App Crashing. I love that I can just order pictures through the app instead of having to go to Walgreens and print pictures there, but the app ALWAYS crashes and it gets very frustrating. I don’t have the time to go through the pictures I want to print and wait for 30 minutes for them to upload just to have the app crash and I have to do it all over again. Also the uploading process takes forever and if my phone turns off from just sitting on the uploading page for so long then my uploading process cancels because the app closes. Another issue I’ve had recently two times was a picture in my order was never printed, along with another order where I tried printing 3 pictures and I only got one of them but I had 3 copies of that picture which I know I didn’t order. The main issue is the length of time it takes to upload and submit an order and the app crashing a countless number of times while trying to upload. This has been a huge problem for a very long time and I’m surprised it’s still happening because I know some friends and family that have had this issue as well. UPDATE: i love the new update !! ordering pictures (so far) hasn’t been a hassle at all ! i’m very pleased with this part of the update. i only use the app for ordering pictures so i don’t know how the rest of it is but thank you for finally fixing the photo part ! i hope it stays like this in the future !

Lots of glitches lately. I’ve used the app for at least a couple of years and I always liked it. Recently, though, I’ve had lots of problems, especially with meds on auto-refill. In January a med was auto-refilled when I had purposely taken it off auto-refill a couple of weeks before because I had sufficient supply. Last week I noticed that another med which was due for auto-refill had not been filled, and watching daily I saw that the refill date was moved one day later each day. No explanation, no notice. The pharmacy tech told me I had to reset the auto-refill each time a prescription was renewed but nothing in the app suggested that. The app does not make it easy to know if there is a problem with a refill— it just doesn’t get done and eventually you notice meds are missing and call the pharmacy. One thing the app does do well is to track what prescriptions have been filled and when. And usually when I order a refill through the app (rather than auto-refill) it works okay. Deliveries have not been consistent lately but I think that may be a delivery service issue not related to the app itself.

Descent into uselessness. This app used to be amazing, a real model for what a huge company can do when it devotes resources to being a good iOS citizen. But for the past year? maybe two? it seems like they’ve overhauled the prescription interface every two or three months, becoming less iPhone-like with each revision, and this has corresponded to it becoming almost completely unusable for me. At first it was refill requests that not only disappeared, but deleted the scrip from my account history, so I’d have to get a brand new prescription from the doctor. Now I’m having the same issue noted by some other reviewers, where some/most of my refill requests go into an “Action Needed” state that requires me to call or go by the store. Invariably the local employees act like I’m a fool who doesn’t know how to use the app, but in fact the app is directing me to bother them, for seemingly no reason other than its own inability to function as it should. Perhaps my problem is with a deeper rewrite of Walgreens’s internal systems, and the worse UI is a coincidence. At any rate, this app went from amazing to execrable over the course of a couple of years, and it’s sad to see.

Slow as a sloth. Ok so I want to like this app since Walgreens is my pharmacy and the local store is good as well as the desktop version on my computer browser. But the iOS app needs work... 1) It seems designed for the iPhone and wastes a lot of screen space on my iPad Pro. 2) Browsing to my cart takes forever! I mean 5 minutes sometimes. I’m on a fast connection and no other apps have trouble, nor does doing certain things like looking up products in the shopping section. Adding things to my cart is fine too. But actually tap the cart icon to see its contents/check out? It’s like there’s a queue of computers all pinging away at a single nationwide server. I’m sure that’s not the situation, but every darn time on either of my iPads I want to view my cart, it takes a ridiculous amount of time. Lastly, 3) The app store page states clearly that the Walgreens app ‘may’ use your location, even when it isn’t open. Huh? Please explain to us why the app would need to do that *other* than for tracking consumer behavior in order to target him/her for ads, or other shenanigans. Good app otherwise, but because of #2 and #3 above I will not be using it. I will upgrade my star rating if these things are fixed.

Can’t access Prescriptions. Downloaded few weeks ago... Transferred one prescription after setting up account but didn’t get acknowledgement. No status on app two days later. Went to Lorton Pharmacy and prescription transferred but app keeps giving me ‘NOT A MN RX AUTHENTICATED USER’ error anytime I attempt anything prescription related. Access fine via website with same credentials! Called week ago to tech support and told ticket was opened! Told someone would contact me regarding issue. Been five days and called again... no status in ticket, no resolution and was told another trouble ticket for next tier was opened!?!? Manually transferred 4 prescriptions via Lorton pharmacy and web site gets updated but app has same issue. Have tried deleting and setting up account with text verification working fine... SAME PRESCRIPTION ACCESS ERROR!! UPDATED REVIEW: Called customer support several times... got lousy support! Shifted around numerous times and once sent to my local store for an APP/Website Issue!?! Couple of times I was disconnected!?!!! Over 3 weeks, I’ve opened several tickets with tech support but they were never located a few days later when I called! DECIDED TO SWITCH TO ANOTHER COMPANY AT THIS TIME!! Shame that your company can’t seem to resolve simple APP issues regarding pharmacy prescriptions! That’s your primary business!?!? 🤔

Works but you need to learn the quirks. This app is handy for renewing prescriptions which is what I use it for. To get the most out of it you need to learn the quirks. (1) Enter prescription renewals as if each one was the only one. If you enter multiple renewals on one order you will only get the first one. All others will be lost! They keep telling me this has been fixed but it hasn’t. (2) It likes to text you when you’re due for a renewal but it won’t tell you which medicine needs to be renewed - you’ll have to figure that out (the pharmacists won’t know either). And, fairly frequently, it will text me that a prescription is due for renewal and when I figure out which one and renew it, quite often the renewal is too soon for the insurance. Better to renew on your own timetable. (3) The app will want to text you when your prescription is ready but it’s better to check by logging in and looking at the prescription status. Sometimes you think it will be ready and it’s not for a reason you’re not expecting and only by logging in will you find this out. Or the prescription has only been partially filled - but the app won’t text you that it’s been partially filled - you have to log in for that information. Other than that it works well enough.

Filling prescriptions on file. I have several prescriptions I take daily. When I visit my doctor for followup, he writes new prescriptions for those prescriptions. If I’m not quite out of any of them I just go ahead and have my Walgreens pharmacy put them on file for future filling through my Walgreens app. I’ve been using it several years now and love it!! It’s so convenient and easy to use. I only have one issue. When I try to fill a prescription that I have on file, the app puts that prescription in a category that “requires action”. Most of the time I’m also refilling a prescription. I go get my prescriptions when the app notifies me they are ready, get home and then realize I don’t have one of my prescriptions. Looking back on my app it show that prescription needs attention. That requires me to call, talk to someone, then it’s filled. But I’m already home. It would be much more helpful and convenient for prescriptions such as this to go ahead and be filled so customers aren’t inconvenienced or possibly miss taking a medication because they didn’t realize their requested prescription is stuck in a black hole. The pharmacy personnel have no idea these prescriptions requiring attention even exist. Hope you can fix this issue. Thank you for this awesome app!

Med not available. Every month for a year or more I attempt to refill my (narcotic) Butrans patch. The refill rx is there at the store. It is sent electronically by my physician, in front of me, at my appointment. You will not let me request a refill until exactly 30 days from the last refill...not a problem. So, I have worn my last patch for the final day. Now I can request a refill but you never have the med in the store and you have to order. It takes 2-4 days to get the med in and now I’ve gone without medication for 2-4 days. That’s a problem, plus you never let me know when the med arrives at your pharmacy so I’m waiting around for you to notify me which can add more days. I have discussed with my physician and the best probable solution is to order all meds from my employer’s hospital pharmacy. Also, the Teva brand is pretty useless but hey, saves you money and my copay is the same. I am a healthcare licensed person who specializes in federal and state regulations so I am aware of certain restrictions. I doubt you can do anything to correct but I wanted you to know why I left, when I do leave. Trying to juggle 2-3 pharmacies is ridiculous.

Great service. Great service in the photo department today around 3:45, 2-3-21. First time ever I tried to transfer photo’s off my phone . Needless to say I failed. Went there to pick up my pic’s so I thought. Got there and they couldn’t find my pics. So I tell the guy who I didn’t get his name but thought his tag said shift leader. It was my first time doing this. I show him my phone says photo sent . He takes a look a says oh you forgot this part. So fixes it. I tell him ok, I will pick em tomorrow . He says how many pics did you have , I tell him about 7. He says no problem I will do it now. Oh this gets better, I thank him . As I am standing there he is getting my pics and he says to me , did you mean to cut this people heads out of the pic. Of course I say no, I told him I was trying to “crop” it. He fixed all my pics for me. I know this is lengthy but I am really into great customer service as I am a manager in the health field. This guy was absolutely exceptional!!! Treat him well, as he treats your customers great!!!!! Just found his name Jason, on my receipt , at the Sault Ste. Marie store.

Terrible. I’ve used Walgreens every time my insurance comes to it senses and comes back to Walgreens and the app instead of improving it just gets worse and the text alert from the actual computer generated pharmacy app well, let’s just say every improvement is a step farther away from the truth. . You get a alert saying fill time, so you call, not time, then it’s time and they either ( the app not employees it frustrates them too!) text and alert you a million times, you go to pick up it’s not even been put in! No, this doesn’t happen every time but in this day and time when we’re all busy trying to keep up with all the computer upgrades ( lol) let’s just say I don’t know what dictionary the powers that be have but, upgrades means a whole different thing in my dictionary maybe I should let the app powers that be borrow MY dictionary. And this no way reflects on the staff I feel terrible for them doing a job when the app needs ALOT of tweaking but, just as if the chef burns your steak at the restaurant it’s the wait person who gets less tip and more mouth time from customer while chef hides in kitchen. Well, enough of my rant it’s just frustrating as all (you know what)happier day to all and to the app tweakers try again cause it ain’t workin😥

Terrible and almost unusable. Why does Walgreens have to change this app all the time? It is very frustrating that a good app keeps changing and becoming more difficult to use. It used to be so simple to select photos and send them to Walgreens to be printed. This process has become so difficult, it is almost not even worth the trouble. When you want to select photos, no dialog comes up to chose them from your Device. You have to kill the Walgreens app every time just to try to select pictures. Then it wants to crop every picture incorrectly — even if you turn off the cropping feature and have cropped your pictures correctly for 4x6 in the Photos app. Then you have to agree at least three times to your order, each time looking for some grayed out switch or button that you are supposed turn on. It is very hard to find what to do. Then the UI is so unresponsive that when you finally found the control to click, nothing happens. You click it over and over and over in frustration and then suddenly the “Submit” button becomes available. This app is garbage! Bring back the one from a year ago or more when things just worked fine. This supposed update is a true failure.

Lockhart Pharmacy. I use Walgreens pharmacy to fill EVERY script we use! I must say that adds up to over 10 prescriptions per month ,if not 15. My family has used every other pharmacy in Lockhart and until we started using Walgreens, picking up a script was a DREADED errand! Long wait times....even longer pick up lines. It seemed no matter how many times I updated our information something was wrong. It has been nice NOT having these issues with Walgreens. Our prescriptions are always ready in a reasonable amount of time. We are individually notified when to pick up or if there is an issue that may need to be addressed. We have gotten to know the entire staff and are greeted personally upon arrival. The pharmacists are very thorough in making sure there are no possible drug interactions. My husband has several serious medical issues and medication changes occur often! We all feel at ease with Dan & Brenda in charge! The entire staff is knowledgeable and I just can not say enough good things about each one. We were even taken care of while OUT OF STATE. So kudos to you all at the pharmacy in lockhart. The Kelly Family thanks you

So buggy to the point that it’s almost useless. This app is the worst. It used to be great, but all of the changes they’ve made over the past 6 or so months have made it so buggy that it’s barely useable. For the past several months, I’ve been unable to use Walgreens Express to order my prescriptions for delivery- despite the fact that the prescriptions are fully eligible. I have to instead call the store to have them do it manually. I’m completely unable to do it on both the app and on the website from my laptop or phone. It’s hit or miss if the app even properly loads my medication status. It doesn’t always submit refill requests for me. Now, most recently, I can’t even get the app to sign me in! It’s just been saying “service unavailable” for the better part of a week. How am I supposed to use this to manage my medication when it’s so horrendously unreliable. If you’re going to overhaul an app that people rely on for medical reasons, you need to have better testing in place to make sure that it’s stable. Update: It’s been broken for months. I still can’t use the app for basic things. I’ve decided to delete the app and just stick to calling the store instead. It takes way longer and is infinitely less convenient because Walgreens’ phone systems are awful too, but at least the people who work at my pharmacy know what they’re doing and are used to hearing customers say that the app and website don’t work anymore, so they’re happy to accommodate.

Good and bad. I’ve used Walgreens photo app for a few years now. It’s convenient and fairly easy to navigate. However, most times it takes FOREVER to upload, which is an issue if your phone sleeps before its finished. The color is typically good and photos are clear, which is why I gave three stars. My biggest issue is that so much of the picture is cut off each time. I’ve been told to go to the crop option and adjust the edges, but it still doesn’t help. For example, a few of my students wanted a selfie of us. We knew those on the edges would have a tiny bit cut off, but on the original it’s a little hair not in the frame. Even after checking the crop feature to make sure the frame was as large as possible, it cut the people off on each side so much that we each had half a face! Seriously, it went from being fully in the picture (minus a little hair), to each of us having the entire side of our faces, including one eye and half a nose, completely gone. My six year old students have been very disappointed. This has been an ongoing issue with multiple photos. Walgreens employees have not been successful in helping, so something needs done farther up in the co. Lastly, why can’t an order be saved, so if it glitches everything isn’t lost? Again tonight I spent over an hour editing over a hundred photos. When I clicked next it glitched and was gone. Because of this, I changed it to two stars. This has happened WAY too many times.

Walgreens doesn’t know how to keep my monthly Perscription in stock. It’s pretty sad I get My Prescription every month and it’s too early to drop off the prescription so I set a reminder to drop my monthly prescription on The 15th of every month. I use a paper script because if my dr sends my prescription electronically at my monthly appointment it’s too early and Walgreens rejects it so when the 15th comes around (that’s when The Walgreens Pharmacist they told Me I can drop off the script each month) If I come on the 14th they can’t take my paper prescription so I have to come back and try again. When I came in on the 15th of this month they said I would have to come back on the 17th. I called today and they still don’t have my script that I’ve been on for close to 20 years. I ask myself is Walgreens really that operationally dumb in supply chain management that they can’t predict that I will need my meds on the 15th? It’s not a non linear equation it’s simple to predict that I will need my meds on the 15th of every month. I already brought my other prescriptions to Walmart in Delray because Walgreens in Boca Raton on Clintmoore and Military further screws my prescription up and can’t tell Me when they will have it. It’s weak that they can’t predict that I will need My Prescription even though I get it in the 15th of every month for years. If they can’t tell Me when they will have it soon. I will have to reward Walmart with My Business instead.

Photo. I use this app mainly for photos. Some of the time, works great. Uploading photos though has got to be thee most frustrating task through this app. When I have an album of 100, I want to be able to just go in and quickly and smoothly upload these without waiting by my phone for 45 mins so it doesn’t time out while uploading, only to find 15 photos uploaded after you’ve finally given up. Having to go back in your albums and try to figure out which 15 of those 100 pictures that was.... So annoying. I give up. I would like to also see a way to delete albums. With the trouble of uploading I often try to start over with a new album in another attempt to successfully upload without having to figure out which ones uploaded out of my album and didn’t. So, with multiple attempts, I end up with multiple albums. This has been an ongoing issue for quite a while, that I would think would be important to fixing as it really affects the experience with this app.

Horrible!. It took me 1.5 hours to add 6 items to my cart because the updated app kept making me log in over and over and over again. Pain in my ***! THEN, I go to check out and....... “sorry, an error has occurred, please try again later.” Also, wouldn’t let me search for items. Didn’t show in my savings at checkout the $9+ in “rewards” that I’d accumulated. If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. This frustration might actually be enough to keep me from coming back. Used to love ya..... ****UPDATE.....I’ve been trying for 4 days to to place my online order. I can’t remove items from the cart and navigating is all over the place. I can’t “attempt “ to place my order again when I need to remove items from my cart and it refuses to let me. I got fed up. I’m housebound and depended on you for years to get items delivered to me. I just finished placing the majority of my order with a competitor. I prefer your items as they are packed nicely and are clean..... but your new app update pushed me to a point. I NEED items and your app wouldn’t allow me to purchase them. You lost my order. I’ll try one more time in a week for a few other items. If you don’t have your app fixed, I’m done with it. Who needs this kind of stress? I’m not going to jump through hoops and spend 4 days trying to get YOU to take MY money.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING ??? Fix These Issues Please AS Soon As Posible. How come sometimes I can’t order my prescription on the app or through the website despite I still have refills left before the expiration due date? How come it’s hard to ask for refills & order for prescription when I’m running out of it in a few days or in very next day since you won’t allow me to order my prescription early??? For the first time I made an account on this app, but why it won’t let me change & secure the password also it doesn’t really inform me and confirm if the prescription is ready or not on time. Sometimes the app informs me about the prescription is ready however we received a call saying it’s not ready for pick up yet. So we had to call Walgreens for real confirmation without the confusion and hassle. Now (August 2022) it says sorry fails to load & process your order in the app & website so please fix this issue/problem as well as I really would appreciate it so much if I can possibly order my prescription/s without any problems whatsoever same for getting it picked up when I need it /& when I’m able to stop be at the pharmacy to get it. Please fix these issues asap. Thank you. Take care every staff at Walgreens.

Photo section needs work. This review is only about the Photo section of the app. There has to be a better way to submit a photo order. After going through all my pictures and selecting them in various sizes, I never made it past the review order screen because it took over an hour to “prepare and upload photos”. It doesn’t let you submit the order without going through this process of uploading and preparing the photos and there’s no indication of how long this process might take. I don’t understand if you’ve always uploaded them to the website yourself in order to select them, why do they need to get uploaded again? I did have a large number of pictures but I don’t understand how it can take over an hour to just sit there and stare at a loading screen. And if you venture away from the app, it only takes longer. Essentially rendering the rest of your phone is unusable until this process completes. I had to cancel my order and do it on the computer instead. Which is annoying because most of the pictures are on my phone, so it’s now extra work for me. There has to be a better way.

Disappointed. I have not used Walgreens for over 6 years but I just moved to an area where I could not use Publix pharmacy, so I went back to using Walgreens. I signed up for the app, and while I thought I ordered prescriptions through it, none had been ordered. Not only that, but the app changed my home pharmacy on it’s own and my prescriptions move from pharmacy location to pharmacy location- making it difficult for me to pick up what I need when I need it. And recently, I went in to get a prescription that is always refrigerated and it was not refrigerated. Well the technician took it to the pharmacist, who read something that said it could be kept un-refrigerated for up to 7 days. I’m about to spend $150 on an RX - I want it to be the correct one and potent- not “maybe it will still work after it has been unrefrigerated.” Unacceptable. Come on, Walgreens. They should have apologized- told me it was their mistake and they would have one to me ASAP sent over from another store!!! That is how you treat a customer!! I’m very disappointed!!

Horrible Threatening Pharmacy Staff. I called about some of my prescription and was told they would be filled on the 17th. Then I was told when I went in that they would not be filled till the 18th. They said we can fill a prescription 28 day from the date you last received your last prescription which was September 20th. 28 day later would be the October 17th… Not October 18th. When I was confused they were rude and unprofessional and the pharmacy manager threatened to hold my prescriptions for 30 days when Im being tested for Multiple Sclerosis and have fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease, Lumbar Radiculopathy, Anemia and the list can go on. You don’t tell someone one thing and then just change a date for medications cause you feel like it and threaten a customer to hold there prescriptions. I am so angry because who does someone think they are to threaten someone who needs their medication and be rude because they made a mistake and all you want to do is understand what is going on! I would Not recommend this pharmacy because they apparently just do whatever they like and if you have questions they threaten not to give you your medication! And I hope they read this but they probably won’t cause doesn’t seem like they care about their customers. Evelyn Pullman

Long time customer. Today I took my almost 90 year old mom to pick up her medicine due to a call from the Ellenville Walgreens and walked to the pharmacy section when this heavy set lady ask how can she help little did we know she was going to be the worst part of our visit, her attitude was very poor and when we asked for further information regarding the medication her response was that she wasn’t there to keep track of my mothers medication. We were very frustrated and confused as to why this person even worked with the public if she was so bothered by our questions? She needs to go this is the second time we have this issue and we haven’t been to the store in years and her attitude is stilll the same my question is simple why are the managers and supervisors allowed to hire these people and let them get away with treating their customers in this manner. Please help us to get this person out of the Ellenville Walgreens. I will be calling the manager which by the way wasn’t present when this occurred, but his name is Stephen so we will reach out to him soon.

This app has so many glitches that make it almost impossible to use!. I use the app for almost all of its functions (clip coupons, refill prescriptions, pick up orders, photo products, you name it) and I have a problem with SOMETHING every single time. I consider myself to be comfortable with technology and find the app to be easily understandable and convenient, however, the glitches and other issues with the app is why I’m giving 3 stars. The specific problems I’ve faced are products disappearing from my pick up order (it says “[product] is not available at this time and has been removed from your cart”) even though it says it’s available for pick up at my selected store, photos being cut off at the edges after I’ve used the crop tool (it prints differently than what it shows on the app), photos taking forever to upload, and clipped coupons not being applied at the register. Another problem I have (that I’ve noticed is more recent) is that register rewards will not print if you do a pick up order. I’m almost to the point of leaving Walgreens altogether because of how much of a hassle it all is!

Some features do not work. Several weeks ago I was about to go out of town and one of my meds would I would be put. The app asked why I was requesting an early refill and I chose - travel and or vacation. The refill was lost and communication between Walgreens and the doctors and myself was nothing but a ping pong ball. When i called Walgreens I was told ‘i don’t know’. After escalating the situation with the hospital patient advocacy group did i receive a phone call from the medical provider supervisor of patient advocacy. Not once did i hear or get an answer from walgreens or the doctors office. I was told ‘system glitch’ - i still had to request a new prescription when it was easty to see i had one left. Needless to say i was already out of town and the scrip could not be fulfilled except at my home Walgreen’s. After continued escalations and calls, i finally received my order. Walgreens has fallen way down in customer service and i understand - pandemic, worker shortages. The problem is this is the 3rd time this has happened. zero follow up and quick to get the customer awat or off the phone or out of the driveway. patients should not have to do the legwork - period! i welcome a call from walgreens as i am a professional and could share some valuable insight.

Worst app I’ve ever used. So many issues to even list ! But I’ll start with not being able to clip coupons which is why I got this app thinking I could clip them and use them in the store. The app even shows I clipped a coupon but when in the store it doesn’t show up on their register after I put my number in. I even call Walgreens 800 and the CSR said she didn’t even see my coupon I was trying to use but I could see it on my app ?! Showed the cashier in store but she said even though she can see it on my app that I clipped it she can’t apply it so I couldn’t use . She said it would have to show on her register when I put my number in to pay. I’ve called twice about problems with this app . The CRS said the only way I could use my coupon was to buy the item in store then call her back and she’d give the difference back on my Walgreens points but I’m not doing that I shouldn’t have too this app should work like it’s supposed to . I also get an error when I open the app about my points not able to load them so it’s useless really and I’m probably just gonna to delete this app nothing works the way it should. Idk know who’s supposed to fix this app with so many errors and not being able to clip and use coupons in the store or see how many points I have available ? Yes I linked everything with this app too when I first called them about my points not being in the app and she said she fixed it . 🙄 🤦‍♀️

Re. I have been going to Walgreens more frequently since my great-grandson was born 2 months ago so I’ve had ALOT of pictures to print from my phone and they ALWAYS have an employee helping me and showed me how to do it with the app on my phone. I did so a few days ago and didn’t hear back and when I looked at my phone it said the app stopped working but saved my order so I just re-submitted it and hope it’s not a double order. One more thing I want to mention that the last time I was there I believe the person that helped me was one of the managers (wish I could remember his name) and I was having a little trouble with the development from my phone and when I asked for help he came over and stayed with me for me to complete my order AND I forgot about the advertisement for a discount but he told me to wait and he inputted the discount which was 40% which brought my order down to the $20’s!! The sale of other items is always great. Walgreens on Firestone and Lakewood have me for LIFE!! Thank you Walgreens 😄😄💙💙

I never review, but. I have used this app forever but this current version is bad and don’t blame COVID-19 like everyone else. 1) I only use it for prescriptions, to order and to check status. All I need is prescription name, doctor, quantity, last fill date, refills available until which date, date available for refill. Put this on one page so I do not have to hunt for it. Let me refill it from that location. 2) Also, the last 3 prescriptions magically have had auto refill turned on. Auto refill has had problems in the past, I do not use it. 3) I needed to update my credit card for Express Pay. Cannot find it anywhere. Search cannot find it either. 4) Recent doctor visit, had prescription renewed, sent electronically. When I needed to fill prescription app accepted order but never processed it. Tried 3 times. Had to go to store. 5) Would have commented using app but could not find how, so I tell the world. 6) All these concerns here used to work and were available in previous versions of app. Changing apps should make things easier. When I managed programmers I used the most inept, simple person I could find to test the program. If they could understand and use it, we placed it in production. I was not that person. 7) When you lookup a store location it does not tell you when it opens and closes also the pharmacy hours are not shown. If you look after something is closed the app says “closed” and not when it reopens.

Prescription bias. I have been filling prescriptions at Walgreens for at least 15 years. I’ve had the same insurance the entire time. All my info is the same. It was simple for everyone. I travel for work and I could get my prescriptions filled anywhere in the entire country. Blood pressure meds, cholesterol, the occasional antibiotic. Simple no problems. My Suboxone prescription. Problems. Always problems. Not in every state, it depends on the pharmacist. First all the questioning and delays. Not once have I ever tried to fill early but there’s always a problem. I see my doctor every 4 weeks, she sends in my script, my insurance approved it, and the pharmacist delays it. This month they tell me since I was 2000 miles away and didn’t pick up the second they filled it, I have to wait the amount of days I didn’t pick up after they filled it. Sometimes they try to do the math and tell me I should have x amount left and I need to wait another x amount of days. Sometimes it’s just delayed for no reason. I’m home one day to see my doctor and pick up my script. I can’t. No real reason, just the one the pharmacist decides. Wait 3 more days. Well I have to go back to work. They fill my cholesterol medication before I even ask. It’s a shame, the app works great and Walgreens is everywhere and they have all my info. I’m done playing games with Walgreens. I will never fill another prescription or step foot in a Walgreens ever again.

“Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices” not working. “Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices” hasn’t worked for several weeks... ever since iOS 11.3. Page won’t load. I’ve emailed Walgreens about it twice, but have yet to receive a reply. This whole “Healthy Choices” section is poorly coded anyway... very buggy and unreliable. e.g. The various activity apps don’t stay connected and/or don’t sync reliably (I periodically disconnect them, sometimes even delete and re-download, to get them to temporarily work again... I’ve tried at least 10 different recommended apps, all with same issues); the Walgreens apps always retrieves my ‘steps’ from my iPhone Health app yet oddly Never pulls in my blood pressure (I’ve even played with settings various ways to no avail). Also, general navigation on the app is clumsy. The back-arrow follows your cookie-crumb backwards rather than taking you directly ‘up’ one menu level (this would be fine IF you also offered a way to jump directly to the ‘home’ screen). In summary, I work in the technology Innovation industry so have evaluated, designed, and used many apps (mostly B2B vs B2C thou). And as a mainstream app, Walgreens’ is easily one of the worst!! I would suggest you learn from the likes of Walmart, Kohl’s, and Target if you wish to remain competitive in the mobile space!!!

Prescription part of app is faulty. I have tried to use the Walgreens app for several months now to manage my prescriptions. In theory, it should be easier than having to call in and input the prescription number etc. And it is easier—until the pharmacy keeps not filling things right, not having record of my request for a refill despite the email I got after I requested a refill On the app, having duplicate listings of Meds on my auto refill list —each with different refill dates and not maintaining my selections for auto refill. (If I have to go in and toggle the button on for auto refill each month, is it really auto refill?). I have been patient, as all apps have glitches here and there and i figured they were working out the bugs, but really it just gets worse and worse and i waste more time going to the store just to find my meds aren’t actually ready, despite an email telling me it’s ready for pick up. I am not wasting any more time with it. I will go back to clumsily managing meds over the phone because at least that was accurate. Let me know Walgreens, when you have a functional prescription app, because I’d love to try it out some day.

Photo is a hassle. I wanted to make a card stock photo card for my friends birthday. After uploading the pictures, filling in and deciding on the text, and signing the card (more on that later) I selected the premium card for 3.99. It alerts me that this premium style card is not available at my selected Walgreens store. I decided it would be worth two extra minute drive to get the card from another Walgreens store. The problem is, in order to select a different store, the only way to get back to the Home Screen is by “starting over”. This means that I had to go through the whole design process again. Eventually, I just made dummy cards until I located a store that could print the premium style card. This could have been fixed by allowing customers to “save” projects. Secondly, Walgreens template allows you to hand sign the card using your finger. There is no zoom in or eraser options to help you clean up any finger signing mishaps! This means that if you don’t like how you signed one letter, you have to restart the signature over from the beginning. I was signing several names. It would have been better if I could have erased my mistakes or been able to zoom to write a little more precisely. This was not an option. I like the quality of the photo product overall, but I think the app needs work.

Something to add. This is my continued review after using the app for a while, maybe a year or longer... I love the app & I love being able to add coupons to my account & just entering my phone number at the checkout & watching the amount drop!... That being said, I have had some issues lately with the coupons not being subtracted & then my “Members only bonus points” not showing up. When I try to go on the app & add a transaction to get my bonus points, it’s already been processed...but what happened to my bonus points?!? The store employees are no help in this area & they only tell me to contact the customer service number on the back of my card. I’m not sure why it works only sometimes but doesn’t work the other time... I have discovered the Points for Healthy choices option, though. I love this & using it certainly is encouraging to get moving & check my blood pressure & many more action to encourage more healthy habits! LOVE IT! But please fix the issue with the bonus points. Thank you! J. Rasmussen

Old location continues to fill meds. I have recently moved out of state. The old Walgreens location is still attempting to fill meds, despite my provider sending scripts to the new location. Once they mess with the scripts for controlled substances, the new location requires me to obtain a new script from my provider. I don’t know how to make this stop. I have been filling meds at the new location since December and I have updated my information on the app, in store and again my provider is sending scripts to the new location. I’m about to change locations, as I don’t have time to deal with this nonsense every single month. Currently I am out of a medication and it has said “in progress” on the app for days. I am beyond frustrated with this situation. They also take it upon themselves to fill meds that I have not requested, as I do not yet need them. I’ve never dealt with such a mess from Walgreens and I don’t intend to deal with it much longer! Between the pharmacy and the express scripts, I absolutely understand why patient medication compliance is so low. Unnecessary barriers are created one after another by the entities that should be encouraging compliance.

Auto Refill. I love this app, it makes it convenient to refill my meds easily. But auto refill always gets turned on! I had it on because it had been convenient. But then they’d start sending me refills four days before I need it, giving me extra, but then it’d refill again 30 days after the last refill. So eventually, I’d have a month supply stocked up and I’d be sent even more! So I turned auto refill off for all my prescriptions because I’ll handle refilling them myself. No problem. But now every time any med gets filled, it turns the freaking auto refill option back in! Each and every GD time! I know it’s a small task to change it, but now I can’t refill one med because it was on auto refill to be sent home (I prefer to pick it up in person, I don’t want my meds stolen). I turned auto refill off for that and changed my setting to always pick up in store. But now I can’t refill that one because it still thinks it’s being mailed even after the feature was turned off, because it was already sent to be filled. So irritating! Please include a “remember this selection for future prescriptions” option! And make it actually work!

Unfriendly app!. I see people rating the new app version based on their use of the photo part but this new version is not user friendly in regards to the other navigation functions. I always wonder do these app developers try these updates from the customers angle. Too many clicks to get to the order online screen, trying to find the digital coupons to attach, trying to find discount codes, the jumping from online order screen to the ad. Then the app crashes and I have get out and start over again....then try and remember how to get back to where I left off before the crash! It’s becoming not worth the hassle. Then I start to use their online ordering just to find out that they don’t /won’t ship a lot of the items. And if you want to ship your order you better make sure your order is $35 or more to avoid the shipping fee!!! (Yet, a lot of things don’t ship)!!! With 2 Walgreens in my neighborhood I’ll just go into the store as I’ve always done and avoid the app and it’s online ordering or, just go to CVS, which is just across the street from Walgreens!

Prescription platform. If I could give a zero I would. The New App updated process is completely & utterly a mess. Disappointing & frustrating to say the least. Ongoing months with this migration with the platform & numerous updates that have failed. The pharmacy section has taken the worse turn ever & I really don’t have any confidence in the improvement @ this point. It doesn’t keep accurate tally of my refill amounts (so I don’t have to notify the doctor for refill submittals to the pharmacy which is a major task for approvals) redundant or missing prescriptions from the app. All my prescriptions have become delayed or NEVER notified to the pharmacy to become a working order/lost in the system/have to do everything @ the counter/refund my manufacturer discounts that’s also applied in addition to my insurance coverage discounts (they somehow how frequently lose the attachment record in the system & have to rework the invoice in the store/reprint new ones. Can’t pay in advance so I can just pick up - still end up swiping in the store when my payment authorization is on record in the store along with my rewards card info. These prescriptions are time sensitive to be filled (people’s lives in jeopardy being off some medications). This should have had a major team working on this after months of online testing to correctly migrate. I don’t have any confidence @ this point after months of this monotony.

Awful! Horrific trickery within this app!. Add all your coupons, check the local adds, and then double check because there's no way your going to get that good a deal! Realizing your accurate you rush out the door to the amazing Walgreens you shop at nearly everyday. When you arrive they have everything you need and more so you end up easily spending $200. (Note: It still is the sales that made you come in but your saving so much you feel there's no way you can afford to not get extra) Your coupons will not work at the end, the cashier, assistant and general manager will not be able to help and customer service will almost always condescendingly call you a thief. If it's not hard enough to call feeling completely petty then we have to listen to their foulness. APPALLED! All over a $10 coupon that's advertised a thousand times in your store. This was my favorite store and it's very very saddening to know I now must shop at four new stores in order to compensate for my once beloved Walgreens. This is seriously upsetting as I truly loved my Walgreens and all the employees too. Everyone there knows me and treated me so wonderfully and remembering my boys but I cannot continue to be treated like this and let it go any longer. I'm sorry to say I will not return to Walgreens this time because it has gone far enough and clearly isn't going to stop.

Please fix this. I have been a faithful Walgreens customer for years. I have also used the app for a couple/few years, mostly for handling prescriptions and photo orders. After today, I will no longer use the app for navigating prescription refills. After repeatedly requesting a refill on a daily maintenance medication over the past several days, the app indicated that specific medicine was “filled”. However upon arriving at the pharmacy to pick up the medicine, I was told it was not filled because the doctor requires an appointment be made. When I called the doctor to make that appointment and get approval on that refill authorization, I was told the message had been conveyed to Walgreens days ago and multiple times that an office visit was required. Nowhere on my account in the app does it say that. If it had, I would not have wasted days repeatedly requesting refills and a trip to the pharmacy to find out. Why is a message about a required office visit in order for a refill to be given not communicated on the app if the pharmacy is aware of the situation?! Please do something to add that message or other communications Walgreens has from the doctor to truly make the prescription part of the app useful?

Customer service is terrible. I was buying gloves in the store they didn’t have a price on them I scanned them with the barcode reader on the app only to find out that the barcode is only for corporate and the store and corporate are two different things they consider even this they are both banned Walgreens they have nothing to do with each other online the item scanned the same price as corporate and it said the store had item in stock however the store will not give the 7 dollar price will charge you 100% mark up I called to find out and was hung up on all my calls I have been going to Walgreens since I worked at the hospital round the corner almost 30 yrs just like they say they are open 24hrs but call ahead 1st they no longer stay open 24hrs due to staffing which is hard on the steady traffic that store gets from the hospital don’t bother with this app or the store in Mountain View California neither one of them work they closed down a perfectly amazing store with drive through to keep a very small store open with no drive thru or steady hours of operation life is too short find a better pharmacy and download an app u can depend on

Cancelling an order. I am very unhappy with my experience with Walgreens app and response time on December 23. My order was placed at 10:54 AM. I received no text or email confirming my order, so after about 30 minutes, I decided to go to the store and buy the items I wanted. Then, at 11:56 AM, I received an email stating “There’s been a delay in your order.” At 12:22 PM, I received an email that there had been an adjustment to my order and at 12:23, I received an email stating my order was ready for pick up. By then, I’d already finished shopping at the store. I tried to figure out a way to cancel my order in the Walgreens app, but couldn’t do it, so I called the number in the email but couldn’t get through. I tried a number of times to call the store where I was to pickup my order, but couldn’t get through. Around 7 PM, I decided to go to the store to see if someone could help. The worker was very helpful in helping me cancel my order. Suggestion: Please make it easier to view and cancel an order in the app.

Prescriptions. Your app is just impossible to work with. I am tempted to change companies just because of this. Why do medications drop off of the portal when there are no refills left? Why does the scan not work when there are no refills left? All doctors tell their patients to request the refill through their pharmacy, but your app makes that impossible? What about controlled substances? Why can’t we see the last time we filled the controlled substance prescription? Why isn’t that medication even included in the refill history? Your app has so many holes in it that you should just start over. Ever since you updated it a year or so ago, it contains incorrect information and has been impossible to work with. We can’t even see the doctors name anymore that prescribed the medication so that we know we are asking for a refill of the correct medication, and then if you request an old doctors refill by mistake, your app just constantly texts us telling us it can’t be refilled. Can you not fix these things? If you need someone to tell your IT department where they have failed you, tell them to call me. Or better yet, ask your pharmacists who now have to field hundreds of phone calls each day because your app does not work properly.

Getting better. App was great then bad a while. Much improved recently but there seems to be a disconnect with the store. Recent example is a text telling me I needed to pick up by the 4th. I planned to pick up the third. I could not message the pharmacy through the app. Possible user fault. It got put back on the third and I had to reorder. More work for staff. Feel like the 4th should be relayed to the store. Also frequently get texts that there is a problem right after the text it is ready? Heroes work there. Walgreens employees in Clermont have gone way above and beyond in kindness to and helping with getting Florida DCF to finally step in and help my elderly mother. I tried two years and it took her going into Walgreens and throwing stuff off the shelf to make it happen. Now she finally has a case worker that didn’t just close her case because she knew her own name and has been to a doctor and has hospice help. Through the kindness of someone in healthcare that cared enough to make extra effort. App still has a couple of flaws but people make business excellent. Kudos on excellence of the people and corporate choices to start valuing their employees over putting a store on every corner. Hopes Florida will consider the model and reform their elder care policies. Knowing your own name is a low bar if it results in hitting a pedestrian or vandalizing a store to get help.

Looks great, not user-friendly at all. Since the upgrade, the app doesn’t allow me to check off progress on my selected healthy choice challenges. I communicated the issue and provided the very specific details that were requested, to be forwarded to IT. That was 2 weeks ago. Nothing has changed, yet. I can access the challenges on my Chromebook, but had a difficult time locating how to access them on the website. Today, I placed an order for contact lenses. It must have taken me over an hour. I had to keep going back and forth between the app and the website because neither would process the order once the items were in the cart. I wanted to upload the doctor’s prescription, but .pdf’s are not accepted. Why???? So, back to my phone. Two options were available - upload from photos or take a photo at that time. I tried both methods, but neither was successful. So, I had to skip that advantage. Then when I entered the credit card information at checkout, it did not process, stating I needed to call them. Nope! I attempted a different card’s info., which was finally accepted. (There was no account-based reason for the 1st card not being accepted.) Why would developers release a new website and app that hadn’t been “tested” to assure that all aspects worked? FYI: I use an iPhone SE 2020 and an HP Chromebook 2019. Come on, Walgreens! You can do better!!

Stunningly Abysmal App. This app has profound problems on two fundamental levels. First, it regularly just doesn’t work. For instance, today I can’t log in - FaceID spins and recognizes my face, but the app won’t accept the login. It also doesn’t give me a manual way to enter my login info, so I can’t use the app. These sorts of errors occur on a regular basis. Second, their UX team should be taken to a barn and tied up for at least six months without any ability to change the user interface. I have had iPhones since the iPhone 4, and I have never seen an app that changes their UI as often as this. As a result of their continued attempts to “refine” the app, they perversely make it more difficult to use, because they move core functionality around. I beg of you - please establish a consistent design flow for key actions, like refilling a family member’s prescription, and then leave it that way for at least 6 months. After 6 months, leave it that way for another 6 months. And so on. If you have to make under the hood changes, fine, but stop messing with the UI. People are using the app because, in many cases, they are sick. They just want this stuff to work. UPDATED review to (a) comment that I still can’t log in (FaceID works fine on every other app) and (b) point out that the developer support link in App Store points to to a dead link on their website. Truly atrocious app.

They give express pick up and take it away at random. This feature was huge for me. It meant everything because I am too ill to wait in the long lines there and it was just great the one time I used it. I went back & the option is gone. I talked with someone on chat told me it was randomized feature. Walgreens randomly chooses who to give express pickup to and who they will take away from. I don’t even see where random has any place in user friendliness or customer care. Or patient care. With The exception of trials. In all the apps I’ve ever tried, and there have been many, I have never seen any developer, especially working with medicine, to randomly implement & remove features like this to people. Perhaps this developer has no idea how important not having to wait in a long line when you’re really sick Development is not a game, at least not for the developers that I speak with who’s apps I’m happy to use. I wish I weren’t sick so that I could articulate more clearly just how this never happens. Congratulations, you’re the first to play with your customers and willing to gamble tens of thousands of dollars a year by doing so. Done with your store and app because you know two little about pharmacies care and about building apps for people. Walgreens always has trouble connecting the dots.

Update to include Photo Order Status. The app could be better by allowing you to have access to photo order information/history. I do like the app for prescription status. Why can’t they do the same for photos. I don’t even know if my order is processed or even ready. I placed photo order from my iPhone XsMax at 900am. I received email but never received text or email that order was ready. I called the store at 12:14pm to confirm the order. Many times the store says the system gets backed up and can’t download the photos. I should not have to call store to confirm order. I couldn’t even find and record of my order on this app. I think Walgreens trying to consolidate things on the app but I have to go thru many steps (even logged on to the website) to find or locate info. #hassle. Thinking that my order didn’t get processed, I resent the photo order to another Walgreens. Update: When I called the lady at my neighborhood Walgreens said the order was ready but the tag printed on the photos says 12:14pm which was the same time I called. The second Walgreens photo order was processed and ready in 15-20 minutes. All I just ask is that the Walgreens app be updated to include photo order status. I hate being in a rush and stop at my neighborhood Walgreens and they tell me that the photo machine is backlogged because it can’t download the photo orders. #2019not1999

Pharmacy. The pharmacy at this location is very very bad. From long lines, long waits to get medication filled to employees getting into shouting matches with you. The store manager seems very unconcerned about what is happening at this store. The cosmetic department has friendly and professional employees. This app is ok. The only problem I have is adding family members. After adding a family, It ask if you want to check on scripts for family members click yes and get your information. I get my information only not the family member. Can't find a way to get to family member at all. The pharmacist here yelled at me and said you’re getting your medicine from some where else, the medicine is pain medication for chronic pain. This person’s name is Sunday I notified the manager of the store. I’m waiting now for pain meds to come in it had to be ordered. My name and phone was written by pharmacy tech. She’ll call me when it comes in 7to 12 days, I took last pill already. It’s so sad that I have to suffer for something others are doing! ! Thanks Walgreens for taking actions . Keep up the good work!!

Satisfaction with Walgreens on James Street in Chicopee MA. I have been using this pharmacy for years now. I have always been treated with the utmost respect, professionalism, and care. Although most of the people in the pharmacy have all been helpful, there’s definitely 1 pharmacist that has consistently gone above and beyond for me every time I have a prescription that may run into some problems. Sometimes it may be an insurance issue, or a prescription not being correct, or pretty much anything else that you can think of going wrong. Missy is an amazing pharmacist who tries to rectify any problems that pop up. I just recently found out that she is being transferred soon to another Walgreens Pharmacy. I am so sure that the Walgreens Pharmacy that she is going to, will be incredibly thankful for her skills, experience, work ethic and her ability to be so helpful and gracious to the people she will be working with, and the clients that cross her path. I have to admit that I am very disappointed that I will be losing such a wonderful person. I am disabled and at the moment I do not have my own vehicle. If I had my own transportation, I would not hesitate to fallow her!! Thank you for your time. Karen Schmalenberg

No good for regular medication and can’t cancel auto refill in app. I have a few medications on auto refill, even after I turned them back on, there are many problems - inventory is not checked in advance of the day I need to pick up medication. On my more obscure medication, every month on the day it needs to be filled , I get a notif that “medication is out, will order more soon” - Walgreens knew I wanted this for a month, I don’t understand why it couldn’t be ordered the week before. neither the app nor the pharmacist if I call is able to give me any eta for when my medication is in - the app also directs you to “get this sooner at another store”, so I tried that and one day later the second pharmacy also messages me that it’s out of stock - why does your app prompt me to move prescriptions to a store that also does not have inventory - finally, the behavior for out of refills is weird. The medication just says “submitted “ for days on end, and I had to call my pharmacy to understand why. It would be super great to get a notif saying my prescription is out of refills so I can call my dr quickly instead of having to do a mini investigation earlier All in all the app doesn’t really change the number of times I have to call the pharmacist which doesn’t make it particularly useful outside of being a record of the last time I picked each medication

In accurate on Prescription Refills.. Walgreens has huge flaws with filling/refilling medications online. Now, let’s look to see if your prescription(s) by touching any of the the medication(s) you’re looking at. Using the Walgreens online fill/refill application. It tells you if your medication is due for a refill or not. Well that’s completely a joke. When I go through my medicines to see which ones need to be filled and which aren’t available to be filled. It’s one of worst inaccurate systems I’ve known of. When I check the prescription(s) that Walgreens notifies me prescriptions are up for refill. But, when I order those medications that say they are able to be filled that’s not always true. Well when you use that flawed system, most of the medications aren’t going to even be ready to be filled. What a joke. Then in my Walgreens account i get a lot of messages that say the medication information isn’t available. So it just says unavailable. The information it does show is the Doctors name. But, not the last medication refill date. So how is someone supposed to know when to fill or refill a prescription with little to no information?

Easy to use. Great app, easy to use and access to awesome coupons

Worth the money. This app is truly worth the money. Well thought out and user friendly...

Good. Good

Update Needed. Needs update ASAP! So slow and the app quits on me all the time

Unsatisfactory. Paper quality is poor All the pics were stuck together The guy who handled the pics left a big thumb print on the first picture as he was not wearing gloves yet the cashier was wearing gloves go figure

Australian retailers have a lot to learn. Fantastic app with passbook integration already. Australian retailers/app makers take note!

good app but needs improvement. list of products on sales/discounts are updated & sends email reminders which is great. But seems slow when I search for store location or available items to buy in w/c store- quicker to browse the shelves instead. it would be great if I'm able to make a separate list of the items which store it's found. I also prefer a separate feature for online only and store only purchase to save time browsing the app. Otherwise good.

Walgreens app. This is by far one of the best pharmacy apps out there.

Average app. Average app

The Photo Manager. She, DANI, is a excellent worker & a sweetheart, but she seems overworked! Precious to have such a employee, hopefully she is well compensated!

Photos for dummies. Easy to use app for photo printing Great service

Great App!. Wonderfully for pictures when you live across the country. But it needs an app for video.

I love this app. I don't live near a Walgreens but use the app as backup to the Rxremindme app. It has features that no other app has (such as the "as needed" function that I like). Keep up the good work.

Love Walgreens online coupons! Best deal out there!. I

Photobook. The photobook app should be improved. The ability to edit and add longer captions should be fixed! This app only allowed me to edit - and add captions for only about 4 photos! Disappointing.

Love it!. Love seeing what's on sale and current coupons! Wish all grocery stores had their own app! Thanks!

Photos. Michele was awesome!

I love Walgreens and I love this app!. Certainly one of the better retail apps out there. Makes being a customer incredibly convenient.

Pretty good app. Pretty easy to use app that has many features (i only used the photo section). The only main drawback is that you cannot crop pictures that you only wanna print in 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10 format (you can with posters and canvas tho). If you really need this feature or photo edition, or you wanna do post cards, use the iPad version of this app.

Dad as. Hahahahahahhahaha

Great. Simple yet effective app. Nice way to check flier/sales before cross border shopping.

So easy. The app is simple to use and so efficient.

Great store app!. Compared to other store apps this one takes the cake. Easy navigation, zooms in and out easy and has all the info as their website. Love it!

Photos - Discount code. I used the app today to print 54 pictures. I was excited to use the discount code that was offered to me as soon I as accessed the photos section of the website (CHEERS-MBL). It said that this code could be used on « everything photo ». However, after placing my order, I was notified that this offer did not count for my order. I don’t understand why. I was printing regular pictures.

Good. The is great for pill reminder but not much of use as there are no stores in Toronto

Love it. I love this app. With this app I can do my shopping from my house. 😍

Retired. Store is always well stocked. Always find what we need. No need to go anywhere else. Love it!

Ilovedinosaurs. Potatoes.

Walgreens. Wish we had such photo developing convenience across the border. Love Walgreen's!

Too Many Glitches!. I use Walgreens for the convenience of the drive up. However, I’ve connected my elderly mother’s account to mine. They have somehow twisted it to where they are contacting her when it’s my medication that’s due and they’re contacting me when it’s her medication that to do. Just recently they sent a notice that my mom had to pick up her medication. I went on the app and canceled that prescription because I had picked up prescription that prescription a week before. The act is a nightmare to navigate at times. I stop prepaying because I noticed in my bank account that I was double charged two times. I just let it go because I did not want to have the headache of dealing with Walgreens. I’ve also stopped ordering items to be picked up at the store, because, although it says that the items are available, they are not. The navigation of the app is not user-friendly. My insurance company is trying to get me to use CVS but I’ve heard it’s just as much as a nightmare. I just wish Majoria Drugs was back.

Frustrating but can save you money WHEN it works. This app can save money, and the convenience of the digital coupons is really nice! I have noticed though, that a lot of coupons other people seem to get $12 off $40, 30% off when you spend $30, etc never show up for me. Literally NEVER. I have also noticed that certain high value coupons like the fairly recent $8 off Crest, etc rarely show up even if they are available for others. I’ve tried looking through categories, every available coupon, as well as searching for specific key words. I know sometimes there are probably special coupons that just show up for random or even just selected customers. That is fine. It’s just frustrating when I shop at Walgreens so much, to have literally never seen a percent off or a $ off total purchase coupons even when I see that everyone else has them. Would be nice to see the coupons everyone else seems to get.

Please fix your photo section!. I am never able to finish a photo order! The app crashes all the time. ALL. THE. TIME. This is SO frustrating to upload a 100 or more photos, take the time to go through each one to make sure nothing important is going to get cropped, then to change the quantities for some, and then have the app crash before I even finish with quantities and crop checking. Every time. Such a waste of my time. I am SO SICK of attempting. I have been a loyal Walgreens photo customer for years. Easily spending close to or maybe more than a $1000 a year on photos. I'm going to have to go elsewhere because I can NEVER get my order completed with this app. I used to upload my photo orders on mobile by just using the site (not the app), but the site got changed this year and now even that is a poor and frustrating photo experience. Please bring back the classic Walgreens mobile site/classic photo look for mobile. It was so easy and fast that way! This poor photo experience has greatly decreased my sales at Walgreens. I would have made at least 5 very large photo orders this summer but the app crashed at each attempt. Such a shame that I had to look into your competitors recently.

Exceptional service and speed. I had 2 life changing events happen within a month of each other. Both requiring pictures. My mom passed and my son graduating. I needed pictures for my picture board fur my mom first as well as my sisters, so we were sending pictures between our phones to use for the boards and my location allowed me to get the pictures the quickest. I swear I was going to Walgreen 3-4 one week. They were phenomenal when I did my order(s) through the app and it was complete WAAAAY before the email/text stated. My life was less stressed knowing I had the pictures I needed. Then, I get back from the funeral and realize I have started on my son’s announcements. I picked out a design and sent it through the website. Again, about a day and half later rather than a week) my invites were done. Needless to say Walgreen’s…..thank you for taking some stressful situations and making them easier to deal with! My business and referrals will always come to you. Thank you!

The app is great !. The employees in the pharmacy could not be nicer ! They are helpful and always nice ! Walgreens corporate needs to get them some help ! I do not remember the last time I called and was NOT sent directly to a recording that almost always says, “there are more than 3 callers ahead of you!” I get messages that say, “please call the pharmacy due to an issue with your prescription!” I call and have sat on hold for as much as ONE HOUR!!!!!!! It was important that I get thru to them as I was very sick and needed to get the medication started ASAP! I finally called and pushed the number to get thru as a doctor to just to get them to answer! Last week again same issue! Please call the pharmacy and stay on hold for forty minutes. I finally called the store manager in order to get thru to the pharmacy! I have been a Walgreens customer for years and do not want to switch, but am considering going elsewhere! Walgreens needs to offer a competitive wage in order to pay employees as much as it takes to give good customer service! The manager did mention they have trouble with their phones! If this is the case….. it needs to be resolved! Very frustrating! I recently had to call over 30 pharmacies to locate a medication! Every single place I called answered with no hold time or recordings. So it is a Walgreens issue specifically Norwood ! Nancy Allen

DO NOT USE SAME DAY DELIVERY. I ordered a same day delivery order through the Walgreens app with supplies for a recent back injury. The app promises delivery within 1-2 hours, but it has been nearly 8 hours and my order never arrived. When you call customer service they have no idea how to handle any issues related to same day delivery, and they had not even began packing my order when I called an hour after my expected delivery time inquiring about the order. The delivery itself is fulfilled by DoorDash, but since you purchase through Walgreens they are unable to help with any issues. For this particular order, DoorDash customer service told me that it appears as “delivered” on their end (but it never arrived) and that I needed to ask Walgreens for assistance. Walgreens customer service told me that DoorDash had picked up the order and that any issues need to be dealt with through DoorDash customer service. All in all, I never received my order, never received proper help with the issue, and spent 7 hours waiting for a desperately needed order that never arrived. Incredibly disappointed and would highly advise against using this service.

Pill reminder getting better again. I pretty much use this app for the medication reminders. After the update back in February completely wiped out all of the functionality, it has slowly become capable of things it once was. I like that I can once again edit times on my "missed" doses, when I have taken medications but forgot to tell the app I took them. And I am very grateful to be able to once again add 'as needed' and 'one-off' medications because that is what I need to track the most at this time. I can only take so much as needed medication in 24hours and OTC medication needs to be kept under a certain level as well. I like the fact that I could export and print my history if I wanted to bring it to my doctor, though I just tell him, it is a great tool for people like me who need to track how often they are having to take certain medications. Prior to the app I simply used my calendar which worked but was very difficult for retrieving the information later. Please keep moving in the right direction.

Pharmacy customer service. The pharmacy at Walgreens has the worst customer service. My insurance lapse in coverage. They did nothing to try to help me find coupons for my prescriptions. They used their prescription card. There is so many coupons out there and they did not lift a finger. The pharmacy at Albertsons on the other hand, went above and beyond, and found me the best coupon. I will no longer be getting my prescriptions at Walgreens. I am so disappointed because the convenience was nice, but it is not worth giving them my business. I know how strict Walgreens is on customer service, and they have failed greatly. There is also a young girl that started working in the Pharmacy that is so incredibly rude. I went in there to fill a prescription and I had several I was filling. She told me they did not have it. She did not tell me which one. rude and told me which one. She said nothing else, so I asked her if she could please call the pharmacy in Chubbuck, which they never have me ask they always just do it. She said to me that I would get the if I called rather than her having to call. That was the last straw with this Pharmacy.

Not working as well as it used to. I have been using this app for quite some time now. It used to be completely seamless, but now I have issues with every reorder of a standing prescription. Requesting the refills still seems to work just fine, but I actually have to call and talk to a person to verify that it is ready. I used to get notifications via text. Additionally, even their computerized answering system got the status of the prescription wrong. It said it was still in process and I had to get through to a person to actually verify that the prescription was ready. This is disappointing because I am one of those people that loves to take advantage of the easiest way to reorder, and it seems like such a waste of time to sit on hold, make them answer the phone, and then have them and look it up for me to get the correct information. I have no idea who to contact to figure out what went wrong.

RX Status & Health. Why did Walgreens change the “RX Status & Health” feature of this app??? I can no longer look at my past refills or new prescriptions and how much I paid for them or they will cost me when I go to pick them up. All you can do is refill from this section now. Prior to their latest update you could do both look at prior scripts, refills, how much you paid for each, and the date you refilled them, etc. Now all you can see is the last date you refilled or got a prescription and submit a refill. I hate this! The app is basically useless to me now. I used the features they took away very often. Why did they change this??? I have secured my account so there is no reason for them to change this feature the way they did. I won’t be using this app except to use my card to get points....oh wait, I don’t know if that feature has been changed so I better not say it’s the same or will even still work the same. Why Walgreens, why??????

Garbage. This app is terrible. I want to use it to refill prescriptions but it never works. I can’t believe that an organization like Walgreens can’t hire proper IT staff to figure out how to make a working app. Currently, not all of my active prescriptions are listed on the app, or online when I login to their website. So I can’t request refills. I just waited for 20 mins on the phone to try to request a refill and just hung up. I can’t believe how terrible their customer service is post-pandemic. Previously I tried to request they ship prescriptions to me (again, to avoid waiting 45 mins in line to pick up in person). App got hung up showing they were “ready to ship”, but the actual store couldn’t see they were supposed to be shipped and couldn’t generate a shipping slip. I tried to cancel another prescription refill request and now the app is hung up “canceling” it for the last 4 days. Called the store to have them cancel it and “they did”, however no change on the app. This means that in a month when my refill is due I won’t be able to select it and will have to waste my entire day trying to call in a refill. I despise Walgreens so much.

Good, not awesome. I think the updated version is meant to take care of all the issues I had with the App. It gets very slow. It shows old coupons. Apart from the fact that sometimes it shows coupons that are not recognized at the stores. I like the prescription refill and shopping online with the app. I hate it when it shows an article as available and in the store is not. Update: App is even worse now! I don’t know what happened but it’s buggy as hell. It freezes while loading products, the Rx page doesn’t let me refill prescriptions accurately and the option to pay for them is not automatically offered as I have to now “look around” the site to apply for it again and again. I even get messages that Rx was received or that it was ready to later go to the pharmacy and be told that they have no record of it. In Puerto Rico some employees do not understand what 6 feet of physical distancing mean although they play a recording about it on their speakers every 10 minutes.

Love the app, but please change back this feature. Everything about the app helps and has been great, developers please add back the feature when your medication is getting filled you can see the brand of medication as in what type of pharmaceutical company etc the med in the process of filling is. This feature used to be there now it’s not and it helps cause I can’t take one type of the many 15 or so generics of one of the medications I get and and it’s like I don’t know till they already filled it and are ready to check me out then I’m stuck and have to pay more have them thrown out and have the doctor call it in again and resent to another Walgreens and pay again. The old way would show the brand of generic being filled so I knew to let them know not to fill it if it ended up being that 1 out if 15 generics for that medication and could fill it elsewhere if so, as sometimes they switch generics due to supply. Please add this back.

Thank you! J. Rasmussen

App is inaccurate for prescriptions. Please FIX THE APP!! It is so inaccurate and a piece of junk. I ordered two prescriptions yesterday and called today to check on them. They say there was no record of the order (despite the app clearly showing them ordered). These meds need to be ordered from central fill (which I also absolutely HATE!!!) and since they didn’t order them yesterday, we have now missed the deadline to order and won’t come until next week. Plus one of the prescriptions they told me had zero refills despite the app clearly showing four refills. I would have asked them to contact the doctor sooner for refills if I had any idea the app showed the WRONG number of refills. Plus yesterday I got a notice on a different medication that the refills had been denied by the doctor but called the Walgreens store who said that yes, the prescription had already been received the day before and already was ordered and in. So yet ANOTHER mistake by the app. That’s 3 mistakes in 24 hours if you are counting, which I am. The employee told me not to use the app because it didn’t work, which I have clearly figured out by now.

DO NOT DO DELIVERY. I tried for the first time to order using delivery as it should be there before I needed it…. Paid almost $500 for my son’s diabetic supplies.. the app said 1 to 2 business days, the app shows the steps… granted I should have not risked delivery with it being so close to the day we needed it… on the end of second business day I decided to call to see if possible to just picked it up since my son needed it that night and it had not arrived. The app showed it was ready for FedEx, so I called just to see if it was possible. The issue came through when they informed me that though the app says it is ready for FedEx and I can see the charge in my bank, the system is terrible and canceled my order without my knowledge/showing me/ or anyone calling…. The only way to get the items is to go pick them up and pay again! As for the money I already spent it was in limbo and I would have to wait about 5 business days for the system to catch that it’s been cancelled and then wait for the refund… are you serious…. Thankfully the staff at Walgreens went above and beyond to help us BUT EVEN THEY SAID DO NOT USE DELIVERY AS THE SYSTEM IS TERRIBLE AND MESSES UP ALL THE TIME!

For prescriptions this app is a failure.. Every month it’s the same scenario. I use the app to request prescriptions, some need re-approved by Dr. On the same day I’m notified via robo call those prescriptions are delayed due to insurance. Last time a prescription was delayed I waited 9 days before going to the Walgreens to find out what happened. The prescription was there but just hadn’t been filled. There were no problems with insurance. Variations of this have happened so often I now just carry the empty prescription bottle with me and go inside to make sure it’s filled. Even after that, I’m robo called to tell me the scrip I just picked up is delayed? Three times now Walgreens shorted prescriptions. When I drive to the store and ask they don’t believe me, but say they will check inventory. After checking, they call to tell me they made a mistake and fill the remaining prescription. But then they use that date for the next prescription and insurance doesn’t pay again. When I ask the pharmacist what’s going on she replies, “I couldn’t tell you.” , barely looking up at me. This app has caused confusion with myself, my insurance and my Dr.

A good rating is much too kind. I’ve been using online Walgreen’s app for several years on my Dell Laptop. Within the past 2 years I have been using both an iPhone and Laptop to access my records. For the past 4 months I’ve been ordering RX refills from either source but when I contact pharmacy they tell me they never received my requests. Examples: I requested 2 refills and only 1 was received. I requested an Rx be sent to me and waited 10 days to receive it but it never came and I had to phone pharmacy for an in store pickup. I requested a refill via phone and was asked if I’d like auto refill. I said yes and then received a msg that it would be sent within the week oct 1 but I just ordered a 90 day supply to be picked up in store. Today I received an auto email stating there was a problem with my RX. When I clicked on link in email there was no message. Don’t you guys think it is time to upgrade your system? I am wasting too much time which is not the intent for using a smartphone. There is another lengthy problem with provider submissions of all Rxs at time of annual exam but I’m not going into it. Please either fix the errors quickly or I will change pharmacies.

New functionality improved the app! But, App no longer works with older iPad. Update: I filled out the feedback several times and Walgreens actually added the functionality I had been requesting to be able to add notes to prescriptions for the pharmacist! I’m so excited. I’ve already used this several times. It keeps me from having to call and wait on hold forever or have to go to the pharmacy to talk to them. I’m much happier with this app. Although I still can’t use it on my iPad because it’s older but it works well on my phone. I give them 5 stars for listening to customers and actually implementing our requests! Thank you Walgreens! Old review; I can't use the app because it no longer works on my iPad. It says I have to update the app but won't let me because my iPad iOS won't update. There's nothing wrong with this iPad. I should not be forced to buy a new one because apps don't want to be compatible with older iOS's.

App requires new password every 10 minutes.. Update: Solved! An update at the beginning of the year made the app incompatible with the use of content blockers on iPhone. The error messages could be improved by asking you to add Walgreens to your content blocker’s white list. It remains the only app I have on my phone that needs content blocker permissions to function. It is, again, a usable and functional app. Account login function has been broken for three months iPhone X running iOS 11.3.1. When the app is inactive for 10 minutes the password becomes invalid and the account is automatically logged out. EVERY time I use the app I’m required to create a new password, only to have the app then welcome me to my “New Account”. There is no “keep me logged in” toggle available after you change your password. If there is a setting to resolve this, it’s not apparent. I’ve been patiently waiting for an update and it downloaded Friday—and resolved nothing. Please resolve this issue which literally makes the app unusable. I am rating this app 2 stars (changed to 1 Star after the app functionality actually degraded further) until this app-breaking flaw is resolved. It’s a useful app when it works. Edit: the dev has stated that this is a known issue and that they’re working on a fix. I’m looking forward to a useful app and changing my rating back to 5 stars. I appreciate getting a response.

Not worth it.. 4.8 out of 5?? Sure didn’t look that way in the reviews?. Apps are supposed to make things easier! Not harder! Literally spent an hour just trying to get my acct verified just so I can just refill on the app. After that hour, they have on my acct,”NO SCRIPTS” so I try chatting, yet even more time, only to be told they can’t help me and I have to call another number.... no thanks. I’ll just continue to take the 3 mins to call! What a joke... they don’t even have MY store come up? This is so stupid. Says, “Scan and refill scripts in seconds!” Um no you can’t!!!!😂😂 Seems to me it’s the same generated answer to the same complaint over and over and over again. What’s the point of people calling and “sharing” their problem with you!? It’s been going on a long time so if your trying to help, why isn’t it fixed by now? Wish our Walgreens had stayed a rite aid. SO less problems... Do yourself a favor people, DO NOT USE THE PHOTO services!!!! Great sneaky job on offering codes then not giving them to your customers. You don’t even have my store, which I found out AFTER I gave you all my info, so I guess doing so was pointless anyway!!!! Please Toronto Ohio, get another pharmacy!!!!!!!!

Recently a disgrace. I’ve been using Walgreens internet page for may years although it was always plagued with bugs. Some years ago then came the Walgreens app and made me recover the confidence because I used the app and it was usually easy going and more user friendly than the internet page. One of the most used areas of the applications was the prescriptions handling area along with Balance Rewards, including the weekly challenges Then, since 2 weeks ago the app also became erratic and every time I try to access the Balance Rewards area I just see some big dots like if the application was in waiting/loading process. It keeps in this state for hours until I get tired and close the app. This is the reason for not completing the challenge last week. Today, September 5, 2020 the app is still doing the same without apparently nobody becoming aware of this. The ball is in your court

Tapping the 5th star to give a 5 star rating!?. I have always had great and professional service from your pharmacy department. As I tried to give the pharmacy a 5 star rating, I tapped the first star and it submitted 1star? You should clearly state, by tapping the 5th star, I would give that 5 star rating they are well deserved of! So now, I have sent in a 1star rating, a 2 star, and FINALY, I tapped just the 5th star and it sent in at the rate I wanted to give in the first place! So please let it be known, that those first two rating’s are, INCORRECT! My pharmacy, was to have received my 5 star rating and not the first two, 1 and 2 rating’s. Let it be known, as to the first two rating’s, that were mistakenly submitted, and does Not reflect on their complete overall performance to their well deserved 5 star rating.. I do hope this message will be read and understood of my experience in your app to give a rating. See you soon my pharmacy!! Thank you.

Not user friendly. This app is so extremely frustrating. Half the time it doesn’t apply the coupons, or show your rewards balance. When you add things to the cart or delete majority of the time that doesn’t work either. I’ve closed and relaunched, deleted and reinstalled. Wifi and cell network Cleared cache in my App Store. For a major retailer this is so inconvenient and it’s constant! Heaven forbid you try and use the coupons you were able to clip in the store in your app. The cashiers want absolutely nothing to do with the issue as most of the time they don’t attach and look at you like you have five eye balls when you kindly tell them a coupon should have attached to a full price item. This is the first review I have ever written for an app. I am just over it. I will be switching to CVS for my scripts and couponing. Walgreens makes it so hard to save a few bucks.

Love the app…store staff not so much. Oh absolutely love this app and it does everything I need a pharmacy app to do. I am constantly telling people to get this app and to use Walgreens as their pharmacy; however, don’t use the 1300 E. North Avenue to 1213 pharmacy because that pharmacy staff is horrible. I love the express pass on the app so when I pick up a prescription I don’t have to stand in those really long lines. That staff not only has no clue what express pass is, but when I tell them, they still try to make me wait in line when the express pass grants the user the privilege to go to the front of the line and they just don’t get it. I have complained to the corporate office numerous times about how they are not trained and not educated on how the pass works but nothing has changed. There are only a couple of people there who know and understand what the express pass is but when they are not working, it’s a nightmare!

This app caused me so much inconvenience. This app has caused so much frustration. I tried logging in and it said my email wasn’t associated with an account. Even though I know that is not true, I went to the sign up page where I typed my email and it said this email is already associated with an account. Had to call up three times before I finally received an email after the first two times. The email was never received. Due to the fact that I was locked out of my account and I moved across the country, my prescriptions were delivered to my old address, and there is no way to refill them over here. I finally was able to update my address in one place although my contact address remains my old address because it seems like there is no option to update that I am without a car currently and I want my prescriptions delivered like I did in New York, but I keep getting an error message when I try to change to delivery. This is frustrating beyond belief and I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but how are people getting paid to create and manage a terrible app? Beyond frustrating. We’re dealing with heath here.

Disabled script. Every month I get my medication filled. I have one narcotic I’ve been on for nearly 30 years. It’s nothing strong and it’s nothing heavy duty. However, it just goes to figure that all my other Scripps to get filled but that one. They said they called the doctor. I called the doctor myself. My daughter has a call and yet I still can’t get my prescription filled. I have yet to find a pharmacy in this area worth a crap and this phone isn’t worth a crap either because they still haven’t filled my prescription. I don’t even think they care enough to find out why or give me any good reason. When I know I spoke with the doctor. And it would be the second time she has cold it in I was a CVS customer before this maybe I should go back very highly disappointed that I care enough about an individual much less a did they draw to make sure they got their medication. I guess the pharmacist there don’t seem to think I knew my medication. Who died and made him Doctor

Great App for Rx Refills. I primarily use this app to refill my meds. I'm one of those people who would forget their own name if it wasn't said so many times every day. I forget dates times, I make a goldfish seem like the most attentive animal alive. That being said I need a constant reminder in bright flashing lights that says REFILL YOUR MEDS NOW, NOT TOMORROW BUT NOW! So with this app on my phone it is a constant reminder or an occasional one depending on your preferences plus when linked to your phone number, Wallgreens texts you reminder when your medication is ready to be picked up, and they'll keep reminding you unless you reply stop which I don't recommend so that you never end up saying at the end of the day " What was that one important thing that I had to do today but forgot to?!? " It's a no brained for those who are using their brains for many things at once do you don't have to worry about running out of "Momento" post it notes to adhere to every wall in your entire house!! Ahhh finally a little bit of a personal assistant!!

The pharmacist at the window. The pharmacist (if she was a pharmacist or not I don’t know) came from the drive through and asked me if I had an appointment. I said yes and the time. She then said “ We will get to you when we get to you!” I told her that comment was not necessary and certainly not good customer service. So when I was called to get my booster shot. I went back and I told the lady who was giving the shot how rude the lady was. She was the pharmacy manager and she apologized for her rudeness. I got my shot and had to wait 15 minutes and then she came from the window and was rude to another customer who also happened to be Black also. Of course, he got her good and told her that she was very argumentative and of course the pharmacy manager a very nice lady came and apologized to the customer for her rudeness. I will call the store manager in the morning. We all deserve some grace. What is given should be given in return. We are all stressed. This behavior is not acceptable!!

Great for Refills, Terrible for Contacts. I mainly use this site to refill my prescriptions and it is so easy and convenient. Easier than calling, just scan and submit. I would give it 5 stars without hesitation for that alone. However, I also tried to use this site to buy contact lenses, since Walgreens purchased VisionDirect, but that was a pain. The ordering system is a little difficult to navigate if you have a different prescription for each eye. For the second prescription I had to go all the way back to the brand of contacts and then work out from there, instead of being able to pick the brand and then input the two different prescriptions. I also had trouble because I was trying to buy contacts for two different people and the site wouldn't let me do it. It kept trying to replace the first order instead of creating an additional order. Then, after all that trouble, they canceled my order without notifying me so I was left waiting for contacts that never came. I ended up using 1800contacts and that was much better.

For prescriptions, simply awful. If all you need is some shampoo and it’s convenient for you, use them. But if you rely on prescription meds from them, it’s an entirely different story. If you can get your prescriptions filled elsewhere, DO IT. I’ve had too many problems with not only the Walgreens app but customer service to even address here. They’ve got the buggiest prescription ordering and refill system, numerous errors that waste several hours of my time every month, and zero response when submitting feedback or trying to contact customer service. There’s not even an option in the app to contact customer service- and you probably know how impossible telephone service from large companies has become these days. My current issue is with a med I desperately need that they were supposed to mail to me, they claim it was delivered, but I have not received it. I’ve moved most of my prescriptions to Express Scripts, which has been perfectly reliable so far, but this particular med isn’t available through ES so I’m seeking other options. After years of trouble with Walgreens, I want to cut ties completely.

Wow. I’m not going to write a negative review because actual film and customer service is something that died long ago. Walgreens is one of the only companies that still cares to locally develop your precious memories. I honestly wish I could sit next to every guest and teach them how to use these machines that they don’t know how to use they just want pictures of the grandkids. They might get lucky and find a helpful employee but usually not. I wish there was a place that I could teach everyone how to print pictures of their grandkids. As simple as it is to some of us, sometimes it is completely difficult for others to just print a photo they want on their wall. I recently lost my family so I completely understand. Don’t give up, print those photos, who knows maybe a friendly employee will help you. If I am behind you in line I swear I will help you print an entire album. Sometimes photographs are all we have to help us with our memories.

Terrible App. I’ve had nothing but issues with this app on my iPhone 7 Plus. My phone is up to date with all updates. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling. App rarely works for me. I am a new Walgreens customer under the AARP Part D and was hoping for a positive experience. Not happening. Update: I called the Customer Service number and sat on hold for 40 minutes. When I was finally connected to a representative she followed the trouble shooting script and finally escalated my case and said that someone would contact me in a couple of days. In the meantime, don’t know why, but it occurred to me to try the app with cellular data so I turned off wifi on my iPhone 7 and the app worked just fine. Turned wifi back on and it did not work. Then I decided to try my 5gHz connection and it still worked just fine. Went back to 2.4gHz and app did not work. I’m on Comcast Cable using their supplied modem/wireless router combo unit.

So many notifications.... I was getting notified by text, email, push, and phone. Turned it all off. All I really want to know is if my Rx is ready, but that’s not an option. So I have to cancel it all... or so I thought... I still get bombarded after cancellation. Email says time to refill. Ok, click refill. Later, text says time to refill. Hmm. Must’ve not worked before. Ok. Refill. Get push notification to refill. Check app. Not time to refill yet. Get a PHONE CALL to refill. Check again. Your refill is ready. AND we’ve contacted your doctor to renew your refill. But he says it’s too soon because obviously you’re an addict because you just sent me 3 refill requests and IT’S NOT TIME YET??? Why did you tell me to refill and it’s not time yet anyway? Then there’s the constant confusion with the watch sync. Constant push notifications to log back in to track your steps. Click it. You’re already logged in. Not tracking steps. Your app is already linked to your watch. Do you want to start a challenge (that you’ve already “started” 6 times and let’s go back to the first step of you haven’t logged in, but you’re already logged in)? I’ve used the photo service. It seems to work ok. I also like it tracks my purchases with my rewards. I keep the app anyway so I can show my doctors what I’m on and what dose and no, I’m not needing another refill although Walgreens keeps insisting I do. Overall 2 stars because, while it’s incredibly annoying, it’s useful.

Latest version fails to open login prompt. Watning to other users: I cannot login at all to the latest version of this app. Possible bug. When I click Sign In, absolutely nothing happens. The previous version worked fine. Walgreens please fix the app. If you are requiring we use Safari to login to your app, remove that requirement. We are not allowed to use Safari, so create your own login prompt in-app like everybody else. Using Safari at all weakens our privacy oer our security people, and this is our prescription app so I undestand why Safari is prohibited. i've tried rebooting the app twice and swiping the app away, to no avail. Also, the Prescription area of the app still has the major bug that is does not show all prior prescriptions we have filled, a d it STILL does not tell us THE DAY WE ACTUALLY PICKED UP A SCRIPT, and the NEXT DAY we can pick up the refill. This is simple information the app should have. In fact it should pop us an alert " You are allowed to pick up your refill on Friday!" (the 30-day point etc). that would be bery helpful to us.

Pharmacy. This particular Walgreens is excellent! Every single worker in this pharmacy deserves to be shown appreciation for the exceptional work that they do. I see Christina, Chelsea, Erika, Lisa, Chris, Robin as the regular workers at least once a week and I have also seen many excellent workers leave because they are just not treated right by Walgreens itself and this starts at the top and Walgreens just does not care how many workers they go through and for a large corporation, you can definitely make it worth their while to stay. Customers do not want to have to continually get used to new workers. I look at these workers as extended family because they treat me excellent and work so hard for me. They are honest and true. I would never stay with Walgreens if it were not for these particular workers. I’m not sure what it would take to get these workers the recognition that they deserve, but I will sure try. Kristi

Alerts do not work most of the time!. I have push notifications, email and text alerts turned on. I have the latest version of the app. When the alerts decide they want to work you will receive multiple texts AND phone calls from the moment the prescription is ready until you pick it up! It’s so bad it’s almost harassing! Then one day alerts won’t work completely and I’ll just get an email. Just one. That’s it. And it will say my prescription is ready moments after I scan to refill. The pharmacy wasn’t even open yet. So I called (when they opened)and it wasn’t even in stock. Oh and that’s a whole different issue! Then there are times I won’t receive anything! No call, text, or email. Something else - it would be helpful when you do receive a call or text that it says which prescription is ready if you have more than one. I have learned to ask the name of the prescription when picking it up. They refilled the wrong one, not even sure how because I’ve never even filled or taken the medication, so I paid for the wrong medicine and had to go back and return it. They actually took it back. Walgreens is horrible but I stay because they’re all horrible!

App gives WRONG information!!!. At first I thought this app would be a convenient way of knowing when my prescriptions are ready for pick up. But today after I received BOTH a phone call and an e-mail telling me my prescription was ready for pickup, I made a special trip to pick it up. And of course it was not ready and could not be picked up for another day. The cherry on top was when the pharmacist told me that I happens all of the time. Really? Then what is the point of BOTH phone calls and e-mails to remind you if they have nothing to do with what is going on at the local pharmacy?? Why is it that the pharmacy has no idea what is being sent on the app? For me this app is a piece of junk and until there is someone at Walgreens who is willing to try to figure out why it isn't working and to be accountable for its lack of correct information, I won't be using it. I will be calling and taking up the pharmacists valuable time. Goodness knows they've wasted enough of mine.

Customer service. This Walgreens on Halstead and North Main in Rockford Il has the worst customer service ever!!! They absolutely do not care about the patients. Every time I go in I am either ignored while waiting, as multiple personal conversations happen or they just do not want to wait on you. I am unable to drive at this moment til I am cleared by Dr. Until then I am stuck at this one. But I will be leaving in about 2 months. Including all my family members. It just has really gone down hill. 5 times this year out of the 8 months They r out of my prescription. That happens, but when u try to ask questions about approximate time it will be in, I always get a different answer. This last time I waited 9 days for it.. even though it was sitting there. The entire staff called off 2 days in a row so no one would help me. I even called the 800 number and never received a call back. I no I am only 1 person, but I have a big mouth, I will do whatever it takes to stop people from using this pharmacy. No reason for it. If the techs do t like the job, they do not need to be working in a pharmacy where the patients need medication!!

Walgreens App. I like the convenience of using this app for years I’ve used the pharmacy if and whenever I happen to need a prescription . And when they added curbside pick up at first I was disappointed csuse no one seemed to like doing that part of bringing it to the customer outside but hey that was all similar stores arround here although after I cought on I just continued to pick up myself I don’t mind . I wished that sometimes they would allow cash at the pick up and I wish my 24 hour store had copying services where I can make Copies black and white only with a coin dispenser or virtual debit I don’t own a computer nor a printer the hassal to buy paper and ink and hardware that costs money that I don’t even know too much about and some people like my local HA want paper copies sometimes 4 am is my ideal time to use a copy machine to proceed to my busy work day at 8 am driving tru commute no plans on adding to my route

Pharmacy at Walgreens!!!. I live In Yakima Washington and my pharmacy is Walgreens on 40th and Summitview. It’s horrible!! I am thinking of leaving and finding a new pharmacy. My mom and both have called numerous times and had to wait for almost 1/2 hour then they get on and say please hold, then we get hung up on. They tell you when your prescription will be done you go get it and I’ve had to wait four more hours!! Today they told me at 11 the meds will be done I went at 11:30 I finally got to the window she told me another 5 - 10 min. I told her I would get behind the line at the drive through after waiting for almost 1/2 hour I get to the window again and she tells me another hour!!! This happens every time. I know they get busy at times, I can understand this but different times of the day even in the evening this happens. I’ve also heard other people complain and did find a knew pharmacy. They need to have more people then the pharmacist and one worker working the counter and window. This is so unprofessional. I have never ever complained about a company but this pharmacy is really horrible I took the prescription in right at nine and now they say it won’t be ready until 2!!! But first it was at 11 yeah right!

This version DOES NOT WORK!!!. The previous version was 3 stars. This new version is NOT USER FRIENDLY! I have placed refill orders on the new version and received confirmation that the refill was ready. I arrived at my local Walgreens and was told they had NO RECORD of the refill being ordered. I had to wait while the pharmacist looked at my history at the store and filled the order. This should not happen. Worse yet, in order to place a refill order one must flip through almost a dozen options to reach the page to “TRY” to order a refill. If the developer corrects all the bugs in the app I will use it. If not I will be changing to a different pharmacy chain entirely. I ask, Walgreens do you wish to keep a long time customer or not? I am certain that other customers are very upset with the newest version of this app. There were several other customers waiting for their refills that were not filled after using the app just as I was and all were highly upset saying that they were switching to a different pharmacy entirely! I only gave this version 1 star because it couldn’t be rated as a negative 5 stars. Fix this app or I and many will go elsewhere!

Pharmacy feature is near worthless. I had all my prescriptions at CVS but moved them to Walgreens because I am visually impaired and don’t drive and Walgreens is easier to walk to. Ordering prescriptions in the app is painful. It doesn’t tell you when you’re eligible for a refill like the CVS app and site. Most of the time I end up having to call the store because there is some issue but it doesn’t tell me what. They’ve duplicated some prescriptions so unless you go look at the package it’s hard to know which one to order. The express pay feature is a joke I did it, got to the store, couldn’t find the express line because they don’t have one at the location, and the person at the counter didn’t ask if I had paid in the app as is touted to do. Their computer system is so bad she couldn’t tell in there I’d done it so I just had to pray I didn’t get double charged. With CVS their system does pick up on the prepay. Finally, the app makes it hard to figure out what rewards points you’re earning and how many you’ll earn for meds and other purchases. I’ve been a Walgreens customer for a couple decades when I was near a location but I’m rethinking it now.
