Fun but could be better. Although this app is creative on the car building side, it would be wayyyyyy better if you could use the car once you've built it. Different backgrounds, different speeds, racing the cars you've built against each other, movement capability beyond just starting it and seeing how it runs, take it to the next level!

Waste of money. This game is boring, unchallenging & meaningless. My 4 year old loves cars and I thought it would at least be fun. It's not. This app needs to go back to the drawing board. How about teaching kids something about vehicle parts rather than the annoying cheap cruise ship music in the background. It would be nice if the child could move the cars they built. Perhaps around a race track. Maybe integrate letter identification into the race track. Thanks for the opportunity to give my feedback.

Creative outlet!. We love this program for our 4- year old son! He is a car/monster-truck fanatic and this creative game is right up his alley! He keeps very busy with this, creating all types of designs. He enjoys turning on the "ignition" after designing a new car. Very cool app!

Very creative!!!!!!!!!!. This is GREAT on the iPad. My daughter has a blast dragging the parts onto a car. She was thrilled to discover that she could turn the car on in the garage!

Needs more cars and accessories. This game should be free. All options and features are very limited and basic. All of my free games are much better and can play much longer. It took an average of 2 mins or less to build or use most limited options. You should not charge people and be cheap about it, especially for kids. So, either make it free to build up your customer base and reputation or give it out for free due to basic and low-end development.

worth it! son loves it!. Son Loves it, could use more options for designing the cars, like change the car colors and the background, but otherwise worth the buck i paid for it!!

Unintuitive interface. This app is listed in the "5 & under" section of kids apps, but the instructions are entirely text based. How are kids who can't read supposed to figure out how to use the app? Apple shouldn't allow this app to be marketed for preschool-aged kids until the interface requires less reading, and is more tutorial based.

I just don't get this app. bought it yesterday for my 3 year old son who is mad about cars etc. i played with it before showing him and just do not understand the appeal. my son was also blah about it. i thought it made cars with lots of areas to interact with for a child. it does not know what it is, too weird for a child and well, too weird for me, an adult.

Create a car. Grandson age 4 1/2 years, really enjoys naming players and building the cars. It would be nice to see even more car styles to build.

Parent. Great app. My son and I fill our garages with all sorts of modified cars and trucks. To see who is the most creative. If I could add a comment would be if you could update the main screen by adding a delete button. To delete unwanted players. Thanks. Great app.

But.... I think it's a great and fun game for young children, older children or girl or boy. I suggest having a few more options when creating a car therefore playing the game more often and also have a text box to put on the car/vehicle for kids to use even more of their imagination then they already are. The kids love it.... My kids love this game, but I wish it was better, more educational. I remember having an old computer game where I could create cars, afterwards I could out them in an air tunnel and learn about aerodynamics. And after that I could race them. I didn't get to drive or anything, but the computer out it on s race course and told me how it did. I would love to see those features added, better yet, let the kids choose a course based on the kind o car they made and let them race it through the course.

Not at all what I expected.. This game is boring and lacks any of the things I thought a game like this might have. There is no music or sound when playing. When creating your car and adding parts it only allows 20 before you have to either start over or take some off. I thought maybe after completing your masterpiece the car would move or make some cool sounds and it doesn't. There is nothing fantastic about this game.

Ah, memories.. I remember when I would play this in Kindergarten. Very fun game, would recommend this for 3-7 year olds. Great game for little ones!

Super!. This is a really creative, fun game, even for adults. You can make all sorts of wacky cars, lots of acccessories to choose from, and everything it fully editable. Only one suggestion for improvement: the only thing I couldn't edit was the name of the garage - I goofed when I first started and since then have to suffer with a lame garage name while my kids all have cool ones.

20 part limit is frustrating.. My child loves this game at school, but the 20 part limit in the app has him very frustrated. Whats the point of limiting the number of parts he can use?

Awesome. My son who is 5, loves this game, so many different ways and free parts to make all sort of cars, semi trucks, tractors ect. He loves hot pipes and he can turn the key and see it all move and smoke come out the pipes. Just wish he could test drive it too.

Design cars. This item caught my eye because you can build your on fun car I am 60 yrs of age an I have just as much fun as my 2 grandsons ages 4 an 6 yrs old. Thank you for this great app.

Two year old loves it. My two year and a half year old loves it on iPad and can do it all by himself, but he is really smart and persistent. Age without any help is probably four or five for most.

Reviews appear to be fake. Was duped into buying this game by the high reviews and description that says its easy for kids. The UI for this game is hard even for adults and not suitable for little kids. There is a ton of tiny unreadable instructions and nothing intuitive. I don't believe the description that says apple employees recommend. My kids were excited to try but quickly got frustrated.

Fun for all ages. My kids & I love the Create a car app. I like that the kids have separate garages to store their creations. A password or locking function for the garages would be helpful in keeping sibling peace. Love the positioning, the number of car bodies & sizing tools. How about adding coloring, fenders, window shapes & other customizing tools in the upgrade?

Omg. I downloaded this game in 2010 when I was 5 years old... this brought back so much memories and I’m crying right now wishing I could go back.

App Missing a Game.... My kids and I really enjoy the other apps by this company, but this one seems to be a build a car module in need of a game added on to it. Their other games, such as Rocket Math, are much deeper and more robust, with a lot of educational value. This may be good for very young kids, but mine (ages 7 and 9) disengaged and went back to Rocket Math pretty quickly. My son's question: "You can't drive the car you make?"

Fun!. My 5-year-old has a lot of fun with this app. He and his friend try to outdo one another with their creativity. Lot's of opportunity for creative thinking!

Family Favourite. We've had this since the iPad was launched, and my son, then not even two, because very adept at creating and storing his inventions. I quite like the limit on the number of parts available, otherwise younger kids would simply fill the page with stuff and you'd never see the chassis! Newer version a considerable improvement, but still some crashing issues from time to time ... the app, not the cars ;)

Very cool!. Keeps my 5 year old entertained for hours. Very user friendly and love that you can start the cars and watch all the parts in action!

Terrific app. I have many apps on my iphone for my grandkids. Most are "used up" fast. Some children's apps sound great when you first buy them but they end up being a disappointment. Unfortunately many become repetitive quickly,or they just aren't creative. Our family found this one a great find. The kids play it over and over, always coming up with more designs and ideas to put together their automotive masterpieces. . The trick of starting up the engine and watching the moving parts do their thing is the final thrill.

Best game ever but needs improvements. I wish you could choose how fast you want your car to be,and give us the ability to design your car. If these are possibly added i,ll give you a big fat 5 star rate.

Great app!. I am an educator and use Create a Car with students who are preschool to 5th grade. It is so well designed, with well thought out features and play levels. The students LOVE it!! Imagine their excitement when they discover they can drive the car they just designed! They are also motivated to see who can reach the most miles on the obstacle course. It's fun to see them scramble to problem-solve for revisions to designs that will help them win more miles. Would love the option to have more saved player slots. Thank you!!

Best. I'm 7 and found this game from my school when we had computer class and it was so fun I had to buy it.

Think like adult, design like a kid.. I put the app on my phone for the kids, but I have the most fun. It looks like a (really good) kid's drawing, but there's plenty of room for an adult's seasoned imagination. I hold back on the fifth star because of some of the basic-ness of the tools, and also my own fingertip can get in the way of seeing the car-part I'm trying to move around. Otherwise, fun for the whole family!

We love this "game". Our 4 1/2 year old loves this game! Cute, even for adults. The title of the app is exactly what it is. Cool that you can make parts smaller/bigger, flip them, and turn the ignition on to see all the moving parts after creating. Pretty sure there isn't annoying music playing while the cars are being created, either...a big plus. Great!

great update. my son is thrilled that he can drive his car and the scenery is really nice....BUT the cars are sooooo small when you go to drive them and the road is so huge......i would lime to see the size of the cars doubled..... really fun app...both my girl and boy love it

Very impressive game!. This game has great graphics and a lot of detail for the price! You choose your car body, then add bits and pieces to it like an engine, wheels, lights, time machine (!!), radar, decals - there is a lot to choose from. When you're finished you save it to your garage and when you start the engine the car fires up and all the added bits are animated (so smoke comes out of the exhaust, wheels turn etc). You can modify existing cars in your garage, or make new ones. Great for kids and quite fun for adults too! Looking forward to more updates with more bits to add.

Fun for kids. My son loves to create vehicles like fire trucks and cars with trailers. Sending them to the garage to make them move is kind of cool.

It's fun but..... Even my 4 year old doesn't like how the pieces don't fit quite right on the vehicles and the lack of defined rim choices got him down. If you could get a 360 degree look at the vehicle that would be cool too.

Not great for extended play. My son (he's 4 years old) and I had fun with this app as we made the first car together, but once we finished, it was quite anti-climatic. Since buying it and playing with it that first time, it's been left unopened.

My 2 year old loves it. I wish everything moved (not just some), but other than that, very cool. My two year old likes to start the engines.

looks fun but not. 5 year old disappointed. Once you build the car, there's nothing to do with it. No levels to drive it through. Not worth the money. Maybe a new iTouch user would be impressed, but it's a flop in this household.

More Variation. It is fun to build a car but there should be different sounds when you start up various configurations. Why can't you drive the cars? This is a good start but the program needs to be developed further.
