Great functionality but app keeps crashing. Love the look and features of the app. Radar seems to be on point. App keeps crashing while in use and has to be restated. Sometimes up to once every 10 minutes or so. PLEASE FIX and u could easily give a five star rating!

Great app but.... Been using it for years no problem but with this recent update, anytime your connected the radar with the app and you either lock the phone so the screen is off or if you put the app to the background it disconnects from the radar... THIS NEEDS TO GET FIXED... On another note to the developer instead of putting a link to the cobra website for app support which does not help why don’t you have it as a direct email or number because the onetime I called over the phone for support to cobra they did not know what to do

S120R EU remote radar. Works perfectly iPhone 13 running 15.4. I’m using it with CarPlay the radar auto starts without having to open the app. Works just as easy as wireless CarPlay. I have a new car ordered now cobra should put this unit back in production

Bought it , liking the product discription but. It’s say it can do proximity alerts and lane Change alerts and cop alerts , no succes with the sc200d. Total rip! Tech support says there’s no fixing it!!! Did get in a crack and the cam locked the footage to save for the cop. That work great. Boss was happy with the footage too. Map works but can’t use it for navigation. Speed limit warns are very nice to use in a iphone too!

If I’m not speeding then shut this thing up!. I am so tired of listening to endless alerts when the app should know I’m currently under the speed limit. Can you add a feature so that alerts are somewhat muted unless I’m actually speeding. In fact, make the alerts louder the more over the speed limit I’m going when radar is detected.

Don't bother if you don't have the detector. I bought the cobra 29 lx max as rest are still waiting to be unloaded from China. I tried the iradar and it does hook with Bluetooth on phone but only seems to show Air Patrol Everytime I turn app on, said subscription expired. I don't think so. Waze is a much better app and more widely used. Sorry but not impressed at all....

Wonderful App. Love the fact that it keeps a log of all the alerts that are set off on your travels. It will also flash Cop Spotted when there is a cop is sitting on the side of the road waiting to get you. Another great feature is that it alerts you for a very good distance from where the cop is actually sitting. The only down fall about this app I feel is that you can set it so that it doesn’t go off with store alarms and things of that nature. I just want it to be registered to go off with police radars, lasers or speed traps only. Other then that the app is very well put together!!

Great app. Extremely intuitive app with a bunch of customizable settings that has become part of my every day driving experience.

Wont let me use it. After I updated the app it wont let me log in. It says invalid email despite it recognizing it to reset my password. Keep in mind I tried to reset my password using my other emails and it said “not recognized” but worked with my main one I was attempting to log in with. So I know the email I used is right but it wont let me log in or use the app at all now. Not to mention ive started getting notifications it detects a K ban, and my car isn't even on.

Great App - BUT costly. I have used this app for quite a few years with at least 5 different detectors, but this is the first time I remember having to pay for the service. I could probably avoid seeing what others report, but they also included the displaying of current speed limits with the add on. That doesn’t seem really fair.

Great place improvement over previous release.. Has a lot of great features integrated into it. A lot like Waze app. The dash cam I bought seemed to have GPS built in however it doesn’t so you need theirs app to sync that data via Bluetooth to that device. Kinda weird. My only real complaint about the app is that once you go over the speed limit, on the ‘dash screen’ , the digital speed turns from white to red. There doesn’t seem to be any place to change this freestyle, even if you turn off the ‘over speed limit’ notification.

Can’t even register my device. I don’t understand… when I open the app it only gives me two options Login and Register. It will not let me register it keeps saying something went wrong. I’ve checked everything and nothing works. I have even tried on a different phone. Plz help

No longer works after update. Was never anything useful anyway but now since the update the App doesn’t even recognize my log in any longer though the cobra website does no problem, and guess what: the App no longer works if you are not logged into it. Kind of a shame considering the “new updates “ but I get more out of Waze for 5 bucks than I do with cobra for $50 bucks a year Plus hardware!

Update is crap. I have used this along with my cobra radar for several years now and loved it.....it’s crap after the update. This was a great device but then the update just happened. USED to be accurate and consistent probably 95% of the time with spotty reading only when going through heavily wooded areas. Now it’s not accurate but 20% of the time. Inaccurate MPH and sometimes doesn’t even pick it up. Radar is just ok now. Doesn’t read my battery voltage now. Why did you mess with a good thing? Why

Almost zero useful alerts. By charging for the app, adoption is likely too small to be useful. I bought a subscription and tested this app side-by-side daily with Waze in a highly populated area of California. This app maybe achieved 1% parity with Waze alerts. No false positives, but in a month, I counted ONE time when I observed an alertable event that was actually represented in this app. The rest of the time, it was stupidly silent. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t like Waze. It’s a nightmare for anyone who values privacy. I was in search of a replacement for advance notice of speed traps, which is why I tested this app. This app was a huge disappointment. I’m still looking for a viable alternative to Waze.

Not bad. I use this app with my cobra 480i and it’s not bad. When it comes to the connectivity of the app and the radar together It’s pretty good. When I’m driving the miles per hour on my radar is consistent with the actual speed that I’m driving at. I used the drive smart app Like the box told me to and when driving with that app it’s super delayed so I prefer this one. The app itself is kind of outdated and with the newest iPhone right now, it doesn’t the best together. The Maps on the app itself is really bad so I usually use Waze and keep this app running in the background on my phone so we can update the speed on my radar and that’s it but if you were trying to use this app alone I wouldn’t recommend it but if you’re using a different maps app, and keeping this running in the background while driving it doesn’t work bad. If they just fixed the UI and make it work better with new phones and the Maps better I definitely a better score.

Problematic. The radar did not come with a manual so I had to look it up to remotely get the radar to correctly operate without constant beeping and No cops around? This radar is very difficult to understand all the technical stuff you have to do? I feel I wasted my money on this… it doesn’t work correctly. It’s not at all easy to understand? What’s up with NO manual for the price I paid for it?

Bug fixes/features. It’s good majority of the time However it connects to my radar and the speed will show “0”. I also think there should be more features

Please fix app!!. I have to delete the road scout from my Bluetooth list everyday so it will reconnect to the device. It should automatically connect and reconnect when app is running in the back ground I should only have to open the app in the morning and regardless of how many time I enter or exit the vehicle as long as the app is running in the background it should automatically connect. Once app fixed I will adjust rating.

App needs to be updated. I’m not sure why they just stopped updating the app.. it would be a much more truthful and convenient statement if you actually had an operational app to use like it says on the box. I have a cobra radar system and the app is absolutely useless LOL it does nothing. I’m sure if you did a bug fix and complete system update it would be much smoother and more operational. Thanks

I’ll give it zero stars if I could. No battery voltage. If you turn on the battery voltage it automatically shuts down radar detector. The app is also not Apple CarPlay adaptable so what good is the app and the mapping if you can’t displayed on the screen. Can’t control city or highway. When I’m not 95 it goes off so much. The old app was better easy to control less battery drain and now we have to pay for this app signing in for one year looks like bye-bye to me in a year.

Subscribe never had to before. I’ve had my iRadar for years now. But the other day driving on a long trip it stopped displaying speed limit info and alerts. Now flashes a prompt for me to pay. Saying my subscription was up. I never had subscription. Now the device is garbage because of a bait and switch years later. I won’t pay $4.99 a month for something that was free for 5 years.

Not as friendly as the original app. I hadn’t used iRadar for several months. When I attempted to open the app today, it wouldn’t open unless I registered with iRadar online. I was in the Colorado mountains in an area with no cell service. The app would not open. Instead, the screens boasted about the improved app but would not open without online registration. VERY FRUSTRATING! Clearly the app was designed by someone who doesn’t get far from home and who doesn’t think outside outside his/her own limited box. It was 2 hours until I had WiFi access at a restaurant and could register my app. Once registered, I opened an app that is much less user-friendly than the previous app. I am very disappointed with this product! 😖

Good road tool. I don’t have a lot to say. I bought my first iRadar after being caught in a small town speed trap. Liked it enough to buy a second when the first failed. My question is, can you make this Apple CarPlay comparable? That would make it almost perfect.

What’s the point of downloading?. Bought a dash cam not to long back and installed it in my truck. Dash came works great few bugs but nothing major. On the box it tells you to download load this app to access the camera that way I can quit pulling off my window. So I downloaded it got the camera connected and lo and behold nothing works can’t access the camera or it’s data and all of the features that this app offers I can already do with my vehicle. In all what I’m trying to say is...... one star, don’t waste your data!

Needs an update badly. This app is badly outdated. No routing function so you have to switch between Google Maps and iRadar. They use an old low resolution format so when an alert comes up you can barely see the map. There are no instructions to indicate how the buttons to mark items work. Also does not base community alerts on the road you are traveling on, so you get lots of alerts from adjacent or crossing roads, including on the highway where this is distracting and dangerous - had to turn off red light canera alerts for this reason. Does not measure speed or speed limit accurately - kept getting over speed limit alerts on the highway when traveling below my speed threshold - system thinks the speed limit suddenly jumps to 35 on a 65 mph interstate - had to turn off that feature, too. About the only thing that works well is that it has the locations of the ubiquitous speed cameras in NYC. Connects to my i480 fine, though will not auto adjust sensitivity for speed and there should be controls for the detector built into the app such as mute. Good idea, weak execution and badly in need of upgrades.

App vs device fixed! MUST READ!!. If you PC update your device firmware, you have to reinstall this app for the new firmware to understand it, or the app will not work with the device! DON’T FORGET THIS!

APP update failed 28 Apr 15. Same as every one else updated app 4.1 on 28 Apr and HELLO Black screen. Tried serveral ways of contacting Cobra. Finnally got thru by sending a message on their web site on the 30th of Apr. I heard back 6 May in the evening -new update posted 4.1.1 and APP works again. Just felt left out in the wind a little bit. Cobra needs to work on keeping people posted when things like this happen. I only owned this system for less than a year. My family has several of these units and compared to the escort it is the better deal and better features in my opinion. Glad it works again. Really is a good deal. 29 Nov 2020 Still have my unit and it still works. Wish it was updateable, due to false alerts from newer vehicles with that crash avoidance system. I would buy an newer version if it was offered for the remote mounting S120EU. But I do not see one offered.

Strange update. The app has been updated. Well, first impression is -frustration. I really don’t need that voice telling me OVER SPEED LIMIT when I an just 1-2 miles over it. This is just impossible. Can you please correct the app with an option to turn this lady speed limit voice off?

Awesome Driving App!. Been driving with my new Cobra Road Scout and the new iRadar app and there is an Amazing amount of alert information coming thru the display of my detector and the app. It is so cool to have the alerts come thru my multi media system and override my music. I love this app!

Nice GUI, lost settings. While the new features and GUI are nice, we lost one very important feature: city versus highway sensitivity! With more and more vehicles in the road having their own radar for cruise control and accident prevention, I cannot drive 1/4 mile without multiple useless alerts, which makes the detector nothing but a false alarm. WHERE IS MY HIGHWAY SETTING???

Bluetooth fixed finally. The latest update fixed Bluetooth, thankfully. For some reason they still haven’t updated the app for the iPhone 14 Pro’s dynamic island, so the interface looks a little clunky still, but at least it’s working again!

This app use to work great. I hate the new updated app! It use to work fine before for many years without a hitch. Now it flashes the cobra logo screen and crashes. Tried dumping other apps off my phone, cleaned up the memory, deleted all email - text messages - and voice mails to free up space. Nothing helped. Tried to start app first. The irad radar unit crashes, same old same old. Did it in reverse still crashes. I consider this upgrade a piece of junk. Maybe you should have road tested it before you released it. If I don’t get a solution and fast. I think I might just get an escort set up.

Subscription faulty. Paid for a year subscription because it wouldn’t even allow me to pay for the month subscription first of all and than when I do pay for subscription it charges my card but i log into the app and the first thing that pops up is a message telling me my subscription has expired connect to a device or renew my subscription mind you I just paid for the 1 year subscription 10 minutes before I seen this message horrible way to keep a customer other than that the app is great but that’s a pretty big downfall in my eyes.

Kinda pointless paired with radar detector. Disconnects from radar detector randomly. Must have the app opened to connect. The only thing that it does to the detector (480i) is show current speed, speed limit(which can be useful in some cases), and enables the lockout feature. However, when you lock out a spot it only applies for that drive…not forever. At least thats what im noticing. I dont even bother trying to connect the detector to my phone anymore tbh

Connections and stability issues. Blue tooth is tricky to get working. Sometimes resetting it would work sometimes it doesn't. Like a coin flip. No more updates it seems or just poor communication from the company to customers. and more false alerts lately. Works great without the app features, but manly bought for the features. The wifi app works great for the camera. Would have been smarter to build one app inside the other for ease of use, or really 1 app with both features. but I guess they'd rather there customers do twice the work for their expensive unit, guess it's a money move for higher profits, less development. Another user made an excellent comment just use Waze maps and features and overlay your extra stuff on top

Subscription not required?. So I purchased a radar detector with the connected feature on purpose. The app worked great for a couple months and now it says that I need a subscription for it. The radar detector is connected and the app says that I do not need a subscription if I have a connected compatible radar detector. This will definitely change my review on the radar detector as well.

Glad to see updates. Nice to see the upgrades to the app for my iRadar , but not sure all the upgrades actually work as their supposed to? I’ve used the lock out feature several times in the same area and yet the radar detector keeps going off in those same areas where I locked it out. Another frustrating issue is I get false alerts for train crossings and there’s no train tracks for miles! Same with ambulances/emergency vehicles, etc. for some reason every time I got to my bank and facing the building I will get a false alert for train crossing and/or ambulance approaching. It’s comical and yet annoying at the same time! Also wish there was more time to get a chance to lock out a alert. At times I can’t get to the lock out feature quick enough before it disappears So the app/ radar detector could still use some work getting the bugs out! Hopefully those will be fixed and made better soon?

Great concept and functionality but bugs make it awful to use. I like the concept and functionality but many bugs make it almost impossible or unbearable to use. Many of the settings menu screens cannot be clicked. The fact that the app must be loaded for it to connect to the radar is annoying plus recently i must log out of my account and back in otherwise my phone will not even see the radar detector and yes i have erased the app and downloaded it again, reset my network settings and tried an identical radar. Iphone 13 IOS 16 and rad480i

Barely works. App force closes constantly. I’ve been keeping it open in the background so that it will automatically connect every time my camera turns on. Half the time it won’t connect and when I go to see if it’s still in the background it has closed on its own. When it’s working, it DOES notify you as well as does it send notification to the camera. However if you don’t check your camera every few minutes to make sure the Bluetooth emblem is WHITE and not gray *meaning it’s connected* it won’t always work.

Does App Work for Anyone. I downloaded app and bought monthly subscription. From first sign-in, screen had a pop-up that my subscription expired. I attempted to write company via their email address. That was a month ago and have yet to get a response. I searched reviews of the app with the purpose of finding out if the app is still in service for an update has not occurred in over a year. Truly just want to know status of app. I cancelled my monthly subscription, but would join again if had confirmation that service was working. Now I use Waze in conjunction with my Cobra detector.

Downgraded App. This used to be a great app. Now, some not so smart person decided to have bright green bars at all times making it a distraction—if everything’s OK ... why clutter things up ? The voltage read out was handy too; now it seems to be gone. When there’s an alert, the red is less prominent than the green. When you reach the speed limit, the digital speed read out turns to ‘invisible’ red numbers that you can just see in dim lighting & not at all in broad daylight. Come on now, who needs a radar app that you can’t read when you hit the limit ? If you drove under the limit you wouldn’t need radar in the 1st place. I leave the thing on in the background to utilize the full features of the detector & turn on another app to get a speedometer read out that you can actually see & other critical info

Poor subscription service. I have tried to subscribe to their premium version twice and both times it hasn’t actually upgraded me to anything. i have wasted over 100$ trying to get to the premium version but still i always get the message that my subscription has expired and i’m starting to hate this company because all they have done is take my money and not give me anything back. Would not recommend trying to purchase their premium service completely ineffective.

Radar 480i. The apps is good but not great, needs a lot of options to be update specifically the alert history, can’t even delete it and don’t have an option of saying there we’re actually none spotted camera In the area. In the device it’s self needs voice and tune updated, atleast have the option to choose what type voice or tune that can herd..

So far so good. So I was finally able to log in and use the app after it being down for over a week. And I gotta say, “looks and works much better than before. I’m liking the new format and how user friendly it is. I do have some recommendation. While in map mode, the navigation, report and speed icons are too big, and take up too much space on the screen. They need to be smaller like the traffic and volume icons. Second, the tool bar on top needs to disappear by tapping on the screen and reappear by tapping again. Giving the user a full screen of the map without obstruction. Third, the Bluetooth icon does not need to be on the screen because there already is a “device connected” telling the user it’s on. Good work updating it. I only gave it 3 stars because of the 3 things I mentioned should be addressed.

iRadar (Cobra detector). Will continuously run after your close out app and use up phone battery, Cannot type a physical address in the maps section, You basically have to drop a pin on the maps part and then hit directions . The radar itself is awesome , but they could update the app a lot better to go with peoples radars and increase the performance and make people want to buy their products !

RAD480i. Very user friendly. The live option is great if police still around when you get there. Recommend highly. Easily syncs with phone and Bluetooth.

Cobra Radar/ Laser 480i. The laser will pay for itself in one week, if you drive a car that police like to target, like my Audi it’s good to know where they are long before you see them, so if you’re having a spirited drive you’ll know when the fun is over. In addition, you will be alerted to red light cameras and other driving cautions. It never gave me a false alarm so far, if so you can make it less sensitive. Another plus is you can connect to the app and control the radar by phone.

A work in progress….. The app has not been updated in over a year now. If you manually set an over the speed limit warning for say 7 miles an hour over, the setting will disappear as soon as you connect to the radar detector. This appears to be a bug. Also when I input a speed camera location within a few days it disappears from the map! That behavior needs to end!

My opinion. Fair is the best I feel about the app. I have owned 4 Cobra Radar Detectors & I think they are the best. The app is beneath your Radar standards. Additionally I am being harassed by notifications that are NOT VALID. What good info does SHARED RADAR provide to me? Most Red Light Camera’s in NJ, PA & DE have not been in service because is was determined that these devices have a failure rate at 8%. Can I stop the SHARED RADAR & THE RED LIGHT CAMERAS? Please help, I drive 35-40,000 miles a year. Lawrence Levin, Marlton. NJ

Useless. It doe not work in Australia, Singapore and Japan at all. I just happen tested it with 3 different speed detectors and the iradar did not respond to any of them. It does only alert automatic doors and signal from Macca, greyhound bus. Suck

Thank you for the update.. The new update has improved it. Yet there is still a problem with the signal strength and alert notification. The iradar unit does not detect mobile units unless it is with in a 100 meter if not less, distance.

Cam recorder. Excellent device

Does not work in Australia!. I wish I had read the other review before purchasing.. Just spent 3 hours of my time I will never get back trying to install it and wondering why it wasn't working!

Lost features. I used to love this app, worked great but now all these changes have just become more of a distraction. There is no way to register false signals now only mute them temporarily. You cannot switch easily between city & highway mode, you need to stop your car & manually go into the app & change the sensitivity. The dash readout has lost its sensitivity & now jumps all over the place & lastly while I live down under it has no record of speed limits & as such does not display any speed info on the maps. You would have been better working on an intergration into the Waze app.

Can’t set up radar. The app keeps crashing when I’m trying to register an account, I need to connect my 480i to the app but its consistently not working and keeps crashing.

I-radar. Great unit, great price. Better than others I've had.

Thanks for the update. Works great!. The most recent update is a great step on building this app. Works great the way it is, but better music integration and the ability to run in the background and pop up when notifications are needed would be some great ideas if the app wants to keep progressing.

Does not work. Bought a $400 paper weight dash cam I guess. Tried to connect over Bluetooth and the device will not show up in the app or under Bluetooth settings.

Great app needs audio fix. Would get five if I didn't have to restart my tunes every time a warning came on. Like others have said it needs a fix.

You have written on you website forums that a correction for the audio if forthcoming. The only thing preventing a 5 star and most probably a spike in sales is the audio capability. As mentioned the radar warning for the App comes from the detector and not from the iPhone device. Many apps have music interruption when presenting a warning. Regardless of whether it is a car or motorcycle, when you are listening to the iPhone/IPod or GPS and the warning does not come over that same source, it is all washed out. Make the promised upgraded and you will truly have a one of a kind Radar Detector that will stand above all. I highly recommend the detector once they workout the software situation otherwise it is a reduced function Trapster.

Can’t create account. Might not hurt to update your app after a years time since the last one. Bought the radar detector and downloaded the app. Every time I try to create an account the app crashes. I have the iPhone Xs. I’ve reinstalled it multiple times and tried turning phone off then back on. No change. Will be returning the detector soon if this can’t be remedied.

Iradar is awesome. This handy tool has saved me a few tickets already. I don't speed like a madman but 15-20 over on the highway. Thanks.

Visual. Too much useless info on the screen at all times. Voltmeter, speedometer? An option that would black out the screen UNTIL an alert, which should be realistically a flashing red light would be better. Plus a HUD mirrored option would be nice.

CarPlay not ready!!!. Should be integrated with CarPlay. It’s the only thing that is missing

Surete du Quebec. I love the Bluetooth capability. But the Surete du Quebec outside of Quebec City can detect iRadar. So all u users passing thru that area, be aware.

Not worth it as it is now.. iRadar needs an overhaul! I was really looking forward to this piece of hardware....until I tried it. Here's the rundown: PRO: Works like a reg radar detector. CON: Works like a reg radar detector. The app is useless. 1. Unfortunately, there is NO advance notice of known radar sites. If there is a known radar trap at coordinates x,y, you don't know until you are RIGHT on the x,y site! Even 'Trapster' (search it on app store) puts a large detection 'bubble' around your car....giving you MUCH advance notice BEFORE you hit the trap or red-light cam. Also, when some alerts DO show on the iPhone screen, they are a quick flash....too quick to read! Also, I tried reporting a trap.....the 'Thank-you' box stayed on the screen and blocked it FAR too long! Also....and I've read this complaint before...there are no AUDIO alerts through the iPhone! Much needed for bikers like myself. All in all......COULD be a great system. For now, if you have the money....buy s reg Cobra Radar detector! If you don't, I HIGHLY recommend 'Trapster'.

Question. If you pay the subscription, does the GPS actually work like a GPS???

Nice but could use work.. It's pretty good. I use it along with the iradar detector and it has warned me about upcoming speed traps and police. Just wish it ran a little smoother.

unable to link my iphone via bluetooth. A nice detector bit several flaws: can’t link my IPhone X to the radar via bluetooth. You can select English or metric for the speed display, however all the rest is in mph only. Quite frustrating

Refund. Paid 80$ for subscription and it didn’t even activate. i want my money back or make the subscription work.

App Goes Blank. My app suddenly goes black after the initial cover page. I deleted it, redownloaded it and still.. Was the best now it's nothing..

App is inferior to Escort Live and Waze!. Poor design, old alerts continually pop up that are of zero use, very frustrating!!!!

There's always a but.... It would be really nice if I could set certain points as false. There is a school zone by my house with a K band that always goes off. I don't want to permanently turn off K band but I also don't want it to go off in a place I know there's nothing . Add that feature and you can have your last start! :)

IOS Integration and custom alerts. The detector appears to work good on the highway but as other users commented it would be excellent to have the sound incorporated into the iOS device so it would lower music volume, play the alert then resume music playback. The best tweak I feel would be an asset is the ability to select different alert tones for different warning types so you wouldn't have to look at the phone to see what the alert was as most times I miss what the voice said from the detector itself. This would mostly be avoided by iOS integration as I first mentioned but a quick custom sound alert would also be a nice addition.

Works great. Some people seem to be expecting a freebie on the app, but the app is working just fine with my purchase of the 480i and so far it has worked flawlessly.

iRadar. Just got it. Like it. Would like a setting so you can control how long the display of the alert stays for, a lot of times it flashes so fast I don't have a chance to tell it it's a false alarm. Also sometimes the false alarm doesn't take and it keeps alerting. Other than that pretty happy with it.

Good app. Works quite well most of the time, speed and direction are hit & miss (app or 3GS?). Occasionally warns of a train coming in the middle of a parking lol... Lol! Keep up the good work!

Works great.. This app works as advertised. Detects all bands and gives you a heads up for any radar and traffic cams. Also for the app to have full functionality you need either the Cobra iRad-100 or iRad-200.

Not happy. Every time I connect it to my app just kicks me out. If I don’t use the app it works but not being able to use the app kind of defeats the purpose. It would be nice to change the language as well.

Car audio issues. When using phone via USB for playing music on iPhone with a deck that controls all music functions, the audio from the app disables iPhone music. Should be a passive mute-alert-resume, just as the gps does. Sad to say this is why I am not in favor of this app....until they fix this issue. There should be no reason to have to go and re-select the playlist or song that gets interrupted by iRadar. Missed a step there boys and girls...

Great app and detector. New to this detector but with luck I have had from cobra before I decided to give this a try, so far I'm pretty happy with it

Wi Fi enabled. It would be nice if it was updated to WiFi enabled. Also be able to monitor the car when in park mode if it is triggered. Also be able to see and save videos on the phone.

The purpose of this app is?. I downloaded this after installing my new Drive HD dash cam. Does it allow you to adjust any settings on the camera? Nope! Does it allow you to view or download video to your phone? Nope! Apparently, the only thing i can see that it does is embed GPS and speed info onto the video. For that, it requires you to connect to the device EVERY SINGLE TIME your phone gets within range of the camera. Grab your phone and run into the store? Gotta reconnect. Forget something in your house and run back in real quick? Gotta reconnect. This app is worthless.

Keep crashing down. Garbage app, keeps crashing down as soon I start driving, I tried on my phone, then I installed it on my wife’s iPhone, exactly the same, it works until car starts moving. Must by something wrong with GPS readout. I tried 2 different iPhones and 2 different cobra units.

Connection Issue. Anytime you’re connected to the radar and then lock your phone, it’ll lose the connection after a minute or so. You have to either keep your phone unlocked or reconnect constantly. This needs to be corrected ASAP - it’s been like this for way too long.

Don’t bother. Paid for the upgrade and never received my purchase, keep getting subscription expired! I purchased a remote under the hood radar detector and only works with this application? So I’m screwed. Next purchase will be from another company!

Save your Money, I want a refund. This app continues to crash no matter how many times you uninstall and reinstall it. To me the map feature never really did work well. The dashboard side, well that’s makes the app crash too. If you’re stilling in a parking lot the apps pull up and work. As soon as you begin to drive it crashes. While car is moving it just will not stay up. Crashes within 5 seconds. I at least would like the dashboard so I can see what alerts and strength it’s detecting. The only way I got the dashboard to stay up was by turning off the cellular part of the phone. So it can’t see itself move. So now I just have a paper weight.

Nice app but could use improvement. Would like to have it auto connect with out opening app and go to auto mode and have car play integration so I don’t need to have my phone out

Can’t log in. I just did the update and now I can’t log in. A box pops up that reads “error”. It worked fine before the update. I look through the website for customer support and didn’t find any contact info.

Some many bugs lately. I've recently noticed that my radar doesn't do the alerts over the Bluetooth. It also keeps disconnecting from my phone. The MPH on my radar doesn't always match what's being displayed on the app that's on my phone. The MPH on the radar will just got to 125mph and it'll get stuck there.

Horrible. The main problem is that the device/app doesn’t automatically pair with my iPhone when I get in the car. For it to do that, I have to forget the device and re-pair again every time, and even then, it still doesn’t show up in the app, states no radar detector found.

Old version is better. The old version we could use the map as a GPS and navigate by inputting address Now it does not have that feature No gps

Don’t work. I purchased a Cobra i480 and downloaded this app, it will allow you to register, but will not allow you to log in. I’ve tried different ways to register and still says invalid email/password. Don’t waste your time with this App.

Worthless, no app support, don’t buy a Cobra. Sort these reviews by “most recent” and you will find terrible ratings with no response by Cobra app developers They don’t care, obviously, so back to the store with my radar detector for a refund DO NOT buy a subscription, Cobra radar detectors NOT recommended

Update. I bought this radar detector bc not only did it scan for police but it would tell you your altinater out put while running or not but now this feature is gone. How and who gives you the right to take stuff away that was a saleing feature that gets folks to buy your product then remove it with no notice. Wish I could get a refund now bc this is crap.

Excessive Crashing. I haven’t even been able to make it past the Register screen. I just got a radar and every time I try to register to use the app, it crashes and takes me to my Home Screen. My phone is updated and everything. Any tips?

Latest version crashes. The latest update will crash the app periodically. When sitting in traffic there needs to be an option to silence the radar alerts. Here should be a distinction between actual radar alerts and the signals given from other vehicles with advanced technology. The mute button is less prominent, smaller, and harder to select when driving.

Needs a update for iOS 13.2. This radar is for older iPhones needs updates for new iPhone

Cannot purchase subscription. The app has some kind of glitch with Apple where it doesn’t process as a subscription but as a one time purchase which the app doesn’t recognize. Clicked on app support and the website doesn’t exist. I guess they don’t want my money.

Connection Issue. Just purchased the Cobra DualPro 360 and I can not get it to connect to Bluetooth. The connection keeps dropping. Deleted the app and reset the iPhone 11 Pro Max connection and still can not get it to connect to the app. I had a previous Cobra iRad radar detector and it keeps dropping from Bluetooth as well. Something needs to be updated to fix this issue.

Cannot Create Account or Log In. The old version did not require logging in, this one does. That’s fine except that it does not freaking work! Cannot create an account, cannot log in. Total junk, might get rid of the radar detector and go with a different brand... it’s useless to me right now.

Apple Car Play Supporr?. Not sure new to this app seems like a great app similar to Waze app community with radar. Does this app work within the apple carplay screen like waze? or can this be utilized together or within the waze app?

New Update Needed. The radar detector itself works great but the alert history in the app doesn't update when you get alerts. A new update to the app would be greatly appreciated.

Best Bang for Buck. For the price of the subscription and its features absolutely one of the best radar out there

App stopped working with irad 100.. Bought the irad 100 detector specifically for its integration with the iPhone. After cobra app update it stopped working with irad 100. Now it is trying to force me to pay for a subscription that was already included with the detector when I bought it. Actually that is how it was being advertised.

I liked the app for the 3 years I used it, but now they want me to pay a subscription. I already paid $120 for the detector, which said is compatible with the app, which is was, and functioned as advertised, as it should. But now I have to pay for a subscription in a world of subscriptions? Yeah feels like a cheap shot, maybe it’s just time to upgrade to escort.

Spontaneously quits within 15 seconds. I tried this app with both a DualPro 360 and a Road Scout. It crashes every 15 seconds more or less, whether connected to the Cobra device or not. I was ready to buy a subscription, but it’s pointless, as this app is worthless. (I have an iPhone 11 Pro on T-Mobile.) The radar detectors are fine, so I’ll just go back to using Waze and Apple CarPlay.

No auto connect. App does not connect to your phone automatically via WiFi or Bluetooth have to attempt a 15 min setup to get everything connected each tone you enter your car. Annoying fix please

No navigation. No navigation or directions to your destination. That’s my biggest complaint. Connection is very complicated with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Needs a facelift. This app is out of date and touch to the the least..it needs a upgrade and is need in need of a much needed 2023 upgrade. It’s more or less comes off like an app from 2007 and it dose work but unless your in the app and have it open it didn’t do anything

My radar can barely connect to the wifi. I was very excited about this but man oh man, the Radar barely connect to the internet so i cant never get the actual city speed or whatever else the community share so each one of us can benefit from this

Something went wrong and won’t register. Been trying to register and log into this app but every time I try to register and fill out the required fields, a message pops up saying something went wrong and doesn’t go any further. I tried on my iPhone and my iPad and same error message appears. What am I to do now?

Connect app to device. The phone keeps showing the phone is trying to connect with device for 15 mins

Needs more features. The app seems alright. I didn’t know I’d need to pay for the extras, I had assumed they would be pet of the dash cam I bought. A feature I would appreciate would be adding an option to download clips from the cam via Bluetooth with this app

Paid for subscription but not showing up. Bought a subscription but still says expired. Contacted apple support who confirmed it’s paid. Then I went to app support and the only form to fill out looks like a job application or something. I’ve been charged for a subscription I can’t use, please help me!!!!

Worked fine once. Stopped communicating with my 480i and the Cobra site offers ZERO troubleshooting so my 30 year relationship with Cobra had come to an end. Another great tech that went cheap and avoided customer service

Loss of Bluetooth connectivity. Says that it was fixed 2mo ago but there are still connection problems. Keeps disconnecting and then doesn’t let me even connect.

Road speed limits with Road Scout. Data is ancient and has never been updated to current speed regulations especially on newer roads that have been open for up to the last 5 years. Very disappointed on the software app and updates to the device. No need to subscribe, waste of money.

Can’t register to use the app. I can’t even register and sign in so I could use my cobra Road scout when are you guys going to do an update Every time I fill out the registration stuff and put the password once I hit submit it just closes the whole app

Lame. IDE give zero because I had a geographical map to look at for a month which by the way was void of even a “camera” more less an officer in my state. Guessing the reader is not only enthrall to the functionality of this app but a requirement or its usefulness. Without the purchase of instrument this app is the most useless app I’ve ever encountered in my life.
