Great app and great team. I have been using the desktop Book Collector for many years to keep track of the books I own, the books I’ve read, and the books I want to read. The support (mostly for help moving to new computers over the years) has been prompt and kind. I love the CLZ mobile app because I can sync with the desktop version and check my collection while on the go. I’ve never needed support with the app but know that the team would respond promptly if necessary. All around good people with great products.

Long time user. I started using book collectorz years ago, probably 10 at least maybe more. I was using the PC desktop version until last year when my computer had a major meltdown. It took me a while but I decided to get an iPad and finally downloaded the mobile version of book collectorz. I figured I would have to redo my entire catalog all over again and I had tons of information. This was the best program I had found, hands down, and I loved updating my catalog. To my surprise, I found my catalog in CLZ. I don’t have to redo every single book, yay! At the time my library was 6771 books. It was a daunting task to think of having to redo it. I’m thrilled I don’t and only have to add the new books. I love this program. It’s got so much functionality, easy to use, and looks good while doing it! I recommend this program over anything else you could ever find.

Catalogued over 3000 books. CLZ Books is working so well for us. We have used it to catalog over 3,000 books in our church library. It has taken us a couple of months but we have been able to entirely eliminate our physical card catalog. We can post a link on our Facebook page so that people can see what books are available in the library. They can search and sort but they can’t change any of the data. We still use, and probably always will, the physical envelope and cards in the books. People can sign the book out using the card and we check the book out in the app so that we can keep track of what books are borrowed. The ability to search and sort books is the feature we like most. You can sort based on any category. The cost of using this app and the online website is minimal. I can’t imagine ever needing any other app to organize our extensive library. There are continual app updates. They are always working to make it better. New features are added all the time. You will not be disappointed with this app or the online database. Customer service is excellent. They usually respond to any issue or question within one day.

Terrific and Easy. I am new to book collecting and focused on books about magic and magicians. I looked around to find a way to keep track of my collection after I inadvertently acquired the same book twice (ultimately, no worries). I have a close friend who is a professional magician who helps me find books so also wanted an app that could be used and synced across platforms including mobile. Last, if something were to happen to me I wanted to have a listing of the collection with relative values for my family. In short, this app checks all the boxes and is easy to use. Highly recommended.

Great app to track my books. This is a great app for keeping track of your book collection, whatever you have. I have hundreds of books, paperback, hardcover, trade paperback, and hundreds of kindle books. The app is so customizable, and you can search your database in so many ways. By author, genre, publisher, type of book, read or unread. Customer service is great as well. These people really seem to care about you, and help to resolve any problems you may have. And you can keep your collection synced between your iPhone, and iPads. Works great, and it’s well worth the $15 a year they charge.

Great tool to keep track of books!. I’ve been using Collectorz Book Collector for many years now, first on the Windows platform and then iOS as soon as the app was available. It’s very easy to add and edit on either platform (but using the app to scan barcodes is the easiest IMHO) and even easier to sync between them. This app has kept me from buying tons of duplicate books for my daughter (since I don’t read hers it’s difficult to remember all the ones she has). Technical support is also top notch. Over the years I’ve only had to contact them a handful of times but every time they’ve responded within 24 hours and had a solution for my problem, if not immediately, within a reasonable timeframe. I highly recommend this product for any book lover/collector.

Love CLZ app!. I’ve been using CLZ for 4 or 5 years now to catalog the books I’ve read. It’s easy to use and helps me keep track of what I‘ve read in various formats...paper books and different e-book versions. I tried different apps in the past, even tried keeping a list in a spreadsheet, but this has made life much easier. Its search feature works great and there’s plenty of fields to enter everything I want to keep track of. They update it regularly and keep making it better. I love this app! -PT

Great Tool, Easy to Use, Cross Platform!!. Love this app! I’ve been using it for several years and it just gets better and better. I volunteer at the Friends of the Poway Library Bookstore, and recommend it regularly to patrons. Like it so much I also bought licenses for their Movie App which I also love! Running both on my PC, iPad and Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone and they sync flawlessly. Updates are quick and easy and support is really impressive. I wish more Apps worked this well and had this level of support!

Librarian-approved!. I have been using three of the CLZ apps for about 13 years now, on a variety of desktops and devices, and have found them all to offer excellent functionality. In the case of Books, I can fully endorse it from the point of view of a retired librarian with many years experience of book cataloguing. It does all I need of it, and more, and in addition is backed by excellent, prompt and friendly support from the developers. Very happy to give it five stars.

Simple and effective. I have had this app for years. (I should mention that I have their movie and music apps too.) I find them to be simple to use if you want to stay simple but still have the ability to make it as detailed as you could need. I found this app to be particularly helpful because I stored my books/media (it does audio books too) in two locations. This helped me to track exactly where they were and/or if I had loaned them out to any of my friends/family. Also, by having my data synced on my home PC as well as the phone, I knew it was always up to date. When I’m out scrounging through garage sales, I can always check my phone to know if I’ve got the book I’m looking at and whether it’s a paperback or hardcover version. I highly recommend this app.

I love it.. Upon discovering in my shelves 3 copies of a biography of Scotty Reston, I realized something had to be done to get control over my growing library. I had been a fan of CLZ’s Music Collector for some time, so I naturally looked to Book Collector for assistance. I love it. I’ve since converted to Book Connect to track the over 2500 titles in my library, but the “loving it” continues. The system is comprehensive, user-friendly, dependable and robust. Does it have every tiny feature I’d like? No. Could it be improved? Yes. But the “Z-Crew” provide regular, free updates. I have no doubt that at some point soon those two answers will be “Yes” and “No.”

Create App Organizer. I am an avid reader and collector. I never thought to have a catalog system for my books. After using this app to get an idea of my library, I found that I purchased several books twice. Donated those to the local library. My only issue is that when I scan books, the app does not always give me a book cover. I did a six-book series that I purchased, and it showed two only. I had to take manual pictures for the others.

Love this app!. I have been using CLZ Books for over 5 years. I have over 1000 books in my collection from children’s fiction, adult fiction, and nonfiction. It was so easy to add my books into the database. I can categorize them how I want so they are easy to find. Plus there is a search button for quick finds. It is so nice to have my entire book collection at the tip of my fingers when I am out shopping. Before using, I can’t tell you how many time I purchased multiple copies of the same book because I couldn’t remember if I already owned it. The support is phenomenal! They responded quickly and even on weekends.

Great way to keep track of your books. I have hundreds of books and I can’t remember what I have and where they are. This app has proved to be a perfect way to keep track. It is easy to enter each book into your database (most new books can be scanned in using your smartphone camera). You can devise a location system so you know exactly where each book is. If you loan a book out you can even log who has it. You can rate your books, log when you read it, where you purchased it and for how much, and so much more. When I am in a bookstore I can easily check if I already have a book I’m thinking of purchasing. I can’t say enough good things about how useful this app is!

Fantastic Book Database. This is one of my favorite apps. I have never had problems with it and it is very flexible with lots of fields and a pleasure to use. Much time can be saved when you are entering a new book because the database will find similar books for you to choose from to complete your entry. There is a multitude of different ways to catalog your books to search for them and update them.I would highly recommend this application for anybody that wants to track books or audiobooks.

Awesome app & excellent support!. I've been using this app for about 2 months, and couldn't be happier. I'm using the app in a slightly unconventional way - not for a personal book collection, but for the school's PTO book collection. The cloud feature of the app allows me to upload all our books, for parents / students to view what's available, and the flexibility of the app allowed me to customize each record to allow for people to select books they wanted. Populating the app was very simple by scanning barcodes, and even when a barcode wasn't available, a manual entry was very easy to do. I did do some editing of records to ensure consistency across our database, but this too was very easy. I also edited a number of cover images by adding my own - again very simple a straightforward! I highly recommend this app. Not only is it comprehensive yet simple, it comes with a first class support team. On occasions when I have had questions, I have dealt with three different support analysts, and each has been highly responsive, knowledgeable and friendly. You can't go wrong with this app!

Great tool for managing my library and eliminating multiple buying of the same book. This system has been a very strong tool in eliminating my purchasing multiple copies of the same book while simultaneously providing me with a listing of books I have read. This provides a synopsis of the book to refresh my memory on the book and in some cases reminds me of the pleasure the book provided or why I rated it so poorly. I enjoyed the application so much I have the application for movies and my son has the application for comic books. Very reasonable price and delivers everything it promises.

Extends my memory so I stop buying duplicates. I love this app. It pairs with the desktop and cloud so I can track what books I have already read, or what number in the series I am on, or whether I have been waiting for more from an author. I treat it as my extended memory. After accidentally buying a couple duplicates years ago, I went looking for something like this. At first it was only available on the desktop, but after a while, they put out this app and now I love having the ability to use it whenever I have a question. I also sometimes use it to add books to my collection when I am traveling. Makes it easy. Have’t needed much support with it either. Once maybe when changing phones, or updating after a long time. Good web site and response, and useful info on the site itself. Very practical.

Best book catalogue. I have been using this app for at least 5 years. I read a lot and it is easy to forget which books I read or which authors I liked. It is easy for me to put the information in this app and keep track of my reading. It is easy to look up different books. I especially like the attention paid to the app by the developer. Friendly emails with updates, and updates are continuous. This app has been very reliable for me - I use their connect site and the app on 2 different devices with no syncing problems. It is worth the money!

Like a Personal librarian, great support!. I have been in the process of moving house and clearing out a family storage unit, thrilled with the books I’m finding, remembering and hoping to organize them all into a great library. I was seriously thinking of hiring a librarian to help me with all this when I found this fabulous app. I am able to seamlessly add volumes by isbn numbers and have manually added obscure volumes, photographing the covers and noting their particular histories. I have been so eager with the newly discovered app, trying to get up to speed, I quickly asked support for some features that I subsequently discovered on my own. I was pleased to get an equally quick answer to my query— how to print out my lists— and can’t wait to do more. I may still hire someone to help me but with this app I am assured that even a student will be able to do a thorough, professional organizing of my library. Bravo! Six stars!

Awesome app and support. I downloaded this app after trying many book tracking apps. I found this to be the best interface to help get my son interested in reading. The cover flow is a great way for my son to see what he has read and help him to keep track of his favorite books. While I was using the generous trial phase the app turned into a subscription. However the company was kind enough to offer me the previous purchase option since I had downloaded it prior to the change. What amazing support! I love this app and company.

A super app for book collectors. The CLZ book program works beautifully. I have over 6300 books and have used this program for several years. I wanted a program that would be easy to use and accurate. I was often buying duplicate books because I could not determine if I already had a certain book. Using this program eliminated this problem. This has to be the BEST program on the market for tracking books and providing the records for insurance in case of fire or theft. I highly recommend this program for anyone trying to keep track of their books.

Best App and Customer Service App Ever!!!!. I am most pleased to post a review for the CLZ Book App. I truly love this app. I searched for a cataloguing library app for years to catalog my book library. For years, I kept a paper copy of my books, but found this to be ineffective due to the fact that my collection over the past twenty-five years had grown by the thousands. But luckily, I kept searching and found the CLZ Book App. A couple of years ago, I read all of the reviews and convinced myself to purchase the app. Over the past couple of years, I have spent so much money on apps that promise, but do not deliver. But after purchasing this app, I can honestly say that my faith was restored. This is the BEST app for developing and maintaining a library. It’s easy to input the information about books and the developers are constantly making changes to make this the best book cataloguing app ever. In the couple of years that I have used this app, I have found the developers are very responsive and responded quickly whenever I had an issue. If you are looking for an app to develop your library, the CLZ Book App is the answer. I highly recommend this app and give it a 5. If I could, I would give it a 5+++++.

User since 2014. I’ve been collecting books my entire life and always wanted a library database like my local library. However, despite my best efforts, cataloging everything in excel and FileMaker Pro took forever and lacked the functionality I craved. I joined the Navy, and while I was in boot camp, my house burned down. My books were in the basement, and were destroyed by the water used to put out the fire. My family looked for a way to easily track my books for insurance purposes, and they found this app. This app answered both their needs and my needs. As I worked to rebuild my library, I kept buying duplicate books since I had a hard time differentiating the books I had lost from the books I had repurchased in my mind. I am now back over 6000 books and counting and I rely heavily on this app as well as the desktop version to keep track of my library. Sure, the core doesn’t have the most accurate or cleaned up data available and many plots are missing, but that allows us the take the data provided and make it our own. It’s a pity they had to change to a subscription service, because whenever I go to book stores or sales, I’m always suggesting CLZ products to my fellow patrons. The barcode scanner saves me tons of time, I just wish there was a mass entry form for isbn numbers instead of opening the entry window, selecting the number keypad, and entering the isbn number. It’d save me a lot of time.

It works!. I just got this app and I love it! It was rocky setting up some of the books I have but didn’t check my email which had a welcome note with clear instructions on how to add books! I contacted customer service with some search questions and received a nice response very quickly. It’s not an automated reply! I even deleted a different book tracking app because this one is easier to use and faster! Feature I like are seeing books I own that are marked read or not read, the ease of scanning. and the folders for categorizing! Oh and the friendly customer service! Thank you!

Best book database I’ve found!!📚. UPDATE: once again, Alwin and his team provide the best customer service available! I noted an issue and received an immediate (less than 2 minutes!) response. Naturally, he was right and I was wrong, oops. Keep your book collection neat and tidy everywhere you go. CLZ Books has to be the best app available! The developers spend countless hours upgrading, improving and revising so that the end user experience is fantastic! I can think of no other app that I recommend so vigorously. Been using CLZ Books for two years now and have been pleasantly surprised. Top quality customer service. (This alone grants the developers 5 Stars) Inexpensive compared to other apps. They are continually interested in updating and improving this app for everyone. Easy to use and enter new books. Very satisfied with CLZ Books. I have been using the CLZ Books app on my iPhone and iPad for a few months now. I have a book collection of just over 1000 books in the system. I have found that the app has plenty of fields for lots of details about the books. While I have used it, the developer has continued to add more information / fields through updates. The app (and the web-based system behind it) allows me to keep everything current across my devices. I am very pleased with the system. I had a few questions early on as I was getting set up and the developer got back to me very quickly with the info I needed. Highly recommended!

Organize your books now. I have two real passions in life. Gardening and billiards. That being said I have a really huge collection of gardening books with almost every book on Clematis in the world and the same can be said with my Japanese Maples books. Tropical books are really exciting to read to find new plants to accent the yard. I had so many books it was hard to remember them all much less know where to go to find what I was looking for. This app and windows program are first rate easy to use and work so easily I am amazed. I also have 2000 movies and over 2500 music cds. So I got their apps for those also and they are life savers. Get them all you can’t go wrong. Much better than all the others that I have tried.

CLZ Books makes reading easy. I love CLZ books! I have been a life-long reader and would keep written lists of books I have read and wanted to read. This app lets me catalog my books and track my reading. You can sort by author or title. It also gives you a picture of the cover! I use other CLZ apps and they are great also. The staff is very helpful if you have an issue and they send out informative emails to always let you know what is coming up or updated in the apps!

Greatest. I love this app. It is exactly what I need to catalogue my books. It’s very flexible and easy to use but provides lots of options for sorting and placing in folders. It also has multiple views of your information. I was really happy to have the free copy to check it out before buying the full version. It does everything I want. I have thousands of books so having the scanner work well is huge. I also like having it on multiple devices. The sync works well. I have been looking for an app like this for years. Can’t say enough good things.

I am amending my review to reflect the wonderful customer service I have received, as well as the functionality of the app. Of all the apps I tried to catalog my antique book collection, CLZ Books is my favorite. I like all the various data you can input, including reading date and price. My collection is from well before ISBN numbers (being published prior to 1900), so ease of manually inputting all of the data I want is important to me. I did try out scanning on one current book and it worked very well, but I haven't explored that side extensively. Edited to add, I just added a sci-fi/fantasy collection and used the ISBN scanner and was wowed by the plot summaries that came up! It's so fun!

Great way to manage library. I’ve been using this app for my books for 4 years and love its clean look,the many options for cataloging and the ease of use. The team regularly updates the app improving functions and features. I no longer get a book I’ve already read. I like to read series books in order and the tracking is fantastically easy. I’ve trialed other apps and this is my pick as the best. A great value with excellent support.

User for almost 10 years now. I cannot say enough good things about this app. It is very stable and incredibly full of useful functionality. I have used this and the Movies version for about 10 years and the games app for almost 5. I am very happy. I keep all my inventory here. I love the layout especially. It has perfect screen real estate use. Not too much “white space” and not too crammed with stuff. It automatically pulls images and plot information and version information from their extensive database. It also lets you configure how you’d like to use it. And of course if you don’t want all the details, you don’t have to put them in. Use as you’d like. :). I love it. I would not change for anything. Even my insurance agent was impressed with it. He accepted this as a viable inventory system fir his purposes as well. :)

Great Support. I have been using this app since rev zero. The best part of this app is that it works. It works well. I have over 500 books in my collection and and am able to use this app to reference them rapidly and clearly. The best part of the app is the support. They are always open to new ideas and they are continuously improving the app performance. They provide the kind of support and improvements that all developers should attempt to deliver. In my mind these folks are the gold standard that all others should be trying to emulate.

Excellent, very useful. After buying another copy of a book that was already in my collection, it was time to get organized. CLZ books not only prevents future instances of that, but also enables me to keep track when I loan a book to others. Plus it enables me to make notes about particular books or authors. The app is frequently updated, and has versions for my PC, phone and web which synchronize. All & all, a very worthwhile tool for anyone who wishes to organize their personal library.

Would Be Lost Without It !. I’m an avid reader and researcher. As a result, my library of books was growing beyond my capacity to manage. Fortunately, some years back, I realized that some software was needed to help maintain some order in this regard. After trying a number of different applications, I settled on CLZ Books. It’s a robust, well thought out program that not only meets my needs, but exceeds them. I was so impressed with the product that I went on to order their comparable Movies and Music apps. They’ve all been life savers.

Awesome App!. Been a user since 2005 and can’t say enough good things about this company. I have over 3K books and can put as much info about each book as I want, then search by almost any criteria. I can keep track of what I have, what I want to buy, sell, or trade; condition, what it’s worth, anything! Sort by Author, Genre, Title, again...anything! I thought the app was great when I first bought it, but with all of the improvements over the years, it’s turned into absolutely fantastic. Enter a book on my home computer and it automatically updates in my phone and visa-versa. Well worth the money. Thank you Alwin & Co!

CLZ Fan. I’ve been using the CLZ Apps for several years. I started out with the Music Collection but soon after, I got the Books app and the Movies app. I have over 500 books in my collection and most of them added easily with the Author’s name or title. I read almost exclusively nowadays from Kindle, but I added paperback books easily with the scan function. Recently, I have been reading newer works that unknown authors self-publish on Kindle because they are a heck of a lot cheaper than top sellers list books. If they are not in the database, they are fairly easy to add to the collection with book covers and an overview of the book. It’s a great app which I use all the time as I read a couple of books a week.

BookCollector App. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my BookCollector program and am always recommending it! I can open the app and add a new book to my 4500+ book collection in just a few seconds! I can look up a book in my library wherever I am! I think the pricing is very reasonable for all the easy usability but also customizable functionality of the PC based program. It is probably my favorite program of all time! They are always tweaking it and they really care about the customers, but by now I think it is pretty perfect. I can add my personal notes on my books to jog my memory. I’ve been using the program for many years (since 2014?). Did I mention that I LOVE IT?!!

Best book catalogging tool. Love this app for keeping my library of books on record and well organized. No more duplicates which can be frustrating as well as expensive. I appreciate knowing my database is available to me on my PC and cell phone via the cloud, with no worries about maximum size. I’ve had this software for years and have enjoyed watching the developers continue to expand and improve its capabilities and design for ease of use. They’re always available and very prompt with functional as well as technical issues. I look forward to the future knowing we can rely on their growth and continuance.

Best product and customer service. Great product for book collector. If you got books this is the best way to record them. I use it across an iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Mac desktop. Seamless. The flexibility of the program is so great that you can record your books in a fashion that highlights what is important to you. You are not pinned down to a specific method that some geek programer in a back room who never owned a book thinks you should use to record your collections. It has flexibility. Further and just as important or maybe more important is the customer service. I have had this product for 5-10 years and have consistently received the best customer service in the business. Every email is answered. First they understand your question and then they answer it. Other software customer service people do not understand the question, and then give you an answer from some script that the mother ship office directs them to use regardless of whether it answers the question or not. Not so here. These guys are terrific. The best in the business. Buy the product.

This App has awesome support!. I purchased the CLZ Book App a few months ago. I have to say that they helped me upload my collection when I was having problems with the CSV file. Their support has been so wonderful. Just recently the App started crashing on me on my phone when I tried to edit a new entry to place it in a collection. I contacted support and they got back to me before the day was out. He asked me some questions and gave me a few things to try. Before I could even try those suggestions out, I got an email saying that they had found the bug and were submitting their solution to Apple. It was so nice to know that there was a real person on the other side of the App and not an automated message. I love this app, for it’s ease of entry and also for the support. I bought the full version and am very happy with it. I am adding to my review just to say that I had a question about moving books from one collection to another so I emailed support. I got an answer back within 15 minutes and the directions were clear and concise. Support is amazing for this app. You can tell the owner/designer takes great pride in the app and in providing support.

Keep track of your books!. Review III(2021) I wish I could give this app 10 stars! The creators are constantly improving and adding features. I’ve never had it fail or crash, and it has all the data points that a retired Librarian could hope for. The only thing I would add is an easy way to record how many times one has read a book, since I am a big re-reader. Great stuff, quality customer service. Keep up the good work! Review II I have used this app for several years after many other trials that did not work well and I must say I have had the best customer service any time I have a suggestion or find an issue. As a book collector I depend on it to show me my existing collection as well as any library books I may read, when I am out at the bookstore. The new ability to separate into collections is great! I have books in boxes and now I don’t have to view them when looking at my collection list. Keep up the good work! Review I I love this app. Could it improve? Yes, but overall awesomeness is present.

CLZ Books. I purchased my CLZ Book Collector mid-2005 to inventory my late husbands book collection which is now over 4000 and counting. First, I have to compliment the CLZ support team for their immediate and helpful response over these years to any inquiries, technical or otherwise. I recently purchased the CLZ Book app. I look forward to utilizing as going through my collection on the app I can maneuver easily, access any title, author, and readily add to the collection. Very happy with CLZ. I have used this app for several months and couldn’t be happier. My book collection is small with 344 books at this time ranging from mysteries to books on Japan, quilting and travel/adventure. A little more than half are nonfiction. I always kept a paper record of my books and their location but feel that is no longer necessary as this app has never crashed or stalled. I will soon have more space for books and with CLZ I feel confident in keeping a larger collection.

User For Many Years. I’ve been a CLZ user for so long I can’t remember what year I originally subscribed. CLZ makes managing my modest collection of just over 700 books (mostly aviation, astronomy and World War II history) a whiz. I particularly recommend the Book Connect option. With it you never need concern yourself with installing updates or wondering if you have the latest version at hand. If you collect and catalog your books but don’t use CLZ then you’re working too hard.

Textbook catalog. I am trying to catalog my husband’s library of about 2500 textbooks in different languages. I searched all over the web and finally came upon CLZ. This sounded just like what I needed. I emailed them to inquire about this and got a positive answer in less than 24 hours. We bought the app and I started to catalog all the books. By now I have entered about 1150 and moved to the cloud. Every time I had a question I got an answer in less than 24 hours. Their support staff is excellent. This is really a great app and I couldn’t be happier with it. I highly recommend it to anyone who tries to catalog their libraries.

outstanding app for cataloging book collection. This app is well worth the (very reasonable) investment. I recently used it to document my 1500-book collection, and that process went quickly and efficiently. The scanner worked for most books, and if the book is too old you can just enter its information manually. There are a ton of optional data fields (author, cover, read vs unread, and many more) which makes this app highly customizable. Overall, this is a well-designed and -implemented app for which they make regular updates and improvements. Highly recommended!

Excellent book database. This database which works on both my iPad and iPhone let’s me know which books I have. And I can mark if I have read the book. Sometimes I am looking for a book by author and I see one I don’t recognize…well sometimes a book will be rereleased with a new cover, with this app I can quickly find out if I already have the book. I have made suggestions to CLZ and they always respond, either they include my suggestions, or explain why they won’t. Excellent support!

Easy to use especially with older, obscure titles. I’ve been collecting since 1976 specializing in movie related novels and easily have over 500. I started using CLZ and it helps me identify and store all kinds of novels, even obscure ones like “The Werewolf vs The Vampire Woman”. You can take a photo of the cover or use what it finds online. It has tons of items you can fill out and if you use it to find it online it will fill out a number of them for you. Recommended.

Essential software. I could not live without this app. I read a lot and this is essential to my ability to remain organised. Some features are a little counter intuitive but once you find them they are great.

Book collector app. This is a great book collector app but I'm upset with it because now you have to subscribe to it and pay for it not happy with that so I'm now in the process of finding another book collector app that you don't need to keep paying for it then I'm going to get rid of this on .

Life changing app for bibliophiles. This app does what it says it will. I have been using it for ten years now and it has changed our lives. We now know what books we own and the value of our collection. It doesn’t put the information in by itself but it does keep it safe once you have entered it. The wonderful support provided by the developers makes me weep that I can’t get the same from work related IT team. Thank you.

Fantastic Product. I have been using for over ten years. Easy to use and allows me to manage a library of 3,600 plus books. The App is regularly and simply updated, providing a product with a great interface and features. I can use from multiple devices and when travelling. Love it when buying books with the mobile App. Importantly easily lists all my books for insurance and research. The automatic cloud backup with CLZ for free is a bonus. Did I say fantastic product.

Excellent App. This Book Collector App is excellent. I have a very large book collection and the ease that I can access what books I have has been essential when searching for both used and new books. I have used the CLZ App for over 7 years with only one recent problem. I contacted CLZ and they corrected the fault Immediately. I used the CLZ App on iPhone and iPad. The ability to enter books that I have and books that I am looking for makes this App excellent.

CLZ Books - A Good Beginning for a Life Journey with Books. CLZ Books helps to introduce an order into a possible book chaos when you have more than few of them. The app has good visuals and presents, among others, book covers on each shelf placed front covers to a viewing user. I have still not figured out if there is an option to quickly place a photo or a scan of a book’s Table of Content, Index or Bibliography straight into the database, which would be handy. Also I do not know if there are options to export or import books from other bibliographic apps on the market.

It's ok.. For the amount of money I have spent updating the software and then purchasing the iPad app I would expect this one to be more intuitive and for things to happen now when I make selections. And is it too much to ask to sync directly with my desktop instead of uploading and downloading through the cloud?

Home book record. Great for keeping track of what l've read. Has much greater potential than what I use it for.

INSURANCE WARNING. In your house contents insurance policy individual books are not replaced individually. They just pay an estimate of you loss! However books or movies etc are called collectables. If a record of each individual book is recorded it can be presented to the insurance company and they have to REPLACE THEM OR THE VALUE THERE OF ! CLZ Books is the answer, the perfect answer. Easy to use, loads book and its details in a flash. Copy on my phone + phone icloud back up+ CLZ icloud, back it up and they do it free. Do you have a collection of books you love and re read. Then buy this app. If your house/ apartment burns down you have the proof you are not trying to commit fraud. I photograph my furniture and all valuables. CLZ books 5 stars+ and sleep easy. Also if you are looking in a book store you can check on your phone if it is a book you already have with just an updated flashy cover.

Simple and efficient to use. Calling into a book shop, finding potential books of interest, I can quickly scan them prior to purchase to ensure they are not already on my Read List. Upon purchase of a new book the ap allows quick addition to my extensive library .

Excellent App. We have a large collection of books. This app allows us to catalogue our collection and in doing so provides a real time view of books on hand. It also serves as a valuable resource to provide guidance for insurance coverage and the family with what is available to be borrowed.

Latest update overwrites database. Expensive but good until latest update. Onscreen icons not intuitive and it overwrote my database so I needed to download from my pc again. No warning.

Finally I can take it with me. Excellent, finally I can take my collection list when I go shopping. So easy to sync with the main Book Collecter application. 5 stars.

Extremely useful and very easy to use. This is one of the most useful apps around. I quite often forget which books I have read - especially when out looking in the bookstore - no more! A quick search on my iPhone and I can find if I have already bought the book that takes my interest. The new Cloud Sync makes synchronisation between my iDevices and my PC effortless. Definitely recommend.

The best forever. Have been using CLZ since it was a standalone desktop program. Through the years the developers have worked consistently to keep up with technology and incorporate requests from users. It is intuitive and invaluable and wholly worthwhile keeping a list of my book collection. I track ebooks, audiobooks and paper books and know what I have and where it is at all times. Fantastic app and cloud backup.

Excellent book library app. It’s taking a few years but this app now rocks as a result of all the enhancements in recent times. It appears to have much greater access to all books as I rarely have to enter them in manually. It’s easy to use and allows me to catalogue location, purchase shop & price plus add my own ratings and reviews. I highly recommend it.

No functionality. Yes, they clearly state it's not a standalone app, however charging $10 for something that has absolutely no functionality is ridiculous. After purchasing CLZ Movies and being very happy with it (barcode scanning especially), the inference is that the apps from the same company, at the same price, would have the same interface and functionality. Not the case here. It's just a browser to your book database that has to be sent from your computer to the iPhone. No data entry, no sorting, no barcode scanning. Nothing. Save yourself the money and just export your books into a flat file from your computer and copy that to the iPhone.

Could be better. Not value for money. Would like to see free upgrade with greater functionality.. I love Collectorz Books database on the PC but I am afraid for the money the Iphone link does not seem reasonable value. It is great having the database on my Iphone but not at that cost. Believe price should have been less or greater functionality incorporated. Overall, would like to see enhanced functions incorporated into a free upgrade.

Collectorz Book Collector. Excellent software, I have been using it for almost 10 years. Support for the product is also excellent and timing of replies to support requests are received in a timely manner, within 24 hours of it being sent. I have even received a reply within 2 hours, depending on the time differences between Australia and The Netherlands. I strongly recommend this product and the other Collectorz products to anyone needing a way of cataloging their collections, whether it is books, music or movies as it is in my case.

Updated version wont run!. Latest update on iPod, but unable to get anything to work. App closes after 20 seconds or so.

Amazing app. When I first got the book collectors app, I found very complicated but as I start using it I was amazed at the different categories that you can allocate your books. I was also very pleased how fast they reply when you need some support, even on weekends you can get replies. I am very happy that I have the book collectors app in my Apple computer, my iPhone and my iPad, all in the Apple family. I will always recommend to anyone who is looking for an app for books. Brilliant. I have always had a lot of books and for a while there my job had me moving from state to state a lot. Books were lost, baling books for a removal became harder as I got more and actually being able to say what they lost was a problem. When I got this app a few years back it was fantastic. I can now have my library in my pocket when I shop and can see what I need, if I have a book already even if they release it with a new cover and title and I can put together my Wishlist meaning my family can now get gift ideas from me instead of guessing. It’s the little things done right that make this a brilliant app.

Such a helpful app!. I love this app - it’s great to be able to keep track of my book collection, and to be able to check it when I’m out and about. I often forget what I already own, and when in a bookstore it’s so helpful to be able to check and see if I already have a copy of something when I spot a bargain :)

Superb App. This app is the best I have. Having used it for more than five years, I have been amazed at the frequent positive changes that have been made to enhance the depth of information which it holds. It is comprehensive but simple to use. My main use is to keep track of a prestige collection of around 300 books on one artist with publication dates starting in 1938 and continue until the present. The library is for use by my wife as she works on a PhD related to the artist’s work. Information must be accurate and diverse and it delivers all we need.

Not happy Jan!!. Thought this sounded like the perfect app to catalogue the hundreds of books I have at home, but I can't get it to work!! It looks as though you need to purchase from the online website first to put the base catalogue on your pc, then this app should be free and should be advertised as a mobile read-only library of your stuff at home. Absolutely gutted and feel ripped off...

Fantastic App. Having a rather large collection of books I’ve tried many apps for cataloging them and CLZ is by far, BY FAR, the best of them. The tech support is great if you have a problem, which doesn’t happen very often. I know that their app for movies is also fantastic. I would imagine that the apps for games, music, comics, etc. are also excellent. I would recommend all their products without reservations

Great app, app icon needs work. This app is pretty great. I only use it to track the books I’ve read not necessarily books I actually own. I found buying books kinda of wasteful so I just borrow books from the library. The icon could be better. It looks more dated than the previous one.

Great Easy App!. I started with their comic book app and found it to be amazing for the great detail and easiness to use. After buying a few books and taking them home and then only after reading it for a bit and realizing that I have already purchased/read the book (but a new cover or just totally forgetting I had), I decided to try their app for tracking my books as well. Just like the comic version, I have no complaints and recommend it to everyone that reads a lot. Any issues I have had, their super fast response time (easily gotten the answers within 24 hrs) is superb!

Amazing App and Amazing Support. So, I’ve had this app for multiple years. Completely recommend to everyone and I haven’t found another app that provides the same level of support and app creation. There are so many options for collectors and for casual book-lovers to personalize your catalogue. So, recently I had a issue with the app. My accounts weren’t syncing to the cloud. So i sent in a email support request at 8:28 am and received a reply at 8:41! I didn’t have to sit for hours worrying. They guided me through what I needed to do and have access on their end to see what the problem is. My issue had been solved at 10:00 am on the same day!! I cannot thank the customer support agent enough for the fast service and the great guiding!! 100% would recommend this app!

Book library. The app is truly amazing. It’s intuitive and easy to use. Not only has it allowed me to (finally)stop buying multiple copies of the same book, but I’m now able to find the location of a book in my library quickly.

Superb! Compliments the PC app. I have been using Collectorz software for many many years, specifically the Book, Music, Comics and Movies programs.When they introduced mobile apps that would link to your collections, I was thrilled. They work very well, the database that they maintain is quite detailed… It is somewhat rare for me to find a book that isn’t in their collection, and when that DOES happen, it’s fairly easy to submit it TO their collection. I am especially thrilled that the camera on the iPad or iPhone can be used to scan barcodes… When I originally set up my databases, it was a lot more arduous than now, using that ISBN scanning technique. Customer service, when I’ve needed it, has always been prompt to respond and excellent in their response. About the only thing I’d change in Book Collector mobile App (in all the apps, really) is to have the Subtitle of the book appear in the main list, as well as the Title. But all in all, an excellent product that I highly recommend to my friends often.

Great all around!. I’ve been using the CLZ software and app for several years now and absolutely love it. I’m “old school” and prefer using my computer in general, but love the freedom and quick reference for seeing my books on the go via the phone app. Both methods have advantages for me personally. And finally, the Customer Service is amazing. They are knowledgeable and prompt in their replies. I have nothing but good things to say!

Great book catalogue. Love working with this app. Books can be entered by scanning their barcode, so it’s a powerful cataloguing system that’s very quick and easy to use. I make heavy use of options that allow you to personalize the settings and stored details, so it’s tailored to my needs. Over the 7 years that I’ve used this app, I’ve seen lots of improvements. The developers are in-tune with their customers—if we ask for new functionality, it’s actually considered and often implemented. I even had the owner email me when I had an issue!

Ultimate Digital Librarian. I love how the CLZ Books app keeps me organized with my home library. Easy to use - whether it is adding new titles, personal information or searching, it’s been a solid tool for helping to stay on top of an ever growing collection!

Charged twice!. I got the latest update to this program and it didn't work. It would show the start screen and then close. I remembered that the last update required a re-sync that I hadn't done yet, no problem, I'll just uninstall and then redownload and sync. I uninstalled the program, then redownloaded it. Normally, it gives you a warning that you already own it and asks if you want to download it for free. This time, it didn't ask, it just charged me again for an app that I already own. :(

Organized. I like to be organized and this app lets me do that. It helps me keep track of all my books from different applications and books I have hard copies of. Tracking for my favourite authors and series. Great for tracking which books, authors, series titles you’re missing in your collection. Barcode scanning allows for things to be added quickly. All the CLZ mobile apps are great for this

Just what I needed…. I had been using another app for a few years when it came time to upgrade my phone. Turns out, that app was no longer supported!! I lost all of my data on my 800+ book collection and was going to have to start again. That’s when I found CLZ Book. I couldn’t be happier. It’s easy to use, well organized and all of my data is stored in the cloud so I don’t have to worry about losing it again. This app is well worth the investment if you are trying to organize your library or collection. Also comes in handy when buying new books since authors are re-releasing titles with new covers so you can easily check what you already have.

CLZ Books App. I love this app. I have also recommended to many people. I find most all books old and new are in the data base. I have had to manually enter the odd book. I love it as when I am on the go I can check also what books I have already. I “had” a habit if buying the same book again. IKR Crazy! I have over 1600 books and added them quickly and seamlesly. Thanks guys and gals at CLZ.

I keep forgetting. For ages I had no idea how many books were in my personal library. Also when I went into a book store I frequently couldn’t recall which books in a series I was missing Even worse I would find a book that looked so good by an author I liked. Buy it. Get it home only to discover I had it. CLZ fixes all of these. It even lets me track books I loan to friends so I can gently remind them to return them. If you have any of these problems this is the app to help you.

Rip off scam!. $10 for a viewer only? Are they kidding? Then another $10 if you want to just view on your iPad? $30 for the desktop program and extra for upgrades? Promised editing and additional functionality in the iApps for years now, but never delivered, just an endless money pit for empty promises. These bozo's only added limited eBook support after many people complained and pointed out that Calibre was doing for free what this developer claimed was impossible. Save your money. This arrogant bunch are just a sick joke.

Keeping track of your books made easy. Great app to keep track of your own books and the ones from friends or Library you’ve read. CLZ Support team actually listens and responds to individual clients as needed. The app continuously improves from one version to the next, based on their expertise and the feedback they get. Multiple Collections!. I am so happy with the newest version of CLZ Books. Now I can finally keep separate lists of my “regular” books versus those in my craft library. It’s very easy to transfer books to a new collection if they’re already in the database, so you don’t have to re-scan anything. The only thing I would tweak is to have the Search function work across collections, rather than just the one you’re currently viewing. I use this app in conjunction with the Book Collector desktop app, and the collections sync nicely from one to the other. The collections are also easy to view in the CLZ Cloud. I also use the Music and Movies apps and desktop versions. This collection of software adds value to my day-to-day activities, and is the only software I ever thought worthwhile to pay for a service/renewal plan.

Does it all. Cover to Cover. I had tried a few catalogue apps for my book collection. Most were okay, but they didn’t do everything I wanted, or they were too difficult to manoeuvre through, or just too expensive. Then one day, about 7 or 8 years ago, the one I was using just quit working. I couldn’t even get into it to export what I had already entered in. I went online and found out that it was done, no longer supported, and no questions would be answered. So I went online and started looking. It didn’t take long. I found a reference to Book Collector. This was an app that I could download and it looked like it would everything that I wanted. It was a reasonable price, and so I decided to give it a try. FABULOUS ! FABULOUS ! FABULOUS ! It does everything I need, and does it well, and smoothly, and with over 3500 books on my shelves, that’s important. Since then I have switched to their cloud service, CLZ Books. I no longer have to use my memory space. I just log in, make entries, deletions or changes and it’s done. The price is still very reasonable. This is the best book cataloguing service of any I have ever used. They also offer apps or cloud service for collectors of Movies, Music, Comics and Games. This team of developers has done and continues to an outstanding job. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who has a library to keep track of.

Well worth the money!. This is an excellent app! It makes physically organizing your collection on shelves a breeze. Plus, no longer will you have to get up and search through your collection to find if you have a title by a certain author. You can scan your collection in a matter of seconds in order to find out. Since I have it on my phone as well as my iPads, I can use it in the bookstore, too. No more buying an older title only to find out I had purchased it years before. Support is excellent as well. I have the CLZ Movies app, too. I love them both!

I have so many titles in different formats and different places, i can not keep track without CLZ.It’s reliable, customizable, fun to work with. Syncs perfectly with its PC version. Good App. I've been look for an iOS app for some time to keep a library of the books I've read, so when I'm in a store I can scan the database to see if I've already read it. Very frustrating to get home and find out I already have a copy. CZL solves that issue. The bar scanner is really fast and adding my whole library was done in 30 mins.

A great app for Book Collectors - 5/5 performance. I have used CLZ Books since 2018, to manage my book collection of 4000+ volumes. The App is functionally rich and a pleasure to use. The App is updated at least once every quarter with new functions and improvements and is rock solid when it comes to performance and reliability. Well worth a 5 star ranking IMO.

Great App!. Easy to use. I was able to upload a few hundred books very quickly by scanning.

Not worth it. Total ripoff Bought the original version and found out you had to buy the software for the computer to make it work. Bought the software and founded so cumbersome that I switched to book crawler. Saw the update and decided to try it. bought it for $15 and found out to get it to work properly you need to buy a yearly subscription upgrade their software. Sticking with book crawler for $2 works with out the hassle and cost

Warning!. You do NOT own your own data according to CLZ. They have rules which are NOT in the acceptance policy. If you sell a book in your collection, they can sue you If your collection is sold in an estate, they can sue you If you use nonproprietary data (ISBN info) on any website, they can sue you. STAY AWAY, lots of others out there that don’t try to own YOUR data.

Great App / Great Support. I have all the CLZ apps and accompanying PC programming, and have had some for approximately ten years, and love them. I recently had a minor issue with the CLZ Book app, but customer support cleared it up very quickly. Highly recommended for collections big and small.

Love this app. Excellent way to keep track of the books I’ve read. Easy to add books to the collection, very few I’ve had to add manually so far. And I’ve read some oddball stuff. I had a small problem when I moved from a monthly to yearly plan and support was very responsive; led me through the fix and got me going quickly. CLZ Books, et al. I have three programs: CLZ Books, CLZ Barry and CLZ Book Collector. Have 9800+ books (ebooks & paperbacks) on CLZ Books on my PC and 4800+ on CLZ Book Collector on my ipad ebooks only. I scanned the ISBN’s from the paper backs and manually entered ISBN’s for ebooks to download from the Collector’s database. If the ebook wasn’t in the data base, I manually entered the data. Now my books are indexed by author and have the series number all with no duplications and a wish list as well. Wonderfully easy to use and sync between devices. Support from the developer is fast, comprehensive and always satisfying. Frequent updates and enhancements. Highly recommend this suite of apps and give them a five star rating.

Great for book lovers!. I've been using the app for four years, and although I do not use all the features that it offers, I love it! It helps me in the library or bookstore, keeping me from getting books I've already read. It is easy to use, and I get reminders about new upgrades and fixes as they happen!

Keeps me sane. I have had this app since 2018. This is the one app that has kept me sane. It does everything I need around books. All the memory is stored on the app so I do not have to worry about memory space. I have almost 800 books and this app has made it easier for me to know what I have, keep track of where the book is ( I am able to include notes on a book if I have to lend it out to friends or family) and adding new books is easy. I highly recommend this app to anyone who has or is planning to build their home library.

Excellent app to keep track of books. I’ve been using this app for many years to record books as I read them. I have the app on my iPad and phone and they are easy to sync so that they are both updated. Since I read 70+ books a year the app has been invaluable to track if I’ve previously read a book. I like that I can rate each book and add a note about it. I’ve never had a problem with it.

Great App. As a pastor, I have accumulated a lot of books, most for reference purposes. My problem was that I would know I had a book, but couldn’t find it in the collection. A friend told me about this app and it has made a big difference. I now have my books cataloged by Library of Congress number and can locate them easily. Anyone who collects books should try the app.

Amazing set of apps!. I have been using the CLZ apps for years to catalog my music, my books and my movies. The apps are easy to use, both in adding new titles and in viewing my collections. It is great to have all this information at my fingertips when I’m out at a record store or looking for a new movie to buy to make sure I don’t already have what I’m looking at. Highly recommended!

Very useful. I am really enjoying this app. Now I know where all my books are. The barcode scanning feature is a time saver and provides quite a complete record. I like to loan out books, but often can’t remember who has them. I created a location for books “on loan” so now I can easily keep track of everything.

Still satisfied. I have used CLZ Book Collector for several years and it is still the best database on the market in my opinion. It has saved my time and money (not buying duplicates) over this time. The mobile app is easy to use. It is the best investment you can make if you are a collector.

Long time user. Very happy using this app. Easy to keep track of what I have and what I need. When I come across a book I want to read there are multiple ways to add it to my needs list and because it’s on my phone it’s always available to check.

Excellent way to organize your books.. With this app, you will always have the titles of the books you have read or want to read in a very organized and easy to use format. No more going to the library or book store and not remembering if you already read a particular book.

Outstanding. I have been using the desktop version for years, just recently the app. The most trouble free programs you will find. On top of that, if there ever is a problem, their customer service is the best I’ve dealt with. Customer service response is fast and best of all, knowledgeable. For the minor issues I’ve contacted them about, all have been resolved promptly and without issue.

Perfect for Organizers!. I love to organize and as a homeschool mom I have nearly 1,000 books. Keeping them organized would be such a chore but this app makes it so easy! I love being able to scan the ISBN of a book to add it to my booklist. And pro tip: if you have lots of older books with no barcode, I’ve found the fastest way to enter them is to go to the keyboard for typing it in, and then click on my microphone and quickly say the numbers. Works great!

Excellent Support. I’ve been using CLZ Books for a long time and never need support because the app is intuitive but recently I ran into a issue that was unique. CLZ support quickly got back to me, we worked through the issue and successfully fixed it. I give CLZ Books top notch for easy of use, functionality, comprehensive database and excellent support.

Helps me stay organized 😊. I live in a three story house with books on each level. CLZ lets me “remember” where I can locate a specific title. It’s relatively easy to enter new titles with accompanying images & data. And books I’ve loaned or gifted to someone there is a note field to track that info too. I’d recommend it to anyone who buys 📚

Great app!. I’ve been using this app for years and love it. They keep making it easier to use & are very responsive when I have a question or problem. I especially like that I can customize the titles of my books making it easier to navigate the many series I read.

FANTASTIC APP + Customer Service!. I have the Music, Comic, Book, Game & Movie app installed on MY device. I use ALL of them regularly to keep a inventory of ALL MY digital & physical media. I’ve been a user since 2012 and was happy when the apps became available on the App Store. Had a issue with one of the apps and Alwin responded immediately. The problem was resolved. Thanks! I recommend any of the CLZ apps to anyone looking to inventory or at least try to keep UP with their “STUFF”

Excellent book collection program. I ha e been keeping track of my many, many books first with a paper journal and then with a debase database. I wish CLZ had been around when I started many yeRs ago. This is a remarkable program that has made my collection much easier to manage. I really like the coordination with their online book database.

Need to add book valuation. My brother uses your app to maintain his comic book collection that has valuations that update regularly. I would like to see that in this app for my book collection. There does not seem to be any valuation app out there for my first edition books. At the very least valuation software for first edition books would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Great app keeps improving. I’ve been using this app to keep track of my books for years now. Data entry is easy. And for me the ability to have it sync on all of my devices is great. Also, anytime I’ve had a tech question, the response has been super fast. Highly recommended!

Exactly what I needed. I have relied on the CLZ app for over a year to keep track of my books. I was relieved to discover it, as my collection is currently over 1,300. The first thing I do upon receiving a new book is to put in the app. It is easy to do and is customizable as far as adding personal details—price, where bought, etc. Excellent app.

Finally organized. As an avid book lover and a bargain hunter so this app is great for me. It allows you to enter information like where got the book from and where it sits on your bookshelf. You are able to search by author or topic and it’s convenient when out shopping at book fairs, thrift stores or even on eBay. I have used this app for over 3 years now and love it.

Must have. CLZ Books is a must have for book collectors and readers. A quick check and you know if you have the book in your collection. So many options to enhance your database. The support team responds quickly on the rare occasion yohave a problem. Two thumbs up

Best app ever!!. CLZ Books is my go to app for tracking my book libraries. I rely on it whenever I purchase new books or audiobooks to avoid duplicating purchases. I recommend the app to all my friends. The customer support function is also outstanding. I recently had an issue and contacted customer support for help. They responded quickly and helped solve my issue. Having such customer support makes the app that much better.

Ok but needs work... I’m a big fan of your comic book app and wanted to have a list of my books on hand also. Your book app isn’t as organized as the comic one. Most of the books I put in are all over the place and not grouping very well. Most of my books I’m having to look them up because not scanning. Most listing for them are user done or had to do myself. I have a lot of books from Dragonlance, Aliens, Predator, Dark Sun, etc.. and they don’t group together. To get them together, I’ll have to go into each one and edit them to group by series. Kinda disappointed I bought this before trying it. Thought it’d be as organized as the comic one.

Best app ever for my home library. I’ve been so grateful for this app when on the go. I buy books from thrift stores and library bookstore. As I enjoy a home library with options, this application keeps me from buying second copies, catalogues books in series and helps me know when I discard or donate a book to charity.

Super Helpful. My husband and I have more books than we can keep track of and one of us occasionally bought a book that we already had. This easy to use app has solved that problem. I add books with the ISBN photo and designate a particular bookcase in our home where it can be found. Easy!!

Love this app!. We have so many books and of course, acquiring more, so this app allows me to keep easy track of our collection and add new ones as we go. I use it all the time when I’m a bookstore. I love personalizing notes on books I’ve read and it’s so easy to use. I highly recommend this app.

Perfect for our Clubhouse library. Love this app. It works perfectly for our community library of more than 5,300 books. Our card catalog used to be 3x5 index cards that were never updated regularly, so CLZ Books really helps to keep track of what we have.

Top Notch App!. The CLZ Book app is the best app available for keeping track of your book collection. I use this app a lot when I go to Barnes & Noble. I can’t always remember if I have already purchased a book, so I open the CLZ Book app and check my collection. It has saved me several times from making duplicate purchases. I look through my collection a lot and it is just a great source of reference!

The best cloud database I’ve found!. For years I’ve tried several systems to manage my book collection database. I’ve created Excel & Access spreadsheets & databases nothing seem to fit the bill. Spreadsheets although functional lack of visual component that is important to manage your collection. Collectorz is the best app which allows me to store my database in the cloud and access it from all my devices!

Excellent database. I love this app, it’s easy to use and once a book is entered, it’s easy to navigate. You can do a search easy enough which helps when you have as many books as I do and looking to buy another one? I highly recommend this app for anyone looking for a database to enter there book collection.

Great! Saves me a ton of money!. So easy to use! We have so many books! Before I got this app, I was buying books I already had because I’d forget we had it. Now, I look in the app to make sure we don’t have the book before buying. It has certainly saved us money. Also, customer service is very responsive. They get back to you quickly and are very respectful and helpful. I recommend this app!!

Boyfriend’s Library. I have been hand cataloging and boxing up my boyfriend’s library for weeks now. There has to be at least a thousand books, bookshelves in every room. I have found many duplicates because he doesn’t recall which ones he has already bought. Now that I have the CLZ app I am saving so much time and he’ll never buy another duplicate! Loving it!

Great app for readers. As an avid reader and book collector, I have found this app a necessity. I use it in conjunction with my Collectorz log in on my laptop. I have over 2400 books in my personal library. When I am out and about and see a book I might be interested in buying, I can quickly look it up on CLZ Books and avoid buying a duplicate.

Love this app. I’ve been using this app for over a decade, and it keeps me from purchasing duplicates. Not only do I enjoy the book database capability, but I particularly appreciate the customer support. The two times I have needed help, I have received a response within 24 hours. They also update the app on a regular basis, so they are always working to offer an improved product. This is a great app for book collectors.

Great. I like this app. It’s simple, but it gets the job done. I love that it allows you to download your list of owned books (in multiple formats) so they can me uploaded to other apps that track reading statistics. There is a subscription option for those who want backup cloud storage too. I had an issue with my cloud account, but when I emailed for support, I was helped immediately. The agent was extremely, kind, helpful, and quick in helping me.

Top Notch Customer Support. I love this APP ! The customer support is FAST and friendly and very efficient. My problem was resolved quicker than I anticipated. I have used their Comic Book app for a long time and just recently started to catalog my book collection in their Book app. I could not be happier. Thank you to CLZ for a fine product. Wonderful app. Like all of the catalog tools, they offer this app is amazing. I have over 1,500 physical & digital books plus over 2,000 magazines and the app lets me track them with super fast reports and plenty of group by options. A must buy if you want to avoid buying duplicates or want to know what you have for insurance purposes or the pure joy of it. Collectorz has been keeping my collections organized for a decade now.

useless currency field. The latest update touts “a setting for choosing a currency other than USD!” Wow. Now the books I buy in USD can be denominated in EUR if I choose, instead of books bought in EUR denominated in USD. Or I can have all my USD and EUR books listed as GBP. How on earth do the makers of this app think this can be useful? I’ve asked more than once for a multi-currency field, so that I don’t have to use the “notes” field to enter the price I pay for books. But I’m told this would be “too complicated.” It’s curious that the developers of this otherwise powerful app can’t accommodate such a simple request.

Wow! Saves me money. I am an avid collector. Before I started using this App, I would often buy duplicates. Because I can check this App prior to purchase, I no longer buy unwanted duplicates. It also enables me to enhance my collection. I can use the App to check the edition, condition, and presence of a dust jacket. If you are a serious, or avid collector, you need this App. It is easy to use and the tech support is exceptional.

Great home cataloging system for personal library. In process of loading over 2200 printed books into CLZ Books. Learning curve is fast. Great features and able to customize for my needs. I bought both PC and IOS versions and the latest update was to auto sync. Customer and Tech support tops also. Great job.

Perfect for the classroom!. I love this app! I have been a teacher for 29 years and have been trying to keep track of all of my classroom books. I have over 1,000 children’s books that are now organized nicely with in this app. I love the features of being able to tag the book with key words for future searches. Uploading books is easy and quick.

It just gets better!. I’ve been using CLZ Books for probably 15 years. First on my desktop, then on my laptop, then on my phone, and now mostly on my iPad. I’ve seen all the changes and updates and I just LOVE this app! It keeps getting better! Even when I had a small glitch, the great crew was right on it and had it fixed in no time! I recommend it and show it off any chance I get, mostly at bookstores!

Couldn’t Live Without. I’ve used CLZ for years and totally depend on it to maintain my over 2,200 book list. Originally I imported my, considerably smaller list, from another book collector app and found that CLZ far surpassed the other app. The many available fields make it easy to track whatever is important to you. Anytime I’ve had a question support has replied to my query quickly. Support is absolutely awesome.

User for over 15 years. The Book Collector app not only keeps our collection at our fingertips it also includes our wishlist of books to read. Especially helpful when in a bookstore locally & traveling by informing us what we own, read or want to read. Great place for books!. I love CLZ Books! I have over 1,000 books in the App. It is easy to use. Love that it shows the covers and that you can read a summary on the book to jog your memory later. The “help” feature is awesome I received a quick reply and it was very helpful!

U.S. user. Have used CLZ Books for several years (including the updates and revisions during that time, and am very pleased with its functionality. Have catalogued my 3000+ books using iPhone (app) and laptop/web site (integrated with the app) - works well always. Only time I ever needed assistance (when learning my way through one of the newer versions/update), Alwin was prompt in answering my questions and guiding me to resolution. Highly recommended. Joe R

Great support experience. I had a problem with the app crashing with the latest release. I submitted a support request and they quickly got back to me, stepping me through how to send a crash log. They then quickly fixed the problem and let me know to install the new version from the App Store.

Does exactly what you need. I’ve been cataloging my books for years with CLZ, through many of its incarnations, and simply put, it does exactly what I need it to do, and does it very well. Quick easy process to enter new titles, and plenty of space and tabs to enter all manner of details. Heartily recommended

Organized reading. For years I’ve struggled to organize all the books I want to read, have read or plan on reading. The database is simple and reliable. I’ve never been unable to find a book and add it to my collection (database). I like that I can search by ISBN, title, author, etc...A great program that organizes at least part of my life.
