Glitch Requires Constant Re-Login
The current update is annoying. When I try to start a stream, it demands that I go to iTunes to subscribe, so I have to log out and log back in to 'remind' it that I'm already a subscriber, even though I'm already logged in and it shows me my login information! This happens at least once a day. Please fix.
UPDATE: The revamped app was impossible to use. Two more updates and still bad. No current-day shows loaded, I can only watch yesterday's. Still clunky and I still tend to shut it off before watching anything. Reconsidering my subscription altogether.
This new app is horrible. Running on iPhone 6s and iPad Air.
1. Video constatnly bounces between full/wide screen while stationary.
2. Can't pause live video stream.
3. When watching past program and rotate device a second stream (the live one) starts up so now live and past programs are running simultaniously.
4. Live stream is constantly trying to buffer then I miss segments of the show. This has forced me to the website to stream which I prefer not to do on a work PC.
5. When I disable bluetooth in the app and tell audio to go to my device the video pauses when I disconnect the bluetooth device even when the audio is no longer going to the bluetooth device. Happens in my car or with my headset.
6. Not being able to scroll through different news stories with a finger flick is frustrating. I shouldn't have to hit the back button each time to go to a new story. If you don't want to do flick that is fine but then add a forward button to go to the next news story without going back to the main list all of the stories.
On the upside they did fix the only two problems I had on the old app
1. I don't have to log out and then login every day even when my account info was already stored
2. The hyperlinks in some of the news stories are now not longer than the screen which prevented flicking to the next story.
Come on guys. you have pushed a really bad product here compared to your old app. I hope this is fixed soon.
Unwatchable choppy livestreaming
What happened to the smooth tv livestreaming? Now when I attempt to watch live tv it stops every few seconds to buffer which makes it virtually impossible to watch and a lot of content is lost because of it. Also, at times the video part freezes while the audio continues or both audio and video freezes. These issues are happening on all of my iPads running the latest iOS 10.3.1. It is especially bad on Glenn's live radio broadcast on tv. I am not having any issues playing livestream outside of The Blaze app. This app was working fine until recently. If this doesn't get fixed soon, I am going to cancel my subscription as this app has become unwatchable.
Very Disappointing v3.1
The previous version of the App worked great. Streaming was consistent and it had a pause, rewind, then fast forward function that WORKED when live streaming.
The new App has NONE of these features. I listen at work and liked pausing and returning if I got busy. If I just want to live stream I can listen to IHeart for free and not need to pay for a subscription.
I was a subscriber and tried to cancel my subscription, they charged me anyway and there is no phone number to call. They stole $74.95! No email messages returned...nothing. Better business bureau is my only next alternative or they will charge me every year. Rip off. And now a total waste of time trying to block the auto purchase. Grrrrrrrrrr
Not liking new version
This new version is more annoying than informative. The font is so tiny even on my iPhone 6+ that it's hard to read and I didn't find an option to increase font size. Also I turned off autoplay but as I go to another page a radio snippet plays automatically whether I want it or not. I press pause to stop it but it keeps going. Not a terrible app but isn't as solid as it was.
What's with this app?
The app itself is free to get, but I have to pay 10 bucks to do/see ANYTHING using the app? Maybe I'm missing something? Can't "click" on anything, and can't even set up an account (even if I wanted to shell out the $10)! And $10? Come on. All things considered, I think I'll pass.
I have been a Blaze supporter from the beginning. Love the shows, love the guys & gals. With the latest 'update' it should dubbed a 'down' date. I have gone back & forth with support for months when issues started with the original app. The app itself is now terrible. The iTunes log in disappeared & when speaking to support, they had no idea it had even existed in the original app. The worst yet is in Amazon Fire TV. The 'only' app on all of Amazon doesn't work because I'm told, 'I must have a 1st generation Fire TV'. I really hope these guys get it together. I've canceled my subscription until things 'Work'. Patiently waiting.
Video is much better, but...
This app is much improved, especially with the video, but there are some problems. The formatting of the news stories is off. Also, if you have a login for TheBlaze.com, the app is using that login for Blaze TV.
The update does little to address all the numerous problems with The Blaze app since the terrible update at the beginning of April. Premium content playback still is awful. Hitting the restore icon closes the video window and when you bring it back up it starts over from the beginning. No skip forward or back, and very hard to use the slider to move forward or back in time. Still problems in rotation from portrait to landscape in news. These are just a couple examples. Anyone testing this app at all before release?
New App is horrible
Come on guys, you can't have an app redesign that constantly locks, freezes and is poorly laid out. Who is doing this, have to do better when a lot of people signed up for the blaze tv/radio can only access content through this APP!!!!! Please fix!!!!!
Finally "works" after deleting old app and reinstalling it about four times. Yet now, I am not able to get it to full screen on iPad unless I shut down iPad, restart, and then full screen works. The rewind is not there any longer in case you want to hear something again. When you pause it to do something, it just resumes to live, so you cannot resume to where you were before any longer. And now, I cannot see where my battery level is at while at full screen. I liked the old app's ability to switch shows better and that the lineup was on the top left corner. Now on top right. Please, fix this app Glenn. Love your show, but this new app is not working well. Not to the quality standard I have come to expect from you.
