Constant ads every 10 seconds. Unusable

Broken app. Fix your app its stuck on the “load”

Too many ads!!. Literally impossible to use with all the pop ups. It takes 10x longer to use this than to just google what your looking for.

Infested with ads. Their latest updates has literally made ads pop after few clicks. Simultaneous conversion from 1 currency to other 3 feature has also been taken away. Plenty of other decent apps out that are free and less ads intrusive. Uninstalled.

Easy to Use. Easy to compare multiple rates

So many ads!!!. I downloaded this app because I will be traveling to Korea soon. Within the first 60 seconds of using it there were two long video ads for games that I couldn’t click out of for a while. Then when I could I had to watch additional video before I had to click a second time to get out of the ad. Update: I tried to continue using this app, and this happened five times!! Every time I tried to do anything at all I got an ad. Scam.

Ads ads and more ads. So many ads it’s not worth it. Just use google and save your time.

Don’t get. Has pornography. Rather than being a converter it was pornography

Too many ads. In my humble (not) opinion, there's nothing that's more infuriating than starting to type an amount you need converted right away and getting 2 ads back-to-back. It's almost disrespectful. I uninstalled.

Free is a waste of time 🤬. this app says it has some ads to help pay for it but the reality is there’s more ads than app. I could not even use the app due to all of the pop-up ads. If you’re looking for a free app look elsewhere. If you don’t mind paying for an app this may be worthy of your time. It seemed fairly easy to use.

TOO MANY ADS!. The ads are for 30 seconds every conversion and this app is NOT worth it!

Insufferable ads. I travel extensively. Used to be my go to currency exchange app. I understand ads for using a free app but make Currency+ ads have gotten so insufferable and difficult to “X” close that I’m trying other apps.

Useless since full upgrade. Upgraded and now can’t get Conversion like I did before upgrade. What’s going on why my screen just keeps blacking out??

What was once great is now no longer the case... This app is horrible. It was a great tool that I used a lot a long time ago but now has nothing but adds.

Quick & Easy. I have found this app very easy you use with calculations being done instantly, not requiring me to select “calculate”. I work in small remote countries but have always found the currency I’ve needed. I recently encountered a cessation of service. When contacted, the developer responded within minutes and had already identified an issue external to his company and offered a work-around beta version which works excellently. Very responsive and accurate...I can’t ask for more!

Vital App. For expats. Simple to use and logical format.

Went from useful to useless. Had the app for several years and it worked very well but now there are all these pop up ads that not only are annoying, but reset that you are trying to calculate amounts. I had to hit calculator every time one of these popped up. Also, trying to determine pounds to US dollars and it would not stop putting the amount in Euros. Deleting app from iPhone as soon as I finish typing this. A talking dog app is more useful.

Crazy amount of ads. Deleted this app QUICK! I don’t have time to watch 2 ads every time I want to do some quick math.

Too difficult. Needed something quick but this was not it! It's too complicated

Too many ads within a short amount of time. The app did put a disclaimer that it has ads.... But it didn't em9hasize how after pressing or imputing an amount. You would hit by an ad..I was trying to add the currency....AD,, finally added it. Decided to remove the Japanese yen currency that comes installed automatically....AD .....had to wait for the AD to go away. Finally remove the Japanese currency. Then I input an amount of $$, that I wanted to compare to USD and another AD. Since I installed the app to the time that I did all of this. Was about 3 min and I didn't enjoy the ADs, I think it's overkill. I deleted the app immediately.

Run! Many better options.. This app was great 5+ years ago, but now it plays ads every other keystroke and hides the tab to close the ads. There are MANY better options available now.

The best. Using currency app has saved me so many times in different countries. I would say it’s a must when traveling!

Great job but ADS ARE EVERY 30 seconds.. The app itself does a great job but literary every 30 seconds there is an ad. So freaking annoying and inconsiderate with the consumer. Deleted it within 2 minutes.

Please fix it!. I love this app, but for the last month or so it’s been stuck on loading, every time I press the refresh circle button. It’s not refreshing to the get current rates.

Uninstalled. I removed this app so quick as soon as I saw a bunch of ads. The developer wants you to pay to remove ads. I’d recommend you find another app that is also a lot more user friendly and an app that doesn’t crash like this one does.

So many ads. Only let’s up have up to 4 different currencies. So many ads

Waste of time. So unintuitive that I have to keep clicking around, and every 2 clicks you get another ad. Ugly UI too

Terrible. Too many adds blocking the view, very annoying. Wouldn’t mind to pay for upgraded version, but never from this app. Do not get this!

Do not buy. I bought this app to avoid the adds. I can’t even use it without it transferring me to local apps.. garbage!

more like an add generator. App was great for the few seconds I got to use it between adds. I would have kept it if there weren't so many adds that olayed.

Trash. Can’t use bc ads pop up like crazy!. Hot trash. Ads while you’re typing. Ads before you hit enter. Ads while it’s converting. Ads when it’s done!! TRASH!! You will watch 4 ads before you get one conversion!

Fixed Issues. In the latest version, it seems like the developer has fixed the issues with audio book pausing as well as other issues.

Too many ads pop up. Way too many ads pop up , especially when your in the moment trying to see how much you owe, to make sure you don’t get ripped off, etc. plus it’s not 100% accurate

Too many ads. In the past this has always been my go to app for doing currency conversions. However now every time you try to use it an ad has to play first. Makes it hard to use and way more time consuming than it needs to be

Trash. Ads literally every 5-10 seconds. Don’t bother, look up the conversions on the web.

Awful. Makes you watch an ad every time you access app!. Every time you use the app to convert money, it makes you watch an ad. Not once in a while, but always. Do a calculation, watch an ad. Do another, wait thru another ad. Deleted it with 5 minutes of using. Total waste.

Terrible. If you want to see every ad ever made, download this app. If not, steer clear Way better ones out there

Way too many Ads. Too many Ads even after I paid for no ADs way too many.

To many ads. I would go with another app. This app generated an app pop up almost every 20 seconds. Not worth it.

Buy again?. I already bought the upgrade in 2012 and suddenly there are ads and I don’t get the functionality that I paid for, and am asked to pay again for the upgrade.

A Travelers Must. The converter App is a tool that all travelers need, it provides an instant currency conversion information when one needed it most. So, as they say “Don’t leave home without it.”

Bad ads. Really, the ads are bad, really really bad. It’s not just some that show up in he corners. Ads pop up every few seconds. Nice sneaky way to get you to tap them accidentally. Honestly wish Apple would just drop “free” apps from their store as such a thing no longer exists.

Great App. I use this app while traveling. Recently upgraded to get rid of advertisements and get the full benefit of the app. I highly recommend for anyone who travels internationally!!

Calculator doesn’t work. So, it’s annoying to use if you need to use the calculator. Otherwise, it’s alright. Lots of ads, though...

Functionally ok. Not the greatest or most intuitive tool around but ok for occasional use. I used it at most a dozen times a year at most. I’ve deleted it today from my device. The commercials have gotten to the point where this tool is useless. I understand that you guys need to make some money and nothing is free, and I downloaded it with that expectation. Today I cannot do anything remotely useful due to the continuous pop us that hijack my screen. Frankly I know how to do this stuff as well without an ap, so it’s gone for good.

Not what it used to be. I have had this app for many years and worked great until they installed worthless ads/games. Having a loud obnoxious ad pop up when trying to convert money anywhere is more than annoying. I have deleted the app

Too many ads now!. Used to be good, but now keeps popping up video ads every few seconds which uses your data and stops you from being able to convert anything. I am now deleting this app and looking for a better replacement.

Not updating. Getting sick and tired of app freezing last time it updated was 2 nd of August

Instant data. This AP gives you a conversion instantly. Just put In your currency once after that converts prices of something immediately and can work like a calculator as well. Have been using it my whole trip.

Excellent app. Recently travelled to UK and mainland Europe. This app allowed us to know what things would really cost before we got back home and credit card statements came in.

Currency Exchange. I love this app. User-friendly and very efficient. Used it all the time on a recent foreign holiday. However, it also is very useful when I'm at home and quickly want to check various currencies.

Useful comparisons. Unlike some converters, this one shows the comparative values of up to 5 currencies of your choice at the same time which is very useful. Very good app, and even the free version is well worth having.

Currency conversion app. Just like your passport, don't go overseas without this brilliant tool! Such a valuable asset on your mobile.

Not to bad. The user interface is great and colorful. Tw graph function however is not very easy. When selecting a point near the end of the graph it tends to "fall off" the graph instead of select the last data point. A pull down refresh function would also be easier than the small refresh button. All in all a pretty good app. Just a few tweaks and it would be great!

Y bother?. Every few seconds you get a pop up to an advertising screen. I understand it is a free app, but every few seconds? XE app is simpler, allows up to 10 currencies instead of the 4 this app allows before asking for you to upgrade for $2.49 and is easier to use and is also free, No contest for me.

Quick and Easy. I work in NZ and live in Australia. i am paid in aussie dollars and constantly need to check conversion prices on airfares etc comparing australian and NZ prices. I also use it at the currency exchange counter when exchanging australian dollars to new zealand. Its instantaneous once i punch in the local value i see the australian equivalent immediately. Very easy to use and one on the most frequently used apps on my iphone out and about or on my ipad at my desk at work. Great job !

Basic but seems to work.. Works but convoluted interface and not enough flexibility in basic version at least. Not even sure it's accurate as can't know where they are getting their rates from?

Ridiculous adds. On the free version the adds takeover the whole screen every time you enter a value. Never used to do this on earlier versions.

Easy to use. This app (I have purchased all the upgrades) provides good basic exchange rate information with historical charts. It retains rate values when offline and allows easy conversion for specific currency amounts. Screens are uncluttered and intuitive.

Quick and easy. I'm planning OS trip this year and have been buying currency so check rates often. Use to convert fares etc for the 4 currencies i will be using to AUD so I can add to my budget spreadsheet. Will use when I'm away to calculate real cost of purchases. Brilliant.

Upgrade is a scam. Chose this app andI also purchased the upgrade for the historical data and trends. Neither work on my 2019 iPad 3. Upgrade is a scam. Widget conversion is also not actually a direct conversion but a comparison of how much 1 of your your base currency is required to buy 1 of other currency. Won’t show a direct conversion. Annoying and unnecessarily confusing. Do not waste your money.

Great App!. I particularly like that I can be anywhere in the world and can, at a glance, see the equivalent exchange in my own currency and local currency. It is very helpful and makes my banking needs a lot easier!

Currency. I have just travelled across the UK, the continent which included using the Euro, UK pound and the Czech Crown. I loved being able to convert the currency at any time. Great app.

Not working. I bought this app but it will NOT show the exchange rate. It doesn’t matter what currency you put on the upper line - the second currency on the second line is always a zero. No help whatsoever when you want to know how your dollar is doing against another currency

Good but needs big fixes. The app is useful but unfortunately buggy. Whenever you press the charts screen, there's a crash bug (without premium). Once you're in this state you can no longer load the app. Fix this please.

Good App but don't do the in-app purchase. Good and useful app overall but beware...the in app purchase will not go across all your devices and you have to buy it for each one. Buy the Apple store full app for universal coverage.

Excellent Tool. Simple, easy to understand, it really helps me out when I visit MX....pop it out and I know how much in US in seconds...would highly recommend!! Would like to see it available for the iPad too

Wonderful!. I purchased on my first trip to Mexico. It was very useful bc we never exchanged currency. But we noticed that vendors were providing price in pesos and USD but they were not equal. Unfortunately, we were charged an additional $5 or short changed in pesos multiple times. So I started converting to pesos and paying the equivalent in USD. But next time I'll have pesos!

Thank You!. Very good app. It has saved me a lot of time already. I'm in the U.K. at the moment but live in the U.S. so am not familiar with British pounds. This app has been a real blessing by helping me to figure out costs. The history function on the upgrade is a big help as well. Highly recommend.

Functional, easy to use. This allows you to see 4 free currencies at a time, which means you do not have to go thru the step 'from- to' like in XE converter. It helps if there is some instruction at the start to put your currency on the list if it's not on the existing display, unless you are guided for a tour for upgrades. My favorite so far!

EASY. Visiting for first time in Okinawa and was baffled by their currency. Came upon this site while searching for a currency converter...didn't go any further after finding this one...so easy to use!

Fantastic for avid travelers. I'm fortunate to be able to travel often to many different countries and this app has been a godsend. I'm lousy at remembering conversions and now, thanks to Currency +, I don't have to.

Hard pass. Wayyyyy too many ads.

Everything I need. I live overseas so exchange rates are important. This app does it exactly what I need it to do. I am able to quickly look at my relevant rates when I get up in the morning. I did purchase the app so I do not have issues with ads. Excellent program and the graphs to show how rates have been trending are a huge help.

Works ok but needs data plan or wifi. Works fine but I have an iPod with limitations to Internet connections. It sometimes freaks out and the app will revert to having every currency 1=1. It corrects itself only if I connect to wifi and i refresh. But when I need it, I'm usually on the road. I'd try something that doesn't need wifi all the time if you are limited to Internet connections.

Migra99. I frequently buy books from England. Even used it once for Sweden. Very handy and easy to use for conversion information. Very highly recommend this app.

Not updating currencies. Useless if it's not updating. Says zero for everything.

Excellent and accurate. I used this because I was going to Italy and it performed very well. It was easy for me to keep to my budget and keep track of what I was spending. I recommend this to anyone who is planning on traveling. It even has a calculator which is very useful when you want to stick to a tight budget like me!

Help. I need help .This app saw that no data .

Best currency program. This is the best. Why? It lets you set up your currencies of interest and limits your view to those few. If you enter a value it shows it in ALL the currencies of interest. Also you can easily go in either direction-- from dollars or to dollars without a lot of rearranging.

Love this app!!!!! ... BUT. A MUST have on both iPad and iPhone. Best currency converter EVER. Can see conversion for multiples currencies at a time, fast and no crashing vs other apps that restrict you. The ADs are visible but non-intrusive. Very easy to use. WHY have the number of favorite currencies been reduced to 4? That's not a good move especially bad for frequent travelers. I'm checking out replacement apps now unless you take it back to 5.

Fast, easy to use - the perfect currency app!. I travel internationally about once ever 6 weeks and do business all over the world. As my clients are all in different counties (with different currencies) this app has allowed me to calculate various financials a LOT more quickly and accurately. I'm so glad I have it and would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a simple, easy to use and complete currency app!

Convenient. This app is useful and convenient: Nice and easy and good. I'm not a currency trader so I don't know how it would be for one of those. For me it does everything I want, no problems.

Project Management/ Budget creation and travel. As a Global Project Manager, Currency+ is an indispensable tool on the go. Whether creating budgets that take into account pricing and vendor quotes in many currencies or just checking the daily exchange rate on the fly, the app is user friendly and priced to buy.

Warning: pass on this if you are a tourist. While the app does what it promises, it is not really meant for the casual traveler. It has 2 big flaws that made it unusable for me. First- it updates online. When I am traveling, my phone is not online. Second, I do not want those up-to-the minute money values used for my currency. I need to be able to set my own values based on what I paid for the currency. If i run out of the money i ordered from the bank, i need to change it to what i got put of the atm. Now, to be fair, if you are a frequent traveller, this would be an amazing app, but pass on it if you are a tourist.

Great App. I was in the airport in India for a 12 hour layover and no real sense of the value of local currency. All I needed was a sandwich, but shops didn't take plastic. Since I didn't have any Indian rupees, I figured I could make it a few more hours without food. Then the vendor said they could take US$. But he could not cash a $20. I happened to have a €20, which was also too big, but he could deal with a £5 note. I don't travel enough to have a good sense of different currencies. This app was priceless.

Great for Traveling Internationally. This app is great when traveling to a different country. It let's you know the exchange rate and keep you from being taken advantage of. I travel internationally and I recommend this app to anyone who travels to different countries.

Nice interface!. This app works very well and is easy to use. It has a fantastic interface. I send money in euros on a regular basis and this app allows me to watch the rate and even set alarms when the rate goes below a certain point

Always works!. This App is well thought out and so easy to use. Living in a new country, all I need to do when I see something interesting in this country's currency, is tap on this App, enter the among and I immediately know if it's a bargain, since I now know the price in my home currency. I love this App.

Great APP. Just downloaded this APP and began using right away as I am in Kuwait for two weeks. Had a question of the developer, Jim Spencer, and contacted him through the HELP feature and heard back from him within a half hour. That's great customer service. With the full upgrade I am looking forward to unlimited currencies and historical features as well. Very pleased with every aspect of this APP.

Excellent App. Quick and easy to set up and use. Does everything promised, what more could you ask for. As a plus it works with or without an Internet connection, although one is needed to get the daily exchange rates. Do that before you go out and you're in great shape.

Update. App will not update-useless

Great app. I used this to convert Dollars to Pesos during a trip to Mexico. I was pleased with how easy I could switch back and forth between the two currencies. It works as advertised and made me a little less lost during my trip.

A terrific app!. One of the handiest apps I have! I do business around the world and the ability to easily and quickly convert currencies is must. The user interface is just great!

The Best Currency App. First of all this is free, I use it all the time , the best thing is I can see few different currency at the same time! I been using it for a while, had recommended to many friends, they all like it! Easy to use too!

Lags too much. Nice, but lags too much to real time currency quotes. Also does not show me actual TIME of an update, just the date. No way to adjust how often the rate is refreshed. The Today Widget does do a nice job and is very handy but in my job I need to have a refresh of at least every 30 minutes. So, nice app for a traveler, but missing features I need.

Love the app but must I write a review for each update. I would give the app a solid five review and have done so at least twice previously. It seems that the prompt for review resets with the updates. That is unfortunate. I do like and use the app. If you travel, you should too.

Fast program. Having used this app for the last 6 weeks daily it is very fast and reliable. I seemed to have difficulties using its calculator, it never worked for me so I simy don't use it. Exchange rates- very good program with quick info on rates

Sewpossible4u. Awesome app. Just returned from Peru where I USED THIS APP EVERYDAY!!! The one thing it did not do, is give me what the lowest exchange rate was, which varied from Money Exchange Place to Place. It took some searching to find the lowest rate. Then I had to, calculate the RATE x THE PRICE, which was no big deal! The other thing to remember is to haggle the price! NEVER PAY THE ACTUAL PRICE IN THE OPEN MARKETS!!! But overall I LOVE THIS APP!❤️❤️❤️❤️

Really handy. Took this on a trip where I had to manage five currencies. Very handy, quick, short learning curve. One thing to watch for: if you have no connection to the server, it can reset values of everything to '1.' So, it will claim one dollar is equal to one ruble is equal to one euro. Not good, but fairly obvious if you're experienced with currencies.

Awesome App!. This is very convenient and easy to work with. I love having my iPad work as a functional computer offline and this is just one more way of making that possible. Wonderful software. Thanks so much to the developer.

Trend. Currency trend& historical data won’t work. Paid $5 for this function.

Retired. My husband and I live part time in Scotland and part time in the US. I use this app all the time and find it useful and easy to use. It is quite accurate. We've traveled from India to Japan and all over Europe and love being able to convert currency exchange rates between several different country currencies.

ads👎🏽. i paid for the app a few year back, add worked great for a while. used it the other day and had multiple ads pop up non stop. hate it

None. This application is very easy to understand and is very user-friendly. I would recommend this app for anyone traveling overseas. I would also recommend it for military personnel also.

Currency converter. This app was great! Recently traveled the Baltics through Swedish and Danish krona, Russian rubles and euros and was able to set up all at once for easy reference to USD at a moments notice; no more guessing how much I was really spending! Would not travel without this!

One task - does it great!. It's a currency converter, no more, no less. I don't want a calculator or other bells and whistles. The historical data (paid upgrade) is nice to see conversion trends over your trip. Yes, you have to manually hit refresh to get new prices. To me, this is a feature, not a bug. When I'm overseas, data is expensive. I'm happy to tell the app to pull new prices infrequently. Also, it's worth paying to turn off ads if you're on a limited data plan overseas.

Excellent App. I live in the U.S. I am constantly purchasing items online from the U.K., Europe, Japan, and Australia. This is by far the best app that I have found to convert foreign currency to U.S dollars. I highly recommend paying $1.99 to upgrade to the full version. Not only does the upgrade remove the bothersome ads, but it also gives you six additional extras.

Ads made this app go from Great to Awful. I have used this free app for years and it was really great until recently. Now every time when you start a conversion a video ad pops up. Most of the time you must wait 5s before skipping the ad and continuing with your conversion. If you have the volume on, the ad's noise can be very disruptive. This is a sad example where the developer ruins a good product for the sake of advertisement and to generate extra revenue. However, a different business model should be employed in order not to lose all of your users. There are better free options available with less intrusive advertising such as XE Currency.
