Great Game, but could use some conveniences. Let me start out this review by saying, this game is a nice little game to just kind of toy around with if you’ve nothing better to do. It’s not high maintenance, and doesn’t drain your battery. The one thing that I think would make things a lot easier is if you could mass select characters preform a certain action. For example, certain forage tiles have a high amount of required forage, but only take 15 seconds to complete. It’s pretty annoying to have to swipe the characters over the tile over and over again to complete it. Therefor, it would be nice if I could just select all of my characters at once and then just drag the over the forage tile.

Different and Fun. This is a fun little game to play when you have a small moment. This game is Freemium and as such will display adds, etc., trying to get you to give your life savings away but they’re not too evasive. Expect a lot of waiting around, hence fun to play for a small moment. The story aspect is kind of fun, being able to make choices that effect your characters. I always seem to make choices that negatively effect them, making it so I have to watch adds to revive them but overall the story ark is quite nice. At first it’s like, “How the heck am I ever supposed to get enough materials to build all this stuff?”, but over time you can build buildings that “auto collect” materials for you, making it much easier to build the next building.

Fun, but glitchy and unforgiving.. Neat interface, lots of content. I paid to remove interstitial ads. Unfortunately, the game is still virtually unenjoyable without looking up solutions to the text adventure problems and knowing your options. The app is also littered with glitches. Here are a couple that I’d like to see fixed: -Display error in build menu where your special parts are not visible. -Error in build menu where you will be randomly taken to a different section of the menu; can lead to mis-taps if it happens right before you’re about to build something. -Error in exploration interface where you will be randomly taken to another area without selecting it. Similar to the above issue in the build menu. Can also lead to misallocation of survivors if you don’t catch it. There are more, of course. I’d really like the development team to fix these if they’re going to keep earning revenue off of the app through IAP and advertising.

Ads. Very Good app love the pixel art. But when it comes to very strong bosses, your teammates die very quickly. The quickest way to heal them is if u watch four ads or two minutes of them. Sometimes this doesn’t work and I’lol watch two or three and my hero’s aren’t healing at all. It takes the. 8 hours to heal and an ad takes off 2 hours. If I had to sum up all of the ads I watch just to improve my gameplay, it’s probably 50 right about now. But if you are a patient person then this game is for you. Besides that, everything else is great and the currency is well made making it easy to get more and auto farm materials that you need.

Want to enjoy it, but.... Several parts are broken, especially surrounding the garden mini game. The garden is completely broken, my second permanent survivor is stuck at 90% essence even though I've collected hundreds since reaching that 90%, and the mini game itself is 85% luck or more if you're further along. (You can spend tons of gems to try to bypass the crap RNG if you want, though...) The main game is better, though hats (special equipment that raises stats) always cost a bunch of gems to craft after you unlock them which doesn't make sense... And most of the survivors cost a crapload of gems to unlock, the cheapest of which you might be able to save up for with a month of playing.

Hoping for a chapter two. With as much content as Tinker Island gives, all good things must come to an end. And eventually, yes, there is an end to the story. So now what I’d really love to see is a chapter two. There’s still tons more content that I’ve left unfinished and of course, I’ll be going and completing that. I’ve played this game for months, every day. And although I’ve completed the main storyline, I’m still left with months more of content to complete. However, Id still love to see more of the content updated. I think the most disappointment I’ve gotten from this game is the garden mini game. I love it. I’ve spent hours on it, it could practically be a game on its own. But level 239 is virtually impossible to complete. And as someone who’s played this game consistently for months, I finally gave up after two weeks of trying to beat that level. It’s really disappointing for me because there’s no way to skip the level or even go back to replay others. My other complaint about that is the inability to reset the board in the middle of the level. I think a reset button would prove useful. I really loved the storyline and this is a really unique game that I’m going to continue playing until I’ve gotten every bit of it finished. I’d love to see more of our storyline progress, but for now I have plenty of loose ends to tie. Thank you to Tricky Tribe for an amazing experience!

Overpowered. The exchange rate of the game is hard to come by, especially when you in the middle of a battle and your fighting. It even costs you more gems if you let a survivor go too long without health. Making the save and spend of gems for people who don't want to shell out the money, wait even longer. If the little things on the home screen didn't have so much motion then there would be smoother game play. This makes it harder for the other apps to play because of the slower technology. Not happy about this... This leads to the iPad crashing in the middle of gameplay. The logbook events are sometimes the repeated, making it hard to figure where the real answer is.

Has potential. This game has great potential but is currently unplayable at times. Food is scarce and production times get very high very fast, forcing you to use diamonds or watch an add Just to play. The steam engine that helps reduce your wait only offers adds at certain times of the day. Forget it if your trying to play then. Wait times are ridiculous. Game could use other upgrades like; 1) a way to scroll through Survivors even while working to check there skill levels etc 2) shorter research and work times or adds all day... 3) a way to see what the maximum is in a field. For example: currently it will show a survivors health at 73 with more available before reaching max. But it doesn’t show what the max is.

It's a good time waster. Game is a decent time waster. I like the idea. I like the characters, building stuff to increase their levels, and using weapons / equipment. It's challenging and interesting enough to keep me checking in a few times a day. The whole cherry berry currency thing is dumb. The whole searching for coins on the pirate deck is just so stupid and I've lost so many gems trying to beat levels to get no rewards really I don't even bother going to the pirate events. It seems after awhile the store gets limited to resources and timer decreases. It's been months since I've been offered something I want. Also way too limited amount of pearls. Big bummer to find out there are only so many. I love being able to use an alligator and chimp.

Impressive, with a high percentage of in app purchases to progress. This game is quite enjoyable and I don’t deny spending hours on it. However, it has quickly become apparent the discrepancy in non payable play and in app purchases. For example, you can continue to explore a part of the map in hopes of getting that diamond resource or pay 90 gems for it. I’ve explored that part 10 times and still haven’t gotten it. I understand the developers wanting to make a profit, but the necessary amount of gems needed jumps extremely high and quickly. Same goes for the amount of resources needed to upgrade parts of the camp. The garden game feels, at times, extremely chance related rather than strategical. I’ve played one level 20 times to finally progress because the game just would not give me that needed water, seed, or sun. When it gets to fighting the monsters, the first one costed resources, the second is automatically gems. As someone who avoids in app purchases to progress, this game is stretching my ingenuity to the max. I do like that they implement a chance to earn gems, but it’s like collecting water droplets to get a full glass. I’ll still play, as it is a fun game and the design is wonderful, but as more and more progression costs gems, I’ll probably stop playing in time.

I really recommend.. There are a few annoying things like you’ll run out of resources and have to buy them with gems. Also, there’s a point when you can’t progress without connecting to Facebook. I don’t like that I don’t have the choice not to. I do like that it has little bits of story throughout the game. It really keeps you engaged. They give you plenty of free gems so if you get stuck you can just buy your way out without having to pay. I have a lot of fun playing this. Plus they didn’t make me review to move on.

Fun for a couple hours.... Initially the game was incredibly fun, creating buildings, looking for resources, finding new characters, etc. but after a few hours of gameplay it turns into a slog-fest FAST. I spent $4 getting the wrestler guy, but still if you wanted anything to move at a reasonable speed, you’d have to watch ad after ad or blow through diamonds. You can check in the game, put a few characters places, then you’d have to leave a few seconds later unless you wanted to watch a 30 second video, or wait for 10-15 min for them to do their thing. After a few days of that I deleted the game. Games are fun if you can pop in for 10-15 minutes, set up various things and leave, but at just a few seconds it was completely a chore.

Nice concept. The game is fun and I recommend it. Lots of good content, different angles, good for long term time killing. Once you unlock the garden mini game it goes beyond being just an idle game. However, the flaws in the mechanics of the garden mini game become painfully obvious the further you progress (E.g. need 5 tulips to win the game in less than 25 turns but you only receive 3 seeds). Trading tool out on the survivor deletes the previously equipped tool. I don’t understand why anyone thought this was a good idea for the game design. Get attacked often enough, hard to make potions to heal, survivors “faint” often. Rewards for handling a tough fight is usually gems, not that many. Would rather skip the fight. More to be said, but I uninstalled it without finishing it or really delving into the backstory when I got Bears knife and had it equipped on another survivor and couldn’t complete Bear’s quest so I tried to switch out the knife (+7 to all stats) for some other small tool. It deleted the knife so I had to use gems to bribe Bear to join, lost the knife anyway (probably would’ve gotten to keep it). It was my blunder, but that was my limit. I tolerated a lot of other bs and I do appreciate that there were real choices with consequences but this one just doesn’t even make sense. Neither from a gaming perspective nor from a storytelling perspective.

Good but not Great.. This game has a lot of content. Lots of areas, cool characters, hunts, mechs (believe it), crafting, mini games, events, and it’s relatively easy to earn gems (in game currency). The text based missions/adventures are fun, creative, and at times humorous. Overall this game impresses me, and is much more than I expected. But the game does have some flaws that can greatly impact your progress/enjoyment in this game. Some of the missions/mechanics are nonintuitive and usually end up costing you a ton of your resources. The game can be imbalanced at times where you can’t progress for a long time because of lack of resources, due in part to the flaw mentioned above and just not receiving enough resources/opportunities while playing. There is also real jerk move the game makes where you will have to pick a dialogue but they are all the same (‘place block’ 8 different times for example) and if you don’t pick them in the right order then you fail the mission, but there was no possible way to know beforehand and it wastes all your resources.. Maybe the developers think it’s funny/clever but it just came off as ignorant to me. I’d still recommend this game and will continue playing it but to say that the game doesn’t have some flaws would be a lie, hopefully some of these issues get addressed. Edit: -1 star because of ‘Tangle’ level, fix it or do away with it because it’s a load of crap!

It's gotten better. I got back to the app not too long ago and it’s been updated heavily and so far everything is going smoothly EXCEPT for one thing.....I paid money to buy characters that includes 2 mechanics suits that contain 2 or 4 people in them. Without counting the mechs altogether I have 14,15,16 characters to use. I was just on the game about 3 minutes ago, to find out I only have 8 characters including the mechs. For me to spend money on the app and then have my characters glitch to where I can’t use them is kinda annoying. Please fix.

The Garden. This game is so much fun and doesn’t require WiFi to play it, unlike most games that take a lot of data and still require WiFi. Almost everything about this game I enjoy, from the battles, to the story, to even the garden mini game. But the one thing I would really like fixed is level 68 in garden. No matter how many times I play, I can never get the cactus and I’m forced to create bugs, which stop me from doing anything else! No matter what I do, save the cactus, clear the whole area, ALL I GET IS THE SUN AND WATER. I can’t continue and the level ends because I run out of turns. I’ve been stuck on this level for days and it really destroys my love for this great game. Please fix this issue because I would not want to add this to the hundreds of of other games that I’ve deleted because of such bogus stuff. I will keep playing this game but I would like to continue in the garden and not be stuck on that level. Thank you for your time in reading this.

Another generic money maker. I'm tired of games that constantly use the same tactic. The game in itself is a wonderful idea that would work so well. Keyword in that sentence is 'would'. The entire app is filled to the brim with ads. If you want to continue on with the story, pay 5$ or wait an hour. If that sounds like the type of game you want then you might need some help. Everything you do in the game requires you to wait or pay money. I miss old mobile games where the objective was fun and free. Now it's boring and "free". Now I know what you're thinking, "oh but, they have to put ads in there to make money!" Well yeah but, wouldn't it be better if such a clever game cost 1$ and you could do all the normal stuff. My point is that this game is just ad simulator 2017 and the only reason it has good reviews is because people are desensitized to all of this.

Fun But Complicated. This game is fun and all, but at the same time it’s hard, and some of your survivors get hurt often by just exploring the woods. For example: One survivor got a splinter -20 life. And at the same time, to heal them, it costs way too much knowing that you will be impaled by a skunk. Also getting more survivors are way too expensive dealing with how hard it is to get diamonds. Getting resources is hard, in order to explore, you need to pay 120 meat so that you can get hurt by bumping to a tree -50 life and just get a couple mushrooms and then you’re done exploring that area. It would be cool if you never finish exploring the area and didn’t cost too much meat to make a expedition. About 10 meat would be the approximate amount to make a expedition, and also not to make a healing potion costing way too much meat knowing you don’t get much. Other than all this, the game graphics are cool and the game itself is educational and really fun, including that it’s really creative.

Great game, but HUGE flaw.. Alright, listen guys, this is an amazing game. Funny dialogue, awesome characters, and clever missions that make you so mad if you mess up! But that is not my problem. You see, once you get to around to the back of the island, like haven, ruins, and that huge tower thing, you begin to run out of food. And once you get back there it gets EXPENSIVE. 900 food to go anywhere. I’ve tried EVERYTHING. The tangle, the field, all the coffee, you name it. All I can do now is wait for those FedEx paradrops to get gems for food, and that doesn’t give you nothing. But what’s really infuriating is that the garden thing right after the ruins gives you food, but I can’t get there because I don’t have enough food in the first place!!! Honestly I think it’s a really good game, but without the the key item, it squanders the amazing magnitude of it.

Great game ruined by ads. This game is really unique and fun. I love the creative text adventuring style of it, and I love the idle qualities of generating resources. Unfortunately the game is ruined by needing ads to constantly play to progress at any real pace. I would gladly shell out $5, maybe $10 to unlock permanent time boost, but as it is you're stuck watching an ad every 10 minutes to make any significant progress, or shelling out way too many gems for a paltry hour of boost. This game is designed around waiting. Waiting is no fun if you're forced to watch ads or pay gems every hour for something that may take multiple hours. Besides this and a few annoying rude 'input the same command 50 times' the game is quite fantastic. Keep the other ad boosts, but make the game something special by removing the 10 minute ad booster.

Needs some improvements. The game has really great mechanics, as I've been only playing the game for a few days now, but there are a few hints that really drag on the playability of the game, the first being the stockings for the holiday event. The stockings are a regular drop when exploring, which is fine, but the game keeps repeating the same boring monologue over a few stockings that are essentially worthless, because you need premium stockings to even upgrade the elf in the first place, so you end up with tons of red stockings you can't do anything with. Also, the game is a bit annoying when it try's to get you to connect to Facebook and review it. If you give it a semi negative review, it gets all passive aggressive and says 'um, ok, we are doing the best we can'. If the developers haven't figured out that you don't need to hear the same tutorial after getting a essentially worthless item (unless you are willing to spend the premium currency to try and get the gold stockings), and that not everyone even uses Facebook and dangling opportunities for connecting to it is bad practice for people who don't even have an account, then I am at a bit of a loss when they are 'doing the best they can'.

Love it but what?. I love this game, and I even beat it a long time ago. Recently I decided to replay it but there’s this glitch with the resource gathering where the icon just freezes there and won’t let me switch, thus not allowing me to get more resources. Then, I try to restart the game and it won’t load up, even when it’s been sitting for 20 minutes. Also, I emailed their support email 10 hours ago and have gotten no response. PS they really need to add the next chapter to the story cause it’s been forever

Water mechanism. I’m in love with game, I’m still playing it but I’m not done, I find that the story is well thought out and choices that you can make that make the game almost too easy, but the puzzles make up for that, I also find that the water mechanism puzzle in he chamber ruins extremely difficult, I have already chosen all possible answers, and the closest I’ve ever gotten to the correct answer was when 3 gave me the answer “that’s true but what canister will fill first?” (Not sure if that is direct quote) so I looked online and the closest I came to an answer was look at it from another angle, but I’m sure I’ll get it eventually. Overall this game is challenging and fun.😁

Would have deleted it if not for the garden. This is a pretty good free app. The story is good, the mechanics are good. But I got tired of it after a while, what with the waiting for things to finish. What keeps me playing is the garden. It’s like a game within a game. With no system of lives, you can keep playing indefinitely. I play it all the time since you can just keep going. It doesn’t affect what your survivors are doing, and it can help you unlock new survivors, and impacts the story. The garden is probably the best part of the app, and I would have deleted it long ago had it not been for the thing that kept me hooked. I am 82 levels into the garden and don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

Good but gets dull. This game is overall very enjoyable with what you can do & explore & build in the beginning, but as you continue in the game, it just gets very repetitive after a while & takes a lot of time to go through things as the timer on building & adventuring goes higher the more you progress through the game. I liked it over all tho & I did finish the game as well but once you finish it there’s not much to if you built everything there is. I roughly finished this game in around2-3 months without using any Of it’s in app purchases & I just played on and off. This game isn’t hard by any means but wish there was some sort or more thrilling aspect to it other than its boring fights with beasts & waiting on the units to be done exploring. There’s supposed to be a chapter 2 coming but it’s been about year since this games release & still no update to that or news when a chapter 2 will be released.

I was scammed. This was a game I previously played a couple years ago. I did use Facebook but forgot it was even part of the game until they used it to scam me out of the 8 dollar pack they are advertising. They popped up the 8$ sale that is half of of 16$ and I said okay sounds like a plan to me so I can get back where I was a lot quicker. Then IMMEDIATELY after I paid for it they popped up something saying I should sign in to Facebook. I do so and my 8 dollar package disappeared, I try to find a restore button with no luck, I then try to delete the game and retry from the beginning to see if that would reset my purchase, nope. As a result I am so disappointed and disgusted by the app not having a restore purchases button very clear and available to their customers, especially when they charge this much for simple characters. Until you add an ACCURATE restore purchases button, I will not be buying any more packs and I will be in touch with apple about getting this “purchase” taken back. If apple still wants to charge me then I will be calling my bank and letting them know I’ve been completely and totally scammed by both this fraudulent app creator and apple together. Simply adding a restore purchases and turning this scam into an actual game would otherwise turn this game into a 4 star game in my eyes

Was Great, Not Anymore. At first the game was sorta difficult because I either didn’t have enough food or wood to do something but once i started to unlock more things to build it DID get easier UNTIL I needed something like a crystal or leather or anything else to be able to craft something and those things take FOREVER to get. It’s ridiculously tough to get any of these things without spending gems and I’m trying to save up for more survivors. Really seems like now I need to use real life money to be able to craft things. One crystal costs 90 gems and those things aren’t easy to earn. I did get lucky at one point and made around 300 gems but that instantly went away when I tried to get leather to be able to make Milson. The game’s decent, not great though. And nowadays I seem to notice a lot of bugs. The game freezes or just crashes. I also lost 90 gems last night because I made my stonemason, then updated the game. I guess my stonemason was deleted somehow but I never got my 90 gems back. Edit: I emailed them and they actually gave me 100 gems back.

Great but not amazing.... Great game I love it and it’s really fun to play has a bunch of different quests you can go on and you can make your own decisions so you can decide where to go in the game which is very fun but the only two flaws are that you have to wait a while for some of the things to be finished maybe a little shorter time would be better or make it so you have to use less resources like for example you have to waste 900 food just explore this one area and you have to wait three hours for it to be finished exploring and that’s not even the whole area but overall it’s really fun game it’s really entertaining and I really like it and how you can make your own decisions I wish those popped up more often but it’s really fun.

Cute game, could use improvements. I recently downloaded it and am enjoying it so far! The first day I was able to put a lot of time into it due to the low resources and short wait times - as I have advanced it has quickly become the click-and-wait type of game I expected (perfect for work breaks). I am enjoying the content overall, and think the story part of it is very cute and well done. However, there are a couple of mechanics which need improvement - for one, the survivors health can only be increased by a crafted item or after dying completely. I see no reason why villagers shouldn’t naturally build health over time *without* dying first! This would make battling feel like less of a hassle. The other thing that could use some improvements is the garden game - occasionally I will run out of plants to sun/water and then... keep getting sun & water items, which are totally useless without seeds... and I have to sit there and dry/water the ground over and over, eventually running out of turns before getting another seed? Seems like it was set up to frustrate players into using gems to get moves.

Fun but.... This is a really cool game idea, I had a lot of fun at first, I was able to play a lot and loved the adventures and mechanics. But then the game gets to a point where it is almost impossible to progress without buying gems. They make it rain eight the gems in the beginning but like most other games the wait times are horrendous. I went from playing an hour or two a day in the beginning now it’s something I check in on maybe once or twice a day. To do anything other than just send ppl out on missions is impossible without gems. I spent 1.99 on some gems but refuse to buy more. I’d love to see something like this made with a one time purchase and be able to enjoy the stories all the developers hard work.

Reset Button. I downloaded this game years ago and it was so much fun, but i ended up deleting it and today I decided to redownload. Well it was great until I connected to facebook because my brother plays it as well, it loaded my old game I had from years ago and there was no way to reset the game and play it from the beginning. I know I could just not connect to facebook, but I really do think a reset button would be nice. Still love the game though and I’m glad you guys are still making updates

Well, there are improvements.. I’m playing this for the first time and purchased several survivor packs. There are equipments included and I didn’t know that the equipment will disappear after the survivor takes a new one. So my +100 and +50 and a bunch of other equipments just disappears. Never seen such kind of designs ever These are the trouble I had at the beginning and the worse part is that after I uninstalled the game, all progress are lost, with the purchased item. They did help me find it later, I guess this could be improved. They should also notify the user the first time an item is gonna be equipped that it cannot be taken off.

good game but wayyy too many ads. I used to play this game a couple years ago and loved it. very fun and interesting storyline, cool missions, and i love the garden mini game. its a great way to spend time, especially while youre waiting for your survivors to finish a mission or harvest materials. however, the game has a few issues. for one, the loading screen frequently freezes, and sometimes i cant even get into the game. you are also constantly bombarded with ads. in the past, you used to be able to choose to watch ads in order for a little prize or temporary power up. now, ads constantly appear just while youre doing the standard gameplay. it gets highly frustrating, especially as you cant skip them and they pop up ALL the time. all these ads have made me want to delete the app theyre so annoying. another issue for me is that once you reach level 170 in the garden mini game, it’s virtually impossible. ive tried to beat it countless times but there’s basically no way. very disappointing bc i loved that mini game and now i cant even play it. overall a solid game but desperately needs some tweaks

Pros, Cons, and Experience (Wait Times 👎🏼). While the game begins just as any tutorial, you’re met with a very clean and pleasant looking interface which is where most of the game will take place. Unfortunately there isn’t any way to roam, but I do understand that’s not the type of game it is. Would still be nice to see though. Second the wait times are excessive, while towards the beginning you are met with a lot of skips and free timers, after your past the so called tutorial phase, you’ve now entered excessive wait times. As when you sit down to play the game the wait times can very from 5 minutes to a few hours for a charter you come upon very early in the game. The only way to skip these how ever is by using your gems, but we all know there’s only a limited supply and at a point you will need to spend money, which I do understand is how they make money from this game, it would just be nice to see a decrease in wait times or at least for basic things such as exploring and gathering. But like a said the game is actually quite enjoyable and I like the adventures/decisions you are able to make which will result in different outcomes. But what really brings the game down to a 3 and loses my focus is the time I spend waiting, as all I want to do is sit down and grind and enjoy a hour or two of gameplay, without draining my wallet.

I love this game. I love this game. It's simple. Love the puzzles and questions it asks but the only thing that bothers me is the garden mini game. I'm on a lvl where everything is full of bugs but it won't restart and I've already spent so many gems to switch pieces but they pieces that won't help. Like let's same you need a two piece part instead of a 3, because there's a bug in the way and you use gems but still don't get the correct piece. And also, like in my situation where the whole field is covered and you can't do anything but buy pieces for can't place. It'd be easier if you could put in a restart button for when someone makes a mistake the can restart. Please. I'll still buy gems from you guys but I'm not gonna waste them in a lvl I can't even work on

Used to be the best app on the App Store. Core gameplay is still unbeatable but there are ads every 2 minutes. Never used to be like this, the only times there were ads before was when you CHOSE to watch one to get a reward, but even then you were being ripped off. The rewards you would get probably weren’t even worth $0.05. You’d think with the amount of money they’re making form the ad you watched, they could give you a halfway descent reward, especially when it’s a digital currency that has no real value, they only press a button and you have it, but I digress. You don’t need a constant flow of revenue, especially for a game you never do anything with. I wouldn’t mind the revenue if you were frequently working on the game, giving it massive updates, and well… you know… ACTUALLY EARNING the money. Spamming ads every 2 minutes is lazy and pathetic. You want more money? EARN IT! It’s amazing how much greediness ruins people. Thanks for wasting my time.

Fun enough game. I wait a while to rate games so that I can play them and really see what they are like. Tinker Island is fun but after a couple weeks, it kinda stagnates. The times for doing things increase so much, it's basically just send your people off and shut the game off. There is an in game, garden game to play in the meantime, however, at level 209, forget it. The level is so incredibly imbalanced, you cannot beat it. You get more bug spray than seeds and sun/water. So that's a wash when you're waiting for your people to free up. They are very generous on the diamonds and ways to earn them but again, it's basically just setting up your people to do something for a long while and walking away. The story line is interesting. They really need to fix the in game, garden game.

Ran out of content ages ago. I really enjoyed playing this game. It’s quirky, involves puzzles and retro text based story and riddles (though I’m not a fan of the garden or other puzzles due to getting stuck on levels after playing them hundreds of times but never getting enough resources to fulfill the requirements). But I ran out of the actual gameplay over a year ago, probably closer to two years ago. I kept playing for a while with the pirate ship event and the holiday events but I’m so bored out of my skull because the pirate event is extremely repetitive. Either make more of the actual game or make a sequel or even make it so we can start another camp file to replay this game without losing all of our current camp goodies collected over the years just please do SOMETHING more advanced than these tiny events.

Ads.. I played this game several years ago and beat it except for collecting all the mechs. Feeling nostalgic for it, I redownloaded. Unfortunately the devs have added double or triple the ads which makes me put the game down far more quickly. The steam engine used to run for an hour after watching an ad, keeping me hooked for about that long. Now with it being 10 minutes and having spontaneous ads after exploring (wasting precious steam engine time :/) I get irritated and stop playing. At this rate I may keep going, I may not, it's so annoying. Still a four star game from me, though, because the content is great and very engaging, the gameplay is sleek, and the app very well could be a pay to play, but it's not and I’m thankful for that. Thanks Tricky Tribe for a great game, but please let up on the ads. I’m happy to voluntarily watch ads for in-game rewards, but the spontaneous ones are so irritating and really downgrade gameplay.

Great game, recently ruined by monetization UX. Update: Dropping my review even more. Later on in the game you have to mine the “reef” and “haberdashery” points hundreds and hundreds of times to earn materials to improve your village, and the game punishes you by making you wait for a false “talking” … dialogue, click twice, AND open a chest. For the love of god, remove the dialogue after the first time you mine these point, it’s AGGRESSIVELY user-unfriendly Original: Tinker Island was a beautiful gem of a game, and stands easily as my favorite idler of all time. Sadly, they must have hired a new monetization consultant, because the newest update trashes a wonderful pixelated interface with massive 'buy with gems' buttons on almost every element in the game. I happily and willingly bought the DLC packs, but your gems are over priced and utterly useless in the late game. Now, you can't even see what the buildings you're trying to build DO, because you have to click away from a huge abrasive 'buy with gems' button to get to the description. A huge step backwards for the first mobile idler that motivated me to spend a pretty good amount of money on it because I was getting a benefit. Sad!

Good game but lots of problems. The gameplay itself is actually quite enjoyable and I've found myself playing it for a while now. There is however some things about the game that occasionally make it terrible. There is going to be a lot of time required to do just about anything later on in the game. The thing that really made me dislike this game though is when I attempted to make an in app purchase multiple times and never got what I wanted but was still charged for all of it. There is no restore purchases button and when I tried to contact Apple and the tinker island website I got no response on either. If it weren't for that, this would easily be a 4-5 star game.

Outstanding Game! But.... This is one of my favorite games from the App Store as it has unique dialogue and many amazing things to discover and create. The only drawback that I have seen so far is that about halfway through discovering the island my game started crashing often. Now I can't get past the loading screen in the app. I don't know if this is just because of my old iPhone 5, but nevertheless I would like to this fixed. This is still one of the greatest games I've played on my phone and I would recommend it to everyone playing on a uphone or mobile device.

Lost Temple. I just updated the game and got to the chamber where you do the water puzzle. The answers and pictures are wrong. For the first one it should be 7 but it is 3. The second part of the puzzle has the exact same picture but the answer is 4. The picture of the last part is the same as part 1 and 2, but has a tube connecting the two sections. Despite all this, the answer should still be 7, but it is 5 somehow. I know it’s not game breaking, but it was annoying spending a lot of coral on something that I should be right according to the information given. Overall I love this game and can’t wait for more event islands and part 2. Edit: So I finished the Temple and got Seraph and got to the part where you collect coral everyday to get gems. I just started to work on getting the bee box and then a pop up appeared saying that I unlocked the pier. I checked the map and sure enough I did. I still have Seraph but I can’t collect coral for gems. I tried to explore it but nothing happened when it finished. Edit 2: Now I can get coral but I can’t use it. The pier is still there and doesn’t work and I can’t click on the vegetation to get rid of it for gems.

Ads.... I played this game back on my iPhone 5se and finally found it again! Which is awesome, however... the amount of ads is GOD AWFUL every single time you start it up, ad. Every single time you go to”Chamber” on the Pier, it takes you to a whole other website (Bone apetite) which is INCREDIBLY ANNOYING during the puzzle because you have to close out your app every. Single. Time. Then for the extra production you have to watch and ad every 10 minutes but you see 3 ads in that span anyways. I get that games need funding and sponsors, but it makes the game almost unplayable and unenjoyable because you have to sit through so many ads. I’d really like to see the magic brought back to this game.... as much as I love it, it’s just so annoying and frustrating when you’re trying to advance and do things but you have to watch an ad ever so often.

Great game!! Developers help me unglitch. I love the game and love the story line! It’s awesome!! But Four of my people are stuck in the mech (the first one made of wood and rope) and for some reason it won’t let my people exit! It’s greyed out and now he’s in the side compartment like he’s not in use and I can’t even get him to come out now to attack stuff or get the people out! And I’ve won essence like so many times after it said I was at 90% for the Valkyrie but now the % won’t go up and I should’ve already been able to by her :/ anyhow great game!! Just pls help me with these glitches!! :)

Issues. I really love this game, but I’m having some issues near the end of the story. I’m trying to save up enough food to go to one of the last locations, but every time I open the app no food has accumulated and the people I put in the fishing hole labor function are no longer in it. Also every time I open the app, it was replaying the introduction to the pirates and now to the Santa event. I don’t know if these are problems related to recent updates, but I wanted to bring it to the developers attention. I really like this game but it’s frustrating that I’m so close and the game keeps glitching out my recent progress.

LovED this game. So I just recently found bears knife in the swamp and so OF COURSE I equipped on of my survivors with it and went to the hidden hut only to find out you can’t give it to him like that. There’s no other option other than to spend 200 gems to bribe him and this to me is SO STUPID because why would that even be an option. I can’t do anything with it now and if it’s replaced it won’t come back. The gameplay is mid but I was ignoring all the flaws like (ridiculous gem prices, time restrictions, FORCED PARTICIPATION IN THINGS YOU DONT WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN) I don’t understand why you don’t have the option to NOT participate in the Christmas event and monster fighting. Ever single time I open the app I get 5+ forced story reading of the same thing over and over again. The amount of ads is not even the problem it’s the restrictions you have on the game with absolutely no going back. This game needs some serious work and maybe for someone who doesn’t know anything about the game play, and tell you how it went. I also feel like of course ur gonna know everything in the game you produced so just try to think abt ppl who no nothing about the game getting demolished with no coming back from it.

There’s a way to get rid of ads now!. This is a great game and I can definitely tell from the last time I played that they addressed some unplayable issues. I was so happy when I saw you could pay now to get rid of ads between sending your tribe members to work. Thank you again for adding a way to eliminate pop up ads. This is definitely one of my favorite games ever on the App Store! Been playing for years on and off.

Missing survivor. So I started the Valentine's day event and got to the part where Jenny gets kidnapped. However, I never finished the event past that part, and now that the event has ended I am still missing Jenny. I'm unsure if the event will return as there is no timer present (the pirates still have the timer, and I already finished the castle). If it's not returning, or not returning until next year, will I be permanently missing a survivor? If the event is returning somewhat soon will the timer appear on it, and will I have to restart the event (and get my survivor back) or will I pick up where I left off?

Hard To Improve a Great Game. I’ve downloaded this once before, maybe three years ago or so, and it was my favourite game for a long time. It was a little dependent on gems and patience. Back then I lacked the latter, but since downloading it again for ol’ times sake, I’ve taken great notice to the changes! It’s not as dependent on gems as I remember it being, and even if it is, it’s much easier to collect them now. The stories have more of a puzzle feel, making you think intuitively about the game, and there are ways to decrease time needed for tasks, but also a great way to pass the time waiting. Otherwise it’s just a matter of patience. I would absolutely recommend playing this game, should you have a lot of time to spend on your phone, or only a little. Big thanks to the developers for making this game even better than I thought it already was. Keep up the great work!

Definitely Recommend. This is a brilliant game. Attractive, simple layout, with an awesome little story line and choices. Gems come super easy too. I have, however, finished the main story line, up to the very end, and am eagerly awaiting a continuation! Play this game people. You won’t regret it.

Game controls are a bit bad. When I first started the game I loved the art style and fell in love with the multiple choice story but later on the game controls starting to get a bit confusing for me. There weren’t many tutorials in the beginning and it just said ‘open the building menu’ at one point and for about 10 minutes I was looking around trying to find it. It’s an amazing game but I’d recommend reading about the game first

Garden mini game. When you get to round 11, things go from 0 to 100 real freaking quick. Try tuning down the level scale a bit

Suggestion?. Love this game so much, my one suggestion though would be to maybe please add an "all" button for certain things? Like sending survivors to explore somewhere, building or foraging an item, I think it could be really helpful to have a button that sends all available survivors rather then furiously swiping the screen 14 times 😂 I don't think it would make any difference at the beginning of the game, but later or when you collect more survivors I think it becomes more noticeable 😊

Bar none, the best idle(?) on mobile. I don’t care much for plot, but decent writing whenever stories are told. Unique survivor management as you cannot withdraw a survivor mid-task, forcing you to calculate which survivors you should use or what equipment you should give them. Timing for tasks is not insane which is really nice as it doesn’t make the game P2W, an incredibly prevalent problem in EVERY other idle game. Perhaps the only game that I actually hop on my phone to play, and have done so consistently for the past month, and will do so for the future.

Bug issues ruined the game. I love this game and have been playing for a few years however, ever since the last update I can no longer open the game without turning off both my Wi-Fi and mobile data and I still somehow get ads! It’s kind of destroyed the game for me but if it can be fixed I’ll be happy to play.

Many issues. For me, the game crashes all the time. I’ll be playing the flower game and it’ll crash randomly and I’ll have to start the level again. Also, while building things (example: campfire, workbench, etc) it will say “build now —> cost 0 gems” so I click it and it takes gems from me even though it was free. Another super annoying thing, there is an ad after EVERY SINGLE TIME you send people out to explore, or onto a task. Game needs fixing, I’ve talked to friends that play this game and they have many issues with gems being taken away unfairly. Sometimes I’ll leave the game and come back and gems are missing for no reason. And it’s very easy to use gems by accident (example: getting extra turns on the flower game and it doesn’t ask you twice if you wanna spend 250 gems)

Frustrating and time consuming.. At the beginning of the game you find yourself breezing through each adventure without much of a hastle. But eventually you find yourself having to wait a day for your workshops to get you the materials you need to back track to spots, to find certain materials, to upgrade certain buildings, to then wait another day and rinse and repeat. I fell in love with this game in the first two days of playing it but it just became incredibly tedious and a waste of energy. I’m not recommending this to anyone.

Always ads after 5 clicks. Every time I make a few actions maybe 4 or 5 I am always forced an ad, and this is on top of the ones you actively choose to speed things along or to get extra gems. Basically bombarded with ads which I don’t mind if I choose to click on them but the ones that appear after a certain amount of actions is too much!

Way to many ads. I really enjoy this game but there are so many forced ads on me, I literally had it give me 4 forced ads when I only was foraging for 3 seconds each! Used to love it but they ruined it.. I used to play this game every day for at least an hour. They’ve ruined it with the new update. All the ads they’ve added ruined it. Not the optional ones. The ones you cannot skip. There is way too many. Was a way better game before. No longer will be playing it.

Won’t open anymore. Played till mid game. Assign all survivors on their tasks and the work won’t start. Close the app and restart and it froze on loading screen. Reinstall can’t do the trick either. The app just can’t start anymore.

Too many forced ads. The game is fun, but they keep changing the frequency of the ads. It got to the point where I’ve turned off cellular data for the game, and only play it offline. It’s pretty annoying when I choose to play an ad to get a buff, then thirty seconds later I’m forced to watch one for no reason. Update: I will soon be uninstalling. I’ve logged in three times today to assign tasks to my people, and each time I had a forced ad.

Garden. The regular game is very good but the garden mini game is terrible. It is entirely luck based and some levels take hours of trial and error to complete. There is no way to get better at it and the hard levels are nearly impossible given the way the game works.

Keeps crashing on iPhone 11. As the title says the game just keeps randomly crashing after 5 minutes. During a fight, when reading story bits, when dragging characters to jobs. It keeps constantly crashing.

Great game but.... I love this game. Would’ve been a five star review but for a few small things. First, the tinker garden levels have two much luck in them, second, in online explorations if my WiFi cuts out for even a second, my guys get kicked out and third, after an update it added a bunch of buildings and removed most of my tools, potions and pearls from the shop.

Great. I’ve been trying to look for the game for me. I’ve been bored by all of the survival games that are trying to take your hand and walk you through the whole game. This game teaches you at the beginning and it gives you all of the information you really need. But if you need a refresher you can click on the icon to help you remember. It is very easy to learn and it is quite fun

No down side. I’m coming back to this game from a long time ago. Always loved it and still do. My only disappointment? I can’t move the positions of items in my base camp. It’s not essential, but it would give more reason and functionality to ‘viewing’ your camp, making it feel a little more personal.

Awesome game.. I discovered this game by just scrolling through the App Store, trying to find something to play, when I found this hidden gem, and I've been playing ever since. The story is engaging, the gameplay is well cooked and nicely laid out, and I for sure recommend this app to all of you.

Amazing survival game. I used to play this game a while ago and got bored so I left then I came back and the game was amazing there’s plenty of characters and strategy as well as complex puzzles that make the game really fun, but I hope they add a trap that could capture food but animals like boats and wolves could be used. As a 1 time use animal like birds, just a suggestion.

Tell us the choices. I understand that for some of the events it shouldn’t tell you what will happen with a choice, but for some it is really infuriating when you have to guess which to chose. This happened to me when I chose my judgement from the yetis and I chose community service which was the garden game. This was really annoying as I really don’t like the garden game but I had no way of knowing that chiseling community service would be the garden. This is really annoying and could be easily fixed

Game unplayable due to iPhone Notch. I played this game a long time ago, and I loved it. I recently just remembered and decided to play it again. Upon opening the app, I noticed a fatal flaw. The deadzones for the app were not set up in a way where the UI is fully visible on an iPhone 13. The notch at the tip of the screen covers the location halfway, and the materials at the button of the screen are cut off a little by the iPhone’s curves. Could you please please fix this? I would make it five stars if you do.

Latest update. It’s an entertaining game and the story is good. But my issue is that they have a holiday theme where you get an elf character to upgrade using these stockings that you have to collect via various ways. But when you get out of the app all the stockings you collected go away and then you have to start over. Hopefully it’s a bug that they can patch, but I just got the second level for this elf when I should be at least level 4 based on the amount of time I put in it.

I love it but I’m having trouble. Hi kongregate! I’ve been playing this game for months and I have had very minor bugs but they’ve been addressed. I’m having trouble with getting the spring water located at the waterfall. I’ve searched it countless times and spent over 150 gems on it and I’m hoping that’s it’s not just a bug in my app for the game. If I could get some feedback on this it would be greatly appreciated so I can continue upgrading my island

Mini game. I’m obsessed with the garden minigame the actual game is fine too but the minigame is what I care about. It’s been four years since I last downloaded this game and the minigame has always been on my mind,, please, anyone, tell me where I can find an app that’s similar to the minigame.

Great Game, Only One Minor Complaint. So, I’ve had this game for about a year, and I’ve never gotten bored of it, so kudos on that. The gameplay is easy to understand and good for if you only have a few minutes every so often to check it. (I.e. in between classes) My only complaint is that it’s impossible to get both Kagan the Tiger and Keela the Wolf. I leashed Keela early on, which I would recommend, because you get her relatively early in the game, and she’s very helpful at that point. ONLY if you DON’T leash Keela are you able to get Kagan. You are only able to get one leash, and so you are forced to miss out on one of these adorable survivors. One isn’t necessarily better than the other, but it would be extraordinarily nice to have both. That’s my only complaint. I’ve seen plenty of other people on the forums agree with my position on this matter. Other than that, it’s a wonderful game.

Most of the “playtime” is watching adds. It was super fun for a while but now I’m to the point where pretty much everything takes 20min-4hours real time, to just out a tiny bit of progress into the build or quest. So while yes with watching adds that time can be shortened, but then I feel like I am spending 99% of my time watching adds in order to make it fun. It’s still kinda fun, but it’s also really disappointing. The mini game is also not skill/puzzle based and is rather pretty much all based on chance which is infuriating.

Fun but needs a few features adjusted. Been playing this for a couple days and so far it’s been pretty fun. So far my only real complaint is with crafting/using equipment. You should really be able to craft the same item multiple times or at least allow someone to unequip it. Instead, if you replace someone’s equipment with something new, it destroys the old item. And since you can’t make anything twice, it’s gone forever. Kind of annoying.

Superb, yet almost perfect.. This game is incredibly immersive. I do truly start to feel like I’m leading a survival expedition. The different locations, jobs, characters, and scenarios you find yourself getting into are unique and quite honestly a lot of fun. The only thing I find myself wishing there was more of is friend interaction. If I could let’s say trade items, leave items, or let some of my survivors help them in an expedition I think it would add the last dimension this game needs.

Lost progress. I had already finished the game and stopped playing for a little while (connected to the internet to the last). Now, I’ve lost progress and am bumped back to when I just got to the reef. I used to have Bear, but he’s back in his house (I bribed him before, so i lost 200 gems at this point. But that’s not all since I had also gotten a hat for gems). Tons of potions gone, so many buildings unbuilt, items not found, I had 100+ cherries, now there’s only 3... Bottom line, disappointed. I had facebook and kongregate synced up. Doesn’t make sense

ruined by ads. i had this game a few years ago and enjoyed it a lot, so i thought i'd redownload it and play again . . . but it's absolutely ruined by constant intrusive ads that interrupt gameplay and waste the short timed boosts to production and speed. i can't go two rounds of exploration without getting an ad that i have to click the X on three or four times before it actually closes instead of changing to a different part of the ad. it's infuriating!!

Fun as (you know). This game is honest to god enjoyable for me, they’re are some parts when you just have to wait a long time near ish to the beginning of the game, but after you get on the next day you have a lot to work with, so it’s fun for an hour maybe two a day, but it’s really enjoyable

Love this app!. You know when you’re browsing the app shop, looking for free games that are like computer/console games, but all you find is random out of the blue puzzle games or really weird games? Well this app feels like a REAL game. It doesn’t even have pop-up ads, all the ads you see are ones you PURPOSELY want to see. psst. It’s also made by the folks at Kongregate. You know, the website with a crap ton of good flash games? That place. Get this app.

Great game. This is the first game that I have ever written a review for because it is the first game that I could ever play until the end! I loved how the story evolved and changed and how many buildings and tools and locations there are! This is truly a great game and I appreciate that you guys made it free! I also noticed at the end that there might be a part two on a new world or something and I am really excited for that once it comes around!

It’s good, BUT they lock you out. This game is fun. If there weren’t so many ads even better. My issue is I don’t want to connect my Facebook account to them, they kept on asking and asking so I finally replied NEVER so they can stop. Their response was like: since you said never, we will block of this location, to get it back you have to connect and invite 3 friends and have them accept and play to get it back. What is this? I didn’t play to get locked out.

Resource and store glitches kill the game. Whether this is intentional or not the glitches that do not update resources from the “labor” fields ensure that the game takes an infuriatingly long time to progress in (which pushes you to buy gems). Also the “free” characters max out after the first one obtained I am on lvl 64 and have racked up of 1000 elixir for the second companion but am stuck at 90% of the elixir needed. This leads me to believe that I MUST buy gems to get this character. The pricing in gems, like so many other games, is outrageous... overall I will most likely delete the game because of this..playing becomes unfun.

THE best app I've ever used. Out of all the games I've downloaded this have to be my favorite. It has many hours of playtime and it's just so fun. You have to make important choices that determine the outcome of certain things such as the gain or loss of resources and survivors. The clever writing and choose your story aspect makes it so much more fun. Save your gems! They're important for getting survivors. You MUST play this game

The garden problem. Dude I love this game so much but still at a certain level of the garden mini game it becomes stuck and you can not do anything about it and the garden mini game was made to pass time while you are sending your survivors to explore but it gets boring waiting so then people would go to the garden to play the mini game but then it’s stuck and you can’t play it so then you think to your self what the hell why can’t I play the garden but then that is because you are stuck and there are no more plants to use the water or sun on because there was no way too beat the level so then people will start to uninstall it

Gem spending. The game is great I love them story, and it’s a good way to spend some down time on something fun. The only problem I have is when your characters die. If you have spent gems to speed everything up it does not apply to there revive cycles which I feel it should. You would still have to watch a video or wait however long, but it would be within the time frame you had and you wouldn’t constantly be watching 3-4 videos all the time.

Great Game, Ended By A Glitch. (I’m not good with words, BTW) I absolutely loved the game even though I got stuck on the flower minigame (still think the gem cost for discarding tiles is WAAAY too high). Unfortunately the game seemed to load slowly everytime the weekly deal for survivors showed up and apparently the third time was the charm because now it wont even load the resources panel when i boot up. (BTW, the button to raise idle resources by 50% isn't very responsive. Ive had to alternate between clicking and holding it down until an ad pops up) I wish it hadn't ended like this, this is only the second app I've had to give up on due to glitches and the first one was because of a glitchy update.

Better than expected. This game is super chill to play and the mini game is pretty fun/frustrating. It’s like playing a card game, Oregon trail, and candy crush all at the same time. You can also walk away from the game and continue on with life. Or you can play constantly like a fiend because the green gems are super easy to replenish.

Some ads are broken. Things take a little long to complete. Fights are way too difficult. I have to wait for team to heal 2-4 times to finish a single battle and there are no more upgrades for fight strength. And when I try to watch videos to quickly heal them, it constantly goes to Revolt page which there is no way out of and I never get the ad watch reward.

No longer works on internet. I was playing the game today and everything was running smoothly until I closed out of the app. I tried to re-enter the app and now the loading bar becomes full but the game never opens. The only way I can play is if I turn WiFi and cellular data off and because of this I have to start all over. I really enjoy this game but unless this glitch is fixed I don’t see any reason to continue playing

Amazing - Excessive Adds. Love, love, love the game. Right amount of strategic with a story that is pulling me in. The problem, way too many adds. Like many games, you can watch an add for a bonus effect. Quite often in this game, for one bonus effect (typically one add) you need to watch 4 adds back to back and need to press the “NEXT” button. I payed for an in game add on to stop some of the adds but the rest, you can’t do anything about regardless how much you pay....smh that’s the only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars.

Lovely game. Update: after playing some time now it seems that ads don’t show annoyingly anymore, maybe developers have fixed or adjusted it or you have to play a little more, only 2 hours for example, to pass certain level and ads become normal. Surprisingly auto ads are gone and they are optional for gem rewards now. — For developers: I loved this great game but the one star is for ads that doesn’t let you play at all. you are excited to play and after a minute an ad shows! If Ads were optional for getting coin I would watch many everyday! But it seems like watching ads and playing between ads actually :) For players: You should try this game, it is very calming and attractive.

Great game. Great game, only one fix. I HAVE CLICKED THE DAILY BONUS 8 times and I never get the reward. Just a minor bug. I hope it gets fixed. 👌 Also, I think if would be better if the characters health went up over time instead of the game forcing you to use potions or wait until they literally hit 0 health.

Great, but.... It does start to take forever to get anything done. As another reviewer said, “you basically just send them to do things and shut the game off.” It would be a lot more interesting and fun if it was sped up a little. I know there is the steam engine, but it’s expensive and only runs for a few hours. Besides that, the game is beautifully made and the storyline is really interesting.

Excellent Premise, Good Story, Too Much Pay To Play. I loved the game, its a great game to pass time with nice flavortext, and it feels good when the story tab for text pops up. Interesting fighting system and unique ideas, but my only problem is how much ads directly influence the game, and how you have Characters that, to unlock, you have to straight up buy, I like how some things can be bought with resources.

Perfection. I have been playing this game for 1 year and have not gotten tired of it. You have to use wood and stone and food very well to be playing the game. The game just seems endless due to how hard the game is. I love the battles because of you want to win you have to be prepared. As the game goes on it gets harder making it more fun. So in 1 sentence I have no complaints

Decent!. For a free game I enjoy it. Yes, there are things you will need to use gems for, but you can watch videos for said gems as well as finish achievements for gems. I don’t have the best patience to wait for items to finish being made or finish exploring so I’ve already bought a few gems myself. Anyway I like this game quite a bit 😂

Good for Pass Time!. I like this game had it since November and now since I have a lot of time on my hands, I decided to pick back up on this game! Love the puzzles and way to choose my destiny. Amazing !!. This game combines the survival and resource management aspects in order to create an all new experience. Normally I don’t like survival games on the App Store but this changed my perspective. The logbook feature also adds an entirely new experience with the game. The in-app purchased are there and are advertised a bit but the game doesn’t try to force them on you like with other games. Overall, this game is an amazing experience waiting to be experienced.

Chapters. At the end of the game it says end of chapter 1 and in chapter 2 they will be traveling through time, but THERE HASN’T BEEN A CHAPTER 2! I have been waiting for about 2 years for there to be a continuation but there hasn’t been one yet. So can you please make a chapter 2. I would be so happy. Thank you for reading this.

What happened to you Tinker Island?. Send the villagers to do a task > AD. Click the “Free” option (because you told me to) > AD. Progress through the story choices > AD. Try to exit out of the Ad when you can? Good luck hitting the wrong spot/location because your getting a pop up for an App download. What happened to the Tinker Island I remembered from a couple years ago? I would gladly support the Devs with an IAP to bypass all Ads. Heck, I even supported them purposefully with the speed up option(?) by watching an Ad a couple years ago. Now your forced into Ads no matter what. UNINSTALLED

Frame rate dropped. So I reached the end of the game I’ve upgraded everything about 90% of the way, the story is 99% done but all of sudden it’s now laggy and the frame rates have dropped...it’s like I’m playing at 5 FPS which is garbage although I still love this game but the bugs should be checked

Clap. So when I downloaded this game I thought it would be a mediocre game because I really just wanted to find a good game at the time, and well I did. I love the graphics and the way you put in story with the logbook to illustrate your adventures and I have been playing for over a week and feel like I have not gotten close to the end. Thank you for a game I can finally enjoy.

Fun games but the ads are sometimes too much. This game is pretty fun but most games that have people that watch ads and pay money to progress faster don’t also give you ads while your in game. Also there’s a glitch with the ads for speed up where u have to watch 2 ads bc the first one doesn’t work

Read a Book Instead. Really nothing special about this game. Just a story that progresses based on your characters’ stats. And the characters are simply cards you distribute towards a certain direction. Practically plays itself. Games forces “needs” in order to progress. Two stars for the amount of effort the developers put in this unfulfilling game. Makes me wonder if any developer actually plays their own game before releasing it to the public.

Fun but not amazing.. I have played this game for a few hours and find it to be quite enjoyable, especially for a free game! But after a while the it can get very boring to a point where every hour or so I would be able to progress further, but outside of those times I would find myself away from the app, just waiting for the next opportunity to do something in the game.

We need more games like this -_-. I like this game because it’s fun most games I play I just get on the waste time and then I get tired of them but this game there is more and more and it’s fresh and it’s constantly new to me plz make more games like this people i mean no ones going to see this but that’s why fortnite is so popular it should have died ages ago but it’s still here because they keep it new make more games like this

Love it! (Updated 2019). I love the logical puzzles in it as well as the problem solving. I don't think there is anything wrong with having to fight. Please continue making more of this game as it is. Update: came back to this game years later, still amazing but I’d have to say, you should be able to redo some choices, and should be able to get both the dog and the tiger. I didn’t know there was a tiger and now I’m stuck with the dog. I would really like them both. If that were fixed this would be five stars!

Good game but minor problems. The game is super fun, there is so much to do. On the other hand I’ve got stuck on a mission . Twice and had to delete the game and restart just because you get stuck in the mission and can’t exit which is an annoying problem. Hopefully they will fix soon but overall great game

Fun but frustrating. I love the game and the little interactive storylines but when playing the winter/holiday ice location, don’t choose to play the Winter Garden. As with some of the regular garden levels, it is statistically and mathematically impossible to solve unless the EXACT parts are generated. For example, level 20 (the final level) give you 75 moves to solve a garden that minimum needs at least 175 (if pieces are singular, i.e. one sun) and it’s beyond frustrating.

Great game but..... I enjoy the game a lot but I purchased two packs of 550 gems and never received them. Hoping to get my gems so I can continue to get more survivors. But also conveniently the “report issue” link in game isn’t doing anything. If you play the game, just don’t try and purchase anything until this gets sorted.
