NLT Bible. I love the NLT Bible, it breaks the Word down in a way that allows anyone to understand The Word of God. Easy to read, simple to use. I also purchased other commentaries to go along with this application. The side by side Bible versions also help out when one version is hard to understand. Excellent for the price.

Bible study. Makes the Bible easier to study

Roland. Tecarta has really put it together! What a fantastic opportunity, to be able to get all the versions I need for such an affordable price and then have them all sync and merge into one really usable Bible is beyond expectation. I recommend this to everyone. Whoops! A recent revision changes this. Tecarta had a fantastic offering that is now only a very good product. I am so disappointed they took two steps backwards with their latest revision! It is now possible to change Bible versions (a good thing) whereas before, it was really quick and easy to change versions. The book, chapter and verse search also was very quick and easy before the recent revisions, now it is more difficult and slower. Too bad! It was a five star, now only three?

Wonderful app!. Despite the cost, (I'm usually a "free" app type of person) this app definitely delivers. There's so much you can do with it. I've been studying the bible as best as I can and I look through various translations. This bibles is a great help for people who are trying to study. U can highlight (different color options), underline, make notes, make bookmarks, refer back to texts, audio option, and it has many footnotes. Overall I am very satisfied with it, I've been using it for the last year or so and I've yet to have any complaints :) definitely recommend!

Rescued by God. App is wonderful. I use it every worship service and for other Christ/faith messages. It has a lot to offer, however I would like to write in margins or highlight parts of a verse. Nonetheless, I am grateful and blessed by your app. Sinner/saved by grace.

The Best Bible App. This app is amazing. I have the Bible App, Glo Bible, ESV Bible, and others but this is by far the most user friendly and enjoyable. I can copy and paste verses to share via text or social media with ease, not even having to type by hand chapter and verse, automatically this app includes all details for sharing Bible verses. Beyond this defining and checking footnotes is faultlessly easy. As for translation, the NLT is impeccably accurate, close to the Greek in regards to the New Testament. I prefer the NLT, but you can add for an est. $4-8 additional translations such as KJV, AMPC, The Living Bible, and more. The user interface, style, functionality, and beauty of this app triumphs over all Bible apps. It is worth the money, every penny. This is the Apple version of a Bible if I ever could say so, the user friendliness and aesthetic appeal (artful beauty) makes it feel symbiotic (one) with the iPhone. This app is worthy of containing the words of the Almighty.

The Best NLT Bible App. If you are a new believer in Christ or first time Bible reader and have difficulties reading other translations (KJV,NIV, Amplified), purchase this version of the NLT. In addition to it being very simplified, the features are perfect. Much different from the free NLT apps in the App Store.

Love it!. The app runs very smoothly. Thought I would have trouble trying to navigate through it but, I was proven wrong. Love it! Makes enjoying Gods word so much easier without being distracted by the apps functions.

NLT. I love this app it is very helpful. I was reading the King James Version I couldn’t quite understand the book. But this version helped me a lot because I am dyslexic so it breaks it down and it also has audio 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!!

THANKFUL. FIRST, Thanks to GOD for his timeless inerrant WORD. Then thanks to everyone involved in making this app available! There are many good translations available, but I have really grown to love this New Living Translation, mainly for its easy readability and accuracy to the meaning and intent of Gods Word. It reads in today's way of speaking, and I get a clearer meaning when I read this version. Also, I hear some people say that if it isn't the King James Version, it isn't the Bible! Does God want us to stumble over ancient words that have no meaning TODAY? That only confuses ME many new readers of Gods word! So Kudos to the team that was instrumental in making this FINE version available.

Best Bible App. This exceeded my expectations. It’s fast and loaded will all kinds of great features. Highlights, notes, bookmarks, font/size, audio, etc. I REALLY like how the reader operates like a web browser so if you jump all over the place using references, you can easily navigate back to where you started. This seemed pricy, but glad I got it, it’s worth it in my opinion. Super intuitive, fast Bible app.

Fantastic App. Really enjoying using this app. Much easier to use than others I have. I love that you can also purchase other translations for use in the same format. Love the everyday English of the NLT Bible and that from what I have seen so far it keeps close to the original meanings of the texts.

Read. This bible is an easy read for the entire family. It’s also simple to locate the books and chapters.

Does not read allowed to you. How in today’s world of technology does this Bible not have the availability to have it read to you. Yes you can listen to a horrible computer voice reading it to you but not a human. I want my monies back.

The best bible app. Tecarta (and this NLT version) is the best bible app I have used. It syncs between my iPad and iPhone, allows me to take notes on specific scripture then search form those notes later. I appreciate the previous feature where I can return to a scripture after I've jumped to another one momentarily. The ability to switch to different translations all within this app is invaluable as well as the parallel ability when comparing two different translations. There are many more features that you would find beneficial and agree that this is the best bible app available.

Love it, sad that it will no longer be updated. This app is great - I love the look of it and the ease of navigating. I recently learned that it will no longer be updated and that is disappointing. I have different apps for different translations and love the ease of switching easily between the translations when I’m studying. Only being able to access the translations in one app will be frustrating in switching back and forth between them. The Tecarta app does not look as eye appealing as the individual apps either in my opinion.

It’s bare bones, but I like it. I wanted the an NLT since I struggle with the KJV, and mission accomplished. You have to pay for the extras like audio Bible, but this is a gem for what I was looking for. Great looking format and red letter version.

How could you not love this app?. I mean come on it's God's WORD. It's simple to use which is great because I like simple. I love the night mode because, honestly, to me, it's like His Word is shining through the lighted text. Love it. A very cool effect. Switching back and forth between versions I also enjoy. I keep it on KJV because I believe KJV to be the true, authentic, word for word, WORD of GOD, not tampered with by man. So I enjoy easily comparing the other bible versions who have literally changed the Word of God. And God said not change it or be cursed. Rev 22:18-19 KJV So, I absolutely LOVE this app and in fact it is my most used app on my iPad. Dear to my heart. ❤️ Thank you Lord for blessing the folks who created it. Amen

Do Not Purchase Until Updated!. I had previously purchased the KJV version of this application and just after iOS4 was release, they updated the application to version 2.01. I loved the new navigation features! However, many times I was not at a place that had WiFi when I wanted to use the NLT version so I bought this to go with my other KJV. Unfortunately, this one has NOT been updated - and worse yet, it becomes a stand-alone application so if you want to do a study showing both purchased version, you cannot! I tried contacting support but their email server bounced my email saying it didn't meet their standards for bulk mail. I have never sent ANY bulk mail to anyone. I'm not sure what to do but I feel I made a mistake buying this application.

A day starter and completer. Gets my day going, grounds me throughout the day and completes the day. Very grateful for this app.

Solid App; Best overall balance of price, features, appearance and functionality. GREAT: Before purchasing a Bible app for my new iPad, I did my homework. My conclusion is that this app is the properly affordable way to have multiple versions of the Bible. The ability to make two versions appear in parallel on the screen is a great way to simultaneously enjoy the readability of a preferred paraphrase and the reliability of a trusted translation. ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: The search function is straight-forward and therefore usable and practical, but advanced editable search parameters would be a good improvement. Also, please keep adding affordable in-app and integrated bible resources such as commentaries, maps, audio, etc. Allowing the user to customize their study Bible experience is the only way to go as different people are inspired by different resources.

Ate up battery like crazy. I had this less than a week, and trashed it since it ran my battery down 50% by noon every day. And I wasn’t even using the app.

This App is a Thing of Beauty. This app is simply amazing! It has some great note taking and highlighting capabilities but I really love the fact that I can read the NLT Bible right next to the KJV version (or any two versions of your liking) so I can cross reference verses, and they scroll together as I am reading! Adjustable Font size is great so I don't need my reading glasses. It will even read it to you and has several different narrative voices to choose from. It is well worth the small fee and it is far better than any free Bible that I have used. I Love it!!! God Bless Your Soul!!!

Easy sync with other Bibles. I only found out recently that the notes I take on when using my KJV bible during church services are automatically synced to my NLT note. That means I can take notes while using any of the versions and would reflect on both seamlessly. This is so convenient and ease of reference.

It's Genius!. Love the app! I have 2 bible translations I can view the translations in a parallel view if I wish, I can search for scriptures by using key words, I can highlight them for future reference, I can even text or email a scripture to a friend from the app. I love that the words of Jesus are in red. I like when you go to a particular scripture it will flash the verse when located. I use the scroll feature to go to a scripture and love how quickly I can navigate through the bible. I wonder why anyone would choose another bible app! You even have the option of purchasing a bible commentary from the app and the cost of translations/commentaries is minuscule! Very, very pleased with this app! And the periodic updates improve an already wonderful product.

Just loving this Bible Version NLT. Great for early Christian readers for easy understanding. App allows you to make your highlights and also add your notes. Overall an awesome app.

I Love This Bible. I love reading this Bible because of the way the text is in every day life reading. My pastor uses it every Sunday as we follow along either in our Bibles or on the projected screens. KEEP LEGACY Reading Mode. This is by far the best Bible App available. Been using it for years and I see a lot of others using it too. Great range of bible versions and study guides and devotions to buy in the app. A message to the developer - PLEASE DONT' REMOVE THE LEGACY READING MODE. This is found in the Settings and provides a clean, page-turning view which is a lot easier on the eyes than scrolling up and down and much closer to a real Bible reading experience.

Loving it.. Been using this app for years now. So easy to use, great features & functions, & attractive to look at. And I love the new developments in the latest version, my fav being the new look underline style - of all things! That said, thought I should pass on feedback that passages I'd highlighted previous to updating to the new version all now have the first word 'unhighlighted'. So a bit glitchy there. Apart from that, I have a suggestion that would make this app even more awesome: make it possible to have multiple tabs/pages open (like in Safari etc) so you could do things like flip to a cross reference & keep your place where you were originally reading. Anyhow, thanks for this great app, guys. Love it.

NLT. It's Awesome!!!!

update still needed. An update is needed for the bookmarks tool. When various bookmarks within a folder is sorted in different orders, the software doesn't link the new order to the actual bookmark. When the application is quit and restarted, the bookmarks return to their original order. The recent updates have helped a lot. But still, the sorting of bookmarks in their different orders is still needing update. The two buttons: 2nd and 3rd from the left, seem to be the same buttons. In the older version, the pen button was for notes, and the folder button was to return to folders. But now they seem to be the same function. Everything else works fine. Look forward to another update. Overall, i recommend this software (4 out of 5 stars).

My favourite Bible App!. I love the Tecarta App. I have used three other bible apps, and this one is the most user-friendly of all.

Awesome but be careful. The app is great. Beware of in app purchases. I bought a different translation via the in app purchase and was charged for it but it will not download. Syncing is all up to date but still no purchase download. I had to purchase it via iTunes paying twice.

Tecarta NLT Bible. Thank you guys for bringing this wonderful version to the App Store. I grew up with the Good News Bible and the NLP so when this became available it soon joined the NIV that you also provided so well. Very easy to navigate, I love everything about it, you guys appear to have forethought me at every need.

Difficult to navigate. Doesn’t work without internet. Disappointed that this application does not make the bible easily accessible. Please make a bible application that is accessible for everyone. I’m from generation Z. I cannot figure out how to navigate this application. I wish everyone, particularly those from the Boomer era, good luck in using this app. For $12.99 you’d expect to be able to use this bible with out internet. You can’t. The reason to have a mobile bible, is to use it in instances where you do not have access to a physical bible. For me this means when I am travelling (plane, train, camping, road trip, different country) and do not have internet access. Please, I encourage the creators to fix these limitation issues. We are trying to spread the message of God and deepen our connection.

What more could you want.. If you are looking for a bible app, with the bible in different translations this is the one to get. Super easy navigation and search features. It has been a great resource for my walk with God.

DON’T Buy IN-APP Purchase. I love all the TECARTA Bibles, they are the best value and worth every penny! Someone may frown on having to pay up to $30 for a Bible app, but I used to pay well over $100 for a good bible at my Christian bookstore. Thank God, those days are gone and any bible I Purchase now will outlast any device I use it on! I have one regret: Buying in-app purchases. If you don’t buy the actual bible app from Apple (for the same price), but decide to get the ‘handy’ in-app purchase for another Tecarta product, you will have to pay again if you decide you like the convenience of having the actual app from the Apple app. store on you device, and being able to switch while both are open. Here’s the thing, once you have bought the actual app of the translation you want, you will have access to the in-app purchase through your Tecarta account, but not the other way round. Confusing? Just don’t make an in-app purchase and you will be fine!

NIV app. I find your app lovely and encouraging with daily verses and ease of finding verses.

Easy to use - Great interface. I had been using another Bible reader on my old HP Pocket PC (remember those?) It was nowhere as easy to use as this one, especially with respect to searching and writing notes. The user interface on this app is intuitive, but even if you forget how to do things, or where stuff is, all you have to remember is how to get to settings and reset the tutorial (the stuff that shows up looking like hand written notes when you first display a page.) Then you get an instant refresher on how things work. Beauty! I liked my son's so much, I bought one of my own.

Love this app!. It was one of the very first apps I got on my iPhone. My husband had it on his and I really wanted it. It's great to have the Bible with me everywhere and we have bookmarked verses we are memorizing and ones to memorize. I'd highly recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for. I downloaded a lot of Bible apps. Most tried to have too many additional tools which overshadowed the basic functions. The search and browse features on this app are easy and straightforward. (I've been using this app for 4 years) The new daily verse feature at startup seems like it is too Much like YouVersion, which is a turnoff for me, because I love that this app ISN'T YouVersion. That would be my only recommended improvement. I have recommended this to so many people.

Great translation; fine app. I love using this translation for my personal reading and devotions. It is clear and easy to read and is on the whole at least as accurate as more "word by word" translations that make you guess as to what the passage meant to the original readers. I find the app helpful, quite intuitive and easy to navigate. I recommend the app and the Bible.

Intuitive, useable, software. This was my first App experience on my iPod Touch and I was able to figure out basic useage very quickly and now I am working on some of the more advanced abilities of the product. The side by side display is quite usefull and alows the reader to see two columns of biblical text, side by side. The search feature is very efficient and red lettering a real bonus. Even note number references, when touched, are elaborated. I haven't compared this product with others but my wife has a free bible App on her iPod and she prefers to use mine...guess I have a good hint for her next Christmas gift!

The update is really nice.. I've been use the app for a couple pf years now and still like it. It's easy enough to use and has all and more for you daily reading needs. Notes and highlighting are great. Navigation is well laid out. Highly recommend.

Review of Bible. I use this Bible for reading at church and studies so no matter what lighting I'm dealing with I can see. I have two different Bibles on my IPad however I always use your because of the ease and speed in which I can get to a particular passage. It's just the best and easiest to use. My one complaint is that it only gives me 1 chapter at a time.....I'd prefer to be able to find a verse and read before and after its chapter without having to go to contents again.....but not reason enough to use a different Bible. Thanks for your product.

Excellent Bible App!. This Bible app. has many great features: Jesus' words are in red; you can highlight your favorite passages in the color of your choice; you can make the font as small or as large as you'd like; you may read/compare/study two different versions side by side in landscape mode. This Bible app is worth both your time and money!

Awesome Bible App. Love this app. Love that I can use it without wifi and sync across all devices. Love the interface of this app and I've had this app for a couple of years and never once has it crashed on me even with multiple updates. I never miss a beat when leaving home as it works wonderfully with my iPhone. If I make notes or highlight while on the road I never have to worry if it's going too be on my other devices

Fantastic App. I tried a lot of Bible Apps before I found this one. I truly enjoy it's ease of use, the tools that it comes with, and the easy expansion of versions. I also like that I can use it off line, which is a big deal for me. The only thing I wish they would change would be to add a Greek version to the Bibles we could purchase, that would be very helpful to me.

Pretty decent Bible app.. Decent. I like the split feature...but I think I prefer youversion a little more. 4 stars because I don't like the navigation. You have to select the book and chapter each time. I like youversion's navigation with the drop down menus for book and chapter. But it is pretty solid. Last recommendation, all free versions should be bundled with any purchased version.

Now that's a Bible Program!. Great bible program...My wife and I downloaded this Bible program each in different translations. It's awesome! We can break out our iPads and study together anywhere. I love the abillity to highlight in different colors, I've even started a personal folder where I can put my thoughts down about anything that I've read, or to just write down how I'm feeling at that moment. The Only want I would have about the NLT version is to have a red letter addition, like the NIV version has. Try it you'll love it.... especially on an iPad.

Minister Jovon. I love this Bible App. It is easy to use and a blessing for both preaching and studying. I love the fact that once its downloaded I can read it whether I'm connected to the Internet or not. I really love the parallel application that can be used to compare versions of the Bible. I would recommend this app to someone else and have already done so to several friends.

Best Bible App Available. I have purchased and used many Bible apps including logos which is several hundred dollars. Tecarta is the best Bible app available. It is full featured yet intuitive and easy to use. The ability to add additional Bible versions is excellent. Because the notes on my iPhone and iPad automatically sync to the Tecarta website I can easily transfer information to my laptop. This is a fantastic app and a wonderful Bible study tool.

I also have hard back copy that was bought for me in 1996.. This has been so helpful when now in trying times and heated discussions I can go to my iPad search a word and it pulls up all verses pertaining to that word. It makes hearing and sharing the Lord's word efficient and love the fast referencing. Thank you so much for this easy to use of the Bible. Pat ❤️2U

Still helpful after several years!. I have been using this app for several years now even through a change of devices. It is very helpful! Having several translations and two study Bibles has made preparing for Bible studies a much fuller experience. When I have had a tech problem the folks at Tecarta have been a quick email away with solutions and answers. This has been an easy app for me to use as I am not computer savvy! I recommend this app!

Quit working. The application worked fine for a long time(months and months). I highlighted my favorite verses. I had parts of an entire bible book highlighted in different colors. Then along comes an update which obviously had not been tested adequately. My application would not even open. I finally tried uninstall and reinstall on my iPad. It didn't work and I lost all my highlighting. Now they sent out another update to fix what should of never happened. After losing hours of highlighting, I don't trust that it won't happen again.

Best Bible Translation & App. I was never one to mark in my Bible, so an app is perfect for me. (I actually highlight sometimes now!) Sometimes I think I could find a chapter faster during a sermon with an actual Bible (once I was familiar with it), but finding a chapter really is easy with this app and probably way faster for most people (if they at least know the order of books).

Great Product. This has been a God-send to me. Between having parallel ability to look at two versions at the same time and the quick ability to perform searches, this is a wonderful app. Thanks to the developers and all who took part in bringing this to the public.

Love it. The NLT Application Bible is unlike any other. It is great to wake up to and wonderful to go to sleep to. By design it interfaces with life in a seamless and comfortable way. Reading no longer feels staccato, instead I look forward to opening these virtual pages to see what treat God has laid out for me next. The Bible has never felt so alive. What a blessing. ❤

Outstanding. I very rarely purchase Apps, however, this one is worth the purchase. The language is so modernized & easy to understand, so the message from God is clear. You don't even need a hand held bible when you have this app. I love how easily I am able to navigate through books and chapters as well. Bravo! :)

I LOVE THIS APP!. I bought the NLT because our pastor endorses it, and he's right - it is so easy to understand! I do love the beauty of the language in the KJV, but I can read this and UNDERSTAND it like I'm reading the newspaper. What a blessing! The app is really easy to navigate - I use the wheel method to find verses that I'm looking for, and it works like a charm. The highlighting of verses is also very easy to do. Great job, Tecarta!

Fantastic! by Akanimo. Great Bible App! Bible reading and studying is now very enjoyable! Two versions can be installed side-by-side, good highlighting features and an even better and quick search facility. More expensive than the others but worth it! Highly recommended

They lost my notes. I have loved this app for about 16 months. One of my favorite features has been how easily I could take notes and keep them with me without having to flip through a bunch of people. But the last update wiped out all the notes that I've taken in that time. I recommended this app many times, but now I'm so disappointed. At the very least if they were going to wipe out the updates they could have warned us so we could preserve our thoughts elsewhere!

NLT bible / Life Application Study Bible. I love this app. Our church uses this translation. I have the word with me all the time. Easy to use, so far it is everything I could ask for. We have the NLT Life Application Study Bible on our iPhones and iPads. So nice to have His word so accessible. The life application bible truly brings the word to life and makes it relevant to our modern life. This app is the best gift you could give someone. I would give it 10 stars if possible.

Love it. This is very easy and simple to use. I love the fact that I can highlight certain pieces and sections and can then refer back to them easily. I didn't want anything complicated. I just wanted something simple and easy to use so I could focus on my readings...not trying to navigate the app.

Awesome App!!!!!!. I got this app back when I first got an iPad (a few years ago). This is probably my most favorite app ever!!! I have purchased quite a few versions of the Bible on here and it comes in handy. Sometimes we don't have wifi or cell signal and everyone asks, does anyone have a bible app that doesn't require internet? YEP!!! Love the features and having a quick place to reference The Word!!!!

A Must Have. This app has help me so much. Daily I use it in my time with God. It is great to be able to flip and search through different verses, all at once. This is very easy to use. The only down side is I miss the turning of pages in my bible. However it is a great tool to use as I study. D.D.

My favorite bible app!. Love how easy this app is to use! It has several great features that with the update are even better. Not overwhelming with too many features to figure out, but enough to use the app to study the bible, take notes, and for quiet times. Ability to use offline is great. Definitely recommend this app!

Love it!. I've used this app for several years now. I use it so that her I travel I'm not toting a heavy and bulky bible. My only beef is that on one of the last updates they permanently put two little tabs at the bottom which interfere with seeing all the words at the bottom when using the page setting. Other than that , I love it.

Holy Rookie. I have just recently started reading the Bible and really centering my life around God. I find the fine print in printed Bibles hard to see and read. This app is awesome. I can read it and quickly find passages while following along in church. I highly recommend this app.

Hello...it's God's word...of course it gets 5 Stars!,. I really do like the app. Super convenient. I like it even more on my iPad! My only problem (& it's my fault) is that I had made a lot of notes, files , etc. and lost it all when my iPhone needed to be reset... If you have to do that be sure to backup your apps too! I also find Tecarta very generous. They allow you to try other versions of the Bible and do not kick you off it you use them for a while. The notes and highlights are v helpful and the whole app is intuitive making it easy to use.

TOTALLY.... AWESOME.... BRO. The side by side comparison feature is pretty cool and all but I really like the feature that allows you to type in a word an it brings up every single verse in the bible that has that word. However one thing I haven't seen yet that I'd like to see is if your reading and you stop to search another book it should save where you last were. Maybe it's on here and I just haven't seen it yet.

My Mobile Sword. This is my start to most every day and out of the many Bible apps I've tried to include those through iBooks and Nook this is by far the best. The additional bibles and tools should be less expensive but their not on the outrageous side just the same. The ability to follow cross-references, highlight, underline, bold, and even make margin notes makes it the closest thing to my first hard cover bible that has tons of markings and notes.

Very effective. Tecarta is a very effective and highly useful App for the iPad. Navigation is quick and intuitive, and its search function is fast and comprehensive. I have used Tecarta for more than a year now, first on a Nook Color and now on an iPad, and it has proven to be a good support to my preparation and study.

LOVE THIS APP!!!. This is a great app. I love being able to download versions for offline use and they're cheap. Most any translation you could want is available. And now with the added study resources it's even better. My only suggestion would be to add a slide bar that allows you to adjust brightness within the app and make it where you can highlight passages in the commentaries. Great App!. I have so enjoyed reading the Bible this way...I have two versions, and I purchased J. Vernon McGee's Commentary. It has been a delight to read along with the scripture. To have them side by side is wonderful. I liked all of the recent updates except the chapter, book, and verse search....it is tedious now. I hope you will consider going back to the old format. Thank you for making this all available for us!

NLT version. I like this much better than Olive Tree because it is so easy to use. Even a senile senior like myself can take advantage of all the features without being burdened with an abundance of unneeded features. I really like the new updated interface. So much easier getting to book, chapter, verse than the old method. 6/1/13

Use it everyday. This app allows you to Creat folders and files for what ever study I might have. Also allow you to make margin notes to verses just like a hard copy Bible, except I can write as much as I want and not have to squeeze it in the margin like in a Hard copy. It also allows me to underline. Couple things I wish it would do are be able to underline only parts of verses and have more high light colors and combination of colors.

Great product after this last update!. I absolutely love having The Bible on my phone! I also love the side by side comparison of the different translations. The highlighter, margin notes, and posting to Facebook features are also great! The only reason I give it 4 stars is before the update I attempted to purchase another translation in order to do the side by side comparison but it did not work. I had to end up purchasing the translation I wanted a second time after the update to get the side by side comparison.

I love this app!. This is an amazing app to have! I can take take this app anywhere and read the Word. It comes with a full dictionary, notepad, highlight colors, and best of all it is easy to use! For those of you who want to get to know the Word fast and want to read the Word at any place without bringing your bible, I really recommend this app!

Looks good so far. I have been using this app for a few months now. And until today it was great. Today I found a bible verse that I wanted to save. I can not find the table of contents witch to me would be All the Books of the bible. Still working on that. It took me a few to figure out how to highlight a verse. And now I want to save this verse but can't figure out how to do this.....

Not able to highlight, copy verses after the iOS update. After the recent iOS update in September 2014, this app is not allowing to highlight the verses i want. When i highlight one verse it highlights some other verse and same with copy. Also i do not see any of my old notes or highlights. Please fix this bug.

Tecarta. Best ap for download so far imo. Pros, ability to use 2 versions side to side, since d/l rather than online it depletes battery slower. Cons ; too easy to hit define with +s, needs put in another place big time. Iphone 6 4.7 too sensitive flipping vertical to wide by accident. Even so, i enjoy it a lot. Wish it had the older version of nlt version. Almost all aps exchange for newer versions of nlt for 2011which is still of God but i would love it added.

This is a great Bible app. This app is great and I am happy with it. I use it on my iPod touch and so far it's been really great to use especially for a spare mobile Bible. It has a lot of features that are a little confusing but it's really convenient later. The app is kinda expensive but it's a while Bible so it makes sense. Love this app. Jesus is awesome!!!

Great App. I use it almost daily and love that I can make personal notes for verses. I WOULD like the ability to mark words and phrases and use different colors instead of just highlighting the verse, but that is just a minor distraction. Overall, I think it is the best featured Bible app out there.

Great app!. I like split screen feature. And while it may not be free like YouVersion, you can download certain translations for offline reading. I can't get the NLT on YouVersion for offline reading. Also, this bible is formatted for the iPhone 5's larger screen and YouVersion isn't. That's wasted landscape for me. Great app!

Translations (I have 4 and purchased them on sale days), ability to take notes, highlighting with different colors (helps me keep track of what I've read/studied), copy and paste feature, search tool...are only some of the perks of this app. Info transfers to new phones and updates have enhanced the features of the app. I'm SO grateful for the programmers of this app; God has indeed blessed them with their talents to bring God's Word to the ends of the earth! It's a must have app for everyone!!!

Great app. I have purchased other Bible software. Some too many options that just won't give you what you want without a lot of work. This app is easy to navigate, search and easy to adjust to your preference. Highly recommend!

The best e-book version I have found. I have down loaded three other digital bibles in the past None of them compare to the ease of use and the ability to see side-by-side comparisons of Living and King James versions. I never thought I would find a digital version that I would go to first and foremost over the printed page. This app is worth every star given! If you belong to a study group you will love this app.

Really Good Bible Program!. I've used other bible programs, and none of them are as user-friendly as this one. The ability to take notes and bookmark with ease, as well as being able to cut and paste scriptures (maintaining the title of the scripture) is very useful. Online syncing is also a plus! Within the Tecarta bible program, I have bought 5 versions, and they are all accessible regardless of the bible version you choose (KJV, etc). Thank you, Tecarta, for improving my iPhone bible experience!

Pastor from Georgia. I love the NLT application and being able to use it where ever I have just a few moments. NOTE: Having been a pastor and hearing various comments, it is distracting to some people when you are using your iPhone or another device during a worship service even it u are using your bible app. It gives the appearance that you are texting or checking your email or surfing the net. Good one. Bought it for the NLT. Has the basic features, doesn't require online connection for the basics, either, like some bible apps do. For the NLT admission price ($2 when i got it) I'm happy with the app, recommend it. Developer suggestions: chapter selector feature to hop around long books faster; "back" button for previous location; selectors (such as books) show current book highlighted;would love if font settings dialog allow change of brightness level, ala Kindle app

Already loved it - now it's even better. This app is the best. I literally use it all the time. There is access to so many translations and you are able to highlight verses and even words. You are also able to take notes. My favorite feature in this latest update is the availability of the Strong's concordance - such a great feature - now I can do so much studying without having to leave the app. Thanks - keep up the good work.

Basic straightforward NLT Bible app. I like that it's just black text on white background instead of yellow pages and antiqued look like some other apps. Easy to find references quick by pressing top left button next to current ref. Has text search and night mode, notes are a little awkward, has highlighting too. Good price and all the basic features for a bible app, but no study notes.

LOVE the adaptability of this App!!. I read much more often because there's no added weight to my brief case. Plus it practically jumps onto my hand! The Graphic Designer in me loved being able to change the font to Garamond. It made it much easier to read! Easy to change text position. All this & cross references, too. Great purchase!

A great translation for all to read. The NLT is great version for all of us to read. It speaks at a level that most people speak on and can clearly understand. It is so important for the new Christian to have a translation he or she can understand rather than frustrate them from not understanding. I highly recommend this Bible.
