Awsome app. Works perfect at our track (OGP) and I was able to get times in Florida while the Rotax Grand Nationals were running in Utah. I would definitely recommend it. Beats holding a stop watch unless your running split times.

Please cancel this subscription!!!!!!!Now!!!!!. I have tried for four years to cancel this via PayPal, Apple and Racemonitor. There is no cancel button and then I think I have canceled it but I get another charge a month and half before the date. This is ridiculous hard and no response or very little help just tossed over the fence. I have spent a stupid amount of time every year to get rid of this as we haven’t raced since 2018. Please someone help!

Awesome App!. So easy to use! Every time I go in to the app it's quick and accurate. Each use I find more features that help me track my favorite racers stats with more detail than any other timing app I've seen. Completely love it!

Price increase. 30 percent price hike?!

It is what it is. The platform performs poorly. The logical steps are not so logical and the back button is missing a few windows so you have to press q thousand buttons just to get to one screen. I’d pay double for a platform that actually works. Get rid of the 1 dollar version that does nothing please.

Save your money. My local track was not in here and it’s a subscription. Now that’s fine but you have to subscribe to find out it does not have the info you need. Now your stuck with an app you can’t use and paid for a year!

Terrible.. I purchased the yearly subscription. Won’t work. Then I got the monthly one. Won’t work. Restored purchase. Won’t work. App locks up. I tried to close it and try again. Multiple times. Won’t work. I tried to delete it and re download it. Won’t work. I would love my money back. But I expect that won’t work either.

restore purchases. I bought the in app purchase some time ago, now everytime it loads it has that banner to upgrade, when i also try to restore purchases it asks for my password twice then just sits there, idle. please help. I promote this product at my Local race track but not this year/

Not compatible with iOS 13.2. App crashes as soon as I try to open it.

Be careful to cancel. Since they count on you to not cancel your subscription, set a reminder to cancel after the weekend.

Doesn’t acknowledge upgrade. Doesn’t ever upgrade to plus even though it says I have.

Fantastic app!. My father and I use it at every race we attend-when it's available. But with more and more people getting ahold of the necessary timing software compatible for this app (idk exactly how that works), I'm seeing it at more and more races! Even this weekend I have watched the progress of my friends at an SCCA event at Sebring, all from the comfort of my home on the other side of the country. Great app

Upgrade?. I have this App on my iPhone X and want to upgrade to the plus version to utilize the added features. The problem is I can’t find any way to accomplish this within the App itself or through the App Store.

RaceHero will soon be superior. Great app if you love to continuously renew your subscription with a buggy app that fails to support drivers & crew alike. Purchased an annual subscription 3 times this year? Sure, go ahead and “restore” it once more. It won’t work.

Great tool. Excellent for keeping track of position and times in the race. Only problem is data disappears when the next event starts. Customer service says they are working on an archiving feature. When they release this I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars. But even as is I recommend it highly for both pit crews and fans.

Reduced Coverage. Race Monitor is covering less races in the Central PA region. As a result the value had decreased while they have increased subscription costs. I have dropped this service and DO NOT RECOMMEND. They used to be good but are no longer relevant to Central PA.

Get race hero instead for free. Race monitor has always been bad and I’ve only kept it on my phone for times when the race weekend wasn’t on race hero (rare). Last weekend seemed like one of those so I found the race on race monitor, but had to get a subscription to follow the race I was entered in. Fine. $0.99 for one month then I’ll cancel. Well, if you want to see your individual lap times you need to pay another $4. I’m in too deep and out lap timer was broke, this looked like it. Fine. Well 30 mins later the race popped up on race hero. For free. And it charts lap times. Has better sorting by class. Tells you who’s in the pits and who might be out of the race because they’ve pitted so long. And gives you track communication like black flags by car number. Oh, and it’s just more attractive and easier to read. And free. If race monitor wants to have a chance they need to check out race hero and get with the program. I want my $5 back. And you, save your money and hassle and get race hero.

Outdated. Used be a good app when no other was available. Seems now you can’t find results easily, no schedule shows up. The other popular app seems to be a much better choice. I have been paying for quite some time and I will be cancelling my account because it gets frustrating trying to figure out what group is racing etc.

Fantastic app and great company. This app is awesome for monitoring action at or away from the track. The support is amazing as well - I emailed on a Saturday night about losing connection to a race and had an actual useful response within the hour - they contacted the site and helped them resolve it. Wow.

Works well, but drains battery. The app works great but it does drain my phone's battery rather quickly and the phone will not charge while the app is in use. It also has to use your data plan to get the timing and scoring info so you are dependent on a call signal or possibly a wifi connection. It does work as advertised though.

Great!. This app is great for race families! My family and i use it at every race to check for qualifying and time for my dad. We race micro sprint cars and sometimes it doesn’t load. I don’t know if that’s the tracks fault for not uploading or the app. Otherwise great for race fans and racers

Fair. App works fair.... I had to pay for the “upgrade “ twice !!! Stopped working. Told me to restore the upgrade ... then said success, but didn’t work and told me to restore my upgrade again. Viscous circle. The only way I could get it working again ..... pay for the upgrade again ! Other than that I like what the app does.

Good to use; but not happy to pay. I love using it, but i just can’t stand how you have to pay.

NOT ready for IOS 6. Latest upgrade says it's ready for iOS 6 and optimized for iPhone 5, but this is not the case. Running the app on my iPhone 5 as well as my iPad 2 running iOS 6, it will not switch to landscape mode, leaving me without vital information that I need to be able to pass on to my driver. I love this app, but this is a big oversight on the developers part.

New phone. This weekend I got a new phone and the app opened but my subscription did not follow

pretty useless. Pretty useless - neither of the tracks that we traveled to this season are included in the app.

Mixed. Great format and organized, never remembers subscription to live timing to the point where it’s not accessible it, theres and endless loop of restoring and then being asked to subscribe

Wish I could rate it lower. App hardly ever works even after buying a subscription still no difference.

Extremely useful app!. This is one of the best ideas for an app and a godsend for racers and racing fans. Great for following races remotely when you can't attend. Also very convenient when you're at the track - showing you lap times during qual - allowing pit crew to see how the competition is doing while your racer is still out on the track.

Data not available. For the second time this year while using this app, we got messages data not available. I was in a two day, endurance race, and they capture day one accurately. Day two is nowhere to be seen.

Next best thing to being there. Race monitor keeps me up to date on my friends running in the Nationals & Majors series. The Plus version has great features that let me focus in. I also use race monitor plus when I'm at the track. 101 North Racing

Only works half the time.. Would be sweet if it actually worked on the days you wanted it to. It's successfully worked for me maybe 3 times in the last two years.

recurring subscription. If you don't want a recurring subscription be sure to make that change in your Apple account. I got charged and Apple won't remove the charge. Basically the same as stealing.

Help. How can I cancel my subscription? I got a new phone and won’t restore.

Nice app. App works great, larger font on lap times would be nice. Sent an email to support with no response. Be nice if they’d at least reply.

Race monitor rocks!. Race Monitor is one of the best apps I have! For the race fans, family and friends who can't get to some of the races...get this app. It's the best ever out there! If there was a 10 star rating I would rate it 10+. :-)

Favorite Tracks. I had one issue not working for me. I just wish that you could the race tracks that you follow in the favorites. That way I have to scroll down through the tracks to find the one I'm looking for.

Frustrating App. On first sight it looks solid, then i had to upgrade to see live timing. Ok no problem im happy to support developers for their work if its for something useful. After the upgrade i could only see one laptime. So i had to upgrade for 3.99 to see individual times. Ok a bit steep but i guess i have no choice. It worked for a bit but then if i closed the app all the previous LapTimes were gone! (Or when it crashed) It also didn’t record any laptimes while the app was closed. All in all its pretty useless. There is also no way to see laptimes after a event is over. The whole interface was a bit frustrating, if you want to go back from individual laptime to overall team laptimes it spits you out in the main menu where you have to find your event every single time. At a 12hr race last weekend every single driver including me who used this app was extremely unhappy with it. We were 5 drivers and downloaded it on 3 different phones and all had the same issues. RaceHero it so much superior in comparison, every single laptime is recorded and in a database and its very intuitive to navigate.

Not reliable. As the developer, I would pay attention to your reviews and identify user enhancements to make your product better versus attempting to defend an unreliable product. Defending the issues without making improvements to enhance the user experience is simply asking for for disappointment. There is a need for this type of service and I hope you can find the muscle to make it work. The free app is better than the $3.99 Race Monitor Plus. It’s rarely reliable and cannot pull up podium information. Difficult to navigate and should be easy to pull information. Stick with the free version as it provides better info.

GREAT customer service. I had issues viewing individual driver’s details. After reading some reviews it had me nervous that it maybe a glitch and wasn’t showing my paid upgrade. I did the “contact us” through the app and with a few days heard back and the issue was resolved (user error). Extremely wonderful customer service and almost immediate replies. Gave 4 stars because it’s a little hard to learn how to maneuver through the app but again … more than likely the user. 😆

No coverage of major race. I used this app last year for the Rolex 24hr race. I’m at race now and app doesn’t show race at all. Now have to figure out how to cancel subscription Update. They answered me and stated IMSA Rolex 24 hr race has not been on this app. The only other races I would have used it for would have been HSR ( historic sports car racing). My mistake.

This app is amazing. My Family races every week 3 times a week but also tends to travel they all races at different tracks my dad runs 410, midgets ,silver crown cars , 360 and my cousin races same time with my dad races but at different tracks and as well with three other cousins so this app is a amazing here’s a special tip if you want to save a race just hold down the track that you were watching and then it will save it for the whole night or if you want Hold down which track you want to watch and then it will save it for every night they’re racing racing instead of scrolling back-and-forth for which track you want to watch

Erratic. Erratically tracks cars during races. Expect to see "Loading..." when you would like to see lap times. Occurs regardless of the track and whatever network they may have, this is an application issue. Layers of subscription requirements to simply monitor an ongoing race don't help either.

What happened???. RM had been a great app the last few years I’ve used it. Today at Hallett the data was erratic at best. Laps not being counted, unable to view an entire session, if I had 10 laps, it only showed 2???? Very frustrating. As far as I know I pay for RM, it hadn’t free in the past? Hope these bugs are fixed quickly now that we are going racing finally👍

Waste of time scam. Requires paying for app from Apple—-then give message “unable to load directory. The only reason that I gave it one star is that there is no access to negative numbers. Trans Am should be ashamed to affiliate with this idiotic effort. I am alerting Apple.

Rip off bait and takes your money. They list event I want to follow but have to pay to see it. Not expensive so I pay then open event it doesn't have the class I want. Bait you in take your money and from other reviews I see very difficult to cancel. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS APP UNLESS YOU WANT TO THROW MONEY AWAY.

Horrible. Horrible app. I paid for the subscription only to find out that it wouldn't update the race times anyway.

Works well. I like the app but there needs to be better help. I had to go online to figure put what the colors mean, how the icons work, etc.

Race Monitor. When it was a $9.99 app, it worked most of the time (frequently would freeze). Now that it is a subscription, I would not put any more money toward this unreliable app.

Race monitor no longer usable. Purchased a couple of years ago. It worked great. Now I cannot access races I could view before. Need to pay for "subscription" I'm out.

I have to pay for updates?. Why did I buy this app? It rarely works, the server continually states it's not receiving data. Now I have to pay for an update? It doesn't work properly on iPhone 5. Avoid.

Race track owner. I had no problem installing and it worked great!

Publishers now expect me to pay AGAIN!!. I paid for this app once, then again for upgrade, and now they expect me to pay for a subscription. It's not my problem the publishers were too dumb to develop a sustainable business model with the initial iTunes offering. They need to honor existing purchases and grandfather usage without subscription fees.

Don't bother. So I bought it for the Philadelphia bicycle race and it worked so poorly (still showing women's results after start of the men's race; laps behind real time; etc, etc) I'm writing the company to get my money back!

Not worth it. This was fine when it was a one time purchase. As a monthly subscription, the results are not worth it.

Criminal. I paid for the app, I paid for an in app purchase upgrade, and now the app is absolutely worthless. They changed their business model to a subscription service, and now want my again. This was not the deal.

Race Monitor. App wouldn't update when I was at the actual race. The next morning, when I was at home, it updated with all he correct information.

Connecting?. I bought this app and it won't let me connect... It just says connecting....for ever... I phone 4; might have to ask for a refund if it dosnt work by end of the night.

Charge me once, charge me twice?. This app is a big disappointment. Slow to load. Shuts down by itself. Doesn't update. Charges you for everything. Asks you to upgrade, then asks you to upgrade to use the upgrade. Each time it's an additional 5 bucks. Really? If it worked it would be great.

Awesome App. This is a get app for the track. Easy to use. And very accurate.

WoO. I enjoyed it for the race I was at. Its monthly fee is only .99 cents so it's worth it!!!

No way to disable automatic renewals. I love this app and have used it periodically over the years. I recently signed up for an annual subscription and was notified that I could disable auto renewals in the settings. Guess what? That is not possible in the current build. If that feature were present as promised, I'd give 5 stars.

Great app!!!. Great app to have at the track when you don't have wifi or don't want to carry a laptop to the grid, also works away from the track.

Race team usage. I love this app use it at the track to keep an eye on the lap times

Automatic renewal. I have used this app in recent years and it works fine. The only thing that I don't like is the automatic renewal for the subscription. I am still trying to find a way to turn that feature off.

Works great. It's $5.00 a year people. Quit complaining about the cost. If you don't have $5.00 to throw around you shouldn't be near a race track to begin with....

Really nice. I do timing and scoring for a club... This connects perfectly. I can walk away from setup and still know exactly what's going on.

Worthless. Just borrow some other sucker's phone who bought this app at a race. You can't download any lap times from this app which is a total scam. They build a database in the backend for tracking times and then they claim they can't share the info. I bet they will come out with an even more "Pro" version someday that can do this and charge 10$ for it.

Worked Great for SKUSA at Las Vegas. I was able to follow all the SKUSA sessions remotely recently from the other side of the country and it was rock solid. Great way to follow sessions and will look to add this feature for our series.

Screwed over old customers. Previously purchased this app, only to discover today that they changed their business plan and now give the app away for free and then charge a yearly subscription to actually see the live timing results. Very unhappy.

Do not bother.. I hate apps that suddenly change to subscription apps after I've done the one time purchase. I hope this app is quickly supplanted by a better, less greedy one.

Junk. Total crap. Have used this app for years. Paid for the subscription FOR A YEAR. nothing makes sense. Does not work. Crap crap crap.

Look carefully. This app only works onsite at tracks.. I didn't realize this app was only for use at tracks and only tracks that have this set-up. Ask for money back and no response.

No SCCA info. I renewed this app only to find that my club no longer seems to provide data through it.

I spent $9.99 and now they're making me pay again. I used the not-always working app for a couple of years after getting the pro upgrade. It seems like the makers got greedy and are deciding to not honor my original purchase.

Ripped off. I paid for $9.99 the pro version and now have to pay a subscription to even see a race. They should refund the pro users since we get nothing for money now. Normally customers who fund your development get grandfathered. Nice way to screw the initial pro users

App Doesn't Work. I'm at Road America and the app will not find any races. Always says "unable to load data". However, my friend next to me on AT&T's network, has his up and running fine. I am connected to Road Americas WI-FI and everything. I am on Verizon.

Very disappointed. I have used and loved this app for a very long time. As a car chief it came in very handy, especially at club events. However I think that if you were an original customer that paid for the app you should be "grandfathered" in and not have to pay the new fees.

Track driver. I wish we could have a section where u type the driver's name and you can see were they are racing that night or the next night

Does not work on iOS3. I am sorry, but I suspect that developers did not test it on iOS3 while they claim it requires iOS3. I tried it it on iPod Touch 1 gen with WiFi and the application shows first screen for 2 seconds and then it simply exits with no notifications. I assume it crashes.

None. New version doesn't work on my iPhone4s stuck in connecting. Have deleted and reinstalled several times to no avail. Just gave up on it too frustrating. Don't waste your $$

When it works!. Wonderful when it works! Key word when! Yes it's only 5.00 a year but I want my 5.00 worth and it works 1/4 of the time!
