Unworthy. This app reeks of troglodyte meddling, or management who have bonuses how to dealbwith this technology. Don't expect a worthwhile experience of the print edition this uber lite model on a pay platform will leave you dry and sore. Please include all editorial and features in future editions and leave your market research which gives us sports and business galore behind in App crèche.

Cannot navigate back. The app is appalling. After navigating to a story, it is impossible to get back. UNINSTALL!!!

RECYCLING. If y’all cut the Squeeze Tubes in 1/2 they can be cleaned and Recycled !

Dreadful. Was fine before. They used to have a perfectly good app which is now replaced by a much less user friendly one. It crashes frequently and won’t work offline. I cancelled subscription and hope they can improve it. Only reason for 2 stars is that it’s Irelands paper of record

New update cripples home page. This app used to be a fairly easy to use, simple mobile interface for accessing Irish Times content. With the most recent update, however, the home page is poorly formatted, where images for stories now cover up half of the article title - rendering the app more or less unusable.

Keeps crashing. Cannot even open this as it crashes even before it loads! Needs fixed..... I'm an IT fan but not when I can't access it. My rating is based on accessing it.

Notifications are awful. Good app but recommend turning off notifications as they are ceaseless and have a very low bar for what they consider worthy of a push. Just got a one about phone addiction which strikes me as incredibly ironic as they push many times during the day for seriously low-importance stuff. It’s a pity because I would keep them on for relevant breaking news and a few key opinion pieces, but they really go overboard

Update. Update will not open in my iPhone 5.

Pictures done enlarge. Ok app .. But when you click the pictures on the news stories they don't enlarge

Shoddy. Shoddy. I thought the editorial quality had gone down but the app won't even start fully. I was very excited about the update. Get some professionals in to sort out this mess!

Irishtimes app. Truly a dreadful app. Cheap and nasty. The Times has a great website but this app is baaad!

Better than reading from safari. Decent first app. Smooth and clean feel. Beats having a link to the Irish times website as print too small on the mobile version. Keeps me up to date on Ireland from NYC.

Additional functions needed to make this a 5 star. Provide the ability to search for articles and when scrolling through a story, bookmark it there and then.

Poor Quality. App crashes too often, links from the app to the web to read articles - very poor CX. Please invest.

Don’t download. One of the worst apps I’ve ever DL’d on my iPhone. The developers thought it was a good idea to continually check if you’re logged into iCloud — if you’re not, a dialog box appears and reappears etc requiring you to turn off your phone to be able to get out of the app.

Keeps freezing. Downloaded the new app a few months ago....new app is crap - it keeps freezing.

Ver5.1.1. Logged in to find that I am being asked to submit and save my cookie preferences for every article. I can’t read an article any more without submitting cookie preferences EVERY time! Does anyone in there test updates before releasing them? 🤬

Lacking in Content. This looks and feels good, but I'm a bit surprised at how few articles actually load into the app. For the price, I expected more content.

Nice but more to come. Nice interface but it's clear there is more to come. The NYT app is a good model to follow.

Crashes!. This update just crashes each time you try and load it.

Terrible. The old app worked fine and had more articles. But the updated version is terrible. It freezes and won't go back on the previous article and you can only read about 3 article before it crashes and won't work

Shoddy and unreliable. This app has limited features and fails frequently in its only purpose __ displaying articles. Given that most content is behind a paywall it is baffling why IT would torture its customers in this fashion.

Latest update. Poorly done. Constantly crashes when I open an article. Bug fixes needed.

Good app. Good app, I like to get international news from overseas sources and this one is great, great way to keep up with news from the emerald isle too.

Landscape. Why not?. Landscape. Landscape. Why on EARTH will you not enable landscape on the iPad like EVERY OTHER NEWS app. This is such an important news resource but while I browse I avoid it and go with other Irish news apps that have mastered the landscape technology breakthrough 10 years ago. Very disappointing

This app. HAS landscape mode!. I almost didn't try this app because of the many, many featured comments that complained that it doesn't have landscape mode. It does SO have landscape mode. So maybe do developer responses to those people asking them to update their reviews? UPDATE: I have modified my review from five stars to one star because apparently I am meant to PAY to read articles in landscape mode. That is unacceptable.

One day.... One day we’ll be able to view landscape... One day the developers will actually acknowledge the feedback sent to them... One day this news app won’t annoy the hell out of me...

Great job. Love it. But add the crosswords!

Don't buy just use the Website. Concept is great but the ads on each page make it annoying on an iPhone to the point that the website via the browser is better. I deleted the app within 5 mins of downloading.

New update problems. Text and photos overlap on screen.

Quite a few spelling errors and is expensive. Very expensive unless you’re really interested in getting an Irish tilt on news. The monthly subscription which I paid for, for some time is not comparable to other news apps very expensive. I also can’t understand why the editor is missing the spelling errors and misprints.

Great Newspaper, terrible app. Doesn’t allow you to pivot the screen and spontaneously shuts down when you click on articles...over and over again.
