Great app!. I love this app. Just made my first list, and I love how it keeps track of how much it will cost. This is just the free version that I'm using now. I think that it will even let save coupons etc. you can send you list via text or email. I'm planning to purchase the pro version in the future.

Really bad.... I download the free version and all I can say is WOW! And that's not a good thing. I have a free grocery list app that I normally use but I got this one to check out the budget feature, which I can't do unless I purchase it. So really this app is worse than the one I actually have because at least with the other app I can use all the features and not get charged for them.

Amazing shopping list app. Simply love this app! I manage all my expiration dates and helps me save so much money. Hardly waste anything these days. My all time favorite app and works wonderfully on my iPhone 6.

Upgrade info requested. If I upgrade to the $2.99 version will i lose my list created in the free app? Is it possible to email/text partial lists for my hubby to pick up on his way home. Seems all I can do with the free version is send my entire listing. The Shopping List I paid $2.99 for keeps crashing and with no word from Apple for a fix have moved on the this app.

Good app but misleading. This app has all the features I want. However, you have to pay for the individual features that ate so appealing or you're left with a rather bland app. I think you should just be honest and ask for the price you want rather than charging for something as basic as clearing the shopping list. Good app, bad marketing.

Great, could use tweaking. I've tried a LOT of grocery apps & this seems to be the best of the bunch. Still not as nice as my computer-based Splashshopper (their app is rotten) with regards to certain functions, but the more I use it, the better I like it. Here's what else is great: if u contact the creators, they seem genuinely interested in what you have to say and respond positively. I've even had them utilize a suggestion or two of mine. Really, an app is only as good as its customer service, and theirs is great. Definitely worth having.

Great App. Great app I can use Siri to write down what I want. Categorize the items by the location in the store. Check the items off and leave. Nothing is simpler. Again great app.

No longer works. I have used this app for a number of years, being able to create multiple lists for the different stores I shop. I could make my list on my iPad at home, upload it to Dropbox (required), and download to my phone when I went shopping. All of a sudden I’m getting an error when I try to load/download from Dropbox, getting a “general 400” error message. I’ve tried contacting Decimal Software for a resolution, and have received no response. I’m now looking for another app. Not happy, since I’ll have to enter all my lists again!

Could be better. This app would be great if it actually took into account the coupons. It totals the actual and sales amount; however, if there is a coupon attached, it doesn't deduct it from your subtotal. Therefore, you would have to complete the calculations on your own.

Waste of time. Unless, of course, you want to spend money on a "free" app, I'm willing to purchase those apps I find useful, but with so many apps out there, and most that are just variations on a theme, I always try to pick up the light version, if it exists. Well with this app I couldn't even get it to make the list, let alone put any items on it. It's because I have in app purchases turned off, and it wouldn't create the list without the Budget option, even though I had budgets turned off in the settings. I tried to go to their website to see if I was doing something wrong, and no matter how I put it, my query was not found in their database. My recommendation, don't waste your time on it!

great app for groceries. I use this all the time for groceries, saves me so much time and money. Love Expiration Manager and Budget Manager. Really well designed that I got started right away. One of the best apps out there!

❤ awesome app!. best shopping list for iPhone! I use it all the time when doing the groceries. They did a good job designing this app for folks like me who struggled with most apps being too complicated. My husband loves the backup/restore feature, he helps create the list on his iPad and I can download it on the iPhone when I am out shopping.

Disappointed. Great app until you try to uncheck something when you buy it. Then try tell you that you have to purchase the full version. You can delete the item but then you have to start over the next time. So it defeats the aisle manager and all the other perks.

Do not buy this app!. I've never done an app review before. I was really excited to find this app. It looked great but everything I click on is an "additional feature" that I need to pay another .99 cents for. I pretty much bought every feature and it still doesn't do what I thought it would. I feel like I've been tricked.

Good app but text still too large. This app makes shopping quick because I can make my list match the layout of the store. Text is still too large--can only see 3 items at a time. Also, like the share feature, but it needs to be shareable in purchase format & nit just alphabetical.

Great App!. Perfect for keeping track of any type of list you are making, and the budget feature is really helpful. Also, I had sent an email about how to sync my devices and it literally was answered in no time! For a free purchase, this app does everything I need and a bit more :)

Awesome app and awesome customer support!. I had been using a different shopping list app until the iPhone iOS 6 update came along. At that point my app would no longer work. I tried twice contacting the developer, but they would not respond. So I searched the App Store and decided to try this one. I had some questions about problems I was having with it so emailed Decimal, and they responded in less than 15 minutes! They told me what I needed to know, and have since emailed again to let me know the latest update was now available! I am so glad the other app crashed. This shopping list app is absolutely amazing! It is perfect for keeping my lists organized and for making my grocery shopping efficient! I have it set up to go with the aisles in my favorite grocery store, and when I walk in the door of that store, my list takes me through the store with zero backtracking! I have separate lists set up for a few stores I shop regularly. A great feature is that no matter how many lists you have items on, until you have checked all items off, the home screen icon on your phone shows you how many total I purchased items are on lists. So you can't forget to pick something up, even if its in a different store list than the one for your main grocery shopping! One more time I want to restate what wonderful customer service comes with this app! You simply can't go wrong with this one!

best out there! 🔥. This is a great shopping list app for an active big family. My wife prepares the list on her iPad and we restore the latest list using Cloud Manager on our iPhone 4S when we are in the store. The app remembers what I checked off even after powering off and on the phone. Also very useful for the holidays, I created a Christmas Gift list and added the gifts I needed to buy for everyone. Very stable app and I do not worry about losing the shopping lists we created since I have the database backed up on the cloud. They have released a lot of new features for this app and I look forward to their next update! 👍

great support!. For a free app, the support has been great! I had a question about applying the discount price instead of the regular price, and they got back to me in a few days with a very honest answer. And guess what, they added that feature almost right after I chat with them! I now use this app exclusively and have been chatting with them about what I would like to see the app do next. The budget manager and list manager is very useful and my favorite color is Forest Green and Ocean Blue!!

👍👍 best shopping list app out there!. Tried many freebies, they usually have a item or list limit. This app seems to have no limit on the number of lists and items I can create, so I kept using it as a simple list. Recently purchased the Budget Manager and List Manager, loving the app! Keep up the good work and free updates!!!

Live off this app. If you're a list maker, this is the app for you! Love I can go through my lust every week and reselect the same items I need. And then just check them off when done. Easy to use. Highly recommend.

Not even close.. If the free version is no good why would I buy the upgrade? I was looking for a shopping list that uses full screen pictures to aid shopping. I already use some pretty good free shopping list apps. The user interface and workflow are to complex. I can see there is a photo for an item, but I can only see the image if I edit the item? Weird.

Totally customizable. I love this app because you can make different lists for different stores, and organize it by isle. No more wandering around the store a million times when you forget things on the other side of the store

What’s the point?!?. Have you ever been shopping? This is not a useful app. You forced me to buy the add-on budget app but they don’t seem to work together. There’s no way to see the total amount of the list as you build it. That’s the point of a budget. Why go to a grocery store if you have no idea if you can afford to buy the groceries until you’re at the check out? EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING

I love this app :D. I cannot explain how I much I love this app it's super great I use it every week to go food shopping or really just any kind of shopping it adds everything up so I know how much I need to spend an I just keep everything in the list so I know a general amount of what I will be spending in the store each week which is good cause I have a budget lol :) it's really great once you get use to it cause it does take a bit of learning to use but it's still a really fantastic app :) 5 stars all the way :)

It gets the job done. I love that I can enter weights as values, and can estimate exactly how much I'll spend on my next grocery trip. As long as I know the price per pound, which I have from my receipts, it's very accurate. I think it would be helpful to be able to set up a list of most commonly purchased items, then select only the items I need for my shopping trip. I get around that by selecting auto prepare for everything, then checking off the items I don't need, which leaves me the amount not purchased, so it's really just a minor annoyance because I can still see the amount I can expect to spend. Overall a great tool for grocery budgeting!

Spacing off, but bug fixed. Thanks for fixing the bug, but I wish the spacing between lines was back to 'single spaced' or there was an option to hide the 2 nd line. I like seeing more items to a page rather than scrolling. Otherwise, I love the features and sorting. I've liked this app for over a year.

This app is my brain!. Love this app and can’t live without it! I use it for so much more than just shopping lists. I have packing lists, lists of questions for the doctor, mechanic or school, and more! The app has so many more features than I even use. Highly recommend!

Not good.. I am super disappointed by this app. It doesn't really function as it says it should. The auto populate isn't working properly. Not very user friendly and intuitive. Clunky. Can't save items and add them to your list - or at least I can't figure it out. I rarely write reviews but this was a big let down. I can't understand where the 5 star reviews are coming from.

Great list app. I love everything about this app. Not only do I have my grocery list always with me (instead of leaving it at home on the table as I often used to do), but I can make separate lists for each store where I regularly shop, just adjusting from my master list what I am out of at that time. I have also put my travel/packing list on here. It's great to have a place where I can keep all my lists together. I highly recommend this app.

use this all the time!. Does everything and more! I can easily budget my next trip, and the app reminds me when food items are about to expire. This app has saved my family so much money and we no longer fearing buying in bulk at the warehouse grocery stores. And the search feature is awesome! Only grocery list app that allows you to search for any item in any shopping lists.

Handy!. I'm certain I'm not using it to its full capacity but I like how simple it is to create lists for different stores. Easy to keep just my basic grocery list and easy to add new items. Would recommend.

cool app. Best shopping list app out there. Tried many, and ended just using this app because the app works really well when you are actually in the store shopping. Very stable, very fast, and rock solid. When I had questions, they always responded to them. Great support for a free app!

Need storage for list items. Just downloaded this and tried it today. Made my list and went shopping, added all the prices as I shopped so I would have them for future trips. Got home after checking everything off and deleted the list only to find I deleted everything I had put in out of the app completely. To make this app perfect for me everything should store in a storage area from any list and then be searched and added to the list of choice. This way the list you open doesn't have the total cost of all items you have ever put in, just the items you add. Better for seeing what your budget is at. I am hesitant to buy the full app package with out his option. Other then that a very clean and easy to use app with tons of editing ability.

WHAT THE HELL DID YOU GUYS DO!?!. This is HORRIBLE! I have significant short term memory loss; & use this app extensively! I have to go to the grocery store TOMORROW & all I can remember is what I was just about to "add" to my list. The app just simply DOES NOT OPEN! I mean it flashes open for less than a split second. I've tried deleting & re-installing it, turning my phone off & re-starting etc... PLEASE HELP!! Please UN-DO WHATEVER IT IS YOU "updated??"

Great program for shopping. I've used this product for several months now after testing many other similar products. Smart Shopping is by far the best. List can be sorted by anything you wish. The Expiration Manager is easy to use and helpful. Great budgeting tool. Most importantly is the A+ support which Decimal Software provides.

Difficult to Review. I understand app developers prefer not to see critical reviews of their apps. And yes, I have submitted these comments to the support email address as anyone with criticism should do. However, for me this app doesn't work and here's why. Understandably, as a free app it's really basic. It's also impossible to see what the added features are like without purchasing. In fact it is so basic in comparison to other apps that come in free/lite versions which offer a trial of at least the primary functions on a limited scale (e.g., an item limit on free version). This approach makes it possible to see what the paid features are and how well they are implemented. (Getting better screen shots would help somewhat in this regard.) While testing its very basic function as a grocery shopping list, I found that it does not support fractional/decimal amounts in the units. For example, I enter 0.22 lbs @ 0.99 for an item and the app zeroes out the 0.22 lbs and the actual cost of $1.36 isn't reflected in the total. I found this problem with 6 produce items out of a total of 14 that I entered from a sales receipt in testing. If this issue is fixed, I will do further testing and post an updated review. However, I'm not likely to buy any of the added features without seeing how they work first.

I can easily see who else I need to pick up a gift for and had no issues (until I upgraded to iOS 5 which they responded and fixed so quickly). This app helped me survive through the holidays! This is the only app where you will see so many new features being released. Most of my other apps is just at the same version. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more new stuff.👍👍

Multiple Uses. I don't like the $ totals at the top of the list. Please make it optional. I use this app for a packing list, trip prep list (by T- times), Rx list, magazine list (by expiration date), exercise station list, and shopping list. Only 1 of those needs $ info.

Way over complicated. Just needed a grocery list, but this app is overkill. It is too complicated just to make a simple list. Low marks for usability and looks.

Painful to use.. Some things didn't work. You can't delete things off a list, you have to start a new list and if u do that you lose any aisle information you've set up in the other list.

Need to buy Budget Manager!. In order to use the budget section of this app you need to purchase a budget manager app for $1.19. I know that $1.19 isn't very much but when I purchase an app for free I don't expect to have to actually spend money to be able to use it otherwise it isn't really a free app!!

Selling tool. Rubbish. Full of in-app purchases. First 'free' function I tried resulted in a pop up to confirm my purchase.

So far so good. Relatively easy to input. Fairly straight forward layout. So far worth the money spent... Some fields are a bit too much but all in all pretty cool

Budget doesn't work. I specifically got this app (and paid extra for the budget manager module) so that I could track purchases on a list against the list budget - and it doesn't work! As I check off items on the list, the remaining budget figure does not change. Needs an update to fix this major problem.

Reliable app!. This app helps me keep track of my money so that I don't overspend. Also, it has lots of useful functions which are simple to use! My personal favourite is the Expiration Manager! It prevents me from consuming rotten and expired goods. Thumbs up! =D

alright. Doesn't group items by type (meat, veg...) and with all the in app purchases could get expensive. I prefer a free version with full functionality but limied numbers (eg. # lists) so I can really decide if I want to pay for it or not. Gonna use something else.

Crash crash crash crash!!. New update is horrible!! The app doesn't even launch. It crashes immediately! I loved using this app to track my coupons, now I want nothing to do with it!

Not what I expected. Unfortunately on a limited budget I did not expect to have to buy each list separately in the free app. It is back to paper and pencil it is still cheaper than the $2.99.

It's great. I like this app, the only thing is they should have something like were you shop and how much things are going to cost, the thing is food prices are always changing so I don't really blame them...

Has great potential!. I have just started to use this free version for managing a shopping list of materials for a home renovation. It's an app that runs very smoothly and has not crashed as yet. I'm using an iPod Touch 4th gen. I wish I could have some of the features available in the Pro version to realize its full potential. One of a few apps a actually find useful. Hope they do enhance this free version to convince me to upgrade to the Pro.

Like it but they aren't too honest.... I like the ease of use & the app but they buckle & dime you death! I paid $2.99 for (supposedly) the upgrade features. Then paid another $0.99 for no ads. Another $0.99 for the pink skin. What the heck did I pay the $2.99 for then!?!

Not happy!. Loved this app until I updated to OS5, now it doesn't work! Lists open, but cannot be added to. Completely useless. The only reason I put even 1star was that review wouldn't post unless I had.

Good For Those on a Budget.... But I am a couponer and the coupons are not at all taken into consideration for the final total. Implement an accurate way to use coupons and then 5 stars.

....Free = Money. Unless you plan on spending money... I wouldn't download this App. Everything you try to do in this App. will want you to spend money. If you want a free one, there are better ones out there that will do basically the same thing.

Good but needs organization. I like how it keeps track of the dollar amounts but it sorts items alphabetically instead of by category. Grocery lists need to be categorized to save time

Free app.... Not happy about the free app. Have to buy options. All this app lets you do is create shopping list and check items off as u shop. Took a picture of an item and cannot view the picture! Probably would be a good app if u were willing to purchase all the bells and whistles it has to offer...

So so. I really like the budget feature, but hate that you can't reorder your list once entered so you can group items by aisle. Also enhanced list mgmnt is useless.

Waste of time. Unfortunately, this app is not free as advertised. Once I downloaded it and proceeded to make my first list, almost every button I clicked on promoted me to buy another $.99 app within the app. So this app is actually $5 if you want the full benefit from it. My vote? Don't waste your time, I'd rather use the Notepad provided by Apple.

Floating ads. I have been using this app for quite a while. Initially I liked it. However recently they have started putting a floating ad in the middle of the page which I hate.

Love it. Well done, easy to use, simple interface if that's all you want or tons of detail if that's your thing. Houses my BJ's list, Shoprite, Lowes and Target. Word of caution....make sure to back it up once in a while because there is is no auto backup. My phone took a swim last year and never made it back. (Neither did my lists 😔) One of my most used apps!

Not worth it. I downloaded the app, filled out my list for groceries for Thanksgiving dinner. When I got to the store the app crashed every time I tried to look at my list. Thank goodness I ave a good memory. I only forgot 5 items.

Two major issues. I was disappointed to have paid for this and several in-app add ons, only to learn that it doesn't meet my needs. There are two major issues: 1. The shopping cart can't be emptied so you cannot accurately track you spending on each shopping trip without deleting the prices from each item individually. 2. The items you enter don't back up to any kind of database, so everything has to stay in your list or be deleted and re-entered next time. So my quest to find a shopping list app continues...

Deceptive in-app purchase list. Good app. In-app offerings lead one to believe each purchase is an upgrade in turn. In fact one can skip the first few offerings and buy Pro version which is all inclusive. The thief replied quickly to my email, refusing refund of $1.98.

Update no good.. I tried to update and I was told that "the item you are trying to buy is no longer available."

Crashes in iOS5. was working OK in previous version. Under iOS5 I can create a list but can't add any items to it. Makes it hard (impossible) to use

So far...interesting. It's an ok app...some things are confusing like the A-Z and the purchased button...they do the same thing and the tax doesn't calculate or let me put in the amount if tax for that matter It will do for now....

APP KEEPS CRASHING!!. I uploaded the latest and greatest and it keeps crashing! I keep all kinds of grocery lists for different stores on this app and I absolutely love it and use it all the time. So this was a real problem this weekend. Had to resort to the old pen and paper! #firstworldproblems
