15 min never get back. Like they are there to save the insurance company money. Reminds me of workman’s comp nurse one time telling me nothing wrong you have a cold when I needed surgery. If I have a cold I would know if I have a cold it’s because iam get sick. Better off wasting your time and save the fee for your time with a real doctor. I would not have tried this if I had the time to go see a doctor. So take this review how ever you want I would not be wasting my 15 min I will never get back if I can save you time to make your decision. Good luck hope u have better results than I did as with all the medication out in this world we live in research and development out there. OTC that’s what I needed to know.....

Symptom checker ruined. I wanted to use the symptom checker and was surprised the app wasn’t downloaded. I downloaded it and then remembered why I deleted it. The new symptom checker is simply awful. It wants you to match your symptoms against an auto completing list. If you don’t describe your symptoms "correctly", you will see a completely different set of possible conditions. There’s no guidance and no inquiry whatsoever. Then it asks for medications and past conditions. Neither is very complete. Your final list of possible conditions is not weighted by how common the condition is, so you may find #1 to be something obscure.

Latest news. Very useful and up to date information. I go to the site many times. Appreciate how well subjects are covered and information you can receive. One of the better apps you can install on your phone.

Update problems. The old version of the app was stellar. Since the update, however, the symptom checker, instead of choosing from a list based off body part, uses a system where you type your symptoms in and it gives you options from there. When inputting symptoms, even symptoms it offers as examples (such as nausea and headache) come back as “no result.” I used this app once after the update without issues, but now any symptoms typed in come back with “no result.” Also, conditions you input into your profile do not show up in symptom checker when it asks you about conditions (ex. Depression). Same thing happens with certain medications that aren’t as common.

Lone star lung &sleep clinic. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My father’s doctor recently moved to a different hospital where my father had doubts due to visiting the same staff and building for over 3 years now. We could not ask for more. The office is very clean and the staff will make you feel right at home. Dr. Paresh Patel has helped my father for many years. His willingness to worry and care for my father is great. Great staff and great location. Good luck guys on you’re new journey!

Need to bring back the location based symptom tool. I used to love symptom checker when it had the picture of a generic body and you could just point to whatever part of the body is bothering you. Now it’s all text based where you pretty much need to know what you have before you enter in the information. Pretty backwards to me as I don’t know what a lot of the names are for certain symptoms or conditions. I just know I have a pain in a certain part of my body and I want to app to give me options from there that help describe my class condition.

Update makes suggestions less accurate. I updated the app today and used it both before and after. It was a 5 star app until the change. The pop-up questions that come up after you select certain symptoms have changed. Before the update it asked if my symptoms were due to recent anti-biotic use, which they were and I was diagnosed later in the day by my doctor with the top option that came up. After the update I did the same thing because I was curious about the update and not only did it not ask me about recent anti-biotic use, the thing that was wrong with me wasn’t anywhere on the list of possible maladies. It also no longer asks what type of pain you’re having (burning, stabbing, etc) the list of drugs you can put in is very limited (thyroid meds and vitamin d aren’t on it), and they took away the body image altogether. Unfortunately that makes it look to me like this new update is far less accurate and less functional than the previous one. I hope they fix that soon, I rely on this app a lot.

VoiceOver User. Thanks to a recent update, this app is much more accessible for those of us who use VoiceOver. Now that I can use it, I find it terrific!!As an update to this review done months later, I find one issue. If I do a search in Conditions, I have to completely close and reopen the app, as no Back button appears. Otherwise, it is terrific! Yet another update to my initial review. I still have to close the app to get out of a major category, such as Conditions or Search. Now, in addition, if I am in Conditions, the A-Z list will not come up at all, even though it says it’s displaying. This means I can only access the Popular Searches. I’m out of luck if I need to look up something rare. I hope these will be fixed soon. Further update: Despite more updates to the app, all of the annoying bugs already mentioned are still there. I still have to close the app in order to go to another section (e.g., from Conditions to Drugs). I still can’t bring up the A-Z list of Conditions, or the A-Z list of Drugs; it’s only the Most Popular for both. No scrolling to a rare condition, or to a drug that isn’t on the top 94. May not be deliberate discrimination, but is frustrating nonetheless. Please fix!

Great resource for me.. Utilize daily medication reminders to verify when medications were taken as well as information about medications including drug interactions. Also list many of my medical issues with this resource. Only better source of medical information is my Hospital’s online system which tracks all data but compliance with medications. And also mood tracker. A mood tracker would help and be a great addition to WebMd resources.

My med guide. Excel at app I use it as my medical guide to diagnose Symptoms. This user friendly app gives me all I need to know about medicine how to use and side effects and weather it’s been banned for any reason what’ so ever. I also like the push notifications every now and then, it doesn’t pile up on my lock screen but it’s gives me advices and Heath issues and diseases.

Symptom checker updates = less accurate results. I like the old version of the body especially for stomach pain there are tons of different stomach pain that can mean tons of different things wrong that may not even be stomach. For instance husband most likely having gas pain or gallbladder pain but the only related question to his pain was where in the stomach it didn’t follow the pqrs (pain position, quality what it feels like, radiation does it go some where else and severity 0-10) which is basic assessing that it should. And it used to do. So when pain in right upper corner is the only answer I can give as for the stomach pain and it brings stomach cancer as the number one. This was not a good change to a decent app.

Hate loving it...... Love WebMD. Love the app. Love the useful information. Absolutely hate the notifications that I cannot find a way to shut off. I shut them off in the phone’s settings. I shut them off in the app’s settings and yet, I am still getting banners on my lock screen every time a WebMD email comes in. It is driving me crazy. I am about to take a drastic step and uninstall the app completely. Something I would hate doing.

Great web site!. I have always turned to WebMD for questions and concerns about my health and wellbeing. Just started an exercise and meal plan with them also. Need to improve my stamina, balance and want to feel and look better. I will continue to use this trusted source for my healthcare needs.

Could not live without it!!. I have an illness called cystic fibrosis so I find myself constantly searching medications and medications and their side effects and webmd has always been the number one source of info for that along with symptoms when I’m sick and I know it’s not cf and even my doctor has said he has never seen a system this accurate on the internet before!! Well he said inter web instead since he is an older fellow but still to receive compliments from a doctor has to feel good on your guys end!!

is webmd's new allergy app legit??. I downloaded your new allergy app thinking it would be an accurate tool for me, being a highly allergic person. Instead, what I get is an app that shows the SAME data day in and day out, with no changes indicated in each of the allergy categories, especially MOLD. Really???? Everyday registers the same data!! So how accurate is this!!! Even with cold weather the past few days, one would think the cold would kill some mold and allergy spores, i stead--what shows up is the same exact reading over and over again, no matter if it is warm out or cold! Glad I dont have to pay for this app!!!

Drug Interaction Checker. I never take medication without checking for drug interactions and it has stopped me from combining medications that could have dangerous results. Many of us depend on our pharmacy to do this but they are not always reliable. Better to double check. What’s good with this part of the app is that they include OTC medication which your pharmacist may not know your taking. What I would like to see improved is the symptom checker. It doesn’t give enough symptoms to choose from so the results are not very accurate. I also find most doctors/hospitals don’t feel you have a fever unless it’s 100.4. I assume they are going off 98.6 as the average temp. My normal temperature is 97.2. so in apps like these I add a degree to my temp. If you’re reading this tell your doctor what your normal temperature is and make sure it’s in your file.

Painfully slow. Since the last update over a week ago the app has become painfully slow, taking a full ten minutes at least, to check off a few pills as taken. The screen freezes constantly every time you touch it then you have to wait forever for it to move just a centimeter when sliding left in the pill reminder section or anywhere you tap in the app. A constant spinning icon in the middle of the screen with every tap. And now it has started to heat up my phone when I try to marked all pills as taken at one time because it’s so painful to visit the app several times a day. Time to ditch this app and find another pill tracker. I emailed support over a week ago and they’re aware of the issue because they responded, but nothing has been done. It worked fine until the last update. Now it’s useless to me. Very slowwwww and buggy. Time to find a new one. 👎

WebMD is a great source of information to look up information about wellness.. I use WebMD as a reliable source of information about wellness & illness. When my mother was very I’ll, she lived in Hilo, Hawaii. The doctors there couldn’t diagnose what was wrong with her. I had her give me her symptoms. With WebMD, & other sources I had available to me, I diagnosed her with Pancreatic Cancer. She never got that diagnosis from a doctor, until months later. She died in Hospice six months later. I have a MS in epidemiology.

Won’t open. Just spinning wheel.. Lately I get the daily update, but when I select it I get the spinning wheel and it doesn’t open the supposed subject! When I try to “read more” on a daily subject I get the spinning wheel! Never shows more to read! What’s up with the app? How do we fix this????? If I don’t get an answer. I will just delete the app! At least I won’t get this daily aggravation of info with no info. Fix it! Fix the read it part of the app! It just shows a spinning wheel!

medical terms/medications missing. During 'intake' where you are laying out your symptoms WebMD also (wisely) asks for background info. Two items requested are medications taken and medical conditions known. These entries are a joke because so many legitimate answers are not available to choose from. These are very ubiquitous medications (such as Synthroid generally for hypo-thyroidism) and well-known conditions (e.g. Multiple Sclerosis - not under MS either). Only 3/13 of my medications are on the list to choose from even though only one is too new to be in the most current edition of the PDR (Physicians' Desk Reference; a list of drugs and info about them); all WebMD has to do is purchase rights to use the PDF as the source of their drug list. As for medical conditions if you simply offer a write-in option then assign someone to edit them all adding the legitimate ones to the official list you would solve that problem too. As it stands this app is useless.

Good but room to improve. I use it for the allergy tracker and coronavirus updates. It’s good, but really wish they would follow iOS ux design guidelines and make it dark mode compatible. Currently this app hurts your health due to the eye bleed effect at night messing with your melatonin production and sleep circadian rhythm. Please fix that, just add a toggle in settings... that glare is so annoying.

WebMD for reminders. This app is great for helping me remember to take my pills and track any I’ve missed. My favorite feature is the reminder that appears on the lock screen. You can swipe the reminder to the side and a button appears that lets you mark it as “taken” or “skipped” - quick and easy. I credit this app with my keeping the med doses consistent without being intrusive to use.

Problems with notifications. Downloaded solely to replace the standalone allergy app, which I find helpful. I tried other allergy apps but did not find the features/regional coverage necessary to be of use. So from this app, I want the allergy notifications and nothing else. In the app, there are two notifications toggles — one for allergy notifications and one for “top stories” notifications. I deselected the latter but still get unwanted push notifications about random health articles. Again, I want allergy notifications ONLY but despite the appearance of choice, the notifications I’m getting are all or nothing. So I’ll be disabling notifications entirely in iOS settings until this is fixed, or just deleting the app otherwise.

It crashes after the new update. I have an iPhone with all the updates. Previously when using the safari and looking for information about a drug in the browser and the information comes from the WebMD page. if you have the app installed on the iPhone the safari automatically opens the app and you can see the information. Now with this new update it crashes and I can't see the info. I proceeded to uninstall WebMD app and reinstall and still the same, I had to delete the app so that then I can see the information in the browser without any problem. If you open the app and search the information using the app, it opens and works without any problems.

This update is very unresponsive. I hate it. Since the last update of this app on my iPhone it freezes every time I hit one of the buttons. It takes at least 60 seconds to load between when I press the button on my iPhone screen to win it registers so that I can check off that I have taken my medication. I know it’s not my phone, because no other app has this problem. Please fix this version. I am going to stop checking in the fact that I have taken my medication but keeping the app so that I have the note to vacations pop-up to remind me to take them. But as of right now, the app is more junk than it is usable

Thanks. Thanks so very much for Your wonderful Website. Your information is Always Invaluable. You are helping Me & so many others keep Healthy & also keeping Our Minds Alert. Information that I cannot find in other places seems to come in a Timely Manner. From the Bottom of My Heart, Thank You! God Bless You.

Needs work. When the allergy app was moved to this one some of the functionality was lost. It says allergy “tracker” but you can’t actually track anything. The pollen count is wildly off compared to two other apps I use — saying HIGH when the others literally say NONE. The allergy alerts say stay indoors or close windows from 5 to 10 am yet the alerts are delivered at 7 am. I eventually turned the alerts off but I keep getting them! I forced closed the app and logged out & in but it still sends them.

Medication Schedule Tracker. With WebMD I don’t have to second guess if I took my medication. WebMD gives me reminders on my phone and records the time I take my medication just with a simple click. It also keeps a daily, weekly, and monthly record. If I loose a pill out of its bottle WebMD can quickly identify it for me. Love this App, it has made my medication intake accurate. Life Saver!

Great program.. I use this program as much as possible. Every time I look for medical information this program has never let me down. Keep up the great work with all forms of medical information. I could fill this page with accolades but I’ll try to keep things short and sweet. Great program- Great information - Great Totally. Again Thank you very much. Daniel S.

Sign in Problems and Deleted Info. I am really upset that for no reason the WebMd iphone app signed me out and would not accept my password. So I had my password reset and verified online using my Safari browser on my MacBook that everything was ok. I am still signed in with the new password on my MacBook but cannot sign into the WebMd app. Not only that but it appears I have no saved articles on the web site, and I had lots of saved articles. I hope those are not gone when the app decides to start working. Please fix this as I depend on the app for medication reminders and also for medical information, probably pointless now since it looks like all my saved content is gone.

This is a Lifesaver. I was diagnosed with heart failure two years ago. I went for my annual checkup and my pcp became concerned with my heart rate. Between my primary care doctor, endocrinologist, and cardiologist, I am now on 22 pills per day. I can happily say my condition has stabilized in part due to the reminders I receive in the morning, afternoon and evening from the WebMD app. The app makes it easy to add dosages, pictures of medications, times. *(I wish you guys would add biweekly intervals bc I have one medication that I take every other week but I can only put in weekly and then have to remember if I took it last week, smh). I have recommended this app to others because I find the details even more helpful than my iPhone. Thank you for keeping me safe. JR

Medication reminders needs update. I love the app only reason I give 4 stars is because I think the med reminders need more options for timing and reminding I’m on ajovy injections one time monthly , and humira every 2 weeks They should add weekly , monthly, quarterly , and so on so forth , as well as for reminders add a free calling feature that you get a phone call that says “hello NAME , this is a reminder call to take your medications ajovy , humira , etc , etc , etc scheduled for TIME”

WebMD is great!!!. I've been using the website since 2000 and have always been satisfied with the information I found. No everyone is fortunate enough to know about this app or the website which is a shame. If they could look up their symptoms and get a general idea about what is wrong with them and if they should go to the doctor or not, maybe that would keep people from making unnecessary appointments and keeping doctors from seeing patients who really need to be seen! Thanks for the app, it rules!!

Great Web Site. Great site to get concise medical information. It helps to be informed about meds and side effects, potential medical issues and symptoms and conventional treatments. It also helps to know what questions to ask when seeing medical professionals and to assess their competence. Written in language you can understand without unnecessary medical terms. Highly recommend.

Details Matter. Generally I enjoy using this app for my medication reminders, looking up drug interactions, and health news. One annoying oversight I’ve discovered is when I travel, changing time zones, the app does not recognize the new time zone and reminds me to take my meds as if I was still home. So I end up changing the reminders when I travel. It shouldn’t be that way, in my opinion. I’m sure a software patch could address that issue by confirming with the user that they want to update their time zone/location.

Almost rated it a 5 star. I almost rated this app a 5 star but it has one flaw that just drives me crazy. That is when you allow it to send you notifications and you review them in the notification screen. Before you select one you have to decide which one is the most important because once you select one all the others just disappear even if you have a medication reminder. And if you select the medication reminder first then every thing else disappears.

Life Saver. WebMD has literally saved my life a few times by giving me the information on medications that were prescribed for me; not too long ago, I was given a medication for PTSD and was not told that it is also used for high blood pressure. I had taken my night time medications which included my Diovan for high blood pressure, as well as the medication Prozocin which was prescribed for PTSD and was never told by any of my physicians that this was originally prescribed for high blood pressure. I went to my doctor for a treatment and I was so lethargic that the on call doctor thought I had overdosed because my blood pressure was so low 48/20 and he told the nurse to give me Narcan which made me very very sick. They were told that I hadn’t taken anything besides my blood pressure pill and the 3 Prozocin for my PTSD. And they never mentioned that I had literally taken too much medication to combat high blood pressure between the two medications. I came home from the hospital and went to WebMD and found answers about all of my medications and I had three other medications that were not supposed to be used together and made an appointment to discuss this with my physician and my medications were changed. After this close call I always use WebMd to check out any mew prescription that I am given before I ever get it filled. Thank you WEBMD FOR SAVING MY LIFE! Rhonda Moffatt

Useful for medication reminders but. I am using this app as a medication tracker. It reminds me to take my vitamins every day, and it logs when you check you’ve taken it. It also shows you’re level of adherence (how often you miss), which is a nice incentive. I would give it 5 stars if I were able to a calendar by month that showed adherence. For now, you have to go day by day.

Great reference resource and reminder. This is my go to app for medical reference information. It includes information from respected sources that help me to better communicate with my doctor and to better understand any conditions we discuss. The medication reminder is a must have for me. I don’t normally take any medications so in the odd chance I have to take on for a short time, I rely on the reminder to keep me on schedule. Without it I always used to miss a dose. Only improvement I would recommend is to allow the schedule to start and stop at specific times not just the day. I am taking some medication post surgery that didn’t start until that evening but the app adds the morning and mid day doses to the schedule forcing you to either say you took them or skipped. Skipping lowers your adherence score and selecting taken results in the wrong count. Neither are major issues but it would be helpful for a pill counter.

Everything Medical. The Best Website EvER , Medicine and Medical info and Medics of all Professional Studies and Level of Professional Education including you guys at WebMD, are the best ! I appreciate everything that you do and I will always refer to your Website, I’ve learned a lot and you guys answered my questions . Thank You !!

More search options pleeeease. First I want to say thank you. Because y’all don’t hear that enough. This collection of data is pretty remarkable. So thanks to each of you for making it possible. If I begin typing a key word, the search feature allows only certain results. Maybe you could team up with a search engine so patients could get more comprehensive results? I don’t know. Just a thought.

Thanks for the info.. In March( the 5th) I found out I had a fairly rare type of Leukemia, Acute Proglycemic Leukemia (APL) for short. This web site really helped me understand what was going on at the Cellular and genetic level. I just wonder if there are any other TX regimens besides Arsenic trioxide and Tretinion at the ANN Arbor VA. I was thinking that after the APL is cured,if stem cells might strengthen my immune system to prevent recurrence. Where might I find out of such research has been done in this area? Thanks in advance. Lynn. M.

5 stars. I wish I started to use this app before all of my doctors appointments as they were a waste of time, they did a lot of testing on me and couldn’t find anything so I stopped going. I get horrible depression mostly physically days I wonder if it’s something else I use this app it reminds me it’s only depression I also suffer migraines but not like I used to. I don’t usually do ratings but this app deserves it I also learned about diseases because of it to which I like doing.

When you fix, let me know!. This version does NOT allow you to elaborate on your symptoms. It also does not recognize a lot of pharmaceutical medications whether by brand or generic name. I think just downloaded it yesterday & I’m going to delete it today. I don’t think the new system checker can truthfully help me if it can’t get passed the medication part. Suppose my pain is a drug interaction problem? I truthfully miss the avatar which is NOT on this new update. At least it allowed me to get more specific about my pain.

PLEASE deprecate outdated articles/information. PLEASE change your method of recommending other articles. Especially for people who are just skimming headlines, if an article pops up that says something like masks no longer required, but now masks are required again, you create a vicious cycle of misinformation. Please prominently feature the date of the article with the headline whenever displaying the headline. Perhaps for COVID related articles and other quickly changing topics you could remove them from the recommended pool after a week or some appropriate length of time, but still make them available for search results, with the article date prominently displayed?

Hate the new symptom checker 😏. I used this app all the time in the past, however I haven’t had the need to use it lately until this week and wow! The fact that they don’t have the body there anymore for you to point out where the pain is at on the body is frustrating. It ask questions by using the names of the body parts and I’m sorry I’m not a doctor so I don’t know the names of every single body part. So is that much harder to describe what kind of pain you’re having. That’s my only complaint everything else is good.

Beta symptom checker is horrible. The Beta symptom checker is horrible. The symptom search doesn’t show all possible options (ie searching for Red doesn’t show anything about skin, but yet searching ‘Skin Red’ shows 8 options), so you have to spend additional time and get creative with finding search terms. Then on the ‘Enter your history’ screen, the current medications search doesn’t include some common medications (eg Effexor XR - antidepressant, chlorthalidone- diuretic). The past or current conditions also lacks common and not so common conditions. It doesn’t have any variation of GERD aka acid reflux or heartburn Searching for obese or obesity only brings up ‘Past obese surgery.’ Don’t roll out a new/Beta feature to general public if your list of values doesn’t even include very common conditions.

Not for special needs or complex/complete diagnosis. It’s a decent app and WebMD is definitely decent at providing basic insight on a fair amount of conditions however it cannot be used for complex diagnosis and absolutely should not be considered a substitute for a medical professional. I know there are some in the world that cannot afford healthcare so it becomes a necessity to rely on information provided from a source like this so I initially gave it 4 stars, just based on that. Otherwise it’s certainly missing conditions and symptoms which, for me, means for people who have non-verbal family members or loved ones it can almost be useless so I dropped it back to 3 stars. It would be helpful if the conditions and symptoms of special needs patients could be given more priority/attention than it’s currently receiving from WebMD. But that’s just me, be your own judge.

Great app. I have started using more features offered within the WebMD app, such as the Med reminder. The information is good usable information for everyday. Since I am a senior now I seem to have more questions, WebMD is my first go to. Would be nice if WebMD added a blood pressure tracking option within your app. Thank you for developing such a useful app.

Top app. Awesome... Helps me understand things when I am sick! Very simple and easy for the average person i.e. non-doctors/ pharmacists, etc...

Great. Exactly what I needed for a medication alarm, with a lot more options as a bonus.

Selling Your Health Details + Ad Retargeting. These people have chosen to sell the health information you enter into the app, to a very long list of businesses. They could have chosen a less sinister finance model, but they’re happy claiming ownership of your most personal information and selling it.

Great medical app & med reminder. I see there is an option to renew scripts through the app, but only in US stores. Would be great for international users if more pharmacy options given

So helpful. Helps me get a finger on whats wrong so I can take it to my Dr. A good go to app for childrens fevers etc...

FIVE STARS +. This is one of the most informative Apps I have on my phone... I'm a person that prefers to stay away from the doctor as much as possible, after all that is where all the sick people gather ...so this App gives me the heads up as to when and if I really need to go ... Plus it has the added bonus of lots other health info at your finger tips all in all a great App!

Very useful. I was regularly using the website so it's great to have access to it via an app.

Not happy with the porn ads. I understand you use ads to generate income, but I wasn't happy to click for more info on a topic, and be sent to a porn page. I had to force close the app as there was no other way to go back!

Fantastic, life saving app. This app was fantastic, I was experiencing major head pains, sore jaw and itchy eyes. Webmd managed to find that I had broken my toe, very helpful. Thank you, saved me an expensive trip to the doctor

Extremely helpful. This is an accurate, helpful app that gives guidance and support during times of illness without substituting for a professional medical practitioner. It's filled with literally THOUSANDS of conditions and my favourite feature is the symptom checker as it's very detailed therefore giving a more accurate suggestion of possible medical conditions. The app emphasises the importance of seeing your GP, which makes me feel more comfortable using it.

Useless when it comes to look for medical services near you in austalia. Can't find pharmacy or any medical practice nearby. Not designed for australia. Other than that easy to use. Gives good insight on subject

amazing. its like a life coach, a doctor and a friend all in one I love it

Measurement support lacking. No ability to change from U.S to metric.

Fantastic medical reference app. Very detailed and informative application. Well designed and easy to use. What an amazing medical reference! Only problem is that it occasionally crashes - however this app is so good it still gets 5*

Very helpful guide. This is a great app for quickly checking simple symptoms, medications and finding new information on health, fitness, beauty and relationships.

Learning.. I learn a lots of the body and how to take care of it. Very good.

Best medical app. User friendly and sure as hell knows more than some doctors know...

Watch update better. Update for watch is better but still the best.

Useless symptom checker. The “new and improved” symptom checker is useless compared to the old version. Having to think of what the symptoms might be listed as is difficult, and you can’t choose which part of the body the symptom affects or appears. I hope WedMD go back to their previous easy to use, helpful version.

Excellent!!!. This App is great for helping yourself or someone else in the future.

Great App. Great app for symptom checker.. Although an Australian version would be better, but other then that i like this app!

Great. It is a big complicated to use but helpful and useful.

Great app!!. Being a person who doesn't enjoy perfect health but who has an interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and keeping abreast of my condition I find this app to be very helpful.

So helpful!!. Fantastic app, I'm sure my doctor hates me to self diagnose !!

Mixed. Americanised. Service provider listings don't work in Australia. Information in some sections is very limited but in others is good.

Please make med reminders editable. I mainly use this app for its medication reminder function. I'm good at remembering what I take but sometimes lose track of the time, so the alerts help me take my medication on time. I've found if you accidentally click "take" there is no way to edit that back to not yet taken, which is an unfortunate glitch.

Good idea. Informative app but needs to be modified for markets outside of the USA. Telling people to dial 911, when they don't live in the USA can be dangerous. And yes, there are people in other countries who do dial 911, where 911 doesn't exist. 4 star otherwise.

Useless new symptom checker.. Deleted the app immediately because it's useless

Insightful, handy, great app to have in pocket!. Easy to use application for helpful information for common health problems. This app was recommended to myself from an emergency Dr.

Awesome app. Exactly what I needed, perfect app for all medical needs and to keep track of health.

Am I missing something?. This has to be the silliest app I have ever downloaded. It does nothing, literally nothing! I change settings and just go round in circles. I just cannot work out how to use it.

Good app. This is a simple and easy to read information.

Great tool instead of using Dr. Google. Great app for those looking for a top-line diagnosis on symptoms or changes in the body

Useful. Easy to use, informative, works great!

Love it!!!!!!!!. Best site use it when I feel unwell and it always tells me the right information. Get it!

Best app I ever downloaded. You can do everything on their, it specializes itself to the things you're interested in and has this great section where u can put in any random symptoms u have and it will literally find and causes, sicknesses or illnesses that may be present and give u advice

The best!. This app is a most comprehensive, accessible, up-to-date and easy to read medical reference that I have found. Highly recommended.

Well formatted, informed app!. The only failing of this app I have found is that location wise it does not involve Australia (as in the search for pharmacies and hospitals) However it does have Australian medicines such as panadol, which many others do not. I have found the app to be very informative and very good value for the "free(!)" charge. I have also used it on a daily basis and it has helped expand my knowledge on symptoms and treatment for disorders and ailments. Yes the symptom checker is broad with results but in the medical field all potential causes of symptoms are broad so don't let that deter you. It includes medication warnings and interactions with other pharmaceuticals. Brilliant app!

Awesome app. Love this app tells you everything u want to know about your health..!!

Excellent App!. Great symptom checker that gives you accurate diagnosis based on probability and lots of information about how to treat. Also, chose I few top topics to add to my profile and gave some good articles of interest. Easy to use and nice easy to read font and format. Thanks so much! What a deal.

Needs kg option and cm option. Good app but needs an option to switch from lbs to kg and so on.

Excellent App. After reaching 60 and having 2 stents put into my heart and hence a lot of tablets WebMD was excellent in reminding me to take the tablets. The symptoms checks and advice are good also. Thanks for a great app in this technological age

Improvement- doesn't cover other countries. Yes an improvement but no use if outside of USA. plus unable to search for a doctor, makes you put in a their name, what happens if you are on holidays and know no doctors or hospital in the area. Can it search ? Don't think so.

What have you done?. This new version is terrible. Roll back to the old one owners. Clearly you didn’t get any user feedback first.

Best app. The best app by far especially if you need a quick way to know what to do when symptoms come on and the doctors ain't open.

Crashes Often. This APP crashes often so I don't bother much with it, otherwise it has excellent information and will be very useful with an update to fix the problem.

Terrible!. New improved symptom checker is useless!!!

Nice App. I've enjoyed using this app and looking for a device so I can get more interaction with WebMD. I would like to see metric available to input my weight. I live in AUS and we use Kg's and not pounds. Looking forward to this feature in an update. Keep up the good work.

LOVE IT. I absolutely love this app. I go on the website all the time and when I found out that there was an app I was so happy.

Great little app except........... Wished it was focused and designed for Australia as well. It indicates for emergency call 911 where as we call 000, also unable to locate hospitals, pharmacies etc in Australia . Over all despite these 2 unfortunate disappointments the app is well designed with very useful information covering various topics from medications, conditions to symptoms and one of my favorites First Aid information all in the one app.  for now wen you add Australia onto the map 

Update. I am not a huge fan of the new update. I miss having the body option so I could just click on what hurts. I don’t know what my symptoms are called, that’s why I came to WebMD in the first place. I find this to be an ineffective update for the average person, your target audience.

well. meh if I could connect it would be awesome

The first place that I look.. If I have a question this is my first stop and often my last stop as the answer is here.

Nothing but ads now! Used to be good.. Used to be the best app, it was my go to for all my health questions. Can’t stand it anymore nothing but ads everywhere on every page. I uninstalled it and would never recommend it.

Get some local canadian content!!!!!!. What's the point if you can't look up local listings in Canada

It WAS great. It was really good until they updated the symptom checker, now it’s hard to find the extract symptom you’re looking for on the correct part on the body. It’s especially hard because you have to search symptoms instead of looking threw them as sometimes you didn’t realize something was a symptom until you see it in writing. Sometimes they don’t even have the symptom. The past condition search doesn’t have very many actual condition. 100% would not recommend

Use often. I like the app and use it often. It provides me with the info I'm looking for. TY

Used to be usefull. Sucks now. Zero stars if possible.

Liked the old version better. I put in what symptoms I can but new version doesn’t have all my symptoms. I’ve seen my dentist so I know what the problem is now but webmd gave nothing close to what the issue was. I saw 2 doctors 3 dentists just for the last one to spot the issue.

Keeps closing. Been using for a long time and worked great now it keeps signing me out and losing my medication reminders. Please fix

Good app. The app is a great way for having on hand the names of the meds a person takes. The reminders for me is an extra method of staying on track. I wish being able to go back into the to mark meds taken. Sometimes I’m charging the phone and forget to track what I’ve taken. Thank goodness, I track meds two ways.

Health alert. I find the health updates very helpful, and often do search’s on the wed numerous times throughout my week 👍❤️

Great app. Very good app have use over 25 years now and I am not disappointed with finding the required information each time

Love it. Very friendly user

Unable to open app. There’s a little problem with this app. Like every time I open this app it automatically closes sending me back to the home screen. I so wanted to send feedbacks to the developers so that they can investigate soon.

Amazing!!. What an amazing app! I use it ALL the time, because I like to diagnose myself and dislike going to a doctor. The only things it could use are a) a search box for symptoms and b) Canadian listings for the places. Thanks for the great app!

EXCELLENT APP. Excellent information on all aspects of the medical and health world.

Great and helpful. Amazingly great guide with helpful information for everyone .

self education. This website, WebMd is a life changer believe me. it has done a wonderful job at educating the world at large on the tiniest things. it is good to stay informed & alert. well done to the team of professionals and writers and creatives and contributors . i deeply value and appreciate this initiative and would recommend to anyone who values education and awareness of health. Thank you so much . Much Love ❤️

WebMD. I love reading from WEBMD , very informative site

Handiest app available. I recommend this app to every parent and family.

Tracking Meds. If you need to be remind to take your medication this is the prefect app to use. It is user friendly and easy to use. I track my meds including vitamins.

Updated sign-in. Thanks for making it possible for Canadians to sign-in. Looking forward to Canadian local listings.

Great Health Apt. If you what to stay healthy follow Web MD. It keeps you up to date. It helps you with showing symptoms to watch for.

In General. I have investigated and learned a great many things. I confirm with a medical practitioner and they appear to be in agreement for most part.

Good app BUT. It's a good app to use but I have to use a different app for my meds because this doesn't list all meds

The Medical Administration Record. I like the option to keep track of your daily medication. I always have it on hand if a doctor asks me for it. I like the pod casts and the items that you can read. I have yet to find a better app than Webmd.

🏷. Oolong No oooo

Easy smart answers. Thanks

Web Md. Very helpful to give me quick information on medication, conditions that need further understanding , or procedures that my family might be undergoing which I then can ask my doctor about if needed.

New update. Hate the new update for adding symptoms

No Canadian listings. Great content but should be Canadian friendly as well

Not loving the update.. I like before when you could pick where on the body your symptoms are and then they’d ask questions about them. I liked that. It should stay that way about then make it so you can also put your own stuff in if you don’t find it in the lists.

Good but could use additional info. I had to take 10 pills at one time and found it difficult to work with. Plus there are medications in Canada that are not on the list. I had to combine two apps to give me the desired outcome I needed while sick.

Df. Need a canadian version u idiots

Needs to be Canadian'ized. It needs to be expanded to include pharmacies, hospitals, specialists etc. in Canada but still handy to have all the reference information at your fingertips. Who can complain for free :)

Canadian content please !!!!. Please give us Canadian content too.

WebMed review. Valuable asset for cross-checking possible interactions between multiple prescriptions

Not what it says. Description says you could record medical history and information. You can not.

Very informative. Thank you so much for creating this App. I am always searching the symptoms, the drugs & the side effects on WebMed. It’s my little encyclopedia that’s on my phone and always with me. I wish you all the best for keeping the App up to date. Thank you so much!

Good app. J'adore cette app. L'information y est complète !

Great fun for hypochondriacs. I’m a certified hypochondriac™ and I approve this app

App is Limited. "Local Health Listings" have no Canadian content.

Good Application. WebMd is a very useful and informative app. As if you want to check symptoms and if you want to get the basic information about the health issue. I would surely recommend to download this app. Really helped me alot and its even good for the peer groups and children.👍🏽

Crashes. I really liked this app. It worked all the time but now it won’t let you add any more reminders because it crashes all the time

Great for information on the drugs itself.. Maybe a suggestion is to use social media to make people aware of this app this way more people know about the drugs and interactions.

Missing major symptoms.. This is an awful resource when checking very basic symptoms. It was missing 3 of the 4 symptoms I was experiencing. I did try a variety of different searches. I’m deleting this.

An Alarm. Information is excellent but it really needs an alarm sound when it’s time to take medication!!!

Love it!. Amazing app and amazing display.

Loading Issues on IPAD. It’s a great source of info but I’m not able to load the content.😫😫😫😫😫😫😫

Best Med App. This is the best Med App out there. It reminds me to take my meds at the right time. It also has information about COVID-19, which is updated every day. There is various other information as well. Great app. Thank you!

A perfect medical reference site. WebMD always provides an accurate, dependable and very informative reference site in both medical & layman language. It is one of the few medical sites in which the general public can be assured they are receiving correct information.

Starting Point. Most of my inquiries have been about medicine. My questions were answered fully most of the time. At other times at least I had a starting point.

So thankful. I am so thankful to have WebMD to find information on so many things! I have used it for years and am grateful that it is available to me. Such a wealth of information to stay on top of medicine, symptoms, etc etc.

Very user friendly. Easy to find medical information. When describing symptoms, many options are presented that may help in the understanding your situation. You’re better prepared to visit your physician.

Search Display Error. Using WebMD on iPAD Pro 12.9. In landscape mode the search page results are cut off on both the left and right side. The app is not adjusting for position of display or model of hardware device being used. WebMD must quality check every update to confirm proper operation prior to release. So WebMD get this issue corrected and prevent it from happening in the future!

Thank you, WebMd. I enjoy having the latest info about health related and medical research and breakthroughs sent in daily notifications. I would not have time otherwise to read through all the info out there to be aware of poignant topics that could benefit myself and others. Thank you WebMd

Med Reminders. So far so good. The app is more helpful than an alarm for meditation reminders. One big problem is you can choose the dosage of pill but there's no option to change how many of each drug that is taken. Changing that would make the more well rounded. Also, it would be nice to clear all the dates prior as taken. I was separated from my phone for a few days and now my percentages are all low.

Know your meds and your conditions. Be careful what kind of medication you’re taking. Have this app before you or your family to get help and have some knowledge of your symptoms and condition.

Easy to use, pretty accurate. I like this because it’s easy to make a list of symptoms, and the app will make a chart of all the possible reasons/diseases/infections/diagnosis which help me to explain better to my doctor how I am feeling when I go in for my next check up.

Quick easy informative. The Webmd app is great. Handy because it’s on my phone. Timely and informative articles and they are of a good length - long enough to educate, concise enough to read in a reasonable amount of time. The drug interaction tool is helpful. All around good app to have.

It’s okay. The information WebMD provides is not intuitive to get to. Many times it’s misleading. As an example, if you search for “what foods give you gas” there is an article with the headline “surprisingly Fifteen foods that give you gas.” When you open it, there is only one…apples. I find that common in there articles.

5 Star website. I have gone on this site so many times. I only use this site for medical info because they are rated high. I trust what they say and they give you concrete information. This is a very reputable medical info site and I will continue use to use it.

Love My WebMD. I love the concept and layout of webmd, and enjoy my ability to store med info and have instant research available. My favorite tool is “med conflicts” which is an important function for me with many new Rx. But I wish the interface worked a little better and it would also make it easy to delete meds. But I still give it a 4 .

Poor loading speeds. What is this web site. Slow loading. Content poor. Want to go to specific subject. tough! Too many pop up ads too.

Quick information. I sometimes wonder if my symptoms will require a doctor visit and after looking up information can make that determination for myself.

Always meets this old man's present condition. Today it was suppose to be the danger of loneliness which is my present condition, which would have been helpful but it never materialized on my I Pad what was advertised on the welcome screen. Does that quite often on WebMD. I am certain it would have been helpful though.

Accurate, current information. WebMD is my go-to source for any medical information. I only wish it wasn’t necessary for some of the ads to be displayed for products or services that are of questionable effectiveness. And, those ads pop up first.

Medication List. Love WebMD but this app could use some updating and more functions. The biggest missing function is an easy to use place where the user can list the medications they take. Not Reminders...just a list. This function was available on the iTriage app and was great but the app has since been removed. Doctors always want a list of what you are taking when you see them and having this at your fingertips would be extremely helpful.

Gender =/= Sex. It would be better to put “sex” as the word to fill out when asking for the patient to choose male or female at the start because that is the medically relevant question. Gender and sex are not the same thing. To act as if it is otherwise makes this app come across as pretty medically unproffessional to me as a trans person.

Sir,. If there are some type of ill brain idiot, that does not know how to dispose of their own or perhaps someone else in their family or an older persons of their un-used and out-dated pills and medication,.. there is absolutely no hope for them. Those that suggest taking them to an government agency are just stupid, as the people who received them, what in the Sam-Heck are the receiver’s going to do with them, or how are they going to extinguish them, they ain’t going to flush, burn or bury they are not going to throw them in a lake or river, so they are going to vaporize your old pills huh?

It works!. Allergy tracker really works! When my symptoms are bothering me, I can check to see the levels of Ragweed, Trees and Dust are high. When I’m not having symptoms, the levels are low. So, bottom line is that the app really helps me identify my issues and it simply works!

So simple and easy.. I don’t usually do this, but I had to. This is the best and most simple medication reminder app I’ve used. On top of that, it has a symptom checker, pill identifier, condition checker, pill interactions and more in just this app. I don’t have to download multiple apps for those features, but they’re all in this one! I love it.

Accurate Medical Info. WebMD is my go to source for medical info that is written for the lay person who is not familiar with medical terminology and lacks a background in medicine. I do have a medical background so I am confident when I say it’s always accurate and up to date. I highly recommend WebMD to everyone.

Overall very handy.. I just use the meds reminder portion which has an integrated Apple Watch app. The reminders work, and I like that it tracks overall compliance. One bug is like to see addressed: when you “take” the med on your watch that it should clear the notification badge on the iPhone.

WebMD app. Whenever I click on a link that uses the Wemd app is boots me off the page I’m on and to the app with the WebMD page open. He problem is that you can’t find the answer to the question you are looking for. The page set up is confusing and has way too much other information not related to what I’m looking for you lose patience. They need to fix this.

5 stars amazing app but. I love this app but there are some typos. Like for hyperthermia (heat stroke) under the symptoms it says “ and a lack of seating” which it’s supposed to be sweating. I know people will think that’s supposed to be sweating. But please just go through some of your conditions, drugs ect to check for typos. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Symptom checker. The new symptom checker is not great. Sometimes I don’t know how to describe what is happening or what it’s called. The list made it a million times easier to find what I needed to find. Now I need to know exactly what symptom to put in order to get any possible conditions that even sound remotely plausible. I also miss being able to add details to the symptoms. I don’t know why it’s so much more vague now but I won’t be using it anymore since it doesn’t help anymore at all.

27/7 COVID fake news. I’ve trusted Webmd for years with accurate, latest scientific medical information only to be bombarded daily with fake and false information on COVID. If WebMd is willing to carry the fake news and coverup information for rogue science and politics, that how can I trust them with anything else? The answer ,I can’t. Good bye WebMd and thank you for showing your true colors. You would rather defend rogue science instead of the millions of victims who died or were infected by it.

Thought it was great…at first. It’s very hard to get responses, first after receiving a scrip, can’t get anyone to return neither Walgreens or my request to release the remaining 30 days worth of pills. The doctors won’t want you to call them and there is very little information on how to get prescription problems remedied.

Tracking symptoms…. The only reason i downloaded this app is because I can’t find anything else free that tracks and graphs like this. Initially I thought it was fantastic, I could track every occurrence of pulsatile tinnitus in relation to IIH- UNTIL, I went to enter a 4th occurrence of the same symptom and it says “only 3 entries allowed per day” why??????? Now I have to go and find another application/method to track my symptoms.

So Very Helpful. Thank you for always being there for me when I am in need of medical help. You are right at my fingertip and I really appreciate the fact that you are here on my phone. Thank You 😊

Symptom finder doesn’t really help. If you say you have foot pain you are no longer able to say where your pain is. Now if you say that you have foot pain it says most likely plantar fasciitis. I have dealt with the pain from plantar fasciitis several times and still have pain from it since it has been a chronic problem for the last 2 years. Recently I have pain in my other foot but it’s the top of the foot that throbs with the current symptom finder the only ailment that comes up is plantar fasciitis

Not true. You know I used to believe in this a lot but when an area big as some states in Texas get rain for a week then during that time this says dust is high that when I realize how this is base on year past. Not actual numbers !! So I am not happy with this any more. I will probably be looking for something that is more up to date that use actual numbers not a guess because of years prior. 👎👎👎👎

Like many apps, bad updates. The new update took away many of the follow up questions on the symptom checker making the experience of the app more frustrating. Now there is no choice to select areas of the body and then see symptoms of that part of the body, instead you have to try and put into words every issue and it’s just not a useful or good setup at all. I used to use it all the time and now it just frustrates me.

Update Stinks!!. What happened, no matter how many times I change the password it Won’t let me sign in??????? PIN number disappeared & won’t let me log in, even when I changed password over & over again!! Lost all my records?????????

Apple watch. I use the Apple Watch occasionally to enter taking medications. The app changes the previously entered time to the current time, i.e. entering medication at 0800 changes the time of the previous entry from 0600 to 0800. While the notification that the medication was taken is entered the time yields a incorrect history. This is annoying. By the way, I had to create a new nickname to send the review.

Propaganda machine. Sad to see WebMD reduced to a lefty fear monger propaganda machine. “Billions spend on unvaccinated people at the hospital”. Did you clarify that according to CDC, “ people are considered fully vaccinated for COVID-19 ≥2 weeks after they have received the second dose in a 2-dose series (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or ≥2 weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson [J&J]/Janssen) †”. Unfortunately, many got sick within two weeks of their vaccine so they are considered unvaccinated! Makes you wonder why so many got sick after they got the vaccine?!

Stop starting. I have been using the app for a couple of years. Yesterday it stop responding and after lot of attempts I had to remove it and reinstall it losing all my historic data. This is the reason for a 3 stars from my point of view. Now I am using it again but knowing about this problem I would like some support to recover my historic data.

Great App.. This is just my opinion, but this is the best medical app you can find. I’ve noticed that a lot of people working in the medical field actually use this app for help on anything they’re looking for that pertains to the medical field.

WebMD. I absolutely love this app. Whenever I need any type of help with basic medical information I go straight to this app. I use symptom checker, pill identifier, medication reminders and look up medical terminology. I also read up on fibromyalgia information. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dr. Coston. I really enjoy up to date and current news medical information. It is the right feel and touch for the situation of all topics. Being alerted with current and available just now news. That’s the way to go. Thank you.

Overall good but disappointed in Disease searches. The app is good for basic information however it misses some key disease searches including things like Addison’s Disease. While many conditions are rare it would still be nice to have some basic information on more auto immune diseases albeit there are over 250+ known to man. Good for signs and symptoms and logging personal known maladies.

Not worth the space on my phone. I like the general idea of this app, but it’s layout and ease of use are terrible! It is very difficult to understand and navigate around the app. I don’t see the same pages advertised for the app - so something has changed on the app or it is so difficult to navigate that I simply can’t find it. The app also shows a balloon with a 1 in it on my phone like there is a message for me - but I can’t find the message or any way of clearing the balloon. So I’ll probably dump this app soon and look elsewhere.

Symptom checker. Since the 7.0 update, I have HATED 🤬 using symptom checker! It was more user friendly when you could select the body and all symptoms. Now I have to type it in every time and it doesn’t usually pull up what I’m looking for (yes, I’m spelling everything correctly). How it was before was perfect 💯; type in the search if you want to, pick from a list, or just tap a body part!!! Seriously, this was a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ app before and could be again if you all fix symptom checker 🤷🏻‍♀️

Excellent!. This app has been a life saver as I check it many times regarding my health. I also love how informative it is, i even get information on the very best Doctors in my community. Many times you get great news on topics that are so helpful to ones’ health.

So helpful!. Full of so much helpful information! I’m sure glad I downloaded this app! It’s more than just a symptom checker, I get alerts about the latest health information and tips that I can apply to improve my life right now! Thank you!

Thankful for the app. I have been using this app to improve my family’s and my own health. I’m so many different ways this app has helped correct teachings that were, I’m sure meant for my best, wrong. And not only physical but mental health has improved. Thank you.

Only Complaint. I have had a lot of very good searches, but have been very put off lately with the very long ads for some videos. This usually means I just get more and more frustrated waiting and eventually just cancel it. And swear off ever using the product. Ex. Trintellex

Excellent app. Useful features for when you need to find what you are up against. In love with the "news&lifestyle" section with the top health stories per topic. Appreciate the daily updates with the latest news around drugs, treatments or interesting tips to improve health.
