Should grow a little more overtime. For the last five years Strong has been my faithful gym companion. I love the fact that it’s a bare-bones app made for people who know what they’re doing. My gripes are few but significant. 1) When editing a custom routine, you can remove exercises from a superset, but you cannot add exercises to a superset. I’m order to do that you have to delete the entire routine and enter the whole thing again from scratch. This is incredibly annoying as you can’t add to your routine “on the fly”. 2) Rest timers are assigned to an exercise, regardless of which routine it’s in. As in some of my routines take a 5 second to 2 minute timer, depending on which routine it is in, this is frustrating. 3) I really wish kettlebell exercises could be entered as such. (I have to designate them as dumbbell exercises). It would be very helpful to us “Kettlebellers” to be able to designate an exercise as a “Kettlebell” exercise and indicate whether single or double Kettlebells are used.

Not completing all exercises in a routine on watch deletes them from the routine. Edit: Fixed!! Thank you, Strong! Got 2 more people using it in the last week. Hey! I love this app! I use it every day and tell people in my classes to use it! The new update has a really bad bug though. It breaks my use case. I use the new watch with data, so I don’t have to bring my phone with me to the gym. I only use the watch and I log everything on the watch. When I perform a routine and do not perform an exercise or two, those exercises that are not performed are deleted from the routine after save!! I have to go and add them back every time. This breaks my use case. For example, my Tuesday routine contains abs, chest and triceps. I normally load the routine and do abs before I teach my spin class, save routine, then load the routine again after class to do my chest and triceps. But when I opened the routine after spin, the chest and triceps exercises are gone! This has happened every time. Even after I go back and fix it, they are removed again. Please fix!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ll change to 5 stars for fixing.

Great app... Apple Watch app needs slight improvement. I’ve used Strong for years and it’s really helped me improve my workouts. The only thing that continues to bother me is all the steps needed to take when finishing a workout on the watch app. Maybe I’m missing something in settings, but PLEASE add a way to streamline when finishing a workout on the watch. You have to hit finish workout, and then done, and then if your routine was any different than what was previously saved, there’s an option to either “keep original workout routines, or update to new routine”. Something to that effect. I’d really appreciate it if we could change that in settings to always keep original workouts. Or just make it less steps in general. I know It’s just a small annoyance, but coupled with a slight loading time after I hit each option it really slows down completing a workout. Otherwise love the app and continued updates!

Best workout tracker app for serious weightlifters. This is the only app I have ever given 5 stars to, and I feel like it has earned it. It is the best tracking app for strength training and weightlifting there is. Period. I’ve tried several workout apps (I even gave my man Chris Hemsworth’s app a go), but none of them have stood up to Strong in terms of pure utility. I’ve been using Strong for about 4 years now, and it is my favorite app, hands-down. It has a huge wealth of features for building sets, and it contains a massive library of exercises. It also lets you superset, set auto rest timers, and add and categorize your own exercises if you’re feeling creative. It makes routines or lets you start empty sets. It is also automation-compatible! If you have an Apple Watch, it gets even better—the Apple Watch companion app to Strong (which comes with the phone app) is amazing. I can track workouts from my watch without my phone, and if I have both on me, they can sync my workouts in real-time so I can make edits/record sets on both at the same time. This app clearly had a lot of thought put in under the hood, and it becomes very intuitive to use after the first few uses. While it occasionally has glitches, I have found this app entirely worth it. Recent updates have only made it better and more stable! Don’t just take my word for it—give it a try. It’s an impressive app.

Great app, outstanding support. I’ve been using this app for 10 months now I tried the free version for a couple weeks and quickly found that I wanted to expand my routines list. I am since very happy with the purchased version. I specifically chose this app for it’s ease of use and integration with the Apple Watch. I like using the watch interface to record my reps and sets within my routine and it helps keep me progressing knowing what my previous set weight and reps were. I also like how it updates various health apps I use with my phone. Just recently I had an issue where my watch app was stuck in a loop of trying to launch & failing each time. I tried powering off my watch and also a hard reset, but couldn’t get the app to shut down. I finally reached out to the strong app support via email and they responded within an hour or so, very impressed. Carlo informed me that there was a hotfix out for the app and to try again after the update. Thankfully that fixed my issue and I am back to my workout routine. I have 2 app enhancements I would like. a timer based exercise. For example if I want do a set of planks for 1 minuet each. It would be nice to have a timer count each “rep” down for me. I would LOVE to be able to swipe left on the app to get to my music playlist. Other then that, I’m very happy with this app and it’s function and integration into my routine.

Best App I’ve Found. I’ve downloaded more than a dozen workout apps and spent significant time with about a half dozen. This is by far the best that I’ve found for daily weight-training workout. It is flexible enough for a wide range of resistance-training routines. Once you set up your routines on your iPhone app, you can easily start and track your weights and reps from the Apple Watch, which is wonderful. I still usually bring my phone with me for quicker data entry and easier ability to tweak routines. I also can share my workout with my wife and workout partner so that if I go to the gym alone in the morning, they can do the same routine as me (and see my weights). I really appreciate the ability to share workouts. They’ve even made it so you can start workouts with Siri shortcuts, “Hey Siri, start leg day” etc. I’ve been using this app daily for more than a month as has my wife. The free version of the app is totally usable. We both have upgraded to the annual subscription, primarily to support the developer for an incredible app but also we like the additional features. Yet, if you are looking for a fully functional free app, this works too.

Best app ever for workouts. I’ve cycled through my fair share of workout apps trying to find the perfect one for me. The biggest problem I’ve run across with most apps is the difficulty/loss of function I have when I use it on my Apple Watch. This one, however, is not the case. It is super easy to create workouts and add exercises mid-workout (on the watch). The countdown timer helps keep me on track and is easy to adjust while I’m between sets. It keeps track on my PRs and I have the option to update my routines at the end of my workout, which I love because I make minor tweaks each workout, including the order. Finally-tech support is AMAZING. I noticed a glitch this morning and emailed the developer. I got a super quick response and by the evening they had an update that fixed the glitch. All the while, they kept me in the loop which is much appreciated.

Excellent app up on phone watch is glitchy. I’ve used this app for 53 days now and the phone app is perfect. It has pretty much everything I need I could change my set reps exercises custom workouts fantastic but…… ever since updating to the newest iOS and updating my Apple Watch. The Watch app is super glitchy does not sync with the Phone app and whenever I try to cancel or finish workouts on the watch, it goes nowhere. the last week or so I get into the gym in the morning and go to start my next workout and it’s still tracking a workout from the previous day and nothing I can do to end the workout without deleting every single exercise, then trying to hit cancel, and that doesn’t even work anymore I had to finally uninstall the app on my watch and just resort to using the phone which is fine I would like to not have to pull my phone out of my pocket during the workout if possible but I’m grateful to at least have that to track my workout efficiently

Amazing App, Amazing People!. My mom and I have both allowed ourselves to get so busy with life that we allowed ourselves to get off of our diets, and not be able to find time for the gym. I work on ships at sea for months at a time, so it's not always easy to eat healthy or workout. While I've been home on vacation, we have been in the gym every day, and have both been on the strictest diets. I'm down almost 40 pounds in 6 weeks, and she's also doing incredible. I don't tell you this to brag, I tell you this because your app has enabled us to continue this lifestyle when I go back to work. I had to leave last week for training, then I'll go home for a week then head back to sea. Because of your app, I was able to build some workout routines so that my mom can know exactly what exercises she needs to do each day to continue to succeed while I'm not there. You have LITERALLY set us up for success. Part of building a company and offering a product that often gets overlooked is improving people's lives. You guys have done this not only in building this product, but also in who you have chosen to represent your company on the customer service front. You are making all the right decisions. I can't tell you how much I pray for your continued success. Thank you for improving the lives of your fellow people in everything that you do.

Great for causal and serious weight lifters. I’ve been using this app for years, since setting up a home gym in my garage. It was great for casual weight-lifting and trying to figure out what lifts I could do with my set up to hit different target areas and keeping track of how much I lifted last. When the pandemic hit this year and triggered my anxiety, I turned to more intense weight lifting in my nice little isolated gym to help cope. I’ve gone from 0-2 casual workouts per week to 4-5 hour-long intense workouts and I’ve made use of more of the features in the app - designing new routines, calculating warm-up sets for my riskier heavy lifts, and tracking my progress in chart form so I know when to start trying for higher weights. Now I’m up to 275 workouts in this app and I’m seeing results. This app is beautifully designed, very flexible and great for weight lifters at any level. It’s never annoying and it poses no limitations to doing your workout your way at your pace. I’ve tried instructor-led videos and I hate every one of them. There is one thing I would add though - The plate math calculator is maybe the best feature in this app, but it’s limited to known, common bar weights. It works great for my barbell and curl bar, but my smith machine bar weighs 25 pounds and there is no option for that. I have to set it as the 20lb curl bar and remember to subtract 2.5 for each side as I’m loading the plates.

Apple Watch App Doesn’t Work. I’ll start by saying that I am an early adopter and have logged well over 600 workouts with Strong. I have no complaints with the iPhone app, it is great. My issues are with the Apple Watch app. It basically doesn’t function. It crashes multiple times every workout, almost every set. My workouts will not transfer to my phone. When I try to add exercises, it crashes. I could go on. 5 stars for the iPhone app, 1 star for the Apple Watch app. Hardware isn’t the issue, either - I’m using an XS Max and a Series 4 AW. I reached out to the support team three days ago and have yet to get a response. Happy to upgrade to five stars when they fix this. The Apple Watch app used to work great about six months ago, the last time I had an Apple Watch. It looks like right now it is suffering from the developers trying to do too much with it and not paying enough attention to its core functionality - its the software equivalent of the Galaxy Fold, if you know what I mean.

A bit buggy. I often have to force quit and restart the app on my Apple Watch to get exercises or sets I added to an in progress workout to show up. Same goes for changing the reps or weights of a set. I use the app on my phone in tandem with the watch app, and if I finish a set on my watch by hitting the green timer button it sets a timer, but when I click the check mark to finish a set on my phone the timer doesn’t start. It used to work on the phone and it randomly did the other day for 1 workout, and now it’s back to not showing when I complete sets on my phone. I can still manually start a timer on my phone but that’s a pain after every set when it should start automatically. I’ve looked for bug fixes online and I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. Hopefully someone from strong can comment back here and help because I couldn’t find anything on the help or troubleshooting sections of the website either

Great App, Even Better Support. Been using the app for quite some time now and absolutely love it. So easy to create your own workouts to use and you can track pretty much everything. Super simple to see your recorded weight, weight from last workout if you want to increase, etc. The part I like most is the interaction via my Apple Watch. Love being able to start my workouts from my watch and record any weight/rep changes as I go and best of all a built in rest timer so I don’t wait too long in between sets. Had a hiccup this last update for iOS 13 release but I contacted support letting them know of the issue I was having with the app crashing on my Apple Watch and the response was quick. They let me know they were aware of the issue and already working on a fix to roll out for it. Was contacted again as soon as they released the fix to make sure it fixed my issue, which it did. Couldn’t ask for better support for an app. Bottom line, just get this app, you won’t regret it.

Paid for the Pro version of the app back in 2016. I first downloaded this app in 2016 and decided to splurge the $5 to get the Pro version. I unfortunately fell off the workout wagon until recently. When I downloaded the app again I found quite a few things have changed since then! Most notably the subscription feature. The main reason why I really enjoyed and paid for the Pro version was that, unlike most of the others which had subscriptions, it had a simple, one time payment of $4.99 for all the features. Awesome. I logged back into my account expecting to be grandfathered in like some other people have been, but nope. Is there anyway I could get my account grandfathered in? It looks like the app has had some fantastic features added and I’m disappointed my old account I paid for has the same access as the free version. I’ve got the receipt and everything EDIT: I emailed them about the issue and they stayed true to their word about grandfathering in my account!

5 stars on my phone, 1 star on my watch. I’ve been using this app for a few years now, and it’s everything you could ask of it. Creating workout routines and logging is a breeze, though there are some small things I’d love to be able to do (like add another exercise to a superset). The phone app is reliable and never crashes or loses a workout. I will never need another app to track my lifts. The watch app, on the other hand, is garbage. I tried to log a workout from my new AW Series 4 and the app crashed to the main screen (watch face) in between each set. When I ended that workout (which never synced with the app, BTW), I started one in the phone app and the companion watch app opened... but then crashed again. The watch app is essentially unusable. It’s probably harsh to drop the rating to three stars based on the watch app, since the phone app is so fantastic, but the fact that the watch app can’t even function at a basic level is too much to overlook.

iPhone app is great , Apple Watch not there yet.. I have been using this app on iPhone for awhile now and I really like it. I put a template for each workout and can store them in folders based on the program I’m using. It is easy to use and update while working out. I like that I can see what I did last time and what is planned for this workout. I have been considering an Apple Watch for some time now and finally decided to buy one based on the Strong app being available for Apple Watch. I thought it would be great to not have to pull my phone out after each set. However, I find it difficult to track my workout on the watch. I realized I was reverting to using my phone. For me, one thing that would make the watch experience much better would be a keyboard input instead of a scroll bar. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but when I input, for example, number of reps for a set it seems like the app wants to return to an earlier set. I have high hopes for this app on Apple Watch and the ability to keep my phone in my pocket. Maybe in a future release.

Simple and concise. I cannot see myself using any other app to track and plan gym routines! I love that there aren’t extra features being pushed (e.g., connect with friends, receive coaching). All I want to do is track the weight used in each set and document how many sets of each exercise I’ve done. So far, the app hasn’t failed to provide trackers for the exercises I typically do for each body area, and I love that variations with barbell, dumbbells, resistance bands, and machines are included for each type of activity. This helps me more accurately track the difficulty of my workouts - something I’ve always found annoying when keeping a pen and paper log is now streamlined and really neat-looking. One thing I cannot speak to is the pre-set templates as I prefer to create my own since I workout in a small gym with limited equipment. On that note though, it’s great that the app allows you to save the templates you’ve created so you can build on them as your strength increases or boredom kicks in!

Loving This App. I’ve been looking for an app to help track my workouts and this one suited my needs the best. I like to create my own workouts with cardio and weight lifting, and couldn’t find anything that did a decent job without costing a fortune in monthly fees. After a few weeks of using this app I can honestly say it’s great! I love how easy it was to set up and use, and the interface looks like something apple would make. One feature I find useful is the “always on” screen. I don’t have to unlock my phone after each set or exercise, which adds to the smoothness of this app. Also, I’m in the IOS beta program currently running IOS 14.2 and haven’t had any issues. I’m not sure why this app isn’t more popular, but it should be. Great job developers!!! Thanks for a great product. 👍😊

Best Thing Since Paper. I have always had trouble using apps because I don’t want to get distracted on my phone and paper logs were always the most customizable. This app comes pretty close to the real deal, in a thoughtfully organized way. I can add rest timers, mark sets for failure Or generate warmups, and put in non-intrusive but available notes. The watch app is really well done in comparison to other apps, with a wealth of info I need laid out well. My (few) constructive criticisms are (1) I wish when setting up an exercise for time, I can set a countdown timer that logs when finished and makes a sound so I know, similar to the rest timer; (2) that some more common exercises like tricep rope pushdown, etc. makes it into the app; (3) that the app watch improves in its smooth function so I can truly leave my phone behind, and (4) that for certain cardio, like rowing, I can change the value from miles to meters, or put in resistance. However, even for missing exercises, you can create them yourself, and their library is pretty extensive, so it’s not too big of an issue.

Game changer!. This is the first app I’ve used for working out, and I am so glad I downloaded it. I love that I’ve been able to learn new workouts and create a routine. Having a checklist that you work through helps in a major way, especially since working out is pretty boring usually. The app makes it easy to see what you did previously, so it’s easy to push the weights higher and higher. The only issue I’ve had so far, is that I’d like to be able to upload photos for new workouts I create. So far strong has done a great job at making videos showing how to perform workouts and which muscles are worked, but not for every thing. You can create a new workout and label it, but I can’t seem to add a photo. Pro features don’t appear to mention this either unfortunately. Still giving this 5 stars and I’m about to upgrade to Pro. But I’d love if they would add that feature.

The absolute standard!. This is only my 2nd or 3rd review, ever. I’ve been using this app for 9 years. It was great then, and it’s incredible now. The author is constantly updating it and adding new features, without making it cluttered. That’s what makes this app so good; it’s simplicity. Over the years I’ve been using the app, I’ve gone through many “phases” of workouts. Everything from Bodybuilding, Powerlifting, CrossFit, and currently Gymnastic body weight stuff (hey, I’m getting old. 🤷‍♂️) Thanks to the ability to build custom routines and exercises, the strong app has been the best tracker I’ve come across for any type of workout genre. I use the pinned notes feature extensively. It has all the features you want and none that you don’t. It just works. -To the creators: Thanks for grandfathering is old-timers in. It’s very much appreciated. I feel like I won the lottery by stumbling upon this gem so early.

Roland. I just purchased this app and I’ve used it for the first time in my workout this morning. The first major flaw that I see is that it will not calculate the calories you burn during the workout session logged. It also does not keep track of the total time you have worked out. It does offer you the opportunity to set rest periods in between sets but does not keep track of your total workout session time. It also does not appear to allow you to enter a custom exercise or movement. I have been using Fitness Buddy for 9 months and dont like it well enough to buy the subscription but what it does do is track your session time and calculate calories burned. The calories burned number then populates the apple health app as well as “My Fitness Pal” where I log my calorie intake and research foods. What I do like so far is the the data entry interface. I find it very intuitive well thought out, easy to log sets, weight and reps. It is color coordinated making things easier to see or identify. I also like that this app syncs with my apple watch really nicely. I also like that this app doesn't force you into a bunch of stuff you dont need or want. So far I wont start the subscription unless they add these features that are important to me. While I dont like Fitness Buddy it does do the minimum most that I need for it to do. Update: I found the workout timer. Cant find how to pause it if needed. Still unable to find a calorie consumption calculator.

Great App for Beginners!. As a beginner, this app is so helpful for tracking how often I workout, the weights and reps so I don’t forget, and learning new workouts through their mini-tutorials and walkthroughs! I downloaded the app and used their three month free trial (which is an amazing amount of time to try it to really get a feel for it would work for you or not!), and I had intended to cancel the Pro subscription right before the trial ended (like a lot us do for apps sometimes). And nope! I loved it so much and at $30 a year, it’s price is comparable or cheaper than buying a physical workout tracker or subscribing to other apps, but it’s connivence is so much better! I don’t have any critiques and the one thing on my “wishlist” is for the workouts per week to be iPhone widget compatible so I can add it to my Home Screen to keep me accountable and motivated to complete my workouts every week.

Apple watch app. Am I the ONLY person that the Apple Watch app will NOT sync workouts or send workouts to the app? I’ve reinstalled and updated my apps EVERY TIME they update and it STILL DOES NOT WORK Their customer service is 5 stars but this review is for the Apple watch app. I’ve been using strong since it’s inception, the very beginning, and I bought the Apple Watch SOLELY so i could ditch my phone during my lifting sessions. The problem is, the workouts DONT sync back to the app. I’ve done everything they suggested, uninstalled, reinstalled, repaired, unpaired and NOTHING works. The Apple health app has the workouts logged so I know the information is being sent to the phone and something is wrong with the app. Every other app I have on my watch is able to sync information to their mobile counterparts instantly and reliably. This is The ONLY app that will not. After communicating with customer service they could only come up with that they don’t have the problem so they can’t solve it. As someone who uses this app 26/30 days a month, I wish there was a better solution than that.

Makes tracking progress simple.. Before buying this app, I would have a set of exercises that I would work through but I never really knew what I did last time as far as weights or reps. Now I have created a template for my works and I can clearly see the weights/reps from the previous workout. This not only shows how I’ve progressed over time, it provides me with goals to beat during the current session. This is a game changer! And it wouldn’t be great if they didn’t make logging everything so easy. That’s what makes this app so effective. It’s simple to use and intuitive. The video tutorials with step by step directions also gives you guidance and confidence you are doing the movements properly. I’d recommend this app to anyone who is their own personal trainer looking to record and track their progress overtime.

Love this app. Almost everyone goes into the gym with not much thought or planning. They guess they'll do arms today but can't remember what weight or sets they did last time. This app keeps you focused. Create your workout BEFORE you go in and adjust the weight/reps as needed, Or time between sets. I have two routines for chest, one for back, and one for legs and HIIT. Tells you last time you performed that workout and your results. You can easily see if your routine is getting a little easier then it's time to increase the weight or reps. Easy to add or delete sets. I also love that the timer tells me in my headphones that the break is over. When you complete a set, click the box and the timer starts. Almost every exercise is included in the search. Showed a guy in the gym who was at least recording his workouts on paper this app and he bought it that day. Works great with Apple watch also. GET IT! It will force you to get better!

Great when workouts actually show up or sync to Apple Watch. I love the Strong app when it works properly to keep track of all my workouts but the problem is the app is very inconsistent with keeping record of workouts even after I click finish (either on my watch or within the app) and the app doesn’t consistently sync to my Apple watch. Today I did an 1 hour and 45 minute workout but Strong doesn’t show I completed this workout so I have no record of what I actually completed today (not great for tracking purposes or time since I took the time to enter all my workouts while at the gym :/) The app was on the entire time and also my Apple activity app shows I completed the workout but didn’t sync any of the stats, not the minutes, heart rate or the calories; so clearly there is a big disconnect since the Strong app isn’t even showing I did the workout yet my Apple activity app is, I would assume at least the Strong app would be accurate. Well, I’m disappointed in the quality of this app since I bought it to sync to my Apple watch and the activity app since my workouts were receding just fine when I just used the activity app with Apple, guess I’m going back and finding a new workout app and just wasted money.

Best workout tracker for advanced lifters.. I’ve been seriously lifting for about 8 years, and have tried all kinds of methods for keeping track of my workouts including special notebooks, different specialized spreadsheets, all kinds of different apps, and none of them compare to Strong. I have tracked about 300 workouts over 2 years and have no complaints at all with the app. I love the ability to customize my own workout templates, and the rush of knowing that I broke through a barrier and hit a PR. The auto-rest timer is another great feature and lets me hop right into my workout every morning without having to think about that kind of stuff. If you try it and like it, I would highly recommend going for strong premium. Realistically if you’re using the app more than a few times per week, the $30/year or whatever is well worth it for the ability to hold unlimited workout templates. I have folders set up specifically for all the different gyms that I work out at, since some equipment is only available at some gyms, and the ability to select a workout that I curated is Uber-convenient.

Best app I’ve ever used to track workouts. If you’re like me and want to keep a close eye on your lifts and progression, this is the app for you. There is a subscription fee which is the most annoying part of the app, but it keeps the developer in business and with the frequent improvements it’s well worth it. I love the Apple Watch app so I can quickly look at my wrist to see what is next up in my routine and log my workouts. The app keeps track of your rest time so you don’t have to think about it. I used to have to open the Stopwatch in the Clock app and switch back and forth between Excel–where I previously stored my data. The little tap on the wrist when using the Apple Watch app is helpful and makes for a great user experience. The data visualization for each exercise is useful and there are too many features to list that are awesome. I want to highlight my experience going outside the US. When I went abroad, I had to use metric plates since everyone else uses that. With a simple setting change all my previous lifts were converted to metric so I didn’t have to sit around doing conversions to know how to load the bar. Afterwards, you can simply switch back to pounds and all the data you collected overseas is converted back to US units. For anyone who wants to get into working out and keeping a tab on their improvements, this is the app to get.

Decent work out app. This app is exactly what I have been looking for to keep my workouts organized. It gets rid of the old pen and pad nonsense and offers selections of muscle groups to build a workout. The app provides you with your more common exercises that most people would include in their routines and also gives you demonstrations with details on how to conduct the exercise. Records the length of the workout, reps, sets that you can check off as you go to stay on track and lets you know PRs after the workout is finished. You are able to create routines for daily use and share with other users who have the app as well. I use this app particularly to send my girlfriend workouts during the week. I give it a 4 because I would like more workout options to choose from but I’m not sure If it’s only because I am still in the 2 month free trail window and will get access to more by paying but over all it’s a good app that gives you a whole 2 months to try it for free which is a plus for me.

Good but could be great. This is actually a very good app for logging workouts and tracking progress by exercise. I have been lifting weights regularly since 2004 but have never really tracked my workouts or progress other than in my head. Its hard to describe but by using this I can visually see my progress which adds a new dimension of motivation to every lift to do better than the last time. Functionality of the app is excellent with the ability to add your own custom exercises not in the database being the best. The ability to add notes to all the exercises and edit the workouts during and after is a huge plus. Premium content is worth the $5 a month but could have a little more customization. Maybe choosing what you want to chart instead of just max weight. Would also be very good to be able to set goals on each exercise to see right next to the exercise name. Overall excellent app, highly recommend!!

What I’ve been looking for. For years I have been using another app, but the company that makes it no longer support it. But I’ve checked out a number of other apps, but none of them have a wide variety of exercises and let me put them together in a workout. Let alone, do a variation or put a exercise that isn’t in the app. With syncing and the watch app, this app just puts this at the top of its game. The only real negative I can find is, the syncing with the Apple Watch can take some time to do or is most of time unnecessary. Thou, this could be the Apple Watch itself, since I use a different watch to workout with, and I am turning it on at the Gym. The other negative I found with the app is there is no App integration for Strava. This would be wonderful to have, since Strava is one of the leading fitness tracking apps out there. But, outside those two little grips. I’ve used this app for years, and can’t really see myself without it.

This app rocks!. Best app for logging workouts I’ve ever used. Everything just makes sense. Super intuitive UI! Somehow manages to be extremely easy while super flexible at the same time. Very easy to make changes to templates on the fly or change up your workout with zero friction. Really important for me because when I’m in the zone I want to focus on my sets, not fumbling around a logging app. Prior to Strong I was manually taking notes because the apps I’ve used were too rigid or the UI sucked. Manually taking notes is OK, but annoying to have to go and find the previous weight you used or what you did last for an exercise. With Strong, there’s no flipping through notes or scrolling a notes app. All the info is exactly where you want it. I love that I can export my data as a CSV, too. Hats off to the devs cause this app is incredible. It took me one day of use before upgrading to pro and I have zero regrets.

Great Tracker. I use this app on my phone and my watch everyday and get a great deal out of using it. I won’t ding the star score, because it’s the best I’ve used, but if it falls short anywhere, it’s flexibility in viewing historic data as trends, PR’s etc, which is very limited and less helpful than I’d like. Don’t get me wrong, it’s 1000% better than a notebook and pen, but I would think there are better data analyses they could offer. I also wish there was one more choice when finishing a workout. It’s nice that they offer the option to leave the work out the way it is or update the work out, but I really wish you could add new exercises that you’ve added, but not delete ones you haven’t used for that one workout. Sometimes because of availability I have to substitute a workout exercise but I wanna come back to the old one next time and have the option to use the option whenever I need to.

Awesome App. I spent half of my winter break trying to build a similar app because I had always tracked my workouts on my Notes app, which became a mess. But then I found this app, which has a clean, easy to use interface and everything you need to track your lift progress in the gym. I love it. The only thing that stops me from giving it a perfect 5 star rating is that I wish they would implement a feature where you can enter the desired rep range when you’re building a workout, and then show your history for that specific rep range during the workout. Currently, if I do 4 x 8-12 on bench press, but the following time I bench 5 x 3, it’ll show me on the active workout that I did however much weight for 8-12 reps last time. Not a huge deal to go into history and find it myself, but it’d be cool for it to pull up the last time I did 5 sets of 3 and show me the weight I lifted that time on the active workout screen after telling it that that’s the number of reps I’m going to do for that workout. Again, otherwise amazing app, but would love it if y’all could add this feature. Thanks!

Great app— highly recommend. Heard a lot of good things about this app. Tried it out and does everything I want a workout tracker to do while being minimal. I do wish it had more exercises and their variations so I don’t have to manually create a new exercise. I also think it could be easier to add/remove/change entire exercises or move progress from one exercise to another if I had been mislabeling an exercise. I don’t think a social feature is necessary, which Hevy has, but would be nice… though don’t want it to be a social media app. The charts could have the years but I do like the charts (for paid version). Overall highly recommend this app as your main workout tracker! I’ve heard a lot that this app doesn’t update itself… it’s true and I do hope it releases updates more regularly. Sounds like apps like Hevy are always updating and adding mew features and addressing user concerns and requests. I don’t plan to switch right now… will see how version 6.0 is.

Great Workout Tracker. This is a great app for tracker your workout progress. It allows you to create and save workout plans. The free version gives you up to 3 custom workouts you can create but premium allows unlimited. It’s has an auto rest timer that comes in handy if you’re like me and depend on specific time for rest between sets. The only gripe I have is that when you set the rest timer for an exercise you have in one workout, if you use that same exercise in a different workout you creates it sets the rest time to the time you used in the last workout you used the exercise in which is a little bit of a pain if your workout plan has multiple days in it that use the same exercise for more than one day. You have to just keep adjusting the time back and for for the rest timer but other than that it’s the perfect app. I would get the lifetime purchase if the rest timer issue gets worked out.

Best workout tracker. I have never left a review for an app…. EVER So you know this app is good if I’m going out of my way to write about it. I am a competitive power lifter and no application has compared to this one. It’s incredibly helpful for keeping track of my progress and being able to look back and figure out how much weight to lift depending on how my previous numbers have looked. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an app that lets you record the RPE (rate of perceived exertion) either which allows you to calculate just how much you can lift. I have often added in my own workouts that are not in the database (such as paused reps). I honestly recommend this app to any of my friends and peers that workout whether they are new or seasoned gym goers. The fact that there are no ads and you can still get a whole lot of use out of the app without needing to upgrade to premium is definitely a plus.

Greedy app creators again!. This was a great app until yet again the greedy app makers decided that they want to charge monthly and yearly fees that are ridiculously high. In reality you can log your gym records in a five dollar notepad. The beauty of this app was that it made things convenient and simple. But like many creators these days they think it’s OK to screw their clients with upgrade features that actually should be standard. Shame on them. I just deleted the app that I’ve been using for a couple months and was happy to have given them a five star. There’s other apps that you can use that are far better and for right now are not charging. Who in their right mind would pay $199 for an iPhone app that simply logs their workouts and measurements?! Certainly not me and hope you won’t waste your money on this app made by greedy developers. If enough of us keep calling developers on this and deleting their expensive apps that take little continued develop perhaps the creators will get the idea and stop being so greedy with high ticket prices. Save your money on this one friends!

FOR THOSE THAT LIKE TO TRAIN IN A REAL GYM OR FITNESS CENTER-Easiest and Customizable. I’ve tried them all and wanted to integrate with my Apple Watch....for bodybuilders, Athletes and Fitness Enthusiasts this application does everything you need including drop sets, rest time with alarm, Failure, add sets weight amount and your reps easy! I would like to see them add all types of training techniques such as “Forced Reps”, “Eccentric Reps” etc...for now I use the NOTES feature right under the Title for Type of Exercise. Another recommendation would be to have the ability to add the amount of weight you used and the number of reps for your drop set. Again for now you could use the NOTES feature but it gets confusing especially if you are doing more than 1 drop set or super set for that matter. Anyway these guys are on the right track and nothing interrupts you line ads while training. I do like the app for the most part and with some additions it will be perfect

Love the app, have a few suggestions/requests. I absolutely love using this app and and I use it almost everyday. One thing I would love for the developers to add to the app, especially for people who have paid for the full featured version of the app, is to improve the notes features. I love having notes that you can pin for an exercise or have a note written for one specific exercise during one workout. A fantastic addition to the note feature would be to have a third method of note taking for routines. So essentially you could have a one time note for an exercise bout (i.e. tried doing pause reps for pushups), the pinned notes (i.e. make sure to lock out on bench press), but also having a third one that is a note for a specific exercise that is only visible within a saved routine (i.e. for tricep extensions: set 1; pronate hands, set 2; supinated hands; set 3; hands neutral). With this added feature, you wouldn’t have to pin a note and be confused if doing the same exercise but for a different effect outside of the routine and have to remove the pinned note.

Good app. I have liked the continues improvements to the app and the most recent changes allowing you to select and view a workout without having to start the workout is nice. I do wish that pinned notes for exercises only applies within the workout that exercise is in so that if you use the same exercise in another workout routine and want different notes for that same exercise but in a different routine you can as opposed to the same notes showing up for that exercise in all routines. Especially since the other notes option only shows notes made during that workout session. I would like an option for notes for a specific exercise within a workout that remain just in that workout where I can make different notes on the same exercise in a different workout that won’t show up on that exercise in another workout. Other than that detail, I really like the app.

Best fitness app!. I never review apps, but as I just hit workout #300 tracked on Strong, I thought it was time. I’ve been using the free version for about a year and a half, and for me, it’s perfect. The only downside to using the free version is a limit to the workout templates you can save, but I usually start from scratch each time I track so that doesn’t bother me. I have found when I do make templates, I still change things around based on what’s available at my gym, anyway. My biggest pro for this app is that there are no ads/nonsense/pop ups trying to get you to upgrade to the paid version or promoting anything else. Nothing annoys me more than apps begging for your money. This app is clean, utilitarian, and really well-designed for you to get in, set up your workout, and track your reps/sets as you go. If an exercise you want isn’t in the library, you can add your own. It saves all your progress history, even on the free version, so you can look back and see how you have progressed on different exercises. I recommend this app to all my friends.

Best Training App. Honestly I’ve always used a physical journal, and every time I’ve tried to transition to a digital one I always end up switching back. This is the first one that I’ve been able to stick to, and I absolutely love it. However, there are a couple things that I WISH this app had. I wish that I could add friends and share workouts/routines with them. It would make it so much easier to get my friends to use this app with me if we could somewhat “compete” with each other like how the Apple Watch fitness app works. Also, I wish I was able to upload before/after photos. Maybe incorporate everything into a calendar view where each day has colored dots (where say blue is that I worked out that day, red is a new measurement that day, and maybe green is a new progress picture that day). This app is absolutely awesome, but definitely some things could be improved! Some things that just came to mind: to add space for a social page, you can consolidate the Exercises tab to be a button within the Workout tab (I don’t look @ exercises on a regular basis). The same thing can be said about Measurements and the Profile tab. Measurements obviously embody information about me, so the Measurements tab can be included within the Profile tab. Anyways, I didn’t mean to write such a big review, as I actually love this app. Just some things that I would LOVE to see in the future.

Constant improvements make this my go to workout app. Have been using Strong for a couple years, and at first the UI was more cumbersome to use than a simple pad and pencil. However after submitting feedback to developers and checking the interface updates, it’s clear they take user feedback seriously. They’ve taken every gripe I had seriously and the new UI flow is effortless whether you’re building workouts on the fly or trying to program templates ahead of time. The workout history at a glance also shows me a tabulated list of workouts at what weights sets and reps to make sure I change it up in the current workout. A lot of great features are built in, but none that I use much of. For me, effortless and intuitive UI flow is everything. For once I can say I no longer need to bring the journal and pencil to the gym 👌🏼

Easily the best workout tracker. Update: I just recorded my 1,146th workout in Strong. I can’t remember how much I paid for it anymore, but at this point it might be the hardest working couple of dollars that I ever spent. —— Flexibility meets framework so you can easily track almost any kind of workout without having to overthink things or work through an overly complex user experience. I’ve logged almost 400 (update: 600) workouts with it, and I’ve never had a problem with crashing or data loss. Also, the developers have been incredibly responsive to suggestions and squashing the very occasional bug. I can’t remember what I paid for it anymore, but quality apps like this are worth every penny. The only thing I wish they’d tighten up is supersets. They take up a lot of space and I wish they’d function just a bit differently.

This app will change the way you work out. I have used this app for about 6 months, and used the PRO for about 4 months. This app is fantastic, if you go to the gym 3+ times/week then the cost is more than worth it. The app just added RPE options for sets, you can use the exercise database or make your own, and it tracks overall weight lifted (which I’ve found is motivational—at the least interesting). The app promotes progressive overload, which is super important and helpful to track. Only issue I’ve ever had with the app is that I frequently forget to end workouts. They will run in the background and the time for my workouts will be 24hrs or until I open the app again the next time I go into the gym, which messes with my statistics. However, this is a user error and in no way an issue with the app. Love this app, if you frequent the gym, I’m sure you will too.

Best workout tracker on the App Store. This is the only workout teacher tracker that truly has everything you’d need to track progress at the gym. Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been at it a while, this app can help. Tracking sets, reps and weight is easy, there are many options for types of set such as reps only, duration, and many more. There are so many built in exercises with video demonstrations so it is easy to correct your form or see what muscles you’re working on any given exercise. There are areas for notes for any exercise, and areas to build templates for each of the days in your cycle. The best part about this app is that it’s free, and never gives any ads, nor does it demand you sign up for its premium membership but it is very well worth it if you do.

Great for logging gym workouts. I recently purchased an Apple Watch to help track my overall fitness goals. After playing around with several nutrition and workout apps, I settled on this one for logging my gym routine. I already have a detailed workout plan but constantly stopping to write down my sets, reps and weight was becoming burdensome. This app has made it so much easier to log everything and the rest timer helps me to not waste time or take too long breaks. My biggest complaint is that I can only create three routines without upgrading. I wish there were a way to pay a flat fee for a few more services as I don’t have a need or desire for all the extras that come with a subscription. My other complaint is the lack of tracking of calories burned. Other apps I have looked at gave me an estimate on how many calories I was burning based on the weight, sets and reps. This app seems to use my heart rate which is not, in my opinion, accurate at all. It makes it harder to get a clear picture of what I have actually used versus my consumption. Sorry for the long review but those are my biggest grievances. Other than that I love the ease of use and how I can go back and for the between my phone and watch as it syncs together.

Easily the best workout app. I’ve been using this app for years now and I thought it was about time to leave a review. It was super intuitive to use and I learned how to navigate the app after logging just one workout. The tiny number of templates you can save with the free plan is a bit of a dirty trick, but the premium subscription is so cheap and the app is so good I can’t complain too much. Gotta pay the bills somehow. The one recommendation I have for this app is to allow for better tracking of advanced techniques such as going beyond failure or even the amount of rest in between. It would be nice to not have to pin a paragraph to the notes section about negatives done at the end of the set, myo reps, pause reps, cheat reps, partials, etc. Additionally, the exercise database could be expanded a ton, but the app allows for custom exercises to be added so that’s not as big of a complaint. All in all, fantastic app!

Great attention to detail - missing a few key metrics. The app is fantastic, opinionated in its execution but flexible enough to allow anyone to structure their own routines. Marking workout sets, RPE, custom exercises, double volume for dumbbells etc. just great. The one set of features that would be a huge addition would be further analytics. Exercises are already labelled as leg, chest, etc but nowhere in the app can you inspect % split across these areas I.e past month has been 50% legs based on volume. Similar metrics such as total volume per workout (regardless of routine) is not presented either. The data is there, it just isn’t presented in these formats...yet :)

Super easy to use. Love using this to track my progress. The notes are very useful, I use them to remind myself not to overdo the weight and instead do more reps to prevent injuring myself again 😮‍💨 What would be cool is the ability to see a diagram of all the muscles your ‘workout’ targeted. That would really help me design a workout to ensure I’m not missing any. Or even suggestions that ‘you aren’t working out this area’ and suggested exercises based on that. Honestly I’d probably pay for pro if it had that.

Epic!. Such a great versatile format the developers have created with this app! Easy to use and intuitive… Everything is where it should be, and the ability to go into history and even share that with others… Is great! Can’t recommend this enough!

Better than expected. I have tried a few fitness apps to record programs and training progress. Most require $$$ memberships or lack flexibility but Strong really surprised me. It syncs to my Apple Watch easily, updates my progress, tracks my workouts and all without paying a cent! I am sure it would do more with the subscription and I wish my trainers would get on board, their app doesn’t work nearly as well! Nice work ladies and gents!

Progress tracking. It is really easy to track weight progress. However, it is really difficult to actually see the progress without manually selecting each individual exercise as a widget. This could be improved by showing the progress of the selected workout template and not a singular exercise.

My go-to strength training tracker - Now on Apple Watch!. Clean, uncluttered, intuitive, and with great timers, charting, and export options. Strong is simply the best workout tracker on the App Store. Now it's on the Apple Watch I couldn't ask for anything more. Strong also passes data back to the Health App, so if you're tracking your meals with something like MyFitnessPal, tracking your workout with the Strong on the Apple Watch app will add your burned kilojoules to your daily allowances. Brilliant when you're cutting for summer.

Watch app needs some work. The application is, overall, good; however, the value for me is Apple Watch integration, and Strong falls short. I find the Watch app frequently “resets” and requires syncing with the phone, and this has (literally) taken hours. While testing it in Test Flight, it would break regularly so I went back to the production version. I still had to sync it on a daily basis. With the latest version, it no longer works AT ALL. This severely lessens the value as a pro subscriber. This bug needs to get fixed ASAP.

Best app I have ever downloaded. This is such a fantastic app. It is exactly what you need to track strength progress. It’s extremely simple to use and all of the advanced features are tucked away in easily accessible parts of the app when you’re ready to experiment with them. The design and UX have been so well thought out. You won’t be able to find any other free app like this one. The free part of the app has everything I could ever want which is also amazing and I feel like most free versions of apps can be so limiting, but this one does not disappoint. I have never had issues with bugs or crashes, EVER! This is truely my favourite app on my phone now. Thank you

Great App! Ideas for features to add. Great app. Best Workout tracker I have used so far. Wish there was a way to reorder your workout sets. Or Shuffle them. I have a set workout list and would love to push a Shuffle and it would change up the order to work different body parts and different points of the workout

Was great 😕 until the latest update. We have subscribed to this app for over a year and was working fine but something has gone wrong with the latest update. Won’t work on my wife’s Apple Watch 4 and my 3? STRONG you need to sort this out or we will be cancelling our subscription.

Best Workout App. Period.. I recommend this app to everyone at the gym. Strong makes it so easy to track your progress. I love the ability to pin charts to my home page and being able to track different variables of my training, such as increase in volume and when I break my PRs. Strong also has the best customer support team. Quick replies to emails and keen to help. I can’t rate this app enough!

Highly recommend. After a bumpy start where I invested in the app then was told I would have to subscribe and pay more for it each year the developers came good with their word and honored those who paid the initial price for unlimited lifetime upgrades. That was well over 5 years ago and I recommend this app to all my clients now. It is the most comprehensive tracker I have used and easy to set up and navigate even for those who are tech savvy. When people ask me what supplements they should take, I tell them to download this app, they will get better results.

Fantastic app, hoping for more exercises!. Very happy with this app, including the ability to sign up for PRO with a once of purchase. To many companies are forcing the subscription model these days, not a comfortable option for students and young families! I can see the continued support in the update progress. Am hoping when I upgrade that I will get access to a larger exercise library, but am happy enough to be able to create my own notes. Does the ‘Strong’ team continue to update the exercise list with one or two new ones every month?

Unbelievable!!. Literally the best app out there for training, tracking progress and saving your workouts! It even has new suggestion for exercises I have never done before! No more manual little pocket book which I lost and had to be forced to go digital, glad I found “Strong”! Why didn’t I do this like years and years ago was the question I kept asking myself!!

Great app, needs updates. I have been using this for nearly 12 months, I use it every gym shesh to track my total tonnage and record my workouts. One thing I would suggest that there is to be more updates with exercises as there a lot of types of exercises that I noticed are missing. Also, to have a more friendly search - for example: Bench press (dumbbell) is quite a specific name search; if only I can sech “dumbbell press” and it would come up with the exercise, so sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find what I am looking for.

Useful but lacks choice. A far better option to tracking strength training than my old Garmin. Gives you good charts and keeps track of all things such as the type of bar you use (olympic, trap, etc.). The only major downside to this is the exercise database is so small. It’s not that much of a hassle to add it in yourself but it doesn’t quite track as well as the pre-programmed ones. Otherwise, this is definitely worth the annual fee!

Simplicity is it's strength. It just has everything you will ever need. Like: the end of rest alarm is loud so you can hear it above music Dislike: a tough one! If I was going to be split hairs I would say the checkboxes for completing a set could be bigger. I use fingered gloves when doing weights as I have a hand injury from football and when I pull a glove off to hit the checkbox I'm juggling a phone and glove so miss the checkbox sometimes.

Brilliant😃. Such a simple to use app, first app I’ve come across in a longtime that feels like it was made for me. The only thing I would add would be when you do things for time that that you can auto start the time you wish to do, but definitely not a deal breaker.

Best of the workout apps. I wish I could have written back to that long rant you got. That guys cooked. This app has all you need for creating and maintaining your workout. 100% give it a go. 💪 My only request would be to make the "X" button on the number pad smaller. I seem to hit that a lot while trying to tap "0"

Best tracking app. Being new to the gym and now having been there for over 12 months, Strong is the best no frills app I have found among the main apps. Being able to easily create template workouts, find new workouts with a simple guide on how to perform the movement, as well as each exercise clearly showing me the weight and rep range used previously makes it super easy to make sure I am performing my workouts correctly.

Very good overall. I like everything about this app except when you make a workout I can’t find an option to change the order of exercises. This may be due to it not being clear how to do it or maybe there is not that function but it is kinda annoying. More charts would be cool too. I bought the Pro version for life regardless.

The best training app out there. I've tried them ALL! This is the app I've been waiting for so long I almost wanted to try to make it myself and if I did this is exactly how I'd make it plus they've done a better job. Can't rate this highly enough for those serious trainers that know how to lift and want to track in a simple elegant way. It also offers great analysis which I've not got enough data to explore but that looks awesome. Love the way they let you try it and then buy - perfectly done. Thanks Devs!!

Best workout tracker by far!. This fits my mental model of how training should be tracked perfectly. The auto rest timer is spot on and it helps me flow through training. Great to see they’re constantly working on Apple Watch integration too. Hopefully it’ll get to the point where I don’t have to touch my phone in the gym.

Only one way to use it. This is a good app with an excellent variety of exercises in the library. It would be ideal if exercise could also be logged after-the-fact, rather than only being able to log exercises in real-time. This would especially useful when someone is working with a trainer and not setting their own workout plan/don’t have time to also be on the phone during the work out.

Works well, but drains battery like crazy.. Thanks for this app- it's really helping focus my workouts. Three issues I have are: 1. The app really drains the battery. A 2-hour workout uses well over 80% of the battery. I'm pretty sure I could watch a 2-hour movie and use less battery! I have to plug my phone into an external Battery to make it through a workout. 2. The pop-up keyboard often obscures the text fields I need to type in, so it would be great if the current rep line moved to the top of the screen as the cursor entered that field. 3. When I use the "-" (minus) button to reduce the timer during a rest between reps, the chime that sounds when the rest period is over sometimes doesn't sound until the original rest duration has passed (even though I may have reduced the timer by 30 seconds, for example), so the chime doesn't always match the visuals. Thanks again.

Great but could be best. Naturally Strong has to be one of the best apps on the market and there are so many well thought out features. In order to make it the best app on the market I’d love to see the rest timer support the dynamic island and for workouts/ timers to be synced with the watch app widget when using my phone to work out.

Excellent. I rarely leave reviews, but I’ll make an exception here. Strong is, in my opinion, the best training app on the market. I’ve tried about 6 or 7 others over the last 5 years, but they either don’t let you add your own exercises/workouts, or don’t offer syncing between devices. Strong also allows you to create unlimited folders for workouts, which I love as you can better organise your routine. 10/10

Love it. Great snazzy workout app! Keeps you on your goals and is quite flexible in mixing your exercises up. I do however would like some easy ways to add exercises while on the Apple Watch without going through all of them alphabetically. Also since Watch OS6 , it has not been able to start the app on my watch. Can we get a fix please!

Review. Very useful as a beginner :) A friend recommended this app to me simply to keep track of workouts and to make incremental progress. It shows you which exercises work out which muscles and is free! There are some exercises and machines missing but I’m sure they are in the paid version.

Where’d my review go?. Weird that I wrote a review earlier but it disappeared. Why is my workout come up like a temporary window? As if I’m changing settings or something. I have some exercises that I accidentally made with weights but they are just body weight exercises. I cannot change that fact unless I create a NEW exercise. This is stupid. I dont want to create a new exercise because of my history of that exercise. Also another thing I noticed, on those exercises with weights, but when I don’t put in weights but I put in the reps and click next, it doesn’t turn green and start my timer without me going back and put 0 as my weight. I prefer the old layout. It was much cleaner. Now I’m using a child’s toy. Might as well take out my crayons and colouring book and colour by number while in the gym. Imagine you just repped a huge 350lbs Squats. Then you take out this child’s toy to input your workout. Really....? I told my friend to get this app, then they said they couldn’t use it because it only has 10 workouts a month. I do that many before breakfast. Then to subscribe is $7 a month. Seriously?! When I bought it, it was a one time purchase. Everyone is using monthly payments, try standing out by doing something different. I’ll give you this advice for free.

Look no further!. I don't remember how I found Strong, but after trying countless apps, and spreadsheets on my phone I found the perfect companion app for the gym. The developers are also active and very responsive to suggestions and feedback. If you're serious about losing weight, building strength and hitting personal goals in the gym this is the app for you.

Exceptional analytics for data-driven athletes. Functional and easy to use app while at the gym that makes tracking personal records engaging, whilst providing information about correct form and technique for exercises. The app needs a social component to create further user engagement and heighten the experience. A simple Nike Run Club “cheer on” element while a friend is exercising is always very satisfying and I can see something similar applying well here. Almost perfect. Fast-track development on social aspect Strong team!

Easy to use, would recommend to any beginner!. As someone who has only just started taking the gym seriously this is an awesome app for anyone to use. Great to keep track of your workout and there is nothing better than finishing your workout and seeing that you have set a new personal best for yourself. Highly recommend.

Solid app. Great app functions generally well but has some issues syncing/tracking workouts from iPhone to Apple Watch simultaneously. Also would really like the added ability to add workouts to a favourite list instead having to scroll all the way down the list to add it (very time consuming on Apple Watch)

Let’s remove the gender bias. Love the extensive list of exercises, detailed instructions and ability to put together your own work outs. However, I’m really disappointed in the gender bias in the illustrations. All weight-based exercises are depicted with a male character and all resistance-based with a female. Using a more diverse set of illustrations would be a step towards improving women’s engagement in the sport and help remove some of the limiting expectations that both men and women may have when it comes to gym-time. Would love to see this change in the app Strong Team!

Best workout app available. I’ve been using strong now for about 3 months, it’s honestly the best app I’ve ever used, it makes tracking sets and workouts so easy, and lays it all out for you. The only thing that I would want to see in future updates is the ability for you to add an image to a new workout if it is not yet loaded into the app. Other than that it’s been great.

Brilliant App. This is the first time I’ve ever been compelled to write a review for an app, but Strong is amazing and deserves to be better known. The controls and features are so intuitive, the design is clean and straightforward to use, pretty much everything I was looking for. If you’re new to working out; this is the best solution out there to demystifying a lifting program. Seriously devs, 10/10, can’t thank you enough.

Best workout app, hands down. I’ve used plenty of other apps but Strong is the one I’ve consistently used time and time again. Always recommend it to people I’ve helped train and guide along fitness journeys. Simple enough for beginners to pick up and use. But enough features and data collection for the more advanced/power users (I haven’t even gone into the pro version yet). The recent addition of easy access to RPE was a feature I didn’t realise I wanted, but have grown to love. Props to the developers!

Hands down, best fitness app.. I’ve been training for the better part of 10 years. Used all methods, from pen and paper, to the majority of the fitness apps that are on the AppStore. Strong does it all, and more. Lightweight, Apple Watch compatibility and the ability to track and monitor anything that might interest you. Look no further, the only app required for your time in the gym.

Only good for weights and lacking edits. I was hoping this would incorporate stretches as well as I am in recovery. It doesn’t but it allows you to create your own exercises so I do that. I can’t add images to exercises even when the built in exercises have images. The most disappointing feature for me is the time keeping. I don’t use my phone all the way through a workout. I’m training. I input my exercises at the end. That means the time to complete workout is always wrong. And I can’t edit the time. There are better apps but this connects to apple health and that is why I use it.

Instructional video doesn’t match the instructions (writing). For example, the front squat exercise shows a different placement of where your hands should go than the written instructions. This is inconvenient because then I have to go to safari and look up how to hold the barbell EVEN THOUGH i am PAYING for the app. Please correct this so that other newbies don’t have to be inconvenienced. Thanks, you guys still get 4 stars.

Great app to track your workouts. I’ve tried 10+ apps, and this one is the most convenient to record your workouts and track progress. One request, though: please add more exercises. The app provides a lot of common ones, but people do craziest things, you know. Just look at all the other competitors and copy. ;-)

Perfect workout tracking app. I use the free version of Strong regularly to track gym workouts, and I love it. It’s intuitive to use, and has a beautiful design and has plenty of useful features — plus, it’s free of ads and general bloat. If you want to log your exercise so you can track your progress over time, I can’t recommend it enough. (I’ve used Strong for about 3 weeks — if my experience changes, I’ll try to update this accordingly)

Best workout app. I’ve tried many workout apps for keeping track of my workouts and progressive overload, this app make it so much easier now I don’t need to remember what weight I was pressing or squatting the app does it all for you. Complete with warm up Sets and failed sets even Delia’s set too you can even add your own workouts like reverse hypers or Donkey Calf Raises etc. all in all a top, sleek, streamlined, easy to use app, I will use this forever.... CHEERS!!

Keep it simple. This app is so easy to use. It has a heap of preset exercises that you can choose from or you can add your own. Keeping track of workouts, including time and weight and most of all progress has never been easier. Love it!

Worth every cent. Whilst there are almost always room for improvements/personal modifications you yourself would want, this app is absolutely incredible at what it does. If you’re looking for an app where you can customise your own work outs and have all the added features of guides, timers, etc, this is the app for you. A 4/5 didn’t quite seem fair, a perfect score of 5/5 isn’t quite honest either, so a 4.5 star rating for me.

Fantastic. Really good app, I’m still learning how to use it more effectively, but even just as a base product, it’s almost everything you need. It’s probably beneficial that it’s not social, however I would like to connect with a couple of mates in different cities/countries (like Strava). I’d like it if you could connect with contacts, share workout blocks and previous sessions

Highly recommend. Only got it a few minutes ago and had a quick look. Love the app already, great variety of exercises to chose from as well as custom workouts and an option to make a custom one. Gives help to show you proper form as well as telling you what muscles it works.

Fantastic App with excellent support!. I haven’t been using this app for too long but it’s probably the best fitness/health app I’ve come across. As someone who doesn’t know fitness too well and struggles to do strength training in the gym, this app keeps me focused and on track with my workout and the reps/sets I need to do. They have a few workouts already in the app otherwise I go online, find a workout that suits my goals, and enter the exercises into my own custom workout on the app. The support are also super friendly and provide clear communication with any problems I had in a timely matter. Will definitely be recommending this app to everyone I know!

Good app. Watch version could use a few tweaks. It’s great that I can choose a set type on the watch (work set, warm up, etc) but once I choose it’s almost impossible to tap outside that selector so I can scroll and do other things. The rest timer on the watch is good, but I can’t do anything else while it’s running and am forced to skip it if I want to view the other exercises. I should be able to view the workout overview and exercises while the rest timer is running. You need a way to show it on the workout overview.

Four years and Strong hasn’t let me down. This is the first app I have ever reviewed because it is that good… and I just had a great customer service experience. I have been using Strong in the gym off and on for over four years. I am not a trainer or an athlete just an everyday person who exercises. I find Strong very motivating. In this day of tech it’s an easy way to track workouts and see progress. I’ve had very few problems with Strong, in fact I can’t think of one, it’s good value and worth what I pay for it. There are some features that I would like to see in future versions. The ability to edit the exercise name or category of personally added exercises, sometimes the variation of an exercise changes (e.g. reps only might change to dumbbells or body weight might become assisted or weighted). The ability to add an exercise to an existing superset would also be useful. The rest timer is great but an option for a duration timer would be great! Keep up the great work(outs).

Timers doesn’t sync. When I decrease timer on my phone the timer on my watch remains the same it doesn’t receive updated value from my phone

Please give me a refund. This app is really good i give 5 stars and i always use it but i forgot one day after i was supposed to cancel my free trial and i’m begging can i please get a refund?

Good app but insane extortionate pricing. I’ve used strong for like a year and it has been great but they look a lot of the more advanced features behind a ridiculous subscription ($40/yr & $140 lifetime?????) You also cannot have more than 3 workout templates saved without this subscription

Great app for working out. I use this app to track my lifting progress in the gym. Whereas in the past I would rely on memory, now I can see how much progress I’m making week to week and how much weight I should be using to maintain that progression. The rest timer is also useful.

Rest timer bells too loud. Great app, but the rest timer bell is always louder than my music and hurts my ears. Would be nice to have a volume control on it.

Great app. Love this app for tracking my progress!

Workout log app for 139?. I would like to see the logic behind this ridiculous subscription price tag. The app is good but it’s not worth that much maybe 5 dollars tops for permanent purchase

Subscription. I would not recommend it automatically renewed the subscription without any notification. Waste of $40

Great App. How do you guys feel about putting in a decimal option in the rep counter? It’d be nice to know if that last rep was a fail or a partial rep when referencing your previous workout. It’s a good app. Been subscribing for a few years now.

Fantastic. Simple, intuitive, clean, Thorough. It just makes sense, from top to bottom. Get it.

The best workout tracker. No competition. I used to use another app for about 3 years before I moved to strong and can’t believe how stupid I was for not using this. It does everything I want and more. So much attention to detail. Made by people with extensive knowledge on customer needs.

The Goldilocks of Strength Training Apps. I’m the typical “I’ve tried so many apps before this one and this is the best”. It’s true though! I gave up on Apps to track workouts because they were all too cumbersome to use during my workout. I don’t want a distraction. Strong is simple to use, yet still provides all the data you could want or need. On top of the App itself. Their support team is amazing. My experience had me skip the subscription and purchase the Strong Forever. I’ll be using the App for years to come so buying the Forever version now just makes sense - I’d suggest you consider the same.

Bought this app early on. And so glad that I did. It is the perfect workout companion. Love the developers for honouring the purchase of early adopters/supporters as well. It’s probably the main reason keeping me from switching from an iPhone to something else.

Great, but has some bug. Love the app overall, especially the fact that I don't need to have my phone with me in a gym anymore and can keep track of everything from my Apple watch. However, repeatedly facing 2 annoying bugs. First is that every time my Apple watch syncs up I always see duplicate workout in a history for that day. Second bug I encountered is that one of my workouts suddenly appears to have another circle of same exercises for some reason. For example if I have workout with 1. Squats 2. Leg press, in history it also adds 3. Squats 4. Leg press and populates it with values from 1 & 2. How do I fix this?

Great for tracking. Very helpful and easy to use

So overpriced. At first I thought this app was cool because I could put my workout schedules in it and track it but then I saw the price and wow, I can’t believe a little app like this could be priced so crazy, if your target audience is people who workout then why so expensive we already have to pay for a gym membership, supplements and extra for food you think we have that much to spare for a tracker that was originally $10. So disappointing.

Excellent Tracker. This app has definitely made workout teaching so much easier! Great alternative to all the spreadsheets I used earlier. Also, love the timer feature.

How is this a subscription service?. This is a great app, but I can’t even begin to understand why the developer thinks it appropriate to require users to pay a monthly subscription for it. All I want is the capability to log my workouts. I would pay for that, as a one-time payment, but forcing users to get a subscription is an insulting money-grab in my view. A pity.

Good before IOS 17. Since the update, the app is freezing when I try to view a chart for an exercise. Sometimes the rest timer is fullscreen sometimes not. This app used to be great and reliable but I’m now worried I might need to look for an alternative, especially for that price…

Almost Perfect. 5* app regardless, but the ability to add images or links to videos (iCloud ?) would be awesome. The app is elegant and uncluttered and a must for saving and organizing all those plans you bought but never used. Get it. Do it.

Help me stay accountable in the gym. I love this app, however I wish there was a website version to plan out my workouts a little easier. Also an option to make 2 workouts a superset while they’re already in the workout plan.

Calorie Counter. Your app is AMAZiNG but pls improve the colorín counting feature connected to Apple health it’s broken and inaccurate there’s no way I only burned 40 calories in a 1 hour workout (18 sets and 1 mile of running)

Excellent app. This is the most comprehensive fitness app I’ve used & STRONGly recommend it to anyone who is serious about tracking progress. Clearly it was made by Forbes fanatics - it’s very well designed. My favourite features: 1. Building a workout for tracking takes very little time - you can choose from an extensive library, add your own items, or pick from a plan. 2.Tracking workouts is easy. I inputted my program & use the app to track each day. The previous values are carried through & updates, and PRs are automatically tracked & highlighted at the completion of a workout, along with total volume of weight lifted. The ‘additional note’ feature, rest timer, warm up & drop set labels make it very simple to capture anything you might want. You can also update your workout on the fly, and at the end of your session you are promoted to choose whether you want to update your workout with changes. 3. This app allows you track body fat, body measurements, body fat, calories and more. This makes graphing progress on the data points important to you very easy. Truly a great app - worth every penny of the subscription price!

High Recommend. I think this app is the perfect workout app for all lifters. It’s simple, but efficient. The app is not perfect in anyway, but it has a lot of potential. I highly recommend that you download this app if you’re looking to stay on track and organized during your lift. Some quality of life I would like to see added to the app is for notes to carry over when you send a workout to a friend. I think a friends feature would be very beneficial as well. It would make sending workouts to other gym bros a lot more convenient!

Attachements and drop sets. This app is really amazing for tracking your gym sessions but something that would be really helpful would be to add the attachements like the v-bar, the rope, etc. Also for drop sets it would be nice to be able to write the weight or weights that we drop set to for example, I do 100lbs, I drop set it and do 80 lbs I want to write the numbers of reps I did with 80lbs. That would make this app a 5 star for me.

Great app, have used it for years!. Feature request: I would ❤️ a total weekly volume widget. Thanks for a great app!

F*** you. Didn’t give me any of the PRO benefits and showed that I wasn’t paying for it but continued charging me for the PRO subscription without my knowledge. F*** you

Everything Everyone Needs. Every fitness app restricts some kind of essential feature that should be free. Strong is what you need, for free. Sure, there are features that need to be paid for but they aren't ESSENTIAL to your workout progress. I simply use the app to create exercises and use them, no tracking of my nutrients and all that jazz. And this app does it the best. I've been here since pretty much day 1 and this app is amazing. I would just like to thank and congratulate the developers of this app for such an amazing job and not MAKING people pay for a service that will help people become their best selves. Thank you and fantastic job!

Apple Watch App Broken. Since the last update for iOS 13 optimization, it seems like the Apple Watch companion app is broken (crashes upon launch of a workout routine). Tried resetting, still no luck. I love this app otherwise, so please fix the companion Apple Watch app!

Crashes on Apple Watch. Works well with the iPhone but app opens for a couple seconds and then immediately crashes on the Apple Watch.

Mostly good. Really good for tracking lifts but it sucks if you have machines that are in Kg and Lbs because if you switch the weight measurement for one exercise it changes all of your previous workouts to that… for example I did face pulls at 42.5kg my last lift then today I went to do face pulls on a machine with lbs and I changed it to 92.5lbs and then looked at my history to see what my previous weight was in my last workout and it said I did 92.5kg face pulls when I definitely didn’t do that. This needs to be fixed because for those of us serious about tracking our progress this is a huge problem in the app and it makes my review go from a 5 star to a 2 star.

Great app. Simple is good create your own workout plans and great tracking

Greedy. Your an app. Never in a million years would I pay you guys monthly or outright for 135$. Your app is very nice but I deleted it because I enjoy another app just as much for 5 dollars. You guys are going to loose out on customers with your greedy costs.

Good app, exorbitant price. Look, I'm all for monetising your app and picking a sustainable pricing model, But $280 for a full unlock (it used to be $10, remember) is beyond excessive. Sure, you could also pay $40/yr but I can buy a lot of pens and paper for that much, and spreadsheet software is a lot cheaper than this.

BEST WORKOUT APP. Best workout app, but can you please add a feature to share your workout results with friends (to flex on them).

waste. don’t even bother. they only let you store 3 free templates before they charge you A SUBSCRIPTION fee to have more. You’re better off using your notes app or pen and paper like before.

Amazing. Best app for tracking iv used and iv used a lot

Too exspensive. If anything you should be charging money to give workout plans. I’m just trying to log in my workout and I need to upgrade in order to track my stats? Not the best.

LOVE this app. Functional, easy to use and has everything you need. This is the best app for keeping track of your workouts in the simplest, cleanest way. It has everything I need including templates and rest timers. Also shows your previous achievements. Love it! My only suggestion would be to add the functionality that when you press the checkmark that your set is finished, the rest timer automatically starts then rather than having to manually choose and start it each time. I hope they add this! Then it would be 100% perfect. Thanks for the great app!

Super set timer. I really enjoy using this app. Bring a trainer myself it is very user friendly great at the what I think every trainer needs. I would recommend that you update the rest timer for superset. It would be great for us to have the option to have the timer start after the last exercise rather that after each individual exercise

Hands down the best workout tracker. I bought this app back before it became a subscription, and I just want to thank the developer for honouring my (and everyone else’s) purchases. This app was great when I bought it, and it has only gotten better over the years. The dev listens to the users, and frequently updates! No matter what you’re looking for in a workout tracker, this will deliver. Large library of workouts (and it seems to be getting larger) with examples, so beginners will be well served. If you’re seasoned in the gym, you can mine graphs and data points of best sets, reps etc over time to see how your progress is going. The app also works with home kit, and Apple Watch. Has a built in customizable test timer which automatically starts when you log a set. I honestly can’t even list everything here, but trust me and the other reviews when I tell you, this is the most comprehensive workout app on the App Store. Easiest five star I’ve ever given!

$140 for full version, are you kidding me??. If this app was $5-$10 I would have considered buying it but this app has gone the way of subscription which doesn't make any sense for this kind of app. If you want to just but it its $140. These options are just greedy, I’d rather use ios notepad to keep track of my workout!

My favourite workout app. This app gives an easy and quick way to create and record workouts with either standard and/or custom exercises. And I love how it works with both my iPhone and Apple Watch. So many other cool features too!

Same bugs forever. I’ve had this app for a while now, logging over 600 workouts. Frankly I can’t stand paying money for an app that has had the same bugs for so long. I had to delete the app and redownload it because it kept crashing. Apple Watch sync is atrocious too.

Yee. Goat app

Duplicated workouts in apple or nothing. It’s been a week and this app just cannot sync with Apple health. On top of that. When you ask strong to sync the workouts they duplicate EVERYTHING. It’s embarrassing to call this an app. Synchronize should be a basic feature. Maybe strong is saving money from having to do development. But I cannot see to pay off premium for this app if basics cannot be figured out

So much greed for so little app. BE WARNED: this app used to cost around $10 lifetime, but then the devs added a couple features and slapped the ridiculous price tag of $139 on it. AND made it a subscription app for $40/y! WHY does a LOG APP need a subscription!? Shameful display of greed! Forget this, here are some apps with the same basic functionalities for a fraction of the price and NO SUBSCRIPTION: HeavySet, Strongly and GymBook.

Decent workout app but too expensive. This app is pretty solid and I’ve used it for a few years. When I find an app useful, I love buying it to support the creators, however the pricing model for this app is far too expensive for what I need it to do. It basically operates on a subscription at a price comparable to a Netflix subscription, which is something that bothers me about modern app pricing. Thankfully, the developers also included a single payment option, but I was shocked to see it costs a whopping $140. That is almost as expensive as buying Windows 11 home which is a full featured operating system. For comparison, most apps with the single payment option are around 10-20 bucks, including apps packed with impressive features like GoodNotes. Ultimately, this prompted me to switch to other workout apps that meet my requirements for a more affordable price.

Nice App that keeps me on track in the gym. The app is easy to use. I have downloaded several other apps for the gym, but this is the one that I have kept. I have no complaints about the app! I do have one preference that I would like to see: The ability to fast record your set from the sleep screen on the iPhone. Meaning sets 1 thru whatever, lead up to a final set that I push myself to see if I can gain 1-2 more reps or higher weight from the previous day I attempted the same exercise. Maybe place a next link to the rest timer pop up on the sleep screen, that would automatically check the current set completed, show your next set weight or show your next exercise and set weight. I think this would help with daily battery life of the phone. Anyways....app rocks! I will continue to use it. Hope to hear some feedback on the suggestion.

Crashes multiple times during workout.... Been using the Strong app for about 2 years now. It has been great for making workouts tracking and my progress in my lifts. It has been and still is easy to use. A few months ago, a large update was put in that changed the interface of Strong. The new interface is fine, but with that update has come a 'Bug' which caused my app to crash when I entire in the weight or set number of a lift during the workout. It has become unbelievably frustrating having to constantly open and close this app during a workout when before it ran flawlessly. Overall was a great app, but with this bug, it's quality has been rendered much poorer than it could be.

Regressing app. This app was once, without hesitation, my favorite workout app. It was clean, easy to use, simple, customizable, well supported, and quick. It definitely held to its name, “strong.” The latest update takes several huge steps back. The interface is more distracting, using way too many colors too often. It isn’t bad necessarily, but it definitely feels like when your boss adds colors to a spreadsheet THINKING it’s helpful, but really it just makes it look cluttered. Some of the features have disappeared (like seeing how many times you’ve done a workout before adding it to a routine) and others I’ve been told are still there but I’ve given up trying to find them (like the calculator to quickly tell you what plates to use based on weight and bar type). It’s lost several steps in intuitiveness and filled that gap with emojis. Instead of errors you get 🙈 and when you get a PR you get stars. So if you haven’t used Strong before, it’s worth checking out. But if you’re looking for a simple app that doesn’t have distractions on every screen, maybe try something else. It’s a bummer, I’ve used and loved strong for at least a year, but I keep getting frustrated using it. I feel like it’s a brand that’s lost it’s way. Hopefully it’ll return to its original identity, even if the design and UI itself evolves.

Solid simple interface. Does not work consistently with apple watch. I really liked the app, is simple and straightforward. I’ve use it for over a year now and paid a renew subscription a few months ago. The main feature I liked was the integration with the apple watch, it was user friendly and allowed me to workout effectively. The three stars, is because for the last 2months months I have not been able to consistently use strong in my apple watch. At least 8times in the last weeks, I’ve got ready to start working-out and I have to spend 10min trying to get the app to work. Opened several tickets with support, but it doesn’t seem anything can be done (for some reason I do not understand). If you are someone that like me, every-minute count because you have a tight schedule to workout, I would recommend not to download the app if you expect it to work with your apple watch.

Best Lifting App I’ve Found. I’ve tried several lifting apps and have always been frustrated that they come close but there’s always a few features missing. I’ve been using this one for over a year now and every feature I’ve felt was missing... wasn’t. I just hadn’t found it yet. I love that it is so easy to see the last weight/reps you did when you go into the same lift later on. And that you can leave yourself notes, so easily check your progress over time in any lift or measurement, set the rest time (this feature is amazing!) and so many more things. After a year, I’m sold for sure. I haven’t looked very hard yet, but hopefully they have or soon get a circuit training timer. Then it would be the full exercise package.

The Best. Details and Polish. What an amazing workout app. They have pretty decent example routines, and the flexibility to create your own routine. The animated examples are a really nice touch (though beginners should supplement them with more in depth videos). But what really makes this app stand apart is the attention to detail. Lifted more weights, or did more reps in a routine? It prompts you to edit the routine based on that progress. Great, almost automatic way to implement progression in your routines. Amazing Watch app, and overall UI design. Plus, the profile page is excellent a, to see charts and record you macro nutrient intake. But if all you want to do is lift, you never have to visit this page. The flexibility and power makes this app standout even over the StrongLifts app, which is this apps closest competitor but far more rigid. Really awesome app.

Not impressed. I really loved the idea of this App. Even purchased the premium. But it is not cool that in the middle of a workout the app craps out. I can’t finish a workout I can’t add anything and the only way to stop this is to delete the app. Which I then lose the whole workout. Or stay frozen on the workout forever. I sent an email to support with no response. Today after an hour and half of working out the app froze again. I spent 20 minutes trying to get the workout to finish and then not only deleted the app but deleted my membership. If the maker of this app is too busy to respond I have no reason to continue the premium portion of the app. I realized I never sent this to you. Though I have emailed with no response because after a 1.5 hour workout the app will not let me finish. And during the workout I could not add or remove anything please fix this.

Nothing better, even with pen and paper. It seems like the best way to track progress is with pen and paper with how free form it is and usually an app is decent at one thing but not in all of it. Well strong tracks all of it and it seems like after a week of using it, it’s the best there is. Granted, I haven’t tried the calorie counter much but seems to cover all the big parts. Calories, macros, meal preps, workout guides, templates, extensive exercise library, rest timers, reps/sets/weight, Perceived Rate of Exertion(PRE), body measurements, body weight, it even tracks all of that and generates graphs and charts from that data. This app is awesome. I would definitely pay one time at $10+ after I had a month trial of this app. It’s amazing and deserves it. I’m out.

Nice, but not ideal if you’re into calisthenics/bodyweight. I made the switch to Gymnastic Strength Training/Calisthenics a few years ago. I understand it’s a hard problem to accurately track these exercises, as the progressions are typically not as simple as adding pounds or reps (although it can be). In the programs I’m following some examples of progressions that I would love to be tracked are numerical but not traditional weighted: height of the rings, distance from wall, angle of body. Some progressions are distinct “shapes” to get into (for front lever - tuck, advanced tuck, frog, straddle, single leg, etc etc.) - it would be cool if we could customize an exercise completely and define these selectable progressions per exercise. Also, I like many, especially in the current pandemic workout from home almost exclusively and that means I use I prefer to use my ipad for data entry. Please support iPad!

Analytics need work. The tracking and design aspect of the app is great. Well worth the pro subscription. But the analytic portion of the app is really lacking. There seems to be a glitch where my lifts do not sync with the widgets on the Home Screen. My bench for example does not have any data points for the last two month even though I have benched once a week. When you expand the widget it also shows seemingly random dates with no year so I hav no idea what I’m looking at. And it shows completely different data than the collapsed widget. There is also no option to view your historical data within a set date range so the data you can see is severely lacking. That is half of the reason I want to use the app. Overall the app is good but the data and analytics needs a major update. Considering cancelling and trying other apps because of that.

Great app. I have to say after using this app for over 3 months it’s the perfect app for me. Now I’m not a person who is very athletic. I started working out to help me in Juijitsu which I started training in January of this year. I’m smaller and older than most of the guys in my class and working out has helped. Using this app to track my workouts is very easy and has everything I need. I also love the fact that you can edit your workouts in case you miss one or need to add to it. I do a few different workouts that I track and even put my Juijitsu training in. You can only store 3 in the free version but it allows you to put empty workouts in if you go over. I would recommend this app to anybody who works out and likes to keep track of stuff. I understand that everybody wants to make money but I think the subscription rate to this app is a little steep. But it’s probably with it. My request would be that maybe you can pay for certain features instead of the subscription, like be able to just buy 3 more workouts for .99 or something. Thank you and I will continue to use your app as long as I continue to work out

Great for tracking. Update: I wish this was comparable with the MyFitness nutrition app. Would be nice for them to import to each other. Still a great app. I very rarely purchase apps. Been using this app for about a month now and purchased it after the initial trial. Great way to track previous workouts and progress (both in max weight lifted, time in cardio exercises and body measurements). There is more to the app than I am even currently using really. Love the timer between sets as well. Allows you to set and save a routine for a muscle group and see what you did the previous workout. Very much worth the $30 fee for the year. I think a good addition going forward would be to add more workout routine suggestions for muscle groups.

I love this app!!!. This is by far the best and easiest workout app I have ever tried. I am relatively new to lifting and have tried several apps to track my workouts. I like that you can create you own workouts and if there is something not on the list of exercises that comes with the app you can add your own. My favorite feature by far is the Apple Watch integration. I don’t need to have my phone with me to do and track my workout. No phone falling out of my pocket or forgetting it at my workout station. I can keep it locked up in the locker room and follow my routine right on my watch. If I need to change my workout on the fly I can do it right on the watch. Then when I’m done, everything syncs up on the phone. I can’t say enough how much I love this app. 5 stars from me!!!

Look no further. This app is excellent and I’m the type of person to be very critical of software that doesn’t work well. The interface is easy and intuitive and it just works! It works really well when paired to the Apple Watch as well. I highly recommend this app for tracking your workouts. There is a large selection of workouts to choose from as well. They offered a 60 month trial and then $30 per year after that and I will definitely be renewing. The only thing that I wish this app had is the ability to add previous workouts sessions. I was keeping track of my workouts in OneNote before I found this app and would like to add those sessions to my history. Other than that request, this app is perfect.

Love this app. I love this app! It’s super helpful for tracking your progress, history, and for staying organized and planning your workouts. I would like to see them add a social feature where you can share your customized workouts with other users on the app as well as view other members workouts who share similar goals and have similar body types. I would also like some clarity as to how the volume is calculated when measuring total weight in any given workout; it is a little confusing when trying to calculate single arm workouts or workouts which don’t involve weight (I.e core workouts like knee raises, is it just taking your body weight and multiplying by the reps or what?)

Like this app :). I use this all the time and it's very helpful. I only gave 4 stars because I don't have any experience w/ other workout apps; and there are a couple features I'd like to see, such as: ability to swap exercises in the middle of a routine without the new exercise going to the bottom of the list; ability to change around a current routine without basically having to start over. Keep up the good work! Absolutely love the drag and drop reordering exercises and the ability to swap exercises within a wrkout!!! Just tried it this morn and am SO PLEASED!!! Thank you very very much!! :) The bolder text helps too, my eyesight is not the best. I am my own trainer, hav created my own custom wrkouts, and have 3 variations of each; and this really wrks for me!!

Simple and powerful. Love this app. It’s super easy to use and has a really intuitive interface, went PRO and never looked back. I ESPECIALLY love the Apple Watch app and the fact they continue to improve it. ONLY reason it’s not five stars is there’s no weight ‘calculator’ thing in the watch app. On the phone they have my favorite feature which will tell you how many of what plates you need on the barbell to get to your weight (for slow people like me who struggle with basic addition lol). PLEASE, please, please add this to the watch app, maybe as a force touch option?? Then I could finally ditch my phone to workout. Although, it also has a ‘companion mode’ for anyone reading which works GREAT, uses your watch to record hear rate and shows some basic info but you track your sets on the phone. Really like it and it always just works!

Great app for lifting. Been using the app for about a year and a half. After logging my workouts in the app for about three months I upgraded to the premium version and have since enjoyed the benefits. My favorite part is how it keeps track of the weights you’re lifting to ensure you follow a routine for progressive overload if that’s what you’re looking for. I never liked using a notebook to keep track of my workouts, sets, reps, etc. so this filled that void. The auto rest timers are another great benefit to keep your workout moving. I’m writing this review because I’ve enjoyed the app, but recently had an issue with my subscription. Fortunately, the support team was great and timely. They quickly helped me resolve my issue so I thought they deserved the praise. I haven’t tried competing apps, but this one is solid for everything I need it to be.

I use this app daily!. I’m a personal trainer, I have used paper logs for years and have had ok success with this system. Now, fast foreword a year and I’m using STRONG. This is by far the most feature packed training log I’ve come across. The issue with so many other is there is no option for supersets or giant sets, or even drop sets. It auto calculates warmup sets (in my line of work this is a big help) and you can add them wherever you want. Separate auto timers for both warmup sets and working sets… they thought of everything. You can track your whole workout from your watch if you prefer. The only thing I can think of that could be added is the ability to keep track of weight you used for a superset/giant set and a strait working set separate.

Better than Jefit. Better than an excel sheet. And certainly better than a notebook.. Honestly the free version of this app is too compelling. I wasn’t going to download at first because I thought I would need to pay to get anything worth using. I would happily pay them money for pro, but the pro features aren’t things I’d use. This is the de facto best way to track your progress in the gym and make sure you’re not plateauing. I’ve been tracking in an excel sheet, and then Notion, and this blows everything else out of the water. I’ve never written a review for anything, but I felt I ought to at the bare minimum due to not paying. Perhaps you’ll release new pro features in the future that call for it. Please give me an option to export my weight and bodyfat percentage data. I’ll sign up for pro for that.

Best app I use. Been using this app (with the Strong Pro upgrade) since 2016, and I can—without a doubt—say this is by far the best app I use on almost a daily basis. Even now as I come back to lifting after a year off, this app makes it so much easier to jump back in and make those gains back as quick as possible. Being able to see all my past records, workouts, body weight/measurements, etc. gives me confidence to crush weights that were daunting to me when I first tried them years ago. Not to mention! the UI is beautiful, the timers and calculators are immensely useful, the workout tracking is fantastic. For nearly 4 years now (despite my little break) this has been the best app on my phone. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to take their fitness seriously and track important workout data.

Great App, Needs Apple Watch Enhancements. Love this app to track my progress during and after workouts. I recently ran a workout program on my Apple Watch and found that I was unable to change weight amounts or even two count during a workout (like you can on the phone app). I had to go back from memory and update everything in my phone. It would be great to not need my phone to do this during a workout. Also, my phone app doesn’t intuitively show my charted progress on the main profile page (I.e. my most recent exercises and historical charted progress). I have to drill into each individual exercise on the “exercises” icon to find this information out. It would be great if the profile tab were more of an actual dashboard for everything progress related instead of just displaying how many workouts I’ve performed a week. Other than that, great app!

Good idea. So buggy.. I've been using Strong for the past couple of years, through many, many version. I like many of the features: the layout, the display of your entire routine on one screen, and ability to edit routines on the fly. But the bugs. Oh so many bugs. I don't think they've released one completely stable, bug-free version. The app freezes and hangs frequently -- numerous times during the course of a workout. The rest timer is completely unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you get notifications, other times it seems like the app just hung in the background and you won't know it until five minutes later when you think "Gosh, this seems like an awful long rest period!" I wish I could like the app more. I've been waiting for two years for solid, reliable version. But I'm so tired of dealing with bugs and an unreliable app, I'm going to start looking for a replacement.

Won’t open on iwatch series 5. Update: the new update released today for the iwatch is working 100%. I have issues with timer and having to spend time adjusting the weights and reps to line up after spinning the numbers constantly. It would be nice if you can tap on the values and type (scribble) the numbers in. The cost is pretty steep for this app. I’ll keep playing with it for the next couple of weeks to decide whether it’s worth the $100. I have tried many times to open the app on my new iWatch 5 without success. Until they either update the issue or provide additional advice, I will only give this app one star as it’s useless for the reason I purchased it. I will definitely ask for a refund as the reason I bought the app was to use it on my iWatch for convenience.

My favorite Workout tracker. I have used workout trackers for about three years now. This is the best one I’ve found. BodySpace and StrongLifts 5x5 were my go to trackers. Now I’m just using strong. It’s easy to put together routines, as well as creating or modifying a workout on the fly, which is very helpful early in the year when it can be more challenging with to find equipment while all the casuls try to git gud. Being able to track progress on exercises at a set by set level is very satisfying. The watch app leaves a little to be desired. If you forget to sync your routines and forget your phone, it would be nice to be able to search for exercises, rather than trying to focus on a long list of exercises while your heart is pounding and the state of the gym is rapidly changing. This will improve the longer you use the app (prioritizes recent exercises in the listing) but this does create a barrier to entry and doesn’t match my personal use case, which is obviously the most important use case and a JIRA or something should be raised right away to add my desired features. Integration with health and activity makes me happy.

Shut up and take my money!. Updated..... Customer service got back to me and indicated that an update is forthcoming. In the meantime, to activate the subscription button, to press on the far right side of the button. Worked like a charm! I’m looking forward to using all the features of the paid version of this comprehensive app! .............................................................................The free features of this app are so good! So much so I would like to purchase the subscription. The problem is that the upgrade choice buttons are non functional. I’ve tried logging in and out, uninstalling then reinstalling a few times. Two emails to customer support are yet to be answered. Seems odd that such an effective app with a 4.9 average rating can be so difficult to subscribe to. Are they working out an update?

The weight training app I’ve been waiting for. This is (in my opinion) the most well designed workout tracking app for weight training, and I’ve used several. It gives you lots of control without feeling overwhelming or feeling utilitarian. I love that I can set separate rest timers for warm-up sets and working sets. I do have a couple of suggestions: 1) I wish I could import workout data. Supporting the export format of every other app isn’t realistic. If the developer defined an import format i.e. a CSV file with fields X, Y, and Z, I can do the heavy lifting (get it?) of putting my data in that format. 2) I wish I could define my own bar weight. I’ve never heard of some of the bars that are available, but an SSB squat bar is 65lbs and that’s not an option.

Easiest way to track my volume and PRs. I kept paper journals for years, and it was easier than the first generations of tracking apps I tried. But Strong got me to ditch the paper. It's easy to add exercises, set routines, and modify routines mid-workout when the need arises. I like that I have a built-in timer for rest periods. But the most valuable tool has been the info button on each lift that lets me track my volume between the current workout and the last and then over longer time periods. I've gained a number of unexpected insights from looking at those volume and PR charts. And in the several years since I started using Strong, the updates have just made it better — something you can’t take for granted!

Great, efficient app!. I’ve used this app for 3+ years now and don’t know how I used to lift without it. It has the functionality I need without excess fluff or steps. (I hate having to navigate 16 different menus just to annotate a drop set in other apps...) I’m very happy I’m not carrying around busted up old notebooks too! Great interface: Automated rest timer lets me nail my rest periods and see at a glance when I need to set up for my next set. I can easily see where I’m headed next, and start eyeballing that open bench. Super easy to drag exercises out of order in case somebody grabs up my machine before I can. Building my workouts is very easy and intuitive and provides the flexibility I need to enter custom exercises if they aren’t in the library, add notes/hints, and tweak things. Nice roll-ups: It’s easy to review progress on various lifts and track long-term trends and spot lagging body parts, for focus/remedial work. Gaps: It’d be nice to have an integrated tool for mesocycle planning, but that’s easy enough to do manually, and a tempo timer would be nice, but again, not critical. Overall: Very pleased with the app- definitely worth the “pro” purchase. Glad to see the developer keeps this alive and always look forward to the new features with each release.

I really love, and would love to reorder exercises. I really love this app. Before, I’d have to use my notes app to track my exercises, but this makes everything faster and more fun to use. The only two things I would suggest - 1) Reordering exercises on the phone app — Often when I get to the gym, I might not be able to start the exercise I want to begin my routine with. What happens is that I end up doing my exercises according to whatever weights are available. It would be great to be able to drag and drop exercises in the app while actively completing the routine. 2) Enabling handoff between Apple Watch and Iphone while completing routine — I think the watch app is cute and nice to use - very handy when you don’t want to dig out your phone. However, if I start a workout on my phone, and then try to update it on my watch, the same routine hasn’t started there - it only gives the option to start a new workout - meaning both the phone and the watch can have two workouts going at the same time, but not the same workout at the same time. It would be great if it were a seamless experience between the two :)

An amazingly practical app that hit its target!. So many thanks and compliments to whoever designed this app! The interface is so functional and seamless to navigate. The ONLY thing that I would recommend that would make this THE complete app, and separate it from any would-be contenders, is the ability to share the workouts we’ve made and finished with others. I’m in the military and I train a lot of people but, because there are so many people that I advise, I can’t be at the gym with all of them. If they could share their profile with me, and I could go in and view it so that I could take notes and make suggestions, that would be AWESOME!!! But, as of now, I’m super satisfied with the app as it is! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

The BEST workout log! 🌟🌟🌟🏋🏾‍♀️. I've tried a lot of different fitness log apps, but this is the very best by far! I prefer not to pay for apps, but I had to have this one. After using Strong for about a month, I happily paid to unlock the features! It's the most customizable of all the other fitness apps, it's simple & easy to use. The developers listen to their customers and are constantly updating the app and adding new features! I recommend this app whenever I can. I love the built-in timer, the super-set feature, & the weight plate calculator. You can also set nutrition and workout targets/goals. Hands down the BEST fitness log! 😊 Download it now! You won’t be disappointed. Nothing comes close! Keep up the EXCEPTIONAL work guys!

Love It. I have been using Strong for about a month and I really like the program. I used BodySpace for a long time and really liked a lot of their features, but for me, Strong is a better program. Pros: It is very easy to use. I love the ability to copy sets and not have to re-enter information from the previous set. The Timer is easy to use and adjust. I like the warmup calculator and the auto one-rep max calculator. Cons: Exercise database isn’t as full as I would like. However, adding new exercises is a breeze so this isn’t a huge problem. For some reason I struggle with the plate calculator. I need to watch some more training videos on how to use it. Sometimes the Superset’s don’t work like they are supposed to so I will assume it is operator error rather than a program error. Also, it counts drop sets as an additional set, rather than a continuation of one set. This isn’t a big deal other than it makes you look like you did more sets than you really did. Once you get used to it, it is easy to make the mental adjustment. Overall this is a great program and I don’t think I will be switching anytime soon. I would give it five stars if the exercise database were bigger and if it calculated the dropsets differently.

Functional & Affordable. I’ve tried quite a few workout apps but Strong has stood above the rest. Paying $100 for someone to tell me what to do just wasn’t working. I can use Strong and adapt it to my goals and workouts. It’s simple to use but extremely effective. I want to work my arms? All I have to do is select the arms category and I have different exercise options, my past reps, weights used and a video with directions of how to do it. It’s truly changed my lifting experience! Also, cmon, who also gives you TWO months of a free trial? If you’re looking for an app that tells you what workouts to do and when, this isn’t for you. But if you want to building your workouts, track your lifting progress in an easy and manageable way, this is your app!

The best Tracking App Ever 💪. Unbelievably impressed on how easy this app is to navigate and also understand upon first opening. As an active Trainer I find it very difficult to track my workouts plus my clients workouts this allows me an ability to build a work out in less than 10 minutes which allows me to more focus on what I need to do for my clients. I am more than happy to pay the fee to keep this app running and also it is way easier to track numbers this way without having to write them down in a book every time you want to track all you have to do is hit the checkmark and complete the work out that you already put in as a predetermined exercise. I want to extend my gratefulness and thanks to this app creator thank you very much and please continue to expand this in anyway you see fit!!!

Sync with Apple Watch. It’s not the best app at syncing with the Apple Watch, especially during a workout. I am always having problems with the either app syncing after starting a workout, or when I change each set weight across a planned exercise, there’s no update on the other app unless a set is clicked to be done. Also, would be super helpful to have the weight change on Apple Watch to increment WITHOUT a scroll. For instance, if I want to change my bench press from 135 to 185 a set early, I have to scroll all the way up to 185 and since it scrolls up continually by 0.5 increments, it takes a while and it’s easy to miss. If instead the numbers go up *without* a scroll, it’s MUCH easier to stop where needed. I hope that makes sense. Like going from a weight from 135 to 135.5 doesn’t have a visual of scrolling, but rather the number instantly changes to 135.5 (no animation).

Best of the bunch. While Strong doesn’t have every single option I’d like to have in a workout tracker, it does have the easiest interface to use. There are other apps with garish graphics or with every single option, but there’s no flow which makes them difficult to use. Most everything in Strong is easy to find and the data is exportable if you want it somewhere else. The developers have been responsive, but I’d really like to see an option for rest/pause sets, a volume control for timer buzzer (it’s not loud enough when listening to music), and a way to sort workouts as I have over 100 workouts programmed. I’ve used all the apps and Strong is the best, having tracked almost 400 workouts for me.

Has all the features that keep me on track. I’ve tried several other tracking apps this year but shall jump around no more. I absolutely love this app. I loved it enough to pay for it without even thinking twice. It has all the features I want during my workouts, like automatic rest timer, add/remove sets and exercises easily, mark warmup and failure sets, short animations of the movement, and the option to auto-update the workout template based on changes made in the moment - or not. I also love that I can easily edit the workout templates themselves while I’m in the middle of a workout (even for a completely different template), which is exactly the moment when I have ideas about how I want to tweak my program. Last thing I’ll say about how much I love this app: when I finish a workout it shows me my workout history with a bar graph of the number of workouts I’ve done each week for the last 6-8 weeks. It always makes me feel accomplished to see those bars stay steady at 4 per week, week after week. I almost don’t skip just because I don’t want to mess up my record. It’s a pleasure to use and I’ve been more consistent since I started using it. The best.

Love this app. Tried a few other similar apps in past. One worked nearly as well with watch support but quit working with new ios updates. Another seemed like a good Idea but was awkward and no way to adjust weight on the watch. Found this app and it seemed to have good watch support allowing you to customize excersizes on the fly, updating my values on routines so I can see what weight, reps and sets I did on previous workout plus graphing my progress on the phone later. I was happy to pay for the pro version especially seeing continued updates coming. There are a few things that would be nice like a website account to manage data on a computer, more charting options and integration possibly with Carb Manager app. I still highly recommend to anyone who wants to get more out of their watch at the gym.

Quite possibly the best strength training app. The app is incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. It has most, if not every, movements you might want to include in your routines, and best of all the Apple Watch app is very easy to use while working out and you don’t want to carry your phone with you. The only thing I would like to add is a pause button while doing a workout. Sometimes the gym is just crowded and you have to wait your turn for a machine or a weight. I don’t really want to include that wait time in the workout. I’m also not sure how the app calculates calories burnt but I don’t want it to think I’m exerting myself when I’m actually just waiting for a machine.

Best app for tracking weight lifting. This is my go to app for the last few years, and it keeps getting better!! From virtual demos of exercise to creating your own unique exercise with timers or rep tracking. Seeing your entire history of an exercise at a click from within your workout, so you can verify your progress in real time. It also has a couple of visuals that show your weekly workout count at a glance and your consistency. This app will probably not be as beneficial to you with workout videos or cardio type workouts, but if you want to track real weights, this is the only app I can recommend. I’ve never even looked for another to replace it.

Best mobile strength training app. I’ve been using a BodySpace for years but finally broke things off with them, since then I’ve tried a few other apps and NONE have the user friendly interface, richness of features and tools as Strong. easily my favorite app of its kind, particularly due to its integration with MyFitnessPal and apple health. my ONLY 2 request/problems is to add a “friends” or “workout buddy” section so I can share my routines and workouts with my partners easier. My other one is to add the ability to view percentages of 1RM within the app. such as, if a deadlift 1rm is set at 450, i could easily view a chart showing the percentages of that 1rm for rep range usage. It’s a small detail and can easily be found using google but it would be super convenient in the app.

Bad First Impression (and those are important). Opened the app on my watch to workout and it said please set up the watch. Never seen that before, it says to open the app got to settings > Apple Watch. First, it’s actually under Profile > *COG* > Apple Watch. Not super intuitive... Then it says “Hang on! This Can take up to a minute.” Five minutes later... nothing. This is on an iPhone 11 Pro and an Apple Watch Series 5, so I’m doubting that it’s the hardware... I’ll continue trying and possibly update my review, but a pretty sad start. **UPDATE: Moved on by recording my workout on the phone. When I looked at my watch, it was ready. Updated review to 4 stars. The app does what it should and does it well, my only complaint, so far, is the janky Apple Watch setup. I’ll continue to update my review as my experience changes. It’s a story...

Crashes. I have over 2 years of workouts in this app. It’s the app that made me take the leap and stop using notebooks to track my workouts. It contained a decent amount of exercises in its database and was easy enough to add exercises. It’s not perfect and it is missing some features that would fully replace a workout journal, eg., the ability to easily record drop sets, to record HIIT workouts without using mile distance intervals, but it was simple and effective. I agree with another reviewer that the UI has become busier and more complicated with the updates. It used to be very easy to duplicate a set in a workout, for example, and now you have to manually add reps and sets. But the worst part is that in my iPhone it constantly crashes on start up. I may just have to return to normal notebooks. Luckily the app supports export to excel. At least I hope it still does.

Best weight-workout app I’ve used. I used Fitness Point for a few years before I came across the “Strong” app. The wide ranging versatility of Strong is vastly superior to Fitness Point. The paid version of Strong has multiple worthwhile upgrades over the free base app. For me, the ability to create more than 3 personal workouts was a key factor in going with the paid app. My one “wish” for this app that I think would be an improvement would be to see the total weight moved in a single workout prior to hitting “finish”. It would help me hit more goals. I know I can go back and edit but it’s sort of a pain in the middle of a workout. Otherwise, this is a powerful workout app with wide versatility that should appeal to the majority of plate heads and other gym rats like me.

Simple is Good!. I've been using the Strong app for several weeks now and I really appreciate the simple, straightforward design. I've recommended to several folks and I'm glad to see it doing so well! Without burying the simple UI with more features, there are two three things that'd I'd love to see added, mostly around the use of the timer. 1.) create manual button for starting a workout. Sometimes I like to review my last workout before immediately starting a new one. Having the clock start automatically once you open a workout is a bummer. A "start" or "go" button within the workout routine would be great. 2.) utilize the timer feature for certain exercises in addition for rest periods. How awesome would it be if you could have a countdown for planks or push-ups within the app, or even better your Apple Watch! No toggling between apps. 3.) allow for different rest periods between different exercises within a routine. I think you're able to have different rest time amounts from routine to routine, but not individual exercises. I know that you can change rest timer amounts manually during the rest period, but having everything edited and loaded prior to starting your workout would be helpful. Again, great app! Thanks for adding the body weight tracker! 😉

Good with caveats. Revised from 3 stars to 2 stars: There are far too many bugs in syncing a workout between my watch and iPhone. If I don’t catch the syncing issue at the beginning of the workout and restart the app on both devices, then you can forget about having your heart rate data saved. Cancelled my PRO subscription and will try and find another app that has less bugs. Original Review: Overall, this app is good for tracking your fitness progress over time as well as tracking your workout program. However, this app is riddled with bugs that never get addressed in subsequent updates. The most common bug involves an inconsistency between syncing workout progress with an Apple Watch. Another major issue is that the Strong app on the iPhone and the the Strong app on the Apple Watch will each write to the Health data resulting in double entries. Good app, with much room for improvement.

The best and most versatile weightlifting tracker I have used. And I've tried quite a few. You can add your own custom exercises (and routines) if what you need is not in the default settings. Includes progress pics and body measurements. Excellent display of analytics. Edit: I’ve been using the app for more than 4 years now and not only is it still (by far) the best iron tracker available, unlike many other quality apps I’ve used in the past (not just for fitness), they’ve continued to update the app with useful features and minor tweaks. They really seem to care about keeping the product up to date and that is something of a rarity in the app world. Continue to highly recommend!

I. Love. This. App.. I’ve been using this app for years. They continually update with great additions and it’s clear they understand their users needs. I’d say the only area they could improve on is some type of integration with my fitness pal or another app concerning calorie counts per day. (Although maybe I’m missing a function that’s already in place) There’s tracking statistics for everything you need but it can become tedious to remember to enter in your total calorie count into this app if you’re already using another to track throughout the day. Regardless, I LOVE THIS APP. I use it for every single workout and I can’t think of a single improvement they could integrate concerning workout tracking. They really did an amazing job. THANK YOU, DEVELOPERS. You don’t realize how much you’ve helped me.

Could be 5 with a simple fix. I’ve tried multiple apps for workout logging, and this is by far the best. The functionality is incredible. The only thing keeping it from perfect is its search function. When searching for their huge selection of exercises, you have to type them in exactly as they appear in their database, or it won’t show up. If they made the search less restrictive, it would make it so much easier to quickly find and build workout schemes. For example, to find “barbell curl” you have to search “Curl (barbell)”. If the search function allowed for any word that appeared, regardless of the order, to display the sought after exercise, it would be perfect. Again, it’s an incredible app, and I use it for all of my workouts.
