Unable to update. Extremely frustrating when the app wont allow you to update. i’m unable to see anything in my account because it will not get passed the update stage 🤬.

Fix this app!. Everytime I try to use it, I receive a notice that I must use Care.com app HOWEVER, it is only in this app that I can contact my care provider! This is not accessible via the care.com app! So, I am forced to log onto care@work app, try to QUICKLY click on the contact screen before the “switch to care.com app” window pops up. There is no way to close this window, so then one has to restart the app everytime if you don’t click to the contact page fast enough. There is no way to contact you via the App support link on this page and also no support contact on your other pages unless someone adds Premium. A very poor way to run your service. Please fix this now. Either put the ability to contact your booked caregivers into the care.com app OR get rid of the pop-up in the care@work app!

Update Infinite Loop. Freshly downloaded the current version from Apple Store - on first launch it alerts that an Update is required (odd… I just downloaded it…). Update sends me back to store which confirms I have latest release and only gives me Open option…. Which sends me back to app which wants to update so back to store…. So completely broken, can’t use. If I could determine a way to harness the energy the infinite loop could power cities with its perpetual motion cycle. iOS is most current version

Can’t open app. It says need to upgrade but doesn’t have any upgrade

The worst. This app is trash. Too many glitches, say fields are blank when they’re not & saying that there is info missing when there is no spot for the info it’s asking for?! It’s quite frustrating for a service that’s supposed to make things easier. Figure it out & get an update out for this app ASAP.

App not working. App won’t let me open unless I update the app, however there is no way to update.

Update error message. Update error message displayed. Won’t update app. Phone and iOS fully updated. Even tried deleting and reinstalling without success.

Extremely helpful. This came in extremely handy when I needed to find a someone to take care of my daughter last minute. The caregiver they sent was so nice it truly saved me!

Upgrade failure. Every time I open the app it says I must upgrade, but there is no upgrade available

Fix the date!. The app is good except that it confirms the date that is 1 day before the date you chose at the beginning of the request. Please fix this. This caused a lot of confusion because I specifically chose 3 days and completed the request, but the dates in the confirmation was off by a day. I ended up having to call to ensure they got the correct dates.

There for you!. The app is super easy to use and navigate. BUC has helped me many times when I was in a bind with care for my son on days I was traveling for work. Highly recommend to all working parents!

Great for backup care. It’s such a life saver. I highly recommend this app for anyone who needs on-demand care!

Login issues - limited support. Care at work app requires a login using a third party browser which hangs. Good luck navigating help pages to find a direct contact.

Thanks for putting me out of work while I try to pay off college debt.. My account was “terminated” with no reason as to why. I am a college student and this was my primary job. You have disconnected me with job offers and families I was currently speaking with. I deserve to know what happened as your list of examples did not apply to me at all. Do one quick swipe through the iTunes Store reviews, or you customer service reviews on google. I am not the only one who this has happened to, as plenty of your reviewers seem to have the exact same issue and have had no response as to why. I will be continuing to attempt contact until I am met with some sort of an explanation. This is so disrespectful, inconvenient and unprofessional of a company.

It was a breeze.... Very user friendly. Was able to find backup care in just minutes. Now I can focus on my meeting-filled day at work knowing my loved ones are being cared for.

Unable to adjust the max hourly rate. The app is not formatted correctly for iPhone and will not allow you to reach the right edge of the bar that would let you adjust the maximum hourly rate when searching for a caregiver.

Can’t use. Ditto… I have attempted to “upgrade”/ update the app on 3 different devices but it doesn’t work. I also have the latest IOS version as well. This needs to be repaired ASAP. It’s quite inconvenient.

App not working. The app has stopped working- I’m guessing it’s not compatible with the latest iOS update.

Useless!. This app is useless. None of the email contact functions work. You can’t complete the fields needed. Just save yourself the headache and use your desktop.

Couldn’t be easier!. It’s so easy to find care when I’m traveling for work. I’m on the road all the time, so having access to care though the app is awesome.

So easy to book care!!. I love how easy it is to now book backup care. Plus this has all my benefits in one place!

Non functional app. When the app opens it says to update and upgrade, takes you back to App Store where there is no update only the open app button which starts the whole cycle again.

Worst App ever. This App is so problematic. It wouldn’t let me click on things and showed up a message to ask me to use care.com app. But I need to use it to text the nanny. It then generates false phone number.

Cannot active?. When I attempt to activate, there is not ‘active’ button. I put in all my information and the button just disappears.

Garbage. Downloaded, go to open, says it needs updates but there are none available. Totally worthless and per my backup care email received from care.com this is supposedly the only way to reach out to my backup care provider.

Error message. I can not access the app. It says I must “upgrade the app” but I have the latest version. I even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and I get the same error.

So helpful!. This app has been super helpful and an all around life saver🙌

Backup care is great. The first time you use in center care the forms are quite long and arduous. But, the second time is a lot smoother since those fields are completed and reused.

Can’t update not working. I get a warning everytime to update but no version to update. My iPhone has newest software

Brutal. App either crashes or won't let me sign in. Stick to the web site.

Upgrade app not an option.. Really need this for my benefits at work but no way around the app asking to be Upgraded, not an option and won’t go around it. As the other reviews have stated.

Terrible Functionality. Almost every single time I open this app a screen pops up and points me to the care.com app for “all of my needs.” That would be great if the actual functionality I needed was in both apps. With this app I have the option to contact the assigned care provider ahead of time, but I am unable to because that window pops up. That window can’t be closed so the only option is to go to care.com app which doesn’t have an option to contact the assigned provider. I’d say that windo pops up 19 out of 20 times I open the app and is incredibly frustrating. My company tell me to use the @app but it’s basically unusable. If care.com app has that functionality I would be fine, but it doesn’t.

Terrible service and useless app. Care.com back up care was good back in 2019 and 2020, even through COVID. But as of late 2021, their service is terrible. They cannot find caregivers ever, don’t provide regular updates, caregivers cancel on you last minute, and all Care.com does is refund you which doesn’t go a far way when you are still in need of care. Particularly frustrating when they leave you waiting until the night before and then send an apology note with a refund.

Doesn’t load. This app has never loaded the messages/applications that are pending.

App broken. Like other reviewers, this app is currently broken on iPhone. It does not have a way to close the care.com pop-up page, thus making the app useless. I am not able to message my back-up providers. Please fix!!

Can’t update app. The app will no longer let me use it and give me an error message that says I must “upgrade”(I assume they mean update) it but there is no way to update. I have the lastest iOS and my phone is compatible. Very frustrating.

So convenient!. What a nice option for last minute care needs! The app is straight forward to use almost like ordering an Uber or food delivery! How convenient!

Does Work. Unable to update therefore it will not open.

App doesn't work. App froze on emergency contact page while requesting backup care. I had to call directly to fulfill request.

Backup care reimbursement nonexistent. I’ve had multiple claims “pending” for almost 2 weeks now. They specifically stated “we will review your claim within 7 business days.” There’s no email or number listed to contact Care@work, it always just takes you to the regular care.com customer service and they get mad at you for calling the wrong number. Horrible way to do business.

Super helpful for working parents. I used this app to book backup care when my kids school was closed. It was much easier than having to arrange something on my own, and the nanny that came to our house was really nice and professional.

Terrible app. I booked backup care through the care.com app but to contact the sitter it says I have to use the care@work app. Once I sign in on the care@work app it literally won’t let me interact on the app and forces me back to go back to the care.com app, where of course I am not able to contact the sitter

Horrible. Immediately, the app prompts me to open care.com but that app doesn't have access to my backup care confirmation, thus no way to access my sitter or messages.

Horrible. Used the website, not bad. The mobile website is terrible, and the app is unusable. Literally because you can't sign in to the app is you already registered on the website. I am saddened that my company actually pays for this service.

App Used to work great, now pushes you onto other app. I used this app frequently for backup care requests through my workplace. The app and service were wonderful, fast and efficient. Recently, care.com has added a pop up every time I open the app requesting that I open the care.com app. There are several things I cannot do on the care.com app that I was preciously using the care @ work app for, most notably the ability to contact my caregiver. On the care.com app I am unable to click into my bookings or contact my caregiver. There is no way to use the care @work app because this pop up redirects you and you are unable to close out of it.

Non-functional. The whole point of the app is to allow me to submit a request, but it is impossible to submit a request because the credit card handling is broken. For the second week in a row, I enter all the many details, and then at the last step the app says that there is an error with the expiration date. I entered the expiration date the only way that one can: as MM/YY. Last week the app error told me that the date needs to be entered as MM/YYYY. This was and is impossible. This week the app just says "error" and reports the java variable that it has a problem with: the expiration date. Please fix this and please stop having your call center tell me that the app works.

Reimbursement section error. Reimbursement section can’t be sorted by year or month. Also, I just noticed my page is all blacked out. Please fix this issue!

Love, love, love this service!. My nanny had just left us and I used this to request a backup care provider to assist my husband while I was away on business. The request took less than two minutes to submit and I had an excellent caregiver at my doorstep within a few hours. Great work Care.com!
