17 civic sport. I have been tracking every mile from day 1 with Fuelly. I really like the app, it is easy to use and helps me monitor the amount of time I spend on the road. It is helpful to teach my mileage but I have found that being aware of my fuel consumption keeps my foot off the accelerator. I found this app while designing a lesson for my math class and I love that aspect of it too. You are able to access the data users input online to show statistics about different cars which made for a really cool intro to normal curves and standard deviation.

Ads?. I have used this app for years. All of a sudden today’s update removed one of my two vehicles and introduced ads so intrusive that I could barely navigate it to try to see what records I actually had left. I finally bite the bullet and subscribed for a year just so I could work with it enough without ads to figure out what was going on. The ads were ridiculously intrusive! I have spent hours re-building my data records and in reading other’s reviews I now see that probably I could have been grandfathered into the app without a forced subscription. I am now pretty discouraged from continuing my use of it, and I am not in the least bit happy about a forced yearly subscription for an app that I had already been using for years! You can count me as a very unhappy subscriber. I didn’t ask for new bells and whistles. I was quite happy with it as it used to be. This is not the way to treat your users.

Excellent little MPG tracker. I’ve been using Fuelly to track my new Impreza’s fuel economy for the last few months. With previous cars, I always just assumed what my car reported was pretty close to actual. With my Impreza, I wanted the extra layer of “double-check” to compare against, especially since I’ll be keeping it as long as it lasts. Enter Fuelly. This little app is super easy to use and has the added bonus of automatically pushing updates to Fuelly’s website where other users can compare results. I’ve already recommended it to several other people, including my family. That said, if you’re looking for a paperless MPG tracker that has a free version with all of the basic features you’re likely to need, you owe it to yourself to check this app out!

Would be better if..... So I recently bought a vehicle from a family member who uses Fuelly thinking I would be able to import their data on that vehicle, because they exported it. Sadly this wasn’t the case at all. Even paid for the premium, thinking maybe it wasn’t available on the free version. Have to say that I’m EXTREMELY disappointed! Not worth the $6.99 at all. I can track the mileage and maintenance myself...it would be so much better/easier if I could import that data. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Very functional app but …. Very useful and functional application. However it would be nice if there were more reports and summaries available for reporting gas mileage usage. For example would be nice to see how much you spend every month quarter and yearly for gasoline and know how much per gallon on average you paid. This would be really helpful at the end of the year for computing taxes. A summary of gas expenses and miles driven would be extremely helpful. in other words, having a useful breakdown in writing pertaining to gasoline expenses, miles driven, etc. would be great!

Pasting from clipboard. I’ve used this app for years, but recently I’ve gone into the app and have seen a pop-up saying “Pasted from ‘X’” where X is the last app I copied text from. This is not okay. I hope it’s a bug but it’s serious enough that I’m moving on to a different app. I don’t remember if the last text I copied was a password from my password manager app, an email address from work, or any number of sensitive things. No matter the case, this is a HUGE breach of my privacy and I want to warn all that use this app that you may be giving Fuelly data that you wouldn’t want them to have without any choice.

The BEST and VERY VALUABLE. I’ve been using Fuelly (and the predecessor) for many, many years. The only time there was ever a glitch it was 100% resolved without the loss of any data. I have used Fuelly over the course of owning 3 different vehicles and when it came time to sell; I printed out all my data for any prospective buyer. In every case I was able to make hundreds, even thousands of dollars extra because the data is so very impressive. It verifies that I am a responsible person that cares about the fluids and services in regard to my vehicles. It’s the best vehicle app I’ve ever used.

You deserve -20 stars. What on earth have you done with your app?!!?? You’ve destroyed it. I am so angry with your app and your company. I have been using your app as a paid customer since the first version of Gas Cubby (before it became Fuelly). Once you changed the app to Fuelly, your app has gone down the tubes. Recently, I discovered my password no longer worked and I have had to register a new password for the third time. Syncing constantly stalls and fails. I’m constantly forced to log in. And today, after having to re-register for a third time (and being greeted with what appears to be a phishing pop-up ad on your website), I learned that your app and server have not recorded any of my entries since March 2016. More than a year of data has been lost including major service I had on my car. You have the temerity to push me to upgrade without showing what benefits doing so would offer. I’m furious. Pencil and paper would be more effective than your app. Consider me to be an ex-customer.

Great if You Love Pop Ups and Forced App Store Visits. I’ve never review an app before but this one deserves special recognition. The Free version at least continuously forced pop ups to come up with Safari which sends you usually to the App Store to visit a sponsored app of theirs. You don’t even have to click on an ad! Heck you don’t even need to touch the screen. It does it all by itself! And I do mean it’s continuous. Back to back to back if you go back to Fuelly. Sometimes it’ll open a pop up in Safari that will route through multiple redirect web addresses just like your favorite spam website on your PC. One page ended up giving me a iOS popup to call a 1 800 number that was somehow linked in that spam page. Seriously? I was thinking about paying for a premium version, but NOPE. No thanks.

Decent app, impossible to add past service. Overall this app looks and functions nice. I downloaded it specifically to keep the service records on my vehicle. I have 15 years of service records and entering them in with the correct date is nearly impossible. The app uses the standard iOS date scroller without the year. So trying to pick a date from a few years ago is impossible. I’ve emailed their support with no answer in a week. If you plan on starting fresh then this app is probably useful. But if you plan on adding lots of previous service history the go somewhere else.

Great app for tracking mileage. Don’t ask me why I like to keep track of my mileage. Maybe it started when I had a gas hog of a car and tracking the mileage gave me real numbers to justify the purchase of a new car. But with the cost of gas continuing to rise, I definitely do track it. I initially got this app because I was taking a road trip with a rental car and my former app did not allow me to add another vehicle. Well I am converted! I fell in love with Fuelly and never looked back to the other one. Fuelly has a great interface and is easy to use. Kudos Fuelly!

1 Glaring Flaw.... I’ve been using this app for years now... long before it was taken over by Fuelly (can’t remember the old name, but remember the wooden looking logo). Anyway, this app has helped tremendously in tracking the true cost of ownership of many of my cars, and I’m therefore pretty anal about entering the info for accurate results. Herein lies the flaw... due to the new format, and it’s need to sync (to what?), the last time I opened it I noticed a sync error on one of the entries from my last road trip. It said duplicate entry and, after toggling between the two I saw that it was right. I went into edit and hit delete. Nothing happened. I did it again. Now BOTH entries are gone! The problem is that there is now no way to put one back, and my 24-27 average mpg vehicle is now showing a best of 61 mpg! My world has not ended, but I will never have an accurate account of this vehicle now as a result. There should be some way to insert a missed record, but there isn’t. Even though I can change the date, the “last mileage” is always the true last one recorded, and is blocked out from editing, so inserting one would jack up the history even more. This is something that needs addressed by the developer. Otherwise, this was a 5 Star app. 😞

Removed location function. The new update has removed the location function unless you subscribe to the premium version. I bought this when it was GasCubby Pro and was promised all functionality would be retained in the future. Location information was always part of GasCubby as was also part of the non-subscription version of Fuelly until this update. The fact that location info now requires a subscription goes against what was promised when the initial transition happened from GasCubby to Fuelly. I’ll be looking for a new better option now. This on top of the many minor annoyances finally make it worth finding a better alternative.

Does not care that notifications are broken. Update 2: Apparently we are at the end of the troubleshooting stage for finding out why notifications are not working for the app. What was suggested to fix it? ‘Delete and redownload the app. Oh, that didn’t work? Nothing else we can do.’ My impression: we don’t know or care enough to actually sort out your issue. I asked if they were going to do anything else we can do to try and resolve the problem, but they said this is all they can think of. Also, as a response to the developers ‘check your spam folder’ comment. I check my spam folder every day. I never received a response to my first request for help on this issue. Thanks. Update: After going to their website and submitting a request for feedback to another product, I was directed to submit through the app. After that I did receive a reply. There is hardly any access to control settings within the app. It has an option to provide feedback in the app, it uses your email but I have tried many times and never heard anything back. I do not see an option to see how long I have remaining for my subscription, I thought this was a decent product and wanted to support that, but it now seems I was incorrect. One of my biggest issues is that the notifications for service reminders do not work on the app, I only see that it hasn’t told me when logging into the desktop/web version to read the forums for a solution. Not acceptable.

“Minor update”. I have enjoyed using this app over the last couple years, but was not pleased to find that this latest update which stated on the user notes “minor fixes “actually installed an update which requires you to pay if you want to make for use of the app. I have no problem with developers charging to continue to maintain their product, but I do have a problem when you slip it in without disclosure and the update notes so that users can make informed choice.

Great app, but could use a few more features.. I love the app, it’s done a great job at tracking my mpgs. However, there are a few things I would like to see improved. I would like to see the maintenance items actually notify you in the app wherever you meet the mileage/time. And, as someone who modifies their vehicle, I would LOVE to see the ability to change tire size in the app and it correct for the difference in miles actually traveled. It shouldn’t be too difficult to add a setting for stock tire size and current tire size and have the app calculate the difference!

Another Log-in, ransomed data.. Have been using this app since Verizon got the iPhone and it was called Gas Cubby. Paid for the paid version. Just updated it while mass updating all my other apps. The app used to take care of everything conveniently and locally right on the phone. Now when I launch the app it demands a login and will not allow me to see my many years of data without creating an account. This is not what I agreed to when I paid for the app. Now I am unable to restore the app to its previous functionality. There is no need for my information including my cars make, model, VIN number, service history and how much I paid for service to be stored on their servers when it was backed up on my personal computer using iTunes. I never agreed to allow them to have access to my automotive data when I purchased this years ago. Now my access to my own data is gated behind my compliance with their restrictions. I recommend you do not buy this app and I will not be creating an account with them. My years of data entry and personal information is now lost to me and in their possession.

Awesome review. I give this a awesome review. I have been keeping track of my fuel mileage for all of my vehicles very accurately with this app. It always helps me to remember when I need to do an oil change. Synchronizing the data. And downloading the data to my email. I have been able to keep track of everything. I even lost my at one time. With the new Mobile home. I contacted the app and they sent me the date it and everything was good. Even though I had everything printed by email. It’s always good to back up to iCloud. Thank you thank you thank you. Happy day to everyone.

Great, but low support. I’ve been a paid premium user for about 2 years now. I stopped my premium subscription this year because I’ve asked for one feature over and over. There is a field, called tire pressure, that you can fill out when you log your gas fill up. However, this field only accepts one numerical value. We all have 2 or more tires. This field needs to allow more than one numerical value, and I’ve asked for this repeatedly and feedback submissions. Sorry, as soon as this feature is added, you’ll get an instant subscriber.

Charge and then charge again. I paid for this app quite a while back and all of its features and loved using it. But it became obvious that they wanted me to pay more when the app started having pop ups to add on a monthly subscription fee. I would always decline and continued using the app. Now the location services are disabled and it requires a subscription to use that feature. It won’t be long before the entire app is unusable despite paying for it. That is like going to the store and buying a vacuum cleaner under the understanding that it will work until it gives out. Instead, while it is still working, the vacuum salesman shows up and says they are disabling the vacuum unless you pay them more and that they could care less the circumstances of your previous payment. Shady. I partially blame Apple for letting this practice go on. I can understand if Fuelly stops with updates due to additional costs but not changing what I have already purchased.

Simply PERFECT. This app is the best fuel tracker around. It doesn't suffer the major weakness of almost every other app in that any user can update any vehicle. This solves a major problem for any family where the person stuck filling it up isn’t the regular driver. As soon as the app syncs the other users see the same data. In addition, if you choose to do so, you can enter service and maintenance. For those reviews that have complained about how much personal/vehicle Info is requested...don’t enter it. I couldn’t be more pleased. One addition I would like to see is a cost per mile including maintenance not just fuel.

Changes to app. I have been using Fuelly/Gas Cubby for a long time and never had any problems with the app or entering fill ups until this last update, 3.3.2. Now every time I try to enter the location where I purchased my fuel, I receive a pop up message about subscribing to premium. This never occurred until this newest version. Why? And like others have stated I purchased the premium version when it was still Gas Cubby. I would rate the app lower, but it has been a reliable app until now and hope it gets fixed in the next release.

Abandoning this app. After many years and much loyalty to Gas Cubby, (then grudgingly- Fuelly), tracking five vehicles over the years I'm sad to leave this app. I only wanted a digital log book. But now Fuelly has jumped on the subscription bandwagon and removed some formerly standard features. Some functionality is also gone. For example I often import US vehicles into metric based countries. So I fill up in gallons, pay for liters, track MPG and cost per liter. Can't do this anymore. You're either metric or not now. So I found another free app that can do this. Sorry Fuelly good luck with your mainstream business model.

Used to be good, now it's a rip-off!. I've been using this app for a very long time and loved it, to the point that I actually bought it I believe to eliminate the ads. Before the latest update, I noticed the ads came back. It was annoying but at least I can still use the app. The latest update the developer decided to add something new and the same time, asking for more money as a subscription to continue using the app, otherwise the app is useless. There should be an option for those who wants to use the new added features with subscription and for those who just wats to continue using the app without new added features and no subscription. Don't waste your money, this app is now a rip-off!

Invaluable Resource. I could talk for hours about how useful this Gas Cubby/Fuelly is to me but I will cut to the chase. I track four cars in my fleet, and do all my own maintenance on them. Without this app/tool I would have to spend hours just to keep up with all the work that needs to get done. This app keeps it all in one spot. The family gives me their gas receipts with their cars' mileage written on them, I enter it in, and the app lets me know what and when it's due for service. Win, win, win.

I don’t want the subscription version!!. Mine would be a five star rating – – EXCEPT for the following: I don’t want the subscription version. When I originally purchased Fuelly {after numerous software updates and name changes from the previous version (I can’t even remember what it was called)}, the subscription version was not an option. Had I known the software app was going to morph into a subscription situation, I would have never purchased it in the first place. Please stop badgering me every other time I open MY PAID FOR version of Fuelly asking me if I want to upgrade. I don’t want the subscription version.

Great, just not quite excellent. This app is very good at tracking fuel economy, and basic maintenance/repairs. It has a few quirks that I don’t like, like asking you if you missed a fuel up if you put more fuel in the tank than your average fuel up. Overall it does it’s job well. The website is not all that easy to use in conjunction with the app. However, 99% of the time I use the app anyhow. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is nerdy enough to want to keep track of their fuel economy. It beats the pants off of the old “notepad in the glove box” method. Over the past few years I’ve stated using it to track my maintenance too, and it’s pretty convenient to have everything in one spot.

Cool idea, intrusive ads. This app is useful for data driven decisions on gas and maintenance. As a Lyft driver and entrepreneur it’s good to know how much I’m spending on transportation as I travel up to 300 miles per day, however the experience is ruined by ads that open new windows at random intervals. These ads are so bad that it froze my IPhone X while I was in unfamiliar territory causing me to figure out how to get back home and find a way to drain my battery so it could be reset after I plugged it into power. If this continues as it is I will need to delete the app. I need my phone to earn a living. I will not let any app cause an interruption in my work flow or leave me stranded. Fix this as soon as you can.

Ads? GasCubby Users. Location is premium now? I am fine with filling it in myself, but I can’t. It won’t let me tap on location without bringing up the subscription. Bummer, because I really like this app otherwise. Previously I wrote a review saying that I love the app and have used it for years now, but was upset that there are now ads in the app. The dev responded to let me know that GasCubby users were grandfathered in, and a hard reset of the app would take care of the issue. After following the instructions, the ads are gone and my app is once again what I expect. I wanted to say thanks for the quick response and fix!

AB requires too much for it to be such a simple purpose. Warning this review is meant for nitpicky people such as myself if anyone thinks they fit this description I hope it is helpful for them I have a couple of problems with this app I have used it for years I have the premium version and with the premium version I have lost pictures pending transactions of gas just because I have left the Avenue sometimes I’ve had to start all the way over to get this app to work I’ve been trying to reach Support about this issue but it seems that the developer doesn’t do anything more with this app if I can start all over I would pick someone else To support but I’ve been using it for so long and pretty much is what it is for me buyer beware is our sometimes does not load properly actually requires Internet connection to calculate such a simple purpose

Sucky App. Little things use to be free. Now a person cannot put the location of where they bought gas without nickel and dimin you. Get GasBuddy and you can get the app free and use the mileage calculation for free. At one time it was free and was a great app (GasCubby) but with it being bought out they charge you for everything. Next they will charge to input gas. GasBuddy will do all of the same things as this app. SAVE YOUR TIME WHEN YOU WILL EVENTUALLY CHANGE TO ANOTHER APP unless you want to pay for a yearly subscription.

Paid 5.99, app now keeps asking to choose another paid subscription!. I paid full 5.99 on Nov 21 for this app. With recent update it is asking me to pay for yearly or monthly subscription or continue with ads. The option to restore purchase says, no previous purchase history. Isn't 5.99 already not enough for a data entry app? Highly disappointed by this brazen day time robbery. Update: Yes, it does seem like an update glitch. Working fine now. App otherwise is just superb.

Great App. I like the general use of the app. I use it to track my Government Vehicle as well as my personal motorcycle and truck. I have learned the hard way that if you take a picture of your receipt, there is no way to retrieve it even if you go to Fuelly online. I now use Adobe Scan add it to the app as a PDF and I also keep it in a file in adobe on my phone. I haven’t been on in a while, but I don’t think you can print or specify certain reports to print for your vehicles. I do wish the online interface was better so I could print certain things or be able to pull the info into a spreed sheet like excel. Don’t get me wrong the general use of tracking services, mileage, parts, overall costs and all it dose its job. You just have to do a little more work if you actually need to put the info your are tracking into a report or file.

Can no longer log where I'm obtaining service. I've been using this app Since Gas Cubby in late 2009. Suddenly, since the previous update, it seems that I can no longer add the location of my service/purchase unless I pay for the subscription. I understand charging for new functionality, but changing things such that one must pay a fee to continue to use a basic feature that had been freely available, for so long, may push users to seek other options.

Subscription Issue. I have subscribed to Fuelly for as long as it became an option, but I am constantly asked to either subscribe or restore this almost every time I use the app. It requests me to enter my Apple ID, which I just cancel. I always check to make sure my subscription is still active, but it is quite annoying sometimes & I wonder if some of my data will be lost at some point. Would give 5 stars were it not for this inconvenience. Really great app!!

Great way to track mileage and service. I’ve used the fuelly website for years when buying vehicles to get an accurate account of what real people are getting mileage wise. When I discovered there was an app to track my own data and service records I jumped on it. You can download your data to excel via the website. Attach photos for records. Add about any service category you want track multiple vehicles.

Need gear ratio data field!. This is a good app but there needs to be a specific data field for gear ratios if the desire is to obtain remotely accurate mpg data. This will allow proper comparison amongst like-kind peer group . Yes, there are literally infinite variables in tracking this but the axle ratio is one of the most significant. This is especially true with so many people adding on larger aftermarket tires. You can currently notate that within your profile but there needs to be a dedicated data field so that results can be sorted based on that data field.

Beautifully Made. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and it just gets better and better. I just like to keep track of how much it’s costing me to drive my vehicle. My favorite feature is the tracking of the fueling because it shows me how I’m doing with my driving habits by giving me the mpg every time I fuel. Believe it or not I am more conscience of my driving and even more now with the rising of fuel prices. There is a whole lot more to this app that you’ll just have to explore. And with the great low annual price I’m hooked!!!

Nice app but deleted it.. Found the app to be useful and wanted the other features in the pro version. Upgraded to the pro version but the pro features were never unlocked for me. Checked to be sure it was purchased, my Apple account showed that I did indeed purchase the pro version. Still, stuck in the free version and the app continues to offer the pro version to unlock other features. Never worked for me, so uninstalled the app, cancelled the automatic annual payment for the pro version and decided that I really don’t need to track my mileage. If I decide to track my mileage in the future I’ll go with another app.

Holly recommend this app. I highly recommend you consider this application. I’ve been subscribed to it for 6 years and I absolutely love it! The only problem that I’ve had is the annual renewal. Sometimes I have to close and reopen the app several times for it to recognize the renewal, but it does renew, and so far that’s the only complaint that I have. Otherwise, it is perfect and I strongly recommend it!!

Gets worse every update. Not only did I pay for the original version of this app only to be screwed over when they changed the name of the app to turn it into a subscription service but the new version constantly “loses” entries. Today it said I had a missed fuel up. About the 6th or 7th time this has happened. I only use one phone to input info and sync after every entry. It is really frustrating on top of the fact that every time they update the app it bombards me to buy a subscription. Let me make this perfectly clear. I WILL NEVER SUBSCRIBE to this app because of the bait and switch. Not to mention it is WAY OVERPRICED. I am probably going to go back to a good old log book in my truck. As long as I don’t use invisible ink the entry will be there the next time I open it unlike this app.

Developer charging for features previously free.... I have enjoyed using the features provided in the app; even those provided in the free feature set have been good. I noticed tonight that the developer locked down one of the previously free data items and you now have to pay for it to record it. (The data point removed is ‘Location’) FUELLY are you planning to slowly take a data point away, one by one, until the app is no longer free?! If so, just DO IT already! I don’t like tracking certain things only to come back to it and find I can’t use it any longer, unless I subscribe. Disappointed in the manner in which you did this! No warning, just gone!

So impressed. I have used this app since before it was bought up and was called acar. I love this app but even more now. I recently lost my phone and got a new one. After installing the app on the new phone I had to gas up. I went to enter my fill up info and realized the new app had no history. I was so mad at myself because I had not backed up my data in over a year. When I went into the settings I saw the option to sync my data and thought let’s see what happens. Well it synced up and all my data was there, right up to my last fill up and I was up and running in no time, all I can say is WOW!!!!! I am even more impressed with this app than I was already, best mileage/service tracking app on the planet, bar none.

Pain in the you know what!!!!. Every time I try to enter data the app asked me to pay up! Despite having a monthly subscription, I even contacted the app people and they said they would fix it, nope! Didn’t do it, ok it’s only 99c but they......... well, I’ve had enough, there are plenty of similar apps out there, I’ll give them a go!... Still asking to subscribe to what I've subscribed to, every month same old story, but at least its...... No, there isn't a plusI tried to unsubscribe but that's Impossible, I guess I'll have to change banks, that'll fix me. Watch this space for the continuing story. My advice? Dont touch it, get a responsible app.

Paid for premium but denies the service. Beware! Read the 1 stars!. For the past 3 years (I have paid for premium for 8 years) I paid for premium but the app denies the subscription. I previously contacted customer service and they confirmed and provided access. Not sure why it happens right after renewal but this last time, after 3 tries, customer service is silent. They accept payment but will not provide the premium service. I guess it’s time to move on to another app that provides services I pay for. App has been great but I’m not going to provide charity to the developers.

Good tracker, annoying ads. I purchased this app before it was named Fuelly and before the owner instituted a subscription model. It worked then and works now quite well as a fuel and auto maintenance tracker. -1 Star: Unfortunately, when it converted to Fuelly, some of the options were not afforded to those whose previously purchased the app and instead require and on-going subscription. While I find that frustrating as a user who already invested the advertised price into this app, I get the capitalistic nature of the subscription model for app developers and their overhead for continuous development. - 1 Star: My main annoyance with Fuelly is its regular advertising for premium subscription-based features upon app startup. I’m not even trying to access those features. I get interrupted using the features I’ve already paid for with the ads to pay for more. Makes me want to find another app, but I’ve got so much history with Fuelly that it would be time-consuming to migrate elsewhere. The the Fuelly devs: if you’re listening, please remove the apps that get in the way of non-premium features and please consider giving premium features to those who bought your app before you went to the subscription model.

My Favorite Automotive App. Back in the olden days, I watched my dad write down the mileage and gallons at each fill-up. I never could get in the habit of using a paper notebook, but keeping it in my phone is great. I’m two years into using Fuelly and I can’t imagine not having it. It’s more than just fuel and mileage info, it’s also a record of maintenance. I love that I can take a pic of my receipt at the pump, or the itemized invoice at the mechanic, and log exactly what was done. Then a few months later I can look at my notes when the shop tells me it is time to replace my spark plugs and I can say no thanks I had that done less than 10K miles ago. If I could change anything it would be the export function. All the images are lost, which stinks if you ever want to sell your vehicle and include the service record. Also, the tire size and recommended pressure aren’t viewable on the car info page. If you hit edit you can see the fields and edit them, but otherwise they’re invisible. Devs, if you’re reading, consider updating. Both are minor issues and don’t outweigh the overall usefulness of this app, especially for the very reasonable annual fee. If you’re looking for a place to store your vehicle data consider Fuelly.

No major updates/improvements for 3 years?!. I like the app on a basic level, but there are a lot of upgrades that could be made to the functionality, especially with regard to the “service reminders” function. I was curious to see how often they are making updates to the app and saw that the last update was “bug fixes” over a year ago. No updates to the user experience outside of that have been made for over three years! It makes me wonder if the developers have just abandoned the app, and what the purpose is of the “feedback” link within the app.

Fuelly works well. I use the free version of the Fuelly app and have enjoyed using it for the last couple of years. I only track fuel miles and I don’t do any of the other features. I do wish that the free version would allow me to use the location services instead of having to type in address location for when I get fuel. I’ll continue to use the free version.

Love it, but moving to new iPhone requires login. First off-I love the app. Started using on my old F250 Diesel. Then, I bought a new one 3 years shop and have everything done on the truck recorded My iPhone started playing up, so I bought the iPhone 15 and migrated everything across. When I go into Fuelly on new phone, it recognized a new device and logged me out of Fuelly. Although the subscription shows up in ‘settings’, the app wants me to login using an email address. Unfortunately it’s been do long that I don’t even remember using an email address-thought logged on using apple-id. How do I transfer to new device?

A great App. Terrific application my only gripe is that at present the octane settings cannot be changed from the MON to RON ratings, which is apparently being addressed by the developer. By far the easiest but at the same time most comprehensive vehicle expense tracker I have used.

Terrible. Can't upload my existing data. Validation took overnight Clunky ugly interface.

Just the ticket. I wanted a simple app to track the fuel usage and servicing when I bought my new scooter and this does just the trick. It’s easy to add new fuel ups and servicing and very easy to see a summary of what your scooter (or car or bike) is costing you. Thanks!!

Big fan. I've been a big fan of TripCubby and GasCubby for a while. They're great to look at and easy to use. They've had their own cloud sync solution in places. I've had two slight issues over time, and the support has been great.

Get it. It’s damn good.. Excellent app for logging comprehensive vehicle operation costs.

Does not work. The gas caddy dials do not work can you please find out why the dials do not work as The Calculator works but the dials to not work

FUELLY The best. I have tried a number of vehicle logging apps & none of them give me ease of use, information logging & statistical data that Fuelly does. I have used Fuelly for many years to log not only fuel use, but services, repairs & parts for my vehicles

Great for tracking all aspects my vehicle. Been using the free version of this app for almost two years now. It’s been great for tracking fuel use and economy, service reminders based on either time or kms and any other expenditure associated with the vehicle.

Well designed and easy to use. My only gripe is the limited support for custom service reminders... Which the developer has said will be addressed in a future revision. Excellent support and the forums are quite active.

Shame that they now charge for what was free.. I bought this app ages ago, recently they “upgraded it” to include a few things and added a subscription fee. Gradually they are removing features from my purchase level and making me pay for it. Losing love for the app.

Love it!. OK, this is not a cheap app, BUT, I know people that spend that much per day on coffee! Gas Cubby is a user friendly app that is quite useful. What is even better is that the developers are more than happy to receive feedback from users and improve their products. Got a question? App Cubby have replied to a couple of emails from me, both times within a few hours. I'm more than satisfied with my purchase and recommend this app and this developer to anyone.

A Great little Utility!. It is really worthwhile when developers provide 'Lite' versions so that their software can be checked for suitability before purchasing. I have downloaded and tried a number of 'Lite' versions of fuel tracking programs and chose this one from an ease of use point of view. Data entry is straight forward and each record is easily edited. Once an entry is displayed, swiping can be used to show previous or next entries. The graphs are also useful to quickly display how fuel economy, fuel pricing and running costs are changing over a time period. I initially thought the time 'stamp' that is added for each new entry was a bit of a waste of time - but have found it quite useful to see what time of day I have been buying fuel in particular. I have been so impressed with the software that I purchased the full version. The transfer of data from the lite to full was as easy as the developer suggests. I have also added all my fuel records since the start of July last year - all too easy as well. Only 'gripes' - US spelling only for 'Litres' and having to get their standalone Trip Cubby to record trips

Not accurate. After inserting the data, it gives the wrong fuel mileage (L/100km) very poor.

Dissapointed. I got their previous app which was great, but after a request to uphrade to this app, I'm very disappointed. I regreat doing the upgrade and lost data from my previous vehicles.

opinion. The previous version (free) was more stable. This is more "decorative".

Great app but need an update. Great app but still waiting for the big update!

Great app. Does all it says without the fuss😄

Great Free App for Recording vehicle history. A great little app that can help with maintenance records and refueling records of your vehicle... brilliant

Great fuel tracking app. Tried a few others and found this one to be the simplest to use while still giving detailed fuel consumption details.

Fantastic App. I have been using Gas Cubby over the last 2 months. During this time I have racked up over 5,000km including a trip interstate. I have found this app extremely easy to use. Entering the data takes seconds and the user input screen is very intuitive. Most of the information you are required to enter is done by selecting from predefined lists. It’s so easy I have put in a request to have an extra field included. Would happily recommend this app. It might be a little more expensive than similar apps out there but it certainly is worth the extra few bucks just for the additional features (i.e useful graphs and reports) and a very slick user interface. Well done. Another happy customer.

Great Looking App. The updates make it so much better. Great App

Simple and effective app. Very easy to use and a great way to compare your vehicle’s fuel consumption to other drivers that have the exact same vehicle as yours. Well done app development team! 👍🏼

A bit clunky. I’m a legacy Gas Cubby user. Things never really seemed to go anywhere after we all transitioned to Fuelly. My data is intact and I’m still entering new fill ups which is ticking off the primary reason why I got the app. It seems like every other time I enter a fill up I’m asked to upgrade to Premium (I was under the impression that wasn’t going to happen). Searching for the fuel station location when entering the details after the fact is fiddly (a favourites list would be nice) and I don’t bother entering in other things like service and tire replacements/rotations. Having fields for all tires or axels for air pressure would be good as entering it as text (to split front and rear axles) just goes into a black hole.

Great Application. This is a very nice designed application with easy layout. It will be nice to have a feature to also record modifications and accessories added to vehicle. Thank you

Calculations. There is a fundamental error in the way stats are calculated. Distance travelled and fuel usage are not correctly linked. They have a weird way of explaining their way of thingking in the online manual BUT their logic is incorrect with the effect that fuel consumptions are incorrect!! I want my money back! Must say nice features, just go back to maths 101 first!

BAD access to your data. Works great as a basic fuel app but with apples new features of showing you when it accesses your data. Every time you open the app it “Pastes From Messages” appears, sketchy as!!!

Doesn’t work. You pay for the subscription but the app does not restore your purchase. The developer support team say they are too busy to fix it up.

Brilliant app; too pushy for subscribing. I’ve been using this app to track our auto for the past 5+ years and love it! It has gotten past the American take over / bias and is now decent - although too much unwanted American items bog down choices. I do get frustrated with the never ending and annoying requests to subscribe. For me here in Australia the subscription offers NOTHING and I do not want it. Shame I can’t opt out and stay happy with my free version - which is PERFECT for me!

Massive bug with units. I have been using GasTacker+ for years and loved it. There is a massive bug in this version though on my iPhone X running the latest iOS: I have set the units to l/100km which seems to stick. The dialog when adding a fuel up however still displays and reads miles, gallons and cost per gallon. To make this app useful again the devs need to address this as soon as possible.

Ok. The latest update was a step backwards. Why does it not work on iPad.

could be a great app. No support, no contact details on web site, very basic manual and I can’t figure out how to create new reminders or service items. some video tutorials would be helpful as software is not that intuitive,

Easy to use. Convenient to add fuel transaction at fuel up time. Good record, history and reports.

Good but...... It keeps crashing whenever I change the octane number. I'm a huge fan of this app and would like to see it fixed!

Don’t upgrade, they added ads.. Don’t get it they added ads. They hid it in the release notes and my iPhone auto updated it and now I have ads even though I don’t even use their backup server. I’m going to switch to a different app now.

What's going on with this App ?. I've been using this app for a few years, but recently it's been telling me lies and giving me false information!!!

Is holden really dead???. What about those that wanna track their holdens compared to other cars? Unless there’s a chevy variation of the commodore I don’t know if I can use this app or not.

Fuelly. Great app. Works out whether your car is fuel efficient or not.

Adding a fuel-up location manually. Why is this suddenly a premium feature?

Math is not a strong point?. The app suggests $6.99 per year is a savings over $0.49 per month ... not a good look for an app that is all about basic mathematics.

Excellent - best fuel calculator for iPhone. For those Australians wishing to buy this app, don't worry, because it works in metric and can be configured to a variety of measurements. The interface is very clean and useful, but doesn't sacrifice functionality. After using it for a few fill-ups, it will be very quick, because it remembers the petrol stations you use, your last odometer count, and other meta-data. The ability to tag entries is useful for any special tracking uses not specifically covered by the application. The way you can shift from data entry mode to viewing graphs of your fuel consumption or cost just by rotating the iPhone is very slick and convenient. The export feature works very well, emailing you a file you can import into Excel, Numbers or other spreadsheet to back-up and manipulate your data further. Perhaps what I like the most is the ability to combine details of services and repairs and fuel consumption data in the same application. It will also remind you when a particular service is due (oil change, etc). The developer is very responsive. I put in a feature request, and got a response within hours, saying that they were already working on that feature, and should be out soon. That feature was a change to the "octane rating" buttons, my only minor criticism of this application - it has octane ratings for 87, 89, 90+ and Diesel. But in Australia, all our petrol is in the "90+" category - so you can't distinguish between the various 90+ flavours we have here. This is easily worked around by using a tag with the type of fuel (V-Power, etc) or octane rating. And, as the developer said, this will be addressed soon. All-in-all, a top job, and I hope that it will just keep getting better with user feedback and time.

Great For Metric Users. I have been using this for over 2 years. Use it for every fill and service. Supports Metric properly in all stats. Great for Australians tracking discount vouchers and fuel types. Even email syncs to their server so multiple phones can fill the same car. Love this app.

Easy app. Does everything I want and more. Easy and quick

Ruined by upgrade. Doesn't recognise partial fuel ups, can't edit a past odometer reading and can't enter a location. Whatever you do, DONT UPGRADE. Now looking for a new program which will actually work.

need upgrade for iOS8 iPhone6. App does not show the MPG figure in iOS8+ on iPhone6. It works on iPhone5. Shall you please have a look for it. Thanks. Terrible! You have to REMOVE Ads! We paid for this application!

Awesome. I've been using this for over six months now and cannot fault it. It is very well thought out and polished. It's a breeze to use. Great app!

Asking me to renew subscription when one active?. Sorry for posting this here but the only support option is a forum that has a post on this issue that’s a few days old now: When I started the app today, it’s asking me to buy a subscription, but I already have one? (And it auto renewed in December so I’m not keen on just getting another). Trying to restore purchases doesn’t seem to find it.

Great App. I’ve been using this app for 7 years it’s been fantastic. Great upgrades and runs seamlessly.

Easy to use. Lots of charts to visualize trends over time. Never used the mechanics service module but good to know it is available. I have used this app since 2014.

Does it’s job beautifully. Have been running this program for years and have been happy with how it’s performed. Would recommend if tracking fuel stats is your thing.

Good app. Great app. My only issue was entering info on a missed top up and I figured out a work around

Great app - subscription is NOT required. Subscription adds features but you can track mileage really well without subscribing. This app is great; been using it for years and I track all my vehicles with it.

Great app. Great app for tracking mileage and keeping tabs on service. Only issue I have with it is that it hasn’t updated service stations and every time I fuel up I need to manually enter the service station info. I’ve been fuelling at the same place for over a year now and it never appears on the map.

The App Copies from the Clipboard When Opening. Huge privacy issue here. The app copies whatever is on the clipboard every time it opens.

Good function. Was better but got watered down with ads.

Seems abandoned. App hasn’t been updated in 2 years. Seems like the developer has stopped working on it.

Shame on you Fuelly. Lost the ability to choose the location of my fuel-up with the last update, unless I pay for a subscription. That was a sneaky update. I had considered a subscription prior to this, but not anymore. Looking for another app to track my fuel-ups.

Easy collection results in Good data. If you want to keep track of fuel and auto expenses this is a great app. If you are curious about fuel economy over this is a great app. If you want to track costs and repairs and put in reminders for future repairs, this is a great app. This is a great app to easily collect data on a vehicle.

Good app. Very nice app, exact calculations, love it.

EXCELLENT app, I’ve been using it since day one. I don’t know why they keep pushing the subscription though, it’s grossly overpriced.

Now it shows adv!!!!!. Now you guys include adv!!! This is rediculous!!

Excellent Fuel Tracking. This app is the best yet, keeps track of multiple vehicles, and gives an instant readout of fuel consumption once you enter the data of you most recent fuel up! Excellent!!!

Only works for older technologies. This was good until I got a PHEV…On my second tank of gas I drove over 4500 km and consumed 0.3L/100km (about 900mpg) The app would not accept the numbers. I contacted Support who just shrugged their shoulders (weren’t interested in fixing it). I will find a more accurate app but right now it’s a hassle to figure out how to take all my old data for various cars and transfer it to a new app.

Features moved to subscription.. It will be a cold day in hell before I’ll pay a recurring fee to use an app. You would have my support with a premium non-subscription option.

Greedy.. Disabled location services in latest version. Poor attitude by the developer.

I’m done with this. Latest update stripped out all my location data. Already paid once. Not again. Greedy is correct. No stars.

Works, but.... I bought Gas Cubby back before it was acquired by Fuelly. Now that it’s a new name it annoyingly keeps asking me to subscribe to their service even though I have already paid money for the app. The app is good at what it’s meant to do but the constant subscription prompts for something that I’ve already paid for knock it down.

Abandonware. This app is no longer being maintained or supported. It’s not possible to start a subscription to the pro version (that is to say, you can’t give the developers money even if you want to).

Good app.. This is a good app for mileage tracking. Upgrade request would be to separate regular/premium graphing, tracking etc so I could compare cost per km etc of using different types of fuel

Good until.... This app was amazing until you are now going subscription based.... I bought the app way back before the material theme update to get rid of ads. Now you want charge me more ? Not happy.

Just another good app turned into garbage.. This app used to be very good a couple years back, but now it’s basically garbage. And to top it all of I paid for this app now they want me to give them $1.29 a month! Arer these guys mentally retarded or what’s their problem🤑🤑🤑

I miss Gas cubby. Software is messed up. Does not show L/100KM correctly. I’m deleting it.

Greedy Developer. Insane! At one time this was the app to have. Now, nothing but greed from this developer. This last update is the last straw. Done with you. Don’t waste your time and most of all money on this garbage.

Very useful app.. I have been using the app for 3 months now. I’m using it to record file ups and service costs. I like the graphs and charts it provides. I also like that it tracks file efficiency.

What the heck. I open the app and try to enter a fuel up and it opens up Ashley Madison!?!?! What’s going on guys???

Pop ups!. Pushing your premium version with endless pop ups is frustrating. A simple yes or no and then stop this!

Loving this!. Absolutely love it. I've been using this app since the beginning. Don’t know what I would do without it. Keep up the great work!

Gascubby was better. Not impressed! Gas cubby was a better app Sucks

Not even worth $1. How is this app still running? Data all over the place, app tells me I have missed fuel ups but that is not the case. Average mpg is close to 6.6 it says 😂 Keep it, I’ll delete it and spread the word.

Was good till this last version. Everything has been screwed up with this version. Almost 5 years worth of data has gotten mixed up. Settings won't save. Was perfect till this update. Please fix

It’s decent. In testing the app was good and accurate. But lacking in details compared another I was testing. Still a good purchase for somebody who doesn’t want extra details like me

Great app for tracking mileage. I recently bought a plug-in hybrid and wanted to start tracking mileage to compare with my old car. I found this app and it’s perfect for my needs. It also supports maintenance cost tracking which I’ll use as well. The interface is very modern and pretty simple to use.

Subscription per device?. Just added account to second device, seeing ads even though I paid the yearly rate on original device/account.

Great app!. Fantastic app. Been using it for a couple of years free. Finally paid for a year subscription. Love it!

Nice fuel tracking app!. I got Fuelly and Road trip to try at the same time. Fuelly quickly became my favorite as it functions better and has a nicer interface. Should be a handy app to help keep track of economy and total spent!

Subscription to input my own notes?. A subscription? Really? Why would I pay monthly for a glorified notepad all of the information is input manually.

Data mining. Why is this app data mining? Apparent with iOS 14 notifications

Keep asking to pay. Miss the old app sick of the offer to restore at a price. I already paid for the full version then they sell out to someone else who wants more money for the same app. I will remove all my data and delete this crqp

Good software but..... I like the statistics tool very efficient but the price go up and the service go down especially when the tool don’t change over the time when they had add features everything go up very quickly with a single feature like taking pictures of your receipt and at the end duping the advertising of upgrade your product while you computing information very annoying but anyway I don’t think it worth to keep a product who stall in innovation

Great app. Nice app to keep track of all your automobile activities.

A shell of its former self. This app has gone downhill since it was GasCubby. The support is worse, and interface more convoluted, and the constant nag to purchase a subscription (even if you were a paid member before the migration) is enraging. Very, very disappointed.

Why. Why do you have the upgrade in front of the location and not allowing you to access. I do not want it and never will. So please put an x there so I have better access. All my nicknames are taken

Perfect app. Great for hyper milers

Logs don’t display correctly?. When I enter my kms for fuelups and maintenance and then save them Fuelly for some reason changes the kms? For example, I’ll enter 282,543kms for a fuelup and save the log. Then when I go back to look at the log the kms will be 181,478kms?? If I click to edit the log, the kms are correct but when I save it again it goes back to incorrectly displaying the kms. Pretty useless for tracking kms/fuel if it doesn’t display the information properly.

Good app. Good app.Perfect for rideshare.

Good interface, Lacking Adaptability. The app has a beautiful interface and is very user friendly. My problem with it is that when you go to put in the Litres you filled up, the units stays at Gallons and doesn’t adapt to the Canadian market, therefore I do not like this app.

👉 Are you looking for an Adsense alternative advertising platform?

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. Great interface and platform. I eve used Fuelly for several years, it’s great for tracking my expenses and economy across my vehicles. The one time I had an issue with the app, the owner/developer was quick to respond to my request and released an update. It’s much better customer service than any other iOS app I’ve used!

Tracks wrong MPG!!. Wow... I’ve used the app for a year now, was happy with it but today I found out that it somehow does not use the actual amount of Gallons you enter, but instead about 15% less which then of course makes your mileage seem much better than it actually is.. why the...? Why fool everyone? After one year of heavy use I JUST found out.. You only see the actual amount of Gallons when you go to”edit” on the fuel log. But when you go back it shows you that random amount. Careful people.. if you need accuracy, search elsewhere!

Makes logging full fill ups easy. Been using the Fuelly website for a few years before I started using the app, and I like how much (or little) info you can enter through the app and that you can take a picture of the receipt as well. I recommend it to everyone that brings up the gas mileage on their vehicles 🤘

Love the App. I have used this app religiously since 2010 when it was Gas Cubby. It’s a great tracking and often reminds me of miscellaneous maintenance actions to take and has helped keep my car running strong. I had given a 2 star review because of an issue where my average mpg was .9 mpg, grossly inaccurate. Fuelly’s customer service responded very quick and offered a solution that worked! Re-reviewing to 5 stars. Great app and great support!

Faithful User - 5 Stars!. This is one of my favorite apps of all time! I have a healthy dose of OCD towards my Chevy Diesel truck and Jeep Rubicon, so anything that touches my vehicles, be it service, recalls, fuel, etc. it is logged into this application. I love the feature of being able to attach a picture of each of my vehicles on their profiles. Very easy to quickly see which vehicle I am posting record to.

Good app. I would give this app 5 stars but something isn't right. After upgrading to gas cubby from their older app I no longer get notifications of service reminders. I have to manually check from time to time. I can't find any settings to enable this option. This app is great in tracking all vehicle details but reminder notifications are a must. Please advise

Lost 90% of data. I lost 90% of my data lasting five plus years. I did everything they told me to do with syncing all my data several TIMES!!! Now if you guys want me to pay to retrieve the rest of my data then JUST say that and then I will be forced to pay, but I refuse to pay for an app that loses 90% of all my data that I painstakingly entered for five PLUS YEARS Thaannk UUU!!

Used to be reliable. I’ve been using Fuelly for 4-5 years. Now I’m a paying customer. In the last few months I have been experiencing fill-up disappearing. I am 100% sure they were entered and I even added a receipt to one of them. Wish I had taken the picture of the receipt with my iOS camera app and not the Fuelly app camera. Now I have no record of that fill up. PLEASE FIX THIS!

Gas Cubby. I purchased this app nearly 6 or more years ago. Now today I have to purchase a subscription to continue using it if I don’t want the ads. What a horrible thing to do to your customers. You should be ashamed of this. This is not what I would have expected considering I have already purchased the full app years ago under a different name. Not a happy customer at all. I will stop referring your product to all my friends.

Beneficial app. I love this app. it keeps track of the gas mileage of my car, which allows me to know in detail whether my car mileage goes up or down. therefore giving me a really good idea of how my engine is working. Also this record helps the resale value of my car. thank you.

Love hate relationship. So for starters I absolutely love the app. We have been using it for several years and I only have one grape which gives us two stars. I am absolutely sick and tired of having to decline the premium subscription every time I login. I do not want to buy your subscription because I don’t see any added value in that. I love using your app and I would recommend it to anybody but it comes with the annoyance of always having to decline it every time I login. Take care of this or give an option to bow out forever and you will get five stars for me.

Odometer disappeared. When inputting a gas receipt it used to allow me to enter my odometer to get a fuel efficiency percentage but now all of a sudden it doesn’t give me the option to put it in. Along with that, when I open said receipt it shows zero for the odometer reading but when I try to edit the receipt there is no odometer box. In its place is a trip distance so basically I have to subtract the two odometer reading‘s that I manually put in the notes and find the trip distance for each fill up. Please reply with any information that can help fix this problem.

Okay but limited. I use the paid app, but sometimes when opening, it requires a password to be entered. Since I use Long and complex passwords, I don’t remember them. It needs face ID. This is a hassle when you’re in the car and you want to get going after a fill up. Another limitation is it can’t do individual trips. It’s it only keeps track of overall gas mileage since you started. I wish it had a trip indicator for gas mileage

Wish it didn’t have Ads. I really wish this didn’t jump to a subscription/ad based platform. I liked it back when it was ad free. Also for some reason my phone now shows AOA instead of the $ symbol for total mo way spent on gas. And total money spent on service. Not sure why the symbol is missing.

Bought this when it was Gas Cubby. Since I purchased this when it was gas cubby, slowly but surely the features I had are dwindling down to pay me! Not happy with your choices to charge the consumer to death. It’s almost time to write my own spread sheet in excel and do it myself. The latest update took away my location of where I fueled.

Free field data. I purchased Gas Cubby in 2010 or 11 then in 16 I think gas cubby became Fuelly. Fuelly wants me to get a subscription all the time and I refuse because I purchased the app, why would I pay again for it? Also, all of the gas mileage, fuel prices, locations, and usage data are collected and used for statistic that they get paid for as well. I am not going to pay them to input my data and then they sell my inputted data and get paid for it again. I did all the work for them. It is useful for the cost of operating and a maintenance log.

Disappointed. My Gas Cubby app contained all of my fuel and service records since purchasing my car in 2014. When it merged with Fuelly I lost all my records even though I followed the steps to export my data. Not only that but every time I attempt to use Fuelly it does not acknowledge that I have already set up my account with details entered about my vehicle. Customer service has been unable to find my exported data. I have not yet asked for help regarding my current account. This has been a huge disappointment and a reminder to never rely totally on an app to keep records for me.

Just set up. Wanted to use to replace other app not supported on this version of iOS. Would have liked to be able to begin with trip mileage (amount driven since last fill-up), at least as an option. I know my mpg for first tank data, but cannot begin keeping data on this app, until next tank. Also, why not allow user to fill in only info he/she chooses (ie leave cost blank), rather than say, “incomplete”

Fair app, does a fair job, but..... I inherited this app because Fuelly bought Gas Cubby which was a good app. Fuelly ruined the app but I’m over that now! It’s a good app to track your fuel efficiency. The problem is that the app constantly asks you to sign up for their subscription service. Fuelly, I’m not interested in getting your subscription service please stop asking. No matter how many times you ask, my answer is still no. I’m really getting tired of answering this question.

Popup Ads are awful. The free version has ads that are so bad that you can’t actually use the app! It constantly was sending me to the App Store every second. On top of that, it was trying to get me to call a spam number and wouldn’t let me do anything else. Every time I cancelled, the phone number would pop back up again. It was an infinite loop that I couldn’t get out of. This app is a piece of junk designed to force you into paying for their service! Why would I pay for something without trying it out to see how it works first? Beware downloading this app.

Ads ? After years of Gas Cubby and now this. Just updated my Fuelly app, I was a Gas Cubby app user for years, then got pushed over when fuelly bought them. Now after updating the Fuelly app I'm seeing ads. Terrible terrible terrible. You have years of data on my cars and obviously make money from selling this data, now you want ads also ? Hope you revert this policy, it's not right. Adding comment, it's just wrong when a developer has ads as a default on their app, again "fuelly" makes a profit from its members data.

Great App I’ve used it for 7 years now. I figure $5 is a small price to pay to support good developers who work hard and make a great app like Fuelly (Formerly Gas Cubby). Keep up the good work guys and I’ll keep paying. I literally have my last three cars since 2011 stored and I have added every tank (658 tanks total) for about 250,000 Miles. Great app.

Doesn't work with Gboard or other keyboards. I'm looking for a powerful auto expense tracker, and remember having used the predecessor, GasCubby some years ago. But when trying Fuelly out, I was shocked to see that it won't let me enter notes or such with GBoard or SwiftKey. I rely heavily on using such keyboards for faster and one handed entry, and have never before encountered an app that wouldn't work with them. That seems like really bad programming. Another problem I found is that it wouldn't let me enter a car wash with an odometer reading. That's silly. Car washing is an expense I want to track, but it's time related, not mileage. Sadly, I'll have to look elsewhere.

Great app, great service.. I’ve been using Fuelly for years, and it’s steadily gotten better over time. Never had any real issues to complain of, and it’s mostly been smooth sailing. Very happy with the data logging and overall interface. Definitely room for some future improvements, but there’s no better mileage tracking app available

Good. Needs some improvement.. Needs an easy way to submit missing gas stations. I have now typed in the same gas station several times and the app will not save this location. It’s a well known Costco, so it should be verifiable. Would be nice to get current data from users on gas prices. Works well overall. Keep up the good work.

Great concept, nicely executed. The basic concept of Fuelly is a social app to track auto mileage. It’s the app I needed for my 2018 hybrid. I wish for more social features- e.g. track your car against others of the same model in your area. And maybe some alternative charts and graphs? On the other hand, I like that the product design is simple and uncluttered, and the UX is top notch, so I’m not complaining.

Faulty coding. I have 12k miles or 12 month oil reminder which most recently was set to remind me in 250 miles. I entered a new service tagging the same “oil change” that is noted in the reminder with updated mileage. The reminder appropriately extended the next reminder for another 12k miles or 12 months. HOWEVER, I deleted the service from the logs which should have reset the reminder back to 250 miles. It did not. The reminder still thinks the service log exists and is still set to remind me in 12k miles. Surprising issue for a mature app. Reminders should have tight integration to service logs.

Arbitrary “upgrades,” turn your data into their cash crop. “Upgrades,” that offer no additional features and force my data into their hands are both creepy and unwelcome. Ads mean the user is their cow. They use the data you generate to make money. And if they claim they aren’t doing that today, it is presumably in the works. Why else would they want to “sync and store,” my personal data. Unless the whole point of that is to hold my data hostage for their subscription fee. Maybe it’s both. Update Nov 2018: Every iteration is another iteration of fewer features while still holding our data. I reiterate that their support and customer service is (at best) dodgy. This could have been a fantastic product that I’d have gladly given money to, if it didn’t feel like extortion. I am looking for alternatives. I do NOT recommend this product.

Charge for update!!. Update... Support returned my review and they have resolved the issue!! Now that’s worth 5 stars!! I purchased this way before Fuelly took over and now you update the app and force me into your subscription!! WOW!!!! Horrible business model... Especially since you won’t restore my purchases!! I’ll be looking for a different app and exporting my data!

Was good. Hasn’t been updated in 4yrs!!! WTH. have had the app for awhile with not issues other than the annoying push for the paid subscription when I’d already paid for the app. But now several iOS ver ago now the reminders became broken and gives garbage numbers saying that oil or tire rotations aren’t due for 1,250,000, and have to go into the reminder to see what the actual mileage that’s it’s due is.

Ads?! Buggy and glitchy. Ever since the update to 3.x the app has been buggy and slow. I synced a backup, deleted the app and reinstalled with no change. I now have duplicate entries in the service drop down section with no resolution even though app support said to do ‘xyz’ and still not fixed. Now there are ads and I’ve been a faithful user before it was Fuelly. Developer said to force close the app and should be good. Not the case. Time to go find a new app or go old school to Microsoft excel, something that doesn’t require monthly/yearly subscription. C-ya.

Ok for keeping a log, bad for analyzing data. I would like to be able to set filters for my logs and then see the statistics on my dashboard update depending on the filters I set. I’d like a simple yes/no checkbox for ethanol free gas. I’d like to be able to enter what my trip computer reported for fuel economy. Also, the fuel economy I calculate at today’s fuel up should really be applied to my previous fill up. The gas I put into my tank today should not be associated with an mpg calculation until I’ve actually burnt it up. So the gas data and fuel economy data in this app are not really correctly associated.

It’s Handy. I’ve been using Fuelly for many years, but only recently downloaded the App. The free version of the app is like a streamlined version of the website and is useful for logging fill-ups. The app does push for you to buy thing, but you can use those features for free through the website (so why purchase?). I use the app for the basics and the website for more detailed things.

Hate Subscription Prompts. **Update to Previous Review** Every time I open the app I am prompted to subscribe to a monthly or yearly subscription. The main reason I bought this app (when it was known as Gas Cubby) was to avoid ads. Well, the ads have been replaced with subscription prompts that take over the entire screen. No way to stop the prompts. Paid apps (or grandfathered in) should not do this. Bottom line: avoid unless you plan on subscribing. I have reduced my rating based on this ever present inconvenience. I have been using the Gas Cubby app since it's debut and it has been very helpful keeping track of my mileage. I also used the app when selling my car to show the buyer the average gas mileage for four years. Bottom line. Great app. Does what it says and with the update, it does it better.

Paid, but no premium access. On March 31, I paid for and renewed my annual subscription for premium service on the Fuelly app. A week ago I tried to save a receipt, and was asked if I wanted to upgrade to premium service or continue to use the free version. If I say no to the upgrade offer, I can’t save the receipt. If I say yes, the app tells me I already have premium service and that I paid for it on March 31. Three requests to the developer have gone unanswered, and don’t get me going about Apple’s lack of help.

Great app but room for improvement. I like the app and it’s ability to track all my usage but I wish it was easier to put in the information. A widget I could have on my Home Screen where I can quickly and easily put in my fillup’s would be the perfect way to get from a 4 to 5 star app.

Needed addition. Want the fifth star? Add a month by month breakdown of the averages for fuel prices, efficiency, etc. Right now, Fuelly shows my average fuel cost to be $2.18/gallon. That’s because I ran in the South and had a great month in January; since then, gas has risen close to $3.00, and my industry has suffered a slowdown, so there’s no way I’m paying 15c per mile anymore. It would make things easier for me if I had better cost/mile information.

Losing Functions. With each update the free version seems to lose another function. The most recent one I’ve lost is the ability to add the gas station or service station I’m using. This used to be automatic then I had to put it in manually. Now I can’t do that at all so I put it in the notes section. If the developers want everyone to pay for a subscription, then just say so. I’ll look for another app although I liked this one before these cheesy changes.

What’s up?. I just used the app after fill up and it’s telling me that I now have to a yearly subscription to eliminate advertisements but I had already updated to the paid version a few years ago and now I’ll have to do a yearly subscription. I’ll have to think long and hard.

Every Car Owner Should Have This. We love this app!! We have been using it for years and appreciate their improvements over time! I love that it helps us track our family’s cars fuel mileage and service and info. I love that it locates where you are fueling up and logs it for you. No car owner should be without this app! Definitely a must download!

Best Fuel App. I’ve tried at least 10 fuel/maintenance log apps. I’m crazy obsessive when it come to tracking maintenance and fuel costs. This is by far the best app I’ve used. The interface and especially the ability to store in the cloud separate from iCloud. Thank you to developers for creating such an amazing app.

Fuelly is a great fuel log!!!. We use this application to log all of the fuel that we use in our motorhome and all of our other cars. We like to keep track of what it cost for us to travel across the country and what we use locally. It has been flawless ever since they put the information on the cloud. I love this app works beautifully.

Good idea but lacks polish. You can’t type out a sentence in the notes area. You can only see the word you are typing until you close the text screen. Really? How did that get past testing? You also can’t select more than one photo at a time without digging down one at a time into your collection. Provide a select option so I can quickly grab all related photos and put them in the service entry.

Pretty good for a free app. I find it really frustrating that the odometer entries have to be cumulative. I’ve been resetting my odometer after each fuel up, so that I can easily see how many miles I’ve gotten for how much gas I’ve burned. However, the app calculates fuel efficiency based on ongoing odometer readings, so if you zero your odometer, this app will no longer be able to calculate long-term fuel efficiency for you. Ideally, I’d like there to be an option to enter odometer readings individually.

Liked the GPS Location station identifier - Until free version no longer caters for it. Liked the GPS Location station identifier - Until free version no longer caters for it therefore 4-stars... I like to recommend the application to all my family and friends because I love using it! Excellent for logging my vehicle records against it as well have the safety of the backup in the cloud should I lose my phone - I can restore logs going forward... Thanks for a great app!!

Good app. Service reminders a bit buggy but the overall the app is great for keeping track of fuel and services. Simple enough, place to put all the info you need, especially for DIY’ers. Back to reminders...if you do it by date, easy. If you set them by mileage, it gets screwy. For example, reminder is set for every 3000 miles for an oil change and it automatically says I’m over due by some odd number.

Great app but it has been charging me for premium without giving me the features. So I love the app, for the most part it does exactly what I want. However I have been paying for premium but continue to not get the features. It worked fine for the first few months but the last three months I have seen ads and pop ups about upgrades despite paying every month. I have emailed support about this twice with no response. Maybe this will get a response. I have screenshots on the app asking me to upgrade and my monthly payments. I have emailed via the app, I have checked my spam folder.

No help if you have a problem. I've been a paid subscriber for years. Recently, while syncing my data, I lost three years worth of data. The only option for support is to contact fuely by email. There isn't a phone or chat option. I emailed fuely with my issue. My first two requests for help were not answered. My third request was answered, but the representative who responded could not understand my issue. I explained it again he/she responded with an unrelated answer. I won't be renewing my subscription. I'll find a new provider who works with his customers.

Dislike the new system. You now have to record your full odometer rather than just the trip odometer & let Fuelly track for you. If you miss a fill up, it won’t calculate. No thanks—in my new car the odometer isn’t readily visible even. I’ll go back to old school, tracking it in a small note pad in the glove box.

Reminders. I purchased this app before it changed to Fuelly. After migrating to Fuelly the ads came back and the app will not send me an alert for my oil changes. I set a reminder for an oil change by distance every 5000 miles and it does not pop up with anything. I even tried creating a new test vehicle and entered fake records just to test the remind function. Still nothing. I cannot find anywhere to email or call for support only a forum that you have to create an account so you can post your questions only to have a bunch of other users just like myself who know nothing and are trying to figure this app out.
