SPARE by Prince Harry. Thank you Prince Harry for pouring and sharing your soul, allowing us to truly hear the truth, the real truth, facts, from the “horses mouth”. I am deeply sorry for all of the sorrows , disappointments and those who were disloyal to you, from your own family! I truly admire your courage, your service (universal), the good you have been able to do around the world. I am happy you found your soulmate and that you have a beautiful family of four. I despise those who have bullied (your family and tabloids), dehumanized Meghan, she does not deserve such a treatment; I “know her” from suits, followed her philanthropic work, loved her Tig, her blog… she is a beautiful soul and woman, you two are lucky to have each other. Congratulations on an amazing book and audio, I loved hearing your voice, it felt as if you were talking to me. Many of my friends who have read your book say the same, your narration gives the book so much light and life. As I finished your book tonight, during my evening walk, once again you have proved that you have always been right… I say this because in the last two days, many revelations have been learned from your suing the tabloids. I want you yo know that your book have opened many peoples eyes. I want you to know that you and your little family is LOVED around the world! Carry on Prince Harry, we are rooting for you four!

Well done!. this book is interesting. I am not a tech type guy and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It takes its reader through the history and background so we can understand where all the hubbub around 5G is coming from and the influence China and other influencers have had on the new technology and telephony technology in general. China is truly a bad actor but in a way you can’t blame them, they work under their own set of rules. Because they have long strategic plans for the CCP to control much of the world. To them there are no rules to getting to their destination. But we must not be enablers in there world domination. Early on we certainly shared way too much information and we did not protect our intelligence and innovation as we should have. But the good news is there are things we can do to reclaim prominence in the telephony field by unlocking innovation by reducing regulations. One of the things we must do is put country before pure profits by having good policies in tact to better protect America. Because this has such geopolitical concerns the US and private companies need to work much better together that in no way shape or form picks winners and losers. This is our big challenge going forward.

Save your eyes. Truthfully speaking, I have never been a fan of reading. This is a bit ironic being I hold a MSBA in business. But then after discovering Audible, wow I’m amazed with all that I am listening to. In my profession, I’m on the computer several hours in any given day. So by days end the last thing I want to do is pick up a physical book and read. Seriously, I use to turn articles into PDFs , use the computer ‘listen to’ feature, bout music in the background and write notes for my class. An occasional glass of wine certainly helped. One podcast for a required class (book was online) the professor who narrated the book was so monotone you’d fall asleep. By the end of the class session in the podcast I would have a great nap. So instead I went to the gym, Wales on the treadmill and stayed awake. The pint is that wa 14 years ago and technology as well as people’s skill have evolved over time for the greater good. I would especially live to thank audible for creating this platform and the many authors and narrators who provide valuable content. I’m constantly inspired and appreciate being an Audible ‘Superfans.’ Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Kudos to the developers. I’m back to loving the app! My original negative review is below. I got a response from Audible developers who instructed me on how to remove the Alexa button. It was actually very simple, but I couldn’t figure out how before, and had even contacted Audible Help (before I wrote the review) but the rep said Alexa couldn’t be removed. So I’m very happy again with this app. And I’d like the Alexa button if it were in a different location in car mode. Here’s my original review: The new Alexa button is annoying, and frankly, a little dangerous. I used to be able to hit the "rewind" and "bookmark" buttons in car mode without looking down at my screen while driving. Now I have to look at the screen to hit those buttons because otherwise I accidentally hit that HUGE Alexa button at the bottom of the screen. (Which interrupts my book.) Super frustrating. Sure, I could use the Alexa button instead, but it takes longer to hit the button and say "rewind 10 seconds" than just hitting the rewind button like I used to be able to easily do. The Alexa button isn't a bad idea, but why couldn't they have put it somewhere else, and not make it so big? This has ruined the app for me. I sure hope they fix this terrible design in future updates. I’ll gladly change my 2 star rating to a 4 or 5 if they do.

Run Towards the Danger. I cannot describe the profound impact this book has had on me. ALL Polley’s essays deeply penetrated my psyche in ways that can only be described as some mysterious, alchemical nectar that has possibly saved my life. I am recovering from a heart attack (2 weeks ago) which required a stent and a cocktail of drugs which have resulted in innumerable side effects, including profound weakness, headaches and dizziness. I have not, historically, responded at all well to pharmaceutical drugs, having already been dealing with dizziness which commenced 12 hours after a Covid booster more than a year ago, a “vaccine injury” for which there is no remedy. Polley’s final essay has given me hope just as I had begun contemplating how much easier it would be to simply die. At this point I have no way of knowing if the strategy of attacking my symptoms will have the effect of healing my neurologically challenged brain in the way that it helped the author, but I am committed to giving it a go. I realize that this review is likely too personal to print, (“TMI”, perhaps?) but if you would be so kind as to pass along my deepest gratitude to Ms. Polley it would be much appreciated. Thank you, Nell Luce

Great selection of books, but I have a few complaints. I like this app specifically because of the variety of books on it, but there are some things that really bother me. For one, the cheaper subscription gives you limited access to the audible library, which I find disappointing and annoying. Then when I switched to the more expensive subscription I found out I’m not even allowed to get multiple books with my subscription anymore! I don’t know when that changed, but it wasn’t like that a few years ago when I first started using the service. The first time I had an audible subscription I was allowed to download multiple books with it and accumulate credits to spend on extra books. So after coming back to audible and re-registering for a subscription I was extremely disappointed and frustrated by the fact that you can ONLY use you single credit a month to download books, even if you bought the most expensive subscription. I think this change is ridiculous and I would be a lot happier is audible switched back to how it was years back when I had my first subscription.

It’s great, but…. Love audible. I’ve happily listened to over a hundred books, again and again. It’s great, but for one thing: You must be online, to listen to a book that’s stored locally, on your phone. I know, that’s the way most apps are, but again, it’s stored right there on my phone! There’s no doggone reason it shouldn’t be able to store a couple bytes of data for a bookmark and let you listen when you’re offline or heaven forbid you drive through a data dead zone. When finally the marvelous world of high speed digital data returns, at that point audible can joyously reconnect with the mother ship and sync all the data needed to keep all your metrics and ability to listen across other devices which I never have to do. “We’re sorry, a problem has occurred,” and the book starts over. I have a huge collection of screenshots that I habitually take to make sure I save my place. Please. Allow temporary offline listening! It’s those times especially when I need a good book. That’s the one thing “in my book” that would elevate audible to a truly perfect listening experience! But really. It’s great. Listen to literature. Expand your mind.

Wounded Man Speaks his Truth. Very glad I listened to the Duke tell his story. What a tragic family. And beautiful to hear his first-person account of historical events (or fictions that tabloids created). The media reviews that led up to this book release don’t even come close to conveying the spirit of the book, which makes sense, since the tabloid media are one of the top villains throughout his life (as illustrated again and again in his memoir). I wonder if one day King William will have more fortitude and less vanity and insecurity than his Dad King Charles to try to prevent the same destructive forces from ripping his own children apart. If the monarchy endures. When the time comes, William may have greater insight into what happened between him and Harry. However, the whole institution of the monarchy seems to breed mistrust, pettiness, and require emotional disconnection from the top ranked family members. The memoir covered many aspects of his life I didn’t know about, like the substance use, his Apache pilot training, and how he gravitated to surrogate parents in his beloved Botswana. And the depth of his loss. I also appreciated a non-caricature understanding of his wife Meg, and all she and her family also endured.

Revisiting Justine at 70. I think this is the third time I’m making my way through the Alexandria Quartet, my life’s most rewarding literature, by the exquisite wordsmith and storyteller, Lawrence Durrell, also great friend and admirer of my other literary hero, Henry Miller. Justine is the first of the quartet, and perhaps my favorite, and no matter how many times I read it or hear it, it is always fresh, literately exciting, and enlightening to me. Such insight Into love, jealousy, intrigue, life, and death. I remember when I first read it, perhaps 50 years ago, with a dictionary. It feels so different now, no longer in my years of great sexual passion, but older, wiser, and more humbled by life. I highly recommend listening to Durrell, particularly with this reader, Nigel Anthony, because I have heard other readers chew up the scenery; while Mr. Anthony has created more subtle characterizations and offers Durrell‘s literature as the great feast it is. I think you’ll agree that listening to a great book with a good reader is a very different experience than having read it before yourself. I look forward to the next three books with unbounded literary hunger and excitement. Enjoy.....

Why take away what works? (another edit). I am not sure why there were so many changes in the last two updates, but they are definitely not for the positive. As many other users have complained about no longer seeing/playing the rest of the series books in order when we can review, as we have for years, why remove it and make this platform non-user friendly? If anything else, please add a selection for books leaving the Audible Plus library. I have found some great books when browsing but it is not easy to find those leaving and it seems only the popular books show. Between this platform and Chirp, I listen to hundreds of books every year. Previous but still applicable: What happened to the Audible Escapes logo on the books when searching? It made it so easy to find those books in that subscription. Also, please bring back the section for “First in a Series”. That was so incredibly handy as well when it was under the “Romance” package. Now I have to try and find an author’s website to search for beginning of series. It is a shame that there are so many changes, and not in a good way with all the updates. It tends to keep locking up my phone, especially with the last several updates. I listen to at least one long book every day and I especially love the series.

Very helpful book. I have been on a mission (I am in my 40’s) to finally learn how to communicate everyday, including having difficult conversations. The author provided so much insight into how I was conditioned to respond in a certain way that has caused the receiver of the message to immediately shut down and become defensive. I listened to this book on my commute to and from work and learned so much that I can apply to everyone I talk to, both personally and professionally. I will admit, as other reviewers have stated, that the author’s voice has a slow dragging pace, so I fixed that by speeding up the audio to 1.2x and this reduced a lot of vocal clicks and made the pace more of a “normal” speaking speed without affecting the author’s message. I personally like hearing books in the author’s own voice as it conveys meaning exactly how author meant to convey the message without interpretation from another speaker (professional narrator or not). To me, hearing from the writer in their voice gives life to the message. I plan to go back and review some key areas which really spoke to me. I recommend this book to anyone, even if they think they know how to communicate. This book changed my life and perspective, and may very well save my marriage.

Finding Me. Viola Davis is incredible!! An incredible actor, person, mentor. I love love love listening to her recant her childhood, her life. The raw truth, the struggles, the pain, tragedy, disappointment, fear. The FORGIVENESS to her abusive dad. I cried a million tears because I was so touched that she was able to build a loving relationship with her dad despite it all……He knew she truly loved him unconditionally and left this life with that knowledge in his soul. It reminded me of my own dad 😭and our relationship. The courage to tell her story the good bad and the ugly. And there were plenty of ugly events that many would not survive. The love for the family despite their short comings. The sincere prayer to God to bring her Julius, the love of her life. Owning her roots and who she is, where she came from and where she is now. Not forgetting any of it. Ohhhhh, the trip to Africa. Gaining affirmation from the Mother Land that she is SOMEBODY…that we are all somebody and figuring out who that somebody is in this cruel world and taking a dignified stand. Standing tall as a beautiful, dark skinned sister, beautiful inside and out!! What an inspiration. Viola stated “The Purpose of Life is to Live It”. I’m so very inspired to live my life to the fullest, as tomorrow is promised to no one. Thank you Ms. Viola Davis….thank you. I loved it all. ME

A decent read. I went into this not knowing much about the inner workings of the royal family (or more honestly not caring much about the inner workings of the royal family), but wanted to learn more about the reason for the media frenzy surrounding Harry and Meghan. I came in with a less than favorable opinion of them based on the little media I’ve consumed about them. At best my view of Harry didn’t change much, or maybe even got a little worse (especially during the first 2/3 of the book) but my heart breaks for Meghan and their children. I think he he had presented the first 2/3 with the same tone he presented the last 1/3 of the book I would have come away with a much more favorable view of him, but to me he presented as a whiny resentful ungrateful brat until he met Meghan. IMO based on how he presented himself and Meghan she could do WAY better than him and I don’t really see what he brings to the table, but who knows what really goes on behind closed doors. While I am interested in learning more of their story after hearing how rabid and dangerous the media is surrounding them I won’t be participating in consuming it any more out of respect for the privacy he claims to so desperately need and desire. I’m walking away with a sense of “this REALLY isn’t any of my business.”

Love Audible books but... the app could be better.. 🎉 It did improve when the sleep timer was restored to the main page. Thank you! The purchasing feature is clumsy and annoying to use. It is difficult to find books from any for sale list. On my phone, the wish list and lists of books offered in different special categories are in a series of brief “pages” and to get to the end one of a long list must go through each page to the bottom in order to turn to the next segment. If you stop mid-list it is necessary to start over. GRRR! Also, no chance to go to a given page directly. As a result, I have no idea what is on the last 80% of my wish list or special offer lists or book category lists: takes too much time to peruse them all at one sitting or skip back page by page. A minor change in the last update I find annoying: when a book is finished, a persistent popup page makes it not possible to go back or go to different book without rating the one just completed. Previously one could opt out of the popup rating page. I normally rate books but do not always wish to do so. I have found a way out of it but it’s also annoying to have to do this extra step. On my iPad I can close the app completely and when I return to it rating demand is gone.

Above avg app with questionable prices. - MzB. I use Audible most of the time. Other times I use Kimble for the majority of my time reading. I get books anywhere from non-fiction to fiction to recipe books, ect. I listen to audio books when I'm doing other things or read my kindle books when I'm sitting, relaxing. I enjoy both very much and have had no problems with either. The only con I have is price. Kindle books are reasonably priced. Even books on CDs aren't too bad in price. But with those, you are interrupted by having to change the disc or if you stop and take a disc out to change it from one player to another, i.e., from a home player to a car, It's easy to lose your place. Kindle I can take with me to appointments, ect. Audible books I can listen to in the car as long as I have an auxiliary speaker. But my biggest complaint is the price. I pay a monthly fee to use the app and then pay an extra $20 to $30 for an audible book which I feel is an exorbitant price compared to Kindle or books on CDs. Audible may be convenient, but the prices are ridiculous, with as much as I read (or listen to).

A buggy piece of software. I use this app because I have to. It used to be great, but over the course of the past couple years, it’s become apparent that nobody at Audible actually uses or cares about this app. There are random crashes at least weekly, where the book will just stop playing and you have to restart the app. It refuses to honor the “don’t sync playback position” settings, so listening to the same book someone else in my family is listening to is a headache, since I have to constantly go back to my spot. They changed the “swipe to delete” feature to include an option to “add to favorites.” Like, honestly, how often does a user really add a book to their favorites, vs how often does a user want to remove a book from their device? Here’s a hint: literally every book will at some point need to be removed from the device. Unless literally every book is also added to your Favorites, then this is a bad feature and should be removed. Also, when opening the app fresh, why on earth is the first page ads for new books? 9/10 times I want to go to the book I’ve been listening to most recently, not shop for a new one. And while you’re at it, make the Extend Sleep Timer feature smart about the sleep timer you just set. A default of 30 minutes is useless to someone who sets 15 or 20 minute sleep timers.

Some people think owning a restaurant is glamorous. This will make you think twice!. Having owned two restaurants, I can tell you it is one of the hardest jobs you'll ever have! So much about running a restaurant… all the ins and outs are in this book. I could relate to a lot of what the authors were writing about. They hit the nail on the head that's for sure! I recommended this book to my book club. Someone gave it to me for my birthday after I had seen the owners of The Grey on the Sunday Morning Show. My book club will be meeting tomorrow night and I'm anxious to see how people felt about the book. One of the things that I really liked about it was hearing their perspectives on the same situation. The other thing I really enjoyed was the sharing of recipes. I have requested that everyone bring a dish from the book. This is going to make for some good eaten!!! I'm planning to bring the cocktails. The evening will begin with the Paper Plane and to finish the evening The Revolver... just one not two😉 I live in Augusta, Georgia, which is not too far from Savannah. I'm hoping to make it to the restaurant one day soon!

I Love Audible...But.... I’ve had Audible for nearly 5 years. I started as a way to help me get back to reading since physically reading was somewhat limited by reality. But now when I walk my dogs, run errands, go to the work related matters, drive for a long road trip, ride my bicycle, or even work in the kitchen, I always make sure to have books to listen to. My library has at least 300 by now, and I love seeing it grow. I also love the whisper sync for Kindle which lets me read or listen. I also love the integration with my Alexa devices. I can go from room to room without wasting my phone battery, and have her keep reading to me. Here are my only two recommendations:1- this is the most important. Please for the love of all that is holy let us organize our books by subject matter/ category or whatever we call it like we can in Kindle! I need to do this on my PHONE as I cannot scroll through the ALL my books to find old books I’ve forgotten are even there. I need to put them by category. Please please please do this most basic thing for your subscribers. 2- please have more whisper sync and more affordable ways to purchase kindle after purchasing the audible. Thank you.

How can anyone believe what the “Sewing Circle” and “mean girls” said?. I listened to this book once and loved it. A short time later I talked to someone about it and expressed how much I enjoyed it, saying it was so disappointing to see how Chief Gallagher was treated. This person, with an unusual look, said I needed to read “Alpha: Eddie Gallagher and the War for the Soul of the Navy Seals”. He said I might think different if I did. So I listened to it. I felt like I had been gaslighted so I decided to listen to “The Man in the Arena” again. I spent four years active duty Army and four years in the National Guard. And now I’ve been a cop for 32 1/2 years. I’ve investigated thousands of crimes - from minor things like theft and DUI, to major things like homicide and child sexual abuse. My second time through I listened closely to evidence and elements of a crime. And I compared all that to what I’d heard in “Alpha”. And I confirmed what I’d determined the first time through - that not only were Chief Gallagher’s accusers liars, they have no integrity or moral character. I already knew from my first reading that Chief Gallagher was an American Hero. And my second reading just confirmed that.

Most used app I have aside from gps. Love this app so much. Had it for years and does not disappoint. Thank you for being here, existing and being in my life. Such a great idea and concept. Sorry it took me so long to rate this amazing app! Get it, you won’t regret it, so many wonderful title and books and not over priced! Update: This is still a great app but it needs to be said that the home tab is waaay too much noise visually speaking. Way too many suggestions and advertised books for an app. It’s not a clean look and honestly it’s ugly. The app needs a more sleek minimalist feel for ease of use. I literally get anxiety seeing the homepage with all the extra books recommendations, catalogues and so forth. When I use the app I just want to get to the point not be defaulted to a crazy looking page foot of book images. Please higher someone to update your app comestically. With the IOS update people are discovering less is more with widgets and less apps. Try to use that same concept, I want to see recommendations make it the last tab not the first. Have the first tab be the library and instead of a line chart of books maybe give the option of line display or chart display, just something more sleek please. Update 03 May 2021: The app skips the audio for some reason and when the screen goes dark it stops playing. Please fix this. This is pretty frustrating and my settings don’t have anything that causes this to happen.

Vivid Beach Settings and Authentic Characters Learn to Find Happiness. It took a little more than usual for me to get into the book; at first,It started off feeling too much like a cliché, but that changed after the first few chapters. After reading the book, it almost feels like that was the author’s intention to provide a stark contrast for the character development throughout the book or possibly the author became a better writer once she fully built her world. I really enjoyed the vivid setting descriptions of the “Pond” and the city(really all of the settings were wonderfully sketched through words in the reader’s mind), the characters felt so authentic that I was sad when the story ended, and the structure was also essential to the plot: going between the past and present at various stages, but also within one day at the beach house in the present. It could get a little confusing at times, but this made me pay attention more so I didn’t mind. There were times when I was so angry at the main character, and mother(s), that I literally yelled at her (them)through my phone. It was never the main character’s fault, but she made so many poor, weak choices at times. It reminded me of the human flaws and regrets we all have or carry.

Deeply moving however. There are parts where you can’t help but cringe at the “first” world problems that the Duke and Duchess experience as well as the fact that so many people in their circle who come to the rescue, live lives so far removed from your average citizen. I do feel the desperation for “normalcy” and I hear the tragic story of a damaged, broken family unable to connect emotionally to each other because doing so means admitting that their lives as they know it, are ruled by others only looking out for themselves not the family or the Monarchy for that matter. However, I also think this story shows how everyone involved has not taken responsibility for their own roles, choices or lack of education on the system that rules them. Harry should have known better, there is no way Megan didn’t know about his family, or why she shouldn’t take a picture in front of the Taj Mahal for example, I mean everyone has seen that famous picture, especially people of Megan’s age living in California during the 90s. I think if anything, I hope it’s cathartic for them and helps them move on. Everyone deserves safety and security and to make their own way. I wish them the best.

Don’t fix what worked!. I don’t know why they decided to change the app, but they did. Before, the library section (which is the content I have via the app) was pretty well organized and could be perfectly navigated between what was actually on my device and what wasn’t. Now it’s a mess of a screen with huge empty margins taking most of the space (a recent addition to mobile development that I don’t understand because I though the point was to USE the space as effectively as possible) and the scrolling is WAY to floaty (I only have to barely have to have my finger on the screen and it’ll move) Now, honestly Audible is a little to expensive of a subscription service for my taste. They only give you 1 credit at a time and STILL treat their service more like a rental than actual ownership (so I don’t know why they don’t move to a “unlimited” model subscription and stop acting like their credits actually mean anything) I already had bad experiences with the service in the past with the service, but decided to try to give it another shot. I don’t think I’ll give them anymore past this. The quality of the app is quickly going downhill (besides what I already mentioned above I also keep getting warning messages about being on a slow connection when my internet is just fine) and there are now MUCH more better services around that handle audiobooks better than they do.

Ever worsening audiobook app. As you a see from my previous review, this used to be a great app. Lately, it has lost it’s ability to track where it is. Not only across devices, but on a single device.[I listen to a lot of audiobooks. For straightforward listening, this app is perfect. It is when you get into details like the sleep timer, that more thought could have been given. The screen that comes up after you have been in sleep mode is dark — but if you want to extend the sleep timer it goes to a bright white screen. It would be nice to stealthily extend the time without waking others. There are a few other things I wouldn’t mind having like better syching between devices, especially on things that have been played previously. And maybe a counter so I could see how many times a book has been played. But those are just wishes. I took off a star for the extend sleep mode screen.] This app keeps getting worse. It no longer knows the next book in a series. For awhile there was a shake to reset timer feature that was great. But they evidently removed it. It still is bad at synching between devices. I can hardly believe that my first review a few years ago called it almost perfect.

When you hear truth, believe it. Highly suggest that you read The Way of Integrity. When heartbreak finds me most vulnerable I usually turn to Dante and reread his epic masterpiece The Divine Comedy. There is kinship in that journey for me. I am no great Dante scholar, but I was given the book when I was young to help deal with the loss of a great love and his journey has served me since. I scoured the many books that my friends have suggested in order to deal with a recent bout of nostalgic longing, maybe trying to convince myself that Dante was the best option once again, but eventually came across The Way of Integrity while eavesdropping on a conversation in a coffee shop. Listening to the sample and the reference to Dante gave me the motivation to take a flyer and make the purchase. Having just concluded this book I can honestly say that I intend to make it a part of my life going forward. The way Martha Beck understands Dante is so familiar to me, and her insights are honest, concise, and often perspectives that I had not before considered. I plan to attempt her many challenges and test my own integrity. We do not know when our souls guides will find us along the road, she is right about that.

Have No Fear. After listening to this audible with Joyce Meyer it made me understand my fears I have with calling my clients. Listening to scripture made me do it anyways- the Lord is on my side. I have been listening to Joyce’s sermons for over a decade and have purchased some of her books. “Do it afraid ,” is by far my favorite audible I will buy this book to keep on my shelves for reference. Being in sales can be challenging when you get a lot of “No’s by people over the phone, would make me want to quit! But listening daily to Joyce about other normal everyday people with their fears and overcoming them with the help of my Lord Jesus opens my eyes, to see how little my fears are. I would say to myself- just call the first 10 people - then it would be 20 people, then 50 - after my calls were made and I completed the task with the help of the Lord Jesus it would not be as bad as I thought. I would say a little prayer~ Thank you Lord that you are always here by my side helping me build my business and to keep my accountable in my daily tasks- in Jesus name Amen. Thank you Joyce Meyer for writing this book, and teaching me the scriptures in the Bible to help me daily do it Afraid but Not afraid anymore 🙏🏼 . Lillian from Los Angeles

Thank you. I am the youngest of 4 children 2 of which have schizophrenia. The third I cannot confirm because she is estranged and does not share her diagnosis only to say if she had not had the years of therapy she had she would have been just like our brother. The irony is that she does not see how sick she is. At times I had to stop listening to the book to digest what I had heard and to shed a few tears to work through my own grief. I so relate to Lindsey Galvin in so many ways. The main difference is my siblings weren’t diagnosed until they were much older because they were not as severely symptomatic. All of this came to a head at my mothers passing in 2010. Then I truly learned how co dependent our family was. Some of us are healing the others I pray for. Reading this book made me feel that I was alone or the only one in this situation. I am truly grateful for all those who have research and continue to research on behalf of the ones that can’t. I am also relieved to know that the likelihood of my son and his children of having schizophrenia is very low. I have so much more insight into this condition now. I am now more curious than ever to learn of any new developments in treatment.

Bring back option to hide finished titles, for 5 Stars.. I’ve been an audible member for about 20 years ( whenever the service started). I have well over 1000 titles in my library (most purchase, prior to new system, with free titles). I occasionally listen to portions of one book, before switching over to another (especially, when a desired preorder becomes available). Previously, it was easy to locate books that I needed to return to, by hiding all finished titles. Since the new system was unveiled, this has been reversed. I don’t quite understand the utility of being able to see all titles in your library that you have already completed. Showing titles that you haven’t started is if some use, but it fails to show anything that even has a few seconds played. So if I accidentally tap on the wrong title and get past “This is Audible”, prior to going back and selecting the title I actually want, it will no longer show up as not started. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING!!! Please fix this for your most loyal members!!! A secondary improvement would be to extend the Apple Watch Complication, so that it will permit control / book selection of titles on your paired iPhone, rather than having to download the book to your watch.

Good, but.... My biggest problem with the app is that it tends to have a lot of half-finished features. For example: You can create collections of books, but the method to add books can be cumbersome, and there is no way to sort them, as to order a series. There is a “continuous listening” feature that allows you to stream multiple books in a row, but the books being streamed are random; you can’t select which book will come next, nor can you do this with books you’ve downloaded—they’re randomly selected from the Premium Library. You would think that collections could be similar to playlists and be put through continuous listening, but that isn't an option. More, the time I, personally, would find continuous play useful is while driving. But I won't stream gigabytes of data while on the road. I download books from a wifi spot and listen to what I have stored. Even if streaming were not more expensive than I’m willing to pay, my work takes me to rural areas where streaming is infeasible. This is one feature or two, depending on how you count it, that seems to be a brilliant tool, but isn't quite right. It's a shovel with three handles.

You Owe You. This was an easy book to read along/ listen to. Dr. Thomas’ intentional use of simple language makes the principles highlighted in his book accessible to a wide range of readers. This made me feel inspired to examine my own core values and create a plan for myself and my family to create the life we deserve to have. you owe you is a gift to the global community, for anyone who is looking for meaning and purpose in their life. It is an honest reflection on what I’m sure was a difficult journey to self discovery, and legacy building. When you are going somewhere it is much easier to navigate when you have a clear sense of direction. But when you are the first in your family to accomplish so much the only direction you have is your faith and your companions along the journey. You Owe You provides that clear sense of direction to cut down the time it would take someone to reach the destination of purpose. By following the principles outlined in this book and applying them to your own life you will receive the fulfillment of clarity of purpose and self mastery. Enjoy the read and your own journey to answering the question what do You owe YOU?

EDIT one of my most used apps.. EDIT: Thanks so much for the response, team. I updated the app and am so relieved. I can’t tell you how much I was missing listening to my books. So happy it was just a bug! Definitely giving the app 5 stars overall! I LOVE my audiobooks. Audible was one of my very top used apps, as I have a hard time focusing on tasks around the house/work/etc without some sort of sensory input. I have it running almost all the time. The last update ruined the whole app for me. I live way out in the middle of nowhere with no wifi and only the most tenuous connection to the data network. Suddenly, after updating the app, it won’t play any of my DOWNLOADED titles without an internet connection. What the heck is the point of taking up my phone storage space downloading all these books, if I now can’t even play them from my phone?? I am so disappointed, as I can’t listen to any of my favorite books at home anymore because I can’t find a place to connect enough to start the chapter. I know I’m just one random human to a huge corporation, but please, please, please, fix this. I am already missing my books acutely. It’s so disappointing to not be able to play my selection of downloaded books.

Better and better- not perfect. This app gets better and better but it isn't perfect. The app has great features and a few clunky ones. More good ones than it used to have. They are being improved over time. All in all, I'm happy with my experience. I can return books I didn't like if they are returned within 6 months. I don't read (listen to) them that quickly. I buy faster than I listen to them. Some times I finish them and the "finished" indication doesn't stay associated with the book through app revisions. Not Cool! The stories included in the titles are often well done but some presentations need serious rework - not many - but the choice for presenter could sometimes be improved. I've listened to a couple dozen different presenters by now ( a couple hundred books ). If those that were "flat" could be trained or replaced with more skilled people a lot of the stories would be better but, sometimes the story is the problem and that is a shame. It becomes easier to tell the difference between problems in story and presentation as you hear more of each. The short samples offered before you buy are most helpful ( at least to me ) only after my ear has become trained by listening to a goodly number of books by many presenters.

Her life was saved by Rock and Roll. Cincinnati Ohio-where I grew up In the 50’s was like an over stuffed chair, inviting thoughts of comfort but quickly becoming carnivorous, a Venus fly trap for the soul. Across the river in Newport Ky, there were “sepia” record stores, where we could listen to “colored” vocalists and groups ,nightclubs where we, as under age kids, could just walk in and hear the likes of Chuck Berry. I was smitten. This was hope personified. Rock and Roll gave joy and connection, a perfect lens. Turning on that tan Philco radio in our kitchen as I rolled in for breakfast was a daily necessity to turn the day into a rainbow. Jann Wenner perfectly captures his Rolling Stone magazine and the culture it shaped. One could enjoy it strictly from that perspective. Of course he is a great writer. For those of us who read every single issue from start to finish though it is so much more. One could say the book is a memoir but it is a cultural bible of the times. I loved listening to every word. It is a beautifully told chronicle of a few magical decades. It is only Rock and Roll but I like it. Thank you Jann Wenner for sharing. It means more than I can say. You will never be finished ax long as you are breathing,

Can’t wait to get my hands on her next!. This was one of those books that you not only savor, but you swap between physical and audio because you can’t get enough. The setting was perfect, the characters were hilarious, and the depth was just right. You follow Marin as she takes on a role she never thought she would be in.. PR and media manager for a rock band. But she not only crushes the position, she gains a crush on a band member. You follow along with the band and crew as they make their way all over the country on tour. You see them banter, you see them prank and you see them fall in love.. or lust. I usually have something to knit pick about whether it’s lack of charter build or creating an atmosphere you feel a part of, but Lisa did nothing for me to knit pick. This world was so well thought out, I can’t wait to dive into every single book I have of hers and also... I really need a prequel to see how Craig and Phoebe started. The only reason I gave this book a 4 rather then a solid 5 was I had a bit of a rough time with the big problem and how quickly it seemed to be resolved, I wish it would have been a little longer and we got to see more effort and what happened to.. patch things up on all accounts. I’m a girl who doesn’t trust easily and loses trust quickly so I have a hard with any story that someone’s forgiven too quickly.

Disappointed with App Change. I’ve been an avid member for I’m thinking at least a decade and I just discovered that you have removed all my reading statistics and levels of accomplishment in the app. Naturally I won’t quit but I loved that aspect of the app and it gave me a continued sense of achievement and accomplishment. Please return this feature it means so much to me or show or tell me where you moved it to. Thanks for listening. I have now discovered that my review above is not exactly correct the statistics are still there. However, because I had two accounts, recently consolidated into one the one I have remaining shows me as having achieved scholar while in fact I have long since passed Master level. That bothers me greatly. May seem a small issue to but not I. Also, what’s the level above Master as when your records are updated I will surpass that easily. Even if you don’t make the update I will still obliterate Master level and there must be others. Anyway once I hear from you I will update to 5 stars. Finally, I wish you would find a way where I can find and purchase books inside the App if apple don’t like it so what, just buy them out and make a better policy.

Born of Earth. By A L. Knorr It was almost a year ago that I read this book, so when I found the opportunity to listen to it on Audible, I jumped at it. I am so glad that I did! With AL Knorr about ready to publish sequels to this book, it was an ideal time to review/listen to it. I have never reread any book as I always then knew what had happened. Life is short and books are many, but as I have aged, l remember only the basics of the story. As I listened to Born of Earth, the vivid writing came to life as if watching a movie and I was in Ireland with Georgie. I was there ten years ago, so pictures were brilliant in my mind of the land and people . i was amazed at how little I remembered of the details which brought the story to life. Listening to the reader was reminiscent of listening to radio stories in my childhood where imagination was able to “see” what was happening. So, I loved every minute of the book as if I had never read it. As Georgie grew to see the Fey and become a Wise, I wished to see Ley lines, and fairy buds, to hear the plants telling of what they can cure, and to sink feet into the earth. To read a story by A L Knorr is to enjoy a well-written book with strong characters, a great plot and a new experience unlike any other. But to listen to that same story is to experience it.

I was at my wits end with how to change my life. I literally was crying the other day from frustration at the knowledge that I create my own reality but did not know HOW. So there I was on the floor of my kitchen bawling my eyes out and suddenly I had a sense of peace come over me. A couple of days later, I searched in Audible the terms magic money manifesting and this book popped up. I honestly didn’t have much hope for it, because it seems like all of these books that claim to give a person techniques just re-hash the same old stuff. This author didn’t do that. He gives practical how to methods that explain different perspectives and details on how to REALLY harness your inner power and apply it to your life. I feel empowered. I took notes this book was so informational, I’m going to listen to it again! Don’t hesitate to get this book! It really will change your life. You can tell that the author spoke from the heart and put a lot of inspired work into this. Sitting on that floor I begged God to help show me how to use the power I know he gave us all to manifest a better life for me. And this book stood out to me. So that’s how I know it is special and must have been inspired. Prosperity and Goodness to you all!

Everyone should love books. I love the Audible app because it allows me to enjoy a good book even while driving or other activities that prevent reading a book while doing them. RIF was a program I loved in school, many of my classmates would have me pick out books and they would get them and give them to me because they didn't like reading and knew I loved to do so. At the time I was happy to get more books to enjoy though looking back I wish I had tried harder to share my love of reading with my classmates. My one real gripe is regarding two issues related to playback, the volume max can vary quite a bit from one narrator to another I presume due to production methods or settings so I would appreciate an ability to make the volume louder than currently possible especially when using the built in speaker on a mobile device. The second issue is that when listening to a book in the background and playing any of a number of games that sadly force you to watch ads occasionally to play for free it can sometimes fail to allow restarting the narration after the ads and rather default to any random music file you have on the device.

Some issues but overall worth the price. I love audible, it’s easily my favorite app and really the only reason I use my phone for anything other than communication. The price is more than reasonable, for $15 you get access to a lot of really solid books, plus a credit to use on any book you want, no matter the price. Depending on their age and popularity, some books can be upwards of $30 by themselves, so that’s a pretty sweet deal. Credits carry over and, as long as you keep your membership, they will not expire (if you cancel, be sure to use any left over credits before you do). My only advice is to check the book’s price before you use a credit on it. As I said before, a credit is good for any price book, but that also goes for inexpensive books. They don’t make it easy to see the actual cost, I have to use my phone’s browser because they don’t show you within the app, but there have been books I want that are only $2-3, which would be a total waste of a credit, so I just buy them with my credit card. The only con for me would be (as of December 2022, at least) is the poor compatibility with iOS, you can’t use Siri for any commands other than rewind/play/pause/forward. Since I listen with my AirPods most of the time, it would be nice, but I guess I understand with the whole Alexa vs. Siri war.

Opposites attract. Flirting with Forever is Book four in the Dirty Martini Running Club series. This is Nora’s happily ever after and although this is the fourth book in the series, I totally feel that this could be read as a standalone. This is an opposites attract and single dad trope. Nora is everything that I love in a heroine; she is strong, independent and fierce! She has made her own family with her friends and would absolutely do anything for them. She has just purchased her very first home and our hero, Dex, and his daughter live next-door. The first relationship that I fell in love with in this book was between Nora and Riley, who is the daughter of our hero. Every little girl should have a Nora in their life! Nora became a confidant and good friend, with wonderful advice for Riley. As for our hero, I love that Nora thought that she could flirt her way into Dex’s life and keep things casual but Dex turned her advances away because he didn’t want it to affect Riley. When these two finally came together it was magic! I loved everything about this book especially the Easter eggs and the Husband Gang! The author outdid herself once again! The audiobook was fantastic! Stephen Dexter and Vanessa Edwin brought Nora and Dex to life and it was total perfection!

Loses my place. I love listening to books and have been enjoying that there are so many available on audibles. I keep encountering problems though...I prefer to listen at 1.25 speed and it reverts back to 1.0 with every pause. I’ve learned I must bookmark frequently because I will undoubtedly be at the beginning of a book no matter where it left off (it divides books into fours and each of the 4 has chapters 1-11 or so, so book 2 has chapters 1-11 too instead of 12-21 making it close to impossible to figure out where you are...at minimum very time consuming.) and have to listen to recognize whether or not I’ve been there yet. Also, I’ve learned to listen to what chapter the narrator names just so I will be able to find my soon to be lost place in the event that the bookmark too fails. The version of the app that comes up on my iPhone quickly doesn’t have bookmarks, so I have to hit the home button, find the actual app and only there can I reset the speed and set the bookmark or retrieve a bookmark. I find the most frustrating thing is that it keeps returning to the beginning of the “book” I was in instead of the place in the chapter.

If you’re serious about building a real estate business, then add this title to your required text.. I had very mixed feelings about my expectations when I saw this book. Not because I didn’t trust the author’s real estate journey or chops, but because similar information is usually lock up into the “guru’s” branded classes. Much like real estate, am I going to drop $25k to $30k on the slickest marking machine or am I going spend less than $25 dollars on the exact same information from this wonderful book and investing the balance of that $25k into my first deal? I’m not joking, the keys to the real estate kingdom are laid bare in the context of the book. At the very least this book needs to be required reading and a frequently referenced resource in your library. Although it’s written for newer real estate investors, it peels back the blankets on more advanced concepts such as consideration for syndicates, location-location-location, and dealing with real-life landlord/tenant relations. For whatever my opinion is worth, this book is a must have and the secret to form a real estate business strategy and tactically getting after it is less than an 8 hours listen and gives you the foundation for generational wealth.

It Was An Ugly Couch Anyway. Listening to this book via Audible was a ***** experience for many reasons. It is July 18, 2023, and my Book Club will meet for lunch today to discuss the content. My annual visit for an eye exam is in August 2023, so I accessed the book from my Audible account knowing that my reading glasses will be changed after my appointment. I didn’t want to miss the July deadline because of eye strain headaches. I was thrilled first to learn that the narrator would be the author of It Was An Ugly Couch Anyway. I was anxious to read and listen because I worked with the author’s mom before she retired. I admired and respected Libba as an educator before I read about her as a character in a book. She IS a positive, upbeat, amazing individual. She shared amazing details about her family, so I felt so comfortable sharing my family details with her. It is fun to share details from the long distance family experiences. I am planning a reread using my print version of the book after I get my new glasses! The most amazing part made possible by the recorded version is the interview with one of the main characters. Elizabeth is an amazing author, narrator, etc.

Incredibly helpful and easy to use ap!. I am so impressed with this ap! I had caved on one of the ads for this ap on fb and saw that they had a free trial with two free books so I decided to try it. I listened to part of one book and then haven’t had much time to listen since and actually kinda forgot about it. I received an e mail today from audible which reminded me I needed to cancel my trial before being charged bc I wasn’t ready to pay the monthly subscription just yet and unlike most apps I found the customer service for this company was incredible! Right under settings in the ap lists a phone number and easy access to ur subscription information. I called the number to find out where I was in my trial and was impressed with how quickly they answered and told me I still had a few weeks left and she could cancel it now or I could enjoy the rest of it and call back to cancel the day before. She also returned the book I originally ordered bc I wasn’t that into it and now I have my two free book credits left! I highly recommend this ap to anyone bc of its easy to use settings, outstanding customer support, and wide section of books available! Great Job audible!

Audible Books. I’ve been a member on/off for many years. You pay a monthly/annual fee and get credits based on your subscription. The fee you pay is often less than the price of most audiobooks. You can pay for the book or use a credit. There are lots of reviews, some are fake but most seem to be genuine. I like that you can hear a 3-5 minute sample before purchasing. I have gotten credits refunded for books I was unhappy with, (books I didn't listen to completely). Customer service has been great. I had to discontinue membership for a while and lost nothing during the time I canceled my membership. I kept the credits I already had and all of the books I had in my library. Starting my membership again was easy. I do wish that reviewers would add ore detail instead of simply saying ”I like the book”. That’s not a review. Why do you like/dislike the book? Was it clean, full of profanity, sex, violence? Was this book fit for the whole family? Did the story flow, was the narrator easy to listen to; did they have an annoying voice, were the characters voices distinguishable? That’s a review! A review is meant to help other customers decide if they want to purchase the book or not.

Rising out of hatred. An amazing account of personal transformation. I too grew up with a racist father, surrounded by all of the rhetoric in this community. Awful. I love the courage it took for Roland-Derek to challenge his indoctrination and to find the strength to cut ties with beloved community, even family. That is the hardest part. For real. He said there is guilt in the interviews I’ve seen of his regarding what he helped create. Well, that was happening anyway. The good he has created through his total honesty, vulnerability and accountability - and willingness to speak publicly about it - stands taller and provides more light than any darkness the white nationalist... movement could ever create. He is a light bearer, and it is especially powerful and illuminating BECAUSE of his history. Roland-Derek provides an example of someone to challenge and think for himself within a fear-based, constraining movement. My hat is forever off to this gentleman, a man of TRUE wisdom and bravery while surviving the very human heartbreak of leaving a beloved community that no longer serves. He and Alison are putting their lives on the line by speaking out. I am grateful to Eli for penning this book, and all the others willing to allow their names into this story. Your courage and truth DEEPLY inspires me.

Great Service at a premium price. Audible works great, I can find great titles, get samples of the voices, and I even get a free credit with the higher tier subscription with a few more “premium” titles. The issue for audible is turning the everyday subscriber into a customer; like myself. I pay $10 and watch hundreds of movies and tv shows that last a few hours to hundreds of hours depending on the title. The budgets are bigger, the price for the customer is lower. I pay $10 and listen to thousands of songs, many just a few minutes, some can be hours. I also enjoy podcasts... for no additional fee. Now we get to Audible where I pay $12, more than the others, and get 1 pick and like at an old movie store I become limited and find it difficult to choose the only free title I’ll get because the rest you have to pay for. I loved the audio books, but I’ll never stay a subscriber when I have other content for cheaper and without a secondary pay wall. I listened to a single book in a week, so that’s 4 books a month on average. Since only 1 is free, I could be paying $30, $50, $100 more for the other titles. I signed up with a free trial, stayed for a month after, but will sadly cancel after as they haven’t nailed down a way to monetize in a way that I can have access to hundreds of premium free titles for a low monthly cost.

Newest Watch update good and bad. The most recent update for Apple Watch was at first very exciting until I realized that to find the book I wanted to listen to I had to scroll through EVERY BOOK I OWN ALPHABETICALLY 🤨🤨🤨. I have over 1000 books and trying to scroll down all the way to the R or T titles takes forever. They only have three options to sort recent, title, downloaded. These can be useful but there should be a way to sort based on what is downloaded on the iPhone app. It would also be very useful to have the current listen on iPhone to be at the top of any list so you can easily download it to your watch. I am very very pleased to no longer have to rely of my phone to download books to watch. The app on my phone is great I saw some reviews that don’t like the home page with recommendations and such I personally think it’s great it points me to books I may not come across otherwise and the next in your series list it really useful. I wish I could give this a full five+ stars but there needs to have some refinement and additional options in browsing- but please don’t take away from what you have done for the way you downloaded books and the other items in the updates!!!

If you’re a Business owner, you need to read this book, especially if you existed pre-COVID. If you’re a Business owner, you need to read this book, especially if you existed pre-COVID and trying to get back on track, it gives you incentive and advice on how to get back on “hustle” mode to get back to where you used to be at minimum, the maximum depends on your desired success level... I’m going to the top. It made me realize I was slacking in some areas and put my brain on think mode to not only hustle harder but yes smarter (great title by the way). Im not a hard cover fan but decided to order the physical book anyway (the soft cover isn’t scheduled to be released until late September and that’s too long to wait,I’m ready now) as I’m a physical reader and need the book to take notes which I’ve book marked throughout. I purchased it 3 days ago and have listened to it twice already (thank God for Airpods😆) and plan on listening to it again, this time making notecards... you catch something different every time. I’m not sure which one to thank, Curtis Jackson or 50 cent🤷🏽‍♀️... How about I thank him as a whole ☺️.

Best app I have, but can’t transfer from my iPhone or iPad to my Watch. I’ve been an Audible member for over 15 years (well before being merged w/Amazon). It’s my favorite App and I use it more than any other. I have ADHD and LOVE to read but get stuck trying to read traditional books and retain the story or information. With Audible I’ve averaged almost 5 books per month with each book’s average length of about 11hrs. Here’s the big “but”. I have Audible Apps on my iPhones, iPads and MacBook but it won’t relay to either of my two watches. I get unnecessary Apps like JetBlue but no Audible. If anyone knows what I can do to fix this I would be grateful. Being able to listen to Audiobooks without my iPhone nearby would be incredibly useful but I just cannot figure out why it won’t show up on my list of Apps on my Watches. Despite my Watch problem I give this App my highest recommendation. This goes especially for my brothers and sisters that suffer from ADHD, impaired vision or other maladies that makes tradition reading difficult or impossible. It’s an awesome subscription service and App especially if you’re more successful than me in getting it on your Apple Watch.

I know what your doing The series by Zane Michaelson. Wow what can I say, this was my first Audio book to listen to. I wasn’t sure if it would do the book justice, but it totally did. Jack Nobles voice had me mesmerized, I felt like I was a part of the story. This series is one of my favorite ever, it totally shattered and devastated me in parts, I cried and felt angry and anxious in other parts but overall I couldn’t switch it off. Jenna is one of the most forgiving and strongest Women I know, the lengths she went too, to fight for her Marriage and Family, was admirable. The love that both Zane and Jenna have for each other has survived a very devastating time in there lives, I wish them love and happiness always, because they both deserve there HEA.

Game changer for parents of young children who miss reading!. A huge, and long-standing user of Audible. I used to love reading, turning pages in silence and becoming engrossed in whatever I was reading. Since having a child my reading time has become far more sporadic and often subject to endless interruptions. So I adapted. I listed to wonderful books while I drive around, do the shopping or while cooking. This app is easy to use, reliable and allows me to listen to the same book on several devices. I even have the choice to re-read from a different spot on my iPhone without losing my current place on the iPad if I feel like refreshing a different chapter. I wish all books were automatically created as Audible options. I highly recommend the monthly subscription option. It helps to remind me to keep reading and to make time for at least one new book a month. Great way to make time for yourself again.

A relatable life story. Selma Blair, you have such a relatable story to so many women of my generation and (I’m sure) for every generation before and to follow. I saw myself in you in so many ways… childhood innocence, navigating teenagerdom, the vulnerabilty, relationships and all the lessons that come with it all. Highlighting to us all that we never stop learning and relearning throughout our lives. As an actor who has grown up parallel to me, I never realised that you were actually growing up in front us all, experiencing such similar anxieties, anguishes and adversities that we all face. You have emerged like a butterfly with such grace and composure… The message I have taken away from your story is to keep going and keep growing and learning, despite what is thrown at us in this crazy old world. The best part about listening to your story on Audible is that YOU told the story to me… straight from the horses mouth. With all of the raw emotion, laughter and tears. Thank you, and please keep writing… it really is your true calling. 🙏❤️

Two stars seems fair. The biggest issue I had with Audible was when I decided I wanted to cancel my membership, following their instructions, I ended up on their website in which it would just put my in a loop if I answered and followed the instructions accordingly. I spent over an hour reading nonsense that wasn’t applicable to my situation trying to figure out how to do cancel the membership. Calling them wasn’t an option available, and after far to much effort was exerted, I found a page where at the very bottom it said I could NOT cancel my membership if I was using a mobile device. Myyy GOD, really?! While using a computer (instead of an iPad) it was still just as annoying to navigate the website. The membership and actual usage system is very confusing and means you need to pay for each book you want to read so the point of having a membership system almost seems like a complete scam. The membership costs what most of the books cost to listen to, and the membership grants you one token to use on one book to listen to it for free, so ONCE a month you get access to a “free” audio book that costs as much as buying access to any other audio book. I would NEVER recommend this service to a friend/family member. Not even my worst enemy. Finally, on a positive note, after you purchase a book, you will have access to it forever, even when your membership is cancelled

Love audible but. No in app purchase! No category/genre filter.. I want a one-stop shop app but... 1. hate that I can listen to a sample but can’t download from the app. My kindle lets me buy a book in the app - just want the same from audible. Including displaying the price i will pay in my country- not $US as currently occurs. 2. Sometimes I want to listen to specific genre in my purchased library like crime or sci-fi. I can’t filter/display by category/genre, only by recent/author/title. Please add this function to improve usability. 3. Hate that I can’t get entire series due to publishing rights, especially when it is the earlier eg 1st or 2nd in the series! 4. Once in a book it is great! Love bookmarking & sleep timer. Audio is excellent too.

Design this app for humans!!!. The app is pretty bad right now! I’m frustrated and annoyed that I have less accessibility since I updated, 15 mins ago. Navigating to an author I like is not possible from a book page or my library, I have to go type the name in search now. I can’t see my credits anywhere, I think I have 2, but I can’t tell by looking anywhere and the help page seems to be for a previous version of the app as it references non existent buttons. I can’t tell if the book I’m looking at is part of a series, book 1, or book 10? I have dabbled in app design in uni, by no means an expert, but it looks like audible is taking a nose dive in user design by oversimplify to the point of being too difficult to search for a new book to listen to. Why would you give people less navigation and access to information?

Great but some tweaks required. 1) Need an option to stop seeing certain books. I will never buy a book from Michelle Obama, Will Smith, or Prince Harry so please give me an option to say not interested and for these to no longer be displayed. 2) Daily deals are great and I have bought a bunch however they are more often than not completely irrelevant. Given the large number of books on Audible there are bound to be more customised options available 3) I am often interested in series which are very old like Clive Cusslers Dirk Pitt, Wilbur Smith’s Courtney’s, Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’s. All of these titles cost the same as a new book even though many are decades old and no longer on the best sellers list. I, and many others, would be tempted to buy whole series at a discount or buy one at full price and the rest 50% off, or 2 for a credit. 4) Last but not least. I am not one bit interested in LGBT or Australian Aboriginal literature. Many of my favourite books have characters or content which deals with these however it is not front and centre. How Audible pushes books with a pure focus on this content on their clients I find frustrating and reprehensible. Your role is to provide compelling content to all of your clients not force fringe content, relevant to a few, on everyone in an transparent effort to appear progressive and righteous.

Essential reading. A great book that really gets to the heart of healing. It uses bio psychosocial lens to focus on why we and society are who we are and suffer as we do. The book also shows a path forward for healing. The style is very similar to other North American books on similar topics. The lens the narrative is told is also very North American. As an Australian, it doesn’t resonate as well as writers from my own culture, but I am familiar enough with American writing that it isn’t a problem. But the bio psychosocial focus is where all development and healing should be discussed and where the field is heading therefore I appreciate and recommend this book. It is sensitive and doesn’t blame anyone or lend itself to the reader blaming others. Just a minor issue with the narration, the assuming an accent or speaking style for quotes in the text is distracting and sounds silly. I can sense the intention, but I didn’t like it.

One minute out?. Ok I may have missed it but I didn’t get the title. Normally it’s it’s pretty strait forward in Mark Greaney novels. If your a fan of the series you’ll likely be irritated by the first person dialogue for at least the first few chapters. Eventually, if you’re anything like me you will slowly grow to appreciate the first person style. Not the best and not the worst of the series by any stretch. What I like liked about this one is that Gentry was flying solo throughout most of the mission, much like the first few in the series. This seems to allow for more daring and/ or desperate missions like the one that originally drew us in to the series. A good read for sure, just have some patience with the change in writing style in the beginning or you’ll miss out on something very good.

Tuesday with Maurie. I really enjoy to listening to this and I have read the book and I am not really a person that reads so the aublile books and podcasts are really good for me l have listened to several autobiography and enjoy them some better than others and I always seem to have a break from them and then I go back to them that is just a personal thing listening to Tuesday with Maurie and I watch the film was something a friend got she was only in forties it’s a horrible disease and watching some one go through it is hard to watch how it effects them I found I could relate with some of the ways as it was just like the things my friend went through let’s hope some day a will find a way that it will prolong a person’s life as I don’t know if they will ever find a cure well not in my life time but once upon a time you rarely heard of it but now you see more people with it and I can relate when I see them as I watched my friend fight the disease and eventually losing the battle with it

Great and insightfully. I’ve been looking for works of following one’s own self and own instructions as well as improving my ability to love myself with money. I dream about money consciousness being something new in the world in hearing the book This book gave me aot of things to consider and work with and a blessing to my ears and being. We need more books like this a new future and connection in the world to more conscious aware business owners and entrepreneurs or just living in harmony with money. Through this process I feel it was touching on more than money it was a cross all areas of my life . Great read in trusting one’s own knowing and working with the beings of wealth consciousness

A must read. What a courageous woman is Misty Griffin. She tells her gut wrenching story of how she, against all odds, finally mustered the courage to blow the lid on the Amish. From the outside world the Amish are a deeply religious people, cut off from the outside world as they supposedly live out their communal lives in idyllic settings of peacefulness. From a life of torture, Misty blows the lid off the Amish to expose the true horror and culture that lies within. She tells of child sexual abuse that is rife among the families who are brainwashed into believing that if they go to the police they will be forever dammed to hell. They believe they are above the law because Police are generally reluctant to get involved, unable to accept the truth, even when a girl attempts to make a report . One of the best books I’ve listened to on Audible.

Thoroughly enjoyable. I’d never read any of the Sherlock Holmes stories having never really been interested in older crime solving stories. I tend more towards supernatural or paranormal romance (with the occasional mystery or crime thrown in.) But I really enjoyed Stephen Fry narrating his own publications “Mythos” and “Heroes.” His voice is soothing, warm and entertaining. He does the different characters voices so well, you never mistake a character for another. He just seems to draw you into the story. I was surprised to find I thoroughly enjoyed the different mysteries solved by the famous detective. The thing I liked the most was the relationship between Sherlock and Dr Watson. You felt the genuine love, comradeship and mutual respect between them. The sincere sorrow that Watson felt when Sherlock “died” bought a tear to my eye. The only thing I would like to have seen in this particular anthology, is the stories in a more chronological order. No complaints otherwise.

Spare. My heart goes out to Prince Harry, Meghan and their children. I’ve tried to keep an open mind and not fall victim to the propaganda pushed by various outlets and instead read his story for myself. He has endured so much pain and false reporting throughout his young life and listening to him narrate his own story and the recent Interviews he’s done it’s obvious from the way he expresses himself that he’s has a deep empathy with so many but is deeply scared from his experiences from the press and lack of understanding from his family. To be the recipient of so much “hate” on social media is absolutely appalling and good to see that a huge percentage of people who have read his book, actually give positive reviews. For those who haven’t read his book then perhaps those people should keep their negative comments to themselves.

Love love love. I have read and reread “Yes Please” many times, but l loved listening to this audiobook so, so much. I highly recommend it to anyone, at literally any stage in their life (but, maybe 17+). As a twenty-something, this book is was an absolute gift. Hearing Amy’s story with such honesty, her humility and grace, positivity and compassion is something that cannot be compared and the lessons in these chapters are important and, for a young person, quite profound. I know that it’s the kind of book I can come back to in my 30s and 40s and still take away something important. And yes, I did listen to it in my car. But also on my way to work, on my way home from work, and whenever I needed to step away discreetly for a while. And honestly, there was no better way to spend my time than by getting a pep talk or dose of reality from Amy Poehler, in amy Poehler’s voice. I loved it. Thank you, Amy.

I love Audible. I love Audible! Listening to Audible books allows me the freedom to do all the boring things I do, while being entertained in the process. My jobs are made less onerous with the distraction of stories by the amazing storyteller’s writings of other people, worlds, places, & times. The reading of the books are brought to life through the wonderful voices of modern day bards. I was introduced to Audible by a friend many years ago who shared a book with me; that I had already read. The reader was so great that it brought a whole new dimension to the book for me; allowing me to sink into the story & deepen my imagining of the words of the writer. I have been hooked ever since. I invested in the monthly subscription straight away - it is the most user friendly & cost effective way to listen to Audible. I have never looked back!

Open book is just that! Completely open and raw!. Thank you Jessica for opening up your life, your struggles, your truths, fears, and greatest joys! You are truely inspiring. I lost my mother to alcoholism and wish she could have found a way out of the darkness. You gave me some insight into what she may have been going through. I believe she had a very toxic relationship with my step dad that started her drinking, with a very fast and sad progression. You are so very lucky to have such a beautiful husband and children and group of BFF’s and family to support and love you ! We all grow and change and cannot be expected to be the same people we were 20 years ago wanting the same things. I Take my hat off to your honesty and thank you for sharing with the world what a true light you really are!

Everyone must read this book. This book changed my life. Bessel gave me so much hope as a trauma sufferer also dealing with addiction and mental health issues. He shared a variety of proven and successful avenues for healing trauma outside of western medicine practices. The psychiatric industry has been failing us greatly and is keeping us sick and at risk. This book gives us agency by providing so many solution based approaches which are holistic and gentle on our bodies and minds. Rather than provide Band-Aid solutions which never deal with the issues at hand he provided insight into how to address the cause of our suffering by leaning in and provided strategic approaches to taking our healing into our own hands no matter where we are in our lives. This has lead me down a new healing journey after years of searching and has given me so much inspiration into new ways of. healing myself in more effective ways that promote growth rather than quash who I am with medications that don’t work.

Total Reset: Realigning with our timeless blueprint for living. This is a brilliantly researched and written book which clearly uncovers and explains the wisdom of the First People of Australia. Having lived and worked in the Kimberley for over 5 years spread across two decades I resonate with, and greatly appreciate the blueprint layed out for us in this book. I read the book last year and it shed great insight on my journey and the sharing of my story. Mark Coles-Smith’s reading of the book is so engaging and in character that it took me back to the days when I sat down under a Mango tree with the Traditional Custodians and listened to their stories. This book takes you on Country, wraps you in its magic and gifts you with timeless wisdom on how we can walk together to create a harmonious sustainable world when we realise we are all one! Updates delete current info. It's 3:30 am. Another nightmare wakes me. I reach for Audible on my iPad to distract my mind and help me find sleep. The usual library list is missing when I select 'cloud'. The two books I had going, one for sleep, the other for migraines gone from 'device'. The last thing I wanted to do was to have to wake up, rediscover the password, sign out of into my audible account so I could sign back in, refresh, and download both books again. If it were a migraine I'd woken with (and I do frequently) I wouldn't have a hope of seeing well enough let alone have the brain power to do what I've just done. Please, please, please, please, stop making signing in and out a condition of updating the app. I thought automating updates made life easier but it hasn't with Audible. That was March 2019. Of course, once I put the login details in it worked as usual. July 2019 and Audible app tries to open but shuts down almost immediately. Was there an update? Can't say it's a password issue since it's not open long enough. I don't how to live with out an Audible book in my daily life. :((

I’m all ears. I hope someone’s listening as well.. Everyone should give audiobooks a try. Audible has helped me enjoy and explore so many more titles and topics (now over 400 in my library) than those dusty, neglected titles stacked on my beside table. Along with a constantly updated and wide array of captivating and entertaining titles, it’s great to share the experience of so many of the great masterpieces of mankind. I appreciate that they are preserved in spoken word form for our future generations. Whilst the above is true I still feel compelled to hold a Star (or two) of hope that someone, who is proud to work at Audible, will take the lead in preserving and presenting some of the many, many fine works of the late great Mr James A Michener. It’s been great to listen to and savour other masterworks like War and Peace, Crime and Punishment, Great Expectations…It’s a very long list. Humanity should hold on to this timeless wisdom. Lest we forget. What is noticeable absent however are other classic titles like Centennial or The Source or Alaska? Like earning the Audible trophy’s within the app and I’m sure the team at Audible like earning rating Stars for this app. Audible will earn another two stars (from me) when they publish some of the works of the mighty Mr Michener. I’m all ears. I hope someone’s listening as well :)

Great learning resource and entertaining. I’ve used audible for about 3 years. In that time I have greatly expanded my knowledge base on a number of topics while doing menial tasks such as driving, tending to the yard and even while at work. With an extensive range of topics and multiple books on each, it’s easy to find something informative and interesting. I’ve never had a problem returning a book that I had not been satisfied with, even if I had listened to most or all of it. There is also nearly an endless selection of fiction books narrated by some excellent narrators. The way the narrators bring characters and situations to life is very impressive. (My favourite being R.C.Bray) If you haven’t listened to a story told by a good narrator before I’d highly recommend it. I’m very satisfied with audible, for the amount of education/entertainment I receive from an audiobook it’s very good value for money.

Interesting, emotional account of one man’s struggle through American Family Court system. I listened non-stop to the horrifying account. This explains the US system pretty well. Australia has 50/50 as a requirement or, the benchmark that mothers or fathers have to prove should be altered. This was an enlightening book and almost mirrored mine, except I’m female and my ex ended up losing. However it made me understand why I was treated so badly by police, child protection, courts. It is because so many people lie and use family violence as a tool to manipulate a better outcome for themselves from court, when real family violence exists, it takes a while for them to realise. The use of statistics was a little misleading … female violence is usually benign compared to male violence. When I hit my husband it was like a bit of rain buffeting a windshield. No impact and easily ignored. When my husband hit me I would fly across the room. Although it seems like this book comes across like a war on women, the real war on women comes from rich middle class women who throw around accusations of family violence to assist their court case. They are the hidden enemy. Wasting precious resources and ensuring true victims have more difficulty being believed. Them and their lawyers are a disgrace. The US legal system needs lots of work.

Abysmal app - sync to watch issue still not fixed.. Seriously? How long will it take to fix the issue of syncing audiobooks to the watch? It’s been years already! So much feedback has been provided on this, there are so many posts on online forums with users experiencing lengthy audiobook syncs that fail. Almost. All. The. Time. There’s no work around, no settings to change, the advice is the same copy paste response that has been handed out for years. “Ensure your app is the latest version” “remove and reinstall the app on both the phone and the watch” “ensure you are charging both devices at the time of transfer”… i follow these instructions and leave the transfer to take place over night to find that a book has taken the whole night to transfer 3%! This is a throwback to when you used to download a file using dial up speeds 30 years ago!!! Honestly, find a way to get this resolved ASAP, audible would have so many more customers if this wasn't an issue anymore.

LOVE IT!. I have been using audible for well over 10 years now...before there was an Australian site for it and have always enjoyed it. As an avid reader who was losing her sight, it allowed me some of the enjoyment I used to get from books. When the sync with kindle became available, I was so excited, I could make the font HUGE...and read til my eyes tired and then listen and go to and from. The ONE issue I have with sudible, is that when you buy a book from kindle, you can now get the audiobook for a few dollars. If, however, I use my credits, and want the kindle book, I have to pay full price for it. It makes my subscription a way of wasting rather than saving money because I ALWAYS want both. I don’t want to stop my subscription however I find myself accumulating credits because it’s just cheaper to buy the book and add the audiobook. Could the reversal be organised, so that when I use my credit, I can buy the kindle book for a few dollars? I have made this suggestions quite a few times through various means of contacting audible....and always told, it’s something that is being worked on.... I’d be so greatful when it happens. Thanks audible for many hours of listening.... Lisa

Awesome. Very good book was really easy to understand it, you see I had an encounter with the Lord in my dream back in 2020 December after reading the book “Spirit, Soul and Body” by Andrew Womack. and in that dream Lord Jesus appeared and made me encounter my very own new creation spirit It was like a treasure hidden inside of me it was awesome to see and experience my brand new self my new creation identity, so many revelations opened up in my mind as I was staring with excitement, joy and awe at my spirit and Jesus’ spirit. There was no difference between my new creation spirit and the Spirit of Christ then my mind aligned with my spirit and experienced the mind of Christ which I already had in my spirit which was soo amazing it’s exactly what this book means by destined to reign. It’s another level! Praise Jesus for that gift of righteousness that he died to give us, it’s a truly an amazing gift, and thank you pastor Prince for this book it’s truly amazing.

Enlightened. I found myself through many parts of this book, writing down quotes that really stood out to me. I don’t think I’ve read a book this long in years, but somehow bother the writer and reader make the story flow so easily, that even as I was coming to the end, felt as though I was only halfway through. At many points I felt enlightened by the range of perspectives from both Lori and her patients. All in all, I would recommend this book to even therapy skeptics, because it made me think, “Hey, everyone could benefit for some therapy.” Such a great book. Can’t believe how much I learnt through the anecdotes told throughout. I truly do feel enlightened after reading this these past couple of weeks.

Brave for sharing your side of the story. Thank you for sharing your story Harry, can’t imagine what life in this prison has been for you. It’s a personal story, a true insight into the institution. I can’t even begin to imagine what this weird life has been for you, for losing your beloved mother in the public eye without any help and support to process the trauma, but you have been brave enough to escape, even then you are still persecuted and judged for leaving it and telling your side, the true side. You did not choose this life, so how dare people scold you for being privileged and telling it. I loved listening to Spare, in Harry’s own voice, it’s a very personal account. Thank you thank you for being authenticate, we need more people like you!

Life on a Knife’s Edge. A refreshingly authentic, vulnerable and mind blowing raw account of one extraordinary man’s reality, as he practices the art of neurosurgery. The insights, lessons, growth and ultimately humbleness gained from the patient/professional connection, renews so much hope in humanity … in that we are mostly doing the best we can in any given moment based on what we know at the time. The author delivers a reflection of his journey in a way that takes you undeniably along for the ride. The good, the bad and the not so good. It has left me feeling more empowered to take even more responsibility for my brain health and to gain as much understanding as possible to assess risk versus benefits when deciding on treatment and management options. I truly enjoyed every chapter.

Must Read for all who seek. This is quite simply one of the best most confronting and horrific books I have ever read. I have averaged a book a fortnight for several years and this stands in the top few. If you are a fan of Napoleon Hill this will blow your mind. If you are not this will blow your mind. I have taken 100’s of pages of notes and doing all I can to implement the ideas in this book and it has changed my life on so many levels. Its horror lay in the truth that which I knew but could not explain. The greatness comes from intrinsic deep answers that come when you hear them and you will hear them. If you don’t then you are not human. This book is for anyone seeking greatness in themselves. It’s dialogue seems to be aimed at Men, but mums, wives and sisters and girlfriends would benefit greatly from this great book.

Loved it!. I am thoroughly enjoying this series 😄 This is the second book of the series so far and I am eager to read the rest of them! This is Mabel’s story, who we were introduced to briefly in the first book along with her other friends, who are also referenced in this one. We also get to read a bit more about Giulia Pepper and follow on with her story a little from the first one. Although this could be read as a stand-alone novel, it makes more sense to have read the previous one first. Kasey Stockton has a truly enjoyable style of writing and all of her stories are clean and wholesome with feel good endings 🥰 I am happy to recommend this book to anyone who enjoys clean regency romance novels. I received an ARC of this book from the author however this in no way influenced my opinion and I am under no obligation to leave a review.

Science. This book challenges your current approach to life. Breakthrough research plus commonsense lifestyle advice lead this author to make some “out there“ conclusions and claims. He makes them fearlessly and with detailed supporting arguments quoting history, science and his own life experiences as well as the experiences of his family. It is a book filled with exhortation, motivation and a call to arms to save the planet. The author does this with great risk. Philosophers, pop psychologists and other scientists both inside and outside his field have reacted negatively to his conclusions. Despite this pushback, which will be exacerbated after the publication of this book, the author pushes on, regardless of this risk. This book could easily go down as the seminal work in the area of ageing and it’s cure. I for one hope it does.

They did a good! App needed work. Leaving original review but the app has had most of the listed missing features fixed since. One feature I still desperately want is sharing of book collections so I can recommend some of the 250 books I have read. Several small things need adjusting. Searches don’t take into account the series they belong to anymore. You cannot see which book is next in a series within the app. Downloads in progress don’t show up at the top of the library. Collections can’t be shared. Play speed modifier is no longer a slider, only in 10% chunks which is annoying. The rest of the app is functional, but has plenty of quality of life improvements that are missing.

One of my Top 3 Apps- BUT.... I love my Audible App & use it daily. There really is something incredibly special & satisfying about hearing your favourite stories brought to vivid life by a talented narrator. My job involves spending all day looking at a computer screen so my eyes struggle to cope with the added strain of reading on top of work- my audible app means I can still emerge myself in so many of the literary worlds I love. My ONE complaint? Since the last 2-3 versions have been released, sometimes I can’t get newly purchased books to download. REALLY annoying. Most of the time (90-95%) I just wait a day or so & the problem fixes itself. Once or twice now I’ve had to delete the App, shut down my phone & then RE-install the App again once I’ve turned my iPhone back on. This seems to be a recurring theme in a lot of the most recent reviews- wish they would fix whatever bug it is, because otherwise this App is the best thing to happen to my ability to keep reading for enjoyment in a long, long time!

Finally know what I'm here to do. I've been a seeker all my life. A seeker of higher truths and purpose. Life has become particularly challenging lately making it very uncomfortable to live as I have been- Connected heavily to the external world and taken on a merry little roller coaster ride based on daily occurrences, experiences and world events. The answer is to go within. Enter through the body into your eternalness. Enter through meditation into a place of support, calm, peace, bliss, the unknown, the unfamiliar, unlimited possibility. Thanks Joe for this amazing road map to my inner place of peace, connectedness and my true nature. It's working and I will practice daily. Can't wait to do one of your week long events. I really needed this right now.

Censorship, Waste of Time, Just buy a book in Real Life. I have seen this app, push really hard in the country I live in. And I was intrigued. I downloaded the app and fiddled around with it till I figured out you cannot purchase in the app itself. Fair enough, it took some time to figure it out but not too much. Then I went on the website. Carefully browse through the selection of books I wanted because the “books” aren’t cheap, all of the ones of interest most likely are about $30-$48 mark. That means that I listen through the sample, read out reviews, compared narrators for a few different books. Finally, I decide to make a purchase. And I get a error message “Sorry, this book is not available to purchase in your Region/country!” Wow! Digital age is coming and it’s a lot easier to restrict and censorship people and knowledge, bit concerning. Buy a book in real life, support that book store. Really disappointed and really a waste of my time.

Wow! Just wow!. At the start of reading the book I did find some of the terminology within it quite hard to digest due to the complexity of the words written. I found myself having to stop and reference the dictionary but did write down paragraphs that I did understand for later reference. I also bought the hardback and read it that way for a while for a different experience. By the time I got half way through I felt the need to stop for a while. After coming back to the book and using a different technique of digestion (particularly towards the end) of coming down to my alpha state and with the realisation of reality from a quantum perspective, I was able to absorb every single word. By the time you get to the end your ‘aha’ and ‘holy f$&@k’ will appear. I’m actually pretty excited for you to read this book. Enjoy xx Amanda

Good app but can’t purchase extra credits. Love the app. Downloaded my first book and listened to it over 3 days. I know want to purchase more but apparently I have to wait 30 days to!?! Why? Im an interstate truck driver I would listen to a book if not 2 every week as I’m behind the wheel 55 hours a week. So my choices are go without (which as listening to audio books helps with my fatigue that’s not an option) or just buy the books through apples book store which I really didn’t want to do as they cost more and I wanted all my books on 1 app and they don’t sinc between the two apps as my audible account is in my husbands name as he to wants to downloaf books as we both drive the same truck doing 2up. Support please chance this policy it’s a stupid policy! Other then that I’d be giving a 5 star rating

Super handy, love it except for.... Really not a fan of the new library storage system. I switch between my and my husband’s accounts regularly and it used to be if I downloaded an audiobook but switched to the other account I could still access the downloaded audiobook, but it no longer does. Mine and my husbands accounts are very intermingled: books for both of us, times we wanted a book but had no credits so bought it with the other’s account. Also because we’ve both been members for years we have 100+ books each so we have to scroll and scroll and scroll only to realize the book is on the other account. Please go back to the old way it was much easier for families like ours. On the upsides though the app is quick, simple to use, never fails to remember where I'm up to(which is super handy when reading epic fantasy) and the sound quality is exemplary. Very pleased with it and will stick with Audible for the foreseeable future (tho I'd love a fix for my downloading issue ;p )

Thoroughly researched story told well. I really enjoyed listening to this book. It taught me a lot about so many different things - geography, archeology, anthropology, navigating by stars, sea currents, diet, linguistics, how history is passed down and so on, and how all of these aspects came into play when researching and trying to understand the evolution of Polynesian peoples (from a European perspective). One thing I longed for was a map to look at to understand more fully where all the islands are in relation to each other, though it was well explained how far apart they are and how and why it was challenging for European explorers to discover them in the first place, hence the premise of the book in the first place. I also wanted to see written down some of the Polynesian names and terms to gauge accuracy of pronunciation.

Hate new App front page. Audible app is definately in my top 5 apps I go for on a daily basis on my iPhone and iPad. First thing when I get in the car I select my latest book to listen to. When I'm at my desk I set my phone on it's dock and continue 'reading' while I work and the same goes when I'm cooking. I use this more than iTunes nowadays. It isn't perfect - I don't download to my phone anymore because usually I get an error message after it's downloaded the first 5-10% of a book, and then just stops - nothing will get a download past the first 10% no matter how I tweak the settings. So now I just download to my Mac and drop it into iTunes, to load up when I sync next. It's a bit of a nuisance but.... This never used to happen, just since 2 or 3 revisions ago. I can live with the inconvenience though. What I couldn't live without now is the App itself - it's so convenient to listen to a book rather than have to give a book your whole attention as with a paper book or eBook - although I read plenty of them too. My only real hate is the ‘dashboard’/home page the app starts on now. I’m not interested in whatever it has to say...all I want is my Library when I open the app.

Not what I expected. Not being a gamer and definitely sitting outside the demographic of readers who would normally be interested in a futuristic online world, I was surprised at how much I loved this book. Exciting and fast paced with well rounded characters I felt like I was a young girl again and as excited as when I read “The Lion the witch and the Wardrobe” many many years ago. Listening on audible made it all that easier and I probably would have struggled to read it. The narrator has a strong and clear voice and managed to tackle all the different characters with finesse and talent. I loved this story and would recommend to anyone interested in a tale to take you away and sweep you into an online world of the future.

More credits. I have been using audible for nearly a year now and I can say it has without a doubt opened my mind up to another universe that I hadn’t known about til now, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves books but either doesn’t have the time to physically read them or even has issues concentrating on reading print like myself. This app has changed my life I recommend it to all of my friends regularly and with the subscription you get a new book each month. One suggestion I would have for the makers is possibly adding an option to buy credits in bulk for cheaper prices, sometimes I want to read a new series of books but find myself not wanting to waste credits/$15 on books between 5-10 hours as I can finish that in a day or so, if I had the option to buy more in one go I wouldn’t find myself skipping series that have shorter books at the beginning. Aside from that it’s basically flawless in my eyes, keep up the good work guys!

Not now, not ever. Let’s make it happen.. This is a wonderful, comprehensive, comprehensive dissertation on misogyny and how it pervades every aspect of our world and undermines all that women have to offer the world. The barriers we face on the path to gender equality, pave the road we must all take to brake down this institution of misogyny. It highlights the complexity of misogyny when it is viewed with the overlay of race and how much harder intersectional bias makes breaking the misogynistic barriers for women of colour. Thank you to the women who have come before me and highlighted these obstacles and started to break them down. You are inspiring. I hope I can do my part to help break them down further for my two daughters.

Dear Audible, I think I love you. I am a happy customer. I was going to go with audiobooks but because they are cheaper and I liked the look of potential unlimited listens (though I don't think they do that) anyway, couldn't get them because I live in Australia so I tried audible instead. A little more (very marginally) but the customer service is fantastic. The selection of books is excellent, and constantly improving. They didn't have a series I wanted to listen to so I wrote to them, the very next month the entire series was available! I've noticed they have stopped splitting the long books into parts, which is also fantastic (please keep going with that). If I ever have an issue and write to them it's solved sometimes within a few hours, never more than a day. It all comes down to customer service. They listen to their customers and improve where they can. They make it so easy! Thanks Audible!!

Cannot easily pause membership a second time. I paused my membership for three months because I wasn’t using the app very much. Audible charged after three months, without any reminder that they were going to do so. I didn’t like the way they did this and tried to pause my membership again, but after much searching found I had to call or email to do this, even though I met their criteria. I emailed to ask for a refund and just cancel, as this wasted lots of my time. Audible did refund and cancel, but didn’t warn about taking my credits. They took away my 3 credits (worth around $50). Asked them to return the credits and they said no. In my opinion, Audible is not good at making billing processes clear and it was hard to cancel (I had to do this on a desktop). ***Update - Audible reinstated the lost credits. Thank you.***

Love Audible. I am a Star Wars fan of 45 years, and set my task to once again read all the EU (Legends) books in order. With the help of Youtini’s chronological list, I have been choosing 2-3 books a month to reread. This review only gives 4/5 stars because so many of the older books are abridged and seem to go out of their way to miss really important conversations, thoughts and actions, particularly of Luke Skywalker, who is my favourite hero … but I do own a lot of the actual books, so I go back to them from time to time to find out what really happened! I love the more recent unabridged books and am thoroughly enjoying the full Thrawn Trilogy right now. Best of all, I have a slightly deaf ear due to a childhood injury, and I can hear the books directly through my hearing aid. And nobody knows I’m listening to a great story while at work!

Read this!. It is an amazing app, it helps me getting things done quicker e.g. if there is some homework I need to do about a book I can listen to it on audible while cleaning or working out. Something I found annoying about this app (although it has only happened once over the five years of me using it) is that there are some book series they don’t finish. They do the first few books but then the last one isn’t on here. Overall this app is amazing and I suggest buying it. It is a great way to save time. Getting this app also allows you to avoid the cliffhangers when you finish reading a chapter and have to go to bed. You can listen to the story while going to sleep and enjoy it all. I hope you discover some amazing books on this app.

For sci fi lovers. I throughly enjoyed the scientific fiction … and some surprises… I haven’t been so engaged since listening to Rama series. I recommend for like minded SCIENCE and Technology fiction readers. I have read some of the criticisms, and maybe this is not for lovers of perfect literary prose - but i think the sci-fi content balances the scoreboard far in to the positive. Some of the criticisms about the literary clumsiness, like repetition of concepts in single sentences and seemingly disproportionate time devoted to some scenes. I did not notice the repetition, and because I listened while on the move, it may have helped me. I found the seemingly disproportionate time not inappropriate, when considering the writers ‘time dilation’ from a scientific perspective- i won’t explain for fear of giving something away eheh heh). I am reading on… Thanks Stephen, thanks R.C.

Stealing My Money. This is the worst app. I bought one book in april and finished it and i thought i could stop my subscription to stop paying for something so it did. But then 5 months go by and every month i pay $16 and I DELETED THE APP. I downloaded the app again to see if i could get rid of my card or stop a subscription somehow but i couldn’t find it anywhere. I thought there would be some place where i could remove my card in edit profile but NO, nothing. Not even customer support could help me, i searched up how to stop payment and how to stop subscription, but no results came up for one and only three on the one about stopping payment. There was only one stopping payment answer that was even related to my problem and it didn’t even help. I tried to email them and ask but they said to look at customer support. On the app it says there is something wrong with my credit card and to look it up on the internet but i’m never works. They are still charging me $16 dollars every month.

Horrible app for iwatch. I love audible for my phone, but I have never been able to get the app to work properly on iwatch. It either never downloads fully, or does download but is unplayable. Takes over 30 minutes to download and is the most frustrating process I’ve dealt with on the apple platform.

Can't even see your own wishlist. Great for listening to audiobooks, but it's pretty dumb that you can add stuff to your wishlist in the app, but can't see your wishlist or buy books from the app.

Not an app. Non-functional. Used Try App and downloaded the samples but it completely refused to even try to play them.

Hard to use. Trying to figure out how to purchase and access content is challenging. Even free content. I still haven’t figured it out, I gave up on the app before I could successfully finish listening to a story. The library is enticing though.

Glitchy and buggy. Why in the world do I have to wait for the home page to load before accessing my library or anything else in the app? And why does every page take an eon to load? The entire user experience on this app is glitchy and filled with frustration.

Pay to pay again?. So I paid for monthly subscription, which grants me ONE credit for ONE audio book but I am expected to pay for anything after?

Brilliant. He inherited his mother’s principles. Thank God!

Many faults. Where is the free category? Can’t buy and download directly in the app? Seriously!?!? Work it out with Apple! I’m sure you can find a way.

Frustrating. I wanted was to go somewhere to listen to books. I can’t even purchase the books I want to listen with no information on how to purchase a book. All I got is a wish list. Where do you go from there????

Ridiculous. One of the worst experiences ever on an App. How do you buy books? You don’t, they sit in your wishlist forever because you can only listen to 5 minute samples.

Thank you Tim!. Tim is my mentor. I am so blessed.

Phone app is good, Watch app is super annoying. This is a tough review to write. The iPhone app is pretty awesome. It works very well most of the time with only the occasional crash. (It also sometimes does not play well with my car’s audio system, but I suspect that’s more about my Hyundai than it is a failing of the Audible app!) The Apple Watch app, however is a complete train-wreck. When you’re playing an audiobook on your phone, it completely takes over your watch and DEMANDS that you feed it a book. You can try to dismiss it, but it just pops back up and tells you again how you can sync a book to your watch. Again and again and again. It is evil. Once you’ve sacrificed a book to the watch app (which takes FOREVER!), you then get player controls that, again, can’t be dismissed. When you’re playing an audiobook, you no longer have a watch. You have an Audible remote control. That is all you can do. Funny thing is that without the Audible watch app installed, you still have control using the built in Now Playing function so the app literally adds nothing except the ability to listen to audiobooks when you’re not near your phone and endless, endless annoyance. Best thing you can do is uninstall it as soon as possible.

Buggy, expensive, bloated, wont sync with Apple Watch. ...but apart from that, great! Sent a detailed description of my issue to support. They sent me instructions for how to install the app, and a cheerful promise that I would then be able to listen to audiobooks. Deleting and reinstalling, this app now comes with half a dozen excerpts of books, in French for some reason, with no option to delete them. Maybe it’s mad at me because I wouldn’t share my iTunes library with it? When it is “working”, I can search for books but get a message that says “this app can not be used to purchase content” even though I am a subscriber. I have to go to a separate website if I actually want any of the books.

Play doesn’t work. Play button doesn’t play... you have to press it 2 or 3 times. This issue has been going on for over a year and they’ve yet to fix it. Many people have reported the bug but they just don’t seem to care.

Completely useless app on IOS. Go ahead see for yourself. Download audible and try and buy yourself a book. Here’s a hint you can’t. You can’t do anything on the app other than browse titles. Ridiculously convoluted interface for something produced by a huge company in 2020. For the record, to purchase you must open your account in a browser and purchase in browser then you can listen through their app. Would be an easy 5 stars if I could simply download and use Apple Pay to purchase books and listen to them immediately after downloading. If you don’t know already there are massive archives of free ebooks and audiobooks all over the internet. No need to be bent over a barrel price wise and robbed of your time trying to figure out how to give Amazon your money.

Too many glitches. Randomly crashes and can’t remember your place. Cannot sync between devices. Doesn’t allow for varying skips forward and back. The free library app is better and the books aren’t outrageously priced.

Poor purchasing options for credits and bad customer service. Update/Edit: I cancelled my Audible subscription before the deadline, but they’re still charging me an extra months fee (with 1 credit received). Audible isn’t a f$&@ing apartment rental that requires 30 days notice; it’s a digital brook app. This will make me unlikely to come back to Audible in the future as I feel ripped off and misled. Bad customer service!! :(( I recommend avoiding Audible until they change some features and rules that they have in place. Too limiting and a poorly designed app = bad experience so far. I go t Audible again for the first time in a few years to join a book club. Audio books and increasing read time help my finish books on time… but Audible he made poor business decisions that are unfriendly to customers: 1. No purchase of credits for the first 30 days: the embargo on purchasing new credits is a bad policy. Please adjust it so that I am not held prisoner by your arbitrary timelines. I pay for a subscription that gets a credit, but not being able to buy additional credits until month 2 is stupid. 2. Customer service is poor. Even the tab in the profile settings for “Help & Support” don’t work. As soon as an alternative to Audible comes my way I will provably cancel my subscription because of the limits on buying more credits.

This app is a scam. I recently upgraded my phone and after I redownloaded the audible app they didn’t let me redownload the books I already paid for. What a disappointment, such a big company and they’re scamming the little guy.

Never Get This. I’m warning you, never get this app or pay for the membership. What a waste of money, and they make it impossible to cancel the membership. $15 gone from my account after I thought I canceled my membership. Thanks, guess I’ll wait until my next paycheck to buy groceries, not like I need to eat, Audible.

App on iOS is seriously lacking in functionality. The selection on here is great, but other than that, the iOS version of the app leaves a lot to be desired. You can’t purchase an audiobook on the app, you can’t even access your wishlist from the app. You can’t cancel your subscription from the app. Whatever you purchase is forever stuck on the Audible app and can’t be transferred elsewhere. All you can do is review titles on the app and play the purchased content, and then everything else has to be done online. Come on, guys! What’s the point of even having an app then that has nearly zero functionality?

Great Content, Terrible App. Audible’s content is first rate, but their app is a travesty. Offline usage is spotty at best. Downloaded titles sometimes won’t load when offline. The watch app is completely unusable when offline. All I want is to start my book when I’m in the car! Maybe rewind it a little. Not possible, sorry. Need wifi for that. Their interface also has poor design choices. For example, the default action when tapping a book is to start it. No, I want to look at its details, like every other media app. Sigh. It’s a real shame, as their app severely reduces the listening experience.

Hard to cancel. ‘Free trial’ but you need a desktop to even cancel. You cannot cancel through mobile or the app but you can use those to sign up. Don’t fall for it.

there could be major improvements to this app. The app worked better before, after all these updates the app for IOS is very flaky. Cuts out, freezes, stops, won’t load, a whole mess of things. My rating has gone down for this app since the quality has gone down significantly.

Too bad zero stars isn’t an option.. I have 77 titles in my library that I’ve purchased throughout the years. It’s been awhile since I’ve listened to any of them and I thought it would be a good time to go through some again. Turns out I can’t listen to any of my (previously purchased) property without signing up and paying for them again.

Frustrating despite great UI. I like the UI of the Apple Watch app. The big play/pause button in the middle works great. I like how I can slide the same button to the left to rewind. Good design. However, I’ve deleted the app. Why? Because it does not remember where I was and keeps going back to the beginning. I cannot stand it. It’s just too frustrating. This lack of position remembering and syncing with the iPhone completely ruined the user experience despite the good UI design. I’ll use the app again only if this fatal defect is fixed.

Worse than it used to be. I've been using this app for years and mostly it is good. Recently, though, it has been updated (or, as Steve Martin says, de-proved) to show you an add for a book when you launch it instead of showing you the book you are currently reading. It's extremely annoying plus the ad it keeps showing me is for a book that Audible/Amazon should really know I would never read, given my library/history. Audible, turn off the dumb ads. You make enough money already without annoying your customers this way.

Hard to use. App doesn’t explain how to use it. I had to look up how to buy a book. Then I couldn’t get into my account because of “suspicious activity on my account” so I got a message saying they sent me an email to unlock my account which I waited hours for and never got. Downloaded and deleted in the same day.

Can't download. Stupid to down load this app. Use a different one that will actually let you download a book in the app. I've already deleted this app. It's crap!!

Needs data to listen too. I bought up to 100 audiobooks in 8 years of being a member. Love to listen to a book when I shop, walk, drive or clean at home. I used to download it on my many devices and change books to one I prefered depending on the time of day, but with roaming data off, because I don’t need data when the book is already on my device… right? Wrong ! Nightmarish damnest thing. What’s the use of downloading it then ? Lost one star because the app wants to track my every move. Would lose 2000$ worth of books if I were to cancel, but I am thinking about it.

Credits. I’m not getting my monthly credits, I downloaded this app like way back in January 1st and not once have I gotten monthly free credits, you really need to fix that or this app is a straight up scam

Very difficult to cancel subscription. I subscribed to Audible but found listening to books wasn’t for me. When I went to cancel, I found it difficult throughout the process. You can’t cancel from the app or through the mobile site...only the desktop.

Stupid App. They make it way to complicated just to listen to books, which you have to buy, besides the 14$/a month you already pay!! I can’t believe people have rated this 5 stars, barely deserves 1.

Still being charged. I signed up through a free trial on Amazon and have never used it. After I deleted the app I thought it was canceled. There isn’t anywhere on the app to cancel my subscription and I spent all day talking to Amazon customer service only to hear I need to cancel through Audible but you can’t cancel through the app and I can’t get through to customer service. My next step is to contact my credit card to go after them. If it’s this difficult for me I can’t imagine an elderly person trying to cancel. I think they bank on ppl giving up and just paying them forever.

Everyone should read or hear this book!. Fabulous book full of humour and excellent points! For those with pre-conceived notions of Milo being this horrid person, I challenge you to actually listen to what he has to say. You may not agree with absolutely everything, but I'm sure if you're a rational human being, you'll survive and probably even learn!

Great service, terrible app. I absolutely love audio books and audible has a great selection but the app and web interface of Audible is miserable. The search and browse functionalities are a nightmare, the recommendations section is terrible and inaccurate. SO much could be done to greatly improve the user experience here and it’s disappointing such a large and successful tech company provides this low quality of customer experience.

New update needs to be fixed. Can you please take the genre sorting off? It is so hard to find my books in any logical order now. The books aren’t sorted into appropriate genres and some of my books are not even showing up. Please put it back to sort by author or sort alphabetically by title, or by most recent. Anything but by genres would be better. I love audible otherwise. I just don’t understand this update and sorting method.

SO GLITCHY AND SLOW. The selection included with subscription is excellent and varied, lots of classics, and so many well-curated narrators and cultivated contemporary offering. But it takes FOREVER to download books, and often I have to quit the app multiple times before I can finally get it going smoothly. And no, it’s not my phone, thanks, my other apps work fine. Anyway, can someone from your big ol corporate conglomerate figure it out? Much obliged.

Brutal. Very user unfriendly! Can’t access my wish list on my phone, can’t use my credits from my phone. Why is there an app for your phone if none of the features function. Dumb. App should be called inaudible.

stealing my money. has been taking money out of my card and not allowing me to cancel my membership!

Audible. They changed the app so you have to continuously be connected to the internet to listen to the books you have downloaded. This destroys much of my listening use.

Not Impressed. Downloaded and paid for membership back in February. Cancelled membership on audible.com over the summer but still found they were still charging me monthly after the fact. Called customer support to find out what the charge is for. Ended up finding out audible.ca had been charging me - even though audible.ca came out after I had bought the membership. Issue: audible.com says I am not enrolled in a membership, whereas audible.ca says that I am. I understand that these are two different services but this is one company. I think it’s ridiculous and very misleading that one company related site would say I don’t have a membership, while another company related site says that I do. Customer service did not even offer a refund for the months I cancelled my subscription on audible.com Please work on having some sort of uniformity when it comes to membership information displayed across your websites.

Can’t play without data or being in service. Absolute garbage. Have had the app since 2018 and now being forced to use data to stream already downloaded books. Also stopped working when I am out of a service area. Fix this asap! I checked audible trouble shooting and it clearly says you don’t need data to stream already downloaded books nor is being in service necessary for the same.

Why I’m cancelling. There is so much I love about Audible- the price, the selection, the ease of use. So why am I cancelling? Because they got greedy. I am getting more credits than I am using and need a month to catch up. They make it really easy to give them my money, but they make it much harder to stop giving them my money. You have to go onto a website through your laptop or desktop and sign in. There needs to be an in-app way of pausing an account that is as easy as activating it. The designers know that this extra step means a lot of people won’t do it. This is exploitive. If there was an in-app way of pausing the account, I would have done so until I used my credits. But since they make a bunch of unnecessary steps before they stop charging my credit card, I am cancelling. Audible gets nothing more from me.

Terrible UX. It should not be this difficult to BUY something from a company. I should be able to make purchases inside the app or at least click a button that would take me directly to an outside URL where I can pay for the item I want. Will delete app after listening to a podcast series only on Audible.

Désabonnement très compliqué. Il faut aller sur la page web et non dans l’application, et meme là c’est loin d’etre evident. On a l’impression de se faire avoir comme consommateur, alors je ne rcommande pas!

Terrible. Downloaded then deleted this app right away. Extremely confusing to use. How do you buy books? And where is my wish list stored?

HORRIBLE APP. This is bar far the worst app on iOS. I cannot understand how anyone would rate this five stars. It is the most un-user friendly app I’ve ever been on. Feels like it was made by 5th graders.

User beware. This app deletes all purchased book tokens, regardless of count, if you cancel the service. I had a purportedly odd situation of having my accrued tokens deducted when I opted to pay cash for an audio book. Some audio books will not be worth the monthly book time you get from the subscription. Instead of investigating my complaints I received formulaic responses about browser caches and otherwise. After deciding to cancel, only the did I learn that all the money I spent on book tokens was going to be deleted. Every other service I have ever dealt with at the very least offers some manner of refund for the unused portion of the service. So beware. Audible comes with a very unpleasant lock-in mechanism that will punish you for cancelling.

Amazon. Hi so I’d like to listen to another book but it says they only give one token a month. I see no way to buy another. The support line is terrible!! Your actually calling Amazon which is a bit headache. They need to ad in the ability to buy another credit without have to CALL Amazon.

Waste of money. They charge you for the subscription and give you credits, but if you cancel the subcription they remove the credits YOU PAID FOR and you just ended up paying for NOTHING. Freaking scam

This should be a 5-star review-30 second rewind gone. Unfortunately recent updates of the app changed what was an elegant solution to an important feature to one that doesn’t work at all. In past versions Audible app had a feature that quickly allowed you to change the rewind or advance buttons from ones that rewound to the beginning or ends of a chapter to one that changed the buttons to rewound or advance 30 seconds only. Even better you could tap these buttons multiple times and, for example, quickly replay a short passage you need to hear again. The most recent updates killed this value-added feature and made it so you have to swipe backwards and forwards an indeterminate time. This feature is value taken away! I am an avid listener and have purchased almost 600 books from Audible. The content and some of the narration are excellent. I hope they pay attention to their frequent listeners and fix their clunky new software versions to the great tools they had until recent releases. It is frustrating when an app you use regularly changes from excellent to mediocre.

Updated review.. Still great. Still no Audible for Apple Watch! I really hope you will provide this great service on Apple Watch! Please make an Audible app for Apple Watch there are some nice improvements, but I can't focus on them as long as my chief gripe isn't addressed. At the very least, please tell your loyal customers whether you are trying to do this--or if you are even considering it. Audible is one of the apps I use out often. I bought an Apple watch so I could listen to audiobooks while walking my dog and could leave my iPhone at home sometimes. I have seen some work-arounds, but so far have not been able to listen to audiobooks on my watch. Audible doesn't show any inclination to develop an Apple watch app. I have asked. I guess I will try purchasing an audio book from iTunes, and see if that works. If it does (which I am not optimistic about) I might have to make my walking purchases from iTunes instead of Audible. I wouldn't like to ditch my Audible account to completely, as I love it. The hundreds of dollars I have spent on Audible books proves that. But I disappointed at this apparent indifference to the requests of Audible's most loyal customers.

Enroll In Drive-time U. I absolutely love audible! Rarely do I listen to music any longer because I always have an audiobook on the go. In my case, almost everything I listen to is related to business or personal development and it is such a good way to stay engaged in my continual growth and education. Having said that, the vast majority of my listening time comes solely while I’m driving, time that I would have otherwise wasted. What an incredible way to work on yourself, your goals, and your aspirations without having to take additional time out of your busy day to sit down and read. I have also started using audible as a means of filtering the books I am willing to read as I tend to be the write in the margins, take notes, and underline kind of guy while reading, and that’s just a time consuming effort. Now rather than going through that process with a book that I don’t find to be quite as beneficial, I am able to listen to more and filter out only those which are going to be the best so I can focus my reading/study material on only that which will be the most beneficial and applicable to me at the time.

Taking money but not giving me credits. This app worked for the first month or so, I had three books with the premium subscription (not premium plus) and then for some reason it just stopped. I waited until the day where I was SUPPOSED to get a credit but low and behold none actually came in. I was very upset because I got audible specifically for series books but now I was stuck and it wasn’t giving me credits. I eventually calmed down thinking that it just didn’t have my card details (I went to the help website and I figured I wasn’t getting credits because of that) and thought that it was just stalled, and unable to make any purchases which is why I wasn’t getting credits. Well I didn’t save my card details in my phone and I didn’t want it to so I just let it sit there for another month. Until around 2 in the morning I found out that the app WAS still making purchases, the monthly purchases. Without giving me credits???? What’s happened to my credit every month guaranteed???? I tried to refund but this app doesn’t have receipts so enjoy that +8.00 you took from me at 2 in the morning. I hope you spend it well because I know for sure that didn’t get used on my credits

A Must Read about the power of love, loyalty, and truly being one’s authentic self!. The book Black Cake was well written and intriguing! Although the story starts off slow from my perspective, as you begin to read you will come to learn that it was both intentional and methodically done for the reader to follow the framework the author intended to use for the duration of the book. The story’s plot line and themes were well integrated with one another. Falling in love with the main character is inevitable as you can connect with her immediately in some form or fashion. The author did a spectacular job incorporating the past with the present, as they sprinkled just a right amount of racial inequity, sexism, the effects of colonialism, and social injustice without taking away from the storyline and/or theme! This was far one of the most in-captivating storylines I’ve read thus far, if not for the ending alone! Black Cale is definitely a must read, especially if you’re a believer in the power of love and appreciative of loyalty, dedication, and being ones authentic self!

Useless and rude customer service. I loved the app until I upgraded my phone. (iphone XR)The app wouldn’t let me play back anything. I called and they attempted to help me troubleshoot the problem. It’s the app not the phone. Nothing worked so they had to create a ticket. They told me it would take up to five days to hear back from the back office team. Five days seem like a lot. I used this app daily. The next day I called back to see if someone else could help me. He looked at the ticket and told me the full details of my issue weren’t even on the file. We updated the ticket tried to help me troubleshoot still no results.7 days later still no call back. So I called again and was given answers like “I don’t know when they’ll call you” or “I don’t know, maybe” when I asked to speak to someone else because this gentleman did not have any answers for me his reply was “why do you want speak to someone else”. I had to hang up because he wouldn’t let me talk to anyone else. I purchased over $50 in credits before this happened. I canceled the morning that fees but let’s see how that goes.

Good, pacing a bit odd. So for the most part, I thought this was a good course. I feel pretty confident with the material presented without having to study beyond listening and paying attention once through. Two things did annoy me — the dumbing down of grammatical concepts (would it have been so hard to add the word ‘particle’ to our English vocabulary?), and the pacing in places. It could be a bit slow, but okay… at one point about halfway through the course, without announcing a review, and there was a very long stretch of not learning anything new. But then, at the end of the course, after full course review, in the last 15 minutes… they crammed in numbers, and I don’t mean just 1-10, I mean the concept of counters, 1-10 in counting dishes, and 1-10,000 in regular numbers! This part was so much faster than the rest of the course that it seemed ridiculous. It expected me to know the 1-10 for dishes after being exposed only once, and offered no practice at all going from 1-10,000. A bizarre choice that seemed like a tacked-on afterthought…

Eye-opening and impactful. As always, Kristin Hannah has crafted a well written book that holds your attention from beginning to end. This is an up close and personal look at the women who served. The TV program MASH, at least shed some light on what went on as far as the dedicated men and women who faced the wounded on a daily basis, but the accounts in this book shows those events in all their grizzly detail with no comedic relief like there was on TV. What the Vietnam veterans went through, and in particular, as shown in this book, what the women went through, is nothing short of tragic. Time after time, while seeking help, women were told there were no women in Vietnam. They turned away from veterans programs and may just feel like they sacrifices and service were not even noticed. I recommend this book. And if like me, you find it hard to listen or read through certain parts of it, power through because us reading it is nothing at all compared with the people who lived it for real, and I feel like reading it and internalizing it was the least I could do.

Love the phone, hate the changes to the watch app. I have loved Audible for many many years and when the watch companion app was added it made it even better until… A couple of releases ago the ability to select books from either the phone or the watch was removed and now you can only control/listen to books downloaded to the watch, and worse yet from the watch. I have nearly 800 books in my Audible library and at any one time I’m switching between two or three, plus my Go To favorites. Assuming I wanted to download a handful of books to my watch, even if they would all fit which they won’t, and I was willing to take the hit on time between recharging which I’m not, the difficulty of finding one book out of many hundreds is a complete non-starter. You can’t even push the book from the phone to the app like you could in previous versions. I reported these problems to the developer directly and the response was the typical, “thank you for letting us know, we will take this into consideration for a future release,” which means they’ve mastered pretending to care without doing anything. Here we are 2 releases later and it’s still broken.

Love this app. I love Audible! Audible has one of the largest selection of books that I have ever had on a audiobook app. There is something for everyone. I have been reading Harry Potter and I am on Prisoner of Azkaban. For the past 2 books that I have read, I have gotten to sleep a lot faster. Before Audible, I would stay up all night because I was bored, but now I go to bed at 9:30 at the latest! Also, the people reading the books really match the vibe of the book. Great examples include the Dork Diaries series and Harry Potter series. Both of those readers read the stories in voices that match the book. Next, like I said, on Audible there is something for everyone. I have really enjoyed reading a book called the Golden Orchard and before, I would have never imagined myself reading a book like this. After your first book, I think that Audible takes you interest and suggests you books that are like the books you like or something totally different all together. Overall Audible is a total must have if you struggle with getting to sleep. 😃

Watchers by Dean Koontz. I first read watchers when I was in my early twenties, I had read other novels by Dean Koontz, The Door To December and Strangers were two of my favorites, and he was one of my favorite writers. I bought Watchers in hard cover when I saw it on the shelf and knew it was going to be good because Dean always entertained but I wasn’t prepared for the roller coaster of emotion that this novel would take me through. It was definitely high adventure and I already loved dogs but this story really opened my heart and mind to just how extraordinary they are. Watchers, like a few other novels that I’ve read has become like and old friend that’s always there, I’ve read the story many times over the years and it’s always been one of my most highly recommended books to read but unlike others, this one is in my heart. After many years I decided to experience Watchers in an audio book and again it didn’t disappoint. I laughed and I cried and I was once again transformed by this truly extraordinary tale! I love the characters like family, crazy right? Thank you, Dean.

Enjoy.....

What Happened to You?. After a lifetime of reading self help books, using self growth products and practices, this book explained why I spent nearly 40 years trying to fix myself. It has also allowed me to forgive myself for being who I was, and accept who I have become. This book has finally allowed me to stop trying to figure out what is wrong with me. It truly is about what happened to me and the information this book has ended my long search for understanding myself. I almost didn’t buy the book because I never wanted to feel like a victim of life and the title suggested that it might be another book pointing in that direction . It isn’t that and I can’t believe that I’ve finally found some answers. I am profoundly grateful for this book and the science behind it. I am a changed person and I can’t thank the authors enough for making it available. This is the first review I’ve ever written about anything. If you want to stop your self help journey, this is the book that actually can make the difference.

Return Policy Very Vague. So I did not know much about their return policy at first— so I purchased books without putting in too much thought, thinking that I can just return them if I don’t find them relevant to what I am looking for. Sort of like browsing in a bookstore- I don’t just pick up stuff, I like to look at their contents etc. This app isn’t meant for you if that is what you’re looking for. If you’re a browse-before-you-choose like me, they make it hard. Most audio books don’t come with chapter names so, while browsing, it’s impossible to know what topics a book covers just through the sample. At first, they told me I can return books if I don’t want to keep them, all I have to do is call them. I was quite happy with this but when I called today they told me that returns are only a privilege and I must remember that. Didn’t like the cautionary tone of this at all— most physical bookstores will let u return a book for a month. I well understand that book sellers want to give royalties, and I respect that. But I like to listen to books for my own research so really do want to have the option of doing a quick scan, which I can only do through a purchase. I ended up just cancelling my membership today.

Break Shot. Fabulous. Started it one night, finished it that night. Started it again, finished it again. I think I’ll enjoy being in this loop for the rest of my life. Thank you James. You’re 6 months older than me and we’ve had so many similarities in life, minus the hard drug addiction - yet I’m not sure that glass of white wine each evening I’d give up so easily. My family has had its troubles and now my daughter. It’s a family affair. I have those cocktail napkins that read: “Mental illness runs in my family, in fact it gallops.” So, I’d like to tell you how soothing it was to discover your book, your story, after all that music and, oh yes, those fabulous lyrics. I am proud of you in every single way and I wish you nothing but light and joy. I’d like to thank you for writing and singing the music that got me through the loneliness of young adulthood and which still comforts me in old age. I recommend your book, music and sensibilities to everyone from teenagers to 100+ years. As I listened each time to your book, I am renewed. As an agnostic person, I guess it’s as though you took me to church!

Terrible with Apple Watch. There are too many bugs to list with the Apple Watch. It’s beyond frustrating. Just syncing needs some major work - takes an eternity and you can’t use your phone during the sync process nor let it go to sleep. So you sit by your watch on the charger with your phone in your hand refreshing then audible library for an hour while it syncs. God forbid something happens in the middle because you then have to go through a horrible process of trying to delete it from the Watch correctly and restart the entire process. And sometimes it just disappears from the Watch and you can’t sync at all. So you have to remove the app from your phone and watch and reinstall and then restart the sync. And sometimes it will only sync half the book. Ugh. It’s terrible. I like to listen to books on my long runs and not have to take my phone but lately I’ve just given up. It’s happened the past several years, with different (upgraded) watches and phones. Would be great if these things could be fixed! Also, when you try to pick up off from other devices, it doesn’t always pick up from where you left off (like listening in my car to my phone or watch) so I have to try to find it. Great concept but the same problem for years with never any improvements.

Not a fan of the new look. I’ve been an Audible member from longer than I can remember and the years when the app was simple were good years, however over the last few years the app gets more complicated to use because they keep cramming new features in the app that I’ll never use. And yet they keep cramming stuff in there and the app requires a degree in Computer Science to decode it. I’ve invested a lot of money in buying these books to have them lost in an app that’s trying to do too much. Re: the loss of the 30 sec forward/back. They didn’t get rid of it, they just made it an either/or. If you go in settings, under player, you can either choose chapter or 30 sec. You can’t have both anymore. I wish you would make an Audible Classic app that just had the library and the player and left out the other stuff that I don’t use or at least provide a setting to simplify the app. I hope you would care about your customers who have spent a lot of money over the years to put out a product that is easy to navigate. That would be the right thing to do!

Really nice way to hack my life. I started using Audible a month or two ago when I realized that there are significant blocks of time in my life that I am not using as well as I would like. Specifically, the time I spend driving or exercising constitutes up to two hours per day that are necessary but not very intellectually stimulating. I had been listening to music when I exercised, and then it dawned on me that I could just as easily listen to audiobooks. There are any number of books I want to read but don’t because I have a hard time getting to them. Audible has helped solve that problem for me. Initially I thought listening rather than reading would be an inferior experience, but in fact after listening to a few books I’m finding that my attention and retention are comparable. Whenever possible I try to co-purchase the audio book with a Kindle version so I can switch between reading and listening. I think Kindle’s “whispersync” system for switching back and forth could be improved, but I can live with it. Overall I’ve been really pleased with the Audible experience.

I love the product. I love the product, I’ve been listening to all sorts of books since I started driving across the country for work. I like how you can download books and listen to them going over the mountains where you don’t have reception. I do not like how it crashes sometimes when there is not great signal. Sometimes even when the book has been downloaded to the device, the app won’t play the title because it can’t connect to the server. It’s very annoying when you straight up don’t have reception for 45 minutes through the mountains. I also wish they had a section of the search/library for “series” that would keep the books in chronological order. I was listening to a couple of series using the plus catalogue and didn’t know what the next book was. It would tell you only at the end of the book, but since I drive and sometimes didn’t have reception, it wasn’t always a option. Also, hitting next in series would usually not give you the option to listen to the title without purchasing, even when it was “included” if you did a normal search for it.

It’s her truth. Although the listen was a tough story to hear, the book is Britney’s truth in her own words. I am not here to judge her or her family. None of us are them. What I am left with is that mental health and control is incredibly personal. It is up to each of us to take care of ourselves and our lives knowing that relinquishing control to others can be an end to self-control and our ability to condition and discipline ourselves. No matter how wealthy or famous we are, having the right support around ourselves is critical, and Britney laid every detail out in hopes that her kids, family, and friends will understand that she is (especially now) living as she intends. Mental health and wellness is everything and deep lapses into darkness can overshadow our confidence, drive, and make our previous accomplishments fade. Drugs are so powerful that we need to be in control and have an understanding of a prescription’s role in our health journeys. If nothing else, I know that is what I got from this book, and I hope others heard it too. Michelle Williams did a great job just reading and not overdoing the narration. The book just needed to be read plainly, and I commend her for how she did it.

A Masterpiece of Insight: 'The End of the World: Just the Beginning' by Peter Zihan. I have to say that 'The End of the World: Just the Beginning' by Peter Zihan is hands down one of the best books I've had the pleasure of listening to in 2023. Zihan's narrative is not just captivating; it's a wake-up call to the realities of our world today. His deep insights into geopolitics, economics, and the interconnectedness of global affairs are eye-opening. Zihan's ability to break down complex concepts and present them in a digestible way is truly commendable. Throughout the book, I found myself nodding in agreement and, at times, reevaluating my understanding of the world's current state. His analysis of the challenges we face and potential paths forward is both insightful and thought-provoking. Moreover, his storytelling skills kept me hooked from start to finish. It's a book that not only informs but also entertains. If you're looking for a book that sheds light on the intricacies of our world and the challenges we must confront, 'The End of the World: Just the Beginning' is a must-read. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a deeper understanding of the global landscape.

That Voice. As a 74 year old white man growing up during the life time of Nelson Mandela I had forgotten how distinct his voice was. When ever I heard him speak on the radio or a Tv interview I new something important was going to be said. He was the Martin Luther King and Malcom X of South Africa combined. I watched Paul Simon in the video of his Africa Tour with machine gun toting military police stationed around the crowd and wondered what it meant to live under the apartheid regime. It made the civil rights debate even more poignant in my country. I wonder if South Africa has had better results in dealing with the inequality of apartheid than we have had with our own history of slavery and oppression of women, blacks, LGBTQ, native Americans etc. I also wonder in the time of Donald Trump is there a similar voice as recognizable as Mandelas was that can change the narrative in this country? On a lighter note the song by Paul Simon “She wore diamonds on the soles of her shoes” while referencing the diamond industries impact on South Africa society is still one of my favorites. Great work would recommend it to anyone interested in black history or democracy.

David. Love the app. , their deals are spectacular, the books are at a proper price, and I think the only thing I really had trouble with was transferring the books to my computer. But; I think they're a little laxed on their security protocols. I had been paying with my credit card. This is also the only thing I was using was said certain credit card. And it just so happens this is the only credit card that somebody was trying to steal. They need to think about accepting PayPal. Or beefing up their security. The main thing they need to do I think it’ll make it so that you can put books in the order that you would actually read what you collect. so many of the title’s i like so many numbers to target which goes in which order. my favorites The iron Druid it self is a wonderful and creative. It makes you think about all of the myths you've heard stories. Not many folks make me smile or laugh. But this is one of the few. Almost, but not quite; a rival to Jim butcher's Dresden files. He brings his characters to life, truly. His explanation of magic is very thought out in that direction best series going.

I have Mold Mycotoxins. I took the mycotoxins test by Great Plains Laboratory, now called Mosaic because of the years of feeling better when I was away from my home. I told this to my husband many times and it landed on deaf ears. I showed the test results to my husband and got a text later from him from a Dr he found on the internet saying mold is not an issue. I’m on my own to feel better as I was when I came down with Hosimoto’s Thyroiditis, this book as been immensely helpful!!! I had a tick bite while in college, that was over 50 years ago. I understand now that the lightening bolt pains at surgery sites isn’t because of the surgery, but from mycotoxins, as is the lightheadedness, sneezing, ear ringing. dark thoughts at times, vibrating feeling on my spine, and the strange episode of fainting for no reason while shopping, etc. I need to find a Dr that can help, but have started binders on my own so far and have seen some improvement. If you have strange symptoms that are unexplained, testing and this is a great book to begin your journey to discovery and wellbeing. I wish you help and health.

Incredibly practical and informative. This is a must listen to for any man that is interested in his psychological, emotional or spiritual life. This is not a bunch of Bible thumping or religiosity, although some scripture is used but in a very practical manner as far as how to live a better life every day as well as continue to grow through adversity and the seasons of life. Even my girlfriend found aspects of it super useful, so I think I’ll vote for men this is the type of Spiritual Food that are churches are not giving us. It is far beyond following the rules to get to heaven or being stuck in your head intellectually about religion. It’s about a lifestyle, and there’s a lot of research quoted about the problems men have throughout life starting off with poor relationships with their fathers. And if we don’t work on that stuff we passed the pain along to our family, friends and those around us. Pain that is not transformed is transmitted. If you want to be a better boyfriend or husband, son, father, grandfather or just a better man for your neighborhood and community this is a must listen to.

Credentials and syntax are 100% preacher. I read/listened this book as part of a book club. A few of us grew up in fundamentalist religious sects and, before chapter 1 ended, we all had the same takeaway: The author writes and speaks as if he’s giving a Sunday sermon. The syntax, the verbiage, the pitch. And it isn’t even a good Sunday sermon. It’s one of those sermons that rambles and crawls and loops around while you sit there, held hostage, just wanting to go home, change, pet your dog and eat something. This connection never left us and only grew stronger as the book progressed. Finally, I looked him up. His doctorate is in religious studies and his tenets are all based on an LDS framework. He attempts to utilize studies and theories of actual psychologists, but he goes too far out of the way to tie anything together. It’s as if he started in Florida and drove to Alaska when the end destination was Kansas, and we were stuck in the backseat. The first chapter is essentially CBT, but because this man is certainly no Aaron Beck, nothing is presented clearly. Just rambling, divided by subsections, and sections, and more subsections, interspersed with steps and the most droll anecdotes in the history of mankind. So very many anecdotes. I haven’t consumed worse literature since somebody in our group forced us to read that narcissistic trope Rachel Hollis.

Worst experience ever. I was incredibly excited to get my Audible subscription! I signed up for the most expensive plan because I love to read and I love audiobooks! To say I regret it now is an understatement. My card was charged and that my subscription never appeared in the app or online. I contacted Audible customer support and though they were friendly they told me my problem was with Apple because I had signed up to the app. I said there’s nothing they could do on their end. So I contacted Apple they told me that billing had gone through with no problems and that the subscription should be reflected in my membership. They said that if it did not it was a problem with Audible. I went back-and-forth like this three times with neither of them excepting responsibility or being able to help me. I finally gave up and demanded a refund for my subscription which I will happily processed they recommended that if I wanted to try again I call audible and make sure there wasn’t a problem with my membership first. I did this in the entire time the support specialist just tried to get my credit card information so they could sign me up again. I was beyond mad and it was not the time. I believe it could be a good app but when the app has such a problem that you pay and it won’t even show up that’s an issue. 😡

Pure pleasure. As a visually, impaired audible listener, I depend on voice to text. Please adjust any in corrections that method allows. This book is Tom Hanks start to finish. Tom exudes goodness in any role he plays. His essential humanity comes through, even the into frequent semi villainess roles. I really looked forward to this book. I have enjoyed books narrated by Tom Hanks in the past. His expressiveness is unequal. You can readily imagine him hearing all the backstory of all the main characters making this masterpiece movie. Right on down to the loneliest, coffee, grabber or gofer. Each is made real by their actual stories, which I cannot help, but think we’re gathered in person by one of the most sociable actors to ever spend time on a set. You start out at one space in a relationship with these characters and end up in a completely different spot at the end of the long read. I constantly thought if I were to describe this book, and I speak as the one who has read thousands of books, this one is pure pleasure. Constant ongoing, reading pleasure. Thank you Tom Hanks for being.

A must listen for every human soul. I have read many works of fiction in which great truths were revealed. Books like the Shack which reveal an understanding of the triune nature of God, Who Moved My Cheese - a motivational story on the importance of learning to adapt to changing environments but I have never read a fictional book (written 80 years ago) that does such an incredible job of taking some of the core messages of the Bible and weaving them into an entertaining and impactful message. To consider this book was written more than 80 years ago and so accurately describes not only the trajectory of the decades that followed but also the current state of human affairs it warrants a read by even the most skeptical of people who do not believe we exist in the middle of a conflict of good and evil. I am shocked this book has evaded my notice up until now but I am thankful it was recommended to me by a good friend. I encourage anyone who reads this review to listen to this book with an open heart and mind. Enjoy the brilliance of CS Lewis and his writing ability but do not miss the message which is rooted in biblical truth.

Mobile Version Fantastic. I really like like the fact that I can download Audible books using my iPhone. It used to be you had to download a book to your desktop or laptop, load it into iTunes and then sync my iPod with my MacBook. I was admitted to the hospital from my doctor's office through emergency. I couldn't go home and pick up my MacBook and iPod. I was so surprised and very happy to find the Audible mobile app in the Apple App Store. I was able to download books to listen to. It took my mind off being stuck in the hospital and after years of living on the road for work I’ve come to find listening to an audiobook to block out annoying sounds. I want to add another great feature I’ve found. This mobile app not only knows which books I already have in my library it also knows which book is next in the series for books that are in a series. Update: At some point the Apple Watch app was dropped so I can no longer control the volume and skip forward and backward on my watch while the audio book is playing on my MacBook, iPad or iPhone. I’d really like to see thes feature added back.

I love audible, but the app is horrible. I have been an audible member for many years. I would tell you how long, but even the website doesn’t tell you the date you purchased a book anymore. This isn’t about the web page though, so I’ll just say I have over 800 books on audible in the past 7 -10 years and have loved it. The app is terrible though. You can’t search only books you own, making it difficult to find things sometimes. Once you have found a book, you can’t see what other books are in the series, or even the order they are in. While you can download the books to listen to offline, it doesn’t download the cover art. This seems like something so simple, but is just one more example of how bad the app functions. The most recent problem, and the reason I finally decided to write a review, was that with the IOS 16.3 update, even if you download a book it won’t play without Wi-Fi. This means makes the app useless for flying on many of the older planes I find myself on, and going to more remote places those planes are taking me. I’m at the point where after maybe 7 years, I’m considering finally getting rid of my audible subscription. All of this is because of the poor quality and functionality of the app.

Growing Concerned now Annoyed. I am taking one star away in protest of audible missing a very essential part of choosing which book to read. Why, for the love of all things decent and humane, can’t this app list the books in a series in the book summary? Why? Just why? It would make it so much easier than having to switch to Google to search for the series then piece it together in audible. Come on man. That is ridiculous. Previous Review: Since the last update my app keeps crashing on the rate/review screen every time I select the more details option for a book on that page. The crash happens once I use the back arrow to return to the rate and review screen. The only option is to force close and reopen app, losing my current location even after adding the book to my library. Also, an oops screen has appeared at least 4 times today telling me there is a problem and to call customer service. When I reopen the app it loses the last location and I have to fast forward. Fix - Please and Thank you

Broken. This is the worse APP in Apple’s store. It has issues all the time. There are two pieces associated with Audible. One, the App on the iPhone. It is very slow at downloading books. It does seem to very reliable when downloading. It stops downloads randomly and could take multiple days to download a book. Two, the APP on the iWatch. It never seems to SYNC correctly when it SYNCs at all. I have had to delete books to start SYNCs multiple time to get it to SYNC. The last 10 books that I have SYNCed can’t SYNC all the chapter but thinks its SYNCed everything. It sometime duplicates chapters in the wrong place. Chapter One will show up for Chapter One then instead of Chapter Nine or Ten it will be Chapter One again. You can tell that it didn’t SYNC the right Chapter until it starts playing the chapter. It will show the correct time such as 15:35 but when it starts playing it will show the Chapter One time of 10:38 as it plays Chapter One as Chapter Nine or Ten. It would be excusable it it had been an issue reported on the internet for multiple years. If I had it to do again then I would not buy any books through Audible.

The Deepest Questions. Sanderson is masterful in allowing his stories to highlight and wrestle with the deepest questions of humanity. If you like a story to speak words that express truths you’ve felt but never had words for, look no further. Sanderson asks about truth, logic, morality, and hope in ways that are honest and applied to a real life - that is the life of the characters. His work is not full of platitudes nor do his characters offer complete answers. If you want a book that asks you to do nothing, if you don’t want a book that asks you to think, The Way of Kings isn’t the book for you. The characters are rich, real, and both fully human in their faults and lovable for their humanity that we can relate to. The story both takes us home to the feelings evoked by the great writers of old and yet defies convention and expectation. The narration takes a moment to adjust to. Michael Kramer’s voice is deep and soothing, not entirely differentiating between character accents or tones, yet we always know who is speaking… magic, I suppose. Kate’s voice is clear, easy to listen to, and expressive. An excellent production overall.

Obsessed.. I LOVE my Audible! I have had it for what seems like forever. I’ve used other free libraries and apps. But By far Audible is my favorite. I might be in a time in my life when I can listen to an entire book in a week … but realistically life gets in the way. Audible saves my place in the book and I can jump back into listening a week a month or even several months later. My daughter goes to college an hour away and I love listening to my Audible books while I drive because it’s always late and my route is complicated by deer crossings. Audible keeps me interested and wide awake so when there are inevitably deer ready to jump into or are standing in the misdle of the road I am alert hanging on every word - not mindlessly singing along and daydreaming. Yes I am a subscriber - no I don’t order every month. However my credits don’t go away so when I’m ready i can grab 2-3 ‘free’ books and add them to my collection - whether they are true crime, romance, biographies or just a cookbook I saw on Good Morning America! BEST APP EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heart changer!. Lysa does an amazingly transparent, simple, compelling and vulnerable job in describing and walking out forgiveness. While so much of this book is stuff that we know the way she goes about it is very refreshing and encouraging. Sharing her own journey and experiences in an honest and raw way is Incredibly helpful, challenging and inspiring. The inclusion of bitterness and codependency is a powerful component of this book.I will read the book again. I will do the study. And I will recommend it to others. You don’t have to be going through or have gone through what Lysa did in order to benefit from this book. I believe it’s a book that everyone should read. While every part of it will be for everyone I believe everyone can get something life-changing from it. here are two quotes that I loved from the end of the book about forgiveness. “ Even the most imperfect messy forgiveness filled with hesitation and resistance is better than letting bitterness have its way with your heart.” “You don’t have to cooperate with forgiveness perfectly just progressively for it to be good.”

Prince Harry’s book Spare. I enjoyed hearing the inside story of Prince Harry and Meghan’s experience. I believe anybody who trash talks this book is out of line. This is an account of his experience and why he felt it necessary to keep his family safe. The Press and their need to sell gossip which is part of Rupert Murdock’s empire is only concerned about making money and not at all concerned about the well being of people and their lives. Prince Harry was honest about the catch 22 he was in, being born into the role of being part of a Monarchy that had more to do about business and saving face than I ever realized. Do yourself a favor and hear Prince Harry’s truth and reasons to understand him, his family and the predicament all the family is in because it’s an Institution run by people outside of the family. The Monarchy is more than the individuals that are part of it. Prince Harry is Princess Diana’s son whose life was cut way too short by the hounding of the Paparazzi in their need to exploit the family, sell papers and make money for the Murdoch empire. Where did this all go wrong?

EXCELLENT STORY. There are two things listeners value most in an audiobook; one is a well-written, engaging story, and the second is a narrator with a clear, engaging voice. Rustlers Heist has both of these characteristics, and prolific author, Kasey Riley, always delivers. She has created the fictional Colorado town of Riverview, a small ranching community, and populated it with characters readers will enjoy. Sheriff Megan Holloway is the protagonist in this story as she copes with riders lost in the mountains, the town's only jewelry store robbed in broad daylight and the owner assaulted, a stolen vehicle, an elderly resident with a bullet wound, cornered in his cabin, and even some cattle rustlers who know beef is a valuable commodity. When Sheriff Megan feels overwhelmed and overloaded, the receptionist in her office quits abruptly, and Megan begins to wonder if she may have had a hand in some of these nefarious activities. Suspecting someone and gathering hard evidence are two different things, but slowly the clues come together. Are these a series of random acts, or are these events somehow connected? Kasey Riley keeps her readers guessing, so if you like mysteries, don't miss Rustlers Heist.

Love Audible but there are some snags with the app. I have hundreds of Audible books and I am a huge fan. This is my review of the app, however, and it needs some work. There are real issues with the sync feature. It doesn’t sync well with my kindle books; it certainly isn’t seamless and usually ends up just not doing it at all. Not sure the “whisper technology” even truly exists. I often buy the same book in multiple formats and shift between audio and print depending on where I am. The app doesn’t download my new books once purchased at times, but not always. It also doesn’t, and has never removed Kindle Unlimited titles I’ve borrowed and returned. They remain indefinitely, but give an error message if opened. I frequently have to completely delete the app and reinstall it. When I do that, all becomes well in my world and everything is in its place. But I don’t have any other apps that require that. I expect after years of using this app, and generations of updates, that these things would be fixed.

From 5 stars to one in one easy update. The most recent update (for iPad at least) has made the controls for playing an audiobook very inconvenient. Previously, on a book’s main page it was possible to toggle between moving forward and backward between chapters and moving either backwards or forwards by 30 second increments. Now only moving by chapters is allowed on the book’s main page. A user has to exit the book’s page to the mini player at the bottom of the book list or home page to be able to move backward by 30 second increments, and the ability to move forward by 30 second increments has been removed completely. Scrolling through the book, as always, is really only useful for moving backwards and forward by several minutes and is difficult to use for small increments. There have been changes to how action options can be accessed that are nice, but the change to the playback controls is so bad it overshadows any other good that might have been done. I’m very disappointed.
