Reliable. Incredibly resourceful, never leave the dock without checking. Updated frequently so you can rely on it as long as you monitor (weather changes quickly and sometimes without warning). Customer service is very responsive. I highly recommend this app.

Stopped working. App just repeated was is available from other sources without adding any value. Now it has stopped working completely. Don’t waste your time.

To basic to pay for!!!. Not worth it, there are free apps that do more than this one. No radar no buoy readings no maps just 2 line blurb about the that days/weeks weather. I bought Outcast app at the same time. Much better, same price but everything you would expect that this one SHOULD'VE HAD. Don't bother with this one people, its a waste.

Accurate, Reliable, and Easy. I use this app everyday and refer to my clients to use. It is extremely accurate and very dependable. I am on the water several times a week. I use this app along with another, but has been my favorite go to app for sure.

My state not covered???. I just purchased this app to keep an eye on current lake conditions in my state only to find out that Utah is not listed as a state option. Rip off!!!

The ONLY ONE…. Thus is the ONLY Marine weather app that focuses on providing the all-important and primary source NOAA Marine Area Forecast for your area. Getting hung up on point forecasts is a great mistake, when weather predictions are based on large scale forces over large geographic areas. Check Area Forecast on Boating Weather by Blue Whale. Then go geek out on the distractive bells & whistles on the other apps. This is the FIRST and Primary marine weather app we require for all of our boating/cruising students at Shearwater University.

Frustrated. One of my favorites (Long Island Sound East of New Haven) is stuck on March 30th and will not update to the current date. Same thing for a friend of mine.

Alaska living. I’m a guide in AK and use this app all the time. We have up to 30’ of water exchange twice a day so knowing the tide paired with weather is kinda important. This app has kept me safe.

Inaccurate forecasting. Of all the weather apps I use it is the most inaccurate. The wind speed and direction are the biggest problem and for boaters this is by far the most important factor to know! The other problem is that it is not updated during the day. Most weather apps are updated at least hourly.

Text Size. Love this app, been using it for many years and it’s the best. Not sure if it was the latest update but my forecast font is tiny, have to pinch and zoom which is not that convenient. Double checked my phone settings all set there. Thank you

Boat Weather. This is a wonderful app. I live on Cape Cod and boat all the time. It's simple and gives you just what you need without trying to wade through the NOAA website!!!

My Go Marine Weather App!. This is my favorite app when I need to quickly look ahead to Get a brief forecast. I only wish they would offer a longer look ahead.

Fake news. This app is terrible whoever post what the wave forecast are going to be is probably same people who decide how long snapper season is .This Saturday for port fourchon to lower achafayala 20-60nm the app said 4-7ft with a occasional 9ft wave #👌wrong well we went and fact checked them and seas were 1ft or less the whole day. This app can be trusted about as much as Rachael Maddow #fakenews #fakewaves

Best marine weather app!!!!!!!!!!!!!. No comparison to any other marine weather app on app store. Im an avid fisherman and bought and tried them all.., hAnds down this is the last one you will ever buy And will be an integral part of keeping updated on changing conditions for any boating needs!

Would be awesome with a widget!. Simple to use. It would be a five star app if there was a widget that provided weather info for your current area.

Where's Charlotte Harbor. Not sure why Charlotte Harbor is not included. It's a huge inshore fishing and sailing spot. Tampa Bay is listed. No good to me if I can't access Charlotte Harbor. Before you buy, confirm your location is represented.

I'd like a refund. If you do any web search for noaa marine forecast for your area, you get the exact same information, verbatim ...for free. This app does not add any additional value whatsoever.

Recent problems. I used to love this app and use it all the time but it doesnt work any more. It just says “loading” and never shows any information. They dis an update but it still doesnt work.

What happened?. After the update my font is so small I have to squint to read it. Any settings to change this. Useless to me like this.

Stopped downloading NOAA weather. Worked well for years to easily see NOAA weather zones text forecasts. Then it just stopped working.

No longer works.. Used it a lot in the past. This App is Crap now. It's literally been "loading" for more than 40 hours. Useless. G O N E from my phone & laptop. I'll find an app that works. App Store should offer a "no star" rating for totally useless apps.

When it works - I love it. Often I can not get it to load and work properly.. I like the app when it actually works. I’ve deleted it and downloaded it again. The trouble is that it seems often that that I get a blank screen instead of my forecasting lll.u

Simple and I like Simple. Set your zone the open up the app and get my forecast. No more trying to get to noaa website or all the other weather garbage.

Great app but needs to be updated. NOAA has split the Connecticut Long Island Sound (East of New Haven/Port Jefferson) into two new zones. Please update your feed from NOAA Thanks

Great sea state info for your area. As a diver this app is a big help to see what the sea state is in my area before I waste time trying to go out diving in rough weather. Love this app

This is my new go to app. I used seatows app until there recent catastrophic update rendered that app useless to boaters. This is exactly the information all boaters need to know! Bravo on an app well done!

Quick way to reference NWS forecast. This app is a great way to reference the national weather service forecasts. I’ve been relying on it for years as the captain of passenger vessels. The only reason I gave I four stars is because I really wish you could access the marine synopsis.

Missing a huge area. It seems to be missing the northeast shoreline of Lake Huron- all of it north of Au Gres.

Great app data missing. App would get 5 stars but only shows near shore for lake Michigan where is the open lakes forecast????

Solid but missing a couple of things. I really like the simple NOAA display, but it REALLY needs to offer an option to read the forecast discussion, not just the predictions.

Apparently not for inland waters. No apparent options for weather conditions on inland waterways. This is not clear from the app advertisement or title. "Boating Weather" would seemingly not be limited to coastal only.

Good weather overview. This simple and handy. Not too much information, just what you need for your outings. Was definitely a good buy.

Time Saver. I like how this is simple and to the point. There's a good list of locations that is well organized and it's definitely more convenient than looking up the info online when it's right in my pocket. This will be especially great to have now that the weather is getting nicer out because we love to take our friends and family out on the water. Now we'll know how the conditions will be before we get there.

Would be nice to know!. Terrible app that doesn't even include Lake Mead in Nevada! It's a huge lake that 1,000's use daily and has choppy water in windy weather. Would be very useful and save me time if this area was included. Total waste of $2

Mr. Do NOT Buy!! This is one of the worst apps I have ever bought. It is the first time I am disappointed in apple for letting such garbage be sold. You get one line of information that is very vague. No detail only one information screen. Do NOT Buy this!!!

Doesn't work for Puerto Rico. There is no disclosure that this app does NOT include PR as one of the states (even though PR is a US territory). I purchased this app and now i can't even use it! If I don't get my money back then you people robbed me. There should be a disclosure!!!!

Accurate info to plan the day. Useful and clean. Gives me everything I need to know plan when and where to head out. Have used it a few times and have found the data very accurate. Can't beat the price either! Recommend this app if you boat or sail frequently or occasonally.

Great intuitive app for coastal boating weather. Although the weather data appears to be limited to coastal regions this app provides one of the simpler and most elegant ways to display NOAA offshore weather information I've seen in the app store.

Convenient app to help avoid inconvenient trips to the water. This app gives me all the details I need about where I'm going and what the water will be like. It's definitely saved me a wasted drive or two! Great Job!

Only useful if you boat in one area.... The application only stores one marine forecast area at a time, which means if you live on a border between two zones or live and boat frequently across *many* zones covering 3 to 5 states in a single day like I do you will be very disappointed with the interface. If you never stray more than 10 miles from your home port, this is your app! Cruisers need to look elsewhere unfortunately. Gave it three stars for home-port-bodies. It'd be 5 stars if a good way to remember and display multiple report zones was implemented!

Overpriced App. This app is overpriced for the information that provides. The description of the app is misleading and only after I downloaded I was able to see that the price was not justified. The information provided is just the exact message issue by the national weather report that can be obtained free from any weather station. It does not provide any detail information as barometric pressure, air speed, wave size or frequency, water temperature or anything of value to a sailor. I am asking for a refund.

Great app for boaters. I've really been enjoying this app - definitely helpful to have and so far all of the weather info has been correct. Worth the money.

IOS 6. I liked the app it was what I wanted and it worked just fine, Since the upgrade to IOS 6 the App just does not work at all it just shows the Blue Whale Logo. Please find a fix for us users version 4.1 is not compatible with the new operating system.

Time saver. This app gives me exactly what I expected, my forecast with a tap of a button. This app is great for quick access if u don't care about radars and other bells and whistles.

Synopsis of NOAA Weather Print Out. App runs fine and has some decent basic features. It gives you a highly readable NOAA forecast for an ocean area, similar to if you flipped on your VHF and listened to a forecast zone. (Except that it is printed). Or, very similar to a forecast fax, if you know what that is. For me, it was worth it at $1.99 to have it at easy access. The app would be cool if these guys could tie in some other weather data though. That would make it a 4 or 5 star.

Do not buy. Very Very misleading!! This app must be good for this company only! It has nothing about my local area which it clearly states it does. The app states that it will help n your area. Well, my area is the very very large TN river. The local news gives the lake water info and I was looking for an app with the same info. I GOT BURNED ON THIS APP!!! Do Not Buy!!!! Please, I say again, Do Not Buy!!!!! These folks have ruined my trust n apps. By the way. They claim their a BBB company. I'm contacting the BBB and giving them my bad report on this company. Yes. Excellent! It is the same weather you get on VHF without the endless waiting. Invaluable when filling out logs.

Very nice!!. I like the application concept, I like the layout, I like the feature that keeps my latest setting as the default until I change it. I like the clarification between inner waters and coastal waters. In addition to all of that it has really good content. I have friends who enjoy surfing that would appreciate an application like this on surf sites.

Update. App does not update the forecast in a timely fashion. It's 7pm and the app instill showing the 10am report. The new report from noaa was posted at 3pm.

iOS 6 broke it. Help, Help! I just bought this a few weeks ago and use it all the time. Unfortunately, it won't load ever since I downloaded iOS 6. I even tried to reinstall. Fix it and I'll definitely make this a 5 star!

Simplicity. This is exactly what I was looking for...an app that presented the NWS Marine Forecast in a simple, easier to read format than scrolling through the website on an iPhone.

Simple and to the point. Easy to use, data is presented simply and no fuss needed to get what you want. It would be nice to save more than one area that you could flip too. I always Need to check the Potomac and the Bay, so having more than one spot saved would mean I don't have to go back and search the listings again.

Does what is says. I am running os4 and have had no problems at all running the app. If you have a boat and want to know what the conditions will be before you get under way this is the perfect app for you. Works great..

iOS 6 update. Blue Whale App has taken care of the problem with the ios6 update and everything is back to normal. Use this app daily. Thank you. If you work on the water this app is a must to have.

Cardpro. I think this app is not even worth the 3 bucks. App shuts down on certain areas. Finding your area is not easy either have to scroll. A point and click map would be much better. Information can be had at the national weather web site for free.. Poor app

Boating Weather. This app does exactly what it advertises. Much easier to get the info than surfing the web on the phone. Minimal interface. Apparently no way to delete favorites once they are established.

Great App. Great app for quick review of boating weather and conditions. Have used it up and down the US East coast and find it very handy. I would ignore the one star reviews because it doesn't include lakes or PR, it never did.

Simple, Beautifull, Usefull (v4.0). I am very new to boating but fairly technology savvy. This app provided me exactly what I was looking for in a clean, usefull and stylish format with the neat favorites feature. I highly recommend it.

It works. Does exactly what it says on the tin. Fast, easy and clear access to the Marine Forecast. I never go anywhere without checking this first.

Good for planning. Really simple and thorough with a great selection of areas to choose from. Updates regularly to keep up with changing patterns too. I'm very pleased with the ease of use and the cost seems reasonable.

Good App. I like the app a lot but it could use a simple Favorite folder so I could quickly choose between multiple areas. I regularly boat right on the edge of a forcast area therefore if I am operating both in shore and offshore I have to check up to 4 different forcast areas. The app is still faster than pulling up the NOAA website but a favorites option would really be a time saver.

Got what I need. Simple and the data is accurate that is all I need....nothing fancy and simple to use.

Washington, DC?. I bought it so I could get the forecast for the DC section of the Potomac, but it's the one place they left out. Fix this now.
