Great translator.. Only two problems. 1. Occasionally adds a period and adds it to the translation. 2. Hard to delete long paragraphs. I translator has a "clear" function.

Contractor. Use this app to communicate with subs via text. They always understand, perfectly, the message whereas when I use English I’m prone to receive error. Pridefully, they say they understand but ...

Language transliteration to English is useless. Simple to use but language transliteration from Hebrew is useless ex. hwʼ ʻẕwb wʼny şmẖ the same phrase transliteration for another translator app is hu 'atsuv vaani samakh making it possible to learn how to properly pronounce the words.

Horrible, does not work.. Downloaded, and redownload, paid $9. For an app. That does not work. What a waste of money and time. Very disappointing.

Love it!. Are used this app all the time. I love the history feature to quickly review things I have already looked up and the translator is very handy with voice pronunciation. One small glitch with the translator is that if you spell a word wrong, it looks and looks and looks for a translation several minutes. It is usable during that time, ie virtually locked up. Very frustrating, but it seems like a bug that can be fixed easily.

The most useful app I have. I live in southern California, and while I speak enough Spanish for normal day-to-interaction I’m getting old and cannot maintain my yard, one of the most relaxing things I do, or my home cleaning, one of the most onerous things I do. The old saying “it now takes me all day to do what I used to do all day” is so accurate. My gardener, born in Mexico and naturalized more than 30 years ago was super impressed with the free version’s text translations in both directions. The pro version adds the voice to text function, so face-to-face communication is so easy. A must have for international travelers.

Not voice?. Thought this was a voice translator. Apparently not. I requested clarification and a refund if it was not a voice translator. So far no response. Probably good for what it does, but I need a non-subscription voice translator.

Watch out Europe. I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this app. My son and I are traveling through Europe this summer and have limited foreign language skills. I have been messing with this every day since I got it. It seems to work almost flawlessly. Certainly worth the money I think.

Freezes Often. Software freezes during searches far to often for prime time release.

Macedonian Delight. It is great that Macedonian is one of the languages available. I hope that a sound translation is forthcoming!

Please add audio features to tagalog and offline use, I’d greatly appreciate it!!!!. Hello! I’ve been using MyLanguagePro for a few years now and I initially purchased it because I wanted the audio and offline features, but after I purchased the pro version, I realized it was not available for tagalog. I’ve given it time because I know you must still be working on developing the app and making all it’s features available for the listed languages, but I just want to make it known that me and all of my tagalog learning friends are looking forward to these features. Especially the audio!

Can’t get it to work. Unfortunately nothing works on my app. Doesn’t translate sentences and the voice option doesn’t work. I’m bummed.

Chance in live. When I say chance in life that’s what really happens to me. I started working as a porter in a building even that I always had the skill to be a superintendent I never had the opportunity, but as soon I buy this app I started to communicate perfectly just using the app. Hey how about that!! Ethiopian language ?. So where is the Ethiopian language ??? No matter what state you go into , whether it’s Washington DC in Washington state of Washington or Las Vegas Nevada you have all these Ethiopian taxi drivers and Ethiopian employees running around and nobody can talk to them because there’s no translator, so my question is why do you guys not have Ethiopian language in the translators... It is not your app alone that is lacking that particular language Google is doing the same thing so what’s up with that other than that the application works quite well

Needs phonetic breakdown. I really like the app however it needs to include more languages and also it would be so much better if that was a phonetic breakdown of how to make the sounds that make the words!

Believe app is no longer updated.. I have the paid for Pro version of app. Tried to contact developer via Apple Store and would not send. App has not updated in 5 years. Worked fine until recent IOS updates.

Volume and cost.. Needs to be louder, especially for using in noisy crowds, stores, restaurants etc.. otherwise helpful. Like this was a purchase and not a monthly fee.

Discontinued?. Is this all no longer being supported? I don’t see there’s an update for several years and I no longer can get it to work. It crashes when I try opening it. Before it would crash when I’d try to copy the translated text.

Great App!. I enjoy your app. It helps clear up those words and pronunciation questions you can have with other languages. The voice from the app sounds robotic rather than a clear human voice. But I love the app.

Great app. I only had one time it would not translate for me. I was a teacher and needed to write notes home to the Spanish speaking only parents. It worked wonders

Nice for most uses. I found a poem that I wanted to share with a lady from Columbia. It turns out the pro version must have a word or character limit. The poem was to long bcuz I pasted it into the app but it did not get the entire full number of words, paragraph or lines. There must be a limit. I have the pro version which I probably paid for. Is there a way to get more out of the app.?

Language App Review. I’m using this app as a supplement to my Hebrew classes. It has been very helpful. If you’re learning a foreign language, I encourage you to supplement your learning with this app.

Great App For Translation. Is the only app I've found that correctly translates some German phrases. And the audio is superb. The interface is a bit cumbersome - the older interface was easier. But all in all a great app

This is a 5 Star App. I so love this app it’s my go to when I need to contract a contractor who’s English isn’t up to par; especially when I need to use words to describe a detailed job I use this app to translate from English into Spanish. It does such a wonderful job. It’s gets 5 Stars from me and I highly recommend it.

Once you have Tagalog…. as spoken I will give you five stars.

Love it!. I really love this app. My only suggestion, if at all possible, is the option of “backing up” to the list of languages, when making a mistake, while choosing a target language. For example, if I’d like to chose German, and accidentally hit Greek, there is no option to “back up” to the language list, and correctly chose German. When I hit “cancel,” the language list does appear, again, but for a brief moment; then, I’m taken right back to the translation page. Other than that, I love the app.

App Speed/Response Time.. I am impressed with the speed at which this App responds to language translation request... and the the languages it covers!

A human sense to the translations. Not machine-like. Picks up nuances. Seems real. Can be poetic. Much better than Google Translations. For me, a writer, it’s the best of ‘em.

Slow down. Having the option to hear the translation is great, but it's said so fast it's hard to understand. Having an option where you can select a word out of the sentence and hear just the one word would be great, that way you could hear a difficult word again and again so you can learn how to properly pronounce it. Learning languages would then be easier to understand and speak.

What a rip!!. Do not pay the extra as it only has voice for a few languages, I'll be asking for my money back as it didn't explain this very well..!!

Don't waste your money for Asian languages. This is useless for all Asian languages! The transliterations are horrible and the audio is only available for a few European languages.

Almost there but not quite.. This app is one of the better Farsi English translation apps but there are some improvements that can be made especially in the transliteration. Farsi does not include short vowels but in English we do write them. It would help to have the English vowels translated instead of just dropping them. For single word look up for verbs, it would be great to have them conjugated across the various tenses as well as audio pronunciation and example word usage and or meanings for ambiguous words.

Only 300 characters can be translated at a time. 300 characters is not a lot. Maybe one or two sentences at the most and I just keep getting the same error message no matter what words I try to translate in Latin. Says "Sorry we are unable to translate your request. Not impressed. The description says that the pro has audio for the translation. I paid over $10 to find out that it only does audio for a select few languages. Not impressed. Just wasted my money!

Second to none for universal translation apps. I am a certified English as a 2nd/Foreign language teacher, as well as an amateur linguistic proficient in French, Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, & currently learning Arabic, Tagalog & Mandarin Chinese. My studies & the preparation of lesson plans benefit greatly from this app. I recommend all my students get it. I especially like the transliteration option, & having the native speakers pronunciation to imitate. Keep up the great work!

Great app!. The audio is very clear. I like how you can select the country and it then allows you to pick a category of what area of that country you need to use to speak the language properly. And no robot voice! Human audio makes it authentic. I teach ESL and it’s perfect for me. An absolutely awesome and perfect app! Thank you!

Perfect. Language Pro is perfect for me. I am studying Greek with Rosetta Stone, and this app compliments it very well. I can confirm words, spellings and pronunciations very quickly. I can also look up phrases and words which I have not covered yet in the Rosetta Stone, if/when am impatient. I love this app.

Sweet!. This is a great app. But i purchased it so I would have it for overseas but now I can't use it because it needs to be hooked up to the wifi. So a great app but useless for travel.

One of the better language translators, without doubt. Very pleased with this app. I write in Spanish or French every day. When a phrase eludes me I look to the app for a good translation, and it usually provides something I feel confident using. Sometimes it does use words in the wrong context, but very rarely (for example, mixing up business quotes and literature quotations) and these occasions are becoming less frequent as updates are made to the data base. Highly recommended. .

English OK - French... so, so. Speaking very clearly in French “Je m’appel Edward” the transcription, repeatedly, and no matter how slowly and accurately I said it, was “Jewer m’appel Edwardh”. Speaking English to the app seems fine - would be great if I could test my usage of other languages as I learn though.

My Language Pro Review. This is an amazingly helpful App not just for travellers and business people; but also for students who are trying to learn a new Language. Now that I have a new friend from Athens, Greece I find this Application most helpful when I'm trying to communicate with him. Because he doesn't feel totally comfortable speaking English yet; and I haven't Learned to speak Greek yet. This Application is really helping me to get to know him. I highly recommend it. excellent app. this app is great for quickly translating words and the spoken words function is good but the previous version was better it was clearer sounding words now it is difficult to understand if they would use the voices of the pervious version it would be a 5 star rating

Helpful in learning another language. I'm findind the app very helpful in learning Norwegian. The Pimsleur audio course I'm using doesn't always give me word spellings and by typing the English phrase in to my language pro I get the written Norwegian phrase back and it has been very helpful, especially for groups of words where a dictionary doesn't help. The fact that I can save common phrases is a bonus for when I don't have an Internet connection. This is one of the more valuable language apps I've downloaded. I hesitated on getting the app at first since you can do some of the things through Google or Bing online translators. However, for the simplicity of the app and its extra features I'm glad I bought it.

Quick Response to Feedback. My issue had to do with listening to translation. The Founder and app creator gave me a phone call. THIS IS MY ISSUE: When it comes to listening to the pronunciation of a word, most language translation apps allow you to toggle between both languages. For example, if I want to listen to how CRUDITÉS is pronounced in French: French CRUDITÉS translated to English RAW VEGETABLES. If I want to listen to the French pronunciation of CRUDITÉS, I toggle between the 2 languages. Unfortunately MyLanguagePro does not facilitate this feature. It only allows me to listen to the translated word(s) which is RAW VEGETABLES. **Most of the time it takes a while for Support to respond to a customer issue. Usually a month. They get back and say they forgot to answer or they 'just saw' the email.

So, so, why?. Still needs work! Unlimited writing! I'm writing a letter or a email and I can't write anymore and in a middle of a sentence? My mind is racing & I have to stop & email it, copy & paste, I don't think so. My friend from Lima, Peru came to visit, I used this app looking up words in her language & it helped a lot. When I closed the app & returned to it the next day, the flag ion returned to its original default. It should have stayed with the Peru icon and stay as the default till I changed it. Your app can be better. I want to use it some more. Please fix it!

Thanks. With the new version, everything works. Very happy now. Great customer service!. Very upset. Downloaded this application and WHAT??? NO SOUND!!!! Why did I pay $2.99 for? I see the speaker and looks like it works but no sound!!!!! I doubled check my ipod to make sure the sound was working and of course it was. WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!

Love It. English is my secondary language. I have been using this product for the last 2 years. It has helped me in many situations. I take my iPhone to school, I am able to find words immediately instead of looking in the dictionary. This product gives me confident. The lite version works as good as the pro version. But, I purchased the pro just for appreciating the developers. It was the least I could do to show them my appreciation. Again, thanks for the great product. Keep up the great job.

If you need translation, you can't go wrong. I love this app. As a native speaker of American English with a *very* rough familiarity at various romance languages, this app has helped more thoroughly enjoy reading Simenon and others in the original. The pronunciation feature of numerous French dialects from different nationalities has really helped me "hear" the dialogue among Simenon's characters. Thank you!

Highly recommend this app. I have used it while traveling in Mexico and for communicating in emails to a client in Costa Rica. I have also used the German translation feature. When traveling,,the ability to have the app speak the words is especially useful both for my pronunciation and to just play it for someone if I can't get them to understand me. Highly recommend this app.

Dictionary. I cannot get this app to translate anything. I type in a word & nothing happens...

A "must have" for me.. I've used various translators over the years with mixed results. Some are fairly accurate, but the intonation renders the sentence somewhat ridiculous. My Language Pro is generally correct and when it's used to speak, comes across less robotic than others I've used. It's worth the price!

Bilinguals tell me: Best Translation App. I’ve never used a better translation app than this one right here, ‘MyLanguagePRO’. I’ve been using this for several years across the handful of social networks I used to have, and the one I still do. I’m not multilingual; to my shame I’m one of those Americans who is not even bilingual. I can, at best, speak a few words of greeting in more than several languages, and like many Californians, speak some Spanglish 🤣. However I am not, and will never be, the kind of American who limits their conversations to those who speak only English, because let’s face it, how boring would that be? I have asked every single Bilingual person I’ve had the pleasure of texting with, what they thought about the translations offered by MyLanguagePRO. With the given knowledge that NO translation by any translator service, or app, can be completely perfect, all have agreed that MyLanguagePRO is clearly above and beyond the capabilities of other translation apps to provide more than a clear and a fairly concise translation 99% of the time. (I personally have not had a misstep, but am unwilling to commit to 100%, nothing is perfect) Thus I rest my case. But consider this, you don’t have to take my word for it, you can try it for yourself. I believe you will be pleased. Having said all this, I’d like to request help from You MyLanguagePRO: PLEASE FIX YOUR DARK APPLICATION! When I use MyLanguagePRO in ‘Dark’ mode rather than ‘Light’ mode, the different languages and countries cannot be seen as the fonts are still black.

Pretty good but.... I would love to give this 5 stars, but transliteration doesn't work. I emailed them about it and got a reply shortly. They said they are working on it and it will be fixed with the next update. That was months ago and nothing yet. Overall it's a good app and doesn't crash or freeze or anything. But you can get/do the same thing for free with many of the other translation apps. Google screws up the translations sometimes, but their 'transliteration' works. It might not make sense, but at least you can see how to pronounce it...just in case you don't read non-romanized languages. Besides, most of the paid translatior apps use google anyway. I do recommend the google translation app first BEFORE you spend money on any other translation apps.

Quick and easy. I like being able to type in my own phrases, such as "Do you speak English," or "I don't speak Polish" and then being able to actually hear the translation. Having everything saved in my history is a big help, too. This app is perfect for learning the basics that are appropriate for your needs!

Your professional portable personal translator in your pocket!. This app is amazing! It provides you with every combination of language and region you can think of! All you do is select what you're speaking in, where you're from, and type in your message..when you're done you choose the language and place you want it translated for…then press the button and it's translated like BANG! And, what's even cooler? Most of the languages also have a button you can use to have the program speak the translated message out loud for you! Highly recommended for anybody traveling, or needing a reminder of how to say that important phrase or two during that important business meeting.

Audio. Voices on the audios sound distorted--like they are intoxicated. I wish I hadn't paid money for this app. What a disappointment!

Great and getting better. myLanguage Pro does a good job of translating to and from every language I have ever wanted. The ability to generate speech for some languages can really help language learners with difficult pronunciation. The best part of myLanguage Pro, though, is that if a translation is wrong you can fix it. The commuty backend allows you to rate the translation and even provide a correction. Knowing that there are folks out there that will make these translations better and I don't have to pay an extra cent to get that benefit makes myLanguage Pro well worth the price.

Love and suggest. I love the app. Takes a moment to become accustomed to the interface. But it's simple. I would love to see, however, Nahuatl be added. Because the words are integrated into everyday spanish use in Mexico. And to fully grasp the heart and culture of country Nahuatl must be offered on the app which will help tremendously. Especially when it comes to reading folklore. Or learning about the history.

Awesome Translator. This translator is awesome!

Like that it saves your words in history.. It gives you one word meaning with ease and how the word should sound. Really only need one word to get your point across. It will give you phrases. It's easy to use and takes about 2 seconds to look up translation. You type what you want and got one button and it shows you your phrase with the translated phase at once. Not complicated. So now I can speak to my daughter I'm Italian and when we go to Italy we can get by.

Great app. We are currently in Mexico and this app has been wonderful. We speak a little Spanish, however, this app has helped us communicate, get a round to areas we would not normally have information on and most of all finding great eating establishments. I wouldn't travel without it.

GET THE FULL VERSION!!!. This APP is AMAZING!!!!! all u have to do is type something in, and it tells you what it means in whatever language you choose!!! Just because the full version is 4.99 you still should get it!!!! If you get the full version ITS NOT A WASTE OF MONEY, ITS WORTH IT!!!! So get this APP!!! if you get the full version then when you type in something and it translates what you typed it…… then press the button that looks like a megaphone. So far so...okay. I haven't used the app for long yet, but I have purchased the Pro version and I'm experiencing a disappointment or two. iTranslate does some things better, like displaying the phonetic spelling below the target language spelling instead of making you tap a button to reveal the phonetic spelling. When there are multiple words in the target language for the word entered in the source language, I wish this app would display them all (it doesn't). I'm studying Russian, and when I use this app I'm often looking for the spelling of the target word rather than just any word with the meaning of the English word I entered. The translation of "hello" that this app provides (Привет) is not the one I was looking for (Здравствуйте). The one phonetic spelling I've looked at so far (for Привет) is lacking as well: the phonetic spelling given for this word is "Privet", while the actual pronunciation of this word would be much better represented by "Preevyet" (or maybe "Prreevyet", to illustrate the rolling 'r' sound). Fortunately for me, Russian is a phonetic language, so once I've learned the sounds of all the letters I shouldn't need this app's phonetic spellings anymore. It's also a little annoying that tapping the 'x' button to delete the text I've entered in the source language field often doesn't do that, but rather leaves the text where it is and only causes the cursor to jump to the beginning of it. Fortunately when this happens, a second tap actually deletes the text. These complaints aside, I think I'm pretty happy with the app so far. I'll come back and update my review when I have more experience with it.

Great app 😉. I think everyone should buy this app!!! The languages it can translate to are unending. Don't listen to any bad review, I am writing this review because I always look at people's reviews before I buy an app and I hope they all are accurate. You can translate any thing you can possibly need with this app. The only set Back is that u can't translate every word, but I still give the app five stars because it is truly amazing!!!!! ☺

Great service!. There was a major problem with the app not doing any translation, I contacted them and they responded quickly. There was a problem with their server, they fixed it immediately. The app now works great and I am very impressed by their customer service. I now give them not only 5 stars but wish I could give them 10 stars!

My backup. My son is a teacher and at times he has asked me to translate a note from english to Spanish for a non English speaking parent. I can speak and read Spanish but have a hard time writing it. After I read the translation I might have to change some wording to best describe the situation. But the best thing I like about it, it gives me the correct spelling of the word I'm looking for.

Not my first translator App but may be my last!. myLanguage Pro is the best translator app hands down! No other translator offers anywhere near as many features. I speak Urdu, and I love the fact that they translate MY language! These High Quality voices are amazing. I translated something to my friend in German, and my friends said it sounded great. Good job guys, keep up the good work!

Love it!. I LOVE the history feature! I can practice all the phrases I've put in to translate. And I love the Spanish audio. Good job! Wish I could put my sentences into folders to catagorize them (how 'bout that developers). Overall I find this a wonderful program that works well and translates accurately. I use it almost daily. Ah ha! So you do listen to us! Thanks for the rotation fix! Now could you bring me some hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream on top? hurry! LOL

Unresponsive and rip off. I originally got the free version and loved it. Wrote a 5 star review. Then got this paid version to avoid the ads and support the developer. What a mistake. I am in Chile and need Spanish. But upon opening the app no how many times I have chosen Spanish as my choice to translate to it keeps defaulting to French. That never happened with the free version. So I emailed the developer. Got the standard acknowledgment that they received my inquiry and would review and get back to me that was 10 days ago. Nothing. 3 days ago I wrote again and said I had not heard anything and wanted a fix or my money back. Still nothing. I am going to notify my credit card that I will not pay this charge. Do not buy from this developer. Not unless you want to have to select your language every time

Great Translator. Translators will never be truly perfect, but this one is great. I use this to text my girlfriend everyday and we very rarely have communication problems. What I like about it is that it has Spanish based on different countries , not just one type. This helps a lot because the words have different meanings in different countries. Out of 9 months of using it, I had one problem once ad emailed support. It was up and running on less than a couple hours. Best app I ever purchased.

Translation are incorrect, voice is computer generated and apps is expensive to use abroad. This application is totally useless when abroad - and the translation and voice are unclear and computer generated!!! it is another web apps translator embedded in a pretty interface. Don't waste your money with it buy a native translator that you can be use abroad and that is practical. Example: Bonjour, Je voudrais une baguette (French) --> translates Hello, I would like a baton (English). This basic phrase is often used in a French bakery to order a french baguette. If you had called a "baguette" a baton in a bakery, you will be the joke of the day.

Great but missing some. I love this app and in fact I use it a lot because my job involves interacting with people from all over the world, however some of the languages do not have the sound capability :( I wish the developers would add it in the near future. Pronunciation is a key when one wants to learn a few phrases in another language. Thank you! PS. I had the basic app and I upgraded to the Pro version precisely for the phonics but now some of the languages I'm using, I can't pronounce....Afrikaans being my main struggle

American tourist. I tried English to Italian and found it Easy to use intuitive and clear pronunciation. It requires internet to download translations and text-to-speech so may need to roam in italy but I like that it saves history for reusing repeats of same words. Definitely worth $5. I would pay ten times more if I could download entire dictionary to avoid needing Internet while traveling.

Still Worth the Money. I love the new update. This application just keeps getting better. The voices sound great, better than anything ive ever heard. Until this update, I never even knew what transliteration was; crazy how I can now pretty easily read translations in Russian or even Chinese. Its a great new feature! This is by far the best translation application out there. I recommend this to anyone looking for a great translator!

Works well.. I'm living in Russia and use this app quite a bit, and find it to be accurate most of the time; its been a big help. The audio/spoken translations are okay but spoken too fast and sometimes even on the highest volume its difficult to get a good feel for proper pronouncement. If the program would allow you to slow down the spoken translations (and increase the volume just a bit for when your in a noisy place and don't have your earbuds) I would be 100% happy with this program.

New User. I want Somalian language on here. I just purchased my ipad and downloaded this app today. Can I speak into it to have it translate what I say, or is it only able to speak back the text? I would LOVE for this app to beable to do that. That's what I really need it for. I am a Kindergarten teacher and many of my students parents only speak another language. I want them to be able to speak to me, and I speak to them via this app.

Fantastic. We just got back from 10 days in Italy, couldn't speak a word of Italian and used this app everywhere to communicate. At first I was just using single words or short phrases but by the end I was having two way conversations with people as we were switching back & forth between English & Italian. The audio feature got the best response from people, they were amazed I could type in English & they would hear it in Italian. Wouldn't travel without it.

I'm a security officer and this was a great help. I work as a Security Officer and was face with a need to communicate with someone who doesn't speak,read or write English & their was no translator around to assist & I never thought I would say this but an app just made my job easier! I was dealing with somebody who couldn't speak write or understand English but spoke, wrote and read Spanish so in this situation with no translators around how do I handle this moment so I turned to technology to talk to him by using this app I typed what I had to say and it would translate it in his language to read. I asked him to write down in his language the question I was asking on the screen and I would translate them so I could help him and unbelievably as awkward as it was we could now communicate clearly it was pretty awesome! So awesome that I bought the paid app for $10!

I love this APP. Great APP! My Spanish (Puerto Rican Dialect which I could select) friend says both the written & spoken translations are PERFECT. The only improvement I would suggest is voice for oriental languages. E-mails in Vietnamese to a Co-worker were both well received and fun. As a programmer I understand the difficulties of that request & applaud you on your your Unbelievable success of bringing people of different voices together!!

Great translator!. This app is amazing! It does more than just translate simple words. I am not fluent with spanish but I do understand more than I can speak or write. This app has made the harder spanish vocabulary easier to understand and has even tought me how to say them properly. I recommend this app to everyone!!!

Helpful. This app is worth the $5. For the most part it is fairly accurate. Sometimes it will translate awkwardly but it is never the less understandable. So far I have used both forms of Chinese, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, and Japanese. The only language that was awkward was Japanese--but it still worked. I wish it had languages of Micronesia, but those are hard to come by since there are so many different dialects. Other than that, it is worth it. The audio version is good for those who may be illiterate in their own language and cannot read. But the free version is a must!

Gregory Moreira. I purchased this APP before traveling to the Dominican Republic, and must admit it was quite helpful. The only difficulty I had was with translating from Spanish back into English.. It seems that some of the countries colloquial nuances were not translatable, which ended with the response not making any sense in English... The one thing that's good about this dilemma, is that it encourages me to get more involved with some of the local expressions; for example: "Sip" is there way of saying "OK".

Worth the money. For an app that costs $5 it's not a bad app. It does translate forward and backwards which is nice. I can write my word in Chinese and have it translated to English which is a nice feature. For me, there are two things missing that would make this app 5 stars. 1) app does not speak out loud in every language, seems to be the easiest and most commonly used. 2) to be able to use this app w/o the presence of wifi. This app is extremely easy to use and very practical.

Worth the price!. I watched the demo on You Tube and was very impressed! The text-to-voice speech even changes depending on whether you use an exclamation point or question mark. It's interesting to play with the different dialects to see how a language is spoken differently. Translations are available in more languages than one could ever need. The text-to-voice is available only on the most common languages, but hopefully there will be more available in time.

App should be called My Con not My Pro. I paid some thieves for a subscription to this app, it worked one day, after that it wouldn't translate. I contacted the app writer via feedback and received an email stating my feedback was received. That was three weeks ago, I've tried three times since to get some support to resolve the issue. Now I don't even get an email, I guess it is because I requested a refund. As far as I am concerned they are thieves, I wish they could be accountable to support the app but once you pay the fee that is all they are interested in. Kiss your money goodbye. You want resolution... You would have better luck getting a reply if you sent smoke signals.

Worked well until recent iOS 9.0 update. Wonderfully flexible with great language correction and feedback. However once iOS 9 got installed, the pro version quit working you try to start and it cuts off. So you have to delete the app and reinstall it. Once you reinstall it works intermittently, if you try and do reverse translation it shuts down. They need to update it for the new iOS. It would be worth buying a second time if they updated it to fully functional with the new iOS

Good but very cumbersome. Tough to rate. Lots of languages and dialects. (Too many?). I need to switch between languages immediately. The app is terrible for that sort of use. I can't use it for my purpose - conversation in a multi-lingual situation. It would be good to set 3 languages on a quick list, for example. With so many options there must be a way to create some shortcuts for practical use.

Magnifique - Nouvelle Mise à Jour. This was always one of the best translation apps for use in day to day settings or even private use while trying to learn newer words in the foreign language one is not accustomed to. But, with this latest update, it has increased its value! Very much recommend this to anyone looking for a translation app that actually works.
