Do Not Buy! Splash Learn Does Not Make Good on Their Commitments. Along with this app is supposed to come the ability to make multiple profiles. But this is simply not possible. It gives you an error message and tells you that your email is already in use and you will have to select another email (and pay a new subscription fee!) to add a profile for another child. So I went ahead and contacted support. They were not helpful at all. They told me that multiple profiles aren’t supported unless I buy from Apple ITunes store. So I sent them a screenshot back showing that I had bought from Apple and requesting help setting up another profile. That was on April 17. It’s now April 28 and I haven’t heard a word from them in response.

Easy to use. My daughter enjoys playing and she can easily navigate the app.

She tested 9A in CogTest among highest 3% in the nation. Best money spent on this membership.

This is potentially a great app - but unfortunately has lots of bugs that make it unusable. We love this app in concept. However, the inability to sync between devices (while In prior years syncing happened automatically) is a fatal flaw. In addition, the bugs in the app make it impossible to send data to the developer to fix without getting kicked out of the app. I have raised these issues multiple times and am always told the app will be updated to fix these issues and it still hasn’t. The developer has now gone radio silent after I paid for the full version. I don’t want my money back - I just want it to work as advertised.

Too easy. Doing second grade math is like doing kindergarten math And you might wanna spread apart the numbersKeep on clicking the right answer and I really clicked the wrong answer because they’re too close together I am moving up to third grade level because it’s too easy hope you like the game would still do reflex math some cool games at reflex math go to one more grade level before you well I hope you like my reviews

Great & fun for practice!. The app is great. We finished the 1st grade app and now we are using the 2nd grade app. I have got it all integrated and purchased thru 5th grade. Always get rapid responses to problems. <3 these apps!

First week review. My 8 year old daughter has academic issues and struggles on a daily basis with her class work and homework. She loves the games and having the multiple choices helps build her confidence with each question. She doesn’t ask to play many educational games but she has loved her first week and keeps asking to play.

So far, So good. I like the pace of this app. My daughter is struggling with basic math facts; not having a timer is extremely encouraging for her. We are just starting our trial; however, I have a good feeling about this app. The little guy saying " You Rock" every time she answers a question is a bit annoying, but that's coming from old mom. $76 for a year seems a expensive, but if she's able to get a better grasp of math concepts from using this app, I would gladly pay double that amount.

Great for math on the go!. We love to pull out Splash Math on our Mobile. It is a great way to make waiting productive and fun. Five stars

Learning app. I was hoping I could work on different things with my kids, we have to do what comes up, no toggling between subtraction or addition, you have to do what automatically pops up from the app. It does have lots of different learning games, but I just wanted to get to the point of adding and subtraction.

So much better than I thought it would be!. Was desperately looking for some sort of game or some thing to help my 2nd grader daughter with Math. Needed to figure out a way to have her practice bath without screaming and freaking out. I saw that the trial was very short and that this program seemed expensive, but because I was so desperate I had to at least take the chance. And OMG this is so perfect for her! She is in second grade and literally the games follow her curriculum chapters perfectly. We just started doing The time and money games which especially with time she would just get so confused it would drive me crazy. She literally had to do it over and over again on the game for like an hour before she finally got it! But she finally understood and I said the next game is actually corresponding to her next chapter in math which is counting within 1000. Wish I had gotten this for her sooner. I am so excited honestly this is well worth the $59. It would cost me at least that to hire a tutor for one hour. This was surprisingly worth it!

Scam. Another crappy app that is geared towards making money than teaching math. The free part is pitiful at best. Maybe it would be better to just charge to begin with than waste our time setting up only to be constantly badgered with subscription offers.

Love it!!!. My daughter absolutely loves it!!! After I downloaded it she was on for an hour! I had to tell her to put it down for dinner lol

App is Not Free. Beware that this app is not free. I do not like feeling hustled and honestly no matter how good your app is I would never sign up for it due to it being listed as “free” in the App Store and then immediately having you go through a login process that brings you to sign up for a free trial page. Say what you are up front.

Can’t try all of them.... I’m only 7 years old. But I wonder why I can’t try all of them we are usually out of school right now... and I’m in 2nd grade!! So when I first downloaded this game.... I wrote my name and I can try all of these cool stuff! But when I almost finished all of them... it said start a free trial I asked my mom and she said no so I couldn’t do all of them. The BEST Math App!. My daughter has ADD and struggles in math at school. This app has helped her more than anything else. She nowlooks forward to doing math and asks to play Splash Math! Worth every penny!!!!

Great app!. Love this app! Helping my child out with her school! One thing that I would like to add is to have an explanation as to why the answer chosen is wrong. I agree that the parents should explain it themselves but sometimes I get busy at home and she would end up just pushing past questions and getting them wrong because there was no explanation. Excellent App. I purchased for my grandson who needed to focus more with math. Love the daily reminders and it also gets him excited as he likes to see the weekly percentage increase as well as the in app encouragement!

Not Free. They take a bunch of your personal information and then tell you your account will be charged after one week. Not an honest business tactic. The app should tell you up front that it’s pay to play not take your info and then ask for money! Two thumbs down!

Reluctant Son. My son didn’t want to do this app, thinking it was more homework he had to do. Now he asks for me phone after finishing his homework to do his Splash math. Great app!

Engaging app that kids love using. My daughter has tried other apps but the time clock factor is a feature that has really discouraged her from using. This app gamifies it more and she loves to practice math, asking more than the minimum required time!

One stop shop for my child's math skills. After trying several apps we were introduced to IXL through my child's school. Everyone is happy! Mom's happy because her daughter is getting the reinforcement she needs to improve on her math skills and work towards mastery. Child is happy because she doesn't feel the rush that other sites create with a timer and is having fun even though she is doing schoolwork. Thank you IXL for creating a site that truly is helping my child succeed in math.

Not really a free version. When I search for a free app, I usually expect more than a single two minute game. This was a waste of my time. At least my kid was occupied for the length of a single board.

Don’t give email unless you’re willing to subscribe. This app requires your email address to advance through set up but doesn’t reveal ahead of time that it’s not free. It costs 9.99 a month or 4.99 a month if you subscribe for a year. There’s no reason to give your personal information out unless you’re looking for a subscription plan.

Amazing. This game teaches a lot of math but if you do not have a membership you can only answer 10 questions. And it only goes up to 5th grade.

Easier if literate. My kids ( 3 and 5) both were using this daily. One at the K setting, the other at grade 1. They both enjoyed it and continued on well until the little one got to a point in the Kindergarten platform that required her to be able to read text answers, since she can’t read she can no longer work independently on the program, and consequently she spends less time in the app. Otherwise, it is a nice app that a range of ages and abilities can use

Splash math is coming to town. I love splash math they have all the grades and it is learning but you do not know it because it is a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2nd grader in love. I downloaded this app on a whim of searching. My second grader has loved it! Even request to play her math game. The token reward is a great visual system and she is learning new techniques. We have really enjoyed the app.

Fantastic app!. It’s worth it! It’s like pulling teeth to get her to use it but it is the one thing we’ve been consistent with over the years. And it has helped her tremendously.

Splash math. I don’t like signing up for an app to find it has hidden costs and only a trial run before you start paying and you still haven’t been told what the cost is going to be. So I deleted before I started the trial. If you were up front I think I might have given it a chance.

Perfect for math struggles. I have a kid that struggles with math. I tried a handful of different apps. This one is worth it and you can check their progress in the parents app. This is perfect and worth the money for sure. And the little fish are super cute so my daughter likes to do it.

Misleading. They claim it can be used for free, but that is only true if you sign up for a subscription before you can access the "free" portion. They are obviously hoping you forget to cancel your subscription and pay for the year. If it is a free trial, it should be free. Once I decide I like it for my kids, I could then subscribe.

The worst game ever I don’t want to send in my email on this game. 🎖🎖🎖🎖🎖 Math learning adventure for kids. Splash Math is a great app to get kids learn and get ready for school tests assessments more get ready for school. Downloaded this for my 6 year old daughter to help her with math. It challenges enough and she is enjoying it. I was going to just do the free trial but after just one day I’ve decided to purchase it monthly. Absolutely 💖 this app. So far in this past weeks some of the practice has actually helped her with math skills. It’s easier than trying to use workbooks. Some kids have different learning techniques and this app has touched on many different technique uses. I really appreciate Splash Math. I hope it will help you people too!!! 😊😀😀

Good learning math games. Good math games for kids ages 6-8 and the subscription was good and math facts you can play 40+ games. Good deal, I feel good about it and it’s been good you can add 3 players

2nd grade learning games. I love this I’m about to go to 2nd grade I’m learning to much I’ll know what and how to solve hard stuff in 2nd grade I recommend this to everyone going to 2nd grade

Not good. I paid three times for the free trial and it didn't recognize my email to log in or my purchase but I had a confirmation of my purchase sent to the same email, very frustrating and a waste of my time. They can take my money but not recognize that I paid.

Splash math. Only half the sound works. Stating the problem only, character sound isn’t working when the child gets the answer right or wrong.

It will not work…..😕. This is good learning game but I was on the first level and I left the first level then I tried to get back to it but it said I had to PAY and I’m only 7 years old so I’m not going to pay and my parents will not let me so I’m going to delete it ☹️

Makes Maths Fun. My 7yo loves this app, finishes quickly and says its so easy. Would be great to extend to all facets of grade 2 maths that is expected in the classrooms.

Fantastic App. My girls love this App, especially when they earn crabs as rewards for their aquarium. It is really helping with their reading as well & they like the variety of questions. Great for parents to also get a better understanding of how Maths is taught at school now versus 30+ years ago.

Miss. The app is very good and a helpful tool to use in children's learning. It uses colourful designs and interesting learning strategies that help motivate students to understand concepts and solve both word and numerical problems easily. The use of colour and sound effects also help students remain interested in the learning process.

Splash Math 2. My kids love this app and the whole series. My 5 year old has advanced to maths two grade levels up by using this series if apps. I love the e-mail progress reports.

Learning. It is a good learning tool with varied activities that are appropriate to the curriculum.

Incorrect charge. I downloaded this app to look how it is and i didn’t want to subscribe. Somehow it appears in my subscription and I couldn’t take it. I tried to take it from my subscription page then I noticed they have charged for multiple transactions from my bank account. Once I informed this to Apple they credited me some of the payments. But still Splashlearn have to pay me $229.99. I tried so many times but they refused to pay me. It’s something wrong with the app. Very disappointed.

Not free!! Expensive subscription service!!. It’s fine to have a subscription service but don’t trick people into downloading an educational app for their child by saying its “free” then charging like a wounded bull to actually use the program. I let my disappointed 7 year old do her free 10 questions then deleted it and found a more honourable app who weren’t shady.

Don't waste time- trap. You can't trial it out , without committing to pay. They start charging after your month is over , but you already agreed to pay.

Beware.. you cannot get refunded once the. Signed up for trail of kindergarten math, Unable to cancel subscription. Emailed support but they won’t help and asked me to cancel through iTunes. They didn’t refund my money for something I never used. They don’t care of their customers. If they didn’t cancel & refund, could have atleast provided access to kindergarten stuff. Looks like that’s their standard reply for all refund requests. Not a bit helpful. They are happy once the trial finishes and one is charged. Very unhappy customer here.

Very helpful for summer review. We've purchased splash math for two summers in a row now for our daughter to review her math skills before the coming year. She finds it fun, and likes the games. We like that if she has missed some concepts during the year she is caught up and ready for the next grade. The price is a bit high for an app, but when you consider the price of one tutoring session, it doesn't seem so high!

I love this App. My daughter can do a couple minutes of math every day at home and earn coins to fill her fish tank. I love that it emails you a progress report. The only thing I would change is on the quick addition I would like the questions to switch direction from on top of each other to side by side.

This app is great!. My little sister doing this app and she's really good and like's it a lot. I find much better then many other math apps for a number of reason's. Also I love the open variety of math, difficulty settings and E-mail reports.

Upgrade too expensive. Great math practice for my children. Keeps them coming back for more! I don't like the 20 question per day limit, and the upgrade package price is too high. Would like it more if it were less expensive.

Splash math grade 2. I think this app is fantastic! My daughter really enjoys playing and getting some fantastic math practice.

Don’t upgrade!. The upgrade doesn’t work! Also can’t use unless on-line. Message “Please wait while we fetch all your games on this device” message for hours. I have a few more aps with them, they all work and I’m ignoring the update message.

Prodigy is better. You don’t have to pay and it works much better

Run around headache. I’ve messaged the owners of this app multiple times. I paid for this app in February and have not been able to get access. They assure me they’re not frauds or scam artists, but I see no evidence of such claims. I’d actually like a refund with interest and am growing more frustrated by the day them trying to come across like they’re trying to fix the issues but I’m in no way tangibly closet to having my kids be able to use this app.

Not a good game unless you pay money. First off it asks for your name second it’s asking you for money so I would not buy it

You forgot multiplication. The thing is you forgot multiplication you learn that in 2nd grade so that’s one thing you forgot 😐

App keeps closing. Every time I click on the choice between use for classroom or home (doesn’t matter which), it automatically closes the app. 👎🏻

Misleading. The description could have warned about purchasing a subscription BEFORE I went through the whole process and filling in my info. This app makes you pay. Very deceptive and shoddy of them.

Free trial (for five seconds, then $$$). First requires an email address, then give you 5 free questions. After that, you must purchase a subscription. I'd be happy to pay he a good math app, but 5 questions in exchange for my personal info is shameful. Avoid.
