good publication. Future US has destroyed Maximum PC and all the once great publications. Sometimes the app works and sometimes it doesn’t. Always have to restore purchases every time I open the app just to read or download. Now it won’t load at all giving an error that it cannot access the App Store. Thanks, Future US, for making me unsubscribe and help pay for these excellent tech journalists. Maximum PC, you should ditch Future US. I will re-subscribe if you choose a better platform.

The best computer magazine. Maximum PC has great real world info that's actually useful. Their reviews are not swayed by advertisers at all. Minimum BS is the way all companies should be. The app works great on the iPad 3. It looks sharp and reacts fast. Thanks for putting out a great mag!

Maximum Awesome. The magazines are up to date. Good job. I like the index feature where you can swoosh quickly throw the pages, with your thumb. Also the mag looks great on a 4S retina display. 99 cents a month is a good price. I am trying to bring your stars back up a little.

Echo echo. It's obvious someone is there, because I just got a bug fix app update....but where is the content I've already paid 2 months for, and I'm 2-3 weeks behind the paper issue. You'd think a tech company would have a scanner laying around the office somewhere and could get this online...we all know that's BS since they build the magazine on a computer! File, save as PDF, upload. Hey Gordon, I have a rant for you... UPDATE: Hey look at that, someone found a scanner! It's up to date now...I'm watching it before I subscribe again. Remember, Nook app has maximum PC subscription too for .99. I'm watching to see who updates first, then deciding.

Great app for aging eyes.. Excellent app for reading max pc for someone who has trouble reading the smaller print of hard copy mags.

App is Glitchy. When it works, the app is ok. However I frequently have trouble downloading content. The app acts as though I don’t have a subscription and requires me to purchase individual editions, even though my digital subscription is still active and not expired. On multiple occasions I had to reach out to technical support. And tech support is glitchy too. Depending on how you contact tech support (through the app or the website), your request will go to one of three or so different support entities all based out of the U.K. And they’ll suggest things to try, none of which work, and you’ll need to put up with it for two weeks trying hopeless solutions before someone in tech support finally understands what you’re having an issue with and fixes the problem. Argh.

Interesting Definition of "Free". Downloaded this app before a long plane flight. I opened the app and what did I find but a menu where you could buy issues. Max PC is a decent enough mag, but the idea of downloading a "free" app just so I can have the ability to then buy issues irks me. That's like a restaurant offering "free drinks", but when you get there they tell you the cups are free, you still have to pay full price for the soda that goes in them. Stick to CPU, that one is honestly free.

Pixelation is still present on new iPad.. There is still pixelation after page turns from the new iPad. This issue really has to get fixed. The new 2.0 update has less pixelation, but the issue is not completely resolved yet. I hope you can finally fix this problem soon. The magazine should also be more interactive rather than just a PDF of the print copy. The interface of the magazine selection has it be redesigned. It displays the issues from 2011 first and the newer issues are located towards the bottom. The newest issue should always be on the top of the list. The issues from 2011 should be removed from the list as they are no longer relevant. Also, the price to buy singe copies is too expensive, they should cost at most $1.99 each.

Max Review. This is one of the best PC magazines out there. I've been a subscriber for many years and the switch to digital has been a blessing on my storage of the useful issues (some for years after they are printed). Whenever I build a new computer, or are looking for info on useful software, this is the first place I look.

Fix the subscription bug already. I have a subscription through iTunes and every time I want to download the next issue I have to hunt in the help section for the option to restore my purchases. Just stupid.

Forced to purchase issue each month though subscribed. Both the Maximum PC and PC Gamer magazine apps deserve less than one star. Each month, a person either needs to reinstall the app and restore purchases or pay for every new magazine each month, even with a monthly subscription. I’ve subscribed to each magazine for countless years, but after dealing with this broken app for nearly a year now, I’m unsubscribing. It’s not worth the aggravation, and Apple should pull the app.

Please update the app. Regularly having problems downloading the latest issue (tries to charge me but I’m a subscriber). Doesn’t support the latest iPad Pro sizes. Really should be better supported considering its a tech publication.

Doesn’t work. You app does not allow me to access my digital subscription. Only tries to milk more money from me to buy each issue independently. I paid for the subscription I want access to the digital editions or give me a refund.

Best of the Last. Max PC is one of the best of the last computer magazines left in print. I was a little skeptical about their emag but they ended up doing a great job with it. Every article seems to be reproduced almost exactly as their print mag. I was really disappointed with PC Mags emag version, but Max PC is a much better publication in the long run. I bought it with my print subscription and only paid 5 dollars more. I think you'll like it if your in to building your own PC.

I like it.. Well, in my opinion, this magazine doesn't seem to have detailed information about overclocking or extreme computers. Most of the information look like scratching the surface. However, the price point is really aggressive. I can buy an issue for just a dollar when I subscribe. But if you are not going to subscribe, I think it is a little bit overpriced.

Stop crashing. Wish these mag apps would stop crashing all the time! You'd think they'd have figured out how to present a magazine efficiently on an iPad by now. Maximum PC as a magazine is great though! I wish it had a little more content as sometimes the magazine feels short, but otherwise great photos and editorials. I know they say a new website is coming, but it can't get here fast enough! They could be doing so much more if they had both the magazine and the website pumping out great content! I never understood why Maximum PC wouldn't incorporate videos etc. into the digital versions of the mag. Al la Wired. It's readers are tech savvy and would enjoy that cross over from site to page.

Ummm, duh....of course you have to subscribe!. I have learned to take reviews on the ITunes Store with a whole salt shaker. All you knuckleheads that rated this app poorly need to learn how to read. Of course the app is free, it's the vehicle necessary to get the subscription. The subscription price is a reasonable 99 cents a month. It appears that you can get back issues for $7.99 which seems a little steep. As for the app itself, it's great. I love MaxPC, but didn't renew my print subscription last time around because I just don't have time to read it with a busy life that includes a lot of travel. With this app and my IPad usually in tow, I look forward to coming back. The app installed easily. I subscribed for 99 cents a month, renewed monthly, and the current issue downloaded in a few minutes over 3G. Well worth it!

A most Have!. If your into electronics then this is a most have Magazine in your collection. I've been with the magazine since the 90's. If you like computers, console games and new info on upcoming electronics then you need this Magazine.

Great App, Great Price, Great Content. For those in the know, Maximum PC is the only game in town when it comes to magazines focused on PC enthusiasts. For those who ask why a magazine... Well, it is taste thing. You either like it or not. It works for me when I want to see a "briefing" of all the news worthy stuff that happened within the last month in the PC hardware world. Not everybody has enough time to follow specialized websites every day to be up-to-date on a niche subject and that is when a nice laid out magazine can help. Maximum PC is perfect for that! Articles are well summarized containing the relevant information written by people who know what they are talking/writing about. The App just works! It is simple and to-the-point. And the subscription model of $0.99 per issue is brilliant. It is well worth the money to have such a beautifully designed magazine made by Pros like this. Bottom line: Highly recommended!

App wants me to buy latest issue. Although the app shows I have an active annual subscription, it wants be to purchase the current issue when I go to download it. I see this is a common issue, so I hope this is resolved soon. I know how to fix it, reset credentials, reinstall, download all issues you want to read again.... not a great solution when traveling, especially for anyone that doesn’t have unlimited data it’s their wireless carrier

Downloading Issues Multiple Times. Enjoy reading the magazine, but lately it rests and I have to download issues again and again. Until this really annoying feature is fixed, it doesn't get more than 1 star, as the app appears to be broken. :(

I like it. Good app

A Great Read but a bit expensive. This is an excellent magazine for those who love PC technology life myself. The only reservation I have is that I think it'd be a lot better if they reduced the price.

Cheap access to interesting content. I bought a one year subscription for I around $10 which is a bargain. Reviews are ok, would like them to be longer, and I'm not a fan of apple and console bashing as it wastes words and is juvenile. If you like reading about pc hardware you'd like this.

Free????. Not sure why this magazine is advertised in the 'free' area when, once you download it you're prompted to pay 7.99. Suggestion: If it's not free, don't pretend that it is.....you're just wasting my time and patience along with many others!!

Good. Good

Problems. Can't display anything on the store tab so I can no longer download new issues even though this version is supposed to fix that

Really great magazine!. I really enjoy MaximumPC. It keeps me up to date on all the latest tech news. Their app is easy to use, and the price for a subscription is more then affordable.

Disappointed. I subscribed for 1 year and now the store is not loading on my iPhone. Support has no fix or update other than hard reboot and re-install which doesn't work.

Not optimized for iOS. Been really behind the game there.

Since upgrading, my subscription seems to be cancelled. Since I upgraded, I am not longer allowed to download new monthly releases. My 1 year subscription started in February, and I was charged for 1 year subscription. Why can't I get any more releases?

Best magazine ever!!. I love this magazine so much, lots of content, and ads (so few of them) that actually interest me! If you like computers then this is the magazine for you.

Fantastic!. Just love all the content, makes sitting around after school much more fun; especially when I've finished watching all of my subscriptions' videos. Keep up the good work!

It's great but.... Can you keep your editions when you subscribe? If so, everyone would get a subscription for $0.99 and not pay $7.99 for one edition...right? Or am i just completely wrong?

It’s a pity that I cannot give 0 star. I was charged $9.99 for downloading the newest volume while my subscription had been active for years. Wrote customer support email, however, got no answer. Wrote another letter, no answer. Just wondering if I should keep writing until somebody replies me. Or maybe not, probably they put me onto the blocking list.

This app runs on Windows 95. This app is pure garbage. 10 bucks for a digital copy of a magazine that came out in 2014 ? Or you can pay 12 bucks to subscribe then another 50$ cuz the the subscription is just right to "download"not the magazines. The free ones won't download load. Zero stars. For a pc magazine I really thought they would know how to make a app that works GARBAGE!!!!

Excellent. Love this app, reading MaximumPC on my ipad pro without any issues.

Love the magazine. My dad gave me a bunch of Maximum PC mags when I told him I was going to build my first PC. Now I'm subscribing right into the digital format (I'm a post-paper-medium kinda guy). I can't think of anything to say other than... keep providing more of the great stuff you already do! I love keeping up to date with all the tech news.

Stop complaining. Its 99cents per month for an issue and about 100pages of info. I say its an awesome price!

Great mag! Good deal!. Maximum PC is a terrific magazine. The subscription price can't be passed up, compared to buying the paper copy in-store. What would be better is if the mgazine was made available via the Zinio app. Zinio has a faster download service plus the magazine can still be read as it downloads. Maybe the Newsstand app can be made to work (and look) better. Oh well, just having magazines such as this available on the iPad is a convenience in itself anyway.

Digital vs hard copy. At 99 cents a month for subscription and $12.00 dollars an issue at the local book store. It makes more sense to get it here. Sure I don't recieve all the inserts and CDs that end up cluttering my office I just get to enjoy the articles. Now only if I had an iPad to make reading them a little easier on the eyes.

Nice. Cool

Love the Mag!. An awesome magazine that is very well put together, but it needs to be optimized for the iPhone 6 and 6+. Lots of wasted screen on my 6+. If they could do that I would give 5 stars easy!

Crashing. Maybe it was just me but on my iPhone 4S it was awesome at first and I read some of it, but after I closed it, it would not open. It kept crashing. Other wise a good app if I could open it.

Sweet Irony. Maximum PC on the IPad. Does it get any better than this?

Love IT!. Been in IT for a year and love this mag to keep me up to date with the up and coming gear!

Always the help I'm looking for. Love this magazine, great price

Great help when you need it!. Great helpful hints

Highly recommended. Great app! Text and graphics are clear and downloading a new magazine is easy. Subscription for the monthly magazine is at an extremely reasonable price of only 99c/mo. You can also re-downloaded any previously purchased magazine at any time. I'm very impressed with the price and quality of the application and content, keep it up guys!

Great. Read multiple mags on the go? It works. Good stuff!

Very poor service. I paid for the service and I can't download any magazine. I find it hard to contact this company Future Plc. Their website doesn't even give means to be contacted. Apple Store help menu doesn't seem to be helpful to file a complaint neither. On top of everything MaximumPC magazine itself is not that helpful at all. Great digital commerce all.

Where's my magazine?. I too, a long time Maximum PC print reader, subscribed to the digital copy for my iPad only to find out I got One copy for a full years payment. I received a message saying its ready for download, but it still hasn't downloaded. Is this an iTune issue or do you have to deal with Future. Not happy at all.

Best PC magazine anywhere.. I have been reading this magazine since its inception and it is still one of my primary sources of info in the PC world.

Does NOT Download DO NOT BUY YET (update). Ok fixed the download problem. Well worth a buck an issue !! Thanks !! Sounded great, a subscription for only .99 an issue except one problem.. The issue won't download it just says waiting, I've contacted the publishing company twice but they still haven't gotten back to me in almost a week. When you see my review go to 4 or 5 stars then they fixed the problem until then don't buy.

In-app purchase must be enabled to look at already purchased issues.. I suppose the app itself is okay except for the annoying requirement that in-app purchases be enabled to read something that is already purchased. This is the only magazine app that I have with this requirement. Very annoying.

Not all that great. Tries to force notifications on you. No frills worth having. Magazine content is frankly becoming past tense. Have seen both better apps and better magazines.

Good, would benefit from news section. What I really miss is having some of Max PCs good humoresque news...maybe a separate tab?

Subscription took a while. It took a while to recognize the subscription. I posted an inflammatory post as a result. This is a place holder while I get an opinion, now that I have content.

Longtime Reader … bought subscription … no downloads!! Maximum BS!. I've been reading MaximumPC magazine since the days it was Byte Magazine … jumped at the option to digitally download to my iPad and easily take my MaximumPC mags on the road. Subscribed, but can't get any thing to download … what gives!!?? Maximum BS if you ask me!

Continued to please. MPC has always been a good magazine and continues to please. Also great app for digital.

App just doesn't work. This app is buggy. I had to reformat my iPad and now the app won't load anything at all. I can't restore my purchased magazines or even purchase new ones - nothing but spinning wheels. Oh but you know what still works great? The billing cycle for my 99 cents a month. Lame.

Great magazine. Looking for the latest and greatest? I love referring to this magazine for further purchases, tips, tricks, and reviews. Overall great magazine for newcomers and experts alike.

Tax.. :/. I really love this app and magazine, only reason it gets 4 is because it has issues with the way it looks on my iDevice. There are pieces missing. 99 cents is a good price but I also get charged 7 cents in tax.. Stupid isn't it?

Once like no other, goes thru motions but still helpful.. Boot was an amazing magazine, exciting, I learned so much over the years from the doctor. I think much of the excitement has gone out and pc's are commodities and less the new frontier.

Ripoff!!!. Every print magazine I subscribe allows me to download an iPad version- can't find anyway that Maximum PC allows that. They want more money on top of everything already paid. If you already are a print subscriber, avoid this unless you want to be ripped off!

Broken App. Have tried to subscribe since May, but the app shows "No Products Found" in the store. Have deleted and reloaded more than 5 times -- to no avail. Wrote an e-mail to Future in June. Got an automated reply, and nothing since. Apparently they can't be bothered to support their app. Guess I'll have to buy it in paper.

Great Mag, Great App. Icon for the magazine is somehow hidden from newsstand. Can't get it to come back. Can only open by going into App Store.

The best computer magazine. Maximum PC has great real world info that's actually useful. Their reviews are not swayed by advertisers at all. Minimum BS is the way all companies should be. The app works great on the iPad 3. It looks sharp and reacts fast. Thanks for putting out a great mag!

Lame. I'll pay but not twice.. Ok, I have no problem paying for this magazine, but I'm not going to pay twice for the added "convenience" of getting to read it on my tiny iPhone screen. A print subscription should give access to the e-version. Even crazier, the e-version is significantly more expensive than the print version can be had for.

Good but needs work. Especially for a PC magazine, I feel like this could easily be much better. The price is great and the viewing is rich, but the interface is terrible. Please do not fullscreen the app when not viewing a magazine. Just switch to full screen when viewing a document. Also the integration itself could use some work...just downloading and viewing a PDF...well, if I wanted that I could get it free. Regardless, I love the content and the price is awesome.

PDF. It's just a PDF of the magazine. Unfortunately it's not like Wired's awesome iPad magazine. The text is small but you can zoom but you have to un-zoom to go to the next page. I love Maximum PC but not loving the app. Really need to look at what Wired has done. I'd pay more for a better experience. Not sure I'll continue subscribing unless it gets much better for iPad reading.

Really unfortunate! Could have been a contender.. I love the magazine, but hate the app. I signed up for the subscription, but only got one issue, which is like two issues behind what I can buy at the store. I guess print isn't dead after all. Fix the app please. I promise I'll sign up.

Written with personality. I read lots of techie blogs and websites; but I pay for MaximumPC because the articles are written with such great personality.

This is great!. Love it, great low price for great content. I am very happy with this subscription 👍👍👍👍👍 I don't understand the negative reviews!

Not really a digital edition. - The digital edition is just the print edition, page for page. - Layout and advertising are not optimized for viewing on a mobile device. - Much of the text is too small to be read without excessive zooming and panning. - No table of contents; just thumbnails for each page which are too small to be useful. - No interactive front cover. - No multimedia or interactive content.

Great app for a great magazine. Nothing fancy like Wired's iPad edition but offers a simple way to read the magazine. I do miss the best of the best items that were at the end of the magazine.

Great app. Good magazine few free copies bought a subscription keep the updates coming fellas

Ugh hate the app. Love the magazine. Hate the app. It lags, freaks out trying to figure out which issues are mine, downloads slow, and $8 for a digital back issue is craziness. I would stick to print and delete this if I still lived in the states!

Real Reviews. I love this publication because it actually gives out ratings. They will tell when they like a product and when they don't.

New issue notification won't go away. I got all the digi magazines downloaded and I still have the blue dot indicating there is a new issue, it also causes the main library app to show a red number one indicating on of my subscription has a new issue, could you please fix this?

A Bargain. So far, so good! Getting this much content for such a low price is a real value. Bravo!

Issues with Subscriptions. I've been a subscriber for more than a year, but hadn't downloaded the February-May issues. Now I can't download them without getting charged! I can't get to them through the back issues screens or through the store.

Meh. I love the magazine, not crazy about the app. I'd expect something more interactive out of a tech magazine, and I certainly would expect links from the table of contents to the articles. That's kind of a must Like I said, though, AWESOME magazine!

I'm back Maxpc. Sweetness is having maximum PC on my iPad mini. Works sweet with obviously incredible advantages over the paper mag. Great price great reading and info and a sweet app.

Takes 5 seconds to repaint each page. Takes 5 seconds to repaint each page. I would wait if you have an iPad 3 until they fix this problem...

Best Mag Ever!. MaximumPC is the best resource I have ever read. I have been a loyal reader for more than 10 years. Love the info and love the disc. Thank you for what you do and keep up the great work!

Maximum PC. As a long time reader, I have to say this is still the best magazine for the computer enthusiasts out there. Keep up the good work. And long live the PC.

Best tech magazine. I have been reading the site for many years , only been subscribing to the magazine for a few years. Best tech magazine out there.

Pleasantly surprised. Recommended.. I must say I was surprised how much I enjoyed this magazine. I did a trial subscription and liked the first issue so much I'm keeping the subscription. Very good info and well written.

One of only two subscriptions I've maintained. Very convenient way to read a great magazine and keep it organized for future reference.

DON'T SUBSCRIBE!. This is a horrible app. You pay for a subscription and cannot download the subscription. There is horrible support and the support they list does not work. Don't waste your money on this junk app. Would be zero stars if it was possible.

All things PC!. Great resource to know what is and what's soon to be in power computing and gameing.

When do we get an APP?. The world best computer magazine puts out an App that is so crude, it is unpleasant to read. Shrinking down the actual pages of the print version is not an "App." This is the same lazy trick the New Yorker does. It is easier to read the Maximum PC website than this indolent app.

99 CENTs a month?. Reinstalled! Ok you got me sold. Thanks for listening to the people giving us an affordable price.

Challenge accepted. Great publication! I look forward to the Dream Machine, and building one to top it! This year I hope Gordon pulls out all the stops!

Crashes all the time. I used to love this app but now all it does is crash when it tries to open an issue. I cannot read all the issues I paid for. This is extremely frustrating. I have iOS8 and an iPad Air. I thought it was Newstand, but it's Maximum PC. None of my other magazines crash like this.

Money Suckers. Let's see if i have this straight. I have a paid subscription to the print version of magazine. I contacted Future Publishing and was told that I do NOT qualify for the iPad versions of same magazines. So, in order for me to get a digital copy of exact same magazines that get delivered to my house, I have to pay how much?! I got a 2-year print subscription for $24!!!

Magazine app that steps up. Have had almost no problems with app. One issue wouldn't load but that's it out of a year plus worth of issues. Price is great, a pc lovers must...

Not good.. No new issues released in 2+ months, even though I was foolish enough to buy a subscription. Do NOT subscribe until you see new issues posted in the app! As others have stated, the magazine is basically a PDF.

Magazines finally came in. I now have two months of magazines in the system. If they keep delivering in a timely manner it will go from 3 to 5 stars
