Love it!!. I never knew about this app until one of my friends who grew up in Gloucester told me about this as the weather is so bi polar and likes to change and not know what it wants to do lol. Well, guess it’s New England weather lol. But, it helps me to see what the next few hours will be. Also, it’s so much better than the other apps for weather forecasts even our phone one. This one is accurate compared to the others that it doesn’t say it’s raining UNTIL it’s raining or snowing.

Great little app except for 1 thing. I purchased this ad free and recently the ads are back. The restore purchase function doesn’t seem to work consistently. I wish someone would fix that because I am not paying another 3.99 to get rid of the ads again. Otherwise I love the app. I believe it is accurate and updates frequently. I like being able to save locations also as I travel for work.

Good app. Opening screen can be set for a variety of views, including radar. Forecasts are very complete. And the number of different alerts that can be set is truly astonishing.

Very Useful App. I use this app regularly to stay informed about the weather in my area. Commercial weather services get their weather from NOAA. So, why not go to the source and get solid, focused information without all the alarmist junk commercial services like to pass off as news?

Excellent weather app!. A must have, the only weather app we have tried in years that was actually accurate!

Works with voiceover. All features aside from the map are accessible with voiceover. When using voice over, you will need to use one of the tabs at the bottom to select another panel, since maps is the default.

More accurate than any other weather app. I’ve tested a few and this is the best one by far. Love that you can pick specific locations and it adjusts the forecast.

Love NOAA. Great app. While it’s not as “fancy” as some other weather apps, I feel this gives you everything you need and nothing you don’t. I particularly like the pictures associated with the forecast. I also like how the info is drawn directly from noaa.

Great Interface. I use a bunch of weather apps because I am a bit of a weather junkie and have a science background. This is my favorite weather app in terms of layout and functionality. Intuitive and treats the user with respect, provides appropriate detail without clutter as well as access to more when desired.

Pretty great info, ok design. I like that the app makes it easy to see the dew point. There aren’t graphs or cool visualizations, but if you can, like, read a list you’re good to go. The front page gives a quick prose summary of the day, which is nice.

About time to move on. UPDATED REVIEW: it’s been about a year or so since my initial review & sadly, still have NEVER RECEIVED A WEATHER ALERT! No favorites tab has been added. Still have to select which overlay on the map I want to view, and now have to zoom in on my location because it shows all of the US, Mexico, & Canada. The radar in motion is still clunky & slow, & that’s if it works @ all. Very disappointed. It’s really not even a 1 Star app @ this point. The app does provide the detailed forecast from the NWS. & that's about the good thing. You can set up weather alerts & there's an option for sound, but according to the developer you will only get these if you leave the app open. Really? I had several winter weather advisories for my area & did not receive a single notification of any of them. Each time you enter the app it takes you to the map tab. Which is ok if you want that. There's no option to add a favorite tab. On this map, you have to select which overlay you want each time. It does not save the overlay you want. Causes additional taps & gets annoying. The overlays look clunky & not as accurate as the NWS radar. Overall just a 2 star app right now. If the severe weather notifications were to actually work w/ sound, better map, ability to save a favorite tab & settings on the radar, could be the perfect app. Hopefully some things will be fixed/added

Reliable weather forecasts. I have been using this weather app for about 3 months and have found it to be as reliable as forecasting the weather can be, especially in northern New England.

My go to. No extra battery pulling info- “just” good local weather-blended by professional scientists and local spotters. Good general and detail info, most accurate.

Great developer!. Wrote a review two days ago that the radar wouldn't load. A new update was available and the radar and app work great!

Best weather app. In my experience the predictions are the closest to what really happens. The interactive map makes forecasting for exactly where you are quick and easy.

Always accurate. This is my go to site for the weather! I find others apps take their forecasts from NOAA. I have been familiar with NOAAs research for decades.

Best weather app. Didn’t use iPhone for many years because this app wasn’t available. It has everything I need, easy to access, and nothing I don’t use.

Just the facts. Love that this is easy to use, has a simple and informative interface, and while it has ads, they are not in your face about it. Every other weather app I tried drove me nuts with ads, this one does not! Love this.

Reliability. More likely to be right than other sources which isn’t to say they are not frequently and spectacularly wrong.

Good data, obtrusive map. Good forecast data, but there seems to be no way to dismiss the map. As a result, you can only use half your screen to see the forecast.

Go-To App for Weather. I’m a farmer and I use this app every day to see what’s currently happening and what’s coming up weather-wise. I especially like the hour-by-hour charts which help me plan my day. I like the minimal advertising and straightforward design.

Reliability. I used to pull this up on my computer way back when but now I have it on my iPhone and iPad. It’s not “slick” or fancy. The app give you fast reliable info. If you are expecting an event or are experiencing an approaching system, you can go from the app to their Website. This is where you can see radar, satellite and in depth forecast. You can find very technical scientific data there if needed. Bottom line- it’s a reliable weather app with science behind the data.

Pinpoint forecasts a must!. Most important is the ability to have a pinpoint forecast accurate to the elevation of our home, as it is different from the surrounding area. This is the only app I have found that successfully provides that.

BEST WEATHER APP. I have been using a variety of weather apps, and my friend who is a United pilot, Capt., introduced me to this app, which is the best. It’s detailed, the advertisements are download, and you don’t have to find where the little axes to get it off your screen. It’s detailed hour per hour, including the wind and the wind direction. And it’s been very accurate thus far. I have been so frustrated with the apps I was using that kept wanting me to click on their commercials, and this one is very respectful of my attention. It doesn’t have the radar of the storm coming in but I use a separate app for that.

Long time Fan!. I have used this app for years. Excellent all the way. NOAA is where the official info comes from and this app lays it all out simple and complete...down to the easy access to the local forecast discussion written by the guys who interpret the models and algorithms.

The Best Weather App. This app gives all the info that the national weather service website gives, all in one place. This includes relevant warnings that you choose, including tsunami, which is important to me because I live about 25 ft above sea level. I don't use the website anymore, Just this app.

Excellent app but it needs graphs instead of tables. Super convenient way to access NOAA forecasts on the go. The only thing missing is displaying the hourly forecasts graphically as on NOAA’s page instead of several tables. It’s a lot easier to read and understand this data from simple line charts.

Best weather app!. After years of using this app, I can say NOAA has the most accurate weather data and most user friendly interface of any weather app available.

Good app. I like being able to click on the map and getting weather for anywhere in the mountains or other remote areas.

Best NOAA App. As a weather fanatic, I’ve downloaded just about every weather app on the market. This is by far the best use of National Weather Service data as well as the user interface. Gladly paid to remove the ads. Please keep up the good work!!

Great features. A+ Developers. For accurate NOAA weather this app has a great feature set. It has taken the best features of the NOAA website and put them into this app. It even has a button to take you to the webpage in safari if you want. The developers are very responsive to questions and help.

No notifications. App also stopped working.. I have never received one notification from this app even though it’s supposed to be a weather app that could potentially save lives. Also as of today I haven’t been able to get my forecast. And finally the radar is crap compared to other apps out there. I’ll probably just switch to another weather app since the app never works!

Weather at a tap !!. This app is far better than any local weather station spot on ever time I check for my area on the map not the close tv station and hour and a half away

NOAA Weather. I think that NOAA Weather is the best weather app by far. It is always very accurate and I can always plan my day around it I use this app every day and know that it will be correct

The gold standard for weather apps. This app truly is the gold standard. You can pin point exact locations and save to your favorites list to quickly compare forecasts. The format is intuitive. The data is extremely detailed (hourly % precip, wind speed/direction, temp, cloud cover). This app is what I use to plan where I will be recreate 100% of the time, whether that’s skiing, climbing or biking.

Great app, needs graph not table for hourly weather. It would be huge improvement to get a graph option for the hourly data instead of a big table of numbers. A minor update would be to default to the forecast instead of the radar. Love everything else about the app though!

NOAA Weather App. This is a great app. Use it daily. The satellite view is great for seeing if the rain is headed my way. I can add multiple cities so when I travel I can pack the right clothes and plan activities. Weather alerts are handy to keep me prepared for coming storms. It is all NOAA data which is fairly accurate. Highly recommend this app.

Great App!!. I really like this app and use it pretty much everyday!! One thing I would really like to see is the radar layer on the map to get a major upgrade!! Otherwise it’s a great app, and I recommend you try it!!

IOS 13.5 battery killer. When I loaded IOS 13.5 my battery life went to nothing as several weather apps including this one ran continuously in the background. I contacted the developers and these folks were the only ones to answer. They found the issue and installed a fix that works! Can I give them six (6) stars? Keep up the great work!!

Solid app and easy too use.. This is app iss my daily check on the weather. The developers did a good job flowing NOAA Weather to is platform. I like the data tables that show hourly predictions for temperature, cloud cover, dew point, humidity, chance of precipitation and amount. The only point I have an issue with is the wind direction indicator. IT’s pointing to the direction the wind is coming from rather that away from the direction, as a wind sock would do in real life.

NOAA weather app. Easy to use and more trustworthy than the other weather apps, because I believe it updates more frequently. However, just like the other weather apps, it is still frustratingly slow when it comes to downloading the radar weather map.

Excellent Product. It gives me exactly what I need to know. If I were to change anything, it would be the map. It takes up 1/2 the screen and doesn’t do much except tell you where you are! But all in all, a great app. Thank you.

Needs more work. Th iPad Version is great but the iPhone version I can add more than one favorite, does not display weather data for any other places than you 1 favorite.

Works great. My favorite weather app!

Not truly international. Not sure if it is an advertising scam or they just don’t update the app, but it’s NOT international weather coverage. I didn’t try obvious locations such as the UK or other places in Europe but you would think Mexico would be in their database—nope. I guess it’s called “NOAA” for a reason (N=national i.e. USA). Don’t say you’re an international app if you’re not.

Paid but getting ads. Yesterday no ads, today ads are back! Frustrating !

No background map.. When the map opens it provides a location but no background map loads. Other functions seem to work but no background map ever displays. I’m using latest version of iOS.
