Great, Great, Great..... great idea, great consept, and ultimatly at a great price. I do not have the online application, only the mobile app, and although i think there should be a bridge between the two.....meaning forthose who purchased full access in the begining, should have been grandfathered into the online launch.....it was not an option for us, and we opted to purchase the TOP SHELF option, FULL access. So in saying that I CANNOT speak to the ease or function of that platform, but I do love the mobile app......being able to capture a recipe while at a relatives, or even browsing through recipes (wink wink) while shopping. having the option to store many recipes is reason enough to consider OrganizEat for all your recipe needs, but the sharing, organizing has appealing features as well. Still looking for something that I can use both mobil/app and online since i DO HATE not being able to work , save, share when I am working from laptop but for now I am making the most and getting my money"s worth of the OrganizEat mobile app

The BEST APP EVER!!. I absolutely love this app! The organization of my recipes makes it so easy to find them. The best feature is the importing of recipes from the internet. I’ve noticed that more and more online sites are linked to organizEat which makes downloading a breeze. I can also take pictures of my old time recipes that I have on paper so everything is at my finger tips. It is worth the unlimited buy. Once I maxed out on the free version, I think it allows 20 recipes, I immediately made the one time purchase of the app. I’m so glad it is a one time purchase and not a subscription. It may seem pricey but it is so worth every penny!! Thank you for creating this app! It has been a Godsend to my prep and cooking. It helps to have my whole recipe box with me where ever I go so that I can pull it up in the grocery store and make the purchases I need for the evening dinner! Don’t hesitate to buy... you’ll be happy you did, like me!!

Easy organization, finally!. I don't buy apps but OrganizEat is worth double or more. I was constantly searching for "that one recipe" in a giant 3-ring binder and now I just grab my phone or pad and easily search for my favorite food recipes. The app stays open even if your device is set to go to sleep. I love this feature because my phone is set to sleep pretty quickly. I'm never frustrated the way I was while prepping or cooking while following a recipe in the browser, and then finding the phone asleep. Sure, I can extend sleeping time in Settings, but now I don't have to. Adding recipes from different sources is great. Thank goodness I don't have to transcribe my entire collection. The app allows me to take foodie photos and add them to my recipes. Pretty cool. I haven't had any problems using this app and I really appreciate how easy it is to use.

Absolutely perfect for in the kitchen.. So far I have been loving it. It has meal planner, grocery lists, and the recipes binder! I’m in love with the recipe binder! I’ve been contemplating on buying a recipe binder to fill. But honestly the digital one here is pretty much where it’s at. Every recipe is digital now so it would be silly to print just to put in a binder. I’d get it if we still used recipes that are in newspapers and on food boxes (although I use those too but not often.) I’m happy there’s a planner and list there too. I haven’t messed with that portion yet. But On the negative side I almost deleted it because of the price flash after first opening the app after downloading it. There is a free version luckily. Im unsure what the difference is. I’m sure I can only save x amount until I have to pay for it. Which if the app serves me greatly, I probably will purchase it. I’m happy there’s a free version. I don’t like purchasing apps without even trying it. I’m sure many of you don’t either. I’m hoping to see this app grow. Maybe I’m due time as the app grows we would be able to connect Pinterest and allrecipes somehow (like sign in or something) . And also have a in app friend circle that we can look at each other’s recipe books, that would be fun and cool!

The best way to store and organize recipes. I have been using this app for awhile now, and wanted to express my thanks for a product worth my money. The ability to store and organize recipes on this is the best I’ve found. Making your own category headings, then arranging to your liking has simplified my recipe collection. The ability to store a recipe from a photo is boss. (Let’s be honest, those of us who can barely remember the date are not going to take the time to type up a recipe). I optimize it for my tried and true family recipes, and store “try me” recipes under separate folders. This makes it so easy to share recipes as well. My mom stores her recipes in various folders and books, and would call me when she couldn’t find certain family faves. I had her download the app, and she can access them at all times. My daughter is the type that bullet journals and makes all her things beautiful with calligraphy. I am about efficiency and organization, so creating a book of family recipes as she requested isn’t my cup of tea. She downloaded the app, and can now decorate and write up her family recipe book as she sees fit, on her own time schedule. She is able to see her fav recipes in my sloppy handwriting and notes whenever she likes. My youngest daughter has her own folders, so she can explore the culinary world without messing up my organization. So much to love. Thank you for a much needed product!

After years still the best money spent on an app. I researched other recipe apps, then started with the free version. I found that it was not complicated, and started by adding my chili recipe, then Alton Browns guac. recipe, that was all I had, but it was easy so I added a few old family recipes so I could tell when my wife was adding “FLAIR”. Almost like it was a game I quickly filled the free version, importing from the web is easy , I realized the true organizational usefulness of this app. I actually bought the full version. My wife laughed at me, I’m cheap I never buy apps, this is the absolutely most expensive app I have ever purchased. BUT I looked at the hundreds of dollars in cookbooks my wife has, and just try finding that same internet recipe online again......... THEN IT HAPPENED: My wife was walking around angry, she had over time put together a binder of recipe copies for the lake house, but recipe she planned on making for our guests as not there. I pulled out my phone, opened he app and showed her the recipe she needed .... she is a convert.

New review update to: Chefs beware. ...I'd like to update my old review to a new and more positive one. Since I posted my last review, the powers that be at Organizeats were able to fix the issue of me not having "unlimited recipes ", and everything is working well, as it should be. They responded promptly to my problem via email and I am happy to be able to continue using the app.I downloaded the app with hopes this would be a simple way to store recipes. But, it only allows you to have up to five recipes, with the option of paying more (a lot more than you'd expect for a cookbook app), which I did. They offered it as a "one-time" charge, and you get unlimited recipes. However, it wasn't a one time charge, and in fact, the "unlimited" only lasted for three months. Now, I can no longer add recipes without paying another high priced fee for a cookbook app that's only fair at best to begin with. I'm now searching for a better cookbook app. Don't waste your time with this one, it's not worth it.

Best recipe app ever!. I have tried so many recipe apps over the years and usually lose interest after a week or so. This app is exactly what I’m looking for and worth every penny! Is it a lot for an app? Maybe, sure, but it’s no different from going into Staples or Office Max 20 years ago and paying $25 for software. Why do I love it? My favorite part is the automatic recipe upload from my favorite food sites, including the main photo. Yes there are times I have a recipe that can’t upload (Disney Food and Wine festival Greek nachos from a random blog) but I can screen shot the blog page and save the recipe or I can type it into the app. But honest to goodness, I love opening the app and seeing all of my recipes by picture. It’s like scrolling through a beautiful, full color recipe book with photos for every recipe (you know how rare yet wonderful that is) with all of my favorite recipes, no duds. I haven’t tried the meal planner yet or the grocery shopping list, but i did click around and it looks pretty neat. You can add all of the ingredients you need for a recipe to your shopping list just with one click. Do it for a few recipes and you find the shopping list is organized by grocery store section (dairy, produce, etc). Again, haven’t used this part of the app aside from playing around, but my plan-everything sister-in-law looked over my shoulder and was in awe. Four thumbs up from us!

Great app, couple of suggestions... Updated!. I originally put “I wish ingredients was not column based for text entry, since most recipes I have are in text files. So I just paste them into notes.”, but they responded that I could swipe left and do my copy and paste there and it works like a champ!!! Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a way to edit existing ones and paste a bunch of ingredients at one time, but it’s easy enough to delete and recreate the right way! When importing from websites, it doesn’t use the tab columns either. So why have them. I’d rather it be one big field I can paste into, and it could use a logic of return character to separate the individual line items, after the fact. Same with directions. Each return character equals one line. Update: This is more a nit then an problem. Having an empty picture and tags field showing 1st is not very nice looking. If they’re empty they shouldn’t show, at least at the beginning. If I want to add them, I can go into edit. Another nit, but I can live with it. When sharing, it actually makes a PDF file, which is great!!! I like how you can move ingredients in different order. Overall, great app, but could use help in text input and not showing blank fields. Update: this is a great app and after receiving a response to my original feedback, I now know how to do the manual entry, so I’ve updated my rating to a 5 star. Could be more intuitive, but all in all, the best recipe app I could find!! Thanks!!

Worth the Investments. I invested in this app as my primary recipe keeper about 3 years ago, and I love it. It keeps my recipes well-organized and easy-to-find, and it’s really easy to input a recipe and just as importantly, really easy to add my own notes about tweaking the recipe to my family’s tastes and needs. I paid the one-time fee for “Lifetime” full access to the apps’ features so I could upload up to 5 images, which has been super helpful when I find a recipe I like online. One of the awesome things about this app is that my recipes sync up; whether I input a recipe through my iPad or my iPhone, the recipe is accessible through the other device. This is essential for me because I often need to open a recipe while in the grocery store to make sure I buy the right ingredients. I’m not a great cook, but this recipe-keeper app helps me be a better cook. Also, I got a new iPhone for Christmas, and accessing my recipes and my original “Lifetime” purchase on my new devise was a simple tap of a button when the app prompted me. I don’t have time for “complicated” tech, so I love the ease of this app. It was a fantastic investment that continues to meet all my expectations and needs.

Very Nifty!. I’ve tried several recipe apps and realized that I didn’t really understand exactly what I needed. A few apps had links to recipes but only half actually worked. Tried pantry inventory apps to build meals from what I had on hand. That cost me more time to manage than doing the meal prep and cooking. Then I found this app. Admittedly, I was less than optimistic that it would be anything more than a bunch of ads and/or a disappointing user interface with lots of bugginess. I was truly surprised at how easy it is to use. Not just the ergonomics, but how it actually saves me a tremendous amount of time by staying organized (without investing late night hours) and lets me plan better. Sharing across multiple devices was a snap. Downloaded the app on my phone, logged in, and the devices auto-synched immediately. Love the shopping list and how easy it is to use! I made an error and added a recipe to the wrong folder. Couldn’t figure out how to move it. Within 1 min looking thru the help tutorial, found the answer! That really helps! It’s not a fancy app nor does it need to be. I’m grateful the developer chose to focus on the basics and make those work very well. Now I can free up some digital space by deleting a bunch of other recipe apps that just don’t provide value!

The best app, superior customer service. Customer update: I’ve now been using this app for several years, and I am more pleased every year. It continues to check all the boxes that I need for an efficient and versatile recipe keeper Their customer service can’t be beat! This App is incredibly versatile in that it allows you to download recipes from many platforms: websites, screen shots, photos of favorites or typing in your recipes, and you can add your own notes. Multiple folders allow you to organize your recipes, and tags allow you to search for ingredients or recipes. Best of all, the developers LISTEN to customer comments and answer questions quickly. Updates actually reflect customer input. I’ve tried several recipe apps and been disappointed, but I’ve used OrganizEat for several years and it has always exceeded my expectations.

My favorite app - well worth the money. Love this app - so easy to use, and easy to upload recipes from the internet or from photos of recipes. Easy and really clear organization - superior over any other app or web-based recipe system I have tried. I also like that there is a place to enter in my own notes re what worked in the recipe and what changes I added. Also, if I have something in my fridge that I want to use up, I can do a quick word search for that ingredient and the app will pull up every recipe I have that uses that ingredient. Also love how my smart phone mirrors the app on my tablet so that when I’m in the grocery store, I can easily pull up a recipe to find the ingredient list without using WiFi (which always seemed to bug out on me in grocery stores when I tried to pull up recipes from web-based content). Also incredibly easy to share recipes with others, including my notes for the recipe, whether they have the app or not. Really love this app!

TO CREATORS: PLEASE ADD THESE FEATURES!. Love this app and use all the time. HOWEVER, CREATORS PLEASE, if your reading this, add an option/ button per ingredient that says you have the ingredient in your pantry already. when I am importing my recipes to my shopping list I end up having salt listed 20 times, pepper 20 times, or eggs 10 times for example. It gets exhausting deleting all the ingredients that I already have in my pantry, so hopefully that feature of adding “already in my pantry” button to my recipe ingredients can fix this! Also please try to add a wider variety of available words in the shopping list, when I type in ingredients to my shopping list so many words go in the “other” category when something as simple as “blueberries” should definitely be in fruit not “other”. It gets pretty frustrating when I go to the store cus not everything is organized per aisle like I would like it to because a lot goes in “other”. Oh also, when using my iPad I can’t share the screen with another app and view another app simultaneously, like I can with others. This is not helpful because I would like to view my iPhone calendar and use your app at the same time while I mean plan! PLEASE consider adding these features, I love your app and use all the time, this is just the 3 things that drive me crazy while using it. Hopefully you can improve these things, I truly believe your app is one of the best, I just think these 3 additional features could help it be AMAZING for all users.

Be clear with what the free version gives you. I am looking for a recipe organization app. I downloaded several and this was the only one I could see where you can take pictures of recipes to store them. I like that because I have a lot of cookbooks and want to manage the recipes I like in the cookbooks. I saw there was a paid version but wanted to try it out first. Free version is very nice, could use adding auto-correct in the recipe name and also ability to add another picture after saving a recipe. But when I go to my 21st recipe I got a notice I needed to pay to store more recipes. You should be clear about that, I didn’t see that anywhere in the app information. Saving only 20 recipes is useless, and the price of the app is way too expensive at $49 for a lifetime license. (I hate subscriptions so would not pay monthly or yearly for something else…) I’ll have to keep searching, too bad because it seems like a nice app! If you lowered the price I bet you’d get more takers.

Cant live with out my cookbook!. Yes, this is my cookbook! I use it for everything. I take pictures of recipes that I like from all my magazines and then throw them away. I use this app for my grocery list as well as finding things to make for the week while I am at the grocery store! Most important...I take pictures of all my old recipes that my late in-laws have written for me by hand and my aunt and grandparents! I can always look up their recipes and see their handwriting in person so I can think about them when making their recipes my family and myself loved! I cannot live without this app. It’s a small price for a whole year that I am so thankful for! I currently have about 250 recipes loaded and am looking forward to loading more and getting rid of some old cookbooks! Thanks for making this app so easy to use!

Love!. Getting rid of all my paper recipes was a big decision. I did quite a bit of analyzing of my wants and needs and reviewing of the available products on the market. OrganizEat came out as the clear winner and I haven’t looked back! I love that you can import recipes from the web, take pictures, share with other users, keep recipes in more than one category, create tags for additional organization (examples: I have a “Thanksgiving” tag for the go-to dishes my family loves; I also a “Mom” tag so I can keep track of which recipes came from my Mom), easily reference a particular recipe on my phone while at the grocery store, access from multiple devices, and keep track of items I plan to prepare “this week.” The developers are constantly tweaking and improving the app based on customer feedback, which I also love. Honestly, I love pretty much everything about this app. I look forward to the day it’s easier to organize and view my tags, but in the meantime, I am grateful EVERY SINGLE DAY for life-changing recipe keeper.

The Good and Bad. It's a wonderful app. I have always wanted my recipes stored where I can just have a quick search or skim over the recipe pictures. There are clever ways the app allows you to put recipes together by style, preference, website etc. The downside is there are still many websites that cannot be saved directly to the app. There is a method the app has which allows you to take pictures of a website, saving the recipe data as it appears; but if your like me you want your information saved in its proper category i.e. ingredients stored in the ingredient part of the recipe, measurements in measurements, notes in the notes; and be able to edit the recipe info to your liking or needs. In order to be able to edit you must type the recipe yourself which requires you to go back and forth between app and website, copying and pasting the info. This is is a tedious and time consuming effort. If I have to save a recipe by this method I sometimes skip saving a recipe altogether, making me loose out on the recipe in the end.

Best recipe app I’ve ever used. As a novice home chef I am always creating new recipes or finding recipes on the internet and changing them up to fit my families specific taste and dietary needs. Finally I found the Organizeats app absolutely had to buy it. The program is so easy to add my own recipes or copy directly from the internet and allow me to change items as I need. I also love how the app lets me choose what recipes I want to cook for the week and add all the ingredients directly to a shopping list. Basically this app lets me enjoy cooking without the aggravation of trying to keep up with recipes. The one time I had a problem with a glitch in the program (the shopping cart would not delete) and I sent in a trouble ticket the company responded immediately saying they would find the problem and have it fixed as soon as possible. Buy the app. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing App for anyone loving new recipes at your fingertips. We love this app. My husband downloaded it and put all our recipes on it. We had printed out copies and had stacks in the caninets, ones we took from magazines and off websites, old handwritten family favorites from years ago!! Now the are saved and organized at right at our fingertips!!! We use it every time we cook and add to it monthly after trying new recipes. We can share with friends we can import directly to from websites. So easy. I can't say enough good things about Organize Eats! If you love to cook and try different recipes and want to save them in an organized way this is your app! It is right at our fingertips! No more searching screen shots. Saved photos texted recipes or emailed. .and so on. Oh did I mention grocery shopping!! Always have my recipes with me and can access my grocery list easily!!! You will be so happy you tried it when you see how it saves you time! Kim and Frank Williams

Great and Easy to Use. If you’re not a genius at figuring out how apps work, this is a good one for you. You don’t need your kids to explain it. It’s easy, user friendly, well organized, and smart. It’s simple to download recipes you find on the internet without re-typing, and you can easily save them in pre-selected categories or you can create your own. The days of collecting recipes in those index card boxes, or notebooks are gone. It’s so easy to use and I like that you can attach your own photos of meals you’ve prepared or you can download photos attached to the recipe so you can easily recall what the dish looks like, and if you’ve forgotten the name of a recipe you can find it from the picture you took. And if you can’t figure out how to use it, you can always ask your kids! It’s worth it because using this app has helped me with grocery lists and the brain numbing task of figuring out what to make for dinner. I use this app a lot and highly recommend it!

Intuitive - Easy to Use - Great for my 50+ Generation. This is a great app that does exactly what it says with a very simple to navigate interface that never leaves me frustrated wondering how to do something. It does a perfect job of importing recipes and I love that you can browse recipes from the app and then save them directly into the app with no typing. It’s also very easy to modify the recipes once they’re in and I like that you can easily put the same recipe into multiple categories like meat in general and slow cooker specifically... and my wife doesn’t like this one also! :) Having the notes feature right above the ingredients is super handy to highlight things that I don’t want to forget when making something again. If I could ask for anything, it would be even more websites to import from, but I don’t know how you’ll ever keep up with that! Thanks for a great app!!!

Greatest App!. I was getting very tired of always trying to remember which recipe box had which recipe, so I decided to check for an app. Read the reviews on a number of apps and decided this one sounded the best. Quickly found it was for me. After using the free version and quickly getting to my limit, I purchased the next step up (not one for taking a lot of pictures of what I cook😏). I like the idea that now my favorite recipes are mobile with me so when we go back home to visit I can actually contribute to the meals!! I also thought this was so great I told my little sister about it as she and her husband are the "chefs" of the family!! I hope she likes it as much as I do. The only thing I would like to see added/changed are the icons you can use when adding/changing categories. There needs to be more of them and you should be able to change the ones they have already set up if you want them to be a little different!!

A life saver!. I have been using the app for some time now, mostly to write out what meals ill be making daily for dinner and the groceries I will need. One feature I dont use often (though I should) yet still very appreciate is the recipe keeper. You can link a recipe or type up your own, then categorize the meal and meal type in neat little folders where you can always come back to it. For someone as unorganized and forgetful as me, this app helps to keep me less stressed about what should be my favorite part of the day, dinner, after a long day of work. Maybe you’re not a fan of writing your recipes down in a book? thats cool, type it up real quick instead. maybe you don’t wanna type it again? okay, copy and paste it. Still too much work? Link your fave e-recipe, so you can close all those tabs open in your browser with all your recent recipe discoveries. It’s just so simple to have a collection of your favorite recipes ready at your fingertips!

Recommend for keeping recipes organized. My sister shared OrganizEat with me and it has been helpful in keeping my recipes organized. Once I find a good recipe, then I usually like to keep it handy to rotate when I meal plan each week. There are plenty of categories and it’s fairly easy to import a recipe from a browser too. It will do it automatically by only including the portion sizes and steps (not all the other boring blog notes, pictures, etc that is often included in recipe articles). I also like that the device screen while in the app doesn’t fade out and my phone doesn’t lock when you’re following along with a recipe - super handy feature! My only con of the app is sometimes this auto transfer from browser to app doesn’t work seamlessly but they give you an option to screenshot snip images of the recipes as a back up option. My request with this back up option would be to allow more snip images as I think it maxes out at 3-4 images which sometimes isn’t enough. Other than that recommend this app if you want a quick easy way to organize and reference your favorite recipes!

I Love This App. I’m really picky about apps, so I was thrilled to find this one. It is very nice to look at. There are cute little icons (that you can use any way you want) to create custom categories for your recipes, and you can add a given recipe to as many categories as you like, so if you have overlapping ones you’re not forced to have it under only one section. You can put pictures for each recipe, which I love, being very visual. It has everything you need without being too busy/overwhelming. It’s cool that you can even choose a color scheme for the app, so if you love/hate a certain look you can have control over what you look at. And I LOVE that it syncs across devices so you can check and edit recipes on whatever machine you happen to be using. I wish the web version was free to use, or at least had a one time purchase price, but I understand that websites cost money to maintain. I wouldn’t mind paying a one time fee (even if it was a little high) for permanent access. I just don’t like ongoing bills. That has nothing to do with how awesome the app is though. It’s fantastic. I bought the lifetime subscription for the phone app version and am very pleased with it. And Rachel, if you’re reading this as you say you do, it would be sweet if you could add a mint/Seafoam color theme to the app. That’s my favorite. ;)

Tired of this. I liked when the app was a one time purchase but they’ve moved onto a subscription. I’m not sure why a bunch of greedy developers like to pretend they’re smarter than people, especially people like myself with extensive coding experience and pretending they’re offering a service, they aren’t. A service provides ongoing development, I pay a subscription to Netflix, they provide constant new unique content. A recipe app is a utility, you provide an aggregator and basic database. I’ll even be generous and accuse them of basic incompetence instead of willful greed. A recipe is a very small data size, even if you include images. Even if they’re storing all their users recipes on a cloud based sync storage, 5tb of data per month with an extremely high 10,000 calls for information would cover over 500,000 recipes saved on cloud storage all for less than $50 a month. They’re robbing each and every grandma using their product to save a cookie recipe for their kids just because they don’t know better technologically. I think I’ll just go buy paprika for $5 instead, they aren’t hustlers.

So far so good!. I haven’t paid for the full version of this app yet but I’m trying it out to see if it will work for me. So far, it’s working really well and I’ve even been able to organize all those annoying screenshots I’ve taken of random recipes on the web! I’m looking forward to having a way to share my fave recipes with others easily also. I love meal planning but I struggle every week with having a good system. I like that I can schedule out my recipes right here in the app. There’s also a section where you can see recipes that other app users have imported, and get more inspiration for your own meals! I work for a tech company and see that there are a number of reviews saying the app didn’t update properly - to those folks I would say, hang in there! Tech is glitchy, no matter how amazing your team is. The developer of this app seems invested in making things right, so have patience and hopefully all the glitches will be sorted out!

Never leave home without your recipe book!. I love Organizeats for many reasons, but primarily for its portability. I have the app on both my phone and iPad, so no matter where I go I have my recipes with me. We have a lakehouse 3 hours away from our home, and frequently the recipe I needed was in the other location. Duplicating 50 years of recipes was not practical. Now I just open the app on my phone. The recipes were so easy to enter. I just took a picture of the recipe and copied it to the Organizeats app Even when I travel to visit my son in N.C. or my daughter in the U.K. I have all my recipes with me. Also when I spot an enticing recipe in a magazine, I just snap a picture and enter it in the app. So easy! I am over 70 and certainly not tech savvy, but this app is incredibly easy to use. You can even store the same recipe under different headings. You can create your own headings or use provided ones. I love having all my standard Christmas recipes together as well as ones for Thanksgiving and Easter. After hearing me rave about this app, my daughter got it and she loves it too especially when traveling & staying in an Airbnb. I could go on and on , but I think you get the picture. I love Organizeats and wouldn’t change a thing!

Best Recipe Organizing App Ever!. I love this app! It does everything I want and more. I originally found this app because I was frustrated with other apps out there for organizing my recipes and was on the verge of creating my own app to meet all my needs like meal planning, saving recipes off the internet, uploading my own recipes, adding pictures, search features, etc. That’s when I discovered OrganizEat and am so happy I did! Used it for a day or two, saw the value of it, purchased it outright and never looked back. Just tonight my husband asked me about a family recipe he needs for dinner and it’s right at my fingertips. I especially love the import feature for recipes I find on the web. No more one time use recipes that I find once and never find again. Family member texts me a recipe? No problem! I add it in and never have to ask for it a second time or dig through old texts to find it. I am building up quite a collection of my favorites and new recipes I’d like to try. Get this app! You won’t regret it! 😄

Foodie Love I can share with my adult children. I love this app! I love how I can add recipes by taking a photo of my grandmother’s holiday spice cookie recipe or by automatically uploading a new recipe I found in the latest issue of Food and Wine. I can add notes, search words, my own photos, scale up or down, and highlight favorites. I can even edit my pictures by cropping or fixing lighting etc. Meal planning, shopping and prep is easier because my recipes are always with me (tablet, phone) - at the grocery store, visiting my mom, everywhere. My children used to call for favorite recipes - now they check my OrganizEat collection first. If it’s not yet there, it’s super easy to upload…and then add a picture of our successful dinner project. I can share recipes super easily. I am constantly adding recipes and giving away cookbooks that take up space I don’t have. I find OrganizEat an indispensable tool. I’m so glad I purchased the full version and invested the time (and continue to do so) to make this a one-stop recipe gallery. I highly recommend OrganizEat to anyone who cooks, especially for folks who want to organize their recipe collection into one simple to use visually appealing, digital database.

Excellent recipe app. Update: I LOVE this app and have now upgraded to 5 stars because I can now save recipes to multiple categories! I’ve been using this app for the better part of a year and am pretty happy with it. I like the versatility of entering recipes - by taking a photo of an old recipe card, or by linking to a food/recipe site, or by typing in. Also like that I can personalize it with food photos, can add notes, and that there is a setting to keep my iPad from going black while I keep the recipe up on my counter for as long as I need. I love that it syncs with my iPhone, so I can check my recipes while shopping, and can share recipes quickly with friends. My only complaint is that recipes can’t be put in more than one category. I realize that you can add multiple tags to help search for a recipe, but would like to be able, for example, to put my curry chicken recipe in both my chicken and slow cooker categories.

If you like to cook and collect recipes get this app. When you are serious about cooking, you collect plenty of recipes from many sources. OrganizEat is a well thought-out tool that let us get our recipes organized and it gets used everyday at our house. We had hundreds of printed recipes that we scanned and uploaded into the program over a few hours. This is sort of a brute force approach, but we had computer print outs, hand written notes, index cards and random scraps of paper that we are now able to find quickly. There are better ways to get recipes into OrganizEat that we also use, you can import recipes directly from many sites like Serious Eats, Bon Appétit, New Your Times and others. Other sites that are not directly supported by the app can be used by snapping pictures within the app. Of course you can also type your recipes and add photos too. The developers are working to add other ways to import and additional features to the app, I had contacted them with a question and they were very responsive and open to future improvements. This is not the cheapest app out there, but you get what you are paying for.

Perfect Everything Food App. I knew what I wanted but couldn’t find it… until now. I have recipes everywhere! In my email, on the web bookmarked, family hand written scribbling recipes, new books, old books, you name it I’ve got them everywhere. Not only do I have all these recipes but I have pictures, and ideas for my own recipes. On top of that I really want to be able to put these recipes into a weekly menu. This app does all of that and more with beauty and style. I’ve only been playing with it for 30 minutes and I’m hooked. I’ve been thinking about different meal plans offered on different websites but the problem with that is you’re only getting the recipes from that site. this gives me everything I’ve been looking for. I’m off to subscribe for the mobile and PC subscription and I never do that. This is totally worth it, no doubt. Thank you so much for this app.

Next level app design. Period.. This is 100% the only meal app you need. I promise you I am not paid for this review, it seriously has just made me be able to step up to plate and make all the meals for daughter and pregnant wife. Find a recipe you like online? Boom you have it as quickly as clicking the share button. Pull it up in the app along with other meals and you are making that week and you have an organized grocery list by aisle and quantity. Even if you are at a loss for what you want for dinner, click on the inspirations tab and now you see what everyone else is making. This app truly is a one stop shop for meals and meal prepping; saved on a cloud server that you can always get to from any device. Even if that’s not your thing, you can export via pdf. Seriously the amount of time and consideration put into this app is on another level. Well done development team!

Wish l had this app years ago!. It is a true time save for folks like me who have a lot of great recipes from many sources and LOVE to cook a wide variety of cuisines. I love the versatility of being able to take a photo (preserving the original especially the hand written ones from family and loved ones) or download from internet. Downloading is especially easy because it gives you instant access to the top recipe sites and immediate import! Take photos of your creations and add them to the recipe profile. Tag for cross referencing or identifying the source. I use tags like “kid favorite”. “Potluck” “health conscious”. Gluten free” or even specific ingredients. I rarely write reviews, but this time around I am doing it. You can easily share your recipes with friends too. Try this app - you have nothing to lose and you will be SO glad you did. I have spent so many wasted hours picking through my recipe collections hunting for recipes. I’ve tried binders with tabs, computer files and with limited satisfaction. This app takes cooking into the 21st century. So grateful to have found it….actually my 10 year old found it for me. I guess all those countless hours on the devices has some benefits.

Amazing app!. I was looking for a simple to use app where I could store & organize all of the recipes I have tried & love from Pinterest. I am amazed with this app! Not only can you organize & make albums as you’d like, but you can also add pictures which I love. As if that wasn’t enough, you can click on the recipe you’d like to make & have all the ingredients added to a shopping cart so that you know exactly what you need to buy! No more typing out ingredients for a shopping list. You can also add recipes to your calendar, so the app also acts as a meal planner!! I’m currently using the free version, but the full version is only $12 for an entire year (if using just for your mobile phone) that’s only $1 per month. I highly recommend this app if you are like me who loves to bake & cook & has one too many recipes to print or write out. Saving recipes on Pinterest is nice, but having to scroll through to finally get the recipe is an inconvenience when trying to cook quickly. This app saves you that time! Very happy I came across this app :)

This app brilliant!. The first time OrganizEat automatically inputed a receipe from my favorite cooking blog, it was definitely, OMG, this is brilliant! There is so much.. junk on the blogs webpage, but when it pops into OrganizEat; BOOM everything is pared down to Ingredients and and numbered step-by-step recipe Directions. It makes it so EASY to use my favorite recipes when everything is on one screen, and I don’t have to scroll endlessly through a website to even find the recipe’s Directions. Seriously, this is some hi-tech stuff that makes complicated into easy in one click. I can’t say enough about how much I love this app. I literally have started cooking and baking more and new recipes because I know I will be successful if I can get the receipe off the internet and into OrganizEat. I set my iPad up in the Kitchen and I feel like a Pro. (Disclaimer: I’m not a Pro, but I feel like a Pro!) Huge 5-Star kudos to my favorite app.

So Easy To Organize All Your Recipes!. I had been looking for a while for a way to get all my hand written recipes in electronic format, when I found this app. I was just about to purchase one of those scanners with the software to do it. I’m glad I saved all that money!! I had over 80 hand written recipes, and I was able to add them in a very short time! I just took a picture, named it, put in keywords I wanted to use to find it easy, and then put it under the right category. This app lets you take more than one picture of a recipe, so if you want the recipe, then a picture of what it looks like you can do that. I had a lot of recipes my Mom wrote out. She is gone now, but I still have her recipe in electronic format in her handwriting, which meant a lot to me. You can also type out a whole recipe if you want, and it will link to recipes in other websites, etc, although I have not used that feature. It is also super easy to share a recipe with someone by email or text. So next time you take something to a potluck and people want the recipe, just share it with them - then I usually recommend this app to them too! I use this app on my phone and my iPad, so you can do that too - just go into it. Try this app!! You cannot go wrong. You can try it for free and do a few recipes to see how easy and wonderful it is, then if you like it buy it. It is worth it!! I recommend this all the time to friends and family.

The Absolute Best. I have been enjoying this app for several years. It is by far, the most user-friendly intuitive app I have ever worked with. I am a senior and I’ve had no problem using this app. If you are like I was, you have 100 scraps of paper with recipes or magazine pages torn out folded up and stuck in a box. So hard to find exactly that recipe you want when you want it. Snapping a picture of each only took a few minutes. And now I have a fabulously organized recipe file! And I’ve added many recipes from my favorite websites and many friends. I find an image online of the recipe I am capturing to use as the Cover. My file looks awesome and so organized! So easy now when I am away from my home, visiting my grandchildren or my elderly mother, to share the recipe with them or to make a delicious meal for them. You can make your meal plans for the week and generate a shopping list. With a click of the ✔️ icon you have added the recipe to your weekly plan. Saves so much time! I could not be more delighted that I found OrganizEats App and I will be a member for many years to come. I absolutely ❤️ this app!

Hoping for.... I really love this app. I am so glad I bought it when it wasn’t $25 or I’d be missing out on this awesomeness!! My only (well I have 3) hope/s would be that you guys made a computer version that I could upload recipes to from the computer. I hate browsing on my computer to find lots of things I want to save but can’t unless I text the site to myself and then go to my phone or iPad. I want to just be able to log in and add to from my computer. I also hope you guys are working on adding more places that you will accept recipes from but love that I can add them if it doesn’t automatically upload. I’d love the feature “copy me that” has that I can automatically upload from the actual site. The 3 times I’ve tried it tells me it’s not supported ...leading me to one final request. Recipes are starting to become longer now when they add a “how to change it to cook it in the ....(instant pot, crockpot..)” making the recipe longer than a 3 photo shot option. I need the chance to screenshot the whole recipe and sometimes 3 just isn’t enough. I’d like to see up to 10 if possible. Thanks!!

Answer to lots of needs!. Like most people who are, ahem, an interesting age, I had recipes everywhere. And using the internet to find even more is not only fun, but useful when I go in a new direction. But where to keep them all...and along came this app! I can categorize and edit but here are the best things: I can re-title to help me remember something special or to group things like bread machine recipes at a glance; I can reduce recipes to 1/2 or even 1/4; and best of all, I can write notes to myself about the results so that I don’t try something again or I can make it better next time. I’ve added several of my mother’s favorites (without the buttered finger stains or with—take your pick!), and I don’t need to dump the whole box to find that one elusive card. Only one wish: I wish I’d had this many years ago...my collection would be awesome! Thanks for such a great app!

I finally paid for an app! 😂. This app is wonderful! For years, I looked for YEARS for an app that would store my recipes from everywhere…my paper ones, online, books, etc. This app is so easy to use and my recipes look great and organized! The best part? I can import recipes from my favorite sites with a click, and they are perfectly organized!!! This is a FANTASTIC feature!!! And, I can share my recipes with my son, who is such a foodie! If you need to edit or put notes on a recipe, it is SO easy! I NEVER pay for apps. At first, it was a tough decision. I mean, if you are actually going to pay for an app, the lifetime is really the only way to go. So after adding my maximum recipes, I had to make that decision. I bought the app the next day. I don’t think I could live without this app now. Thank you to the developers of OrganizEat. I truly LOVE your app! One feature I would love is if you could make the recipe bigger by pinching it out. Seeing as I plan to use this app for the next 50 years…there’s time!

Versatile, easy to use. My wife asked for ‘some kind of app’ to organize her recipes as a Christmas gift. After being lost in the techno babble of several competing apps, I used this free version of Organizeat to explore its functionality and found it to be incredibly intuitive and flexible. From simply photographing an existing recipe (and type in a title), to typing the recipe in its entirety, this app functions effortlessly. Additionally, several methods make downloading recipes from websites a breeze. I’ve loaded recipes using each tool and it’s a breeze! Automatic shopping lists, name your own folders, various simple sorts, everything short and simple. This free version limits the number of recipes and photos but is an excellent means to learn the app’s capabilities. I’ve ordered the expanded version for my wife using the gift feature on the app store. Automatic delivery on Christmas day! This too, by the way, with the help of the developer’s very responsive customer service folks. Give it a try, you’ll love it!!

Amazing app I found so far. So I’ve been struggling for years trying to get my meal plans figured out. And I’m a emotional eater so I’ll lidget eat an entire buffet. I had learned that if I plan I tend to do a better job eating. But that was an issue. I can’t write it down on paper or anything else because it’ll just get lost or erased. And the apps I had found over the years didn’t offer all I’ve been looking for it was either just recipes and ordering food through them but it was way too expensive for someone that only makes close to minimum wage. Then there’s that plans meals but you can’t store recipes and yet again too expensive. Not only this app allows you to store recipes you can also plan ahead. You can also organize your recipes which is really going to help me out with because I’m borderline diabetic and already facing permanent problems. They haven’t diagnosed me but they continuously testing me for type 2 but keeps coming back negative but my body is still suffering from it. This app will make it far easier to control my food intake. I do wish that it had an option for push notifications reminding me about the meal plan for the day. Unless I missed it.

App is great, sales model not so much. I've had the free version of the app for a few weeks and have had great success with it. But when I considered buying the $20 full version versus the $4 yearly subscription, the subscription clearly seemed like the way to go, since there aren't many apps I can say I've used for at least 5 years. But you can only buy the $20 version through the App Store; the $4 version you buy through the app by putting in your iTunes password. That's basically like me saying, "I'll give you $16 in exchange for a password linked to your credit card!" Nice app and all, but I don't trust you that much! So do everyone a solid and make the subscription available for purchase through iTunes, mmkay? Other than that, love the app. My only suggested changes would be to let you record when you've made a recipe and give it reviews so you can remember how much you liked it/if you would change anything the next time you made it. (Of course you could type that into the Notes field but an actual rating system would be better.)

Excellent. I have been using this app for some time now. This app is really useful. You can scan photos or type in recipes. Equally useful, the app imports recipes from online sources. Commonly, while waiting for some mundane event to occur, I think about cooking a meal. I search recipes for a given dish online and find one I like. You can do this with the app or just with google. When I find a recipe with google. I paste the web address into Recipe Keeper and the app imports the recipe. I have done this from many sites and it has always worked. In the app, imported recipes are displayed in an organized fashion so that the recipe can be accessed easily. After loading a recipe to my phone, which is where I often search, the imported recipe is synced from my phone to my iPad. I like to use my iPad to follow the recipe. So far this app has been flawless. I would highly recommend it.

Best one I’ve found. I relentlessly save recipes - it’s a habit I can’t break - and organizing them has been so exhausting- copying them down, trying to make a file system, deciding between the ‘chicken’ folder or the ‘casserole’ folder, etc. This app has such a wonderful, helpful solution. I was very very reluctant to spend $40 on it, and now I feel it’s worth twice that amount!! It makes it so easy to cut and paste, or copy, or add a picture, or just start typing. It imports from a lot of different sites - which is hugely convenient. Correcting and editing works really well, too. I never get any nasty messages- like you’re running out of space or you need to upgrade, etc. Since I can ‘file’ recipes in several different folders, it helps with those decisions too. In short, I just can’t live without it. If I could add some features: I’d like to ‘cancel last action’ (when I delete by mistake), and maybe add some measurements automatically - like ‘teaspoons,’ ‘cups,’ and so. And maybe add some more icons to use for category fields. Also, maybe improve the editing feature - it brings up the fields you want to edit in an awkward configuration. Bottom line - best recipe app I’ve ever found!

Easy peasy!. I take online cooking classes and the recipes come by email in word doc format. I have purchased two apps, neither of which allowed me to copy and paste these recipes. I needed something easy that would allow me to organize these recipes in one place and categorize them for easy retrieval. I saw a review for OrganizEat and really liked the way you could just snap a pic and file it without having to type it all in. So I downloaded the trial app and I was sold. I’ll be purchasing the app today! Not only can I organize my class recipes but I can save family hand written recipes in their original form! Grandma’s pickle recipe is the best but starting to fade and this app allows me to save it in her handwriting! I am so pleased and thankful for this wonderful app! It is going to save me countless hours of manually transcribing recipes! The developer of this app thought of everything. From what I have read, the follow up customer service is outstanding. Worth every penny!

Awesome Organizer!!. I really enjoy the functionality of OrganizeEats. I think it’s very simple to use. I love that you can add your own recipe and then once it’s saved it’s automatically formatted so you can easily read the recipe. I can also send my recipes to friends and family and it uploads perfectly. It’s really cool that you can upload any recipe from a website onto the app and it all comes formatted. I can easily set up weekly meal plans and from there choose what ingredients I need to add to a shopping list. So that makes it easy for me when I’m grocery shopping. I can literally go on and on about how awesome this app is. They thought of me and everything through. Another cool feature is it can randomly select recipes for your weekly meal plan. I really appreciate that they allowed me to use the app and save 20 recipes before making my decision without saving my credit card information. It’s definitely worth getting the full version. Thanks

Finally a place for all my recipes !!!. I love this app. So easy to use and not glitchy like some others. Finally I can store all my families favourite recipes and easily reference them when putting together my shopping list for the week. I’ve been trying to do this myself for years using photos of recipes and it has not been easy at all. Very easy to search too, unlike other apps. Great app, highly recommend !

My Favourite App. If you're always screen-shotting recipes or cutting them from magazines and you have recipes everywhere then this is the app for you. It's well worth paying the extra to get a subscription to store and organise hundreds of recipes and never lose them again. I've tried a few different recipe apps and found this one has everything I need. Love being able to quickly look up a recipe on my phone when buying groceries. Great and immediate help via email too. Fantastic app!!

Fantastic app. I have been looking for an app to keep all my recipes from the web. I am so glad I found this app! The best part of it is that the app can extract recipe straight from 99% of the websites. And you get to use photos from the web or your own personal photo. The app is easy to use, and can sync across my laptop and phone. The great things just keep going and going. Do yourself a favor, and give it a go! I am extremely happy with it, most importantly, it is completely free!!

OrganizEat = Organised Me. I have been using this App for a few years... I love it! I work full time & have three teenage children, OrganizEat assists me by storing my favourite recipes & when shopping, if I’m not sure of required ingredients, I am able to check the ingredients in the recipes stored in OrganizEat. I initially trialled the free version but was quickly converted to the paid version.... this App is a great way of storing my favourite recipes which are always at my fingertips whether I’m home or away! Do yourself a favour......

Best recipe app I’ve ever had!!!!. This app is great...I ended up buying the annual subscription which is cheap as! I love how I can upload from the internet and categorise the recipes. The shopping trolley function is fantastic as I can add from the recipes or add my own. Also has the function where I can select recipes for the week and access them quickly. Also, love the add folder function. I love the outlay as well, very easy to use. I use this app daily and highly recommend it, they have a free version which allows 40 recipes but I’m up to 100’s now. love this app!!!

Great recipe organiser.. Just what I was after. So easy to input a new recipe. great search function to find the recipe your after but also just as easy to scroll through if you just want to browse your recipes like a recipe book. Such a great way to store all your favourite recipes- i no longer have all these extra tabs open in my browser of recipes, bits of paper on my bench that I’ve scrawled on, and got rid of my recipe books that I would just use one or two recipes from out of the whole book. I’m not a big app user but so glad I paid for this one!

So easy to use. I’ve tried out many apps over the past few years and this one is by far the simplest and quickest to use. I’ve got rid of hundreds of random recipes on bits of paper just by taking some quick photos. I’d had some of these for years and now they are all in my phone in a handy searchable format I can look up while I’m walking around the supermarket. What makes it even better is the fabulous customer service from a company that really cares about what it’s users want. Can’t recommend them enough!

Review. I have just started. The app was recommended to me by a friend whose opinion I respect. So far it has been easy and I’m excited. Have tidied up my scraps of paper and I am looking forward to collecting lots more in the folders. I even found creating my own folders easy. I am keen to recommend the app to friends of mine too. I am an old girl over 70, but it is all very easy. Thank you.

Couldn’t be happier!. After using another paid recipe app for several years and losing my entire collection of recipes, I went looking for a more reliable, and functional app and this one ticked all the boxes for me. I love that you can take screenshots from websites, snap pics from my favourite recipe books, type in recipes and import recipes from many websites. It really does do it all. And on top of this, it is beautifully presented and just makes me feel happy when doing my meal planning. I love the folder options, ability to tag recipes and ease of searching through saved recipes. I don’t often like paying for apps, but after using the free trial version I quickly realised this was well worth it, so signed up for the lifetime membership. The video demonstrations for the various features are so helpful, and the customer service is excellent. I had a question about how to do something within the app, and the app developer got back to me personally with a detailed explanation of what to do. I really can’t speak more highly of this app and happy to support this small business that is obviously so passionate about what they do!! After following their page on Facebook I also got some further insight into what this app is all about and the people behind it. It’s well and truly my favourite and most used app on my phone and iPad. If you’re wondering if it’s worth the subscription, I say YES! Do it!! I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do!

Fantastic App. I’ve been using OrganizEat for over a year now & it’s made life in the kitchen so much easier. Don’t know how I ever did without it! I can import recipes from a huge range of publications, take photos or write my own. If ever I’m stuck for what to cook, I just fire up the app & browse the categories. So much more convenient than books and bits of paper!

Handy. Very handy app. I can be at the supermarket and decide to cook one of my recepies, and I have a list of everything I need on hand. So I can get home and prepare it knowing that I have ALL of the ingredients that I need. It also means I don't have all these loose recepies that I have torn out of magazines just cluttering up my pantry Brilliant! It just needs a share with other users function so I can share and receive recepies from friends

Recipes on the go!. Love that I can have all my recipes in one searchable location & be able to access them without prior planning via my mobile when at the supermarket. I also really love how easy it is to add the ingredients of whatever recipe I want to cook to a shopping list and cross them off the list as I go. It also has great meal planning functionality. And the import from website feature is very handy when it works. I only have 1 minor complaint/wish list item - I’d like to be able to group ingredients (so I can group dressing or wet/dry ingredients etc).

LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. I’ve been using this for over a year now & love it. I have added hundreds of recipes, have personalised it to my liking & use it every single week when I do my menu plan. There are so many different ways to add recipes & it is so easy to add them to your weekly menu as well as create a grocery list. I love the simple-ness of the app. I often find that some apps have so many options that I get overwhelmed & never end up using them. I have never had any problems with the app or renewing my subscription.

Something I have been looking for.... I have tried many recipe managers and most of them are quite good but lack in something major such as layout, looks, ease of use etc. I tried this app and viola! from the start I was feeling very happy with it. Easy to navigate, the layout is simple (which it should be) and the extras such as photo recipe and web tagging of recipes are absolutely great. Yes, there are times, and not all that often, a website is not compatible but that is not the app’s fault and it always provides a backup bookmark option for later reference anyway. Only other *very minor* comment would be more skins but that won’t affect my rating of the app. After about an hour of use I was so impressed that I purchased an annual subscription to the app (for less than $1 per month).

Very practical app. I found this app very practical in term of organising the recipes and indexing them. Also it allows you to choose the source of your recipes; you can add your recipe in you own words and photos or you can add the link from where you got the recipe, hence you can access it directly without putting any efforts in rewriting it. Appreciate the creator effort and so much thought put into this. Thanks and regards

Everyone needs this app!!!!. I’ve been using OrganizEat for about 5 years both personally & professionally & I love it! I work as a House Manager which includes me having to cook for a family of 5, 5 nights a week. All of the families favourite meals and my favs too...are kept on the app. When I’m doing my weekly meal planning it’s so easy, no looking through cookbooks trying to find that recipe!!! My favourite thing....is if you change your mind about what you feel like eating when you’re shopping, it’s so easy to check for ingredients...I use this more then any other app...you’ve just got to try it!!! Mel Melbourne Australia.

Best way to organise and find your recipes. I have never been very organised and have men known to sit on the floor surrounded by folders, cookbooks and magazines looking for a particular recipe for hours and hours. Then, to my delight I found this app for OrganizEat. I think I have been a member for 3 years, maybe a little longer. I love ❤️❤️ it. So easy to save, use, share and create recipes. Best site ever for recipe keeping and so easy to customise to my needs. I am 70 in a couple of months and cook for six almost daily so I need all the help I can get. Thankyou OrganizEat for one of the best websites ever designed.

Great App. I use this app regularly to store all the recipes I might one day want to cook (of course most don’t actually get cooked but this app certainly saves on paper and storage). Some sites don’t upload into OrganizEat but you can get around that by taking a screenshot and uploading the recipe in question. Especially like the grocery list compilation function.

This App is perfect for me. I had been looking for a suitable App or program or data base to gather together all my favourite recipes for many years. None even came close to what I was looking for... until I found OrganizEat. I have now been able gather together all the recipes that I had filed away on scraps of paper, torn out of magazines, bookmarked in web browsers and tagged in recipe books. They are now mostly filed away in OrganizEat. I say mostly, as I am constantly adding to my collection. As well as recipes for meals, I have also gathered all my Jam and Chutney recipes as well as a good collection of Cocktails. 🍸 It is great that I can make notes on the data base to remind myself of how the recipe turned out, whether I substituted any ingredients or suggestions for next time I make a dish. I have been using the App for a few years. It was very good when I started and it continues to improve. Particularly in its ability to import recipes from web sites. It is amazing how easy that is now. I love OrganizEat and can not recommend it too highly. It is well worth the modest subscription.

Love this app!! ☺️. Excellent app, really useful. It’s my mobile recipe book. Especially good when you’re getting groceries and need ideas for dinner. Some feedback: If one adds a food photo first up it doesn’t display as the main recipe photo, (the cover). You’ve got to reopen the app, edit and click ‘cover’. Be great if you could get around this. Also, I have a paid account and can only add 3 images. Is it possible to add more?

Only good for putting in recipes. You can’t use the menu planning function it’s almost useless. Spent hours putting my recipes in to see you have to click a specific date from a calendar and add a meal, you can’t see your weekly plan or have anything in front of you, rather you have to go searching through the calendar. Reply - sure you can see what meals you’ve shortlisted. That’s NOT a menu plan. There’s no option to see monday breakfast lunch dinner are x y z Tuesday x y z etc etc. you need a weekly option not just a calendar that doesn’t even show your meals unless you go into each specific day

Simple and great app. I tried a few other recipe apps before settling on this one. The clincher was the ability to save recipes from photos and add key search words. I had a huge collection of recipe magazines and I have now saved all of the recipes that I wanted to keep in this app (I have 700+ recipes, divided up in folders, that I can easily search for using words I have selected myself - eg super quick, BBQ, school lunches, etc). Regardless of where I am, I can access my entire recipe collection on my phone (if I’m shopping, I can check a recipe for ingredients). Quite simply, I love it.

A best recipe app ever. This app is the best. I have been reorganizing and moving recipes from my many old recipe notebooks into this fantastic app. It is so easy to use and allows you to edit everything, to move recipes into folders and add photos of each recipe as well. Importing new recipes from different recipe sites is so easy and there are so many sites to choose from. This app will not disappoint

Excellent!. I usually use and adapt recipes that I find online. In the past it was really annoying trying to organise them. This app really makes the whole process so much faster, easier and more efficient. I like that for most sites, I can just click a download using this app and it automatically just pick out the recipe from within a blog post and lays it out in a very beautiful and easy to read format. With sites that don’t support this app, you can still bookmark it and have the bookmarks collected in one easy location within the app. Love it!

Brilliant!. I’ve been looking for an app to keep all my hand written recipes and this is it! A lot of other apps have the ability to save recipes from web sites but not save screen shots and old family recipes. OrganizEat does it all. I tried the free version for the first 20 recipes and was so happy with its ease and functionality that I have taken out a subscription, and it’s worth every cent. I can now throw out old paper recipes and recipe book that I’ve kept for only a hand full of favourite recipes. Can’t recommend it highly enough!!

Finally!. Finally a great app to upload & store all of my favorite recipes. Over the years, after collecting & accumulating many recipes, I found myself forgetting where a particular recipe was....in a recipe book, on a cut out, hand written, saved to my photos etc. Now they are all in one place. This app is extremely efficient and streamlined. I never usually pay for apps but this is definitely worth every cent.

Super easy to add your own recipes and check out new ones!. This app makes it really easy to sort and organise my recipes. I love that you can photograph your hand written recipes and add them and it’s really easy to save recipes from the web too. Creating an online database of your recipes can feel overwhelming but it’s really user friendly ( I am a bit of an internet / app novice ) I’m not being bugged by pop ups and it’s really clearly laid out. Would recommend to anyone wanting to bring order to their recipe collection!

Fantastic organising app. I love this app. It’s so easy to use and is so useful for storing all of my recipes no matter whether they are in a book, from online or passed down through friends and family. It’s even useful for helping me decide on dinner ideas by searching by ingredients. I would highly recommend this app to anyone who loves to be organised

Great App. Love it, all my recipes in one spot, I can load them automatically from a website, or take photos of my handwritten recipes. I now have my recipes with me no matter where I am. I can organise them how I want and look at them on multiple devices. I have been using it for several years and no longer have to wonder where that recipe is that I used to make!!

Fab cookbook. I am an avid cook, and had 100's of cook books, when we sold up and downsized I needed to reduce my collection. So started looking for some way of keeping my prized recipes. Tried several apps, then found this one. Just used the trial first and then upgraded. This app is so easy to use, to sort, to add new recipes (especially using the photo option my favorite) easy to change the folders as to meet my requirements. Found this to be exactly what I needed. thankyou

Well Deserved Five Stars. This app is brilliant, you get what you pay for. It easily saves recipes without me needed to type a thing, all I need to do is save it to its category. Worth the year subscription and I don’t usually like paying for subscriptions unless it’s an app I will actually use all the time. This is one. I’m just happy I have stopped my search looking for a decent app to store my favourite recipes in. Thank you to the app developers, well done! Five stars from me! Keep up the great work!

Excellent app!. OrganizEat allows me to have my favourite recipes at my fingertips whenever I need them, whether it be whilst we’re travelling with our caravan, in the supermarket buying items for dinner or if I’m just having a baking day at home. It is easy to use and I can add or adapt categories to suit myself. The best part though is that this app is updated regularly, based on what its users request, so it just keeps on getting better. If you want to rid yourself of excess cookbooks in your home and only keep the recipes you use the most, then get this app and make the change - you will be delighted!

Best recipe app ever. I’ve used several but nothing beats this one, hands down. Find a recipe you like? Paste the link into this app and it downloads it for you! Have old family recipes you want to save? Type them into this app, including a photo if you like, and it’s saved for ever. So many different categories you can save things under for easy organisation. Great shopping list and meal planner functions. The screen never goes off while you’re cooking, so you don’t need to try to open it constantly when you turn your back to do something. And many more features. I just LOVE this app.

Organizeat - So Helpful!. I have used this app for a couple of years and found it so user friendly. It’s so easy to save online recipes automatically, plus any hard copies of recipes then being able to make all of my notes around it means this it makes cooking meals so much more efficient. I rely on this app at least 4 times a week!

Does everything perfectly. I am very, very happy with this app. I was anxious about the time, money and functionality of moving from paper recipe books to an app. However it has been Worth the money and time. My kids are soon to leave home, and I plan to gift them the app so I can share all our family recipes. Easy! Also, I like being able to easily share recipes with friends who don’t have the app yet, but loved something I made. The PDF the app shares looks really professional. Very happy customer.

Incredible!!. Remember those printed women’s day recipe cards that your Mum used to have? And that you’d use every now and then to make Anzac biscuits? Well this is like a super enhanced digital version of that! It’s awesome. You can save all your favourite recipes on here without needing to type them out (mostly). So say you find a great recipe and instead of trying to save the link in your email or leave a browser open on your phone, or trying to find it again, you can simple copy the link and save the recipe in the app! You’ll have all your favourite recipes in one place which is 100 times easier when you’re working out your weekly food menu. The categories are great and you can even make your own categories if they don’t suit. The only slightly annoying this is when you can directly import the recipe from the website, but the app does give you the option of doing screen shots or typing so there is a work around. Overall it’s an incredible app and I’m really finding it very useful!

I keep coming back to use it. I have so much love for this app and its functionality. Its the first program that i have kept around the longest simply because its easier to use and and i relate better to food icons as menu folders for finding receipes quicker. Its quick, responsive and super easy to change any page, add extra items or copy something over. It gives you a great database range of storage. If I had to change anything, id would like to see more skin options. Keep up the great work!!

Love it! Time friendly.. I looked through/trialed several apps. I have food allergies and a busy, active working lifestyle. This app helps me organise and prepare good, healthy meals for my family. I especially find the shopping list aspect really great. Thank you. Also recently, had a question about syncing devices and got a personal response within 1.5 hrs… that’s pretty impressive!

Seems very useful. I haven’t used this app much yet as I wanted to see how good it was before I invested too much time and effort in collating all my recipes, but so far so good. The only annoying thing I have come across is when editing the amount of an ingredient it seems to not save my change each time but I could be doing something wrong and haven’t got the hang of it yet. I can see this app being super useful and using it everyday.

Fantastic virtual recipe tin. This is a brilliant app - easily the best I’ve tried! I started using Organizeat a few years ago, and it has simply continued to evolve and get better with time. I love being able to organise and categorise the recipes so easily, and the automatic shopping list is great! Recently I had a few problems with the app (entirely user-error), and sent off a frantic email, which was promptly and efficiently responded to, and then escalated straight to the app developer when I needed further help. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was sorted very quickly for me. Wonderful app, and well worth having!!

OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH.. When I was younger I’ve always wanted to be able to be a chef, I’m still working up to it, so thank you so much for this app, it’s helping me quite a lot, and now I finally have something to write all my recipes in and store them safely. So thank you to the owner and maker of this app, it’s truly an awesome and helpful app, I’d recommend to everyone.

Easy to use. I started using this app at the recommendation of a friend because I have hard copy recipes from a variety of sources in various folders taking up space in the cupboard. I am new to the app but have been pleased with how easy it is to use and how logical it all is. Can’t wait to get to the point where I have everything here in the one place!

Loving this app!. I discovered this app while planning to downsize from my huge family home to a much smaller place. I used to have one whole bookshelf for cook books. They’re all gone now! Another great advantage is that I can check the ingredients for any recipe while I’m at the market. Also love being able to search for a recipe without pulling several books. The recipes I had on scraps of paper will never be lost again. Love it.

Something you can stick with. After years of collecting recipes and many attempts at collating them into one place I ended up with 30 recipe books, about 500 unnamed screenshots and pages of handwritten notes. This app has saved me and given me hope that I will actually be able to move them all to one place - I’ve stuck with it for over a month now and find it so easy to use - it hasn’t let me down. Importing from webpages is a godsend (you really don’t need to read a full anecdote every time you want to find that recipe). I use the meal planner to track my left overs (recording each time we Have eaten it not just when we cook it which has been handy too.

Love it !!. Love the app. Instead of having millions of of magazine recipe pages getting lost I now take a photo and save it here. I love that we can now also download a recipe straight from a web site. So often I find myself at the grocery store with meal ideas and it’s so handy to have the recipes with me and get the ingredients. I could go on with the number of uses. Well done. It’s the best recipe organiser I’ve used.

Premium user | No customer service for major issue that stops me from using the app. I’m disappointed. When I tried this app for free, it felt like it fulfilled all the functionalities I needed so I purchased the yearly subscription. However, lots of things went downhill since then as I encountered several annoying bugs. But I didn’t really mind because I still managed to find a workaround. However, the last error I encountered was major as I couldn’t proceed to use the app. I wanted to add a recipe from a link. The app loaded then just froze and I was unable to click anything in the app. So I contacted the support via email 7 days ago but I haven’t heard back. Very disappointing. I’ve now started to use another app that fulfils my needs and it is free.

Best ever. Great app. Easy to upload saved hard copy recipes via photos and categorise them. The recent ability to add recipes from online links is fabulous. I downloaded and paid for unlimited and I can’t rate it high enough. Also great that can sync with iPad, then whilst out grocery shopping and about refer to my phone for ingredients etc.

Fantastic. This app is great, it imports recipes directly from external websites seamlessly as well as letting you put them in manually. I have it on my phone and my iPad, so I can quickly check ingredients required on my phone while I’m in the supermarket but then have it in large scale on my iPad while cooking. It’s also great how it will hook you back into the original web page recipe too, as sometimes these have videos or tips you want to see again. Great job!

Excellent recipe app.. OrganizEat is fantastic. Recommended by a friend, I have not been disappointed. Syncs across multiple devices including my phone which is great when shopping for ingredients. Have now archived most of my recipes in the app. The ability to save from websites or photos makes this is my easy go to when searching for my next cook up. Thanks for the quality user interface.

Wow this app is the best. I used to take snapshots of 1000’s of recipes and then write into many recipe books then could never find what I wanted. This app does it all. Snapshots saved to recipe and categorised. So easy to find. Can get shopping list as well, not that I need that as pantry is always full. Thoroughly recommend. Use for Thermo mix, slow cooker, pressure cooker, bbq, camp cooking and can add your own categories. Thank you

Love it!. My recipes have never been so organized. Incredibly handy, even when you are away from home your recipes are with you.

Great App!. This is the first app I have ever bought but worth every penny. User friendly, simple and yet very powerful. I am taking my recipes from 5 sources into one now...love it! Rachel responds to your email within 1 day, how's that for customer service. They have added some new features over the years which is amazing. I take this app on my iPad all over the world when traveling and can cook any of my favourite recipes anytime. Keep up the good work Rachel & team.

Great app but with one major flaw. I’ve used this app for a few years as a subscribed user and have had no issues until today. I got a pop up saying I wasn’t logged in so I assumed I had been logged out by accident. It’s then that I discovered that I had never signed up for an account even though I had been paying a paid subscription for years? I went to sign up thinking nothing of it and saw it started to transfer my 700 recipes to the account. It was then that my upload was interrupted by a phone call and 500 of the 700 recipes failed to upload. There was no message on the screen that said “do not close this screen or your upload will be interrupted”. It seems I have lost most of my recipes and even if I had been backing up to iCloud regularly they wouldn’t have saved (OrganizEat backs up to their own servers). I logged out on the app hoping my files were still there but no luck. I’m really hoping they will be able to retrieve my files (but not sure this will help since I hadn’t been aware a “sync” is required for this). Previously I would have given this app full stars but this is a major flaw and I’m very upset for my years of recipes lost :(

Almost perfect. So far I have found this app very functional and easy to use. It has been worth every penny to me to keep my recipes organized. The lack of star is for the incapability of dividing ingredients in multi-part recipes. For instance, cake recipes often have an ingredient list for the sponge, and a separate ingredient list for the icing. This app combines them. In addition, I would love a quick button (similar to the checkmark and heart icon) which indicates that I’ve not tried the recipe. Because of this deficiency, I try to reserve this app for vetted recipes only, but it would be nice to add recipes to my “must try” list while still keeping them organized in the appropriate category.

Love this app. I have had this app for many years now and I love how it gave me somewhere to keep all the paper copies I had gathered over the years. My mom and my mother in law also had hand written recipes that I was able to save and view on this app. I also like how easy it is to search for a recipe and the app is easy to use. I would recommend this app to everyone.

Love it. The flexibility of this app allows me to save pics and links of my favourite recipes. I just love it

Awesome app. Yes I have been trying this app and so far it has been awesome and easy to use. Great work and keep going your doing great.

OrganizEat is great!. I’ve had this app on my phone for a few years now and I trust it to hold all of my grandmother’s recipes. I’ve recommended it to many people who struggled with papers and magazines clippings like I did.

Organize Eat. This is the best app I have found. When I wanted to start, I reviewed so many different one. This app is all encompassing. It allows for on line access. Has room for me to add my own categories. And it’s super easy to find any recipe that I want. Good categories or search options. I love it! Naz S

This is my “Go To” cookbook. This app has been indispensable in my planning meals, grocery list, and making a recipe, without too much effort. I think we actually eat better meals, simply showing all icons on the screen, gives me more selection for changing up the menu. I have only had a couple of questions regarding this app and every time, the app people get back to me and help me with whatever problem was vexing me, in a timely manner. It’s truly been a pleasure to use & I hardly pick up a cookbook anymore!

Too expensive. This app was recommended to me by my mother who bought the app outright - no monthly or annual fee. She wanted to share her family recipes with me that she had saved in the app. However now to save more than 20 recipes you need to pay a large monthly or annual subscription fee which is quite expensive. For the amount I would use the app it is not worth the cost.

Easy to Use. This app is seriously so easy to use! Also I love that I can store all of my recipes in one place while having them be organized. Lastly I love that you can add notes to any recipe so you can remember if you made changes or substitutions to a recipe.

Great app - use it every day!. Love this app. If you do a lot of cooking from scratch and need to keep track of your recipes it’s fantastic. I like the ability to “favorite” a recipe. I always start my weekly meal planning with my favorites.

Best recipe App!. This app is fabulous. I am so pleased to have a place to store all my recipes. It's so easy to save, copy or take photos to make recipes on this app. This has contributed to our family eating a greater variety of healthy foods. Thank you!

Super. Vraiment j’adore cette application!!!

Great app. Works great

Great app, way too expensive. Started using this app before it became costly, loved it but have had to stop using it because the subscription model doesn’t make sense for my use, and I’ve run out of free recipe storage. Great app, not worth it for my family.

Love this App!. I use and recommend daily

Replace piles of cookbooks. This so handy. Instead of spending hours looking for a recipe in one of 30 or more cook books on my shelf. Usually there is one or two recipes l really like. Writing down is a pain. When l get a request from family or friends, I can send it to them by email from this app. I love it, would recommend this app to anyone who wants to store your favourite recipes that you use over and over. Now I don’t have to spend hours looking for recipes that I need, no more pieces of paper with recipes. Also when I had accidentally deleted a recipe I contact the support and they were able to retrieve my recipe. They are very helpful. When l visit a relative and we are making a meal or baking this is so much easier to have then looking through cook books.

Exactly what I need to organize and plan menus. This app does what I want to import my own recipes or get ideas from others. It is well worth it. Thanks for developing this app.

Super pratique. J'aime beaucoup cette application. J'y trouve toutes les recettes que j'aime, je n'ai plus besoin de papier ou de livre de recettes. Tout se retrouve sur ma tablette, y compris les photos. Bravo !

Life would be more difficult without OrganizEats. I have been using this app for a few quite a few years now. It was recommended to me by a friend and I am forever grateful. It is essential that I have my recipes with me when I grocery shop as sometimes I get inspired about a dinner while shopping but can’t remember all the ingredients. I also find it super handy to have my recipes on my phone as in the summer we are often at our summer cabin or camping. It is always nice to have at least that part of my life simplified. But one of the most fun parts of the app is the ability to share a recipe with friends as you are discussing the recipe with them. They love getting the information so quickly and are then inspired to make it!! Another great feature of the app is the ability to download recipes from other websites or from an instagram post so easily! I have many times and will continue to highly recommend this app.

Finally. I was so happy to pass this appThank you so much for making it easier for me to keep all my favourite recipes from friends and on the web organized I usually can never find them again now they are all in one place. Thank you

Perfect. Stop eating out and decide how to be a cook.

Best app too organize all you recipes. Except few minors issues, this is exactly the app I’m looking for to manage my recipe and avoid to forget my creations 😄

Amazing App!. This app allows me to store everything in one place…best part is I can add recipes in any format: picture, link and even my own handwritten recipes.

Best app for recipes. I have been using different apps for my recipes and I always found it difficult to sort and organize my recipes. I finally found OrganizEt and it is top! Very easy to use and organize by theme. I created my folders by type. When I find something interesting ont website, I can upload the recipes. I put notes when I make changes to the recipes. You can put your preferred one so it is easy to access. I would not come back to paper recipes or other type of organizer. This is just the right one! I had an issue with my renewal and the support team answered my email within 24 hours. And everything was fine.

Best Recipe App Ever. We’ve had this app almost since it was released. We use it at home, at our vacation property and in the RV. Every release seems to get easier and better. Nothing like it out there!

Great App. Super happy with this app. I can keep my recipes all in one place. Can copy and paste nearly all online recipes I like and want to keep track off and easy to add your own. Highly recommend

Exactly what you need to organize your recipes!. I downloaded this app to organize my copious amounts of paper recipes. My husband and I have been using it now for quite a few years. I love that I can find a recipe online and easily download it into the app and it’s always accessible. Nicole

Great Recipe App. Bought this for my grandmother so she could easily find her recipes. Easy to share, great app!

Perfect.. I love this app so much. Versatile, easy to use and syncs to everything so I always have my recipes wherever I go. I love that you can save your favourites right from a site and everything is in one place and easy to find. This is the one and only time I’ve ever actually purchased an app and it was worth it.

So far it’s been great !. I’ve just started using the app but I think I’m really gonna love it. I’ll update my review in a few months :) thank you

Awesome. The best recipe app EVER

Easy to use and visually appealing. I love this app. It’s easy to use and visually appealing. I especially like that you can search for recipes right in the app. I haven’t encountered any prompts to make purchases or upgrade which I love.

Love this App. Keeps all your favorite recipes so you have them wherever you go, and saves time going through recipe books for those special ones you always go to! I use this at home, at the cottage and when we go away for the winter to Mexico! Love this app!

Everything in one place- amazing!. I never write reviews but I really love this app. I have been using it weekly for meal planning, grocery shopping and of course organizing all of my recipes. It is so easy and intuitive to use. I have about 80 cookbooks and binders full of printed recipes as well as recipe cards- finding what I wanted was a project! Now, I am inputting all of my favorite recipes. It is so easy to photograph them to upload. Now they are with me everywhere I go and I can easily send a recipe to friends and family. This app is truly worth it and I have never said that before.

Great app. Such a simple way to keep recipes from my mother aunts etc Simply snap a pic and upload. Beautiful handwriting preserved and favourite recipes remain easily at hand!

Recette.

Best purchase ever. I’ve been using this app for a few years now and I just love it. I have the premium version and it allows me to access all my recipes everywhere I go.

My favourite recipe app out there!. This app has been absolutely great. Exceeded my expectations by far! So many sections as options to save and reference for convenience and the ability to customize by creating your own, using the cute icons they have etc. love it! You can find a recipe online and VERY EASILY transfer it to this without even typing a thing. So glad I downloaded. I’ve managed to try a new recipe everyone loved and has gotten me excited to try more. Highly recommend!!

Beyond Amazing. I’ve been using this app for all of 5 minutes and I am so very pleased. It’s organized, it’s easy to use, I have everything at my finger tips. Not only is it super easy to import recipes from a website, with a simple click of a button that recipe goes into a grocery list. I suffer from ADHD and this just pleases my brain and my need for things to be organized but also lack of motivation. Wow where has this been all my life.

Même en voyage je peux préparer mes recette préférées. Grâce à OrganizEat elles me suivent partout. Je ne suis jamais en panne et je peux partager mes coups de Cœur avec mes amis.

Great recipe app. This is a fantastic recipe app. You can import recipes from the internet or from another recipe app. You can add your own notes and even add a picture. Also it’s easy to send recipes too friends. Love it. Best app out there for keeping your recipes.

So far great start. Ok, I’m over loving this app. I might be a bit too stoned. 😎🤓. I’ve been struggling with organizing, this new diet. How to place it in my daily life, storing the recipes here. The app is put well together. I feel the price is great for what the app is used for. Good luck to everyone reading this. To the creator (S). Great job. Thank you. 🥰

Great app. Love this app. I have all my recipes organized and all in one place. Easy to add new recipes, much easier than going thru cookbooks all the time.

Love it!. I just love that all my recipes are with me when I travel and I’m not rummaging around looking for recipes as often. I also love that I can take a photo of my sentiment recipes that have all the love on the faded and tattered original recipe card❤️

Perfect for My Needs!. I’ve been using this app to file all of my personal recipes as well as the one I find on the web for the last 5 years. I really enjoy the feature to import them compatible with most website. So practical. A must have for cooking lovers out there!

One of my favorite apps. My friend just told me about this app, and I’m so glad I know that it exists now! After getting married I’ve been trying to get better at making consistent meals and keeping food in the fridge. I’ve been wanting something like this for a while now, you can save recipes from online and organize them easily into categories. They show up with only the ingredients and directions - it’s nice to not scroll through a blog post with a bunch of ads - and it keeps the link so that you can easily go back to the original website. You can add a recipe to your shopping cart which puts all of the ingredients into a shopping list for you! I seriously don’t have any complaints about this app, and I think it’ll make my life so much easier.

Awesome Recipe App, I Recommend for Everyone!!!. I’ve been using OrganizeEat for several years and I cannot say enough good things about it. I love that I can basically import a recipe exactly as it appears into the app or I can copy and paste, make changes to the recipe to customize the recipe to my taste, or type a family member’s/friend’s recipe from scratch. After the first few days I realized because my kids were going to be going off to school and getting their first apartments I wanted to share my recipes with them. So they both got the app and we upgraded so we could add more pictures. That way I could put a picture for every step of the recipe to make it easier for them to follow along as they learn. That’s how I’ve benefitted from this awesome app and I recommend it all my friend’s and family!

Wonderful way to save and organize recipes, meal plan, & shop. This app is wonderful! It make it so easy to save and organize my recipes so that I can access them anywhere (like when I’m grocery shopping and I decide to switch out my meal plan on the fly!) One of the most amazing features is the easy ways there are to save a recipe - if it’s from a common food website (Allrecipes or Food network), easily import it from the website with one click. If it’s from a blog or a physical recipe card you can save a screen shot/picture and quickly save it. And of course you can type it in too. This app is worth the money. It never fails me. It syncs in the cloud so I can get a recipe while shopping in the store on my phone that I added from my iPad. It’s made meal prep, shopping, and cooking so much easier!

Love finally being organized. I looked at many apps for recipe organization before choosing this one. One thing that was important to me was being able to scan or take a picture of an existing recipe card. Some apps made you type them all in! Yikes. No way am I going to sit and do that for days!! I’ve had a few recipes I’ve had to type into this app due to my card being messy. But it’s super easy and it organizes the steps for you. I like that you can add key words so when you’re looking for a recipe but maybe can’t remember what it was called you can still find it. There’s also a “notes” section at bottom where you can add who gave you the recipe. So far all the random sites where I’ve found recipes have worked at downloading the recipe into the app!! Yay!

BEST APP EVER! SAVE YOUR FAMILIES CHERISHED RECIPES. I have been through floods, mold, hurricanes, tornados, and many moves and unfortunately, lost many cherished recipes. When I found this app, I was skeptical because I’ve had others but THIS ONE IS EVERYTHING AND MORE! I LOVE how I can type, scan or import recipes and share them instantly with my family and friends!! It’s so simple and fast! I immediately told my parents and siblings, in fact everyone I know because my grandmothers are gone and my mother-in-laws and many of their recipes have disappeared. Losing those pioneer and depression eta recipes was terrible! As soon as I got this installed on my and my parents computers and iPad, I immediately started importing these cherished dishes and then saved them so they could also access them immediately. I can’t stress enough how important it is to safely store these family recipes. We lost my sister and she had several of her own and we have no way to recreate her rolls, cinnamon rolls, enchiladas and more. I highly recommend to everyone to invest the small amount to have this app that is truly worth gold. Did I mention that you can scan from magazines, handwritten recipes and there are also many that you can access through professional and commercial pages? Best app ever!

Love this app. My daughter-in-law told me about this app when she first got it so we have both been with this app from almost the beginning. Two or three years now at least. I’m using it right now as a matter of fact. I get my magnolia journal and I go through and put the recipes from it in this app that way they are easy to find. When I want to use one I just open it up to the recipe I want to use put it on my little phone stand or tablet stand and it’s so easy. Easy to read and easy to open and close and easy to add a recipe. I had recipes from my phone and Photos and Web. And they keep making it better! What more could you want LOL! Well, maybe have it cost a little less now. Diane, Boise Idaho

Truly Amazing. After searching for a few months to find a recipe organizer app that had everything I wanted, I finally hit the jackpot. I absolutely love that you can organize recipes into categories and how you can import recipes from images or from websites. That is really my favorite feature because 1) it has the recipe right there for easy access 2) it allows me to swiftly go to the recipe’s website for tips and notes without me having to go hunting in my Pinterest boards or notes for the original website. It makes storing and organizing my recipes so so easy!! I really appreciate this app, thank you so much for making it. I have had no issues with it and i really love the aesthetic color scheme and simplistic icons aswell. Thank you so so much for this blessing of an app!!

Great app!. My aunt is always texting me asking to send her recipes from her recipe book when she’s away from home, so for her birthday I’ve purchased the app outright instead of dealing with monthly or yearly subscriptions and I’ve been uploading every recipe she has in one app that she can access through her phone, tablet or laptop/desktop. Uploading the recipes is fast and easy - especially ones that she got from well known recipe sites! She loves the inspiration and ideas tab that lets you save the recipes automatically, much easier than trying to Pinterest! I started yesterday and already have 114 of her recipes uploaded. The only thing I do not like about this app is that the font is small, especially when on her tablet, and I wish she didn’t need to use reading glasses to use the app. All in all this is a great app that I would recommend to anyone.

Love it. I am having so much fun with this app. It's really easy to use and a nice way to keep recipes organized. I have so many recipes in different places, that I spend lots of time looking for them or forgetting about them. I've added 'recipes' that the only information I included was the location of the original recipe (e.g., page and book the recipe is in). I also use lots of tags. For example, I have recently become very interested in Pressure Cooking so if I add a recipe for the Pressure Cooker, I add 'Pressure Cooker' as a tag. I can easily do a search on just PC recipes. It's also nice to have photos of my mom's and grandma’s...hand written recipes. The possibilities are endless. Organizeat is always updating the app with new features. I have used other recipe apps and this one is the best. So glad I found this app. Thank you.

The best recipie app you could ever have!. I have been using this app for over 10 years and I can honestly say it is the BEST app I have on my phone, iPad. I use it all the time, and it’s so convenient when I’m at the store and see something on sale, to look up a recipe and ensure I have (or get) all the ingredients I need. I use this app if not daily then every other day. Seriously it is FANTASTIC!! I love this app, it’s ease of use, organization , quick finds, reliability, and in fact it has become my favorite. And the app support is amazing - when they say they answer every request or comment, they mean it! They are so helpful, so responsive, so prompt, and his is over YEARS of use! It’s totally worth every penny, I highly recommend it. Get it, you will be so happy you did.

Way too expensive. I was really excited about this app because this is the only one I have found that indicated it was free and could change the background. Unfortunately, I did not read the buried fine print. Although, I saw there was a premium version to pay for it seemed I wouldn’t use those features anyways and I was content with using this app as I didn’t see there was a 20 recipe limit. Of course it was my fault and only found out because I tried to type in the 21st recipe. I do not normally purchase apps, but I liked this app enough to entertain the possibility. This app is way too expensive to want to purchase. This app is cute and convenient, but not spectacular by any means. Not worth the lifetime purchase price. If it were half the price I would do it. I will be transferring my 20 recipes and adding my others to a completely free app. It does not have the cutesy appeal like I wanted, but costs nothing and does the same thing. So sad this app is too expensive to use.

A-MAZ-ING. These two developers are amazing! They are hands-on with this app and they really care about their users. If you have an idea while using send them a message - you will get a reply! This app is super user friendly and intuitive. I particularly appreciate the way it keeps my screen on while I’m reading a recipe. I don’t want to go into settings and manually adjust every time I’m cooking something so this is my favorite part. I also love being able to organize my screen shots. I have over 5,000 photos on my iPhone ALOT of screen shots, not all recipes but I wish I had an app to organize them all like this one...like things I don’t want to forget, things to buy, screen shots of receipts. Getting old/busy and need tools like this to keep me organized. I am glad to pay up for the convenience, personalized support and me supporting small businesses.

So easy to use. Like most of you reading this review, I had a paper recipe book stuffed with hand written notes and torn out pages from food magazines. Most were faded and stained with food. I was looking for a way to organize these recipes easily. I did not have the time to spend typing in every recipe. This app made entering the recipes easy. In a matter of a couple of hours I had all the recipes entered. Now I have my recipes wherever I go. If I had one wish for the designer of the app it would be to make sharing the recipes easier by allowing them to be sent in different file formats like .doc. This would allow me to export my data to a backup digital recipe book in case something happens to the app. I am still a bit old fashioned and like having a printed copy.

AWESOME APP!. First, I want to say that I don’t write reviews due to the time it takes me to put my thoughts down on paper— or text message. I’m dyslexic and the process of writing just takes me a bit longer than for most people. With that said, I simply love this app. OrganizEat has made finding, editing, and saving recipes super easy. I have even saved all my favs from my old recipe books and handwritten index cards onto the app. Now all my recipes are categorized and within my grasp no matter where I’m at. So now while shopping, I don’t ever have to worry about what I need for any given recipe because all I have to do is look and there it is. This app is one I would never want to be without. Thank you for your brilliant idea in creating such a wonderful and user friendly app. Simply AWESOME!!

Getting acquainted. So far so good, except for one main problem. I read reviews before downloading the app and saw several other reviewers comment on the price after the 20 free recipes the app gives you. I saw that the developer answered back with the cost for a year was $1 a month, and I’m ok with that, if this app ends up to be all I’m looking for. But when I started up the app it asked me to sign up at $10 per month! That’s not something I’m willing to do for any app, no matter how great. I’m hoping I will see that $1 a month once i hit my 20 allotted recipes That being said, so far its been pretty easy to use. Later I will play with it more and see if i can take things from my Pinterest and input them in the app, and from other sites. Ive input some of my own recipes and found some good ones in the Trending Recipes tab of the app.

Great app for organizing recipes. I’ve tried several apps for organizing recipes and found this to be the most user-friendly. I had a folder full of old recipes that I was able to easily scan into the app by taking a picture, adjust the picture and organize by type of food and even by ingredients. It makes it very easy to import recipes from the popular recipe sites and offers an option to take screenshots if the recipe is on a less popular site. The app limits to three screenshots which is sometimes a limitation. It would be nice if more could be taken in certain situations as some recipes are on multiple pages. You can create a shopping list from it and can make changes in the recipes or write notes. I find it extremely useful when I am cooking as I can use it both on my phone and iPad and I can also mark my favorite recipes.

Instantly imports recipes from my favorite bloggers. I love to cook and try new recipes, but with today’s internet we can be overwhelmed with choice. I’d try a new recipe that the family really liked but risked not finding it again, even with my bookmarks and Instagram saves. With OrganizEat, I am 1-click away to saving and filing recipes AND the links to the source —with the added bonus of being able to makes edits recording adjustments to the recipes I test and keep. Love adding my own photos as the cover pic of the recipe too. Syncing the app across devices is a huge bonus, since I can browse what I want for dinner on the train home from work and have the recipe ready to go on the tablet when I get to the kitchen. Definitely worth the upgrade to the paid version!

Great app!. When I got this app, I bought the lifetime subscription right away. I went through my recipe box and added all my recipes to this app. After that I added my mother’s recipes and my mother-in-laws. I still have all of our recipe cards but now I don’t handle them, and it saves them from being used so often. I had so many lose recipes that I had cut out of magazines so I took pictures of them and then threw the clippings away. It is so easy to look up recipes now rather than going through all the recipes in my recipe box. I have the OrganizEat app on my phone so if I want to make a recipe but can’t remember what I need for ingredients when I am at the grocery store, I just pull up the app on my phone, and there is my recipe!

Makes my cooking life easier. I’ve been using this app almost daily for several years. Whenever I see an interesting recipe online, no more emails, cut & paste,... For the most part, it’s three clicks (on a few websites, it’s still cut & paste but at least it’s in blocks and not one ingredient/step at a time). Favorite parts: sorting into categories, keywords, recipe resizing, a ‘this week’ list, a calendar for menu planning for special events, a grocery list, and best of all, quick response when you have a problem. I also like that you can add notes and extra pictures. Renewing annually works for me now but one day I’ll switch to lifetime; nice to have options. It’s one of the few apps that’s stayed on my home page since day one. Highly recommend.

Best recipe organizer app - highly recommended. I GOT THIS APP AN HOUR AGO and I’m already leaving a review y’all trust it’s worth it This app saved me a lot of money and time. I’m a mom and a business owner who works from home so I’m constantly busy and it is just so time consuming to go through my cookbook even though I have labels in it, I’m too busy. This app allows me to search up recipes I created (HUGE time saver), I can create recipes WITHOUT writing them !!! I can take a picture of the recipe or save a recipe from the internet! Of course there’s an option for you to type out the recipe. All you have to do is write the name, ingredients and steps in the given box and the app will to the rest for you !!! Everything is organized and you can create your own folders if you’d like as well as renaming the existing ones !

Could not be simpler!. I had hundreds of recipe snapshots from digital magazines thrown in with thousands of pics on my phone and iPad. With a little bit of time and effort, my recipes were easily transformed into an organized digital recipe box. This app is beyond amazing, easy to learn, easy to use, predictable and reliable. Now my recipes that were hand written on paper stuffed into an envelope are safely organized and right at my fingertips. You are in complete control of your entries, and how you find them. Add and delete at any time, make corrections or tweak your recipes as you please! And as a bonus....sync every time you make entries on any devises you have, and you can see all your recipes across all devises! This developer thought of everything! It’s become one of my fave apps on my phone❤️

Changed my life!. I got this app thinking it may make organizing my (hundreds) of recipes easier but, man, it is so much more! While I have added my favorites by typing or simply taking a photo, it is so easy to add recipes from online magazines and websites or using the “trending” feature on the app. Plus meal planning is my absolute favorite part of the app. And, then, you can make a grocery list! Who knew food could be so fun? Plus you can share your recipes with others with a click and my foodie daughter and I can share a recipe box so I can see her fancy “international” recipes and she can access our families’ traditional favorites. Cooking and meal planning has become so much fun, I won’t go back to traditional recipe boxes or other recipe apps. Take advantage of the low lifetime rate for unlimited recipe storage.

Impossible to Possible (magic). My Husband cherishes the recipes that his Family passed down through generations. His Mother, no longer with us, used food and traditions passed down through generations to bring light, love, and life to Her Family. Luckily, she wrote down the ‘secrets’ and happiness. The information and insights were scattered; written mostly on index cards that I am almost afraid to touch, given their age. This app has allowed me to capture all I have wanted for my Husband. Not just the recipes or advice… but in His Mother’s handwriting. I have attempted to achieve this for quite a while and was unsuccessful until I found this app. I hope to have everything complete and wrapped in a bow by this Christmas. Thank you!

Keeps me sane!. I love love love this app! I’ve transferred all of my recipes to this app and it makes my life so much easier! I can conveniently look at the recipes where ever I am! I frequently forget my grocery list at home and having access to my recipes wherever I am helped me find all the products I needed for the week. It makes sharing recipes with family and friends so much easier. It helps make one of my least favorite tasks much easier, picking dinners for the week is so much more efficient. Now if I’m using one ingredient for one recipe and I know I’ll have leftover all I have to do is put that on ingredient in the search bar and up pops all of the recipes including that ingredient. It’s actually ended up saving me money because I’m no longer wasting food. Highly recommend!

I love this app!. I had been looking for a quick and easy way to have my recipe book in my phone. I found this app and decided to try it. I love how I can either import from a photo, typing or from the internet. It’s so nice! I especially like how I can meal plan and put all my recipes for the week in one place and since I have gone through and put them all in with ingredients lists then with the click of a button it makes my entire grocery list! I add the extra things we need and is it in the store. Super easy to check things off as I go and because of this organization I have been able to save hundreds of $ on my grocery bill. With any app, there is always room for improvement and I’m excited for this app to continue to evolve to help me make my life in the kitchen and grocery store that much easier.

This is a great app!. This has allowed me to take recipes from lots of places, and put them all in one app – – – hallelujah! I also like using the shopping list, which is not restricted to the ingredients in whatever I'm making.… The app functions really well, but could use a little tweaking in the shopping list – –An example would be that if I want to look for canned tuna, it wants to put it in the fish section of the list, which is accurate but doesn't help me organize my shopping, as well. BUT the apps creators are really responsive, and when I wrote to them suggesting that kind of a change, I very quickly got a reply saying that they would take that into account as they try to improve the app.

Organize. Tomorrow is my one year anniversary of owning and using this app. I bought the best version as a birthday present to myself. It has worked perfectly for me. It is easy to use and allows photos to be stored of recipes from all sources. I found it by accident but feel like I found a treasure. I highly recommend it. I love taking photos of recipes from my cookbooks, adding recipes from the Webb, making comments and taking photos after cooking them. I no longer have to remember which book or place my favorites came from. It just makes life and cooking better. The ease of this app is amazing. Thank you. Money well spent. By far, my favorite app. A big thank you to the creators of this app. 🧚‍♀️💕

Still The Best!. Been using for a couple of years now and it’s all I use for recipes. Just keeps getting better! Update - Probably wrote the above review 2 years ago and what I said continues to be true. I’ve been paying for the yearly subscription and it’s so worth it. Love the many ways to download recipes to my file, although the way I use the most is by photo. Have downloaded family recipes in my mother and grandmothers handwriting and now I can see them, use them, and not worry about dripping food all over them. I love looking for new recipes online, in magazines, from friends where ever and I can download them all. The people who run this app are amazing. Very responsive and can help you with any problems you may be having. I remember reaching out a while ago because I wasn’t sure how to do something. They responded within 24 hours and gave me easy to follow directions on how to accomplish the task. They are constantly updating and thinking of new ways to make the app more useable and they take suggestions too! Honestly I use this app every day! I like the weekly meal planning section (This Week), favorites and the ability to create my own categories (like Vegan for my vegan son)! You should definitely give this recipe organizer a shot - it’s a keeper!

Exactly what I needed!. Two years ago I was needing a way to digitize my hard copy recipe collection and this app was the perfect solution! So a little back story, I’m a personal chef and I’ve collected hundreds of recipes over the years, many written out by hand or printed out on paper. I was planning some long term travel and I knew I’d never be able to carry my full recipe collection with me. So I went in search of an app to digitize my collection of recipes. I tried a few apps but they weren’t a good fit. I downloaded this app and immediately knew it was the right one for me! Easy to use, great organization options, and such cute icons! It’s simple and holds my recipes safe and easily accessible no matter where I am in the world! I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Finally!!. I’ve been saying, “I need an app that stores all of my recipes that I’ve been collecting in different formats. If this app hasn’t been invented, then someone should!” I take screenshots from internet recipes, pictures of recipes from a magazine in a waiting room, get a recipe card from an olive oil shop, whatever, but I’m always scrolling through the photos on my phone or looking through piles of papers trying to find them! My Aunt heard what I said and found this app for me! The creator’s description of her situation was just like mine, and the app can do exactly what I wanted! I’m so excited to have this app finally! The only thing I’m worried about is giving access to all my photos and if my data is being sold. The answer is probably in the fine print.

Best app for recipes. I love finding recipes online and even collecting printed or hand written recipes from family and friends. This app is incredibly useful and easy to use for organizing all the recipes that I need! I even purchased an annual subscription for another app (eMeals) that adds new recipes weekly. I don’t really want to keep that subscription but I want to keep the recipes that I’ve made from it without having to pay (imo too much $$) to utilize and save them every year. With OrganizEat I’m able to upload my favorite recipes via screenshot, photos, and even links to keep them forever without paying for a subscription every year. OrganizEat takes the data and formats it perfectly. I can even manually add in my own recipes. Probably the most useful, streamlined and bug free app I have.

My FAVORITE APP!!. OrganizEat has changed the way I cook and brought sanity to my chaotic, disorganized recipe scrap pile of scribbled notes…..It is SO user friendly….simple to share and presents your recipes in a way that makes sense. I’m a not too techy Grama and it was easy for me to figure out. I enjoy reliving some of the food memories and holiday meals made by my Mom, Grama and Aunts. Very simple to use and great having all my recipes in one place! I love it! Reasonably priced too and we’ll worth every penny!….after sharing some of these recipes, I’ve had friends ask about this app (who also went on to download it …and are also very happy with it!) I don’t know the person that created it but I’d like to thank them because this really is super helpful and also very aptly named!Thank you!

Looked for a way to have recipes handy!. I love using this app. I have a lot of cards of recipes that are reaching age limits of the card their on. I found this app and have been transferring recipes from cards to an organized file I can bring up fairly quickly. I just found I can create my own category which helped for those recipes that require a new category so they don’t get lost. It has been a great tool in my cooking. The only thing I could see to improve it would be a table of contents that could assist in finding those recipes that could fit several categories. Most recipes I know where to go but a table of contents so you don’t have to open several before finding recipes would be great. My older mind doesn’t bring up exactly where I can find recipes.

FINALLY! An app that does EVERYTHING I’ve been searching for!. For far longer than I care to admit, I have been saying that I wish there were a way that I could have all of my recipes on my IPad, phone or computer and get rid of the 5 binders that I have created over several years of printing off recipes…. Not have to worry about traveling and bringing every cookbook I own so that I have all the recipes I want to use, not to mention, I can write my own recipes, copy family recipes, and take notes as to what I might or might not do differently with a recipe. This is a game changer for me. I am so excited about this app, and though I am fairly new to it all, I am already loving it! Once I get even further into getting ALL of my recipes loaded in, I will put out another review, but I am positive that it is going to be my lifesaver!

BEST BEST BEST free recipe organizer. I’ve been using this app for about 4 or 5 years. It is THE BEST APP EVER!! The developers are so responsive and helpful. They really cater to the users and even let us vote on changes, updates, and other things in regard to the app. They’ve built a great community around the app with a FB page for sharing all kinds of cooking info and app tips. This is an app that actually works the way it is supposed to. I use this app daily. Whatever the cost is, it’s worth it. Do not hesitate in purchasing this app. I’ve been able to get rid of my big messy recipe folder. It’s all in here. Just a click away when I’m shopping. I just love this app. It is really amazing and I couldn’t imagine not having it. 🥰🥰🥰

The perfect app to store your recipes in one place. This is exactly the app i was looking for. I constantly save so many different recipes on several different apps and it got to the point were it got hard to remember which website or app i saved the recipe on and i was looking for an app where i could quickly store a new recipe as soon as i come across one in one place. My favorite feature about this app is that you it creates a grocery list for you based on what the recipe calls for which makes it super easy for me when going grocery shopping. And there’s also a meal planner feature which is also super helpful in helping me decide what to cook for the week. Seriously thank god for this help. Easy, efficient, and aesthetic pleasing

Saves Time With Recipes. Ok first of all this app really has changed how I save my recipes. Apple phones make storing photos a pain in the neck. I can’t stand that when I create albums (example Recipe album,) that photos become duplicates, but should I delete the photo from “Recents” then ALL duplicates get erased. So my albums become an ever-growing sea of duplicates. I’m someone that likes uncomplicated methods. When it comes to cooking all I do is Google a recipe that I feel like making & take screenshots. If that recipe is great then I won’t delete the screenshots. But once I do these screenshots are without the recipe names & then become lost in my “Recent” album since I despise duplicate photos. This app has made it easy to save recipes and I love how simple it is. I get to save my screenshots and type in the recipe name. It’s basically all I ever needed! ……But there are two issues with the ease of use in this app :( One: Images have to be uploaded one by one, there is not select multiple option. This has made saving older recipe photos very difficult. Two: You’re only allowed to save three photos, which has became a big headache finding another app to conjoin recipe photos without cutting off text. Overall this app is making cooking time easier, but I run into detours time to time.

Great organizational tool for recipes!. I’ve used the app for about 2 months now. So far I’ve saved recipes from websites, recipes that I previously had printed out, and have recycled about 2” of paper! It easy to save recipes from websites, easy to add notes to a recipe. The option to categorize a recipe to more than one category, such as to chicken and to salad, makes it easier to locate a recipe. The function that allows one to share recipes with other users is great! No more “ send me that recipe, please”. That recipe. when it’s been saved to the app, will appear once you have synced. I’ve typed in a few recipes. I’ve added recipes by taking a photo of a handwritten recipe with its well used look that indicates how much it is loved! I recommend this app for anyone who loves cooking and who strives to be better organized.

Easy app to use. I’m not a tech person. I like to cook. Tired of losing my recipes. This app is easy to use. Anywhere. Home daughter’s houses. I can share recipes. They are at the store and need a recipe when m at work. No problem. I look on my phone. I have changed devices and have had no problem using this app on multiple devices. Phone computer or iPad. Love it I sell dog treats and when someone asks me what is in one, it is on my phone. I did have a problem, my fault I had used2 different emails. I wrote in and got a very quick response and talked to me in English not tech talk to explain what I had done. Gifted this to my granddaughter since she wants my recipes and I don’t see her often. I can share with her and she can share new recipes with me. Wouldn’t use another recipe app for my recipes. Easy to set up and use.

Best App Ever!. I have used OrganizEat for years now and it’s the best; I’ve tried everything out there! If you want to keep your moms/grandmas recipes in their handwriting, then this is the app for you. All the other apps I tried were good but they kept “going out of business” and I would have to start importing ALL my recipes once again! This is one of my previous reviews: “You are doing such a great job with this app! Keep up the good work! I love being able to keep my mom’s recipes in her own handwriting; what a treasure. I’ve used many different recipe apps through the years and have ended up losing all my hard work when the app wasn’t kept up-to-date. This app is definitely worth the purchase and customer support is outstanding! (I’m NOT affiliated with the company!)”

Best recipe organizer. I took the chance and invested in the full package. I could not be happier! I’m using it to store all those recipes I’ve saved for years that I’ve forgotten about. This app allows me to save photos and search easily for anything. For the life of me I cannot figure out why anyone would rate this app as a 1 star. The app creator is always quick to response to issues or questions. They have expanded the supported sites and made it even easier to save any pages you copy. Even if the site isn’t supported, it will allow you to bookmark the website and add details that make it easy to refer to. I can’t speak to sharing the app with family or friends but individually this is my go to for storing everything. LOVE THIS APP!!!!

Loving organizing my recipes. Thank you so much Rachel for creating an app that will keep My Recipes together and organized.. I also love having my breakfast decide I want to prepare home in a book and I’m in the I have over 120 recipes in my phone under “my contacts” and the ingredients and instructions are in the “notes” section at the bottom. This is so much more organized!! I did find a way to separate cakes from cookies from keto recipes from casseroles, etc. etc. but having an app with all of my recipes together is so much better! I love your headings and the way the categories are divided. I enjoy having my Recipes with me. So many times when I take a dish to a church group, or a dinner I’m invited to, even a family event, People ask me for the recipe. I love baking so I’m always sharing the recipes that I find and even the ones I have from my mother and grandmother. I also love having my recipes in my phone because if I decide I want to prepare something and the recipe is at home in a book or box I would have to go home to get the ingredients list. As I mentioned, I am new to your app, still figuring out how to use it. But I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this together - I’m loving it!!

Love this app. I have tried several apps to store my recipes and OrganizEat is by far the best! It is easy to use. The note section allows me to comment on the recipe and store any changes or variations I have tried. I collect cookbooks and found your app excellent for keeping my favorite recipes in one place. I am a seasonal resident in Florida and my permanent home is in Massachusetts. With this app I am able to take my favorite recipes with me wherever I go. I installed the app on my iPad and on my phone. With the sync feature, I have my collection on hand at the grocery store. When I’m shopping and find a great sale on chicken for example, I can refer to my app to see what extra ingredients I may need to purchase for a specific recipe. Thank you for creating this great app!

One Of My Favorite Apps. I’m not an App person, but this App is one of the few I really like! It serves a very useful purpose, is well thought out and works well. I have so many recipes written on scraps of paper, torn out of magazines, on index cards, printed off websites, etc. I have been looking for a solution for storing and organizing my recipes for years. Then I stumbled on OranizeEat. It is the perfect solution. You simply take a picture of the recipe and voilà Your recipe is now stored forever, ready to have notes about it entered and organized. What a simple and elegant solution (most of the best solutions are). You can download the App and use your recipes on all of your devices so you always have then wherever you are. Thanks so much to Rachel and Michael for finding a great solution to a common problem. And one that works very well. Bravo!

Love this Recipe App!!!. I’m not super organized by nature. I’m a creative. But this very helpful recipe organizing app has helped me in so many ways!! About a year ago I thought I had lost my book of recipes that I had been collecting all my life. I was heartbroken. So I set out to find a better way to keep track of them. In comes OrganizEat. First and foremost, my recipes are all stored in one place in the cloud and I can access them from my phone while grocery shopping (life saver) and refer to my recipe on my iPad (easier to see than on a small recipe card) while I’m cooking. I can organize by category, so if I need a side dish, I look up side dishes. I can find recipes online and add them to my collection. This App is probably one of my most used apps!!! I did finally find my original recipe book, but I’ve been transferring them into my app so I don’t have to worry about that happening again!

OrganizEat. I absolutely love this app. It is so easy to use. You can easily take a recipe from the internet or straight from a photo and put it in the app. If I’m in a grocery store and need to look up a recipe, I can check my ingredients list in the app. I’m “old school,” and I would always print out a recipe I would fine. Now I don't have all that paper sitting around. I can mark my favorite recipes and if I use a lot of recipes from a particular cook or cookbook, I can put them in their own folder so they are easy to find. This is probably one of the most consistent apps I use. I also like to cook if I’m on a trip or visiting someone and want to make a meal. I have my recipes already on the app, so I can easily shop for ingredients and make a meal. I’m still in the process of transferring my favorite recipes from my cookbooks to the app, so I can free up kitchen counter space.

Best recipe organizing app out there!. I have been using OrganizEat for years and really appreciate the work and effort that goes into the regular updates. The ease of saving recipes directly from your favorite food blogger to snapping pictures and entering in your own recipes is a dream. I had a MOUNTAIN of personal recipes with no clue how to effectively curate, group them, and mostly keep them safe. You can tag your recipes for easier search results, plus add your own notes if you like to tinker with established recipes. There is a cost if you want OrganizEat to sync across devices, which I’m willing to pay. You never know if you’ll be scrolling the internet with your phone, tablet or laptop and I like that I can capture a recipe in one place and then sync it. If your scared of having your catalog online and losing it, you can save your recipes to PDF files. You can even select recipes to create a weekly menu with shopping list with a simple tick. I also appreciate the “inspiration” which curates the most popular recipes uploaded, so if you’re looking for something different, check there. Thanks to the developers for making recipe saving to easy. You’ve thought of everything.

Amazing app!!. This app does a great job storing all my recipes from various sources in one place. I do weekly menu plans and was storing all my recipes and ingredient lists in Excel, but this app makes it so much easier!! Importing the recipes is so easy, and I can even import from blogs and all the recipes are sorted as I want them. The menu planner works great, and creating a shopping list that sorts in order of like ingredients means I’m not running in circles in the grocery store. Oh and to have the ability to click on ingredients I already have so they are removed from the shopping makes for a much more manageable list to work with. And when it comes time to cooking it’s easier to work off this site to follow the directions, they are laid out better than the recipe sites.

Best App for multiple recipe sources!. I am so thrilled to have discovered this app to save my recipes from various location and across devices. I have many old recipes, handwritten by parent, grandparents, and great grandparents. I love that I can capture in photos and save directly into the Organizeat App. This app is very flexible, extremely editable, and also offers a lifetime subscription. It is affordable as well, and customer support has been fabulous (most of my issues have been related to confusing subscription options). There are some recipe sites from which I have not been able to save links directly. That can be a little frustrating, but the work around is to take photos of the webpages and then save (or one could type in by hand if so inclined). Love this app and use it all the time😊

Organize at. I LOVE this app. I have been using it for quite a while now, it works great with my iPhone and iPad-- with it paired up to my phone it makes shopping easy when I am able to just pull up the recipe to see what I need to pick up. I have tried other recipe app's and found this one to be one of the easiest. GREAT APP!! Thank you! I have been telling all my friends how easy and convenient this Organize Eat app. is to use— I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it!! The fact that I can just take a picture of the recipe and add to my recipes is awesome- don’t have to sit there and type it all out - only to find errors and have to go back to correct! The other cool thing is that when I have a recipe pulled up on my IPad, it stays up on the screen - does not fade away, so I don’t have to keep touching the screen (with messy hands) to bring it back up. I can go on and on, this is a GREAT App.!
