👎🏻. Dont get it. No score and when ever i get in the game it always says first purchase the piano or blah blah blah and when i play a song it pops up an add and it just wastes my time. How do you cancel trial???. This is sooo wrong! I am about to be charged because there is NO way to cancel free trial as they say to do before 7 days! HELP!!! This should be illegal to make it so hard to cancel!

Makes instruments easier. This is an innovative app that makes music intuitive. It is a thrill to play guitar on my iPad.

This is a problem. The only thing that I don’t like about this app is that most (90%) of the songs you have to buy with real money, even the popular songs that people listen to all the time. This is the only problem with this app where you are restricted to a dozen songs and the other 130 new songs say you have to buy them.

Ok if you're going to make a guitar app no one wants to pay 7 fecking dollars to play one song and the 12 free songs are all preppy songs so just download GarageBand and look up guitar notes for the MILLIONS of songs there are also no my chemical romance 2 Twenty One Pilots songs no Panic! at the disco and only fall out boys latest album do yourself a favor and don't waste the 1 gigabytes that this app takes up and get something useful two thumbs down 👎👎

Free songs??? Nope. When I got this app I was exited that I got to play songs for free but when I got a song it said "if you want to play....." just say purchases. I hate this app 👿👿👿👿👿👿

TOTAL RIPOFF!. Wanted to check it out so I started the free trial looked throughout the settings to cancel my 7 day subscription and I can't so now I will be charged and I can't stop its. Don't download this app and if you do don't start the "free" subscription.

Disappointing. The sound of the sixth strings switches back and forth between two notes, making your playing sound off.

Dont get this app. Its so freakin stupid!! I tried to play my favorite songs and it said i need an all access pass (which costs money) and I Tried a few songs and i couldnt play any of them!!

Not Good. Way to much mail, virtually all of my mail is from this one app. Otherwise it is not my favorite app for guitars.

Pathetic. I will never get back the 5 minutes of my life that I wasted trying out this app. Every other time you try to play on a fret it makes an annoying high pitched sound. Whoever devised this piece of crap wasted there life making something that will have no impact on the world whatsoever.

Just horrible. This app has the most horrible sound ever it’s off key and makes no since this doesn’t even deserve to be 1star if your thinking of getting this app don’t.

Doesn't make any sense. The guitars don't sound real. The band doesn't sound like a real one. The band doesn't make the right sounds during the song and neither does the guitar. Only about 10 songs are actually free.

DOSENT sound real😡😡😡. I just got this then deleted it because it didn't work and it sounded like a piano seriously don't even try the game if you have any device

Bugged. This would be a good app, but unfortunately if you opt for the subscription or free trial then any time you click on a song to play it after you subscribe you will get a message saying, “Congrats you have an All Access pass and you can play this and any other song.” Unfortunately that is a lie as you will now be unable to play any songs without getting that message and it taking you right back to the song list. Uninstalling and reinstalling will let you play the free songs, but none of the free songs. But if you click on Restore purchases you will be right back to the initial problem I described.

Scam. You have to take a subscription to do anything. Although it is free for a week it automatically charges you $2 weekly after that, so make sure you you turn that off in settings

Awesome. I like it and l hope people can buy. Some of my favorite songs are on the app. Get it!✌️✌️😀

Won’t let you play. This app sounds great and probably does a lot of great things but every time I hit play for a song, the screen where you choose what guitar you want to use comes up like it should, but before it even finishes loading the song, the screen that says “Congrats, you are an all access user (and so on)” pops up. When you X out of it, you arrive where you choose what song you want to play!!! EVERY TIME!! This was really disappointing because I heard that this app was AWESOME and a great way to learn how to play guitar. From A LOT OF PEOPLE... I really wish you could find out why this is happening and PLEASE fix it!! Thanks, Sparrow

OMG ADS!!. I started the app and was assaulted by an advertisement. Fine they have to pay the bills. 30 seconds later the same horrible ad starts again. No thanks. Don't waste my time.

NEVER GET THIS GAME!!!!!!. It looked cool but when I got it I tap on a song it said you have to get a all access pass!! Dumbest game ever!!! And the all access pass for a year is like some 40 bucks!!!!! And you have re pay every year so 2 years is like 80 dollars!!!!stupid

Subscription Failure. I keep getting this notification that my subscription thing doesn’t work and it won’t connect to the iTunes Store! Please fix this!

Buggy. The app has good features--the ability to remove strings and tune to the notes you want--but when you've been playing for a few minutes in Freestyle, the strings don't consistently release, so you can't play accurately. Buggy.

First off, the app itself just sounds terrible, also I decided to get the free trial cause I wanted to play some Bruce Springsteen (sounds horrible and not worth it in this app) and after 7 days I will get charged and it said cancel it in settings and I've looked EVERYWHERE, and I mean EVERYWHERE but there is no way to cancel my free trial. I've looked in the settings on my iPod and the settings on the app and there is just no way to cancel my free trial

Not worth it. The game continuously ask you to rate it, takes too long to load, adds appear almost every time you want to play a song, and worst of all they say that you can play hundreds of songs, but you have to keep paying money to play every song.

There’s Too Many Things Wrong With this App. First of all, it’s Good Riddance (Time of Your Life), not Time of Your Life (Good Riddance) Also when I tried to get the trial it still wouldn’t let me play the songs Also, no one wants to play the melody of the lyrics, we want to play the actual guitar part. What kind of app is this?!

Two problems. 1. You only get like 3 free songs 2. When you play freestyle or even preform when you press on a fret sometimes it goes off key!

Better than a tutor. This is good because I usually get stressed out when people try to teach me something, but this way I can do it all in my own time and however I feel comfortable doing it... Love it !

Guitar app review. This app is cool, but it's nothing like the real thing. You can make beautiful music with it but it doesn't give you real hands-on experience. I think I'll stick to my REAL guitar.

Easy when you get the hang of it. At first it's a little hard to get the notes and chords right but after a little practice (like the real thing) its much easier. Recommend this for anyone wanting to learn the guitar but does want to lay the money without seeing what its like first

Really good :). Really good :) I like it. It helps me learn, it even has a feature which you can change the size of the guitar! The only problem is that the free version has only three songs so you don't learn much :( But I recommend it :))

Guitar. It's game is a good game for people who are just starting out learning the guitar. It lets you learn how to strum and teaches you things like fretting. I like it because is has some hard things to play and some easy things. One thing I don't like is that you don't know what the timing is because you don't get to hear someone else play the song. This app also has free play mode where you can just play around with different tunes. Over all this app is pretty good and I would definitely recommend it... :)

Great app for kids. This app is great for kids. My 5 year old can play songs on his own using the free version of this app. However I think 10$ is pretty steep for full version compared to all other apps of same quality. If it was under 4$ I would recommend it without any reservations.

Don't understand this app!. I cannot seem to get this app to work properly. The fret hand always seems to be on the wrong end of the board and it is not the left/right selection. I have on the default right hand, even tried the left hand which obviously is wrong. This app would be useful if I could get it to display properly.

Terrible. A terrible experience with this app. The description states that a subscription can be managed from user settings within the app. There is no way to do so. There is also no way to cancel a subscription.

Well then!. So I subscribed for the 7days free with automatic payments to get downloaded failed try again later. Every song really? It says come back later so I’ll just pay you and then you know never use the app. Don’t waste your time.

Great app!. It's a great app, however it has hammer Ons the app doesn't seem to be capable of pull offs, also playing complicated music is an extremely arduous task, especially when I play a more difficult song that needs to be played on multiple frets up and down the neck. Navigating while doing the strumming makes it difficult, the only thing that seems plausible to make happen would be more realistic strumming that sounds less robotic and more artificial. The interface is great and I love how you can change the tuning and the whole fret board is available. I also love how it actually detects pull offs as well, amazing. 4\5 until some things are improved, however it Is still a great app and I'd recommend it for anyone looking to pass the time, however using this app to learn guitar could actually be extremely uneducational for beginners. Start out playing guitar the real way and use apps like this when you're too lazy to go in the other room and pick up your guitar, like me.

For the old and new. It don't matter if you've been playing for decades or weeks... You can definitely increase your true potential with this app... Some stuff you can learn just for fun around the camp fire, and others more seriously and help you optimize your potential on stage in front of thousands... Don't take my word for it... Good, would suggest to others.. I am glad that this program is available. I am also glad that is it free. This program is exactly what I was looking for. There are key pictures on the bottom of each keys telling you which notes are which. This is a feature you can turn on an off, so if you choose not to have them, you do not need them. I was a bit said that there is no ability to read sheet music as you play. The notes do come down from the top of the screen and come across the key you are to play, so if you have no piano experience you should be able to play all the songs. I am wondering how do I get the window of visible keys opened to see the whole board? There is an awesome feature where you can split the boards and then the notes turn red when you need to hit them. You have to learn it to some degree before being able to play on this level. Thank you for making this program so I can continue my previous piano lessons. This has inspired me to potentially get a keyboard and continue more lessons on a real key board.

Something usable!. I play guitar and bought the MooCow guitar app quite a while back since it seemed like it was the best guitar app. Its good, but Im a lefty and that app did not support my 'condition.' lol Plus you were limited if you dont have tiny fingers. The free version of this app, however, does...plus it lets me customize the size of the fret board (vertical AND horizontal). Basically, if I turn autopluck on I am able to play this LIKE A GUITAR (sans plucking). It works much much better! If the paid version supports recording a backing track and perhaps a way to scroll up/down the fretboard easier it may be worth a purchase. I am impressed. ;D

Was good but now app crash 😭. I used this app on and off for a while now waiting for new limited time free songs because I can't afford to pay for songs. I've enjoyed learning some of the songs there were no updates for a while and I got tired of waiting for a new limited time free song so I deleted the app. Now I just installed it again and it has been updated it looks a lot nicer and has more free songs which is nice the only problem is every time I try to click on a song I get an add video which were never used before on this app but oh well I can over look the add every time but right after the add is done the app crashes. What's the point in saying free guitar with songs when you can't play the guitar or hear the music. I do hope they fix this problem soon and in doing so I hope they don't take away all the free song but they probably will because its all about the money right they don't make money when all the songs are free.😢😥

Not horrible. 1. It's free. 2. The UI is clean and simple...except that the song menu is set in portrait and the play UI is forced to landscape...really? Breaking my neck trying to select songs or have to constantly rotate. 3. Those are the best and only songs you could come with for the free version? I'm kind of forced to give a review before I've gone through more than a couple of lame songs just so I can unlock the only decent popular song available.. Add a chord library and I might upgrade.

Ok unless you have ever used a real guitar. Compared to a real guitar, the strings are in the opposite order. Real guitar has lowest frequency string closest to you. This app has the highest frequency there instead. So it seems the only wya to play like a real guitar, if you are right handed, is to set the app for lefthanded guitar and then flip your ipod over so that the icons are all upside down but the strings and strum position are correct. Unless you do that, any chords you learn on this app arent going to work if you get a real guitar. And flipping everything codwallopery isnt something a novice would realize she needed to do. So the app isnt very useful as a learning device.

It's ok.. read on please. Good for learning songs, as far as, playing the proper notes, chords, and strumming patterns. The hard part is actually playing the songs, and there are a few reasons. First of all, the distance between frets are about 1/2 the distance of a real guitar, even when they are adjusted to max. This makes it very difficult to have more than one finger within the same fret, which makes playing chords difficult. A similar problem arises with strings. You can adjust the width between strings as well, but they need to be set near the max setting (too wide, E1 and E6 cannot be strummed). Probably the most annoying feature is the full view of the fret bar, which lies across the A string. This really interferes with playing anything effectively. However, in autoplay mode, the song will play with some instruction and you can follow along and play on your real guitar- a good way to learn songs. Another good tool is the metronome.

Love it so much. I have never had a better app! It is the most dependable and long-lasting fun for kids and adults. This app is perfect for camp fires, sleepovers and ibands!! I got this today and I already unlocked all the songs. My mom won't pay for a real guitar , so I enjoy this app a lot. My mom is so mean, jk I love my mom she is beautiful, nice , and lets me live but still takes care of me. But this reveiw is for the app not my mom. I am in love with this kid, TANNER ❤ I LOVE HIM SO MUCH but this kid Tyler (my bestfriend) asked my friend Hope out :( I always had a crush on Tyler. I am so jealous so this app help me get over it :)

Guitar Free. Very cool guitar simulation app. Unlike other apps which just let you select whole chords and strum, this app actually let's you fret the notes and use the entire fretboard. Now your iPad can also be a virtual guitar for learning or composing anywhere. I also like the various song learning modes but haven't used them much, and the ability to adjust fret and string widths really helps since fretting an iPad is a bit awkward.

To Ay A GUITAR. This game is really fun! A perfect activity for those who have desires to learn but don't have the money. Although you may have to pay for the complete version with 500+ songs, the free version is only $0.99! Comparing that to $200+ dollars just for the guitar, with an additional cost for lessons; which are usually $30+ per month!! For guitar players, that is a definite saver. Overall this game is fun, productive, and a great way to start playing!

Easy to use and fun for learning basics. The ease of the inputs and controls make this really worth downloading. I do not know how to play any musical instruments other than some basic drum sequences. Give this a try and see how you do. It supports multiple touches at once and makes it incredibly easy for you to learn how to play some really basic songs.

Guitar.... This is a great app to use if you want to learn guitar and don't have one. You can play all different songs on it if you don't want to do songs that they have the notes for and you can invite friends to play songs with you to and they have all different options to play or learn songs and you could rite a good review about this app it's fun and everyone thinks you're able to play guitar by memorizing the notes when this app shows you what notes to press you can play we wish you a merry Christmas, star spangled banner, jingle bells, william tell overtue, and happy birthday these are all very great songs for a starter or someone who has been practicing for years but I will tell you if you're a starter don't begin with William tell until you've had atleast 4 practices.

Pretty cool . I really like this app cause I just started a small beginner guitar class and I don't have a guitar yet so I borrow theirs, so this means I can't practice at home. It's kinda helpful so I can just play this if I want to practice. The only thing is that it's not this same as actually holding that guitar in your hands. Plus sometime when I try to strum It plays another string and stuff but overall this is a really cool app and was pretty helpful to me. Really worth it 

This is a great app!!!. This app is so much fun! Imagine Christmas day, all the presents are open, and everyone is passing the iPad around to play songs. It's family fun and it's great bonding time! Not only Chrismas, but birthdays, too. The candles atop the cake are lit, and as everyone joins the choir of 'Happy Birthday' someone is playing the song on the iPad. The presents are being opened or have already been opened and everyone takes turns playing!
