Honestly, Amazing. This game deserves 5 stars. I love the game and the concept. It is awesome making my own music and chillaxing. The thing is, if I can't open the app more than a minute, it is hard to make it fun/useful. This may be biased beacuse I am on an iPod 5th generation, but I am running iOS 9.3 I believe. Thanks for the good game and fun. Sorry I can't rate it higher. To end, I do recommend the game. :)

Beautful App!. This app is amazing if you have an artistic mind that needs to be free! There's multiple ways to make the perfect song for background music, pantomimes, dance parties, or to just mess around and see what you are capable of. Beautifully crafted. This is a real price of artwork and creativity, I don't usually write reviews unless I really truly enjoy it but this app is amazing. It calms you down and let's you have fun. One of the best apps out there.

This app is good but.... This game is good but it needs some improvements like if there's another way to make music. Instead of a mashup, why not add a song level where you make music only one lily pad at a time that would be really helpful please add this it would really mean it I would also rate it 5 stars 🔅🔅🔅🔅🔅

How to save it. Really an amazing app for making great and beautiful tunes. This mesmerized me and I spent about two hours making one song! But how do you save it? I can't get it on my camera roll or anything! Is there a way to save your tune?

Export to WAV audio now supported. In the current version, you can now export your audio files in WAV format to any app. Lily is easy to use and nice to look at. A child would have plenty of fun with it, but it’s good for adults too. The synth wave add-on sounds great and is well worth the price.

Absolutely phenomenal. There's nothing more astounding than the feeling of being able to create something beautiful. Lily just makes it that much easier to create something beautiful. And for that, it is simply perfect.

No tutorial..I should delete, but just can't bring myself to do it.. I really want to use this app to relax & destress; the petals are intriguing but can't figure out the horizontal bars. I should delete it; but just can't bring myself to do it yet. I WANT to love this app but how can I when I haven't the slight idea how to use out

Fun but needs a tutorial!. I almost deleted the app because I couldn't figure it out. Icons aren't always enough to help people along. Some people like figuring an app out and others don't. You really have to accommodate both sides. I mean, you wouldn't buy a guitar amp if the knobs weren't labeled; you'd have no idea where to find gain or reverb or anything else. For example, I didn't know that you could overlap different loops to create a more complex song. I had no idea what moving the bar would do (higher or lower note) and no idea that the three lines change the pitch. And it took me a while to figure out how to change the length of the note. The only reason I kept the app was because it's currently free, and I could figure it out eventually.

App won’t let me in 🥺. I’m v interested and paid for it even but as soon as I tap to open it does the open animation but all I get is a black screen for 0.03 seconds and then back to my home page sad cuz I was excited to make music

It's very hard to use.. As a musician I came in knowing that this app would do no good as it was probably just a toy. I don't think I could've been any more right. This app is so confusing to use as you keep multiple layout beats over each other or multiple other things it's very laggy and the sound is terrible

Simply Amazing~. I love this app, the melodies you make can be so soothing and calming. And there’s no better way than enjoying the melodies knowing that you yourself made them. I just wish I can purchase the winter pack, every time I do it says to try again later. I hope this will be fixed soon, I really wanna use the music box💕

Bug?. The app is amazing and I've gotten to use it for a little while now, but whenever I put 2 or more of the same lily, one of them ends up closing. When I reopen it, it plays for about a second and then closes again. The same thing happens when I have more than 4 lily playing at once. I'm not sure if it's a bug or just restrictions.

Great app. I've had this app for only a few days and I'm in love. Lots of fun ways to make different bits of music and just very enjoyable.

Simple and fun but some bugs. This is a really good app, it's pretty simple but that makes it easy to use. Although there are some bugs at the moment that I'm sure will just end up getting fixed so I gave this a 5 stars anyway. It would be nice if you could add in some kind of note thing with letters? That might contradict the idea of this being a simple app though, however that would be nice if you had a feature for that in the settings?

An awesome app. Worth the price.. I actually got this app for free, thanks to Free App of the Week. I would recommend to anyone who loves music. Just a few suggestions: • add a few more colors like yellow • Add a live feature where others can see you making music live •add an Easter egg or two. Maybe a reference to another game or something. That would be really cool.

As a music lover.... This app is FAN-TAS-TIC! It was pretty simple figuring out the notes and melodies that come along with this amazing app! I fell in love from the start! This is a game I highly recommend to my friends! The only thing is that I wish there were more than three pitches, though. Overall, I still love this app! And I adore the design as well!

🎶I'm obsessed 🎶. I originally thought it would be a boring app that I'd get over in a day, but it's pretty fun! Even if you've never made music, the sets of notes provided for each section of your song make it so that your notes aren't all off-key. I'm really glad I got this app ❤️

Best game I ever played. I put five stars in this game because when I first downloaded this app the app made beautiful with the music and I want the next free app of the week is really really popular and great I can't wait for the free app of the week.

Musical time killer. The music is great, as you can have hardly a clue on what to do, yet manage to pull through. The tunes I hear remind me of last year. I played band then when times were ecstatic, and I've found a great app that is nostalgic, to me.

Waste of time unless it is for a 2 year old.. Why do I fall for these rip off programs. I wish there were warnings before purchase. Save your money unless you have a 2 year old that just wants to bang on an iPad. Useless. I want my $1.99 back, but it is gone. I need more discipline at the App Store. Do not fall for this junk, I tell myself, but out of boredom I purchase and regret. A waste of money. Good money gone.

Lovely design but....... Adding ability to export would allow me to rate this quite lovely app 5 stars. Imo, being able to save the audio to files, use it with Audiobus, or export to an iOS daw or other music app is key for me....Sharing a little melody on FB or Twitter is nice for a lotta people, I’m sure but to use this WITH other sounds created from other musical apps is pretty standard nowadays and would be amazing, as the sounds here are super useful and good quality..... All in all, love the sounds and the ability to add layers of melody....Push the app a little more and open the export option and I’ll give 5 stars happily and sing its praises. Update: Due to the developer’s quick and personalized response to some suggestions I had for this graceful app, which I’m sure will now happen, 5 stars.

Must Have. This game is one of the best music apps out there! It is extremely good because it's the free app of the week. I absolutely love this game!

Original- must download. Lots of games these days seem to be copies of other games or at least similar. The few games that are original are either stupid or big hits. I think that this is one. I'm not like super interested in music apps, In fact usually they bore me. This is different. I love how you can add tunes on top of your existing ones. Also, it has never crashed or had any glitches so far.

Needs Way to Export Audio File. I enjoy this app. I have made a few melodies and tunes I’m happy with using this app. I find it a shame that the developers only allow sharing videos of the app to a user community and social networks. I am a career composer and would like the capability to export recorded audio files.

Music lovers sandbox. As a band geek I keep trying to add all kinds of music theory all in the hopes to make a better tune. In short I'm addicted. As a bonus it seems to summon the grumpiest of my cats who then will demand I pet her as she head butts into the microphone, purring loudly.

Great Game! But some bugs.. I absolutely adore this game. I happen to be a musician and I've been playing violin for a while now. Arranging and composing songs is hard, but with this app you can get a taste for a good melody! Now, normally I'd rate a fantastic game like this 5 stars, but there are some crucial bugs/improvements to be made. For example, every time I have more than one of the same lily open, or even more than four lilies, not all of them will play. It's very strange, and personally I'd like to be able to add as many lilies as I like without this happening. Second, this game desperately needs a tutorial. I figured it out fairly alright, but I would have gotten the hang of it much quicker if the developers had just taken a little bit more time to put that in there. Finally, one last critique: we should be able to loop lilies and have them come in at different intervals. I get it's a simple song game, but I think this would really help the songs flow better if we could have an advanced option or something where we could do this. Other than that, fantastic game! Keep making brilliant work. :)

Amazing. I just downloaded this game and I already love it so much and I just had to buy the extra packs. It’s just so amazing and I’m going to buy your new app. And I totally recommend this to everyone. I hope you make more pack for this in the future and I hope you make more games like this.

Fun little app. I got this app during its stint as "Free App of the Week", and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. The ability to make melodies and share it with other Lily users over the in-game sharing community is fantastic. I also believe that there might be a feature that allows you to speak over the melody itself, which would lend to making a some cool new songs for those interested in sharing their lyrical talents. Overall, I've found the app to be quite good, and will likely continue to use it. Heck, I'll probably even recommend it to my friends.

The app won’t open. I purchased this game hoping it would be fun to explore but I can’t even open it. :( I’m on an iPad and I’ve tried clicking on the app and it just immediately closes out. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading and that didn’t fix it. I’m not sure what else to do :(

Amazing. Although the concept of this app seemed weird upon seeing the pictures and description, but once you get into the style, this game is absolutely amazing. Would recommend for people already accustomed to playing and composing music as this is one of the best apps yet in the genre

Awesome ,but.... This app is amazing , the only thing I wish they could add was that you can save your music and make more but still come back to your other music.

This is great, but just a few suggestions.. This is probably the best music composing games on the internet. But I would like to suggest a few features. To start off with, Most songs have percussion behind them. Sure, you've got the option to make a bass line with all of the different sounds, but there needs to be a little more to it than that, we need some kind of new flower that adds a nice beat to the song. Maybe it could be green. But that's only a suggestion. Another is to have a mode with a completely different layout for some of the more complex people that want to add more to their song than just a simple loop, without going through all the trouble to compose different parts of a song and time the switch just right. Again, these are just a few suggestions, but it would really be cool to see these features added into the game.

Simple but powerful.. It's a very clever take on beat samplers, behind its simplicity lies a very diverse tool to create music, and it's also a funny way to make it.

Lily. A wonderful app- entranced you with its music and you stay for the graphics. This one deserves your owning, and it's absolutely stunning- both visually and with sound.

Won't make sound ?. The app opens and is mute , i've adjusted volume and settings and can get no sound to come from the app . It also does not show up in my phone settings as even existing on my phone . I've deleted and reinstalled this app several times to no avail . please help , i'd like to properly experience this app

The Garage Band for Your Inner Child. You never really wanted to grow up, did you? This app makes song writing a game. Sure, it has musical limitations compared to a true music editor, but you can't expect it to be one: It's simply not. I have had no glitches or issues. The app includes all features I would expect including: Note length (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 beat), Independent volume control, staff range selection, note selection, individual instrument shutoff, and a three-octave span. It's great fun; I would get it — especially right now while it's free (at the time of this review)!

help, i'm in love. The visual design is beautifully simple. I had no trouble figuring out how to use it, but it definitely helped to be familiar with musical structure, so I can understand why others might want a tutorial. I kind of wish I could chain lilies together in sequence and loop the sequence, but I guess part of the fun is learning to get the timing just right 😊👌 I did find a bug where a chord in one of my saved states sometimes loaded a beat behind, and sometimes lilies didn't start playing from the beginning when i tapped them. As far as I can tell, that has something to do with deleting/fiddling with other save states...? Bugs are weirddd. Thanks for a gorgeous game!

Great Job Pelican 7!!!. I love the simplicity of making peaceful music on this app, but we should be able to play as many lilies as we want. It does need a tutorial but it is pretty easy to figure out. Anyways overall it is an amazing game and simple app to use maybe to take your mind off stress Idk i love it!!! Slight learning curve but now I love it!. Took a little while to figure this one out but now I love it! Would be great for kids to get the money not music.

Good concept, underwhelming performance.. If you have no taste for originality within music, or are under 10 years of age, you might find this app to be slightly intriguing. Unfortunately, it's almost impossible to create anything truly unique with this oversimplified design. The best part of this platform is its concept and appearance, but these are ruined by its underwhelming performance and originality. Frankly this game is only useful for music enthusiasts, not creators.

Love it. I am a novice piano player but this app gives me freedom to change the music that I have learned and more. Suggestions : It would be nice to add in a copy and paste feature because I hate having to individually make new flowers to make chords and also please make it so you can individually delete flowers tl;dr: amazing app, add copy/paste and individual photo deletion thingy :^)

Amazing! 10/8😄. The good stuff about the app It's great! I love seeing the petals blink in tune with the music, it's so mesmerizing. I would definitely recommend this, i don't have any problems and i think the sounds are amazing. I wish there was a quick tutorial showing what to do to save your music and whatnot but it's easy enough to figure out. The bad stuff about the app Sometimes I'll be trying to play but some Lily's wont play. I tap on them and nothing happens and when i double tap on them they will start but end randomly.

Hey, that's pretty good!. It's a nice app. Confusing at first because there was no tutorial, but after a while got the hang of it. For all of you saying that your sound isn't working, try TURNING YOUR RINGER ON and turn your volume up.

Useful and Fun, Though Limited. Lily was one of many purchases I made scouring the App Store for any music-making apps I can get my hands on, and having bought up all the pro stuff, I’m taking in apps from the outskirts. Lily strikes me as a sort of primer app as far as music-making goes. The GUI is beautiful, and it’s really useful and fun for making polymetered phrases with the great-sounding in-app soundpacks. I would absolutely recommend it for young students of music to get their hands wet. For professional use, however, it leaves some to be desired. First, you can’t change the tempo. It remains fixed at 110 BPM with no discernible means of adjustment. There is a “tempo” option in the sequencer menu, but this is an error; what is optional is the note *duration* rather than the tempo. Nonetheless, the very simple sequencer can be easily programmed to make multidimensional polyrhythmic sequences thanks to the ability to control the number of steps in a Lily loop. The next problem is it appears that you can’t change the key; only the scale. The key is always rooted in C as far as I can tell, and to the best of my knowledge, there is no way to change that. However, the scale does lock and there is a decent variety to choose from so that you should never find your lines becoming vanilla. Finally - and this is not a shortcoming on the developer’s part, merely an established standard - there is no MIDI input, Ableton Link, AuV3, or Audiobus support. All creations have to be exported, and if you have multiple channels, you may find yourself soloing each one and exporting them one by one only to mix them together elsewhere (GarageBand suffers the same limitation, but that’s an Apple app so the expectations are higher). Mind you, it’s a minor inconvenience for the privilege of building easy melodies. Now none of these complaints come from anything other than a professional perspective and I’m spoiled by the best, so take it with a grain of salt. Nonetheless, for what it is, I still find Lily to be fun to use, easy, and useful for quick loops. Key and tempo transposition I can do in other programs, and while it would be nice to see these innovations incorporated into future versions, none of this will subtract from the experience of what Lily has to deliver. I might have given it a lukewarm rating, but Lily is a perfect gateway for music dabblers to take it to the next step, and for what it it’s, it’s just as good as perfect.

Piece of crap. Thought that this would be a be a beautiful little music app to play with. I opened it up and tapped on the first lily and it played music. As I chose another lily, the app crashed. I opened back up and there was no sound and the app crashed again. This app is crap. (No rhyming pun intended)

Unusable. No sound, no instructions, no customer support. It looks pretty, but for me, it couldn't be less functional. An easy to use music app shouldn't be mute and confusing.

Some Glitches. Amazing app! I love the whole blending notes together, but sometimes I can't activate all the pads.

Having trouble with crashes. Seems like a lot of fun, but after about 30 seconds, it crashes! It may be that my phone is a little older (it's an iPhone 4s) but I really wanted to play.

Crashing. Every time I open the app, i get to do anything flawlessly, and i get to creat music, i can add as many lillies as i want BUT, after 20-30 seconds, the game crashes. every single time.

Too many bugs to enjoy. I can't even create a new set of lily songs and hear what it sounds like. I feel that it became free app of the week and then it just got let go.
