Love this app. This app is awesome but I would like to see more than one episode of a show. Sometimes you have more but it will be missing an episode. Please fix this. I really love this app. Have recommended it to many friends. But please fix it. And sometimes it just won’t play at all. Have to come back and try again later. HELP! Update: what in the heck is wrong with this app? Can’t open anything!!!!! Help!!!!!!!

Wish I had read the reviews. The search function doesn’t work. There are only single episodes of a series or a few episodes but not all. The user interface is awful. All of these issues show up in earlier reviews. Maybe it works better in other countries. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this.

Works but.... Can you improve it to make it possible to find episodes? Searching doesn't work well for that either. I like the live tv though.

One Episode. It would be fantastic if all of a series episodes aired. Only getting to watch one episode of the one show I bought the app for is incredibly annoying.

Not so good.. Was so excited to find this app and to be able to watch a few UK TV channels at my leisure. Tried to watch East Enders as an experiment and lost any decent stream every 30 seconds. Is this a usual occurrence or am I just unlucky? I’ll continue with it for a while but if it doesn’t improve I shall want my money back.

Keep it updated. This is a wonderful app for folks that live in the USA. Especially since we paid for it. But with that said it needs to be more updated and with all the episodes. I am so happy that I can see Wales and Ireland.

Don’t buy a subscription!. I purchased this app with the intention of watching my favourite shows. Unfortunately, the app is not operational. The search function does not work, it allows you to watch only one episode of each show, and therefore is a complete bust. I can’t believe that in 2020, a streaming service operates this poorly, particularly one that charges a monthly fee.

Uk player. I was loving the app until it got stuck about 4 weeks ago.. I got it mainly y To watch the great British sewing bee,, I was fine up u til week 6 and them N it jumped back to the first episode and would not play the next few So disappointed. I did try s All of the tricks .restarted my jpad deleting the app etc.. no luck.

Amazing opportunity. to stream UK shows and for that I am thrilled and eternally grateful but the organization of the app makes it hard to know where to find various episodes in various seasons. Anyway, I hope it improves but am still grateful for it’s existence as it’s they only way that I can watch my shows that I love and am addicted to from the UK. Thanks

Search engine. Seems to be an issue with search engine, does not return anything.

Great idea terrible delivery. I paid 10 bucks to download this to be able to watch noughts and crosses and I can’t even select an episode or start at the beginning. If I could get my money back I would. Waste of time.

Waste of money. This app is a complete waste! What is the point of making an app of this kind without being able to watch/search for specific episodes of a series?! Spending this much money on an app should give a person more freedom in choosing programming. And when you consider this has been a complaint since it was first made, I doubt this horrible company has any desire to fix the issue. Not worth the purchase.

Works but not many options. So, this app actually appears to work, but there is no sensical listing of episodes?! I'm trying to choose a show, but it will play without telling me what season or episode I'm watching and there appears to be only one or two eps max per show? Not really sure this is worth $4.99. Disappointed.

Works very well!. I enjoy watching my fave shows on this player.

User. No audio on my mobile device unless the headphones are plugged in. Casting to a device like Chromecast gives no interface whatsoever. You cannot pause or pick a different spot in the stream. A very beta product to be charging money for.

Missing a few things but.... I would appreciate the addition of subtitles and the site doesn't have a couple shows I hoped it would but great streaming and totally worth the $!

Great value. Fantastic to have British tv when and wherever you want it! Don’t always get all the episodes when you go to watch but overall great value for money.

Great app but needs tweaking. I love this app but have a hard time watching episodes of a series in sequence because I just don’t see them listed. Navigating the app can be confusing. Using the search option can be frustrating. It would be worth the money if they fixed this.

So great. Am watching hypernormalization which is brilliant- so pleased when I read the reviews and it was mentioned that TheFall series 3 was playing - I had to buy the app. Happy I did🤓

Great idea but poorly designed. It's great to be able to watch British TV again. Will be worth the money once the episode search is sorted out. It's infuriating to watch one episode then not to be able to find the second episode! Best solution would be to link them so they run on. Tried using search but it doesn't work very well either. Once the user issues are sorted out the quality programming will be easily worth the fee.

Needs access to past episodes. Enjoying the app, but needs to archive episodes...

Works as advertised. Slightly clunky, but it does what in says it does without the need for VPN masking. Recommended!

Wonderful for a Brit abroad!. This is fantastic for all the shows that you miss when you're living abroad. You get what was on the previous week and a variety of movies so it's great!

How do I know what I’m watching live??. I clicked on “Live” and some program comes on but there’s no way to know what it is. Is it REALLY on live? This app needs a TV guide feature so we can see what the names of the shows are and what time they will be on.

Good, but freezes. It freezes allot and the episodes aren’t organised together. You would have literally search for them individually

It doesn’t work as good as it used to.... This app was working perfectly a few years ago, but now it freezes up way too often and whenever I want to search for a program, it won’t let me. Maybe it needs updating. Please fix. Thank you

So far so good. This beats trying to use a VPN, and so far it's been worth the money. Interface is a work in progress. I do like how you have the option to watch live as well.

Lagging and Freezing. This app worked great for many months, but in the last two months there is a lot of lagging and freezing. At this point I am not able to watch a complete episode of any of the shows offered. So disappointing.

Works!. The design is pretty clunky and hard to navigate but you can actually watch things! I had trouble with sound but deleted it and downloaded again and it reset fine.

I’m confused. I see a review from 2 years ago and same issues...why can I only find the first and most recent episode??

Was working, but now.... This worked for a time, but now it is useless. UPDATE THIS AP! It has been well over a year since the last update. Either update or refund my monies. If there is no update in a week, you can very well bet I will be contacting Apple directly. Thank yo.

Great Idea That Lacks In Delivery. If you are going to create an app like this then make sure you can deliver on it. If I can search for a show, I should be able to see all available episodes currently available. A perfect example of this is Peaky Blinders. The first and last episode of the most recent series are available but episodes 2,3,4,5 are no where to be found. Keep up with your app and make it functional and searchable to realistic expectations. It’s current state is garbage.

Great start. This actually works! Could you please update the interface graphics listing the channels to a higher resolution? They all look blurry on the retina screens. A companion Apple TV app would be perfect for this! AirPlay would also be a great feature to ad. Do you think can add the ability to play older episodes of a series? Thanks for the great app so far

Don't have to wait for Netflix!. Can't believe I don't have to wait for Netflix to see the Fall!! Lots of British tv that just isn't available in the US...

Used to be awesome, but constantly freezing. I had previously given this app 5-stars, but for about a month now it's unusable. Constantly freezes. Has to be restarted with episodes restarting from beginning. Have removed & reloaded several times. Will revise rating if/when it's fixed.

Abiss 123. It's great to have access to these shows but when, oh when will you archive them better so we can see the episode we want? What's the story with the helter skelter way they are offered?? Please fix!

Need a Better interface. It is not the greatest, because you are not given enough time to watch shows posted. I wanted to watch the woman in the wall, but before I could watch the second part of the movie it was taken down and third put up, part one was still on the list. I like it for mainly watching the Eastenders, but I do love other Brit shows. Just wish the put the search engine back up. I paid $9.99 I see others only $4.99.

Poor quality sounds and playback. This app was really good when I first purchased it. Now the sound often doubles up so that there is an echo and the loading is often slow and doesn’t catch up with the sound.

Waste of Money!!. The app doesn't have sound, very dissapointed as it wasn't cheap!!!

Love this app. Great for catching new series when they come out in UK and not in Aus. The episodes don’t stay for long though, so you need to be quick!

Won’t work. I get a double voice so everything is repeated or it’s not in sink with the speaker, very odd and you just cannot watch. Also sound doesn’t catch up if you fast forward or restart. Fuzzy poor quality picture. Wish i could be refunded it’s the most I’ve ever paid for an app and one I’d willingly delete. I should of taken more notice of the other reviews. Very accurate.

More access. The app is great, but it would be really great if there could be more access to older and new episodes.

Help. I cannot find more than one or two episodes of a show using my iPad. (Ep 1 and 4 of peaky blinders, episode 1 and 3 of interior designs) How do I access all episodes?

Use it regularly. Only problem moving from iPhone 6 to iPhone pro max the audio won’t work, audio works when I stream from it and works on my other devices but not on pro max. Otherwise 5 stars

Keeps me updated. The app usually plays well, few issues with stopping mid show. Would like the 'play' icon to be larger. Shows uploaded quickly. Featured shows are easy to find but older episodes harder to find. Variety limited. Would recommend

Love the range, but tricky following a series. I really like the variety and extra quality this gives my viewing, particularly casting it to my tv. Hard to know when something I like will appear so used to watch only one off programs, particularly arts ones. Have found recently that I can follow a drama series if I check on Tuesday afternoons (Sydney time) for the next episode. They go off very quickly, leaving only episode one. You need good wifi too.

Sound is echoing back.. In some of the programmes, sound is echoing back. Please fix the issue.

Works well.. The app is fast and efficient and allows me to watch what I want.

Some bug?. This app has worked very well for a couple of years. Now it seems to be buggy. It was not playing at times last week, seemed to fix and now not playing again. The way the app works is if a program is currently playing on the bbc you will get all shows in the series, but if they are posting only one show in a series, the series is not currently running on the bbc. As I stated, up until a week or so ago, it worked great.

Very good but lacks support for previous episodes. Streams the most recent episodes very well. However, if you need to go back up to 30 days you can't. BBC iPlayer itself will allow you to play episodes that aired up to 30 days ago by showing you all such episodes. For a given TV show this app only shows and plays the most recent. Overcoming this limitation would be most welcome!

Like. I like it a lot it has a bunch of amazing shows but the only thing I don't like is that it only shows the newest show in a series so if you were wanted to start watching a series then you will have to go somewhere else to catch up on it.

Disappointed. I find this app to be very frustrating. The selection of programming is very limited and if you are following a series you may or may not complete it. I have been very disappointed.

Very Inconsistent App. Worked great for six months , now the complete opposite! Reception very spotty, often all I get is a blank screen and when it does work, it signs out after a few minutes. Most frustrating to watch. This has been going on for almost a week. Why can't they fix this problem so we can actually watch those great BBC shows we paid for. WHY?

Problem. When I try to get a show it starts then stops and can never get it to start again, some shows just show blank page why ? Am I doing something wrong ?

Long term user. I would love to give this a great review but sadly can not. I have kept it on my iPad as a go to occasionally when I want to see UK TV as we now live in Canada. But the programs hardly ever change some have been on the app for many many months. When a series comes on you only get one or two,if you are lucky. But I noticed a significant world event or sports event it comes on within days - so there is the ability to change. If you want the occasional blast of UK TV this is fine but for series, up to date really not worth it.

Disappointed. I was delighted when I first purchased this app as I was able to watch the same shows that my friends and family in the UK were watching! However, there have been some cases - Killing Eve being one - where suddenly there were no new episodes and we were unable to finish the season. So frustrating. In the past week nothing would play back so I uninstalled the app. That was a mistake as to reinstall it I had to pay for it again! It is at least working again, but the first episode of the show I wanted to watch - McMafia is no longer available. There must be a solution to these issues. Please.

This app is no longer working.. It just keeps shutting off without warning and then whole days can be lost. I wish I knew what I could do to fix it. It is very frustrating, that is a mild word for how I feel these days. I wrote this a little while ago and the problems just continue. It is so unpredictable now. The problem is worse now, I can’t get anything to play at all. Very frustrating. March 2021

Only fist episode of series. I have enjoyed rigs app. However for the past several months only the first episode of a series is shown e.g. “Trust”, “War and Peace”.

Last Tango in Halifax. The app is generally great, except for programmes disappearing without warning. What happened to Last Tango in Halifax? I watched two episodes, then nothing!! Very annoying. Is it coming back? No way of contacting the people who plan the shows or asking questions.

Useless. Enjoyed the first episode of Black Snow - episodes 1 & 3 of Wolf etc. etc. etc Any plans to put any TV series on in its entirety or is this just a big fecking joke now you got the dosh ?

Search button doesn’t work. This limits what you can watch and sometimes the play button doesn’t come on on the AD. Good app otherwise.

Lifesaver to watch live BBC channels. So appreciate being able to watch live BBC programmes and those which started in last two hours. However, the featured shows are usually only useful for one off programmes since only the first episode of series is posted consistently with an occasional additional random episode. So watching any BBC series is generally not possible. This is very frustrating and disappointing. However, this app is definitely the only way to watch live BBC tv so much better than nothing! It’s also a shame that the ability to search for programmes not currently featured is no longer available.

Excellent access to BBC World News. I have been struggling to find an available BBC news live streaming service for a long time when watching directly from iPlayer is unviable until I found this app. The brilliant thing I think about this app is it offers a wide variety of popular UK shows and streaming with stable network, and it is free. Everything works so well and so smoothly, and it would be better to add previous episodes to tv shows since at present state you can only be able to play the latest episode of each program. This is truly an amazing work you have done to people not located in UK but fond of BBC style. Well done!

Weird Faces. Funny concept, but super weird faces are a little perturbing. Other than that, mildly entertaining.

Terrific app. It just needs more programs, both classics and current. Politics live and This Week would be a real pleasure. The iplayer of 5 years ago or so—the one that could be watched throughout Europe, should be brought back worldwide. I’d certainly gladly pay a subscription fee for that quality. Sad to see that one go, but glad for what we’ve got.

Server down 2020-4-6. -back up on the 7th I see on iPlayer the bbc is no longer funded by the government, free for over 75 is being terminated in August and a privately funded pay model is being implemented. Not sure how this directly relates to uk player functionality yet

Failed to deliver beyond 1 episode. Like other reviewers have said, you only get the first episode of whatever show you want to watch, after that nothing! The search option does not work and in the end, you have wasted $10.83 to watch one episode of a series that you are hooked on without a way to see the other episodes. I’d like my money back!

Was but no more. This was the best app ever for watching the BBC. I say was because in the last 3 weeks I have been locked out twice and we no reply to my email from the developer. Not sure what is going on but please fix the issue. Log in is ok but the progress just would not load up. Than out of the blue all good. I love this app when it’s working…… I have had this app 6 years now so it’s not bad only twice been shut out, but with time it should be better not getting worse.

Updated review. *Update* I’ve noticed this has worked better on my iPhone since I’ve upgraded my internet speed, and I can watch on Apple TV by using AirPlay. Not so much on my iPad, but the device is very old. For watching live and timely content, I think it’s worth the one-time fee. If you want past episodes, you’ll have to find another source. *Old review*Not reliable for live tv. So don’t count on using this for a watch party. I watched Picture Slam on BBC One just fine, but then the “Live” section of the app just completely stopped working right before Strictly came on. Also, there is a very limited catalog of recorded shows. But for a small, one-time fee, you get what you pay for.

App doesn’t work. App doesn’t work and there is no Apple Watch icon. The app grabs a few seconds of streaming and plays it on repeat for as long as the app is open.

Wonderful being able to see BBC TV. Currently the search function is broken — but in my experience they always fix problems when notified. I have had this app for years on a couple of accounts, and have always been so grateful for the reliable, readable interface (even on my tiny iPhone SE), reliable function, and ability to stream live bbc channels or watch a selection of programs. (I believe the issues of occasional repeat listings for identical shows, or being able to find only episode 1 of a series, are down to the bbc. If you want to follow a series, you basically have to catch it once a week when they are showing it. Bbc often will bring back the first episode of a show and not bring back the rest). Thanks for a great app!

Love it but….. I love keeping up to date with casualty and call the midwife and bbc dramas as they come out but sometimes all you get is the first episode, or episodes are missing I’m not complaining though as it’s free

Chromecast isn't functional. Failed attempts from 2 devices. I can get a show to cast to my television but I have no control over playback.

EPISODES!!!. Why am I only able to see one measly episode of Luther!!!! One season I could tolerate but one epi is just a rip off. And if other episodes are available to watch, only God know how to get to them! #eyeroll
