Daily Productivity Booster. This is my go-to Remote Desktop app and it’s become a critical part of my daily routine over the last several years. The app is well-maintained and very stable. I travel extensively, so Jump has truly allowed me be productive anywhere in the world. I do have one feature request: please make a Today View widget for iPadOS. I would love to be able to launch into a remote computer with one button push on my iPad home screen. Thanks for the great product!

iPad Pro + Magic Keyboard + Jump Desktop. The iPad Pro + Magic Keyboard + Jump Desktop is the holy grail. The iPad can do a lot of things, but sometimes there’s something I can only do well on my MacBook, such as programming. Now I can confidently leave my MacBook connected at home and just take my iPad Pro with me and not feel limited. The Magic Keyboard’s trackpad works like a native mouse! Although iPad swipe gestures take precedence over native swipe gestures, they have on-screen buttons for exposé, desktop switching, etc. One major downside preventing a 5-star rating is connecting to your mac via jump desktop will expose your mac’s screen to anyone who is in the same room as your mac. There is no indicator in-app that your mac’s screen is being exposed to the world. Using the Mac’s user account switcher there is a way to make the Mac go to the lock screen while keeping jump desktop connected via the iPad, but you have to remember to do this every time you connect. When you switch the Mac to the lock screen there is no indicator on the iPad that the Mac’s screen is locked while you’re using the Mac remotely — you just have to know it is.

Great App. This app does exactly what I want need. I was using MS Remote Desktop which I have to say the graphics were much cleaning looking but I kept having the issue with the app losing connection if I switched between iOS apps. I do not have those issues with this app and it is extremely easy to setup. For those two reasons alone it is well worth the money for the app.

Newest update adds everything I wanted with a mouse.. Before version 9.4.16, mouse support was functional, but lacking all mouse functions. I was able to point, click, and right click with long press. Now, everything works in every app. I remote into my windows pc to use 3D printer slicers and right clicking now allows all range of motion as if I was right in front of it. Scroll wheel works, 3 dimension manipulation works, right click works without long press. Finally!

Best RDP client for iOS by far!. I’ve been using Jump for probably close to 10 years. Working in IT, I always have to stay connected wherever I am but it’s not always easy to drag a laptop around with me everywhere I go. With Jump, my iPhone becomes an extension of my desktops and laptops. I’ve been able to connect to a multitude of servers and PCs around the world on some horrific network connections and Jump hasn’t let me down yet!

Finally an RDP app that supports Mac and Windows!!. I bought this app 5plus years ago and it only supported Windows. It’s by far is the fastest app to connect to remotely even better/faster than Microsoft’s built in client. Now I for something to connect my Mac remotely and I ended up circling back to this app. The RDP sessions with Mac is really some and has hardly any lag time. Another thing I noticed was the ability to switch between multiple desktops on my Mac which was awesome because even the Apple Remote Desktop can’t change multiple desktops so I am super excited about that function being incorporated into this app. The developer really didn’t an awesome job by add the Mac to the equation and that feature alone. This is definitely my All-in-One app for remote access to all the Windows and Mac systems.

Back to being useful 😃. I had been using this for probably years when suddenly a problem with the URL launches setting window sizes stopped working and all windows were sized to the iPhone screen resolution. I had reported the problem which took a long time to get fixed but it's finally fixed and I can once again go back to using Jump Desktop as my preferred RDP client. I was so sick of using another client that didn't function the way I wanted but it honored all URL variables and sized appropriately so I reluctantly used it until this was fixed. I'm very happy that Jump Desktop is now fixed! I access hundreds of servers with a separate client that manages credentials but connects via URL launching and changing the means to which I manage those connections and credentials just wasn't an option. Thank you guys for fixing the problem! 👍

Great app - except no file transfer. I’ve been using this app for a couple years now to control my Windows machines from iOS and other Windows machines. Works great for remote control - except the clipboard is very limited. You can copy/paste text between host and remote. But that’s all. No copy/paste of images. And (very frustrating) NO COPY/PASTE OF FILES!!! In fact, there really is no way to do any sort of a file transfer between host and remote machines. Your only options are the same games you’ve always had to play when transferring files between any two machines (e.g. “email to yourself”, “install an FTP server”, “use a thumb drive”, etc, etc) This app brings NOTHING to the table to aid in file transfers. So to sum up - great for remote control. But you’re on your own if you have an image or other file you need to transfer between machines. Too bad. I would have given it 5 stars if it allowed file transfers.

iOS 16 Horrible integrations with the Magic Keyboard. Ever since iOS 16 this app hovers a bunch of alternate character options if the key on the keyboard is held which occurs often if you do any sort of games using this, also the three dots at the top of the screen on top of apples three dots is kind of annoying this should fade off the screen after a few minutes. This app is so close to being perfect, but the latest iOS Update kind of breaks a few things with this app. Please consider this when developing / considering. Thanks so much for a great app!

Great image quality and plenty of settings. Using RDP mode on a local network gives a sharp image with low latency. Using "Windows multi-touch mode" makes my desktop feel like a native AVP app as far as gestures go. Connecting to a remote PC over the internet was easy, but the image quality is lower. Also, the windows multi-touch mode isn't available. Using "Direct touch" mode is 90% of the experience, only the scroll gesture doesn't work. It integrates really well with the a BLE keyboard and the magic trackpad. Everything works as expected here. You can use touches on the trackpad in lieu of pinching, which feels pretty good for desktop work. There are a lot of input modes, so you can pick what you prefer. Also you can change the resolution without having to reconnect, which isn't always the case with remote access software. It also has an option to spawn multiple windows for connections to multiple computers. Unfortunately my keyboard seems to jump randomly between windows no matter what I do. Hopefully this can be fixed.

This one deserves the 1st place among the RDP apps.. I fell in love with this app right after using it less than ten minutes. I found every issues that I had when I was using RD Client that drove me crazy have been solved. People say RD Client became great especially after having its recent major update (version 10). And it seems they consider it solid just because MS made it. But, for me, great is not enough and MS is not almighty. In my case, the alphabet and number keys were not be able to put to the X11 apps in WSL2. Also, Ctrl + Space combination which performs the language switch in iPadOS was also hooked even in the RDP sessions, which made me depressed since that key combination was meant to do a crucial role in my dev app.

Please please please add sound!. This is one of the coolest apps I’ve seen in a looooong time! However the fact that I can’t stream any sound from my Mac makes it very limited. With the mouse support coming in iOS 13 and with sound added, this is is definitely the best setup where I can just use my iPhone or iPad as a remote computer. The latency was very good! I was shocked at how well it worked with minimal lag. I could honestly barely see any lag between the real computer when I moved my mouse and when the app screen mouse moved. The only negative is the lack of sound that it doesn’t support yet. Please add this and you have yourself a winner! Also, I am not sure if there is a way to lock my computer when I am out and about so I can log into the app but not have my activity being viewed on my computer screen when I am gone. I didn’t know if this is possible.

Great app!. Now I CAN leave my laptop behind! There is no hyperbole in this comment. I set up a VPN on my home network and complement it with Jump. I have installed it on my iPhone, iPad, Mac Mini, and MacBook Pro. I use it to connect to my desktop (Mac Mini) when I am away from home. I also use it from anywhere when I connect to my Ubuntu file, and network servers, and any one of my Ubuntu Virtual Box VMs. It is a proven winner for me using RDP, and VNC protocols. Since I have access to my home desktop, I can do my remote software development work without having to be stuck at home. The only downside is that I occasionally lose connections. This may be due to weak WiFi or when my OS goes to sleep, I don’t know. But it is super easy to re-establish the connection manually. I think I spent $10 in the App Store and is totally worth it. I compared with several RDP apps which are either free or for a fee (including the remote desktop from the software giant) before I committed to Jump. Jump is definitely the better value on all platforms.

Easy win. I use this app to connect to a Pc running XP. Compared to the Microsoft app this is way better. Hardly any lag for me any on slow WiFi. The amount of options to interact with the remote computer from a touch screen is incredible. Plus slide over and split screen both work perfectly. I couldn’t be happier, well worth the price. The functionality of this app is perfect for me. The only things i would like to see are totally cosmetic and both are only on the screen where to select what pc to connect to. 1) I’d like the ability to nickname computers. For example name a computer work or personal 2) The ability to use a jpeg image or picture as the icon for the remote computer. For example using my company logo to identify my work computer. These are nitpicks for sure and dont take away the fact that this app is amazing.

Can’t even get it started. I wanted to use it to access my father's computer who needed onscreen help. But I couldn't even start it up because from the moment I bought it I had to log in with the password of the remote computer. The problem is that my dad doesn't like locking his computer with a password under any circumstances. This app doesn't seem to assume that there are computers in the world without a login password. If I press Enter on the app's login screen, as he does on his computer, then it endlessly asks for a password and never let me in. This needs to be updated immediately!!

Promised features nonexistent & locks features behind subscription. I tried this app due to it being recommended online. They also say that you can connect with full retina resolution. Not the case. You can only utilize retina from iPad>Mac by using a VNC connection, which performs horribly, and you can do this for free anyway without Jump. Fluid connections do not support Retina. They hide this well on their website, but promised years ago that they were working on it. What they have actually accomplished is locking more features (like manual Fluid connections) behind a subscription! Yay! More subscriptions for an app you’ve already paid for in the first place! The reason I bought Jump to begin with was that they didn’t have a subscription model, but it seems every developer nowadays wants a piece of the pie. BTW, Anydesk (free) does retina resolutions for Mac currently. Microsoft’s free Remote Desktop accomplishes this for Windows. I asked Jump about getting retina resolutions on Fluid, and they did not respond. And now they want more money for manual cloudless Fluid connections. Nah, man.

Best Remote Desktop App!!!. This app has been a very valuable tool for my work as a Clinical Application Analyst and I have completely depend on this to remote in to my desktop at work when I am on call and do not have to log in to our server and use VPN for this. I used to always have to bring my work laptop at home when I am on call. Now I leave it at work and use my iPad instead. One time I was called during my nephew's birthday party which was in our city zoo! All I have is my IPhone and all I need is quick access to an app in my desktop and I was able to use my freaking phone to do what I needed to do. That is so awesome! I love you Jump desktop! I even used jump desktop during a presentation because I used my iPad. My CQO saw me using my iPad and ask how she can do that as well as so she can use her iPad Pro. I told her about Jump desktop and now she's using this too and loving it!!! You rock Jump desktop! Do you work overseas?

Full keyboard and mouse support with iPad Pro & better than Microsoft’s RD Client!. I paid for this hoping it would provide full keyboard and mouse support (when they are connected to your iPad of course) in a remote session and it absolutely delivers! It’s also very fast, fills the iPad Pro screen, and allowed me to import .RDP files for a fast setup. Yes, this is better than the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client, if for no reason than the keyboard/mouse support. In the Microsoft RD Client, the keyboard is gimped and the mouse doesn’t behave exactly the way you want it to. This was worth every penny!

Jump Desktop is Amazing. Jump Desktop has been the most effective solution I've found for streaming my desktop PC to my iPad Pro. It should be noted that it is not intended, nor very effective, for game streaming and that anyone looking to stream games to their device should look into Moonlight, Parsec, or any other number of solutions intended for that purpose. That said, general desktop computing is wonderfully smooth and many features are well implemented. Using my Apple Pencil for image editing inside of GIMP was a breeze, as well as working on my coding projects. I've tried other apps, such as Screens, and they just don't compare.

The best. I never write reviews but this app is so amazing it deserves one. I use it on iPad Pro to connect via RDP to Windows servers. Much better than windows RDP app because modifier keys work! Also works with Linux and Mac, but RDP protocol is absolutely stunning! I programmed keyboard macros using autohotkey to get a nice Apple Pencil workflow. One feature I’d like to request is an option to hide the shortcut bar obstructing the start menu bar when displaying the floating keyboard on ipad. Good stuff.

Super duper!!!. I don’t write reviews much but this one is worth writing for! Used to have iTeleport and since that app is no longer supported I’m looking for an alternative. Jump is amazing. The control and shift keys work as they should when using my iPad keyboard- iTeleport did not. Mouse control options are great! Securing with FaceID gives me peace of mind if my device is stolen. I can easily import and export for free using my iCloud account. Love this app!

Connects Desktop to Mac Perfectly!. By far the best version of this kind of app I have ever used. I have a MacBook Air and a desktop I use for work things. Jump connects the MacBook seamlessly to the desktop and re-sizes. If you are old school like me and use the keyboard for excel, you will love this interface. On your Mac keyboard, just hit fn with the function keys at the top and/or hit the alt/option key when you need alt. It even works great on your iPhone!

The app that gives the user what Apple won’t!. This is the app justify the claim of iPad for business! Not only does it provide the true 3-button mouse function for all PC users, but also the true experience of remote desktop with full external screen instead of content mirroring with 2 black bars. Forgot to mention one more great feature, which you can multitask Jump Desktop with any app on your iPad with FULL screen of your PC on the external monitor!

Best one out there. I’ve used almost every remote desktop tool for iOS out there and this one is the best, no contest. Multiple ways to connect to hosts, plenty of control customization, not enough latency to matter, audio streaming to the connected device, resizes resolution to match connected device (my favorite feature), saves multiple connections, easy setup, automatic reconnect when multitasking, gesture navigation, and best of all you can get it all for a ONE TIME FEE and as of the time of writing this review that fee is cut in half. Get it while you can, but even if you don’t spring on the half off, it’s still worth the full price and I would pay it again in a heartbeat.

Been using JumpDesktop for 2 year. I’ve been using this app for two years and I absolutely love it. I use normally from my iPad Pro (LTE) to get into my work laptop which I typically leave at home. I also use it to get into my windows gaming PC. Both work fantastic. Everything is smooth and it does not need much bandwidth. Sound also works! I’d def recommend it. I’d consider myself a JD power user. Cheers

The best Remote Desktop Software ever used. It’s better than be in the front of the computer. Has better controls than windows desktop. The zoom is amazing and the option to use Apple Pencil ad better accuracy to the selection of items. At this time I not use a mouse yet but I have plans to buy it. I prefer to wait until iOS 13 to buy a more cost effective mouse option.

Look no further.... This is the BEST app to access your Mac from an iOS device. I’ve tried many apps, and this is the best one. Very easy to set up, and a stable connection. The last app I tried was Screens, and this is much better. For one, you can hear your remote computer’s audio in your iPad (which you can’t do on Screens), and Jump has a full screen, unlike Screens, where to take advantage of your iPad screen, you have to enter into Zoom mode, which can be cumbersome to move apps around afterward. In conclusion, this is the one to buy if you’re looking to access your computer remotely. Period.

Better than Screens. I am using this app to connect to a Raspberry Pi 4 running the Astroberry distribution of Raspbian Buster via the Pi’s built in WiFi hotspot. It works great. I was using VNC viewer first but found its control scheme wanting, so I tried Screens but Screens suffered from terrible visual lag (it took multiple seconds to refresh the screen at times, which I found utterly bizarre). I really wanted keyboard and mouse control so I tried Jump and I’m happy to say that Jump has none of those problems and let’s me use a physical keyboard and mouse, which is awesome.

Ipad to Windows made possible by Jump Desktop.. This is the best 😭😭😭😭. I now have access to my desktop pc through my ipad. This is a game changer because I have a very heavy gaming laptop that I cant bring around. My ipad has become a 2in1 device in a way because of this app. You’ll definitely need a mouse to maximize the jump desktop if you’re connecting to a windows pc though :)

Keyboard scan codes. Sends keyboard scan codes instead of unicode over RDP, which means you can interact with VMs running on your remote host and other applications that expect scan codes. Not even Microsoft’s Remote Desktop client for iPad supports scan codes even though this has been reported as an issue for years (but the desktop client does, go figure). Combined with the iPad mouse support, we finally have a completely functional RDP solution, and the iPad can function as a fully featured thin client. The VNC support is a nice bonus, and works well with MacOS hosts. My only complaint is that the app needs some polish, but it works

MY SAVING GRACE. I have sat on my office floor crying the past two nights because I could not for the life of me figure out how to Remote Desktop from my work PC to my home computer until someone told me about this app and now I am CRYING TEARS OF JOY. It was too easy I was almost skeptical at first because of how difficult windows is but I wish I would have known about this app a long time ago it would have saved me so much frustration and tears! THANK YOU JUMP!!!!!!!

Jump Desktop saved my life as a college student. I use Jump Desktop all the time now that I’m living at my university, and it has proven to be invaluable to my situation. I bought an iPad because I fell in love with the Apple Pencil and could not go back to the Windows tablet world, as I never found them to be something I could just pick up and start drawing. However... as a CS major, I needed access to tools that are just not accessible on the iOS platform, and Jump Desktop has absolutely bridged that gap for me! Remote computing with Jump Desktop feels very close to natively running Windows on my iPad (especially with a bluetooth mouse), and with the addition of audio streaming, I have found it to be the absolute best remote desktop application, and a total lifesaver! Can’t send enough of my appreciation, thank you so much!

This is the one you’re looking for. After getting my iPad I was disheartened to learn that sidecar wasn’t as fully featured as I hoped. While the picture was fantastic, it didn’t support an external mouse or the trackpad on the magic keyboard. So I started searching for remote desktop applications that would fit the bill of allowing me to access my desktop across the house with minimal effort. To my horror, I realized that almost none of them provided an easy way to resize my screen to fit the iPad resolution, further, when connected to an external monitor, they maintained the iPad 4:3 aspect ratio, which made for an unpleasant experience. Much to my surprise, this app not only automatically resizes the screen to the iPad resolution (when using their protocol and app), but it ALSO changes the video out resolution to fit whatever monitor you hook it up to. Absolutely incredible work! Well worth the money.

Jump. As a software engineer I am always sensitive to the quality of software that I use that has been written by others. Jump impresses me as being one of the best-designed and best-functioning software products that I have begun using in many years. The design of its ability to create on my local device an interface to my desktop on a remote host is well thought out and excellently rendered. I have used it several times a week for many years to extend my connect time with my software development projects on remote hosts no matter where I am, be it in a restaurant, a customer waiting room, or anywhere, and it has always worked flawlessly. An easy five stars.

Great. Period.. I am not sure if there is an app similar to or better than this one, but it is a really good one. It works fine for logging onto my MacBook from iPad even with slower wifi connections in e.g. coffee shops and malls. No disconnections or any other issues encountered. Hope they keep the good work and also continue to support the free app. Update June 2022: I have now purchased their Mac remote access app, and it works flawlessly accessing both Macs and PCs.

OMG!!!. As a retired software development manager, I find Apple apps are typically semi-vaporware that are NOT even worth free. I’ve been burned many times by apps written by amateurs who have either no Quality Control or piss-poor QA. So when I looked at the cost of Jump Desktop and all its extraordinary features and the cost, I thought, I’m going to get burned big-time, but I will give it a try anyway because it’s exactly what I need — IF it worked! Well Surprise, Surprise! I bought an excellent, well-written and designed app for pennies. The app is well worth more than $15!

Full mouse and trackpad support puts Jump over the top!. I can honestly say that I have tried just about every Remote Desktop app out there. Each has their strengths and weaknesses. Without a doubt, Jump desktop ticks all of the boxers for me and now with the recent addition of trackpad and mouse support, it takes it to another level. Throw in the stellar tech support and you have a five star app which will save you many hours and increase your productivity...

Two things I don’t like. Downloaded this yesterday and would have given it five stars right off the bat except for two issues the first I can live with the second sort of makes the product useless. 1) It changed the size of my screen display on my computer monitor. I guess is so that this would fit the format of my iPad Pro. I can live with this. 2) today i tried to log in and since my computer was in sleep mode it could not access it. So if I want to save energy and not run my computer all the time and have it set for sleep mode this is not going to work. So is the work around to leave you computer running 24/7?

Surprisingly Robust App!. So, I ran out the office one day and I forgot to file a document electronically. When I got home, I didn’t feel like going back to the office, so I downloaded this app. To be honest, I thought I was getting fleeced for almost $15. However, the intuitive interface, comprehensive keyboard functions and instructional video made my task almost as easy as if I was at the office (but saved me a drive back to the office). I did what I needed to do reclined on my couch in comfy slippers. The app is worth every penny.

Best Remote Desktop. I've tried both Jump Desktop and Logmein. Jump Desktop provides a much more intuitive interface that makes JD easy to use. JD is very reliable and stable and works without a hitch. It is one of the key apps that extends the functionality of my iPad into the desktop world. Love it. Highly recommend it. 5 years on, still a go to app for me and the best remote desktop. Beats Microsoft Parallels too and without the monthly cost.

One of my most recommended apps. When I think of teams that have put in the work you guys are one of the first ones that come up. I jumped all in with iOS and i am a IT manager by trade. Your app is the best remote application out there period. I am blown away by all the updates you guys do and how well you think out things. Your implementation of how a mouse works is still nicer the iOS 13 implementation. I will continue to be a fanboy and shout from the roof tops loving that fluid now supports audio well done again team well done.

A great app, works perfectly; but with a mouse. The quality of streaming is very clear but it’s hard to use well without a proper mouse. These mice are from $60- $180. It’s not entirely “Jumps” fault though. Apple doesn’t allow all mice configurations to connect via Bluetooth. Another problem is audio. I still can’t figure out how to change the audio output. It wont play from my iPad, but from it will from the computer I’m streaming from. The help forum didn’t specify how I change this either.

Literally The Best Remote Desktop/Connection Out There By FAR. Been using Jump now for a few years and ever since the very first day I’ve loved it and never regretted purchasing for my iPhone. I’ve tried so many other different apps and software and jump is literally endless miles ahead of so very many others. I even use it when I want to connect with my shadow cloud desktop from my iPhone instead of using the shadow application alone simply being that it lacks a plethora of user friendly features and versatility that jump does, like flawless two finger zooming and scrolling, mouse pointer and touch location and accuracy and so many more. Cannot recommended Jump Desktop any higher, they have by far exceeded my expectations for years now and continue to do so flawlessly. Cheers!

Braille Displays. Hello, I was wondering if you guys could take a look at the commands in voiceover where braille displays are concerned and try to support those. Also if focus is in the compose field could we please get the app to stay there after pressing enter? When using a usb keyboard it works fine but control tab don't work with my keyboard. So I tried using my braille display to type in a program I use all of the time remotely and I have to move the cursor everytime I hit enter then hit enter again.

Hooray for remote keyboard shortcuts!. I took a chance on this because the official MS Remote Desktop client doesn't support keyboard shortcuts (at least not with my Gen 1 iPad Pro 9.7" smart keyboard) on the remote PC. To copy, I'd have to tap an on-screen "control" key, then the "C" key on the physical keyboard. Drove me nuts, and made it harder to get work done on my iPad. Jump Desktop to the rescue! Looking forward to trying out VNC support for my Mac and considering buying one of the supported mice, but seriously just being able to fully use a keyboard on the remote machine again was worth the price. Thanks!

Yes! It’s works.. After using several other remote apps with less than impressive results. I decided to spend some good money on this app. Can’t say enough good about it so far. I was immediately pleased with ease of set up and connecting to my work computer. I connect to my Lenovo work computer using either my MAC, IPad Pro or my IPhone. All work smoothly and the resolution is so much better. I can actually see the remote screen clearly. It’s also fast connecting and stays connected with very little latency. I use this often so it’s well worth the money. Go for it!

Must have for any IT pro. I like to go places and work remotely on my servers at home. With Microsoft’s Remote Desktop client support for the Smart Keyboard was pretty dismal and limited what i could do. Right as i was considering breaking down and buying a laptop that I wouldn’t have much of a use for i found this amazing app. I can now seamlessly work with Remote Desktop as if i was on a laptop. I can now remotely control my kvm setup that required xming and an ssh client to tunnel virt-manager and work on my servers that way. Working with this app feels like it may take some getting used to compared to Microsoft’s version but it gets the job done better overall

Fantastic for years and years. I’ve used Jump for what feels like a decade now, since the very early years. It’s always been great - and they really thought of everything, like the integration with the iPad Magic Keyboard. The trackpad on the magic keyboard works just like you are at your remote computer. This blew my mind! It’s even easier to use than before. Thanks to the team.

Incredible. I had given up on anything you can buy and not pay subscription monthly. I ended up getting this for 50% off which was a steal. I haven’t been using it long but so far it works great! It's fast, fluid is a great description because it is just that. I have not even used all of the features, there are many. It works on all platforms and across platforms. I ❤️ this app! It’s not often you come across a perfect app, this one is perfect. The devs already pushed out an update and I’ve not owned it a week. Great job Devs! I’ll be keeping my eyes open for any other apps you might release. This is the best app of its kind, truly it is. I haven’t even used it with my Magic Mouse or iPad yet! Oh and did I mention it does sound as well! But it, it’s work 3 times they priced it at, much more than what I paid.

Perfect. Fantastic app. I’ve used a few different remote control apps and this one is the best. Easy to set up, easy to use and with a great user interface. I have 2 office computers - an older XP machine as an email server and a Windows 10 machine for everything else. I connect via my iPad Pro and connections are fast and secure. I had one little question after installing and customer support responded in minutes! Outstanding. Thanks for a great app!

This is the best remote desktop app. This is the best remote desktop app I have used others make you pay subscription fees but this is just $15 for the app and you can use your Mac or pc anywhere in the world over 3G of wifi.

The only RDP app that does it all. I have been looking for an app which supports keyboard and mouse devices on iPad os 13.4 but works over RDP rather than VNC like the others. This is perfect! It supports 32bit colour too so I can use it for editing photos from my iPad!! The interface is easy to use and doesn’t get in the way at all!! Battery consumption is also really great. Use it for a couple of hours on my 2019 iPad Pro and the battery went down just 20%!! Great work to the devs of this app! Keep it up!

Easy remote desktop. I tried the other RDP (remote desktop protocol) clients and none match the ease of use and logical design found in Jump Desktop. I remote into my home network via SilverShield SSH to control my Win7Pro box. Fast and secure!

The best remote desktop app. This is the best remote desktop I have ever used for my iPad. I can connect to my Mac, XP, and Vista PC's with ease. Setup was simple and it just works. I need access to various servers whilst I am on the road, and to be able to do that via my iPad is fantastic.

Best in class!. This is without a doubt the best of the Remote Desktop APPs. From supporting the various OS’s ‘built in’ methods of remote connection to the included ‘Fluid Remote Desktop’ this app has you covered. The interface (and options) are second to none, performance is equal to the best of the alternatives. The automatic connection via Jump Desktop Connect is great, no need for VPN or custom gateway configuration. Keep up the good work! Two feature requests: 1) Add support for Apple Magic Trackpad (in addition to Swiftpoint & Citrix X1). 2) Add the ability to make multiple concurrent remote connections. A single connection is a real limitation in the iOS version compared to the macOS version.

Excellent. Works very well. I use it all the time for business access. On WiFi it is like having Windows on your iPad - a little slower on 3G but still very useable. Running MYOB remotely on my desktop PC through Jump (on 3G) is faster and easier than their online version - beats paying their high monthly sub. (I tried it side by side with my brother accessing MYOB online - left him behind easily) We also use the desktop versions in the office for consistency - all works smoothly.

Simply Fantastic. Since finding this app we are now recommending this to all of our clients for RDP. Love the lock screen feature and the removal of the mouse pointer. Looking forward to seeing what else the developers have in store for and we are also going to make an enquiry with them about developing an RDP app for our software.

Excellent. I like it. Very easy to use. Correct that. Since the latest update, I have lost all my remote desktops. I cannot use this new version at all. Not Happy 😫😫

The only remote desktop client I actually trust. Pro tip: Even though Fluid is much faster, I’ve found myself reverting to VNC (which Jump supports), as retina resolution is a must for me given that I spend most of my time in an IDE and terminal looking at text.

Better alternatives. Very poor quality product compared to other options such as Splashtop. Also very poor customer service when the problem becomes too difficult to resolve they just start ignoring you

Great away from office. Perfect for when you on the move, not convenient for full time use due to screen size, but brilliant when you don't have direct access to your PC and need to do something

Seriously? The new icon?. I’m embarrassed to have it on my homescreen.

AWSOME. I use this app primarily in my home to remote access my pc while my family are using the tv, and it's perfect! Easy to log in and set up and even easier to add addition computers to your access list. Works great with iPad, controls work well. Slight lag when videos are running on the screen but otherwise fine. Great app.

Just works so well.. Consistently works well. Even on poor connections. Very fast to connect. Desktop connector apps for mac and pc are amazing. So so impressed.

Great but sometimes laggy. Not gonna lie, I had issues with it in terms of rendering and videos where there is a slight delay but hoping this gets fixed in the future. Overall 9/10

recommend. excellent & easy to use

Awesome app, life is so much easier with it.. I'm an On-Site tech for multiple businesses and have been in the industry 10 years, I have tried multiple RDP apps and none compared to JUMP. I use it daily to have quick functional access to all my sites. It's a lot quicker on iPad 2/3 than 1. I now have multiple clients and other techs using it too. Everyone who has used it agrees with me that it's the most functional RDP app we've come across. I cannot recommend it highly enough, if your questioning is it worth it? In my honest opinion, 100% yes. The ability to manage everything from your iPad when you are out and about will save you time, money and from having to carry around your laptop. I now leave my laptop in the car and only use it when I need to recover data or test equipment. Have been using it for over a year, sorry for late review. Dan.

Excellent. Excellent app that I use on multiple computers. The macOS and iOS clients are beautiful and it’s updated regularly. I do wish to see some improvement to the windows app as it is very basic, how ever it is currently free so I can’t complain.

Great Ap. This would have to be the only ap I have ever kept, best ap ever.

The best remote application I have used.. The best, it just works. I've tested as many apps I as I could and Jump stood far above the others with ease of use and it's operation. Best interface and the most easiest to use. Other apps can be a pain to use, Jump has a great UI that doesn't frustrate me. Highly recommended.

Love it. Hands down best remote app there is. Don’t bother with any of the other ones, get this!

Mouse/Trackpad usage update is amazing. This update to include native mouse and trackpad usage is fantastic. RDP/VNC via Jump is now first class on an iPad.

Works very well. I use this regularly to not only connect to my home network while at work but also from home while in front of the tv. Easy, simple and responsive. You can zoom in quickly when there are some tiny details you need to work with.

Great app. I tried docs to go but my files were too big, I stumbled on this and it's awesome. I can access multiple. My work laptop during the day so I don't have to carry my laptop in and out of meetings. My home office PC. Even my mum's PC so I can troubleshoot for her remotely. Great App.

Best in Class - Cannot fault it.. I purchased Jump Desktop years ago (before fluid desktop was a thing), and have never been disappointed with the performance or features of this app. The developers have added many features over the years that have increased productivity, and they have listened to their users. The initial cost may seem expensive, but it is well worth the value if you regularly need to access remote systems. Works well on iPad and iPhone.

Choice: High FPS or High Refresh Rate. Love the design / UI but its a shame ‘fluid’ mode is such low resolution. Changing over to VNC is much clearer however the low refresh rate just kills the experience. I wish there was an option out there for high res and at least 30fps.

Amazing application. Very happy with this. Best and most reliable Remote Desktop of all, and I’ve tried them all.

Jump to it!. From the intuitive, precise mouse controls, to the beautifully designed keyboard with a full PC keyboard implementation, this is a wonderful RDP/VNC client. Featuring a super fast and stable RDP implementation with NLA implemented along with an SSH tunnelling capability for the tin-foil-hat wearers amongst us (yep, I have mine on now), you can't go wrong with this product. Jump Desktop manages to run well over even a poor 3G connection, succeeding where others that I've tried cannot, and is memory efficient enough for me to be running a massive 3840x1080 virtual screen... I've used this on iPhone and IPad with equal success (that mouse control on a small screen is paramount to its success). Regular updates over the years I've owned Jump Desktop have seen it continue from strength to strength - you can't go wrong with this client. Highly recommended!

Love it!. Particularly like the ability to access things like flash, complex excel spreadsheets etc that can't be viewed on iPad via my iMac desktop from anywhere. This has saved allot of time by not needing to re-engineer spreadsheets or find work arounds to remain productive. Already used tech support who were responsive and most helpful. Most importantly the app does everything it claims, I've found it well worth the spend.

Well worth the money. This is quite literally better than any desktop VNC client I’ve used. While other clients will absolutely struggle to get a usable frame rate from macOS, Jump Desktop handles it like a champ. You won’t even need to install a third party remote desktop server (unless of course you want useful extra features). Seriously great.

Not quite there. Good app, interface is well designed and supports both RDP and VNC. However, missing wake on LAN, would be great if this feature is added.

Amazing RDP app. Absolutely amazing RDP application for iOS. Works flawlessly, and is the only RDP app to fully support hardware keyboards and mice.

App performance incredibly reliant on network speed. It should be a given that the performance would match the network environment of the computer you are trying to connect to, however, despite promising reviews elsewhere, the performance of this software matches that of free tools like AnyDesk, i had expected similar performance of software such as parsec or Rainway but it is just not there, 4 stars cause Apple Pencil and mouse support are well done

The best hands down. I have been an iOS user for around 6 years and this is the first review I have felt the need to post. This is hands down the most useful and productive app I have ever had and by far the best RDP VNC application I have used on any platform. I have been using this app for work purposes in an engineering environment in both iPad and iPhone. Must buy

Well thought out and usable interface. Have been using Microsoft’s own RDP app for awhile and thought it was good. But Jump is much better. There has been more thought out into how to control while on the iPad. Love the little circle under the cursor (you can also use a more traditional no cursor approach - there’s heaps to choose from) for added middle and right click ability. Having all the other MS keys on the keyboard is awesome as well! On top of that it has its own connection software for those who don’t have win10 pro - again a lot of options available on to connect, invites, logging in or sending a pin - awesome. The power does come at the cost of a little overwhelming interface - however for those who use remote connect often shouldn’t find much trouble- oh the one off fee is great too!

Mouse pointer locking. I can’t get mouse pointer locking to work on iOS 15 since there is no option and for this reason I’m finding many games unplayable

Good. But the windows app can not start on automaticallywhen you turn on the computer, you have to do it manually. I hope this app could turn on my computer remotely as well:)

Brilliant. I installed this half an hour ago, have already setup 4 RDP sessions to Windows servers that I support and it is brilliant! That's $4 per server and getting cheaper by the minute. I love the mouse control and have even turned off the circle because the precision is excellent. I have been using WinAdmin for a couple of years but decided to look around because their support was lacking and I had a few issues with mouse movement in RDP and black holes not refreshing when controls closed.

High Distinction. It the best in the market. From set up to usability, it has no competitor. I was skeptical with all the five stars rating. But having take the risk to buy it, I now know that all the rating is true. Excellent application, Keep up the good work. Sol

Effective and straightforward to use. After trying several RDP clients, I have settled on Jump for its effectiveness and ease of use. It's the best I have found thus far, but not without quirks. Some of the gestures (e.g. double finger swipe to scroll in the opposite direction on the host) are anything but intuitive, and I wish more thought was given to this. That said, it gets the job done pretty well.

Love the pen input option. Only RDP program that intuitively works the way you think it should... Three options for input... But the best is "pen" which is similar to trackpad in mac osx - where press and hold works as right click, and hold and swipe to select and double tap to left click

Superb. Brilliant Remote Desktop app. I spent several weeks reading about and trying different apps before finally deciding on this one and purchasing. That was now about two years ago and this is still serving me solidly! Feature wise it ticked all the boxes for me with rdp and vnc. I'd love to see ssh terminal added for my Linux server at home but I realise this isn't completely related to what this app does. No worries. Great app. Great experience. Keeps improving.

Jump. Aside from the mouse which still needs a bit of work, Jump is quite good. It is fast and reliable. The mouse is still a little problematic, but given the limitations of not having the option to attach a mouse to the ipad, the method used is the best that can be done.

a very useful programme. particularly if you are doing remote work & wish to access data from your server. Needs some getting used to, but works well most of the times.

Excellent. This product has proven to be a sensational addition to our professional consulting team whereby they are enabled to connect to our server environment via tablet devices from wherever in the world they might be. It is wonderfully simple to use and delivers us great workplace flexibility.

Always There. The Jump App is always available easy to use and powerful.

Mouse for this app on ios is too small for my users. The hardware needed to use this app is too small. Waste of money as is! Open it up to work for all mouse options on the market or supply a normal sized mouse.

Very useful, supports latest RDP. I am very happy with "jump", it has surpassed my expectation. I have found it even made remoting from my iphone pretty usable. The little mouse thingy is really great and is an excellent substitute for a mouse (provided you are just doing minor tasks). I don't use any other remote desktop app on my ipad or iphone after getting jump.

Surprised how smooth it works. Have been using another app (RDP by Hana mobile) for years and was fine but this is so much smoother and the interface is intuitive. I should have bought this before but the price held me back. Don't often write reviews but wanted to for this. I have only used the RDP part of this app at the moment though. It has become my new default app for work RDP.

Great application, has never failed me.. This is the ideal app to use when you need to remote control both Mac and windows computers over the network. I use both protocols over both local LANs and VPN connections and have found it to be very stable. It works great with multitasking as well, keeping the session open while you check other apps, when you return to Jump, you return to the same place you left. Love your work, keep it up.

only remote access app you'll need. Great app for connecting to laptop or desktop computers remotely from iOS, effectively enabling touch gestures on non-touch devices. Bonus is the desktop viewer app that can use RDP or VNC to connect to other devices running Jump Desktop Connect.

Total Crap. This is nothing comparing with other similar software ! Waste of money . Very low FPS and big lag. The so called "fluid" is a bit faster, but I cannot see the main PC mouse pointer . why ? Wow , no sound thru the mobile device ? Are you making a joke at $20 or a scam ? I don't mention other similar better software because I don't make free advertisement or to look like I work for other but this a total waste of money

Wow. Just what I was looking for.. Recently made the switch to a 12.9 2018 iPad Pro. Found this tool, paired it with a SwiftPoint GT and now have the best of both worlds. The tool works seamlessly and has been absolutely bullet proof. I can connect to my main Mac Mini and the Virtual Machine (Win 10) I run in parallels. I think my MacBook will now be relegated to my musical endeavours. Highly recommended. The price is spot on. Well done.

Pretty good. Does what it claims. Obviously there is a little bit of lag but that’s normal for rdp. Hope they keep improving it :)

Top notch product. Love it. The measure of really great remote software is that it does what you want it to, when you need it to. I remember in the past having remote software fail for all kinds of reasons (yes, often user error, but not always) but Jump has always been there. Have used it for as long as I can remember and the developers are continually improving it.

Excellent! Highly recommended!. I've used this app for a while now and would very highly recommend it for remote desktop access. Works great with Windows Remote Desktop, and their automatic VNC install works amazing for systems where you don't have RDP. 5 stars for sure!

Fantastic. Fantastic... use it for work all the time. Priceless to me.

Great!. Has everything i need, works great! Love it

Pure Gold!. For me this is easily the most valuable app in the entire store. Rock solid.

Great RDP!. I use this RDP app everyday it was well worth the initial price. It's reliable, has great options for resolutions! I love connecting with high res 2400 x 1600 for my iPad Retina. I also have the Microsoft RDP which is okay, but I can't adjust resolution in it, so I still use JUMP. 5 stars for quality and functionality.

App is good when it works. But the support i found is not good. I’ve asked a few questions to which none have received a satisfactory answer. For starters i log into to my mac and it keeps sending me back to the sign in screen. Not a single answer to address

Resolution is blurry on iPad Pro 12.9. I have an iPad Pro 2018 12.9. I remote control a 15-inch Late-2013 MacBook Pro Retina. On this Mac, I have two Dell 1080P monitors connected and the native MacBook Pro display. I can’t figure out how to have a clear display when remote controlling the MacBook Pro. Everything is blurry and barely viewable. Scaling is not properly done at default settings and I can’t figure out a good configuration to have a sharp, clear image of the remote computer. The computer is even not accessible after reboot even if configured properly.I opened a ticket and I’m waiting for support, but as of now, I’m really frustrated about this app.

Devs clearly don’t test own app.. There is a bug when using fluid on iPad Pro 11 at native resolution where moving the cursor halfway down the screen causes the entire screen to jitter resulting in an completely unusable, headache inducing nightmare, I know a review is not a bug report form but honestly there is just no way that they actually test the app because this bug has been there for almost a year.

The best of the best apps!!!!!!. This is the best app I've ever purchased yet. I'ts worth every penny and it's not expensive at all for what it does. It works perfectly and very fast respond with Windows Vista Ultimate. No IP address needed. Thanks!!! for producing an excellent and very useful app. Keep-up the good work!!!

Excellent. Excellent. Does what it says. Worth every penny.

Misleading claims, Basically useless for art use.. I bought this because it was supposed to work well, have pressure sensitivity support, and be subscription-free. It has absolutely failed the first two, and from statements made in the forums will fail on point three if you want pressure sensitivity. -the claimed ability to easily move files from iPad to desktop seems to be a complete fabrication. Drag and drop didn’t work, nor did copy and pasting. - the “full” support for the Apple Pencil claimed does not include pressure sensitivity or tilt sensitivity. More below. -support is a joke. Trying to get useful information out of the website, help files, or by reaching out to staff is nearly impossible. The few nuggets of useful information are scattered in tiny bits and random places, if even accurate. The troubleshooting guides are hilariously brief and not particularly helpful. Expect customer and tech support to ghost you if they even bother to reply in the first place. Both through their support forum, and via email. The support forum is full of questions no one even bothered replying to. I found more questions without replies than with. -and the slam dunk, that ensured this was a waste of money for art use: the iPad pencil sensitivity is not actually supported, despite claims that it is fully supported. According to comments by jump staff on the forums, It’s currently in beta, for Mac only, and once out of beta will require subscription to the *enterprise* plan. The highest business subscription plan they have. Because every artist has hundreds of dollars to burn every year-after all, we’re notoriously wealthy people, with massive support teams to organize (sarcasm, in case that’s unclear). I can’t even think how pressure sensitivity could benefit *most* businesses to the point of it being a selling feature. Slightly more natural writing feel? It’s still on the iPad surface so people will write like trash until they get used to it, regardless. In addition, Jump has some really weird UI choices and bugs that significantly increase friction. -for some absurd reason they set up the scrolling/swiping backwards, so if you’re switching between the rest of the iPad and jump so does the direction you have to scroll, it is maddening. -The swipe feature doesn’t even work consistently- for example the *windows program bar* will not swipe, so you have to use the search option, which is normally fine, but awkward and slow, and useless if you don’t remember the name of the program you’re looking for. -Long clicking to right click will *also* left click when you lift, makes using tabs in a browser annoying at best, and constantly loosing your spot/wiping out your wring at worst. And you won’t want to switch back to the main iPad to do away with the issue because of the direction change. (Plus, I’m sure that’ll be a hassle elsewhere too) -speaking of the gesture/click profile: why not just let people customize what gestures link up to which actions? Instead there are a ridiculous number of profiles that are all just slightly different. (And none use the two/three finger tap for undo/redo that’s so common :( Custom mapping is definitely not a novel concept-Wacom has been doing that for decades, keyboards for at least half that time (I never really paid much attention to that before then), and it’s pretty common in iOS programs that aren’t solo person programs, and even a few of those even have it! Without it jump has resorted to making a long list of profiles for gestures & pencil, and it’s just unnecessary and clunky. -if you are in split screen mode on the iPad and the program on the Pc is in full screen mode (or just at the top of your screen) the top menu bar becomes unclickable (the one that has file, edit, etc) The bottom of the side panels were also cut off when attempting to use photoshop and illustrator.

Efficient. This app does exactly what you want it to do for a Remote Desktop. Exceptional on both mobile and ipad. Highly recommend it!

Best RDP app, almost perfect. Doesn't mess up the layout on a remote computer if it has multiple displays. Fairly simple to get going as well as intuitive but still has lots of features. Could only be improved if it had the scan for hosts feature that you can then launch instead of plugging in all the info for a shortcut. But usage feels great and well worth the money if you need this type of app often.

They addressed the Windows 11 issues!. Works perfectly for all my needs! Thank you for addressing the bugs i mentioned in my previous review! Keep up the good work!

Tried many, this is the best. I tried and spent many $$ finding the best removing app, and I wish I had come across this one first as it would have saved me time and money.

The only RDP Worth Downloading!. The best RDP client app available on any platform. Don't bother getting anything else. I tried them all and this is the only one that made my project possible. Would be great to have 'log-off' feature as well as disconnect for domain level control but there are other ways around that. Great job...keep developing!

Amazing app! Well above my expectations!. The app works sooooo much better than I thought! Fluid makes the connection sooo fast at 60 FPS even though its not perfect I would be happy if you keep improving it. butttt like every app, there’s a downside. There is no instructions on how to set it up on Linux.

Great App / Mouse Support iPadOS. I love this application. It works great! BUT.... it doesn’t work with the new Assistive Touch mouse support in the just released iPadOS 13.1. I have been waiting for iPadOS to be released for this function alone. I want to use my normal Logitech M535 mouse which works perfectly on iPadOS with Jump Desktop. I try to connect the physical mouse in there app and it doesn’t find anything,. Please tell me you are bringing Assistive Touch mouse support to Jump Desktop. Thank you. Mike

Paperspace VM on IPad Proband iPhone. Works great as as IPad / iPhone Client for the PaperSpace Cloud running business applications. To set up on Paperspace, Just Add a public IP to your VM, get your machine Windows Server user/password using C:paperspace-password-tool then enter IP, user and password into the app and you are good to go. Works well in both Windows 10 Desktop and Tablet more. Tested it running QuickBooks desktop on the VM and it work surprisingly well iPad Pro version of the App.

Must have. Excellent! I could not work with out it.

Finally Touch ID support. This is the best RDP app out there hands down.

Can’t get/stay connected.. It would be good if it would connect every time and then stay connected. Disappointing. Returned.

Not at all intuitive - waste of 70 dollars. Bought both the iOS and Mac OS versions - the app says that my computer should show up once I download the connect app on my computer and grant permissions for screen recording and accessibility - I did all of this - I also made sure to sign in with mu desktop - and my computer is still not showing up in my jump iphone app.

Awesome. It was basically a flawless amazing app until I started using VPN. Now Google keeps restricting access even though I've loosened the settings on my email account.

BEST. Simply the best, try it you'll ask yourself how you did without it before.

Impressed. Reliable. Fast.. I switched. I love this app. Very fast. Very easy to use. Very fast screen draws. Very easy to setup. Very easy to launch each time. Just the right price. No regrets. New star on the block. I wish I had switched sooner.

Work. Very nice apps

Best Remote Desktop app. I use an iPad Pro for most everything. There is really only 1 app I need an PC for anymore. This makes very usable and handy even remotely.

Best remote access app. Fast, reliable, intuitive.

New version freezes. Since updated to new version, it freezes as soon as open. I rebooted phone, close all other App but it freezes 100% every time. Avoid this version and wait till next update.

I'd love to give this app a glowing review.... The app works. It does what it says it will. It does not however connect to any Bluetooth mouse other than the ******Mouse GT. Check the other reviews. Looks like people are being paid to give great reviews and encourage people to buy a $300 mouse in addition to the $20 app. If you want a working remote desktop have at 'er. If you want something that offers function to non-elite mouse owners shop around.

Seriously useful. RDP mode essentially turns your ipad into a Surface tablet with all the touch gesture support. Constantly updated. Great piece of software.

“Computer is offline” error even though it isn’t. I installed the app, worked fine that same day. 2 days go by that I don’t use it, when trying to connect to pc from my iPad, won’t connect saying computer is offline. My computer is set to not sleep, definitely isn’t offline and still I get this issue. I completely uninstalled the app and reinstalled it on my pc this Friday, worked again that same day, then as the weekend passed and tried to connect this morning, same issue! This app only works the day it’s installed and then won’t connect to my pc. I’ve checked to be sure I have all the latest versions running both on the iPad and pc, everything looks good. Need a fix for this ASAP. App might only be 20$, but not worth it so far.

Support resolution for iPhone XS MAX?. The new fluid update with matching resolution is excellent. Helps when I move from my iPad to iPhone. But any plans to support the iPhone XS MAX screen resolution? Quite a bit of wasted space right now on the top and bottom...

I wish I had found this sooner!. I have tried all sorts of remote control software, some free and some paid, and none have them have quite fit my needs until now. The ease of use and the natural feel of the user interface have wowed me. I honestly didn't even know that this app would also let me control my PC over the Internet. Talk about a happy surprise! Thank you for making my life a little bit easier.

Great. I was using screen mirroring on my MacBook but wanted to switch to my iPad as a primary device and remotely log into my Mac. All the free software I tried just didn’t operate very well…controls were annoying. Took the leap and bought this software and no regrets. I love how it shows the full screen and with the Magic Keyboard it’s like using the ‘mouse’ locally on the machine. I do recommend cranking up the quality if you have the bandwidth. On the smaller 11” iPad makes it a lot easier to make out the details from the ‘larger’ screen I’m mirroring.

Best app for remote controlling from ipad. This is the best app from the app store to control a computer from an ipad. The only thing missing is to be able to have linear scrolling when controlling a windows computer (and not acceleration scrolling, which is messy on windows)

Remarkable App. I absolutely love this app! I have just installed this on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Windows PC’s and am learning its true power!!! A++++

Amazong app for 3d artist. I use maya primaraly and this is the app. Right click, middle click works!!! Even the alt key. This apps is great overall, there’s not even lags

This is perfect!. After iTeleport got discontinued, I’ve tried several VNC apps and was always disappointed. The trackpad mode of moving the mouse always felt flimsy and cheaply made or non-existent, but not on Jump! On Jump it feels like a real trackpad just like iTeleport was, it’s like a drop-in iTeleport replacement! And it supports mouse too! The only VNC app I’ve found so far that actually works with a mouse! I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a VNC app to remotely control their computers!* *This message is NOT sponsored by Phase Five Systems.

This is the one I use. Double-clicks / right-clicks could be more intuitive, but this is a very reliable tool and I use it almost exclusively.

Smooth, easy to use. I've been using Jump for several years after our IT guy suggested it (XP and W7). Works perfectly if you have an encrypted internal network that you can remote access from a home laptop via secure VPN. Jump allows me to access full functionality on the home laptop, which means my internal work desktop. The Jump interface allows me to do anything on my mobile that I would do at home or work. No 'sent from my iPhone' tags, just full outlook email and internal shared drive access.

All remote devs need this. I constantly switch work spaces. Whether I am at home, work, bus, or tech van, Jump Desktop has been a life saver. Easy install and easy to connect. It really can’t get any easier to connect.

Fluid Connection has BAD windows animation. On my iPad, I am using Fluid connection but opening and closing any tabs are crazy slow. Most likely “windows animation” feature is slowing down fluidity . I can disable this “WINDOWS ANIMATION” feature in RDP but there is no such option in Fluid connection. I have latest version of Jump Desktop IOS 9.14.19 Hope you guys FIX this issue or Provide option to Toggling this feature On Or Off in next version

nothing happens when i press sign in. i havent been able to use the app yet. everytime i press login it just shows me a blank screen and nothing ever pops up.

Love It!. I’ve been using this for almost a year now. It’s great for connecting to your work computer when your at the pub and you want your don’t want anyone knowing where you actually are. This app makes it like I’m still at home grinding away instead of downing pints at my favorite BBQ bar. Amazing app!!!!

Lifesaver!. This app has saved my life too many times to count. It’s exactly the desktop version, just on your phone. The keyboard takes a second to get used to but I can whip around in this app no problem now. Amazing.

Connects to everything except. it wont connect to my Manjaro Gnome session. I made sure this wasnt a connection issue and tested it with microsoft's remote desktop ipad app and it connects to my linux laptop just fine, but for some reason every time i try to do it with Jump Desktop, it just takes me back to the main screen.

Very easy set up and simply just WORKED. This app made remote to pc easy after I tried all other remote app and been confused, you don’t even need to buy window pro upgrade this app just remote it for you just fine.

Love JUMP. What an awesome remote screen control solution. I’ve used this app on my iPhone and iPad for five plus years. It is so reliable and convenient. I am amazed with the ability to control TWO different systems from this app. Really cool. I’m hoping this feature can be extended to allow for connecting to FOUR remotes systems. Primary use is for a Trainer working remotely to monitor four Trainee systems. Thanks for an awesome app!

Works Great Every Time. It’s such a simple app to use. No huge fees or reoccurring charges. One click opens a window that displays a link to each computer you have setup in your group. Even on my phone. I use it everyday!

Best Remote Desktop App . . .. I used other Remote Access Options before and none ever worked. This App is easy to install, use and simply just works. There is two Versions to consider before buying. One Time Payment: - The IOS Version costs 15$ - The Desktop Version costs 35$ Depending if you want to Access your computer with an IPad/Phone or use another Computer to connect. Finally a Remote Access App that works. BTW: You can connect to two Computer simultaneously on your IPad - and if you connect to a friends computer they will see you name on the courser while still keeping their own.

Great potential, lacking basic organization. This app is far beyond the capabilities of its competitors. It’s amazingly smooth and just works well. Why is there no ability to group connections? As an IT professional who uses this consistently to manage customer environments, having the ability to group connections would make this app an easy 5 stars. Please consider!

Love Jump Desktop, but having keyboard problems. I love Jump. The touch interface is really well done (better than, for example, VNC Viewer’s “mouse” mode). This last release, amongst other things, fixed two minor (yet incredibly frustrating) keyboard issues, namely opt+cmd+q for macOS users and the right shift key on iPad smartcover keypad. Thanks for listening. Nice update, guys!

The Best RDP Client. I was really hesitant to pay $15 for this app, but I’m glad I did. Microsoft’s RDP app was ok, but it didn’t have good mouse/trackpad support. Not only does this app give me that, but it somehow seems faster, looks clearer and actually fills the entire screen. Considering there’s no subscription cost like so many apps have now, the cost is a no-brainer for me. Nicely done!

Not usable. Used this app for a few months and it worked as it should. Stopped working and I contacted support multiple, multiple, times. They kept saying send the reports. I did every time and never heard back. I had to contact them with a new ticket every time to get them to respond and still they never gave me a solution. Finally tried to fix on my own after weeks but uninstalling and reinstalling on both PC and IOS. It works. For about a day then nothing. I would not recommend this as customer support is useless when it doesn’t work

Must Have. Jump Desktop is a must have software, I typically don’t leave reviews for Apps or software. However, I have been using Jump for a few years now, and it is great. I use it to remote into about 50 various computers and servers. The Fluid protocol is great, especially for small businesses that do not have a VPN set up. This is by far the best app that I have on my iPad.

Great but strange dictation behavior. Great app overall. When I dictate using Siri, it types out the entire dictation, but when I press done, it erases the entire dictation and types it out again. Not sure why it's doing that. It slows the whole process down, and sometimes I accidentally close the window in the middle of this retyping.

Wow!. Admittedly, it's been about five years since I tried a remote desktop app so perhaps I'm behind the times, but I was truly amazed at how well this worked to access my Windows 10 work computer from my iPad Pro. The experience was so smooth and easy!

Great App. With my iPad, Apple Pen, and a keyboard, I can login to my work computer flawlessly. Better than my laptop. I can’t tell you how many times I didn’t have to go into the office or have to lug my laptop around. I can’t say enough great things about this app. Every day I find something else it can do. I run two screens at work...NO PROBLEM. Love Love Love this app.

Best RDP Client out there. Only two things that would make it perfect First would be better background multitasking. I notice if I go to a different app I have to log reconnect to the RDP or Fluid session again. In Microsoft RDP for instance I don’t have to if I switch apps. Second one really speaks to what could be the best feature of Jump Desktop and that is the video out feature. The big problem with IOS 13 is it doesn’t show the mouse cursor when using “touch assistance”. If we can get the circle pointer that is available when you don’t do video out we would have the killer multi monitor solution of our dreams.

Love it, but..... I love this app a lot. It’s nearly perfect expect it has one problem. I use my iPad Pro with the Apple keyboard and when I want to type anything in capital letters it would not go back to small letters. It is very annoying and I cant find a way to fix it. My iPad is on iOS 11.1.2. I use this app mostly for school and I do a lot of typing so Please please fix it ASAP.

Great app, but. One thing keeps me from giving this five stars. I often play games on a htpc on my main tv, and having the ability to save some bandwidth by streaming the audio only, and avoid having to swap my Bluetooth headphones between devices, would complete this app for me.

It was great until recently.... Using windows 7 for both home and work computer and accessing it via iphone or pc. Recently it would connect, freeze, and then I am no longer able to connect even the pc is still on. I am not sure what can be done to fix it. Pc to Pc seems to work alright but once it “appear” offline even though it is still online, I cannot access it via Pc or iphone until I restarted (which now I cannot since I am supposed to telework tomorrow). Help!

Clipboard notification bug. Love the app, but I think you guys might have a bug with clipboard notifications. Since installing IOS 15 on my iPad, the clipboard notifications drop down keeps showing up over and over while using the app. Might want to take a look and put out an update to patch that. Otherwise, the app is awesome.

Performance is a big issue.. The lag is a huge problem for jump, I don’t know why there are only a few people reviewed that. with free MS Remote Desktop and 200M network between the client and the server, I feel that I am not really using RD, but with Jump, it is so bad when video is involved. The only good thing about Jump is that it allows me to use a Citrix X1 mouse which is $60, not every one is willing to invest so much on a basic mouse though. Please fix the lag issue, for now, I can only give you 1 star, since there is free MS Remote Desktop is way better than yours.

Great and well supported app. Spent $20 years ago and the app has been great. Always being updated to stay current with various remote connection tech. Being able to remote into my and clients PCs and Servers from my phone has been a “save the day” more than once.

Best Remote Desktop app by far!. I have been using Jump Desktop for several years now. This app has been getting better and better. I have tried other apps like TeamViewer but Jump is so much faster and easier to use. It is easy to set up and even easier to use.

Great App continues to improve. Hands down the most responsive VNC/RDP app. I've been pleased so many years with this app that I feel I should pay some sort of "appreciation fee" because the improvements just keep coming!

I would be lost without this app. It makes it so easy to administer my windows servers for my iPhone and iPad. I probably shouldn't do so much work this way, but luckily this app exist and it just simply does it the best. I also use it to connect to my Mac. It works great doing that too. I have been using it for eight years now. Tried other apps but they just don't click.

WOW. WOW. Great app. It really seems like they thought of everything. Seamless and very easy to set up. Contrary to what some reviews tell you, it is very functional without a dedicated iPad mouse. Audio works too (although it’s a bit distorted. I haven’t messed with settings). Worth it for sure, especially considering the price of some of the competition.

Amazing. I bounced around a few of these apps until I found these guys and I’m impressed. The mouse was expensive but a total game changer. Turns my iPad into a real computer when I need it to. Absolutely amazing. 6 stars. Honestly, I would have paid a lot more for this. Totally worth it.

You get what you pay for. and this app is a great example. for 10 bucks, this absolutely blows the Microsoft client out of the water in appearance and usability. I love it so much that i even bought the Mac version as well. As an IT professional, i couldn't live with out these apps. 10/10 would recommend highly!

Best there is and active development. I’ve been using this app for over a year and although the mobile app is great, the power relies on their continued and active development with their desktop app as well. Well worth the price. Thank you for making this a non subscription based purchase.

Wow!. This works great. Including the support for the iPad mouse and trackpad. It streams games perfectly. Better than anything else I’ve tried. The only thing I’d like to see added is gamepad support. That would make it the best go-to remote desktop app, second to none.

Best RDP App. Now that the app supports trackpad and other generic mice this application allows me to use my IPP as a laptop replacement. I am able to RDP into my Windows 10 machine and do my development work. The only thing left is for Apple to offer support for extended desktop and multiple monitor support and I’ll never need to buy another laptop or desktop again.

10/10. Easily the best money I have ever spent on an app. Absolutely worth buying! Set up was straightforward and quick. The software launches flawlessly every time. Incredibly low latency, I was blown away when I first opened the app. Thanks Jump, finally a remote desktop that not only meets but exceeds expectations!

Great but still missing some key features. Smooth when you have a great connection, still lag on videos and no sound, wake on lan feature seems like it doesn’t really work, cant wait for wake on lan to work while on different networks and sound, please bring those features!!

Works right away. First I thought I wasted money because no options like tunneling were shown. When setting up anyhow and editing I found everything immediately. Would be great to have an additional option to connect just by ssh while still using the jumpserver option but that‘s not what was promised and I could just set up a VNC on the other devices

Brilliant!. This is hands down the best remote software I've used. Fluid is brilliant and surpasses all expectations with each update. Having RDP and VNC options as alternatives comes in handy as well sometimes. I primarily use the iOS app, but when I need to use the desktop app, it's great as well. Keep up the great work.

Beat purchase of 2021!!. Very smooth, little to no interruptions. Allows me to access my desktop from anywhere from either my phone or iPad. Would highly recommend for anyone working on the go or from home!! Would give 6 stars if possible!!

Wow, so much faster…. …so much faster than the other solutions I’ve tried including Screens, Team Viewer, the going away Back to My Mac. Worth the money. An added plus is filling the iPad’s screen with appropriate scaling (if necessary) so remote control is more like working at the console of the remote computer. Well worth the price of entry.

Flawless. This is as good as Remote Desktop apps for the iPad/iPhone get. It's completely changed the way I interact with my desktop, literally can't remember the last time I sat done in front of it, as I can now do everything via my iDevices from the couch, or in the office, or in a dentists waiting room or... in the passenger seat of a car heading down the highway. Works great with a Citrix X1 Mouse too, it's literally like having a mini desktop anywhere and everywhere, it's brilliant! Edit: By the way, any word on when audio support for fluid will be added? Thanks!

iPhone won’t work with it.. I have the Mac and iPad version and they both work fine. The iPhone version won’t show all of my computers and won’t even connect to the one it shows. No errors just endless “connecting.” I reached out to support but never heard back for months and I figured I’d leave a review so at least someone would have to see it. It’s been like this for at least half a year no matter the version.

Worth the price. I bought a copy for mobile devices and my Mac, and I gotta say it’s been worth every penny. I will randomly need to remote into my home machine and this does the job absolutely beautifully. It’s secure, as well, they even implemented a privacy mode that’ll black out your monitor while it’s being used. Buy good software. Buy dis.

Works fine for me. I leave my laptop on and just take my iPad when I travel. My only difficulty is duplicating some multi key functions like CTL-alt-e to clear a cell in Excel, or how to duplicate the ability to use a mouse to copy a paragraph or sentence in MS WORD, or a series of cells in Excel. It may and is just a training issue on my part. Bottom line it works great for me.

This one ‘just works’. I’ve downloaded several ‘wish they were’ VNC viewers before and even so much as paying $$ for them. I hesitated because of the cost of this app. I finally took the risk of downloading and I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. I would have saved $$$ in doing so. Not only does it support VNC but RDP protocols as well. I don’t have to ‘register’ with the company to use any VNC features, where all the other so called ‘VNC viewer’ companies do. It even supports Ultra VNC server! The mouse integration just works... Wish I would have done this so much sooner. Regards (Kicking myself)

Pressure sensitivity???. If you guys want to be number one and have an insane amount of new users, you should implement pressure sensitivity for programs like zbrush and photoshop. This app isn’t very cool, but adding pressure sensitivity with the pencil to programs in my pc would be more awesome than you can imagine. Please implement this in your next update and I will boast this to a massive community. Thank you.

Indispensable Tool. I’ve been using Jump Desktop for well over five years. It is one of my most indispensable tools for getting work done from any location - not only on my Mac, but also my iPad. If I could only choose 10 apps to have installed on my system, this would have to be one of them!

The Best I've Found. I am a physician who uses this app to access my windows-based EHR software on my iPad. I have tried several other apps, but have always found the speed or functions to be lacking. Jump desktop has been outstanding in this regard and has allowed be to ditch my PC and use my iPad exclusively.

Everything’s fine but please read. Since I have a usb keyboard I connect it to my computer and it works. But instead I have to use the mobile cursor on jump desktop. I want it to show the computers cursor itself. Please add it so I can make it a high 5

Excellent except I can’t figure how to get help. I can’t close email pop up notifications —I hit delete/or click on “x” to close the window. The circle turns blue but nothing happens. The only way I can close the window is by restarting my computer. It’s annoying. Other than this I would give this app a 5

A+++. I do not write reviews often, but after spending all day looking for a safe way to control my MacBook from iPhone I finally tried this. This software is much better than anything else I tried. Encryption paired with a stellar interface , this is some very well written software, and for $15 it’s a deal. Congrats, job well done!

Amazing but missing a feature. Everything is amazing!! Only feature it needs is to be able to send voice back. When I join a meeting remotely the sound comes through but the mic doesn’t send feedback through with my iPad please add that feature

Keyboard bug still present. There is still a bug where the keyboard pops up when clicking the bottom left corner of the screen such as when trying to click the start button in windows. This is very annoying as I am on an iPad pro with they magic keyboard, and the only way to remove this popup is to click the keyboard toggle in the top settings. Please fix! Also scrolling could use some smoothing out.
