Hey google look a serious talk!. Dear google, you are just trying to keep everyone safe which is fine that is not such a crime actually , it help prevent a crime of a innocent persons app and a person presses there phone and tries to sign in and do some weird stuff so keeping people safe is a good job …….but, google why on earth is it so hard to find the prompt button to verify something if your gonna make accounts safe give people instructions of what there doing other ways it’s complicated and hard. Thank you google for listening or reading I appreciate it /you for giving me your time and if you see this please think about these things I really recommend it. P.S great app love the good work keep it up 👍

New UI is Worse after latest update. I have always been a avid google user, and always preferred the google app over safari. however, this latest update has made me have an extreme uptick in my use of Safari. the new way to view webpages is not user friendly, and glitches very often. i often find myself losing the page i was on, or getting kicked out randomly. also, it is near impossible to begin a new tab without over riding an existing one. multiple times i am trying to input information from one site into another, and it end up closing one when i try and switch to the other. it’s infuriating. these bugs need to be fixed quickly, or i may end up making the full time switch to Safari as my go to app.

New update AWFUL. Google image search useless.. New google image search is TERRIBLE! The sole reason I search for images is to see IMAGES, and only images. I do not want to see the text, or a ton of white space. I liked how the old google search app showed images only. I purposely used this app when searching for images as chrome doesn’t display image searches the same. Chrome shows the text. But now, not only is the text required but am unable go full screen with an image (and hide the text when tapping on it or rotating my phone). This is awful for viewing images because phone screens are not that big and now it only shows up on half the screen. Please bring back the old version or at least make it an option that is easy to select on the screen (not hidden in layers of menus within settings). This is extremely frustrating and disappointing

It is a good, but there is some issues. There is many google glitch that I constantly keep on seeing, like google being SUPER slow and keeps on acting like we do not have internet, and it is Xfinity, and I say Xfinity is really good internet in my book. And this REAL annoying glitch it is what I call the no pictures glitch because when you take photos IT ALWAYS SAYS “could not save image” and you know what I have to do to fix that, DELETE GOOGLE, yeah I would say that is a real annoying glitch, but I don’t know what causes this may cause my phone is outdated, because it is a iPhone 6 or but please google fix this glitch please, because I do not want to constantly DELETE GOOGLE, and when I mean constantly I mean every night, if you where me, you would probably feel the same as me, annoyed, the glitch is getting on my nerves and I hope it will be fixed.

It would be my favorite search engine BUT…. I’ll be honest, a world without Google is a world in which I don’t want to exist. I mean, you can find anything, and I mean ANYTHING on Google. It couldn’t get any more awesome than that, right? Well… It could. The fact that the Apple mobile version of Google doesn’t allow one the capability to download PDF’s/EPUB’s in order to view them, makes Google a little bit lame. If I had a dollar for every time I had to switch to Safari (🤢) & look up the same exact thing just so I could view a PDF, I’d probably be able to buy Google right now. (Maybe an exaggeration, but it’s occurred so much so that I felt very compelled to write this review) I personally rate it an overall 4.3 stars, as it has such potential to be the greatest creation since sliced bread. If only I could view my PDF’s…

Not a robot page??? I’ve pressed no but it doesn’t go away. If I use the same browser after 3-6 searches it won’t load and takes me to a page that asks if you are a robot when you press no it doesn’t go back to the browser it just takes me to another are you a robot page and I have to close the app out open a new tab and click the im not a robot button at least 3 times before I can use the browser again. I can understand if it took you to the robot page then once you click your not a robot it should take you back to the original page but it doesn’t do that it makes you do all this work to make the page go away and makes the experience annoying I don’t want to be directed to that page all the time juts to do the same stuff to make it go away just for it to appear again please fix it somehow

You destroyed the app. I have used Google for incognito searches, and because it had the icon at the upper right hand corner to remove cookies I use it to remove cookies from my phone often and daily, it was working fine when I went to bed last night and this morning when I opened it, the app is totally changed / destroyed, I don’t want and I don’t need another news app. This happened to my wife’s phone this morning as well. She removed the app and I am removing the app and if Google doesn’t change Google News with all of the ads that cannot be turned off I’m removing it as well it’s very obvious google could care less about what we need. It’s all about money money money for Google. Google, you changed the Google News so we can no longer prevent News companies and organizations that we don’t want to hear from being loaded in Google News like we used to and now you’ve removed our ability to remove cookies and why would you do that, so you can load the cookies on our phones and we can’t do anything about it😡😡😡

How the mighty have fallen. Along with the previous reviewer, I have used Google almost exclusively for years and found it useful, effective and quick. No more. It now has me living in the UK, and search results come out for various countries. When it does a double authorization to see if I’m signing in right then it has me in a different country or a different state. I’ve i’ve googled, unfortunately, ways to solve this problem and found complicated, non-effective advice to do with the IP address. Song hum feature. Every time I say “what’s this song” into the microphone it takes me to a google search of instructions on how to use the feature instead of actually performing the feature itself. I also can’t find the “song search” button after exploring the whole app, despite the unwarranted google search telling me there is a button. Going to have to rate a 1 star and uninstall the app for faulty software and false advertising. Unfortunate considering this is a cool idea but it seems to have been executed very poorly. I would suggest actually putting a button there instead of lying to your users, and making it so when I say “What’s this song” it performs the actual advertised feature instead of taking me to a google search. Seems like a simple and obvious fix. Hopefully you all can get back to me and let me know if I’m doing something wrong, if the song search button is hidden somewhere strange in the app, or if the programming is just completely inept.

Google Assistant problems. I use Japanese as my second language on everything, and when I opened the app I changed that setting as well, but I noticed I couldn’t change the order of the languages as English stayed at the top no matter what I did. But I payed it no mind as it still worked both ways. I downloaded the app to use the “hum a song” feature anyways, yet when I first opened the app, the button that you are supposed to use for that feature didn’t show up. I closed the app for a few minutes and opened it back up to finally see the button, but google assistant seemed to have lost the ability to understand Japanese and would make my words into unreadable English “sentences”. After trying to fix it for 10 minutes I gave up and decided to make sure the “hum a song” feature was actually working. The circle of colorful dots showed up on the screen and moved when I hummed but nothing happened and after waiting for a few seconds, it would close and show the normal google assistant pop-up at the bottom of the screen. As if I hadn’t pressed the “search a song” button at all. Very disappointed.

Stay Away From Google. They’re growing too big for their own good. They act like they have a right to shove all of their content and whatever else they decide is a good idea into your face. And no, you can’t manage what they notify you about easily. You dared to search for a sports team? Clearly you want to receive game recap scores all the time about them, with no way to turn them off! There used to be a simple way, but they updated that out. It’s no longer there. Clearly, just holding on the notifications you don’t want and turning them off that way was too convenient for users, and led to too much getting turned off that google didn’t want. Now I’m stuck choosing between getting notifications I actually want to hear about while also getting something I literally never asked for, or no notifications at all. Such a great system, fantastic evidence that the company cares about your interests, and not theirs.

Disappointing Image Scanning and Redundant Features. I recently tried out the Google app and found it to be quite underwhelming, particularly in terms of its image scanning functionality. Despite promoting this feature, it failed to deliver accurate results consistently. The app's inability to reliably scan and recognize images led to a frustrating user experience. Moreover, beyond the image scanning feature, the Google app offers little added value compared to simply using Google's website. It essentially replicates the browsing experience, making it redundant to install the app if the image scanning feature doesn't work effectively. Considering the primary selling point of the app falls short, it begs the question of why one should bother with it at all. Until Google improves and refines the image scanning capability, I see little reason to recommend this app over using the reliable and well-established Google search engine directly through a web browser.

More ads please. This app use to be part of my morning routine since it was able to curate stories related to my interest. After spending months fine tuning results, I was happy with what I was getting for a small window of time. In true Google fashion that all changes when they decided to constantly start pushing ads in the feed. I wouldn’t be so bothered by it if it was once in a while, but it has grown to the point that most of the spots used for articles are now ads. Not only are they ads that are based on one-off searches you make but they are disguised as “searches”. Also if an article mentions any product in it, it will be sure to nest that in card with the article. Aside from that, I constantly face technical issues where the feed doesn’t load any content or searches just hang. These issues are temporarily resolved by force closing the app, but some times it caches the cards so you are still left with stall content. At this point, I recommend using your browser to search or finding a different app for news.

iOS Widget Issue. Love the iOS widget for the Lock Screen. However, when I select the widget, the app opens and the microphone screen comes up and google is listening. That’s perfect. When I ask a question, google dictates the words I said perfectly but the response is “something went wrong. Please try again”. The words I said are still listed in the search area so I just have to hit search and it works, but it should just give me the answer without the “something went wrong” response. It seems this only happens when the google app is not already open. If the app is open, the widget and app work perfectly. UPDATE: The update I received today fixed this issue. Yay!! I’m so happy! Now I can ask Google something from my iOS lockscreen instead of using Siri

Google just removed a good feature. Hello Google I just today updated Google App on my iPhone 13 and what I just saw after update when I opened the app the search bar just again got back to the center of the app screen where it was placed like 2 months ago and 2 months ago when I received an update for the Google app I saw a new interface that I really liked at lot than the previous look I liked the new look in which the search bar was at bottom attached with the Home, Tabs and notifications button with some cool options in between both search bar and Home, Tabs & Notifications buttons section like search a song (a.k.a Identify a song), homework help and etc. I request to Google to please bring back that UI in which I got that search bar attached at bottom with those cool options. Please bring it back soon Thank You

Google lens gone??!!. I am only giving one star until google “lens” is back in search bar next to microphone again. What happened to the google lens option that WAS right next to the microphone in the search bar?? I used it for only a couple of things and when I went to use it again within 24 hours it was GONE. I’ve gone through everything within the app and there’s a place to download it and that didn’t even work. In one place it talks about the lens but again, it’s not on there. I’ve uninstalled the app and when I go back to the App Store to reinstall it, it says to update it. But I uninstalled it so why is it only giving option to update it instead of install it. And when I go to App Store and look at all the app offers, it shows that you can use google lens to search stuff you see, BUT IT’S NOT THERE WHEN I’M IN THE APP ITSELF. What’s the deal google? Where is the lens????? Please help me with this??!!!!

Freezes, stalls, stops for 45 seconds HELP!. Freezes, stalls, stops for 45 seconds HELP! I enjoy Google but I might or will dump them for bing.. why? The Google app on my new iPhone and/or old iPhone is super buggy… I have uninstalled and installed and still to no avail… I am totally not happy because I use google to look up the latest stock news outside of Yahoo Finance and CNBC.. Another thing, if I read just one tiny Kardashian story, I would get 10 more KimK stories or similar suggestions.. I dare not read about my fav reality shows and that’s all I see.. not cool or if I read a funny story from India or other countries.. it’s all India, London or Africa topics afterwards.. When I pick subjects I like on purpose in settings, about 50% will only show up along with some random stuff I didn’t sign up for … But the biggest problem is the constant freezing and stalling for 45 seconds straight.. Help, Help, Help, Help!!

Hacked. Google was okay from the start. But it never gave a clear answer and it has lots of horrible websites. I was researching about hamster care, i asked for how long they live and the best cage and all that, google always gave me these random websites that don’t have all the information i need. So i asked what kind of food hamsters should eat and what’s healthy for them, and once again google found all the websites. And i click on one, then i get a warning that my phone has been hacked, and there would be no way to stop it from happening. This wasn’t the first time. My sister got the same warning searching about her fandom, but i didn’t think it would happen again. Google please clear all these fake websites. Getting hacked it very dangerous, and most people have personal their information on their devices, even if they are older than 17.

Going downhill. This is rather sad that I can get onto google and search something but when I want to see photos of said search I can’t. The fact that they removed the ability to look at images on mobile is rather stupid and needs to be changed back to the way it was. The new search URL is also rather inconvenient because I should not have to scroll and click a button in order to search for a item or photo. Those on mobile should be able to just search the item or photo from one engine as it was in the past. This app has gone downhill with many of the updates or “Bug Fixes” which being more inconvenience than help. I believe Google should remain the way it was in the past when one could search for a website, photo, or video and have the help of the little bar at the top they could click. If you read this Google fix your browser please.

Akstyles. The only search engine I trust and has been my go to since the conception of the term. I’m really loving the personalized news feeds. As someone who intentionally avoids today’s unreliable news sources, especially from social media apps, the google news feed has been a welcome addition to my routine. I no longer have to miss out on reading articles I may be interested in because of my choice to not login to FB. Instead I often find articles I’m interested in through my google feed in between searching for things. Google Search is one of my top 5 most used apps. Their reliability and commitment to being the best in my opinion has hands down beat any other apps. I’m sticking with google for the long haul.

Usually interesting reading but. A huge bug is that when I click on that I’m not interested in a topic, I get a pop up message that Google gets it and won’t show me any more articles about that topic. But I keep seeing articles!!!! Sometimes I even see more of them. Two current examples are Princess Charlene of Monaco and Situation Puzzles. I clicked on a few of each which was enough so I clicked on that I wasn’t interested. The articles kept showing up, sometimes multiple articles every time I opened Google. Just now I opened the app and, out of 37 articles, 5 were about Charlene!! I keep saying I’m not interested but I keep seeing these articles. Enough already!!! Another annoying bug is that, when Google is refreshing the articles, if you’re reading one, it freezes and you have to exit Google, reopen it and go to Tabs to find and continue reading the article.

Garbage. Ask google a question and it might just give you A ANSWER, not THE ANSWER, To your question. I looked up a simple question, “How long is the US” to which it tried to tell me from some random websites Information that the continental United States was 2800 Miles from East to West (which is correct), but also tried to tell me it was 2800 miles from North to South as well. After some searching I found out that it’s about 1700 miles, so why is google telling me that a website, with incorrect information is right? Shouldn’t there be a algorithm or maybe a fact checker that would make sure that your actually giving people correct information? It is absolutely unacceptable that Google, a place where people get there information from everyday, is giving people the wrong information. What other questions do I have wrong answers to because of this. It would be great if when I asked google something it didn’t tell me what might be the answer, I would rather make the mistake myself of clicking on a not so trusted website and getting wrong information there rather than google straight up lying to me.

Overall solid app but few annoying things.... Google is my go-to app throughout the day to quickly look up and research stuff. BUT two things are annoying.... for one, Google seems to remove re-add functions like the translate drawer at the bottom which is really helpful but recently disappeared for a long time before it got added back in — WHY?? The more annoying thing is that every time I leave the app to check something else in my phone sands come back, it reloads the feed! And I have background refresh disabled! Often I'm still seeing articles I want to read but have to go to another app in between and when I come back, they're gone and feed is refreshed. STUPID!!!! The app should leave it up to the user and the user only to decide WHEN to refresh... hence: only 3 stars 🙄

Getting worse and worse. Clearly Google has become more interested in monetizing what was once the sine qua non of digital maps than they are in providing a good user experience. They have junked it up with SO MUCH garbage, like (paid?) eateries and shops, that you can hardly see the streets. And no, I do not need a huge marker to tell me I “recently visited” a site that I merely tapped at random to get rid of something else obstructing my view. At the same time, so my street names are missing, unless you finally just happen to enlarge or shrink the map the perfect amount, and even then it will vanish if you move. And I’m talking about major thoroughfares, bridges, and so on. Then there’s all the persistent stuff I don’t want, like the weather, the Live icon, an inset photo, and info at the bottom of the map about whatever you looked up. Switching to another map!!

Google Sign-In Broken In App. I'm used to using texted codes for 2FA. Fortunately, Google still lets me do that. The idea of depending on some password manager that contains a key that I can't access if something goes wrong doesn't appeal to me. This time, though, I decided to try a different option that Google provides, which is to open the Google App and verify my identity. So, I downloaded the app and gave it a go. What happened, though, was that the text in the screen was highly zoomed, and locked in place, making it impossible to scroll, in any direction, to wherever it was on the screen that I was supposed to do the next thing. Until that bug gets fixed, obviously, the Google App two-step login option is dead. As for the app itself, it seems to be a decent search engine with some additional features.

Get Google Chrome Instead. In short, why this company has two browsing applications is beyond me but chrome is far better than regular ole google and way more user friendly to those exposed to safari and looking for a widget to shake up their boring old home screens. In long, I downloaded google for the widget which I really liked the look of on my home screen but the features of this app compared to safari our lacking. I would often find features that were on safari that weren’t on google or didn't work as smoothly, such as the transition from incognito to regular browsing or simply going back and going forward while searching. If I went back too far google would send me to the original search screen with no way of going back to what I was just looking at. These, amongst other things, are minor, but they add up in the long run to make the users experience horrid. However, the google chrome app is a different story, it’s nearly identical to safari and in many ways better than it.

Images No Longer Lets You Save. Have had the app for years and through several different phones and this has never been an issue in the past, but as of the last week or so, Google Images no longer lets you download pictures onto your phone. There had been a popular glitch in the past in which you’d have to hold down the image with one hand, wait for the save image popup, and click on the screen with your other hand and hold it down so you could select the download option without it disappearing, but now even that option has vanished and been replaced by some Google Lens feature to inspect the picture instead along with an “images may be subject to copyright” popup (I thought that might’ve been the issue but no images can be saved, not just copyrighted content). It’s very frustrating since looking for reference photos and such to save to my phone was one of the main functions I used the app for and I hope it gets fixed soon.

It’s not a good look. I have submitted feedback several times in the past few weeks. Absolutely no response, nothing. I sent screenshots of Google Chrome errors. It is been a nightmare on my iPad, as well as on my iPhone in the last few months. Tabs won’t close tabs don’t open, and Safari pops up and locks my browsing i’m going to Google or KrHall like it has for the past 20 years. Incognito messages pop up every two minutes. It’s ridiculous. You have got to do something for these people who have choices in our digital life. But the choices are getting larger and more compatible. If you can’t keep up with your users and technical issues, then don’t advertise that you are the best at everything. And your feedback is just telling us to go through help. I have gone to your help section probably every day for the past year for different stuff. 60% of the time I Find My answer other times I go in circles. I know how to change my settings in every part of my Google account. So please don’t tell me to do that. Thanks

Inconvenient. It used to be good, but now, from what I'm assuming was an update, made it into an overall inconvenience. The websites you want to open do not open into a full screen. At the top of these web pages is a pull down button—like on an iPhone that drops down notifications and reminders—and it completely takes away the main back button that used to be an arrow. Because of this, whenever there are pop-up ads on a webpage, you simply can’t just go back to the webpage itself, but have to completely exit it altogether. Another thing is that Google will constantly refresh itself when you leave. This is fine when you leave the app for a long amount of time but if you have a webpage open and close it for a few seconds or a minute, then it will completely refresh and you will loose whatever it was you were doing. Also, Google listens—and watches—to everything you say and do.

Linda Gordon and friends!. We love this quaint restaurant whether we eat outside or dine indoors. The staff is always friendly and upbeat and happy to see you! The Food is prepared fresh and served beautifully! If we don’t eat there at least two times a summer our summer is not complete! It’s not often a quaint restaurant like this takes reservations! We enjoy how the manager makes this possible! And it is a joy just to watch Kevin , the table busser, fix up the immaculate table decorations and clean linens and keep your class filled with beverage before you even miss a drop! Of course is very popular during the Tulip Festival so I urge you to go another time when it is not quite so busy! That way you can enjoy the lovely gardens that you see as well as the food and surroundings!

It's getting worse tbh. I have used this app for a while instead of safari because I just trust google more. But recently its been hiccuping and I can't stand it. One thing is that it won't let me change my picture. I don't know why and I want it changed because its an old picture of me. I will click on the icon and I will tap the camera on the profile picture and it will say "you can't change this profile picture from this account" but the problem is I have before. Also I've had this song stuck in my head so I tried to use the "find song" feature on the app and when I tap on it the dots will show up for a few seconds, like its trying to find the song, then it will go back to the home page. It is getting really annoying and I'm about ready to quit using the app (even though I liked using it) if these problems continue.

I’m switching to safari because of the June updates. Before this month the app was fairly good for a search app but now it’s useless. At first it was hacking trouble just saving what tabs I wanted open and would delete whatever tab I just opened once I left the tab. This applies to both new tabs where I wanted to compare results and tabs I had open for a few days that I went back to frequently. Then it made the layout of websites go into a weird zoomed out format that made it so you could accidentally swipe out mid read. Lastly the reason I’ve given up is because you can no longer save images. When you hold down an image now it just shows “image source” and “search within image” neither of which I would ever use. On the off chance that you manage to go through image sources and find a saveable image it’s grainy and awful quality.

Issues with tabs. I’ve been using this app for years as my primary search engine. I even recently noticed a feature where you can save recipes to “cookbook”, which is nice. The feature I use the most, however, has been an increasing source of frustration: tabs. I keep tabs open so I can return to them at a later date. The delete tabs setting is on ‘never’ so that my tabs never disappear. Yet today, when I opened the app, all of my tabs were gone. And there’s no easy way to restore them. I’d have to comb through my search history and go off of memory. I’m ready to discard this app in favor of the chrome app, since it turns out restoring tabs is pretty simple for that one. Or maybe I’ll just stick to Safari, which allows for a search of tabs. I don’t see that same option in this Google app. Another reason for me to stop using it.

Google - get rid of the blue pop up tips!!!. Have an issue and cannot find anyone at Google to help. Literally EVERY SINGLE time I am on Google on my iphone, these blue “tip” boxes pop up. They contain directions and/or explanations for VERY self explanatory buttons and things on the Google page. For example -I search something like “candy” and then on the results that come up there is an overview of the subject searched. Then there is a blue box that pops up and points to that overview button and says “tap here for summary and general info”. I’m not understanding why Google has to define/explain this button every time I search something. I know what overview means. Or I look up a restaurant and a box forms over the “order here” button on the result page and says “view menu and order food.” If these instructional pop ups only occurred once when I first used Google I would understand but every time I search something there are blue boxes all over the page speaking to me like I am dumb lol. Soooo unnecessary and so annoying. Trying to find a way to disable this but no one can give me any info. I’ve tweeted at them and they don’t answer, I’ve called apple who says it’s Google’s issue but no one cares. Have stopped using Google because of how annoying it is.

Please help me in adairsville. Former senior woman with good credit no charges , no tickets. I am being stocked and been harassed by the cops of adairsville, GA Up north of 75 exit 306 . I have had load machine on me load cars up and down the road on 41 and a lot of guns being fired at me. This is because they believe I’m a alcoholics and a drug Addict. And I’m not , for 4 years I been subject to them bugging my house, hacking my phone,and a tracker put on my car. Haven’t made any arrest. And they helped incarcerate me at the crises center where I had my blood checked several time for alcohol and drugs. I have a copy of the report. No alcohol or drugs in my system. They bully me and turned the town against me. It has affected my mental health.. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else..

Ruined by one pointless update. Seriously, what is this popup garbage? Now going to a website is like clicking a link in instagram, which pulls up some temporary pop up browser, it no longer feels like using an actual internet browser. You can no longer change the url, clicking on the url just copies it instead of letting you change it. Instead, to go to a new site you either have to completely go back to the home page, or open a whole new tab and clutter the tabs page every time you want to make a new search. Whoever made this change seriously needs to be fired, because they must have some serious mental disability and clearly aren’t capable of having this big of a say in a company. No mentally capable person would genuinely think that removing core features of a web browser is a good idea. Turn google back into a web browser instead of this wannabe instagram browser trash, otherwise you’re going to have barely any users.

Slowly deteriorating. Google was great, but the issue is that minor inconveniences such as taking Google Search off iMessage is really annoying. From there I could do a quick search or a location to send much quicker via text. Not anymore! Another thing, the app gets slower and more cluttered with each update. I do not use Safari as much due to the fact that it feels “heavier” and more cluttered, but now I’m seeing pointless news articles that are absolutely irrelevant to me as an individual. All of the data mining and theft your company does, and you can’t even match my interests? Even if you could match my interests, you wouldn’t be able to do it because you are Google. Furthermore the articles are pointless anyways because of the News app and third party apps that I can download. Slowly but surely, Google is turning into a lesser search engine like Yahoo or Bing.

App could get better unlike on Windows. It’s good to be able to keep emails organized and to see what they can be done with. But here are some things that I would find useful to be done in the app. It’s that there’s constant spam mail entering my spam bin, and although I have tried to mute or even permanently delete them without opening the spam mail. The same thing just keeps coming. I have tried doing changes from the website, but there doesn’t seem to be a solution to solve this issue. Although I can’t do anything, I would suggest Gmail to come up with a solution by coming up with an automated system that will automatically delete all spam messages that are being sent to the user both now and in the future. Generally though, the automated version of organizing emails has been very useful and convenient, and I thank the developers for this activity.

Hasn’t Yet Earned 5 Stars. At one time in the past, when I typed in my search argument, if there was a misspelling, Google would offer up the correct spelling, eliminating the need for me to correct it. In some cases, where participles or familiar words were involved, Google will reconstruct my argument with the correct grammar. I would sure enjoy those days again. Even now, when I’m typing this review, all of my misspellings are corrected. Why can’t Google offer that option when I’m typing in my search parameters? Google once did have that option, then took it away. One other annoying thing about Google: whenever I’m searching for a report or article, Google displays first the results it wants me to see, often biased, forcing me to scroll several pages until I find what I’m looking for. This is a nasty habit and one which stirs up conversations in Congressional circles about “reforming” Google. Google is an important research tool, very important, and Google employees shouldn’t be allowed free license to transform such an important research tool into a one-sided echo chamber for specific ideologically-oriented groups. I’d rather see Google as completely neutral in that regards. Making it neutral, without certain biases being introduced, goes a long way to earning that fifth star. Thank you.

One thing that annoys me …. I receive notifications through many channels some I follow down their rabbit hole others I delete. I followed one this morning about iOS options and how to keep or turn them off. So, the first one about turning off phone call banners made me go look and change the way the call interrupts my work flow (if any). Then once I was done in settings I went back to … oh no, wait. Google decided I should go back to the very beginning of my opening Google! What, where the heck was I? Now you make me go back to … oh where the heck was I (before I submitted this review.) WHY CAN’T you leave me where I was in my review of, whatever link you sent me to?! If there’s one thing I hate is software that makes me have to a better short term memory than it does! Can you people at Google, quit playing games, read this and make your supposed search app more User-suppotive?

At this point I’m done with Photomath and Mathway they both can’t help me with 2 of my math problem and I usher you that I don’t copy down I look at the work for the problem and then I sold it myself but back to the point so basically I’m doing a math problem and I don’t know how to do it so my first tow thoughts Photomath Mathway I go there it says “oops, we can’t solve the problem just yet but will be pack soon but here’s the thing I go to google take a photo of the question and BOOM. The answers right in my face buuuuuut remember how I said I get help not the answer well on the two apps (Photomath,Mathway) it makes my pay for premium for it to show work but on google I can see the work and then solve it myself. thank you google

Oops. Something went wrong. I would rate this app higher but oops something went wrong, I'll try again later. When the app works like it should it becomes my go to for news based on categories I like. However, it takes a long time for a story/topic you're not interested in to be removed. If I'm not interested in sports, it shouldn't take weeks of removing every article related to sports to finally be removed. Most of the times a few articles will display and going to the next page just results in " something went wrong ". I love this app but it's the most frustrating one I have installed. Reinstallation does not fix the issue. Lastly if I do a random search I now have to open chrome private browsing because this app will "think" I'm interested in whatever I searched for, thus starting the loop cycle of trying to remove articles I'm not interested in, all from one random search.

No variety. Too Mainstream.. There’s nothing wrong with it’s UI or anything, it’s actually simple to use. But if you’re trying to do actual research or look for something you better hope it’s mainstream or trendy otherwise you’re gonna be looking a LONG time. It’s like its search results are based off words you put in the search bar, and whatever happens to be popular in society. I tied looking for a scene from something I liked and no matter how much I changed my wording in the search bar all of my results were either the same songs they’d give over and over or tik tok trends, even though my search bar mentions NOTHING about music, songs, or tik tok(?). And the cherry on top? I found what I was looking for on Yahoo in a couple searches. All I got from this whole experience is it needs a sort of “These results aren’t helpful” option rather than “feedback” nobody at google ever is gonna read.

Losing pages.. If I’m on a page and I have to either step away so my phone goes to sleep or switch screens, it resets to the homepage search bar. Not all the time, but enough that it’s incredibly irritating. I’ll have to scroll all the way back down to where I was (I love reading comments on articles, so sometimes it’s a lot of scrolling) to continue reading. This has only become a problem in the last few updates, I believe since the overall look has changed. Sometimes the page I was on will be completely gone from the history as well, saying I have no browsing history when I clearly do, as I was JUST reading something. Then I have to remember what I searched and the title of the article. Apps are supposed to be streamlined, quick & beneficial. I might as well read on a computer. Fix this, please.

I hate google. It’s nothing wrong about Google. It’s not like I don’t like using it. It’s just about my Google account. I was under age for my Google account and obviously they got mad and threaten to delete my account if I didn’t get a parent supervisor account and of course I did it thinking that I would get all my videos and comments and stuff like that back thing is I didn’t get it back but now I cannot post videos nor comment it makes me mad because I have 119 subscribers now I just have to stop and wait for two years until I turn 13?! that’s out rages. My parents do not care if I make Videos or comment on videos could you make this like a Settings so that parents can turn it on or off? This is annoying. I hate you google this was my dream to become a YouTuber. I was hoping I could become a YouTuber but this just hurts now I just have to restart this brew in my dreams I can’t keep getting back up and trying again. I get that it had to push me down, but why the dumbest reason to push me down

Bug: New articles not opening in new tab. When I open the app and see several articles on the Home Screen, if I try to open 2-3 of them, they start to open on top of each other in the same tab. This wasn’t the issue few releases back. With the latest release, I had 11 tabs before the installation of latest version, and not I have 2. Rest of them mysteriously disappeared. Seems like with each new release, a perfectly ok working app is getting worse n worse. I truly believe new version releases are not required all the time just to keep an app going, especially if they are going to introduce bugs and other issues for the users. Let the app be, unless the developer have really something that they want to introduce. Otherwise, they’ll start to lose users just because they released a new version with more bugs than the bug-fixes.

Some Major Problems with the 3-D. There’s a huge problem that I’m having with the 3-D Bengal Cat. The problem is when I attempt to videotape it in 3-D, I will try to move the animal around as I’m taking the video. It shows that it works, as the red line is moving around the circle, however the video does not actually take. I have seen a couple times at the top of my screen “Touch to return to Snapchat” or “Hangouts” but even after I have closed these apps it still fails to work and says the same thing. Afterwards when I try to take a video without moving the animal, it doesn’t take either! I have to close and open the app again, or exit out of 3-D in order to get a working video. But I’m still unable to move the animal around or the whole process will repeat. I’m not sure if it’s the same for other animals or not, but regardless, please fix this!

New update ruined Google. Ive used google as my primary search engine for a while, but Ive always needed a second. A huge problem has always been the ability to download images or lack thereof on the Google App, they fixed the issue around 2019-ish. We were going steady when the download image feature was seamless, you hold down the image and a pop up with the words ‘download image’ appeared. Not anymore. Its been replaced with an annoying Google lens feature and a useless image source pop up with download image no where to be seen. We are all aware of these feature and the image settings or three dots at the right hand corner would be an adequate place for them. Forcing Google lens onto your users as some sort of quota made your app an afterthought and inferior to the Safari app. Not to mention Safari has a better ‘Tabs’ system. I would recommend the Chrome app which is less user friendly but way more competent than this worthless app.

Very poor regarding camera access.. I am using Google Home and the Nest app on iPhone 12 Pro Max. The Nest app is so much better than accessing camera video through Google Home. It takes ages to Load cameras, you can not go forward and back to look at the whole footage in case something was captured and not highlighted. I keep getting messages saying that the cameras are off line. The new Google cameras can only be seen through Google Home and not Nest, which is really annoying. I would much rather be able to access cameras through the Nest app.

Google Review. Hi Google, I am very happy with your app, it is fast, efficient and I can usually get all the information I need. HOWEVER, there is one big problem, I cannot get my recent searches to record under that heading. This is very frustrating as I use the same searches every working day and would appreciate something done about it please. Review. I’ve enjoyed using Google ever since I was at school. I still use google and Google chrome. If suggest that google and it’s partners and the gmail sides of things take a closer look at the gmail email address. My Gmail Account has been hacked ever since then my NDIS has been hacked and multiple issues of other I don’t want to get into. But it did start off with my gmail account. As far as I’m aware. That’s why I gave a 3 star to google… Today my past information being fiddled perhaps tampered with? Unsure? I find this review to be in good spirits and I will still use google, I personally think GOOGLE needs better security. I use an iOS device. I don’t have evidence as they deleted some mail out of my gmail inbox. I don’t know what’s going on. One last thing. When I plug my phone into my PS5 for charging purposes only. Why I should get this app instead. My first reason is that safari is basically google with a better interface and accessibility because all useful buttons are right there at the top while google hides the useful buttons in a pop up menu Safari's interface is much more clean and useful holding a website tracker, reading list and a customise browser button similar to opera while google has about 2 things on the home page mostly useless and takes a long time to load There's no reason to use google over safari but it does work as intended, just not as well as they hoped

Okay, but very slow. ive been using the google app since 2017, great app, ive watched it go through many updates. but the past two years it has gotten frustratingly worse. mainly its speed overall. sometimes articles just wont load at all, often my searches wont go through until i close and reopen the app, annoying. its come to a point where i really only use this app for quick short questions that dont require opening a link, or to find a web page then reopen it in safari, because the browser in the app is just far too slow and buggy. it wont save half the pages i’ve previously gone to in my history. the only reason i stay on this app is for the personalised web articles which i really enjoy and is personalised very well. if they took away the list of articles on the home page i would leave in a heartbeat, its really the only good feature of the app. oh and along with googling pictures without it being a full hassle, very handy! if the speed problems get fixed i would definitely go back to using this full time and abandoning safari, but at this rate it seems ill be stuck with a bit of both because this app just has not gotten any better over the past two years. maybe its just because its on my iphone XR, but due to other apps running smoothly, im leaning towards that is not the answer. Wow, a lovely automated response, with a link not even relevant to what im saying. taking away another star.

Good, but my problem..... Google is a great app and I use it everyday! But for ur collection, I mean I wish there was an option to add more things rather than have a limit to 5 I think. Also my google isn’t showing my recent searches, after I updated it. Even in an account it doesn’t show anything. And when I’m not using and account, it still doesn’t. So I hope ulna fix this. Taking Too Long For Search Bar To Load. It seems the app is actually working now and the issue I had before has gone away. However after opening the app the search bar is taking way too long to load up, it’s been slow for a very long time having a close to a 20 second delay before it loads but now that 20 seconds has become closer to 1 minute or just over and that just isn’t right. You shouldn't have a delay before using any app and I hope that this is actually looked into and fixed because I’ve been dealing with the 20 delay for months now which in itself is already frustrating but having to wait a full minute before I can even use the search bar and google something in the Google app should not be issue for anyone to have, please fix this issue.

Awesome app. I am using Google keyboard while typing this review This app is awesome as you can just slide your finger to each letter of a word and it will type the word. Also the changing of the background is really good as you could have any background that you want. This app makes every on E in my class so jealous. I use it on all my devices.

Recent problems. I have had the app for years, but over the last few weeks it rarely works. When I search it tells me I am offline, constantly. Sometimes it will work again after about 10 minutes, but mostly it just doesn’t work. Have to resort to using google in safari which works every time, proving I am not offline. Have now deleted the app as it’s pointless.

Unable to listen to detected text from the immage with search with google lense. Hi I am blind and previously when you go to search with google lense with a particular immage it use to say text found in immage and it use to have a listen button. When double tapping on that it thd read the text from the immage. It seems like this feature has been removed. Please add this feature back.

Annoying keeps crashing. I keep trying to go into google & within 5 seconds it keeps switching off on me. It only just happened. Can you please fix it. It getting worse as it won’t even come up I. I tried switching phone off & to no avail. Tried deleting & then going to App Store & loading it back in also to no avail.

Lost functionality. The app notifies me when my deliveries are sent which is fantastic. It used to have 3 menus down the bottom for the home page, details about the notifications, and search history. Now the details about the notifications has disappeared but I still get the notifications..? If I click on them it takes me to the homepage of the app and I can’t see any of the info I want. So why is it notifying me?? It’s really weird and very annoying.

Frustrating service. Frustrated that my google app takes forever to load 😡 This seems to have only started happening in the last 2 weeks and getting more frustrating! I know that it has nothing to do with the storage on my phone as I have plenty of space and even deleted other apps to make more room. Have also deleted all cookies, internet history etc and the app is still frustratingly slow to load, often crashing in the process 🤬

Keyboard drops away.. I am sooo happy that I’m able to remove the trending stories now but since that was fixed, when I open the app and try to type something in the search bar, my iPhone keyboard drops away after the first letter and I end up pressing whatever search topic is closest to my finger from my history. Then I have to go back to the Google home screen and start again. It only happens once I open the app after force closing it but please fix it. It’s frustrating. Thanks.

So amazing!. Google is simply amazing! I have been a loyal user of their products for years now and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed by all the different features they offer. From searching the web to getting directions, to storing my files and photos, to staying connected with my friends and colleagues through Gmail, Google has got it all. One of my favorite things about Google is their ability to constantly improve and innovate their products. They never seem to settle for the status quo and are always coming up with new and exciting ways to make our lives easier. Additionally, the user interface is sleek, modern and user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to use. Another thing I appreciate about Google is their commitment to privacy and security. I have full trust in their systems and know that my personal information is in good hands.

Amazing innovation!. Love it. Makes life easier for the fussy typers out there! Super efficient typing! My only complaint would be app compatibility. There is a bug when using the OneNote app. The text font will change automatically if you use backspace to delete a character. This behavior is definately not by design and is very irritating. However, the bug doesn't occur if you use backspace to delete an auto-completed word.

Slower after update. I have both Google (this app) and Chrome app. In the last year, this app has always been faster than Chrome. Today, this app was not usable so I updated it. Huge regret. After the upgrade, this app could no load any search results, while Chrome loaded search results - using the same search words - in 2 seconds. 5 star for the functionality. Minus 2 star for the unstable update.

Stop refreshing my feed arbitrarily. It’s not a bad app. But the most annoying ‘feature’ is that if you focus away from your interests/news feed for a bit and then come back to read that interesting article you saw then magically and before your eyes Google will disappear it from your feed forever. This happens even if you have the actual article page open! A big fail on the basics here.

It old and classic. I feel like google has helped us cheat for a math question or an assignment it's like Siri but doesn't say can I search the web and no Siri I would not want to search the web thank you . Google is easy to use and can give a good definition for a word or a translation from English to Spanish and if your reading this in lockdown R.I.P your sanity :,)

Current layout change. Google is a great app to use, the only recent problem I (personally) have is the current change to how the tabs have been changed to be similar to a temporary tab(?). Like, for example, if I wanted to go back to a different page entirely but it is supposed to be still in the same tab, I am just unable to do so and I need to go all the way back ( if that makes sense). I would prefer the old layout back where I can both easily go back to a previous page (on the same tab) and also type in the search section at the top of the tab (which is another thing that I have a problem with). If there were a way to change tabs layout without having to de-update the app, that would be really good. But besides that, google is a pretty good app to go on.

Sucky. I love that I can use this in safari BUT safari is better and no offence but you should remake your app!!! Like it says I can remove an ad and then a new ad pops up it’s so irritating and like why can’t I just remove ads in this little section because I’m annoyed I just like I don’t want a add in my game and I’m trying to play my game so then it says do you want to remove this and I’m like yes and I click the yes button and thence new add just popped up or it’s like so Lagi that it just stays there I’m like mad at this app mad are you do you feel like one thing no I only just downloaded you just to make us little like slideshow thing I don’t even know what it is you are horrible you Safari will smack you in the face they are way better I hate your app I absolutely hate it

Google, please keep up the work!. Like thousands of others we've spent twelve years building up a business online and along comes Gangster Google trying to squeeze the little man as usual and our business no longer appears in their search engine. Oh, you'll find us if you know our name, but if you search what we sell, only the the big guys show up, even if they don't sell the one-off specialties that we offer. Google changed without telling us and now we're being inundated by touts with no business name trying to cash in on Google's dirty tactics. We can retire out of Googles grasp, but we feel sorry for the younger family businesses being strangled by Google.

Useful but something is wrong. I’ll say this app is very handy to have especially if you’re stuck on something like a game for example I always use this app to find a solution. Now a new update came out and like everything else I updated and now I can’t access the app anymore it opens but crashes as soon as that home page opens up please find a solution I love this app so much I even use it to keep up to date on the news.

Constantly reloading articles and new tabs. If I go to share an article to social media and return, the articles have already refreshed and I can't find the next one I was about to read. If I'm in a website or a search result and I leave google for a nanosecond I come back and it's on the home page again. Finally worked out it is creating dozens of new tabs for no reason and there is no way to stop this behaviour. Notice when reading these reviews that it's taking no notice of people's feedback. Instead just pasting a link to another location to provide feedback. But hey - the link can't be copied. Duh. And guess what - this is where people leave feedback so deal with it.

Love this app however it takes to long to update Like half an hour please fix this for me also when searching for something it takes a few minutes to load I have had this problem for quite some time now and it is really annoying please fix this problem other than this I really love the app sincerely babyzaza

Google lens. Downloaded this app specifically for the google lens search (dunno why they couldn’t put the function on chrome) first few searches worked well, now today I go to use it and the lens search has disappeared without a trace leaving only type or voice search? So I try and google the problem, nothing works to fix it. Even tried telling me to download google images to use google lens? C’mon google I already have the apps for gmail, chrome, drive, duo, maps, earth, home, assistant and now just the google app and am extremely disappointed as a user of google for over 15 years.

Used to work well, not anymore. Updated, reinstalled …nothing fixes the problems. During the recent months (six or so) the app started occasionally freezing while in use or crashing and closing completely on its own straight after a launch. Persistent issue is that it doesn’t remember all the newly opened search tabs as it used to. It only works selectively without any apparent logic. It only remembers some while other recent searches disappear from the Tabs menu. Also, the recent search history doesn’t show/remember all the searched for items, only some selectively again without any apparent logic.

Fantastic, but not quite there. This browser is hands-down the best browser I have ever used. It is easy to use and eye catching, though sometimes it takes a while to load web pages. Also, safari has a great feature that would really improve it. Safari has reader view, which cuts out all clutter and ads on webpages, just leaving the main text. If Google could have some sort of add removal thing for webpages that would make it perfect. Thank you for your time

Current version is not good.. I rate this 4 as until now it’s been great. The current version though puts the search bar up in the middle of the screen while you are trying to read the screen. It just pops up from the bottom and the only way to get rid of it is to swipe it down again but it comes back. Big bug. If not fixed will delete.

Love the app but auto refresh is really annoying. I use this app frequently to look things up as well as catch up on what’s happening because the cards show me information relevant to my interests. The most frustrating thing about this app though is that if I open it after a while of inactivity and start scrolling through the cards and read an article then go back to the cards, the cards will automatically refresh. As a result a card I was interested in looking at disappears and sometimes I can’t remember what the article was. Can you please find a way to include an option to disable auto refresh?

GOOGLE IS MY LIFE. Google is apparently Siri, Wikipedia and Bing all combined! I mean, Siri actually uses Google to tell you the answer of the question you either said or typed. I’v used Google to fix ANY single problem I needed an answer to. I am only an 8 year old and it has been very helpful. Me and my parents really rely on Google. Comment on your invitation. I just need to read the bad reviews to understand your shortfalls . You need to be on top of bad reviews immediately to engender confidence. You should Not think you are so big ,that you write off the unhappy people as the ‘law of average’ percentage that you know will always be lost as customers. Forces you to get the app. It used to be that on iOS, you could use google image search straight from safari. Then they changed it so that if you use the image search, it uses google lens and you have to click on “find image source” to get the normal image search. They also made it so that you have to “request desktop site” to use google image search, otherwise it redirects you to the app store. Bit annoying but ok Then a few weeks ago they changed it again so that you can’t use the normal image search in its own tab. It opens as a popup instead, which is a lot more inconvenient. Even more annoying but ok Now they made the reverse image search, and google lens, not work at all from safari! Not even if I request desktop site! I have to get the app to use google lens or inage search on my phone! That’s too annoying! Why are you making it worse?

Soooo slow. Google is so slow. As soon as I get on google it takes forever to load. Even there was a add on tv saying google is fast in loading but, to be honest it takes sooo long to load. Another thing the new updates don’t work for me. When I need to open a tab for homework google never opens it. More on, where I live the Internet is good. And every time the internet is good google says “no internet connection try again.” Now I have low temper because google doesn’t work when I really need it to work! Pease fix the problem!!!

If it ain’t broke…. Oh Google…what have you done?! You took a reasonably good, functional app and ruined it. I wish I’d never updated. It’s been nothing but bugs and problems since. SIRI won’t work when I’m using the app anymore, my auto complete/predictive text on my iPhone keyboard has vanished so now I have to type everything out in full every time I want to search for something, you moved easily accessible functionality and made it harder to get to those things. The only thing you’ve succeeded in doing is failing…epically. Please get your app in order.

App Crashing Problems. If you are having trouble with the app crashing when you open it, try removing the app and reinstalling it. This fixed the problem for me. If you can’t find the app swipe right to the App Library and hold down on the Google app until a drop down menu appears. Click on Add To Home and then you should be able to remove the app.

Used to love Gmail App for iPhone! Please Fix this app!!!. Google; you’re so talented! And yet you have “dumbed” down this app so much it’s just a useless tool for people like myself/ others whom are very particular with fonts/ style / size & including bullet points etc.... The only app that now allows this on iPhone is Apple Mail app; however this is not the best app, as Gmail app - allows faster direct download. Clean and neat to swap from primary to junk etc. Thus giving it 3 Stars.... BUT It looses all its value with this bullet points and font size! All I can use is the “Apple iOS Bold, Italic and underline” which in its self is a hassle! As I have to highlight everything!!! And the fear of hitting delete/ cut or copy is so frustrating! Please add a “Pro Feature” for people like me, on the go and OR use phone a lot for email and corporate/ professional email reply. Ridiculous battery usage!!. I posted below about this app causing really high usage on the iPhone 6+ a few years back, now since the release of iOS12, my brand new iPhone 8 Plus is suffering again, it is dropping exactly 20% battery usage for every 9 minutes that I am using This google app. I have reset my phone to factory and did a clean update to uOS12 and the only optional app I had installed was Google and the results remained exactly the same, 20% for every 9 minutes of usage. Google really needs to address this issue. iPhone 6+ (78% efficiency) fully charged to 100%. 19 minutes using this app drained phone 37%. Get this sorted google.

App freezing up for a few seconds ALL THE TIME. This app constantly freezes for a few seconds while scrolling through the news feed when I am signed in to my account. It also crashes and exits the app on some occasions. Only thing that temporarily fixes it is if I clear all the browsing history in the app? But then after a few minutes it goes back to freezing again... very annoying! I have an iPhone XS so processor speed should not be an issue. Google keep releasing ‘bug fix’ updates but none of them resolve this issue. I’ve tried it across multiple phones and uninstalled/reinstalled the app and the issue persists.

Google!. One of the thing I love about google is that you can click a picture of something and say it’s something in another language you can translate it, you can take a picture and let google find similar images or take a picture of a product and it will search the product for you. I just think it’s a useful tool. It helped me do my homework too.

Can’t search for songs. I downloaded it only to find songs based on tunes since Shazam can only find songs if they are sung by the original singer. first used in French and it just kept clicking out and realised it couldn’t even search for songs in that language. I then switched to English and when I asked “What’s this Song?” It went to a google page called “what’s this song”, and when I asked “what song is playing” it went to a google search page called “Song”. Like seriously

I spend too much time here… but no Gemini toggle?. While others are glued to their social media I find the feed Google presents so compelling I spend too much time in this app. Reading voices better than default Safari one. Questions though: - Why no Gemini toggle like iOS? I want to use it like Copilot in slide-over mode - Why no reader mode… let me guess - ads? - Why no Dark Mode tied to system?

Google. I’m not sure if it’s just me or everyone else that has a problem with Siri. Years ago google was my go to for all situations and moods and never failed me. Now I have an iPhone and have been looking for the same old google I used to know and if all goes well my life is going to have major improvements. Some problems and bugs 🫥. I love using Google chrome (or just Google) but I’ve had a lot of issues with the app. When I went on the app a lot it doesn’t show the news/ other things on the front page, (which is fine though because I don’t really look at the front page news, weather and such) and says “something went wrong, please try again later”. Another issue is when I use the app and go on Google to watch videos (with a Google search) it just says “something went wrong, tap to retry”. I also have search issues where the search bar takes way too long to load or just doesn’t work at all. Yes, I have updated it and it didn’t work and then deleted it and re-downloaded the app again, and that didn’t work either (well the only thing that did work was the front page but I’m still get the other issues, I don’t get the search bar issue often, but I get it every few hours or something like that). Also just a question but, why Google is 17+? I just don’t get it. I would really appreciate it if I got an answer 😊. Thank you for reading. 🙂

RIP Google. Dear Google; What happened? You used to be the best search engine on the market. Helped revolutionize the way computers are used to this day. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. Now, it’s just a dusty old relic. The search results are usually inaccurate, redundant or just an ad. It’s gotten to the point where I no longer say “google it”. Every time I ask google a question, it gives me the wrong answer. When I reword the question 3-4 different ways, it still gives me the exact same wrong answer. For example, someone in a chat room said elephants urinate from their trunk. I didn’t believe but also didn’t know for sure so, I “googled it” here are the questions I asked; How does an elephant pee? Does an elephant pee from its trunk? Where does an elephant pee from? Last question I will not write. All the questions gave the same answer explaining that an elephants urinary tract is similar to that of a mouse. That’s not what I asked, not even close and something similar happens with every question I ask. So, that’s just your search engine. I’m still upset you ruined Songza, YouTube music is terrible. I’m not going to bring up all the flaws of all your products but, if you don’t fix them soon then google will be as common as the dodo bird. (Extinct) Ps; I downloaded the app just to leave this review. I deleted it immediately after. Sadly, I still use Gmail but that will change soon. REST IN PEACE!!!

Disappointing.. App performance has been slipping for years. Recent updates have left the app completely unstable. There is an extremely long delay in launching the app and then it crashes after a few minutes of use. My suggestion is to focus on improving the app performance before adding new features or new layouts.

I can’t search anything when I use this App in my iPhone, it always tell me unable to get results with no network, but actually I can search what I want by Chrome APP in my phone at the exactly same time. Include image search. My biggest use for this would to quickly search an image to use as a meme or something. There should def be an image search option.

App freezes constantly. Every time I try using this app I have to switch and open the page in safari. It freezes and won’t open links.

Link to maps usually fails. Generally a useful app but Google has lots of bugs to fix! A search often brings up a map, and when I click on the map within the Google app, it gives "no results". Very annoying and obviously wrong, since if you open another map app, including Google maps, there is what you were looking for. Google, fix this! Similar issue with other searches like yelp. If you search for an establishment and the result you click is a yelp website, the Google app doesn't take you to the information you want. Instead you get a series of links and you have to reenter the search on the yelp app. There's obviously a better way, and things could be more seamless. These have been long running problems and I'm surprised Google isn't on top of this. Seems like it should have been relatively easy to fix.

Could be an amazing app but.... I really like this app, but lately I have been pretty frustrated with it. This wasn’t happening at first, but now when I open the recently visited websites tab after I’ve been using the app to try and navigate to another page it won’t go to the page I want. It is happening fairly often too. It’s not that big of a deal, because I can get there by either typing it into the address bar or closing out of and restarting the app (sometimes this doesn’t work though). But it’s a real pain and can prevent me from setting aside a page or make me lose my progress on something like it just recently did. The mishap is actually what prompted me to write this review. If this problem were to go away the app would get a full 5 stars from me.

Very disappointed. Okay Google, you’ve been on thin ice for a while but with this new update is where I draw the line. I loved the Google app and have been using it religiously as my search engine for 5+ years. There have been many changes since I first started using the app, mostly good, but some bad. I use google a lot for reference images for art and now you can no longer save pictures directly from images. It was bad enough you took away the image previews, and then changed the way you save photos, but now you can’t even save them! It sends you to the website, but for many things on mobile it either doesn’t work or forces you to sign into a website to get to the photo. Sometimes it will take you to a website that just doesn’t even work! I will probably stop using the Google app after today and switch to another unless you fix this. It makes the app unusable for me.

Doesn’t work half the time. I’ve had this app for a few years and it’s happened intermittently, but it seems to have gotten worse recently. I’ll search something and then just...... nothing. The screen will be and stay blank indefinitely, not loading a single result. Blue bar will fill up, but nothing shows up. I’ve tried it on multiple different wifi networks, using data in various locations, force quit the app and restarted, to no avail. I’ll then go search the same thing on the Safari app and it’ll immediately load. So I’m inclined to think that it’s a problem with the app’s functionality, not user error. The next day or so it’ll start functioning properly, only to go back to being broken again. It was convenient, but now it’s just infuriating

Unsatisfied. Google quickly became the most used search engine thanks to its simplicity and ease of use. Sadly, this app is missing a few things to earn those describers. 1. They took away the connectivity to Apple Maps. Why? This was one of the main features I used the app for. I would look up Applebee’s, click for directions, and google would reroute me right to Apple Maps with the right directions. Now Apple Maps is no longer an option and it’s obvious you took away this feature without stating that’s what you were going to do in the update which in my mind is a really shady business practice and let’s me know you knew doing this would make some people mad. 2. Symbols on the images. Now users can’t screenshot or view images without seeing the buttons/symbols. Again, another feature I used a lot that was taken away. 3. When you click on a suggested image when viewing an image, they is no way to go back to that original image without going back all the image results. Why is there no back button? Please add back these features to earn a good review! Thanks to these exact features, I think I’m going to have to start using Safari app just for the Apple connectivity and to view images without the three or four buttons on top each of them.

Losing pages.. If I’m on a page and I have to either step away so my phone goes to sleep or switch screens, it resets to the homepage search bar. Not all the time, but enough that it’s incredibly irritating. I’ll have to scroll all the way back down to where I was (I love reading comments on articles, so sometimes it’s a lot of scrolling) to continue reading. This has only become a problem in the last few updates, I believe since the overall look has changed. Sometimes the page I was on will be completely gone from the history as well, saying I have no browsing history when I clearly do, as I was JUST reading something. Then I have to remember what I searched and the title of the article. Apps are supposed to be streamlined, quick & beneficial. I might as well read on a computer. Fix this, please.

News feed is so bad it's surreal. For the longest time, I really enjoyed this app as a combination Google search bar and customized news feed. And for a while it was great! It reminded me of Google's discontinued iGoogle homepage. But something significant changed not long ago and the news feed is basically just random trash that I've never told Google I'm interested in. In fact, no matter how many times I tell the app I'm not interested in a topic or person or source or whatever, it just continues to show me more. It's laughable what it decides I'm going to want to see. Disappointing, because it used to be a regular piece of my news perusal. Now it's worthless and no amount of interaction seems to help the "algorithm" figure out what I wanna see. Come on, Google. You own so much data on me already that you should be able to figure me out. Especially with my help.

Fix History and Images. The way you delete and look at your search history along with Google images has recently been updated, and it needs to go back. First off, the best feature of your Search History, the ability to delete all of it at once, has been removed and replaced with a day by day basis which is much more difficult to manage. Also, the way you view images when you search has been changed and looks atrocious. It’s clunky, and you can no longer look at images in full screen. It appears to be a terrible attempt at trying to make it look like the desktop image search. Please, please, bring back the old History and Images search, as they are superior and easier to use than what has been added.

A Must-Have Search App: 5 Stars for Functionality and Fluidity. I absolutely love this app! The functionalities are top-notch and it runs so smoothly. I can easily navigate through different sections and find what I need without any trouble. The design is sleek and user-friendly. My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the app a default search browser option on iPhone. Currently, I can only set Chrome as my default browser, but I prefer using this app for my searches. Overall, a fantastic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient search app.

Just keeps getting worse and worse.. App can’t load search results about 40% of the time. Everything else works fine, I have no problem doing anything else on my phone just this app won’t load search results it says try again. If I click one of the news articles under the search bar it’s absolutely fine, just can’t load search results. And this is when I’m home with full wifi in nyc with full service. Again, literally everything else on my phone is fine. I use google a lot, but if I search five things I’ll have to go to internet explorer for at least 2-3 of them because the google app just won’t load search results. I’ve tried taking off the app and reloading it, I’ve had this problem on two different phones now. It’s just not a good app anymore if it doesn’t give search results about half the time.

Services NOT received (NYT subscription) and no way to dispute. I’ve been trying to contact google in every way shape or form in order to get them to refund me my money, but there is no Avenue. Zero. They don’t give any way for you to directly email someone so that you can resolve your issue and don’t give any phone to call. A New York Times news subscription is pretty basic and it seems like I should’ve been able to troubleshoot why I wasn’t receiving service. I spoke to the New York Times x2 and both times they said it was a third-party (Google Pay issue). The fact that I can’t contact them directly it’s really bad. The account information that I received in my email doesn’t work when I enter it into their form. Don’t trust this app! There’s no way you can get your money back because there’s no way to contact anyone if you have an issue.

Slow and laggy typing. I have been using this app for the last 2 years almost everyday. But since the last few updates in September/October 2019 the app has been laggy and slow. I’m typing faster than the app can recognize. It takes it a few seconds before the text shows what I have actually typed into the search bar. I know it’s not just my phone being slow because I am able to write this review without the problem and text at my normal speed in iMessages and other apps with no issues. Additionally, the search results seem to take longer to appear. The app hangs and freezes from time to time. Websites are opening slowly, and stay blank for a while before opening or not at all. When I’m scrolling down a page it does not scroll smoothly, rather there are pauses and it lags behind. I thought the most recent update would fix the problem but it hasn’t. The actual search content wise is good but there are too many “related searches” and “related search results” displayed and not enough actual results displayed on the small screen. It usually shows about 10-12 results, and then a list of 8 related searches and results for potential searches. That ratio is too close and there should be more actual search results. Please fix this.

Craig at Sentinel Pest. Craig is great and always checks in the day before he is coming with a call, he also checks with us when he arrives. He is very responsive to our questions and concerns about the wild life we have around our home that we don’t want to be affected negatively by the pest chemicals. We need to keep them out of the house and he is good about making sure that happens. I would highly recommend Sentinel for your pest control needs. They allow us to skip months if we don’t feel we need them and are not as expensive as some companies. Craig has been our Representative for over 3 years.

Akstyles. The only search engine I trust and has been my go to since the conception of the term. I’m really loving the personalized news feeds. As someone who intentionally avoids today’s unreliable news sources, especially from social media apps, the google news feed has been a welcome addition to my routine. I no longer have to miss out on reading articles I may be interested in because of my choice to not login to FB. Instead I often find articles I’m interested in through my google feed in between searching for things. Google Search is one of my top 5 most used apps. Their reliability and commitment to being the best in my opinion has hands down beat any other apps. I’m sticking with google for the long haul.

Hacked. Google was okay from the start. But it never gave a clear answer and it has lots of horrible websites. I was researching about hamster care, i asked for how long they live and the best cage and all that, google always gave me these random websites that don’t have all the information i need. So i asked what kind of food hamsters should eat and what’s healthy for them, and once again google found all the websites. And i click on one, then i get a warning that my phone has been hacked, and there would be no way to stop it from happening. This wasn’t the first time. My sister got the same warning searching about her fandom, but i didn’t think it would happen again. Google please clear all these fake websites. Getting hacked it very dangerous, and most people have personal their information on their devices, even if they are older than 17.

Fix the collections, please put them back on how they were!!. Can you guys separate the tabs and the collections and leave it how it was before, it’s annoying to go to your tabs and then swipe to the collections but the most Annoying part is that if you want to check your collections you have to click on “view all collections” because if you don’t you’ll only see the recent ones that are saved and will not show you the rest. Also when you click on one of the saved pages on your collections you have to go back click on “view collections” and back to the same file you click on just to find what your looking for and is you miss click you have to redo everything again and again. It’s annoying please fix that, it’s getting to the point where I don’t want to rely on google anymore.

I’m disappointed. I know people may not have a problem with this but my google is being annoying right now. So usually when I would search up images, it would show some other images once I click on it. Then I have the option to save and that. Now every single time I click on a picture, it sends me to the website on where it’s from. I don’t want the website, I just wanna see the picture and save it on my camera roll. Now it’s annoying how long it takes me save an image. I’m always seeing the website with its picture. I sometimes like the other photos under that image I search up. I sometimes wanna save them. Now? it takes me at least two-four minutes just to save a picture. I just want my old google back :(

I’m switching to safari because of the June updates. Before this month the app was fairly good for a search app but now it’s useless. At first it was hacking trouble just saving what tabs I wanted open and would delete whatever tab I just opened once I left the tab. This applies to both new tabs where I wanted to compare results and tabs I had open for a few days that I went back to frequently. Then it made the layout of websites go into a weird zoomed out format that made it so you could accidentally swipe out mid read. Lastly the reason I’ve given up is because you can no longer save images. When you hold down an image now it just shows “image source” and “search within image” neither of which I would ever use. On the off chance that you manage to go through image sources and find a saveable image it’s grainy and awful quality.

Almost got a virus! (Think I actually have). So I thought that this Kahoot bot website was really funny so I clicked the link… yeah, bad mistake. It started to give me pop up ads that were really unnecessary and some of them were not even related with the topic. It told me I needed a vpn for the website. And oh no.. then a littoral, PHYSICAL pop up came up on my iPad saying, “(19) Viruses have been activated on your apple device! Please install this vpn or your photos and other social media things will be stolen and sold!” I got very scared and my instinct hit the install button. And my mind was like, AHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOO!!! JAGSHDBEGUS 💀 just so y’all know this happened like 15-20 mins ago. Yeah but regardless of all that the app is astonishing! Just so you know please remove the website. It is the first search when you put in “Kahoot bot”

Swipe keyboard. The reason I have this app is for the swipe keyboard. This may be the single greatest feature of this app, as my major complaint about iPhones has always been the lack of one. However, since the latest update (11.2.1), there has been quite a lag between me finishing a word and it being entered onto the screen. If I type too fast, words sometimes won't get displayed as they get"typed over." This is extremely frustrating and completely ruins the point of swipe (fast texting), and therefore, the app (in my particular case). It may be an Apple issue, since it has only been happening since the most recent update, but there may be something you guys can do about it. This is a 5 star app, but since the update has been a 2 star app. Please fix this issue. (I have an iPhone SE if that matters at all) Thanks

Has been my favorite app but has been crashing for weeks now. This app has been my favorite iPhone app but a recent update led to constant consistent crashing issues. Any time I try to use it it crashes. This began to occur after an update. I have looked ever day for an update assuming the developers would want to repair a problem that leads to complete inability to use app, but nothing. I have begun to look into other search apps as the lack of any response is concerning. I have not yet found one I like as much, but honestly ANYTHING that works is wayyy better than typing in a search getting result only to have the app ALWAYS crash. When trying to get the result. Gave three stars because of the very slow response, but would have given 4/5 stars before this problem which renders the app useless.

Dentists of Tucson. Let me start by saying Dr Stears and his assistant did a wonderful job on my new crown. I also got a chance to see and hug Lynette, favorite hygienist, she is awesome. Very professional staff, always smiling and welcoming. Items are explained and you are aware of your portion of the payment necessary to do procedure. Business manager handled an irate patient professionally and I commend her for being calm but stern. Please remember to be kind, the people are simple doing their job, which they do an exceptional job. I work in the medical field and understand the difficulty of insurance companies and explaining the remaining balances and it is difficult. I love this staff and will continue to come here and recommend this office to everyone!

Shake to send feedback!. There is NO way to turn this off within the Google app. I’m not talking about in Google maps. People have been complaining about this for months and the only developer response I’ve EVER seen is to go to another website to send more feedback. I know I’m not going to get any answers here, but I know people are searching for this exact question in the reviews to see if anyone has a remedy. So far the answer is no. No one seems to know how to disable this “shake to send feedback” feature that pops up an absurd amount of times in a day. Why is Google collecting my unsolicited feedback without my approval 200x a day. Since they changed their privacy policies suddenly there’s a “glitch” that totally invades my privacy without my consent. Because a permanent “shake to send feedback” feature WAS NOT in the Google terms of agreement that I agreed to.

Some Major Problems with the 3-D. There’s a huge problem that I’m having with the 3-D Bengal Cat. The problem is when I attempt to videotape it in 3-D, I will try to move the animal around as I’m taking the video. It shows that it works, as the red line is moving around the circle, however the video does not actually take. I have seen a couple times at the top of my screen “Touch to return to Snapchat” or “Hangouts” but even after I have closed these apps it still fails to work and says the same thing. Afterwards when I try to take a video without moving the animal, it doesn’t take either! I have to close and open the app again, or exit out of 3-D in order to get a working video. But I’m still unable to move the animal around or the whole process will repeat. I’m not sure if it’s the same for other animals or not, but regardless, please fix this!

I’m over it!. For a long time I’ve exclusively used Google maps for searches and getting places. Unfortunately, the app seems to do what it wants instead of what you ask. Search by area means the whole state instead the exclusive location of your choosing. This has lost me appointments, jobs and an infinite amount of time, money and frustration! Even after choosing the location there is no guarantee, if there are others, that you will be directed to the destination chosen. Never mind picking the worst routes to get places when you know better. I’ve deleted the app and in the process of deleting everything google because of this. Including email. I am over it!! Avoid this hijacking app and all affiliated at all costs! Apple’s maps app is much simpler but I’m actually glad I never threw away my atlases! Going back to using my brain. Thanks google

Bad.. The update made to this killed it. I can’t understand why this change was made. After clicking onto a website if I want to go to another I have to fully leave the site because clicking the top just copies the link. Why was this made a thing? Did whoever suggest it have a hard time copying the link somehow so they made such a stupid change? Another problem is that whenever I close my phone because I can’t keep the screen open forever especially because I have work to do it closes the entire site I was on. Meaning if I was on a site that had pages then to it or anything like that I would have to constantly start from the very beginning whenever I reopen my phone because the site was closed. Everything was way better before and I can’t understand who was stupid enough to suggest this changes or who was even dumber to even approve of these.

Good as Expected but.... This app basically does exactly what you’d think a Google app would do. For that reason, it’s a fine app. I deleted this app though because I didn’t see the advantage of keeping it when I could just use a mobile browser to search on Google. I wouldn’t even think twice about downloading this app again if it incorporated just 1 specific thing... the first is that I wish this app had a reverse image search feature similar to Pinterest’s. Google already has a reverse image search option for non-mobile users (PC, Mac, etc.) in the browser, but the Google app doesn’t have this function for mobile use. So I would think that a reverse image search right on your mobile device would be brilliant. I would probably delete my Pinterest app if the Google app had this function.

Could use a better hi. I’m a fan of google and all it offers but i much prefer google news ui and gategories setup to this search app I believe that this app could use a better gategory selection as well as the non existent sub category like on the actual website google news app is awesome but buggy and has everything i want this app is just the google news with out the ability to easily select options no bells or whistles hardly and it is frustrating to Navigate especially when you reach the end after clicking more it is lacking but not buggy like google news

Google lens gone??!!. I am only giving one star until google “lens” is back in search bar next to microphone again. What happened to the google lens option that WAS right next to the microphone in the search bar?? I used it for only a couple of things and when I went to use it again within 24 hours it was GONE. I’ve gone through everything within the app and there’s a place to download it and that didn’t even work. In one place it talks about the lens but again, it’s not on there. I’ve uninstalled the app and when I go back to the App Store to reinstall it, it says to update it. But I uninstalled it so why is it only giving option to update it instead of install it. And when I go to App Store and look at all the app offers, it shows that you can use google lens to search stuff you see, BUT IT’S NOT THERE WHEN I’M IN THE APP ITSELF. What’s the deal google? Where is the lens????? Please help me with this??!!!!

Only works half the time. I used to really enjoy this app, I’ve been using it for a few years now. Now it seems like ads are the priority, not content. Annoying ads are the first to load, content comes second. What prompted me to write this review was when I was trying to finish an article, the content repeatedly disappeared on the page, the ads stayed in place of course, causing me to constantly refresh. The load/refresh rate is always slow, even on a fast connection. Not to mention I get pop-ups that take over my screen on a regular basis. Is this how Google treats its users? Not to mention the biased search results and cards. I consider myself a moderate, but the mentioned items are always politically skewed. How about some variety Google? Stop treating your users as statistics and data mines. Fix these issues.

Why. Just why?. Let me say that google will always be my go to web browser. My problem is that you guys went back to a feature that makes this app unusable. You once again have made the decision to not allow me to edit a url. And went back to where you have to swipe down to get rid of a website. But it only makes searching more frustrating than it should be. I keep accidentally getting rid of a article or page because when swiping up to go to the top of the page, it gets rid of it. And you also can’t go back to that because you decided to go back to where you have to tap on the backwards button to go back to a previous page, instead of just holding the button and being allowed simply select the page you want to be on. Plz fix these problems

Google window on the bottom of screen. I like using this app, however, I really dislike the google window at the bottom of the page. It’s in the way when I need to make a selection at the bottom of the screen. I know how to make it smaller so I can make a selection. It’s just to much work just to see the bottom of the screen. Most times I just give up and click open page in Safari so I don’t have deal with it. Its also slightly annoying because it never goes away and I don’t see an option to close it. The only time it goes away is when I scroll up which does me no good if I want to look at the very bottom of the page. It would be much better if it was hidden at the top of the screen and I can just swipe down if I want to see it. At least give an option to close the box.

You totally destroyed this app overnight. When my wife and I woke up this morning and overnight Google totally destroyed this app for what we use it for. I don’t need and I don’t want another news program on my phone and that’s what they’ve turned it into. Gone is incognito Google search and Gone is the settings app icon in the upper right hand corner that allowed us to remove cookies, all cookies, from our cell phone. Why has google made this change?? They now can load cookies, cookies, and more cookies on your phone to make more money, money, money– – – it’s all about the money, money and money and has nothing to do with protecting you and me. WE HAVE REMOVED GOOGLE😡😡. If GOOGLE NEWS DOESN’t RESTORE OUR ABILITY TO PREVENT NEWS CORPS I DON’T WANT ON MY POHNE, I’m going to remove Google News as well, because it is loaded, loaded, loaded with unwanted advertisements and obnoxious demands for Subscriptions that I have to shut the news app down and reboot to avoid.

Cannot change payment method for YT premium. I subscribed to YT premium some time ago which has been fine, and just discovered that PayPal now charges for processing the monthly YT automatic deduction. I’ve emailed Google asking about it but no reply. I’ve been trying to change my payment method away from PP and just discovered that Google no longer allows changes via IOS devices - one must use a PC. Absolutely ridiculous approach to business! Who cares what vehicle is used?? So now I have to pay a PP fee on top of my monthly bill. I don’t have access to a PC unless I want to risk using one at a library. A former PP executive is now with Google to leverage payment systems so the fee still ends up at Google. So that premium account you have and pay w/PP? Add a couple bucks on top of it each month so the two entities can increase their revenue.

New update AWFUL. Google image search useless.. New google image search is TERRIBLE! The sole reason I search for images is to see IMAGES, and only images. I do not want to see the text, or a ton of white space. I liked how the old google search app showed images only. I purposely used this app when searching for images as chrome doesn’t display image searches the same. Chrome shows the text. But now, not only is the text required but am unable go full screen with an image (and hide the text when tapping on it or rotating my phone). This is awful for viewing images because phone screens are not that big and now it only shows up on half the screen. Please bring back the old version or at least make it an option that is easy to select on the screen (not hidden in layers of menus within settings). This is extremely frustrating and disappointing

Good App, only one problem. I’ve been getting this pop up lately on Google and Google Chrome that basically says “Congratulations, you have been selected...” and all that. It’s a scam. It’s really consistent and it won’t go away even after clearing my cookies on my phone. It doesn’t happen on Safari and only on Google products on my phone. I tried deleting the app and I even reset my phone and nothing has worked. One way you can improve is to add a feature to Google that stops frequent pop ups like that because this is getting out of hand. That’s the only problem I have with it, everything else is fine. And trust me, it’s not just me who is dealing with all of this. I hope this will be solved soon.

Special Friend. 93 y/o Mom needed 24/7 care after breaking a hip, and Home Instead stepped up to the challenge. They sent reliable, nice, trustworthy people that knew how to care for someone in her position. They worked with us to whittle down the staff as she needed less help. We ended up with the nicest most caring person, Fannie. She has become part of the family and been so good to our mom. She is always in a cheerful mood and loves taking out mom out on adventures (doctors and then a fun lunch 🤣) This makes all the difference in the world to how our mom feels. Hugely Politically biased. I’ve looked up “donate to Trumps campaign” only to find a bunch of “mud” on Trump. This is hugely unfair and undemocratic and just morally wrong. This is supposed to be the Information Age. Information and knowledge are supposed to be unbiased and without malignant ulterior motivation. So why is it so hard to find where to donate to Trumps campaign? The query was simple, straightforward, and obvious in what I wanted to find but the results I’m obviously looking for? Obscure. Search “donate to Bidens campaign” first result is a website where one can do so. Anyone that thinks big tech isn’t interfering with elections is an idiot. Anyone else that thinks they are and are fine with it is evil AND an idiot. The elite at the top keep growing in power and lording it over the rest of us. Sooner or later they’re going to start doing more and more things more and more people aren’t going to like. We must stop them now.

No variety. Too Mainstream.. There’s nothing wrong with it’s UI or anything, it’s actually simple to use. But if you’re trying to do actual research or look for something you better hope it’s mainstream or trendy otherwise you’re gonna be looking a LONG time. It’s like its search results are based off words you put in the search bar, and whatever happens to be popular in society. I tied looking for a scene from something I liked and no matter how much I changed my wording in the search bar all of my results were either the same songs they’d give over and over or tik tok trends, even though my search bar mentions NOTHING about music, songs, or tik tok(?). And the cherry on top? I found what I was looking for on Yahoo in a couple searches. All I got from this whole experience is it needs a sort of “These results aren’t helpful” option rather than “feedback” nobody at google ever is gonna read.

The Interface is Getting Cluttered. It was nice having the streamlined layout of the app several versions before, and with every update version, the interface loads up with more buttons of questionable interest, and an excess of information that would be best left hidden or condensed. The tab feature is also getting cluttered with excessive numbers of saved pages after simple searches. I do not need a new window every time I want to view a new image, I just want to browse in peace. This is a petty and personal issue that doesn’t impede the app’s usefulness, so I will leave this with a decent rating, but I would greatly appreciate it if options for less screen filler were available in future updates. Thanks to whoever may see this.

Pizza. What a joke. I watched the Wawa pizza commercial on TV, so I decided to give it a try. First I asked about pizza while I was getting coffee and a breakfast sandwich at the Hamilton Ave location, figuring that I would get one later in the day. The person who waited on me was a little unsure about prices and toppings, she did tell me they can not take pizza orders before 4pm because their system would not allow it. So dinner time rolls around and I now go to the rte 100 Upper Macungie location. These people told me I could only get a personal pizza because they did not have the equipment to make a full size pie and many locations don’t. I ordered 2 personal size pies and they were white on the bottom and not very good. I’m sticking with my usual pizzeria. Great Wawa commercial, terrible product. Stick with coffee, sandwiches and gas, leave the pizza to the pros. Very disappointing and zero star rating.

Getting worse and worse. Clearly Google has become more interested in monetizing what was once the sine qua non of digital maps than they are in providing a good user experience. They have junked it up with SO MUCH garbage, like (paid?) eateries and shops, that you can hardly see the streets. And no, I do not need a huge marker to tell me I “recently visited” a site that I merely tapped at random to get rid of something else obstructing my view. At the same time, so my street names are missing, unless you finally just happen to enlarge or shrink the map the perfect amount, and even then it will vanish if you move. And I’m talking about major thoroughfares, bridges, and so on. Then there’s all the persistent stuff I don’t want, like the weather, the Live icon, an inset photo, and info at the bottom of the map about whatever you looked up. Switching to another map!!

Once critical app now unstable under iOS12. I have used this app since its early days, a majority of my experience was excellent: on an iPad Pro, it was a godsend in split-screen mode when I needed to pull content from several sources into my primary apps by dragging or pasting. Once iOS updated to its current release, this is the least stable and highest-lag of Google’s iOS offerings (several of which also suffer under iOS12). I didn’t understand when the ‘tools’ option was suddenly deactivated on image searches, but tolerated it because the app overall was still strong. Now, I use this app only when I can afford to have it freeze or crash. Scrolling through saved item collections is impossibly laggy, with several seconds elapsing between a touch or drag and the app responding — when it does scroll, it stutters and freezes. I have a top-tier current-gen iPad Pro with 70% of internal storage available, and would hope Google values stability and performance over feature-adds that aren’t ready for public release. Please fix this, Google: an app that is fragile and unreliable is an app uninstalled. I’ve invested in the enterprise products you offer and rely on them daily (if not hourly) to do my job.

Overall solid app but few annoying things.... Google is my go-to app throughout the day to quickly look up and research stuff. BUT two things are annoying.... for one, Google seems to remove re-add functions like the translate drawer at the bottom which is really helpful but recently disappeared for a long time before it got added back in — WHY?? The more annoying thing is that every time I leave the app to check something else in my phone sands come back, it reloads the feed! And I have background refresh disabled! Often I'm still seeing articles I want to read but have to go to another app in between and when I come back, they're gone and feed is refreshed. STUPID!!!! The app should leave it up to the user and the user only to decide WHEN to refresh... hence: only 3 stars 🙄

Ok, Here’s my answer..-. The “Hum for song” thing is Not worthless, it help a lot with others, or does not..- But sometimes it doesn’t work, and I think google is a special app for all of us! We have to treat it right, and (you don’t have to agree!-) I think google can show us how many things happened or we ask questions!! Maps is with google, games are with google, FaceTime is with google, ads are with google, Half of everything is google!! I thank google for their help and (you don’t have too but in mind-) I think you should say thank you! (That’s my answer!) (Привет)

Fatal Flaw. The app is fine—it’s Google and Google has a lot of helpful products. It’s intuitive, yada yada yada. The problem is that when you open the app and want to start typing, there is at least a one second delay before it lets you click into the search bar... other browser apps allow you to start typing immediately and presumably just load other stuff while you are typing your search. Not sure why Google can’t figure this one out... The other issue is that Google’s search algorithms produce liberal-biased results. If you don’t believe me just do some search comparisons using Google and Yahoo. I knew Google was a liberal company but it’s unacceptable that it permeates into OUR web searches.

Open Tabs (IPhone XR). Saw someone else post something similar, but I can’t open or delete any of my past google tabs. If I create a new tab, then I can go to all tabs and delete/select it, but any tab that I don’t immediately delete is no longer accessible to me. I can still access favorited tabs, but the same problem happens. Essentially it’s this - I open one tab, it’s fine - I open another tab which is fine, now the first one is inaccessible - I open another tab, which works fine, but the previous two are now inaccessible -etc, on and on. This problem also happens when I leave the google app for a while, or swipe up. Because whenever I do that, returning to google then brings me back to the home screen of google, meaning that the previously fine tab is now inaccessible cause I (technically?) opened a new tab, even if this new tab doesn’t show up, but still causes the same problem.
