No landscape for iPad. Last update a year ago.. Supporting both portrait and landscape is trivial. This makes your corporate clients look bad.

Work with Paypal. It's easy to setup and use with Paypal 2 factors authentication. Save you from having to buy the security token generation key fob or use SMS text. Just use it like the physical key fob by registering the app's serial then enter the 2 successive ID numbers that are generated every 30 seconds.

It’s 2021 — do you know where your programmers are?. Because they are not here writing nice applications for you. This app has no support for landscape mode. Really? Fire your developers and hire new ones, please. I don’t review apps much but this one really bugs me. I need to use this app for my brokerages’ 2FA, and that is really the only reason I have to put up with this sorry excuse of an app.

It does the job.... While there is not much to the app, there are a few things that can be improved upon. They advertise this as being VIP Access for iPad, yet the app does not rotate to Landscape mode. Since I use a keyboard with my iPad and when needing the VIP code I am in an app that I will be typing a lot, it does become annoying when trying to switch back to the VIP Access app. Also, as someone else pointed out, why is there not a Copy button to copy the code? While you can tap on the code to get the Copy command to pop-up, you shouldn't have to do that.

Need landscape display!. Pleas allow and make this software change.

Not a real iPad app.. Doesn’t support multitasking. Doesn’t support landscape orientation (which is required by my Apple Magic keyboard). Not a real iPad app until both of those issues are fixed. What a hassle to use this to log into a website or app that is in landscape orientation, switching to this app in fullscreen because it’s so hard to fit six digits inside a circle into a multitasking view or redraw it in landscape orientation, and switch back. What a disgusting interaction. Shame on you, Symantec, for attempting to call this an iPad app. Apple should remove this garbage from the App Store.

No Landscape. No Landscape support on an iPad app? What? Come on...

iPad app? Not at all!. This is just an iPhone app working on the iPad. Does not support iPad landscape mode and many other super basic iPad things. Symantec - you can do better than this!

LANDSCAPE!. Please!

Works ok, but. . .. Needs to work in landscape mode. To be perfect, it should be able to be in a small, floating window that I can drag to the edge of the screen and glance down at it when needed.

What year is it? It’s 2020 almost 2021. Make your IPAD app operate in Landscape mode, how out of touch do you have to be to make us rotate our iPads when we use them with a Keyboard. So out of touch with your end users.

why on earth would an ipad app only work vertically. As the title says.

Last update broke functionality. With this update it no longer works. All my VIP access tokens lost with this update.

Work as advertised. But it really should have a password to start the app. Better yet should use the Touch ID.

What in the world. A separate app for iPad!!! and it doesn’t support landscape!!! It’s 2021!

No rotation?. Screen does to rotate to landscape. You can't be serious? And you call this an "iPad" version of your app.

Doesn’t even render in landscape mode.. Deleting this immediately in favor of the iPhone app. Doesn’t even display in landscape mode, which my iPad is in 95% of the time (as is typically the case with a keyboard). At least the iPhone app is able to render properly oriented in the latest iOS 15 (with black bars on the side).

No Real iPad Version. Symantec obviously does not care about consumer reviews. Seriously, why is there no landscape? I wish my brokerage would move to any other 2FA, the VIP app has always been poorly implemented.

Landscape. MAKE A LANDSCAPE MODE !!!!

Does the job!. After reading other reviews, I installed this software token on two devices - one on my iPhone, and one on my iPad. That gives me two credential IDs. That way, if one device breaks, is lost, or replaced, I can use the second token to log into my account and deactivate the unused ID.

Why an iPad version?. Because we need to read the security code from across the conference room sometimes. :)

iPadish version. The only thing iPad about this version from the phone version is it displays to a wider screen. I use my iPad in landscape more than portrait yet this app still has no landscape display mode. That’s sort of imperative for split screen support too.

Work in progress?. The app performs the function it's supposed to - supplying a verification code for a two-factor authentication system. However, for an app with the assuring words "for iPad" right in the name, it's still nothing more than a phone app on a larger screen. The primary shortcoming is the portrait mode presentation, which cannot be changed. The app also lacks any means of providing an authentication code without being brought to the foreground. While clean and simple, it still feels like it's missing something, and is an iPhone app changed just enough to actually run on the iPad.

Of course it works....now add. 1. Simple copy button to copy the code to memory. Yes you can press your finger/stylus on the code to bring up the copy option. But, why not just add a copy button? 2. Option to have a 4-8 digit pin code to open the app. This could be enabled at the user's discretion.

Seriously people?. omg please turn on autorotate. what a pain.

Needs work. does not support portrait orientation or multi-tasking/split screen. almost impossible to use becuase of this.

Made for iPad, huh?. If it’s made for iPad, why can’t it go into landscape AND portrait mode? I have my iPad connected to a keyboard and it lays horizontally. I don’t understand why they don’t have it programmed to go in both modes. Seems like someone just didn’t care when making this app. Poorly done work and put no effort at all into it.

Only Portrait??. I just downloaded this ‘iPad version’ and it only opens in portrait mode. Having an attached keyboard on my iPad I NEVER EVER use portrait. What is the point of an iPad version without landscape? Is Symantec just that dumb? Apparently.

App fails to take advantage of iOS functionality. Three stars for doing what it advertises, but not a bit more. The app is unable to rotate, unable to display in split view, and unable to display in lay over.

Missing key features for an iPad implementation.. Only works in portrait orientation and does not show up in the split screen menu of apps. With these features Symantec VIP could be an enabler for a better mobile experience.

VIP Access not for iPad. Since this is purported to be for an iPad, it should be able to display in landscape mode. Most iPad users do not view the screen vertically.

No landscape mode. Surprising that it does not offer landscape mode as it is the “iPad” version. Seems like an easy fix...

Needs a real iPad version. Why no landscape? Wouldn’t use this app except that is it required by the Company account it is associated with. Prefer Authy for 2FA.

Fix Layout, please!. The app works great, hence the two stars. BUT, there has got to be a better iPad layout, it’s basically a blown up version of the iPhone app.

Won’t display in landscape for iPad. This token works properly but doesn’t DISPLAY properly on an iPad where the vast majority of the time our applications are in LANDSCAPE orientation. Come on — this is an easy fix - allow it auto-rotate. When I switch from the VIP app back to my main application, then my application is then displayed in portrait having to force a rotation back to landscape. Please - fix this!

Needs Landscape view. App is no different from iPhone version and only works in portrait view, not landscape view. An update with landscape view would be welcomed!

IPad version?. This app can’t display in landscape, a basic error that makes it hard to use. Surely this is easy to get right?

No Landscape Mode. Using this app with my new iPad Pro with an attached keyboard is very frustrating. Please support autorotation ASAP!

Awful App. This app only works on a really old IPad. The number that comes up says incorrect when I try to use it with my new iPad. I redownloaded it several times hoping it would update, but it didn’t.

Multiple attempts required for log-in. With the most recent update I am required to log-in several times (usually 4 of more) in order to connect to my remote desk top. This is extremely annoying please fix it.

Does not give the correct code. This app works perfectly on my iPhone but on my iPad it is out of sync meaning it gives the wrong code every 30 seconds. I agree on the iPad landscape view would also be a good addition.

Works well, but why don't Symantec employ an interface designer?. This is specifically an app for an iPad, but the UI only displays in Portrait mode - not Landscape. It will not switch (at all). Is it really that hard to work stuff like this out?

Clunky. Wow, what a horrible clunky app. Symantec should compare this with Microsofts Authenticator and then feel embarrassed about producing this one. It’s unfortunate the organisation I’m dealing with offers no other choice. But considering this version was built specifically for iPad, can we at least have multi orientations ?

Useless. The only thing more dysfunctional than this app is the bank that requires me to use it.
